<v Speaker 1>into a fine powder, as they say, with everything from
<v Speaker 1>a raw and smack Down this past week and looking
<v Speaker 1>ahead to Money in the bank and beyond, as we
<v Speaker 1>are just a mere few short weeks away from human
<v Speaker 1>beings returning, real human beings, not led boards, returning to
<v Speaker 1>the audience, and it's going to be an awesome time
<v Speaker 1>for all involved. I don't think anybody can wait, from
<v Speaker 1>performers to production, to management to the fans themselves, of
<v Speaker 1>being able to come back in front of WWE to
<v Speaker 1>tell them what we think about what's going on and
<v Speaker 1>not just pump in the crowd noise of which they've
<v Speaker 1>been able to play god with over the last sixty months.
<v Speaker 1>So it's gonna be awesome. That is just a few
<v Speaker 1>weeks away. Of course, we saw the big return this
<v Speaker 1>past week on SmackDown. Michael and I discussed that right
<v Speaker 1>out the top of the show, and it's just a
<v Speaker 1>blast being able to being able to talk about that
<v Speaker 1>with him and everything else and connecting with him, connecting
<v Speaker 1>with any of our co hosts is always great, especially
<v Speaker 1>when you talk to somebody that's just so intelligent about
<v Speaker 1>wrestling like Michael, and so I think you'll enjoy just

<v Speaker 1>review here with Michael Rinder. You guys know him from
<v Speaker 1>his SmackDown review that he does every single week and
<v Speaker 1>it is now available, by the way, and I'm really
<v Speaker 1>excited to talk about this week in WWE, with a
<v Speaker 1>of course, a massive return in edge. We have Roman
<v Speaker 1>Reigns getting beaten down. We have Drew mctear out of
<v Speaker 1>the WWE title picture to the applause of everyone, I'm
<v Speaker 1>pretty sure, and we are just a mere few weeks
<v Speaker 1>away from real fans in person returning live and that
<v Speaker 1>brings in Michael Rinder, who will be attending in Houston
<v Speaker 1>for Is it SmackDown or raw my friend?
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, it's SmackDown for sure. Yeah. So so that is
<v Speaker 4>the cool thing about it is getting to do you know,
<v Speaker 4>a quote unquote on site coverage because I do have
<v Speaker 4>pretty good seats as well. I'm ninth row behind the
<v Speaker 4>commentary table, so I'll be on the floor and I'll
<v Speaker 4>be able to have a good shot of the jumbo
<v Speaker 4>tron and people as they're coming out. So I'm definitely
<v Speaker 4>looking forward to that experience just by itself.
<v Speaker 1>No, that's awesome, and you know, I know that. I'm
<v Speaker 1>sure you're pumped. I want you to encourage everybody around you.
<v Speaker 1>Don't just cheer to cheer if someone if something's bad,
<v Speaker 1>don't just cheer because you're excited to be back. Make
<v Speaker 1>sure you still keep it real. For WWE, this is
<v Speaker 1>our chance to no longer be told what to do,
<v Speaker 1>but rather we tell WWE what is good and bad.
<v Speaker 1>So again, I'm really excited to have you here, and
<v Speaker 1>let's start out with the big news. I mean, I'm
<v Speaker 1>not gonna I'm not gonna, you know, bury the lead.
<v Speaker 1>But at the same time, we got to talk about
<v Speaker 1>Edge right. Edge has returned. He's back, he's got a
<v Speaker 1>longer beard, and he has attacked Roman Reigns this past
<v Speaker 1>week after the Championship at Universal Championship Address. So I
<v Speaker 1>gotta say, did you enjoy this? Did you expect it?
<v Speaker 1>What did you think about Edge returning?
<v Speaker 4>I did enjoy it. Absolutely did not expect it. I
<v Speaker 4>thought that seth Rawlins was kind of hinting that he
<v Speaker 4>might be the guy that was up next for Roman Reigns,
<v Speaker 4>So whenever they were kind of talking about it, whenever
<v Speaker 4>Edge's music hit, I was definitely, I don't want to
<v Speaker 4>say blown away, but I definitely did not expect it
<v Speaker 4>at all. Whenever he actually came out and they got
<v Speaker 4>the better of Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso, I was like, man,
<v Speaker 4>they are really going to go through with this one
<v Speaker 4>on one because that's kind of what I wanted back
<v Speaker 4>during the WrestleMania season. I wanted to see Edge versus
<v Speaker 4>Roman Reigns, you know, the battle of the two eras
<v Speaker 4>Spear versus Spear, which would have been a much better
<v Speaker 4>match than a Spear versus Spirit for Roman Reigns in Goldberg.
<v Speaker 4>I definitely would rather see Edge in Roman Reigns. So
<v Speaker 4>I was excited, you know, in that regard. I did
<v Speaker 4>kind of wonder exactly what his reasoning was for attacking
<v Speaker 4>Roman Reigns, just given that, I mean, he kind of
<v Speaker 4>lost Varon Square at WrestleMania and he, I mean, he
<v Speaker 4>didn't lose the championship Roman Reigns if yeah, we Roman
<v Speaker 4>Reigns went in as a champion. So I was kind
<v Speaker 4>of just confused as to why Edge out of nowhere
<v Speaker 4>attack Roman Reigns. I mean, do you have any you know,
<v Speaker 4>thoughts or theories as to what is going on behind that?
<v Speaker 1>Well, it seems as if this is pointing to a
<v Speaker 1>Money in the Bank match, and eventually we will move
<v Speaker 1>to I think an Edge and Rawlins matchup at SummerSlam.
<v Speaker 1>Given that, as you just said, seth Rawlins claimed to
<v Speaker 1>be the next one in line, then you have at
<v Speaker 1>the end of the show, Edge jumped the line in
<v Speaker 1>front of seth Rawlins, and I think that that is
<v Speaker 1>a good setup and a foundation to be laid for
<v Speaker 1>a Edge and Rawlins Summer Slam match. Now he could
<v Speaker 1>actually be the reason that that Edge loses I think
<v Speaker 1>at Money in the Bank, where after he moves on
<v Speaker 1>from Cizarrow. You could see Rawlins come out and screw
<v Speaker 1>Edge out of the championship leading to their match at SummerSlam.
<v Speaker 1>Do you think that's possibility?
<v Speaker 4>Oh, definitely, And I kind of mentioned that on the
<v Speaker 4>SmackDown review. How if it doesn't somehow lead to like
<v Speaker 4>a triple threat scenario that I could definitely see seth
<v Speaker 4>Rawlins coming out there to screw over Edge just to
<v Speaker 4>you know, speed up that whole program with them, because
<v Speaker 4>I did I heard those rumors as well the Summer
<v Speaker 4>Slam with Edge and seth Rawlins. I would love that
<v Speaker 4>we all know the history there, given that Seth Rawlins
<v Speaker 4>did what he did to him back whenever Edge had
<v Speaker 4>short hair and he was retired. Still, we never thought
<v Speaker 4>we'd see Edge in the ring again, and I'm sure
<v Speaker 4>seth Rollins didn't either whenever he did that. And so
<v Speaker 4>the fact that we were actually going to get that,
<v Speaker 4>it's not a matter of if, it's definitely when. I'm
<v Speaker 4>definitely excited. But I do agree that I think Seth
<v Speaker 4>Rollins is going to for sure have something to do
<v Speaker 4>with that finish money in the bank because it just
<v Speaker 4>makes too much sense. Exactly like you said, Edge jumped
<v Speaker 4>the line Seth. Rollins is the type of guy that's
<v Speaker 4>definitely going to acknowledge that and no pun intended, and
<v Speaker 4>definitely kind of come out there. And if it's not
<v Speaker 4>next week at the very latest money in the bank,
<v Speaker 4>do something about Edge, you know, jumping the gun on him.
<v Speaker 1>Right, No, it is it does make too much sense,
<v Speaker 1>and that that's fine with me. I don't need to
<v Speaker 1>have a big surprise here. I'm fine with logical steps
<v Speaker 1>being made. And I hope that when Edge and Rollins
<v Speaker 1>does happen, and it's going to that just like you said,
<v Speaker 1>that they actually bring back what happened about Like you said,
<v Speaker 1>I think it was about six years ago when Edge
<v Speaker 1>was still retired and he was threatening to break Edge's
<v Speaker 1>neck if I think it was if Seena didn't bring
<v Speaker 1>back the authority or something. I believe that was the
<v Speaker 1>story and he was gonna break an Edge's neck, And
<v Speaker 1>so I hope that they actually bring that into the
<v Speaker 1>forefront and they don't just pretend that never happened and
<v Speaker 1>actually use it. And so I'm also not sad that
<v Speaker 1>we never got a Roman and Goldberg match, Like, I
<v Speaker 1>don't care that that never happened. I don't need it.
<v Speaker 1>I don't want it. Roman and Goldberg, fine, keep them apart.
<v Speaker 1>I'm glad it didn't happen at WrestleMania. That's fine with me.
<v Speaker 1>I don't need to see Goldberg again unless it's in
<v Speaker 1>a heel role. If they want to bring in heel Goldberg.
<v Speaker 1>By the way, I'm all for a heel Goldberg because
<v Speaker 1>he should be a heel at this point with a
<v Speaker 1>guy that's fifty six years old. It comes in and
<v Speaker 1>is just entitled to a championship match every time he
<v Speaker 1>steps foot in the ring, which is just preposterous. So
<v Speaker 1>any other thoughts on Edge returning here, or you know,
<v Speaker 1>at least here's here's my question. Actually, how do you
<v Speaker 1>think the fans are gonna respond to Edge in this
<v Speaker 1>role against Roman Reigns. Do you think they'll look at
<v Speaker 1>it and go, hey, yeah, Edge, we love you, but
<v Speaker 1>it's you know, it shouldn't be you that challenges Roman Reigns.
<v Speaker 1>It should be somebody else. Or do you think that
<v Speaker 1>they'll look at this and go, oh man, this this
<v Speaker 1>is awesome. We know that Edge isn't gonna win, and
<v Speaker 1>he's not, let's be honest, but this is you know,
<v Speaker 1>we still we're we're on board for the ride. We're here.
<v Speaker 1>We want to see what happens. We want to see
<v Speaker 1>the finish of this.
<v Speaker 3>Uh.
<v Speaker 1>Which which side of the coin do you think most
<v Speaker 1>fans are going to land on when they get back
<v Speaker 1>in person in a few weeks.
<v Speaker 4>See, I'm actually glad that you asked that, because I
<v Speaker 4>do want to touch back on something you mentioned just
<v Speaker 4>a little bit ago. Rest assured because I've heard you
<v Speaker 4>mentioned on earther shows that you hope fans are you know,
<v Speaker 4>going to be vocal about how they feel and not
<v Speaker 4>just try to you know, be happy that they're there.
<v Speaker 4>I am one hundred percent going to be vocal, and
<v Speaker 4>you know, boo who I want to boo, cheer for
<v Speaker 4>who I want to cheer for. So definitely I'm going
<v Speaker 4>to Uh, I'm going to be a pretty vocal fan,
<v Speaker 4>and I'll definitely encourage the people around me to do
<v Speaker 4>the same. But as far as Edge goes, I was
<v Speaker 4>actually kind of disappointed that his return didn't happen that
<v Speaker 4>night in Houston because I actually wanted to be a
<v Speaker 4>part of that kind of just you know, to cheer,
<v Speaker 4>because I wonder, like my gut tells me that I
<v Speaker 4>would have cheered for Edge whenever he came out. The
<v Speaker 4>main reason why, or at least to make it believable
<v Speaker 4>for myself, is that he didn't get the one on
<v Speaker 4>one opportunity. Daniel Bryan was in the way, and that,
<v Speaker 4>you know, he can lean on that and then a
<v Speaker 4>promo and kind of blame that and use that as
<v Speaker 4>an excuse. I don't think Edge will. He'll more than
<v Speaker 4>likely own up to it, but he might at least
<v Speaker 4>mention it like, hey, you didn't beat me one on one.
<v Speaker 4>So that's why if this does happen really quickly about
<v Speaker 4>seth Rollins again, I don't hope that they go to
<v Speaker 4>the triple threat route, and I don't think they will.
<v Speaker 4>It's already been announced one on one at Money in
<v Speaker 4>the Bank. You know how they do things. Though they
<v Speaker 4>can easily add somebody to the main event, to the
<v Speaker 4>main event of that pay per view. I mean, for
<v Speaker 4>Christ's sake, they added somebody to the main event of
<v Speaker 4>WrestleMania to make it a triple threat. So I could
<v Speaker 4>definitely least and that was a couple of years ago,
<v Speaker 4>obviously with Charlotte, but so I could see them doing that.
<v Speaker 4>But I as I was listening to you talk, I
<v Speaker 4>kind of thought to myself that I don't want to
<v Speaker 4>see the triple threat because I do finally want to
<v Speaker 4>see Roman reigns and Edge go one on one. But
<v Speaker 4>to ultimately answer your question, I do think that fans
<v Speaker 4>would be happy for Edge because it's still just his
<v Speaker 4>second opportunity since he's been back at that championship. So
<v Speaker 4>I mean it's not like Drew McIntyre where he's had
<v Speaker 4>countless opportunities. He's actually been gone for a few months now,
<v Speaker 4>and he never did get that one on one opportunity
<v Speaker 4>that we all thought that he deserved after winning the
<v Speaker 4>Royal Rumble. I mean, every single one of his promos
<v Speaker 4>leading up to the match with Roman and Daniel Brian
<v Speaker 4>at WrestleMania was how Daniel Brian was in the Royal
<v Speaker 4>Rumble match. He didn't win it. Daniel Bryan lost in
<v Speaker 4>the Royal Rumble that Ed ended up winning, so he
<v Speaker 4>didn't feel like Daniel Brian deserved it. And I somewhat
<v Speaker 4>agree that if you win the Royal Rumble you should
<v Speaker 4>get the one on one match at WrestleMania. So Edge
<v Speaker 4>is finally going to get that a little bit later.
<v Speaker 4>So I think that as far as you know, just
<v Speaker 4>speaking strictly for myself, if I were to be there
<v Speaker 4>whenever Edge came out, I would definitely cheer him for sure.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I was such a huge Edge fan. I don't
<v Speaker 1>care if he's Babyface or Heel. I actually don't have
<v Speaker 1>a preference. Edge is great at both, and I think
<v Speaker 1>that at some point before Edge does truly call it
<v Speaker 1>a career on his terms the way he wants to
<v Speaker 1>do it, which is why he's back, that we will
<v Speaker 1>see a rated r well as much as radedar you
<v Speaker 1>can be in a PG era superstar like, we will
<v Speaker 1>see the true heel Edge where he gets booed at
<v Speaker 1>some point in the next presumably one to two years,
<v Speaker 1>I would assume at the most, until he calls it
<v Speaker 1>a really a career. So I hope we really do see,
<v Speaker 1>after the fans get a chance to embrace him and
<v Speaker 1>cheer for him, that we get to see that nasty,
<v Speaker 1>real Edge that's behind all of this, behind the Adam
<v Speaker 1>Copeland version of Edge, which is great. I love Edges
<v Speaker 1>of Babyface too, but I have to say I really
<v Speaker 1>hope that they bring back and again, maybe not even
<v Speaker 1>twenty twenty one, but they do do it before he's
<v Speaker 1>gone for good. The second thing, I feel bad a
<v Speaker 1>little bit for Edge because he is really kind of
<v Speaker 1>a victim of timing and circumstance for returning at a
<v Speaker 1>time where there's just still no fans and rather than,
<v Speaker 1>as you said, him returning in Houston. But I think
<v Speaker 1>it's all because they have a bigger opponent that we
<v Speaker 1>all presumably know who that is of John Cena returning
<v Speaker 1>to face Roman Reigns at SummerSlam. So I do feel
<v Speaker 1>for Edge that I'm sure he was thinking and maybe
<v Speaker 1>even with vocalizing to management that hey, can you guys
<v Speaker 1>just just you know, wait until we're back in front
<v Speaker 1>of fans, But you can't because of the timing of
<v Speaker 1>the pay per view with what would then be the
<v Speaker 1>Summer Slam the road to Summer Slam. So I feel
<v Speaker 1>for Edge, going, man, you can't just put me in
<v Speaker 1>front of fans. We've made it this long, you know.
<v Speaker 1>I wish I could come back in front of real fans.
<v Speaker 1>We've only got three weeks and they're doing this to
<v Speaker 1>me now. So I'm sure there was a little bit
<v Speaker 1>of that with Edge.
<v Speaker 4>Oh yeah, for sure. He's just somebody who I mean,
<v Speaker 4>I feel like they have to go hill with him
<v Speaker 4>at least one more time. I mean, you said it
<v Speaker 4>best yourself. He's so good at it, so I feel like,
<v Speaker 4>before it's all said and done, it just makes too
<v Speaker 4>much sense. We need to see a hill version of Edge.
<v Speaker 4>Get him with somebody who's, you know, a good babyface.
<v Speaker 4>I would love to see maybe an Edge versus McIntyre
<v Speaker 4>type of thing with if McIntyre's still a babyface. Maybe
<v Speaker 4>if he goes on to eventually capture the championship with
<v Speaker 4>fans in the in the crowd, which we all expect
<v Speaker 4>will happen at some point, I feel like he'd be
<v Speaker 4>a good baby face for Edge to work with if
<v Speaker 4>he does go to that hill role. But that's that's
<v Speaker 4>definitely fantasy booking right there, because that's projecting multiple different
<v Speaker 4>things to happen.
<v Speaker 1>Exactly, and it is And you know, I do think
<v Speaker 1>that as you said, it will. It's not a matter
<v Speaker 1>of if. It's a matter of of when. With that
<v Speaker 1>whole thing with with with with Rollins and and and
<v Speaker 1>Edge and having Edge turn heel. It's it's just a
<v Speaker 1>matter of time. Because we all remember, at least most
<v Speaker 1>of us do, of how good Edge was just as
<v Speaker 1>that nasty sob that was the ultimate opportunist. That wasn't
<v Speaker 1>just Adam Copeland here to tell a great story of
<v Speaker 1>feel good comeback story and cheer for me. And that's
<v Speaker 1>It's fine. It's still good because he's so authentic and
<v Speaker 1>I feel like he's truly himself, which is great. But
<v Speaker 1>beyond once we get past that, I'm looking forward to
<v Speaker 1>the heel edge for sure. So all right, well again,
<v Speaker 1>welcome to the show. And I want to also give

