<v Speaker 2>It is also one week away from Bash in Berlin.
<v Speaker 2>We're gonna have our preview and prediction show later this week.
<v Speaker 2>I'm back from vacation, doing the show a little bit early,
<v Speaker 2>and that way you can have a little bit of
<v Speaker 2>free time tomorrow night to kind of just relax. I
<v Speaker 2>gotta be honest, I need a little vacation from the vacation.
<v Speaker 2>Those of you that have younger kids will know it's
<v Speaker 2>not really a vacation for you. It's a relocation for
<v Speaker 2>the kids. I mean, they love it. They don't care
<v Speaker 2>what's happening, rain and snowing, none matter. They'll have a
<v Speaker 2>good time. But so anyway, I'm back, we're here, We're
<v Speaker 2>going to talk wrestling, and we're going to talk this
<v Speaker 2>week in WWE. As we saw a week that it
<v Speaker 2>wasn't the most exciting week in WWE. I have to say,
<v Speaker 2>it wasn't one that made you go crazy, but it
<v Speaker 2>was eventful and it moved things toward the pl in
<v Speaker 2>one week in Germany, and it was a fun week
<v Speaker 2>in some respects. I know a lot of you weren't
<v Speaker 2>a fan of SmackDown this past week. A lot of
<v Speaker 2>you said it was a snooze fest. I mean, I
<v Speaker 2>don't think it was. I mean, there was no Roman Reigns,
<v Speaker 2>But have you not been paying attention to Roman Reigns'
<v Speaker 2>schedule the last four years? That's not changing. The Roman
<v Speaker 2>Reigns' schedule is probably going to be as it has been,
<v Speaker 2>maybe a few more dates here there, but he's not
<v Speaker 2>going to be at every single show. So I think
<v Speaker 2>we need to take that expectation off the table. It's out.
<v Speaker 2>He has a new schedule, and good for him. We
<v Speaker 2>did get a lot of championship matches this week, from
<v Speaker 2>the Women's Tag Team Championship to the men's Tag Team
<v Speaker 2>Championship over on SmackDown and a US title match, and
<v Speaker 2>we're starting an intercontinental title tournament to decide who is
<v Speaker 2>going to face Brown Breaker for the Intercontinental title, and
<v Speaker 2>I do think it the PLI. It was mentioned by
<v Speaker 2>La Knight that he's going to be there and whoever
<v Speaker 2>wants to challenge him, so it could be wrong. But
<v Speaker 2>is there some kind of open challenge posed by La
<v Speaker 2>Knight for the pl in Germany? I think that would
<v Speaker 2>be fun. They haven't had an open challenge in a while,
<v Speaker 2>remember when John seen to do with the US title.
<v Speaker 2>Not a bad way to introduce new talent. So we'll
<v Speaker 2>see if that's actually the case when the final card
<v Speaker 2>comes out this week. If there's any changes, modifications and
<v Speaker 2>addition subtractions, that is modifications. But all right, well let's
<v Speaker 2>get into it here as we are on the week
<v Speaker 2>in review episode of this show for the week. It's

<v Speaker 2>wrestling as we have. It's still a fair amount to
<v Speaker 2>talk about. And the first thing that pops in my
<v Speaker 2>mind here as we run through some of the big
<v Speaker 2>points from this week is Jade Cargill and her fixed
<v Speaker 2>woman tag team match that she had is she continues
<v Speaker 2>to not be a single star, yet she continues to
<v Speaker 2>be molded and protected by Naomi and Bianca, and I
<v Speaker 2>don't mind that. That's not a complaint or a jab
<v Speaker 2>at Jade. I think that she still has a lot
<v Speaker 2>of work to do, but she's got one of the
<v Speaker 2>biggest elements you need down to be a wrestler and
<v Speaker 2>that's the look and the entrance. I like her music.
<v Speaker 2>It's it's serious. It's kind of the antithesis of in
<v Speaker 2>a way, Bianca bell Air, who is still at thirty
<v Speaker 2>some years old, twirling her hair around every single time
<v Speaker 2>she comes to the ring, skipping down. I hate it.
<v Speaker 2>I've hated it for a while. I don't hate the performer.
<v Speaker 2>I think she's again one of the best athletes the
<v Speaker 2>company has. But the twirling of the hair needs to stop.
<v Speaker 2>It needs to stop. But for Jade, she's got the
<v Speaker 2>look down, she's got the entrance down, She's got all
<v Speaker 2>of the outward stuff down, and that's important. I'm not
<v Speaker 2>trying to devalue that. But she needs to continue to
<v Speaker 2>work in ring and promos, and once she gets those
<v Speaker 2>two down, I think you'll see a massive shift in
<v Speaker 2>the company's strategy for her when she goes single, whether
<v Speaker 2>it's her turning on her team or her team turning
<v Speaker 2>on her. But for now, it looks like they're still
<v Speaker 2>kind of protecting her and getting her to a point
<v Speaker 2>where they feel that they're comfortable with her going solo.
<v Speaker 2>That's clearly not yet. But what better too to pair
<v Speaker 2>her with than Bianca and Naomi veterans of the organization.
<v Speaker 2>Both very good performers. Obviously, Bianca's I think a premier performer,
<v Speaker 2>and she'll stay there for a while. And they opposed
<v Speaker 2>Ivan Isle and Isla don and I thought it was
<v Speaker 2>a good match.
<v Speaker 1>You know.
<v Speaker 2>I had the idea that the six or the the
<v Speaker 2>three women there of Bianca and Jade and Naomi would
<v Speaker 2>win that match. They should have won the match, and
<v Speaker 2>they did. And Bianca and Jade are going to be
<v Speaker 2>challenging for the women's tag titles at the pl E
<v Speaker 2>on Saturday. I don't expect them to win at this point,
<v Speaker 2>but final predictions coming this week. I think that you
<v Speaker 2>have a team right now in Bianca and Jade that
<v Speaker 2>you look at and go, oh, man, who's turning? Who's turning?
