I am your host, Jay George, and the Major Rewind is a
show where I take some of the best classic, ultimate and major moments from
the Major POD's rich, rich history and I put it together for new and
old Major marks to enjoy. This week on the podcast, I usually say
that, you know, we got a jam packed episode and the weekly purchases
is epic and it's one of the biggest ones of all time. Not the
case for this episode. I was putting it together and this weekly purchase from
episode thirty seven is only about ten minutes long. But don't worry don't worry.
Your boy has you covered. I hooked you up a little something extra.
I always make the show jam packed regardless this that we added a special
segment from the news segment, there's a huge major discovery. And then of
course we got from episode twenty seven, we got a maven incarnate of Domination
YouTube's very own. We got a special WTF and of course one of the
for me, a classic moment in the Q and a segment when the boys
talk about playing with the action figures and I got a fun story for that,
but you're gonna have to catch that on the flip side. For now,

go to weekly purchases. Some bite cost the little, some bight cost a
lot, but on the thousand dollar Broski and your figures will be bought,
all right, weekly purchases. I was gonna talk about the Wrestling for sale
Razor Moon shirt that wasn't really a purchase. I got it for a gift.
That's why. That's what we did. In housekeeping last week we talked
about all those those domes figures. We did the live on boxing and I
was missing the rowdy Roddy Piper and the the Exclusive Chase Undertaker. So I
went on eBay, did a little best offer and I got the Piper and
then that's kind of the only one. I want a little chee about it.
See. And then I also did a trade ski of the Week with
Retro w w F Classics on Instagram for the Taker, the Undertaker, the
Chase, the Chase Taker. And then as we landed yesterday some some major
mark in the airport, he uh, he gave me the uh the Taker
as well, so we have two. And he gave me a bunch of
zach Ryder like tops cards that needed and what's funny about one of the cards
on the back and says Rider took his passion for toys to ww's YouTube channel
alongside Kurt Hawkins. So you made my card. Figure it figure it out,
figure it out, shout out, figure it out? Is uh?
I think may June hopefully. I mean, we don't know it's coming.
We're working on things are in the can. What else you got that's it?
For me? Wow? Can you believe it? This is crazy?
Okay? Okay, So I was gonna I half alluded to this in housekeeping.
Uh. Long story shirt. My wife and I we looked into moving.
Okay, you're coming to Orlando. Absolutely not. We love our house,
we love our community. We really didn't want to go anywhere, but
we could use a little you moved to my hometown. Technically, yes,
but anyway, we can use a little more space. And yeah, yeah,
I said. We said, well, we looked into it. It
just seemed like so much work, so expensive. We said, why don't
we just you know, we already love this place, let's make it even
better. So I have a lot of truction going on in my house right
now, which is Union Union those guys, Oh my god. Anyway,
Uh, it's it's a lot. You know. It's at certain points there's
a guy redoing a bathroom, there's a plumber there, there's guys installing central
ac there. Like it was just like a war zone last week, war
zone, and it's just going to keep going on for the next couple of
weeks. So, I mean, it got the point where I just catched
some of my mariout points and went to married up throat and took my daughter
like swim it to the pool stuff, cause I just had I couldn't take
it. I could take it I just wanted to get away. So God,
getting down to the water, I believe it was about Friday and I
said, oh my god, I haven't even like just I haven't even thought
of wrestling figures in my collection. My my playroom is it's messed up now
and it's only going to get worse because we're redoing every closet in the house
and company's coming to do that. So every close is everyth're ocd. You
must be flipping out. I've like kind of just kind of like I've surrendered.
I've surrendered, you know. So, uh, my playroom is going
to become just like the storage room where just everything from every closet our whole
house is going to get piled up in there. And it's already starting.
I hope this long story is going somewhere, So I wrestling figures haven't been
on my mind. I'd be honest, very preoccupied. I really it got
down to like Friday said, oh my god, this finally, this is
finally a weekly purchases, and I'm going to say nothing, right, I
have nothing. I didn't do anything, I didn't buy anything, and then
oh I love this, and then the wrestling figure Gods, yes, a
text message yes from John from Ring Cyclists say, are you free? Do
you want to stop by? I have something and the patience that I've bestowed
to get all weekend through to bring this here to do a live unboxing,
a live unveiling it. And I know you haven't seen this. There's only
one box in there. Oh yeah, there's only one boxing. There is
only one box. I don't like this out of that? Well, I
don'd you take a look. Take a look in my little bag? Son
of them? What is that? What is that? Matt? It's the
Ringside Exclusive Elite Collection Hardy Boys ring Side. Is only one of these in
box? Oh? My box looks great. This is I'm so excited about
this. So those are not double slam Hardy Boys. Isn't that great though?

