00:01:05
Speaker 4: I remember two tucky sports radio A five nine two eighth twenty two eighty seven. Text machines seven seven two seven seven four five two five four. One person writes, man, I'm very excited to watch to watch Ryan try to do the video the donuts. Will there be a video? Yeah? Well live stream it, my Mario, live stream it so that people can watch it during the show. Be at his house. Looking forward to being at your house for the pool party. Yes, you know he got the weekends. You can recover.

00:01:36
Speaker 2: I may need the rest of the show to recover.

00:01:38
Speaker 4: No, I think what listening do you be like not feel well? Chanting? That's part of the entertainment.

00:01:44
Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, we'll bring you some pep beel bismol to the listeners.

00:01:47
Speaker 4: Before I get something else. I need something from you all, Okay, because someone out there, maybe multiple someonees can do what I'm about to ask. Okay. Of course, we are uh doing our renovation of Ksbarr. We are like sort of redoing the menu. Some things will be the same, but we're putting new stuff on it. We've been, we went, we've been working, as they would say in the lab for that stuff. It's been it's been good. We're we're like redoing the floors inside, we're adding some new stuff. It's been good. One of the things we're doing is if you think about the porch of the bar, we've ripped out all the stuff in front of it, so now you can see straight in from the road, right, because it used to be blocked by TV and stuff. You really couldn't see into the restaurant. And considering we're kinda tucked away from Harrodsburg Road, it made it to where if you didn't know it was there, you wouldn't know it was there. Nope, So we're putting a sign in front of it, and we've we've taken all that out. So there's a few things we're doing. But one of the things all we're leaving in the front are these pillars, right, So like those pillars, and here's what we need. We want to paint on the front of the pillar. UK players from the path, all right, So we want to paint like Anthony Davis, John Wall There's I think there's three or four of them. We'll figure out what we want to paint, but we need somebody to do it, Okay, we need somebody who is a good painter, but not just like a painter on a canvas, like you could paint on a pillar. Does that make sense of my describing that correctly? You could paint on a pillar a portrait of someone.

00:03:36
Speaker 5: And if it's bad, we're gonna tell you it's bad.

00:03:38
Speaker 4: Well, I need it to be good, Okay, we need it to be good because this is gonna be the front of the restaurant. Right, So if you can do that or you know someone who can do it, don't say you can do it and you can't do it, because we get one shot at it, right, email me at Matt dot Jones at Kentucky Sports Radio and show tell me what you've done, a little sample of your work, because I would like it to be KSR people who help us with it. Yeah, and there's going to be a couple other jobs like that where I'm probably going to be asking, hey, who in the audience can do this with us because we want you know, we have a budget on this. We need to keep it under it. But we also I mean, you know, we'll we'll pay you for your work, but we just want to see if we want to try to make it to where it's a cool in front, So if you know somebody who can do that, let me know a couple other things coming on the what you know. One of the things we did was like we re evaluated, okay, what about some of the food what works and what doesn't. And we basically were thought food's consistency needed to be a little better. When it was really good, it was really good, but then sometimes it wouldn't. And so we talked about what are the things that we can make consistent. One of the things that maybe we haven't made consistent. Our wings are really good, but I've kind of thought our sauces weren't consistently good. So we're gonna redo them. But in order to do that, we need to test them. So we're gonna at the end of July have a thing where our listeners will come and it'll be taste tests of the new wing sauces. Right so well, it'll be like a ticket event. We'll probably only have like fifty people come and we'll put them on sale and they'll probably go quick. But you all can help us figure out. We're almost making it to where drew the listeners help tell us what's good we want to Like normally people do these like you know, soft openings, and it's really only a few people deciding. I thought, why not open it up to people so that they can help us figure out what we should have. So you'll get like a card and you can grade the sauces.

00:05:49
Speaker 5: Basically, there's people that will probably be eating there. Why not ask them as much as we trust Ryan Lemon's taste buds, we're gonna we're gonna step out and outsource some of the helper.

00:05:57
Speaker 4: So we had some we had some sauces that weren't very good. So like our ks Bar sauce I thought was pretty good, but I don't think we ever had a really good buffalo sauce. I don't think we ever really had a really good hot sauce. So we're like starting over from scratch on those. And some rubs. Some dry rubs, yes, I like dry rubs, so we've never had dry rubs. We're getting dry rubs. Mario was in charge of the lemon was it lemon, pepper, garlic? Yeah, the lou Wills, yes, he uh, he's those because he likes those and so he's been uh so anyway, point bean be looking for that. So but the first thing I need is if you could paint let's say John Wall Anthony Davis, and then we got fair who are the other two we should have on there? Because we get we have four spots Davis, there could be two you want to do Jared Jared? Yes, great idea? Yeah, John Wall, Anthony Davis, Jared and the Mount Rushmore. I mean I wouldn't mind him. Who would be your who would be the fourth? For not? This is the this is the Mount Rushmore, this is the ks R Mount Rushmore.

00:07:07
Speaker 2: I guess we can right now? We cant just do Pope, could do Pope? Yeah, that's right, he played win a championship. Now he's our coach.

