<v Speaker 1>It's Sunday night, and that means it's time for the <v Speaker 1>week in review on this twenty sixth day of October <v Speaker 1>twenty twenty five, about to just blast through the month <v Speaker 1>of October, Halloween, then the next thing, you know, Thanksgiving <v Speaker 1>and Christmas will be here before you know it. This <v Speaker 1>is when things really start to rocket, especially if you <v Speaker 1>are into sports and look at the NFL or anything else. <v Speaker 2>When you're looking at. <v Speaker 1>Week seven, we gate bam, Week ten, here come the <v Speaker 1>divisional playoffs and then you're off to the races. But <v Speaker 1>as wrestling fans, we have a Saturday Night main event <v Speaker 1>to get through. Then we have a massive one of <v Speaker 1>the big four ples coming our way at the end <v Speaker 1>of November for Survivor Series war Games. That always the <v Speaker 1>match itself always is really what kind of sells the <v Speaker 1>pl these days, and we've got certainly a lot of <v Speaker 1>time about a month to look forward to that. But <v Speaker 1>more immediately, we have Saturday Night's main event that comes <v Speaker 1>to us in six nights from Salt Lake City. We <v Speaker 1>have a big ple. I know that it's say that <v Speaker 1>it's a pl E light and it really is, but <v Speaker 1>this one may have the biggest, most stacked card that <v Speaker 1>I've seen in a while. We have a world Championship <v Speaker 1>match that's going to guarantee a new world champion in <v Speaker 1>Siampunk and Jay Uso barring some wacky finish that allows <v Speaker 1>neither man to become champion, which is also possible. I'm <v Speaker 1>a little bit leaning towards Jay, and if you want <v Speaker 1>my full review and prediction show that's coming to you <v Speaker 1>later this week, probably sometime Wednesday Thursday time frame. I <v Speaker 1>mean it could come Friday, but I'd like to do <v Speaker 1>it a little bit sooner, so we will see. But <v Speaker 1>before we get anything started, I have to give some <v Speaker 1>shoutouts to some brand new patrons and they are Blind Star, Wayne, Wayne, <v Speaker 1>Are I have let's see here, David Mills and let's see. Oh, <v Speaker 1>I got more Carter, Carter m Nano Dinero, and I <v Speaker 1>think that's it over the last week. So let me reiterate, <v Speaker 1>David Mills say, I can pronounce your last name, Wayne <v Speaker 1>Ryan Hart. There you go, and we have also I <v Speaker 1>just clicked out of it. Oh, blind Star as well <v Speaker 1>as Carter Carter mccaden. Thank you all of you for <v Speaker 1>joining us over at Patreon. If you'd like to join <v Speaker 1>them and everyone else, head on over Patreon dot com <v Speaker 1>Slash's WWE podcast because it gets you at bare minimum <v Speaker 1>everything ad free, join the job or tier for seven <v Speaker 1>days for free. And if you like us, stick around. <v Speaker 1>And if you don't stick around anyway, all right, let's <v Speaker 1>jump into it. Let's get into SmackDown specifically, because there's <v Speaker 1>a lot to talk about here, big heel turn we <v Speaker 1>also have and I'm just gonna actually address this up <v Speaker 1>front before I forget this mystery man. This in WW <v Speaker 1>put out two quick fifteen second promos over the last <v Speaker 1>day or two of this mystery man. And yeah, I <v Speaker 1>think it's it's a man. If it's a woman, then <v Speaker 1>I mean I got us. <v Speaker 2>I guess. <v Speaker 1>But there's this These couple of videos of just a <v Speaker 1>pair of feet in dress, black dress, shoes walking can't <v Speaker 1>really decide for anything else. It's just a person walking <v Speaker 1>from the ankles down, and you get no other information <v Speaker 1>leading to us to believe that someone is returning. And <v Speaker 1>there are two top guys that people are pointing to <v Speaker 1>that make a lot of sense, and we could see <v Speaker 1>this pair of feet lead all the way into survivisories <v Speaker 1>if we wanted to. I guess, But those two men <v Speaker 1>are gunther which certainly is possible. He last I did <v Speaker 1>check and hear from the news sites that he is <v Speaker 1>close to returning. And Gunther would be a big, big return, <v Speaker 1>no doubt. And you do wonder if Gunther returns, what <v Speaker 1>side of the aisle is he gonna be on. He <v Speaker 1>could easily slide over to the babyface side easily, So <v Speaker 1>maybe they go that road. <v Speaker 2>Maybe they don't. <v Speaker 1>It feels like they're turning everybody heal these days, so <v Speaker 1>you gotta have a babyface on some side. And if <v Speaker 1>Jay's about to turn, you got to balance it down somehow. <v Speaker 1>On the other side of the coin. You have another <v Speaker 1>top choice of Chris Jericho. Chris Jericho has been rumored <v Speaker 1>to come back for a long time now from AW <v Speaker 1>coming back to WWE. Jericho could certainly also fit the bill. Honestly, <v Speaker 1>either man would be big news. It would be big <v Speaker 1>news for either man. Gun Through you can slide right <v Speaker 1>back into the world title picture. He does have a <v Speaker 1>beef with Jay. Perhaps he is the reason that Jay <v Speaker 1>doesn't win. I mean, I don't know, uh, just speculating, <v Speaker 1>speculating at this point. And if Chris Jericho is the <v Speaker 1>guy to be revealed, well, who does he work with. <v Speaker 1>I mean that that something I actually haven't really thought about. <v Speaker 1>But as far as just the reveal of who it is, <v Speaker 1>Gunther and or Chris Jericho seemed to be the top two. <v Speaker 1>Some people are making some memes that it's Vince McMahon, <v Speaker 1>which would be ridiculous but hilarious, and to be quite <v Speaker 1>frank with you, if Vince McMahon ever were to come back, <v Speaker 1>I would not I would. I mean I would, I <v Speaker 1>would encourage that, I'd invite it. <v Speaker 2>Not that I. <v Speaker 1>Agree with Vince McMahon's personal decisions. You don't need to <v Speaker 1>agree with anyone's personal decisions to want to see them <v Speaker 1>on TV. Since when is that a qualifier? And when <v Speaker 1>do you decide which person goes where based on their <v Speaker 1>own moral personal decisions. You don't make that statement for <v Speaker 1>any other entertainment platform, whether it's TV or professional sports. <v Speaker 1>Suddenly WWE is the only one held to that standard. <v Speaker 1>Oh what are they doing? They can't bring that person <v Speaker 1>back that who gives a damn? <v Speaker 2>You know? <v Speaker 1>But some people feel like they have the say, they <v Speaker 1>have the authority decide, based on that person's questionable decisions, <v Speaker 1>whether or not that person should be hired by the company. However, <v Speaker 1>I'm going off the rails Vince McMahon if he were <v Speaker 1>ever to come back, and I don't know if that'll <v Speaker 1>ever happen, even