Hey, hey, family, welcome back to another <v Speaker 1>episode of Living Boldly with Doctor Z, the space where <v Speaker 1>we grow in faith, power, purpose, and yes and health too. <v Speaker 1>Today we're talking about something that's found out, foundational, but <v Speaker 1>often neglected. Your body. That's right, the bold body bone. <v Speaker 1>I know you guys know about it. And we're talking <v Speaker 1>about why taking care of your health is like your <v Speaker 1>future depends on it because guess what it does. Your <v Speaker 1>health is your wealth and it's very important to take <v Speaker 1>care of yourself. If you don't take care of your <v Speaker 1>body and your temple, then where where you're so be <v Speaker 1>able to go and reside while you're here on earth. <v Speaker 1>You know, it just won't have a place to go. <v Speaker 1>You know, they haven't created that technology yet. So you <v Speaker 1>can't just abandoned and neglect your body like that. You <v Speaker 1>got to take care of it. So let's shift the <v Speaker 1>mindset first. We talk a lot about living boldly and <v Speaker 1>walking in our calling on Living Bowlly with Doctor Z <v Speaker 1>and we also talk about chasing after your purpose. But <v Speaker 1>you can't fully run after your calling if you're constantly <v Speaker 1>running on empty, you know. And your body is the <v Speaker 1>vessel that God gave you, and if you're called to <v Speaker 1>go the distance, you gotta treat it like a temple, <v Speaker 1>not a trash can. I'm telling you. You gotta eat good, <v Speaker 1>gotta get that rest, gotta drink some water. You know. <v Speaker 1>We gotta go to the doctor, get checked out, get <v Speaker 1>that blood work done. You gotta have exercise routine. You <v Speaker 1>gotta be on a healthy day. Oh my god, the <v Speaker 1>list is so long, but you gotta do it. It's <v Speaker 1>a mustard, especially if you got a call and then <v Speaker 1>you need to be here for a while, you know. Now. <v Speaker 1>In First Corinthians six, chapter nineteenth through twenty verse It says, <v Speaker 1>do you not know that your bodies are temples of <v Speaker 1>the Holy Spirit? Therefore, honor God with your bodies. Ooh, <v Speaker 1>this is about perfection, This is about stewardship, and taking <v Speaker 1>care of your health is a spiritual act. Okay, So <v Speaker 1>let's get real. Have you ever felt like you're tired <v Speaker 1>all the time? You're foggy, unfocused and sluggish? What about <v Speaker 1>you want to do more but your body ugh, just <v Speaker 1>can't keep bump you know. M hmm. Let me lovingly <v Speaker 1>say this to you. It's time to stop putting your <v Speaker 1>health on the back burner. And you've got too much <v Speaker 1>purpose inside of you to be stuck in a body <v Speaker 1>that's barely functioning. So let's start focusing on taking care <v Speaker 1>of ourselves, you know, and going to the doctor and <v Speaker 1>getting checked out and exercising and eating healthy and stay <v Speaker 1>away from those bad things, those bad habits like smoking <v Speaker 1>and drinking and too much sweets and all that. We <v Speaker 1>gotta break some of these habits, drinking too much sweet <v Speaker 1>drinks and eating too many candies and too much chips <v Speaker 1>and snacks and stuff. We gotta get away from these things, <v Speaker 1>you know, that's what's holding us back and preventing us <v Speaker 1>from filling our you know, one hundred percent, you know, <v Speaker 1>and I know a lot of people can't feel one <v Speaker 1>hundred percent because they're very sick. But you know, even <v Speaker 1>if you're sick and you're on medications and it's been <v Speaker 1>a struggle for you, and it's something that's generational that's <v Speaker 1>been passed down through DNA, you have the opportunity to <v Speaker 1>take care of yourself and start working on it. So <v Speaker 1>you know, do what you can do to mitigate the <v Speaker 1>issues and the current health conditions that you have. Okay, <v Speaker 1>now I have five Bowld body habits for you guys today. Now, <v Speaker 1>these are simple things I do to stay aline, energized <v Speaker 1>and ready to walk in my purpose. You know. The <v Speaker 1>first thing is hydrate with intention. Oh my god, water <v Speaker 1>is life. I have my water with me right now, guys. <v Speaker 1>It fuels your brain, It gives you energy and your <v Speaker 1>organs and everything. I mean, a large percentage of our <v Speaker 1>body is made of water. So we must intake and <v Speaker 1>hydrate with intention. Number two, we gotta move daily. You know, <v Speaker 1>it doesn't have to be intense. It could be a <v Speaker 1>stretch walk. You can do some dancing, you know, you can. <v Speaker 1>You don't have to even go to the gym or <v Speaker 1>do body do weightlifting or anything like that. You can <v Speaker 1>just use your body weight to exercise and stretch and <v Speaker 1>move around. There's so many exercises out there on YouTube <v Speaker 1>that it doesn't even cost you a thing. You don't <v Speaker 1>even have to get a gym membership, and you can <v Speaker 1>just do it a couple of minutes today. So you know, <v Speaker 1>just move that bold body of yours. Bow. We gotta <v Speaker 1>get them moving. Number three, you gotta rest without guilt. Oof, <v Speaker 1>that's that could be a problem for some of us. <v Speaker 1>Rest is not laziness, okay, and it's divine alignment. And <v Speaker 1>I've said that before in other episodes, but even God rested. <v Speaker 1>And you know, but once we gotta rest, we gotta <v Speaker 1>take care of ourselves. We gotta take the time out. <v Speaker 1>You can't just overwork yourself all the time. And we're <v Speaker 1>not robots. We're human beings, you know, and we need risks, <v Speaker 1>we need vacations. We need to take off some time <v Speaker 1>and relax and you know, just