<v Speaker 1>This is WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre and you're listening to
<v Speaker 1>the WWE podcast show.
<v Speaker 2>The one that everybody wants met three sixteen. So your
<v Speaker 2>ass's miny.
<v Speaker 1>You can acknowledge me.
<v Speaker 2>Welcome everybody to the Monday Night Raw Review, Big Big
<v Speaker 2>Monday Night Raw. After money in the bank. Now we
<v Speaker 2>are our full steam ahead and Tonight of Champions in
<v Speaker 2>Saudi Arabia already a massive match set up with ce
<v Speaker 2>I'm Punk versus John Cena coming to you in just
<v Speaker 2>a few weeks. As the ple e train continues to
<v Speaker 2>keep moving. I mean there's not gonna be more than
<v Speaker 2>three weeks between ples from now through the I mean
<v Speaker 2>probably the end of August. So if you like pls,
<v Speaker 2>well you're gonna have seven more of them between on
<v Speaker 2>the end of August. I don't even think I'm kidding
<v Speaker 2>about that if you include Saturday Night main event and
<v Speaker 2>some NXT events. So we've got a lot on the table.
<v Speaker 2>Some other big revelations coming out of last night with
<v Speaker 2>Gunther reclaiming his World Heavyweight Championship from Jay Uso, a
<v Speaker 2>massive shift, a somewhat shocking shift by WWE last night
<v Speaker 2>with Gunther winning the world Championship for a second time.
<v Speaker 2>We also heard from our Truth, who now I guess
<v Speaker 2>is gonna go by his real name, Ron Killings. So
<v Speaker 2>I'll give you my thoughts on that. But first I
<v Speaker 2>want to welcome you to the show. If you haven't
<v Speaker 2>joined us before, This is the unofficial WWE podcast, and
<v Speaker 2>we come to you several times a week, about five
<v Speaker 2>times a week depends on the week, but usually about
<v Speaker 2>five is the number between NXT reviews and SmackDown and
<v Speaker 2>Raw and the weekend review and the after Dark show.
<v Speaker 2>So if you like wrestling content, good place to come
<v Speaker 2>to it is right here and you can go add
<v Speaker 2>free at Patreon dot com slash WWE podcast or go
<v Speaker 2>to Apple and subscribe there and go add free. So
<v Speaker 2>let's talk about it a lot. I'm gonna talk about
<v Speaker 2>Gunther first, all right. Gunther seems to be blowing up
<v Speaker 2>the internet. I put out a tweet and asked just
<v Speaker 2>the world. I said, hey, what do you guys think
<v Speaker 2>about What do you think about gun Through reclaiming the
<v Speaker 2>World Championship? And it seemed more overwhelming than not negative
<v Speaker 2>for Gunther reclaiming the championship, and that's somewhat surprising, but Gunther. Rather,
<v Speaker 2>Jay is a beloved character. There's a lot of people
<v Speaker 2>that have enjoyed his run thus far. He has been
<v Speaker 2>quote unquote over but from what I understand, there are
<v Speaker 2>reports coming out now from a former WWE writer. This
<v Speaker 2>is actually from sports Keto then had said that the
<v Speaker 2>reason that Jay was swiftly removed from being World Champion
<v Speaker 2>is that he didn't carry himself like a champion and
<v Speaker 2>Gunther did. Now take that for what it's worth, it
<v Speaker 2>did come from sports Kida, so it's not just some
<v Speaker 2>random sight trying to get clicks. But if WWE truly
<v Speaker 2>believed that Jay Uso didn't carry himself like a champion
<v Speaker 2>and Gunther did, then what why are we putting the
<v Speaker 2>belt on Jay? To begin with? I mean, the thing is,
<v Speaker 2>you don't need to put a championship on somebody to
<v Speaker 2>know whether or not they feel like a champion, because
<v Speaker 2>they should feel like a champion before they actually hold it.
<v Speaker 2>If you ever have to question yourself as to is
<v Speaker 2>the belt going to make the guy or the guy
<v Speaker 2>gonna make the belt, you have your answer. That's the
<v Speaker 2>problem with Jay, and that's the ben the problem that
<v Speaker 2>I have been saying since he won the rumble back
<v Speaker 2>in actually was it February this year, and that it
<v Speaker 2>just didn't feel right. Not that Jay's not over, He's
<v Speaker 2>got a fun gimmick. He's very over the top and flamboyant,
<v Speaker 2>and I get it, and he's he's a likable enough
<v Speaker 2>guy and he certainly has paid his dues in the company,
<v Speaker 2>but there's something that he's just been missing. And I
<v Speaker 2>think it was also exacerbated by that flubb of a
<v Speaker 2>promo he had with Gunther that probably put them over
<v Speaker 2>the top. I don't think that was the primary cause,
<v Speaker 2>but it added to their evidence to remove the championship
<v Speaker 2>from him with that bad promo that gun Thro was
<v Speaker 2>feeding him his lines and he's talking about you know,
<v Speaker 2>he's fighting for us, and he's you know, talking just
<v Speaker 2>mumbo jumbo, and he's missing his lines, and again happens.
<v Speaker 2>It's tough, not an easy business. I'll continue to say
<v Speaker 2>that and defend Jay, but also as world champion, you
<v Speaker 2>should feel like a champion. And I think they have
<v Speaker 2>felt that they've gotten enough of a sample size to
<v Speaker 2>take it off of Jay and put it back on Gunther,
<v Speaker 2>because you know what you're gonna get with Gunther and
<v Speaker 2>having gunn through the win the way he did, with
<v Speaker 2>the same way Jay did accept no tap out to
<v Speaker 2>protect j because he's a babyface. I thought it was
<v Speaker 2>the right if you're gonna have gun to win the
<v Speaker 2>right way. They're trying to rebuild Gunther. I think that
<v Speaker 2>this is an admission of their mistake to put the
<v Speaker 2>belt on Jay. They won't say that. They'll you know,
<v Speaker 2>you asked Triple H. You know what response are going
<v Speaker 2>to get these days, it's you enjoy the show. Thanks
<v Speaker 2>for the question. What a great question. I love this question.
<v Speaker 2>Shut up. It's just it's an admission of we screwed up.
