Ep:55 They Always Follow The Creeks

this podcasting. This is Bigfoot Crossroads. I'm Matt and I am joined by
my guest, Tyler Howell of Florida. Let's just get right into it,
man, So take us back. You're a young teenage boy deer hunting in
a southern Alabama. Yeah, yeah, southern southeast Alabama. So it was
right outside of a small town called Union Springs. Um, and it was
back in a point in time where you could least prime deer hunting land from
somebody on a firm handshakee um. It's just different. These times are different.
Now you won't find hunting land like that anywhere. But anyways, so
it's a big, big chunk of land and I'm pretty I'm pretty much sitting
right in the middle of it. And it is a good ways from any
any house. I mean it's maybe three two three miles maybe to the nearest
burning light bulb. I mean, it's it's out there. Well, I
was sitting in some planted pines and I'm about thirty maybe forty feet up a
pine tree and a climb and tree stand, and off my left shoulder there's
is the ridge line and it goes all the way down to this creek and
up the other side of the hill, and it's just a big hardwood bottom.
You could hear a deer coming from a mile. But I sitting to
my tree stand and it's starting to get dark, and there's a point in
time deer hunting that my dad calls the magical hour, and that's when there's
barely just enough shooting light left, like you can barely see the cross says
in your scope. And it's getting almost of that time, and I hear
something coming down the creek. First I was thinking though it might have been
a deer. Then it just got a little bit louder, a little louder,
and as it was getting closer, I was like, wait a minute,
that water is moving pretty good. Because you can't hear that creek flowing
sitting in to my tree, you can't hear the unf it is a still
day, you won't be able to hear it. And the water that it
was being moved. You know. It's I described to people like, imagine
if you're belly high in some water at the beach and you got to get
to the hill real quick, you're gonna pump your legs. You're gonna,
you know, move that water. It's gonna make noise. Yeah, that's
what it sounded like, just that swo swoosh. Yes, like it literally
sounded like leg it's just pumping through this water. I'm like, dude,
what's happening? And as it gets closer and closer and closer, is getting
louder. At this point in time, I see something and it just looked
like a big man, and it was dark colored. That's because the amount
of light that was left it was almost dark, so all I can see
was just a silhouette of something large and dark working its way through that creek
and up the hill to the ridgeline. It just looked like a big man.
And I knew it wasn't my dad, because you know, from deer
hunting my whole life and sitting in tree stands when my dad walking through the
woods, you know, I'm pretty good at gauging height. You know,
I've hunted on public land too. My whole life here where I live,
and I always see people walking through the woods that I'm sitting in a tree
stands, So I'm pretty good at gauging roughly the size of it. Man,
And it was just massive. Now, was it down in the creek?
Whenever you thought it still? But when I when I first seen it,
it was in the creek. It came out of the creek. I
started working his way up the hill to the ridgeline and to those planted pines
that I was sitting in. So I would assume that if it was down
in a creek, it had to be pretty good size for you to be
able to see it. Oh yeah, well, I mean that creek.
That creek though, I mean it's not very deep, Like there's a couple
holes in it, you know that I could go jump in, yeah,
and it'd probably come up to my chest maybe, but for the most part
it's No, it's about a little above my belly button, I guess.
I mean I'm six foot four, so I mean that's but yeah, there's
some deep holes in that creek. And um, I mean I've think a
full wheeler in it. Yeah, he was. He was just jumping through
that creek. Whenever you saw it come up out of the creek, were
you able to get a good view of it, like the full size of
it and everything. I mean, he was probably mean think here sixty five
yards maybe from where I was sitting seventy yards tops, So I mean it
was hard really the gage, I guess, but I could tell it was
much bigger just from looking at it from that distance. I was like,
man, that's a big man, you know what I mean. That's the
only way I can really describe it is did you ever put your scope on
it? Now? I just sat there and watched it. Man, it
was brief. It was maybe i'd say a minute and a half tops.
Did it ever give any indication that it knew you were there? Absolutely not.
It's like he had his mind made up and he was heading somewhere.