<v Speaker 4>little bit. I know for sure back in the day
<v Speaker 4>they did back and you know, I mean me personally,
<v Speaker 4>I always had to during football season. It was always
<v Speaker 4>tough which one I watched Monday night Football or Monday
<v Speaker 4>Night Raw. And I was kind of back then when
<v Speaker 4>there wasn't DVR, you know, you really did have to
<v Speaker 4>make that choice. But anyways, without getting too much more
<v Speaker 4>off topic, yeah, Football Function. If you guys want to

<v Speaker 1>to move on to the whole deal with the women's
<v Speaker 1>division and really Alexa Bliss, and there's really a lot
<v Speaker 1>of ways that we can go at this. This past
<v Speaker 1>Monday night we had Alexa Bliss teaming with Nicky Cross,
<v Speaker 1>and I don't know, I have my feelings on this.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe they're not as positive as yours. I'm not as
<v Speaker 1>high on uh. I'm starting to really kind of sour
<v Speaker 1>actually a little bit on Alexa Bliss. As great as
<v Speaker 1>she and I love Alexa, I think she's good in
<v Speaker 1>the ring. I think she has kind of been spinning
<v Speaker 1>her wheels since WrestleMania, and I think that's part of
<v Speaker 1>why a lot of fans have kind of turned a
<v Speaker 1>little sour on hers. Not just because of the hocus
<v Speaker 1>Pocus and and all the magic trick stuff that in Lily,
<v Speaker 1>but I think that was kind of the last straw
<v Speaker 1>for a lot of fans that were just frustrated with
<v Speaker 1>her sitting on a swing every week for two months
<v Speaker 1>after WrestleMania, and really what six to eight months before that,
<v Speaker 1>just being the fiend sidekick, not getting any real story
<v Speaker 1>of her own, and so a lot of just kind
<v Speaker 1>of okay, great, you're you're you're a super powerful, you know,
<v Speaker 1>evil woman. Can you do something? And they didn't do
<v Speaker 1>anything with her, and I think that really hurt her.
<v Speaker 1>And now I think it's kind of coming home to
<v Speaker 1>roost about the fans getting really frustrated with her and
<v Speaker 1>are all of a sudden getting you know, are upset
<v Speaker 1>with all the hocus pocus when that's exactly what they
<v Speaker 1>loved about her just a few months earlier. So maybe
<v Speaker 1>I'm being a little bit harsh on Alexa, but I'm okay,
<v Speaker 1>I don't hate what she's doing. The hypnosis thing that
<v Speaker 1>they're doing, I guess is the lowest grade of hocus
<v Speaker 1>pocus that they can you can do? So what did
<v Speaker 1>you think about that? What do you think about her
<v Speaker 1>and Nikki Cross going all superhero on us?
<v Speaker 3>All? Right?
<v Speaker 4>Well, just quickly about Alexa, I feel like what they
<v Speaker 4>had with her at the beginning, whenever they first introduced
<v Speaker 4>this like play and pain whatever type of you know,
<v Speaker 4>basically you know, a little bit of a branch from
<v Speaker 4>the Fiend character. I mean, we all know that's basically
<v Speaker 4>what it was. That's who she was partnered with. But
<v Speaker 4>I feel like, similar how they hurt the Fiend and
<v Speaker 4>hell in a Cell, I feel like eventually they had
<v Speaker 4>something good with Alex and they kind of ruined it
<v Speaker 4>themselves too, you know, by kind of not timing it
<v Speaker 4>out right, doing just things that were absolutely stupid. I
<v Speaker 4>feel like that whole black Goose stuff that was coming
<v Speaker 4>out of people's mouth was just the more and more
<v Speaker 4>that they did that, the more I didn't like it.
<v Speaker 4>And then just with like with the whole Lily thing
<v Speaker 4>like you mentioned. I feel like that is what really
<v Speaker 4>started to turn fans off. And the fact that she
<v Speaker 4>her very first match back, because I mean I don't
<v Speaker 4>count that Randy Orton match that she had on Monday night, raw,
<v Speaker 4>I don't count that at all. Her very first match
<v Speaker 4>back was with Naya Jacks, excuse me. And I really
<v Speaker 4>thought that that alone was kind of, you know, a
<v Speaker 4>strange pairing. I mean, she just came back from injury
<v Speaker 4>and the one person you're gonna put her in the
<v Speaker 4>ring with is Nya Jack for Christ's sake? Like I
<v Speaker 4>didn't really understand that. But I don't know. I feel
<v Speaker 4>like with fans coming back, it's there's going to be
<v Speaker 4>less and less that they can do with her as
<v Speaker 4>far as the whole cinematic stuff, So there's really not
<v Speaker 4>a lot. And I mean before their match on Monday
<v Speaker 4>Night Raw, the only acknowledgment between the whole Nicki Cross
<v Speaker 4>and Alexa Bliss stuff was Corey Graves said, longtime frenemies
<v Speaker 4>Alexa Bliss and Nicki Cross are going to team up
<v Speaker 4>to try to earn their spot in the money in
<v Speaker 4>the bank or I believe that's what it was for.
<v Speaker 4>But so so that was it. They didn't reference anything
<v Speaker 4>else about that, just basically made a little quick acknowledgment
<v Speaker 4>of it, so you can't say that they didn't say anything.
<v Speaker 4>And then they moved on. But Nicki Cross with her little,
<v Speaker 4>you know, her superhero thing. I mean, my girlfriend actually
<v Speaker 4>just started she's watched wrestling for a few months at that,
<v Speaker 4>and even she was like, are you kidding me? Like
<v Speaker 4>what the hell is this? Because I mean she looks
<v Speaker 4>at it from like a casual, like a true casual
<v Speaker 4>wrestling fan point of view. Another thing before you know,
<v Speaker 4>and we'll get to that whenever we get there. But
<v Speaker 4>she actually is a huge New Day fan, so that's
<v Speaker 4>how you can really know that she's new at watching wrestling.
<v Speaker 4>But definitely she was even kind of making fun of
<v Speaker 4>Niki Cross and this whole superhero thing. I just feel
<v Speaker 4>like that's something that's really outdated in this day and age.
<v Speaker 4>You really can't do stuff like that. People are just
<v Speaker 4>going to laugh at it. I mean, it's similar to
<v Speaker 4>your opinions, because I did hear that. I believe it
<v Speaker 4>was on the raw review. You said the whole superhero
<v Speaker 4>thing just really has never been for you me either,
<v Speaker 4>even with Roman Reign's late big brother whenever he was
<v Speaker 4>a superhero in training. Although that was pretty funny, I
<v Speaker 4>still really wasn't a fan of that. I didn't really
<v Speaker 4>believe it even as a kid. So I'm not really
<v Speaker 4>high on her her new gimmick, and especially given that
<v Speaker 4>they just released her husband, Killian Dane. He's actually no
<v Speaker 4>longer with the company, so I mean it is I mean,
<v Speaker 4>just do the math, look at the history in the statistics.
<v Speaker 4>Anytime that somebody gets released. Look at Lana Russep got
<v Speaker 4>released years later, Alana was gone? Was it? Zelena Vega?
<v Speaker 4>Months later? Alistair Black's gone. I mean, you just name it.
<v Speaker 4>Whenever somebody gets when they get released, eventually they're going
<v Speaker 4>to be their partner's going to be gone to Ty
<v Speaker 4>Dillinger and Peyton Royce another. I mean, the list goes
<v Speaker 4>on if you actually really think about it. So I
<v Speaker 4>feel like it's just I mean, I hate to say
<v Speaker 4>it because I feel like Nikki Cross is better than
<v Speaker 4>what they've done. They kind of ruined her whenever they
<v Speaker 4>pulled her out of sanity because that was just something
<v Speaker 4>that she was comfortable doing, and she kind of she
<v Speaker 4>still tried to do her normal stuff, her psycho girl
<v Speaker 4>type stuff, even whenever she was outside of sanity, and
<v Speaker 4>I feel like that kind of rubbed fans the wrong
<v Speaker 4>way and it kind of made them sour on her
<v Speaker 4>a little bit. So I hate to say it, but
<v Speaker 4>I think, I mean, she's somebody who should have probably
<v Speaker 4>been mentioned in You and the Casual Wrestling Van's hypothetical releases.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I mean, well that was a fun segment. I
<v Speaker 1>mean that you could break a whole paper or her
<v Speaker 1>whole paper, a whole episode down to that, and you're
<v Speaker 1>your analysis about bringing or taking somebody from one company
<v Speaker 1>firing them but another company. It does ring true with couples,
<v Speaker 1>as you said throughout the years. I mean, another one
<v Speaker 1>is Dean Ambrose and Renee Young. I mean even though
<v Speaker 1>Renee of course was not an in ring competitor. I
<v Speaker 1>mean that, of course is another one. It just it is.
<v Speaker 1>It's a it's one will leave eventually when the other
<v Speaker 1>one does. But Alexa Bliss Man, I again, I think
<v Speaker 1>we were all intrigued when she changed from her coffee drinking,
<v Speaker 1>eye rolling talk show or a moment of bliss with
<v Speaker 1>Nikki Cross last year that I was not a fan
<v Speaker 1>of it all and transformed her into this evil character
<v Speaker 1>that was touched by the fiend. I think all of
<v Speaker 1>us were like, man, this is awesome. And I was
<v Speaker 1>included in that. I praised it. I thought it was
<v Speaker 1>very good. She was all in. She was starting to