<v Speaker 2>We're pivoting. That's exactly what this is. There's no other
<v Speaker 2>way to read this. There is no other way to
<v Speaker 2>read Jay or So dropping the championship last night, then
<v Speaker 2>wwe admitting without admitting it, we screwed up and we're
<v Speaker 2>changing course. That's it that there's no other other way
<v Speaker 2>to interpret this. Why not that Triple H is against
<v Speaker 2>the short reigns, but we've seen throughout his tenure since
<v Speaker 2>Vince left that he's generally been of the belief that
<v Speaker 2>title reigns should be long or certainly longer than the
<v Speaker 2>Vince McMahon era title reigns that sometimes were a month,
<v Speaker 2>two months, three months, six months was impossible. Right, So
<v Speaker 2>Triple Ah generally does not like short title reigns. We've
<v Speaker 2>seen that thus far, and the most damning evidence if
<v Speaker 2>you're w WE and you're trying not to admit that
<v Speaker 2>you've done made a mistake, and you're just changing course
<v Speaker 2>because it's not working, you put a championship on somebody
<v Speaker 2>that's never held the top championship at wrestle Mania. I
<v Speaker 2>cannot think of another time that somebody who is climbing
<v Speaker 2>the mountain that has not won a world title winning
<v Speaker 2>it at WrestleMania and dropping it this quickly two months later,
<v Speaker 2>fifty some days. I cannot think of another example. I
<v Speaker 2>have always said even SummerSlam is sometimes pushing it. It's
<v Speaker 2>a first real time. You can think of maybe the
<v Speaker 2>champions who have won it WrestleMania or retained to look
<v Speaker 2>at and circle the date and say, hey, this is
<v Speaker 2>the possible first time that they could drop the belt.
<v Speaker 2>But they even did that two months beforehand. Now they
<v Speaker 2>this is a crazy change of course. Here. Again, I
<v Speaker 2>haven't given you my thoughts yet on whether I think
<v Speaker 2>it's good or bad. I'm just giving you what I'm
<v Speaker 2>seeing based on the change itself. What this means as
<v Speaker 2>a company an admission of we done ft up. But
<v Speaker 2>here's the thing. I really in defense of Jay, and
<v Speaker 2>you guys know, I've been of the belief that I
<v Speaker 2>think Jay should not have been champion in the first place,
<v Speaker 2>and Gunther should have retained to WrestleMania. I do believe that.
<v Speaker 2>I still believe that despite what I've seen, the Crown
<v Speaker 2>has been behind Jay. The Crown's been behind Jay. It
<v Speaker 2>seems to be that management, the uppers don't like Jay.
<v Speaker 2>Because if we're told all the time that the fans
<v Speaker 2>of the ones holding the keys, the fans of the
<v Speaker 2>ones who decide who holds the bell who doesn't, it's
<v Speaker 2>on their shoulders. It's based on the reaction you get
<v Speaker 2>from fans. Well, the fans haven't been dropping support with Jay.
<v Speaker 2>In fact, they've been pretty steadfast with Jay every step
<v Speaker 2>of the way. There's been no booing, no silence. Jay
<v Speaker 2>has been over the yeat all of it. It has
<v Speaker 2>all been behind j There's been no downside, and even
<v Speaker 2>his matches have been exactly what you'd expect. The you know,
<v Speaker 2>the sixty seven super kicks and all the rest that
<v Speaker 2>come with a j Uso match. You know what you're
<v Speaker 2>getting there. His match quality is fine. I wouldn't say
<v Speaker 2>it's outstanding. I would say it's fine. It's enough, I
<v Speaker 2>think to have someone as champion to wrestle the way
<v Speaker 2>Jay does. I have nothing against his style other than
<v Speaker 2>the insane overuse of superkicks, but that's a larger issue.
<v Speaker 2>So when you look at it and you just zoom out,
<v Speaker 2>you're like, Okay, he has the crowd support. The crowd
<v Speaker 2>was generally behind him. Even somebody like myself who doesn't
<v Speaker 2>love Jay Usso understands it, and he's got the crowd
<v Speaker 2>support to back it up. And if that's the thing
<v Speaker 2>that can push you over the finish line despite what
<v Speaker 2>management thinks, then that's usually good enough. But in this case,
<v Speaker 2>management's overriding a lot of what the fans wanted, a
<v Speaker 2>lot of what the fans reacted to with Jay, and
<v Speaker 2>they're saying no, no, no, no, no, no, no, hold on,
<v Speaker 2>hold on, hold on. You think you know what you
<v Speaker 2>want here, we know what you want. You don't know
<v Speaker 2>what you want. We know what you want, or they
<v Speaker 2>felt that, hey, the fans are cheering for him because
<v Speaker 2>he's got this yeat thing. It's a gimmick. We need
<v Speaker 2>to be deeper than that. He doesn't feel like a
<v Speaker 2>real champion. And I've said he doesn't feel like a
<v Speaker 2>real champion, not to disrespect him, just to call a
<v Speaker 2>spade a spade. He has not felt like a real
<v Speaker 2>champion since he won the belt. Period. He hasn't. He
<v Speaker 2>hasn't been an embarrassment, it hasn't been an outrage. It's
<v Speaker 2>just felt out of place for Jay, as if his
<v Speaker 2>character is not quite there. Despite all of his assets,
<v Speaker 2>all of his accomplishments, he still doesn't feel like he's there.
<v Speaker 2>And the company clearly felt the same way too. Instead
<v Speaker 2>of letting it ride, maybe to even SummerSlam, they cut
<v Speaker 2>it as short as I've ever seen any WrestleMania title
<v Speaker 2>change get cut. It's pretty crazy. Now, is this the
<v Speaker 2>right move? I think it is nothing against Jay, but
<v Speaker 2>I think it's the right move. Gunther feels like a
<v Speaker 2>champion even without a belt. You still just assume he's
<v Speaker 2>champion of something. I think that what they need to
<v Speaker 2>do is now that they put the belt back on Gunther.
<v Speaker 2>I hope the plan isn't to have him drop it
<v Speaker 2>to someone at SummerSlam. Now that you've tried to correct
<v Speaker 2>Horse and go back to Gunther it number one, it
<v Speaker 2>tells you that they feel like they shouldn't have had
<v Speaker 2>Jay do what he did at WrestleMania by having Gunther
<v Speaker 2>tap terrible decision. I think that was an admission last night,
<v Speaker 2>and also having Jay lose on Raw not even a
<v Speaker 2>pl So what they need to do is put Gunther
<v Speaker 2>back on the map, not that he's fallen off, but
<v Speaker 2>put him back at least the best you can to
<v Speaker 2>try to put the genie back in the bottle and
<v Speaker 2>have him be a killer. Where he goes on this streak,
<v Speaker 2>he starts dominating matches. He's found this new aggression, He's
<v Speaker 2>got this new source of power that's just nobody seemed
<v Speaker 2>can seem to overcome. They need to get back to
<v Speaker 2>guntherro being gun through. I don't want this wishy washy
<v Speaker 2>he's scared of Damian Priest. He taps out to Jay
<v Speaker 2>Usso in a choke hold. No no no, no, no no.
<v Speaker 2>They need to never allow us to see those moments
<v Speaker 2>again with Gunther and get back to basics of what
<v Speaker 2>made him special. And that is dominance. He's a bad
<v Speaker 2>guy that can actually outright beat the good guy without cheating,
<v Speaker 2>without any interference, without any foreign objects, without the referees
<v Speaker 2>back being turned, without a low blow. He's a guy
<v Speaker 2>that can actually just outright beat the good guy. Those
<v Speaker 2>are rare, but it's possible, and it should be used
<v Speaker 2>more often than it is today. And Gunther is a
<v Speaker 2>believable guy to fit that role. So I think that's
<v Speaker 2>that's what they need to get back into doing with him.