in a cameo appearance, I would think, <v Speaker 1>can you imagine the ratings? Could you imagine the social <v Speaker 1>media explosion? You thought brock Lesner was crazy, You thought <v Speaker 1>Edge returning in twenty twenty was crazy at the Royal Rumble, <v Speaker 1>You thought seem Punk returning at Survivor Series twenty twenty <v Speaker 1>three was crazy. All of those crazy in their own right. <v Speaker 1>I don't think there would be one to be as <v Speaker 1>crazy of a return reaction than Vince McMahon to walk <v Speaker 1>down the aisle. <v Speaker 2>Again. <v Speaker 1>I'm not predicting it. This is way out of left field. <v Speaker 1>But if I were TKO and I am, and they <v Speaker 1>seem to be extremely focused on money, money, money, money, <v Speaker 1>bring back the owner of the company, and you know what, <v Speaker 1>do it before he's dead. The guy is you know, old, <v Speaker 1>Now he's old. There's no other way to put it. <v Speaker 1>He can dye his hair whatever color he wants. He <v Speaker 1>can he can dye his eyebrows whatever color he wants. <v Speaker 1>He can try to dress up in whatever fancy custom <v Speaker 1>suit he wants, however much it's worth. His age is <v Speaker 1>his age is his age, and math says, despite the <v Speaker 1>fact that Vince McMahon did defeat God and a tag <v Speaker 1>team Madge, once God ultimately wins the war and Vince <v Speaker 1>McMahon ain't going to be around forever, it's a ridiculous <v Speaker 1>I know that it's a ridiculous proposition to a lot <v Speaker 1>of people, but could you imagine the discussion, the ratings, <v Speaker 1>the news coverage. I'm serious. There may not be a <v Speaker 1>bigger returning star that has ever come back than Vince McMahon. <v Speaker 1>That's a hell of a high bar. Think of all <v Speaker 1>the returns that have ever happened in the world. I mean, <v Speaker 1>the Rock coming back how many times throughout the decades, <v Speaker 1>Paul Houlgrim returning to ww in two thousand and two. <v Speaker 1>There's been some insane returns, Rock Lesner coming to WWE <v Speaker 1>in twenty twelve after taking a seven or eight year hiatus, <v Speaker 1>Stone Cold coming back out of retirement, and all the <v Speaker 1>all the moments he's given us since he retired. No. Three, <v Speaker 1>There's been a lot, and I think it would be <v Speaker 1>right out there with the news worthy explosion of Vince <v Speaker 1>McMahon returning. And yes, now we have social media and <v Speaker 1>of course information today is sent at a pace that <v Speaker 1>in two thousand and three we never could have imagined. <v Speaker 2>Right, we know that. <v Speaker 1>But anyway, I'm going off the rails as I do. <v Speaker 1>But just a little food for thought before Vince is dead, <v Speaker 1>and since we have this mystery man that's being teased <v Speaker 1>now to return. No, I don't think it's Vince, but <v Speaker 1>it got my wheels turning also of hey, what if <v Speaker 1>what if Vince McMahon were to just come back? Why <v Speaker 1>would that be bad for business? They'd get all the <v Speaker 1>people yelling and screaming him and pretending to be offended <v Speaker 1>and saying how they're done watching w W, which is <v Speaker 1>of course nonsense, and they would get a massive spike <v Speaker 1>in ratings. I'm not saying bring him back long term, <v Speaker 1>bring it back into WrestleMania, bring it back in a <v Speaker 1>big spot to do just something he doesn't. I'm not <v Speaker 1>asking he for him for even to take a bump, <v Speaker 1>just to come back and declare something, or be general <v Speaker 1>manager for a night, or just take control of the <v Speaker 1>company for twenty four hours, or somebody gets to appoint <v Speaker 1>their own GM for you know what I mean? Something <v Speaker 1>crazy like that, that's short term to bring Vince back. <v Speaker 1>I know a lot of people out there listen to <v Speaker 1>my voice hate Vince. <v Speaker 2>They hate him. <v Speaker 1>What are you doing? He ruined wrestling. The fact of <v Speaker 1>the matter is you and I are listening to this <v Speaker 1>and are watching wrestling because of Vince McMahon. So regardless <v Speaker 1>of what do you think about him personally, and there's <v Speaker 1>a lot of people who have done great things professionally <v Speaker 1>that have done horrible things personally. This is not exclusive <v Speaker 1>to Vince McMahon, although people like to put it is, <v Speaker 1>but it doesn't erase his incredible, incredible achievements taking wrestling worldwide, <v Speaker 1>going national first of all, bringing wrestling into the mainstream. <v Speaker 1>And despite what you think of him, he really proposing <v Speaker 1>Vince to come back. <v Speaker 2>You know what. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, crazier things have been done bringing people back that <v Speaker 1>probably shouldn't have been brought back with the things that <v Speaker 1>they have done. And said Kane Velasquez, Hey remember him. <v Speaker 1>I know he wasn't NWW long and he challenged Brock, <v Speaker 1>But all the things he's been accused of, Okay, hell, <v Speaker 1>Austin was accused of domestic violence, he was even I <v Speaker 1>think he was a he actually served. <v Speaker 2>Did he serve time? <v Speaker 1>I'd have to look at what Austin senten was in <v Speaker 1>the mid two thousands. It wasn't good for Austin. Austin <v Speaker 1>is doesn't have a clean record either. I mean you <v Speaker 1>go down the line and yeah, what Vince did, if true, <v Speaker 1>is bad. I don't I'm not looking at his personal record. <v Speaker 2>I don't care. <v Speaker 1>Yes, I just spent the first ten minutes talking about <v Speaker 1>Vince McMahon, which did not I did not plan on that. <v Speaker 1>So let's dive in. Let's go to SmackDown something that <v Speaker 1>did happen. But let me know your thoughts on who <v Speaker 1>you think this mystery person is if it's not revealed <v Speaker 1>before the time that you know you. <v Speaker 2>Listen to this sub. <v Speaker 1>We had Cody Rhoads and Jimmy Ussel speaking backstage. Jimmy <v Speaker 1>told Cody he appreciated what Cody did for Jacob, and <v Speaker 1>Jimmy said he was going to talk to SmackDown GM <v Speaker 1>nick all this about what happened at FA two, and <v Speaker 1>Cody asked how things were between Jimmy and his brother Jay. <v Speaker 1>Jimmy said Cody saw what Jay did to him during <v Speaker 1>raw and ask Cody how he would feel and Cody <v Speaker 1>Rhoades said he has a brother in the game and <v Speaker 1>gets it. Both men said they intend to speak with <v Speaker 1>all this, and Cody Rhoads comes out and he stood <v Speaker 1>in the ring because uh, and he said they should <v Speaker 1>talk about Drew mcatyre and he mctyre hitting hitting mctyre <v Speaker 1>with a championship, and Cody wondered if he needed to <v Speaker 1>apologize for doing so, and mctyre appeared in the