<v Speaker 1>This is WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre, and you're listening to
<v Speaker 1>the WWE podcast.
<v Speaker 2>The show, the one that everybody wants me Godet sixteen.
<v Speaker 3>So your ass is my arm.
<v Speaker 1>You can acknowledge me.
<v Speaker 2>Well, here we are Monday, August fourth, twenty twenty five,
<v Speaker 2>as SummerSlam Night two has concluded, and I'm not really
<v Speaker 2>not sure where to start. Not really a lot of
<v Speaker 2>news coming out of the out of Night two, pretty subdued,
<v Speaker 2>pl e. Not much that we can go over. Of course,
<v Speaker 2>I'm being extremely facetious and just I'm a bit surprised
<v Speaker 2>WWE did what they did. I have no disagreement with
<v Speaker 2>the return of brock Lesner. Obviously, story a number one
<v Speaker 2>with brock Lesner returning, shocking the world, and just I
<v Speaker 2>mean hitting an F five on John Cena. It's so
<v Speaker 2>much to get into with the Brocklesner return, and so
<v Speaker 2>many possibilities that we have now been opened up to
<v Speaker 2>with the Brocklesner return. I don't know how long his
<v Speaker 2>contract is, maybe a year, maybe two. I would imagine
<v Speaker 2>more than that, but at least through this year's WrestleMania,
<v Speaker 2>I would think brock Lesner is going to be with
<v Speaker 2>the company. And if WWE didn't think that they were
<v Speaker 2>smart to bring him back and then he wasn't cleared
<v Speaker 2>of all legal issues, they wouldn't have brought him back.
<v Speaker 2>So I know a lot of people are worried that
<v Speaker 2>they brought back some kind of sex predator, right, I mean,
<v Speaker 2>we've heard I've seen that online, which is just ridiculous.
<v Speaker 2>There now are publicly traded organization. It would be absolutely
<v Speaker 2>asinine for them if there was any concern that Brocklesner
<v Speaker 2>was going to be indicted again or there's more evidence
<v Speaker 2>that they would bring brock Lesner back. TKO is extremely
<v Speaker 2>sensitive to that kind of thing, and they would be
<v Speaker 2>foolish to do that. And so it kind of gives
<v Speaker 2>you hope that while brock Lesner may not be innocent
<v Speaker 2>of every crime in the world, as the odds are
<v Speaker 2>that he's done something, they don't have any evidence to
<v Speaker 2>support otherwise. So brock Lesner coming back is massive for
<v Speaker 2>the company. Brock Lesser is not going to be working
<v Speaker 2>a lot of dates. He's going to be in a
<v Speaker 2>maybe rowan rains or less type of schedule. He'll appear
<v Speaker 2>every now and then on RAW. I don't need to
<v Speaker 2>look at his contract to know what his schedule's going
<v Speaker 2>to be. We've seen a brock Lesner schedule before and
<v Speaker 2>I would anticipate nothing different here, with occasional ple E
<v Speaker 2>appearances every other pl he might I mean at most,
<v Speaker 2>I think he'll be wrestling every two months on a
<v Speaker 2>pl E. Brock Lesner's targeting John Cena, and that does
<v Speaker 2>seem to be clear. It could be as soon as
<v Speaker 2>clash in Paris on August thirty first, But then after
<v Speaker 2>that you look at the potential matchups and my guy
<v Speaker 2>Brocklesner versus bron Breaker, brock Lesner versus Gunther, and that
<v Speaker 2>is something that we've all looked forward to thought it
<v Speaker 2>could hapen last year and the year before. It didn't
<v Speaker 2>because the legal issues that brock was entangled in that
<v Speaker 2>have now since been cleared. But if brock Lesner and
<v Speaker 2>Guntherer are going to ever tangle up, we need to
<v Speaker 2>do some repair on Gunther. Gunther needs to be repaired
<v Speaker 2>to the point where it actually feels like brock Lesner
<v Speaker 2>could be challenged and potentially lose to Guntherro because every
<v Speaker 2>time that Guntherer gets in a big stage, he's lost.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, look at the WrestleMania, look at SummerSlam, So
<v Speaker 2>this is something that they'd need to build towards towards WrestleMania.
<v Speaker 2>So I would have Gunther and Brocklesner steer clear for
<v Speaker 2>the moment Brocklesner, CM Punk, Brocklesner Roman reigns and CM Punk,
<v Speaker 2>brock Lesner coming face to face with Paul Haman and
<v Speaker 2>having Paul Hayman come face to face with Brock and
<v Speaker 2>Roman and Punk and Seth. I mean, think about the
<v Speaker 2>possibilities here. Brock Lesner coming back opens up a world
<v Speaker 2>of possibility. And regardless of what you feel personally about
<v Speaker 2>what brock did it didn't do, it's irrelevant because brock
<v Speaker 2>Lesner is money. And if the company feels that they
<v Speaker 2>are smart enough and he has been cleared to the
<v Speaker 2>point of their satisfaction, then how do you know more
<v Speaker 2>than they do? How do you know more than they do?
<v Speaker 2>Or is it just a feeling? Is it just what
<v Speaker 2>you want it to be. It's the conclusion that you've
<v Speaker 2>already drawn that he is involved in some kind of
<v Speaker 2>sex scandal with Vince McMahon. That's the conclusion you want
<v Speaker 2>it to be and need it to be. And instead
<v Speaker 2>of looking at the evidence, which most people haven't. They
<v Speaker 2>just go what they want it to be or what
<v Speaker 2>they've heard in passing or one headline. Then you're just
<v Speaker 2>not doing your homework and you've already made the conclusion
<v Speaker 2>without the evidence. So I'm not absolving Brocklesner of all wrongdoing.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know all the evidence. But here's what I
<v Speaker 2>do know. I have common sense, and I'm leaving it
<v Speaker 2>to those in power in the company to make the
<v Speaker 2>decision to bring him back and not come to my
<v Speaker 2>own conclusion because we haven't seen all the evidence, and
<v Speaker 2>it's it's not really my concern to ho with you.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, how many professional sports stars from the NBA
<v Speaker 2>to the MLB to the NFL, for God's sakes, that
<v Speaker 2>is riddled riddled with sex scandals and all the rest
<v Speaker 2>of it. So I mean, ultimately, you know what the
<v Speaker 2>fans care about performance, The fans care about great matches.