<v Speaker 2>They need to get back to having him just be
<v Speaker 2>that guy, be the guy that felt unbeatable at one
<v Speaker 2>point before. Really Sammy's Ain beat him at WrestleMania forty
<v Speaker 2>last year. So and also they need to stop having
<v Speaker 2>Gunther lose at WrestleMania. I keep saying this because Gunther
<v Speaker 2>is not at the end of his career. He's not
<v Speaker 2>a veteran at the end of his career with a
<v Speaker 2>bad injury. He's not. He's still barely in his prime.
<v Speaker 2>He's not a guy that should be giving back to
<v Speaker 2>the business yet in the sense of losing to this
<v Speaker 2>to younger babyfaces. He's not there yet. He's not in
<v Speaker 2>a John Cena role. He's still relatively young. He can
<v Speaker 2>put on five star matches. We've seen it. We've seen
<v Speaker 2>him do it with Gable. Again, depends on your definition
<v Speaker 2>of five star. But Gable Shamus, we've seen it. So
<v Speaker 2>we need just a wrestling purest badass. So there's my
<v Speaker 2>open for what nearly fifteen minutes talking about Gunther and Jay.
<v Speaker 2>But the match was fine. But again, it's not even
<v Speaker 2>really about the quality of the matcher. No one's talking
<v Speaker 2>about the quality of the match here. No one's doing
<v Speaker 2>to play by playing the match. It is about the decision.
<v Speaker 2>It's about what is WWE doing? Where are they going?
<v Speaker 2>Was this the right decision? And I just gave you
<v Speaker 2>my thoughts on that. Let me know what you guys think.
<v Speaker 2>Do you think it was the right decision of having
<v Speaker 2>Jay drop the belt this quick after WrestleMania really an
<v Speaker 2>unprecedented move. I'm not trying to be over dramatic, but
<v Speaker 2>I maybe somebody out there who's a smarter person than
<v Speaker 2>I am can figure this out. Has there been somebody
<v Speaker 2>who has been chasing the belt up till WrestleMania? They
<v Speaker 2>have the blowoff and the first time they win it,
<v Speaker 2>not fifth, sixth, seventh, I'm talking the first time that
<v Speaker 2>they've won it, having them drop it so soon after
<v Speaker 2>WrestleMania barring any kind of injury. Again, I'm not talking
<v Speaker 2>about somebody who injured. I'm talking about just purely storyline
<v Speaker 2>change pivot. Has it ever happened? I don't think so,
<v Speaker 2>not to my knowledge. WrestleMania to SummerSlam is usually the
<v Speaker 2>very the shortest increment of time that I can think
<v Speaker 2>of in which the person who wanted at WrestleMania is
<v Speaker 2>in any kind of jeopardy for the first time of
<v Speaker 2>dropping it. So let me know what you guys think.
<v Speaker 2>Quite an interesting decision by WWE last night on Raw.
<v Speaker 2>All right, so let's start at the beginning here. I
<v Speaker 2>know we have Nicki Bella to talk about. I could
<v Speaker 2>care less. I'm in Live Morgan's corner all the way
<v Speaker 2>and we'll get to that. But John Cena comes out
<v Speaker 2>and John Cena called the fans keyboard warriors. He mocked
<v Speaker 2>them for thinking they have an influence, and he barked
<v Speaker 2>that this is his retirement tour, counted down the remaining
<v Speaker 2>dates of nineteen and Sina said that from our Truth
<v Speaker 2>to Cody Roads, to Randy Orton, Orton Or he has
<v Speaker 2>shut the mouths of the fans and beaten their best.
<v Speaker 2>And that's when seam punk comes out. But before before
<v Speaker 2>we get the punk well saying his that our words
<v Speaker 2>don't matter, thinking they have influence. Well, I mean, I
<v Speaker 2>don't know if this is just him being his heel
<v Speaker 2>character or WWE speaking through him, But actually, no truth
<v Speaker 2>is here. Ron Killings is here directly and solely because
<v Speaker 2>of the fans, not because w W WE had any
<v Speaker 2>intention of bringing him back. So no, actually, fans have
<v Speaker 2>a ton of influence. Also, we may have had a
<v Speaker 2>little bit of a hand in changing the main event
<v Speaker 2>of WrestleMania forty, remember that whole thing. I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>Maybe maybe ww's a little bit too short minded here,
<v Speaker 2>their memories lapsed a bit, but there might have been
<v Speaker 2>something going on there where. Remind me again, I can't
<v Speaker 2>remember some hashtag and we want I don't know his name,
<v Speaker 2>So something rings a bellt WrestleMania forty where the fans
<v Speaker 2>actually change the entire main event of WrestleMania forty. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>so anyway, but then they'll tell us in the same
<v Speaker 2>breath that we should just shut up and enjoy the product.
<v Speaker 2>Yet we also have the power to change the main
<v Speaker 2>event of wrestle Mania kind of interesting. And let me
<v Speaker 2>just say this, okay, because I hammer Triple H and rightfully,
<v Speaker 2>so I take nothing back for what I said about
<v Speaker 2>Triple H with his just double speak and his really
<v Speaker 2>disrespect to fans of you know, he's in a weird
<v Speaker 2>place where he's trying to defend the company but also
<v Speaker 2>not give fans too much credit and enable them to
<v Speaker 2>start chanting names of people they fired and thinking they're
<v Speaker 2>going to bring them back instead of precedent. I get it,
<v Speaker 2>but you know, I understand it. But Triple H, you know,
<v Speaker 2>he has been really speaking out of both sides of
<v Speaker 2>his mouth where he's like, yeah, shut up and enjoy
<v Speaker 2>the product. But also I think he's saying, shut up
<v Speaker 2>and enjoy the because if you guys create any sort
<v Speaker 2>of movement, we'll be we'll have the unfortunate task of
<v Speaker 2>trying to pivot when we had this great story laid
<v Speaker 2>out and now you guys think you no better and
<v Speaker 2>now we have to change. I mean, he's probably so
<v Speaker 2>frustrated with the fans at this point. It is. It's
<v Speaker 2>kind of a secret war. Yet we're all on the
<v Speaker 2>same page of trying to create a great product. It's interesting.