But yeah, I don't think he caught wind to me because the wind was
coming from my back and it was going in the direction he was going,
so there's no way he could smelt me. Now, typically I don't know
that the exact setup you had at that location, but a lot of times
hunters will set up deer tend to follow the same routes in and out of
an area you know, they know about at one time of the day and
come back at another time of the day. Was this thing coming from a
direction that might lead you to believe it was following the deer path? Oh?
Yeah, he was right on a game trail, man. That's why
I was sitting on that ridgeline, because as deer will come slipping down that
creek here in the middle of the day and they'll go up into them pines
because it's sticking there, and they'll bed down in the evening. So I
mean, I was sitting in the same tree that I killed a buck in
the year before, the fact that I can remember which tree it is,
in the middle of the thousand makeup plot. Yeah, never ending indication that
something out of the ordinary was hanging out there before then. Never, Nope.
I felt more comfortable sitting up that tree stand alone in the middle of
nowhere than I would being in the middle of the city. So after this
thing walks off and gets out of you, what do you do. So
at this point in time, I'm sitting there after he gets out of you,
it's almost pretty much dark. I could barely see the ground, and
I'm like, holy shit, you know, I gotta get down out of
my tree. Excuse the language, But at that point, at that point
in time, though, I wasn't thinking bigfoot. I wasn't you know,
thinking anything like that. I didn't believe in anything like that. I've seen
all the stuff on TV growing up, on the History Channel. But I
just I was like, nah, come on, man, I've been in
there was my whole entire life. Something's out there. I'd have done seen
it by now because I turkey hunt in deer hunt in camp fish like all
year round. So but I wasn't thinking anything like that. So I just,
you know, get down out of my tree and take my climber off
the tree and put it together like a backpack. Because it was I think
Saturday evening and we were going back home, back to Florida, and so
I didn't want to leave my climber in the tree because I didn't know when
I was going to be back to get it. So I took it apart,
and you can put it together like a backpack, and it's got you
know, strap backpack traps. You can carry it through the woods. So
I got it home and come out of those pines and step off in the
road and I'm walking down the trail, you know, it's just a little
bitty pig trail and get to the almost to the edge of these pines and
on. So when you step out on the edge of the pines, it's
just a big sage grass field. It's like that golden colored like grass like
almost looks like wheat. You know, it's about you know, waist high.
Yeah, it's just a big just a big field of it. And
on the other side of that field, yes, a truck. And you
know, I can see my dad at the truck because the dome light is
on on the inside of a truck. So I took one step out of
the woods, you know, and something scream yelled, hollered, whatever you
want to call it. And dude, it was it was so loud,
like I could feel a reverberate from my body. It's like if you've been
doing like a rock concert, you can feel the base, you know,
just boom boom, like it's like making your clothes move. That's what it
felt like. And I dropped that climber, dude, and Iran and I
never went back to get it. Yeah, what'd you say to your dad
when you got to the truck. M Well, the first thing, you
know, I got out of the truck. I was wide eyed, and
he was like, what's the matter? I said, did you hear that?
He said? Yeah. I was like, what do you think I
was? He's like, oh, I could have been a dog or something.
You know. He didn't. He didn't think much of it, and
to this day he doesn't think it was nothing. You know. Every time
I tried to talk about it with him, he's like hogwash, you know,
yeah, which makes me wonder did he actually see something a long time
ago and not want to relive it and talk about it and just forget it
or what? Because he hunts just as much as I do, and I
assume hunted the same area as that for quite a lot. Oh yeah,
my whole pretty much most of my childhood into my teenage years, and also
here at home on the public land where he bow hunts at. There has
been numerous reports of these things messing with the hunters out there. I've been
spending a lot of time out there. Before you got to the edge of
the field and heard the scream, the vocalization, after you got down out
of the tree and packed up and everything, did you feel nervous or afraid
at any point in time during this whole encounter, until the scream, not
at all. I felt like it was just a normal night getting out of
the woods, and it just looked like, you know, in my head,
I was like, you know, that was just somebody walking through the
woods, you know, could have got lost, could have been a homeless
guy or whatever. You know. I didn't think much of it. It
was just like another night, get down of my tree, you know,
going back to the truck. I mean, I did find it odd that
somebody come walking through there, you know, because I'm on private land versus
public land, right, So I did find that odd, But I just
kind of just shook it off like it was nothing. Just keep well.