<v Speaker 2>In this case, they care about star power, and there
<v Speaker 2>will forego all of that for having brock Lessner back,
<v Speaker 2>regardless of what they may think. And again, if you
<v Speaker 2>feel otherwise, then you feel otherwise, then you know there's
<v Speaker 2>nothing that facts can wash away your feelings. For I
<v Speaker 2>mean again, I know a lot of you are not
<v Speaker 2>happy he's back simply because of the previous legal trouble
<v Speaker 2>he was in. But that said, we've got a lot
<v Speaker 2>to talk about tonight or today as I'm recording this
<v Speaker 2>the morning after with brock lesseners in return the Cody
<v Speaker 2>Roads John Cena match. That was a hell of a
<v Speaker 2>lot better than the WrestleMania match. I have to say,
<v Speaker 2>a hell of a lot better. There were some bumps
<v Speaker 2>and some bumbles and fumbles on John Cena's end, and
<v Speaker 2>I have to say John Cena is the last person
<v Speaker 2>to make the Crossroads look good. He's the exact opposite
<v Speaker 2>body type you would want to have the Crossroads look good. Okay,
<v Speaker 2>because he's not super flexible, he's muscular as hell. Even
<v Speaker 2>in his heyday, he probably wouldn't have been able to
<v Speaker 2>make it look good. And the Crossroads is difficult to
<v Speaker 2>make look good to begin with. But can we just
<v Speaker 2>at this point remove the Crossroads as a finish maneuver.
<v Speaker 2>It's no longer a finishing maneuver when he kicks out
<v Speaker 2>of it four times and kicks out of it three
<v Speaker 2>times in a row. How much more can we go here?
<v Speaker 2>And yes, the AA historically has been kicked out of
<v Speaker 2>more than any finish in the history of finishes. So
<v Speaker 2>you have the weakest finish versus the weakest finish in
<v Speaker 2>a matchup that was otherwise pretty darn good. Having the
<v Speaker 2>pile driver getting pulled out of nowhere was certainly surprising.
<v Speaker 2>But it makes you wonder, Okay, if the move's banned,
<v Speaker 2>and the announcers even acknowledge the move's banned, well, then
<v Speaker 2>how does it still happening in a match? Validate or
<v Speaker 2>rather wash away the problem that the move is banned.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, you're still in WWE, you are competing under
<v Speaker 2>w w WE contract. This is still a match. Regardless
<v Speaker 2>of the fact that there are there's no disqualification, It's
<v Speaker 2>still a sanctioned match. Therefore, how does it absolve Cody
<v Speaker 2>from using the pile driver on Sena Albeit it was
<v Speaker 2>a very safe pile driver and I have no objections
<v Speaker 2>with it. Just you have Kevin Owens doing it to
<v Speaker 2>people for months, and every time he did it, apparently
<v Speaker 2>everyone got paralyzed. And then you know, John Cena gets
<v Speaker 2>pile driven, and then you have John c to get
<v Speaker 2>up two minutes later and he's fine. I mean, so
<v Speaker 2>a little bit of an incongruity there about the fact
<v Speaker 2>that the pile driver being used as banned and Wyatt's
<v Speaker 2>banned and Kevin Owen's using it, and then Cody uses
<v Speaker 2>it and it doesn't really have much effect on John Cena.
<v Speaker 2>So ultimately I don't have a huge issue with that.
<v Speaker 2>And having no Travis Scott was also a good thing.
<v Speaker 2>The bumps John Cena took throughout the match onto the
<v Speaker 2>security gate that he took, the steel steps that he
<v Speaker 2>threw at Cody Rhoades, and the table spots. My god,
<v Speaker 2>how many tables were destroyed? What was the table death count?
<v Speaker 2>What was the table death count last night? Like ten,
<v Speaker 2>Slim Jim got their money's worth, that's for damn sure.
<v Speaker 2>Slim Jim got their money's worth from WWE with their
<v Speaker 2>sponsorships of the slim Gym tables being used, for sure.
<v Speaker 2>So I'm sure Slimjim is excited to see and how
<v Speaker 2>much their tables were used last night. But we also
<v Speaker 2>got again a high quality match with the right finish
<v Speaker 2>despite this stupid amount of kickouts from finishes. I really
<v Speaker 2>don't know how much, by the way, how much further
<v Speaker 2>we can go with the kickouts and finishes. When four
<v Speaker 2>of them and three of them in a row doesn't
<v Speaker 2>do the trick, you may want to reconsider your finishing
<v Speaker 2>maneuver or just ooha. I don't know, reconsider the fact
<v Speaker 2>that finishers need to be re established as finishers, which
<v Speaker 2>has long passed my I mean, it's long since past
<v Speaker 2>that happening, and I don't know if we'll ever go
<v Speaker 2>back because apparently more kickouts of more finishes is better
<v Speaker 2>for some reason. I mean that said, a hell of
<v Speaker 2>a main event, one that by far transpired and trans
<v Speaker 2>transposed what's the word superseded? The WrestleMania Night two main
<v Speaker 2>event for sure with John Cena, Cody Roads, and Travis
<v Speaker 2>Scott that will forever be remembered as one of the
<v Speaker 2>worst main events of all time in WrestleMania. And Cody
<v Speaker 2>Rhods wins, Cody Roads wins, He's anointed by John Cena.
<v Speaker 2>No double heeled, no double down of the heel turn.
<v Speaker 2>It was just John Cena passing the torch. As Michael
<v Speaker 2>Cole mentioned, it was the passing of the torch that
<v Speaker 2>very much happened at WrestleMania twenty nine between The Rock
<v Speaker 2>and John Cena when John Cena lost to the Rock
<v Speaker 2>or either the Rock lost. No, yeah, the Rock lost
<v Speaker 2>to John Cena, I should say, and so very much
<v Speaker 2>a parallel here. But also it's interesting brock Lesnar returned
<v Speaker 2>the night after John Cena lo to the Rock the
<v Speaker 2>first time, and I think it was oursel many a
<v Speaker 2>twenty eight where he returned as twenty twelve when Brocklosner
<v Speaker 2>first came back after leaving for the for football and
<v Speaker 2>all the rest in UFC in two thousand and four.
<v Speaker 2>He comes back in twenty twelve. Who does he come
<v Speaker 2>back to John Cena? He comes back and attacks John
<v Speaker 2>Cena in twenty twelve very much kind of in the
<v Speaker 2>same way. And now thirteen years later, thirteen brock Lesner
<v Speaker 2>returns in a very similar fashion to attack John Cena
<v Speaker 2>with an F five. So we've been here before. I
<v Speaker 2>still don't like the Brocklesner hair. I know a lot
<v Speaker 2>of people do. I'm a big fan of just Brocklesner.