<v Speaker 2>Maybe again, we're not ready for that, and w W,
<v Speaker 2>he's not ready for that. That as a team that
<v Speaker 2>I think could be here in five to six months.
<v Speaker 2>It could be here still through WrestleMania until they're ready
<v Speaker 2>for Jade to go solo. So while I was kind
<v Speaker 2>of rushing things, I think maybe I need to slow
<v Speaker 2>down in that Oh, Bianca is gonna turn, Joe finally
<v Speaker 2>gonna turn Bianca Heilia. I don't think I should think
<v Speaker 2>like that, even if they lose outright at the ple
<v Speaker 2>challenging for the women's tag titles, but I think there's
<v Speaker 2>a real chance they could win them. Bianca and Jade
<v Speaker 2>had them, didn't hold them long, which surprised me, lost them,
<v Speaker 2>and then it's very possible they get them back. I
<v Speaker 2>wouldn't say it's a slam dunk that they lose, But
<v Speaker 2>the question is if they do lose, how do they lose?
<v Speaker 2>Because they're clearly the overwhelming favorite to win that match
<v Speaker 2>if it was straight up, So is there a miscommunication?
<v Speaker 2>Do they tease the breakup between Jade and Bianca but
<v Speaker 2>don't actually pull the trigger yet? What happens? Does do
<v Speaker 2>eilid On an Albi fire end up doing something sneaky
<v Speaker 2>to win them? I mean eilad On and all her pentagrams,
<v Speaker 2>Maybe she should, you know, utilize the power of Satan
<v Speaker 2>to do what she needs to do to win that match.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, so, I don't know's it's just something to
<v Speaker 2>me that I've noticed with Jade. And here's what I
<v Speaker 2>will say. She is the one that gets the hot tag.
<v Speaker 2>She's the powerhouse of the group. She's still the star
<v Speaker 2>of the group in a way, even though she has
<v Speaker 2>not yet been proven as a real in ring asset yet,
<v Speaker 2>or rather a premier in ring talent yet. And I
<v Speaker 2>think that for me, I would change Jade Cargill's finish.
<v Speaker 2>When I saw her do a choke slam on SmackDown,
<v Speaker 2>I loved it because how often do you see a
<v Speaker 2>woman do a choke slam? And I'm talking about doing
<v Speaker 2>it properly? It was to me when she hit it,
<v Speaker 2>I'm like, whoa case? Anybody? Can anybody recall the last
<v Speaker 2>time a woman properly did a choke Slam'm not this
<v Speaker 2>weirly kind of weird and modified, like, well, that might
<v Speaker 2>be a choke so no, no, no, like an undertaker
<v Speaker 2>or Cane esque type of choke slam, the old school
<v Speaker 2>choke slam. I know, Baron Corbin, I know I'm switching
<v Speaker 2>to men here, but Baron Corben has used it in
<v Speaker 2>the past. Has anyone, particularly women, ever made it a finish?
<v Speaker 2>Has it ever been transferred over as a finish it
<v Speaker 2>should be. I think Jade is tall enough and strong
<v Speaker 2>enough to make the choke slam work as a finish
<v Speaker 2>for her. I like it better than Jaded. I don't
<v Speaker 2>think that she'll change it. My opinion, of course, is
<v Speaker 2>going to fall on deaf ears. But I like the
<v Speaker 2>choke slam. It's a move that we've all kind of
<v Speaker 2>forgotten about because the superkick has has been the go
<v Speaker 2>to move for anyone and everyone when they don't know
<v Speaker 2>what to do, they just hit a super kick on
<v Speaker 2>their opponent. And Shawn Michaels is just I mean, could
<v Speaker 2>you mad?
<v Speaker 1>Like?
<v Speaker 2>What does Shawn Michaels think about all that? He has
<v Speaker 2>to have been asked at this point. I know he's
<v Speaker 2>been teased about it, but it's anyway back to the
<v Speaker 2>choke slam. Just the thought. Let me know what you
<v Speaker 2>guys think. Do you think Jade should implement the choke slam?
<v Speaker 2>Do you even like the choke slam? If it's done
<v Speaker 2>properly and made to look like a finish, I think
<v Speaker 2>it's one that could be rebrought or reh I guess
<v Speaker 2>reintroduced as a finish. So that's just a quick thought
<v Speaker 2>that I had with her match with the six woman
<v Speaker 2>tag So all right, Well, beyond the six woman tag
<v Speaker 2>team match, we had a United States Title match on SmackDown,
<v Speaker 2>which you guys can get the full SmackDown review from
<v Speaker 2>Amanda from the UK, who did a brilliant job as
<v Speaker 2>always every week here on the show and covered SmackDown
<v Speaker 2>head to toe. That is our previous episode. You can
<v Speaker 2>go check it out. And we have a the United
<v Speaker 2>States title match between Elleen Knight and Santos Escobar one
<v Speaker 2>that it's a program. I've really enjoyed it, and Santos
<v Speaker 2>when he turned heel originally, I think overachieved maybe too
<v Speaker 2>much to where he did such a good job in
<v Speaker 2>his promo in his turn on the LWO that I
<v Speaker 2>had such high expectations, but I don't think wwe did,
<v Speaker 2>knowing what they know now, maybe they would have changed
<v Speaker 2>things because I think Santos is so damn good on
<v Speaker 2>the MIC. He's got a great heel presence, way better
<v Speaker 2>than his babyface kind of faceless, nameless part of the LWO.