<v Speaker 2>But my point is what I was gonna say. We
<v Speaker 2>I don't care who it is. I don't care if
<v Speaker 2>it's a president of TKO. I don't care if every
<v Speaker 2>Board of Director member stands up and gives a twenty
<v Speaker 2>minute speech about how you wrestling. Real wrestling fans aren't
<v Speaker 2>complaining on Twitter, and we don't listen to the negativity
<v Speaker 2>or or the keyboard warriors aren't real fans, and and
<v Speaker 2>you know we don't listen. We don't. We don't pay
<v Speaker 2>attention to the garbage online nonsense. Sure you do. If
<v Speaker 2>you told me you didn't care about social media, then
<v Speaker 2>why do you constantly tout how many followers you have,
<v Speaker 2>how many views this had, or how many millions of
<v Speaker 2>views that this particular video broke records? Of of course
<v Speaker 2>they care about social media. Of course they do. But
<v Speaker 2>they're trying not to enable fans to be able to
<v Speaker 2>really light a flame for people to complain. Right. They
<v Speaker 2>don't want to start the fire. They don't want to
<v Speaker 2>start the fire of fans being able to go online
<v Speaker 2>and just voice their opinions and start complaining, and then
<v Speaker 2>WWE has no choice but to react. Social media is
<v Speaker 2>of course, they have teams dedicated to posting on social media.
<v Speaker 2>They post about every fifteen minutes about something. You don't
<v Speaker 2>think there's a team that reports back to TKO about
<v Speaker 2>trends and hashtags that are trending and just general criticism
<v Speaker 2>that's being brought up by the comp by fans to
<v Speaker 2>the company. Of course there is, of course. Now do
<v Speaker 2>they take action on everything that the fans criticize. Of
<v Speaker 2>course they don't, and I wouldn't either. But when fans
<v Speaker 2>speak in numbers, that's when they get scared. They get
<v Speaker 2>scared because there is power in numbers. We proved it
<v Speaker 2>with the ultimate test of changing the main event of
<v Speaker 2>the biggest pl of their entire year, and it turned
<v Speaker 2>out to be the right choice. Why it was one
<v Speaker 2>of the best WrestleMania main events. At least A lot
<v Speaker 2>of people said that I don't think it was, but
<v Speaker 2>a lot of people agreed that it was one of
<v Speaker 2>the best finishes to a WrestleMania Maine event. Ever, so
<v Speaker 2>it turns out, hey, I guess we were right on
<v Speaker 2>that one. When I say weed the fans, I don't
<v Speaker 2>mean me because I wasn't. I wasn't in the we
<v Speaker 2>want Cody hashtag family. I wasn't there, and I have
<v Speaker 2>no regrets. But my point is they're trying to downplay
<v Speaker 2>social media and the negativity that some people put out there,
<v Speaker 2>the criticism that some people put out there, because they
<v Speaker 2>know that if it catches on, they're going to be
<v Speaker 2>forced to take action. So anyway, just shut up and
<v Speaker 2>enjoy the product. Don't you criticize. Just shut up and
<v Speaker 2>you're gonna you're gonna like everything we give you. All right,
<v Speaker 2>So Seampunk comes out, and he said that he wants
<v Speaker 2>John Cena to be comfortable because he has a lot
<v Speaker 2>of things to get off his chest. That's a callback,
<v Speaker 2>by the way, to his promo, the pipe bomb promo
<v Speaker 2>against John Cena. If you remember, in the pipe Bomb promo,
<v Speaker 2>he said, he hopes John Cena is as uncomfortable as
<v Speaker 2>he can be because he's a lot of things he
<v Speaker 2>wants to get off his chest. Obviously a callback to
<v Speaker 2>the pipe bomb promo in Vegas. How many years ago,
<v Speaker 2>fourteen years ago? Whatever? It was crazy, right, crazy? How
<v Speaker 2>we're still here. We're still having John Cena and Ciampunk
<v Speaker 2>cut promos from twenty eleven. We're here. It's crazy. So
<v Speaker 2>he said he's not defending the establishment. He's not standing
<v Speaker 2>for TKO or defending the billionaires. He said, he's defending
<v Speaker 2>the people. He asked Sena if he's mad because the
<v Speaker 2>establishment picks Seena but the fans never did, which is
<v Speaker 2>actually that's not true. I mean, the fans generally were
<v Speaker 2>solidly behind John Cena. He has had moments of negativity,
<v Speaker 2>his match against Triple H. I think it was at
<v Speaker 2>Wrestling A twenty two he got booted out of the building,
<v Speaker 2>the infamous One Night Stand against Rob Van Damino six
<v Speaker 2>that was just I mean, it was a complete blowout
<v Speaker 2>for John Cena. Even his victory at ne Year's Revolution
<v Speaker 2>two thousand and six, which I was at attendance for,
<v Speaker 2>he got booed out of the building and then Edge
<v Speaker 2>got cheered when he won the Money in the Bank
<v Speaker 2>or cash in Money in the Bank and beat John
<v Speaker 2>Cen for the championship. So you know, that is just
<v Speaker 2>not true. I mean, outside of just some of these
<v Speaker 2>singular events, there's been a general pretty damn solid support
<v Speaker 2>for John Cena. So anyway, Punks said that he was
<v Speaker 2>wasn't there to kiss the final Boss's ass, like Sena
<v Speaker 2>and Punk said, the people are his boss, and he
<v Speaker 2>Sena held up the belt. Punk said it's his job
<v Speaker 2>to get the people what they want, and if they
<v Speaker 2>want the truth, I'm gonna give them wrong killings. And
<v Speaker 2>Punk recalled Sena apologizing to him when he choked him
<v Speaker 2>out during the chamber and Punk said that when he
<v Speaker 2>takes the title off Sena, he'll spend the days apologizing
<v Speaker 2>for the man he's become. He said the belt corrupted him,
<v Speaker 2>and Punk said he knows that because the belt turned
<v Speaker 2>him into a monster in twenty twelve, and said he's
<v Speaker 2>afraid of the man he becomes when he has the belt,
<v Speaker 2>but says he now knows he has to become a
<v Speaker 2>monster to stop the monster. And he said that Sena
<v Speaker 2>has eighteen deaths dates, not deaths dates left. After tonight,
<v Speaker 2>he said he would leave it up to the fans
<v Speaker 2>or Seen it to decide where that or when he
<v Speaker 2>takes the title off his shoulder, he suggested tonight, and
<v Speaker 2>then if, of course, you know, John Seen is not
<v Speaker 2>going to say yes, he teased it, but how are
<v Speaker 2>the fans still falling for this? I mean, it's been
<v Speaker 2>decades upon decades upon decades. When is the last time
<v Speaker 2>a heal in terms of defending their championship, gave the
<v Speaker 2>fans all they want. When does that happen the last time?
<v Speaker 2>When is the last time, especially a marquee match of
<v Speaker 2>this caliber? Are people in the arena that delusional? The
<v Speaker 2>only champion chance you have, the only chance you have
<v Speaker 2>of something like that happening on the fly is if
<v Speaker 2>you are in a top tier market, you're in a
<v Speaker 2>top tier arena, like you're in Madison Square Garden. That's
<v Speaker 2>probably one of the only few places that it's even
<v Speaker 2>remotely possible that a match like that would happen on
<v Speaker 2>the fly unadvertised. Even even then, there's not a good chance,
<v Speaker 2>But the fans still buy in hook line and Sinker.
