<v Speaker 3>or religion. But I saw some clips from your guys
<v Speaker 3>in the US presidential debate this week and I don't
<v Speaker 3>know if anyone other than UK listeners would have seen
<v Speaker 3>a program called The Thick of It. But if you
<v Speaker 3>haven't seen it, do try and see. I don't know
<v Speaker 3>if you can get like BBC eyeplayer wherever abouts you
<v Speaker 3>are in the world. But it's definitely worth seeing because
<v Speaker 3>it's the only thing I've ever seen in fiction or
<v Speaker 3>reality that was anything like some of the clips I've seen.
<v Speaker 3>I thought at first it had been aid or something
<v Speaker 3>like eating cats and dogs. What I just you know,
<v Speaker 3>I won't say anymore, but wow, I thought UK politics
<v Speaker 3>was crazy. Apparently not that crazy anyway. So back to
<v Speaker 3>while we're all here wrestling, what did you guys think
<v Speaker 3>of RAW as the first thing this week? Some pretty
<v Speaker 3>big news and I think we can all say thank
<v Speaker 3>goodness at long last, looks like RAW is moving to
<v Speaker 3>two hours. I think at the moment we don't know
<v Speaker 3>whether it's a trial, oh, whether it's the forever format,
<v Speaker 3>but I think we'll all be fairly pleased to see
<v Speaker 3>it moved to two hours. Also, what did you guys
<v Speaker 3>think of Brett the hit man Heart? He isn't looking
<v Speaker 3>that good, is he thought? He looked obviously old? He
<v Speaker 3>is old, you know, time waits for no man, but
<v Speaker 3>kind of looked a bit shaky, in a bit not great,
<v Speaker 3>So hopefully he's well. I thought the pop Va Natalia
<v Speaker 3>in her own home country was a bit underwhelming and
<v Speaker 3>sad for her, because whatever you think of Nai, she
<v Speaker 3>is the work course of the division and she's probably
<v Speaker 3>eaten more pins than any other woman ever on the roster.
<v Speaker 3>Helena Cell for the payoff to the Drew punkviewd That's great,
<v Speaker 3>can't wait, really looking forward to that. And what about
<v Speaker 3>that amazing eight person mixed tag match. I mean, oh
<v Speaker 3>my god, that's one of the greatest matches I think
<v Speaker 3>I've ever seen on a normal one of the normal
<v Speaker 3>TV shows outside of a PLA. It was just it
<v Speaker 3>was awesome. Absolutely loved it. So let's get to it
<v Speaker 3>our own main event of the podcast, which is the
<v Speaker 3>review of what was the season premiere of SmackDown, which
<v Speaker 3>aired on September thirteenth. From Seattle, another place I've been,
<v Speaker 3>very cool city, very hilly, and I think the home
<v Speaker 3>to the first ever Starbucks, although that might not be true.
<v Speaker 3>The first thing I have to say about tonight's show
<v Speaker 3>is I love the new logo. Very cool. I had
<v Speaker 3>seen a bit of a teaser, bit of a spoiler
<v Speaker 3>for that new logo from somebody I can't remember who
<v Speaker 3>to credit, but on Twitter, but absolutely love it. Really
<v Speaker 3>good look for the show. And we start off obviously
<v Speaker 3>with Cole welcoming us to the season premierees exclusively on
<v Speaker 3>the USA Network, and then we get the whole big
<v Speaker 3>intro intro for Triple H and he gets a massive pop,
<v Speaker 3>probably one of the biggest pops of the night, probably
<v Speaker 3>second only to Rome. And it's really liked. The Messiah
<v Speaker 3>is coming home. You know, the fans absolutely love him
<v Speaker 3>and quite right to. He's transformed the product in my
<v Speaker 3>humble opinion since taking over. He starts off in the ring,
<v Speaker 3>reminiscing back to the first of an episode of SmackDown
<v Speaker 3>where he went one on one with the Rock and
<v Speaker 3>he says, there's no better place to be than Seattle, Washington,
<v Speaker 3>and he kicks hingis off with some pretty epic pyros
<v Speaker 3>or obviously you know, absolutely smashed the budget on the
<v Speaker 3>first week with some great pyro and we have the
<v Speaker 3>first match of the night is the Solo versus Cody
<v Speaker 3>Championship match. In the Steelcage. Before the match, we get
<v Speaker 3>a reminder of their various encounters over the last few
<v Speaker 3>weeks between Cody and the Bloodline and inevitably a bit
<v Speaker 3>of Randy and Ko in there as well. And as always,
<v Speaker 3>once wwe put it all together in a video package,
<v Speaker 3>it looks even better than it was. And this was
<v Speaker 3>it was good anyway first time round, but once they
<v Speaker 3>put it in a video package, absolutely brilliant. We also
<v Speaker 3>get several reminders of Roman's return and the role that
<v Speaker 3>he's played in the whole thing too, so that might
<v Speaker 3>be telling later. I think we definitely know we're getting
<v Speaker 3>a Roman return tonight. Wwe you have said as much,
<v Speaker 3>so was there going to be any surprises Rock? Maybe
<v Speaker 3>I've heard might you know? Maybe he would put in
<v Speaker 3>an appearance. We'll see as we go along. So Solo
<v Speaker 3>makes his entrance first, and importantly he's all alone, and
<v Speaker 3>Cole reminds us that Solo has pinned Cody before and
<v Speaker 3>that he also may have one Summer Slam if it
<v Speaker 3>hadn't been for Roman. I guess we'll never know that.