<v Speaker 1>descend into madness, and I think that she did it
<v Speaker 1>very well. And I know that she has admitted that
<v Speaker 1>she's having fun with this, and I think that's great.
<v Speaker 1>She's having fun with it. She knows clearly though, and
<v Speaker 1>It's been acknowledged by her that the fans are starting
<v Speaker 1>to turn sour on it. It's not lost on her
<v Speaker 1>or management that the fans are like, Hey, this is
<v Speaker 1>getting ridiculous. Where are we going with this? What's the endgame?
<v Speaker 1>We don't know. I don't know what the endgame is.
<v Speaker 1>I really don't know. Maybe eventually there's some kind of
<v Speaker 1>serum or antidote or kryptonite that we're able to transform
<v Speaker 1>Alexa back to the goddess. I don't know. Maybe that's
<v Speaker 1>the endgame to eventually get her back because she can't
<v Speaker 1>stay in this evil character you would think forever, because
<v Speaker 1>eventually it's going to run its course. So maybe that's
<v Speaker 1>the endgame for her. And I think that eventually she
<v Speaker 1>will be raw Women's Champion, probably not in the near future,
<v Speaker 1>given the circumstances of potentially Becky Lynch coming back and
<v Speaker 1>that kind of thing. We can talk about Charlotte and
<v Speaker 1>Rhea next. I mean, really, the whole women's division as
<v Speaker 1>a whole in WWE right now is it's kind of
<v Speaker 1>a mess, but it's such out of everything, and look,
<v Speaker 1>I love the women and what they've been able to do,
<v Speaker 1>but right now it has been an absolute it's a
<v Speaker 1>train wreck right now in general. So we're only talking
<v Speaker 1>about one element of it. So I'll kind of wrap
<v Speaker 1>it up here and I'll ask you what your final
<v Speaker 1>thoughts are, because I'm going to move on to the
<v Speaker 1>next piece of the women's division. But my whole problem
<v Speaker 1>with Nikki Cross is she is just she's so high
<v Speaker 1>energy and she's excited about everything, and she's been so
<v Speaker 1>excited about everything all the time, and it's kind of
<v Speaker 1>to me just obnoxious, Like I don't find that endearing.
<v Speaker 1>I don't find it somebody I want to cheer for.
<v Speaker 1>She's getting fluke victories and she's claiming that she should
<v Speaker 1>be in the running for the Raw women's She I'm like, how, Like,
<v Speaker 1>what have you done. You've got a few fluke victories,
<v Speaker 1>You've beaten yeah, top tier people, but look at the
<v Speaker 1>way you've beaten them. She is changing. She changed herself
<v Speaker 1>into the superhero. Now again, I don't know if this
<v Speaker 1>superhero was her idea or is management's idea. And as
<v Speaker 1>I said in my Raw review, maybe she didn't want
<v Speaker 1>to get future endeavored and was just like, yeah, I'll
<v Speaker 1>just take it and make it the best I can.
<v Speaker 1>Sure that sounds great, Vince, it sounds great. Whatever you need.
<v Speaker 1>Because of the fear of losing your job, people aren't
<v Speaker 1>going to speak out against things that are just awful,
<v Speaker 1>so that can maybe be part of it. But if
<v Speaker 1>she's going to do it, I mean, I I again,
<v Speaker 1>this is just not your flavor. It's not my flavor.
<v Speaker 1>I think it's it's eye rolling. I'm not a fan.
<v Speaker 1>I think that it's childish. I think it's for somebody
<v Speaker 1>in their thirties to be doing this and I'm supposed
<v Speaker 1>to be looking up to this person. I mean, it's preposterous.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not a fan of this. It's like it's almost
<v Speaker 1>like a last ditch effort gimmick for somebody that they do.
<v Speaker 1>They're like, hey, oh, you're this cupposed to being fired.
<v Speaker 1>Let's just try something the last ditch effort, and we'll
<v Speaker 1>make you a superhero. It feels like that with Nikki Cross.
<v Speaker 1>It feels like they're on a last possible bad ditch
<v Speaker 1>effort before they just say either this works or you're gone.
<v Speaker 1>So I hope that's not the case for Aker, but
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, so any I think wrap up thoughts
<v Speaker 1>on Alexa and Nikki, I.
<v Speaker 4>Guess, not really on those two women in particular. I
<v Speaker 4>guess just really the women's division as a whole. I
<v Speaker 4>guess I kind of have a little bit of a
<v Speaker 4>dark analogy to kind of try to wrap it up
<v Speaker 4>really quick. Is I guess it's the one way I
<v Speaker 4>can explain the women's division and their sort of regression
<v Speaker 4>is it's almost like if it's like somebody you know
<v Speaker 4>who like was on drugs, like had like a drug problem,
<v Speaker 4>and they finally got clean, you know, and they like
<v Speaker 4>were like on the straight and arrow and they were like, actually,
<v Speaker 4>you know, on a good path, and you thought there
<v Speaker 4>was no way in hell that they would go back
<v Speaker 4>to their old ways. I kind of feel like that
<v Speaker 4>is how with what's going on with the women's division.
<v Speaker 4>Like they had a really bad problem with the ruthless
<v Speaker 4>aggression era and attitude era, and they finally put on
<v Speaker 4>a pedestal and they finally were getting me attention, and
<v Speaker 4>it looked like things were really going in a different
<v Speaker 4>direction for me, and you just thought, in your mind,
<v Speaker 4>there's no way in hell they're ever going to go
<v Speaker 4>back to what they were. It's only going to get
<v Speaker 4>better from here. You know, you thought that maybe at
<v Speaker 4>some point that gap between the men and the women
<v Speaker 4>would really get closed with women like Charlotte and Becky
<v Speaker 4>Lynch and at the time Ronda Rowsey on the roster.
<v Speaker 4>But it almost seems like that whole women's evolution revolution
<v Speaker 4>was literally Ronda Rowsy as a whole. I mean, I
<v Speaker 4>didn't believe it at the time. I thought, you know, whatever,
<v Speaker 4>you know, if you leave, it's no big deal. We're
<v Speaker 4>going to go on without you. But I mean, it
<v Speaker 4>almost seems like she was the glue that was really
<v Speaker 4>holding it together. I mean, at least in terms of
<v Speaker 4>legitimacy or credibility, because I mean, nobody really takes it
<v Speaker 4>serious anymore since she's been gone, and I has she
<v Speaker 4>been gone since the night of WrestleMania that night when
<v Speaker 4>she lost her championship. Yep, dang sy, I didn't realize
<v Speaker 4>it was actually over two years now, So that's that's
<v Speaker 4>pretty crazy to think about it. But I guess, just
<v Speaker 4>the women's division, I hope that at some point they'll
<v Speaker 4>kind of they'll hit another gear, maybe catch a second
<v Speaker 4>win where they can start getting boosted up again. But
<v Speaker 4>it's hard to feel that way when you look at
<v Speaker 4>the roster they've absolutely decimated it. I mean, Becky Lynz
<v Speaker 4>coming back is one hundred percent going to help. She's
<v Speaker 4>going to be a shot in the arm that's going
<v Speaker 4>to really give it a kick that it really needs.
<v Speaker 4>But I mean, we need Sasha Banks back, we need
<v Speaker 4>all hands on deck and really, you know, pull out
<v Speaker 4>all the stops. We need them to. Actually, there's no cause.
<v Speaker 4>I literally I watched the China documentary yesterday actually, which
<v Speaker 4>is a really good one. If any of you fans
<v Speaker 4>out there are China fans or just watching the Attitude era,
<v Speaker 4>you're definitely going to want to watch that documentary. It
<v Speaker 4>was a hell of a documentary on Vice, but it
<v Speaker 4>kind of just takes you back and shows you like
<v Speaker 4>where the women's division was at one point and how
<v Speaker 4>there were those trail blazers and just looking at where
<v Speaker 4>we are now. I mean it is kind of tough
<v Speaker 4>to watch. I mean me personally, I still have quite
<v Speaker 4>a few, Like none of my favorite women's wrestlers have
<v Speaker 4>been released yet. I mean I love Natalia when I
<v Speaker 4>first started watching back in twenty fourteen when I came
<v Speaker 4>back to the WWE, and then Live Morgan, obviously she's
<v Speaker 4>the one who I really really like right now, there's
<v Speaker 4>some women in NXT as well, which the NXT division
<v Speaker 4>is completely its own little thing, you know, like we
<v Speaker 4>can crap on the main roster and how their women's
<v Speaker 4>division is, but the NXT women's Division, I feel like,
<v Speaker 4>is how you do it, or at least it's done
<v Speaker 4>right and maybe, you know, just a smaller show, a
<v Speaker 4>bigger roster. It's obviously going to be easier, but I
<v Speaker 4>feel like, number one, they got to get all the
<v Speaker 4>people back. It's kind of like a football team. You know,
<v Speaker 4>if you have your starting wide receiver and you're starting
<v Speaker 4>quarterback injured, You're you're not gonna do that well, you know.
<v Speaker 4>So with Becky Linton Shasha just basically out of the
<v Speaker 4>picture right now, I feel like they're definitely at a disadvantage.
<v Speaker 4>But when they get back, maybe closing out twenty twenty one,
<v Speaker 4>we might see the women's division get a little bit
<v Speaker 4>of a better push.

