<v Speaker 1>And we should be live right now on YouTube dot com.
<v Speaker 2>Welcome on into the Non Tender Podcast Holiday episode to
<v Speaker 2>our special two our special because not to be graphic,
<v Speaker 2>but last week I was vomiting out my ass. Okay,
<v Speaker 2>not to be gravy, not to be graphic, I felt graphic.
<v Speaker 3>Last week was a picture.
<v Speaker 2>Last week you were in the e last week I
<v Speaker 2>was insane the week now.
<v Speaker 3>Whatever that was, I don't know what.
<v Speaker 2>That was joined by the lovely adorable sweet Kimberly Tunes.
<v Speaker 1>No, I mean I would have taken it though. I
<v Speaker 1>am here.
<v Speaker 2>Though, joined by the lovely adorable sweet Ham and Shadow.
<v Speaker 1>I'm here. I'm just now. But it's okay.
<v Speaker 3>That was.
<v Speaker 1>It's all good.
<v Speaker 2>Don't say the h C words this early so we
<v Speaker 2>don't need to get DEMONOTISEDID I've already read it Weds.
<v Speaker 2>I've already risked it with ass vomit.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, hold on, let's we're gonna blame me when
<v Speaker 1>you said that.
<v Speaker 2>I think YouTube would have a hard time with the
<v Speaker 2>h C it is or the a V right, huh,
<v Speaker 2>the A bomb right, the thing that you said, yeah, right,
<v Speaker 2>thing I said. Oh, now that we're finally live, maybe
<v Speaker 2>I'll be allowed to share this stream to my YouTube. No, no, no,
<v Speaker 2>it still won't work. This is the most insufferable. I
<v Speaker 2>don't know why. I always want to share the stream
<v Speaker 2>to uh my main channel, my community tab, and for
<v Speaker 2>some reason, it won't let me share a live stream
<v Speaker 2>like while we're live, so I can never tell people
<v Speaker 2>over on beat them ups that we're live. What what's
<v Speaker 2>a girl to do? You know what I mean to do?
<v Speaker 2>It's so frustrating. I want to I want to let
<v Speaker 2>the people know.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, I'm gonna I'm gonna log into your to your
<v Speaker 1>Twitter and actually pin this this tweet.
<v Speaker 2>I'm gonna try again here in like ten minutes. Also,
<v Speaker 2>Alexa set a timer for thirty minutes. Oh, sorry for
<v Speaker 2>everybody's Alexa that just went off. We forgot to do
<v Speaker 2>that before the show. Also, sorry for being a little late.
<v Speaker 2>We Oh, I realized I had to log into Xbox, PlayStation,
<v Speaker 2>Nintendo and everything everything, Yeah, so that we can do
<v Speaker 2>the year in reviews. And I figured the last thing
<v Speaker 2>people would want is for me to be trying to
<v Speaker 2>log in while I'm lyve. So sorry for being late,
<v Speaker 2>but trust me, it's worth it. Okay, and Kim, we
<v Speaker 2>haven't talked about this, you and I, you and me,
<v Speaker 2>and I hate to do it to him because I know. Look,
<v Speaker 2>I know people are sick of me putting switch to
<v Speaker 2>stuff in the title. I know, believe me, I'm sick
<v Speaker 2>of it too. But when the biggest I keep saying this,
<v Speaker 2>when the biggest news, every.
<v Speaker 3>Time it's the biggest news is nothing.
<v Speaker 2>Someone was sent a switch to. Oh, they were sent
<v Speaker 2>like a shell of a switch to. And they did
<v Speaker 2>a full breakdown. No, nest On YouTube did a full breakdown.
<v Speaker 2>You showed the joy cons, the magnetic joy Cons showed everything.
<v Speaker 2>It's a dummy, it's a dummy unit. He doesn't say
<v Speaker 2>it's a dummy unit. It doesn't turn on, but he
<v Speaker 2>lived that. And it's every leak that we've been following,
<v Speaker 2>every blurry, low resolution screenshot that we've been looking at
<v Speaker 2>of these joy consh everything is confirmed in this video
<v Speaker 2>that we're going to take a look at. On top
<v Speaker 2>of that, both Debrand and our lovely friends are over it.
<v Speaker 2>Satisfy have listed their switch to grips. You can now
<v Speaker 2>buy their switch to grips because they both know the
<v Speaker 2>dimensions of the switch and wouldn't you know it, it's
<v Speaker 2>the same dimensions as the nerd Nest guy's dummy unit.
<v Speaker 1>So it so we're we're we're closing in.
<v Speaker 2>They also have one, yes, but I don't know for Satisfy.
<v Speaker 2>I don't want to speak for Satisfy as Yeah, but
<v Speaker 2>as far as that's far, no, he wouldn't. As far
<v Speaker 2>as you can assume, if they're making grips and selling them,
<v Speaker 2>then they're pretty damn confident in the dimensions in the switch.
<v Speaker 2>The caveat here is both and we'll talk about it more,
<v Speaker 2>but both Dbrand and UH Satisfy when you go to
<v Speaker 2>their listings and we'll bring them up, they both say
<v Speaker 2>dimensions may change just to cover them because it's pre order, right,
<v Speaker 2>so they're going to ship them in like spring or
<v Speaker 2>whatever it is that they were.
<v Speaker 3>They just done the prototype. They haven't done like before.
<v Speaker 2>They've essentially they've got it and they can show you
<v Speaker 2>what it's going to Their grip's going to look like,
<v Speaker 2>but it might change a millimeter or two depending on
<v Speaker 2>what actually finalized is out of the warehouse for Nintendo.
<v Speaker 2>So but all that stuff aside, we looks like we
<v Speaker 2>can just look at the switch to now, So look
<v Speaker 2>at that.
<v Speaker 1>I haven't seen it everywhere. I'm excited.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, I mean it's something on Twitter or whatever, but
<v Speaker 3>I don't know if that's the.
<v Speaker 2>Real thing or yeah, that's it's apparently it's the real thing.
<v Speaker 2>I'm I mean again, and god, we can we might
<v Speaker 2>I mean, we might be wrong. You never know. But
<v Speaker 2>this isn't a three D print. This isn't something that
<v Speaker 2>you can easily mock up. This is something that has
<v Speaker 2>been produced in a warehouse somewhere that has been die cast,
<v Speaker 2>and like they've created like an actual product. So either
<v Speaker 2>it's an elaborate, thousands of dollars troll because it costs
<v Speaker 2>a lot of money to make. You gotta like to
<v Speaker 2>actually make a product. You can't just make like one
<v Speaker 2>because it's not worth it, right, cost thousands of dollars
<v Speaker 2>to make the die cast, to make the molds to
<v Speaker 2>make it, to make the product. So either it's an elaborate,
<v Speaker 2>very expensive troll that I'm not sure who exactly it's benefiting,
<v Speaker 2>like some random warehouse in China that are leaking it,
<v Speaker 2>like I'm not gonna get any money out.
<v Speaker 3>Of it, right No.
<v Speaker 2>Nonetheless, and a lot of these grips are pre orders,
<v Speaker 2>so they're not making money off of like a fake
<v Speaker 2>like because they're not going to sell it until they
<v Speaker 2>know who. So unless it's an elaborate troll, this is it. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>So I don't really know what else to believe, you know,
<v Speaker 2>at that point, I mean you got.
<v Speaker 1>To believe a certain point, right that like these yeah, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>it's well, it's cutting close to time, number one. And
<v Speaker 1>also the fact that like you know, like these these
<v Speaker 1>are are you good?
<v Speaker 2>Sorry? Combinated water? The bubbles will went up my nose.
<v Speaker 1>Sorry, They're getting close to the time. And also there's
<v Speaker 1>the fact that that these companies have to produce something
<v Speaker 1>for day one when the switch gets released, right, so
<v Speaker 1>like de Brand Satisfy. I mean, if they're gonna be
<v Speaker 1>putting anything out, they want to be the first to market.
<v Speaker 1>Then they got to know the dimensions and Nintendo's gonna
<v Speaker 1>give it to them. So I mean at a certain point,
<v Speaker 1>we got to know that the leagues are there, right, Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>Something it has to be real at some point, because
<v Speaker 3>you know, it's what we're coming up on. What do
<v Speaker 3>we think in March for this?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah? And that's another thing, like no smoke without fire,
<v Speaker 2>And you've seen so many leaks from different sources up
<v Speaker 2>the same thing. It's like, okay, well, at some point
<v Speaker 2>you know this is going to be it unless you know.
<v Speaker 2>And another thing, and I've talked to people about this,
<v Speaker 2>is that apparently a lot of these units have been
<v Speaker 2>ready to go for a while. So unless Nintendo has
<v Speaker 2>at some point shifted and changed their mind and there's
<v Speaker 2>been like fully produced units satin warehouses that are never
<v Speaker 2>going to see the light of day because they've changed gears,
<v Speaker 2>I mean, yeah, I mean we're looking at it. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I'm just going to try one more time here to
<v Speaker 2>share this to my main account because it's pulling my focus,
<v Speaker 2>and then after that I'm going to be done.
<v Speaker 1>This might work, yes, oh nice?
<v Speaker 3>The most anticipated console the date or is that just
<v Speaker 3>a thing because we talk about.
<v Speaker 2>Well, it's definitely, well it might feel That's what I mean.
<v Speaker 2>I think just because of the day and era that
<v Speaker 2>we're in now, where the internet is so he's accessible
<v Speaker 2>in so many different mediums and you can so we
<v Speaker 2>see snap a picture or something and post it even
<v Speaker 2>over like ten years.
<v Speaker 1>Ago, evidently only on a toaster though.
<v Speaker 2>Evidently only on a toaster camera potato camera. Yeah, for sure,
<v Speaker 2>I think. And also like we're in a day and
<v Speaker 2>age now where like everyone's trying to make a career
<v Speaker 2>out of online media, out of getting clicks, so everyone
<v Speaker 2>wants to be the person talking about it, leaking it,
<v Speaker 2>giving some sort of information on it. So yeah, I think, yes,
<v Speaker 2>I think it's the most coverage it's had because people
<v Speaker 2>know that people want to see it, right ye.
<v Speaker 3>Also yeah, but I don't remember it being quite as
<v Speaker 3>crazy when the switch.
<v Speaker 1>Kick closer to the mic.
<v Speaker 2>Kim, please, I'm sorry, Yeah, I don't mean honestly, I
<v Speaker 2>don't really recall. I wasn't as clued into the scene
<v Speaker 2>as I am now. You know, I was at that point,
<v Speaker 2>I was into retro games and I was messing around
<v Speaker 2>with my WIU and the switch was coming out, and
<v Speaker 2>I wasn't really covering and all my channel, so I
<v Speaker 2>wasn't following every little legal piece of information. I do
<v Speaker 2>remember there was like that weird mock up I don't
<v Speaker 2>know if I can find it quickly of an oval
<v Speaker 2>switch thing that went around Nintendo NX oval mock up.
<v Speaker 2>Let's see if I can find it oval. I want
<v Speaker 2>to see what that Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
<v Speaker 2>that was it. So this thing leaked, leaked, This was one.
<v Speaker 3>Of the old media players to have.
<v Speaker 2>That was supposedly for a while then Nintendo NX.
<v Speaker 3>That looks nothing like an Nintendo product.
<v Speaker 1>No, it's engaged. For me.
<v Speaker 2>At that time, it was kind of like, what is
<v Speaker 2>a Nintendo product? Like we knew Nintendo was doing something wacky.
<v Speaker 2>We just had the w U Pad. It wasn't too
<v Speaker 2>different to the WIU pad.
<v Speaker 3>What with the skin on it?
<v Speaker 2>You see that, No, that's the game. No on the
<v Speaker 2>that's the game. That's the thumbsticks were in the middle
<v Speaker 2>of the series. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, stupid. That was
<v Speaker 2>That was a big mock up leak for a while.
<v Speaker 2>And like this weird design thing too that somebody made. Yes, absolutely,
<v Speaker 2>that's that's the main thing. I remember people going a
<v Speaker 2>little crazy about. I don't think any I don't think
<v Speaker 2>a lot of people really believed it.
<v Speaker 1>But this was come from this.
<v Speaker 2>It's just it's what I mean, people just leaking things,
<v Speaker 2>just like one is it are you? Someone made it?
<v Speaker 2>Like graphically it keeps blacking out the screen. That's on you,
<v Speaker 2>my guy. It could be the connection or something, and
<v Speaker 2>the connection that you set up. I have a different
<v Speaker 2>cut away.
<v Speaker 3>Because fighting against.
<v Speaker 2>I need to be there to know if it's working,
<v Speaker 2>I'll unplug it and i'll plug it back in. All right,
<v Speaker 2>fair enough, I have a different adapter. If we it
<v Speaker 2>looked like it was, where what is this? Did you
<v Speaker 2>get this from me? No?
<v Speaker 1>That's mine? But if but but I have a different
<v Speaker 1>I have a different one of those, though, is what
<v Speaker 1>I'm saying.
<v Speaker 2>If we were well, yeah, now, but that's not what
<v Speaker 2>I was doing before.
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna swap back see if it's working. Sure, okay,
<v Speaker 1>there it is.
<v Speaker 2>Is it working now? I mean we could see it.
<v Speaker 2>You could see it right, Yeah, I can see it.
<v Speaker 2>But I didn't know what it was doing before.
<v Speaker 1>It was it was going black and then and then
<v Speaker 1>coming back and it goes I don't know. It's fine.
<v Speaker 3>Well, whoever made a listeners?
<v Speaker 2>How you do? How you going out?
<v Speaker 1>All right?
<v Speaker 2>Anyway, So let me cut away, let me see what
<v Speaker 2>we got here at the top of the show, and
<v Speaker 2>then we'll dive into it. We have a sponsored trade
<v Speaker 2>that's going to come up at some point. Do you
<v Speaker 2>want to start with a voicemail?
<v Speaker 1>We certainly can if you'd like to do you I
<v Speaker 1>have I have five lined up. You can play them
<v Speaker 1>on your end if you want. Just just hit me
<v Speaker 1>with one. That's fine.
<v Speaker 2>It's a nice, little, short, sweet one. It's holidays.
<v Speaker 1>It's the holidays.
<v Speaker 2>Also, we're doing we're doing a longer episode today and
<v Speaker 2>a longer hour long bonus episode, which Kim, you can
<v Speaker 2>join for as much as that as you want. Don't
<v Speaker 2>feel three hours of podcasting to not only make up
<v Speaker 2>for last week because Kim and I were both sick
<v Speaker 2>and I just couldn't do it, but because this might
<v Speaker 2>probably most likely be the final episode of the year,
<v Speaker 2>because next next week is literally Christmas and then January.
<v Speaker 2>I usually take the first week or two off, so
<v Speaker 2>I don't have a set date when the show's coming back.
<v Speaker 2>It'll probably be like mid January, probably whatever. The second
<v Speaker 2>Thursday is in January January. So we're gonna hit you
<v Speaker 2>with a lot of content today. I'm starting with this voicemail. Okay,
<v Speaker 2>let's see what we got in here. Uh short and
<v Speaker 2>sweet twenty two seconds.
<v Speaker 4>Hey, would I love your podcast?
<v Speaker 2>Please don't quit. I have a personal life question.
<v Speaker 4>I have a YouTube channel and it's still extremely small.
<v Speaker 4>But how did you manage having a full time job,
<v Speaker 4>a girlfriend, family, and still do YouTube at the same time.
<v Speaker 1>Were you just tired all the time like I am.
<v Speaker 2>I'd love to know they can keep.
<v Speaker 1>Up the awesmorts.
<v Speaker 2>Thanks so much for the voicemail and the question wife, well.
<v Speaker 3>Not even when you started, when I started.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's also the meme that she's your girlfriend still, right, So.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean, it depends on what point in the
<v Speaker 2>career you're talking about. I would say when when I
<v Speaker 2>was doing this for an actual job. We were married
<v Speaker 2>at that point, like you and I were together before that.
<v Speaker 2>It was a hobby that I was messing around with.
<v Speaker 2>And I say this to Kim all the time, but
<v Speaker 2>I remember when we were in that first house, the
<v Speaker 2>horrible house that we were in for ten months before
<v Speaker 2>it flooded. I would work NonStop. I didn't leave the house.
<v Speaker 2>We didn't go anywhere or do anything ever. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>we didn't really have much money. I worked, You worked,
<v Speaker 2>but we didn't like go on dates or anything. We
<v Speaker 2>went to ihop sometimes at night because our sleep schedule
<v Speaker 2>was messed up, loving and other. Yeah, and I would
<v Speaker 2>just make videos constantly. And one of the most intense
<v Speaker 2>things is like two years or three years in a
<v Speaker 2>row there with E three. I remember they would do
<v Speaker 2>all the conferences you'd have like eight or nine like
<v Speaker 2>Square Enix would do one, you'd be soft, Xbox whatever.
<v Speaker 2>And I would live stream these hour to two hour
<v Speaker 2>long conferences over three like three days, live stream them
<v Speaker 2>immediately and stream, create a video, reacting to them like
<v Speaker 2>a separate video, edit it, upload it, and then react
<v Speaker 2>to the next stream. And I would for three or
<v Speaker 2>four days. I wouldn't sleep. I would just be live
<v Speaker 2>and create video, live and create video. And I can't.
<v Speaker 2>I can't do that now. Like we watched one four
<v Speaker 2>hour long Game Awards. Granted that was sick, yeah, but
<v Speaker 2>I was like, there is no shot in hell. I
<v Speaker 2>would set everything up right now to make a video
<v Speaker 2>and then spend all night editing like I am dead.
<v Speaker 1>That's crazy to me, by the way. That schedule, Like
<v Speaker 1>I know Jordan was going through that for a while too,
<v Speaker 1>Like especially like he was doing fringements last year, He's
<v Speaker 1>doing one video every day.
<v Speaker 2>He did two videos videos.
<v Speaker 1>Each year channel. Yeah, it's nuts, stupid. I understand the schedule.
<v Speaker 2>It's a human. I mean, I was like five or
<v Speaker 2>six years younger you were. I'm in my mid thirties now.
<v Speaker 2>I mean I work like normal office hours at this point,
<v Speaker 2>I'll pull like seven to nine hour shifts to day
<v Speaker 2>through the week and that's it. And then like my
<v Speaker 2>biggest issue I used to have is not being able
<v Speaker 2>to stop a project I'm working on until I was done.
<v Speaker 2>So I would work until what five six in the morning.
<v Speaker 2>Sometimes I come to bed at ten am, just whenever
<v Speaker 2>it was done, it was done. Now and over the
<v Speaker 2>last like two or three years, I've gone a lot
<v Speaker 2>better at Oh it's one am, I should go to bed.
<v Speaker 2>I'll finish this tomorrow. You don't work on the weekend either,
<v Speaker 2>you know, I barely. I mean I've been I say
<v Speaker 2>I don't work on the weekend, but like I've been
<v Speaker 2>doing a lot of filming on Sundays. Recently we're not
<v Speaker 2>doing anything, but like I don't sit there editing. Now,
<v Speaker 2>I'll film a video if Zach needs something to edit. Yeah, anyway,
<v Speaker 2>answers be young.
