<v Speaker 1>Hey, y'all Scott here, that was cute.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah you like it?
<v Speaker 1>I mean it was cute. Doesn't sound like you liked it.
<v Speaker 1>Welcome on into the Nontendo podcast. My name is Wood
<v Speaker 1>and my co host's name Today sat at the big table.
<v Speaker 2>It was Scott.
<v Speaker 1>I thought maybe he would say it. He is here.
<v Speaker 1>I promise I'm not just playing sound bites of him.
<v Speaker 1>You used to live streaming, man, this is well, you
<v Speaker 1>talk on it. That's the thing. This is live. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>you can still in the same way. It's a normal video.
<v Speaker 1>You can still say words. Well, so the microphone is
<v Speaker 1>all the way here, just saying, you know, this is
<v Speaker 1>the first time that I've tried this non alcoholic beverage here.
<v Speaker 1>It is true. It's what do you think it's? Sully
<v Speaker 1>and I are also here over there off in the
<v Speaker 1>collar were here. We're just we're just observing these two today.
<v Speaker 1>This is interesting. Scott's about to try his first I've
<v Speaker 1>already done it liquid. What did you think it's water?
<v Speaker 2>Scott?
<v Speaker 1>I'm wanted to have you back. Thank you so much
<v Speaker 1>for doing the show again. Thank you gave me an
<v Speaker 1>excuse to go to this location, this undisclosed bunker on
<v Speaker 1>the ground.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I like it.
<v Speaker 1>I like this.
<v Speaker 2>Look what do you think of this?
<v Speaker 1>Look? What do you think of the studio?
<v Speaker 2>Small?
<v Speaker 1>I always thought it looked very nice, but then you
<v Speaker 1>showed me in and I think I said an expletive.
<v Speaker 1>Well okay, Well but he was saying before he came
<v Speaker 1>that he was excited to see it, and I said, before
<v Speaker 1>we get that, I need you to know it's smaller
<v Speaker 1>than it looks on camera. And you still did like
<v Speaker 1>sway when you walked in, You're like, oh god, damn.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's it's a very wee studio.
<v Speaker 1>Look at this, that's very cool.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, you have a PNG?
<v Speaker 1>Or did you just cut that out yourself? I just
<v Speaker 1>YouTube Scott the law was logo PNG. Yeah that's what
<v Speaker 1>I did for you. Yeah. I might. I might be
<v Speaker 1>the only one that owns the official PNG of that.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. Well that's the way that it should be, right,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I don't. It is actually kind of bowler
<v Speaker 1>that I could just google your logo PNG and have
<v Speaker 1>it come up, though, like it's a big brand thing.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think that would work. I don't think it
<v Speaker 1>would work. I can try it right now, I don't
<v Speaker 1>think so. Beat them up's logo PNG, I highly doubt. Well, well, well, yeah, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>you can show my screen if you want, but I
<v Speaker 1>I didn't know. Okay, we're both balling. What do you
<v Speaker 1>want brutal beat them? How does that even like show
<v Speaker 1>up online? Like unless you uploaded it. This is from
<v Speaker 1>epic Desk, which was a sponsor that I did, so.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>So they probably took your logo and here's a three
<v Speaker 1>D version on my logo, which I don't know what
<v Speaker 1>that is. And here's whatever that is. All right, we
<v Speaker 1>don't you're don't have to do all that. All right,
<v Speaker 1>we have Let's do some season desisting today. Let's find
<v Speaker 1>some people that we can sue. You know, it's funny.
<v Speaker 1>We've been hanging out today for a few hours and
<v Speaker 1>I think we've already done the podcast. And I said
<v Speaker 1>that when we were talking, I was like, we need
<v Speaker 1>to shut up. But one of the things we talked
<v Speaker 1>about was a season decison. I know where you were
<v Speaker 1>going with that.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, all right, that.
<v Speaker 1>Can be the first topic. Do you want to get
<v Speaker 1>into that? No? No, all right, So we have a lot,
<v Speaker 1>We have a lot we could talk about. We could
<v Speaker 1>go any direction. So I what I what I really
<v Speaker 1>want to get is your thoughts on Nintender and the
<v Speaker 1>switch and all of that that's happening right now in
<v Speaker 1>the space. But mostly I just want to Mostly I
<v Speaker 1>just want to talk and have a good talk about it.
<v Speaker 1>I need the clips. Yeah, that's what this thing is for,
<v Speaker 1>is for the clips. Everyone speaking of can I show
<v Speaker 1>you a I don't know if you know this, but
<v Speaker 1>we had a viral clip from last time you were
<v Speaker 1>on the show. Oh really did you know? That depends
<v Speaker 1>what what was? It? Was me talking about dead birds? Yes,
<v Speaker 1>how do you know? Did you read this? How do
<v Speaker 1>I know? I've seen it pop up every now and then.
<v Speaker 1>Can we show this? I was talking about the dead birds.
<v Speaker 1>I to this has over. I think it was a
<v Speaker 1>million I'm cool with birds, but like, yeah, no, and
<v Speaker 1>I posted I love this clip I bringing up every
<v Speaker 1>now and then. It's funny because if you go and
<v Speaker 1>watch you we don't have to watch it, right unless
<v Speaker 1>you want to watch it. I mean it's a minute long.
<v Speaker 1>You're talking about scraping dead birds off your driveway. I
<v Speaker 1>don't want to scrape dead birds off my driveway, but
<v Speaker 1>you gotta do it sometimes. That's the beautiful thing about
<v Speaker 1>being a homeowner. That's what you said last time. But
<v Speaker 1>the funny thing is, if you read the comments on this,
<v Speaker 1>almost every comment is like, why would that dude not
<v Speaker 1>let Scott speak? Why will he not let his guests speak?
<v Speaker 1>I don't really think you were.
<v Speaker 2>Well I wasn't.
<v Speaker 1>But also we get to be fair. What was I
<v Speaker 1>really saying? But also the funny thing was we weren't
<v Speaker 1>live yet. This was actually, uh, you were just rambling
<v Speaker 1>before we went live. This is just what you were
<v Speaker 1>rambling about, and we turned it into a TikTok, so
<v Speaker 1>I didn't even know. You just gotta talk, man, You
<v Speaker 1>just gotta you just gotta say. Isn't that what podcasts
<v Speaker 1>are all about, right, You just gotta talk or whatever,
<v Speaker 1>Just gotta talk about what's going on in your life.
<v Speaker 2>To be hones us.
<v Speaker 1>That's what you're best at, is talking. Well, thank you,
<v Speaker 1>I appreciate it. What else is going on in my life?
<v Speaker 2>Let me think?
<v Speaker 1>See, I knew this was going to be the best
<v Speaker 1>kind of mess I did. Yeah, I got I got
<v Speaker 1>some walls painted in the house. I'm colorblind. I don't
<v Speaker 1>even remember. It's like I had an interior designer come
<v Speaker 1>interior designer is like it's like, okay, it was like
<v Speaker 1>the painting people's like person that knows good colors. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>and then they were like oh yeah yeah yeah, like
<v Speaker 1>like the way the way she does it is like
<v Speaker 1>it's like you can feel like there's like this like
<v Speaker 1>weird like like sensation that she's feeling. She's like yeah,
<v Speaker 1>she's like she's okay, so the windows pulls in this
<v Speaker 1>color that's the fun choices.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah yeah, so uh yeah, yeah it's a lot. It's
<v Speaker 2>a lot of tan.
<v Speaker 1>Do you think that's hokey or do you think she
<v Speaker 1>knows what she's doing? What?
<v Speaker 2>Like like but.
<v Speaker 1>She's like like she's like a palm reader or something. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>it kind of sounds like you think she's kind of
<v Speaker 1>just making it up. No, I mean like I mean
<v Speaker 1>for me personally, I can't tell what's going on because
<v Speaker 1>I'm color blind. How how color blind are you? I
<v Speaker 1>mean like, can you see color? Can you see blue? Yeah? Okay,
<v Speaker 1>I'm just making sure that that would be shades certain
<v Speaker 1>shades of blue.
<v Speaker 2>Color blind is like low saturation or like.
<v Speaker 1>No, I think my brain just doesn't really know what
<v Speaker 1>the call certain colors to me. If you if like
<v Speaker 1>that's red, right, it's supposed to be Well, I immediately
<v Speaker 1>kind of see brown. Well my brain also knows like,
<v Speaker 1>well that's got to be red. Like I'm not going
<v Speaker 1>to be going to say something stupid that's brown to
<v Speaker 1>be fed that is very muted red, like if you
<v Speaker 1>that one that wall is brown and they're not that different.
<v Speaker 2>And well look at this and then that this is
<v Speaker 2>a more accurate brown red You mean no, no, I'm talking
<v Speaker 2>about the table.
<v Speaker 1>The table. Yeah, yeah, this makes me feel like moron.
<v Speaker 1>My thing. My thing is like I can see color.
<v Speaker 1>I have problems with identifying which color is which. Sometimes
<v Speaker 1>you will have to excuse me in this episode if
<v Speaker 1>I move on whenever Scott is talking about something the class.
<v Speaker 1>So I don't want to do I don't want to
<v Speaker 1>do what we've been playing, because we're doing an episode
<v Speaker 1>on Friday as well, me and the boys, and we'll
<v Speaker 1>get to it then. And I have a lot I
<v Speaker 1>want to know what you've been playing? What have you
<v Speaker 1>been playing? You know what what is Scott? There was
<v Speaker 1>been playing? And don't google games to find nothing real quick.
<v Speaker 1>I beat Metro Prime four a couple of weeks. Thoughts,
<v Speaker 1>it's it's it's.
<v Speaker 2>Like, yeah, I.
<v Speaker 1>Pm on Scott's dash. I got yeah, video will come
<v Speaker 1>out about that about Metroid Yeah, like a review or
<v Speaker 1>just like it's called for Metroid Prime four to Beyond,
<v Speaker 1>because I had another video from Zelda Weeu to Breath
<v Speaker 1>of the Wildcat, so kind of talking about the whole
<v Speaker 1>journey and then the final thoughts. So I kind of
<v Speaker 1>talked about, uh, just the whole journey to that and
<v Speaker 1>then playing through the whole game. Can you give us
<v Speaker 1>like a little like summer, don't have to ruin your
<v Speaker 1>whole video. But at its peak it's great, Well what's
<v Speaker 1>it's peak? Just like Okay, graphically it looks incredible and
<v Speaker 1>like it's not like graphically the greatest game of all time,
<v Speaker 1>but like for Nintendo perspective and Nintendo and art direction wise,
<v Speaker 1>it's phenomenal.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, your studios always hits it out of the park
<v Speaker 2>with their art direction.
<v Speaker 1>A lot of a lot of elements that people don't
<v Speaker 1>like about it, I think are completely justified, and I
<v Speaker 1>also didn't like a lot of it.
<v Speaker 2>Like the other characters in the game.
<v Speaker 1>They can be a bit much sometimes, but I don't
<v Speaker 1>think they shouldn't like not exist. I'll tell you something funny?
<v Speaker 1>What that that dude looks like me? You know, it's funny.
<v Speaker 1>I just saw I just saw that said that. I
<v Speaker 1>just saw common in the YouTube chat. I said, Miles
<v Speaker 1>McKenzie is in the studio. Was yeah, and he reminds
<v Speaker 1>me of you. And every time I stole him because
<v Speaker 1>he's a door that no yeah, but like and like
<v Speaker 1>the way that's supposed to be endearing. It doesn't work
<v Speaker 1>for him, but it works for you. I like you,
<v Speaker 1>but he he did. He was annoying. But the saving
<v Speaker 1>grace was every time I saw him, I was like, Oh,
<v Speaker 1>Scott the is upgrading my weapon again? Uh? The sarge
<v Speaker 1>guy like that? That was like the most like cliche
<v Speaker 1>like I got five days to retirement kind of thing.
<v Speaker 1>The whole game was cliche. The whole story was cliche,
<v Speaker 1>and like overall a lot of but like like I
<v Speaker 1>think Ice Belt was a great area. I think like
<v Speaker 1>it literally hit a lot of notes for me, like
<v Speaker 1>this is a good Metroid area. But the last the
<v Speaker 1>last like twenty percent of the game is ass yeah
<v Speaker 1>yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, like the final bo the
<v Speaker 1>green Grind I call it, yeah yeah, that's like I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I just I just popped on a podcast and I
<v Speaker 1>just played that and it was like, I overall it
<v Speaker 1>went by kind of quickly for me, but it was
<v Speaker 1>like two three hours of like just nonsense, like backtrack,
<v Speaker 1>Soul Valley is like one of the stupidest things. Is ugly,
<v Speaker 1>like comparatively to the peak you were talking about with
<v Speaker 1>like Fury Green, I spelled, looks great. That what the
<v Speaker 1>desert looked horrible? Yeah, and like even then Soul Valley
<v Speaker 1>is already bad. But then Fury Greens, I think that
<v Speaker 1>that was the first that's also kind of like a dope, dopey,
<v Speaker 1>little hub world kind of thing. You know, That's how
<v Speaker 1>I feel about the whole thing. But yeah, but Fury
<v Speaker 1>Greens was gorgeous though it was the best that gave
<v Speaker 1>me Metro Prime one vibes, and I I did like
<v Speaker 1>it has a lot of good elements, but overall, like
<v Speaker 1>I still enjoyed my time with it, but it's it's
<v Speaker 1>a little too much of like hopfully the next one
<v Speaker 1>is good, but you know, like that's kind of the
<v Speaker 1>feeling I get from it. But I I enjoyed. Do
<v Speaker 1>you think retro we will do another one? They'll do
<v Speaker 1>the next one? Where is it. The company Retro Studio
<v Speaker 1>is Retro Studio. Sorry, I do that all the time,
<v Speaker 1>thank you. Where as another company, yes, they made Manjo,
<v Speaker 1>I apologize. Retro Studios yeah, Retro Studio, Yeah, yeah, they'll
<v Speaker 1>they'll make a second one. I mean they had, they
<v Speaker 1>have everything now right because they had held up. They
<v Speaker 1>had to build up for that kid. They may as well.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think they're going to make another. They're gonna
<v Speaker 1>make a freaking Donkey Kong game. But in addition to that,
<v Speaker 1>I've been playing Final Fantasy seven remake on Switch to Okay,
<v Speaker 1>time playing it, no, but I want to. I didn't
<v Speaker 1>beat it the first time, so I want to beat
<v Speaker 1>it on switch to Great game. I love that game.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, and uh, I started.
<v Speaker 1>Up replaying Luigi's Mansion on game keeb nsl. I'm almost
<v Speaker 1>done with that. And I started up Fire on bloom Pather.
<v Speaker 1>I was going to say, you told me about that earlier.
<v Speaker 1>How's that going? Five hours in goofy, I'm playing that game,
<v Speaker 1>isn't it?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah?
<v Speaker 1>You're not going to finish it?
<v Speaker 2>I feel no, No I will.
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna hold myself to it. You want to be
<v Speaker 1>so far? I don't mind Fire and blowing. There's nothing
<v Speaker 1>wrong with it. I just don't think you will finish it. No,
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna do it, just challenged. Let me that that's
<v Speaker 1>not that's unlike a Nintendo fan. Don't you think playing
<v Speaker 1>five hours of trying, I would not. I'm not saying
<v Speaker 1>you're not trying. I appreciate that you're trying.
<v Speaker 2>Like it's fire.
<v Speaker 1>Them games are are pretty like are pretty satisfying to
<v Speaker 1>play that great game, and like most of them, the
<v Speaker 1>the GameCube one is definitely it has it has very
<v Speaker 1>good production values while also being like kind of like
<v Speaker 1>you know, you can see where the production values are
<v Speaker 1>kind of like like a little lesser because like a
<v Speaker 1>lot of the dialogue in the game is just like
<v Speaker 1>you know, you see the same P and G come up,
<v Speaker 1>same P and G come up, and then like hey talk.
<v Speaker 1>But then like the cut scenes in the game are
<v Speaker 1>like are like pretty like feel really modern, like very
<v Speaker 1>beautiful cell shaded kind of c g I and the
<v Speaker 1>actual maps are like really fun to play through. I
<v Speaker 1>just I want to stick through it because I want to.
<v Speaker 2>I want to.
<v Speaker 1>I want to I want to beat the allegations. Damn it,
<v Speaker 1>damn Firearm game to the end, there's a lot against
<v Speaker 1>you starting there seems like an easy layup. What are
<v Speaker 1>you talking? I think, what are you talking about? An
<v Speaker 1>easy layup? Well, of all the allegations to beat that,
<v Speaker 1>one just seems like that that I'm beating fire like
<v Speaker 1>you can't finish up. I don't like RPGs and strategy
<v Speaker 1>games and anime. No, I'm being goofy. Have you played
<v Speaker 1>Three Houses and or Engage? I haven't played a ton
<v Speaker 1>of Three Houses. I played a lot of Engage. How
<v Speaker 1>much of Three Houses did you play?