00:07:14
Speaker 5: Coach has changed though, what if there's a scandal already done?

00:07:20
Speaker 3: You could just do the four of us on there?

00:07:23
Speaker 4: No players, Max Duffy, not only the players we know Woo, Max Duffy, wool and.

00:07:34
Speaker 2: Uh, Freddy's got to be there.

00:07:39
Speaker 4: So anyway, if you know, if you can do it, or you know somebody who can, Matt dot Jones, that can take you Sports Tradio and be watching. Over the next few weeks, we're gonna have a lot of these little things that you guys could be involved in. And we're also gonna have a day where we like clean the place, yeah insanely well, and it'll be kind of open if people want to come help us, and we'll feed you in wall. Like we're making this a community effort. Last cleaning day, I ended up in the emergency room. So what's our health insurance situation this time around? I lost a lot of blood. You were up on a ladder. Also, we're putting I don't know if you all know this, We're putting the you guys, this includes you, Shannon up on painting the roof. I'll paint the roofof if you if when you walk in the front of the roof is like green, and we were like, why is the roof green? Why don't we make it blue and white? Right makes sense? So rather than it being green, we're gonna put you, Ryan Lemon and everyone on the roof painting it blue and white.

00:08:40
Speaker 5: The roof is what got me hurt last year.

00:08:42
Speaker 2: Say no, this is the roof outside in the sun in July and August.

00:08:47
Speaker 4: In August, that'd be great in the middle of the day on a hot tar roof. I think it'd be great to be tar. It's not it's the it's the on is it on?

00:08:57
Speaker 5: Aren't there conspiracy theories about painting your roof blue? Or if you're not made it that far into the internet.

00:09:02
Speaker 4: Now, what are the conspiracy theories?

00:09:06
Speaker 6: Like?

00:09:06
Speaker 5: Uh, when there's been disasters like houses with blue roofs have survived, I think when maybe.

00:09:11
Speaker 4: Well that's what we're doing it. We're protecting kass bar bar from lasers.

00:09:16
Speaker 5: Yeah, I got is.

00:09:17
Speaker 7: That really look?

00:09:19
Speaker 5: Blue roofs on the internet?

00:09:20
Speaker 4: Conspiracy?

00:09:21
Speaker 3: That's one that's newter to me. If I go.

00:09:24
Speaker 5: To some weird places on the internet, blue roofs, they will not blow up something, they don't burn. I don't believe it. I'm just telling you this conspiracy.

00:09:31
Speaker 4: And you're gonna be on the roof the awning facing the roads, not the top top of the roof, right, put that on, and it's green and kind of faded and not very nice. We're gonna paint it blue and white.

00:09:42
Speaker 2: So it's like, you know, the first thing you see when you walk in. You want me to get in charge of painting that.

00:09:48
Speaker 4: It's not just gonna be you, It's gonna be all of us. Okay, we're all gonna go up there. We're gonna do it. Mario's gonna film it. It's gonna be a whole thing. Are you excited?

00:09:56
Speaker 2: I'm very excited.

00:09:58
Speaker 4: Okay, So anyway, but the anything we need, like, that's what I that's the what we need right now.

00:10:03
Speaker 2: You go see that to you walk. That's kind of a big focal point area.

00:10:05
Speaker 4: I know you'll be able to say I did that.

00:10:08
Speaker 5: I'd write your little name at the bottom.

00:10:09
Speaker 8: Oh.

00:10:09
Speaker 4: You certain, But you're gonna have to I think you're gonna have to like paint it sitting there on the like you can't take it home with you. You know what I mean. You're gonna have to paint it sitting there.

00:10:20
Speaker 5: Can't take our pillars home.

00:10:21
Speaker 4: You there there? So uh, Michael, go ahead, Michael, Michael.

00:10:32
Speaker 9: Hey, Matt, does Ryan have to hold down these donuts?

00:10:36
Speaker 4: No? I mean if he intentionally throws him up, he's out. But if it happens, yeah, yeah, if it happens, I'm not gonna punish him for being sick.

00:10:46
Speaker 9: All right, Well, Ryan, you need to google Bob us Sports, Uh, the YouTube golf channel, Bob sat Press and Joey Kolkutz. They do a dozen of each in nine holes. Let's just say, two out of three of them are are vomiting. And these donuts by the sports and fifth hole, Bryan, Ryan, I like you, you know me? This is Mike the mouth out on the party that. Oh yeah, I don't know man, especially you better be doing this in the air conditioning too, because.

00:11:25
Speaker 4: It's gonna be outside. It's gonna be hot outside.

00:11:28
Speaker 9: Oh, Matt, he's not gonna do it.

00:11:31
Speaker 4: Well we'll find out, trust me.

00:11:32
Speaker 9: Watch watch watch the thirty six hole thirty six donut challenge in the golf.

00:11:42
Speaker 4: I appreciate Mike. He's just gonna be city. This is goal. Is mental focus. He's not gonna have to play golf. No motion, sickness of the cart, all mental focus.

00:11:51
Speaker 3: He throws up, that's an automatic disqualification. Come on, can't throw up during the contest. That's a d q.