crowd <v Speaker 1>and said he didn't need Cody's apologize apologies, and mcatyre <v Speaker 1>walked the ringside and called out the fans for booing <v Speaker 1>him and cheering Cody. <v Speaker 2>Which is exactly right, it's backwards. <v Speaker 1>But McIntyre stood on the broadcast table and said the <v Speaker 1>fans are complicit in Cody's crime and the fans are <v Speaker 1>brainwashed by Cody's corporate propaganda, and said he's been screwed <v Speaker 1>so many times that has become about him finishing the <v Speaker 1>story and said he would do that next week at <v Speaker 1>Saturday Night's main event, which is very true and hot <v Speaker 1>start from Drew, who just continues to be so consistently good. Now, <v Speaker 1>how's this Cody and Drew program been steady and consistent <v Speaker 1>and fun and kind of here and there. This has <v Speaker 1>been kind of an inconsistent program with Cody and Drew, <v Speaker 1>a little bit of a broken one. Not bad, just <v Speaker 1>kind of all over. It feels like it doesn't have <v Speaker 1>a direction and like it's again it's fractured. It's like <v Speaker 1>a fractured program that I can't I know who's fighting, <v Speaker 1>but I'm trying to figure out why. And yes, they're <v Speaker 1>going to be fighting for the championship at Saturday night's <v Speaker 1>main event. And there is a chance that Drew does win, <v Speaker 1>certainly a chance more than an average chance, I think, <v Speaker 1>So we'll see, but okay. McIntyre then talked about who <v Speaker 1>attacked Jacob Fatou. Mcatyre said that he hates that family <v Speaker 1>and well, he said that he claimed he's innocent. Essentially, <v Speaker 1>this write up is just the words they wrote don't <v Speaker 1>make sense. So he claimed his innocence and said he <v Speaker 1>saw Cody talking to Jimmy and speculated that maybe Jimmy <v Speaker 1>was responsible for attacking FA two. Cody cut off mctyre <v Speaker 1>and said he was clearly looking for a fight, and <v Speaker 1>McIntyre got down from the table. Jay Uso hopped off <v Speaker 1>the barricade to attack McIntyre and and that's a lot <v Speaker 1>of pull apart and jumping and all that kind of stuff. <v Speaker 1>And yeah, so Cody cutting off Drew because Drew is <v Speaker 1>not the one who attacked Fatu. <v Speaker 2>That would be boring. <v Speaker 1>Also, it would be inconsistent with Drew's character of just <v Speaker 1>being a truth telling heel. And I think Drew is <v Speaker 1>certainly innocent of this. It's not Drew's style, it doesn't <v Speaker 1>fit his character. It's either Jay or Cody that attacked him. <v Speaker 1>One of them attacked Fatu, and I think, I mean, <v Speaker 1>it could have been Jay. I hope it's Cody that <v Speaker 1>lead this whole thing leads to a heel turn. But <v Speaker 1>it's Jay or Cody barn On. It can't be Jimmy. Jimmy, <v Speaker 1>as as Drew appropriately put in his promo, Jimmy is <v Speaker 1>the black sheep. He's the one that everyone forgets about. <v Speaker 1>He's the one that's always a bride's by, never a bride. Yes, <v Speaker 1>Drew is saying that the quiet part out loud. It's true. <v Speaker 1>That's what makes this great. That's what makes it great <v Speaker 1>with Drew. I know that he doesn't have the most <v Speaker 1>fun demeanor and all that, but when you look at <v Speaker 1>this objectively, if you didn't see the people, you just <v Speaker 1>saw on paper what they were saying, you'd actually kind <v Speaker 1>of side with Drew. <v Speaker 2>I mean, I think there. <v Speaker 1>Would be a much more of a a portion of <v Speaker 1>the audience that if you just looked at this on <v Speaker 1>paper and didn't know who the people were, couldn't put <v Speaker 1>a face to it, didn't watch them on video, you <v Speaker 1>probably side with Drew. He tells the truth. So we <v Speaker 1>have then shinz Kan Nakamara and Ray Phoenix and I'm <v Speaker 1>sorry Tomatanga and Jace Matteo taking on shins Ka Nakamura <v Speaker 1>and Ray Phoenix again. Still really good to see Chinsky <v Speaker 1>in the ring. I know that he's not what he <v Speaker 1>once was, and he's also looking at retirement along with <v Speaker 1>aj Styles And you know what, this probably also gets <v Speaker 1>Seth's gears turning about retirement as well. I'm not saying <v Speaker 1>he said anything about it. I'm not predicting he's retiring <v Speaker 1>or trying to start rumors, but based on an interview <v Speaker 1>he did with Chris van Vliet just earlier this year <v Speaker 1>about him talking about how much time he feels like <v Speaker 1>he has left, and he said he feels like he <v Speaker 1>has a couple good years left in him, especially with <v Speaker 1>the schedule now being reduced, live events essentially being eliminated <v Speaker 1>that are non televised. He feels like, you know, the <v Speaker 1>wear and tear in his body really being reduced. He's <v Speaker 1>able to stretch it out longer. But every time he <v Speaker 1>gets injured, you know, of course you're thinking about that. <v Speaker 1>You're thinking about, oh, man, I have to go through <v Speaker 1>recovery again and myself back in a ring shape again. <v Speaker 1>It's got to be just horrible. You know, Seth knows <v Speaker 1>that he doesn't have much time left. Then you're thinking, <v Speaker 1>you get this massive injury, you're getting older. You know, <v Speaker 1>the company is really looking beyond you, which is why <v Speaker 1>they're having you form a group really to create your <v Speaker 1>own predis in Brown Breaker, in Bronson Reid. So they're <v Speaker 1>almost having you dig your own grave. And I don't <v Speaker 1>mean that in a morbid way. I'm saying that this <v Speaker 1>is just the way the business is. I'm not faulting <v Speaker 1>TKO or WW. But they're looking past Seth that I <v Speaker 1>would be for the future. Seth is still he's the president, <v Speaker 1>but he's not the future. Seth does I think also <v Speaker 1>have a couple of years left in him. <v Speaker 2>That are good. <v Speaker 1>If I was to absolutely just make a drop dead proclamation, <v Speaker 1>and this is just as of right now, of this <v Speaker 1>very moment, that of course could change and I'm probably <v Speaker 1>gonna be proven wrong, and that's fine. If I was <v Speaker 1>to guess one Seth would retire, I'd say three to <v Speaker 1>four years. I'd say that's probably it for Seth. <v Speaker 2>After that. <v Speaker 1>Probably in well is it twenty twenty five, I would <v Speaker 1>say twenty twenty eight twenty twenty nine is when we <v Speaker 1>would see Seth retire. That's just my guess. But I <v Speaker 1>could be wrong. So of course I don't think even <v Speaker 1>Seth knows, so to predict that is kind of difficult. <v Speaker 1>So this match with Tomatonga and Jacon Matteo taking on <v Speaker 1>Shinske and Phoenix went twelve minutes, with Tomatonga and Jase <v Speaker 1>Matteo beating them. The finish was Tama hitting