saved my whole weekly purchase. I don't say surprise. There's I only see
one pack there. They didn't offer me yours to bring. I think they

sorry, guys. So anyway, they wanted me to make it be
known. These aren't in stock pre order. They're on they're in pre order.
But they got their sample case, which I don't know if we've ever
really touched upon on the show that ringside when they get their exclusives, they'll
get like just ah case, maybe a week or two before they actually shipment
comes in. I guess to give it it once over. I don't know.
I'm looking at and I am h A R D. Oh my god.
So they were like, this is from the sample case. We want
you to have it. I'm like, oh baby, they saved weekly purchases
for the week and now I'm gonna bust it open right in front of you.

off, can we talk The packaging is awesome. I didn't realize they have.
They're on the stage and the brewd fires behind them. What you see
that? That's cool? Good work build did? Does Billders are Trevor who
does this? I don't think any of the lad Squad members are in the
packaging division. So yeah, they're standing. If you look at it the
raw stages in there, they're standing on the fire in the background, and
then can we talk about this? It's it? I don't I mean,
I can't compare ourselves with the Hardy Boys, But have we nobody's taken a
more iconic like everyone knows that posted shirts like it's just it's oh, I

enough. How much the hands have really changed some of these metealia, these
interchangeable hands, like the finn Balor or the like when it matters. It
makes this huge difference. You know, look at that, Jeff. Yeah,
to get the belts, cloth shirts, interchangeable hands. I mean,
good lord, you know what. I'm so glad the Hardies came back for
so many reasons, but one of them is for these figures. Honestly,
I've been dreaming of this set since the day they grew back and wrestling it,
you know, And this is what you think, Oh man, finger
guns? It is you gotta do the finger guns. I don't even know
why. Awesome and it's easy to pop those hands right off. It's not
hard at all. Yeah. Wow, this Bringside really uh delivers their exclusives,
but this one is. This was a good call by everybody, great
business decision and great delivery from Mattel. Wow. You know what you were
We were just saying, like, my playroom's kind of under construction right now,
and I can't get to it. This one's things a bit because I
want to put these right front and center a good spot. Oh yeah,
I mean, god, damn, I gotta wait now, Wow, you
can't. There's no way those figures could have been topp there. I have.
I have zero critiques. I'm sure there's gonna be some guys on rest
pigs. Oh my god, there's something wrong with them. But these are

even cool like if you're going to play to take the shirts off and have
you know, Wow, what a great rip off that shirt hit the swanpt

sit enough. They saved I literally thought I was a man after all this
time, It's finally over, no weekly purchases, and then boom you you
defeated me. I got those those domes and you got this. I mean