00:11:58
Speaker 2: M.

00:11:58
Speaker 5: Maybe it doesn't make more room.

00:12:00
Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, well we'll see. I'll have to think about it. I have to go to my just to eat the mess.

00:12:06
Speaker 3: I think it's okay, but you can't do it during Okay, I'll accept that, Matt.

00:12:14
Speaker 4: Go ahead, Matt.

00:12:17
Speaker 10: Hey, guys, what's up? Hey, Well, sitting out my garden, meditating on this beautiful day out in the day shine after a long shift at the Strip Club because I changed my name to the Big Beautiful Bill.

00:12:35
Speaker 4: Enjoyed that podcast. I'm glad you enjoyed.

00:12:39
Speaker 10: That was a great episode. That really was a great episode. You're getting better and better, yes, yes, but I was wanting to tell you. I don't know if anybody said anything up. I know last week. I know this is a week out, but over the whole summrset Duke's a hazard thing. If why hasn't Hazard you know, connected the dots? Well, they used to. I grew up in Hazzard. My dad was I hate to say this after I said I was a scripper, but uh, my dad was a Southern Baptist pastor for years at Hazard.

00:13:14
Speaker 11: I grew up.

00:13:15
Speaker 10: There, and and uh, every year at the Black O Festival, they would have all the whole cast, from Daisy Duke to the Boss Hog and they would all ride through the parade at the Well, that's kind of cool.

00:13:28
Speaker 4: I didn't know they did that. Well they do it again, although I'm sure some of those people are dead now, but.

00:13:37
Speaker 10: I know. I mean, after you said that, I was like, why hasn't Hazard connected?

00:13:44
Speaker 4: No, that's good to know. Well, Matt, it's good to hear from you. Thank you, sir. I think they had who were what was the characters? You had Bow and Luke, you had Daisy Dukes, you had Boss Hog Cooter, and there was a person named Cooter Enus. Yeah, okay, yeah, so that's good. By the way, I saw the city of Somerset. So the rumor I heard is they paid thirty thousand dollars for the thing. Okay, okay, that's what I heard. But they sold the car. They got the car at the end, sold it for eighteen thousand dollars, the same affter it wrecked. Yeah, so they gave someone paid eighteen thousand dollars for after it wrecked. So that means they got over half their money back. So I think that is a great deal that the city of Somerset got a.

00:14:35
Speaker 5: Lot of attention. I was in Colorado had on a hat that said Kentucky, and the bartender went, did I just see the Dukes of Hazzard car flying through the air of Kentucky. It's like, all you want to want to talk about. I'm far out of the state. They want to know why we're doing it. Where's Somerset? What's going on. So it got lots of attention, more than they probably even expected.

00:14:54
Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean amazing amount of attention. Uh yeah, it was worth it. But they got eight Would you have paid eighteen thousand for the wreck of the car.

00:15:02
Speaker 2: No, I wouldn't have. I got got this city of Somerset.

00:15:05
Speaker 3: We take the car and we have it jump over ks bar. That's how we reopen. We just reopen with the general legal.

00:15:11
Speaker 4: I think that's gonna be a little a little far for that for that thing to go. We'll take a break tort back KSR. So the blue roof thing is a thing. It keeps out witches and fires need witches. We don't. We don't need witches. I'll tell you nothing scares Mario more than saying the word witch. He was convinced. Remember when we were in Milwaukee for the NCAA tournament and we went to that bar and he was convinced the woman in it was a witch. Yeah, saying it. I mean he was convinced it was a person. He wanted to leave because he was like, that woman's away.

00:16:20
Speaker 3: I thought he was just joking at first. He was serious.

00:16:22
Speaker 4: He was dead serious. When I left, he was like, I want to go.

00:16:26
Speaker 3: He didn't want any part of the same.

00:16:27
Speaker 4: Right now, he's like serious about it, Like you just don't you you really believe there are witches? Yes, you did get on the microphone here just yeah, come here, you you really genuinely believe they are witches? I do. I do.

00:16:43
Speaker 12: Why it's in a Bible, man, Uh you know witchcraft or like, but.

00:16:48
Speaker 4: You thought that woman sitting in the bar, she was definitely a witch. I thought she was gonna you genuinely thought she was a witch. What made you think she was a witch?

00:16:58
Speaker 12: She had like the little car on her little table. Yeah, those are like stressed up. Well, she didn't wear a witch costumes. Do you see her necklaces? No, it's like signs of like witchcraft. And you know, like you know, you know that stuff that I don't mess with, So.

00:17:14
Speaker 4: I know you don't like you're very serious about you genuinely were like we got to get out of here. Yeah.

00:17:22
Speaker 2: Well he was the same way we went in Denver, in that witch Denver. Oh, he was like sweating and he was so nervous.

00:17:31
Speaker 4: Well, I mean I in the bar, this woman was like sitting at the table next to us, and you did not look comfortable.

00:17:38
Speaker 12: Yeah, she was definitely a witch. In the Denver the Denver shop that was even worse.

00:17:42
Speaker 4: So then you should help paint the roof to keep them away. I can help, I can help. I appreciate it.