<v Speaker 2>Not much?
<v Speaker 1>Like five hours? No?
<v Speaker 2>Okay, I made a bit of it. But you see
<v Speaker 2>where I'm getting.
<v Speaker 1>I started the game. That's about it. But Engage I
<v Speaker 1>played a good amount of Man, that game has some
<v Speaker 1>crap the story, the story staying Engage sucks. That doesn't suck. Well, okay, fine,
<v Speaker 1>I'm too hot. I don't like it. The story is
<v Speaker 1>bad in that game. It's kind of deeming quality. The
<v Speaker 1>gameplay is really good. It's it's like the best fire
<v Speaker 1>Blum gameplay. I mean that's subjective. I really liked Three Houses.
<v Speaker 1>Might not like technically on the battlefield, might not have
<v Speaker 1>had as many like options, but I liked the connection
<v Speaker 1>I had with the characters way more. That made it
<v Speaker 1>a lot more impactful to actually play because the story
<v Speaker 1>was good. Yeah, the story is bad in Fire Blong Engage, Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>but as a Fire Emblem game, as just a game,
<v Speaker 1>you know, like the maps and stuff like, actually, the
<v Speaker 1>strategy gameplay is good in Yeah, And I guess that
<v Speaker 1>is the whole thing, right, that's the whole thing. I
<v Speaker 1>guess that is the whole point. Remember the opening of
<v Speaker 1>Fire and blom Gage just like the most like animated
<v Speaker 1>it's the worst. Yeah, it's the worst.
<v Speaker 2>It's really bad.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>When you go back to like the older Fire Emblum
<v Speaker 1>games on like Path Radiance on GameCube, everything's played a
<v Speaker 1>lot more like it's not like over the top, like
<v Speaker 1>you know, like how Engage is like at least opening
<v Speaker 1>it and like the story is trash.
<v Speaker 2>But I'm just like I didn't want to.
<v Speaker 1>I just started skipping, Like how harsh you being? But
<v Speaker 1>when I said it sucked, you were like, it doesn't suck,
<v Speaker 1>doesn't It's just a good game. It's a good game.
<v Speaker 1>This story is just garbage in that. Yeah, I like
<v Speaker 1>a good story, though, like the most Saturday morning bull crap,
<v Speaker 1>it's so bizarre for me because by the three houses,
<v Speaker 1>that'd such a good story with such rich characters. I
<v Speaker 1>enjoyed the most so much. And then it's just but
<v Speaker 1>you didn't play that one just a few hours, right, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I at least play like an hour of every game
<v Speaker 1>of every game, I mean, name a game man, Mario
<v Speaker 1>Tennis Feva.
<v Speaker 2>Not yet, Oh it's on the back lag which pack.
<v Speaker 1>But you literally told me today that you had a
<v Speaker 1>pac Man alcade in your house. That was a joke.
<v Speaker 1>Oh wait, no, no, the joke. That was a funny
<v Speaker 1>little joke. You know, sometimes I don't know a second there,
<v Speaker 1>you know what was funny.
<v Speaker 2>We went to actually lying whole time.
<v Speaker 1>We went to a game still today, Classic Game Junkie,
<v Speaker 1>and the guy mind to Counta was like, you know,
<v Speaker 1>you remind me of my favorite YouTube and you were like,
<v Speaker 1>Scott the was and he was like yeah, and you're like, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>that's me, and he went you had me going for
<v Speaker 1>a second. It was the hair and You're like, no,
<v Speaker 1>it's it's really me. It's really Scott was like.
<v Speaker 2>Didn't believe you.
<v Speaker 1>It's like, no, you look a lot like him. Though,
<v Speaker 1>there's probably the glasses right now because I change out
<v Speaker 1>my glass and no, it's probably the fact that that's
<v Speaker 1>who you are. It's probably your whole face, it's your
<v Speaker 1>bone structure. I would sayah, I mean yeah, all right,
<v Speaker 1>I think yeah, there's a lot. I think there's a
<v Speaker 1>lot of guys that look like me. Yeah, like the
<v Speaker 1>guy from Metric Prime, full white brown hair, glasses. That
<v Speaker 1>is what it is, especially like white hair, white white
<v Speaker 1>brown hair, guys with glasses. To talk about Nintendo, that's like,
<v Speaker 1>that's like I could probably name about ten of you
<v Speaker 1>right now. Nintendre. There's Nathaniel. Is he weg glasses?
<v Speaker 2>Yes?
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah he does. There's I was thinking, does that
<v Speaker 1>due to wet glasses sometimes? Mm hm, Well there's another
<v Speaker 1>one then?
<v Speaker 2>Is he a brown hair? Small?
<v Speaker 1>A small point crow? That he crow was like a
<v Speaker 1>one full one that's on point crow.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I could cut my hair and stop wearing glasses and
<v Speaker 1>you could. You could throw your hair out your beard.
<v Speaker 1>That ain't happening either, your head glass would. I've been
<v Speaker 1>thinking about it really yeah, but then I would be
<v Speaker 1>like every other Nintendo YouTube.
<v Speaker 2>So maybe what happy don't worry about.
<v Speaker 1>The only reason I've been thinking about it is now
<v Speaker 1>that I have a kid and then he'll grow out
<v Speaker 1>of it. But he's always yanking my hair out, so
<v Speaker 1>I'm always just tying it up anyway. And I'm like,
<v Speaker 1>it would be so much easier if I and then
<v Speaker 1>you can, Hey, you know this is something all guys
<v Speaker 1>worry about. Are you worried about balding at some point? No?
<v Speaker 2>Really?
<v Speaker 1>Well no, because I'm thirty five and I have no
<v Speaker 1>signs of it yet, and I think it skips a generation.
<v Speaker 1>And my dad was bold, so I think I'm good.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, after thirty five, if you're not balding, you've kind
<v Speaker 2>of and honestly, at this point, if it starts happening
<v Speaker 2>like I'm bald, like I had a good.
<v Speaker 1>Run, go to Turkey, Coda Turkey. Honestly, I just I
<v Speaker 1>had a good run. Like I think my dad looked
<v Speaker 1>good bald. I think i'd have the same head. So
<v Speaker 1>what's the age that, like, like you're you're in the clear.
<v Speaker 1>Do you think like for not balding? I mean I
<v Speaker 1>can show you what I would look like.
<v Speaker 2>You get past twenty seven, twenty eight and you're not bald.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, I still got a few years left. I think
<v Speaker 1>I'll be okay. For the most part. I'm gonna shart
<v Speaker 1>high screen here, so I might be good nice. This
<v Speaker 1>is what I would look like bold. It's not that bad.
<v Speaker 1>Whoa Actually, you know what, it's honestly not that bad.
<v Speaker 1>It kind of I think I like it. That guy's tough.
<v Speaker 1>I think that guy looks like he does tattoos.
<v Speaker 2>Again the Midwestern d You ever see the bald subreddit.
<v Speaker 1>Bolder because I'm not five yet, mar slash bohy are
<v Speaker 1>you on the bold sub It's so it is they
<v Speaker 1>embrace you. I have seen the boat sub reddit. It's
<v Speaker 1>so nice. Everybody is, yeah, nice to each other.
<v Speaker 2>If I start balding, I'm gonna go there right away.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. It's a bunch of people that like share pictures
<v Speaker 1>of themselves with like losing their hair, and they like
<v Speaker 1>should I do it? Okay? There's people they're just kind
<v Speaker 1>of like what are they talking about? And then there
<v Speaker 1>are other people that's just like, how did you get this?
<v Speaker 1>There's some people that have they have like a patch
<v Speaker 1>of hair here and that's it, and they're like, should
<v Speaker 1>I do it? Yes?
<v Speaker 2>You have to ask let it go?
<v Speaker 1>And it's always an upgrade for these guys, like when
<v Speaker 1>they shave their head, and they do it before and after,
<v Speaker 1>always an upgrade. Should we should facial hear combo for that?
<v Speaker 1>I feel like you can't just I mean either way.
<v Speaker 1>I mean if facial hair helps, but I think I
<v Speaker 1>think it's not like necessary. Yeah, anybody that's done it
<v Speaker 1>looks way better, okay, because you're better to be bald
<v Speaker 1>than you are to like to have like yeah, points
<v Speaker 1>of hair. This guy took the plunge, so this is
<v Speaker 1>what we're looking at here, and then then look at
<v Speaker 1>that so hot?
<v Speaker 2>What happened?
<v Speaker 1>I looking at us? Like the guy every All the
<v Speaker 1>comments sections also use the same like meme reaction picture.
<v Speaker 1>It's so funny, like it's just like some dude that's
<v Speaker 1>asking like the sun kissed selfie the guy where like
<v Speaker 1>the they have the hand on the show. Yeah, go
<v Speaker 1>to the comments, go to the comments to this two comments. No, No,
<v Speaker 1>it's gonna be that picture. It's gonna be that picture.
<v Speaker 1>This picture down, scroll down, Oh damn it. The hand.
<v Speaker 1>It's like that meme reaction picture where it's like.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I've seen his shoulder.
<v Speaker 1>He's like yeah, like embracing his Does it have to
<v Speaker 1>be one that's like should I do it. Yeah. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>it's always like asking should I do it? And then
<v Speaker 1>it's like a picture that and they're pretty much going like,
<v Speaker 1>come on, dude, it's time. This is this is a
<v Speaker 1>This is to everybody out there that's wondering about taking
<v Speaker 1>the plunge.
<v Speaker 2>I actually crazy.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. I I don't know if I should say this,
<v Speaker 1>but I was messaging my friend dreamcast guy, and he
<v Speaker 1>sent me a selfie and I was like, hey, have
<v Speaker 1>you thought about going bold? And then I sent him
<v Speaker 1>like a like a face app of his head gone,
<v Speaker 1>and I was like, dude, you'd be hot, and he's like,
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna do it. This is what this is reminding me. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I mean like it's it's always a good uh, it's
<v Speaker 1>usually yeah yah yeah this but this one oh wait
<v Speaker 1>wait but yeah, it shows that he did it. Everyone
<v Speaker 1>looks so much better. It's crazy, all right, that one. No, No, okay, okay,
<v Speaker 1>you gotta look for one where somebody is asking the
<v Speaker 1>question because it's going to show the picture. Please give
<v Speaker 1>me your opinion better or worse. Of course, it's better.
<v Speaker 1>It's always bad. Wait this guy, hold on, no, he'll
<v Speaker 1>be better. Well, no, it's yeah, he's better, but he
<v Speaker 1>did his head was Okay, I'm trying to find one
<v Speaker 1>that says like should I that's that's the meme that
<v Speaker 1>we were looking at.
<v Speaker 2>That's the picture that's pretty much in every comment sect.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know, I thought it looks older. Yeah no, no, no,
<v Speaker 2>it is older. I just remembered it differently in my head.
<v Speaker 2>This guy. But there's also guys who when they're when
<v Speaker 2>they start balding, they grow their hair from the back,
<v Speaker 2>the hair from the this and.
<v Speaker 1>The confidence this guy got to like he went from
<v Speaker 1>like on shore about himself to like buff Oh.
<v Speaker 2>This guy.
<v Speaker 1>All right, we gotta get we got we gotta stop.
<v Speaker 1>We gotta talk about bald people. I'm also I've been
<v Speaker 1>replaying Luigi's Mansion on Switch to Nintendo Classics. Yeah, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>you mentioned that.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah?
<v Speaker 1>Is that good? You like that? Yeah?
<v Speaker 2>I like Luigi's Mansion. Have you played like the other two?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah? Yeah? I beat Lui's mentioned two for the first
<v Speaker 1>time on the HD version. Nice. Yeah, that's the worst one.
<v Speaker 1>Do you think it's not? It's not a bad game,
<v Speaker 1>but it's also like it's like it's like, man.
<v Speaker 2>What was it for you? Like the different mansions that No,
<v Speaker 2>the different mansions are fine.
<v Speaker 1>It's kind of just like backtrack and just kind of
<v Speaker 1>like a lot of the stuff that you're doing just
<v Speaker 1>feels like it's just he kind of going through the
<v Speaker 1>same areas over and over the mission structure, which I
<v Speaker 1>understand the mission structure like why they did it, but
<v Speaker 1>it definitely gets it definitely gets very tedious. It's kind
<v Speaker 1>of a tedious feeling game that has a lot of
<v Speaker 1>great elements. I think the we just mentioned two and
<v Speaker 1>three really fleshed the formula out and focus on the
<v Speaker 1>puzzle solving elements to really make Luigi's Mansion feel more
<v Speaker 1>like like a complete game game experience. Because we just
<v Speaker 1>mentioned one wins on Vibes, I agree with you, it's
<v Speaker 1>always the best one for this. But like gameplay wise,
<v Speaker 1>it's kind of you know, you're just kind of going in.
<v Speaker 1>You're going in every room, touching everything, trying to find
<v Speaker 1>like something, and then a ghost appears and then you
<v Speaker 1>figure out, Okay, what's the gimmick to suck this ghost up?
<v Speaker 1>And that's pretty much just the whole game exactly. But
<v Speaker 1>it's still it's a short game, so it doesn't get old.
<v Speaker 1>But like I think two and three have a better,
<v Speaker 1>just just overall like use of the overall mechanic of
<v Speaker 1>like using the vacuum. I agree how three was an
<v Speaker 1>excellent sequel, Like they really stepped it.
<v Speaker 2>Up on three. Three visually was amazing.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, visually, yeah, for sure. Aesthetic wise, I think the
<v Speaker 1>first one has a very special feel that's kind of
<v Speaker 1>like it's the.
<v Speaker 2>Old school man shape, like the nineties vibes or eighties.
<v Speaker 1>And like there's elements that like it's not like it's
<v Speaker 1>a scary game, but it's like you have that kind
<v Speaker 1>of child like, child friendly spookiness that's very special. That's
<v Speaker 1>kind of like even though you're not scared, you get
<v Speaker 1>this sense of like eeriness that's kind of like this
<v Speaker 1>is cool.
<v Speaker 2>As a kid, I would be scared to play that game.
<v Speaker 2>By my Yeah, there's moments.
<v Speaker 1>That are kind of like this this gets this has
<v Speaker 1>a good like creepiness factor, like the like the silhouette
<v Speaker 1>of Mario being hung. Yeah, like Mario now it's it's
<v Speaker 1>Luigi in a segment where you're you're in like it's
<v Speaker 1>during like this power outage in the game, and then
<v Speaker 1>like the lightning strikes and the way the camera is
<v Speaker 1>fixated and the way the shadow goes on the wall,
<v Speaker 1>like it looks like the shadow is like levitating. So
<v Speaker 1>it's just people who are like like Luigi's Oh yeah
<v Speaker 1>it was Luigi.
<v Speaker 2>I found it.
<v Speaker 1>If you want to pull up my screen. The game
<v Speaker 1>rated E or E ten plus. It's pretty it's pretty
<v Speaker 1>scary when you oh my gosh. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>The only annoying thing about Luigi's mansioned one that I
<v Speaker 2>hated was like the fifty boot collection hunt. Oh yeah,
<v Speaker 2>to get the different one to be there.
<v Speaker 1>There's like that segment near the end where there's like
<v Speaker 1>thirty boos in a boss fight.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah they all count.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's just like at that point, like I don't know. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>so that was that game. Speaking of that game and
<v Speaker 1>tying it into now, that game was I feel back
<v Speaker 1>when Nintendo would just trying things out, Like they took
<v Speaker 1>Luigi and they throw them in a mansion and they
<v Speaker 1>made it spooky and they had ghosts. Do you think
<v Speaker 1>Nintendo was lacking that now? Is there anything? I mean,
<v Speaker 1>we had Princess Peach Show Time, which I guess is
<v Speaker 1>kind of a similar idea. They took Peach and they Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I know, it was very kiddy. Do you think that's
<v Speaker 1>something that Nintendo needs to do more of now, like
<v Speaker 1>experimenting with no I think I think they experiment plenty.
<v Speaker 1>I think I think people, you know, you're people just
<v Speaker 1>move on so quickly. Look at Donkey kongk Bonanza. Is
<v Speaker 1>that game, That whole damn game is experimenting. That is true?
<v Speaker 1>You know that game? Did you like that game? What
<v Speaker 1>are we talking about?
<v Speaker 2>It's just like, yeah, I like Donkey Kong Bananza?
<v Speaker 1>Okay, yeah, I didn't know because you liked Metro Primesfall,
<v Speaker 1>so we could really go either direction. It's a different thing.