real. But he was like an indie demolition guy, right, like a
fake clutter or something. All Right, it's a big week for news,
a lot of random stuff. I'm gonna go right to my number one Disney
and Pixar cars, Precision Series Docks, Ornamental Valley, Mechanical Clinic Playset one
nine ninety nine. Do you know anything about this? What on earth are
you this is from Mattel? What Remember we talked about how Mattel should do
some sort of back of the barge style thing. There's a big product and
you gotta preorder it and then once the uh the minimum is met, they
make the product. Sure And Mattel was like, oh no, I don't
think we're gonna do anything like that, but they're doing it for cars here.
Pre Orders open four twenty four through five twenty one. Minimum three thousand
backers needed before five twenty two to move this campaign into production around fall twenty
twenty will be accepted throughout the campaign period, even if the minimum backing goal
is met before the end of the campaign. If the minimum backing goal is
not met by the end of the campaign, the campaign will not go into
production and all pre orders will be canceled. Mittel, We've been asking for
this for forever in wrestling. For wrestling, I mean, this is cool.
I don't think this has given me hope that the company is aware of
Yes, the concept and it's as possible. Yes, I agree. So
now this opens up the conversation that we've been having, but we don't even
have an answer to that conversation. We don't know. We don't have an
answer, but we can we can suggest at least it's less of a fantasy.
It's less of a fantasy. It's it's okay, it's almost a reality.
If they're doing it for cars, why wouldn't they do it for WWE?
And I think, to me, my gut reaction is it's got to
be especially I'm staring at these hardy boys, it's got to be like a
ninety ninety thousand raw stage. Has to be something timeless. I would be
all for like a WrestleMania eight style stage with the neon lights. Okay,
yeah, it has to be timeless. It can't be a current thing.
I don't know if that's big enough unless it's got a lot of like the
guard to it. I don't know what about that retro the retro wrestleminga eight
stage, keep saying wrestlming But you know the neon stage they put on to
put on this play actually with the fans, that'd be incredible. Sure,
and all you need is some pre orders. Like you said, the conversation
can be real. Now it can be real, and uh, this just
gave me hope and like like like the the Barge the star Wars back to
Barge that I backed. I might have to back this back to the cars,
back the cars thing, just because I wanted to be a success.
You know, I've never seen cars, and I'm avoiding it because I'm sure
my daughter's gonna love it and I'll be watching it twice a day, so
no need to watch it now. I'm not gonna tell all our major marks
to go back this cars thing. But if we can get this made,
it'll get w Okay. Can you explain to me somewhere never seen cars like
what? This is no idea. I believe you've cars. I've seen it
one time. I don't know. I don't remember anything about this. I
love the ride at Disneyland, but that's about it. But I love this
concept that Mattel. I'm glad that they are. They have all these crowdfunding
questions. I love this. I love this. I don't know what to
say. It's it's it's a it's almost reality. It's possible. It's not
a dream anymore. So I'm trying to read more about it. But let's

guess the member. I don't even know what about to say. Wow,
that's for someone who is all blown like blackout, brain fart Kip wait,
Stevens, Kip the grams. He sent me a picture of a new ring.
It's for what's what are those words like the dollar store style figures?
I think? But these aren't even I don't think they're in America. So
this is gonna be for international listeners. Maybe they can give us some clarity.
I think this is a domestic but what it is, it's this ring.
And what's interesting about it is you take it as a it's a a
discount style ring and you use the box as the apron. Do you see
that? Wait? What? Yeah? I never realized that. Why do
you think that you don't see the apron is just the box. WHOA,
I didn't realize that when I looked at this the first that was a big
sticker. No, that's the box. Good lord. I think it's pretty
cool and it fits like the retros if it's rest of us. Pretty good.
But it's a modern day ring with the modern day w B logo and
this is live like a love of them, which is kind of like and
a lot of people on on the internet and even this guy, kIPS the
Grams thought these were those what are those those big guys true moves moves?
He thought they were true moves on the packaging, but they're not. But
we did confirmed that they are the discount figures stole. We did see that
discount true Moves ring. That's different than that. This is different, I
believe, yeah, right, So this I love seeing those hosts plastic.
It looks like I mean the ropes plastic. It looks like it. It's
hard to tell. So this is a new value ring. And uh,
I just wanted to thank kIPS the Grams and guys, if you ever find

if you have a best wish to shot class and you've been filling it up,

fan of RINGCYC collectibles for like my entire collecting life, basically, I love

then I found like Superstar series five on there and like the tag Team Series
one and Managers Series one, and I was like, oh god, waiting
forever the picture it was. It was such a weird time for me because
I didn't know. I also was finding like Quirks Customs and other custom sites,
so it wasn't were these customs are there real? You know what I'm
saying? Yeah, yeah, guys. Also Retro series eight finally hitting stores,
finally hitting Walmart. That's your set, That's my set. So guys,