not do anything and <v Speaker 1>take care of ourselves. Okay. Number four, eat to nourish, <v Speaker 1>not to know who. You gotta watch out with all <v Speaker 1>that eating. You know, food is fuel, but you have <v Speaker 1>to start asking will this feed my purpose or my pain? <v Speaker 1>And you know, sometimes we're overdo it with the eating <v Speaker 1>and we're getting too full and eating too much. So <v Speaker 1>it's like whenever they are offering you an abundance of food, <v Speaker 1>like on a buffet, or say you're on a trip <v Speaker 1>and there's just like a smortgage board a food, or <v Speaker 1>you're at home and you're cooking for the holidays, Hey, <v Speaker 1>you might want to cut back and not do too much. <v Speaker 1>Just eat enough to satisfy your appetite, but don't eat overeat, <v Speaker 1>you know, don't eat too much to where you're like <v Speaker 1>so full you can barely breathe and you're passing out, <v Speaker 1>you know. I mean, yeah, I know when you get <v Speaker 1>the idees, you go to sleep and you pass out <v Speaker 1>and some people are drooling, and then you're like you say, hey, hey, <v Speaker 1>they're just knocked out. But that's okay. But I'm just <v Speaker 1>saying that, just be careful with your intake and just <v Speaker 1>do it for nourishment and fuel for your body to <v Speaker 1>keep going. But don't eat numb and overfill to where <v Speaker 1>you just can't even breathe and you can barely walk. <v Speaker 1>Take care of yourself, don't overdo it. Number five, You're <v Speaker 1>gonna check in with your body and your spirit. Now, <v Speaker 1>this is one of my favorites because meditation and prayer <v Speaker 1>and breathing can reconnect you to God and yourself. And <v Speaker 1>that's something that we've talked about in another one of <v Speaker 1>our podcasts, the Empowerment Blueprint cal podcasts, and we've had <v Speaker 1>some special gas and this is one of the things <v Speaker 1>that I especially gos, love to talk about and they <v Speaker 1>specialize in, so you can also go over there and <v Speaker 1>listen to that. But I'm advocating this because I know meditation, <v Speaker 1>oh my god, it's my best friend. And prayer, oh <v Speaker 1>my god, it's my best, best, best best friend because <v Speaker 1>it's from God and it, oh my god, it's amazing. <v Speaker 1>And the breathing techniques, oh my god. You have to <v Speaker 1>try them. Guys. If you don't know much about the <v Speaker 1>breathing techniques, please do your research on those. And like <v Speaker 1>I always say, do your research, do your research because <v Speaker 1>there's some great breathing techniques out there that can help <v Speaker 1>you and it'll help you check in with your body <v Speaker 1>and your spirit and get a line and balanced. Okay, <v Speaker 1>all right, bod ones Bow all right, Now, why does <v Speaker 1>this matter? It matters because when you take care of <v Speaker 1>your body, you show up stronger for your family, You <v Speaker 1>think clearer, you feel more confident, and most importantly, you're <v Speaker 1>able to go the distance with your calling. Oh yeah, <v Speaker 1>that is so important. Now, don't just plan for success, <v Speaker 1>train for it, you know. So these are things that <v Speaker 1>we have to do to stay alne and be on <v Speaker 1>track for our calling and to maintain and to continue <v Speaker 1>on that path and the journey that God has laid <v Speaker 1>out for us. So that business, that ministry, that dream, <v Speaker 1>it needs a healthy you. And without that, ooh, we're <v Speaker 1>not going to be able to make that happen. So <v Speaker 1>please take care of yourself. And I'm gonna give a <v Speaker 1>general reminder that taking care of your health is not <v Speaker 1>a punishment. Okay, it's not a trend. You should always <v Speaker 1>be doing this. It's not about comparing yourself to anyone else. <v Speaker 1>There's no competition at all. It's about loving yourself enough <v Speaker 1>to protect your future for you and your family. And <v Speaker 1>it's a radical act of self love, which is very important. <v Speaker 1>You have to love yourself before you can love anyone else. <v Speaker 1>And it's an act of obedience when you remember that <v Speaker 1>your body is a gift from God. God blessed you <v Speaker 1>with that body. Boo. We already know now before I go, <v Speaker 1>I got a bull prayer for the body. Well moment, <v Speaker 1>Let's pray God, thank you for this body. Thank you <v Speaker 1>for every breath, every heartbeat, every limb that allows us <v Speaker 1>to move in your purpose. Forgive us for neglecting our health. <v Speaker 1>Today we commit to honoring you through how we care <v Speaker 1>for ourselves. Gives give us the strength. God, give us discipline, <v Speaker 1>God and peace as we walk in wellness. In Jesus' name, <v Speaker 1>I pray Amen. Now, I want to go ahead and <v Speaker 1>say that you are strong, you are worthy, and you <v Speaker 1>are capable of living in a body that supports the <v Speaker 1>bold life God has called for you. You know God has <v Speaker 1>called you too, you know, so let's live it out, <v Speaker 1>you know, one healthy choice at a time. And if <v Speaker 1>you can do that, and remember that your health is <v Speaker 1>your wealth, and take care of yourself and make sure <v Speaker 1>that you're taking care of your body. And you know, <v Speaker 1>God will appreciate you for it. Everyone will, your family, God, <v Speaker 1>I'll love you for it even more. He'll bless you <v Speaker 1>even more. And you can see a difference. So with <v Speaker 1>that being said, Uh, let's live it out, one healthy <v Speaker 1>choice at a time. Okay. I love y'all and keep <v Speaker 1>living boldly bonas, body, mind, and spirit. Yes, yes, until <v Speaker 1>next time. This is doctor Z signing off for ones <v Speaker 1>sure each Slo