<v Speaker 1>I said, it's a seven out of ten. There's a
<v Speaker 1>ton of problems with that game. I'm just being silly. Yeah, no, yeah, okay,
<v Speaker 1>what would you what? It was? Bonanza a ten out
<v Speaker 1>of ten for you? Well, like a nine out of
<v Speaker 1>ten or one because the people when I played it.
<v Speaker 1>To be fair though, I mean like I don't really
<v Speaker 1>like replay games immediately or something, you know, like me saying,
<v Speaker 1>oh the game is not that replayable or something.
<v Speaker 2>It's just like I'm not.
<v Speaker 1>I don't care if a game is replayable. I don't care.
<v Speaker 1>For me. It's like experience is great and good the
<v Speaker 1>first time you play it, That's all I care about.
<v Speaker 1>I thought the game was phenomenal first time I played it,
<v Speaker 1>and like, yeah, I I I don't know if I
<v Speaker 1>would call it necessarily like a ten out of ten,
<v Speaker 1>Like I would probably give like a nine out of
<v Speaker 1>ten on Like, you know, I don't think anything is
<v Speaker 1>I don't think any game is perfect. There are games
<v Speaker 1>i'd give ten out of ten, two just comparing them
<v Speaker 1>to games an emotional thing. What's a ten out of
<v Speaker 1>ten for you? I mean, like my favorite game is
<v Speaker 1>Mario Galaxy. But even then, like I look at some
<v Speaker 1>things in that game and I'm just like it kind
<v Speaker 1>of sucks for I feel like that's an inner game. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>So it's just like would you give Galaxy a ten
<v Speaker 1>out of ten? Though? Right now in my critical era,
<v Speaker 1>in my little duib era, Yeah, I mean that's more
<v Speaker 1>of an emotional kind of connection for me.
<v Speaker 2>Not that I'm crying when I'm playing it.
<v Speaker 1>But it's kind of more like, yeah, I love this game,
<v Speaker 1>and like this is this is like my favorite game,
<v Speaker 1>but I you know, there's there's tons of little things
<v Speaker 1>about that game that I'm kind of like, yeah, that's
<v Speaker 1>not great, Like even like like replaying it on switch, Like,
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, the controls are like they're good, but it's
<v Speaker 1>also like Mario feels much more limited in his move set, Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>which makes sense with the game way this game is designed.
<v Speaker 1>And I think that's a very uh. I think that's
<v Speaker 1>something you need to keep in mind, you know, like
<v Speaker 1>even though Odyssey is much more elaborate in terms of
<v Speaker 1>like his move set and like, oh, yeah, you can
<v Speaker 1>get a moon and then you're not. You're not like
<v Speaker 1>kicked out of the level and I have to go
<v Speaker 1>back in. But the way Galaxy is designed, like it's
<v Speaker 1>designed with all that in mind. Yeah, and I'm like
<v Speaker 1>it works for that. That's annoying to get kicked out,
<v Speaker 1>But the way the game works, like every star in
<v Speaker 1>that game is kind of is a little different, you know,
<v Speaker 1>it might change up something about.
<v Speaker 2>The level, Yeah, exactly.
<v Speaker 1>So it's like I don't know, you know, like I
<v Speaker 1>might like that more about Odyssey, but.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>What's a ten out of ten. Even Breath of the
<v Speaker 1>Wild has some crap about it. There's like two enemies
<v Speaker 1>in that game. You didn't liked you, I love you.
<v Speaker 1>It's one of the best games of time. He's just
<v Speaker 1>no there's lots of stuff about that game. I think
<v Speaker 1>the story in Tears of Kingdom is annoying. That was, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I remember there was something about Tears you didn't like.
<v Speaker 1>It's the same thing, oh, the Imprisoning War, the Improving War,
<v Speaker 1>the Imprisoning War. They follow the exact same template and
<v Speaker 1>Breath of the While, and I don't think it works
<v Speaker 1>as well because they give you the memories of like
<v Speaker 1>Zelda in that game, and I don't think that works
<v Speaker 1>as well, and like told out a at a linear
<v Speaker 1>order compared to what they did. Try to do the
<v Speaker 1>same thing again and memory. Well in Breath of the While,
<v Speaker 1>it makes sense for that to be you get those
<v Speaker 1>out of order, because like that's kind of how amnesia works,
<v Speaker 1>like you're counting your memories, you know, And I think
<v Speaker 1>that makes sense for this. I'm just I'm just seeing
<v Speaker 1>like little vignettes of like Zelda doing something, and I'm like, oh, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I think I think Nintendo is very formulate to a fault.
<v Speaker 1>Sometimes they see something that works and then they try
<v Speaker 1>to do it again and the next thing. I think
<v Speaker 1>for me, the recent one is like the new joy
<v Speaker 1>Kunk Colors where they were like, yeah, we did this
<v Speaker 1>last time, so let's do it again. And it's just
<v Speaker 1>a little bit of pink around the edge of a thumbstick.
<v Speaker 1>It's like, well, it doesn't really you can try something different.
<v Speaker 1>It's not that compelling. I'm not buying that, not for
<v Speaker 1>a hundred No, I would rather buy New joy Con
<v Speaker 1>when there's actual like cool, Can I show you my
<v Speaker 1>joy it's kind of a spoiler for a video. Actually,
<v Speaker 1>I was going to take them all. Wow, that's neat. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>they got a little B pad on there. Yeah, I
<v Speaker 1>got a Yeah that clear. I don't know how well
<v Speaker 1>it would come across on camera, but they're translucent. Can
<v Speaker 1>I go through your game library? Yeah? Do it. I
<v Speaker 1>was actually going to bring it up if we had time,
<v Speaker 1>but we don't have to before we get While you're
<v Speaker 1>doing all your images, I was sharing screenshots a resident
<v Speaker 1>able to Twitter today. That game, the resid eight is
<v Speaker 1>gorgeous on this thing. It isn't. You can load it
<v Speaker 1>up if you want. You can play it before while
<v Speaker 1>you do that, before we get too far away, are
<v Speaker 1>you deleting my screen? No?
<v Speaker 2>I just saw you played. Ah, there it is.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, you're played sweet again. Yeah, I do like that game.
<v Speaker 1>Before we get too far away from Mario and Zelda.
<v Speaker 1>I was wondering. I wanted to ask you. We talked
<v Speaker 1>about it already for Mario and the cop but they
<v Speaker 1>didn't hear it. But do you think we're gonna get
<v Speaker 1>Galaxy three next because we talked about that recently? Probably not?
<v Speaker 2>I thought probably.
<v Speaker 1>I thought about it for a second when they had
<v Speaker 1>a bunch of Galaxy stuff they announced along, you know,
<v Speaker 1>movie and the re releases, all for the anniversary. But
<v Speaker 1>h overall, I think my thing is, like, I feel
<v Speaker 1>like the next three D Mario is probably not gonna
<v Speaker 1>be Galaxy because I think what what other Mario game
<v Speaker 1>would they base the third movie off of? Because everybody goes, well,
<v Speaker 1>the next one is gonna be the Odyssey movie, but
<v Speaker 1>they they they're sprinkling in so much Odyssey in like
<v Speaker 1>the Mario YEA one and Mario movie. Yeah. Yeah, Like
<v Speaker 1>the first movie you already had like the whole wedding angle,
<v Speaker 1>like Bowser was like, oh in love with Peach and
<v Speaker 1>they even had like his, uh, his wedding outfit in
<v Speaker 1>that movie. And then you have the second movie with
<v Speaker 1>like toast Arena and the fossil falls and just random
<v Speaker 1>little elements here that like, Okay, so then what would
<v Speaker 1>you make a third like the Mario Odyssey movie. What
<v Speaker 1>would that be if you've done these little things? So
<v Speaker 1>I feel like the third movie if Nintendo wants to
<v Speaker 1>continue this, which I feel like, you know, they'll probably
<v Speaker 1>do the Donkey Kong movie next, and then maybe they
<v Speaker 1>might branch off into like, oh, well, Luigi's Mansion the movie,
<v Speaker 1>and maybe a movie entirely dedicated to Mario Kart and
<v Speaker 1>it's the Mario Kart Movie and it's all about they're
<v Speaker 1>preparing a big race. I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>That would be sick that Nintendo like the yeah, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>like Mario, Yeah, that would actually be pretty sick.
<v Speaker 1>Like they could even though they had like Mario Kart
<v Speaker 1>stuff in the first movie that was more so kind
<v Speaker 1>of just like a little plot element. But I feel
<v Speaker 1>like the the next three D game should probably be
<v Speaker 1>something different, So then they could name the third movie
<v Speaker 1>something because what because I did think about it, like
<v Speaker 1>they're probably doing Galaxy because that is the most distinct next.
<v Speaker 2>Step to take.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, if they did the Mario World movie, how is
<v Speaker 1>that aesthetically going to be any different from the mar
<v Speaker 1>iv Oneah?
<v Speaker 2>I think so too.
<v Speaker 1>You know, you could do the Mario Sunshine movie, but
<v Speaker 1>nobody wants that. Yeah, say Sunshine. People were kind of
<v Speaker 1>considering that could be the third one, but I mean,
<v Speaker 1>Galaxy weird as hell, you jump, you jumping around, and
<v Speaker 1>but they could do it.
<v Speaker 2>That's actually they're going to do that.
<v Speaker 1>The first movie was very much rooted in like the
<v Speaker 1>Mushroom Kingdom, and I think once you go a second
<v Speaker 1>movie in that, like what we want to bring in
<v Speaker 1>more Charak, you want to bring in Rosalino, we want
<v Speaker 1>to bring I think it just makes sense to go
<v Speaker 1>like Space Galaxy. And it's also like kind of a
<v Speaker 1>reason to bring like, oh, Bowser juniors in here, and
<v Speaker 1>he's the villain, knowwn They they're keeping Bowser tiny for
<v Speaker 1>at least a big portion of the movie. And I
<v Speaker 1>think so it's like it makes sense you want to
<v Speaker 1>do even though it's going to follow a lot of
<v Speaker 1>the stuff of the first movie. I think they kind
<v Speaker 1>of want to do like a little different thing, like oh,
<v Speaker 1>it's not just Bowser again, Like this makes sense. But
<v Speaker 1>I think the kids too, I think even if they
<v Speaker 1>haven't played Galaxy, a hood of Galaxy and they're just
<v Speaker 1>a fan of the movie like Little Kids, right, Galaxy
<v Speaker 1>is fun, like it's it's space, it's it's going into
<v Speaker 1>other planets. Like kids love that stuff, kids want to
<v Speaker 1>be an astronaut. So it's just it really makes sense,
<v Speaker 1>I think from a branding aspect, So like if they
<v Speaker 1>would do a third movie, I think I think the
<v Speaker 1>next three D game, it has to be something kind
<v Speaker 1>of new, yeah, because then it's like I think Nintendo
<v Speaker 1>because as much as I was thinking like, Okay, well
<v Speaker 1>they're going to do Galaxy three, because oh, they're doing
<v Speaker 1>all this Galaxy stuff, but Galaxy two was kind of
<v Speaker 1>done because it was in a very special like space,
<v Speaker 1>I guess like, oh, they had leftover ideas from Galaxy one.
<v Speaker 1>So I don't know if a Galaxy three would make
<v Speaker 1>as much sense because like that's why Galaxy two existed,
<v Speaker 1>because they were already well into a Galaxy development and
<v Speaker 1>they had more ideas. So now like what like twenty
<v Speaker 1>twenty years later, Yeah, just you know, make a third
<v Speaker 1>one out, Yeah you could, you know, and I would
<v Speaker 1>accept it. But I'm not necessarily like begging for that.
<v Speaker 1>I think nothing anyone, Yeah people are begging for that. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>it's that or odyssey. I think they probably do something new.
<v Speaker 1>You know, it would be something super Mario Blank, something
<v Speaker 1>completely new, because then you could do the Mario Blank
<v Speaker 1>movie for the third one, do something completely new and
<v Speaker 1>have Galaxy elements in it, like it doesn't have to
<v Speaker 1>be like strictly Galaxy three. And the Olympics also limited.
<v Speaker 2>With the Moon Kingdom.
<v Speaker 1>Was a little bit of everything. Yeah, that's true, but
<v Speaker 1>gall makes sense for the third movie because you know,
<v Speaker 1>like they already have so many Odyssey elements. So I
<v Speaker 1>don't think the next three D Mario is going to
<v Speaker 1>be Galaxy three or or any I think it's gonna
<v Speaker 1>be something completely different, and I don't think it's gonna
<v Speaker 1>be revealed until June. Yeah you said that. I I
<v Speaker 1>his guess is jury general, because remember they revealed Mario
<v Speaker 1>Brothers Wonder in June when that game came out, and
<v Speaker 1>they got too much crap coming out right now. They
<v Speaker 1>got Mario Brothers Wonder plus Bell Bell Belbow literal crap
<v Speaker 1>is what you're saying, and they got the Mario Galaxy movie,
<v Speaker 1>So like, why would they announce that, Why would they
<v Speaker 1>announce it a new three D Mario in March when
<v Speaker 1>they're building up to Mario Brothers, Wonder, Switch to Edition
<v Speaker 1>and Mario Galaxy Movie and the Yoshi the Yo. There's
<v Speaker 1>definitely too much Mario stuff happening. That's okay. So it's
<v Speaker 1>just like, I think that stuff is going to release,
<v Speaker 1>and then in June they're gonna have a direct that's
<v Speaker 1>kind of like what they would usually do for E three.
<v Speaker 2>We're not going to reveal then everyone next movie, Yeah Mario.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, so they got they got to get that stuff
<v Speaker 1>out first. Yeah, and everybody's gonna be like after the movie,
<v Speaker 1>they're gonna be like, oh boy, Mario. Something I didn't
<v Speaker 1>mention last time we talked about this, but I think
<v Speaker 1>we I think we had a little bit of a
<v Speaker 1>taste of what a next Mario game would look like
<v Speaker 1>when we played Bows's Fury. Did you like Bows's Fury? Yes? Okay,
<v Speaker 1>I'm just I know the answer is probably yes.
<v Speaker 2>I guess game. I guess.
<v Speaker 1>I was more asking did you play Bowser's Fury?
<v Speaker 2>Yes?
<v Speaker 1>Okay for like an hour? Oh did you play the
<v Speaker 1>whole game?
<v Speaker 2>You can beat the game in the hour.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, Scott. I'm a Nintendo fan. I don't
<v Speaker 1>play fire Arm Bloom. I don't final care Mario, what's
<v Speaker 1>your favorite Switch game? Oh, Clubhouse game? Yes, exactly. So
<v Speaker 1>I never know what you actually like because your favorite
<v Speaker 1>game is Clubhouse Games fifty one, and it throws me
<v Speaker 1>what switch games are there more than that? There is
<v Speaker 1>fifty one Worldwide Classics, but there's fifty there's fifty two
<v Speaker 1>games in that. You know that. What's the second? What's
<v Speaker 1>the Piano game? I didn't know that you would know
<v Speaker 1>running a freaking podcast about this company. Man, you don't
<v Speaker 1>do anything. The credit is no. In Bows's Fury, I'm
<v Speaker 1>playing around. I know you are, I know I love you.
<v Speaker 1>In Bows's Fury, it was all like open world, and
<v Speaker 1>when you would go to a new area, it would
<v Speaker 1>come up on the screen with like what the area
<v Speaker 1>you were entering was, and then like the unluckables you
<v Speaker 1>could find. And I think that was a little bit.
<v Speaker 1>I mean Nintendo's whole thing, obviously is like they're going
<v Speaker 1>very up in world with things. Look at Metro and
<v Speaker 1>how much fun that was your car world? Are pissed
<v Speaker 1>off about that game right there. And Odyssey was fantastic,
<v Speaker 1>but all of the different worlds and elements they were
<v Speaker 1>connected via a load screen, which was the big hat
<v Speaker 1>I think the next big thing will be like Bows's Fury,
<v Speaker 1>where you can just literally walk to the next part
<v Speaker 1>of the game and it'll just come up and be like,
<v Speaker 1>this is where you are, not necessarily like open world,
<v Speaker 1>maybe open zone, but that's what I think it's going
<v Speaker 1>to be. Like, That's what I hope it's going to
<v Speaker 1>be like, though it'd be pretty cool, it's probably gonna
<v Speaker 1>be another three D world kind of game.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, all right, And then the other.