<v Speaker 3>Cody makes his entrance to a great reaction as always,
<v Speaker 3>and he looks like he means business tonight. He's not
<v Speaker 3>girning or smiling or kissing any babies or anything like that.
<v Speaker 3>He's all business. Cole reminds us of the reason this
<v Speaker 3>championship match is in a still cage, and that's largely
<v Speaker 3>down but not exclusively down to the Shenanigans of the bloodline.
<v Speaker 3>Alicia Taylor gives them both the big in ring introduction,
<v Speaker 3>which for me, in my opinion, always helps with the
<v Speaker 3>big fight feel when they're in the ring, when the
<v Speaker 3>announcers in the ring with the competitors. So the bell
<v Speaker 3>rings and we're off. Absolutely loving the new graphics to
<v Speaker 3>go with the new logo which appears on the screen.
<v Speaker 3>Really again, good luck, great production. We get a quick
<v Speaker 3>start from Cody getting off a couple of punches and
<v Speaker 3>Solo quickly fights back with some of his massive elbows
<v Speaker 3>in the corner. Monum shifts back to Cody, who starts
<v Speaker 3>throwing so face first into the cage, and then Cody
<v Speaker 3>gets launched over Solo's back and hits the cage really hard,
<v Speaker 3>looks a bit messy. Solo quickly follows up with his
<v Speaker 3>running asked to the face move, I don't know what
<v Speaker 3>the official term is, but it will forever be known
<v Speaker 3>to me as asked to the face against the cage.
<v Speaker 3>Solo has Cody caught upside down on the top rope
<v Speaker 3>in the corner and delivers a flying head butt and
<v Speaker 3>Cody looks to be in trouble. A Solo goes for
<v Speaker 3>a second head butt, but Cody pulls himself clear and
<v Speaker 3>attempts to climb up the cage, but is ripped down
<v Speaker 3>by Solo. It looks like Cody's head is busted open.
<v Speaker 3>Commentary team tell us that's probably from the head butt,
<v Speaker 3>but later on I think it's quite obviously that was
<v Speaker 3>a blood capsule, because that just completely disappears. He's thrown
<v Speaker 3>back into the cage from the top, and Cody starts
<v Speaker 3>to fight back, but again Solo overcome him and tries
<v Speaker 3>to pound on Cody's head to make his head wind
<v Speaker 3>even worse. The crowd and not enjoying this at all,
<v Speaker 3>Solo being on top, Cody rallies, looks to rally and
<v Speaker 3>goes for a disaster kick, but is caught by Solo
<v Speaker 3>and again he's thrown into the cage. So far, this
<v Speaker 3>match is brutal and Solo is looking particularly lethal. Tonight,
<v Speaker 3>Solo goes for a slam, but Cody grabs onto the
<v Speaker 3>cage and pulls off a Cody cutter from not the
<v Speaker 3>top of the cage, but definitely a higher than halfway
<v Speaker 3>up the cage. He gets a two count and goes
<v Speaker 3>to climb the cage again, but again Solo stops him,
<v Speaker 3>and now Solo starts to climb, so now we've got
<v Speaker 3>both men reaching the top of the cage. Cody manages
<v Speaker 3>to bounce Solo headfirst off the cage, but Solo grabs
<v Speaker 3>hold of him forms some kind of neckbreaker on Cody
<v Speaker 3>from the top. It actually looked pretty nasty, especially in
<v Speaker 3>the slow mo, and Solo goes to for the cover
<v Speaker 3>sorry for two. The cage door is open and Solo
<v Speaker 3>is looking to escape, but first it hits the spinning
<v Speaker 3>Solo twice and goes for the cover, which Cody kicks
<v Speaker 3>in two. Solo then goes for the spike, but he
<v Speaker 3>spent far too long, chops in off and Cody counters
<v Speaker 3>with a disaster kick followed by a Cody cutter into
<v Speaker 3>the pin for another close to count. Again, Cody tries
<v Speaker 3>to rally, but Solo has him in the corner and
<v Speaker 3>then hits a Samoan drop. Solo then goes off the
<v Speaker 3>top with a flying splash for another two count, and
<v Speaker 3>again Solo is smashing Cody in the corner and Cody
<v Speaker 3>tries a quick slip out the door but gets caught.