00:17:50
Speaker 5: Are you talking about the woman with the Reuben stutter tattoo and clay Akin tattoo?

00:17:53
Speaker 4: She was the witch?

00:17:54
Speaker 5: Remember her?

00:17:56
Speaker 2: Yea one on each stye, Yeah, that's right out.

00:18:01
Speaker 4: She did have a ruben stuttered on one thigh and a clay ache and on the other she did.

00:18:05
Speaker 5: My favorite part of that is I wanted the clay aching, but when she went to get his autograph, Ruben was there and she's like, well, I could not ask him too, so she just got both.

00:18:13
Speaker 4: She didn't want to didn't want him to feel bad. Those of you writing me with people on the text machine, send it on email, okay, send it on email. And a couple of you written about burgers. We are switching to the smash Bird. Yes, we are, so like, we're switching and it'll be a lot better. It's a lot easier to make those more consistent. But that's the key thing we're doing. We're like, we gotta make our food more consistent, because when it was good, it was really good, but sometimes it was inconsistent. We're making it more and then we're adding stuff. We're adding a signature nacho, some new appetizers and should be good.

00:18:47
Speaker 2: I'm really excited about our new stuff too.

00:18:49
Speaker 4: I'm excited. I'm excited to get it right. I forgot. I didn't realize how much I would miss it, because you know, when you do something like that, it can be a little bit of a hassle. It can feel like you're always like, oh, here we go again. I've missed it the last few months, so I'm looking forward to it. Brian, go ahead, Brian.

00:19:04
Speaker 9: Hey, real quick.

00:19:05
Speaker 13: Fantastic show.

00:19:06
Speaker 9: Always in the summer.

00:19:07
Speaker 13: It's always entertaining, uh KWC professor, So shout.

00:19:11
Speaker 10: Out to run right out.

00:19:12
Speaker 6: There's an artist.

00:19:13
Speaker 7: There's an there's an artist in on Squirrel.

00:19:16
Speaker 13: His name is Aaron Kaiser.

00:19:17
Speaker 7: You can look him up at Aaron Kaiser.

00:19:19
Speaker 4: Send me the info. I can't have everybody calls. Just send me the info.

00:19:24
Speaker 13: Yeah, okay, you're a big UK fan.

00:19:27
Speaker 4: You knows. I can't have everybody calling with their bios.

00:19:30
Speaker 13: Just give me okay, Okay, I just moved, don't have Wi Fi, so that's why I'm calling. Okay, So I just wanted to. I just want to mention that he's actually friends with car incident.

00:19:41
Speaker 4: I appreciate the call.

00:19:42
Speaker 11: Man.

00:19:42
Speaker 4: That's three times I can't. I can't because if you do it, then somebody else will do it, and way I can't turn it into bios. I appreciate you listening and thank you, but like I can't do that.

00:19:53
Speaker 5: I have one of his paintings in my house, so if we need to reach.

00:19:55
Speaker 4: Him, the doll all right, Drew, go ahead, Drew, Drew, go ahead.

00:20:04
Speaker 14: Yeah. I was calling about an artist too, but.

00:20:10
Speaker 4: All about the artist.

00:20:13
Speaker 14: Yeah, what's the what's the email.

00:20:20
Speaker 4: Matt dot Jones at Kentucky Sports Radio dot com. And I'll tell you what's even worse than you. I broke my keys to look at your yo, bro all right, thank you, thank you, appreciate it looking.

00:20:33
Speaker 2: I just literally broke it back together.

00:20:36
Speaker 5: Here you you did break it pretty good, though.

00:20:39
Speaker 4: I'm not gonna be able to get my car go to work.

00:20:41
Speaker 5: Let me see it.

00:20:45
Speaker 4: Look at this. I just broke my keys.

00:20:51
Speaker 2: Here you go, I got you.

00:20:54
Speaker 4: I just broke it in half A good smooth move. Am I going to be able to get back in my.

00:21:01
Speaker 5: Yeah, we'll get it, We'll get it working. I mean, you broke it more than I thought you broke it. I will say that they.

00:21:08
Speaker 3: Don't make things like they used to know.

00:21:09
Speaker 4: They don't. Zach.

00:21:11
Speaker 15: Go ahead, Zach, Matt, I have an update in the Keith Whitley tent Gate.

00:21:16
Speaker 8: Do you want to hear it?

00:21:18
Speaker 4: Sure, go for it.

00:21:20
Speaker 15: So my family is down in Panama City Beach, staying about twenty yards away. According to my younger brother from the Jesse Keith Whitley tint and I looked it up. Laurie and Keith Whitley have a son named Jesse. And if you zoom into the picture from the Facebook group on that bridge, one of the guys's wearing a hat that says JK.

00:21:38
Speaker 11: W on it.

00:21:39
Speaker 4: So apparently okay, interesting, Okay, not that that makes more sense, it does. Shannon left that part of the story.

00:21:49
Speaker 3: I oh, she had a son named Jesse Keith waiting.

00:21:52
Speaker 4: I appreciate it. Thank you very much. That that does help quite a bit. Thank you.