<v Speaker 2>He has really set himself apart and I think that
<v Speaker 2>he should continue on that path. And yeah, he's kind
<v Speaker 2>of moved on from Elle Knight. He is not going
<v Speaker 2>to be in the United States title picture anymore. But
<v Speaker 2>his match with Ellie Knight was really good. Elle Night
<v Speaker 2>at forty some years old forty or forty one still
<v Speaker 2>are doing things that is pretty damn, pretty damn impressive
<v Speaker 2>for his age. He has a fascination with jumping up
<v Speaker 2>to the top rope and doing moves or you know,
<v Speaker 2>jumping backwards on the top rope to do a move.
<v Speaker 2>That's risky, bro, because I know there's been a couple
<v Speaker 2>times he's slipped, and but the oils the guys have
<v Speaker 2>on and the sweat and all that, I know they
<v Speaker 2>wipe down the ring ropes now, but still it's a
<v Speaker 2>high risk type of maneuver that I don't need to
<v Speaker 2>see from La Night. I know he does it to
<v Speaker 2>show his athleticism. Not a complaint. Okay, for those of
<v Speaker 2>you at home with your tally sheets of how many
<v Speaker 2>complaints I make per show, this is not one that
<v Speaker 2>you should score in that column. I think La Knight
<v Speaker 2>is athletic enough for me where I don't need to
<v Speaker 2>see him doing what everyone else tries to do with
<v Speaker 2>the flip flop fly stuff. But La Knight his reactions
<v Speaker 2>seem to be getting bigger by the week again, where
<v Speaker 2>really the fame of the Flames were getting fanned pretty
<v Speaker 2>well heading into the Roman match last year, we all
<v Speaker 2>knew it was gonna happen there, and then after that
<v Speaker 2>he was kind of pushed to the side. His reactions,
<v Speaker 2>I think, maintained at a certain level that was high
<v Speaker 2>at like a high water mark, and then it dipped
<v Speaker 2>for a bit, and now it's back. He won the
<v Speaker 2>US title. The reactions only Knight's getting from his entrance
<v Speaker 2>are pretty damn impressive, and I think that you could
<v Speaker 2>look at that and say, you know what, perhaps WWE,
<v Speaker 2>if this continues, decides to move him into a title picture. Now.
<v Speaker 2>It can't be for the undisputed Championship. Why because they
<v Speaker 2>have plans right through WrestleMania with Cody Rhodes. They may
<v Speaker 2>not have every detail or every single pl That's one
<v Speaker 2>of the quote unquote B level pls with Cody booked yet.
<v Speaker 2>But with the Rocks and pending return and the debate
<v Speaker 2>of should it be Rock and Cody at Mania or
<v Speaker 2>Roman and Cody at Mania or I'm sorry, Roman and
<v Speaker 2>Rock at Mania, there's a lot that you could do
<v Speaker 2>with Cody Roads on that front. With the solo so
<v Speaker 2>CoA continuation, you know, you have a potential Randy Orton turn,
<v Speaker 2>which I really love and I'm looking forward to in
<v Speaker 2>the future. And in fact, I would argue that after
<v Speaker 2>the whole Roman Reigns tie to Cody fades away and
<v Speaker 2>the whole bloodline versus Cody thing fades that Randy Orton
<v Speaker 2>is gonna be the first one to strike, that it
<v Speaker 2>won't happen until then, because that would be really weird
<v Speaker 2>that you have two massive heels against Cody. Just it
<v Speaker 2>doesn't make sense. So Randy Orton will strike, and that's
<v Speaker 2>one they have in the hole. They can have an
<v Speaker 2>ace in the hole there with Randy versus Cody at
<v Speaker 2>WrestleMania and Roman versus Rock. That's how I would book it.
<v Speaker 2>But what the hell do I know? But back to
<v Speaker 2>how manage l A. Knight here if he's not going
<v Speaker 2>to be in the undispeeded title picture. Well, they've already
<v Speaker 2>shown us that people from other brands can just come
<v Speaker 2>over and indiscriminately challenge for the World Championship on that show,
<v Speaker 2>which I vehemently disagree with, but that's the world we
<v Speaker 2>live in with WWE. They want to have their cake
<v Speaker 2>and eat it too, and you could easily have l. A.
<v Speaker 2>Knight be traded or just hell come over with no
<v Speaker 2>explanation and challenge the World champion over on, but it
<v Speaker 2>raw which could be gun Through at the time, and
<v Speaker 2>I think it still will be. I think Gunther is
<v Speaker 2>going to maintain that championship for quite a long time.
<v Speaker 2>There's no need to surprise us or shakaus Oh wow
<v Speaker 2>he lost? No no, no, no, don't cute. I think his
<v Speaker 2>world title run should be exactly what it needs to be,
<v Speaker 2>which is long standing through WrestleMania, maybe past WrestleMania forty one.
<v Speaker 2>But La Knight could be one of those challengers. What
<v Speaker 2>if it's La Knight versus gun Through at WrestleMania, I
<v Speaker 2>mean not impossible. Sure, there's seth Rollins thrown in there,
<v Speaker 2>you could have a punk, but I think punkin Rollins
<v Speaker 2>is probably going to be the WrestleMania a WrestleMania match.
<v Speaker 2>And if Gunther is still champion, that kind of leaves
<v Speaker 2>him open if Drew's not chasing him again, and you
<v Speaker 2>have l A. Knight who kind of is stonewalled by
<v Speaker 2>what's going on with the Bloodline and Cody and Rock
<v Speaker 2>and Roman and all that that's going to be going
<v Speaker 2>on at SmackDown at the time at that time, and
<v Speaker 2>then you're going to have La Knight, maybe wide open
<v Speaker 2>if he lost the US title earlier in the year,
<v Speaker 2>maybe loses it the rumble and then enters the rumble.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, I'm just spitballing here. My point is, if
<v Speaker 2>the reactions continue in this direction and Gunther, who you're
<v Speaker 2>going to keep champion until WrestleMania or through WrestleMania needs
<v Speaker 2>an opponent.