Phoenix with <v Speaker 1>a hidden blade, which Cole said, Tama calls the cutthroat. <v Speaker 2>And looks bad. <v Speaker 1>It's not a good move Toama covered Phoenix and got <v Speaker 1>the three count. <v Speaker 2>I mean it's it's fine. <v Speaker 1>I mean you had Talatanga hit the choke slam on <v Speaker 1>Phoenix on the apron. That looked good. You had solo <v Speaker 1>out there. It doesn't hurt or help anybody. I mean, <v Speaker 1>I shouldn't say that it helps. The mft's just continue <v Speaker 1>the momentum. I mean, it's just what it does. It <v Speaker 1>doesn't really position anybody in a different place than they <v Speaker 1>did prior to the match. It's just a matter of <v Speaker 1>who gets the momentum. It's a momentum shifter. And that's <v Speaker 1>all this is. With the MFTs getting the victory here, <v Speaker 1>so we have let's see some backstage stuff with Julia <v Speaker 1>on the phone. She was approched by Chelsea Green and <v Speaker 1>Alba Fire. I'm gonna kind of skip that, but we <v Speaker 1>did get Women's champion Tiffty Stratton taking on Keana James <v Speaker 1>with Julia in a non title match. The match went <v Speaker 1>ten minutes with Tiffany Stratton beating Keana James again in <v Speaker 1>a non title match. After the match, though, we did <v Speaker 1>have Julia attack Stratton from behind and then Julia blasts <v Speaker 1>at Stratton with the knee strike. Jade Cargill made her entrance, <v Speaker 1>cleared Julia from the ring before knocking James off the apron. <v Speaker 1>She Jade then looked down at Stratton and offered her <v Speaker 1>a hand. Stratton accepted. Jade raised Stratton's arm, teased leaving, <v Speaker 1>but then turned around and close lined Stratton. He'll turn <v Speaker 1>so I'll know that move WWE made off of cable <v Speaker 1>television onto Netflix for Monday Night Raw and now to <v Speaker 1>ESPN for pls. Well, you can unlock more content without <v Speaker 1>having to pay for multiple subscriptions. How you may ask, Well, <v Speaker 1>remember that little piece of advice Stephanie McMahon inadvertently gave <v Speaker 1>to the WWE fans. It's called a VPN. If you're <v Speaker 1>not sure what that is, it's a virtual private network. <v Speaker 1>What will this do for you? Well, it can help <v Speaker 1>you unlock access to the content library of a different region. <v Speaker 1>For example, some United States based fans use a VPN <v Speaker 1>to access the more comprehensive library that's on the Netflix <v Speaker 1>UK to avoid paying the multiple services like I said, <v Speaker 1>for Peacock and ESPN. So what service specifically we're talking <v Speaker 1>about here, that's surf Shark, today's sponsor of this episode, <v Speaker 1>surf Shark VPN. So the VPN, the virtual private network, <v Speaker 1>means you can change your virtual location with just a <v Speaker 1>if you clicks, it masks your true IP address. It <v Speaker 1>makes you appear that you're anywhere in the world, and <v Speaker 1>for example, you can set it to Canada and boom, <v Speaker 1>you unlock the Canadian Netflix library, which includes all of <v Speaker 1>that awesome ww programming commercial free, I might add, and <v Speaker 1>while you're there you can also check out other shows <v Speaker 1>exclusive to Canadian Netflix. So kind of a win win, <v Speaker 1>And of course all of the classic benefits of a <v Speaker 1>VPN that are there at your disposal too, meaning enhance <v Speaker 1>security while surfing the web, data privacy, fewer pop ups, <v Speaker 1>and even some of surf Sharks specific services such as <v Speaker 1>surf Shark Alert and surf Shark Antivirus. Even better, you <v Speaker 1>guys can try surf Shark risk free thanks to their <v Speaker 1>thirty day money back guarantee. <v Speaker 2>And here's the best deal. <v Speaker 1>Go to surfshark dot com slash wwe pod and you'll <v Speaker 1>get four months extra when you sign up for a <v Speaker 1>two year plan and enter the code wwepod. Again that <v Speaker 1>surfshark dot Com slash wwepod to get an x four <v Speaker 1>months on a two year plan. No need to write <v Speaker 1>it down. My link and code are in the show <v Speaker 1>description and by using my code, of course, you do <v Speaker 1>help support this podcast. A huge thanks to serve Shark <v Speaker 1>for sponsoring today's episode, So welcome back out. We got <v Speaker 1>a heel turn for Jade. We get a heel turn <v Speaker 1>for Jade. Crowd was into it, more into it than <v Speaker 1>probably her babyface character. I mean, they didn't go crazy, <v Speaker 1>but I think this could unlock Jade. It could take <v Speaker 1>the chains and restrictions off of her because, as I mentioned, <v Speaker 1>and as I have many wrestlers I've mentioned, this isn't secrets. <v Speaker 1>Being a heel allows you to be much more free. Yes, <v Speaker 1>you may not might make as much in merch, but <v Speaker 1>you get to kind of do whatever the hell you <v Speaker 1>want on TV, of course within reason, right. In other words, <v Speaker 1>you don't have to worry about eliciting that specific reaction <v Speaker 1>of people cheering for you. You're allowed to kind of do <v Speaker 1>what you need to do to make people hate you. <v Speaker 1>And a lot of people fall into that very easily. Jade, <v Speaker 1>I think, falls into that very nicely. I don't know <v Speaker 1>why they try to position as a babyface from the beginning. <v Speaker 1>You can't have a woman like that looking like that <v Speaker 1>the way she does, a total freak of nature having <v Speaker 1>her in there as the constant, overwhelming favorite because of <v Speaker 1>her physique and having the fans cheer for that, because <v Speaker 1>it's hard to relate to somebody like that. Ninety nine <v Speaker 1>point ninety percent of us listening look nothing like Jade. <v Speaker 1>We certainly don't man or woman. Most of us are <v Speaker 1>not anywhere near the shape that Jade is in. And <v Speaker 1>that's a credit to her. But it's hard to relate <v Speaker 1>to somebody like that. On top of as I've said <v Speaker 1>many many times, you are putting a character forth that <v Speaker 1>we know nothing about other than her physical appearance, and <v Speaker 1>that she relied very heavily on that wore thin because <v Speaker 1>there was nothing else to her other than her telling us, <v Speaker 1>look at me, look at me. If you haven't looked <v Speaker 1>at me, look at me, look at me. Oh did <v Speaker 1>you know that I look good? Did you know that <v Speaker 1>I look at my Oh? Hey hey hey hey, now <v Speaker 1>look at me. That's how she pretty much operated. Tell <v Speaker 1>me one thing about Jade character wise that you now <v Speaker 1>know about her that you didn't know the moment she <v Speaker 1>walked in the company. Can you even make one or <v Speaker 1>two items on the list? Can you name just two? <v Speaker 1>What do you know about her? Character wise? Not physically? <v Speaker 