<v Speaker 1>In time management. I will say. One interesting thing is
<v Speaker 1>that I remember last week when we we were just
<v Speaker 1>like setting up, not last week, the week before obviously
<v Speaker 1>we were setting up, and like you got a phone
<v Speaker 1>call from like your accountant or something or somebody, right, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>and you were just say and you said, I'm at work,
<v Speaker 1>and I'm like, that's so crazy for you to say
<v Speaker 1>I'm at work, but you're in your house, like you're
<v Speaker 1>just in your basement.
<v Speaker 2>I actually felt kind of bad about that too, because
<v Speaker 2>I was like so frustrated in the moment we were
<v Speaker 2>trying to set up and then my account was calling
<v Speaker 2>me and I was like, I'm at work right now,
<v Speaker 2>and he's like, oh okay. I was like, call me back, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>and then he never called me back.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, But I guess it sort of just highlights the
<v Speaker 1>separation that you have between like you know, have a
<v Speaker 1>separation between your personal life and then yeah.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, because that was an issue in the beginning for you.
<v Speaker 2>I have a separation now.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Also, now that everything's in the basement's way easy.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, that's a really good division too, if you can
<v Speaker 3>have it in a separate room. Before it was like
<v Speaker 3>you got.
<v Speaker 1>To talk into the mic.
<v Speaker 2>She's whispering again, Gary, all right, last thing, and then
<v Speaker 2>I want to just jump straight into looking at this
<v Speaker 2>switch to model video from nerd nest. This present isn't fake.
<v Speaker 2>Oh oh, I got you a Christmas present? Okay, all right,
<v Speaker 2>Jesus not easy to know. I bought this with my
<v Speaker 2>own money.
<v Speaker 1>Is it expensive?
<v Speaker 2>No, but you'll know what I mean and everyone else
<v Speaker 2>will know what I mean when you open end.
<v Speaker 3>Boy.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, they're Raycons. That's dope. Actually, I've been I was.
<v Speaker 1>I've been saying that my my AirPods crapped out on
<v Speaker 1>me and I wanted to try Raycons. So not sponsored,
<v Speaker 1>by the way. That's kind of what you're trying to
<v Speaker 1>get out of here, is that it's not.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I did use my own card. That's good.
<v Speaker 1>So it's a case, okay, is it it's not a
<v Speaker 1>protective case. Okay, so it protects it, okay.
<v Speaker 2>And then the charging cases well okay.
<v Speaker 1>And then there are these these are.
<v Speaker 2>Every day buds. Yeah, yeah, because I have a couple
<v Speaker 2>of because Raycon send them to me and him kept asking,
<v Speaker 2>you kept asking if you could have one, and I'm like,
<v Speaker 2>I've used them, dude, They've been in my ears. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>And you are like, I don't know, I don't care,
<v Speaker 2>and I was like, I kind of can't. That's kind
<v Speaker 2>of gross. Uh no, ye a fresh.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I guess if we're on the topic, right, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I got you a present too. It's not that big
<v Speaker 1>of a surprise. It's I also don't. I don't actually
<v Speaker 1>have them. I don't have it on me right now.
<v Speaker 1>But I have a picture. I posted this with the
<v Speaker 1>spoiler tag and the discord. If you want to pull
<v Speaker 1>it up, you can open and you already you probably
<v Speaker 1>already know like what it.
<v Speaker 2>Is at this I don't have any reference. Also, why
<v Speaker 2>can't I not pull up the bar at the bottom
<v Speaker 2>of this page?
<v Speaker 1>I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>Here we go.
<v Speaker 1>I got to use the go in the group chat.
<v Speaker 1>And then there's an image with a spoiler tag. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>it's gonna it's gonna spoil it for you, but I'll
<v Speaker 1>share this the screen once you have it.
<v Speaker 2>I'm trying to use this. I'm trying to use a mac.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know how.
<v Speaker 1>Hold on, I'm confused.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know how to open this picture. Hold on,
<v Speaker 2>all right, I got it?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, and then yeah, I know you can't like, I
<v Speaker 1>know you can't see what it is, but I'll tell
<v Speaker 1>you what. Can you open a browser window?
<v Speaker 2>Oh you don't want to, you don't want to show
<v Speaker 2>just go on.
<v Speaker 1>No, it's because my discords logged in. You didn't log
<v Speaker 1>in your own discourse.
<v Speaker 2>I showed it, all right.
<v Speaker 1>This is uh, this is every single plus a couple
<v Speaker 1>of duplicates, but every single one of the the Tears
<v Speaker 1>of the Kingdoms devices. They oh you're gonna get all well,
<v Speaker 1>you can get all them, I'll take I'll take the duplicates, right,
<v Speaker 1>you're gonna get all six of them.
<v Speaker 2>I'll thank you so much. That's sick because.
<v Speaker 1>You those oh no no said during the podcast, And
<v Speaker 1>I was gonna get them for that.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, she doesn't watch Big Fan, Big Fan, but.
<v Speaker 3>You can have the other set now you both, okay, doubles.
<v Speaker 2>That was well, thank you both of my life.
<v Speaker 1>I only said it today just because like I'm you know,
<v Speaker 1>I'm here, and I'm like, you know, like we're gonna
<v Speaker 1>miss Christmas and Hanukkah. Like for when I'm.
<v Speaker 2>Hey, I'll take double that I can open something and
<v Speaker 2>I can leave some sealed.
<v Speaker 3>Oh you can get like a little.
<v Speaker 2>You know how I am. Or if you don't have them,
<v Speaker 2>you can have something to.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, sure, I mean, I was just gonna take the duplicates.
<v Speaker 3>What they make something, don't they know?
<v Speaker 2>It's little pieces in the game. They make something. You
<v Speaker 2>put them on the fridge, magnets.
<v Speaker 1>I feel so I feel so bad.
<v Speaker 3>I know I feel bad. I should have known that
<v Speaker 3>you were going to do that.
<v Speaker 1>Damn.
<v Speaker 2>It's fine.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I have, I have, I have a guy on
<v Speaker 1>the inside, So that's what I.
<v Speaker 3>Got.
<v Speaker 1>Japan. Yeah, no, one of my mods. He lives in
<v Speaker 1>one of my Twitch rap and switch streamers Twitch TV's
<v Speaker 1>ham and chatter. No big deal, I'll show my lower third.
<v Speaker 1>But if you h but I have one of my mods.
<v Speaker 1>He lives in Japan, but he's American, so he's coming
<v Speaker 1>home for the holidays and he has to go to
<v Speaker 1>Tokyo to come home. He lives like up north, but
<v Speaker 1>he has to go to Tokyo to fight home. So
<v Speaker 1>he just stops at the Nintendo store wherever, and he
<v Speaker 1>grabs me. Shit if I ever asked for it on
<v Speaker 1>the way back.
<v Speaker 2>So well, hey, I'm happy either way because I get them.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Yeah, there you go.
<v Speaker 2>Thank you.
<v Speaker 1>You're welcome. You're welcome, thank you, thank you for the
<v Speaker 1>raycons chance.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, good, all right, let's dive. Let's dive straight into
<v Speaker 2>this before our sponsor Timer runs out hands on with
<v Speaker 2>the switch to model. This is coming at you from
<v Speaker 2>nerd Nest. That about a minute dialogue here at the start.
<v Speaker 2>Let's listen to what he says about.
<v Speaker 1>It this video.
<v Speaker 4>I went back and forth about it because I wasn't
<v Speaker 4>sure how realistic this would be. But a few weeks back,
<v Speaker 4>a company reached out to me that they make cases
<v Speaker 4>for video game hardware, like the Steam Deck and that
<v Speaker 4>kind of thing. And it's a company that I've worked
<v Speaker 4>with before. It's Eyeboler, all right. They reached out to
<v Speaker 4>me and they said, hey, we have a model of
<v Speaker 4>the Nintendo switch too, and we're we would love for
<v Speaker 4>you to have one. Do you want it? And I
<v Speaker 4>replied to them, yeah, if I make a video about
<v Speaker 4>the switch to.
<v Speaker 2>So I think I might have got the same email,
<v Speaker 2>and I just didn't realize because bro, because I checked
<v Speaker 2>on my email is a flooded man. You gotta you
<v Speaker 2>can who emails these days?
<v Speaker 1>Fucking everybody?
<v Speaker 2>But I checked. I checked my emails, and I did
<v Speaker 2>get a similar message from a company saying that they
<v Speaker 2>had a switch to model they wanted. But that was
<v Speaker 2>like I saw it yesterday and it was like December second,
<v Speaker 2>and I was like, oh, what about it.
<v Speaker 1>That's great. They're just allowed to give that out to
<v Speaker 1>like content creators like.
<v Speaker 2>So, I don't really I don't really understand what the
<v Speaker 2>situation is, but clearly a lot of these here's here's
<v Speaker 2>what's happened. I'll tell I'll tell you what's happened. I'm
<v Speaker 2>not going to tell you how. I know a warehouse
<v Speaker 2>in China that makes the switch to have shells and
<v Speaker 2>everything from the product. They have the product, they've just
<v Speaker 2>been selling it to people. Oh, they've been selling it
<v Speaker 2>to the highest he said. He said a company reached
<v Speaker 2>out to him though, Right, so this company bought it,
<v Speaker 2>made a model, right, sent the model. Yeah, that's what happened.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, but how are they making money though?
<v Speaker 2>Because he's This video has one hundred and thousand views
<v Speaker 2>and in the first ten seconds he mentions the company.
<v Speaker 3>They're going to get in trouble though, Well.
<v Speaker 2>No, because I'm telling you. He's not telling you. I'm
<v Speaker 2>telling you what happened.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, but what so what you're but aren't you basically
<v Speaker 1>accusing him of not of not what do you call it?
<v Speaker 1>Like like saying that something is sponsored content? Because if
<v Speaker 1>he's getting paid.
<v Speaker 2>For sponsored content, he just got what you're talking about free.
<v Speaker 1>So you're saying he just got it for free, then yes, okay,
<v Speaker 1>but that's that's that's my point though, is why how
<v Speaker 1>is this company then making money because.
<v Speaker 2>He just said the company's name in the first ten
<v Speaker 2>seconds in a video of the one hundred thousand views.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, so but he's so he's advertising for the company.
<v Speaker 1>Then that was that was quick quote said he's advertising
<v Speaker 1>the company.
<v Speaker 2>I'm sure it wasn't the contract. He's just saying whatever, dude, you.
<v Speaker 3>Know what he's just saying.
<v Speaker 2>D brand for example, Uh often throws around a lot
<v Speaker 2>of money. You remember I said they offered me ten
<v Speaker 2>thousand dollars to get my Zelda switch early, because their
<v Speaker 2>whole thing is f Nintendo like like the grip for
<v Speaker 2>their bring it up, the grip for their yeah cutaway.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know you were still on this. It's called
<v Speaker 2>kill switch to everything they do is like like a
<v Speaker 2>cheeky like kill switch or screw the switch or whatever
<v Speaker 2>whatever whatever. And they wanted to do one with my
<v Speaker 2>Zelder switch because they wanted to exact color match the
<v Speaker 2>Zelder switch that they could create skins that looked exactly
<v Speaker 2>like it, and they wanted to have it day one,
<v Speaker 2>so people had like a ten dollar way of getting
<v Speaker 2>that switch rather than a you know, having to buy
<v Speaker 2>the switch. I'm showing it.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I don't know that. Can you not see my screen? No?
<v Speaker 1>Not unless.
<v Speaker 2>So, yeah, this is uh D brands kill switch to
<v Speaker 2>so again to reiterate, the Chinese warehouse is just selling
<v Speaker 2>the frame, the models, the mock ups, the whatever from
<v Speaker 2>the warehouse to companies like D Brand, and then D
<v Speaker 2>Brand is make king. Let me say, allegedly, allegedly in
<v Speaker 2>my theory, in my guess, I'm making a skin or
<v Speaker 2>a or a case or what have you.
<v Speaker 3>I don't know what the bungee cords are for, but.
<v Speaker 2>It's something about that case has like a removable part.
<v Speaker 2>So I don't know. I actually kind of hate it,
<v Speaker 2>actually kind of don't think it's very cute.
<v Speaker 1>Are you? Is there?
<v Speaker 2>Oh, hormo the top of the hour, every every top
<v Speaker 2>of the hour, give you three hearts or the heart
<v Speaker 2>for every hour. Okay, you're still on You're still on
<v Speaker 2>my screen.
<v Speaker 1>Dog, you're not telling me when you're switching. He can't
<v Speaker 1>remember the first right now, let's do this right now.
<v Speaker 2>The first time I fired.
<v Speaker 1>You, Yeah, I remember, it was because.
<v Speaker 2>You were sat on the screen while we were talking
<v Speaker 2>the whole time, and like nothing was being okay.
<v Speaker 1>But that's I learned from that Okay, this is different.
<v Speaker 2>This is different. Talking for so long, I'm like, surely
<v Speaker 2>he's pulled away by now.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, there's a lot under said. Let's let's talk about this.
<v Speaker 1>You understand is not going on because somebody and Chad
<v Speaker 1>was saying there is an issue with the with the
<v Speaker 1>volume of the thing you were playing before. So I
<v Speaker 1>was trying to make sure that the audio was okay. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>So I messaged asked if the audio was okay. So
<v Speaker 1>that's you on Christmas. Christmas, I'm gonna call him. There's
<v Speaker 1>gonna be hate crimes accused of.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, although what does it matter to you?
<v Speaker 1>What does it matter? You don't like Chris, whatever, it
<v Speaker 1>doesn't matter. You put up a minora on the monitor.
<v Speaker 1>Couldn't even be bothered to get a physical one act.
<v Speaker 2>You to bring one. I assumed you had one.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't.
<v Speaker 3>Have that one hand.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I just carry around the popular Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>When he gets born. No, no, anyway, sorry about that.
<v Speaker 2>Sorry about the racism. It is what it is, a
<v Speaker 2>little bit of that on the holiday special problem.
<v Speaker 1>We're getting demonetized apparently for beginning of the episodes.
<v Speaker 2>Alright, we're going back to go on, so essentially a
<v Speaker 2>company just a picture like this, A company like the
<v Speaker 2>brand has sent them a a one for one mock
<v Speaker 2>up model of the product.
<v Speaker 3>The joy corns are inside like that.
<v Speaker 2>In side like that.
<v Speaker 5>What do you mean any h here you go?
<v Speaker 3>I mean the little the little.
<v Speaker 1>Look at the right joy con first there we go.
<v Speaker 2>What are you trying to say?
<v Speaker 3>This bit a little doo hickey. It's not out.
<v Speaker 2>I don't understand what you see.
<v Speaker 1>I don't understand either.
<v Speaker 3>This sticks out that was not sticking out?
<v Speaker 2>What this a little the thumb stick? I think it does.
<v Speaker 2>I think it's a weird angle.
<v Speaker 1>I hope it does, because if it's like a flat
<v Speaker 1>thumbstick that just kind.
<v Speaker 2>Of looks yeah, I think it's just the camera.
<v Speaker 1>And then it's got our face.
<v Speaker 3>You can see, okay, it looks about to say all right.
<v Speaker 1>Z L and our z R.
<v Speaker 2>So he actually in the video talks about this little
<v Speaker 2>trigger and his theory, and he's also saying that he
<v Speaker 2>felt like the joy cons come apart too easily with
<v Speaker 2>the magnet, and so he thinks it is a locking
<v Speaker 2>mechanism and that there's some kind of thing that locks
<v Speaker 2>them in place more securely that you need to press
<v Speaker 2>down on that trigger to release them. I still think
<v Speaker 2>that trigger looks way too big. It's like it's a
<v Speaker 2>button for something like that. Maybe it has a double use.
<v Speaker 2>Maybe it's magic and it not only releases it but
<v Speaker 2>also can be used as a trigger once it's released.
<v Speaker 2>Now talk about.
<v Speaker 1>The joy Cons. Let's look at the right joy con first.
<v Speaker 1>There we go.
<v Speaker 3>It's weird watching him just rip it off the side
<v Speaker 3>like that.
<v Speaker 2>I know it did seem like it took a bit
<v Speaker 2>of force for him to take it off there, gave
<v Speaker 2>a gave like a he did give a little. Also,
<v Speaker 2>there's a USB slot at the top now too, which
<v Speaker 2>means me on the top and one at the bottom.
<v Speaker 2>My first hope there is that my witcher VR glasses
<v Speaker 2>that I like using will actually work natively.
<v Speaker 3>And maybe switch now for accessories.
<v Speaker 2>Well you'd assume it's for accessories. I don't know why
<v Speaker 2>else they would have to.
<v Speaker 3>And also it's right next the Nintendo.
<v Speaker 1>Switch characters which looks.
<v Speaker 2>Around the well I guess it is. There's one on them.
<v Speaker 2>There's a whole here too, so I don't know if
<v Speaker 2>it's ORCS or not on that. Yeah, I'm not sure.
<v Speaker 1>The size as a traditional switch, so let me look.
<v Speaker 2>That's how much bigger it is?
<v Speaker 3>Switch next to it?
<v Speaker 1>That is big.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's big.
<v Speaker 1>It's a big boy.
<v Speaker 3>It's like the size of that other thing, the white
<v Speaker 3>one in the MICI that I was just about one
<v Speaker 3>called that you have. That's the large one, the handheld.
<v Speaker 1>Did she change anything then, huh yeah, fine, larger what
<v Speaker 1>the handheld console?
<v Speaker 3>The white one that the place?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean I think it's gonna be
<v Speaker 2>a little smaller than that, just because it's thinner.
<v Speaker 3>And how heavy is it going to be?
<v Speaker 2>I don't know, But it being a little bigger is
<v Speaker 2>good because obviously it's a bigger screen and there's just
<v Speaker 2>a little bit more chance to cram just a bit
<v Speaker 2>more hardware inside the device, which could ultimately lead to,
<v Speaker 2>you know, a lot of things more. It could be
<v Speaker 2>more storage, it could mean more GPU, it could mean
<v Speaker 2>more and it could mean more a lot of things,
<v Speaker 2>more space, it's just more room to play with.
<v Speaker 1>Also, from this angle, those joy cons, they kind of
<v Speaker 1>do look like the ones that we saw from the
<v Speaker 1>League from last week.
<v Speaker 2>That's the same triggers and then it's the same like
<v Speaker 2>one little button. True, So yeah, here he goes again. Also,
<v Speaker 2>they're a bit more of like a oval shape.
<v Speaker 3>Now, I was gonna ask if they're more round or
<v Speaker 3>if it was just my imagination, but they are more round.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's almost like like it almost like an oval
<v Speaker 2>slant down or maybe just more like rounded, I don't know.
<v Speaker 3>Look smaller at the bottom.