Did you make a mental connection between the scream and what you had seen?
No, I didn't. Um It's almost like trying to think of the best
way to put this. Um. It's almost like I phased out for like
a brief second, like I don't know, it was I didn't know what
to for a brief second. I didn't know whether to stay there or run.
Huh, Yeah, it was. It was. It was weird,
man, it was I don't know it's just because of how loud it was
and how much I felt it go through my body, like I was just
kind of like shook a little bit. I don't know, that's really interesting.
I mean, you know, we'll get more into this. But as
time went on and you got older, you started investigating this stuff out in
the field, and I'm sure that you're familiar with a lot of the various
theories out there, including infras out and yeah, no, I believe that's
I believe that's a real thing. You know. Tigers use it to kind
of stun their prey in place, you know, to make them easier to
get, and it kind of sounds like that's what you experienced. You know.
I've thought about that over the years, um, but I just wasn't
sure because it was so long ago, man, And I mean I still
remember, I still remember everything that happened, you know, and how I
felt. But it's just I don't know if I could just go back in
time to like relive the feeling that I would happened that brief second, you
know, i'd like to know. I was going to say, you're quad
only like fourteen at the time. Thirteen thirteen, jeez, yeah. I
mean that's a lot to process for a thirteen year old boy. Yeah.
Yeah, but I just, you know, I kind of just wrote it
off. I didn't hunt like the next year or two after that. Um,
I came up with excuses to not, you know, go hunting,
because just the scream, the yell is what really screwed me up. I
mean I still hear it in my sleep sometimes. Jeez. Yeah, I'll
carry you that with me the rest of my life. I'll never I'll never
forget it. Um. But yeah, it's uh, it took me a
little bit to get back to where I was comfortable being in the woods again.
UM, I will tell you this though, I'm not a fan of
being in the woods at night unarmed anymore. Yeah, but I mean,
given everything I've got, I mean, it'll only be for protection purposes only.
Like, I would never try to kill one of these things. I'm
completely against it. But if it was like me or it, you know,
I'm gonna go out blazing. Yeah, man, all bets are off.
Then. Yeah. So when did you decide to like start actively pursuing
these things. Well, as I got a little bit older, you know,
going in you know, through middle school and there was more things coming
out on television, you know, about big Foot and stuff, and I
just kind of started watching on TV one day and people were describing some of
the things they saw. I was like, you know, that's kind of
similar to what I experienced a little bit, just silhouette of a big dark
man, you know. And then YouTube came about when I was in high
school and people started posting stuff with like audio clips of these things screaming in
the woods and all kinds of stuff, and I'm like, oh my gosh,
man, I've been hearing these sounds my entire life and I didn't even
know what it was. And that's when everything clicked, you know, and
came a whole piece because over my years growing up with my dad, I
would always tell my dad, you know, I heard some the words.
It didn't sound right, you know, that was odd, or it just
didn't sound normal, or it was something I've never heard before, and he
would just be like, I would play tricks on you. That is interesting
about how he just kind of continues to, you know, brush it off
as nothing. Yeah, I know, but I don't. I don't poke
at him about it, right, He'll like, we actually spoke on the
phone to day and he asked me know how my bigfoot stuff was going,
and I was like, damn, he's actually once you know what's going on.
So yeah, I told him what was going on, and told him
there's a lady's house not far from here. I've been working her poverty now
for a couple of weeks and she's got stuff going on up there. You
ended up getting some pretty interesting video, yeah, that you posted. Would
you mind talking about that a little bit? Yeah, for sure. Um.
So at this point in time in my life, um, I was
married, I had a five year old son, five going on six at
this point in time, and I was managing a restaurant on the beach,
so it was a very busy restaurant. I barely had time off and my
days off for the middle of the week. I never could have weekends off,
so I, you know, get up, take him to school,
and I'd go to the woods all day and hike whatever. Because I didn't
have time to hunt anymore. So I picked up hiking, and you know,
I was coming out of the woods one day middle of the week.
I think it was a Wednesday afternoon, probably around like one thirty two o'clock.