1>She has improved in the ring, and I credit her <v Speaker 1>for that, as well, but can anyone name just two <v Speaker 1>things two? <v Speaker 2>I might even put it down to one. <v Speaker 1>Character traits that we I know about her now that <v Speaker 1>we didn't know about her when she first walked in. <v Speaker 2>I can't. I cannot. <v Speaker 1>That's a failure on the part of w WE and <v Speaker 1>Jade because they never allowed us to see her, to <v Speaker 1>hear her talk. It was always interrupted within thirty seconds <v Speaker 1>or less. Her sit down interviews even were interrupted quickly. <v Speaker 1>So this could really unleash Jade. She could just kind <v Speaker 1>of not worry about things and just worry about the <v Speaker 1>crowd of hating her, because I think that's the way <v Speaker 1>that people have been kind of tipping anyway. So I'm <v Speaker 1>excited for this. I hope they let her go on <v Speaker 1>the The MIC is where she needs to thrive. That's <v Speaker 1>where she needs the most help. She's needed that from <v Speaker 1>day one, so we'll see. I'm on board for this. <v Speaker 1>She also attacked Stratton's knee, which was nice. The look <v Speaker 1>is also cool. The silver hair, the kind of the <v Speaker 1>cut off top, and all the rest. She plays the <v Speaker 1>part well much better than I think the other one did. <v Speaker 2>All right, so. <v Speaker 1>Let's continue backstage. Sammy congratulated Draggon off for beating him <v Speaker 1>to win the US Championship, and dragon Off spoke about <v Speaker 1>how much he respects Zayane. He admired Sammy for the <v Speaker 1>open challenges and indicated he would continue to grant them. <v Speaker 1>Zain said they're no joke and then built up dragon Off, <v Speaker 1>who had outed out for his open challenge. Backstage, Kathy <v Speaker 1>Kelly did interview Jade, who said the world doesn't replace <v Speaker 1>I'm sorry, doesn't reward patients, It rewards power. She said <v Speaker 1>she's taking it starting with the women's championship. <v Speaker 2>Again. <v Speaker 1>I forgot that she actually did speak here, but doesn't <v Speaker 1>really didn't do a ton here, but she did say <v Speaker 1>that the world doesn't reward patients, it rewards power. Again, short, sweet, <v Speaker 1>one two sentences. They gotta have her do like just <v Speaker 1>a few minutes, just a few minutes, asking for a <v Speaker 1>fifteen minute monologue. But okay, she did tell us what <v Speaker 1>she's targeting, and she's saying, basically, she's tired of waiting. <v Speaker 1>I'm just going to use my power to get what <v Speaker 1>i want. Ok Okay, that's something. I'll say, that's something. <v Speaker 1>And the bar's low here, so fine, so we get <v Speaker 1>then Alistair Black making his entrance and it was him <v Speaker 1>taking on draggon Off for the United States Championship. The <v Speaker 1>match went fifteen minutes and forty seconds with dragging Off <v Speaker 1>beating Alistair Black. Now the referee saw Vega interfering and <v Speaker 1>ejected her rather than the DQ that he easily could <v Speaker 1>have done. Ejected Zelena from the ring from ringside. By <v Speaker 1>the way, I love their entrance. Vega and Black are <v Speaker 1>peanut butter and jelly. I love their their aura, their presence. <v Speaker 1>They are two missing pieces put together. And I know <v Speaker 1>that they're actually married with certainly helps and I'm sure <v Speaker 1>that this certainly helps actually in their relationship. To be <v Speaker 1>together even if they're married, To be together on the <v Speaker 1>road instead of being gone one hundred and fifty days <v Speaker 1>a year, certainly a good thing. And if you can <v Speaker 1>match that chemistry on camera, which doesn't always happen, that's <v Speaker 1>a double bonus. <v Speaker 2>So good for these two. I hope this continues. <v Speaker 1>But Damian Priest made his entrance wearing sunglasses, and Priests <v Speaker 1>removed them and you saw the quote unquote burns left <v Speaker 1>by the fireball. Dragonof had a distracted Black with a <v Speaker 1>torpedo Moscow and got the victory. After the match Priest <v Speaker 1>attacked Black and placed him on the broadcast table with <v Speaker 1>a chair under his head, and Priest picked up another chair. <v Speaker 1>But Zelena Vega jumps on the back of Priest and <v Speaker 1>gouged his bad eye, and Black and Vega hopped the. <v Speaker 2>Barricade and made their exit. So I like this. <v Speaker 1>Actually, I know that a lot of people don't like <v Speaker 1>this distraction finish and dragging off in Black getting the <v Speaker 1>distraction finish. It's a way to cover Black. But also <v Speaker 1>you know, it allows Dragon Off to look smart, to <v Speaker 1>take advantage of his opponent being distracted, which you should. <v Speaker 2>You should. <v Speaker 1>The makeup, by the way that was used on the <v Speaker 1>quote unquote burn for Damian Priest started to come off <v Speaker 1>at the end. You could see like his burn from <v Speaker 1>when he first appeared to his quote unquote burn when <v Speaker 1>he left. You know, some of the makeup was worn off. <v Speaker 1>It's not a complaint, just an observation. But I like <v Speaker 1>this because you didn't get to pay off. You have <v Speaker 1>Zelena save Black from what Black certainly deserves, which is <v Speaker 1>a chair to the skull. You have them run through <v Speaker 1>the crowd, you get you have priests get a small, <v Speaker 1>small taste of revenge, but not what you wanted with <v Speaker 1>the big payoff of again, like I said, the violent Act, <v Speaker 1>which makes you want to see the violent Act because <v Speaker 1>Alistair Black is deserving of it. I think this is <v Speaker 1>a nice little bit of an underrated, underappreciated program right now. <v Speaker 1>There's not a lot of depth to it, but it's simple. <v Speaker 1>Sometimes simple is good, especially for us simple minded people. <v Speaker 1>I'm talking about myself. Yes, alrighty we had then Uh, <v Speaker 1>let's see Kathy Kelly interviewing Carmelo Hayes and asked what <v Speaker 1>caused the tension between him and Miss and Hayes says <v Speaker 1>he wasn't going to talk or was only gonna bearate Miss. <v Speaker 1>He said he's grateful for what he taught him, but <v Speaker 1>things changed when Miz put his hands on him, and <v Speaker 1>Hayes said he was going to let it slide, but <v Speaker 1>he said they were even as far as far as <v Speaker 1>he was concerned, and he felt the support from the <v Speaker 1>fans and was going to focus on being him, you <v Speaker 1>know whatever. So I mean, I I got nothing to <v Speaker 1>say about Carmelo right now because I don't know what <v Speaker 1>he is. He attacks the Miz from behind and was <v Speaker 1>last week, which is one percent of He'll move he saw, Oh, <v Speaker 1>I guess we're even uh and we're done. Thanks for <v Speaker 1>the support, and