<v Speaker 1>Thing I was going to ask is Zelda. What do
<v Speaker 1>you think Zelda is gonna go. We're gonna get another
<v Speaker 1>one happy anniversary, We're gonna get all these things. Hey Scott,
<v Speaker 1>what is with all these people going like it Zelda's
<v Speaker 1>fortieth big things? Nothing happens, ever happens. Yeah, yeah, well
<v Speaker 1>we said that last week. We were like, we think
<v Speaker 1>we don't know ourself. Happens the anniversary, but it doesn't
<v Speaker 1>happen in February, like that's when the anniversary is. But
<v Speaker 1>they wait, that's why. But they could have tweeted or something,
<v Speaker 1>they could have said. They even like, they're not gonna
<v Speaker 1>even the Nintendo app didn't have anything. They're gonna wait
<v Speaker 1>until June. June just looking. That's so late. They did
<v Speaker 1>that in E three twenty twenty one. They did Zelda
<v Speaker 1>Anniversary stuff and they announced they announced the Zelda game
<v Speaker 1>and watch and they said that was in June. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>oh okay yeah, and they said you should have is
<v Speaker 1>coming out.
<v Speaker 2>I already talked about this app.
<v Speaker 1>Let's put it lightly too. I don't need I don't
<v Speaker 1>need to have a podcast. I already do it enough.
<v Speaker 1>You know, I'm babbylon about this stuff. Hey, Scott in
<v Speaker 1>the car with you about it?
<v Speaker 2>I know.
<v Speaker 1>And I said the whole time, sh up, because we're
<v Speaker 1>gonna ruin everything. He didn't say, shut up. You were
<v Speaker 1>very nice. I was like, I'll listen to you.
<v Speaker 2>I did.
<v Speaker 1>What do you want to talk about? I had three
<v Speaker 1>coffees today. You almost had four because we went to
<v Speaker 1>two coffee shops together and I told you to get
<v Speaker 1>a decaf and I got a water and you did
<v Speaker 1>get a water. The first coffee shop was better. You
<v Speaker 1>didn't miss anything. Okay, that is it is what it is.
<v Speaker 1>You guys. You you guys are you're not a coffee guy.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not a coffee guy now I'm not. But you'll
<v Speaker 1>mess around with energy drinks because because Solly brings in
<v Speaker 1>the just once a week.
<v Speaker 2>But I'm a coffee guy too. I just didn't have
<v Speaker 2>my coffee today.
<v Speaker 1>What's what's your what's your go to for coffee?
<v Speaker 2>So I have a brevol machine at home? Oh shoot, yeah, fancy,
<v Speaker 2>it's like a nice machine. I just grind my beans
<v Speaker 2>usually get him from Costco okay, medium roads.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. I I I helped created from a cure egg
<v Speaker 1>to an espresso.
<v Speaker 3>Nice.
<v Speaker 2>That's always the first upgrade from a cure because I
<v Speaker 2>did the same thing, went from Kurk to an espressok
<v Speaker 2>is pretty bad. Yeah, you're still using the pods with
<v Speaker 2>an espresso too, right, I am, But you know I
<v Speaker 2>do think.
<v Speaker 1>Here's a text from augt eighty five. All right, all right,
<v Speaker 1>the mic tell me to get closer to uh whatever?
<v Speaker 1>All right, yeah yeah, but yeah, yeah it's good.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I do that every morning, and I get what put
<v Speaker 1>I I put I. I switched over to uh no
<v Speaker 1>sugar creamer nice because the sugar was making me. I'm
<v Speaker 1>getting older, so I'm definitely feeling kind of like some elements. Sorry,
<v Speaker 1>of uh, it's okay.
<v Speaker 2>You continue to playing try honey with your coffee.
<v Speaker 1>Really it is actually I like to get it in
<v Speaker 1>an ice loatte. A little bit of honey whipped in
<v Speaker 1>the honey is a good uh I hear, honey is
<v Speaker 1>good for you. It's good for your especially if you're
<v Speaker 1>talking a lot.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, all right, I'm just saying subtle Scott, are you
<v Speaker 1>sick of talking about Nintendo like in general, like in
<v Speaker 1>your life and your career? No, I'm I just I
<v Speaker 1>kind of just want to make sure that I'm not
<v Speaker 1>really like saying the same things over and over and over.
<v Speaker 1>That makes sense, that's kind of my is something that's
<v Speaker 1>at least like kind of the direction I want to
<v Speaker 1>go forward is like I'm like, I've talked about a
<v Speaker 1>lot of this over and over and over again, so
<v Speaker 1>I just want to you know, Okay, we'll approach things
<v Speaker 1>in a different like what kind of stuff have you
<v Speaker 1>not had a chance to talk about yet?
<v Speaker 2>I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I asked me a question. Well, I've been asking you
<v Speaker 1>questions and I can't tell if you like him? No, no, no, no,
<v Speaker 1>I mean like listen, Like usually in these kind of
<v Speaker 1>things when I'm unscripted, I do like to get a
<v Speaker 1>little bit of a tude for the character, for the
<v Speaker 1>character everything that's happened so far, I just want to
<v Speaker 1>make sure you know that I'm not you know, I'm
<v Speaker 1>not actually annoyed at anything. I don't think. So there
<v Speaker 1>was a time I went to the switch to launch
<v Speaker 1>in New York and then it's a guy that it
<v Speaker 1>was a similar thing. It was like the same bit
<v Speaker 1>here where he wanted he he had like a cappy
<v Speaker 1>hat for Mario Wattissey. He wanted to do like something
<v Speaker 1>of like where he'd throw the hat at me and
<v Speaker 1>I'd catch it, and and he was like, okay, so
<v Speaker 1>I got cappy you know Mario Watissey right, And I went, no,
<v Speaker 1>I don't. And then I can't imagine you doing that
<v Speaker 1>to someone. I did and then and then he like
<v Speaker 1>threw it at me and and I didn't catch it.
<v Speaker 1>I was like, oh man, you threw that r out
<v Speaker 1>of my face. And he was like, I am so sorry,
<v Speaker 1>and he like put his head down. He walked away,
<v Speaker 1>and I had to tell him. I'm like, dude, I'm
<v Speaker 1>like I'm being sarcastic, like it's totally fine, don't worry.
<v Speaker 2>So I do want to make sure you do.
<v Speaker 1>Great with the fans every too many games here that
<v Speaker 1>your line is do they cut your line at some point?
<v Speaker 1>They just keep it going. That was that you have.
<v Speaker 1>That was the slightest sue I've had throughout the years
<v Speaker 1>of like they didn't really have enough people there to
<v Speaker 1>like kind of like manage the line. Yeah, so and
<v Speaker 1>like they they took care of it now now that
<v Speaker 1>we're going this year. But yeah, it was always kind
<v Speaker 1>of like an it was a slightly unkept line, and uh,
<v Speaker 1>you know, people kept on coming in and there's a
<v Speaker 1>lot of people that were like repeat visitors. They'd keep
<v Speaker 1>on like coming back and stuff. But you do great
<v Speaker 1>with them. Like you spend like ten minutes with like
<v Speaker 1>every single person that comes up to see you, and
<v Speaker 1>you really make them feel seen. I like talking to people.
<v Speaker 1>I want to make sure that if you're gonna wait
<v Speaker 1>in line, I want to give you at least like
<v Speaker 1>kind of a conversation at least you do, I like,
<v Speaker 1>at least like a thirty second conversation at the very least.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I've been to a bunch of cons and
<v Speaker 1>I don't think I've seen anybody approach their fans and
<v Speaker 1>that following the way that you do, Like you give
<v Speaker 1>every person so much time and attention. Even today when
<v Speaker 1>we went to the toy the game store, you spend
<v Speaker 1>like twenty minutes talking to that guy.
<v Speaker 2>It wasn't that long.
<v Speaker 1>It wasn't a lot, dude. I went in like five minute.
<v Speaker 1>It was a minute, and it was good. Like you
<v Speaker 1>like had a conversation with this guy. You made him
<v Speaker 1>feel seen like you. You would about his interest.
<v Speaker 2>We would talk about.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe he was going like, God, this guy's an hand.
<v Speaker 1>This guy was shut up. I'm trying to get away
<v Speaker 1>now you're talking to him about Matt And I had
<v Speaker 1>to go take a toilet break because you know, I
<v Speaker 1>just to walk away for a second. We're all people.
<v Speaker 1>It's just I don't know, it's it's how long is
<v Speaker 1>the longest you've been like in a meet and greet line? Uh?
<v Speaker 2>Probably like four hours? Yeah or so.
<v Speaker 1>That's People don't realize how intense that is. No breaks,
<v Speaker 1>no toilet probably signing a bunch of stuff and just
<v Speaker 1>talking to people. How mad. One guy came with like
<v Speaker 1>a stack of a real crappy WE game and he
<v Speaker 1>was like, can you sign every single one of them?
<v Speaker 1>And I was like, I'm so sorry. We can do one.
<v Speaker 1>I think we did Space chimps. I was like, I'll
<v Speaker 1>do space chimps. But that's it. That's all I'm doing.
<v Speaker 1>How often do you get recognized when you because I mean,
<v Speaker 1>it happened the day instantly, that dude, it happened today,
<v Speaker 1>and still white guy. They clarify that it was actually
<v Speaker 1>you and not another white guy. You know, you got them.
<v Speaker 1>It's it's you know, every now and then you like it. It's fine.
<v Speaker 1>I don't really care, Like it's like, okay, you know,
<v Speaker 1>that's cool. There's like elements where it's like if you
<v Speaker 1>go out to like a place where like somebody you
<v Speaker 1>kind of can realize they recognize you. That's kind of
<v Speaker 1>like a little bit of a you know, an awkward
<v Speaker 1>thing if like they don't want to say yeah, you
<v Speaker 1>can kind of like yeah, giving you you like the
<v Speaker 1>side they just look They keep on looking at it,
<v Speaker 1>like looking at their phone, like yeah. They keep on
<v Speaker 1>looking down, looking up, looking down, looking up. I had one.
<v Speaker 1>This was fun. I don't and no no issues with it.
<v Speaker 1>But I was standing at a register getting coffee and
<v Speaker 1>as I was standing there wondering, someone actually walked between
<v Speaker 1>me and and they did like this thing yeah, and
<v Speaker 1>then they suckled back around and then when I turned around,
<v Speaker 1>they were like, what I reckon? I show like that's
<v Speaker 1>an intense like drive by, it's all I'm ordering. It's
<v Speaker 1>a very it's a very Uh, it's a very cool thing.
<v Speaker 2>It is cool.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I think cool. Yeah, that's the thing I think.
<v Speaker 1>I think a lot of YouTubers need to need to
<v Speaker 1>just like you know what, we we live, We we
<v Speaker 1>are very We are the luckiest people in the world,
<v Speaker 1>I would say, cause it's just like you get to
<v Speaker 1>and like, I think we have control over what we do.
<v Speaker 1>I was telling you that, like, uh, you know something
<v Speaker 1>that I think a lot of YouTubers should know because
<v Speaker 1>I see so many like like they're so like doom
<v Speaker 1>and gloom about everything kind of just like life sucks,
<v Speaker 1>Like I can't do what I really want. I gotta
<v Speaker 1>keep putting out this crap and I can't do what
<v Speaker 1>I really want. It's kind of like, no, you can,
<v Speaker 1>but you really got you gotta go for it, you
<v Speaker 1>gotta try, you gotta. I mean I said that in
<v Speaker 1>the car to you. I was like, my video put
<v Speaker 1>out yesterday, I think it's one of my favorite videos
<v Speaker 1>I've done. And I said to you I wish I
<v Speaker 1>could just do those every time, and you are like
<v Speaker 1>you can't, Like well a response to it. It just it
<v Speaker 1>took a lot, Like it took me were working on
<v Speaker 1>that for like three weeks and then and then you
<v Speaker 1>were like, yeah, yeah you could do it. Nothing stop
<v Speaker 1>in you. It's just like every pretty much every YouTuber
<v Speaker 1>problem is like completely self imposed. And that's that it
<v Speaker 1>makes sense why, like you got to run things, and
<v Speaker 1>it's just like you know, anybody that you know runs
<v Speaker 1>stuff on their own, like, yeah, you got you gotta
<v Speaker 1>have boundaries and restrictions that you put on yourself. A
<v Speaker 1>lot of it comes down to like, no, this is
<v Speaker 1>my thing that I'm making, and like I need it
<v Speaker 1>to be this way.
<v Speaker 2>You know.
<v Speaker 1>And when when you get lucy goosey with things and
<v Speaker 1>you just allow whatever to happen, you know, it ceases
<v Speaker 1>to become your thing. But do you think at the
<v Speaker 1>same time, you know you can if you don't like
<v Speaker 1>what you're doing, you can change it. If you don't
<v Speaker 1>like how things are going, try something new. Yeah, do
<v Speaker 1>you do you think right now if you didn't have
<v Speaker 1>everything that you have and you wanted to start now,
<v Speaker 1>you could do it again, not having any of the
<v Speaker 1>previous knowledge of how successful you became. Uh. Yeah, I
<v Speaker 1>mean it it comes down to like if if you
<v Speaker 1>make stuff that people like, they'll like and you and
<v Speaker 1>you're consistent with it, uh people will find you. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>The problem is a lot of people are putting out
<v Speaker 1>like AI craft or like just the same old stuff
<v Speaker 1>that like it's just not that Like, uh, I see
<v Speaker 1>a lot of people putting out videos and they're like, Hi,
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna do a review on uh luisis mentioned two
<v Speaker 1>HD And they've shot up their phone and it falls
<v Speaker 1>down multiple times, and you know, they just hold it
<v Speaker 1>in front of the camera and they're like it's a
<v Speaker 1>it's a pretty good game, yeah, sentence review or something. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>And then then and then they'll message you and ask
<v Speaker 1>why the video is not doing well?
<v Speaker 2>I'm trying.
<v Speaker 1>It's so hard, man. Yeah. I feel like even if
<v Speaker 1>you get a lot of your element, you got to
<v Speaker 1>just do it. You got you gotta do it. And
<v Speaker 1>those people are doing it, so so praise them. But
<v Speaker 1>at the same time, like what do you want to
<v Speaker 1>do do you just want to be a TikToker? You
<v Speaker 1>just want to like talk in front of like a
<v Speaker 1>vertical phone and just like people like you, is that
<v Speaker 1>what you want to do? Or do you want to
<v Speaker 1>make something? Do you want to like create a scripted thing?
<v Speaker 1>Do you want to create an do you want to
<v Speaker 1>you know? And like I think a lot of people
<v Speaker 1>just want to That's a great clarification because I feel
<v Speaker 1>like what a lot of people, especially kids nowadays, they think,
<v Speaker 1>I want to be famous, I want to be TikTok,
<v Speaker 1>I want to be Instagram doing it for their own reason,
<v Speaker 1>and then you can you can't do it because you
<v Speaker 1>want to get famous or rich or any of that
<v Speaker 1>nons And you see them trying all these trends and
<v Speaker 1>trying to be like this, that and the other and
<v Speaker 1>bouncing between things. But it's like, what do you actually
<v Speaker 1>want to do? Like what is it you want to
<v Speaker 1>talk about? What do you care? Like some type of yeah, nice,
<v Speaker 1>build it and they'll come type mentality. I think people
<v Speaker 1>that that did it for for fame or money or
<v Speaker 1>something like uh, even if they get big, they're usually
<v Speaker 1>the ones that U that end up getting into trouble
<v Speaker 1>or something like they have stuff crumbled down or whatever.
<v Speaker 1>I think it's like, at least for me because I've
<v Speaker 1>been doing YouTube now, at least like on my own
<v Speaker 1>for almost ten years now, and I think it's something
<v Speaker 1>that's like even more gratifying by like a slow type
<v Speaker 1>of increase, because if it's like, let's say, you know,
<v Speaker 1>you blow up overnight, you know, someone who may not
<v Speaker 1>have known how to handle fame, especially if they're young
<v Speaker 1>or they're like some kind of like becoming an adult,
<v Speaker 1>they might not know what to do. They might not
<v Speaker 1>know what avenues to go after. They might just like
<v Speaker 1>be known for one thing and then it stops working
<v Speaker 1>and then they're like, oh crap, now I have nothing
<v Speaker 1>for sure. Yeah, I think I think part of the
<v Speaker 1>fun of YouTube is is just doing it and the
<v Speaker 1>journey of like learning new skills and like bettering your
<v Speaker 1>production and bettering your quality and just learning more about
<v Speaker 1>yourself as a creator and as like you know, whether
<v Speaker 1>you're you know, producing something or like it's unscripted, the
<v Speaker 1>way you talk unscripted, the way you you like write stuff,
<v Speaker 1>the way you edit stuff, the way things like appear,
<v Speaker 1>like the way your graphic design works, the way you're
<v Speaker 1>putting stuff together.
<v Speaker 2>Like that's just part.
<v Speaker 1>Of a like how everything works, and like I think
<v Speaker 1>that's why I love the medium of YouTube. I think
<v Speaker 1>that's my favorite thing about it. How do you feel
<v Speaker 1>about I've already talked about this. How do you what
<v Speaker 1>I'm about to ask you. I know the answer. It's
<v Speaker 1>gonna be like you're gonna go, like, what do you
<v Speaker 1>think about? I don't know. How do you feel about
<v Speaker 1>people that get success on a platform like YouTube and
<v Speaker 1>then get bored and try to pivot into something else?