And I'm coming out of the woods and there's a big power line and
it goes all the way to the river. If you literally parked the truck
and walk down this huge power line, it's just a clear cut. You'll
run right all you'll literally walk into Shoal River. So I pulled up there
and I'm sitting there, rolled the windows down, turn the car off.
You know, it's Los Hilly, but I prefer the cold weather because I
got my big jacket on, I got the windows down. Wind's blowing a
little bit, and I see something come walking out of the woods. First
I thought it was somebody, and then I realized how dark colored it was,
and I'm like, wait a minute, that's a little odd. I
look down my watch and thought it was pushing almost two o'clock. I'm like,
someone's gonna be out here deer hunting. They're gonna be in their true
stand by now. And the wind's blowing like hell. No one's gonna be
bow hunting in this weather. And it's on a Wednesday afternoon, And if
you're slipping through the woods. Most hunters wear Hunters Orange, and the archery
area out here, you don't have to wear it. Bow hunting, but
you figured they'd still wear it slipping through the woods at least just to be
smart. But I didn't think much of it, you know. But it
was still weighing heavily on my the line a little bit, and it started
picking things up off the ground, like crawling around on its hands and knees.
And I'm like, too, what is this guy doing? But I
started thinking about it, and as I'm sitting here watching him, like,
man, people don't do that. That's that's not normal. And it got
up and started walking again, and that's when I pulled up my phone started
recording. I was sitting in my driver's seat recording. Had it zoomed all
the way in? And I got out of the car and walked all the
way to the gated cable in front of me, you know, filming this
thing. I've gotten so much backlash like why didn't you zoom man? Why
didn't you zoom in? And I was zoomed all the way in on this
iPhone thirteen that I'm speaking on right now. He was five hundred and sixty
four yards from where I was standing. But just the color of it,
man, was just odd. And once it gets to the other side of
the power line. I walked back to my car. First thing I do
is I FaceTime my mom and she was like, you look like you've just
seen a ghost. She's like, your fate. Your face is sheet paper
white. I said, Mom, I'm looking at something, but I don't
know what I'm looking at. And it's looking at me. And at this
point in time, it's literally on the edge of the tree line and has
its hands reached out on each side around two small pine saplings, and it
starts rocking back and forth, and you could see these pine saplings moving.
I wish I'd caught that on film. Man, Oh my gosh, I
wish I could have. But I didn't think much of it. You know,
i'd believe to go get my kid. But yeah, So I put
that video up and Matt Moneymaker from BFR got ahold of me and asked me
if I would start a YouTube channel, and I said, yeah, sure,
why not. I never thought about it, so I did and boom,
it blew up. You know, I'm thinking, I'm moms at forty
thousand views on YouTube with that video, and I've had numerous people reach out
to me about that video, and I've meant a lot of good people that
are interested in the subject. You know, it's good community. Doug Hicheck
took a look at it, didn't he. Yeah, he did. Um,
he told me to send it into him. I'll reach something. My
buddy Matt, And because he sent stuff to Doug before, he's like,
oh, yeah, Doug was a cool guy. You know, He's like,
here's his contact info, you know, reach out to him. He
fell him, Sure, he'll look at it, so he did, and
his analysis is pretty interesting. Um, the way he was able to actually
inspect the image. Um, it's very very interesting. How he talked about
there's literally no head bob. I think he said everything was monochromatic. M
it was chocolate brown head to toe. He pulled hundreds of pixels just he
he, I don't know. It's people. If whoever's listening, If you
guys want to go watch it, go to my channel Tyler Howell Outdoors on
YouTube and hear what he has to say, because he can go in detail
with this a lot better than I can. But um, he did tell
me it was the most intriguing piece of foodge he's seen all year. Yeah,
it's definitely worth a look for sure. Like he said, you know,
it's over five hundred yards away from you. You're using a phone,
You're just holding the phone in your hand, so all those things come into
play. But you, I mean, for as far away as this thing
is, it's got to be pretty big. Oh yeah, it's got some
definite mass to it. And you can tell it's all one color. And
you know, you said, what five hundred and sixty four yards from where
you were? Yeah, we're approximately five hundred and sixty four yards. So
were you able to walk out there and find where it was in the video
and everything? I didn't go out there that day because I had to leave
to go pick up my son from the bus, but I did go out
there not too long after and found some tracks all down, all up and
down that creek. I've got a picture of one of them on my phone,
because I mean, once you get used to seeing them all the time,
Like I just quit taking pictures of him, because it's almost like it's
almost like seeing deer sign on the ground. But there was a there was
a father and son from somewhere in Alabama that came down to where that video
happened. I can't remember their names to save my life. But they went
out there on that power line. I guess camped really didn't get a permit
or nothing, just one out there in camp in the middle of that power
line, and they captured something on thermal and you can clear as day see
it's bipedo standing up and down. And he shot the video in two different
spectrums, one where everything's white and the heats black, and then the next
one where is everything's black and the heat's white. And it was pacing back
and forth in the tree line on that video. And then he called me
the next morning and told me that thing ran him out of roots. It
started like grunting at him and bellowing at him and throwing stuff at him and
him and his kid. Any idea what it was doing on its hands and
knees, Man, I don't know. I mean, there's no there's nothing
out there to eat like, it's all like pretty rough stuff to walk on.