<v Speaker 2>Clean shaven and or even a beard is fine, but
<v Speaker 2>the hair is something that I haven't got used to
<v Speaker 2>since of my thing. I like the brock Lesner kind
<v Speaker 2>of buzz cut look. But Brocklesner is back. He fives.
<v Speaker 2>John Cena gets a massive reaction and people were cheering
<v Speaker 2>for John Cena all night. So it makes you wonder
<v Speaker 2>not that Cody's turning heel, I don't think, although we'll
<v Speaker 2>get into that, but rather who's going to be the
<v Speaker 2>baby face and heel in this Brock Lizener or John
<v Speaker 2>Cena matchup? Because people were really behind John Cena. It's
<v Speaker 2>the John Cena we all just need. I don't need
<v Speaker 2>a double turn, double down. I don't need any of that.
<v Speaker 2>I actually don't even need Cody roads turning heel at
<v Speaker 2>this point. I know that many many people expected a
<v Speaker 2>double turn. People were booing Cody a little bit there
<v Speaker 2>last night, which was fun to see. But the company
<v Speaker 2>needs a top babyface right now, and I don't know
<v Speaker 2>if Brockles is going to be that guy, or if
<v Speaker 2>John Cena is gonna co that co op that with
<v Speaker 2>Cody Rhodes, because Brockles are coming back. People love Brock,
<v Speaker 2>people want to see him destroy. But now you have
<v Speaker 2>John Cena, who's a babyface that people are finally getting
<v Speaker 2>behind and back to just back to baseline here with
<v Speaker 2>John for the next four months. And you have Brock
<v Speaker 2>who just returned I would imagine he's going to play
<v Speaker 2>the heel with the beloved John Cena now back, but
<v Speaker 2>I don't know. It's going to be interesting to see
<v Speaker 2>what they do and how much you want to bet
<v Speaker 2>you'll never get an explanation to to why Brock attack
<v Speaker 2>John Cena. That's just what we do. That's a Brock
<v Speaker 2>Lessner storyline. That's just a typical Brock storyline. He just
<v Speaker 2>attacks people and we don't get an explanation, and then
<v Speaker 2>we're just told, well, it's just Brock. He does what
<v Speaker 2>he wants, which of course is a cop out and
<v Speaker 2>lazy writing. That's all that is, and people just accept it.
<v Speaker 2>I don't I like to know what at least and
<v Speaker 2>have basic questions answered when I see things like this happen, Hey,
<v Speaker 2>why did you attack them? Just give me something. I
<v Speaker 2>don't need an A plus promo, Just give me a reason.
<v Speaker 2>And I don't want to hear what Broncklozer knows what
<v Speaker 2>he Broncloser wants to do. Lazy, that's lazy. I don't
<v Speaker 2>need to hear that. I love Brock as much as
<v Speaker 2>the next person does. Oh that's a fan of him anyway,
<v Speaker 2>And I don't need to hear that lazy storytelling. I
<v Speaker 2>just need a reason Brock's never gonna cut an A
<v Speaker 2>plus promo. I don't. I just need someone to tell
<v Speaker 2>me because he just does things and you don't know why,
<v Speaker 2>and they just like put these matchups out there, and
<v Speaker 2>it's so easy for the writers because they're like, well,
<v Speaker 2>we don't have to come up with anything creative and
<v Speaker 2>we'll just we chalk it up to bros. Brock effing lazy.
<v Speaker 2>So also, Michael Cole's call about holy s that was cool.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, I have to say, I mean hearing Michael
<v Speaker 2>Cole instead of saying oh my, he was actually said
<v Speaker 2>something that all of us are saying. He very much
<v Speaker 2>echoed a lot of the people at home. I'm sure
<v Speaker 2>millions of people sitting there going Holy Yes. Michael Cole
<v Speaker 2>said it on air, which was cool. I have to
<v Speaker 2>give them props for that. I very much appreciate the
<v Speaker 2>cussing there because it was warranted. So props to Michael Cole.
<v Speaker 2>And you know what, as I'm streaming through I'm looking
<v Speaker 2>through X as I'm talking right now, and there's a
<v Speaker 2>lot of people on X and other social media platforms
<v Speaker 2>that are really just up in arms about brock Lesner
<v Speaker 2>and quote unquot this is from someone on X. Michael
<v Speaker 2>Cole can go to hell. This is regarding Brock's return.
<v Speaker 2>Every single person celebrating this and who made this happen
<v Speaker 2>can go to hell. Brock Lesner's got a sex trafficking lawsuit?
<v Speaker 2>What is he doing here? Brock F brock Lessner F
<v Speaker 2>triple hfwwe I'm out, I'm done. Brock Lesner is still
<v Speaker 2>actively is actively still in the Jenel Grant lawsuit. Mind
<v Speaker 2>you all of this? Okay, there is just f Janel Grant.
<v Speaker 2>Now we know why they didn't do those postpress events
<v Speaker 2>conferences anymore known sexual predator. Brock Lesner just return on
<v Speaker 2>the second big show of the w W calendar. I
<v Speaker 2>mean it just it goes on and on. F everyone
<v Speaker 2>in the stadium who pop for him. This is your
<v Speaker 2>chance to grow backbone and boycott that company. My heart
<v Speaker 2>goes out for the women over there. Man, you know
<v Speaker 2>what I'd say to everybody, grow up? This is first
<v Speaker 2>of all, do you know more about the evidence in
<v Speaker 2>than anybody else? Again, I talked about this at the
<v Speaker 2>enny of the show, But go look on your ex
<v Speaker 2>I mean, maybe you feel the same way. How do
<v Speaker 2>you know more than everybody else? You don't you want
<v Speaker 2>it to be something so everybody in the stadium. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>these people that want to be victims by association, they
<v Speaker 2>just have this victim complex. They feel that, oh, all
<v Speaker 2>these women in w W. You know what, the women
<v Speaker 2>in w W are probably thinking, hey, whatever, you know what,
<v Speaker 2>more viewership, hire viewership, more money for me. If they're smart,
<v Speaker 2>they're thinking that. They're not thinking, oh, man, WWE just
<v Speaker 2>hired a sexual predator because you know what, again, even
<v Speaker 2>if even if brock Lesner was found guilty, Okay, how
<v Speaker 2>many people, how many men in the NFL active players
<v Speaker 2>were accused and convicted of some kind of sexual assault,
<v Speaker 2>domestic event, battering of women in the NFL. Yet we
<v Speaker 2>all excuse it and just going on whatever they're gonna,
<v Speaker 2>you know, they're gonna, they're gonna help my fantasy team
<v Speaker 2>this week. Who cares? But somehow this is unique to
<v Speaker 2>WWE fans Ultimately don't give a damn. It's the people
<v Speaker 2>that want to be victims that just have this need
<v Speaker 2>to be a victim to get attention, to grasp onto
<v Speaker 2>some kind of power, to start some kind of movement
<v Speaker 2>that they really don't believe in themselves. That's what it is,
<v Speaker 2>all right. I mean, I could go off the rails
<v Speaker 2>about this because it's larger than just WWE, larger than
<v Speaker 2>just the brock Lesnar event, much more. It's a reflection
<v Speaker 2>of the culture today unfortunately. But you know what, these
<v Speaker 2>people that are all complaining, I can guarantee you if
<v Speaker 2>we followed them around through the next month that they
<v Speaker 2>would still watch with ww DOES, they would still what
<v Speaker 2>rocks with brock Lesner is doing, they would watch his matches,
<v Speaker 2>they would still watch. The viewership here, you know what
<v Speaker 2>viewership is going to do, go up because even if
<v Speaker 2>brock Lesner is back and people are angry about it,
<v Speaker 2>Vince McMahon is very famous for saying, controversy or I'm sorry,
<v Speaker 2>Eric Bischoff, controversy creates cash, and it does. It still
<v Speaker 2>doesn't holds true now then and forever to pun WWE.