<v Speaker 2>How are the fans still doing this? I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>Is it just do they think they have some kind
<v Speaker 2>of ability over booking and over the guys in the
<v Speaker 2>ring to have them change their mind that, yeah, we
<v Speaker 2>weren't gonna do it, but boy, they really want it,
<v Speaker 2>so I guess, I guess we'll do it. Gosh darn no.
<v Speaker 2>But I just I don't get it. I don't get it.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, if I'm in the arena, I wouldn't cheer
<v Speaker 2>a Boo. I would just sit there and go, hey,
<v Speaker 2>look gain I know we'll get teased with it. It is
<v Speaker 2>not gonna happen. How are the fans even reacting to
<v Speaker 2>this in disappointment? Is this your first time at a
<v Speaker 2>wrestling event? Okay, sorry Phoenix, Sorry Phoenix. I'm not picking
<v Speaker 2>on you specifically, but you are the latest example of
<v Speaker 2>just I don't understand how people are still falling for this. However,
<v Speaker 2>we then have seth Rollins come out. He didn't say anything,
<v Speaker 2>and he just held up his briefcase as like, hey,
<v Speaker 2>don't forget guys, I'm still here. So let me add
<v Speaker 2>a graphic for the King of the Ring fatal four
<v Speaker 2>way matches for King of the Ring, I should say,
<v Speaker 2>the winner of tonight's Sammy versus Penta versus bron Breaker
<v Speaker 2>versus Don will face the winner of Randy Orton versus
<v Speaker 2>l Knight versus Alist Black versus Carmelo Hayes in the
<v Speaker 2>semi finals, and the other side of the bracket as Cody, Damien,
<v Speaker 2>Andrade and Shinske facing the winner of Seamus russev. Bronson
<v Speaker 2>and a mystery final entrant. So that's good. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>they're continuing with King of the Ring. That's a positive
<v Speaker 2>if you are you know, if you've put stock in
<v Speaker 2>the King of the Ring winner, which I honestly don't.
<v Speaker 2>But it's just I guess they want to make it
<v Speaker 2>an annual tradition. Fine, yeah, but really, if there's nothing
<v Speaker 2>on the line of like, hey, you get a future
<v Speaker 2>title opportunity at a day and time to be disclosed,
<v Speaker 2>I'd be cool with that. It's not like money in
<v Speaker 2>the bank where you can cash it in, but it
<v Speaker 2>just kind of it's money in the bank in a
<v Speaker 2>different sense. It's insurance, right. It's just saying, hey, yes,
<v Speaker 2>this is securing you a title opportunity over the next
<v Speaker 2>twelve months at a day and time to be disclosed,
<v Speaker 2>but you can't cash it in whenever you want. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>that's what they should say. It just give you some
<v Speaker 2>kind of prize something. I know. It's similar to money
<v Speaker 2>in the bank, but it's not because you can't call
<v Speaker 2>your shot. It's management who will decide. I guess the
<v Speaker 2>powers that be when you get your shot at a championship,
<v Speaker 2>and maybe they just say a championship, not top championship.
<v Speaker 2>You know, keep it really open, but give the winners
<v Speaker 2>some kind of prize other than you know, playing dress
<v Speaker 2>up with a crown and a scepter, you know, like
<v Speaker 2>a real tangible prize. Didn't they did they do that
<v Speaker 2>last year? Because I was complaining about it. I feel
<v Speaker 2>like maybe they didn't. But if they don't have a prize,
<v Speaker 2>there should be one, all right. So punkin Seen has
<v Speaker 2>happen at Saudi Arabia at Night of Champions. That's where
<v Speaker 2>we're going. And yeah, so Saudi Saudi Arabia gets c'mpunk
<v Speaker 2>and John Cena take that for what you will. Mm
<v Speaker 2>hmm okay. AJ Styles versus Chad Gable Julius Creed Brutus
<v Speaker 2>Creed also there at Styles call Gable the dropkick to
<v Speaker 2>open the match, and the finish was Gable putting Styles
<v Speaker 2>in the ankle lock. Styles rolled out of the hole
<v Speaker 2>just like everyone else does because they just do. And
<v Speaker 2>Styles hit a quick Styles clash and got the victory.
<v Speaker 2>After the match, Barrett dubbed the speedy Styles clash as
<v Speaker 2>a flash clash. Eh nah, no, no thanks, I'm not
<v Speaker 2>I'm sorry. Good good try, Barrett, good try, but I'm
<v Speaker 2>not on board for that. So j AJ Styles and
<v Speaker 2>Chad Gable, I will say I wish it was a
<v Speaker 2>little more competitive on Dad Gable's side. Remember the guy
<v Speaker 2>that nearly beat Gun there for the Intercontinental Championship a
<v Speaker 2>couple of years ago in that awesome series of matches
<v Speaker 2>that I hope at some point they get back to.
<v Speaker 2>Remember that guy. He's getting beat pretty handily now. Aj
<v Speaker 2>Stiles is certainly a big star in the business, but
<v Speaker 2>I just would like Chad Gave it'll be a little
<v Speaker 2>bit more competitive. Book him a little more competitively. The
<v Speaker 2>guy is just so much fun to watch. Okay. We
<v Speaker 2>then have Live Morgan warming up in Gorilla for her
<v Speaker 2>match when Roxanne Perez showed up, tried to talk to her,
<v Speaker 2>and she was pretty dismissive. She said she'd beat Perez,
<v Speaker 2>win the tournament and take back her championship. And it's
<v Speaker 2>just more tension being built. So then we got Ria
<v Speaker 2>Ripley versus Live Morgan versus Kyrie Sane versus Roxanne Perez
<v Speaker 2>in a four way Queen of the Ring match, and
<v Speaker 2>this match went nearly thirteen minutes with having Roxanne empres
<v Speaker 2>win beating Kyrie Ripley and Live to advance, which is
<v Speaker 2>really not a surprise. Again, these matches this tournament is
<v Speaker 2>not meant typically for people that are already established stars.
<v Speaker 2>It's it's kind of a consolation prize again with no
<v Speaker 2>actual tangible prize, with WWE kind of giving you a
<v Speaker 2>bit of a clue as to who they are going
<v Speaker 2>to try to, you know, maybe focus on over the
<v Speaker 2>next several months. It's kind of w w's way of
<v Speaker 2>giving somebody a prize without something that is, you know
<v Speaker 2>that ww's locked into, like oh crap, we made him
<v Speaker 2>champion or her champion and we probably shouldn't have. It's
<v Speaker 2>more of just a signal of, hey, we've got our
<v Speaker 2>eye on this person. It's also another prize like money
<v Speaker 2>in the bank, that is very much heal heavy, because
<v Speaker 2>it's a prize that a heel can glote about, while
<v Speaker 2>baby faces shouldn't really sit and pretend to be kings
<v Speaker 2>and queens for months. It rarely works outside of King
<v Speaker 2>Booka right in Queen Charmel, which was I mean, that's
<v Speaker 2>a once in a lifetime adaptation that just was a
<v Speaker 2>perfect evolution for k Bookert's character. But most of the
<v Speaker 2>time it doesn't work. They adopt a fake British accent,
<v Speaker 2>they call everybody's subjects, They carry a scepter. They're suddenly
<v Speaker 2>drunk with power when they have absolutely no power. There's
<v Speaker 2>nothing there. It's just it doesn't work. Look at Lenavega,
<v Speaker 2>remember what she did. She won, and that really didn't
<v Speaker 2>do anything but hurt her character. Granted she's champion now,
<v Speaker 2>but still at the time, it doesn't usually work, and
<v Speaker 2>it's meant for heels to win, So I wouldn't be
<v Speaker 2>surprised to see a heel win both of these tournaments.