<v Speaker 3>Cody hits the Crossroads on the counter, but Solo again
<v Speaker 3>kicks out in two. Cody again makes to escape over
<v Speaker 3>the top again and have to say here I completely
<v Speaker 3>agree with Matt. I'm not sure really that escaping from
<v Speaker 3>a cage is anything that chivalrous or brave for a face.
<v Speaker 3>It just doesn't. It doesn't seem the right way to
<v Speaker 3>end the match. So Cody makes to escape, but instead
<v Speaker 3>of going from the over the top and getting out,
<v Speaker 3>he goes from the rate of the cage for a
<v Speaker 3>crossbody and a cover again for a very close two count. Again,
<v Speaker 3>Cody makes for the door that Solo slams it in
<v Speaker 3>his face, and Solo goes for the spike, but Cody
<v Speaker 3>counters with crossroads and a cover for the three counts,
<v Speaker 3>meaning Cody retains and is still our champion. I really
<v Speaker 3>enjoyed this match. I did. I think it was an
<v Speaker 3>awesome match, and as you'd expect with the amazing storytelling
<v Speaker 3>that we are getting from WW at the moment, there
<v Speaker 3>were times where you were thinking, gosh, maybe Cody could lose,
<v Speaker 3>and maybe that is the big thing that's going to
<v Speaker 3>be on this premiere episode of SmackDown, which I like.
<v Speaker 3>I like not being sure what's going to happen? Both
<v Speaker 3>guys one hundred percent put everything on the line here,
<v Speaker 3>and I thought this was a great way to kick off.
<v Speaker 3>But it's supposed to be a new era of SmackDown,
<v Speaker 3>and as far as the match went, the cage did
<v Speaker 3>its job and we've got notion onigans. So I guess
<v Speaker 3>my questions are, is at the end of Cody and
<v Speaker 3>solo one on one? Is there more? Well? I think
<v Speaker 3>we've now seen the episode we know the answer to that.
<v Speaker 3>We do now. Anyway, as we're watching a replay, the
<v Speaker 3>blood Line appear at ringside and they pile in as expected.
<v Speaker 3>Cole is asking who on else can help Cody. I
<v Speaker 3>wonder just as Jacob Fattou is about to do something
<v Speaker 3>insane from the top of the cage, we get Roman's
<v Speaker 3>new music and he comes out to an absolutely wild reception.