I don't know if we even touch upon that Ringside has those Survivisoris guys
are in stock by the way, I don't know if we ever touched once

if you don't know who PCO is, it's Jean Pierre Lafitte. It's it's
it's Pierre from the Quebeca's. Uh. I mean we have this talk I
think early in the podcast. Yeah, he's got it right there. Looks
someone who's put so much time right into the business with no action figure,
and he definitely I definitely thought he was gonna get a Quebecer's figure. Definitely
thought he's gonna get a John Pierre Lafitte figure in the Hasbro days, especially
during the Jackson Classic Superstar days and they're making everybody and they didn't make up
something, and I mean you were talking. He was in WW several times,
w CW E CW ring him on right now and now now he's he's
back, uh, and I'm glad. I don't know if he's a figure
fan. I don't know if he's listened to the pod, but PCO,
congratulations Marty. You tell PCO I say congratulations. And I love that Villain
Enterprises getting a figure, and and Marty has such elaborate gear an entrance accessory.
So I can't wait to see what the finished product is, right,
will it have will it have the mask? We'll have the glasses, the
coat, the umbrella. Marty's very what's that word toy ettic? That's true,
So we cannot wait to see those figures. I definitely got to pick
up the Villain fig for my friends and family. I don't know why I
keep saying friends and family, my friends, Uh, friends and family,
my friends and family, my friends and family section of my toys. So
I thought that was pretty damn cool. Okay, Now a lot of this
stuff I'm about to say is like old news, but it's new news if