<v Speaker 2>It will never change. And they can bring back Brock
<v Speaker 2>and the people are going to respond to him and
<v Speaker 2>they're gonna watch. They're going to watch to see what
<v Speaker 2>he does because it's brock effing Lesner. So I don't
<v Speaker 2>want to hear all these imaginary victim groups come out
<v Speaker 2>and try to boycock ww good luck with that. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>you have fun with that. You have fun with your
<v Speaker 2>little social media, your little social media gang and your
<v Speaker 2>little mob that's gonna do absolutely nothing. I support brock
<v Speaker 2>Lesnar the professional wrestler. Just like when Hulk Hogan passed,
<v Speaker 2>We're all supposed to not care about his contributions to
<v Speaker 2>professional wrestling, which essentially is like as massive as any
<v Speaker 2>individual can be to an actual sports industry. Of Hulk Hogan,
<v Speaker 2>we're all supposed to just dismiss it because of his
<v Speaker 2>past comments that made some people's tummy hurt. All right, again,
<v Speaker 2>don't support the comments. Never just said it, never said
<v Speaker 2>I agree with it. I certainly don't agree with what
<v Speaker 2>he said. But his contributions to professional wrestling, whatever he
<v Speaker 2>said in twenty years ago, don't change what he did
<v Speaker 2>for professional wrestling at all. And I know people want
<v Speaker 2>it to and they want to revise history. Too bad,
<v Speaker 2>Too bad, too bad. All right, Let's get into a
<v Speaker 2>little bit more of summer slam here. Let's get into
<v Speaker 2>it here. I'm sure if people are already angry, come
<v Speaker 2>on with those racist comments. Barely people think I'm racist
<v Speaker 2>for some reason, I'm sure I'm a you know, I
<v Speaker 2>hate women or I'm racist. I'm sure those comments will follow,
<v Speaker 2>and that's fine. I really don't care so because if
<v Speaker 2>you've listened to me at all, you know certainly that
<v Speaker 2>that's not the case. But I don't need to defend
<v Speaker 2>myself to people that just want to be victims and
<v Speaker 2>want to try to tear people down and go for it. It
<v Speaker 2>doesn't bother me in the least. So anyway, I'm guessing
<v Speaker 2>some of you do agree with me though here, and
<v Speaker 2>it's those of you that I'm talking to. So we
<v Speaker 2>have Cole who's on commentary, gave us another weather report.
<v Speaker 2>He said it was eighty two degrees and there was
<v Speaker 2>a light breeze. So important point here again note keep
<v Speaker 2>take notes at home. I'm sure many of you are
<v Speaker 2>making sure that you understand the weather report from last
<v Speaker 2>night at Mett Life. So we have Alicia Taylor introduced
<v Speaker 2>Paul Levek, Triple H, who comes out and does his
<v Speaker 2>thing that he does for seemingly every every pl or
<v Speaker 2>every major one that they have. We have Triple H
<v Speaker 2>show up and just say nothing. It's almost just it's
<v Speaker 2>just self serving. I don't I like Triple H. I
<v Speaker 2>do despite all of his his flaws and the things
<v Speaker 2>that he's presented in the way he's responded to fans
<v Speaker 2>that are critical of the product, I still am just
<v Speaker 2>annoyed every time I hear him come out, because you know,
<v Speaker 2>it's just gonna be the same exact thing. It's rinse
<v Speaker 2>and repeat. You don't need to hear from Triple H
<v Speaker 2>because you know exactly what it's gonna be. He's gonna
<v Speaker 2>come out there, he's gonna come out to his music.
<v Speaker 2>He's gonna stand there for a few minutes and stare
<v Speaker 2>in the crowd and point at us and then ask
<v Speaker 2>us if we're ready, and then that's it. It's like, oh,
<v Speaker 2>welcome to It's like, okay, that's it. Why maybe he
<v Speaker 2>just still has the itch to be a performer, and
<v Speaker 2>I can totally understand that or be a wrestler. I
<v Speaker 2>get that, but I'm just I don't know. I don't
<v Speaker 2>need to say Triple H. I'd say this every time
<v Speaker 2>I see him because it's the same thing we've seen
<v Speaker 2>a dozen times in a row. But Triple H does
<v Speaker 2>come out, he does his thing, and we get Ria Ripley,
<v Speaker 2>Naomi and EO Sky for the Women's World Championship, and
<v Speaker 2>this match was very good sixteen minutes and twenty second
<v Speaker 2>with Naomi retaining as she should have. She is still
<v Speaker 2>getting her feet entrenched into being championed. There's no need
<v Speaker 2>to take it off of her. Rhea doesn't need the belt.
<v Speaker 2>Eo just lost it. There's just no need to make
<v Speaker 2>this a thing with the Women's World Championship. There needs
<v Speaker 2>to be some stability, and this was the right call
<v Speaker 2>with Naomi winning, and the way she won was Sky
<v Speaker 2>getting Ripley back inside the ring to set up for
<v Speaker 2>her finish. Ripley cut her off. They fought for position
<v Speaker 2>and eventually Rhea headbutted Eo and hit an avalanche riptide,
<v Speaker 2>and Naomi returned to the ring, rolled up Ripley and
<v Speaker 2>held the tights while getting the three counts, and Cole
<v Speaker 2>said Ria was Rhea Ripley is snake bitten as Ria Ripley,
<v Speaker 2>I don't believe it's ever won at SummerSlam, And uh yeah,
<v Speaker 2>So Naomi getting the victory the way she did, I
<v Speaker 2>think was the right call. The fans thought it was
<v Speaker 2>the right call too. They didn't boot Naomi there their
<v Speaker 2>supportive of her when she has found Since she's found herself,
<v Speaker 2>the fans, while they we've booted her at times, have
<v Speaker 2>really just been like, you know what, you found yourself.