<v Speaker 3>I notice that he's let his beard go gray and
<v Speaker 3>he looks absolutely nails. I think he's actually lost a
<v Speaker 3>bit of bulk, seems to have slimmed down a bit,
<v Speaker 3>let his beard go gray, and yeah, I think he
<v Speaker 3>looks absolutely wicked at the moment. He comes out very slowly,
<v Speaker 3>and the blood Line seemed completely Frozen gets into the cage,
<v Speaker 3>slams the door dramatically behind him, and starts smashing up
<v Speaker 3>the blood line really hard. It's great to see them
<v Speaker 3>get in some but Solo from behind on Roman, but
<v Speaker 3>then Solo gets wiped out with the Superman punch. Crowd
<v Speaker 3>are losing their minds, absolutely loving it, and Fatou save
<v Speaker 3>Solo from the spear. Fatu and Rain's stare down and
<v Speaker 3>it looks like it's about to be on, but as
<v Speaker 3>it's just about to kick off, Solo drags Jacob Fattou
<v Speaker 3>out the out of the door and Roman is attacked
<v Speaker 3>by Tamatonga and Tongoalwa and at that point Cody steps
<v Speaker 3>in to help Roman. We then get a bit of
<v Speaker 3>a tense stare down at the end between Rody and
<v Speaker 3>Comen God, Cody and Roman. So at this point we're thinking,
<v Speaker 3>where's this going? Are we going to get a rematch
<v Speaker 3>between Roman and Cody? What's going to happen? I liked
<v Speaker 3>all of this, the match, the afters Roman Cody. I
<v Speaker 3>liked it all so great to see Roman back and
<v Speaker 3>as such a massive babyface, great match, brilliant after match,
<v Speaker 3>just bloody brilliant. Loved it, absolutely brilliant, go to a
<v Speaker 3>break after the quickest half an hour I think I've
<v Speaker 3>ever seen on WWE TV. I was so into it
<v Speaker 3>it just flew by. So back from the break and
<v Speaker 3>we go backstage to Kathie Kelly, who has Nick Ordos
<v Speaker 3>or as we know him, everybody all together now of
<v Speaker 3>Livia and the Gladiator. She asks how he will deal
<v Speaker 3>with these events. He says Solo has reached out with
<v Speaker 3>a deal. He says no one can refuse and that's
<v Speaker 3>him and Jacob Fattu. No further details. He assures us
<v Speaker 3>that this night is a long way from being over.
<v Speaker 3>I have to say liking the nick oldest character as
<v Speaker 3>GM he I think being the authority figure in these
<v Speaker 3>WWE scenarios can be really difficult, but he's doing it
<v Speaker 3>really well, believable and feels like most of the time
<v Speaker 3>he's probably doing what maybe we might do when we
<v Speaker 3>fantasy book the show. So yeah, really enjoying him. I
<v Speaker 3>think he's doing a good job. We now go straight
<v Speaker 3>into our next match. We have meeting Piper and Chelsea
<v Speaker 3>already in the ring. No entrances, that's rubbish. Meeching in charge.
<v Speaker 3>First off, dispatches Piper manages to knock Chelsea clean out
<v Speaker 3>pretty much with a big punch on the outside. Piper
<v Speaker 3>with a pretty amazing suicide dive through the ropes to
<v Speaker 3>the outside absolutely flattens meeting. And then somehow Meechin manages
<v Speaker 3>a suplex on Piper from the top rope, followed by
<v Speaker 3>eat the feet and the wind for Meachin. Piper's nose
<v Speaker 3>is busted open and Chelsea joins in for a post
<v Speaker 3>match beatdown. Chelsea hits unpretty hurt on the rubbish can
<v Speaker 3>on meat chim. I thought this was weird. What was
<v Speaker 3>the point? No entrances, Not much happened in the match.
<v Speaker 3>It felt rushed. Did they have to cut it short
<v Speaker 3>because the Roman Cody bloodline stuff went long? Didn't feel
<v Speaker 3>like it did. But I can't believe that's what they
<v Speaker 3>had planned. Did they have to finish the match quicker
<v Speaker 3>because of Piper's nose. Let's see what comes out after
<v Speaker 3>the show, I guess, and see if there's anything on Twitter,
<v Speaker 3>because hopefully it'll be something because that pretty much sucked.
<v Speaker 3>We get back from the break and we get a
<v Speaker 3>pretty cool package celebrating twenty five years of SmackDown. You
<v Speaker 3>do forget all the cool moments there's been. And then
<v Speaker 3>we go back to the crowd and RVD is in
<v Speaker 3>the crowd and VICKI guero excuse me doing all her
<v Speaker 3>shouting and screaming. I love her. I think she's wicked.