seven, you know that there's a Brett hart A Owen Heart and a British
bulldog and they all come when with what's supposed to be like the Heart found
a leather jackets, but their vests like how Davy boy wore, so it
makes sense for Davy Boy, which is so funny. They're made of like
seventies Star Wars plastic right like in the nineties. It's just like, how
is that updated after twenty tried to pull those off? You definitely rip them
right, unreal cheap. So it's Brett Owen Davy. They all have the
cool Heart Foundation logo on the back, and it really only makes sense for
Davy because Davy wore the best. So, like I said, these these
these vests were so easily ripped, and fig heel ripped his bulldog his bulldog
vest. He said, Okay, I'll just buy another one on eBay.
Uh you know, let me do a little unboxing. You have you watched
the unboxing Wait he discovers it live, yesh gotta see, oh man,
Yeah, so he unboxes it live and he's like, oh my god,
like not only does it have the Heart Foundation logo, but the top says
Hitman, and he's like, wait a minute, hold on, it's like
it like time out and he goes and it's his bulldog and it's not there.
There's no way my childhood one, said hit Man on anybody's see.
I want to say that my childhood Brett did, but there's no proof of
that, and it could be my mind be I'll go check when I get
home. So here's my my bone cruncheres. Are my childhood bone crunchers.
I took such a good care them. There mine aren't. I bought mine.
I can literally check. So I hit up David cy Anderson, who
has been collecting the bone crunchers. He said, they all say just Heart
Foundation. Yeah. I hit up bit to Jack's BCA. His say all
Heart Foundation. Then I made Chelsea go through my bone cruncher bind right.
She dug She didn't, she didn't know what she was in door with one
hand, with one head. She dug through them like a trooper. All
say just harp Foundation. So this is your no news, new Jack.
It's going to be difficult. So I don't want to find an owen or
bulldog that say hit Man, But I need a hit Man. I agree,
that, says hit Man. You have all the variants, like you'll
need it. But then on the other side you you have like Camrock with
Austin tatt you have all these you have all these savvios, which is wild
to me. On another note that like through this podcast, we've undiscovered this
stuff, these these over twenty years later, twenty year plus variants, but
uh, you you've been collecting the weird stuff. So even though it doesn't
make any sense for a bulldog and I want to have that Hitman jacket,
I feel like you kind of needed. I mean, if they were presented
to me, you have a million persent need the hit Man, million percent
of the hit Man. Now, if someone presented to me the Owen the
Bulldog, I might just do it. But there's also other variants that like,
some of the jackets are like a dull material and some are shiny,
But that doesn't mean that the shiny ones have hit Man and the dull ones
don't they ever heard that or realized that that's this. I've been doing research
like a psychopath, figuring it out, man. But listen to this.
I remember that like the Hunter and Sean, they have those crappy d X
ones. They're like stickers. Sticker would fall off and it'd be like a
nightmare for me. It'd be so nervous about it. So what's good about
these best in ninety sevens? Because you might be thinking like, well,
how if I'm gonna get one men on cart, how am I gonna no
the display stand? Those useless display stands. After twenty years, we finally
figured out their real use because they work as a mirror. On these Best
of ninety seven you don't have to rip all these bad boys over. You
can just look or I mean, but you can't go into a Walmart and
body is you have to ask your your eBay seller to look or if you
find an a or have you been doing that? I have been doing it.
One guy said, there's no way for me to look that. I've
looked from every possible angle, and I'm like, uh, the stand works
is a mirror and you can literally just take a picture to from above.
Right. Yeah, but so yeah, if anyone has is Brett Hart with
the vest Hey, if you have new Jack ECW with no News not the
thrill Zone one, well, I also and I said this to you and
David c Anderson, I have no f and sympathy for you on this one
because I've been dealing with this Nwjack thing that's just like rocked my socks and
I can't find it and it's frustrating, but that's part of collecting, so
have fun. More old but new news. Rob one four to four zero
on Twitter was asking us a question about the Hasbro King of the Ring Ring
and he sent me like the instruction I guess manual insert that comes in the
box, right, And I don't know how. I never the pamphlet that
comes in I never ever picked up on this, and I don't know how,
but it's the pamphlet with where to put the stickers and stuff like that.
And the monitors, which I think we were talking about, are so
bizarre anyway, like the WrestleMania sticker, it doesn't make much sense. The
other one goes on the side and it's not a flat surface, right,
so bizarre. But this is what really I don't really remember this, but
if you have the King of the Ring Ring, you know that the sticker
on the monitor is just plain white. But according to the insert, it
should have been a Vince McMahon sticker, so like an eighties picture of it's
man, you knowing Vince, and the my guess would be that he saw
that last minute. I was like, why is that? Like? Take
me off of that because he's not that kind of what I found interesting to
be. My guess. I don't remember this, but you said you can
go home and check. See I have this. I I have the the
box. First of all, I have a mint in box, one that
I'm not gonna open and check. That would be ridiculous. I have my
loose one. I kept the packaging, so I hope I didn't throw out
the inside. I'd love to go check that out. Yeah, maybe maybe
it's steel cage customs. So next week that next week you have to look
into this. Yeah, I'll look into my Heart Foundation jackets. We'll have
some kind of clarity or updates. Okay, I'm not done. I have
one more. What's old is lash back News? Okay to this week's flashback
news segment. Everyone knows I love Hasbros. And everyone knows that we have
been discovering news and figures and prototypes and images of these Haswell figures. Thirty
years almost thirty It has been thirty years not yeah, not yet but almost
yeah almost, it's ninety one year away. Bro. Yeah, So my
good friend Mark Draven you know, Mark is where I go quote the Draven
from from Entertainment Inc. Mag Entertainment in magazine. I met this guy a
couple of years ols soon as I moved out to Florida. He personally has
dealt with Ron Rudatt in the past and has or had a bunch of original
Hasbro hand drawn sketches. He had the the He was the one who found
the orange card drawings like the diesel that I own and stuff like that.
And uh, now he's gotten some reference shots like you know how we go
to still photo we take these pictures from Mattels like that. He got the
actual photos like from those from those we've discussed, like the globes and why
they're you know, dooms and sweatpants and stuff, because the reference photos were
those, right, And in those photos was a little superstar called Max Moon,
which is interesting, right, So they were gonna make Max Moon least,
But how far along in the process did they get Did it get to
the sketch? It could have got no further than that, But it doesn't
surprise me because Max Moon, there was huge plans for him, and there
was a lot of money went into that character and the costuming and stuff,
and I, you know, believe something happened where Conan just like kind of
left and left them like stranded with the gimmick and nobody to play the role.
Right, And then Paul Diamond does it like once or twice. If
you go to Entertainment Inc. Mag On Instagram, he has posted some look
look at these Papa Shango pictures He's posted. Yeah, it's all Papa Shako.