<v Speaker 2>We can appreciate that you've been around here a long
<v Speaker 2>time and it's time to show a little respect despite
<v Speaker 2>the fact you're a heel. And so she has earned
<v Speaker 2>her stripes. Naomi winning is the absolute right call, all right. Again,
<v Speaker 2>a very good match by the way, too. I have
<v Speaker 2>no concerns about the quality of this match, with the
<v Speaker 2>the different spots, the razor's edge and a power bomb
<v Speaker 2>on Sky, the ring step spot with Ripley running her
<v Speaker 2>into the running Naomi into the ring steps, and then
<v Speaker 2>Sky hitting both women with a moon salt. It just
<v Speaker 2>it's exactly what you would have wanted with this matchup
<v Speaker 2>with these women. They could have gone a lot long,
<v Speaker 2>they could have gone another ten fifteen minutes, but I
<v Speaker 2>think this was a very strong match, all right. So
<v Speaker 2>then we have the Nick Well, we had Nick Hogan,
<v Speaker 2>Michelle McCool shown in the crowd, Tyrese Haliburton, NBA Star
<v Speaker 2>and Alicia Taylor introduced the Dudley Boys, and then Matt
<v Speaker 2>and Jeff Hardy as as the two teams who took
<v Speaker 2>part in the original TLC match. That was kind of
<v Speaker 2>cool and we had then the next match was the
<v Speaker 2>TLC match, which was Dexter Loomis and Joe Gasey versus
<v Speaker 2>Motor City Machine Guns versus The Street Profits versus DIY
<v Speaker 2>versus Fhraxium for the w Tag Team titles. This matchup
<v Speaker 2>was exactly what you'd expected to be a car crash
<v Speaker 2>in the best of ways. It was. I mean, it
<v Speaker 2>was just crazy. And think about the number of table
<v Speaker 2>spots these guys did. The number of bumps and bruises
<v Speaker 2>these men took were just unnecessary, and it shows their
<v Speaker 2>dedication and trying to make themselves a name, and it
<v Speaker 2>was it was as violent and poetic as you'd imagine. Nothing, well,
<v Speaker 2>I shouldn't say poetic. It was very much just about
<v Speaker 2>spots and high spots and you know, having close near calls. Right.
<v Speaker 2>Having Bubba Ray and Devon also there with the Hardy
<v Speaker 2>Boys did add a little bit of something as well.
<v Speaker 2>With the the ogs of this match with today's talent,
<v Speaker 2>that was kind of cool having them there, and it
<v Speaker 2>was good. It was really good this match when sixteen
<v Speaker 2>minutes the finish was Loomis and Gasey hitting their double
<v Speaker 2>team finish on Phoenix. Loomis stood guard while Gasey climbed
<v Speaker 2>the ladder and pulled the belts down, and it was
<v Speaker 2>just there's almost too much to absorb. And that's the
<v Speaker 2>nature of this kind of match, where there's just so
<v Speaker 2>much going on that you need to take a breath
<v Speaker 2>and try to digest exactly what is happening. And this
<v Speaker 2>was good. I mean, we had Uncle Howdy crashing onto
<v Speaker 2>a ladder bridge, We had at one point six wrestlers
<v Speaker 2>on two ladders, somebody trying, you know, somebody you think
<v Speaker 2>is gonna grab the belt. Uncle Howdy tips over the
<v Speaker 2>first ladder, he tips over the second, which sent Garganawan
<v Speaker 2>Champa crashing through the stacked sponsored tables and Fraser raced
<v Speaker 2>up the ladder. How do you then apply the mandible
<v Speaker 2>claw and then let Fraser fall off and Rode did
<v Speaker 2>a sunset bomb that sent Howdy crashing. It was just
<v Speaker 2>it was it was a lot, and the right team
<v Speaker 2>I think did win. If you're going to get anything
<v Speaker 2>behind this essentially bray Wyatt tribute group, you're going to
<v Speaker 2>have to keep the belts on them for as much
<v Speaker 2>as they pay attention to the tag team divisions on
<v Speaker 2>either of the men or the women. You know, it
<v Speaker 2>is what it is there. But the right team won. Okay,
<v Speaker 2>we had Becky Lynch and Lyra in a no DQ
<v Speaker 2>no no count out match for the women's Intercontinental Championship.
<v Speaker 2>And remember the stipulation was that if Lyra loses, she
<v Speaker 2>can never ever challenge Becky Lynch again for the Intercontinental Championship.
<v Speaker 2>And that is a good thing. We had this match go.
<v Speaker 2>I mean just too long, just too long. It was
<v Speaker 2>twenty five minutes. It was just too long. But these
<v Speaker 2>two certainly brought it when it comes to effort. The
<v Speaker 2>crowd wasn't super into this as expected. I mean, we've
<v Speaker 2>seen these two go at it for the last several
<v Speaker 2>months and this is definitely the last time that they well,
<v Speaker 2>they'll be working together for the foreseeable future. But I
<v Speaker 2>have to say the right person one again in this
<v Speaker 2>In this matchup, the finish was Lynch pulling herself to
<v Speaker 2>her feet to use a table. Valkyria flew back into
<v Speaker 2>the picture and leg dropped Lynch through the table. Back
<v Speaker 2>in the ring, Lynch slipped out of a night wing attempt,
<v Speaker 2>but Valkyria took her down with an arm drag. Lynch
<v Speaker 2>stood up near the ropes. Bailey stood on the apron
<v Speaker 2>and swung it Lynch, who ducked, causing Bailey to accidentally
<v Speaker 2>hit Valkyria, and then Lynch hit a man handle slam
<v Speaker 2>and got the victory. The match, again was long, but
<v Speaker 2>it was it was very good from a technical perspective
<v Speaker 2>and from a pacing perspective. When given enough time, the
<v Speaker 2>match pacing slows down, and I'm a big fan of that.