00:21:57
Speaker 2: Yeah, if he's if he's a performer, that's the tent they use that his performances. Now that makes sense why they were using on like.

00:22:03
Speaker 5: You're still missing pieces of it. I'm missing the another.

00:22:08
Speaker 8: I don't know.

00:22:09
Speaker 4: Did it just go everywhere?

00:22:10
Speaker 2: Look behind the keyboard up here too. Okay, they're on the ground looking for it to do this during the break.

00:22:17
Speaker 4: I cannot believe. I completely shattered that thing.

00:22:23
Speaker 2: You have another one at your house.

00:22:26
Speaker 4: I think that's it.

00:22:28
Speaker 3: You're at the uber home.

00:22:30
Speaker 4: I am gonna have to uber home.

00:22:31
Speaker 5: I'll take you home or to get a new keyfob. These things are really expensive. I had to get one once you get a number in mine.

00:22:40
Speaker 4: No, it's a lot more. There's something.

00:22:43
Speaker 5: Yeah, we need that piece or something.

00:22:44
Speaker 4: Let's go to Kevin. Go ahead, Kevin.

00:22:47
Speaker 8: Hey, I was calling to get you to repeat your emails, so I uh uh send it anyway, and you just did for me. But also had an idea for your weekend show after my Ron's comments with the fireway work this weekend. Okay, your new name needed to be Sundays with Matt and Karen.

00:23:06
Speaker 4: Okay, well, yeah that was Myron. Was I appreciate called Myron called the police on the people shooting fireworks in the neighborhood. Called the police the police because he said they were shooting fireworks too late at night. It was eleven fifteen. He called the police on Friday night on the fourth. We'll take a break right back, KSR. TJ. Smith, personal injury attorney called TJ. He'll make them pay.

00:23:34
Speaker 10: Now.

00:23:35
Speaker 3: More of Kentucky Sports Radio presented by Stockton Mortgage. Here's Matt Jones.

00:23:40
Speaker 4: I can't believe that thing broke.

00:23:42
Speaker 2: It kind of shattered.

00:23:44
Speaker 5: There were seven different pieces to that. I don't even know how you get seven pieces to a key fop.

00:23:49
Speaker 4: Now you put it together. Mario is gonna go test and see if it was it was lighting up. I'm lighting up, but it was it was beeping. It was like flashing the whole time.

00:23:57
Speaker 11: Though.

00:23:57
Speaker 4: That worries me.

00:23:58
Speaker 5: Yeah, hooked you up on that. That's a new feature.

00:24:00
Speaker 4: It's a new feature. Always guys, get it to the dealership. To that caller, was they cost me money? His name was Drew Firs, Matt, it was not. The caller was actually witchcraft that caused you to to do that? May have been we were talking trash about the witchcraft and maybe they fought back.

00:24:26
Speaker 5: I'm ready for the next caller to also be recommending artist when we need obviously need visuals to crede these we're just getting names.

00:24:32
Speaker 4: So it's not just it's not good radio just to have people go, I know a guy named Jack, Well, I know a guy.

00:24:37
Speaker 3: A lifelong fan.

00:24:39
Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, I just believe you that you know those people.

00:24:43
Speaker 3: But like just the email, what they got to do with your ability to paint.

00:24:48
Speaker 4: That you're a life long fan?

00:24:49
Speaker 3: Yeah?

00:24:49
Speaker 4: All right. So you know, if you listen to uh interrupted by Matt Jones, you know a common theme is Drew and I are becoming more and more scared AI. Have you seen the story this morning? Now, five different countries received calls from an AI bought impersonating Secretary of State Marco Rubio and took the calls thinking it was Marco Rubio. Wow. First of all, how'd they get their number?

00:25:21
Speaker 15: True?

00:25:22
Speaker 4: But secondly, okay, now that's another thing to start worrying about, right, Like, if you could create an AI to impersonate a world leader. First of all, we got it, we're starting. We're gonna have to have more controls to know it's them. But Shannon, that's worrisome, isn't it. Yeah?

00:25:43
Speaker 3: Yeah, that you could take AI. You could take anybody's voice and make them say anything.

00:25:47
Speaker 4: And all five of them they got through a layer and then at some point the conversation broke down and they realized, I don't think this is it.

00:25:55
Speaker 2: Well, just to get to that point, you know, just to get to that point is scared. Yes, it is.

00:26:00
Speaker 5: Well, I think about like there's already videos of Trump, Like there's one it's obviously fake where he put Zelensky in the headlock, and then that's obviously not real. But if you could take a Trump video and just have him say something very serious, and you're not doing it as a meme or a joke, and people believe it. You could get very reckless with that.

00:26:15
Speaker 4: Yeah, Bill Moore, anyone, anybody. But the fact that like they called other countries world leaders and said Marco Rubio online one and the call got through them through.

00:26:29
Speaker 3: Yeah, And the fact that they knew the number to call.

00:26:34
Speaker 2: I think the other countries have high security levels. How they get through these first couple levels to get to that point?