I mean, there's I don't know what could have been doing. There's
no like gooseberry like wild gooseberries that grow up and down that creek. But
I know of I didn't see any down there. But also wasn't the time
of year for him. It was wintertime. I mean we talked, you
know, the first time, about maybe it being like a field mouse or
something, or yeah, right, maybe it was going after bugs or something.
I mean, there's really no telling, but it makes even less sense
for a human to be doing it. Oh yeah, people don't do that.
I mean, I've spent a lot of time in the woods man,
especially in public land, and I've never seen anybody get on their hands and
knees calling all over the ground. Yeah, that's weird. He talked about
it swam back and forth between the trees like it had its hand, like
it was holding onto two saplings and rocking back, holding on the two saplings
and going back and forth. And every time he'd go one direction, both
those saplings would have been one direction, and when he'd go back the other
direction, both saplings will go that direction. I mean, again, just
speculating, but that doesn't make sense for it to be a person at all.
Oh, I know. And that's when I ruled out that it was
somebody, because I looked over my right shoulder for a brief second, and
there's a not so where that thing came out at. There's an old dim
road. Well the start of that old dim road is over my right shoulder
about eighty ninety yards. If there would have been a truck park there or
a car, I would have seen it. There's only one way in down
that road and one way out. Yeah, that's that's strange, man,

Yeah. So since then, what have you been up to? Man?
Just you know, doing investigations? U People have, you know, slowly
but surely started reaching out to me. I guess because I've been you know,
posting stuff in a bunch of different group pages. If anyone has encounters
or sightings or have experiences, you know, please reach out. And it's
got right now. There's a couple of local places that I've been kind of
doing some research on and there's definitely some stuff going on, especially up in
Alabama. What what kind of stuff are you experiencing? Um? So,
there's a man up there is named flat Rock. He lives in the middle
of nowhere, but he's he's got a few of these things living on his
property. That's typically if I want to interact or try to interact with these
things at night, the best place I can go to is his property,
so all the land around him is all owned by the Timber company, but
all those pine trees have what's called pine beetles in them, so none of
that luver is able to be harvested, so they don't go out there and
maintain it nothing. His driveway is literally the service road to get to it,
and he's been up there, I think seven or eight years, and
he's never seen a truck come down there. But yeah, they'll come up
and jump on the porch, beat on the house. It's unt I haven't
been there for where they jumped on the porch. He has, and his
brother has because his brother lives with him, but um, yeah, it's
they'll come smack the vinyl signing on the house. So he's got a microphone
that he hangs outside of his bathroom window on the back side of his double
wide trailer, and that's pretty much where the tree line is into this property
known by the Timber Company. And we'll go inside and listen, you know,
on the iPad to everything outside, or you can put the headphones on
and listen and you'll literally hear him come. Sounds like somebody just come walking
out of the creek. Yep. You know, up to the back of
his house and he's got a five gallon bucket hanging on a stop on a
pine tree I think, or might be an oak tree right at the barbar
fence line behind his bedroom, I mean bathroom window. And he has he
sent me some adio not long ago. And you can hear this thing.