<v Speaker 2>I think we were all just burned out of this
<v Speaker 2>program from the start, so it felt extra long. But
<v Speaker 2>you can't discount the effort and pacing of this match
<v Speaker 2>from a storytelling perspective, from an effort perspective, and from
<v Speaker 2>an execution perspective, I think all these women, including Bailey,
<v Speaker 2>hit hit their spots perfectly, and Lynch getting the victory
<v Speaker 2>to retain the Intercontinental Championship was the right call. Now,
<v Speaker 2>is this a Bailey versus Valkyria matchup heading up next? Probably? Probably?
<v Speaker 1>All?
<v Speaker 2>Right, Then we get Solo so co versus Jacob Fatu
<v Speaker 2>in a cage match for the United States Championship. This
<v Speaker 2>match went twelve minutes and forty seconds, with Solo beating
<v Speaker 2>Fatu to retain the US Championship again. If you heard
<v Speaker 2>my prediction and elders, we had been alluding to this
<v Speaker 2>being a very much championship retention ple and outside of
<v Speaker 2>the top two belts, that's what we got now. The
<v Speaker 2>finish was Mateo unlocking the cage door. Fatu freed himself
<v Speaker 2>somehow and then from the handcuffs and then stopped Solo
<v Speaker 2>from leaving. Cole said he had no idea how Fatu
<v Speaker 2>got loose. Neither do we. Solo tried to escape again,
<v Speaker 2>Fatu stopped him, but this time Talis swung the cage
<v Speaker 2>door at Fatu's head. Solo escaped through the cage door
<v Speaker 2>to win the match. Afterward, Jimmy superkicked Mateo and threw
<v Speaker 2>him inside the ring with Fatu and Loa. Fatu went
<v Speaker 2>to the top of the cage while Mateo and Loa
<v Speaker 2>were standing in the ring, and then Jacob Fatu performed
<v Speaker 2>a moon salt on both men. Yeah, I mean this
<v Speaker 2>particular analysis says this is quote. Cage matches are a joke.
<v Speaker 2>The original concept was that no one would get in
<v Speaker 2>or out. For some in the creative forces in pro wrestling,
<v Speaker 2>seem to take it as a challenge to find new
<v Speaker 2>and not so exciting ways to have wrestlers interfere during
<v Speaker 2>almost every cage match. It happens so frequently that I
<v Speaker 2>stop looking forward to cage matches a long time ago.
<v Speaker 2>And don't even get me started on the silliness of
<v Speaker 2>Fatu breaking the handcuffs. Well, of course, yeah, I mean,
<v Speaker 2>I can't disagree with any of this analysis here, it's
<v Speaker 2>just it's ridiculous. Cage matches have become the complete inverse
<v Speaker 2>of the original intent cage matches inherently now while on
<v Speaker 2>the surface we're told it's to keep competitors out and
<v Speaker 2>keep the competitor and keep the competitors in and interference out,
<v Speaker 2>when in fact it does the complete opposite for every
<v Speaker 2>single cage match, and the fact that you can walk
<v Speaker 2>through the door is absolutely ridiculous. That actually softens the
<v Speaker 2>cage match to like childish levels, meaning all you have
<v Speaker 2>to do in a regular match, you have to beat
<v Speaker 2>down your opponents so brutally that you essentially knock them
<v Speaker 2>out right because you have to pin their should to
<v Speaker 2>the mat for a three count or of course knockout
<v Speaker 2>or submission, just a regular standard matchup is more brutal
<v Speaker 2>than a cage match, because in a cage match you're
<v Speaker 2>allowed to just walk through a door. It has become
<v Speaker 2>a joke. Cage matches have become a complete joke, all right,
<v Speaker 2>But nonetheless, Solo Sokoa beating Jacobatu to retain the US
<v Speaker 2>Championship is still the right call. I think it was
<v Speaker 2>Dominic Mysterio versus Aj Styles for the Intercontinental Championship. This
<v Speaker 2>one entertained me more than I thought it would, despite
<v Speaker 2>the fact that it was a little bit short. Dom does
<v Speaker 2>retain the Icy title here in just a great finish
<v Speaker 2>with Stiles catching Dom and a calf crusher, and the
<v Speaker 2>idea was that Dom's boot would come off to free him,
<v Speaker 2>but Styles had to pull it off. Stiles lunged at Dom,
<v Speaker 2>who ducked, and the referee ducked between the ropes to
<v Speaker 2>avoid Styles. Dom hit Styles with the belt while the
<v Speaker 2>referee was distracted, and then Dom followed up with a
<v Speaker 2>frog splash and got the three count. So Dominic ends
<v Speaker 2>up beating Aj in ten minutes and forty five seconds.
<v Speaker 2>After the match, they showed highlights of Dom loosening his boot.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, we've seen this before. This is a Eddie
<v Speaker 2>Guerrero esque finish. And there's been no wrestler since they've
<v Speaker 2>passed that has been still more attached to the audience
<v Speaker 2>than Eddie Guerrero. And we've seen a lot of wrestlers
<v Speaker 2>pass a lot, most recently the biggest name in pro wrestling,
<v Speaker 2>Hulk Cogan. Right, we've seen my God, We've seen Chris
<v Speaker 2>Benwa for obvious reasons. You know, people kind of forget that.
<v Speaker 2>We've seen Roddy Piper, We've seen Andre, we've seen me
<v Speaker 2>and Jean, not a wrestler, but still. So you know,
<v Speaker 2>my point is that despite the fact that Eddie Guerrero
<v Speaker 2>Guerrero passed twenty years ago it'll be twenty years this year,
<v Speaker 2>he continues to be a force in matches on an
<v Speaker 2>almost regular basis. It shows you the connection that fans
<v Speaker 2>had and the wrestlers had with him. So a great
<v Speaker 2>finish here with Dom and the chair as well, the
<v Speaker 2>chair spot that Dom tried to make look like AJ
<v Speaker 2>hit him, but then AJ put the chair over his
<v Speaker 2>head to make it look like Dom was trying to
<v Speaker 2>break his neck. It was a very clever, very very
<v Speaker 2>well done finish, and the right person one and you
<v Speaker 2>know what, you listen to the crowd there, and listen
<v Speaker 2>to the crowd. The crowd was cheering for Dom. The
<v Speaker 2>crowd is just tired of booing Dom, and they've learned
<v Speaker 2>to love him. I know that that's not in the
<v Speaker 2>plans right now, or maybe it is, but it's happening regardless.
<v Speaker 2>So I think it's something that they need to keep
<v Speaker 2>an eye on if they if the plan is to
<v Speaker 2>eventually turn Dom, well, it may be happening already. It
<v Speaker 2>has been happening since WrestleMania. But yeah, I mean, I
<v Speaker 2>know a lot of people are looking for aj here
<v Speaker 2>to eventually have another run with the mid card title.