00:26:39
Speaker 4: We're cooked? We're cooked. I'm with you. There's a part of me like no one is taking everybody's just full steam ahead and nobody's like, hey, is this is this good?

00:26:52
Speaker 3: Good way to start a world war? I mean, is so crazy.

00:26:57
Speaker 4: That that story was worrisome to me when I saw it this morning? Eight five nine two eight oh twenty two eighty seven. Who's next? Carson? Carson?

00:27:11
Speaker 3: Hi, h, don't slap it down, don't pack it again?

00:27:17
Speaker 4: You go ahead, Carson?

00:27:20
Speaker 11: All right?

00:27:21
Speaker 7: First time?

00:27:21
Speaker 6: Long time?

00:27:22
Speaker 4: Who Uh we can tell?

00:27:26
Speaker 14: What do y'all think about?

00:27:28
Speaker 11: How do you think our next baschball food is gonna go?

00:27:33
Speaker 4: Appreciate the call?

00:27:35
Speaker 8: Uh?

00:27:35
Speaker 4: Good? I think it's good to go good.

00:27:38
Speaker 5: I thought he's gonna recommend a painter. I was so excited.

00:27:41
Speaker 4: We're going an artist, all right, at least I know what I'm getting with Bob and James down. I know it's not gonna be on topic, so I'm prepared. This may be the most excited I've been for Bob and Jamestown calling a long time.

00:27:54
Speaker 14: Go ahead, Bob, Okay, Matt Ryan accepted your don't a challenge? I about if he turns the tables and give you a pool challenge to do some laps in the pool.

00:28:06
Speaker 4: Yeah, it's not gonna happen.

00:28:07
Speaker 14: You did the city balk recientally sixteen miles.

00:28:11
Speaker 4: Yet I don't swim. I appreciate the call. I'm not a swimmer, but uh but yeah, I mean, I know I know how to swim, but I'm not gonna swim.

00:28:21
Speaker 2: We we're gonna do the show like in the pool, like put the equipment on the side and standing, no.

00:28:26
Speaker 3: We're not doing that. It's a really bad idea.

00:28:29
Speaker 4: Yeah, with you eating donuts electric electric What a horrible way to go out. What what an awful decision. There's electricity going through that and you want to stand in the pool. Do you want to I mean, do you want to like hold up a lightning bubl while we do it too.

00:28:45
Speaker 5: Throw the hair dryer in there.

00:28:46
Speaker 4: Yeah, it's gonna throw the hair dryer.

00:28:48
Speaker 3: Your last image is going to be a Ryan eating donuts. That's the last one I want to see.

00:28:52
Speaker 4: Right over to the Pearly gates. Let me see Ryan with icing on his face and his shirt off.

00:28:58
Speaker 5: In three random UK offensive linemen in the.

00:29:03
Speaker 4: It's not what I want at all. Let's go to Thomas. Go ahead, Thomas, Hey, I.

00:29:08
Speaker 6: Think we should put one of the pitchers b dan Issel on one of those pillars because he holds the record for scoring that I don't think will ever be broken because we will never have anybody that kind of talent.

00:29:20
Speaker 8: Then we'll keep for three years.

00:29:23
Speaker 4: No, it's very it's very unlikely. Matter of fact, I would say the rebound if you're looking at Kentucky records that will never be broken, the rebound record is number one. Like, go look, the rebound record is like some obscene number. It's like seventy five thousand rebounds for a career. But does it work all right? Well, well done that engineer. That's pretty impressive if you were able to fix that. Drew I'm not as dumb as act nice. Well, thank you very much, Drew. But like, because back in the day, only one person for each team, right, So like if you go look, I'll pull up the rebounding records. I have the career leaders. Okay, they're all pretty old except for Oscar. So to use Oscar's example, how many rebounds Oscar have in two years nine hundred and fifty two? Okay, who is the all time leader Dennis in rebounds?

00:30:16
Speaker 11: Yep?

00:30:16
Speaker 5: How many is he had on thousand and seventy eight? Actually Oscar wasn't too With another year Oscar would shatter it? Really yep? I thought like Bob Burrow had some of be for a season. I'm on career Bob Burrow has some crazy amount, doesn't he? Well, thisle's points and rebounds for sure, the program all the time leader. Maybe Bob Burrow had a big year. Well, Bill Spivey had a big season.

00:30:39
Speaker 4: What do he had?

00:30:40
Speaker 5: Like five sixty seven?

00:30:41
Speaker 4: Okay? And who's the most maybe I'm looking at season, who's the most in the season recent Oscar?

00:30:46
Speaker 5: Five point fifteen Lebron Okay, Well, then maybe I'm not as maybe I'm wrong Oscar. If you take Oscar out. There's not many recent.

00:30:53
Speaker 4: What's the next one besides Oscar and Randall? Was? What low?

00:30:58
Speaker 5: Four hundreds? Who's over one hundred and fifty? Shy of Bill Spobby's season? Ne how much more was Oscar than Randall?

00:31:05
Speaker 4: Because random one season, Randall played forty games, so he played Oscar wouldn't have evenished twenty something. And so Randall played forty games. How many games did Oscar get? He only got like thirty three or something. Twos had eight fewer games and a hundred more rebounds than Randall.