Come walk out of the woods, up to the bucket and take a bite
out of this apple and start chewing on it. Wow it but it literally
sounds like it's just somebody out there chewing on an apple. Yeah, And
I know this man's not gonna go out there and do it because he's handicapped.
It's very it's very hard for him to kind of get out in the
woods like he used to. He didn't really stuff around the woods much.
And unless I come up there to his house or someone else does. And
he doesn't like meaning in the woods after dark because of what happens up there.
Is he afraid of him? Oh yeah, yeah. When it starts
getting to about the hour, these things are going to start getting active.
He goes inside, all sit on the porch and he'll listen. He'll put
the headphones on and listen to the iPad and he'll tell me like, hey,
I hear something coming up slipping around the backside of the house. Be
looking. And you know, I'll be sitting on the porch from my thermal
because they'll walk up to that porch where his light was at. Before he
got his porch built on, it was just the steps going into the trailer.
So we'd sit on the steps and you know, smoke cigarette and you
could literally see their eyeshine in the tree line, because the tree line from
his front door is maybe twenty steps. Oh wow, yeah, and you
can literally see their eyes glowing in the tree line. It literally they look
like the size of like silver dollars, like a half dollar, you know,
how big around they are, That's what it looked like. And you
could literally see them blink. What color was the eyeshine it was? It
was like a golden brownish ambush color. That's That's like the only thing I
can really describe it as it because I'm I know, the color of a
deer, you know, kind of all I've seen him in the woods.
Minute it was I've never seen anything with that kind of color glowing like that.
It was just it was weird. It was it was almost like amber
colored. I would say, I know every situation is different. Um,
And I don't even know that you'd be able to answer this question. But
as much as they do to avoid humans, why do you think they're coming
up to his house like that? Either they don't want him there, or
they just want to get a reaction out of us. I guess to see
how we're gonna they might get a kick out of it. I don't know,
man, we really don't know. Um. I've been going up there
for bran at two years now. M. Yeah, it's it's pretty interesting
what goes on up there. Man. Has he had stuff happening the whole
time he's been there. He's well, so originally started he would see them
briefly out in the yard or walking through the woods, and he was thinking
it was like a trespasser, you know, he knew where, he knows,
someone just wandering through his property. He didn't think anything up Well,
his brother's the first one that ran into one of these things. He was
coming out tree stay in it and it was after dark and he had an
old flip foam and he flipped he flipped it on and that that was his
light coming through the woods. So he could see just enough to walk,
but he wouldn't, you know, disturb the deer too much. Yeah,
and he said he pretty much damn near walked into his chest and looked up
and there he was. Oh jeez. And to this day his brother stopped
tunning. He will not go in those woods, even in the daytime.
I mean, I can't say I really blame him coming that close to one.
And you know, yeah, masses about as they are, they would
come up. So he didn't have blinds in his room, they'd come up
and peek in the window as he's watching TV. He boarded up his window.
You know, that's that's a pretty common thing to hear in locations where
they're coming up to the houses, them peeking in the windows at people.
And yeah, yeah, that's they'd peek in the window at his brother all
the time. And his brother's tired of dealing with these things, and so
is his mama. His mama lives in another house on the same piece of
property, maybe sixty yards or so from where his house is at. And
they're both moving off the property because they're tired of dealing with them. Do
they have any animals, any dogs or anything? They have dogs, but
they don't let them go out in the woods or anything. Because his brother's
dog got his brother's first dog got killed. They never found him, just
disappeared, just disappeared. Man, Do they leave any food out for the
dogs or anything outside. Well, he used to keep dog food and cat
food on his back porch, and then they jump on the back porch and
start getting into cat food and dog food at his mama's house, and he'd
have to guard and kick hipling the back door and blow his airhorn out these
things. They can't stay in that air horn, he tells me every time
we go up there. They are horns your best line of defense because they
can't stand it. You know. Again, the pet food outside is another
thing you hear a lot about in these type situations. Yeah. Well,
they also have to burn their trash or take or back it up in a
truck and take it to the dunk because they don't have garbage service out there.