<v Speaker 2>We're not there yet. I think we'll get there. I
<v Speaker 2>think that at some point we will see aj Styles,
<v Speaker 2>maybe very briefly, back in the main event picture, and
<v Speaker 2>then he'll be I think, granted a somewhat lengthy mid
<v Speaker 2>card title run with maybe the US or Intercontinental title.
<v Speaker 2>I think it's deserving. He's deserving, no doubt about it.
<v Speaker 1>All Right, so.
<v Speaker 2>Let's continue here. We've got then, Stephanie McMahon, I don't
<v Speaker 2>know why. I mean, it's just there's no need for it.
<v Speaker 2>I don't mind Steph. But I don't need to see her.
<v Speaker 2>I just again, I don't. She just stood in the ring.
<v Speaker 2>It's pointless. There's no purpose of this. The only purpose
<v Speaker 2>this serves is a self serving purpose, because no one
<v Speaker 2>else really is dying to see triple A tri Steph.
<v Speaker 2>Fans aren't asking for it. It just seems to happen
<v Speaker 2>on a regular basis. So Stephanie comes in and announces
<v Speaker 2>the attendance sixty thousand in change and mentioned the two
<v Speaker 2>night attendance at one hundred and thirteen thousand, making it
<v Speaker 2>the biggest Summer Slam in history, and then the Pyro
<v Speaker 2>shoots off and it's very much a pat themselves on
<v Speaker 2>the back moment. Fine, you know, okay, sure, all right?
<v Speaker 2>So then we had Cody Rhodes and John Cena for
<v Speaker 2>the w W Championship, and as I mentioned, both men
<v Speaker 2>busted their ass in this match. It was an absolute
<v Speaker 2>joy to watch these two at this level. Specifically John
<v Speaker 2>scene to, despite his limitations to be able to perform
<v Speaker 2>at that level, bring back the old John Cena. No
<v Speaker 2>more fooling around. Just give us the John Cena of old.
<v Speaker 2>We can appreciate the heel turn and actually as as
<v Speaker 2>much as a flub as that heel turn was, and
<v Speaker 2>it was, it just didn't work. It wasn't a disaster,
<v Speaker 2>but it just it just didn't work for a number
<v Speaker 2>of reasons that I'll break down, you know, in future episodes.
<v Speaker 2>But it didn't work and we got the John Cena old.
<v Speaker 2>But my point is, had that heel turn not happened,
<v Speaker 2>I don't think we'd appreciate the version of John Cena
<v Speaker 2>we have now because had he not turned, and we
<v Speaker 2>just got this version of Sina all the time, but
<v Speaker 2>we would have wondered, oh man, what would that heel
<v Speaker 2>turn of look like? Ah man, what would that have
<v Speaker 2>looked like? Wouldn't that be a fun little time if
<v Speaker 2>we had had John Cena heel That just sucks. He
<v Speaker 2>never got to see it. Well, we did, we did.
<v Speaker 2>It wasn't great, It wasn't executed great. The Rock was
<v Speaker 2>a massive missed up. You know. While the Rock didn't
<v Speaker 2>appear on this pl and there's rumors he was going
<v Speaker 2>to and he didn't, and that's fine, But had he
<v Speaker 2>stuck around, even on an occasional basis, to see this
<v Speaker 2>storyline through with the with John Cena and have them
<v Speaker 2>be a power duo. The Rock doesn't even need to wrestle.
<v Speaker 2>He could just deliver a rock bottom here and there
<v Speaker 2>be the completely power hungry TKO board member and grant
<v Speaker 2>John Cena whatever he wanted, and you know, give some
<v Speaker 2>explanation as to why John Cena sold his soul. That
<v Speaker 2>would have been I think a much more successful heel
<v Speaker 2>turn for John Cena, because we you talk about taking
<v Speaker 2>the heart and soul out of the reason for John
<v Speaker 2>Cena turning out of the story. Right from the get go,
<v Speaker 2>it got off on a bad foot, I mean, because
<v Speaker 2>the Rock just disappeared. So the Rock his absence is
<v Speaker 2>largely to blame for the flub of a heel turn
<v Speaker 2>for John Cena. Not all, but a large portion of
<v Speaker 2>it was because of the Rock's absence, because of he's
<v Speaker 2>the catalyst for this whole thing. And then he just
<v Speaker 2>removes himself and says, well, it's not about me. Well, no,
<v Speaker 2>actually it is because John Cena did this at your direction.
<v Speaker 2>Remember the Rock did the signal you know, around the neck,
<v Speaker 2>and then John Cena's infamous face changed and then he
<v Speaker 2>kicked you Cody Rhoads in the nuts. Well, then what
<v Speaker 2>happened there? How did that happen. Why did he just
<v Speaker 2>take direction from the rock? Why And the fact that
<v Speaker 2>was never explained, I think is a big, big, big
<v Speaker 2>reason for the John Cena heel turn. Ultimately, as we
<v Speaker 2>look back, it's going to be just kind of a
<v Speaker 2>womp womp, and but hey, at least we got it. Okay,
<v Speaker 2>we got it. It may not have been perfect, not
<v Speaker 2>even close, but now we get the John Cena that
<v Speaker 2>we all know and love. Johnsena pulled out a Canadian
<v Speaker 2>destroyer in this match again, the pile driver, as I
<v Speaker 2>mentioned at the beginning of the show, a move that
<v Speaker 2>is banned, yet Cody did it again in WWE Underwe's
<v Speaker 2>umbrella whatever. And the fact that there was no you know,
<v Speaker 2>Johnsene is fine, he can walk around fine, It's just
<v Speaker 2>it's all just gotta you gotta remove logic from this
<v Speaker 2>match on a big way. But they kicked each other's asses,
<v Speaker 2>fighting through the crowd, taking the bumps on the stage,
<v Speaker 2>the AA on the stage, John Cena coming up through
<v Speaker 2>Cody's entrance on the elevator, that that look that he
<v Speaker 2>had on his face was great. The hug at the
<v Speaker 2>beginning of the match. You could see the emotion at
<v Speaker 2>the end of the match, after Cody and John Cena
<v Speaker 2>embraced and you could, you know, you wonder what was said,
<v Speaker 2>But all I could read was Cody saying thank you
<v Speaker 2>for everything, and that's all I saw. But who knows
<v Speaker 2>what was actually said? True, true, true, passing of the
<v Speaker 2>torch with Cody Rhodes and John Cena the final time
<v Speaker 2>that they'll ever meet. But now we have the last
<v Speaker 2>four months to just have fun with John. You don't
<v Speaker 2>have to worry about the championship. We're back to just
<v Speaker 2>good old John Cena for the next four months. Just
<v Speaker 2>a great move by w W the only move that
<v Speaker 2>could really make and it was the right one. And
<v Speaker 2>now you have brock lesnar presumably at class at Paris,
<v Speaker 2>and then from there, you know, you do wonder where
<v Speaker 2>John's gonna go. He has some people out there that
<v Speaker 2>if they're able to get Edge, I mean, I know
<v Speaker 2>some people said, no, his contract is up this year.