<v Speaker 1>You could, yeah, if you want to. I mean like
<v Speaker 1>you could try. I told you that, like, if I
<v Speaker 1>really wanted to do something else, it would probably be
<v Speaker 1>like it would be an addition to what I'm already doing. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>because it's just like, you know, what I'm already doing works,
<v Speaker 1>and I like doing it. I don't think I'm ever
<v Speaker 1>gonna dislike doing it. But it's kind of like, you know,
<v Speaker 1>if I want to try something new, they don't try
<v Speaker 1>something new. I always just found it so interesting that, like,
<v Speaker 1>as a content creator, as someone in a space where
<v Speaker 1>you've gotten like popular or you know, successful, doing something,
<v Speaker 1>I feel like grass always looks greener on the other side,
<v Speaker 1>because you get so bored or sick of what you're doing.
<v Speaker 1>I guess if you don't love it, that you start
<v Speaker 1>trying to think of like other things that you could do,
<v Speaker 1>and then you try doing that, you get too far
<v Speaker 1>away from what made you popular in the first place,
<v Speaker 1>and you're like, actually, that was pretty good, and why
<v Speaker 1>did I Why did I let that go? I think
<v Speaker 1>a lot of people might fear for you. You know,
<v Speaker 1>that you'll get so populous, so big so Scott, there
<v Speaker 1>was that you'll go off and become a movie director
<v Speaker 1>and you'll stop doing your videos. Yeah, I didn't think so.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, like, you know, if I direct a movie
<v Speaker 2>that's fun, you could always still do Like look at
<v Speaker 2>market Plier. He's a good example of YouTube and then
<v Speaker 2>he made his own movie. Start in the movie, you
<v Speaker 2>know he's still doing it for the love of the game.
<v Speaker 2>He doesn't need to do it. You watch, No, I didn't,
<v Speaker 2>but I.
<v Speaker 1>Only want to watch something with Marketplayer. And if he's
<v Speaker 1>in the top top left corner. I saw someone like
<v Speaker 1>has like classes and like they put it, they printed
<v Speaker 1>like a mini It looked like he in the top.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's funny.
<v Speaker 1>That great. Now I'm done to watch. That's a very
<v Speaker 1>cool thing. Yeah that happened, especially that he did it
<v Speaker 1>like completely independently. I I think I'm somebody that like
<v Speaker 1>I don't really want to take a risk work. It's
<v Speaker 1>all on like that, like yeah, like I recently started
<v Speaker 1>to do like all of our merch in house, and
<v Speaker 1>I'm kind of going like, like we can order the inventory.
<v Speaker 2>That's fine.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not going to order inventory if that means like,
<v Speaker 1>oh uh oh, we're gonna risk it all on this
<v Speaker 1>merch order here and hopefully it does well. And if
<v Speaker 1>it doesn't, oh crap, I lost all this mind. Like No,
<v Speaker 1>it's just like okay, if I have the money, then
<v Speaker 1>we're gonna buy it and then it's not a big problem.
<v Speaker 1>If it doesn't sell something much, we'll sell You'll be
<v Speaker 1>all right. We got we got a big old room
<v Speaker 1>full of you had Monopoly. Yeah, yeah, you're good with much.
<v Speaker 2>That was fun.
<v Speaker 1>That was but you know, like, yeah, can I have one? No?
<v Speaker 1>I only got like twenty less edition. Yeah, only one clue?
<v Speaker 1>Do you want to buy it? And I'll give to
<v Speaker 1>the charity that it was back from five years ago? Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I mean it's still is it still a charity? Yeah?
<v Speaker 2>But no, the I can give you a clue you want.
<v Speaker 2>I got a lot of clues.
<v Speaker 1>I'll take a clue. I'll trade you a beat them
<v Speaker 1>up you tubes. Aw cool, I'll give you I'll beat
<v Speaker 1>them up you tubes for a Scott the washing. I'll
<v Speaker 1>give you a beat up satisfied grip or really yeah,
<v Speaker 1>and I see that? Yeah you can.
<v Speaker 2>This is like your little colors.
<v Speaker 1>Huh yeah, it's my little colors. A little bit of
<v Speaker 1>in there with the blue. That's not my blo it's not.
<v Speaker 1>It's like blue fun one. How does it feel? How's
<v Speaker 1>it fell on your hands? I like the satisfied grips
<v Speaker 1>I have, Like I have a couple of them things.
<v Speaker 1>I'll take that in my next Okay, all right, that it.
<v Speaker 1>I'm kidding. We're done.
<v Speaker 2>No, I'm kidding.
<v Speaker 1>Sally, do you want to play? You have a game
<v Speaker 1>for Scott?
<v Speaker 2>I do.
<v Speaker 1>It's just a little trivia. Wait, let me do this.
<v Speaker 2>There we go.
<v Speaker 1>Interesting. Wow do you think of those animations? They are animated.
<v Speaker 1>I saw a move response. I know. They're fun. That's
<v Speaker 1>that's all we need.
<v Speaker 2>They're fun.
<v Speaker 1>Every episode Sully gives me a game, and this week
<v Speaker 1>he's got one for you. Apparently I've watched I watched
<v Speaker 1>the show. Yeah, so this is just a little trivia.
<v Speaker 2>We got like, you know some questions trivia right, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>trivia yeph crap, all right, you're Scott the Wise, you
<v Speaker 2>should know most of these.
<v Speaker 1>Do you want to do you want to questions about
<v Speaker 1>my life? There?
<v Speaker 2>Do you ask me?
<v Speaker 1>Or do you want to solo it? I converse?
<v Speaker 2>You know, yeah, let's do let's do it verse. But
<v Speaker 2>then there has to be a way where he's gonna win. Well,
<v Speaker 2>I mean, if you know the answer, somebody has to like,
<v Speaker 2>you know, like we don't have like a little dinger buzzer.
<v Speaker 2>Uh use the alarm. I got the alamo. I've been
<v Speaker 2>using this. It doesn't make a noise. Really does it
<v Speaker 2>get you up in the morning?
<v Speaker 1>It doesn't work well, what do you mean it doesn't
<v Speaker 1>detect me very well, Well, it keeps going as I
<v Speaker 1>get out of the bed. But it has helped to
<v Speaker 1>just have an alarm clock. So so I turned off
<v Speaker 1>all the emotion stuff and I use it as just
<v Speaker 1>an alarm. Yeah, that's how I use it. But it
<v Speaker 1>does it does get me up, and I do like
<v Speaker 1>loud when you crank it. I do really like how
<v Speaker 1>it slowly kind of fades in because like as I
<v Speaker 1>wake up, because the way the iPhone. The iPhone alarm
<v Speaker 1>is like the most terrifying sound of all time, I know,
<v Speaker 1>but nobody does.
<v Speaker 2>Do you know what he does?
<v Speaker 1>Do you know the og alarm that's like bomb like that.
<v Speaker 1>It's the stock alarm sound. And the problem is movies
<v Speaker 1>use that sound effect. So in like if I'm watching
<v Speaker 1>a movie and they have an alarm sound go off
<v Speaker 1>and it's the same as the IPT alarm.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, it gives me PTSD crap. Yeah, it's just this
<v Speaker 3>bad like some nice subtle ones, I have to switch off.
<v Speaker 3>But sometimes I hate when you set the alarm and
<v Speaker 3>then you your phone is like low volume, it just
<v Speaker 3>doesn't ring.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's a big problem. So like I I just
<v Speaker 1>leave my ringer on like overnight, but then if somebody
<v Speaker 1>calls me in the middle of the night, yeah, it's
<v Speaker 1>like a scam call or something.
<v Speaker 2>It's like god, scam callers.
<v Speaker 1>When you when you were younger, did you ever try
<v Speaker 1>and making your your alarm tone like one of your
<v Speaker 1>favorite songs something? You know what I did? I I
<v Speaker 1>did these act opposite. I I had a like an
<v Speaker 1>FM radio alarm or something, and I would just turn
<v Speaker 1>into a station that was nothing but static and I
<v Speaker 1>would frank it up to one hundred. So then when
<v Speaker 1>that's got you the way that you are, well, then
<v Speaker 1>I put the alarm across the room, so then it
<v Speaker 1>would just turn on and like it would just be
<v Speaker 1>the worst gargled sound like just going off. So then
<v Speaker 1>there's no way I can just stay in bed and
<v Speaker 1>be like, oh, just let this go off. Yeah, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>it works all right? What's this game? Have we got?
<v Speaker 2>All right?
<v Speaker 1>So this is a verses right between you guys. I
<v Speaker 1>guess he's gonna win. I've seen you play trivia. You
<v Speaker 1>too good at it.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, who knows what trivia this be?
<v Speaker 1>You can play?
<v Speaker 2>This could be trivia docks and you.
<v Speaker 1>You've played every game. You played every game for at
<v Speaker 1>least an hour. You played five Fire Emblem Radiance. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>Path of Radiance and see that's I see. I know
<v Speaker 1>this game. I knew its title. Yeah, well you played
<v Speaker 1>right there, all right.
<v Speaker 2>So the first question is going to be what Pokemon
<v Speaker 2>was originally planned to be the series mascot instead of Pikachu.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, I actually know this one. Wait, I've heard this before,
<v Speaker 1>but uh, I think I know it. I'm gonna type it.
<v Speaker 1>Don't You're going to google it. I'm not you know,
<v Speaker 1>I know it, but I legit think I know. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>my first guest would be EV. But I don't even know.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, okay, it's not.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know why I knew that.
<v Speaker 2>I just did.
<v Speaker 1>I just know because it's like so random. Yeah, it's
<v Speaker 1>just like white Cliff Airy. They just thought it would
<v Speaker 1>be like a Kobe type situation, I guess.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, Next question, what was the first Mario game to
<v Speaker 2>feature Charles Martinette's voice voicing Mario in a in a
<v Speaker 2>released product? I know that one, at least product that's
<v Speaker 2>not by Nintendo.
<v Speaker 1>I was gonna say, I think it's like Mario numbers
<v Speaker 1>on Mario typing or something random like that.
<v Speaker 2>M Mario's game gallery, Mario's Game Gallery.
<v Speaker 1>One and one.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, so next and neck there's a total so cool. Yeah, alright,
<v Speaker 2>this one specifically for Scott. He should know this. What
<v Speaker 2>was the code name Steam of the Nintendo?
<v Speaker 1>Will you you know that one? Uh? I actually was
<v Speaker 1>hold it somewhat recently.
<v Speaker 2>I'll give you a hint.
<v Speaker 1>I think I I think I might kind of you
<v Speaker 1>went to you went to one of these places cafe yeah,
<v Speaker 1>cafe yeah. Project that was the name. That's what I
<v Speaker 1>was gonna say, Cafe, Project Cafe. There were some rumors
<v Speaker 1>going around that its name was Project Butterfly for.
<v Speaker 2>A little bit.
<v Speaker 1>Well that's back in the day. No, this was back
<v Speaker 1>in like twenty eleven. They were like, oh yeah, Project
<v Speaker 1>Cafe like that to like this switch being NX, Like
<v Speaker 1>Cube was.
<v Speaker 2>Dolphin remember that, And then we was like cro or
<v Speaker 2>something or.
<v Speaker 1>We was Revolution, right, I don't know, but those an
<v Speaker 1>Xbox that was Scarlet, Yeah, I Project Scarlett yeah, and
<v Speaker 1>then Xbox one X was Project Scorpio.
<v Speaker 2>I think.
<v Speaker 1>That would have been a way. And they're not making
<v Speaker 1>any more Xboxes. Maybe people were people get so attached
<v Speaker 1>to some project names. They're they're like I got used
<v Speaker 1>to saying like NX for yeah, people like they should
<v Speaker 1>just call it that. I don't trust any of these
<v Speaker 1>freaks that say they want they want a Nintendo console
<v Speaker 1>just called Nintendo Nintendo. They say like like, oh, I
<v Speaker 1>have a Nintendo yeah there. Well, they they're the people
<v Speaker 1>that are like, the WIU is a bad name. What
<v Speaker 1>you want the next thing to just be called Nintendo?
<v Speaker 1>The Nintendo Nintendo?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's stupid. Well, so let's take it further Scott,
<v Speaker 2>do you know what the the CPU was code named
<v Speaker 2>in the U and the wi U. Oh, I don't know. Oh,
<v Speaker 2>it's similar to the code name. It's related to the coffee. No,
<v Speaker 2>I think Actually it's espresso, isn't it. Oh that's actually
<v Speaker 2>that's cool because it's like fast even further. Uh wait,
<v Speaker 2>hold up, hold up? And then the code name of
<v Speaker 2>the GPU. Oh, bro, this is so this is ball
<v Speaker 2>you Scott got two for three. Yeah, that's pretty good.
<v Speaker 2>I don't good. I don't know the GPU.
<v Speaker 1>If you give me a slight hint like you did before.
<v Speaker 2>Coffee, it's related to the the what to the you know,
<v Speaker 2>the coffee, the espresso? Yeah, beans, latte? All right, Well, anyways,
<v Speaker 2>you got the question, right, Scott. That was it was
<v Speaker 2>only one question. I wanted just to add the extra
<v Speaker 2>ones out of the gotcha. Okay, So the next question
<v Speaker 2>is what are the bats called in Majora's mask?
<v Speaker 1>Crap, Bro, I don't I don't even know that. No, no, no, no,
<v Speaker 1>no flappies no, no, no keys no. But but they're like
<v Speaker 1>they're called keys in uh.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah and games.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I got I got nothing with major Mask. Bro.
<v Speaker 1>When I was a kid, I didn't know the names
<v Speaker 1>of the enemies I was killing. I just killed them.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean everybody would guess back, that's why. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>let's go fast. That's a truck. Question their bats, they're
<v Speaker 2>called bats, more specifically bad bats, but bats. I was
<v Speaker 2>going to give thee He gets that. They get it out.
<v Speaker 2>Scott got it all right. Question what was or when
<v Speaker 2>was the Akarna first featured in his Elda game?
<v Speaker 1>This is also a trick question. Yeah, I think I
<v Speaker 1>think it Wasn't it in link to the past? Wasn't
<v Speaker 1>in link to the past?
<v Speaker 2>See a link to the past. That's the that's the
<v Speaker 2>That's where I get you, because it's in linked to
<v Speaker 2>the past. There is an akarina, but it's called the flu.
<v Speaker 1>Oh Jesus Christ. So it is a karina a time?
<v Speaker 2>No, it's not a time.
<v Speaker 1>Well then I'll well, then I would just what was
<v Speaker 1>in between linked in links awakening?
<v Speaker 2>Links awaken?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah? I saw being like yeah there, But like.
<v Speaker 2>For Scott's I knew he was gonna get these questions right.
<v Speaker 2>All right, This one might be a tough one. What
<v Speaker 2>was the original title of Yoshi before he was officially
<v Speaker 2>named Yoshi?
<v Speaker 1>Well, I know his full title is like the Yoshisaurus.
<v Speaker 1>Isn't it isn't it?
<v Speaker 2>She okay, well Scott answered it.
<v Speaker 1>Oh that was it though, Wait what was it?
<v Speaker 2>What did you Yosha Yoshi sores munch of koopash.
<v Speaker 1>I thought that was just his legal name. The Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>but is Yoshi a girl? I thought Yoshi was a girl.
<v Speaker 2>I thought that was burto She's a guy.
<v Speaker 1>It's just kind of funny that Yoshi can lay eggs,
<v Speaker 1>you know. That's that's why I'm getting confused, the whole
<v Speaker 1>egg thing. Yeah, the egg thing, you know, well that
<v Speaker 1>has to be go Yoshi's no, No, they self produce.
<v Speaker 1>I think it's like toads. Well, toads are eggs, so
<v Speaker 1>that's not I think toads are technically genderless. Yeah, but
<v Speaker 1>then Todet is like, well, doesn't toads or doesn't become
<v Speaker 1>like the hot one, she becomes like the hot peach things.
<v Speaker 2>Like the Yeah, but well she's not Cannon too, Nintendo
<v Speaker 2>Universe Pichet, you know.
<v Speaker 1>Who are you asking? You know, no, Peachet is still
<v Speaker 1>just toad at right. It's like Todet takes the form
<v Speaker 1>of a peach like creature. Yes, yeah, I don't think
<v Speaker 1>you don't think about too much? Yeah, all right?
<v Speaker 2>Next up, what was the first Mario game to be
<v Speaker 2>developed by a company other than Nintendo?
<v Speaker 1>Other than Nintendo? Are we talking spin offs here?
<v Speaker 2>Yep?