<v Speaker 1>now it's had it's the lowest point it's been since.

<v Speaker 1>the whole TV is give DVS a Chance thing started.
<v Speaker 1>I really believe that right now it is at its
<v Speaker 1>lowest point. And it's not just in the way that
<v Speaker 1>the how little on air time sometimes women are getting
<v Speaker 1>in each show, but it's rather how they're used. And
<v Speaker 1>I mean, look at Shanna Bezil for example. I mean
<v Speaker 1>they we just talked touched on the Lexa Bliss and
<v Speaker 1>Nikki Cross versus Shanna Bailer and Nijacks. We didn't really
<v Speaker 1>talk about the match, but I think the well the
<v Speaker 1>negatives about that match was number one, it was it
<v Speaker 1>wasn't that great. But number two Shanna Basler, who is
<v Speaker 1>just criminally being underutilized and sacrificed for what the alexiblist character.
<v Speaker 1>I think that that's such a big mistake for Shanna
<v Speaker 1>Basler to be involved in any of this. She should
<v Speaker 1>just get as far away as possible. I've said this
<v Speaker 1>over and over. Get back to basics with her. Just
<v Speaker 1>make her a solo act. You don't have to have
<v Speaker 1>a few with Nia Jacks. Just just break them up,
<v Speaker 1>no feud necessary, and have her just start snapping arms again.
<v Speaker 1>That's all you need to do with her, and it works,
<v Speaker 1>and she's so believable. She's got a credentialed MMBA background.
<v Speaker 1>It doesn't make any sense what they're doing with her
<v Speaker 1>with Alexa Bliss, and she's taking pinfalls now every time
<v Speaker 1>she's in a tag team. It's ridiculous. But as far
<v Speaker 1>as the women's vision as a whole, yes, I mean
<v Speaker 1>on the horizon, we've got Becky Lynch, We've got we've
<v Speaker 1>got Sasha Banks coming back. We potentially. I mean, I
<v Speaker 1>don't think it's gonna happen in twenty twenty one, but
<v Speaker 1>rumors of Ronda Rowsy floating out there, I don't think
<v Speaker 1>that had happened until twenty twenty two. I mean, I
<v Speaker 1>believe she's pregnant right now. Yeah, she is, so yeah. No,
<v Speaker 1>it's gonna be a long time before we see I
<v Speaker 1>think Ronda Rousey back, if ever, I mean on a
<v Speaker 1>full time basis. But Ronda Rowsey, like you said, she
<v Speaker 1>was kind of the crescendo, the top of the mountain,
<v Speaker 1>the pinnacle of the raw and smack down women's Divisions vision.
<v Speaker 1>And then ever since then, ever since that triple threat
<v Speaker 1>with Becky and Charlotte it's kind of been like a
<v Speaker 1>slow decline into back to what it was a little
<v Speaker 1>bit into the Ruthal Suggression era. And if people don't
<v Speaker 1>think I'm overstating this, what have they done with a
<v Speaker 1>Carmela character? Right? They've sexualized her into just this woman
<v Speaker 1>that's all about how beautiful she is and her body
<v Speaker 1>and her curves and her makeup and whatever it's you
<v Speaker 1>have that you have Lashly with Lashly's ladies essentially just
<v Speaker 1>kind of upgraded twenty twenty one prostitutes who are walking
<v Speaker 1>around with him on a weekly basis. You have Lived Morgan,
<v Speaker 1>who actually this week did get some on air Mike Time.
<v Speaker 1>I can't remember the last time I heard Live Morgan
<v Speaker 1>on a microphone, which is great to hear. But now
<v Speaker 1>we have we had her have to qualify, even though
<v Speaker 1>she we had who was it, Carmela, Yeah, Carmela. She
<v Speaker 1>It made no sense to me because initially who was
<v Speaker 1>out there, who was the SmackDown GM that was? It
<v Speaker 1>wasn't Adam Pierce who said I'm gonna announce the women
<v Speaker 1>who are in the money in the bank ladder match.
<v Speaker 1>And I'm thinking to myself, Okay, well, the men have
<v Speaker 1>to qualify with matches, but the women just get announced,
<v Speaker 1>and I'm thinking that doesn't make sense, But then it
<v Speaker 1>does make sense because they can't do qualifying match since
<v Speaker 1>they're not enough women to do qualifying matches for they
<v Speaker 1>just have to kind of pick everyone that's not in
<v Speaker 1>a championship program and stick them in. Like that's essentially
<v Speaker 1>what this was. And I get that, but it made
<v Speaker 1>no sense that she announced Sony Deville announced Carmela as
<v Speaker 1>qualifying for the match, and then announced Live Morgan has
<v Speaker 1>qualified for the match, and then said, well, wait, if
<v Speaker 1>you want to prove yourself, you have to face Carmela.
<v Speaker 1>Wait a minute, you just told me I qualified. Why
<v Speaker 1>do I have to face Carmelo to quick? That was
<v Speaker 1>a little bit of a disconnect for me. But you know, hey,
<v Speaker 1>at least Live Morgan's getting MIC time.
<v Speaker 4>There is that, yeah, for sure, and Live as somebody
<v Speaker 4>who I hope And because the segment you and the
<v Speaker 4>casual wrestling fan had a couple weeks ago, that was
<v Speaker 4>a very fun segment up until you guys got to
<v Speaker 4>Live Morgan. That's when I was like, all right, that's
<v Speaker 4>bad enough there, But I'm just kidding. But anyways, I
<v Speaker 4>do love Live so I hope that she can. She
<v Speaker 4>can be somebody that, you know, gets a little bit
<v Speaker 4>of momentum behind her. I mean, seeing her beat Carmela
<v Speaker 4>and earned, so to speak, her spot and the money
<v Speaker 4>in the bank ladder match, it does have a little
<v Speaker 4>bit of confidence for me. I don't think she's going
<v Speaker 4>to win. I don't think she's ready for that yet.
<v Speaker 4>I think that she's she's someone who needs to kind of.
<v Speaker 4>I mean, she hasn't even really done what Carmelo has done,
<v Speaker 4>you know, kind of flew her way into one of
<v Speaker 4>those championship title reigns. And however long it ended up
<v Speaker 4>being whenever she had James OL's with I'm not even sure.
<v Speaker 4>I mean, I'm pretty sure it ended up being pretty long.
<v Speaker 4>But I don't think Live Morgan's even there yet. I
<v Speaker 4>feel like she still has a little bit of work
<v Speaker 4>to do inside the ring, and just on the MIC,
<v Speaker 4>I am a little bit worried just whenever it comes
<v Speaker 4>to the fact that she's been in the company for
<v Speaker 4>a few years now already, I mean, she was in
<v Speaker 4>XT probably for like five or six years. But the
<v Speaker 4>fact that she's been on the main roster for this
<v Speaker 4>long and she really still has nothing like that she
<v Speaker 4>can actually hang her hat on. I mean, other than

<v Speaker 4>overcomes whatever odds that are in front of her, you know,
<v Speaker 4>I do like to see that with Live. But I mean,
<v Speaker 4>it really is tough to get excited for this money
<v Speaker 4>in the bank Women's match just becoming last year, how
<v Speaker 4>it happened with who, you know, the briefcase didn't even
<v Speaker 4>have like twenty four hours of existence. As soon as
<v Speaker 4>Oscar won it the very next night, it was gone
<v Speaker 4>because she ended up winning the championship, And I feel
<v Speaker 4>like they don't really take advantage of that enough the year,
<v Speaker 4>the calendar year that you have to cash that in,
<v Speaker 4>at least in a couple of years they haven't. I

<v Speaker 1>mean they have. They always love to present you statistics

<v Speaker 1>is Michael called this past week said over eighty percent
<v Speaker 1>of the time, it's guaranteed you'll win. I'm like, well,
<v Speaker 1>you can't have a guarantee and only eighty percent, Michael,
<v Speaker 1>I mean like, so it's either eighty percent or it's guaranteed,
<v Speaker 1>which is one hundred percent. So you can't use guarantee
<v Speaker 1>in an eighty percent scenario. So I thought that was
<v Speaker 1>kind of a funny thing that he said, But I
<v Speaker 1>get it, like they like to make sure that when
<v Speaker 1>they have the briefcase that they can tout that high

<v Speaker 1>and I think that in front of fans, it's gonna
<v Speaker 1>be a lot more fun. And I hope they do
<v Speaker 1>string it out whoever the winners are, they don't just
<v Speaker 1>cash it in that night. The thing is with this match,
<v Speaker 1>I think we've kind of seen almost every scenario play

<v Speaker 4>armpits where his shoulder blades are kind of were they were.