<v Speaker 2>I do think that while subtle, if you now look
<v Speaker 2>at the old switch, the old switch almost looks like
<v Speaker 2>two square, like almost like a bit more of like
<v Speaker 2>an older like square look, where the new one has
<v Speaker 2>like a nicer, bigger, rounder look. And it's funny because
<v Speaker 2>when I was designing my perfect switch to one of
<v Speaker 2>the things I asked all of my three D designers
<v Speaker 2>to try and do, and some of them took it
<v Speaker 2>way too far to a point where it looked ridiculous.
<v Speaker 2>Was try and round it out because I just had
<v Speaker 2>a theory in my head. I was like, I think
<v Speaker 2>it's just gonna look a bit more rounded, because I
<v Speaker 2>think that looks a bit more like futuristic and sleek
<v Speaker 2>and sets it apart over the joy cons, which are
<v Speaker 2>essentially a like a straight rectangle with the corners rounded off,
<v Speaker 2>whereas this looks almost more like any.
<v Speaker 1>Can I be real what I think it looks boring.
<v Speaker 2>I think it's well, yeah, it looks almost the same.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, I'm talking about an extra button in.
<v Speaker 3>A Now, what's the extra button gonna do?
<v Speaker 2>No idea.
<v Speaker 1>I don't like how I don't like how how like
<v Speaker 1>rounded the joy Con. I feel like that. I wish
<v Speaker 1>the joy Cons were a little bit more square. Alex
<v Speaker 1>Oh also Bob's and chat.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, Hi, what's he saying?
<v Speaker 1>He said, Oh shit, Bill on Nintendo podcast?
<v Speaker 2>Is this Bill?
<v Speaker 1>Hi?
<v Speaker 2>Bill? I just looks like I know him a nod nest.
<v Speaker 2>He looks like me and my last thumbnail.
<v Speaker 3>I was gonna say that looks like what you were
<v Speaker 3>talking about growing your beard out. You're just gonna be
<v Speaker 3>that guy.
<v Speaker 2>I do want to grow my bed out. So shout out, Bill,
<v Speaker 2>and thank you as well for letting us react to
<v Speaker 2>your video. And I'm saying that on the hindsight because
<v Speaker 2>I did not ask permission.
<v Speaker 1>So again, this is just a shell that we're looking
<v Speaker 1>at right now. By the way, somebody sent a super
<v Speaker 1>chat earlier All Star Plush Studio said said that they
<v Speaker 1>hope that the joy Cons aren't white because then it's
<v Speaker 1>too much like the Led.
<v Speaker 2>Now I said the same thing. I said the same
<v Speaker 2>thing when I because I did speak to somebody about
<v Speaker 2>this and I asked them, what color do you think
<v Speaker 2>it'll be somebody who may or may not have shells,
<v Speaker 2>And they said white, and I was like, man, I
<v Speaker 2>kind of wish then that when they released the O
<v Speaker 2>lead they didn't do white. Yeah, because it's kind of
<v Speaker 2>ruined it because now just it just feels like another upgrade.
<v Speaker 1>Of the lead.
<v Speaker 2>But also what color is left because with the joy
<v Speaker 2>Con they released the colors, all the colors, really.
<v Speaker 3>I just think they should have done red.
<v Speaker 2>That No, I don't know, I don't know. I think
<v Speaker 2>the first one they've done, they've done read so many
<v Speaker 2>times they did. They did Mario Edition overlead and they
<v Speaker 2>did that twice.
<v Speaker 3>All the other consoles, all the other handhelds are like
<v Speaker 3>black or white. There's no like colorful.
<v Speaker 1>Well, yeah, there's the blue and red. What about like
<v Speaker 1>a deep urbon fiber, you know something.
<v Speaker 2>You went like a sick way that'd be pretty cool.
<v Speaker 2>But I mean it seems like white. I don't know. Again,
<v Speaker 2>that could change. That's an easy thing to change.
<v Speaker 3>But I mean there's going to be more colors. They're
<v Speaker 3>always going to come out with more colors. That's just
<v Speaker 3>what they do.
<v Speaker 2>But like, so on top of that, and if you're like, well,
<v Speaker 2>well that's just a model that some company has sent,
<v Speaker 2>that's I mean, that is fine. But again you will
<v Speaker 2>look at if you want to cut to me, you
<v Speaker 2>will look at both Satisfy and Dbrand selling their pre
<v Speaker 2>orders already for their grips after I suppose allegedly having
<v Speaker 2>received from these alleged Chinese warehouses the models, and I mean,
<v Speaker 2>you have the extra button here, you have the shape
<v Speaker 2>that we see over here in this video. I mean
<v Speaker 2>that they are also selling a product. And there's other
<v Speaker 2>places too that align with this. So I mean it's
<v Speaker 2>a lot. I know, nothing's beneficial from Nintendo, but when
<v Speaker 2>Nintendo says they're going to reveal and show you this
<v Speaker 2>thing by March, and at this point where three months
<v Speaker 2>away and every leak we've had is pointing to this
<v Speaker 2>and literally nothing else unless this is the biggest redirect
<v Speaker 2>misdirect in the world. And then if it was actually
<v Speaker 2>kept this secret, that would be cool for them. It
<v Speaker 2>would be it would be it'd be awesome. Honestly, I
<v Speaker 2>want that just because it would be awesome, and I
<v Speaker 2>hate having things ruined for in advance. But I mean,
<v Speaker 2>I think we're looking at.
<v Speaker 1>It, you know what. You know it's somebody in chat said,
<v Speaker 1>and I kind of I funk with this, right, I said,
<v Speaker 1>for the joy Cons black with red buttons, that would
<v Speaker 1>go hard. That'd be sick for me. I like that, right.
<v Speaker 1>It kind of reminds me of like the YouTube iPod
<v Speaker 1>back in the day, you know, remember that ship. What
<v Speaker 1>are you doing over their budd?
<v Speaker 2>I'm just gonna put the link in a discord chat
<v Speaker 2>so I can bring it up. Sorry, I wasn't listening
<v Speaker 2>to what you just said, Bob texted.
<v Speaker 1>I said, somebody somebody in chat said, uh, they said
<v Speaker 1>black joy Cons with red buttons would go hard, And
<v Speaker 1>I agree, Oh you could do something like that, different
<v Speaker 1>color buttons.
<v Speaker 2>I think is a fun way to.
<v Speaker 3>Do it instead, because they've already done the shells the
<v Speaker 3>other color to reverse.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Also, I want to say quickly, I had this theory.
<v Speaker 2>Let me, uh, where was that image of the switch
<v Speaker 2>and the switch too, because I had like something that
<v Speaker 2>I wanted to say about it that I think is
<v Speaker 2>gonna is gonna hit hard.
<v Speaker 1>Here.
<v Speaker 2>Let me cut away for a second because I want
<v Speaker 2>to reveal I want to reveal my thing.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, the suspense is killing me.
<v Speaker 2>It leans into a theory I had.
<v Speaker 1>Oh by the way, if we're taking a minute, here
<v Speaker 1>shouts out Rossoli with a five dollars super chat.
<v Speaker 2>That's my boy, Ladies and gentlemen of the jury. All right,
<v Speaker 2>I would like to present to you an argument that
<v Speaker 2>I have had for a long time. I would like
<v Speaker 2>to direct your attention to the screen. Right here we
<v Speaker 2>have what is supposedly the new switch on top, rounded edges,
<v Speaker 2>much more oval shape. I think we have at the
<v Speaker 2>bottom the old switch, a much more square design. Right
<v Speaker 2>what's the name of the switch to? Is it switch
<v Speaker 2>To or is it Nintendo Super Switch? Ladies and gentlemen,
<v Speaker 2>I like to reduce you to the square nes controller
<v Speaker 2>and the more rounded Super Nintendo Controller.
<v Speaker 1>Interesting, the switch.
<v Speaker 2>Was going back to Nintendo's roots as a company and
<v Speaker 2>taking all their designs and all of their ideas into
<v Speaker 2>one console, making the Nintendo Switch. Where do you go
<v Speaker 2>from that? Where do you go from the first real
<v Speaker 2>big hit and innovation in the gaming space since the
<v Speaker 2>ne E s When you make a sequel to that console,
<v Speaker 2>the super Super Nintendo Switch?
<v Speaker 3>I think great? But now I want the joy crins
<v Speaker 3>to look like the buttons.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's I was just saying the same thing. I
<v Speaker 1>was just saying it go back to go back to
<v Speaker 1>the other.
<v Speaker 2>Screw you guys.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sorry we're still talking about.
<v Speaker 3>What you should do the controllers like that, because think
<v Speaker 3>about it, PlayStation did a throwback thing. They could do
<v Speaker 3>the button.
<v Speaker 2>That's actually why you reminded me of bringing up this argument,
<v Speaker 2>because I was like, oh, what if they did the buttons?
<v Speaker 2>As so excited because if it was this, like even
<v Speaker 2>this white design, but the buttons were green, blue and yellow, red,
<v Speaker 2>purple for the NTSC for sure. Yeah, So now I'm
<v Speaker 2>even more doubled down on my theory. That's going to
<v Speaker 2>be called super switch. I think I think it's it's
<v Speaker 2>such a sick name. Also, Nintendo has never done like
<v Speaker 2>a numbering thing, and that really is PlayStations thing at
<v Speaker 2>this point, So why like fall into line with what
<v Speaker 2>other people are doing.
<v Speaker 1>Super switches is super clear.
<v Speaker 3>I think it has a name, and they're just not
<v Speaker 3>saying it yet. They're just saying switch to because they
<v Speaker 3>don't want tell you.
<v Speaker 2>Well, no, they haven't even said anything. Nintendo hasn't said
<v Speaker 2>the only thing Intendo has said is that the next
<v Speaker 2>generation console will be backwards compatible and they will reveal
<v Speaker 2>it before the end of March.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, so they haven't even said.
<v Speaker 2>They say switched successor Yeah, I'm here for Switch.
<v Speaker 1>I'm here for switch too. I am yeah, yeah, switch
<v Speaker 1>to I'm here Sorry, super swisch, I'm here for super Switch.
<v Speaker 1>Get it right, my fotog Kim, could you like squeeze
<v Speaker 1>in a little bit on the edge of the shot.
<v Speaker 2>This is what Bob deemed so important he pulled a
<v Speaker 2>scoot on me during mid episode. No I'm kidding. I
<v Speaker 2>love it when Bob messages Lenovo Legion cross a m D.
<v Speaker 2>This is a tweet from Warrior sixty four. The Future
<v Speaker 2>of Gaming Handhelds will feature a special guest Valve Steam
<v Speaker 2>OS and Steam Deck code designer Perry Loop blah blah
<v Speaker 2>blah blah. This is a Lenovo Legion handheld that runs
<v Speaker 2>on Steam OS, which is very interesting, very unique. Also,
<v Speaker 2>a part of the reason why Bob sent this to
<v Speaker 2>me is because and I don't I don't know if
<v Speaker 2>I'm gonna go or if we're gonna go, but I
<v Speaker 2>was invited for an all expenses paid trip to Vegas
<v Speaker 2>January seventh to Vegas to go to CES some like
<v Speaker 2>big tech show that before. Yeah, and I was telling
<v Speaker 2>Bob about it, and Bob had interest in going. And
<v Speaker 2>this says January seventh here for this, which I'm assuming
<v Speaker 2>that would be something that we could play around with
<v Speaker 2>if we went to Vegas. That's true, you know me
<v Speaker 2>in flying and that's right after Christmas. I don't know
<v Speaker 2>about all that. It would be interesting.
<v Speaker 1>You'd have to fly out on the sixth, probably, oh,
<v Speaker 1>okay something. You can't go to the We can't go
<v Speaker 1>to the Capitol.
<v Speaker 2>No, oh no. I actually I asked them to make
<v Speaker 2>my flight January seventh in the morning because we can
<v Speaker 2>get to DC and back and.
<v Speaker 1>Like, yeah, we can fly from DC. Actually we could
<v Speaker 1>do that.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, that would be actually really easy and we could
<v Speaker 2>do a bang bang.
<v Speaker 1>Bang bang bang bang quick storm of the Capitol and
<v Speaker 1>then go.
<v Speaker 2>To whoha, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. I wasn't talking about that.
<v Speaker 1>What were you talking about? So this Lenovo thing was.
<v Speaker 2>That's what Bob texted me.
<v Speaker 3>I like, how round it is?
<v Speaker 2>Actually cut away because there was something else that Bob
<v Speaker 2>texted me earlier today as well, and it's probably worth
<v Speaker 2>bringing that up because it was already in my notes. Anyway,
<v Speaker 2>he sent me a TikTok of something very important in
<v Speaker 2>the gaming space. Yeah you can, yeah, yeah headline.
<v Speaker 1>Imagine not being into gaming and seeing this headline.
<v Speaker 2>Gooner nine to eleven averted. A technology is rolled back
<v Speaker 2>in the face of outrage, and they said gaming journalism
<v Speaker 2>was dead.
<v Speaker 1>And look, I wish I didn't understand this headline.
<v Speaker 2>Free me from this hell.
<v Speaker 3>Anyways, here are the tweets and video that inspired the
<v Speaker 3>Peasy Gamer article you.
<v Speaker 2>Can't see butts and new Sunless updates. Let's take a
<v Speaker 2>look at this character. Model disappeared when you tried to
<v Speaker 2>look at the butt, But I have great nose. They
<v Speaker 2>already fixed it. They already reversed the decision. You can
<v Speaker 2>now look at the sorry.
<v Speaker 3>They made it.
<v Speaker 1>Wait, hold on, is that a tweet that that long
<v Speaker 1>about about?
<v Speaker 2>Yes, it's very it was June to nine to eleven.
<v Speaker 1>That's crazy. That's first of all, I'm here for the
<v Speaker 1>branding on that. Can you pause the video what he
<v Speaker 1>said in the middle talking about it, You're fired.
<v Speaker 2>It's funny this guy, Actually, he looks like somebody will
<v Speaker 2>be very upset about that. Video about not being able
<v Speaker 2>to see why Fu.
<v Speaker 1>Butts fair valid true? I believe that.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, cutaway crisis a verdict.
<v Speaker 1>I'm just gonna start reading your mind. Okay, we're gonna
<v Speaker 1>We're gonna get the Elon musk implant for Teleken.
<v Speaker 2>I've got one more thing, I think in the switch
<v Speaker 2>to realm before we can move on to our year
<v Speaker 2>end reviews.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, don't you have to do the thing the alarm was?
<v Speaker 1>See we keep her around?
<v Speaker 2>I almost completely forgotten.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, very important.
<v Speaker 2>Actually, yeah, we need to get sponsor music.
<v Speaker 1>I mean I could just play you know, we could
<v Speaker 1>just do that.
<v Speaker 2>No, I don't want that related to chilling, you know. No,
<v Speaker 2>we need to get sponsor music. So this is more fun.
<v Speaker 2>All right, bring it up, hi, everybody. This episode of
<v Speaker 2>the episode, this.
<v Speaker 1>Episode hold on, Take two, Take two, Take two, all right,
<v Speaker 1>ready three two?
<v Speaker 3>One?
<v Speaker 2>Ag Well edit that out? Ye, hi, everybody. This episode
<v Speaker 2>of the show is sponsored by Trade Coffee. And we
<v Speaker 2>actually got a fresh bag in today. We were supposed
<v Speaker 2>to do this last week, but I didn't have a
<v Speaker 2>fresh bag.
<v Speaker 1>Hey, let me smell that, dude.
<v Speaker 2>It couldn't be any more fresh.
<v Speaker 3>Literally, you got dropped off this morning.
<v Speaker 2>Out of the mail this morning. So let me see,
<v Speaker 2>let me see how fresh this is. Proved me wrong.
<v Speaker 2>I like that this was roasted on December tenth.
<v Speaker 1>What's the day, nineteenth, nine days.
<v Speaker 2>Ago, nine days ago. I wonder where it came from, Seattle,
<v Speaker 2>So yeah, it did have to make it across the country. Oh,
<v Speaker 2>Seattle coffee, though, that's exciting. I don't think they've I
<v Speaker 2>think they've sent Seattle coffee in a while.
<v Speaker 3>They send you New York that smells so good.
<v Speaker 2>Sorry, I'm just I forgot that. The ego very nice.
<v Speaker 2>All right, everybody, we've all been there scrambling for a
<v Speaker 2>last minute gift that doesn't feel last minute with That's
<v Speaker 2>what I was going to do for your mom. I
<v Speaker 2>was going to get a trade coffee.
<v Speaker 3>Oh.
<v Speaker 2>I've been trying to figure out the last week what
<v Speaker 2>I'm getting her, and I just remember that's what I
<v Speaker 2>was going to do. Oh, problem solved. You can send
<v Speaker 2>a coffee subscription directly to somebody's Inboox in minutes. It's fast, easy,
<v Speaker 2>and guaranteed to impress. No other gift gives them something
<v Speaker 2>to look forward to every single morning.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>I had this thought last time, but I had no
<v Speaker 2>idea what to get my mother in law. It's a
<v Speaker 2>bit difficult, but she does like coffee, and that's perfect.
<v Speaker 2>I'll give her that perfect give for especially if you're
<v Speaker 2>running out of time like I am.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, or if you need a starking stuff for that'll
<v Speaker 3>probably fit.
<v Speaker 2>I'm running out of time. Trades coffee descriptions are the
<v Speaker 2>perfect remedy for those last minute panic attack moments. It's
<v Speaker 2>so funny. I'm having one right now and it's not
<v Speaker 2>not part of the read. It's quick for you, but
<v Speaker 2>for them, it's a gift they'll be talking about all years.
<v Speaker 2>She probably will too. A trade subscription isn't just coffee,
<v Speaker 2>it's an experience. Every month you'll get new, freshly roasted
<v Speaker 2>coffee perfectly matched to their taste from a top small
<v Speaker 2>bats roasters in the USA. So yeah, we talked about
<v Speaker 2>this a lot. But when I first signed up, at
<v Speaker 2>this point it was like three years ago.
<v Speaker 1>Longer two or three years ago.
