Noah Is Here! Plus: A Eulogy for Bennett
“The Bachelorette’s” Noah joins Rachel and Becca to share how he feels about being portrayed as the villain on this season of the show. Noah addresses the backlash he’s received about his age, reveals the truth about his beef with Bennett, and gives fans a sneak peek into what’s to come on this season’s Men Tell All.

00:00:01 Speaker 1: Welcome back to another week Happy Hour listeners. Now, Rachel, the top of this episode really popped off because front and center we see this drama. We see this to be continued from last week with Bennett and Noah on this dreaded two on one, and we're definitely going to get into it today, but we're not going to do a full recap because we actually are going to have one of the men who was front and center in this drama, which is Noah himself. But before we bring him on, I know that I have to give the mic to you because you have a few special words prepared. I'm gonna try not to lose it as I speak these special words. The time is Combecca. I've alluded to Kleenex. I don't have Kleenex. Sadly, I guess I'll just have to use my own shirt. But the time has come a day I thought I would never see, and now we'd just like to prepare for the moment. I'm already dressed in black, obviously for the occasion. I'm gonna put on sunglasses because I'm not just I'm not quite sure how where my emotions are going to take me. But those of you watching I'm setting up a cross and athletic candle because we have some sad news to report today. In Battelns Embatturnation. Last night we lost someone great. And that's someone great was Bennett. Pause for dramatics. Now, I know we see Bennett pop up later in the episode, but let's just be ho. I said, Hey, looking good for Bennett. So rather than drag this out for a whole nother week, I'm just going to or maybe two, who knows. I don't know how long Ben it is saying, but I'm just going to nip it in the bud now because I don't think my emotions can take another few weeks of this. We lost one of the most charismatic, condescending, charming, and coolest cats to ever Grace Vatchurnation. The other men wish they could Bennett. We shall miss your wit, your jobs, your itms, your emotional intelligence, and your chateau. Bennett. I feel you were misunderstood. But if no one else understood you, I did. I mean, Bennett, who even cares that you could spell the word limousine? I can't either, but you know what you can spell? Bennett. Car Service, private Jet, wealth Management, and Harvard, who cares that you couldn't solve a problem that had to do with time, that had to do with clocks. You know what you can solve. You know what. You can read somebody's financial statements, assets, You can manage billions and billions of dollars. Bennett, Bennett, you will be missed. You were one of a kind. You were in a league of your own. And if there was a hall of fame of vatterination, gosh darneth, you'd be in it. There will never be another Minnett, and we wish you well on your next journey. And in saying that, I'd like to close with this, how do I say goodbye to the time we had? The good times that made me laugh outweigh the bad. I thought we'd get to see forever, But forever's gone away. It's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday. Good Rachel, Oh God, that was beautiful. I have tears in my eyes for that lovely eulogy. And I just have to say now, Bennett is a lucky man to get those words from you. And if and when I do die, Rachel, will you please give the eulogy at my funeral? Back? I don't even want to think about the moment. I don't want to think about that time to come. But minnow is listen into your words, and she is gazing longingly out the window for what could have been. Oh, that gets been rough, Rachel. I know you know. Well, we'll take a moment. Everyone, please give us a few moments of silence for Bennett and what could have been. And now we toast and drink this once for you Bennett or whenever for Bennett. Everyone, you know, as sad as it was to see Bennett go for you know, a short amount of time last night, I will say he has a bright future ahead of him, the horizons that Bennett will grace, perhaps on Paradise, perhaps on dare I say something bigger and better, such as Boucher one day, that that gives me hope, and that that little light will be carried in my heart. Same if you're watching this, you're watching me wipe away my non existent tears. Very sim learn to how Noah did when he was talking to Tasia and the one on one Did you notice that he had no tears? And I'm bitter, I'm upset. It is Noah who got my minnets set Oh and I thought over it. I don't think a lot of the guys have shed very many tears this season, not over like issues with Tatia. It's like personal issues, right, Like they cried over some other things that have that have gone on in their lives. Um, you know, I know we're not going to do a full recap, but there were some things that stood out. This was like a little bit more of a chill episode. It started off, you know, with a lot of drama, as we saw the Bennett went home. That's how I'm referring to him now, is the Bennett he went home Noah State. Not over that. But the rest of the episode was kind of you know, we saw some things, we learned a little bit more about the men m and you know it's I feel like now we're just getting back into like the typical Bachelor of fashion. It really is like the There was a little drama, there was a little romance. There was a little bit of scandal in regards to like cheating and pasts. But yeah, this this episode, besides the very beginning and the very end, was pretty just mediocre in my book. Yeah. Yeah, I mean we had the lie detector test, and there is one thing I want to talk about because it's a topic