<v Speaker 4>mentioned the King of the Ring Tournament. I was like, wait,

<v Speaker 4>I just feel like, if you're going to bring that up,

<v Speaker 4>feel like that's kind of something that should definitely be

<v Speaker 1>or on camera on the camera mic, he said, this
<v Speaker 1>is like a new beginning, this is the new start.
<v Speaker 1>You know, we're re uh, we're straightening things out. There
<v Speaker 1>was something along those lines he was yelling after his victory, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>this past week.
<v Speaker 4>So I was actually about to ask if you were
<v Speaker 4>referring to after the match, because yeah, I did notice that,
<v Speaker 4>I said, from this day fourth, you know, we're not
<v Speaker 4>messing around anymore, YadA YadA or YadA YadA YadA. But
<v Speaker 4>I did actually notice that Apollo during that match, the
<v Speaker 4>qualifying matches past Friday on SmackDown, I noticed that he
<v Speaker 4>was actually doing like New Day taunts, which isn't anything new.
<v Speaker 4>You know, people do that all the time. I mean
<v Speaker 4>they've done it for the past however many years. But
<v Speaker 4>he was doing like the clapping his New Day was
<v Speaker 4>like as big Ee was trying to get so he's
<v Speaker 4>doing like the New Day clap and he was kind
<v Speaker 4>of moving his hips around just you know, taunting him
<v Speaker 4>like that. And I was just thinking, I mean, that
<v Speaker 4>feels like he's still a member of the New Day
<v Speaker 4>whenever his opponents are taunting him like that, still doing
<v Speaker 4>that type of stuff. And you would think that would
<v Speaker 4>make Biggie want to really distance himself from that. But
<v Speaker 4>just as far as you know the group itself, whether
<v Speaker 4>WWE wants to do it or not, I don't feel
<v Speaker 4>like they make it out of twenty twenty one. I
<v Speaker 4>really don't. I feel like at some point it's I mean,
<v Speaker 4>I feel like it's actually starting to get sped up
<v Speaker 4>a little bit. I mean, they're getting absolutely roasted by

<v Speaker 4>the hilarious thing about it is not only are they
<v Speaker 4>getting just completely ripped apart, but it all makes sense.
<v Speaker 4>And it's almost, you know, secondhand embarrassing for them because
<v Speaker 4>you're like, man, I mean he's saying what we're all
<v Speaker 4>thinking right now.
<v Speaker 1>No, it's true. That's the thing like that. And that's

<v Speaker 1>they healed? They're not lying to us. Yes, true, the
<v Speaker 1>heels can spit truth. That is that is hard to hear,
<v Speaker 1>and people hate to hear the truth when it's tough.

<v Speaker 1>not one of those cases. He's not trashing the fans

<v Speaker 1>two years ago and all of a sudden, you just

<v Speaker 1>care to bring up that you lost the championship and

<v Speaker 1>forgot about it, then apparently it's not important to you

<v Speaker 1>seven seconds or whatever it was. And I think that
<v Speaker 1>that's one of the most egregious things to me for
<v Speaker 1>Kobe Kingston. But any final thoughts before we continue on here?
<v Speaker 4>No, I think I went ahead and I feel like
<v Speaker 4>I got my thoughts out on the new day, so yeah,

<v Speaker 1>to Let's move on to Drew McIntyre, because Drew McIntyre
<v Speaker 1>faced Ridal this past week and I think it was
<v Speaker 1>a really good match. I mean, I really enjoyed these
<v Speaker 1>two together and the match quality that mctire's had really
<v Speaker 1>since the Royal Rumble when he eliminated brock Lesend before
<v Speaker 1>COVID and our whole world got up thrown upside down,
<v Speaker 1>I think he has been match quality wise, really good,
<v Speaker 1>just very consistent from that time forward, and he will
<v Speaker 1>forever be remembered as the guy that steered the ship
<v Speaker 1>through the pandemic era, or as they like to call it,
<v Speaker 1>the thunder Doome era. I think that he was the
<v Speaker 1>guy that is unfortunately that guy, and I'm sure that
<v Speaker 1>he would say that he's got the worst luck in
<v Speaker 1>the world with the timing of things and fans leaving,
<v Speaker 1>and he's not able to ce celebrate in front of fans.
<v Speaker 1>But that all said, this match was really good. With Riddle,
<v Speaker 1>I think we can all say that we are glad
<v Speaker 1>that Riddle at least kicked out the chance of Drew
<v Speaker 1>Mcatire being a part of the money in the Bank, until,
<v Speaker 1>of course, we heard that it's going to be a
<v Speaker 1>second chance opportunity this coming week with the losers of
<v Speaker 1>those matches getting a second opportunity to be a part
<v Speaker 1>of the money in the bank, assuming Drew is not
<v Speaker 1>in that match, and I hope for his sake he's
<v Speaker 1>not because the fans I think, will destroy him in
<v Speaker 1>that match if he's a part of the money of
<v Speaker 1>the Bank briefcase match, because nobody wants to see I
<v Speaker 1>don't think at this time Drew in the title picture,
<v Speaker 1>in the conversation, anywhere near it. Put him in a
<v Speaker 1>personal blood feud, get him in something that's beyond his
<v Speaker 1>obsession with the championship. I think that will do him well.
<v Speaker 1>So but nonetheless, I really enjoyed this. It also gave
<v Speaker 1>Riddle that next bump into Hey, you know, I'm in
<v Speaker 1>the Money Bank ladder match. Now Randy Orton is not.
<v Speaker 1>And Randy Orton lost his match because of a distraction
<v Speaker 1>by Riddle this past week. So give your thoughts on
<v Speaker 1>this kind of whole wrap up here with McIntyre, Riddle
<v Speaker 1>and Orton.
<v Speaker 4>Well, I will say, so they haven't announced who's going
<v Speaker 4>to be in that triple because I did hear on
<v Speaker 4>Raw that there's going to be a triple threat second
<v Speaker 4>second chance opportunity for people who lost, So they didn't
<v Speaker 4>announce who's going to be in that match yet.
<v Speaker 1>I thought it was so I thought it was just
<v Speaker 1>the losers, all the losers of the past week. But
<v Speaker 1>if they had more than they had more than three, right,
<v Speaker 1>they had more than three qual fire match so yeah, okay,
<v Speaker 1>so yeah, okay.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, sorry about that. On Raw, they actually have five
<v Speaker 4>of those qualifying matches, so whenever they said three, I
<v Speaker 4>wasn't sure if they listed him. I know for sure
<v Speaker 4>AJ Styles is going to be in and he lost
<v Speaker 4>to Ricochet. Randy Yorton is going to be in that
<v Speaker 4>one as well, so it would makes sense, I guess,
<v Speaker 4>for Drew to be involved. But one thing I will say,
<v Speaker 4>I guess just playing Devil's advocate for having Drew McIntyre
<v Speaker 4>in the money in the bank, not having him win it,
<v Speaker 4>but just having him in the match, just strictly to
<v Speaker 4>get him in that grudge match, that blood feud that
<v Speaker 4>you're referring to kind of similar to what they did
<v Speaker 4>with Roman Reigns. Coincidentally, at Money in the Bank a
<v Speaker 4>few years ago, they had him in perfect position to
<v Speaker 4>win it and he was reaching up to grab the
<v Speaker 4>briefcase and the lights turned out. They turned back on
<v Speaker 4>bray Wyatt's there at the very bottom, pushes him off
<v Speaker 4>the ladder. He doesn't win, and that sets him up
<v Speaker 4>with a feud going on with bray Wyatt. So I
<v Speaker 4>feel like, if you have him in there, that could be,
<v Speaker 4>you know, a gateway to get him in that. Have
<v Speaker 4>somebody I don't know who it is, you know, they
<v Speaker 4>can start something brand new. Have somebody from NXT come
<v Speaker 4>up since the drafts happening sometimes soon. Anyway, it could
<v Speaker 4>be anybody. And I know it has to make sense,
<v Speaker 4>of course, but I mean it could be somebody that
<v Speaker 4>that cheats, drew out or screws him over and stops
<v Speaker 4>him from winning that Money in the Bank briefcase and
<v Speaker 4>that's how he gets in the grudge match. But with
<v Speaker 4>where he is right now, I mean, I agree, he's
<v Speaker 4>definitely the poster child for that pandemic era, the Thundernome era.
<v Speaker 4>However you want to look at it, he is the
<v Speaker 4>face of that completely agree his match, his en ring
<v Speaker 4>work is literally as good as it gets for somebody
<v Speaker 4>that's as popular as him, who's being you know, looked
<v Speaker 4>at as the top guy, the top baby face in
<v Speaker 4>the company. For him to deliver night in, night out
<v Speaker 4>and put on that level, you know, that that level
<v Speaker 4>of work, this consistent, I mean, I feel like that
<v Speaker 4>can't go overlooked. So I agreed, I'm glad you brought
<v Speaker 4>that up. But with Riddle, I feel like he's just
<v Speaker 4>scratching the surface here. He's finally starting to kind of
<v Speaker 4>get over to some of the fans that you know,
<v Speaker 4>didn't want to look past kind of his personality, because
<v Speaker 4>I do feel like that's really how he is to
<v Speaker 4>an extent. It's definitely turned up a little bit. Like
<v Speaker 4>he's not a complete dofist in real life, I don't think,
<v Speaker 4>but I do think that for the most part. I mean,
<v Speaker 4>he definitely does smoke marijuana, you know, so he definitely
<v Speaker 4>does have that mentality and that kind of trait to
<v Speaker 4>his personality that he likes to show on WWE. So
<v Speaker 4>I feel like, just as far as in the ring,
<v Speaker 4>people are starting to fight or his character, people are
<v Speaker 4>starting to kind of, you know, look past that and
<v Speaker 4>they're actually focusing on man when this guy is in
<v Speaker 4>the ring and it's in a vacuum and you're just
<v Speaker 4>looking at him. Work man, he can really go and
<v Speaker 4>I feel like he rises to his competition, and we
<v Speaker 4>saw that this Monday night with Drew McIntyre, and I'm
<v Speaker 4>glad that he earned his spot and the money in
<v Speaker 4>the Bank Ladder match. I like what they're doing with
<v Speaker 4>Brandy Orton kind of saying, hey, I mean Riddle kind
<v Speaker 4>of pitched the idea like, dude, if you win that
<v Speaker 4>triple threat match and you end up in the money
<v Speaker 4>in the Bank Ladder match with me, then we get
<v Speaker 4>to both be fighting for an opportunity at the WW Championship,
<v Speaker 4>which I do think that they're being very specific. In
<v Speaker 4>years past they mentioned whatever championship you choose, you can
<v Speaker 4>go from whatever you can cash it in. Now they're
<v Speaker 4>being very specific. On SmackDown they reference if you win,
<v Speaker 4>you can go for the Universal Championship, and on Raw
<v Speaker 4>they both they were very specific when they said the
<v Speaker 4>WW Championship, and I'll see if they continue to do
<v Speaker 4>that going forward. But that's something that I definitely noticed
<v Speaker 4>and Randy Orton kind of said whenever Riddle said we
<v Speaker 4>could both be fighting for that, he said, uh, or
<v Speaker 4>Riddle said, wouldn't that be cool? And Orton just said,
<v Speaker 4>not for you? So you could are kind of still
<v Speaker 4>just they're keeping in the back of your mind like
<v Speaker 4>something's going to happen here. I mean, we all know
<v Speaker 4>something's going to happen, but I mean, I do. I
<v Speaker 4>love this RK bro stuff. I feel like it's exciting.
<v Speaker 4>It's one of the good bright spots of Monday Night Raw,
<v Speaker 4>which we all know isn't desperate need of some bright spots,
<v Speaker 4>but I do. I mean, I hate to say, but
<v Speaker 4>the Miz, you know, being injured, I don't want to
<v Speaker 4>just transition over to the Miz, but I do like
<v Speaker 4>that we're seeing less and less of him. I do
<v Speaker 4>feel like that does help Monday Night Raw. As crazy
<v Speaker 4>as that sounds, just him, you don't ever want to
<v Speaker 4>see somebody get injured, but I mean him being on
<v Speaker 4>the TV less with uh John Morrison also qualifying for
<v Speaker 4>the match, You're going to see more of him. And
<v Speaker 4>obviously he did interfere squirting Randy Orton in the face
<v Speaker 4>with that dripstick. Whatever the hell they called it, but
<v Speaker 4>so I don't know. I mean, just as far as
<v Speaker 4>Drew McIntyre goes in this whole picture, I definitely think
<v Speaker 4>he's probably there's eight spots. I feel like it's going
<v Speaker 4>to be. I can think of eight guys to put
<v Speaker 4>in that money in the bank ladder match and not
<v Speaker 4>include Drew. But I don't know if WW is going
<v Speaker 4>to actually give but some of those guys an opportunity,
<v Speaker 4>you know. So I feel like definitely not gonna win.
<v Speaker 4>He'll probably get booed by a big majority of the
<v Speaker 4>fans if he does end up in that ladder match.
<v Speaker 4>But I do think there are some avenues you can
<v Speaker 4>take once he gets in it to actually get him
<v Speaker 4>involved in something else that doesn't involve either of the
<v Speaker 4>top championships.
<v Speaker 1>There is a way, and absolutely I could see it happening.
<v Speaker 1>My fear though, is, like we all kind of said,
<v Speaker 1>is that the fans are gonna boo anytime McIntyre gets
<v Speaker 1>on the ladder. I believe there'll be probably not one
<v Speaker 1>hundred percent zero, but it'd probably be sixty forty of
<v Speaker 1>the fans booing Drew McIntyre climbing the ladder because of
<v Speaker 1>it's just exhaustion. It's exhaustion of McIntyre being in the
<v Speaker 1>title picture for so long. And it's not his fault, right,
<v Speaker 1>Money Night raw Is has been and still is in
<v Speaker 1>desperate need of a top baby face beyond Drew, and
<v Speaker 1>really there isn't one. It's Drew and then everyone else.
<v Speaker 1>So it's it's crazy fault. Yeah, it's not to cut
<v Speaker 1>you off.
<v Speaker 4>It's just crazy that you just said that in talking
<v Speaker 4>about a roster that has AJ Styles on it, that
<v Speaker 4>that's just crazy to me.
<v Speaker 1>It is, and we'll get to AJ Styles actually next.
<v Speaker 1>I want to just I want to kind of close
<v Speaker 1>out McIntyre here by saying they could put him in
<v Speaker 1>the Money in the Bank briefcase matchup, and yes, he'd
<v Speaker 1>get booed and someone could screw him. I don't think
<v Speaker 1>anybody believes McIntyre would win if he somehow got in
<v Speaker 1>that match, which I don't think he'll even get in
<v Speaker 1>that match, but if he did and he's climbing the
<v Speaker 1>ladder and we could have someone screw him, which sets
<v Speaker 1>up a blood feud. I think the problem with that
<v Speaker 1>would be though, that if you're trying to keep McIntyre babyface,
<v Speaker 1>the heel whoever he is that screws over McIntyre from
<v Speaker 1>grabbing the briefcase would immediately be cheered. I mean, because
<v Speaker 1>people don't want to see McIntyre at all with the briefcase.
<v Speaker 1>So the reaction for that person, even though they're being
<v Speaker 1>built a heel, they would get probably massively cheered and
<v Speaker 1>you know, they'd get the thank you chance or something.
<v Speaker 4>From that's a good point. So that's a good point.
<v Speaker 1>That's the problem that I see. I get it, and
<v Speaker 1>that's a way to get into a program that's not
<v Speaker 1>about the w W Championship. But I think that the
<v Speaker 1>reaction from fans would be like, you know, hey, thank
<v Speaker 1>you God that he didn't get it. Whoever you are,
<v Speaker 1>thank you, And that's not what you're trying to do
<v Speaker 1>with a heel. So well, before we transition to AJ styles,
<v Speaker 1>did you I want to give you opportunity to have
<v Speaker 1>any other thoughts on mcatyre or where he's going.
<v Speaker 4>Potentially I'm hopefully over to SmackDown. I mean, I love
<v Speaker 4>I hope that, yeah, I hope that we can get
<v Speaker 4>him over there. Let him just get a breath of
<v Speaker 4>fresh air. I mean, I don't know, he might be
<v Speaker 4>taking a break I don't think he's the type of
<v Speaker 4>guy that likes to take breaks. It's like where he
<v Speaker 4>is in his career, he definitely does not, and he
<v Speaker 4>wants to be on the road as much as he can.