<v Speaker 1>How deep are we getting here? Because I think technically
<v Speaker 1>there's probably something by like Intelligence Systems. It's probably one
<v Speaker 1>of like the Mario Missing or the Mario Numbers or
<v Speaker 1>the Mario Alpha. Bet I'm not looking.
<v Speaker 2>I think I guess I could give you the company
<v Speaker 2>name is A hints Phillips.
<v Speaker 1>Oh may. I love those YouTube hoops of those games.
<v Speaker 1>I think it's ridiculous. The toast scene, a toaster scene,
<v Speaker 1>all toasters, toast, toast, not bread.
<v Speaker 2>That's b s.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's crazy.
<v Speaker 2>All right. Next up we have what was the first
<v Speaker 2>Pokemon ever designed?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I think I know. I think it's side Uk No. Well,
<v Speaker 1>I think sid Duck is his favorite one. I think
<v Speaker 1>I think I'm gonna go with. I'm gonna go with.
<v Speaker 1>I already hands it, I'll leave it.
<v Speaker 2>What the what is?
<v Speaker 1>It's probably a dumb one like like mister Mime or something.
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna say, I'm gonna throw I'm gonna throw a
<v Speaker 1>Rando out here.
<v Speaker 2>I'm gonna go Chandle Lore like what six or.
<v Speaker 1>Is it?
<v Speaker 2>Is it right?
<v Speaker 1>Horn? No? But close right on, right on right? That
<v Speaker 1>makes sense on the Pokemon if you saw and then
<v Speaker 1>got it wrong on purpose, that's no, no, no, no, I
<v Speaker 1>knew it was right on because right on yeah, nickname,
<v Speaker 1>I ride on right on this all right?
<v Speaker 2>Last one? Name three Mario enemies that debuted in Super
<v Speaker 2>Mario Bros. And became staples serious or serious staples in
<v Speaker 2>the first and Super Mario Bros. To Brothers to the
<v Speaker 2>Lost Levels or us A the U s A one. Okay, yeah, well.
<v Speaker 1>Technically, uh, Shai guy is weird because Shy guy is
<v Speaker 1>more more of a Yoshi enemy.
<v Speaker 2>Ya.
<v Speaker 1>Sha guys are pretty much only in Yoshi's Island games
<v Speaker 1>as enemies. Yeah, they're not really in Mario games much
<v Speaker 1>other than like spinoffs and like some. Yeah, but like
<v Speaker 1>in the mainline games, like they're not really there that much.
<v Speaker 1>It's kind of interesting. I don't.
<v Speaker 2>I don't think I guys know, I don't.
<v Speaker 1>We already talked about one in this room, Pokey's. Pokey's
<v Speaker 1>came from Oria too. Oh okay, yeah, because we talked
<v Speaker 1>about Berto, right, should give him? Yes? Well, I mean
<v Speaker 1>unless it was I don't I don't want you to
<v Speaker 1>give me shy. That's why I said Guy is more
<v Speaker 1>of a.
<v Speaker 2>Count Berto county.
<v Speaker 1>What else is there you should have taken? Well, no,
<v Speaker 1>I'm not counting Berto from myself because Berto is barely
<v Speaker 1>ever an enemy.
<v Speaker 2>Berto is just the character spin off.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, Well, oh crap, man, I might have killed myself
<v Speaker 1>in a corner. You. I think you should just take
<v Speaker 1>the ones that we got. Oh no, no, no, I
<v Speaker 1>can do this. I can do this. Mauser doesn't counts
<v Speaker 1>or just barely ever anywhere. It's crazy, you know it is, Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>because I don't. You just said Mauser and I remembered
<v Speaker 1>that that exists for the first time since I was eight.
<v Speaker 1>Mauser's in the movie Ninja Galaxy Ninja's.
<v Speaker 2>I'll give you Ninjas. I didn't have it on the list.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, one more Ninje's. Are they actually in Mario two?
<v Speaker 1>I actually don't know.
<v Speaker 2>I'm pretty sure they are.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, how many do you have over there? Of like
<v Speaker 1>possible answers? Five? But he's not counting two of them
<v Speaker 1>and we've already named two, so you have to get
<v Speaker 1>the last.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, they appear in Mario two Doki Panic, So that's
<v Speaker 2>not the but technically, yeah, he answered one, and he's
<v Speaker 2>not taking Burtle or shy guys. Sniffets are sniffets in
<v Speaker 2>that game. Sniffers in that game.
<v Speaker 1>I don't care.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, so you've got pokey sniffets that no one has said.
<v Speaker 2>This one's the most obvious one.
<v Speaker 1>The the little the cactus. It's not the mask thing, right,
<v Speaker 1>that's Fanto And he's not really in a bunch of
<v Speaker 1>games Fantos here and there. Panto is actually going to
<v Speaker 1>be in the more you wonder I did see that. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>the switch to edition. But you don't know Fanto.
<v Speaker 2>No, I'm saying, I don't know what Phanto. I'm saying.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what the last thing could be. We've
<v Speaker 1>named everything I can think of. Yeah, yeah, the look
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, yeah it oh wait, Bob really yeah, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>oh wow nice grab last second grab. Yeah, that was epic,
<v Speaker 1>Bob question answer moment.
<v Speaker 2>Scott got every single one of them correct.
<v Speaker 1>Nice everyone, excuse me, I got, well, you.
<v Speaker 2>Got, you got, I got.
<v Speaker 1>I got, Cliff, very thank you, Cliff, give me.
<v Speaker 2>No, no, I got the right on yeah, one and
<v Speaker 2>one and then eight for Scott.
<v Speaker 1>There, I mean, I had stuff to talk about as
<v Speaker 1>far as like things happening right now, fire, red leaf,
<v Speaker 1>green stuff like that. But we're past an hour. If
<v Speaker 1>you want to go to bed, I mean I can
<v Speaker 1>keep going. But bro, let me tell you I was
<v Speaker 1>I was gonna just I'll just say it right now.
<v Speaker 2>Say it.
<v Speaker 1>I got a pee, so damn bad. I had it
<v Speaker 1>way too long last week pants, last week on the
<v Speaker 1>you had to so many coffees today to yo?
<v Speaker 2>Can I get my backpack?
<v Speaker 1>What do you need your backpack?
<v Speaker 2>Because I have something for Scott because you won the game.
<v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, I get it.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah right, all right, all right, guys, I guess we're
<v Speaker 1>just gonna I've read some super chats while we have
<v Speaker 1>a second hand before. Got some cool people in here. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>let me scroll up. We have a bunch of new members.
<v Speaker 1>Six nine four twenty became a secret bonus episode member
<v Speaker 1>I should say, because I didn't say that we're going
<v Speaker 1>to do a bonus. We have an episode on Friday,
<v Speaker 1>so we're going to do a bonus on Friday. We're
<v Speaker 1>not going to do a bonus tonight. We're going to
<v Speaker 1>keep it to one this week. Just just want to
<v Speaker 1>let you know, Rolf Games, thanks for becoming a member.
<v Speaker 1>Tanner on YouTube, thanks for becoming a member, prop Rock,
<v Speaker 1>would Scott Knight, Sully the Boys? Ben Dtu just gave
<v Speaker 1>five and said, hatsumiku Noah with two Scott, when are
<v Speaker 1>you going to replay Fling Smash? I guess I can
<v Speaker 1>ask him that when he gets back. Booty by Hershey
<v Speaker 1>with five says Wednesday night is my weekly board game night,
<v Speaker 1>but checking in to say hi quickly hello, how are you?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah?
<v Speaker 1>A Friday's episode is going to because of the Pokemon
<v Speaker 1>presents as well. We probably should have said that. So
<v Speaker 1>we're going to have a big, hopefully a big Jen
<v Speaker 1>ten episode. I'm feeling it. I'm feeling ready. I feel like,
<v Speaker 1>you know, thirty the anniversary. This is it we're gonna have.
<v Speaker 1>We're gonna be very happy about it. If if nothing happens,
<v Speaker 1>if it's just mobile games and slop, do we do
<v Speaker 1>we do the Friday episode? Do we bother all coming
<v Speaker 1>back in and talking about well? What could I mean?
<v Speaker 1>I guess we have other stuff on dog.
<v Speaker 2>Big was already revealed. I mean, we don't know, we
<v Speaker 2>don't know that, we don't know.
<v Speaker 1>We haven't really had a chance to talk about fire
<v Speaker 1>Red on the show that comes unless Scott wants to talk.
<v Speaker 1>I think it was like last week that night where
<v Speaker 1>they unofficially revealed it.
<v Speaker 2>What is there to talk about? It's a rom On
<v Speaker 2>switch that's exciting, not even Nintendo switch online. You can't
<v Speaker 2>even the Riddler was right, I think, yeah, we're missing.
<v Speaker 1>The whole point is that the Riddler got something right
<v Speaker 1>and we were like, oh my gosh, like this is
<v Speaker 1>well the Riddler. I don't I don't know nothing about
<v Speaker 1>the Riddler, but all I know now is that he
<v Speaker 1>got this right. So the riddl credibility right now on
<v Speaker 1>this show. Yes, yes, yeah, that's crazy. That's actually bizarre.
<v Speaker 1>It's actually it's actually really cool to know someone as
<v Speaker 1>well as Nate the Hate that has one hundred percent
<v Speaker 1>credibility in these things online. Yeah, it's just nice to know. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>Oh for sure, Express Moon with it two.
<v Speaker 2>Oh.
<v Speaker 1>Express Moon sent me another stick of it today for
<v Speaker 1>the Patreons. Oh and it's sick. It's Pokemon themed.
<v Speaker 2>Oh my gosh. Yeah, let's go we go. So we
<v Speaker 2>have a tennis one, a regular one, and I'll Pokemon one.
<v Speaker 1>Ye uh, Nathan with a five. Nice to see Scott
<v Speaker 1>on the pod. Been a fan for years? What did
<v Speaker 1>you think about Mario Tennis? I'll ask him when he
<v Speaker 1>gets back. I got two questions for you, Scott. Three
<v Speaker 1>actually one, How was the p that was bad? Did
<v Speaker 1>you get it everywhere? No? It was just like, dude,
<v Speaker 1>I wish you could feel how I felt. I wish
<v Speaker 1>I could have felt in a way. I wish I
<v Speaker 1>felt it. I wish I had gone with you and helped.
<v Speaker 1>You know. No, that's not what.
<v Speaker 2>I'm talking about.
<v Speaker 1>What do you mean when you say I wish you
<v Speaker 1>could have felt what I felt. You were holding like
<v Speaker 1>a pee and then you'd let it out and then
<v Speaker 1>it's like, wow, that that was great. Yes, last week
<v Speaker 1>on the show, I went and I peed for like
<v Speaker 1>ten minutes after like a two hour episode.
<v Speaker 2>All right, so you know how I felt? I was
<v Speaker 2>pretty good.
<v Speaker 1>How I feel it feels like the pee really good? Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I know what, Like when you're on a road trip
<v Speaker 1>and you're going somewhere and like you finally pull off
<v Speaker 1>for a rest up or gets to a hotel and
<v Speaker 1>you're like, finally, I still I still have these questions
<v Speaker 1>for you, Scott. When I got up, I genuinely felt
<v Speaker 1>like like my legs didn't work, oh, because I had
<v Speaker 1>to pee so bad all three of them?
<v Speaker 2>What No?
<v Speaker 1>So when I got up, I felt like, oh wow,
<v Speaker 1>something is off, and it was just that you really
<v Speaker 1>had I really had to have you. So when I
<v Speaker 1>really have to pee, like really bad in the night,
<v Speaker 1>I start having dreams about pee. Yes, it's never gotten.
<v Speaker 1>It ends Ago Kim doesn't know about this. It's just like,
<v Speaker 1>how do you not pee the bed when you're peeing here?
<v Speaker 2>That's what I was like.
<v Speaker 1>It's a miracle because I was peeing forever. Just stop.
<v Speaker 1>It just happened. No, I mean in your dream?
<v Speaker 2>Have you had this?
<v Speaker 1>I don't think I really ever like reaped in my dream,
<v Speaker 1>but I definitely kind of get the vibe you guys are.
<v Speaker 1>It's literally like, so I spend so much of a
<v Speaker 1>dream trying to find a bathroom and it's like they're
<v Speaker 1>always out of order or there's no pe. So then
<v Speaker 1>you'll finally be like, I'm just gonna pee like on
<v Speaker 1>this building or something like I'm gonna do a sneaky.
<v Speaker 2>Pee and it never ends.
<v Speaker 1>And then people start crowding around asking questions and you're
<v Speaker 1>just like.
<v Speaker 2>It's so crazy. I had a dream last night. That
<v Speaker 2>I meant because I had to use the bathroom and
<v Speaker 2>I kept looking at the clock.
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, it's only seven thirty. Okay, it's okay.
<v Speaker 2>If I show up late, you know, they'll be fine.
<v Speaker 2>I'm looking for a place to pee.
<v Speaker 1>The crazy thing is I'll finally wake up from one
<v Speaker 1>of those dreams and I'll be so tired. I'm like,
<v Speaker 1>I just want more sleep. I'm not even gonna get out. Well,
<v Speaker 1>have I do? I do have to it? Yeah, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>have you ever written down your dreams before? Because I have.
<v Speaker 1>I have like anap that like sometimes if that's like
<v Speaker 1>an idea, if I think that I've like dreamt of
<v Speaker 1>something that, like like if sometimes I dream I'm a
<v Speaker 1>millionaire from some crazy idea. So I'll write it down
<v Speaker 1>and then I'll wake up and literally i'll read the
<v Speaker 1>woods and I don't know what that means. Yeah, like
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what that Like. The most recent when
<v Speaker 1>I wrote down was like I was in a house
<v Speaker 1>and there was just a bunch of bugs everywhere, and
<v Speaker 1>like there's really big grasshoppers that I tried to pick up. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>things ket hitting my wrist and then that's the only
<v Speaker 1>thing I can remember from that dream waking there's a
<v Speaker 1>grasshopper in my house. It just is like, you think
<v Speaker 1>it's so important.
<v Speaker 2>When you're waking up, you feel like the dream makes sense,
<v Speaker 2>but then yeah, when you wake up fully reflect on it,
<v Speaker 2>you're like, bro, that was just a bunch of nonsense.
<v Speaker 1>So do you ever do you ever feel like when
<v Speaker 1>you you feel like you need to tell somebody the dream,
<v Speaker 1>and then you go do it and you feel very quickly,
<v Speaker 1>you very quickly forget it, forget a lot of elements
<v Speaker 1>of it. But then when you start to say it,
<v Speaker 1>you're like, wow, this is the worst story. Why does it?
<v Speaker 1>Why would anybody care about anything? Yeah? I also love
<v Speaker 1>when you're telling a dream story and you're like, and
<v Speaker 1>then we went here, and then we went here, and
<v Speaker 1>then suddenly we wait here and it's like it doesn't
<v Speaker 1>make and you were there and then you were there too,
<v Speaker 1>I think maybe yeah. And do your partners ever wake up? Uh? Okay,
<v Speaker 1>I'll say it this way. Kim wakes up almost every
<v Speaker 1>night and she's gonna hate that I'm telling you this,
<v Speaker 1>and she'll wake up mid dream and keep talking. Do
<v Speaker 1>you ever have that? Oh? No, she does it almost
<v Speaker 1>every night and I'm not gonna tell I'm not gonna
<v Speaker 1>give like the real ones away because she'll be embarrassed,
<v Speaker 1>But like, you're gonna I'll make up one because it's
<v Speaker 1>always going what if it's actually the real one?
<v Speaker 2>It's I You're gonna keep saying that.
<v Speaker 1>She'll literally wake up out of nowhere and be like,
<v Speaker 1>did you drink the can on the bed with the guy?
<v Speaker 1>And I'll be like what, and she's like because if
<v Speaker 1>you did, I don't know. And then I'll be like, oh, okay,
<v Speaker 1>just go back to sleep, It's okay. She'll she does
<v Speaker 1>it every night, and then every night yes, and then
<v Speaker 1>I'll write it down every time and tell her the
<v Speaker 1>next day. I'll be like, you said this last night. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>she hates it every time. I have questions for you.
<v Speaker 1>Are we done with the pe dreams? I wanted to
<v Speaker 1>bring up one more thing? Please? Do I really want
<v Speaker 1>to do the thing where I want to? I want to.
<v Speaker 1>I want to put my hand in a bowl of
<v Speaker 1>water while I sleep. That will make you pee, apparently,
<v Speaker 1>I want to. I wanted to know. That's the classic
<v Speaker 1>school boy pranka.
<v Speaker 2>But I want to and I want to.
<v Speaker 1>I want to. I want to see see it happen.
<v Speaker 1>You could have told me you could have we could
<v Speaker 1>have done it. Now.