I mean what they can't find a <v Speaker 1>direction for Carmelo. I feel like he's also just treading water. <v Speaker 1>But maybe this was my own personal insight there. All right, <v Speaker 1>we have more interviews with Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss. Again, <v Speaker 1>I'm not covering every single backstage. There's a lot of <v Speaker 1>backstage stuff on the show, so let's continue here. Nie <v Speaker 1>jack shows up and said Flair and Bliss were pretending <v Speaker 1>to be besties, but she was waiting to see one <v Speaker 1>of them stab the other in the back. And Flair <v Speaker 1>said she used to be like Jacks, but then she <v Speaker 1>learned about healthy relationships, and Jackson said she was in <v Speaker 1>a friendship with someone she learned from the best, saying, <v Speaker 1>Bliss will hug you with one arm and stab you <v Speaker 1>in the back with the other. Bliss said that if <v Speaker 1>Jaxon is looking for the old her, she's not hard <v Speaker 1>to find. Bliss and Jack's set up a match against <v Speaker 1>one another for next week. Nice little callback there to <v Speaker 1>Alexa Bliss and Nia Jackx. <v Speaker 2>If you remember. <v Speaker 1>Frontends and purposes, you know, with Alexa being a heel <v Speaker 1>in that program many years ago. <v Speaker 2>It might have been three, four years ago, it was <v Speaker 2>a while ago. <v Speaker 1>Alexa Bliss essentially called nia Jack's fat in the backstage <v Speaker 1>footage if you remember that segment specifically, but she was <v Speaker 1>making fun of Nia Jacks's weight, I mean in Alexible's <v Speaker 1>playing the heel. So I'm glad they kind of made <v Speaker 1>a callback to that of them using to be or <v Speaker 1>used to be friends of sorts. Okay, We then get <v Speaker 1>Drew mcatire versus Jimmy USO in a no DQ match <v Speaker 1>twelve and a half minutes, with Drew beating Jimmy USSO <v Speaker 1>with the Claymore and getting the three count. After the match, <v Speaker 1>mctyre jabbed the chair in the throat of Jimmy, and <v Speaker 1>Cody Rhodes comes out, you know, in his he had <v Speaker 1>his windbreaker, his name teen ninety eight win breaker on, <v Speaker 1>so that that was good. He checked on Jimmy McIntyre <v Speaker 1>returned to the ring, put Cody down with the clay More, <v Speaker 1>and McIntyre knelt over Cody and spoke to him to <v Speaker 1>end the show. So this had to happen with Drew <v Speaker 1>beating Jimmy. I mean, how could it not, because you <v Speaker 1>have him in a title match against Cody at Saturday <v Speaker 1>Nights main event. There's no world in which Jimmy could <v Speaker 1>have won that match none. So McIntyre winning was a <v Speaker 1>sure thing. And like I said, I really do believes <v Speaker 1>there's a there's a real chance that Cody drops the <v Speaker 1>belt here and say it's gonna happen. I said, there's <v Speaker 1>a more than average chance. We'll talk more about that <v Speaker 1>in the preview show later this week. So I think <v Speaker 1>overall was a good show, not one that many of <v Speaker 1>us will have crazy long memories of. I mean, anytime <v Speaker 1>there's a heel turn, that's always fun because you can <v Speaker 1>say you were there for a heel turn. The heel <v Speaker 1>turns are always more exciting than Babyface turns because He'll <v Speaker 1>turns happen in a like a moment. Sometimes Babyface turns <v Speaker 1>happen slowly, organically, and the fans just decide this is <v Speaker 1>who they're gonna get behind. Heel turns happen suddenly, there's <v Speaker 1>that sudden shift. That's what I think makes heel turns <v Speaker 1>so impactful, so much more memorable than Babyface turns. It again, <v Speaker 1>not always, but many times happens slowly over time. Fans <v Speaker 1>can see it coming. They're often the ones, like I said, <v Speaker 1>that choose it. And there's also a strong sense of <v Speaker 1>betrayal when you have somebody who you loved, thought they <v Speaker 1>were on your side, have them turn on you, and <v Speaker 1>when you can feel that take you take it personally, <v Speaker 1>that's when they know they've really got you. I mean, <v Speaker 1>that doesn't happen too often, but the feeling of betrayal <v Speaker 1>is a very strong emotion, very strong action and corresponding emotion. <v Speaker 2>Should say. <v Speaker 1>So, all right, let's talk a little bit about Monday <v Speaker 1>Night Raw. Not it's going to go crazy here, but <v Speaker 1>do you want to cover it? <v Speaker 2>Just very briefly. <v Speaker 1>We had the World Championship be taken, the belt itself <v Speaker 1>be taken by Adam Pierce. There was some tension there <v Speaker 1>to open Raw, if you remember. And we had Finn <v Speaker 1>Balor and JD McDonough take on aj Styles and Dragon <v Speaker 1>Lee for the World Tag Team titles, with aj Lee <v Speaker 1>and Dragonly beating Finn and JD to win the World <v Speaker 1>Tag Team titles. Really good match. And I had a <v Speaker 1>feeling that this would happen because Finn and JD have <v Speaker 1>done essentially nothing with their world titles. Hasn't been really <v Speaker 1>talked about. It's been cut off of a lot of <v Speaker 1>I've seen some of the highlights of Dobe B it's <v Speaker 1>not really been a focal point, to say the very least. <v Speaker 1>And when they do that for a long period of <v Speaker 1>time and then all of a sudden that team is <v Speaker 1>defending their titles out of nowhere is a very clear <v Speaker 1>and very consistent and accurate sign that they're probably going <v Speaker 1>to drop the belt or belts. So really good match <v Speaker 1>here with AJ and Dragonly. Good to see those two champions, <v Speaker 1>you know, for the first time in a long time, <v Speaker 1>specifically AJ Styles. I don't know as Dragon le he <v Speaker 1>might have been a US champion I have to see, <v Speaker 1>but AJ Styles. It feels like it's been way too <v Speaker 1>long for AJ holding a WWE championship of sorts, and <v Speaker 1>this is really fun to see. I hope that these <v Speaker 1>two maintain a lengthy title reign and that means like <v Speaker 1>three months or more. <v Speaker 2>We'll see, but I like it all right. <v Speaker 1>We had then Dominic take on Russev for the Intercontinental title. <v Speaker 1>Dominic beats Russev in nine and a half minutes after <v Speaker 1>we had dom kicked Russev between the legs. Well, it's <v Speaker 1>really a kick on the ass, but it's supposed to <v Speaker 1>be between the legs, and he followed up with a <v Speaker 1>six one nine. Fans are really starting to get behind Dom, <v Speaker 1>as I mentioned on the Raw Review earlier than last week, <v Speaker 1>and that is gonna be if this is gonna be <v Speaker 1>a fun ride with Dom. I have said this before, <v Speaker 1>I'll say it again. Fans are ready, They're ready to <v Speaker 1>embrace him. We're not going to screw around, try to <v Speaker 1>double