<v Speaker 1>L A.
<v Speaker 2>Knight could very well be that guy. Yes, he's on
<v Speaker 2>another brand, but they don't care. So really we're looking
<v Speaker 2>at this as a unified roster to pick from. But
<v Speaker 2>the match this week was Santos. I thought it was
<v Speaker 2>very good, and you have Ellie Knight. Here's the important point.
<v Speaker 2>Wins clean over Santos Escobar and that's an important point.
<v Speaker 2>And he also overcame a beating early in that match,
<v Speaker 2>which I thought was also really important. Now, honestome things
<v Speaker 2>that I'm not a big fan of. So I got
<v Speaker 2>I'll give you two things I'm really a fan of.
<v Speaker 2>Here's what I'm not The segment this week with Niajacks
<v Speaker 2>backstage and Tiffany Stratton and Pretty Deadly who are now
<v Speaker 2>weirdly aligned with them. They're all bowing down to Naya,
<v Speaker 2>subservient to Naya as the kind of stereotypical heel version
<v Speaker 2>of a queen takes shape and look, I have been
<v Speaker 2>proven wrong about Nia Jax. I've been very complimentary of
<v Speaker 2>her work since she returned, which has been surprisingly good.
<v Speaker 2>I've said that she feels confident. I've said that she
<v Speaker 2>feels like she's been reborn, and that's all true. This
<v Speaker 2>version of her where everyone's subservient, and Tiffany Stratton, who
<v Speaker 2>is one of the strongest women, that they have one
<v Speaker 2>of the best athletes, again, that the women's vision has
<v Speaker 2>one of is all of a sudden bowing down. And
<v Speaker 2>then Chelsea Green gets purposefully caught talking about I think
<v Speaker 2>purposefully caught talking about how it's inevitable that Tiffany's going
<v Speaker 2>to cash in and everyone needs to, you know, or
<v Speaker 2>that she wanted everyone to fix her crown and all
<v Speaker 2>these things, and it's weird. I don't know. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>are we just sit in a holding pattern for Charlotte?
<v Speaker 2>I think I think it's a holding pattern for Charlotte.
<v Speaker 2>It's probably what this is, but feel it just feels
<v Speaker 2>over the last couple of weeks anyway, which is a
<v Speaker 2>small sample size, that Nia Jacks's run has been stalled,
<v Speaker 2>and you can't always be on the ascent. There are
<v Speaker 2>play toes, there are dips, and this is probably just
<v Speaker 2>one of those dips. But yeah, it was. It wasn't great.
<v Speaker 2>Now onto something that I'm really back and forth on
<v Speaker 2>that happened on SmackDown two with Kevin Owens and his
<v Speaker 2>continued support of Cody his forced title Uh, he was
<v Speaker 2>forced force fed a title opportunity, which is really disrespectful
<v Speaker 2>to the championship. I know that he was trying to
<v Speaker 2>play the good guy, and I don't want to be
<v Speaker 2>handed anything. I want to earn something that that's not
<v Speaker 2>where you sacrifice here, Like, really, what you're sacrificing is
<v Speaker 2>the idea that the wrestlers are there to win championships,
<v Speaker 2>that you scratch and claw all your career to get
<v Speaker 2>these opportunities. You take them when you can. They don't
<v Speaker 2>come along often. And Kevin Owens pretended to be this
<v Speaker 2>like first day employee that says no, no, no, no, no, guys,
<v Speaker 2>I haven't earned anything. I don't want to be promoted,
<v Speaker 2>I don't want more money, I don't want no no,
<v Speaker 2>that's not it made the championship and his character look stupid.
<v Speaker 2>It may it devalued the championship because everyone's in there going,
<v Speaker 2>what are you talking about? You you don't deserve it.
<v Speaker 2>Number one is nonsense, and number two, you're supposed to believe.
<v Speaker 2>We're supposed to believe that everyone's here to win championships
<v Speaker 2>or at least want to win them. That's what makes
<v Speaker 2>them so damn important is people want them. So it
<v Speaker 2>was weird. I did not like that from last week.
<v Speaker 2>But this week, Kevin Owens, who I am a big
<v Speaker 2>big fan of I really am, he is getting clearly
<v Speaker 2>more time on the mic to just be himself and
<v Speaker 2>not be scripted, and that's fine. And as he came
<v Speaker 2>out during Atown down Under trying to convince Cody that
<v Speaker 2>he's going to be turned on by Ko by showing
<v Speaker 2>Cody all of the times he's turning his opponents, like
<v Speaker 2>Sammy's Ain twice, three times, four times, whatever, like Chris Jericho,
<v Speaker 2>like Kovie Kingston, that Cody should be weary. But like,
<v Speaker 2>why would Kevin Owens turn on him if he's already
<v Speaker 2>got an opportunity at the belt. You know he's already
<v Speaker 2>got that. But Kevin Owens comes out and he defends
<v Speaker 2>himself and he essentially go breaks the fourth wall if
<v Speaker 2>there is one left, and says, well, I'm just gonna
<v Speaker 2>skip all the nonsense and just have somebody come out
<v Speaker 2>here and make this match attack team match because we
<v Speaker 2>know that's what's gonna happen anyway, essentially, And then we
<v Speaker 2>have nick All just come out and he nick All
<v Speaker 2>just makes it official and said that that was the
<v Speaker 2>case and that we're gonna do it. And Ko then
<v Speaker 2>says that, well, do I have enough time to go
<v Speaker 2>down and punch one of them in the face before
<v Speaker 2>the match and nick All this it was funny when
<v Speaker 2>Nickoll just said, you know, just make it quick. So
<v Speaker 2>that was funny that that was nice comedic timing. But
<v Speaker 2>my issue with this is with Kevin Owens saying, do
<v Speaker 2>I have time to do it before? You know, because
<v Speaker 2>I know the segment's ending or something. We don't talk
<v Speaker 2>about segments. What do you mean the segment? Obviously there
<v Speaker 2>are segments. The show is broken down by segments. Do
<v Speaker 2>you hear the announcers saying, all right, and in our
<v Speaker 2>next segment here, we're gonna go backstage. In our next segment,
<v Speaker 2>we're gonna go No, that is such an admission that

<v Speaker 2>It should feel unpredictable. Instead it it's just a constant.