<v Speaker 2>Ree Ripley, You think Rea Ripley would gain anything from
<v Speaker 2>being Queen of the Ring? No, No, these are meant
<v Speaker 2>for stars that are not yet at the time at
<v Speaker 2>the game. So this match was fine by the way.
<v Speaker 2>Late in the match, Ripley hit riptid on Morgan, but
<v Speaker 2>Raquel showed up, pulled Ripley out of the ring, and
<v Speaker 2>then Ripley and Rodriguez fought at ringside until Kyrie dove
<v Speaker 2>onto them, onto them, which slammed them to the floor.
<v Speaker 2>So again, the match was okay. I will say that
<v Speaker 2>the finish was not great, with Ripley and Rodriguez fighting
<v Speaker 2>at ringside with some of the worst punches I've ever
<v Speaker 2>seen anyone throw at all in a professional wrestling ring.
<v Speaker 2>At Ripley's level. Ripley, just watch it in real time.
<v Speaker 2>I'm sorry, but I'm calling it like it is, Like
<v Speaker 2>I'm only saying it because it was that bad. And
<v Speaker 2>then having those two like they were throwing those slow
<v Speaker 2>motion punches, phony punches that I've ever seen, maybe even
<v Speaker 2>worse than bron Breaker in his punches that he gave
<v Speaker 2>who was it? Was it jay Uso or I can't know, Cody?
<v Speaker 2>Was it Cody a couple of weeks ago when he
<v Speaker 2>first joined Seth's group. I mean, some of those punches
<v Speaker 2>were horrible. These were just as bad, if not worse
<v Speaker 2>by Ripley, and even Raquel didn't reciprocate well. And then
<v Speaker 2>they're both standing there just watching, looking up at Kyrie
<v Speaker 2>waiting for her to jump. Sorry, it was horrible. That
<v Speaker 2>spot was just bad. The match was eh. But I'm
<v Speaker 2>gonna put in the negativity aside and say that I
<v Speaker 2>think it's good for Rock san Perez, who continues to
<v Speaker 2>use the judgment day to build her platform, give herself
<v Speaker 2>a personality. She's got a little spat going on with
<v Speaker 2>Live and Doms in the middle of things. Is he
<v Speaker 2>gonna do what he did to uh? Is he gonna
<v Speaker 2>do what he did to Ripley and then do it
<v Speaker 2>to live. Is he gonna have a history repeats itself
<v Speaker 2>kind of moment. Once a cheater, always a cheater. That
<v Speaker 2>kind of thing very possible. It's very possible. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>I'll get to live in a moment. But okay, So
<v Speaker 2>we have then a World's Collide video package air and
<v Speaker 2>c WWE boasting four point one million YouTube views. But
<v Speaker 2>they don't care about social media, they'll tell you. So
<v Speaker 2>we then have let's see Nicki Bella video air and
<v Speaker 2>she was greeted. Nicki greeted Maxine Dupree and Italia, and
<v Speaker 2>that's when Becky Lynch comes out, and again Nikki is backstage.
<v Speaker 2>But Becky comes out and said the title belt became
<v Speaker 2>her biggest prize in wrestling because she holds it, and
<v Speaker 2>she said she should have spent the weekend celebrating with
<v Speaker 2>her husband and daughter, but Lyra ruined everything, and Lynch
<v Speaker 2>demanded that Valkyia come out and apologize. So Lyra comes out,
<v Speaker 2>but Bailey, yes, Bailey, I didn't misspeak, comes in the ring,
<v Speaker 2>hits Lynch from behind, hits get you know, gets a
<v Speaker 2>couple of shots in and then Becky avoided Bailey's finish,
<v Speaker 2>hopped to the barricade, made her exit. So Bailey, Yes,
<v Speaker 2>Bailey and Becky Lynch are on a collision course. Now
<v Speaker 2>they'll probably throw Lyra in there for good measure, because
<v Speaker 2>you have to keep on her momentum, which she does
<v Speaker 2>have some. I mean, Lyra's really made strides over the
<v Speaker 2>last several months, and they got to keep her in
<v Speaker 2>the picture here. Not that I want her to capture
<v Speaker 2>the belt back, but to continue to just get airtime
<v Speaker 2>and be in big matches and have her work with
<v Speaker 2>talent like Becky and now like Bailey. So I think
<v Speaker 2>it'll be a triple threat, a triple threat for the
<v Speaker 2>Women's Intercontinental Championship at night of champions That's my that's
<v Speaker 2>my guess. Probably slam Dunk I would say, I'm not one.
<v Speaker 2>So Our Truth, Yes, Our Truth, hopped onto the broadcast
<v Speaker 2>table and told the fans not to let anyone say
<v Speaker 2>their voices don't matter. I'm back because of y'all. And
<v Speaker 2>Truth added that the fans didn't just bring Truth back,
<v Speaker 2>they have him. We all love our truth, he said,
<v Speaker 2>I love our truth too. Our truth can be too
<v Speaker 2>funny all the time. Our Truth can be too nice
<v Speaker 2>and he's too forgiving. Not me. I wish you would.
<v Speaker 2>I feel different, I feel alive. And for any of
<v Speaker 2>you that thinks I'm a liar and you think I'm
<v Speaker 2>a sideshow act, you think I'm a gimmick, he put
<v Speaker 2>the mic down, took a pair of scissors and cut
<v Speaker 2>off his braids. The fans chanted with an Holy s chant.
<v Speaker 2>I think the first time I've ever heard the fans
<v Speaker 2>chant holy s for a haircut. That's a first. But
<v Speaker 2>our Truth has our truth, The truth has set me free,
<v Speaker 2>he said. I am Ron Killings, I am the Truth,
<v Speaker 2>the whole truth, and nothing but the Truth. Now put
<v Speaker 2>some respect in my name, and he exited via the crowd.
<v Speaker 2>So I'm split on this number one. I think Our
<v Speaker 2>Truth Ron Killings being back is a net positive. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>there's no way to look at this other than just
<v Speaker 2>it's it's great to have Ron Killings back. The man,
<v Speaker 2>it's great. And the our Truth character is a beloved
<v Speaker 2>character that will definitely go into the Hall of Fame. Definitely, okay,
<v Speaker 2>But the question becomes our truth is what the fans loved,
<v Speaker 2>That's what the fans fell in love with, was this
<v Speaker 2>character now that they're bringing Ron Killings to the table here,
<v Speaker 2>is that a good choice to change up? Like, our
<v Speaker 2>truth is what brought you to the dance. It got
<v Speaker 2>you to the dance. Now you're going to change up
<v Speaker 2>what got you to the dance by being Ron Killings.