<v Speaker 2>I've been doing trail. We were doing it in the
<v Speaker 2>last house, I know, because when we moved, I forgot well,
<v Speaker 2>I forgot to switch my subscription, and so for a
<v Speaker 2>few months I was like, where's my coffee? And then
<v Speaker 2>I realized that someone that bought the old house was
<v Speaker 2>probably getting to list this free coffee every week. I
<v Speaker 2>hope they knew how to grind it and they weren't
<v Speaker 2>messing it up.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>When you first sign up, you do a quiz and
<v Speaker 2>it's like a like five things. It just asks you
<v Speaker 2>if you want whole beans or grounded beans, what kind
<v Speaker 2>of flavor profiles you like, how strong you like your coffee,
<v Speaker 2>and now match you with coffee to your taste. And
<v Speaker 2>then every month you can see what they're going to
<v Speaker 2>send you. You can change it if you want to
<v Speaker 2>try something else, So you can just let it ride
<v Speaker 2>and see what turns up. Like a little gift that
<v Speaker 2>you didn't know you were getting. I love it. You
<v Speaker 2>can also add coffee. You can also pour subscriptions. You
<v Speaker 2>can slow them down. Sometimes I've slowed them down. Uh
<v Speaker 2>you Also there's decaf options on there, there's everything. Trade
<v Speaker 2>takes the guess rock out of gifting. Yeah, so, I
<v Speaker 2>mean Trade is really trying to push this as a
<v Speaker 2>gift right now, because we're in December, and I got
<v Speaker 2>to tell you I am actually going to do it
<v Speaker 2>as a gift. Please remind me. I will remb because
<v Speaker 2>I've completely forgot about that. And the last thing I'll
<v Speaker 2>say is just getting freshly roasted beans to your door
<v Speaker 2>is so much better than going to a grocery store
<v Speaker 2>and buying a bag of beans. That's been said. I
<v Speaker 2>love Kim with all my heart, but she used to
<v Speaker 2>come home with beans from my Home Goods and TJ
<v Speaker 2>Max and it was honestly wending up carboard. But she
<v Speaker 2>was like, it's a pumpkin spice.
<v Speaker 3>It maybe used to be a year ago.
<v Speaker 2>I'm such a snob, it's funny. I also, I got
<v Speaker 2>caught a coffee snob the other day. I was playing
<v Speaker 2>games with Kip and we were talking and he was like, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I've had three energy drinks today and I was like,
<v Speaker 2>you should try coffee. And his friend was like, oh,
<v Speaker 2>I forgot woods was a coffee snob. And I was like,
<v Speaker 2>that's okay. I'm okay with that. Actually, you have a brevel.
<v Speaker 2>You're a coffee snob. Revel is don't you have a
<v Speaker 2>brevel up there?
<v Speaker 3>Pretty sure you got offended when he said that if.
<v Speaker 1>You don't know what brand coffee maker you have, you're
<v Speaker 1>not a coffee snob. Then I take a bag.
<v Speaker 3>I don't know what brand you had. I know you
<v Speaker 3>used to have one. It was a smaller one, but
<v Speaker 3>well you got that big fat one.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know what for some reason when you said Brevell,
<v Speaker 2>like like those little like k cup pod cups things
<v Speaker 2>him into my head and I was like, excuse me,
<v Speaker 2>that's a creche. Ye, my brain did it? My brain
<v Speaker 2>did it?
<v Speaker 1>Twist?
<v Speaker 3>Is that a bad brain?
<v Speaker 2>Conversely, a kid's wife the first time we went around there,
<v Speaker 2>she was said, do you want your coffee? Because you
<v Speaker 2>knew I like coffee? And I was like yeah, and
<v Speaker 2>she made me one of those like cake.
<v Speaker 5>Coff likee him not to lose his mind?
<v Speaker 2>Was she was? He could tell. She was like, do
<v Speaker 2>you like it?
<v Speaker 1>I was like, take it back again? You are a
<v Speaker 1>coffee Now.
<v Speaker 2>Ready to cross that last gift off your lift list?
<v Speaker 2>Traders offering the best savings of the year on gift
<v Speaker 2>subscriptions right now, So head to drink Trade dot com
<v Speaker 2>forward slash nontendo to send a personalized coffee subscription in minutes.
<v Speaker 2>That's drink Trade dot com forward slash nontendo. You can
<v Speaker 2>send someone a gift, or you can get a free
<v Speaker 2>bag of coffee yourself. If you don't even let me.
<v Speaker 2>Just just get it yourself, if you will. All right,
<v Speaker 2>thank you, Thanks Trade for sponsoring, thank you for listening.
<v Speaker 2>All right. The last thing I wanted to show was
<v Speaker 2>this tweet that got thirty thousand likes, which actually shows
<v Speaker 2>a concept of a plan for the dock. Oh so this,
<v Speaker 2>this is something that you're going to have to take
<v Speaker 2>my word for, okay, or don't.
<v Speaker 1>I shouts out, by the way, for the concepts of
<v Speaker 1>a plan. Little I know that you were. I know
<v Speaker 1>that you're looking for validation on that one I got.
<v Speaker 2>I appreciate. I appreciate it. Allegedly, when I spoke to
<v Speaker 2>somebody who's involved in this and has seen the Chinese
<v Speaker 2>warehouse leaks, I asked them about the dock. They said,
<v Speaker 2>I haven't seen it, but I've heard. I've been told
<v Speaker 2>it's shorter and kind of round.
<v Speaker 3>It looks like a hot dog bun.
<v Speaker 2>Well, before we get there, here's an image that was
<v Speaker 2>tweeted out by a deck wizard. Now this is clearly
<v Speaker 2>I think photo shopped.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, because it has switched to on it.
<v Speaker 2>So that's it is so like chunky.
<v Speaker 3>That doesn't even look like the right switch either. It
<v Speaker 3>doesn't that looks at the old.
<v Speaker 2>Joy cons and also the joy cons I think old
<v Speaker 2>joy cons that they've stretched. So I think what this
<v Speaker 2>is is somebody that knows what it looks looks like
<v Speaker 2>and they've used the old switch and they've done their
<v Speaker 2>best at like a this is what this thing is
<v Speaker 2>going to look at, and I've kind of photoshopped it together.
<v Speaker 1>Also both of them, for bold of them to assume
<v Speaker 1>that it's going to be on while it's in the dock,
<v Speaker 1>and for it to perfectly match up the time in
<v Speaker 1>battery life so that you can see it while it's.
<v Speaker 2>While they're well settle down. So if if this is
<v Speaker 2>what it looks like, and this is what I've been
<v Speaker 2>told that it does look like, the only reason I
<v Speaker 2>could see to do this is to have half of
<v Speaker 2>that screen revealed so that you could put the time
<v Speaker 2>on it. And then obviously you know Nintendo, Nintendo would
<v Speaker 2>design that widget, so it was.
<v Speaker 3>I mean, that would be cool. Nice.
<v Speaker 2>So this is just a mock up, But obviously it's
<v Speaker 2>a mock up or a leak coming from somewhere that
<v Speaker 2>has seen it, or at least that this is what
<v Speaker 2>they're saying. It looks like this is from December fourteenth,
<v Speaker 2>and again, I mean it lines up with everything else
<v Speaker 2>we've seen. So here's what this tweet says. I'm not
<v Speaker 2>sure where they're pulling these leaks from if I'm being
<v Speaker 2>totally honest, like they kickstand looks sturdier than the what
<v Speaker 2>we've currently got, But anyway, here's everything they're claiming. Three
<v Speaker 2>models at launch, gray white, and a Mario cart nine
<v Speaker 2>themed one. I don't know how I feel about them
<v Speaker 2>doing a limited edition off their rip. They usually don't
<v Speaker 2>do that, so that instantly kind of gives me faky feelings.
<v Speaker 1>I would get that though.
<v Speaker 2>January twenty twenty five reveal take the how you Want
<v Speaker 2>Mario Catt nine launch title. Now, Look, my whole thing,
<v Speaker 2>one of my hardcore the whole things I've had for
<v Speaker 2>at least the last two years now is that this
<v Speaker 2>is launching with a Mario Kart. Feels so abundantly obvious
<v Speaker 2>to me, and I think it's such a good idea.
<v Speaker 3>So that's one of their best selling times.
<v Speaker 2>I also still think it'll be called Mario cut ten
<v Speaker 2>or Mario Cutt infinite or something, but I don't think
<v Speaker 2>it'll be nine because I think they count the app
<v Speaker 2>the tour one is nine, oh super Mario And also
<v Speaker 2>regardless of that, Mario Cutt nine just does not hit
<v Speaker 2>the same as Mario cut ten or Mario infinite or Super.
<v Speaker 1>They didn't have an iPhone nine, did they. I'm pretty
<v Speaker 1>sure they skipped iPhone nine for iPhone ten.
<v Speaker 2>They skip numbers all the time, Skipper numbers out here.
<v Speaker 2>Magnetic joy cons and Hall Effects sticks. The whole effects
<v Speaker 2>sticks is something we haven't really talked about much here,
<v Speaker 2>but obviously with Joycond Drift, we're expecting Nintendo to do
<v Speaker 2>something better for these and Hall Effect are the ones
<v Speaker 2>that people are saying, a curved doc the LCD screen,
<v Speaker 2>Like we talked about, larger buttons and game hearts, same
<v Speaker 2>as Switch one. Larger buttons makes sense if you're doing
<v Speaker 2>a larger system anyway, they kind of have to be
<v Speaker 2>a little bit bigger. Then at the back here we
<v Speaker 2>have U shaped kickstand. I'm not sure how I feel that.
<v Speaker 1>I thought that was part of like a like a
<v Speaker 1>a case.
<v Speaker 2>I think they've left a gap here for the for
<v Speaker 2>the kickstand to come out of the case. You can
<v Speaker 2>clearly see that is this.
<v Speaker 1>Not a case. Look at the grips on the on
<v Speaker 1>the joy Cons there. What's going on?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, this is a case and you can see that
<v Speaker 2>they've left a cutout for the for the kickstand to
<v Speaker 2>come out through the case.
<v Speaker 1>If it's part of the system, I feel less okay
<v Speaker 1>about that because I feels like I feel like it's
<v Speaker 1>going to break off.
<v Speaker 2>You know, Well it might be like the Switch one
<v Speaker 2>where it does break off intentionally, right. Yeah, switch to
<v Speaker 2>lighter than steam deck, that's obvious, larger z L and
<v Speaker 2>ZR buttons, and switch one magnetic joy cons make a
<v Speaker 2>click sound. That's also obvious. That's Nintendo's trademark at this
<v Speaker 2>point for the Switch and joy Con back release buttons. So,
<v Speaker 2>I mean we're still with still in the theory that
<v Speaker 2>these are released buttons. I still think they're too big
<v Speaker 2>for that, but maybe that's what they are.
<v Speaker 3>They might be dual purpose. I think that would make
<v Speaker 3>more sense, but I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>So, Yeah, that more photos here. Again, this is coming
<v Speaker 2>from a company that is selling a case, and as
<v Speaker 2>part of that, they've just released the case on the
<v Speaker 2>switch to which I don't think they're allowed to do,
<v Speaker 2>but I'm not sure if they can so at this point,
<v Speaker 2>you know, if anyone that's thinking like, ah, now we've
<v Speaker 2>seen it, there's nothing left to surprise us. The real
<v Speaker 2>surprise at this point is going to be what it
<v Speaker 2>can do, Like what's inside this thing, what a game's
<v Speaker 2>going to look like, and what kind of games are
<v Speaker 2>we going to get. I made a whole video on
<v Speaker 2>my main channel of third party games I think could
<v Speaker 2>go to the system and kind of the games we
<v Speaker 2>might get at launch. I'm kind of excited at the
<v Speaker 2>concept of launching with like Mario Catt nine from Nintendo
<v Speaker 2>and then like Elden Ring Day one. I think would
<v Speaker 2>be really cool to see. That's a game that steam
<v Speaker 2>Deck verified, so I don't see it having too much trouble,
<v Speaker 2>especially again, you know you can cut away. Games that
<v Speaker 2>are steam Deck verified are usually like the PC ports
<v Speaker 2>of games that have been optimized better to run on
<v Speaker 2>a steam Deck. A lot of games that go to console, though,
<v Speaker 2>they get specific console ports. So even some games that
<v Speaker 2>maybe they don't run well on steam Deck or they're chunky,
<v Speaker 2>or you think like, oh no way, if the developer
<v Speaker 2>themselves actually optimize and create a version for Switch, they
<v Speaker 2>have someone ported over. Like examples for the Switch one
<v Speaker 2>would be like Doom and which are three. Yeah, there's
<v Speaker 2>no reason we can't get games that, even if they
<v Speaker 2>struggle on Steam Deck, if they actually take the time
<v Speaker 2>to make a switch to version, there's no reason why
<v Speaker 2>a lot of games like Elden Ring can't come over.
<v Speaker 1>Do you think take a foot into the mic into
<v Speaker 1>the mic? Yeah?
<v Speaker 2>Well even I could be, and I'm sat right now.
<v Speaker 3>I didn't mean to say. Do you think that they
<v Speaker 3>could put the new Grand Theft Auto on there?
<v Speaker 2>Six? No?
<v Speaker 3>So they tried to run the old ones, didn't they No?
<v Speaker 2>So yes, so the Switch had the Vice City and
<v Speaker 2>all the trilogy games that were on like PlayStation twoe.
<v Speaker 2>It never got GDA five even though it could handle
<v Speaker 2>that because GDA five was on Xbox three sixty. So
<v Speaker 2>there's no reason for that not to be on Switch,
<v Speaker 2>just for some reason they never did. GDA six is
<v Speaker 2>going to be the the most next gen game we've
<v Speaker 2>ever experienced, breaking boundaries that we haven't seen other developers
<v Speaker 2>and games managed to break. It is going to be
<v Speaker 2>a the epitome of next gen game. So if that
<v Speaker 2>can play on Switch, then Rockstar did a bad job.
<v Speaker 2>Rockstar has also said that they are not putting it
<v Speaker 2>on Switch because what they're doing is next gen. Okay,
<v Speaker 2>so there's there's no way it's going to be.
<v Speaker 3>I was trying to see, like how much this guy
<v Speaker 3>could do.
<v Speaker 2>Not that much? Okay. People are so a lot of people.
<v Speaker 2>When I when I made my video too, when I
<v Speaker 2>was like, I think we could get elder Ring and
<v Speaker 2>things like that, people were saying, as far as we know,
<v Speaker 2>it has about the power of a PlayStation four, So
<v Speaker 2>could elder Ring run PlayStation four? But again that's not
<v Speaker 2>really the question. And it's also like it's not a
<v Speaker 2>one for one. I don't really know. Okay. There's two
<v Speaker 2>things here. One, the first thing I said, you optimize
<v Speaker 2>a game, you make it for the switch to, you
<v Speaker 2>use its hardware. You can put almost anything on it.
<v Speaker 2>How it runs and how it looks is another question.
<v Speaker 2>But you can do it. You can work magic. You've
<v Speaker 2>seen it on the Switch one. The other thing is
<v Speaker 2>it having like the power or like specs or whatever
<v Speaker 2>of PlayStation four doesn't necessarily mean it's limited to what
<v Speaker 2>the PlayStation four can do. There's like other wizardry and
<v Speaker 2>magic and other elements that go into it where you
<v Speaker 2>can actually push it further and you can get more
<v Speaker 2>out of it, and depending on how easy the technology
<v Speaker 2>is to work with, it could be easier to work
<v Speaker 2>with than the PlayStation four was. So there's a lot
<v Speaker 2>of other elements that go into it. I don't think,
<v Speaker 2>and this is still my theory. I don't think Nintendo
<v Speaker 2>would release a handheld console into the market next year
<v Speaker 2>that couldn't at least do what the Steam Deck can
<v Speaker 2>as far as verified games, because the Steam deck's like
<v Speaker 2>three years old, I think at this point two three
<v Speaker 2>years old. I don't think they would release something next
<v Speaker 2>year that would already be worse than the Steam Deck.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, I don't think that.
<v Speaker 2>I think it has to at the very least compete
<v Speaker 2>with Steam Deck. So that's my theory. But obviously we'll
<v Speaker 2>have to see. You never know with Nintendo.
<v Speaker 3>Look forward to see how it's going to run, you know,
<v Speaker 3>that's always the thing.
<v Speaker 2>I mean. Either way, it's not going to be able
<v Speaker 2>to complete with like PlayStation five Pro or like Xbox
<v Speaker 2>running like a full board game. But I think it'll
<v Speaker 2>be able to run some games that run on those consoles.
<v Speaker 3>That'd be interesting to see.
<v Speaker 1>It sound sounds to me kind of like it would
<v Speaker 1>it would like elder Ring, sounds like a really good
<v Speaker 1>title to be like the Switch two's Skyrim, right, Well.
<v Speaker 2>That's the thing. It could be the Switch to Skyrim.
<v Speaker 2>You could put it in all the marketing like Skyrim
<v Speaker 2>was in the initial Switch marketing and it was like, oh,
<v Speaker 2>this thing can run Skyrim. Yeah, you could have the
<v Speaker 2>exact same moment like you're saying, oh, this can run
<v Speaker 2>elder Ring. And I think that would be like a
<v Speaker 2>big moment for people looking at getting a switch to
<v Speaker 2>or maybe doubting the switch to his power. Oh if
<v Speaker 2>it can run elden Ring, well what else can it do?
<v Speaker 2>But also elder Ring was inspired by Breath of the Wild.
<v Speaker 2>It was taking the souls like formula and dark souls
<v Speaker 2>and all of that into an open world. The developers
<v Speaker 2>themselves said it was inspired by Breath of the Wild.
<v Speaker 2>Breath of the Wild released day one with the Switch,
<v Speaker 2>what's better than to release the Switch to or super
<v Speaker 2>Switch day one with elder Ring. It's like a full
<v Speaker 2>circle moment and it does a lot for the console,
<v Speaker 2>and it also showcases like the third party support and
<v Speaker 2>trust there from developers and also gamers. It does a lot.
<v Speaker 2>It goes a long way.
<v Speaker 1>I'm looking at chat by the way, and they're as
<v Speaker 1>disappointed as I was with the knowledge that it's gonna
<v Speaker 1>be an LCD screen.
<v Speaker 2>But yeah, him and I we had this whole conversation
<v Speaker 2>last time. LCD screen isn't a bad thing. LCD screens
<v Speaker 2>can look nice, going to keep the cost down if
<v Speaker 2>it has nice glass, if it's a nice if it's
<v Speaker 2>a nice quality LCD screen, it can look nice. I
<v Speaker 2>think the PlayStation Portal's LCD screen looks very nice. Actually
<v Speaker 2>was actual. Yeah, I was surprised by how nice that
<v Speaker 2>LCD screen looked. I was shocked that the portal wasn't
<v Speaker 2>o led to begin with, because it's like, we're streaming
<v Speaker 2>a game here. All we've got is the screen. But
<v Speaker 2>it ended up looking really nice and the games pop
<v Speaker 2>and they look really clear. So as long as it's
<v Speaker 2>a really nice LCD screen.
<v Speaker 1>What someone said, can we get a link costume in
<v Speaker 1>elden Ring?
<v Speaker 2>Oh that was in my video, that was in your video. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I'm a fake fan, Hey night everybody. Yeah, but just
<v Speaker 2>like Skyrim had a link Breath of the Wild outfit,
<v Speaker 2>I think it'd be cool if elden Ring released with
<v Speaker 2>like some like Nintendo stuff. Yeah, ben Netta did that too.
<v Speaker 2>It had like a Samas outfit and like some other
<v Speaker 2>Nintendo themed outfits, like a Peach outfit.