<v Speaker 3>Now we have our next match, and it's eight ound
<v Speaker 3>down versus Ko and his mystery partner bets on Twitter
<v Speaker 3>are the favorite. Certainly seems to be Randy possibly turning
<v Speaker 3>heel on Ko at some point, Joe Hendry, which seems unlikely,
<v Speaker 3>or Stone Cold, seems even less likely. But let's see
<v Speaker 3>they and want to get what I think sounds like
<v Speaker 3>a lukeal response and an outcomes Ko to a good
<v Speaker 3>pop as always, and his partner is I have absolutely
<v Speaker 3>no idea. He's very hairy whoever he is, introduces his
<v Speaker 3>partner Ricky, and then I get The point is that
<v Speaker 3>we're not supposed to recognize him. He's like a local
<v Speaker 3>talent or something very hairy local talent. But just as
<v Speaker 3>we're about to start, wait a second, a production assistant
<v Speaker 3>comes to the ring and says he's here. Ko gets
<v Speaker 3>rid of Ricky with a stunner, which is a bit harsh,
<v Speaker 3>but at least he got his moment in the sun
<v Speaker 3>and outcomes Randy. I think, may I'm not really bothered.
<v Speaker 3>I've got to be honest, kind of wish that he
<v Speaker 3>had made it someone else. But it will be a
<v Speaker 3>good match. That's not in doubt. Randy's excellent. But I'm
<v Speaker 3>a little bit bored of Randy and Ko, which is
<v Speaker 3>probably sacrilege, but I am. The bell rings and off
<v Speaker 3>we go with Waller and Ko in the ring. First off,
<v Speaker 3>Ko straight into it ablutely, battering Waller in the corner.
<v Speaker 3>Theory makes the safe, but Randy gets into it on
<v Speaker 3>the outside, now Ko bashing Waller's head off the announced table.
<v Speaker 3>Waller blind size Ko with a big clothesline on the
<v Speaker 3>outside and then drops him onto the announced table in
<v Speaker 3>the style of Randy. As we come back from the break,
<v Speaker 3>Theories in the ring with Ko, who seems to be
<v Speaker 3>getting the upper hand, but Theory gets the tag and
<v Speaker 3>Waller continues to beat down. Waller tries to supplex Ko,
<v Speaker 3>but as per usual, this seems to be a thing
<v Speaker 3>that the comment trying to get over. No one can
<v Speaker 3>ever superplex Ko off the top raape, so it doesn't
<v Speaker 3>manage it. A quick tag and Theory is in but
<v Speaker 3>Ko continues to fight back, delivering the swanton to Theory.
<v Speaker 3>Waller rips Randy off the apron, preventing the tag and
<v Speaker 3>now a double team on Ko. Ko kicks in two.
<v Speaker 3>Ko starts to fight back, taking out both atown down
<v Speaker 3>and while it again prevents the tag to Randy, Ko
<v Speaker 3>takes them both out with kick, runs round the ring
<v Speaker 3>on the outside, and finally gets the tag to Randy.
<v Speaker 3>I wonder why more tag team don't do that, Why
<v Speaker 3>they always try and go straight across the ring when
<v Speaker 3>they can quite easy duck out the ring get back
<v Speaker 3>in the ring. So I liked that. That was good.
<v Speaker 3>Randy comes in off the tag red hot, taking everyone out,
<v Speaker 3>drops them both on the announced table and he is
<v Speaker 3>absolutely rolling Ko back in with a double vintage Autumn
<v Speaker 3>move through the ropes. Is it called a floating DDT?
<v Speaker 3>I think it is, so pull off a double version
<v Speaker 3>of that, and then they get a double Rko and
<v Speaker 3>a stunner Randy with the pin and the win. That's good,
<v Speaker 3>nice visial. There's a decent match, as I said, as
<v Speaker 3>I expected, it was a good match. In fact, a
<v Speaker 3>nice ending. Randy and Ko do make a good team.
<v Speaker 3>I know there's a lot of clamor online for Randy
<v Speaker 3>to turn heel, and maybe he will. A SmackDown does
<v Speaker 3>have a lot of babyface stars, so I guess that
<v Speaker 3>would make sense, but I will have to see it.
<v Speaker 3>Certainly would make things a bit more spicy. And the
<v Speaker 3>other element of this is a hound down. And does
<v Speaker 3>the deterioration of Waller and Furious friendship continue or is
<v Speaker 3>that now considered to be fixed? I guess watch this space.
<v Speaker 3>We now go backstage to Nicholls, Us and Kathy again.
<v Speaker 3>The challenge is Bloodline Jacob and Solo versus Roman and Cody.
<v Speaker 3>Cody comes to the office and says he won't sign
<v Speaker 3>the contract, and Nick goes away to speak to Roman.
<v Speaker 3>This to me makes sense, this is nice. I mean,
<v Speaker 3>why on earth would Cody team with Roman? What why?