<v Speaker 2>It's a gamble. It's a gamble because the fans love
<v Speaker 2>our truth and what our truth is, and his jokes
<v Speaker 2>and his humor, and it's kind of yeah, the very
<v Speaker 2>forgiving attitude and our truth. Ron Killings admitted that, like, hey,
<v Speaker 2>my character is kind of too lucy goosey, too easy going.
<v Speaker 2>It's time for an edge. So I wonder how the
<v Speaker 2>fans are going to react to Ron Killings now that
<v Speaker 2>essentially our truth has been killed dead. I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know. I hope there's a plan here. I
<v Speaker 2>hope for Ron Killings. There's a plan for Ron Killings
<v Speaker 2>and not just hey, I cut off the braids pretty extreme, huh,
<v Speaker 2>So what are we doing with you? I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>We'll figure it out, kid. I hope that's not the plan.
<v Speaker 2>And now I do believe, now that we have our
<v Speaker 2>Truth back or Ron Killings, we'll see how they exactly
<v Speaker 2>they address him or how you know, does he want
<v Speaker 2>to be called Ron Killings, Does he want to be
<v Speaker 2>called Our Truth? I don't know yet. We'll learn in
<v Speaker 2>the coming weeks. But now that we have him back,
<v Speaker 2>let's make him champion. And I'm being serious, have Ron
<v Speaker 2>Killings get his moment, even if it's an extremely short run.
<v Speaker 2>The fans would love it. Ron Killings would love it. Legitimately,
<v Speaker 2>he's deserving of it. I'm not saying he'll be the
<v Speaker 2>face of the company. He's certainly not the youngest guy
<v Speaker 2>on the roster. He's got the organic support that is
<v Speaker 2>It's one of the most invaluable things you can have
<v Speaker 2>as a wrestler. Is that just organic connection that happens
<v Speaker 2>and you can't explain why, but it's just there, Like
<v Speaker 2>Daniel Bryan, like Our Truth, there's just that connection that
<v Speaker 2>you have that it supersedes anything going on in story.
<v Speaker 2>It just exists. And Our Truth has that. Ron Killings
<v Speaker 2>has that. So I hope that they don't misstep here
<v Speaker 2>and stub their toe and try something with Ron Killings
<v Speaker 2>that really made damage what they had with Our Truth.
<v Speaker 2>I'm rooting for him. I'm rooting for him. I truly am,
<v Speaker 2>and I really would. I'm guessing his contract is probably
<v Speaker 2>a year. That's my guess. It's probably not exactly a
<v Speaker 2>long term, multi year deal. I don't think it is,
<v Speaker 2>wouldn't you know. I think it's probably a one year
<v Speaker 2>and then they'll reevaluate. But my guess is that with
<v Speaker 2>that one year deal, they hopefully have some plans in
<v Speaker 2>there to maybe maybe make him champion for a short period.
<v Speaker 2>Let him and the fans have that moment. I don't
<v Speaker 2>care if it's a week, a month, it just needs
<v Speaker 2>to happen. So then we have let's see here some
<v Speaker 2>backstage stuff with liv and Roquelle backstage uh Seth Rollins
<v Speaker 2>speaking to Broun, Breaker and Bronson Reader inside their dressing
<v Speaker 2>him room while Paul Hammond stood by. Rollins was firing
<v Speaker 2>up Breaker. Dom and Sammy and Braun and Penta had
<v Speaker 2>a four way a fatal four way for the King
<v Speaker 2>of the Ring match. This match went seventeen minutes with
<v Speaker 2>Sammy Zain winning here against Dom, Braun and Penta in
<v Speaker 2>a foidal final four way. Kind of surprising here. I
<v Speaker 2>figured Penta would be the one to advance, but Sammy
<v Speaker 2>was the one too, and hey, he can have a
<v Speaker 2>good match with Anybody and the finish here though, was
<v Speaker 2>La Knight appearing at ringside and hitting Breaker with a
<v Speaker 2>BFT in the ring, Zay hit Dom with an exploder
<v Speaker 2>Suplex and a hlubakick and got the three count. So
<v Speaker 2>La Knight running interference. At least he pretended he shouldn't
<v Speaker 2>have been at the show. It's awesome seeing La Knight
<v Speaker 2>on Raw. As I've said forever, he just he feels
<v Speaker 2>more right on Raw. But at least he pretended he
<v Speaker 2>wasn't supposed to be there where. He made a quick
<v Speaker 2>run in, hit his finish and ran over the barricade.
<v Speaker 2>That's how if you're pretending you have a brand split,
<v Speaker 2>you do it. That's how you do it instead of
<v Speaker 2>just standing in the ring leisurely while all the production
<v Speaker 2>team and camera guys, everybody just you know, security, everyone
<v Speaker 2>just you know, pretends it's normal. You know you're supposed
<v Speaker 2>to be there. It's fine. This is how you do it.
<v Speaker 2>A quick run in. They even should have had security
<v Speaker 2>chase him, right, but fine, I'll deal with that. I
<v Speaker 2>liked how they did this and La Night being unraw
<v Speaker 2>was certainly a surprise, and having him a hit Breaker
<v Speaker 2>with the BFT was also a fun a fun program
<v Speaker 2>that got going on there. But La Knight, despite the
<v Speaker 2>fact that he continues to get good crowd support, I
<v Speaker 2>really thought that the loss at money in the bank
<v Speaker 2>could be the nail in his coffin in terms of
<v Speaker 2>his the ceiling of his career where fans believe he
<v Speaker 2>could go, not that he's gonna fall off and the
<v Speaker 2>crowd's gonna stop reacting to him and that you know,
<v Speaker 2>he's gonna be fired. No, I just think that that
<v Speaker 2>cemented what ww WE sees him as in terms of
<v Speaker 2>the ceiling of how high he can go. It's it
<v Speaker 2>seems cemented. But I hope I'm wrong, But at least
<v Speaker 2>for the time being, for the foreseeable future, it kind
<v Speaker 2>of told us, yeah, yeah, okay, fine, he's you know,
<v Speaker 2>he's not gonna be champion. He's just gonna muddle around
<v Speaker 2>the United States title picture, maybe make a change to
<v Speaker 2>Raw and then chase the inter Continental title. But so
<v Speaker 2>we then have let's see the Nikki Bella segment here
<v Speaker 2>she comes out in the third hour. She talked about
<v Speaker 2>w B evolution, and she recalled the first evolution and
<v Speaker 2>spoke about the female stars who have come along since then,
<v Speaker 2>and she said that she and the first she and
<v Speaker 2>the women from the past couldn't be prouder of today's
<v Speaker 2>female wrestlers. Yeah, okay, well they don't need that because sorry,
<v Speaker 2>you guys did precisely nothing to set the table. Sorry, Niki,
<v Speaker 2>your stripper dance to you know, coming down the ramp
<v Speaker 2>didn't exactly spark the women's revolution. Sorry to say, we
<v Speaker 2>don't need your your your applause and I say we
<v Speaker 2>speaking on behalf of the women. I'm sure they need
<v Speaker 2>me to speak on behalf of them, right, But yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I don't know. Can you tell them not a nicky
<v Speaker 2>Nikki fan? Can you tell? I mean? And don't you
<v Speaker 2>also wonder what the what the potential tension was backstage
<v Speaker 2>between Nicki and Johnson and did they did they cross
<v Speaker 2>each other in the hallway? I mean, I'm sure they
<v Speaker 2>were cordial if they saw each other, but you can't
<v Speaker 2>tell me with the relationship that they had. But you know,
<v Speaker 2>seeing them seeing each other backstage, which I'm again I'm
<v Speaker 2>sure they did that, they're still not kind of like, oh,
<v Speaker 2>this is weird, you know, Nicki and john sena backstage
<v Speaker 2>for the first time. I don't even know the last
<v Speaker 2>time John Cena, Nikki h Nicki Bella was backstage, would
<v Speaker 2>have been a fly on the wall for that one.