<v Speaker 1>I think that'd be sick.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it would be sick. And it also just gives
<v Speaker 2>you a reason to pick it back up, you know,
<v Speaker 2>write something new. What was I saying?
<v Speaker 3>Oh?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, and the LCD screen it cuts down on cost,
<v Speaker 2>so it could cost it could cut fifty to one
<v Speaker 2>hundred dollars off the price tag of the switch to
<v Speaker 2>H and then you can reintroduce the O lead model later. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I mean they will. I think it's gonna look fine.
<v Speaker 2>And as I said to him last week, would you
<v Speaker 2>rather would you rather spend that fifty to one hundred
<v Speaker 2>dollars on an O Lead or fifty to one hundred
<v Speaker 2>dollars on a better GPU and like an actual internals
<v Speaker 2>inside the hardware? Yeah, like the games are going to
<v Speaker 2>look better if the internals are better, not the screen
<v Speaker 2>or the screen obviously will help. But all right, yeah
<v Speaker 2>that everything switched to we had for you a cool Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>cool won do some year in reviews. I've been excited. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>although speaking of well, I'm not excited for mine.
<v Speaker 1>I think I'm gonna get fired.
<v Speaker 2>Actually speaking of Christmas and also zelder thin things.
<v Speaker 1>I could open this, you can and should do that.
<v Speaker 2>I've been dying to open this.
<v Speaker 1>That's why you have the exact one. I'm sitting on
<v Speaker 1>the desk the whole time, That's what. That's why I
<v Speaker 1>was like, God, you're gonna hurt yourself.
<v Speaker 2>So like a year ago, I think, Kip again messaged
<v Speaker 2>me and he was like, have you seen this? And
<v Speaker 2>he sent me a link to a master sword replica
<v Speaker 2>on game Stop for two hundred dollars. Now I completely
<v Speaker 2>forgot that I bought this. And then Kip called me
<v Speaker 2>excited one day and he was like, did you get
<v Speaker 2>your sword? And I was like, what sword talking about?
<v Speaker 2>I don't think I ordered that. And then I looked
<v Speaker 2>on the porch and sure enough. And I've been waiting
<v Speaker 2>to open it, uh honestly, just to be on camera.
<v Speaker 2>So I'm on camera. Also, I got this sweater at
<v Speaker 2>GameStop is Christmas venoms.
<v Speaker 1>People have been saying things about it kind of nice,
<v Speaker 1>pretty dope, pretty dope with it. I haven't worn like
<v Speaker 1>an ugly Christmas sweater in a long time.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, I love them.
<v Speaker 2>I don't think it's ugly.
<v Speaker 3>It's the whole point.
<v Speaker 1>It's called an ugly sweater. Yeah, it's not ugly, it's
<v Speaker 1>just it's cool. It's just that it's called look like that.
<v Speaker 1>We've got a box within a box. Actually the box
<v Speaker 1>is kind of sick.
<v Speaker 2>I know, right. Oh yeah, it comes too, so you can,
<v Speaker 2>like you can stand it up like that.
<v Speaker 3>I do, I open it, open it, I would imagine.
<v Speaker 1>I like that.
<v Speaker 2>I like that.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, what oh yeah, probably not right.
<v Speaker 2>What's everybody asked?
<v Speaker 3>Plastic?
<v Speaker 2>Yes, oh well, I don't know. Probably it's super live.
<v Speaker 3>You're lifting it like it's past.
<v Speaker 1>If you're lifting it with one hand like that, then no.
<v Speaker 2>I was actually pretty shocked by how light it was.
<v Speaker 1>I do like that. The rack has like a space
<v Speaker 1>for the sword and for the sheath.
<v Speaker 3>I think it's gonna look real nice on the shelf.
<v Speaker 1>Which shelf, dog.
<v Speaker 2>Bucks.
<v Speaker 3>It's kind of ship plastic for two a little.
<v Speaker 2>It's like a kid's toy. It's honestly like foams.
<v Speaker 3>Oh, it's very light. It's hollo. That's why you can
<v Speaker 3>hear it.
<v Speaker 2>If I actually tried to hit anything with this, it
<v Speaker 2>would break in.
<v Speaker 1>You can probably you could have three D printed that
<v Speaker 1>nicer wobbly Why does it have a button.
<v Speaker 2>It has button.
<v Speaker 3>It must talk, it must know you wasted your money.
<v Speaker 2>I honestly feel like I could snap it. Well don't
<v Speaker 2>I don't want it? Can I feel it?
<v Speaker 1>Can give him If you don't like it, you can
<v Speaker 1>just give it away.
<v Speaker 2>It was two hundred dollars. This pot's kind of cool.
<v Speaker 3>Oh like that? This part is it's like, couseplace safe?
<v Speaker 1>Do you want to?
<v Speaker 3>I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I see that.
<v Speaker 2>It's like in between both cameras come back a little
<v Speaker 2>bit wet dockings. You still can't really see it.
<v Speaker 3>Have to blur that.
<v Speaker 2>Just put it in.
<v Speaker 3>Jeez, I'm so sorry.
<v Speaker 1>Audio listeners can say that one more time?
<v Speaker 2>Would I don't I'm not like that.
<v Speaker 3>Well that was anti claymactic.
<v Speaker 2>That would be that. That is fifty bucks.
<v Speaker 3>It's gonna go on sale.
<v Speaker 2>That should have been fifty bucks, not two hundred. I
<v Speaker 2>thought it would be like weighted and metal or something.
<v Speaker 1>It's fifty bucks after market seventy five games.
<v Speaker 2>Part of the reason why I bought it is because
<v Speaker 2>if you actually try looking for master Stord replicas online,
<v Speaker 2>there there's none there, or to find you can find
<v Speaker 2>people on Etsy that make custom ones that are really expensive,
<v Speaker 2>but they also never look like the traditional master sword.
<v Speaker 2>They always look ridiculous.
<v Speaker 3>It's a really cool kids too.
<v Speaker 2>I want to know what closest I've ever seen to
<v Speaker 2>an actual replica of the Master sword, which is why
<v Speaker 2>I bought it. And it does look pretty nice, but
<v Speaker 2>it feels incredibly cheap. It is so lost.
<v Speaker 3>Then you know that's true.
<v Speaker 2>Cool. Thanks.
<v Speaker 1>I'm going to ask my friend Maya. I think my
<v Speaker 1>friend Maya has a Master's sword, like a real one,
<v Speaker 1>and ask her to send me a photo of it.
<v Speaker 2>Do it you won't? All right, let's do some year
<v Speaker 2>in reviews. Just let me close all of these tabs
<v Speaker 2>because I've got like a thousand things open and all
<v Speaker 2>your reviews pulled up my reviews.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, your year in reviews. Hmm Okay.
<v Speaker 1>Someone in chat said it sounds cheap.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, yeah, it sounded hollow, because it is.
<v Speaker 2>All right, we're going to start with my Nintendo Year
<v Speaker 2>in Review. We're going to get the big one out
<v Speaker 2>of the way first.
<v Speaker 1>Okay. I was gonna say, look at mine first. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>all right, let's do it.
<v Speaker 3>Hit it.
<v Speaker 2>I want to preface this by saying that this is
<v Speaker 2>I don't know. I was going to say. If you
<v Speaker 2>don't know, Kim, I'm gonna explain it to you because
<v Speaker 2>you I know you know, because I told you before
<v Speaker 2>we went live. But every year, all these companies now
<v Speaker 2>they do year in reviews where they show you how
<v Speaker 2>much you've played and what you've played Spotify wrapped, or
<v Speaker 2>that I got one for Starbucks for my Starbucks app.
<v Speaker 2>I tried to log in. I tried so hard to
<v Speaker 2>log in, and I just I couldn't get it because
<v Speaker 2>it's the apps of notifications saying it's ready, and then
<v Speaker 2>every time I click on it, it takes me to
<v Speaker 2>a browser. And I've tried everything to log in, and
<v Speaker 2>I'm not changing my password. All right, this is Nintendo's
<v Speaker 2>I'm going to get started. I expect this to be
<v Speaker 2>my least played year of the switch out of every year.
<v Speaker 3>Oh yeah, because you have a bunch of consoles now.
<v Speaker 2>Well, I have so many options. But also there just
<v Speaker 2>wasn't much from Nintendo this year.
<v Speaker 3>Big titles that you were in.
<v Speaker 2>Welcome to your twenty twenty four year and review. You
<v Speaker 2>kicked off twenty twenty four with Farm Oh my God,
<v Speaker 2>third of January. We loved that game.
<v Speaker 3>We did. We played it a lot.
<v Speaker 2>We played that call op for hours. We had a
<v Speaker 2>really fun time with it.
<v Speaker 3>But I like it.
<v Speaker 2>That said free demo though, Oh god, oh jeez. I
<v Speaker 2>played sixty two games for a total of one hundred
<v Speaker 2>and eighty nine hours.
<v Speaker 1>That's surprising. I thought I would have thought you would
<v Speaker 1>have played more hours than one hundred and eighty nine.
<v Speaker 2>I barely touched it this year. That's barely touched it.
<v Speaker 2>I mean I played. I played Final Fantasy Rebirth for
<v Speaker 2>ninety hours. I played Stellar Blade for forty hours. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>this honestly could be the first year of the Switch
<v Speaker 2>where I've played PlayStation more than the Switch.
<v Speaker 3>It seems like it.
<v Speaker 2>I just didn't really, It wasn't much I really wanted
<v Speaker 2>to play, And I think I only made like one,
<v Speaker 2>maybe two E Shop videos, and like those usually take
<v Speaker 2>up a lot of my time and hours too. I
<v Speaker 2>most played most played twenty four Stardoo Valley at thirty
<v Speaker 2>three hours, Persona five Royal at twenty six. That was
<v Speaker 2>me finally finishing it because I've been playing it ever
<v Speaker 2>since it released. And then I put twenty four hours
<v Speaker 2>into Zouder Echoes of Wisdom.
<v Speaker 3>Did you stream to that? Yeah?
<v Speaker 2>What else have we got Stardo. Okay, so this is
<v Speaker 2>just these again, all right? Your favorite way to play
<v Speaker 2>action was thirty one percent, adventure sixteen, RPG fifteen, socialized
<v Speaker 2>with characters fifteen This category I don't know, construction and management.
<v Speaker 2>I'm a hard worker fifteen percent, and party was eight percent.
<v Speaker 2>That must have been Mario Parney. Oh, Jackbox, you played
<v Speaker 2>most in November forty four hours. Oh that would have
<v Speaker 2>been all of us, a lot of us.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Wow, So forty four of my like almost two hundred
<v Speaker 2>hours were all in November, like a.
<v Speaker 1>Quarter of it. It was last month.
<v Speaker 2>Oh wow, month by month seven February thirty three. I
<v Speaker 2>played five hours of Switch in March and then five
<v Speaker 2>hours in April.
<v Speaker 1>It almost feels.
<v Speaker 3>Wrong, it does for you.
<v Speaker 1>This looks this was a crazy year.
<v Speaker 2>There was just nothing. Yeah, and I had again what
<v Speaker 2>PlayStation portal?
<v Speaker 3>I had you happy.
<v Speaker 2>Steam Deck even I put a lot of steam Deck
<v Speaker 2>hours in. I finished. I pretty much finished Marble Midnight
<v Speaker 2>Suns on my Steam Deck and played too much Powerwash
<v Speaker 2>Stimulator on Steam Deck. Also, I was getting for This
<v Speaker 2>was the first year I was getting games on steam
<v Speaker 2>Deck that came out on Switch. I played Tunic on
<v Speaker 2>Steam Deck because it was like one hundred frames and
<v Speaker 2>looked cleaner and nicer than on the switch. The switch
<v Speaker 2>was like laggy and blurry. So there was a lot
<v Speaker 2>of games where I decided to play on Steam Deck instead.
<v Speaker 2>January was Fay Farm, February was Persona Balatro. All right,
<v Speaker 2>we don't need to look at all of that. Here
<v Speaker 2>comes the big choice. Oh god, I'm scared. Pick your favorite.
<v Speaker 2>Oh wait, I get to pick my favorite game. Stardoo
<v Speaker 2>Persona Mario Party. Oh I don't even know. Not Brothership. No,
<v Speaker 2>I didn't like it that much.
<v Speaker 3>Oh my goodness.
<v Speaker 2>Honestly, Stardo Star do's too good? Down log you just stats?
<v Speaker 2>All right, that's it. I think that's it. That was
<v Speaker 2>your twenty twenty four wow lame. Honestly kind of disappointed
<v Speaker 2>in myself. Not surprised though by any means. What about yours?
<v Speaker 2>You had yours?
<v Speaker 3>Hell, I didn't look at it.
<v Speaker 2>I'm gonna swop back to yeah, cutaway, and then I'll
<v Speaker 2>bring up Hams while you find yours.
<v Speaker 1>Too, Please don't I Also, I'm gonna send uh my
<v Speaker 1>friend Maya did send me her her Master sword Dog.
<v Speaker 1>You got ripped off? Where she get hos from I
<v Speaker 1>don't know where she got hers from, but she told
<v Speaker 1>me the price and she paid less than you did,
<v Speaker 1>and hers is metal.
<v Speaker 3>Soh my goodness.
<v Speaker 1>So yeah, it's in the team chat right now. You
<v Speaker 1>can do it after Kim's thing if you want.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I'm sure this is on the screen. So no,
<v Speaker 2>it's not yet because ham doesn't like be showing its
<v Speaker 2>Discord because of all like shady conversations.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, I got my it's private.
<v Speaker 2>Dog, I mean, okay, I just don't say anything that
<v Speaker 2>would get me canceled.
<v Speaker 1>It's not that would get me canceled. It's that it's
<v Speaker 1>I have private conversations on Do not have private conversations
<v Speaker 1>people on Discord?
<v Speaker 2>No, I'm trustworthy, you know what.
<v Speaker 1>I'm trustworthy too. I'm trustworthy that you could have logged
<v Speaker 1>in Discord on that PC like I did on this one.
<v Speaker 2>You kicked off This is Hams. You kicked off twenty
<v Speaker 2>four with Mario caught eight.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, on what date?
<v Speaker 2>March ten? So the first time you played Switch was
<v Speaker 2>March I played Switch? Well, that's Mario day. So you
<v Speaker 2>were celebrating, I guess, so I think I was actually
<v Speaker 2>like a stream it was for stream, So, uh, you
<v Speaker 2>played six games for twenty three hours.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, yeah.
<v Speaker 2>What games were those your most played? Well, Monkey Bowl,
<v Speaker 2>Banana Rumble, Monkey Bowl, Banana Mania.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I play a lot of monkey Ball.
<v Speaker 2>And Mario Party Jembuary for two hours. That's like you
<v Speaker 2>played twice. Yeah, you played, I did.
<v Speaker 1>I have a whole thing with Mario Party.
<v Speaker 2>Jambre played Banana I want to play.
<v Speaker 1>I want to play Jembree more. I played Banana Rumble
<v Speaker 1>for a bit because I was doing a whole thing
<v Speaker 1>whereas you know the grid thing that we're streaming it. Yeah, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I was doing the grid thing.
<v Speaker 2>So yeah, your gaming style is very basic. Action Party
<v Speaker 2>thirty six.
<v Speaker 1>I played six games less to break down.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I feel I can't watch yours. We'll have to
<v Speaker 2>read you. I mean, yeah, go on, you played more
<v Speaker 2>hours of Switch than me?
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, I all because I know why. I know where
<v Speaker 3>they went to.
<v Speaker 2>So Kim played and I just got this on her phone.
<v Speaker 2>I also read it to you. Eight games for three
<v Speaker 2>hundred and seven hours, So she played over one hundred
<v Speaker 2>hours more than me.
<v Speaker 3>No, I haven't seen it yet.
<v Speaker 1>She played two hundred and seventy five did you see?
<v Speaker 2>Do you want to guess how many hours of your Wait,
<v Speaker 2>what do you think Kim's top game was of the year?
<v Speaker 1>Stardo?
<v Speaker 2>No?
<v Speaker 1>Oh? Is it like? Is it another farming thing?
<v Speaker 2>It's essentially Starduo.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, is it is? It is? I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>Just tell me her number two. Her number three was Stardu,
<v Speaker 2>Her number two was Faith Farm. Her number one was
<v Speaker 2>Disney Dreamlike Valley.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, that makes sense.
<v Speaker 2>Do you want to guess how many hours either of
<v Speaker 2>you want to guess how many hours she spent in
<v Speaker 2>Disney dream My Valley this year? One hundred and twenty
<v Speaker 2>Oh close, you want to guess? One fifty two hundred
<v Speaker 2>and fifty two ninety five hours in faith Arm and
<v Speaker 2>then thirty three in Star Honestly, you're a bigger switch
<v Speaker 2>gamer than me.
<v Speaker 3>Now, then I needed something to fill the animal crossing
<v Speaker 3>shaped hole in my heart, and that was close enough.
<v Speaker 2>Construction and management twenty three percent?
<v Speaker 3>You know what?
<v Speaker 2>I think that's Starduo. It must be you most played
<v Speaker 2>in January. You clocked seventy hours in January, sixty four
<v Speaker 2>in June, fifty in July, and then forty two last month.
<v Speaker 2>Some big hours there, all right, what's your what's pick
<v Speaker 2>your favorite game of the year Dreamlight that starting. I
<v Speaker 2>love We're both picking Starduo. Yeah, I love it all right,
<v Speaker 2>that's wow.
<v Speaker 3>That was my embarrassing list.
<v Speaker 2>Now let me see here. Let's do my PlayStation one.
<v Speaker 2>I'm ready Extreme game of Nerd. Don't don't try and
<v Speaker 2>friend request me. I will not accept. Joined two thousand
<v Speaker 2>and nine.
<v Speaker 1>Oh well, high school.
<v Speaker 2>I've been talking about this nineteen. I've been talking about
<v Speaker 2>this recently with my three right. Yeah, my PlayStation account,
<v Speaker 2>and I'm so hesitant to let it go because it's
<v Speaker 2>region locked to Australia and I keep having all these issues.
<v Speaker 2>I finally gave up and I unsubscribed from PlayStation Plus
<v Speaker 2>and I started a new account and it hurt.
<v Speaker 3>Huts, like having to get a new email account.
<v Speaker 2>It's like losing an old friend, and like that's nothing
<v Speaker 2>I can do. PlayStation won't let me change regions.
<v Speaker 3>Which is so stupid.
<v Speaker 2>For anyone that like the games are region locked. I'll
<v Speaker 2>tell you quickly what I discovered. The the discs are
<v Speaker 2>region locked, I mean the sorry, the discs aren't region locked,
<v Speaker 2>so you can buy a disc from Japan and play
<v Speaker 2>on a on a PlayStation. Yeah, but the save files
<v Speaker 2>and the doc are locked to the region's disc. So
<v Speaker 2>let's say I get confusing. I know, but let's say
<v Speaker 2>I import a game from Japan and I play it
<v Speaker 2>on my PlayStation on my account, and then I decide
<v Speaker 2>I want to buy the same game digitally on the
<v Speaker 2>region that I have, I will have to start a
<v Speaker 2>new game because the say files are region locked to
<v Speaker 2>the other region.