I think the one of the craziest most detailed things we do is take
the pictures for the video game, right, and how they get like every
little thing because we it's a what a twenty minute photo session that like it's
it's not you just doing poses. They have certain things and need to do
his whole routine for them and it takes up a lot of time. But
that's how they get it so frigging detail. And I love that this was
back in the early nineties before like this was a thing, you know what
I'm saying. So there wasn't like computers and stuff like that. It's only
like five or six pictures for each guy, Like he has Diesel. Look
at all these pictures of Diesel. But I thought was really interesting is like
Brett Hart with the tag Team titles, there was so proof that there was
the heart foundation were coming and I have the anvil drawing. Yeah, we
think about it that with no Internet, that's all designer. It's like doinks
even doing the post of the figure. Yeah, but that's that, like
that's all the design has but no Internet, you know, And that that's
exactly why Doom is sweat fans or whatever. You know. You if you
know a fan Brett with new costume and that's Brett number two. Oh wow,
that's really cool. There's also like Ultimate Warrior in all these like singlets
like were they gonna make an Ultimate war in a singlet. I think before
he got let Go, he was gonna switch to singlets. Look at all
these photos of Ultimate Warrior in the singlet, like all these shots. Imagine
if we would have saw a Hasbro like this, would that You think they
would just use perfect body? No, I think they would have just painted
it on like a like a Warrior three people. Maybe Look, here's Brett,
but like I guess he still would have tassels. Look at these.
That's cool, man. Imagine if we got pink heart foundation like that anvil
and Brett like in solid pink. I would love it. And like I