<v Speaker 2>You could have fell asleep.
<v Speaker 1>I sleeping?
<v Speaker 2>Do I have to be sleeping?
<v Speaker 1>I could I just have my hands in water for
<v Speaker 1>an extended period of time because you need to be
<v Speaker 1>fully your buddy needs to be fully relaxed. And the
<v Speaker 1>sensation of the worm that makes it so. So technically,
<v Speaker 1>if I if I have my hands in a bowl
<v Speaker 1>of water for like five hours and I'm and I'm
<v Speaker 1>hanging out with you guys, and then you just see
<v Speaker 1>me piss myself, that's how you guys know, Like, Damn,
<v Speaker 1>Scott's happy. Scott's Scott's so relaxed right now, he doesn't
<v Speaker 1>have a care in the world. That'saz Pat. Can you
<v Speaker 1>get a warm bottle of water? Please? Thank you, warm
<v Speaker 1>warm bowl of water. He's gonna do it, Okay. Then
<v Speaker 1>Nathan asks, what do you feel about the new Mario Tennis?
<v Speaker 1>That's good game?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I think people are I think people.
<v Speaker 1>I think I think everybody's a little too like like
<v Speaker 1>jump into the negatives with a lot of stuff, like
<v Speaker 1>there's stuff that negative that adventure mode is ass thank you,
<v Speaker 1>But I agree the core game is good I don't
<v Speaker 1>think the game is worth seventy dollars. I think that's
<v Speaker 1>way too expensive. Times people jump to the negative way
<v Speaker 1>too quickly. The adventure mode.
<v Speaker 2>Is ass yeah it is.
<v Speaker 1>But the game itself is the core of that is
<v Speaker 1>pretty good. And like I do think there's a lot
<v Speaker 1>of content. I don't think it's worth seventy dollars. But
<v Speaker 1>of course, like I know, I do see, I do see.
<v Speaker 1>With the reviews, thank you very much. Hell yeah, wait
<v Speaker 1>do I got it? Do you have it? That's no? No? No, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>no no, no bowl, use the mugs, I get a ball.
<v Speaker 1>You actually heat the water up? Yeah, like one cool dude?
<v Speaker 1>Are you listening over here? Man?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah?
<v Speaker 1>Laterally looked at us and went, are you trying to
<v Speaker 1>get someone to pee? It's gonna be so cool. I
<v Speaker 1>actually do have to pee? Should I do it too?
<v Speaker 1>Should we share the ball bowl? Or is that too
<v Speaker 1>much because I actually have to pee?
<v Speaker 2>A man?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah? Like he like at the desk, I don't care.
<v Speaker 1>You can do whatever you want. Well I can, it's
<v Speaker 1>my show. Yeah, either way, it's true. The Mario Tennis reviews,
<v Speaker 1>I think I do feel like they were kind of
<v Speaker 1>a little too critical on the game in many ways.
<v Speaker 1>Did you see mine? Yeah? I saw the Actually no, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I'm saving it for later. I don't have time, Joe, No, yeah, no,
<v Speaker 1>I think uh I I I think it's one of
<v Speaker 1>the best Mario Tennis games. It's Mario Tennis. You know,
<v Speaker 1>it's not gonna be like the craziest thing. But like, overall,
<v Speaker 1>I think the Fever rackets really introduce a ton of
<v Speaker 1>fun elements. There's a lot of strategy there, but it
<v Speaker 1>brings kind of that wackiness to a Mario sports game
<v Speaker 1>that I've been missing for for.
<v Speaker 2>A lot of I love the rackets. I do very fun.
<v Speaker 1>I do feel like I've already played it unlocked every character,
<v Speaker 1>and I'm kind of like, well, yeah, I played this game.
<v Speaker 1>If you go through all of the towers, it unlocks
<v Speaker 1>like a bunch of challenges, which is cool. I did
<v Speaker 1>do the towers. Yeah, there's a fun. Yeah, there's it's
<v Speaker 1>it's it's neat, you get I think it's a yeah,
<v Speaker 1>you gotta like walk your way up. But you know,
<v Speaker 1>you know, you know what, I don't like people going
<v Speaker 1>like Mario Tennis. We the Switch to needs something else
<v Speaker 1>right now. The Switch Too needs more, a bigger game.
<v Speaker 1>I'm just like, what the it's February, yes, eight months
<v Speaker 1>of the I'm not I'm not defending like that. It's
<v Speaker 1>more so just like I'm kind of like a three D.
<v Speaker 1>Mario is gonna come, as Alda is gonna come. I
<v Speaker 1>don't really care. It's February, but it's Mario Tennis. Mario
<v Speaker 1>ten is coming out. Because Marty Tennis is done. I
<v Speaker 1>put a video like they're putting it out because it's
<v Speaker 1>it's ready. I put a video out yesterday and uh,
<v Speaker 1>I did you guys watch it?
<v Speaker 2>I did?
<v Speaker 1>They not talking about whatever? Yeah, it was kind of
<v Speaker 1>it was a funny. It was a fun video. The
<v Speaker 1>idea was I didn't really have a lot to talk about,
<v Speaker 1>so I just kind of scattered brain talked about a
<v Speaker 1>bunch of stuff. People Really, some people read into it
<v Speaker 1>and thought that I was trying to say anything, Like
<v Speaker 1>if you read into it in any way, that seemed
<v Speaker 1>like I was trying to say Nintendo is doomed. That's
<v Speaker 1>not what was happening. Has always been doomed. There's always doomed.
<v Speaker 1>It's just right as of right now, I just don't
<v Speaker 1>know what I'm supposed to be doing or looking forward to.
<v Speaker 1>But that doesn't mean I think it's over and that like,
<v Speaker 1>I don't I know that a three D Mario was
<v Speaker 1>probably coming. Jurando is doing so well right now. It's
<v Speaker 1>just like they're not being for the world. Yeah, being
<v Speaker 1>concerned about the state of Nintendo. I just don't care.
<v Speaker 1>Have you seen all of the Nintendo doom and gloom
<v Speaker 1>that's going literally like this channel that isn't just doesn't
<v Speaker 1>say to not be critical. I think you should always
<v Speaker 1>be critical of any product you buy from any company.
<v Speaker 1>Companies don't care about you. They don't they're not people.
<v Speaker 1>They don't care about you. They don't look at you like,
<v Speaker 1>oh boy, we want to make you happy like they
<v Speaker 1>look at you.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, they want money, see you as a wallet.
<v Speaker 1>At the same time, I'm kind of looking at a
<v Speaker 1>lot of the crazy Dooming Gloom kind of stuff and
<v Speaker 1>I'm just going like, Okay, why are we so dooming gloom? Like, oh,
<v Speaker 1>because the game? These games are ten dollars more expensive
<v Speaker 1>than you want them to be. Do you want to
<v Speaker 1>know why people are actually dooming Gloom because they get clicks? Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>of course they got to pay the bills and feed mouths.
<v Speaker 1>And it's also.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>You've got to be a certain level of miserable to
<v Speaker 1>just be like the constant like this company off. It's
<v Speaker 1>just like they make video games. Okay, move on if
<v Speaker 1>you're that pissed off about poke. Ah, yes, anybody that
<v Speaker 1>didn't like what I just said, Look what I'm about
<v Speaker 1>to do. Thank you, thank you. Oh that is warm. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>so so over. I feel like we would be holding
<v Speaker 1>hands if we shadded. I think he's just prett Is
<v Speaker 1>that all good? That the screen is frozen? I pused it. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>it's actually very far behind. Okay, okay, all my pen Oh,
<v Speaker 1>oh hands, thank you. Oh. That actually does feel like
<v Speaker 1>I could pee. That actually does feel relaxed. See now
<v Speaker 1>we're on the other side of this table and we're
<v Speaker 1>just watching this. This is like I'm waiting for one
<v Speaker 1>of you guys to pee. Keep thank you. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know what he's just waiting.
<v Speaker 2>This is great. This is crazy.
<v Speaker 1>I pat hung in the room to see if you
<v Speaker 1>were going to pee. This is like, this is like
<v Speaker 1>watching me do this and going like this man's insane.
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god. That's like you see the picture of
<v Speaker 1>like it's like the girl or something and she has
<v Speaker 1>like a bag of chips on her head in the
<v Speaker 1>grocery store, like doing this, and then like the captain
<v Speaker 1>is just like, oh my god, I love her. She's
<v Speaker 1>so crazy. Hell just like, oh my god, I saw
<v Speaker 1>Scott put his hand in warm water for an extended
<v Speaker 1>period of time. Oh my god, it was wild. Anyway, Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I mean like I don't care. Nintendo sucks ass. But
<v Speaker 1>I'm also like I don't care people are too critical.
<v Speaker 1>I don't care. Yeah, no, no, I don't. You can
<v Speaker 1>be you can be as critical as you want about
<v Speaker 1>the company. I just see a lot of the criticism.
<v Speaker 1>I'm just kind of like, this just feels like it's unproductive.
<v Speaker 1>Like it's just kind of like, Okay, so you're pissed
<v Speaker 1>off about that, Okay, so yeah, move on a piece
<v Speaker 1>and then move on. But people get so emotionally attached
<v Speaker 1>to a lot of it, and then they have to
<v Speaker 1>go out for the people who are actually enjoying.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I'm just kind of like this just isn't very productive.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, this conversation is echoing the tail end of
<v Speaker 1>my video from yesterday where I said, if you want
<v Speaker 1>to enjoy video games, you really just got to get
<v Speaker 1>off the Internet at this point, because everyone's going to
<v Speaker 1>tell you how you should feel, like how angry you
<v Speaker 1>should be, or how you should feel about this thing.
<v Speaker 1>You just make your own mind up. Yeah, you just
<v Speaker 1>have your own opinions. And like, I like, I enjoy
<v Speaker 1>people watch me. I know you enjoy people watch you.
<v Speaker 1>But these are my opinions you're watching and hopefully you
<v Speaker 1>get entertainment out of them. But they're not supposed to
<v Speaker 1>be your opinions, and you don't even have to like them. Yeah, Like,
<v Speaker 1>I just I'm just totally in the state where I'm
<v Speaker 1>just kind of like I don't really care. I obviously care,
<v Speaker 1>like I love paying attention to all this stuff. At
<v Speaker 1>the same time, it's kind of like I'm just like, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>the video game company is gonna show me something they
<v Speaker 1>potentially think I might want to buy, and I will
<v Speaker 1>look at that like I like it or I don't
<v Speaker 1>like it. Getting mad about a direct and it's about
<v Speaker 1>it has Like so when I when I started reacting
<v Speaker 1>to directs and making videos about them, like it was
<v Speaker 1>great for a long time because the directs were great
<v Speaker 1>for a long time, and as they started getting a
<v Speaker 1>bit more stale, the comments on them started getting really
<v Speaker 1>negative and really angry, a lot of disease, a lot
<v Speaker 1>of like this is boring, this sucks. So when I
<v Speaker 1>would make my video, I would get influenced by that
<v Speaker 1>because I just watched it with a bunch of people
<v Speaker 1>and everyone hated it. So I'm like, oh, that obviously sucked.
<v Speaker 1>And then I made some videos and some reactions where
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, what a bad direct And I think the
<v Speaker 1>problem is like it's acting like Nintendo should do something
<v Speaker 1>differently in a lot of cases when it's like these
<v Speaker 1>are the games that are ready right now. Yes, Like
<v Speaker 1>it's just like okay, so it's just like you can't.
<v Speaker 1>It's just like it is. That's what I That's literally
<v Speaker 1>what I said in my life reaction criticize maybe like
<v Speaker 1>the format of the direct or, like oh I don't
<v Speaker 1>really like the games that they but it's also like
<v Speaker 1>telling Nintendo to like they should have done this differently.
<v Speaker 1>It's just like these these are the games that are
<v Speaker 1>ready with a direct too, It's like what are they
<v Speaker 1>what are they supposed to do? Like, these are the
<v Speaker 1>games that are coming out right now. If you don't
<v Speaker 1>and if you're not interested in that, that's great, you know,
<v Speaker 1>like just go get them, get the next one. It's
<v Speaker 1>this this direct wasn't a movie you paid a ticket
<v Speaker 1>to and you go there and it's just like it's
<v Speaker 1>literally a giant string of advertisements. Yes, it's like being
<v Speaker 1>like the super Bowl commercial sucked ass this year. It's
<v Speaker 1>just like, well, yeah, they always suck. They definitely be fair.
<v Speaker 1>That's a bad example this year, I forgot. But it's
<v Speaker 1>also like at the same time, it's like they're on
<v Speaker 1>their commercials. Yeah, they're commercials. It's just like, yeah, it's like,
<v Speaker 1>why do I give a damn about commercials? I agree
<v Speaker 1>with you one hundred percent, Like I mean, I do care.
<v Speaker 1>I like criticizing stuff. But it's like at the same time,
<v Speaker 1>my point is like a direct is like these are
<v Speaker 1>the games that they're ready to show right now. Directs
<v Speaker 1>always that the idea of direct is just to show
<v Speaker 1>people what's coming, and that's the way it's always been.
<v Speaker 1>It just so happened that for a long time it
<v Speaker 1>was really exciting the things that were coming, the things
<v Speaker 1>that were happening. I mean, Smash reveals made those directs
<v Speaker 1>way more exciting than people realize. Like when they think
<v Speaker 1>back to like, oh, directs used to be good. It's
<v Speaker 1>probably because like of a Smash reveal more than it
<v Speaker 1>was everything else in the direct right, We're just at
<v Speaker 1>like kind of a lull point right now. But still
<v Speaker 1>it's just games. It's just games, yeah, and there's a
<v Speaker 1>million games to play. It. It doesn't mean that like
<v Speaker 1>oh I don't want this game or that game or something,
<v Speaker 1>but a lot of games are kind of like, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>there's obviously going to be another three D Mario. There's
<v Speaker 1>obviously going to be another Zelda game. There's obviously going
<v Speaker 1>to be another Animal Crossing. There's obviously going to be
<v Speaker 1>another like this and that and all of that. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>it's like these things are going to happen. So it's
<v Speaker 1>just kind of like, you know, whenever they do great,
<v Speaker 1>but like right now, it's not like it's not like
<v Speaker 1>I'm going like, oh my god, like, yeah, they're just
<v Speaker 1>not going to do three D Mario. I I can't
<v Speaker 1>I can't look forward to a new three D mar
<v Speaker 1>because I don't know they're gonna make what they're gonna
<v Speaker 1>make one.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. I think a lot of it is also because
<v Speaker 2>people are so used to like the directs from the
<v Speaker 2>past during the Switch era, and it had a lot
<v Speaker 2>of heavy hitters coming out right.
<v Speaker 1>The Switch era was was almost like a double edged
<v Speaker 1>sword because now conditioned people when it was in its swing,
<v Speaker 1>because the last couple of years of the Switch Era
<v Speaker 1>was was not good.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah yeah, but we're talking about the hype of the
<v Speaker 2>first year.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Well, they also kind of like gave us all
<v Speaker 1>these games that we've always wanted, all that stuff, like
<v Speaker 1>all here, Smash Brother's Ultimate with literally every character possible,
<v Speaker 1>Zelda is finally switching things up with Breath of the Wild.
<v Speaker 1>Oh man, three D Mari was going back to Sandbox,
<v Speaker 1>all this stuff. Animal Crossing is back, and like, oh
<v Speaker 1>my god, they're bringing back Tuty, Metroid, Metrod Prime is
<v Speaker 1>coming back, given the Prime four. It was a little
<v Speaker 1>like weird, but it's kind of like it's just like
<v Speaker 1>what it was everything we ever wanted other than that
<v Speaker 1>was so exciting about during the Switch Era. It was like,
<v Speaker 1>oh man, these these franchises are coming back, and they're
<v Speaker 1>coming back full force like all of that, and now
<v Speaker 1>it's kind of like, Okay, now I want another one,
<v Speaker 1>and that's just not as exciting, Like it's kind of like, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>it's just like it's just it's kind of just expected,
<v Speaker 1>and you know, we can't always expect everything.
<v Speaker 2>But it's also like, you know, like it's like, you know,
<v Speaker 2>like it's it's it's hard. It's hard to get.
<v Speaker 1>Like the Switch Era was a very exciting, like kind
<v Speaker 1>of comeback story for Nintendo, So the Switch to Era
<v Speaker 1>is just kind of a you know, it's just kind
<v Speaker 1>of more of the same. We got another Mario Tennis game,
<v Speaker 1>I think, and it's good, but it's like it's just
<v Speaker 1>more Mario Tennis. I don't know. I do think that
<v Speaker 1>we are going to be in a much If we
<v Speaker 1>have this conversation a year or two from now, I
<v Speaker 1>think we're going to be talking about it a lot
<v Speaker 1>differently though. I think once we get a glimpse at
<v Speaker 1>what Zelder is happening next, once we get our hands
<v Speaker 1>on a three D Mario, and after Nintendo drop a
<v Speaker 1>couple of new things, whatever's between rad is is, I
<v Speaker 1>think we might actually look back and maybe even if
<v Speaker 1>like the next gen Pokemon isn't horrible, you know, we
<v Speaker 1>might actually look back and be like, oh wow, the
<v Speaker 1>switch to actually stepped it up. And it just takes time.