<v Speaker 4>get him off one inn raw, get him over to
<v Speaker 4>SmackDown if you do want to make him work with

<v Speaker 4>Lesnar Jim Ross was basically saying that the match between
<v Speaker 4>brock Lesner and stone Cold was just thrown together. You
<v Speaker 4>know that there was no build up to it, and
<v Speaker 4>it was a match that had dollar signs written all
<v Speaker 4>over it, and that was stone Cold's problem with it.
<v Speaker 4>Jim Ross, that actually made no sense. And I do
<v Speaker 4>feel like, obviously not to nearly the same extent whatsoever,
<v Speaker 4>but that's kind of what happened there. I mean, I
<v Speaker 4>feel like they kind of just ruined it. They kind
<v Speaker 4>of just gave it to us without any build. The
<v Speaker 4>build was just, well, you're the champion from Raw, I'm

<v Speaker 1>thin on baby faces as it is, then certainly you
<v Speaker 1>could ease. You can make mctyre heel. We've seen him
<v Speaker 1>here before. He's good as a heel, So I think
<v Speaker 1>eventually you're gonna see mctyre back as that heel when
<v Speaker 1>he especially when he came in as Shane McMahon's heavy
<v Speaker 1>if we all remember that. So yeah, definitely mcatyre needs
<v Speaker 1>a refresh, a reset. And I'm not talking about bringing
<v Speaker 1>up the next you know, war generals or whatever weird
<v Speaker 1>history analogy he's trying to bring up that he can
<v Speaker 1>never really relate back to his promo. It's always just
<v Speaker 1>he brings up a story about Scottish Scottish wars or
<v Speaker 1>the American like, I don't know what Thomas Jefferson like,

<v Speaker 1>not a fan of it. I don't understand the analogy.

<v Speaker 4>about how the AJ Styles an almost thing is going
<v Speaker 4>to end, which makes me actually interested in that because
<v Speaker 4>I do think that there are several ways to do it,
<v Speaker 4>but with how I think that they're going to do it,
<v Speaker 4>I don't think that they should do AJ versus Almost.
<v Speaker 4>I feel like that would I mean, I don't know.
<v Speaker 4>I mean personally, I wouldn't really be interested in that,

<v Speaker 4>AJ Styles clearly has a lot more days behind him

<v Speaker 4>they're pretty they're booked, like, I mean, who the hell
<v Speaker 4>is going to stop them? With almost being booked as
<v Speaker 4>just an absolute force. It's tough to actually think about it, man,
<v Speaker 4>because I really haven't really tried to forecast how it's
<v Speaker 4>going to end. But if I were to guess, m
<v Speaker 4>it has I feel like with their group me personally,
<v Speaker 4>off the top of my head, I feel like it
<v Speaker 4>would have to be a turn by one of them. Somehow.
<v Speaker 4>I don't feel like AJ would turn on Almost. I
<v Speaker 4>feel like maybe at some point it kind of gets
<v Speaker 4>to like where he's just disrespecting him, maybe like they
<v Speaker 4>lose the championships because of almost somehow, and then on
<v Speaker 4>a weekly basis, Aj kind of just starts losing it
<v Speaker 4>almost isn't doing his part as much, and he starts
<v Speaker 4>to kind of be disrespectful to him, and you know,
<v Speaker 4>the crowds like saying like, when you're going to retaliate almost,
<v Speaker 4>you know, when you're you going to actually stand up
<v Speaker 4>for yourself and you know, put Aj in his place
<v Speaker 4>and maybe eventually, you know, just actually does that. That
<v Speaker 4>could be something now that I'm thinking of it, that
<v Speaker 4>you know, makes sense to me, but I really haven't. Uh,
<v Speaker 4>I haven't really thought too much about it. But man
<v Speaker 4>Aj Styles, He's He's somebody that I feel like Raw
<v Speaker 4>is extremely lucky to have on their roster. It sucks
<v Speaker 4>that he's being underutilized right now, or at least maybe misused,
<v Speaker 4>just given that there is a desperate need for babyfaces
<v Speaker 4>on the roster and you have a guy like Aj Styles.
<v Speaker 4>I mean, he can be heal or baby face, but
<v Speaker 4>I mean he's more than capable of being a top
<v Speaker 4>baby face. So I would love to see that. I
<v Speaker 4>would love to see it at some point with I
<v Speaker 4>don't know if I want to see it against Bobby
<v Speaker 4>Lashley though, because I like I like AJ Styles, he
<v Speaker 4>can go against bigger guys. But I feel like whenever
<v Speaker 4>he was going against guys like Daniel Bryan and John Cena,
<v Speaker 4>he even went with Seth Rollins for a little bit,
<v Speaker 4>guys who kind of match his style. I think they're
<v Speaker 4>they're the ones who put on the best matches, although
<v Speaker 4>that's not what we're here for, but it's just pleasant
<v Speaker 4>to watch, so I mean, I don't really know. I
<v Speaker 4>do think that at some point it could be, you know,
<v Speaker 4>some sort of turn and if I was going to guess,
<v Speaker 4>I would say almost is going to be the one
<v Speaker 4>who does eventually turn on AJ.