<v Speaker 2>It's an admission that this show is insanely structured, which
<v Speaker 2>it is, but I don't want to feel like it
<v Speaker 2>is with the people in the actual show telling me
<v Speaker 2>it is. That was weird. I know he's being all
<v Speaker 2>meta and cool and saying what the fans are thinking,
<v Speaker 2>but there's a way to do that that doesn't undermine
<v Speaker 2>your own product. It's a fine line. But just don't say, hey,
<v Speaker 2>oh yeah, hold on, guys, how much time do I
<v Speaker 2>have left in this segment that we pre take or
<v Speaker 2>we already talked about happening? How much time is left
<v Speaker 2>in this segment that we already pre planned. That's what
<v Speaker 2>he's saying. I know no one else seems to be
<v Speaker 2>complaining about this. I love KO, but dude, do you
<v Speaker 2>want a little overboard with the meta stuff? Tone it back.
<v Speaker 2>I know you're trying to be the guy that says
<v Speaker 2>things that fans are thinking, I get it, and there's
<v Speaker 2>times and places to do it, but don't talk about
<v Speaker 2>segments and stuff like and oh, we know it's going
<v Speaker 2>to be a tag team match, Like, yeah, we do.
<v Speaker 2>I mean that would have been okay in it of itself,
<v Speaker 2>but I've never heard any wrestler ever on air or
<v Speaker 2>maybe an announcer say the word segment in reference to
<v Speaker 2>the show itself, so that that was really off putting
<v Speaker 2>for me. Love you, Ko, but dial it back. I want, like,
<v Speaker 2>at least lie to me, lie to me, better, make
<v Speaker 2>me believe. Just try to try to not pull back
<v Speaker 2>the curtain the entire show. It takes a lot of
<v Speaker 2>the fun out of it. But let's move on. Let's
<v Speaker 2>move on. I mean, Kevin Owens and Cody do end
<v Speaker 2>up tagging together. There is some kind of hesitation on
<v Speaker 2>the part of Kevin Owens when he takes the belt
<v Speaker 2>after the match and they beat a town down Under,
<v Speaker 2>as you'd imagine that would make no sense that they don't,
<v Speaker 2>and it looked like he was gonna hit Cody Roads
<v Speaker 2>in the face with it. Instead, he walks by and
<v Speaker 2>tosses him the championship. Cody looks a little suspicious of
<v Speaker 2>Ultimately he just decides to believe it and no all
<v Speaker 2>is well, that was weird kind of thing. Here's the thing,
<v Speaker 2>I really don't know if it's good if Ko does
<v Speaker 2>turn heel. We have a massive group of Heels right now.
<v Speaker 2>We got a lot of heels floating around. But with
<v Speaker 2>Roman who is about to get his family back on
<v Speaker 2>the horizon, that kind of negates the bloodline. And maybe
<v Speaker 2>there is room for a Ko Heel turn. Maybe there is.
<v Speaker 2>Does that mean it's against Cody? Does it mean it's
<v Speaker 2>against La Knight? Maybe they're setting us up for Yeah, hey,
<v Speaker 2>here's all the things we would do if we're not
<v Speaker 2>going to turn him, Now, let's turn them. That'd be
<v Speaker 2>pretty smart. I wouldn't truly rule out a Ko turn yet,
<v Speaker 2>even though they showed us all these things that would
<v Speaker 2>really direct you in the path of wealth. They showed
<v Speaker 2>all those things. He's not gonna do it again, and
<v Speaker 2>it does look like he's changed and all on and on, Right,
<v Speaker 2>wouldn't that be the time to turn him? I think
<v Speaker 2>there's an argument to be made to keep Ko heel
<v Speaker 2>or turn him heel. It's been a little bit a
<v Speaker 2>little while we've seen Ko Heel it's good, so he
<v Speaker 2>could work with Cod. Maybe that's the payoff for this match,
<v Speaker 2>because you know that Solo is gonna get involved. It's
<v Speaker 2>very possible Roman shows up in Berlin. Possible, But what's
<v Speaker 2>the payoff though? And also if Cody is there, what
<v Speaker 2>vested interest does Solo have in having him lose to
<v Speaker 2>Ko and Ko becoming champion. I mean, that doesn't make sense,
<v Speaker 2>So I'm not sure what's gonna happen here. It is
<v Speaker 2>very interesting. It is very interesting that you have Ko
<v Speaker 2>being teases heel. Then they show these things to get
<v Speaker 2>you off the off the off the trail that he's
<v Speaker 2>gonna turn heel, which would then make sense to turn
<v Speaker 2>them heel when the scent is gone, gone away and
<v Speaker 2>fans are off the off the bandwagon there, So it's
<v Speaker 2>setting things up. But why would you have the bloodline
<v Speaker 2>interfere in this match at all? Like they have no
<v Speaker 2>vested interest in this either bloodline, what what do they
<v Speaker 2>care about these two? To them, it's still a family
<v Speaker 2>member is not champion, So what do we care who
<v Speaker 2>who comes out on top here? But if that's not
<v Speaker 2>the case and the blood line doesn't get involved in this,
<v Speaker 2>if they don't then I think we have a KO
<v Speaker 2>heel turn coming, because if we don't have a bloodline,
<v Speaker 2>big payoff and Solo and Roman end up facing off
<v Speaker 2>and that's when Jimmy and Jay return and all that.