00:31:25
Speaker 5: Wow, and no, twenty more than Randall and several fewer games. Okay, Oscar's fifth for a single season. But everybody above him is your boy, Bob Burrow, Cliff Hagen, Bill Spivey, and then Randall seventh.

00:31:39
Speaker 4: Okay, I don't you know, we probably don't appreciate how good Oscar was on the reband. Like when we talk about the greatest players, Oscar is going to be destined to be forgotten even though he was national player.

00:31:51
Speaker 2: Yeah, we talk about people that should have the jersey retired or whatever, we always forget Oscar. Yet he would had accolades as good.

00:31:58
Speaker 4: As he'll be remember Bird in twenty five years for as good as he was.

00:32:03
Speaker 5: No, I think people are already starting forget it, just because the kind of the team era that he was a part of. He had twenty eight in one game. People haven't done that since, like.

00:32:12
Speaker 4: The fifties, he had twenty eight one game. He's had twenty single game rebound. Does he hold the single game rebound record?

00:32:20
Speaker 5: I think there's one that's real old about pull. He can't be far behind it.

00:32:23
Speaker 2: He pulled up Jared prickenhe had one game. We had like over twenty one time.

00:32:27
Speaker 4: Well, while you're looking at that, let me do it all right, Bob Burrow.

00:32:31
Speaker 5: Bob Burrow have actually, Bob Burrow and Bill Spivey each have thirty four in a game. But Oscar has games with twenty eight, twenty five and twenty four.

00:32:40
Speaker 4: In the modern era. That's christ Oh yeah, in the modern era, that's an insane amount.

00:32:45
Speaker 5: Of The most recent on the list that's not Oscar is nineteen sixty four.

00:32:50
Speaker 4: Okay, well they played fewer games back in the Bob Burrow yea too. So anyway, hey, folks, for the first time we got a full blown all women's box. I've seen mega event Sheddon. 00:34:10
Speaker 2: It has great seats for Draft Kings.

00:34:12
Speaker 4: DraftKings, but I didn't know what what I would do when I got there, just not on boxing. Yeah, I mean, I do like Alicia the bomb bomb gardener name, but I don't know that I would I would go We'll take a break right back, SKA, welcome back. It is Kentucky Sports Radio. If I'm nine, two eighth twenty two eighty seven. Thank you to Drew for fixing that key.

00:34:35
Speaker 2: You're welcome.

00:34:36
Speaker 4: Hopefully it still works the whole time, but I appreciate it. A couple before I go back to the phones, Shannon, take a deep breath before we go back to uh what no, no, no, no. The callers say, whatever, did you all see the disaster that was the Cubs game last night? Not on the field.

00:34:55
Speaker 2: I don't know this.

00:34:56
Speaker 4: So first of all, the opening first pitch, did you see Alvin Kamar No no, goes into the realm of worst ones of all. Oh nice, bounced it seven feet in front of him. He's fortunate that the angle is not like it won't go, but it was awful. He asked for the ball back to do it again.

00:35:19
Speaker 3: No, that's why it's the first pitch.

00:35:21
Speaker 4: You don't get well, they gave it to him, and he did better the second time. But the first pitch is like the mayor of Cincinnati that one time bad. Just also like he throws it straight down. He throws it straight down to the ground. Looks like it either slips out of his hand or whatever. Alvin Kamar. Then you know if for Cubs people singing take me out to the ballgame is the thing, it's a big deal. They got the call her daddy woman, Alex Cooper, did you see it? I saw this, Yeah, oh painful.

00:35:51
Speaker 2: Yeah, she had helpers.

00:35:53
Speaker 4: She tried to do like a dance routine. Yes, and she also couldn't sing correct sounded like to me maybe she was even trying to do a Hairy Carey impersonation.

00:36:02
Speaker 2: Her voice was like she dropped her voice really low.

00:36:05
Speaker 4: It's awful, and like they kept giggling and by the end of the crowd is booing, like out of the stadium booing.

00:36:16
Speaker 2: That's a big deal. You get to sing take me out to the ball game.

00:36:19
Speaker 4: I'm sure she thought this will be funny, people will think it's cute. Didn't work.

00:36:25
Speaker 5: As someone has been booed by an entire Major League baseball stadium, I will say, it's pretty good, Adrilline Rush. But that wasn't her best performance.

00:36:31
Speaker 4: Was it?

00:36:31
Speaker 5: Like Daddy Gang Day hit Wrigley Field. That's what they called it.

00:36:35
Speaker 4: They called it.

00:36:36
Speaker 11: Yeah, that's the.

00:36:39
Speaker 5: Yeah, it wasn't. It wasn't the best showing.

00:36:41
Speaker 4: Yeah, she got booed out of the stadium. If you got asked to sing take me out to the ballgame, would you do it?

00:36:48
Speaker 11: Oh?

00:36:48
Speaker 4: Yeah, wouldn't you be nervous?

00:36:50
Speaker 2: Of course I'd be nervous, but I wouldn't turn down that opportunity to do it at Wrigley Field.