<v Speaker 3>He is literally no reason to at all and he
<v Speaker 3>is more than well honored. Is rematches and matches and
<v Speaker 3>different connotations, etc. To the Bloodline and to Solo, And
<v Speaker 3>He's right, it's Roman's problem. I'm pleased that Cody isn't
<v Speaker 3>just falling over himself to help Roman, because honestly, why
<v Speaker 3>would His character was literally no point at all. Now
<v Speaker 3>back to the ring we get Nia Jacks coming out.
<v Speaker 3>Doesn't look for her outfit like she is set for
<v Speaker 3>a match. She tells us that she returned a year
<v Speaker 3>ago and now everyone in the locker room knows why
<v Speaker 3>she's an unstoppable force. She said the Queen of the
<v Speaker 3>Ring was easier, and winning the women's championship was even easier.
<v Speaker 3>She does everyone fears her and everyone should. She says.
<v Speaker 3>Nick Holders has told her she will be defending at
<v Speaker 3>Bad Blood, but she doesn't know who against and she
<v Speaker 3>doesn't care because whoever it is, she will annihilate them.
<v Speaker 3>Now Bailey comes out, and she will says she will
<v Speaker 3>give credit where credit is due. She has had the
<v Speaker 3>best year of her career. She says the bar was
<v Speaker 3>pretty low from her first run, which I actually had
<v Speaker 3>a laugh out loud moment too, because that's hilarious and
<v Speaker 3>it's true. Right, Bailey said she is happy Nia is
<v Speaker 3>confident and that she wants her rematch. Naya says she
<v Speaker 3>runs the women's division and she doesn't need a posse
<v Speaker 3>to do it, getting in a bit of a dig
<v Speaker 3>on Bailey and damage Control. Now we get Tiffany coming
<v Speaker 3>down to the ring. She tells Bailey she is pathetic
<v Speaker 3>and she is jealous of her because she has the
<v Speaker 3>money in the bank. Briefcase, Tiffany says that she only
<v Speaker 3>lost because Nia got involved, which brilliantly continues to sow
<v Speaker 3>more beautiful doubt between Nia and Tiffany, which is great.
<v Speaker 3>So we're in the background just constantly building up the
<v Speaker 3>issues between those two, and then out comes Naomi to
<v Speaker 3>back up Bailey, basically saying let's fight, and says it's
<v Speaker 3>been a while since she had a title and she
<v Speaker 3>quite fancies getting one back. Nyah says that since Bailey
<v Speaker 3>and Naomi want a match, why don't they tag next
<v Speaker 3>week and whoever wins gets the title match, but when
<v Speaker 3>they lose, whoever takes the pin has to leave SmackDown
<v Speaker 3>Bailey and Naomi except and on her way out of

<v Speaker 3>I gotta be honest, this is a bit disappointing. I
<v Speaker 3>had hoped that someone fresh would challenge with Tiffany in
<v Speaker 3>the picture. There is always the money in the bank
<v Speaker 3>angle to help make things interesting. If Naya and Tiffany lose,
<v Speaker 3>Does Tiffany have to leave SmackDown? If so, is that
<v Speaker 3>an angle? Would she go to Raw and use the
<v Speaker 3>money in the bank briefcase there. I'm not super excited
<v Speaker 3>about this, As I said, I was really hoping to
<v Speaker 3>get some new blood in, but they're leaving SmackDown angle
<v Speaker 3>and the money in the bank angle does make it
<v Speaker 3>a bit more interesting, so I guess let's see where
<v Speaker 3>it goes. We go backstage now and seeing it called
<v Speaker 3>us who says Roman wants to address things after the
<v Speaker 3>next match live in the ring, which is cool. Finally,
<v Speaker 3>and at last we're going to hear from Romani, which
<v Speaker 3>unless I've missed it, I think is the first time
<v Speaker 3>we've actually heard from him on the show in the
<v Speaker 3>ring properly, so that will be cool. Next up, we
<v Speaker 3>have a match which I'd forgotten was on tonight she
<v Speaker 3>was quite excited about. We've got Andrade versus Carmelo in there,
<v Speaker 3>deciding fifth match of the series. No barbershops in sight
<v Speaker 3>this week, and as we come back from the break,
<v Speaker 3>we get both entrances and Carmelo attacks and before the
<v Speaker 3>bell and Cole tells us quickly how this match has
<v Speaker 3>become very personal and when the match starts proper, we
<v Speaker 3>get Andde checking Carmelo through the ropes and I'm all
<v Speaker 3>moon Salt to the outside, which I think really sets
<v Speaker 3>the tone for this match. A move to be the
<v Speaker 3>second or third one of the match. Both men fighting
<v Speaker 3>now on the outside, and Rade it's still with the
<v Speaker 3>upper hand. Comello joins Andrade as he climbs up to
<v Speaker 3>the barricade of the timekeeper's kind of compound and takes
<v Speaker 3>him down, but both men seem to come out of
<v Speaker 3>it a bit badly. As we go to the break,
<v Speaker 3>it doesn't like it was the best of landings. As
<v Speaker 3>we come back from the break, we've got and in charge,
<v Speaker 3>but they're both back in the ring. Camello reverses the
<v Speaker 3>message and we get a couple of quick covers for both.
