Comment on What do I Put on the Bottom of Raised Beds? by Brian
I have a raised vegie garden bed, and there are nearby trees/shrubs whose root systems invade my garden. I want to at least prevent them from growing up into the garden. I don’t think carboard will work, as the roots will just push through the cardboard. So I am thinking landscape fabric – forcing the root system to at a minimum grow underneath the fabric and not into the garden. Any experience with a similar problem and/or suggestions other than that.