I mean, he's out in the middle of nowhere. You mentioned a
lady's property earlier. What's going on with it? Oh? Yeah, So
she lives r outside of the right outside of the small town called the Funiac
Springs, and she has seen one of these things walking in the tree line,
and she has sent me some audio of one of them. Eh,
they're yelling in the creek and it sounds like a primitive man just out there
hollering in the creek in the middle of the night. Her kids have seen
it getting picked up by the bus driver going to school, and her husband.
You know, they've told me everything that's happened up there, and so
I'm fixing good do a night investigation up there here, pretty Sam. And
then you've gone out with Stacy Brown Junior. Yeah, and a bunch of
people. Have you had any experiences with him or anything when we when we
went to I think it was as Scilla when I was with him, the
first time I ever met up with him. Um. I think we had
some vocalizations at one point in time, but other than that, nothing really
happened. And then we met up again and went to Mayaka and went to
the um Crowley Nature of Science Museum and there's an old house that they have
there called Tatum House. I think it was built like eighteen eighteen ninety three
something like that. Well, I mean it's it's a home house. Um.
I was there. Connor Flynn you know with Bigfoot of Don and Matt
with Supernatural yea, yeah, and the Matt was Supernatural Spectrum. He was
there with us and capture some good audio and I mean, yeah, it
was a good time and we had some Skunk Cape. I guess activity happened
while we were down there. Um someone had acorns being thrown at their tent
um. It sounds like, you know, we heard some kind of chattering
monkey chatter going out in the woods. But I don't know. I'm thinking
that was might have been too who I was going at it. It was
just so hard to tell. Yeah, my ACA obviously famous for the Skunk
Cape. Did you experience any paranormal activity yourself in the Tatum House? Yeah,
um so me. Stacy, Matt carr Um, a couple of owner
if RPG was in the house with us at this point in time. I
think he was out with some of the other people out in the woods doing
big Foot stuff. But um, yes, Stacy had the rimpod going and
other stuff going in I had my camera in front of me and I'm recording
on my camera. I'm also recording on my iPhone and you know, he's
asking questions. You know, if Laura's here with us tonight and all this
stuff, and it starts lightening up, making noises, and then my camera
shut off as I do, my camera just shut off. I was like,
literally, it's just a full battery. It's dead. And I'd been
filming for three minutes. Yeah, he had the spirit box going and heard
some answers come through the spirit box, like he asked, you know how
many of y'all are with us tonight, And it's all static on the spirit
box and then you hear Dominant three come out of the radio. Then he
goes right back to static again, and I was like, wow, that
would be creepy. Yeah, and then he was like, save a cuss
word for us, and then a cuss word would come out of the radio
and I'm like, oh shit, maybe that's wild. Have you guys ever
tried using that equipment out in the big Foot field? I haven't. I
mean a parabolic mic, I guess would be. I would say one of
the closest things I've used. I've never used kind of meters like that,
because from my understanding, if you have your phone on, if your phone's
powered on period while you're using these things in your hand, if your phone
in your pocket. It will make the meeters jump. I guess that's what
I've heard from a lot of people. And you know people, you know,
they have earned research techniques. But I'm not having my phone off because
if something happens, I need that phone on and be able to operate,
you know what I mean. Yeah, yeah, because I go in the
woods by myself, so I literally never have people go in the woods with
me. It's usually just me. So I'm pretty pumped that Dave's gonna ride
out this weekend. Yeah, Dave, good buddy of mine. Calling all
beans goes by DJU good guy. I hope you guys, you know,
get something, have some luck out there. Yeah, I mean, dude,
man, um, So we're gonna go walk around in the woods for
a couple of hours. We're gonna meet up around like a lunch time so
we can see if we can find some sign and then we'll go sit right
by this big sandbar on the river once it gets dark and build a fire
and just listen and you know, shoot the bull. If nothing happens,
you know, it's still a good company, good time, because I mean
ninety percent of the time I'm in the woods, nothing ever happens. Yeah,
and there's times, man, where it gets so frustrating because it's like,
man, I might here three to four days a week, you know,
I hit till one o'clock on the morning, you know, and when
I start getting you know, aggravated about it, that's usually when something happens.