We're gonna talk about his three action figures. He's more than three,
one of my favorite superstars of all time. What's his first I don't even
have a memory of, like his first His first figure is three. That's
WrestleMania eighteen of the hardcore title. That's his first figure ever. And that's
my favorite one right off the bat. That's my favorite. I think our
that our three is my favorite. Was that released several times? It was
then released as the SmackDown Draft, which I believe is identical figure. But
if I had to guess the the M and whatever is silver or not white?
That's I was looking up on Google. It looked white to me,
but maybe it's I could I mean, I could be wrong. It's just
you know. And then he had first of all Maven. After that that
opening from last week, I was like, I fell in love with all
over again. I mean I was. I was to my gym playlist's just
been That song is such a teaser though, and iTunes last week we were
marking out for Maven so hard. We wanted his theme music and on iTunes,
I down downloaded mercy drive memory. Right, but it's a different different,
right, it's a little different. So this is all, this is
all how it ghosts. And then the guy starts singing, I'm like,
what it's a little different than his w E And this part's to say,
but it gets different. That's twenty one seconds of a boner. And then
I just went completely completely soft when kicked in. What the heck, baby,
what a weird thing is? That's so weird? I love Maavid so
much so when that R three Resuming at eighteen came out, I was so
happy with the hardcore title and it came with the stand It was beautiful.
Then the draft, when I didn't get because I wasn't into the whole draft
set. I remember going crazy trying to piece that draft set together for no
for no reason, there were such bad figures. But then they made the
R couple of Ruth's aggression. Guys one looks identical to the R three figure,
like, same drunks, same everything. What serious is that? I
don't know? Four or six? I want to say that off the ropes
that right aid yes he did, okay, So when those would come out,
those were awesome. There were some like hidden gems and the riches and
all yellow. Yeah. So there's Off the Ropes. I believe they're called
and they were right. Eight exclusives, right, a series six guys.
Those the only way to ever get Stacey Keebler. By the way, was
it ruthless? I'm pretty sure no. She give me a test two pack.
That's a Titan Tron figure. So what are you talking about? Ruthless
aggression style women body. That's the only Stacy Keepler. I don't think there
is one positive you find it for me? Stacey Keebler, Yes, that's
not Titan Tron. Okay, the one that comes to test and her hands
on. There's also that three pack from Ringside of women. Those are Titan
Tron figures. Then there's a Stacey Keebler Off the Ropes. No way,
yes, get out of town, Yes, get out of layette. Oh
my god, I'm looking at it right now. You're right? Yeah,
so anyway, yeah, ribbon and gear and that's all blackboring gear. But
anyway, oh my god, I did know that that would when those would
come out, because I was the completest. I would go crazy because right
is not a real toy star and in fact, they have the smallest little
toy isle ever. It's and they would only put out like two figures at
a time, right, So like it was like mass hysteria to try to
find him. And they had that. We've discussed the Rock from Walking Tall,
Yes, yes, the Stevie and the Yellow which for some reason at
the time, I was like I really kind of wanted they had a Keebler.
Uh. This Maven we're talking about in green, which was like heel,
right, but there's also a Maven in from a New Year's Revolution that
pay per view and he's like a baby, like an egg and there's a
egg, there's a single legg shell color. But then there's a ma This
is a weird one. This is a WTF worthy Maven in a WrestleMania shirt
with ug That's what toys r us. It's twenty one exclusive. I think
the weirdest made of the mall is a WrestleMania like recall set. We're supposed
to be from this match of WrestleMania where wrestled Golden with the Hardcore title.
Yeah, and it's Maven with like an elbow pad painted on, painted on.
It's like, oh cool, it went all out, but but then
that because I was going to get that figure, and then I'm like,
wait a minute, let me I watched the match of WRESTLEMANA. He's not
wearing an elbow pad, so what are they doing? But it's a bizarre
that well one, that's so Jack's to put the effort into something that's not
even real. It's just so bizarre. I guess they were trying to make
it a different I think's rules aggression four or six. I could be wrong.
I should probably find that out, don't you think? Maybe in the
clear packaging. Yeah, that's the one I have autographed from him on my
wall in my gym at home. Is that Do you know if that's four
or six? Uh? It's six Rus aggression six. Yeah, that was
the weird set where like TRIPLEH had like one knee pad and like there's so
many that's so Jack's things about it. Yeah, this is mayven and he
comes with like a trash can lid. I mean, maybe it's just to
put mattel over again for something that just crossed my mind? How many times
actually this sid for instance, because I just got it no knee pads?
How many times did Jacks just not include pads like a rediculous amount of times.
I can't think of one time Mattel just put guys with no need like
Mattel is great, What can I do that happen so much? No need
pads all the time throws off the whole look pads. Yeah, it throws
off the whole look of an action figure. So it totally does. When
I I think, after this class Superstar set, I'm gonna go and I'm
gonna finish my bone crunches and on that many left. But then I'm on
the fence about doing a ruthless aggression, But then it might get nuts because
then, like once I finished Ruth's aggresion, am I going to try to
do Mattel one of each guy? Mmm? Yeah no that's why. Oh
man. So it's crazy that these ruthless aggressions, like once Jack's lost the
license and I broke my heart, I sold them all. But now ten
years later they're nostalgic to me, which is definitely what's going on right at
least in your heart and heart and mind. But anyway, these mavens,
what would be your favorite maven? Off the ropes? Dylan Postel had a
little repaint skilled I remember that. Yeah, is that a different a train
off the ropes. I don't know why that came up, but is that
it looks different actually different, just different logo too, right, Wow,
I didn't I totally forgot about that. So what would be your favorite Maven
you think? I think it's that that R three. I think so too.
Aren't there some with like gold plated belts? Don't quote quote me on
this, but the original quote never more. The original concept of our three
figures where that they were like full body scans broken down into articulated figures,
yes, everyone, and then eventually they all use like Austin's body. Yeah,
so I think Maven is Maven's body and then they just used it for
like Billy Gunn a million times. And I mean, I'm pretty sure you
think so. Yeah, I'm not quoting you on that, and I'm not
sure if you're right. I'm pretty sure that Wrestlming eighteen sep was awesome because
it had Billion Chuck, it had DDP, had Maven. So maybe it's
just Billy guns violently used it for everybody. I don't know, it's one
of the other, all right, So we we agree on the same figure.

So yeah, for sure, I have like memories of living together in
Deep South and we were like pulling out toys to explain stuff to each other
and map out things that we wanted to do. And I for sure played
like as I got older and played with toys and knew I wanted to be
a wrestler. I justified it by doing that right in some ways, even
when I started training and I was still kind of playing and I was super
embarrassed and still did it anyway. But then the ultimate thing that really made
me feel a lot better about it was that Shawn Michael's DVD in two thousand
and seven and has an interview with Sherry on there and she talks about seeing
Marty and Sean do that really and go over the spots, yeah, and
like what what kind of figures? I would assume they're remcos or something because
she's talking about their time and away together in a tech team, And I
was like, just made me feel a little more normal about I'm sure I
did. I just I just can't remember off the without my I remember getting
Jack's final count guys Moves Moves slash final Count they changed the name at some
point, but those I would especially use those and be like, Okay,
I can do this that and have to be there to do that, you
know, or make the tag here. You know. I definitely did that,