<v Speaker 1>Another so stupid.
<v Speaker 2>Also, if I want to buy the DC for that
<v Speaker 2>game and my account's region isn't the region of the disc,
<v Speaker 2>the DC is region locked the to the disc, so
<v Speaker 2>I can't use American DOC on a Japanese disc. So
<v Speaker 2>that's the issue I ran into with Stellar Blade because
<v Speaker 2>my account is Australian but the disc I bought here,
<v Speaker 2>so I wasn't able to buy the DC for the
<v Speaker 2>discs Australia be buying the Australian DOC. And even when
<v Speaker 2>I made an American account, I tried going and buying
<v Speaker 2>it over there and then switching back to my ANAN one,
<v Speaker 2>it just wouldn't register. All right, anyway, let's go sorry
<v Speaker 2>about all of that. I played sixteen games on PlayStation
<v Speaker 2>five this year, oh and one on PlayStation it would
<v Speaker 2>have been a PlayStation four game. I played on PlayStation five.
<v Speaker 2>My first game on January first was Final Fantasy.
<v Speaker 1>So you played the PlayStation before you played Switch this year?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah? Yeah, apparently. I mean I told you it's the
<v Speaker 2>year of PlayStation for me. How do how do I
<v Speaker 2>move this one?
<v Speaker 3>I don't know?
<v Speaker 1>Is it to the rapes? There's an arrow to the rate?
<v Speaker 2>I thought that was yea so much. My top five
<v Speaker 2>games were the Stellar games. Do you think that's a pun? Yes,
<v Speaker 2>it has to be, right, sir. A lott of love
<v Speaker 2>from you this year. My number one obviously Final Fantasy Rebirth.
<v Speaker 2>It says forty six trophies and forty five percent of
<v Speaker 2>my playtime one hundred and thirty seven hours.
<v Speaker 1>A lot of time.
<v Speaker 2>That's how much time I spent with the Switch period.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Crazy, Yet Kim still spent more time playing the
<v Speaker 1>Disney Jay.
<v Speaker 2>That is nuts. That is nuts. Actually thirty six hours
<v Speaker 2>in metaphor, and actually need to go back to that.
<v Speaker 2>I didn't finish it. Thirty six hours Instellar Blade did
<v Speaker 2>finish that, thirty four hours in Final Fantasy. I'm right
<v Speaker 2>at the end of that game and I still haven't
<v Speaker 2>pulled the trigger. And then twenty six hours and Persona
<v Speaker 2>three reloaded. I also haven't finished that, unfortunately. I'm a
<v Speaker 2>role player. Seventy eight percent of your time was in
<v Speaker 2>expansive worlds and narratives and RPGs. Yeah, that is my
<v Speaker 2>bread and butter. That's what I love the most. Your
<v Speaker 2>twenty twenty four gaming calendar, let's check out your playtime trophies.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know if I care about this January. Where
<v Speaker 2>is this January February?
<v Speaker 1>Oh?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I don't really care about that. Just for you,
<v Speaker 2>thanks for being a PlayStation member. You can keep going,
<v Speaker 2>all right, don't advertise to me and my wrap up.
<v Speaker 1>Damn, that's actually embarrassing.
<v Speaker 2>In twenty twenty four, you played three hundred and three hours?
<v Speaker 2>Is that more than I than? That said before? Did
<v Speaker 2>not tell me before it told.
<v Speaker 3>You how many hours per game? It didn't add it
<v Speaker 3>up yet.
<v Speaker 2>Two hundred and fifty four play sessions. Oh that's like
<v Speaker 2>one a day. That was impossible.
<v Speaker 1>Really, it's one every it's two every three days. That
<v Speaker 1>can't be all right, it's less than two every three days?
<v Speaker 1>Like how many sessions?
<v Speaker 2>Session? Two hundred and fifty whenever?
<v Speaker 3>You like?
<v Speaker 2>I don't know. Games played fifteen much doesn't seem right
<v Speaker 2>to me, no PlayStation portal remote player. I played eighty
<v Speaker 2>one hours remotely. Yeah, I wasn't lying every time I said.
<v Speaker 2>I actually ended up really liking the portal. Yeah, I
<v Speaker 2>played it a lot. I was on that thing most
<v Speaker 2>nights for a long time. There. I played eight games
<v Speaker 2>on my portal. Uh, trophies, one hundred and thirty nine trophies.
<v Speaker 2>I don't really trophy hunt, so I'm not. I don't
<v Speaker 2>really know.
<v Speaker 3>But it's cool that they show you.
<v Speaker 2>I was an achievement guy. It is cool. Take a trip.
<v Speaker 2>It's been a long road. Oh, it has like screenshots
<v Speaker 2>from when I got trophies. Okay, cool, don't care. Social
<v Speaker 2>stats parties joined one. Yeah, I mean I'm playing RPGs.
<v Speaker 1>You know what I mean multiplayers? Did you play on
<v Speaker 1>PS five?
<v Speaker 2>What a yeah? I mean I've been playing a lot
<v Speaker 2>of Marble Rivals the last week. Kip and I have
<v Speaker 2>gotten massively into Marble Rivals on PlayStation or yeah. Really, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>we've been. We've been literally slugging away at it. I
<v Speaker 2>think I'm probably at twenty hours now already. It's nice
<v Speaker 2>for you. I'm happy for you. It's why because I
<v Speaker 2>hate it. I think it's it's actually really good. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I'm shocked I.
<v Speaker 1>Heard good things. I just you know, I didn't like
<v Speaker 1>Overwatch either, so.
<v Speaker 2>I don't like Overwatch either.
<v Speaker 1>It's very similar.
<v Speaker 2>It's the same thing. I think. What I like about
<v Speaker 2>it is it's back to six f six, which is nice.
<v Speaker 2>You can get more people playing. We've had a few
<v Speaker 2>like stacked teams. And the thing that this does that
<v Speaker 2>over Watch doesn't is team ups. So if you play
<v Speaker 2>with certain heroes together, you get extra abilities and extra
<v Speaker 2>combos and things, and it makes it really unique. Like
<v Speaker 2>when I play Lunar and Kip plays Jeff his like
<v Speaker 2>water tags become is attacks and do way more damage.
<v Speaker 2>Or when I'm iron Man and Kenny plays Hulk, then
<v Speaker 2>I get like this big like Gamma infused like bomb
<v Speaker 2>that I can like throw, and it's just kind of sick,
<v Speaker 2>and I don't like doing. The team ups is like
<v Speaker 2>a lot a lot of fun and the game is
<v Speaker 2>just fun.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>I like it right all right, Next, you can cut
<v Speaker 2>away while I bring it up in case it's like wrong,
<v Speaker 2>M what did you play on the X okay? I
<v Speaker 2>got yeah, this is it's already here. It's just already loaded.
<v Speaker 2>The whole thing. All right, So Xbox Year Interview, this
<v Speaker 2>has got to be nothing. This is probably literally just
<v Speaker 2>call of duty because it.
<v Speaker 1>Has to be for most people, I imagine, right.
<v Speaker 2>Well, yeah, I mean it speaks for itself. Xbox sucks.
<v Speaker 2>But also Activision always sends me a code for Call
<v Speaker 2>of Duty every year, and it's always an Xbox code,
<v Speaker 2>and I never do anything with it except play it,
<v Speaker 2>so I don't want to call attention to it and
<v Speaker 2>ask them for a PC code or anything. So I
<v Speaker 2>just put it on Xbox, and I actually really enjoyed.
<v Speaker 2>I played Zombies for quite a bit with my old
<v Speaker 2>high school friend Szeppo. Oh, I played seventy six hours
<v Speaker 2>of Xbox.
<v Speaker 1>You played more Xbox than I played Switch.
<v Speaker 2>So I played seventeen games, seventeen different games.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, hold on, is this a wait? This is this
<v Speaker 1>your Xbox account? Oh?
<v Speaker 2>It counts. Oh. I probably did a lot of Like
<v Speaker 2>every time I get a handheld console like a rock Ally,
<v Speaker 2>I put game passages. Yeah, so that's Fallout seventy six.
<v Speaker 2>I played ten hours of that. Got to say, fall
<v Speaker 2>Out seventy six, it's fun now affects it?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah?
<v Speaker 2>I think so?
<v Speaker 3>Nice.
<v Speaker 2>I wish I had someone to play with. I can't
<v Speaker 2>get anyone to play it with me because everyone hates it.
<v Speaker 1>Dude. I feel like people in my circles have been
<v Speaker 1>talking about playing Fall seventy six so many times, but
<v Speaker 1>nobody ever pulls the chick.
<v Speaker 2>Actually, I was having fun playing on my own, but
<v Speaker 2>at the same time, I was like, I don't know,
<v Speaker 2>this just feels like something I should have friends for,
<v Speaker 2>and I felt lonely. Call of Duty. I played a
<v Speaker 2>lot of We again. Sepa and I were really trying
<v Speaker 2>to do the Easter Egg mission and Zombies. Oh, Kip
<v Speaker 2>and I played three Gears of War. We did a
<v Speaker 2>hardcore run of Gears of War and we finished it nice.
<v Speaker 2>That was fun. I played a little bit of sen
<v Speaker 2>Oh High Fire Rush we had I had you start
<v Speaker 2>that Gears three, Halo Infinite First Descended, No, probably not.
<v Speaker 2>I probably just loaded it up on one of the handhelds.
<v Speaker 2>I tried Valoriant, but only for like an hour or two. Okay, alright, alright,
<v Speaker 2>that was the Xbox all right. The last thing I
<v Speaker 2>was surprised I had so many hours. The last thing
<v Speaker 2>was Steam and I couldn't figure out how to do
<v Speaker 2>Steam's year and review because it says Steam News your
<v Speaker 2>twenty twenty four replay is ready, and then if I
<v Speaker 2>click on Steam replay, it just takes me to oh no,
<v Speaker 2>it's walking cool. You were saying error before. All right,
<v Speaker 2>Steam replayed twenty twenty four. This year, you played a
<v Speaker 2>variety of different games. Here are the highlights.
<v Speaker 3>What is this going to be? What you play on
<v Speaker 3>a PC like the valns.
<v Speaker 2>Anything through Steam? So that counts Steam Deck two.
<v Speaker 3>It goes again.
<v Speaker 1>The alarm is going off. It's four o'clock.
<v Speaker 2>Twenty nine games played, ten games fewer than last year.
<v Speaker 2>All right, let's not shame me. More achievements, all right,
<v Speaker 2>tells me I've played eighteen percent keyboard and mouse, eighty
<v Speaker 2>percent with controller, old Blackmith Wukong. Yeah, I played that
<v Speaker 2>through here, doesn't tell me how many hours?
<v Speaker 1>No?
<v Speaker 2>Really?
<v Speaker 3>Why not?
<v Speaker 2>Really? Twelve sessions, nine day streak.
<v Speaker 1>I mean you can log into Steam and it'll tell you.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, but it should tell me. He Marvel mid Night
<v Speaker 2>sounds like I said, uh, Power World, How you's only
<v Speaker 2>on stream? Didn't really play it much outside of stream
<v Speaker 2>new releases. I played fifty eight percent the percentage of
<v Speaker 2>playtime spent by ol Steam users in new releases. Oh interesting,
<v Speaker 2>what games I play? Uh? Superhero Mythology and farming sim
<v Speaker 2>on my highest Which makes sense because Kim and I
<v Speaker 2>did start star Due first on Steam. He tried few
<v Speaker 2>hours and then we were like, now let's just do
<v Speaker 2>it on Stone Switch. Okay, well that's it, I guess.
<v Speaker 2>Oh wait some fall Out four. Oh yeah, I did
<v Speaker 2>start that again. I had a lot of fun with that.
<v Speaker 2>I stopped Tunic. Like I said, I finished that.
<v Speaker 3>Not all they're going to show.
<v Speaker 2>You played on more than one device. I played a
<v Speaker 2>number of games all like a quarter on Steam Deck,
<v Speaker 2>a little bit in VR, mostly on Windows. I played Steam.
<v Speaker 2>I played fifteen games on Steam Deck and that was
<v Speaker 2>twenty three percent of my game time. That's Powerwash Simulator.
<v Speaker 3>I do like the graphics on this. It's nice.
<v Speaker 1>It looks good.
<v Speaker 2>After the fall I didn't play much Via fifty play
<v Speaker 2>crazy jiggling the door.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's kind of say. I thought there was a lawnmower. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>me too, four PM.
<v Speaker 2>They're honestly giving too many, too many visuals.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's very busy.
<v Speaker 2>All right, cool, all right, that's all I got, tight tight.
<v Speaker 2>That was That was all my year in reviews.
<v Speaker 1>I love it. We didn't do Spotify, but I don't
<v Speaker 1>know if you cared about that.
<v Speaker 2>I don't. I I was, I was thinking about doing it,
<v Speaker 2>but hmm, I don't care. It's a lot of year
<v Speaker 2>in reviews is a lot. Oh. I wanted to rank
<v Speaker 2>how much time? What time are we at?
<v Speaker 1>We are at?
<v Speaker 2>Oh?
<v Speaker 1>We got time, dude. If we're doing two hours, we're
<v Speaker 1>a one twenty seven right now.
<v Speaker 2>I wanted to rank top five Nintendo Switch exclusives for
<v Speaker 2>twenty twenty four. Yeah, are you able to bring up
<v Speaker 2>a top five thing?
<v Speaker 1>I can. I can make it top five.
<v Speaker 2>And then I'll just I'll just uh, there's not that
<v Speaker 2>many and more, just.
<v Speaker 1>Like okay, yeah, oh Kim Downson, Oh probably cool. While
<v Speaker 1>we wait for her, do you want to show that
<v Speaker 1>master sword?
<v Speaker 3>Now?
<v Speaker 1>Okay, that's fine.
<v Speaker 2>Oh wait, oh my one? Yeah, where is it?
<v Speaker 1>It's in the chat, the group chat.
<v Speaker 2>I thought you meant mine. I was like, no, I've
<v Speaker 2>already done that.
<v Speaker 1>You could just I think the second image is good
<v Speaker 1>enough because it shows both. It's on it's on her,
<v Speaker 1>it's on her lightning McQueen race car bed that she
<v Speaker 1>has in her stream room. But this is like actual metal.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I know that this wasn't my issue though that
<v Speaker 2>I was talking about, what's the issue with this? It
<v Speaker 2>doesn't look like the Master Sword because it doesn't. It
<v Speaker 2>just doesn't look like it. Well, yeah, it's not. It's
<v Speaker 2>not a Master sword wrap. Look her, it's like somebody
<v Speaker 2>has made a Master sword and it's like, it's cool.
<v Speaker 2>It looks like it's from.
<v Speaker 1>The ring. I guess it kind of isn't a replica. Technically,
<v Speaker 1>the sheath looks really good.
<v Speaker 2>The sheath looks good. Yeah, yeah, yeah, she looks pretty good.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, but this this, this was one hundred and fifty.
<v Speaker 2>Dollars, But this is what the Master Sword's hilt. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>hilt looks like, right, and then that looks like I
<v Speaker 2>don't know, it's like brass, it's like gold. It's like
<v Speaker 2>it's similar to the one that Bob got me. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>like it's it's cool, but it's not a replica. And
<v Speaker 2>this was like, oh, I finally got a replica. I
<v Speaker 2>was just hoping it. I didn't think it was going
<v Speaker 2>to be plastic for two hundred dollars.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it would have been nice if it wasn't garbage. Right,
<v Speaker 1>it's unfortunate what are you getting over there?
<v Speaker 3>What is that.
<v Speaker 2>Similar to this? This is the one that Bob got me.
<v Speaker 2>The sheath isn't as cool as hers, but like the
<v Speaker 2>sword is obviously sick, right, And even when he got it,
<v Speaker 2>he was like, wait, that's not the master sword, and
<v Speaker 2>I was like, well, I mean, like it it is,
<v Speaker 2>but no, like it's for one, it's black and gold,
<v Speaker 2>but it's cool.
<v Speaker 1>This master sword. Snob over here.
<v Speaker 2>Coffee snob and master swords.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, a snob of many, many trades.
<v Speaker 2>When you like something, you like something, you know.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I can't even I can't. I can't. I can't
<v Speaker 1>blame me for that.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, that's okay, all right? You ready?
<v Speaker 1>Do you want to just go? You have like the list?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I had the list, So I'm gonna rank top
<v Speaker 2>five and tenisals exclusives of twenty twenty four. The list,
<v Speaker 2>in no particular order, is as follows, and not all
<v Speaker 2>of these are going to make the list. Another Code recollection,
<v Speaker 2>remember that one, Remember that banger I Don't Endless Ocean,
<v Speaker 2>Luminous Fitness Boxing featuring Hatsu Miku, Mario Verse, Donkey Kong Paper, Mario,
<v Speaker 2>The Thousand Year Door, Princess Peach Showtime, Mario and Luigi Brothership,
<v Speaker 2>and then I actually now realizing Zelder Echoes of Wisdom,
<v Speaker 2>and if check and think of any more that we forgot.
<v Speaker 1>Go for it. Yeah, I mean, I've got your five up.
<v Speaker 2>So I think the number one to get that out
<v Speaker 2>the way easy is Zelda Echoes of Wisdom.
<v Speaker 1>It was the.
<v Speaker 2>Only new like it was the best new first party exclusive,
<v Speaker 2>like brand new game, not like a remake or remaster
<v Speaker 2>or anything like that. It was the first time we
<v Speaker 2>got to play. Is Zelda not my number one game
<v Speaker 2>of the year in general, but definitely number one out
<v Speaker 2>of the list of first party exclusives. Next, I'm inclined
<v Speaker 2>to say the Paper Mario thousand Year Door remake. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I'm inclined to say that. And it's a remake of
<v Speaker 2>a game that's already fantastic. That's the only reason why
<v Speaker 2>I didn't get number one, because I think it's a
<v Speaker 2>better game than Echoes of Wisdom, but it's a GameCube game,
<v Speaker 2>it's been done. And then from there we're in a
<v Speaker 2>rough spot.
<v Speaker 1>Because we just got nothing.
<v Speaker 2>I don't really like most of these Endless Ocean Luminous
<v Speaker 2>was not good. It was very boring. They it was
<v Speaker 2>bad bones. They stripped away a lot that made party Jamboree.
<v Speaker 2>That's number two. That's number one.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, how do I forget that? Somebody shouts out.
<v Speaker 2>To Mario Party Jamboree.
<v Speaker 1>Shouts out to that Jebburey is sick.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, it's great.
<v Speaker 1>Sportsner E sports chatter at the.
<v Speaker 2>Remember that name for chatter of the day. Maria Party Jamboree.