<v Speaker 3>Camello hits the first forty eight, but Andde absolutely wallops
<v Speaker 3>him with a spinning back elbow and almost gets the
<v Speaker 3>free count and remains in charge. Goes up top trying
<v Speaker 3>to hit his double moon Salt, which is a beautiful move,
<v Speaker 3>but gets caught by Camello's knees up, and now the
<v Speaker 3>momentum switches to Comello, who goes to the top rope
<v Speaker 3>for nothing but net but And manages to roll out
<v Speaker 3>of the way, Andrade hits the destroyer and Camello kicks
<v Speaker 3>out of the cover and looks very much out of it.
<v Speaker 3>Mello gets a hand on the ropes to break the
<v Speaker 3>cover and Andrad goes to the top again, but Comelo moves,
<v Speaker 3>Camello has and in the corner and from the top
<v Speaker 3>rope and gets the cover and wins the series, which
<v Speaker 3>is great. Now out comes La Night. He congratulates and
<v Speaker 3>and says that he is an ex contestant for the
<v Speaker 3>US Championship, which is great, and that match will be
<v Speaker 3>next week, so I don't know what I'm expecting. Really
<v Speaker 3>enjoyed getting to know Anderdo more, especially Anddi, but also Comello.
<v Speaker 3>I wasn't mass fan. I didn't really know him very
<v Speaker 3>well when this series started. This has been a great
<v Speaker 3>way to get to note both of them, and I
<v Speaker 3>am looking forward to the match between La Knight and
<v Speaker 3>then the day next week. I think it'll be a
<v Speaker 3>good match. I don't think we'll get La Night dropping
<v Speaker 3>the title just yet. I think we maybe get some
<v Speaker 3>shenanigans from from Camelo and then maybe we go into
<v Speaker 3>a trifle threat. But let's see. So after that, we
<v Speaker 3>go backstage to Byron, who has Jade and Bianca. Now,
<v Speaker 3>listen to Matt's Raw review this week, as I do
<v Speaker 3>every week. It's excellent and I have to agree with
<v Speaker 3>him one hundred percent. This Jaden Bianca thing is just dull.
<v Speaker 3>They need to come up with something better with these ladies.
<v Speaker 3>They are so talented individually, and I know that Jaye
<v Speaker 3>potentially needed to pair with somebody like Bianca to work
<v Speaker 3>on her ring work and etc. Build confidence, whatever they
<v Speaker 3>needed to do with her, But geez, come on, They've
<v Speaker 3>got to do something. This is just They're saying the
<v Speaker 3>same things week after week. It's just so boring. Nira
<v Speaker 3>and Tiffany show up and say congratulations on the tag
<v Speaker 3>team titles. Nya reminds them that SmackDown is her kingdom.
<v Speaker 3>I'm not really completely sure what that interaction was about.
<v Speaker 3>Maybe they're teasing a possible tag team feud with Nya
<v Speaker 3>and Tiffany versus Jade and Bianca. I'm not sure how
<v Speaker 3>that would work on what the point would be, because
<v Speaker 3>I think the long game potentially might be Tiffany turning
<v Speaker 3>on Nya with the money in the bank contract, so
<v Speaker 3>I'm not sure. I don't know, but not great. Back
<v Speaker 3>to the action and outcomes Roman thankfully. This time around.