<v Speaker 2>If that's not what this match is being set up for,
<v Speaker 2>because make no mistake, this match is a is a
<v Speaker 2>being used as a platform for something else. This match
<v Speaker 2>is a vehicle to get us to whatever they're trying
<v Speaker 2>to get us to, which is maybe a KO heel
<v Speaker 2>turn or maybe a Roman Solo face off brawl return.
<v Speaker 2>Oh here comes Jimmy. Jimmy will be the first one
<v Speaker 2>to return to help his cousin. Maybe maybe we'll have
<v Speaker 2>Paul Hayman in tow, but I wouldn't expect a full
<v Speaker 2>on Oh here comes Sammy, Here comes Jay. Sammy and
<v Speaker 2>Jay are still unraw. I think that they're going to
<v Speaker 2>remain un raw until it looks like they've kind of
<v Speaker 2>run out of things to do, which they're getting close
<v Speaker 2>to doing. So that said, the KO thing is very
<v Speaker 2>interesting to me, though I wouldn't right off the heel
<v Speaker 2>turn just yet. I know a lot of people have
<v Speaker 2>I would be very weary, but i'd be very weary
<v Speaker 2>of Ko and his possible turn. So all right, let's
<v Speaker 2>talk about something else that happened on SmackDown a little
<v Speaker 2>bit here. I don't want to go too much into it.
<v Speaker 2>We did also see the uh oh, what is it?
<v Speaker 2>Toma Tonga and Togoaloa versus the street prophets. Now, I
<v Speaker 2>actually have no issue at all with Solo Sokoa taking
<v Speaker 2>the tag team championship belt from Jacob Fatu and giving
<v Speaker 2>it to Toangaloa or as the Toma Tongo one of
<v Speaker 2>the two, and said, I need you more. I need
<v Speaker 2>you to be my right hand man. I need you
<v Speaker 2>to be my protection. I know some people took it
<v Speaker 2>as a slight to the championship, but the were championships
<v Speaker 2>were remaining in the same group. It's a matter of
<v Speaker 2>just moving the chess pieces inside your group to put
<v Speaker 2>you in a position for the best chance to be successful.
<v Speaker 2>And he felt Solo felt that his character felt that
<v Speaker 2>Jacob Fatu in that protector role and that right hand
<v Speaker 2>man role is a better role. Now you see what
<v Speaker 2>they're doing here? Do you see what they're doing? Jacob
<v Speaker 2>Fatu was anointed as the right hand man to Solo,
<v Speaker 2>who was the original right hand man for Roman jay Uso.
<v Speaker 2>So when Jay comes back, maybe you have Roman say,
<v Speaker 2>you know, when after Jimmy's already come back, you have
<v Speaker 2>Roman face to face with the new bloodline. They're still
<v Speaker 2>out numbered four to two. But Roman says, you have
<v Speaker 2>your right hand man, and so do I and the
<v Speaker 2>og right hand man, and jay Uso comes out and
<v Speaker 2>comes face to face with Jacob Fatwu. That makes sense
<v Speaker 2>to me. So they gave the title of right hand
<v Speaker 2>man to Jacob FA two knowing that down the line
<v Speaker 2>they're going to have a perfect mirroring on the other
<v Speaker 2>side with the original right hand man. To me, that's
<v Speaker 2>the best way to do this. But again, with such
<v Speaker 2>a successful storyline, I know many of you are born
<v Speaker 2>with it, but it's far from over. Do you have
<v Speaker 2>I think a really hard You'll have a hard time
<v Speaker 2>really screwing this up. I mean, if you don't like
<v Speaker 2>this storyline, you're not gonna like it at all. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>maybe until the Rock comes back you get a little
<v Speaker 2>more interested in is Rock gonna face Cody's you get
<v Speaker 2>to face Roman? Is Roman gonna face Rock? There's still
<v Speaker 2>lots of combinations they haven't done yet, and since there's
<v Speaker 2>a lot of comminations. They haven't done yet, you're gonna
<v Speaker 2>lose your mind. For those of you who don't like
<v Speaker 2>this story or born with it, you've got a long
<v Speaker 2>way to go. In fact, one can make it argument
<v Speaker 2>that this whole Bloodline saga, all the different combinations of
<v Speaker 2>who's gonna face who, and the big storylines, the big matches,
<v Speaker 2>may not be complete wait for it, brace yourself until
<v Speaker 2>WrestleMania forty two, which is purportedly in London in the UK.
<v Speaker 2>That's doubt. I did not not trying to break into
<v Speaker 2>news or start any rumors, but that's what's believed to
<v Speaker 2>be the location of WrestleMania forty two. So in WrestleMania
<v Speaker 2>London right now, the rumors are that that's where the
<v Speaker 2>Bloodline saga ends. Maybe that's where Rock Roman ends, which
<v Speaker 2>ends this whole thing, but we shall see. So we've
<v Speaker 2>got maybe a year and a half for those of
<v Speaker 2>you that still just are done with the Bloodlines stuff.
<v Speaker 2>But here's the thing though, for those that are annoyed
<v Speaker 2>by it, I get it. I understand why you are.
<v Speaker 2>But if you're the company and your goal is to
<v Speaker 2>make money, and this group continues to make money for
<v Speaker 2>you and continues to spike the ratings. You're gonna put
<v Speaker 2>out there. What gives you the most money and ratings.