<v Speaker 2>Sports Nerd is the best Mario party we've had in
<v Speaker 2>your ears. It's so good, it's so much fun. It's
<v Speaker 2>old school, classic Mario party back, but in a brand
<v Speaker 2>new fresh way. I love it and I would play
<v Speaker 2>at any time. That's number one. Zouder is number two.
<v Speaker 2>Paper Mario thousand New Doors number three. As I was saying,
<v Speaker 2>undless Ocean Luminous wasn't good, didn't hit. I think the
<v Speaker 2>Wee games were actually better. Mario Verse Donkey Kong is
<v Speaker 2>just another remake and a different art style. And I
<v Speaker 2>didn't even play.
<v Speaker 1>It wasn't this year. Wasn't just mentioned? Is this person?
<v Speaker 1>This person? This year?
<v Speaker 2>Was Luigi's mansion too? HD, Oh, don't like it's not
<v Speaker 2>even making the top fire, don't worry about it. Well,
<v Speaker 2>I forgot like so many games.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, shouts out Luigi, though.
<v Speaker 2>Shouts out Luigi. Number four set them free by default,
<v Speaker 2>I think is Mario and Luigi Brothership. It brings quality
<v Speaker 2>art style and cut scenes into an otherwise very mid game.
<v Speaker 2>I don't like it personally, but for and please don't
<v Speaker 2>take this the wrong way, but for baby's first RPG,
<v Speaker 2>or like a younger audience looking at playing an RPG.
<v Speaker 3>A few games for younger audiences this year. The Peach
<v Speaker 3>Game is definitely.
<v Speaker 2>The Peach Game. Also is very smaller audience or a
<v Speaker 2>little a littler audience.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Number five, Yeah, a lot of these socks hard press
<v Speaker 2>sock equally. Number five is probably Princess Peach Showtime. Again,
<v Speaker 2>it's good for a younger crowd. It's a quality game.
<v Speaker 2>It's just super simple. You kind of go through the motions,
<v Speaker 2>but it's polished. I put it on the list of
<v Speaker 2>Peep Showtime and it's new. I I mean, look, I
<v Speaker 2>don't think even if you argue with the order of
<v Speaker 2>that five, I think we can all agree that another
<v Speaker 2>code Endless Ocean, Fitness Boxing, Mario Verse, Donkey Kong, and
<v Speaker 2>Luigi's mentioned two HD don't even deserve to break the
<v Speaker 2>top five. Mm hmm, kind of it an average year? Huh,
<v Speaker 2>didn't play it much? Yeah, pretty much.
<v Speaker 1>This list is the definition of mid.
<v Speaker 2>It's like, okay, settle down, I said.
<v Speaker 1>Also worth mentioning, by the way, I didn't only play
<v Speaker 1>two hours of Jebuary this year because I've played on
<v Speaker 1>other people's Yeah yeah, you played it with us, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>and with my friend, so all right, yeah cool.
<v Speaker 2>I just wanted to do that for fun. We can
<v Speaker 2>clip that and see if it upsets people. It will,
<v Speaker 2>but I wasn't trying to.
<v Speaker 1>It'll it'll always upset somebody, you know.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, this is interesting. So the Switch to this is
<v Speaker 2>just a small little thing, has officially outsold the placed
<v Speaker 2>it sorry, the switch. Switch has officially out sold the
<v Speaker 2>PlayStation two. So then it's just another record that the
<v Speaker 2>Switch is breaking lifetime sales that the Switch just now
<v Speaker 2>exceeded those at the PlayStation two in the US market,
<v Speaker 2>where they it's forty six point six million units sold
<v Speaker 2>life to date, switch now ranks second and old time
<v Speaker 2>unit sold across all video game hardware platforms in the US,
<v Speaker 2>trailing only the Nintendo DS.
<v Speaker 3>That's wild, so.
<v Speaker 2>Nintendo were only failing to beat their own record at
<v Speaker 2>this point.
<v Speaker 3>I'm surprised the DS the most dspresing.
<v Speaker 1>I just it was.
<v Speaker 2>It was massive. Everybody had a DS.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, everybody on the school bus had a DS because it.
<v Speaker 3>Was a portable console and it was affordable.
<v Speaker 2>A large reason for that too was like picto chat
<v Speaker 2>and stuff like that at the time, where like all
<v Speaker 2>the kids wanted to Yeah, they were included, which again
<v Speaker 2>is such a was a huge misstep from the Switch
<v Speaker 2>not having something like that.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, man box me picto chatting underneath my desk and Hebrews.
<v Speaker 2>School, Yeah, in Hebrew School. But I mean it's one
<v Speaker 2>of them things where like maybe Nintendo knew they could
<v Speaker 2>bang without it, and then if they bring it into the.
<v Speaker 3>Switch too, I think they will.
<v Speaker 2>That just gives kids even more reason to pick it up.
<v Speaker 2>For people even more reason also, like me me verse, Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>if they bring stuff like that back or street pass.
<v Speaker 3>I feel like they will break streets if they're like
<v Speaker 3>banking on they.
<v Speaker 2>Got they got to pull out all this.
<v Speaker 3>Stop to bring out all the old stuff to.
<v Speaker 2>Try and beat the switch.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, and also like the communication thing, like there are
<v Speaker 3>games that there's like rumors that there's going to be
<v Speaker 3>multiplayer and also.
<v Speaker 1>Was wait was Mario RPG this year? Yeah?
<v Speaker 2>That doesn't make top five either. I don't like that.
<v Speaker 3>I think it was.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. I don't know why we keep forgetting that, but
<v Speaker 2>I got that list from a Reddit thread of like
<v Speaker 2>every game release this year, and all the comments were like, thanks,
<v Speaker 2>this is helpful, and I'm not realizing they missed.
<v Speaker 1>Like fourth missed a bunch of shit.
<v Speaker 2>To be fair, I should have noticed the.
<v Speaker 1>Best game of the year that was released.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, okay, do we want to do this is it's
<v Speaker 2>a bit of a risky one. We could move this
<v Speaker 2>into the bonus episode if you want to be safe.
<v Speaker 2>We're gonna vibe most search gaming terms on.
<v Speaker 1>P hub p hub.
<v Speaker 3>I feel like that's probably.
<v Speaker 2>A bonus bonus episode. That's trying to throw it out there.
<v Speaker 2>Would have done it. I think he did it last
<v Speaker 2>last time, Brave m m.
<v Speaker 3>Oh.
<v Speaker 2>Nintendo acquired monolost Monolith Studios. That was pretty big news.
<v Speaker 2>So Monolith Studios, they made the Xeno Blade games. Okay,
<v Speaker 2>you can cut to me, But a little known fact
<v Speaker 2>that some people know is Monolith over the years have
<v Speaker 2>actually helped Nintendo with a lot of their games, either
<v Speaker 2>with advice or technical know how, or just even actually
<v Speaker 2>helping them develop them. Some of those games included Zelda,
<v Speaker 2>Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, the
<v Speaker 2>Splatoon series, these uh Super Smash Brothers, Brawl, Animal Crossing,
<v Speaker 2>Pickman three, even Link between worlds.
<v Speaker 1>Hey, here's an idea, let's give let's give Pokemon to Monoliths.
<v Speaker 2>That would be sick. Actually, something that Monolor, something that
<v Speaker 2>Monolith excels in is taking the hardware from Nintender, like
<v Speaker 2>of the Switch, and really pushing it to its limits.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, say what you want about the Zeno Blade games,
<v Speaker 2>and I like a lot of them. Visually, they are
<v Speaker 2>outstanding what they managed to do on the system, the
<v Speaker 2>worlds and the environments that they create. I mean, we
<v Speaker 2>you and I had a look at a Zeno Blade
<v Speaker 2>game next to Scarlet and Violet or whatever, and how
<v Speaker 2>abysmal the difference is between two game developers on the
<v Speaker 2>same console. Yeah, so h And also with them to
<v Speaker 2>even that suffer side designing a long running series is
<v Speaker 2>that people love in Zeno Blade exclusively for the Switch.
<v Speaker 2>It makes sense for Nintendo to have full ownership, I suppose,
<v Speaker 2>and acquire them and have them be one of their studios.
<v Speaker 3>I think that's pretty cool. Yeah, so that's going to
<v Speaker 3>be interesting to see what they make now.
<v Speaker 2>This well it would be this Zeno Blade Well yeah,
<v Speaker 2>but like.
<v Speaker 3>What else all the stuff they've done that we didn't
<v Speaker 3>even know about.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean, I'm sure they'll keep helping Nintendo with things,
<v Speaker 2>but I assume they're going to keep making xeno Blade games.
<v Speaker 2>From a small two thousand and seven acquisition to now
<v Speaker 2>having one hundred percent ownership seventeen years later, Nintendo now
<v Speaker 2>fully owns one of the best studios in the game industry,
<v Speaker 2>Monolith Studios. Monolith is known for Xeno Blade games, but
<v Speaker 2>has also helps them with all of those games we
<v Speaker 2>were talking about. They've been rated as one of the
<v Speaker 2>best companies to work for in Japan, with an incredibly
<v Speaker 2>welcoming and flexible work environment, and have given their staff
<v Speaker 2>raises from the success of Ino Blades rising popularity. It
<v Speaker 2>will be incredible to see what this amazing studio is
<v Speaker 2>able to produce moving forward to the next generation with
<v Speaker 2>the switch to cool, very cool, very happy, it seems
<v Speaker 2>all good all round. And uh yeah, if you didn't know,
<v Speaker 2>Monolith probably helped in some of your favorite games on switch.
<v Speaker 1>Crazy exciting news, very nice.
<v Speaker 2>Very big for everybody. Big news, big.
<v Speaker 1>News, big.
<v Speaker 2>I'm hunting out of dup points se. I don't usually
<v Speaker 2>go for two hours. What about this? What about this
<v Speaker 2>flute guy?
<v Speaker 1>Flute guy?
<v Speaker 2>Here?
<v Speaker 3>He is?
<v Speaker 1>Show me the flute guy?
<v Speaker 2>Would flute guy, I'll bless you.
<v Speaker 1>Can you turn it up a bit?
<v Speaker 2>Nope, I don't know how I pleaded bays flute here?
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, here is Mike Nigerian flute.
<v Speaker 2>I'm more mental on TikTok oh no no again a
<v Speaker 2>tiny bit? Yeah yeah, electric flute.
<v Speaker 3>Electric flute on my granted eyes.
<v Speaker 1>That's sick.
<v Speaker 2>So, I mean, obviously he's embracing this meme that he's become,
<v Speaker 2>which is awesome. I don't know how many views this has,
<v Speaker 2>but it has one hundred thousand likes. Everybody loves this
<v Speaker 2>guy is the star of the show. Yeah, like I
<v Speaker 2>set this in my reaction video. But him and I
<v Speaker 2>think his name is Josef from Hayslighte Studios. My two
<v Speaker 2>favorite people that are a part of this show that
<v Speaker 2>we see every year. This fluke guy, like he goes
<v Speaker 2>hard at the Game Awards.
<v Speaker 3>I wanted to Yeah, it's cool that he's showing all
<v Speaker 3>the flutes because I swear to God every time they
<v Speaker 3>cut to him and he had a different flute.
<v Speaker 2>Here's the huge one.
<v Speaker 1>That's a fluke?
<v Speaker 2>Is that even a fluke?
<v Speaker 5>Back?
<v Speaker 3>And I'll tell you how, he'll explain it all.
<v Speaker 2>So it's funny that like you barely hear it. It's
<v Speaker 2>more like it's more like bass. I guess.
<v Speaker 1>Is it just a bass flute? Is that what it is?
<v Speaker 2>Fantasy contra based mood. I never knew there were so
<v Speaker 2>many types of be honest, it sounds kind of.
<v Speaker 3>Ship hotly isolated.
<v Speaker 2>I think I can recreate it right now.
<v Speaker 1>Give me, give me, give me a Mexican coke bottle.
<v Speaker 3>It's important, is it?
<v Speaker 2>Because to be honest? Do you even hear it? In
<v Speaker 2>the background, he.
<v Speaker 3>Brings a vibe that they need all right, it's like
<v Speaker 3>a drum almost.
<v Speaker 2>It kind of sounds like it's making that song was.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe it's a maybe it's not a great song choice.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>Maybe it does something when you're on stage or like
<v Speaker 2>with a microphone.
<v Speaker 3>Acoustics make a difference. He's sitting in an office right now.
<v Speaker 1>It just sounds on this professional musician.
<v Speaker 2>By the way, the other flu sounded beautiful, but one
<v Speaker 2>does sound like a coke bottle that he's just yeah.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, but it looks how cool.
<v Speaker 2>It looks as long as it sure, But then he
<v Speaker 2>switches to the little one. The little one's sick.
<v Speaker 1>But like, Dog, that's that's PBC pipe right there, Like.
<v Speaker 3>I won't know how much that wait wait wait, the
<v Speaker 3>little ones no better. But in the song it sounded good.
<v Speaker 2>No, I'm sorry, it doesn't like right now. It doesn't
<v Speaker 2>right now. It sounds like something.
<v Speaker 1>Like Luigi blood in Chat. By the way, yeah said
<v Speaker 1>just said plus bad microphone, which I think is true. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I think it's just recording on their.
<v Speaker 3>Phone, so that acoustics.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, look, everything else was beautiful. That's why I wanted
<v Speaker 2>to show.
<v Speaker 3>I'm impressed by the amount of fluke this manhouse that
<v Speaker 3>he just switches to so casually.
<v Speaker 2>That thing's got to be thousand dollars, right, yeah, Chat,
<v Speaker 2>am I alone?
<v Speaker 1>I think, Dog, you're not alone. I don't know. I'm
<v Speaker 1>not I don't get it either.
<v Speaker 3>I'm just like, I think it's cool. You could think,
<v Speaker 3>of course, I think it's good.
<v Speaker 1>What about like a bassoon? You know, like a bassoon
<v Speaker 1>is cool like this is.
<v Speaker 2>It's just I've seen big.
<v Speaker 3>Instruments such a weird flute.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, okay, how it looks and how it sounds different.
<v Speaker 3>How it looks adds to the thing.
<v Speaker 1>It just kind of sounds like spitting to me a
<v Speaker 1>little bit.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, a little bit. But it's fun to watch it.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, that's not what we'll laughing at.
<v Speaker 3>I know. I'm just saying.
<v Speaker 1>He's so enthused about spitting into that PVC pipe like.
<v Speaker 3>Richard Simmons flutes.
<v Speaker 2>I love that guy.
<v Speaker 1>It's a good shout, good shout for sure. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>I want to go to chat. I want to see
<v Speaker 2>Luigi Blood. What you got going on, friend of the show?
<v Speaker 1>Friend of the show, of the show?
<v Speaker 2>My chat is beaming as it tries to catch up.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, for sure. It's also this more significant delay over
<v Speaker 1>here on YouTube.
<v Speaker 2>Speaking of Louis Blood.
<v Speaker 1>Tell me.
<v Speaker 2>That name is appropriate, huh. For the day, for the year,
<v Speaker 2>for the month.
<v Speaker 1>For the day, for the year, for the month, for
<v Speaker 1>the events that have happened in the world recently. We
<v Speaker 1>have blood, Luigi blood, Luigi out.
<v Speaker 2>For blood, Luigi coused some blood. Oh, Liz the last
<v Speaker 2>and Chat. I was going to say the same thing
<v Speaker 2>to spit in that flute.
<v Speaker 1>Spit in that flute.
<v Speaker 2>Hi, Liz, how you doing?
<v Speaker 1>That's good?
<v Speaker 5>Oh?
<v Speaker 2>Speaking of well, not really speaking of Liz, but it
<v Speaker 2>reminded me one of our top favorite cozy content creator.
<v Speaker 2>We do have a very close second cozy creator that
<v Speaker 2>we love here on this channel, and that's Cozy k
<v Speaker 2>And she was featured at the Game Awards. She had
<v Speaker 2>a whole moment with Tales of Shaya where she introduced
<v Speaker 2>that game and that was I was immediately texting her
<v Speaker 2>about it. So cool to see. And then also our
<v Speaker 2>friend Celia from Yacht Club Games was also out there
<v Speaker 2>on stage see her. I also recognized. His name's John JV.
<v Speaker 2>He used to work at pear Box when I was
<v Speaker 2>when we were living in Texas and I met him.
<v Speaker 2>He's so nice And while I was while we were
<v Speaker 2>living there, he got a job at Nintendo and he
<v Speaker 2>moved to Seattle to work at the Redmond office and
<v Speaker 2>he is the guy that's in charge of putting together
<v Speaker 2>the indie directs and stuff like that. And I saw
<v Speaker 2>him actually, let me find it. I saw him in
<v Speaker 2>the crowd and he tweeted this dancing hard during Snoop Dogg. Oh,
<v Speaker 2>my god, it was very funny.
<v Speaker 1>Hey, Lisz was in the crowd too. She was there.
<v Speaker 2>She was there.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, I didn't see her.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't see.
<v Speaker 3>To be fair, I wasn't looking for people knew necessarily
<v Speaker 3>recognize one person.
<v Speaker 1>I'm pretty sure, by the way, I'm not. I'm pretty
<v Speaker 1>sure that I saw her tweet that she was there.
<v Speaker 1>I feel bad now, list can confirm in Chad.
<v Speaker 2>I'm not logged into my Twitter, so actually I don't.
<v Speaker 2>I don't. I don't know how to spell his last name,
<v Speaker 2>so it's not coming up when I type in John V.
<v Speaker 1>Will.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, there we go. I just googled it and I
<v Speaker 2>found it. Hold on, give me a second here, God,
<v Speaker 2>I'm starving. We're gonna have to eat in between.
<v Speaker 3>The bonus control.
<v Speaker 2>I can tickn trop but we can get it. Okay,
<v Speaker 2>let me see how much has he been tweeting recently?
<v Speaker 1>Shall I swap to you?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah?
<v Speaker 3>There he is.
<v Speaker 2>There's no sound, but that's him during a Snoop DOGG.
<v Speaker 2>Just going, man, this is the guy that runs the
<v Speaker 2>indie department at nintender Head. Coach, is that's how.
<v Speaker 3>You want in charge?
<v Speaker 2>Somebody that he's a really, really, really nice So that's
<v Speaker 2>so me coded too, I'd be the same. He's a
<v Speaker 2>really nice guy and his wife is uh is very
<v Speaker 2>nice as well. And she's like full Disney princess. I
<v Speaker 2>don't know if I'll be able to find her. She's
<v Speaker 2>like obsessed with Disney.
<v Speaker 3>We don't know anyone like that.
<v Speaker 2>And she's just always dressed to the nines. Yeah. One.
<v Speaker 1>How many hours do you think she has the game in?
<v Speaker 2>What game?
<v Speaker 1>The game that Kim played for the entire Probably.
<v Speaker 5>A lot, probably a similar number. And she probably has
<v Speaker 5>all the hookups too, of course. All right, cool, tight, cool, cool,
<v Speaker 5>what time I'm getting cool?
<v Speaker 2>We got a lot more minutes.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, what's going on? What's going on with life? Dog?