<v Speaker 1>It just I think it just takes time. It was
<v Speaker 1>really exciting at the start of Switch one because we
<v Speaker 1>did have Metroid, Zelda, Pokemon, Donkey Kong, which is kind
<v Speaker 1>of like a Mario co and we had all of
<v Speaker 1>the all the franchises, a lot of stuff, and it
<v Speaker 1>did actually seem like Nintendo were doing it again, like oh,
<v Speaker 1>it's like the Switch one or over getting everything again
<v Speaker 1>in six months. It's just that after those first two games,
<v Speaker 1>the last full main ones was just kind of like
<v Speaker 1>they were very sub subjective. The pacing of the releases
<v Speaker 1>was definitely a little strange, especially the fact that like
<v Speaker 1>after Donkey Kong, there wasn't really much going on after
<v Speaker 1>that for a couple of months, and then you know,
<v Speaker 1>they just didn't give us release dates and stuff. So
<v Speaker 1>that's completely fair to be like, yeah, the latter half
<v Speaker 1>of twenty twenty five was didn't really keep up the momentum.
<v Speaker 1>You know, it just wasn't as interesting, but it was
<v Speaker 1>still like a lot of good quality stuff. Career Riders
<v Speaker 1>was cool and its careers as a quality game, and
<v Speaker 1>you know, metry Prime four with its faults in mind,
<v Speaker 1>like it's still like, you know, like a lot of
<v Speaker 1>people still enjoyed it.
<v Speaker 2>And Switch twos release so it's not like it's been
<v Speaker 2>a year and I just feel like people move on
<v Speaker 2>too quickly.
<v Speaker 1>They do, because when you look back at like, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>we said the switch one like first year, how like
<v Speaker 1>almost every other month had banger release after banger release. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>with like at least maybe like one month in between them.
<v Speaker 1>But it's also kind of like, I'm kind of wondering
<v Speaker 1>looking back how much of that was, Just like you
<v Speaker 1>start with Zelda and then you ended with Mario watt
<v Speaker 1>to see how much of it? How how much of
<v Speaker 1>it was? Like, Okay, the second month we got a
<v Speaker 1>porta Mario Cred eight with just new battle maps, and
<v Speaker 1>that was pretty much for that time.
<v Speaker 2>And then like a month later Arms Yes.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, and then too that was cool, but at the times,
<v Speaker 1>well two and two was kind of lacking in content,
<v Speaker 1>and that way, it's very comparable to what we're doing now,
<v Speaker 1>especially with the Rabbids September Poking Tournament. Yeah, I'm in
<v Speaker 1>Poking tournament. It's like, okay, you know, like that's cool,
<v Speaker 1>Fire Emblem Warriors. It's like, how do you feel about
<v Speaker 1>all these switch to editions? A little DLC extra just
<v Speaker 1>don't give a damn, I know, right, it's like them
<v Speaker 1>as like if they're like positioned as like a new game,
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, no, they like that. Then it's like it's
<v Speaker 1>like two hours of content with the DLC, and it's
<v Speaker 1>just like I've already played a lot of these. It's cool.
<v Speaker 1>I'm happy that these games are getting them, but it's
<v Speaker 1>also like you know, the ties into it. But did
<v Speaker 1>you see it went around on the internet for a
<v Speaker 1>while about development cycles. It was the it was the
<v Speaker 1>thing like kids these days they grow up on one
<v Speaker 1>Mario game, and then you compare it to like when
<v Speaker 1>we were a kid, we had like ten Mario games
<v Speaker 1>in a like grow up generation. Because when everybody complained
<v Speaker 1>about that, they were like Mario game milk and Mario,
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god, well people, and then people.
<v Speaker 2>Are gonna.
<v Speaker 1>Would you then then doing like it switched to addition
<v Speaker 1>for Mario wand to them just doing like another Mario
<v Speaker 1>like Mario one to two and just putting this that's
<v Speaker 1>not comparable, that's a completely different. That's that's a five
<v Speaker 1>year dev cycle there. Five Yeah, would you did you
<v Speaker 1>do you remember? Do you remember how long it took
<v Speaker 1>to get a new two D Mario game? The last
<v Speaker 1>one before Mario Wonder. What if you're not counting Mario
<v Speaker 1>Maker was new Super Mario Brothers. You, yes, and it's
<v Speaker 1>like eleven years. What I'm saying though, like development cycles
<v Speaker 1>and there too long.
<v Speaker 2>Say they were hiring for a two dy Mario game,
<v Speaker 2>like people because they were working on the next toty
<v Speaker 2>Mario game. But we didn't know it was. We thought
<v Speaker 2>it was like Mario Maker or something. But at the
<v Speaker 2>time we're getting, we get so much Mario crap.
<v Speaker 1>Dude, I don't even I don't like Mario. I sell
<v Speaker 1>it to me, honest, I don't know. But like we
<v Speaker 1>got Mario Maker two, and then like two years later
<v Speaker 1>we got three D World plus Bowsers Fury, and then
<v Speaker 1>two years after that we got Mario Wonder and we.
<v Speaker 2>Got Orgami King two.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, well you get.
<v Speaker 2>So much stuff version. Yeah, you got the Mario RPG remake.
<v Speaker 2>That was a lot.
<v Speaker 1>We got all of those. That was a lot, Like
<v Speaker 1>two big pgs back to back. The RPGs are different,
<v Speaker 1>you know, it's a different kind of thing. But it's
<v Speaker 1>also like, yeah, like like looking at it, fundamentally, we've
<v Speaker 1>been getting a new Mario game or a new Mario
<v Speaker 1>release in the mainline series every two years.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean, I definitely believe these games take a
<v Speaker 2>long time to develop. I think people underestimate how much
<v Speaker 2>time and effort in development goes into like creating these games,
<v Speaker 2>so they're just always expecting, like, oh, every couple of
<v Speaker 2>years back, it's back. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>So it's kind of like, you know, like I'm just
<v Speaker 1>kind of like, yeah, I would love a new Mario game.
<v Speaker 1>But it's also like, you know, when it's when it's
<v Speaker 1>ready to show me, it's gonna be cool, it's gonna happen.
<v Speaker 2>I'm not going like, oh god, I need that right now.
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god. Two quick questions. One, uh, this is
<v Speaker 1>from Noah. Are you gonna replay fling Smash? I don't
<v Speaker 1>know what that is? You don't know flink smash. Is
<v Speaker 1>that they're running Nintendo with the chicken in the sling shot?
<v Speaker 1>Or is that something else? Slick chicken? Yellow guy? What's
<v Speaker 1>fling smash?
<v Speaker 2>You don't know flink smash?
<v Speaker 1>I think I do. This guy doesn't know flink smash.
<v Speaker 1>You know the Gizmundo, Yeah, Gizmondo. You know about the
<v Speaker 1>gizm You guys know about the Gizmondo's Mondo know the
<v Speaker 1>Gizmondo Scott. You guys on a Nintendo podcast about the
<v Speaker 1>Gizmundo Scott. Gizmondo was a failed handheld that was backed
<v Speaker 1>by the Swedish mafia. I have seen this and it
<v Speaker 1>looks like what I was trying to say, because my
<v Speaker 1>mind also feels like crap in your hands because the
<v Speaker 1>plastic has devolved and is now sticky. Ooh yeah, this
<v Speaker 1>is fling smashed. What was I thinking of? Wee chicken games,
<v Speaker 1>Chicken Shoot. Guess what his name Chicken Shoot Fling. No,
<v Speaker 1>it's Zip.
<v Speaker 2>Faker.
<v Speaker 1>I was thinking this, which, no, that's not what I
<v Speaker 1>was thinking. Chicken Blaster, Chicken Blaster. How many Chicken Wii
<v Speaker 1>games were there? You got you know more?
<v Speaker 2>No? Do you got more hun?
<v Speaker 1>What? Look at more Hun? More Hun? M o o
<v Speaker 1>r h u h n. Yeah you've seen that guy right?
<v Speaker 1>Why why were there so many Chicken Wii games? Not
<v Speaker 1>on we Have you seen Crazy Chicken Shooter Edition.
<v Speaker 2>On PS five?
<v Speaker 1>Crazy Chicken Shooter? What part of the more Hunt series?
<v Speaker 1>There are too many and shooting games? I'm PS five
<v Speaker 1>on PS on PS five, We're going down. Yeah we
<v Speaker 1>had Rabbit Hall. Yeah yeah, oh that looks awful. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>it's more hun what does that one look so bad?
<v Speaker 2>Wait?
<v Speaker 1>What's morehon the guy's name, the chicken's name, the guy
<v Speaker 1>Morn's like the series that's from. It's like a weird
<v Speaker 1>German series that has like five hundred entries.
<v Speaker 2>I love that.
<v Speaker 1>This is a remake. Yeah, they remade it, but they
<v Speaker 1>can't do much. They included it with wanted. Oh that's great. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>all right, we can we can be done. Have you peed?
<v Speaker 2>You know what?
<v Speaker 1>That's so funny?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I'm keeping it in there.
<v Speaker 1>I don't worry.
<v Speaker 2>Don't happen.
<v Speaker 1>You're supposed to You're supposed to pee.
<v Speaker 2>It happens when it happens.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, all right, Yeah, you guys want to ask anything?
<v Speaker 2>Uh?
<v Speaker 1>I mean I had one question from my friend. You
<v Speaker 1>just want to know if you like ranch range.
<v Speaker 2>Look at him.
<v Speaker 1>I do like ranch, like ranch dressing, ranch like it
<v Speaker 1>looks like it could be on the on the bottle
<v Speaker 1>of a ranch. What are you trying to shit in
<v Speaker 1>val What Scott's Ranch? Scott's Ranch? You know what? Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I can see that.
<v Speaker 2>I like ranch.
<v Speaker 1>You know what? Have you ever tried that fast food place,
<v Speaker 1>the Habit Burger and grill. I don't think we have it.
<v Speaker 1>No you do, well, then no I haven't. I've not
<v Speaker 1>heard of it. So I got it in San fran
<v Speaker 1>when I was down there, and they have homemade ranch.
<v Speaker 1>They make their ranch there and.
<v Speaker 2>It's pretty good, pretty good. It's pretty good, pretty good.
<v Speaker 1>I like it. Yeah, that was it. Oh, I'm going
<v Speaker 1>to ask you, no it does, madam. You're gonna ask
<v Speaker 1>me after the show, yes or no question? Gamekey cuts Ship.
<v Speaker 1>I mentioned this in a video, but I think I'm
<v Speaker 1>I'm fully past the point where I'm like I lost
<v Speaker 1>the battle. Yeah, you're buying them? Is that what your sideball?
<v Speaker 1>Final Fans seven? Because it's just like the game is
<v Speaker 1>ninety gigabytes, it wasn't being on a cartoon.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, yeah.
<v Speaker 1>And I also bought Assassin's Creed Shadows and Star Wars
<v Speaker 1>Outlaws on game key cards because it's also like, well
<v Speaker 1>on PS five, those games require internet to access them.
<v Speaker 1>For me, the battle is like kind of like I'm
<v Speaker 1>going to buy them and I want to play them,
<v Speaker 1>so I may as well get something like It's still
<v Speaker 1>like I'm not gonna jump at a game key card,
<v Speaker 1>but like if I make it makes sense where I'm like, okay,
<v Speaker 1>did you get the boost pack in the Final Fantasy? Yeah?
<v Speaker 1>I didn't open it yet, though, Oh you got to
<v Speaker 1>see what you get. I pulled a seventeen dollar cord.
<v Speaker 2>Are you gonna sell it?
<v Speaker 1>I know some way? Because it's cool, because if I
<v Speaker 1>because if I because it's I don't get because if
<v Speaker 1>I needed the money, I could have seld a half
<v Speaker 1>my money back. You know, are you really in a
<v Speaker 1>pickle where you need a seventeen dollars? Seventeen dollars, I say,
<v Speaker 1>you're gonna sell? I said, your final fans, you've seen
<v Speaker 1>how small this room is. Yeah, seventeen dollars. No, I said,
<v Speaker 1>if I needed the money, buddy, he said, if I
<v Speaker 1>needed the money, by the way, can I borrow like
<v Speaker 1>ten bucks before you? I went to the casino yesterday.
<v Speaker 1>I need guests to get home. I went to the
<v Speaker 1>casino yesterday. I lost everything. How much did you lose?
<v Speaker 1>I went to the roulette table and there was that's
<v Speaker 1>not a good idea. That's literally just a fifty fIF
<v Speaker 1>not even a fifty to fifty. You're just throwing money
<v Speaker 1>away unless you unless you do black or red. I no, no,
<v Speaker 1>that's kind of what I do, because you can do
<v Speaker 1>like there's the three quadrants of like oh one to twelve,
<v Speaker 1>thirteen to like twenty four all that I do. I
<v Speaker 1>do the middle and the highest. And I'm like, I'm
<v Speaker 1>telling me, so I cannot do it because you lost.
<v Speaker 1>I bet ten dollars and ten dollars in that way.
<v Speaker 1>It's very likely I'm gonna win. But you did.
<v Speaker 2>Did you win?
<v Speaker 1>No? But every now and then, when you're you're, you know, you're,
<v Speaker 1>you're you're when you're hot, you're hot, when you're hot,
<v Speaker 1>you're huh, someone in Chot just keeps saying cheese. And
<v Speaker 1>I don't know why. What's that was? That was such
<v Speaker 1>a whimsical pixie laugh? You just did you know? It
<v Speaker 1>was fake? Very like I didn't think that was funny.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't think that was funny, but I wanted to
<v Speaker 1>imply that. I think is that one of like the
<v Speaker 1>show memes? No, No, I mean I probably have said
<v Speaker 1>cheese before. They just asking like, what your favorite kind
<v Speaker 1>of cheese is? Maybe because I like Swiss. Swiss is good.
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna get sometimes it's great. Yeah, pepper Pepperjac's good.
<v Speaker 1>I like pepper Jack and pepper Jack is Kim's favorite.
<v Speaker 1>I'm a Cheddar guy. I'm a Chedda guy.
<v Speaker 2>Cheddar.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. I've been getting the Cheddar light so that I
<v Speaker 1>can light. It's like low calorie so I can put
<v Speaker 1>it on stuff. And I realized it's just thinner, literally
<v Speaker 1>half the size I have to And I have this
<v Speaker 1>like little fabric of cheese. I like, I can't even
<v Speaker 1>taste it. I like getting the light versions when I can.
<v Speaker 1>I get it when I can, you know, like the
<v Speaker 1>lighter no sugar or whatever. I'm doing a whole no
<v Speaker 1>sugar thing right now. Yeah, I you had coffee, there's
<v Speaker 1>no sugar in that? Really still use yeah, I mean
<v Speaker 1>if I asked for sugar, yeah, but the only the
<v Speaker 1>only sugar would be like from the milk, but it
<v Speaker 1>wouldn't be a ton, you know, I mean, sugar pops
<v Speaker 1>up my sterious. Its a little different the way that
<v Speaker 1>you got sugar in your coffee this morning, because you
<v Speaker 1>got a stuffed French toast lat that Yeah, yeah, it
<v Speaker 1>was good.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I went to Sabrina's Cafe. You guys know that place.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think so that's pretty good. It sounds good.
<v Speaker 1>It's like it's like Mexican break kind of breakfast. Your
<v Speaker 1>food it is good, Yeah, breakfast noted. There's a couple around.
<v Speaker 1>I think that's actually the first place Kim and I
<v Speaker 1>went when we came here looking for houses. Yeah, good spot. Guys,

<v Speaker 1>thats you want?

<v Speaker 1>if I had one, I would have got it. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>if you had one, you would have got him. It's
<v Speaker 1>a Nintendo New York little bowser key chain.
<v Speaker 2>That's cool.
<v Speaker 1>But that's cur because you didn't get to go to
<v Speaker 1>Nintendo New York because it snowed again. Yeah, we considered.
<v Speaker 1>We considered maybe taking a train up to New York.
<v Speaker 1>It would have been like an hour and a half.
<v Speaker 1>But it's also like I thought it would be kind
<v Speaker 1>of cool to go to phil to go to uh
<v Speaker 1>can I say this is in it's in Philly.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, man, I didn't know.
<v Speaker 1>Man, Oh damn, look at this freaking post.
