Eddie Murphy’s back as Axel Foley in Beverly Hills Cop II (1987), but this sequel’s a hot mess of ‘80s cheese! He’s chasing a boring villain (Jürgen Prochnow, yawn) through old barns, stolen mansions, and the flimsiest “Alphabet Crimes” plot ever. The synth music slaps, and Eddie is always amazing, but the script? Not so much. Is this a nostalgic gem or total trash?