So what keeps you going? What's your motivation for all this? What
are you hoping to accomplish? Man, I'm for me, it's just to
learn everything I can about these things and just learn to live with him,
you know what I mean. A lot of people create channels, you know,
to prove the existence of these things, and that's I don't need to
prove the existence of them because I've seen them twice one for sure. Second
maybe on that video during the day, but I've you know, had them
fifteen steps from me in the woods at night, looking at them through the
thermal. So it's it's it's mostly just for I guess, just having fun,
you know. I just I enjoy it. I mean I stopped deer
hunting to do this pretty much full time because everything that usually goes on around
here, it's typically during hunting season when the leaves start falling, that's when
most of the activity I experience happens, and it goes all the way till
spring, and then one spring hits I'm pretty much done through the summer because
it's just too hot. Muggy Mesquite is a totoo off. It's just it's
miserable. From from what I've heard, a lot of the environments out there
are very jungle, like, very thick in Florida. Yeah, up here
in mind Nick, the woods is the complete opposite. Really, Oh yeah,
no, it's so. When we were down in Ayaka, I don't
know how many times I told Stacy as we're walking through the woods, I'm
like, dude, there are vines in here that Tarzan can swing. I
think they used to film the old Tarzan series out there, actually, Dude,
Like it's literally like you feel like you're walking around like in Jurassic Park,
you know, just from how the vegetation is up here. Man,
it's just pine trees and roland hills. Do you think it's the same type
critter in the two different areas or do you think there's different types to these
things? Man? To be honest, I really don't know. I mean
I believe there's different types of them, because people will port them in different
shapes and sizes and colors all over the United States. You typically, you
know, down here, you don't hear about them being ten twelve foot like
you do up in Pacific Northwest California, New England, you know, like
down here. I mean, I wouldn't say they don't. I don't think
they would get over eight feet. That's is my opinion. I could be
wrong. I'm not an expert, but just from some of the things that's
happened at nighttime and seeing their eyeshine for how reasonably close they are, I
mean, I would say no bigger than eight feet. But that's just that's
just my guests, and given some things that have happened up with that.
You know, that man's house in Alabama, we've you know, we've been
sitting there and they'll you know, slap the vinyl signing in the house.
Where's bedroom is? And where do you hear the smack being hit? I
mean it's pretty good ways up off the ground. Yeah. So it's ota
where do you stand with the whole flesh and blood versus paranormal thing. I
believe that there's two sides to every story, So I mean, I believe
it's flesh and blood. I believe if it could be killed, but I
also believe that it might have some ability to do things that we don't quite
understand. Because you hear the Native Americans talk about them having you know,
supernatural some have supernatural powers, you know, different abilities. I mean,
so what are you gonna do? Call all those Native Americans liars that have
been living for thousands of years? You know what I mean? Right,
So it's like, I don't know. I believe, I believe they are
flesh and blood. I do believe that they can be killed, but I
also believe that they have abilities that we just don't understand. It's kind of
where I'm at with it, man, to be honest at this point.
Anyway, I always tell people I can change my mind anytime I want.
But right, yeah, yeah, you know, I was flesh and blood
for a long time. But now it's more like I've talked to so many
different people and heard so many different stories, and a lot of those stories
have striking similarities and little details that just run true across the board, And
right now I'm kind of like, well, why does it have to be
one or the other. Why can't it be a combination of both and possibly
other things that we don't even understand yet. Oh right, will be you
here people all the time talking about having a bigfoot counter than seeing a UFO
or having a bigfoot counter and seeing an orb you. So it's just I
don't know, man, I believe there's some kind of I believe there's something
going on there without a doubt, because there's been so many people that I've
listened to, you know, on different podcasts and hearing stories about like seeing
them walk behind a tree and then never coming out. It's like they just
disappeared, you know. So it's it's I'm not going to call them personal
a liar or tell them that you know they're full of it, because I
mean, nope, technically bigfoot doesn't even exist. So whether you just have
an encounter like mine, or you have one to where he landed, you
know, on the ground, whether in a UFO and walked out, kima
jumped in your house, you know, whether it's it's it's still out there,
you know what I mean, it's a very uncommon thing. So it's
I mean, I can't call him a liar because I mean we both had