<v Speaker 1>How's your life?
<v Speaker 2>What you want about life?
<v Speaker 3>Yeah?
<v Speaker 1>Episode of the year.
<v Speaker 2>We didn't do any like ship for a minute, you know,
<v Speaker 2>all right.
<v Speaker 3>What's updated? Well?
<v Speaker 2>Give me all right, give me a second that like,
<v Speaker 2>calm down and get out of like out of trying
<v Speaker 2>to force through entertainer mode.
<v Speaker 1>I mean we can still be an entertainer mode.
<v Speaker 2>It's just that like, no, no, I want to get real.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, you want to get real.
<v Speaker 2>The sun's gone down.
<v Speaker 1>I have a piece of glitter on your nose right now.
<v Speaker 2>Present. So this is the final episode of the year,
<v Speaker 2>which means I have done this show now the whole year.
<v Speaker 2>I'm not going to say the words on my own
<v Speaker 2>because I've had help through the whole year. This back
<v Speaker 2>half has been a lot of me and Ham and
<v Speaker 2>also a lot of me, Ham and Kim. Honestly, this
<v Speaker 2>show would probably not still be going without Ham and
<v Speaker 2>Kim at this point. Although big shout out to Max two,
<v Speaker 2>who is still very much a member of this crew
<v Speaker 2>and is constantly Actually he texted me, yeah.
<v Speaker 1>He also gave you his year in review for switch Oh.
<v Speaker 2>Let's check out.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah Max, he does the all the edits for the
<v Speaker 1>shorts for the podcast still, so yeah. He's also also
<v Speaker 1>he's He's also suggesting a lot of things for us
<v Speaker 1>to go over pretty consistently. So yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, he's always putting things into the discord for sure.
<v Speaker 2>I keep telling him to hitch a ride with you
<v Speaker 2>down one of these days.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Now he hit me up about it and I
<v Speaker 1>ignored him. No, No, I just I we just don't.
<v Speaker 1>We haven't found a date yet.
<v Speaker 2>So I also I tried to organize doing a final
<v Speaker 2>episode in the studio, but he is just really busy,
<v Speaker 2>like end of the year, and he has other jobs
<v Speaker 2>and everything, and it just unfortunately didn't pan out the
<v Speaker 2>way I wanted.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, the studio is popping off a little bit though.
<v Speaker 1>They're doing cool ship there.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, he's other things happening in the studio now, all right,
<v Speaker 2>his hand Sorry, Max is Action forty five percent Adventure
<v Speaker 2>twenty seven shooting sixteen tomb Raider. I get I don't
<v Speaker 2>understand what he's like. Hold on, cutaway. This can't be
<v Speaker 2>all of it.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I think he gave more than just that.
<v Speaker 2>So yeah, but one of them was not God. I
<v Speaker 2>hate Max. I really hate Max.
<v Speaker 1>I can't.
<v Speaker 3>Bib important.
<v Speaker 2>I'm doing everything I can my guy to get this
<v Speaker 2>tab to open.
<v Speaker 1>Here we go. It's just struggling with the Mac. He
<v Speaker 1>wanted to buy that Mac from me too.
<v Speaker 2>I don't want it anymore anymore? Do you I found
<v Speaker 2>I found another way. Yeah, okay, I'm just gonna tell you.
<v Speaker 2>Max's favorite game of the ye apparently was Cold of
<v Speaker 2>the Lamb. I guess he played the most. You can
<v Speaker 2>cut to this. He played twenty five games for one
<v Speaker 2>hundred and twenty one hours, which is almost on part
<v Speaker 2>with me. Imagine like sixty games but same amount of hours,
<v Speaker 2>which is funny, right, favorite game was called of the Lamb,
<v Speaker 2>And then I read that one already, so that was
<v Speaker 2>Max's there you go.
<v Speaker 1>Thanks Max.
<v Speaker 2>Let me bring up chat.
<v Speaker 1>Thanks for the super chat stave. By the way, folks,
<v Speaker 1>Paul Gale Network, it was in a crowd a few,
<v Speaker 1>a few here and there, you know, jured with the dollar.
<v Speaker 2>Appreciating let's read some. Andy Akerman with a five dollars
<v Speaker 2>super chat says the switch to his official name is Xbox.
<v Speaker 2>Everything is an Xbox. That's pretty funny. All Star Plush
<v Speaker 2>Studios with one. I hope the joy Cons aren't white
<v Speaker 2>too close to the O lad. Yeah, we talked about
<v Speaker 2>that and we agree. Ham Gang, says Rosoli with a five.
<v Speaker 1>That's my boy, my boy dad.
<v Speaker 2>X Driller with two switch to Lekas says switch body
<v Speaker 2>is colored too. Oh interesting, Okay. Rudy with twenty five PLN,
<v Speaker 2>I don't know what that is.
<v Speaker 1>That would be polish Zlotti.
<v Speaker 2>I never watched Live Dude at the time, difference, but
<v Speaker 2>just wanted to say thank you for another great year
<v Speaker 2>in which everyone and even better new year. Paul Gale
<v Speaker 2>Network with one. I was in the crowd wearing a
<v Speaker 2>Mario suit. Fun show and then jured with a dollar
<v Speaker 2>right now, Thank you all so much for the super chats,
<v Speaker 2>and if you want to send any more, I'll read
<v Speaker 2>them here at the tail end of the show tape. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I guess I don't really know what to look back on.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, the show has been through a lot of changes.
<v Speaker 2>We all tried to roll and move with those changes. Obviously,
<v Speaker 2>we've really settled on doing the shows in my house now,
<v Speaker 2>mostly because driving up to the studio was becoming far
<v Speaker 2>too much of a time sink and expensive. And also,
<v Speaker 2>you know, I talked about this already, I think in
<v Speaker 2>an episode. But he he, he's like a big time guy.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, he works for Guy Fieri, big time guy,
<v Speaker 2>and I just got to the point where it didn't
<v Speaker 2>make financial sense for him for me to go into
<v Speaker 2>the studio. You're off, can't remember once or twice a
<v Speaker 2>month at the rate I was paying. So it just
<v Speaker 2>ended up it made more sense for all of us
<v Speaker 2>if it just left the studio. And we did talk about,
<v Speaker 2>you know, doing special episodes there once in a while
<v Speaker 2>if it lined up, and I tried to do one
<v Speaker 2>for this month, but I just don't think it lined up,
<v Speaker 2>and I think these priorities have like just shifted past
<v Speaker 2>the show now because we're doing it here as well,
<v Speaker 2>which is completely fine and understandable.
<v Speaker 1>But we could do we do one in the in
<v Speaker 1>the new year.
<v Speaker 2>At the Yeah, I was trying to I'm going to
<v Speaker 2>try and organize. I don't want to promise anything, but
<v Speaker 2>I'd like to organize the return show to be in
<v Speaker 2>the studio would be. I mean, we're going up to
<v Speaker 2>New York this week anyway, We're going to go do
<v Speaker 2>the Christmas Village. And that's why I was trying to,
<v Speaker 2>like very exciting, you know, Tim, But I appreciate everybody
<v Speaker 2>that's been watching the show for the whole year and
<v Speaker 2>stuck with us. You guys know, it means a lot
<v Speaker 2>to me. Obviously the Patreons too, wouldn't be doing this
<v Speaker 2>if it wasn't for the Patreons. They make it possible.
<v Speaker 2>Another reason why we keep doing it, and the reason
<v Speaker 2>why I keep doing it despite pretty much every week
<v Speaker 2>only having rumors and switch two weeks to talk about,
<v Speaker 2>is because I mean, next year is the year. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>like next year we're going to get to switched to
<v Speaker 2>to finally stop talking about it and actually get it
<v Speaker 2>and have a Nintendo themed podcast at a time where
<v Speaker 2>things are actually happening with Nintendo. Because even when Bob
<v Speaker 2>and I started the show, we started it at like
<v Speaker 2>the tail end, and we always said even like right
<v Speaker 2>off the rip, and like for the first year, we
<v Speaker 2>were like, there's nothing to talk about, like what do
<v Speaker 2>we do on a Nintendo theme podcast? So actually having
<v Speaker 2>that next year will be awesome.
<v Speaker 1>What I can say also, is it not just not
<v Speaker 1>just the switch too right, but and this is something
<v Speaker 1>you mentioned last time, we're teetering closer and closer to
<v Speaker 1>that one hundred.
<v Speaker 2>Thousand subscriber mark. Yeah, which is a nice little goal
<v Speaker 2>to be going for. I definitely want to try and
<v Speaker 2>hit that.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, And if you guys are watching right now, when
<v Speaker 1>you're not subscribed to the podcast, then hit the sub button.
<v Speaker 1>It's free to do, easy.
<v Speaker 2>And then hopefully if the show grows next year and
<v Speaker 2>sees growth from Nintender being more active, I would like
<v Speaker 2>to get back to a place where we were doing
<v Speaker 2>you know, guests and like more fun things and then
<v Speaker 2>episodes at coffee shops and getting more crew involved and
<v Speaker 2>maybe maybe eventually down the line looking into a new
<v Speaker 2>home for the show that's not in my basement. But
<v Speaker 2>that's all things that will come in time and we'll
<v Speaker 2>have to see. But I know a lot of I
<v Speaker 2>always I always meant to go to California and do
<v Speaker 2>episodes with other people, like because Kent and Christa wanted
<v Speaker 2>us to come on kind of funny games want us
<v Speaker 2>to come on. A lot of people that came to
<v Speaker 2>us were like, Okay, now you come to me, and
<v Speaker 2>I just never did because I hate flying. But hopefully
<v Speaker 2>again next year, if everything is good with the show
<v Speaker 2>and it picks up and it stays consistent, at least
<v Speaker 2>we can look at going over there and doing some
<v Speaker 2>shows maybe. So yeah, I mean that's that's it. Everything is,
<v Speaker 2>everything is normal.
<v Speaker 1>Other than that, I.
<v Speaker 2>Don't really know what else to say or what else
<v Speaker 2>to reminisce on. I mean, hey man, I appreciate everything.
<v Speaker 1>I'm proud of you, and I'm proud of us for
<v Speaker 1>sticking to it and making it happen. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>I think I almost quit like four times.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I was there. I had to pull you off
<v Speaker 1>that a little bit, you know.
<v Speaker 2>But there are people that are passionate about the show,
<v Speaker 2>and they really do enjoy it, and I appreciate it
<v Speaker 2>because at this point, you know, it's it's coming out
<v Speaker 2>of my brain and it's obviously me trying to construct
<v Speaker 2>an entertaining hour or two of you life. And if
<v Speaker 2>you're still enjoying the show, I really do appreciate it,
<v Speaker 2>and I really do I do try my best.
<v Speaker 1>I try my best too.
<v Speaker 2>I feel like a lot of the comments that used
<v Speaker 2>to get me down about the show and on the show,
<v Speaker 2>I've definitely slowed down, which is nice. And I don't
<v Speaker 2>know if it's like people's burnout of they've just finally
<v Speaker 2>given up on the show, if they weren't happy after
<v Speaker 2>the change, or.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I think people just don't like change. They're just
<v Speaker 1>like they wanted to find shit they complained about. So
<v Speaker 1>but we've been doing it the same way for quite
<v Speaker 1>a bit.
<v Speaker 2>That was tough. That was definitely pushing me away from
<v Speaker 2>the show because it felt like no matter how much
<v Speaker 2>I put in, people weren't happy, which was another reason why,
<v Speaker 2>Like the show changed format so many times, and I
<v Speaker 2>kept panicking and changing it from like I guest host
<v Speaker 2>every episode to doing it's more like a live show
<v Speaker 2>than a podcast. I just kept changing it because I
<v Speaker 2>was like, nothing is making people happy, and I didn't
<v Speaker 2>know where to go with it. And then ultimately we
<v Speaker 2>did this format and I really liked it and I
<v Speaker 2>thought it was fun, and I was like, well, I
<v Speaker 2>don't that's what I want to do. And sometimes I
<v Speaker 2>think about like having two microphones and two couches and
<v Speaker 2>doing a traditional podcast episode that's pre recorded and then
<v Speaker 2>we can edit it just for fun like here or there,
<v Speaker 2>But for the most part, like this, I have more
<v Speaker 2>fun doing it this way.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, And I think that's what's important, because that's how
<v Speaker 3>you're going to stake in.
<v Speaker 2>Story. In my life, when we make videos, I always
<v Speaker 2>have to I mike her here or like wherever I
<v Speaker 2>have a mic, and then I also give her a
<v Speaker 2>personal mic, and my editor always has to use the
<v Speaker 2>personal mic.
<v Speaker 3>True, I'm an habitual mumbler.
<v Speaker 1>Sorry, you gotta get her one of those one of
<v Speaker 1>those like beige ones that like Max and Check.
<v Speaker 3>The Broadway musicals stick to your foreheads.
<v Speaker 2>They're really expensive. They're like a thousand dollars because there's
<v Speaker 2>such a small mic. If you want it quality of this,
<v Speaker 2>you got to spend a lot of money. And I'll
<v Speaker 2>do a lot of like equeuing to it to make
<v Speaker 2>it sound. Yeah, Kim, like all these years of making
<v Speaker 2>content content with me, she's never really learned like to
<v Speaker 2>talk into a microphone.
<v Speaker 1>I think we got to just I think it's because
<v Speaker 1>you're too far away from it.
<v Speaker 2>You just gotta in front of you on me, and
<v Speaker 2>we'll be like like deep throat and like crazy.
<v Speaker 3>I just feel weird.
<v Speaker 1>I don't I don't like. I don't like these mic
<v Speaker 1>arms by the way, because they're like they're too stiff, right.
<v Speaker 1>My mic arm is very loose and like when I'm
<v Speaker 1>moving around talking on my stream, like the bring the
<v Speaker 1>mic with me everywhere I go, you know, very animated
<v Speaker 1>with it. That's me.
<v Speaker 2>He's just quiet. We love it. Quiet.
<v Speaker 1>Also shouts out to Jerah with the nine nine super Chat.
<v Speaker 1>Appreciate you, congrats on another year. Oh you got it
<v Speaker 1>for it.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know if you're going to read it. Congrats
<v Speaker 2>on another year the podcast. Much love to the t
<v Speaker 2>have a wonderful holiday break. Thank you so much, Jared.
<v Speaker 2>I appreciate you, and I appreciate all of you, and
<v Speaker 2>I hope you will have a great holiday and you
<v Speaker 2>get all the presents you want or you see what
<v Speaker 2>the people you want to see, and you have a
<v Speaker 2>fun time and you stay happy and healthy, and we
<v Speaker 2>see you next year for the show.
<v Speaker 1>This is my first Christmas present this year. Yeah, I
<v Speaker 1>think probably my only one. Actually, I'm not gonna lie.
<v Speaker 1>I don't. I'm not getting like Christmas presents from or
<v Speaker 1>like Honka presents really from a lot of people, but
<v Speaker 1>your parents. You know what about your parents? Would I don't.
<v Speaker 2>I don't. I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe our situation is not so different, you know, Yes.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know that situation with you. You've never thought
<v Speaker 2>it's so different. It's well, we can talk, we can,
<v Speaker 2>we can move into the bonus. We can do we
<v Speaker 2>can we can dive into a little bit. If you
<v Speaker 2>guys want to know more about our personal lives than
<v Speaker 2>you can, we could do that in the Bonus episode,
<v Speaker 2>in the Bonus and the Thing. Yeah, yeah, I mean
<v Speaker 2>every year I only get presents for Kim and give
<v Speaker 2>presents to Kim, mostly Kim. Actually she's good at getting
<v Speaker 2>our friends stuff. And then she just say it's from us.
<v Speaker 2>I do, I didn't do Anything's nothing wrong with that.
<v Speaker 2>I probably only buy you a gift, honestly. Yeah, And
<v Speaker 2>then Kim.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, hey, listen, listen. At the end of the day,
<v Speaker 1>all I have to say is that the bonus episode's coming, okay,
<v Speaker 1>and that's for the Patreons. And I'm gonna put the
<v Speaker 1>Patreon scroll on the screen right now because we're two
<v Speaker 1>hours and three minutes in the episode.
<v Speaker 2>So yeah, all right, we got an I don't know how,
<v Speaker 2>but we got an hour long bonus episode coming.
<v Speaker 1>We're so gonna shoot the ship on that for sure,
<v Speaker 1>Like we're gonna.
<v Speaker 2>I'm trying to decide if that's even if we'll see
<v Speaker 2>maybe forty five type forty type. We'll do what we
<v Speaker 2>can over there, but either way, we're gonna look at
<v Speaker 2>the most searched gaming terms on p Hub in the
<v Speaker 2>bonus episode, as well as just maybe getting some fun
<v Speaker 2>holiday talk or maybe not so fun possible channeling trauma
<v Speaker 2>dumping a little bit. You know, we haven't trauma dumped
<v Speaker 2>in a while.
<v Speaker 3>Why not.
<v Speaker 1>I'm a good day. I'm not a good day. It's
<v Speaker 1>gonna have a good outlook on it. I have a
<v Speaker 1>desk now, so I'm.
<v Speaker 2>Happy that was another present. Yeah, for the show is
<v Speaker 2>a highlight of my week, much love. It's the highlight
<v Speaker 2>of our weeks too, and it're definitely a part of
<v Speaker 2>my week. That's a highlight. Don't forget about trade to.
<v Speaker 2>The link should be below. I will immediately put that
<v Speaker 2>link below as soon as we end. Please go to trade.
<v Speaker 2>They get so mad at me when I forget that link,
<v Speaker 2>and I always forget it. Guys, we will see you
<v Speaker 2>next year. Yeah, like comment, subscribe, five stars, all of that.
<v Speaker 2>If if whatever reason, the switch gets revealed, switch to
<v Speaker 2>gets revealed before we come back, maybe we'll do an
<v Speaker 2>emergency episode. Otherwise that's it. We're out, and I'll post
<v Speaker 2>a Twitter in the community tab here on YouTube when
<v Speaker 2>we're going to come back. Thank you so much Ham
<v Speaker 2>for this year helping and driving down here every week. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>it means a lot, that's me. It means lots of
<v Speaker 2>people watching.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure it was my lower thirds, so I can't
<v Speaker 1>cut cut away from myself until it goes away. And
<v Speaker 1>take that opportunity to tell you that I'll be streaming
<v Speaker 1>from this basement tonight twitsch out, TV, Slash, Ham and
<v Speaker 1>Shatter and What'll probably show up and say some obscenities
<v Speaker 1>into the microphone. That's what I do.
<v Speaker 2>And then Kim, who has become the unofficial co host
<v Speaker 2>of the show and really stepped up and helped. And
<v Speaker 2>people love you, and I love you, and it means
<v Speaker 2>a lot to me that you take this time.
<v Speaker 3>It's fun. I enjoy it the best.
<v Speaker 1>All right, Happy holidays, everybody, Goodbye, see you next time.