<v Speaker 3>His entrance seems a bit quicker. Nick Ordos is also
<v Speaker 3>in the ring. I'm sure he's waiting to hear what
<v Speaker 3>Roman's about to say. Like we all are. Roman puts
<v Speaker 3>up his one, and from what I could see from
<v Speaker 3>the telly, most of the crowd also seemed to do
<v Speaker 3>it as well. They were absolutely loving it, all, chanting
<v Speaker 3>otc as well. Nick kicks off by saying he knows
<v Speaker 3>it's been a chaotic night, but before he can get
<v Speaker 3>too far into saying and I think in particular, Roman
<v Speaker 3>cuts him off, holding out his hand for the mic.
<v Speaker 3>Nick hans in the contract at first, but then he
<v Speaker 3>gets the mic. He says he doesn't want to confuse people.
<v Speaker 3>Things change, but not him. He doesn't need Nick or
<v Speaker 3>a contract or a partner, and he definitely doesn't need Cody.
<v Speaker 3>He says, whether he has his families or not, he
<v Speaker 3>is still the tribal chief, the only one and the
<v Speaker 3>best one. This is his ring, his show, his WWE.
<v Speaker 3>Cody then comes out really slowly like snail slow, really
<v Speaker 3>selling his injuries, personally, I know I wanted to hear
<v Speaker 3>more of Roman, and I think the crowd did too.
<v Speaker 3>There was a lot of Roman chance as Cody was
<v Speaker 3>making his entrance. I don't have massive issues with Cody.
<v Speaker 3>I think I like his character and the work he does,
<v Speaker 3>but actually, on this occasion, I really didn't really want
<v Speaker 3>to see Cody. I wanted to hear more of Roman anyway.
<v Speaker 3>Cody's obviously take an issue with the ur ring your
<v Speaker 3>WWE thing. He says it was, but it hasn't been
<v Speaker 3>since WrestleMania. They both throw down their mics and it
<v Speaker 3>looks like they're going to get into it, and then
<v Speaker 3>Bloomin Solo comes back out with Jacob Fatu and as
<v Speaker 3>they are having a long stare down from behind the
<v Speaker 3>Tonguans Tamatonga and Tonga Lower attack Roman and Cody, but
<v Speaker 3>Roman and Cody fight back and flattenum. Roman picks up
<v Speaker 3>the contracts and signs it and we have a bit
<v Speaker 3>of a tense moment, and then Cody signs it as well,
<v Speaker 3>so it looks like we're on for bad Blood. I
<v Speaker 3>do not get this. I do not get this. I
<v Speaker 3>get this even less than I got Ko and Ko
<v Speaker 3>and Cody. I don't get it. Why why would Cody
<v Speaker 3>team with Roman after everything that happened, the whole story,
<v Speaker 3>the ada yadah blah blah blah. Why it doesn't make
<v Speaker 3>any sense. Don't get it. I mean sometimes keep your
<v Speaker 3>friends close and your enemies closer. Is it that saying?
<v Speaker 3>I don't know. It'll be a good match. It will
<v Speaker 3>be a good match, but I'm not sure. I'm not
<v Speaker 3>in yet, but let's see how the build goes. So
<v Speaker 3>what did you guys think of the show tonight? I
<v Speaker 3>thought it was decent, edging towards good. I think maybe
<v Speaker 3>had slightly higher expectations for a season premiere. Obviously, it
<v Speaker 3>was great to have Roman there and it was really
<v Speaker 3>wrestling heavy, which seems like a real stupid thing to
<v Speaker 3>say because it's a wrestling show. But sometimes we don't
<v Speaker 3>get a lot of actual wrestling. We get a lot
<v Speaker 3>of more chatter. So but there was tons of wrestling tonight,
<v Speaker 3>which was great. The cage match for me was the
<v Speaker 3>highlight and as I said, great to hear from Roman. Finally,
<v Speaker 3>short and sweet. As it was a bit concerned with
<v Speaker 3>the women's division. We seem to be on groundhog day
<v Speaker 3>with most of the talent, and they do seem to
<v Speaker 3>just be in a washing machine instant cycle of you know,
<v Speaker 3>pick somebody, do something and then rinse and repeat, which
<v Speaker 3>is a bit disappointing because I feel like we had
<v Speaker 3>made a lot of really good headway with the women's division.
<v Speaker 3>So let's hope it's just a blip. Also, where's Charlotte.
<v Speaker 3>How's her recovery going? I thought she would have been
<v Speaker 3>back by now. If anyone has any intel on that,