00:36:54
Speaker 3: Yeah, but then you can just turn it over to the crowd too. You can just start it out, take.

00:36:58
Speaker 4: Me out to that, and then just hold that. I was there when Drew got booed at Cincinnati Stadium, and he deserved every minute of They played that game again last night, and Tall and I were at the game and we talked about you getting booed. No one has ever played a game on the big screen worse than Drew Franklin. They started the game and he just froze up and just stared.

00:37:25
Speaker 11: Yeah.

00:37:26
Speaker 4: I was waiting for the cards to flip straight ahead and the crowd. I mean mercilessly, by the way, was a disaster all the way around. They bring us up there. It's me, Drew, Chris Tomlin, and Crixis. Oh yeah, the wrestler Crisis just happened to be there, walked on stage with us, Me, Drew, Chris Tobin and Crixis. They start the game. Drew his play. He's supposed to say like card won and card seven and match them, but Drew doesn't understand the rules.

00:38:01
Speaker 5: I thought they flipped them all once. I had to memorize it real quick and then identify them.

00:38:05
Speaker 4: So I'm waiting. So the clock starts and Drew's just standing there staring, staring for like six or seven very uncomfortable seconds. I'm like, is the flipper not ready? Let's get Finally I go Drew say something and then he's like number four and then he gets no matches. Crowd is booing, the woman is like what, and then Crixis grabs the woman's hand, takes the microphone and tries to start cutting a promo. He's like critically, and then they cut it off. It was a disaster in Crebble. It was. It was an absolute disaster. I was like, Crisis, you can't be grabbing the microphone from people. But he had never been to a baseball game. He didn't even know what he was where he was, so he didn't know you can just grab that. He could just grab the microphone. Drew's standing there like he's never even seen it. Card.

00:38:58
Speaker 5: I'd still be standing there if someone than like say number but see my thing. If I'd gone up there and gotten three out of four matches, we all would have forgot an hour later. Life would have gone on. This was brought up to me a week ago. We're talking about it now. I made a moment. I made an event.

00:39:13
Speaker 4: Day and there were hundreds of KSR fans and they booed you. We went back to our seats, Ryan and the ks R section was.

00:39:22
Speaker 5: Booing Drew my family booting.

00:39:24
Speaker 4: It was terrible problem.

00:39:26
Speaker 5: It was for the content.

00:39:27
Speaker 4: Tom go ahead, Tom.

00:39:30
Speaker 11: Hey man, uh'll discussion. Kentucky can't out of the radar at media days and stuff. And that made me reflect back to when Sue pasked all the fans of Pony up, do you think if he had an unlimited budget he would have been able to turn it around?

00:39:55
Speaker 4: I mean unlimited budget and he could get anybody. Yeah, but if you're talking about could he let's just say he had Alabama and A and m's budget. Yeah, I mean, could they be better than they've been? Sure? But we don't. And so you know, there's a part of me and I appreciate the call where you have to say, Okay, you take the Kentucky job. This is this is it? Right? Like this is what it is. You know, you go, you go manage the Florida Marlins. You can't complain that they don't sign the players. It's the Florida Marlins. You knew that when you came. But if they had Alabama and A and m's budget, would they be better? Yeah? Would they be as good at Alabama? Probably not because Alabama has a tradition and all that stuff, you know. So yeah, if we had more money, it'd be better. If I had wheels, I'd be a wagon, right like we are what we are.

00:40:41
Speaker 2: It would definitely be better. We'd get better players, but we're still way behind. And like you said, the tradition at Alabama.

00:40:46
Speaker 4: You go take the Murray State job. You can't say, well, if we had the resources of you're at Murray State. You knew that when you took the job, right, David, Go ahead.

00:40:54
Speaker 7: David, Hey, I got two things for you. First of all, with ministare and uh here if you guys discussed this or not. But the first thing is for Ryan, if he's going to do the ten donate challenge and you guys gonna raise money, uh, make it a fundraiser. I suggest that Ryan's favorite fundraiser.

00:41:16
Speaker 9: Uh.

00:41:17
Speaker 4: We talked about that. We did talk about that earlier. But I mean also like he if if he can, if we raise money, he also has a right to keep it because he's putting on a show if he wants to donate, but he shouldn't be guilted into donating the money.

00:41:35
Speaker 7: Well, Ryan's got a big heart, so I know what he would do something like that. But anyhow, the other thing is, I'm not sure if you guys have come across this article and known about from that the big beautiful bill, whatever did you hear? Did you know about how the gambling is changing in regards to.

00:41:53
Speaker 4: Yeah, no, it's it's dollars. Yeah, if you if you appreciate the call, if you end up losing money and gambling you can still owe taxes. Well worst part of the bill. Yeah, So like if you be if you were to get a thousand dollars winning. Used to be if you lost one thousand dollars in another bed, you could write it off. And it's even now if you lose the one thousand dollars, you still have to pay some of the taxes on the one you won, even though you lost later. Really, yeah, it's terrible, but you know the reality is it's complicated. So a lot of people don't understand that. But for people who are big into gambling, they're really really upset about it.