<v Speaker 2>But lift Morgan comes out through a tantrum about not
<v Speaker 2>being listed among the biggest female stars, and she came
<v Speaker 2>to the ring and said Nicki was lucky that she
<v Speaker 2>wasn't around during her era because she would have beaten
<v Speaker 2>her for the title. And Morgan said Nicki didn't mention
<v Speaker 2>her because she's jealous and that she has everything Nicki
<v Speaker 2>doesn't have, respect, championship and a man. Nicki said she's
<v Speaker 2>trying to figure out whether Morgan's man belongs to live
<v Speaker 2>or Roxanne. And Nicki told Morgan to congratulate Perez for
<v Speaker 2>her making her taking her title shot and her man,
<v Speaker 2>and she started to leave. Morgan said that she is
<v Speaker 2>a champion and all Nicki will ever be is a
<v Speaker 2>reality show diva. Well, I mean again, liv is not wrong.
<v Speaker 2>Nikki climbed through the ropes to return of the ring
<v Speaker 2>and then Morgan hit Nicki with oblivion. Crowd didn't really
<v Speaker 2>boo this crowd didn't do it again. I don't know
<v Speaker 2>why Nicky's back is She's back just to be part
<v Speaker 2>of the evolution in pay per view, I guess, but no,
<v Speaker 2>there was no organic uprising for Nicki Bello. There's no
<v Speaker 2>movement for Nicki. The only one excited about Nicki coming
<v Speaker 2>back was Nicki. I mean, there's just the Bella twins
<v Speaker 2>are delusion. They have this like they have this delusion,
<v Speaker 2>that this fantasy that fans are always asking them, when
<v Speaker 2>are you coming back? You gotta have another match, Oh
<v Speaker 2>my god, please come back? Hashtag we want Nicki. They
<v Speaker 2>actually think that there's fans in mass I know again,
<v Speaker 2>I'm sure there are rogue fans that actually like the
<v Speaker 2>Bellas and feel they were great and are good great
<v Speaker 2>in the ring. I'm sure there are, because there are
<v Speaker 2>fans for everything, no matter how crazy. But I feel
<v Speaker 2>like either they are purposely lying to themselves and hoping
<v Speaker 2>you don't notice, or they actually believe that there are
<v Speaker 2>drones of fans just waiting with baited breath for the
<v Speaker 2>day that Nicki Bella comes back, or Brie Bella comes
<v Speaker 2>back and has a match and shows up and makes
<v Speaker 2>an appearance. Once the Bella is left, they just got
<v Speaker 2>a race from our brains. That's it. I don't remember
<v Speaker 2>any anybody going oh my god, real, where are they?
<v Speaker 2>Please come back, make let's let's start a movement, let's
<v Speaker 2>start a petition. No one, Everyone's like, okay, see you.
<v Speaker 2>And since then they have been at the outer reaches
<v Speaker 2>of our wrestling memories. And now Nicki, who's just again
<v Speaker 2>trying to pretend that people want to see she is
<v Speaker 2>a nostalgic act. And that's fine. She is one of
<v Speaker 2>the faces of the Divas era. But here's the problem
<v Speaker 2>with that. You are one of the faces of the
<v Speaker 2>Diva's era. You were one of the bigges quote unquote
<v Speaker 2>stars of the Diva's era. But no one wants to
<v Speaker 2>remember the Divas era because it wasn't women's wrestling. It
<v Speaker 2>was a holdover of the Attitude era. It was essentially
<v Speaker 2>the same thing the way it's the same way WW
<v Speaker 2>treated the women during the Attitude era, minus the sex,
<v Speaker 2>meaning they shoved it aside. There were never any deep
<v Speaker 2>storylines going on, very little TV time, and there was
<v Speaker 2>a butterfly on your championship belt. There was There were
<v Speaker 2>no women's war rumbles, there was no women's ladder match,
<v Speaker 2>there were never any hell in the cells. They never
<v Speaker 2>remain invented any pay per views. They barely got any
<v Speaker 2>any TV time, and the TV time they did was
<v Speaker 2>two minutes, three minutes, four minutes tops. There were no
<v Speaker 2>women's tag team titles, which is actually probably for the best,
<v Speaker 2>but no women's Intercontinental, no women's the United States Championship,
<v Speaker 2>They didn't have their own pay per view. So no,
<v Speaker 2>it's an You're the face of an era. No one
<v Speaker 2>wants to remember, Nikki. That's the problem. That's the problem.
<v Speaker 2>Not that you can't actually have a fundamentally sound match.
<v Speaker 2>You can, but you bring back an era that people
<v Speaker 2>fought so hard to get away from. You. Your face
<v Speaker 2>embodied an era that caused the fans to themselves start
<v Speaker 2>a we want or give the give divas a chance
<v Speaker 2>hashtag that sparked the entire women's revolution. You are the
<v Speaker 2>face of things of time that we want to get
<v Speaker 2>away from, Nikki. Can I be any clearer? Yeah? All right,
<v Speaker 2>so we get Jason and Gunther. As I said for
<v Speaker 2>the women's the World Heavyweight Championship, this match did go
<v Speaker 2>twenty two minutes. Wow, that was that long, I guess,
<v Speaker 2>And yeah, so I already went over that. I'm not
<v Speaker 2>gonna go over it again. As far as Gunther winning
<v Speaker 2>the World championship for a second time. I agree with
<v Speaker 2>the decision as I've said, so I won't I will
<v Speaker 2>go into too much more detail other than that, but
<v Speaker 2>I guess I'll end there. I'll end there, and I
<v Speaker 2>hope you guys enjoyed the show. I'll be back. Why