down, triple down, triple turn, triple swerve into another swerve, <v Speaker 1>into a swerve, and it's just stopped the nonsense. Just <v Speaker 1>let it be. Let it be with Dom, because the <v Speaker 1>fans are telling you they're ready, and I think Dom <v Speaker 1>is ready as well. Fans want to see Dom retain. <v Speaker 1>When is the last time you were able to say that. Okay, <v Speaker 1>WrestleMania was the unofficial start of his baby face turn. <v Speaker 1>The fans were really behind him at WrestleMania, but from <v Speaker 1>the time that they WWE Machine has been seemingly now <v Speaker 1>behind this decision to turn him face. I think that <v Speaker 1>this is maybe the first time we're able to say <v Speaker 1>the fans want to see Dom retain. It's a good <v Speaker 1>thing and the Eddie Guerrero spirit living through Dom is <v Speaker 1>what makes it so fun. And yes, now there's a <v Speaker 1>level of respect for Dom because he's been around a while. <v Speaker 1>Fans have boot him for literally years out of buildings. <v Speaker 1>It's time and when Live Morgan comes back, can you <v Speaker 1>imagine when Live Morgan comes back, what does she do <v Speaker 1>with Dom? Hopefully get right back with him. There's gonna <v Speaker 1>be a massive reaction for Live Morgan when she returns. <v Speaker 1>So we then had another feel good story here Becky <v Speaker 1>lynching Maxine do pre for the Women's inter Continental title. <v Speaker 1>Now you knew that there wasn't really going to be <v Speaker 1>a chance at least in this particular match for Maxine <v Speaker 1>to capture the Intercontinental Championship. And by the way, the <v Speaker 1>match went about ten minutes, but it was by DQ <v Speaker 1>because Becky hit purposefully Maxine with the Intercontinental title belt <v Speaker 1>and Maxine won by DQ. So no title transmission took <v Speaker 1>place and the field. That story of Maxine continues as well. <v Speaker 1>Her in ring continues to progress. Her mic skills kind of, <v Speaker 1>I mean they're okay. I mean she does need some <v Speaker 1>improvement there as well. I'm not gonna pretend she doesn't. <v Speaker 1>She needs some character development beyond the feel good you know, <v Speaker 1>kind of underdog like grassroots movement support for Maxine. It'll <v Speaker 1>drive her to a pretty high place, but not where <v Speaker 1>they want it to go. <v Speaker 2>So she needs to. <v Speaker 1>Improve and continue to improve on the mic that all said. <v Speaker 1>They can really start to ride that wave right now <v Speaker 1>because the fans are behind Maxine. She's feel good. She <v Speaker 1>is someone that's improving in front of her eyes. She's <v Speaker 1>putting in the work. Fans respect that. So I think <v Speaker 1>the next time that these two meet, Becky Lynch and Maxine, <v Speaker 1>I would say, also, there's a fifty to fifty shot <v Speaker 1>that Maxine comes away the belt whenever that may be. <v Speaker 2>Okay. <v Speaker 1>Some video packages of the Kabooki Warriors again, a lot <v Speaker 1>more stuff here. If you want a detailed review of <v Speaker 1>Monday net ro, go to my Monday Night Raw review. <v Speaker 1>Of course that was put out on Tuesday. So then <v Speaker 1>we had the fourth match of the night was Stephanievcaire <v Speaker 1>and Roxane Perez and a non title match. The match <v Speaker 1>went actually I don't have the timestamp, but we had <v Speaker 1>Stephanevicaire beat Roxanne Perez and it was because of Angel <v Speaker 1>Wings for the victory. Rodriguez attacked thecare after the match <v Speaker 1>and Nicki Bella comes out to make the save and <v Speaker 1>Nicki put Perez down, but Rodriguez caught her with a <v Speaker 1>big boot that looked I said this on Monday or <v Speaker 1>on Tuesday, but I'll say it again. That boot Rodriguez <v Speaker 1>delivered was brutal and looked great. So I didn't mean <v Speaker 1>that as a slight that looked great. I meant brutal <v Speaker 1>in a good way. Vicaire went for the springboard move <v Speaker 1>and slipped on the ropes. That did not look good, <v Speaker 1>and Vicaire come up holding her knee and ve Karen <v Speaker 1>Bella cleared the heels from the ring. Haven't heard anything <v Speaker 1>of injury wise versus with Faker, which is good news. <v Speaker 1>It was certainly a slip. It did look bad, and <v Speaker 1>I'm glad she's okay. That's really all that just to <v Speaker 1>say about that. So we have, let's see the fifth <v Speaker 1>match of the night that we all know, which is <v Speaker 1>a Battle Royal for a spot in the match for <v Speaker 1>the vacant World Heavyweight Championship. No bronze breaker in the match, <v Speaker 1>no Bronson Reid in the match, but jay Uso wins <v Speaker 1>by eliminating both Alien Knight and Jimmy Uso and eventually Dom, <v Speaker 1>who we all thought was gonna be maybe the one. <v Speaker 1>I mean, imagine if Dom had won that, my god. <v Speaker 1>But Jay Uso wins in about eighteen and a half <v Speaker 1>minutes to get a spot in the in the match <v Speaker 1>against CM Punk, and this was you know, I know <v Speaker 1>that there's a lot of people who are unhappy about this, <v Speaker 1>a lot of dislikes. I went over that, and it's <v Speaker 1>in excess on my last show that there's this subset <v Speaker 1>of people that believe WWE should react to a button <v Speaker 1>being pushed on social media. Of course, you can't run <v Speaker 1>a business like that. You should take the temperature of <v Speaker 1>the audience as a whole. But you can't dictate everything <v Speaker 1>you do based on oh my gosh, well, shoot, there's <v Speaker 1>ten hundred thousand, a million dislikes on this. <v Speaker 2>We got to change course. We got a correct course. No, <v Speaker 2>you don't, you don't, you don't, you don't. You need to. <v Speaker 1>Kind of look at consistency and translate translation to real life. <v Speaker 1>I mean, I went over those two massive points on <v Speaker 1>my last show, and I know that WWE is probably <v Speaker 1>they're looking at that going, oh man, you know, shaking <v Speaker 1>their heads or laughing whatever they're doing. But until there's <v Speaker 1>actual consistency or a movement online or some kind of <v Speaker 1>backlash that they could see coming and it's translating into <v Speaker 1>real life in the arenas, it's coming into actual as <v Speaker 1>I said three D Space on Monday Tuesday Review, it's <v Speaker 1>not doing that yet. And if it does, then maybe <v Speaker 1>they'll start to rethink their creative process. But if fans <v Speaker 1>are arrogant enough to think and I'm not coming to <v Speaker 1>ww's defense in principle, I'm just I'm a realist and <v Speaker 1>WWE is not TKA is not going to just react <v Speaker 1>to a button being pushed Byever, However, many people all right, <v Speaker 1>they're not they care about in person reaction. Are fans <v Speaker 1>still coming, are they still reacting? Is there a