<v Speaker 2>Can anybody confirm? Does anybody actually know what Adam Copeland's
<v Speaker 2>aw contract is? Because to me, he should be the
<v Speaker 2>final opponent for John Cena, come hell or high water,
<v Speaker 2>it should be Edge. That's who I would want. But
<v Speaker 2>when you look at this you have some other opponents
<v Speaker 2>out there. You know, you do have well I was
<v Speaker 2>gonna say Randy Orton, but they've kind of gone through that.
<v Speaker 2>You have brock Lows, and you have also some new talent.
<v Speaker 2>And maybe he works with bron Breaker, you know, maybe
<v Speaker 2>he works with bron Breaker, Maybe he works with Seth Rollins,
<v Speaker 2>you know, some outside guys here. It's possible. Maybe he
<v Speaker 2>works with some new talent that we're not thinking of
<v Speaker 2>to help some new guys on the way out the door.
<v Speaker 2>But we don't have to worry about it anymore now.
<v Speaker 2>It's just kind of you can relax and enjoy John
<v Speaker 2>Cena for what he was the last twenty year plus
<v Speaker 2>years and the best version of him with the running
<v Speaker 2>to the ring and all the rest and the original
<v Speaker 2>entrants and no more frowns, and it's just the best
<v Speaker 2>version that we're going to see. And I hope they
<v Speaker 2>continue this and don't try to do something crazy the
<v Speaker 2>last four months. Just play it out and let us
<v Speaker 2>enjoy it because there's no reason to do anything long
<v Speaker 2>term because he's not here long term. He's here for
<v Speaker 2>another four months and then he's bye bye. So this
<v Speaker 2>matchup again was just awesome from what it was, and
<v Speaker 2>yes it was thirty minutes, but it was just it
<v Speaker 2>was great, a great effort by both men. And yes,
<v Speaker 2>by the way, the Cody cutter another move that John
<v Speaker 2>Cida could use a little work on selling, but hey,
<v Speaker 2>he's nearly fifty or is fifty years old? What can
<v Speaker 2>I say? And then the brock Lesner return that's got
<v Speaker 2>everyone talking about this whole deal, whole summer Slam, and
<v Speaker 2>I've already outlined the importance of that and who he
<v Speaker 2>could work with, which is really unlimited, and it's what's
<v Speaker 2>going to be really interesting. As I mentioned at the
<v Speaker 2>beginning of the show, is brock can work with Gunther
<v Speaker 2>and build him up to WrestleMania, which we all wanted
<v Speaker 2>last year. And Gunner needs some work to get there.
<v Speaker 2>Repair his you know, his mystique, his aura, his feeling
<v Speaker 2>of unbeatableness is gone, and you're gonna need that if
<v Speaker 2>you want to make it feel like this is the
<v Speaker 2>biggest match possible with brock Lesner. But as I said,
<v Speaker 2>the moment I also everyone is looking forward to is
<v Speaker 2>his moment with brock Lessner. The Brocklesner and Paul Hayman,
<v Speaker 2>what's that interaction like, what about CM Punk and brock Lesner,
<v Speaker 2>What about Cmpunk as I said at the beginning, and
<v Speaker 2>brock Lesner and Roman reigns, maybe they bringing back Curtis
<v Speaker 2>Axel too for a you know, a quite of a
<v Speaker 2>quad group of former Hayman clients. I mean, there's there's
<v Speaker 2>certainly some fun to be had here with Roman and
<v Speaker 2>Brock and Punk and now Seth as the latest victim.
<v Speaker 2>As I'd probably more accurately say, with Paul Hayman as
<v Speaker 2>his oracle, where does that leave everybody? That's a hell
<v Speaker 2>of a dynamic one that they may say for WrestleMania
<v Speaker 2>or it could happen as soon as Survivor series. But
<v Speaker 2>right now, the short term is Brock and John Cena,
<v Speaker 2>which is an interesting dynamic, as I've said, because who's
<v Speaker 2>the heel who's the face in this? I would imagine
<v Speaker 2>seen as is the baby face because he's leaving. But
<v Speaker 2>brock Lesner's back. He's hot as odd as Elp and
<v Speaker 2>there's certainly a lot of ways to go, so should
<v Speaker 2>be a fun ride over the next several weeks. You know, again,
<v Speaker 2>I do not expect brock Lesner to be there more
<v Speaker 2>than once a month for TV. He might do an
<v Speaker 2>interview that could put some video packages together. It is
<v Speaker 2>going to be very much the typical Brock Lesner schedule
<v Speaker 2>that we've seen with Roman and others in John Cena
<v Speaker 2>most recently. Expect that kind of schedule for Brock Lessner
<v Speaker 2>and you know, moving forward. So I'm trying to see
<v Speaker 2>if there's any of the other news here. Let's see here.
<v Speaker 2>I don't I don't know if there's any other big
<v Speaker 2>news here, big update on the John Cena. So this
<v Speaker 2>is according to Wrestling Inc. Just one thing here while
<v Speaker 2>we're on John Cena and this is let's see here.
<v Speaker 2>Quote on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer and Brian Alvarez
<v Speaker 2>a Seena's face turn as well as Lesner's return. They said,
<v Speaker 2>quote they dropped Seena's heel story because it sucked, but
<v Speaker 2>also because the John Brock program, which is obviously what
<v Speaker 2>they're doing, does work better with Brock as the heel.
<v Speaker 2>Alvarez also expressed how Sina seems to wrestle better as
<v Speaker 2>a baby face than a heel and suggest that this
<v Speaker 2>could be why they had to turn it before the match. Well,
<v Speaker 2>I mean, I don't know about that. I mean that
<v Speaker 2>he only works better as a baby face because that's
<v Speaker 2>what he's done for ninety nine percent of his career.
<v Speaker 2>And Brock and John, I just all I'm asking for
<v Speaker 2>is the basics here with with Brock Lesner. Just give
<v Speaker 2>me a why. Provide the why. I know Brock doesn't
<v Speaker 2>have a mouthpiece anymore, he doesn't need one, he doesn't
<v Speaker 2>need he can just give us who I mean, just