done. The current ring is done being in production by as many as you
can. I have bought so many on Amazon. On Amazon they're like seventeen
bucks Prime. You know how many I bought, you know, a lot.
But it's embarrassing if you scrolled my thing the history of how many I
retro ring retro ring. I think Kmart has them too cheap since it's come
out, I think, and I believe it came out last April. I've
bought on Amazon. I've bought a ridiculous amount. I've bought so many for
just whatever. Because they're custom there, it's such a great value and you
can't beat prime, you really can't prime slot. I would say buy them
up now for for two reasons. One resale value down the line, but
also to make these customs, these custom rings, because with guys like Steel
Cage Customs, it's so amazing to make your own custom run. But let's
say you wanted a real product to come out. Is that's what we're fantastizing.
Let's let's let's let's go with Mattel real product. They have the retro
ring. If they had to make a second one, let's say that I
wouldn't want a King in the Ring ring because king ring isn't a modern I
wouldn't. I wouldn't want it either. Yeah, you can customize that.
You can customize that like Steel Cage Customs doesn't. Tommy Boy from Massachusetts is
trying to sell a bunch. Tommy Boy, he cheated on Steelcage Customs.
Man anyway has Romania also has some good stickers, but okay, I would
have to say who I mean as much as I say I don't want the
current guys and stuff like that. I would like a current ring like a
current but then ring. But here's the thing, like what color would it
be? That's what I'm saying. I think you know what I want,
raw as war, all black, kind of like the bone crush red rope.
That's what I would lean towards if I could just pick one. I
did, like you said it a couple of weeks ago, like an orange
SummerSlam one. Yeah, and then oh you know what that's Oh, that's

that error and it felt like that. I think that would be super cool.
I do think they just need like, okay, so the guys like
you know, Rollin's Ambrose, you know, Samy's Ay, like there there
needs to be some sort of current ring. And I think there was a
mock up like a couple of years ago. Remember there was a picture.
I don't remember that. There definitely was, Yeah, I got I'm gonna
try to find a picture while you talk. But there was a picture.
I feel like it was like gray or something like that. I just feel
like they made it and it's so easy just to make it in a different
color plastic. You know, It's not like I think the problem is stores
purchasing it. Yes, but I mean, listen, I'm not a toy
business man. I'm not corporate, so I don't realize to toy fan neither
am I either. In my head, I'm like, well, why can't
it just be on Amazon? Or why can't it be a ringside exclusive?
But I don't know how that stuff works. I can't find this picture of
that that that figure. There's a custom that's pretty cool. Yeah, it
looks awesome, but that's too toned. That's the matt and that they're not
going to do. That's what I've been contemplating, customizing and getting a little
more creative in that sense and painting differently. But it wouldn't be believable if
we're if we're trying to come up with a fantasy product, for the base
to be too toned, you know, would have to be all want color.
So the orange that your orange idea does make sense. I would love
that. What's really cool guys we've been talking about I would mind like all
black and like Wrestlemedia ten. I would love that as well. Something I
would love that as well. The problem is is not Mattel. They already
started by not putting like stickers on like the belt holders and the monitors.
I wish they would have I questioned that decision to like, how much how
much does it cost to a couple actions? You should you could have put
them on there, yeah, and then not capitalizing it. I also I
wish, like like they would have made like a little exclusive sticker sheet to
bring collectibles that was an exclusive and official you know what I'm saying. Yeah,
sure, but steel Cage customs, I should Those stickers are so small
they can come with the figures behind them in the card backing. You know,
it's great like SummerSlam. Yes, guys come with those holograms or whatever.
Right, So guys invest in these rings right now, whether like I
said, to sell them on e Bay in a couple of years or to
make your own custom rings. We're hoping Mattel makes another ring. We would
love that they have all the options. We just named a bunch, but
if you want Steel Cage Customs, We've partnered with them for a special major
def pod they're making have you seen, I've showed it to you. They're
making the sticker sheet for us for hour and we're gonna sell it through Steel
Cage Customs. It's going to have the major Derif pod logo in the ring,