<v Speaker 1>I don't know when they're gonna plan on doing that.
<v Speaker 1>Whenever they decide that the value of AJ Styles as
<v Speaker 1>a singles competitor is higher than him in a tag team,
<v Speaker 1>which I think is always the case. I don't think
<v Speaker 1>there's really an argument to be made that AJ is
<v Speaker 1>better in a tag team. You know, I understand that
<v Speaker 1>the tag team division itself is thin, and it's thin too,
<v Speaker 1>but I think the value of AJ Styles is so
<v Speaker 1>much greater as a singles competitor than in a tag team,
<v Speaker 1>you know. And I would sacrifice the tag team division
<v Speaker 1>and its depth for AJ Styles going on his own,
<v Speaker 1>because I think that's where the money is. Kind Of
<v Speaker 1>like Shanna Besler, Shane Basler and AJ Styles right now
<v Speaker 1>are kind of in a similar position. Yeah, and they
<v Speaker 1>don't belong in tag teams, you know. At the same time,
<v Speaker 1>I'm always talking to the other side of my face saying, well,
<v Speaker 1>they you know, they don't do anything with the tag teams.
<v Speaker 1>Everything's so thin. Well, you have to look at it
<v Speaker 1>this way too, like they were singles competitors that just
<v Speaker 1>got thrown into a tag team division on their own,
<v Speaker 1>Like they they made a career out of being single stars,
<v Speaker 1>and then they get thrown in together with a random
<v Speaker 1>person as a tag team that's not a true tag team.
<v Speaker 1>Like when you think of real tag teams, you know,
<v Speaker 1>you think about people like the Viking Raiders, right, like
<v Speaker 1>they feel like a tag team, not just two individuals
<v Speaker 1>stuck together with the label of a tag team.
<v Speaker 4>So exactly, yea the problem and so I saw to
<v Speaker 4>cut you off, But I do feel like that there
<v Speaker 4>is a difference between or at least you can you know,
<v Speaker 4>pound the table for them to bring tag team wrestling
<v Speaker 4>back and you know, actually want it, wanted to be,
<v Speaker 4>you know, featured on the show in a prominent way.
<v Speaker 4>And on the same side, you can you know, complain
<v Speaker 4>about them putting single stars who don't who shouldn't be
<v Speaker 4>in a tag team in a tag team, because I
<v Speaker 4>feel like you can have both because they have tag
<v Speaker 4>teams that they unnecessarily split up. You know, tag teams
<v Speaker 4>that are that are straight up tag teams. Alpha Academy
<v Speaker 4>or No no, no, no, not Alpha Academy, American Alpha, who else,
<v Speaker 4>the Riot Squad, the Iconics, Yes, Heavy Machinery. There's so
<v Speaker 4>many tag teams that are true tag teams that they
<v Speaker 4>for whatever reason, they just split them up and whenever
<v Speaker 4>they do build, you know, a pretty good tag team
<v Speaker 4>or like a group that kind of forms organically like
<v Speaker 4>who was Andrade and Angel Garza and then Austin theory,
<v Speaker 4>like they have a group and for whatever reason, they
<v Speaker 4>just cannot help themselves and they split it up. So yes,
<v Speaker 4>I agree, I'm one of the guys who loves tag
<v Speaker 4>team wrestling and I'll pound the table, but I won't
<v Speaker 4>sacrifice that or I don't. I don't love tag team
<v Speaker 4>wrestling enough to just say, yeah, you know, go pluck
<v Speaker 4>a guy who's you know, a hell of a single
<v Speaker 4>star and put him in a tag team just so
<v Speaker 4>we can have tag team wrestling. Like, I feel like
<v Speaker 4>you can have both. Take care of your tag teams
<v Speaker 4>that you already have, don't split them up, keep them together,
<v Speaker 4>and you have a roster and you have a division already.
<v Speaker 4>They're built. We don't need more single stars. We don't.
<v Speaker 4>Nobody cares to see heavy machinery like Otis or Tucker.
<v Speaker 4>Nobody wants to see them in a singles role. Look
<v Speaker 4>at Otis now, he's automatically back into tag team. You
<v Speaker 4>shouldn't split them up in the first place. So I
<v Speaker 4>feel like, yeah, the tag team problem is self inflicted
<v Speaker 4>by WW either they kind of put themselves in that hole,
<v Speaker 4>and then we're kind of just the ones you have
<v Speaker 4>to deal with it. So I mean, yeah, I mean,
<v Speaker 4>I'm sorry to cut you off. I didn't mean you there.
<v Speaker 1>No, that's it's fine. I think that the tag team
<v Speaker 1>division for a long time was just completely ignored. I
<v Speaker 1>mean it felt it felt like they just forgot that
<v Speaker 1>they could even do tag team wrestling. And then they
<v Speaker 1>focus on it for a while, and then it goes away,
<v Speaker 1>and it kind of flares up and goes away, and
<v Speaker 1>flares up and goes away. But I don't think that
<v Speaker 1>the again, the net gain that they think they're getting
<v Speaker 1>from bringing a big single star and putting them in
<v Speaker 1>a tag team is going to outweigh them in a
<v Speaker 1>singles role chasing a top championship. I don't think that's
<v Speaker 1>ever the case, because, as you said, I'm not a
<v Speaker 1>guy that's gonna sit here and go tag team wrestling
<v Speaker 1>so damn good and so important. I don't care what
<v Speaker 1>they could do solo. No, we all know the big money,
<v Speaker 1>of course is in singles star a single startup. The
<v Speaker 1>like always been the case. I think that will continue
<v Speaker 1>to be the case. But when you look at AJ Styles,
<v Speaker 1>the fact that he was he won the championships, the
<v Speaker 1>tag team championships at WrestleMania wonderful. I think that was great,
<v Speaker 1>and then they just forgot about them for four weeks,
<v Speaker 1>brought them back, and then they're like on and off Hulu,
<v Speaker 1>which tells me what they think about tag team wrestling.
<v Speaker 1>It's really a crime that Aj Styles is never on
<v Speaker 1>Hulu nearly ever. Of course, until he just recently got
<v Speaker 1>back into relevancy and then you know he's still in
<v Speaker 1>this deal with though Mass, which I don't dislike him.
<v Speaker 1>I think he's fine, But I'm I think that AJ Styles,
<v Speaker 1>especially when there's a massive need for baby face, a
<v Speaker 1>babyface character on Raw, especially the caliber of AJ, why

<v Speaker 1>a baby face. He was a baby face for a
<v Speaker 1>long time on SmackDown. I mean, he was the face

<v Speaker 1>said on SmackDown on a weekly basis. That is AJ Styles,
<v Speaker 1>not this guy that's stuck in a tag team. And

<v Speaker 1>world where we have a really limited star power, you
<v Speaker 1>don't bury one of your top guys in a tag
<v Speaker 1>team for what the sake of building a monster heel

<v Speaker 1>week oscar in Naomi versus Evan Marie and Piper Niven

<v Speaker 1>was gonna say her name in the promo with Evan

<v Speaker 1>women's division in terms of tag teams perhaps call I mean,
<v Speaker 1>of course Becky Lynch, but Becky Lynch is not going
<v Speaker 1>to be involved in the tag team scene. So I
<v Speaker 1>don't know what they're going to do. It could be
<v Speaker 1>just kind of once every few months that we see
<v Speaker 1>these individual with Natalia and Tamina face a tag team.
<v Speaker 1>It's going to not exactly be the focal point of SmackDown,
<v Speaker 1>that's for sure. So maybe they just head to an
<v Speaker 1>XT because I'm not saying permanently, but they as champions
<v Speaker 1>are supposed to be able to float between brands anytime
<v Speaker 1>they want because of the champions, So maybe they headed
<v Speaker 1>over there.

<v Speaker 4>me because they created women's tag team belts on n XT,
<v Speaker 4>so it's kind of like it's like, yeah, it's almost like, man,

<v Speaker 1>Reea Ripley get it intentionally disqualified for the table spot,
<v Speaker 1>which was hilarious. And I said this because they just
<v Speaker 1>can't figure out what rules they want to abide by.
<v Speaker 1>They had immediately the next match Randy Orton slamming his
<v Speaker 1>opponent on the table multiple times and slamming his not
<v Speaker 1>just his body, his head onto the table and that's
<v Speaker 1>not a disqualification. We had this past week on SmackDown,
<v Speaker 1>Jimmy Usso facing Zeg Ziggler and he did zigzag on
<v Speaker 1>the steps and that wasn't a disqualification. So there's no
<v Speaker 1>consistency in their rules here. I mean, it's just blindly.
<v Speaker 1>It's just kind of the blindly the blind there, and
<v Speaker 1>I don't I don't know what to think about it,
<v Speaker 1>but yeah, so we got a match though at Monday
<v Speaker 1>in the Bank. Are you surprised by this or you

<v Speaker 4>Helena cell And I mean, it's kind of just they're
<v Speaker 4>kind of running in place, or at least that's kind
<v Speaker 4>of what I get from it. I you know, honestly,
<v Speaker 4>I haven't paid it as much attention to this storyline
<v Speaker 4>here recently, just because I haven't really been as interested

<v Speaker 4>lines of I didn't just lose my crown, I lost
<v Speaker 4>investments and a lot of other stuff and what's the
<v Speaker 4>point and just walked away. So I do feel like
<v Speaker 4>you're right there where you say that. Obviously, character change
<v Speaker 4>is coming. The fact that he did show emotion in
<v Speaker 4>the side of him that we really haven't seen before,
<v Speaker 4>like actually like looks like somebody got the better of him,
<v Speaker 4>like emotionally, like he's actually like sad. He's never been
<v Speaker 4>sad before. You know, we've seen him get embarrassed because

<v Speaker 4>I feel like he would be a good babyface if
<v Speaker 4>we actually gave him that opportunity. So I'd be interested
<v Speaker 4>if they were to show us that side of Baron Corban.

<v Speaker 4>still put the time into developing his character or just
<v Speaker 4>you know, completely scrapping it and just making him come