of conversation that it's not new, but Tasia brought it up, and I think that it's relevant and I'm very curious. I feel like our bachel are happy hours listeners are gonna want to hear our take on this. You know, we saw the lie detector test, aka the light bulb test. That's just what I'm going to call it, because that's what it was, just lightbulbs going off whenever they wanted to. But Zach revealed, you know, Tasia asked Zach the question, have you ever cheated? And without hesitation, Zach said yes, And then Tatia is really bothered by the fact that he has cheated before, and she says the comment that, you know, she believes that once you're a cheater, you're always a cheater. And I'm very curious with you, Becca, where do you stand on that? Because people have strong opinions about this. Yeah, I so funny enough. I actually well before we get into the cheating, and I will say, I listen to a lot of crime Juckey podcast and they always say, don't trust a lite detector, so don't take it. So when I saw this I'd be like, m I'm gonna sit I'm I'm playing in the fifth I'm sitting this one out. But they're not admissible in court. Yeah, so yeah, don't trust a lie detector. But in terms of the cheating, I actually just had this conversation with Caitlin Bristow because we were discussing this very topic and in this situation Potasia, and I think everybody has a past, and as we've seen, like most of these men are a little bit older, they're more mature. I'm sure that they've had a few, if not more, relationships under their belt. And I don't agree with the phrase or the same wants a cheater always a cheater, because I think for any sort of growth in life, you have to learn from your mistakes and own up to your actions and take that to heart if you truly want to change as a person. And so I think, you know, everyone has a past, and everyone has made certain mistakes in life. And so I think if somebody were to admit that, like say somebody were to come to me in a new relationship and say, you know, I did cheat in the past, It's like, Okay, well why what happened? And like if you vowed to be loyal to me and committed to me. That's all that matters, you know, Like, I wasn't perfect in relationships in the past, and I've made a lot of mistakes and I learned from them hopefully, and I know what I should and shouldn't be doing in a relationship and portray that what I want to a partner. Yeah, that makes sense. No, it makes perfect sense, and I completely agree with you. I don't believe the phrase wants a cheater, always a cheater. I've cheated before and past relationships, and you know, not excusing my behavior by any means because it was wrong, But I can tell you exactly why I cheated in that moment, And I think it's one thing to say once a cheater, always a cheater. If you're in that current relationship and somebody cheats on you, that's different because you know you might not be able to get past that and move on in your relationship. But if prior to you, before they even met you, they cheated for whatever reason, I think it's unfair to not give them the benefit of the doubt that they were able to learn and grow from that mistake they made. You know, I don't think it's it's fair to judge certain mistakes and put one mistake as not as bad as the other. Maybe that's coming from a biblical sense one sin, no sin is greater than the other. But I just I think that that's a very general statement. I think you have to be careful when you make that statement because you don't allow room for people to grow. And you also don't know what circumstance you may find yourself in, whether it's emotional cheating or physical cheating, or even just you know, with thoughts. So I thought that was interesting and I was curious to see, like how you felt about it, because people really have strong opinions about this. Oh yeah, and plain to your point, because I'm sure we're going to get a lot of people DM and us being like, how could you say that, How could you condone cheating? And to your point, if it's in a past relationship with a past partner, that's that's on them, and that's when somebody completely different. If it's in your current relationship, that's a whole different story and you can take and do what you want with that. But if it's if it's in the past and they genuinely you know, can admit that and own up to it and say like this is why or this is what transpired to get me there, and I learned from it, and you know, however I felt in that moment and after that it, Yeah, it takes growth. And so I think Rtatia was coming from which as we saw her explain, like she that was a part of her past relationship and in her marriage, and so I get that wound is probably still pretty fresh. I don't know exactly when her marriage ended, if she ever said it on the show, but I'm sure it's fresh. And so it's like I understand where that guard is coming from and where she's like very closed off to it. But also like I would hope that she and everyone watching these men, and like Zach in particular, because I'm sure he's going to get a lot of mean dams for those five minutes before he explains the story. It's like he's not her ex and all of these men are completely different people than who she dated in the past, and so she has to give them the benefit of the doubt that they have learned and grown and changed and are like fully committed to making the relationship with her work. Yeah, very very well said. And I think that, you know, the biggest thing for me was Zach is he all did without hesitation, so he knows, you know, he can admit he cheated, He can admit his mistake, and he knew right away it was wrong. Yeah, yeah, you know immediately it was wrong. I ain't to try type of cheating I did, but I