So there's a lot going on over there throughout the show that it's hard to not like look at, and so I'd rather I put these scarfs here so that then I feel like Todd has his spot. I have my spot. Once I'm gone, You guys are free to do whatever you would like to.

Homer's in his first at bat, making plays in the field, and you know they gave him a nine year deal. It makes me wonder about Paul Skeins. Did the Pirates try to do this with Paul Skeins where they said, hey, we're going to give you a nine year deal or like, if I'm Paul'san's agent, I'd say, no, we're not doing that. But Connor Griffin, he's nineteen ten year deal, nine year deal, Paul.

I do feel like I've got you know, another hopefully ten good shots to this.

Speaker 2: Everything here is a little more predictable, and that's, you know, the familiarity. That's why it's rare when you get a surprise. And I was wondering about this, more likely to get a Cinderella story in March Madness or Cinderella story at the Masters. And I would say, You've got to be able to be really good for four days to win at Augusta, so four consecutive days, whereas Cinderella. You got to be good one day on a Thursday, then you got to be really good on that Saturday. Then you get time, you know almost you know, five or six days to get ready for your next game. Therefore, it feels like a Cinderella story in basketball would happen more so than in golf, because you got to string together four really good rounds, and your really good rounds have to be a lot better or better than the other competitors there. Now it's a smaller field, but that's why you will always see like Bernard Langer or Freddie Couples on the first day because they can do it for one day. You know, Tom Watson, you can do it for one day, maybe two doing it for four. That's where you have the great, the good and the great. There's a big separation there, yes, poem, and.

Speaker 6: If you go back to last year we were discussing it. I looked at my notes from last year. That was one of the more rooted for athletes of all time. Collectively, everybody likes Rory McElroy. You want him to win that major, but also he spent the past couple of years being the face counter to the Live Tour and that played very well with American sports fans.

Speaker 2: I was talking to somebody yesterday affiliated with golf and he said, without any you know, prompting, that Rory McElroy saved the PGA Tour with everything that he was doing behind the scenes. He didn't bail and he could have made you know, him and Tiger could have made upwards of probably a billion dollars, but they stay. Now, these tournament fields aren't as large as they used to be. There's more money in there, so the top end golfers are really going to benefit from this. But this, this person I was speaking to, said that he thought, in his opinion, Rory saved the PGA Tour. You haven't had any big names who have gone to live in what three years now, and now you've got a couple of them money to come back, Patrick Reid, Brooks, Koepka. It feels like it's over. You know, Deshambo might get five hundred million dollars and I can't blame him if you want to go play, And yes it's relative obscurity, but you know that's that's the disappointing part. We don't get to see him very often.

It's just Yeah, the American public doesn't care. It's not real golf. That's the problem I have with it. It's not real. It's hey, let's get together. Remember they were wearing shorts and playing loud music, and I go, no one cares, Hey, we're we're not going to play four days. We're only going to play three. Man, We're crazy. I mean, like nobody cares. Like the DP World Tour. I watch that, it's real live tour. It's not great, it's not real. But if you can make that kind of money, life changing money, all right, I'm not going to be grudge you. You're the only one that has to, you know, answer to it.