consistent <v Speaker 1>trend that maybe we should pay attention to on social media? <v Speaker 1>Is there a hashtag trending? Is there real potential backlash <v Speaker 1>that could come from this decision, especially from a monetary perspective. <v Speaker 1>If the answer is no to all those, then they're <v Speaker 1>just gonna laugh all the way to the bank on <v Speaker 1>the discs. I mean, they're just gonna go, Okay, sure, whatever, <v Speaker 1>have fun, have fun pushing your button That's what i'd say, <v Speaker 1>you know. I mean, hey, you're not gonna have everyone <v Speaker 1>like everything. Jay uso Is does have several videos that <v Speaker 1>have a lot of dislikes on him, Yet the fans <v Speaker 1>up until this point have been very supportive of Jay <v Speaker 1>listening in the arenas, he moves a lot of merchandise. <v Speaker 1>He's got a lot of energy. He is a visual spectacle. <v Speaker 1>He's not a deep character when it comes to on <v Speaker 1>the microphone. He lacks there in a big, big way <v Speaker 1>the WWE, and somewhat rightfully, so don't trust him to <v Speaker 1>say more than a sentence or two. And he's really <v Speaker 1>good in the ring. He's got a hell of a <v Speaker 1>storyline also behind him, with the bloodline story that went <v Speaker 1>on forever that solidified a lot of men's careers. He's <v Speaker 1>had a legendary tag team career, and yes, he won <v Speaker 1>a World Championship of WrestleMania, and very few men can <v Speaker 1>say that he won a royal rumble. Very few men <v Speaker 1>on this planet, living or dead. <v Speaker 2>Could say that. <v Speaker 1>Sodis has had a hell of a career. He's had <v Speaker 1>a hell of a career in w w's not just <v Speaker 1>gonna switch their creative because a bunch of people are <v Speaker 1>pointing out how many dislikes are on a video. <v Speaker 2>It's not gonna happen. <v Speaker 1>But that said that, we are probably in the process <v Speaker 1>of Jay turning heel. I think it's still in progress. <v Speaker 1>He could be doing that at this next pl here <v Speaker 1>where this pl e hybrid of Saturday Night's mane Betty <v Speaker 1>could do to his early as Saturday whether it's a <v Speaker 1>low blow, some kind of cheap way to win the belt. <v Speaker 1>And then Gunther could challenge him. They have a long <v Speaker 1>history as well. Chris Jericho could come out. I mean <v Speaker 1>kind of wild stuff here. I know I pointed those <v Speaker 1>two men as possibilities at the beginning of the show. <v Speaker 1>But you have Jay us in a position that the <v Speaker 1>fans I think are ready to dislike him now, and <v Speaker 1>that's okay. If I was Jay in the company, I'd <v Speaker 1>embrace it. Is that it opens a whole new box <v Speaker 1>for jay Uso, a box he hasn't opened in about <v Speaker 1>four years since he was with the bloodline, the ol <v Speaker 1>G blood line. So if jay Uso about to turn heel, <v Speaker 1>he could totally remake and rebuild and rebrand himself. <v Speaker 2>Why not. <v Speaker 1>I mean, I'm not looking at this as a positive <v Speaker 1>or a negative for Jay. It's a good thing. The <v Speaker 1>fans are telling you they're ready. Okay, great, let's give <v Speaker 1>it to him. You know, let's give it to him. <v Speaker 1>It's been a while, so all right, I'll stop babbling. <v Speaker 1>Thank you everybody for joining me on this Sunday night. <v Speaker 1>I'll be back on Tuesday with your raw review. And if you are <v Speaker 1>not a sports fan and you're just ready I mean <v Speaker 1>to stop listening to me, then cool, I'll talk to <v Speaker 1>you later. So this is for just the NFL fans, <v Speaker 1>new York fans, just New York sports fans in general. <v Speaker 1>It is a it is horrible to be a sports <v Speaker 1>fan in New York right now. I mean outside of <v Speaker 1>the Yankees making the playoffs every year, and that's an <v Speaker 1>accomplishment in and of itself, even though a lot of <v Speaker 1>people believe that's a birthright and as a fan you <v Speaker 1>just to come to expect it. I understand that, and <v Speaker 1>I do too. But outside of that and the Yankees <v Speaker 1>making the playoffs every year, there has not been a <v Speaker 1>championship brought to New York. I don't even in two <v Speaker 1>thousand and nine. I'm talking any sport. When is the <v Speaker 1>last time a championship was brought to New York. Oh, <v Speaker 1>I should say, sorry, sorry, the Giants. The Giants in <v Speaker 1>twenty twelve, I should say, did win the Super Bowl? Okay, <v Speaker 1>that's the thing, yes, But in the last thirteen years, <v Speaker 1>it has been a horrible thing to be a sports <v Speaker 1>fan in New York. I mean, the Mets haven't won <v Speaker 1>since nineteen eighty five. That's horrendous. The Yankees have won <v Speaker 1>one championship in twenty five years, one one, sixteen years <v Speaker 1>since their last one. That's insane. And I know many <v Speaker 1>of you, oh, I haven't won since. Well, the problem <v Speaker 1>is the expectations are different from franchise the franchise. Okay, okay, <v Speaker 1>you know, if you're a Royals fan, if you're a <v Speaker 1>Brewers fan, if you're I get it. <v Speaker 2>You're you know, you're you're the only heavy once. I <v Speaker 2>get it. <v Speaker 1>But as a Yankees fan, it just sucks, all right, <v Speaker 1>It sucks because again, one in twenty five years, based <v Speaker 1>on what the Yankees tell you their goal is every year, <v Speaker 1>they have won one out of twenty five. It's that's <v Speaker 1>a bad ratio. Not saying it's easy to do. But <v Speaker 1>then again, you look at the Mets. They have their <v Speaker 1>own mess going on. They haven't won in forty years. <v Speaker 1>You have the Rangers, the NHL Rangers, the Islanders. You <v Speaker 1>have the Giants, who again are the last ones to <v Speaker 1>win the championship. You have the Jets who won finally <v Speaker 1>won a game this week by a point. <v Speaker 2>So I mean, I. <v Speaker 1>Guess the bar is solo that we're supposed to celebrate <v Speaker 1>a one in seven record. I mean, are you kidding me? <v Speaker 1>You know again, you have the Knicks who are now <v Speaker 1>playoff contenders, which is good. You have the Nets who <v Speaker 1>might be able to squeak in this year. It's just <v Speaker 1>it's not a The sports juggernaut of of being in <v Speaker 1>New York is no longer a thing. I mean, being <v Speaker 1>in New York, being in the Yankee Stadium, the intimidation <v Speaker 1>of being at home, home field advantage, just generally in <v Speaker 1>New York doesn't exist anymore. <v Speaker 2>It's a hard. <v Speaker 1>It's hard being a fan in New York right now <v Speaker 1>under any sport that you like, any sport. So just <v Speaker 1>wanted to point that out. For those I give a damn. <v Speaker 1>If you've listened to wrestling, you probably aren't listening as <v Speaker 1>anyway because I told you to just head out.