<v Speaker 2>You're a company that's trying to make money. You have
<v Speaker 2>a financial a fiscal duty to maximize the amount of
<v Speaker 2>money you make for your shareholders and stockholders. You just do.
<v Speaker 2>I know, as fans, the creative end of things in
<v Speaker 2>our minds is priority one, and that everything and everything
<v Speaker 2>should be to satisfy us. But guys, remember most of
<v Speaker 2>us that are listening to this show and that love
<v Speaker 2>WE and pro wrestling generally are not stockholders in the company.
<v Speaker 2>In tko WWE obviously got absorbed or bought out. But
<v Speaker 2>if that's the case, then we need to switch our
<v Speaker 2>viewpoint here. If we are not the biggest financial piece
<v Speaker 2>to the company and the shareholders and stockholders and the
<v Speaker 2>sponsors are, that means that we don't get priority all
<v Speaker 2>the time. You WWE wants to make us happy because
<v Speaker 2>we do put money into the company with merchandise and
<v Speaker 2>sales and network subscriptions and everything else that goes along
<v Speaker 2>with being a fan, ticket sales, merch but ultimately we
<v Speaker 2>are still not the number one source of income for them.
<v Speaker 2>So we need to remember that, and I think as
<v Speaker 2>fans sometimes we forget, you know, as the saying goes,
<v Speaker 2>not everything the company does revolves around what we want.
<v Speaker 2>It just doesn't. And at a time I forget that too.
<v Speaker 2>All right, well, what else we want to talk about
<v Speaker 2>on SmackDown here? Bfab got a little bit of dialogue
<v Speaker 2>that's always interesting. I don't know what they're gonna do
<v Speaker 2>with Beefab. I have to say, I'm not sure. Maybe
<v Speaker 2>she can spend some time with Flop Dolla. I'm not sure.
<v Speaker 2>But and I said that half jokingly. I hope Befab
<v Speaker 2>finds something to do other than be this kind of
<v Speaker 2>just I mean, non factor, really a non factor in
<v Speaker 2>the Street Profits group. I don't mind her with them,
<v Speaker 2>but there's just nothing of significance that she's done really
<v Speaker 2>since she came to the company. She might, didn't. She
<v Speaker 2>have like a little bit of an interaction with Zelena
<v Speaker 2>Vega at one point, but that was kind of it.
<v Speaker 2>So all right, well, I think that'll do it for
<v Speaker 2>the SmackDown of the things for raw. As you guys remember,
<v Speaker 2>we had a Dramac guitar and CM punk confrontation all
<v Speaker 2>about the bracelet, and we had a Gunther, and we
<v Speaker 2>had let's see here Seamus versus Pete Dunn. Seamus was
<v Speaker 2>this week also in a bar telling I guess he's
<v Speaker 2>playing bartender somewhere. It was in Ireland, and then he
<v Speaker 2>got everyone to say banger after banger and all that.
<v Speaker 2>And Pat McAfee obviously has taken a leave until January
<v Speaker 2>for football in his podcast, and let's see what else.
<v Speaker 2>Ivy Iile versus Maxine Duprix, with Ivy and Ile fighting
<v Speaker 2>Maxine dupri do a no contest. We got again the
<v Speaker 2>announcement from McAfee, We got Punk and Drew and the
<v Speaker 2>announcement of a Texas bo Was it a Texas Bowl
<v Speaker 2>rope match? No, no, no, it was a strap match,
<v Speaker 2>same thing, same same, same idea. And we had the
<v Speaker 2>continued descent of the new day Ali Lujah hopefully with
<v Speaker 2>Odyssey Jones being that straw that's stirring the drink on
<v Speaker 2>that front. We had the Final Testament versus KOFE Xavier
<v Speaker 2>and Odyssey, with Kofee Xavier and Odyssey beating the Final Testament,
<v Speaker 2>and after the match, Woods was reserved while celebrating with
<v Speaker 2>his over cellist partners, and Bronson read versus the Miz
<v Speaker 2>and ad d Q match. This ended in the Miz
<v Speaker 2>losing to Bronson Reid, and Bronson Reid was stopped in
<v Speaker 2>his tracks by braun Strowman. So braun Strowman and Bronson
<v Speaker 2>Reid is a thing now for the time being, it
<v Speaker 2>looks like like the Tsunamis have ceased fire, at least
<v Speaker 2>those that are going to be injuring his opponents, because
<v Speaker 2>Braun is out there as our moral guide, our moral
<v Speaker 2>overlord to make sure that there's no bullying whatsoever going
<v Speaker 2>on and that he can work with work with Bronson Reid.