<v Speaker 4>this guy, because him as a as a heel right

<v Speaker 4>a different version of Baron Corbin. And even if it

<v Speaker 1>They've squeezed every ounce of juice that can get out
<v Speaker 1>of the heel run for him after several years of
<v Speaker 1>this really the same kind of heel character, and he
<v Speaker 1>was part of the he was like the some of
<v Speaker 1>the he was an authority figure I'm under net Raw
<v Speaker 1>for a while, and he was part of the Kurd angle.
<v Speaker 1>He was the final match for kurd Angle, which we
<v Speaker 1>all know is just a you know, just we all
<v Speaker 1>knew it should have been John Cena in that match,
<v Speaker 1>and you know, for for reasons that be, we couldn't
<v Speaker 1>get that match and anyway, so yeah, I'm finally ready
<v Speaker 1>for it. I've been ready for a babyface run for Corbyn.
<v Speaker 1>I'm just so curious to see what that is and
<v Speaker 1>if the fans get behind it or buy it or
<v Speaker 1>don't or whatever that looks like. So well, I want
<v Speaker 1>to move on here to a couple of final things
<v Speaker 1>on SmackDown that we didn't talk about, and that is
<v Speaker 1>Cizarrow and Bianca bell Air versus Seth, Rowlins and Bailey
<v Speaker 1>in a mixed tag team match. Now again, we all
<v Speaker 1>know the rules here, which are the men fight the men,
<v Speaker 1>the women fight the women at the same time. That's
<v Speaker 1>not true because as long as the men don't lay
<v Speaker 1>their hands on the women, the women can you know,
<v Speaker 1>do whatever they want to the men. That's just always
<v Speaker 1>the case. Nonetheless, we do have a match here, or
<v Speaker 1>a point where Cizarrow bumps into Rollin or what happened
<v Speaker 1>at the end of this match here, I'm drawn a blank.
<v Speaker 4>Well, Bianca had Bailey in like the position for the
<v Speaker 4>kod and Seth Rowland accidentally no air quotes bumped into
<v Speaker 4>bianca bel air as if he couldn't see it because
<v Speaker 4>because he like he was, he had his hand over
<v Speaker 4>his eyes, so we actually couldn't see. And then Bailey
<v Speaker 4>took advantage of that hit the need of the face
<v Speaker 4>and then eventually got the win on Bianca. But the
<v Speaker 4>thing I take away from this is it's it's completely
<v Speaker 4>like noticeable the chemistry that Bailey and Seth Rawlins have together.
<v Speaker 4>And I mentioned this on the SmackDown of You a
<v Speaker 4>few weeks ago Wheneber we first saw these two kind
<v Speaker 4>of have that segment where they were just laughing in
<v Speaker 4>the ring together, and it kind of it brought me
<v Speaker 4>back to whenever Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch had that
<v Speaker 4>Force tag team together, and it just the chemistry wasn't there,
<v Speaker 4>and it took weeks and weeks for them to finally
<v Speaker 4>realize that, Okay, we just got it. We got to
<v Speaker 4>pull these guys apart on camera. And I feel like
<v Speaker 4>Bailey and seth Rawlins they have what Becky Lynch and
<v Speaker 4>Seth Rawlins were what they wanted Becky and Seth Rawlins
<v Speaker 4>to have on camera. I feel like it's just natural
<v Speaker 4>chemistry they both have that just that annoying laugh. They're
<v Speaker 4>both kind of doing around the same things. I mean,
<v Speaker 4>I know it's kind of a coincidence, but the their
<v Speaker 4>theme songs were actually similar, Like the Bailey's current theme
<v Speaker 4>song right now, how it starts with like that choir
<v Speaker 4>type opening. Seth Rollins whenever he was the Messiah, his
<v Speaker 4>theme song kind of started similar, And for those few
<v Speaker 4>weeks that that was going on, maybe even longer, I
<v Speaker 4>feel like that that was something that always kind of
<v Speaker 4>confused me. I didn't know who was coming out at first,
<v Speaker 4>And I think that's obviously just a coincidence to the
<v Speaker 4>chemistry that they actually have. But I feel like Seth
<v Speaker 4>Rowlins clearly, as soon as he did his dirty work
<v Speaker 4>to Cesarrow and that match was over, he immediately turned
<v Speaker 4>his attention to Roman Reigns, went to the back, went backstage.
<v Speaker 4>He was just celebrating with Bailey and they were just
<v Speaker 4>poking fun at Bianca and Czarro and Bam flipped the
<v Speaker 4>switch and he's automatically turning his attention to the Universal Championships.
<v Speaker 4>I really liked seeing that from Seth, it does seem
<v Speaker 4>like him and Cesarrow might be might be coming to
<v Speaker 4>an end here pretty soon, if it's not already over.
<v Speaker 4>So that's kind of what I took away from that segment.
<v Speaker 4>I'm not really sure about Bailey and Bianca. I mean,
<v Speaker 4>do you think that maybe they might have another match
<v Speaker 4>here coming up?
<v Speaker 1>Maybe one more time. I think maybe the thing is
<v Speaker 1>you'd think Helen is Sell is the conclusion. But if
<v Speaker 1>there's gonna be another match, perhaps they interject one more
<v Speaker 1>person into this and make it a trible threat at
<v Speaker 1>Money the Bank. At the same time, they do need
<v Speaker 1>women to compete in the Money in the Bank ladder
<v Speaker 1>match itself, so perhaps they do keep it one on
<v Speaker 1>one because they're already thin on the women as it
<v Speaker 1>is to compete in the ladder match. But yeah, I'm
<v Speaker 1>with you on the chemistry between Bailey and Rollins. It
<v Speaker 1>is palpable. It's something like you said that only couples
<v Speaker 1>wish they could have on air, sometimes they don't. And
<v Speaker 1>the weird chemistry that we had Becky and Rollins, as
<v Speaker 1>we all Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins a couple of
<v Speaker 1>years ago, was just it was awkward. I think it
<v Speaker 1>actually hurt both of them, especially Becky Lynch. It did
<v Speaker 1>not come across in endearing. It was awkward, and this
<v Speaker 1>was just like, hey, these guys are all like I mean,
<v Speaker 1>Bailey and Rollins are just perfect for one another. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know what they can do with that, though, given
<v Speaker 1>that they're obviously in two different divisions with the men's
<v Speaker 1>and women's and there's no such thing obviously as a
<v Speaker 1>mixed tag team championship, Like, you can't you know, you
<v Speaker 1>can't do that. So I wouldn't mind seeing these two
<v Speaker 1>and more matches or more backstage interactions. But I don't
<v Speaker 1>know what that really leads to, because it's hard to
<v Speaker 1>have a destination with a uh this kind of you know,
<v Speaker 1>male female bonding as friends. I don't know what the
<v Speaker 1>endgame is for this, but we have Bailey and Rollins
<v Speaker 1>defeat bel Air and Cesarrow here, and I think it
<v Speaker 1>when you have the Heels win, that does tell you
<v Speaker 1>that they're probably going to have a rematch of some
<v Speaker 1>sort at money in the bank really, both Cesarrow and
<v Speaker 1>Rollins and bel Air and Bailey.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, I would expect that for sure. But I guess
<v Speaker 4>one thing I was going to ask gosh about I
<v Speaker 4>think it might have been about seth Rong or it
<v Speaker 4>was about the tag teamcause you said, what are they
<v Speaker 4>going to do? There's not a you know, a mixed
<v Speaker 4>tag division.
<v Speaker 1>I think that.
<v Speaker 4>I feel like, honestly, as soon as you said that,
<v Speaker 4>it's almost like a light bulb lit up over your
<v Speaker 4>head or my head or whatever, because I feel like,

<v Speaker 4>mixed tag teams, you have other tag team I know

<v Speaker 1>weakest looking finish of all time that we've discussed here
<v Speaker 1>and many times on the Show of the Big Ending,
<v Speaker 1>and that's when we talked about earlier. Biggie made the
<v Speaker 1>statement about this is like, you know, a fresh start
<v Speaker 1>of sorts. So we did get that with Big Eie winning,
<v Speaker 1>and that's fine because I don't I couldn't have seen
<v Speaker 1>the Intercontinental Champion going into the money the bank ladder match.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think there's a whole lot of things you
<v Speaker 1>could do there, and it would have made a whole
<v Speaker 1>lot of sense. But we also got Jimmy USO versus
<v Speaker 1>Dolf Ziggler in a match that is supposed to be
<v Speaker 1>believed that if Jimmy USO wins, then he's the right
<v Speaker 1>hand man of Roman Reigns. This is weird to me
<v Speaker 1>because Jay is m I a Jay is. We don't
<v Speaker 1>know where he is. This story I think has been
<v Speaker 1>really good though, by the way, as we all know,
<v Speaker 1>not really good eight. And it's weird because we had
<v Speaker 1>Jay Jimmy Usso say to Roman Reigns that I'm nobody's
<v Speaker 1>you know what PG show guys. But we he said,
<v Speaker 1>I'm nobody's you know what. At the same time, I
<v Speaker 1>want to be your right hand man, So how do
<v Speaker 1>I do that. I'm like, you just said that you're
<v Speaker 1>you're not nobody's lackey for better or better word, and
<v Speaker 1>yet you're also now asking how you can be your
<v Speaker 1>right hand man. Well that's a little bit contradictory. And
<v Speaker 1>apparently Dolf Ziggler is the gatekeeper and he is the
<v Speaker 1>guy that is to be, you know, the measuring stick
<v Speaker 1>of the brand for Jimmy Usso to defeat in order
<v Speaker 1>for him to become the right hand man, it was
<v Speaker 1>a little weird there. And I don't know really what
<v Speaker 1>to say about this, because I really I have been
<v Speaker 1>nothing but praising this story for ten months or ever long.
<v Speaker 1>Roman Reigins is turned heel ten months ago, and this
<v Speaker 1>is like the first time that I'm kind of like
<v Speaker 1>it's a little bit of logical here, like Jimmy is
<v Speaker 1>kind of going against what he just said he's not
<v Speaker 1>by asking how he can be you know, your lackey.
<v Speaker 1>And also why is Dolph Ziggler the guy that is
<v Speaker 1>going to be the gatekeeper for Jimmy usso a guy
<v Speaker 1>that I mean, everyone on the roster has beaten Dolf Ziggler.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, Dolf Zigler's career is one of the most
<v Speaker 1>just bizarre careers of all time. I don't know, there's
<v Speaker 1>a little bit kind of a disconnect for me there.

<v Speaker 4>thing I didn't like about this was how we didn't
<v Speaker 4>really understand why he didn't get the approval from Roman
<v Speaker 4>reigns of All Hamien, like they didn't really specify, like, well,
<v Speaker 4>the match wasn't up to our standards, but why you know,
<v Speaker 4>cause I mean he won with like literally And that's
<v Speaker 4>another thing I was gonna say. If we could take
<v Speaker 4>anything good from this, it's that the match ended with
<v Speaker 4>a super kike like j j Usso or Jimmy us So.

<v Speaker 4>the time on the SmackDown review. But Jimmy Usso he
<v Speaker 4>finally hit a super kick and it won the match,

<v Speaker 4>would win the match, huh? One two? And I was
<v Speaker 4>expecting a kickout, Like I was like almost like laughing

<v Speaker 4>actually did the three count, I was like, I'd like
<v Speaker 4>shut up and like eat my words immediately on the spot.
<v Speaker 4>And I did not expect that to happen. That literally
<v Speaker 4>never happens, So the fact that it did, I thought
<v Speaker 4>that was cool. I do agree. I saw you tweet
<v Speaker 4>that earlier in the day. Zigzag on the steps, Like,
<v Speaker 4>what the hell? How does that not cause a disqualification?
<v Speaker 4>Like it's how was that any better than picking the
<v Speaker 4>steps up and just hitting him over the head with it,

<v Speaker 1>I was messing around in my kitchen and I hear

<v Speaker 1>have to feel that way. You shouldn't have to feel
<v Speaker 1>that way that you look at it as a transition move.
<v Speaker 1>But we've been educated over the last several years that
<v Speaker 1>it's nothing more than really the equivalent of a closed line.

<v Speaker 1>And it's great to see that once in a while
<v Speaker 1>it can end a match because when you think about it.
<v Speaker 1>There's really not a more harmful shot you can give

<v Speaker 1>going into someone's chin. It should be a knockout shot.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, that's why Sean Michaels used it so effectively
<v Speaker 1>for his twenty year career. I mean, because it was
<v Speaker 1>just a brilliant finish. It should be sacred as a finish.
<v Speaker 1>So it was nice to see that it actually finished
<v Speaker 1>the match. Yeah, and again yeah, why is Dolph Zigler
<v Speaker 1>anointed the guy to be the one to determine whether
<v Speaker 1>or not Jimmy is the right hand mand? I mean,
<v Speaker 1>like and furthermore, why does Jimmy have to prove himself? Like,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, is him not being a part of the
<v Speaker 1>family enough?
<v Speaker 3>Like right?
<v Speaker 1>Like, why why is Jimmy having to qualify himself to
<v Speaker 1>this position? Again, we're picking at things that's otherwise been
<v Speaker 1>a great storyline. So this, this is not rant worthy.
<v Speaker 1>This is nothing more than kind of just a little
<v Speaker 1>bump of the road, which is from otherwise just been
<v Speaker 1>a great, great story and one that I'm still very
<v Speaker 1>heavily invested in. And you know, for the fact that
<v Speaker 1>it's gone this long and this is the first time
<v Speaker 1>I've said anything critiquing the story. It's pretty damn amazing.
<v Speaker 1>And so you know, I'm not you know, I'm not
<v Speaker 1>giving anybody a hard time on this. It's just kind
<v Speaker 1>of you know, when I see things that don't make
<v Speaker 1>sense and point them out right, like this is what
<v Speaker 1>we do. So anything else on this or really anything