<v Speaker 2>But I think that's good because you know, Bronson Reid
<v Speaker 2>needs a challenge here with a guy that is not
<v Speaker 2>smaller than him. How does he react? How can he
<v Speaker 2>overcome even though its a heel? How can he overcome
<v Speaker 2>braunz Strowman, And I think he should. I don't think
<v Speaker 2>there's any any reason for bron Stroman to win this program,
<v Speaker 2>however long it goes. Bronson Reid, is you talk about
<v Speaker 2>going from this just big guy that's made a couple
<v Speaker 2>splashes here and there no pun intended to a guy
<v Speaker 2>at the forefront by injuring our truth, by injuring quote
<v Speaker 2>unquote Seth Rollins, and that's been his deal, and the
<v Speaker 2>fans have loved it, which is kind of surprising. But
<v Speaker 2>I've explained why my previous show of why I think
<v Speaker 2>the fans love it is because it's it's not something
<v Speaker 2>you see often, and fans love brutality, so they're kind
<v Speaker 2>of cheering even though he's a guy that's destroying one
<v Speaker 2>of our favorites in Our Truth and Seth Rollins, the
<v Speaker 2>fans have been going along with it. They've loved it
<v Speaker 2>one more time, one more time, one more time. So
<v Speaker 2>I don't know if that's a referendum on his character
<v Speaker 2>connecting with the fans or the fact that the fans
<v Speaker 2>just don't care that much about Seth Rollins's character or
<v Speaker 2>Our Truth's character. But if you attack Our Truth and
<v Speaker 2>you still get cheered, that tells you it's not really
<v Speaker 2>about Bronson Reid. It's about just the moment. It's about
<v Speaker 2>the destruction, the pure violence. People love that stuff. So
<v Speaker 2>bron Breaker made an appearance and just said he felt
<v Speaker 2>sorry for the person whoever wins the tournament to face
<v Speaker 2>him for the Inner Continental title. Re Riply in the judgment,
<v Speaker 2>Day continued, we got a women's triple threat for the
<v Speaker 2>tag team titles. This was Albifire and nyilid On winning
<v Speaker 2>and retaining their tag team titles. We had let's see
<v Speaker 2>here Randy Orton versus Ludwig Kaiser. That was fourteen and
<v Speaker 2>a half minutes with Orton beating Ludwig and after the match,
<v Speaker 2>Gunther came in the ring fought with Orton and the
<v Speaker 2>show ended with those two brawling. So fine. I think
<v Speaker 2>a fine minute at raw, a fine SmackDown. I think
<v Speaker 2>things will heat up to a boiling point this week.
<v Speaker 2>If you're not interested in a particular programmer match, you
<v Speaker 2>maybe by the end of this week. And that's WWE's job, right,
<v Speaker 2>That's the company's job, is to make you more excited
<v Speaker 2>to see the event, and ultimately not just excitement, because
<v Speaker 2>excitement is an emotion that the use. It leads to
<v Speaker 2>investing your money, which is really what they want in
<v Speaker 2>purchasing merch or or the tickets to go to Germany
<v Speaker 2>for those of you that are overseas, or for network subscriptions.
<v Speaker 2>So it behooves them, of course, to make you more
<v Speaker 2>excited about something than you otherwise would have been going
<v Speaker 2>into the show. And I think that they will. I
<v Speaker 2>think that they will do that this week. They've with
<v Speaker 2>there's such quick turnaround times between pl e's. That's the
<v Speaker 2>good news is that they don't have to stretch out
<v Speaker 2>things to a boring point. Of course, boring is very subjective,
<v Speaker 2>but they can save the best for last, and I
<v Speaker 2>think that's what they do. They're going to do here
<v Speaker 2>with building for the pl this week. But I think
<v Speaker 2>that'll do it for me.

<v Speaker 2>there's no better way to tear apart families and friendships
<v Speaker 2>than talking about some topics like that. It's unfortunate because
<v Speaker 2>I love talking wrestling, which really wrestling is playing in
<v Speaker 2>the sandbox, you know what I mean. Wrestling is wrestling
<v Speaker 2>is a place we go to escape the things that
<v Speaker 2>I talk about on my other show, you know, the
<v Speaker 2>real world stuff. And even if you're not into politics
<v Speaker 2>and culture, it's in your face, whether you want to
<v Speaker 2>admit it or not, you know, so I think that
<v Speaker 2>it's important to talk about and especially with this being
<v Speaker 2>a big year for politics, but I won't talk about
<v Speaker 2>anything else so than that. See, I'm not getting into specifics,
<v Speaker 2>you notice, I'm just generally talking about it. So for
<v Speaker 2>those of you saying I don't want to bring in
<v Speaker 2>politics to the show, I'm not. I'm just saying the
<v Speaker 2>word politics, saying that's what that shows about, you know.
<v Speaker 2>But I'll pause there, I'll stop, I'll shut up. Thank
<v Speaker 2>you so much everybody for supporting the show. I do
<v Speaker 2>appreciate it. And again, conversation is a lost art form today,
<v Speaker 2>you know. And whether it's a love for wrestling, you know,

<v Speaker 2>is my view is correct. If yours is differing than mine,
<v Speaker 2>then I don't respect you anymore.

<v Speaker 2>It's unfortunate you haven't seen it with wrestling. I mentioned
<v Speaker 2>that in my previous show too, But it's important to
<v Speaker 2>reiterate some of this stuff that's surrounding all of us.
<v Speaker 2>That when you see people not engaging in conversation and
<v Speaker 2>instead just throwing elementary insults. It's because they are intellectual cowards.
<v Speaker 2>You know, they can't intelligently defend their position, so instead
<v Speaker 2>they throw labels and hope that you'll cower and fee
<v Speaker 2>or that you'll just stop talking because you don't want
<v Speaker 2>to be labeled this and that. Which again, I'm not
<v Speaker 2>talking about politics. I'm talking about even about wrestling. You know,
<v Speaker 2>even wrestling fans can be brutal to each other and
<v Speaker 2>it just sucks sometimes. But I know most of you,
<v Speaker 2>most of you listening, love wrestling and we all share
<v Speaker 2>that passion. We all share that passion for wrestling, and
<v Speaker 2>that's one that I think most of us will stick
<v Speaker 2>with for life. And it's one of those few because
<v Speaker 2>you know this, with wrestling, even if you leave it,
<v Speaker 2>people seem to come back. How many emails have you
<v Speaker 2>heard on this show that people leave wrestling for like
<v Speaker 2>a decade and then they come back and they have
<v Speaker 2>to catch up on everything over the last ten years.
<v Speaker 2>Wrestling draws you back. It draws you back, and maybe
<v Speaker 2>it's a clip you see on TikTok or whatever and
<v Speaker 2>you're just like, oh, what's going on? And it brings
<v Speaker 2>you back. And I hope that this podcast provides a
<v Speaker 2>place for you guys to interact with not just me,
<v Speaker 2>but with each other. You know, my opinion is only