definitely learned from my mistakes in the past. I don't want anybody to think that happened when Brian. Let me just get that straight before someone tries to imply that, um, that did not happen with him. I yeah, I I'm glad we talked that one out because I just think that that's something that people go back and forth on, um before we move on and we get to Noah. I think probably the biggest question hanging over this entire episode is how the hell is Blake am still here? What? Yes? Honestly, I like, has he even had a conversation with Pastasia? You don't know, we don't know, only see him either by himself or with all of the dudes stewing over everything. And I'm like, oh, Blake, honey, like like you couldn't keep Spencer your first impression bros over Blake, Am, you couldn't keep Damar who's a personal favorite, ed who at least has a sense of humor. I mean, what is Blake? Who is Blake? I mean I just yeah, Blake's just making making penises out of clay, says out of clay, and very uncomfortable orgasms into it. Health Yeah, oh yeah, but he is flexible. I will give him that, So Rachel, before we do bring Noah on, though, we do have one other major thing that we did see, and that is with Riley and one of one of our personal favorites, and we actually want to have him on next week to get into this and have him here to answer all of the questions because it was a big moment for him and we saw a lot more emotion come out of him. And so rather than recapping and go through just what we saw in thirty seconds with him last night, we're going to bring him on next week. So everyone please make sure you tune in to give Riley the floor and to play himself in much more detail. Yeah, the time that it desserts, Yes, I'm looking forward to talking to Riley. So now the moment you've been rereading, I know you don't want to do this. You have been such a trooper up until this point. I know that you probably have a bone or two or fourteen to pick with with Noah, but we we have to have him on and have we have cand story. Pour up your glass of wine, make sure that baby's full, and without further ado, happy Hour listeners, we bring you. As Bennett would say, young Noah. No Noah loves to bats for Happy Hour. Appreciate it. Love to be here. Thank you. Oh we are ready. Now I'm going to pressace this entire conversation with Noah. I'm team Bennett. Okay, so I want you to know what kind of energy do you know where I'm coming from? What before we get into this. It's only fair, Okay. I had a feeling you were wearing some loafers right now. I could feel it from across the country. I'm nineteen, Bennett. I am, she's in mourning because you sent them home from the South. I am, yeah, yeah, I'm in morning. I got I got my sunglasses here. I've got a eulogy prepared for this podcast as well. You know you sent my boy home. We're gonna since we're gonna preface it. I want to show you that I wearing these lovely socks that your boy got me from the guest. I haven't done stretches, so I just did ruin every muscle I had. But yeah, I'm wearing them. So we got the same energy going on. I'm glad that we can have a piece of Bennett in this podcast. Thank you, Noah, You've already changed my mood. One point for Noah, speaking of speaking of pieces of things, where's the mustache? Um? So, I'm gonna be honest, I didn't realize so many people disliked it. I don't know why. I truly like you got you got more hate ustache and I randomly do a mustache and randomly don't. Um. So, by the time you know the show was over, everyone was doing mustaches and I was like, all right now, it's not really fun and cool because everybody's doing it, and I just I just so must have to wear a mask at the hospital, so it you can only have a mustache for the masks are awful. So when you knew you were in quarantine Alaquinta about to meet the about shout, you were like, this mustache right now is a great idea. I said, listen, this is how I came in. This is how I'm gonna go out. Either she's gonna hate it or she's gonna love it, because there's no in between with the mustache. Yeah, nobody is like, oh, the mustache is all right. People either want to burn the house down or they want to like gobble the mustache up. It's in between, yeah, I mean, there's no one between. It's got to be attached to something. It's got to have like a partner in crime. You can't go solo with the mustache like at all, Like, at least give it a soul patch. You gotta get I thought, I reminded myself, what's that got, Howie man del Yeah, yeah, I hated that about myself, so I got rid of it quick. Yeah's and the mustache, which we appreciate it. So, no, how does somebody like you get on this show? So it's funny. I don't know what that means somebody like me, but it's funny that you asked that, because back in the day, people would always joke like, oh, you're gonna end up on the Bachelor Bacherette. It just makes sense. I didn't even know what that meant, yeah, I don't know what that means. I don't know. I never did. But then one day I'm doing it because I'm a travel nurse, so it's doing a contract in California. My little sister calls me and it's like, hey, I'm at a bacherette party and me and my friends all want to nominate you for the bacherette. And I was kind of like, all right, sure, yeah, whatever sounds good. So I sent them some Venmo for some margaritas. I was like, have fun. You know. I didn't think anything would become of it. I was in the middle of a COVID contract actually, when it was just getting started, so they weren't calling it COVID officially, but it's just getting started. Then you know, skip a couple of weeks and they say, hey, we you know, your profile came across our desk. We want to at least interview you. So, oh, go ahead. Yeah, I finished. So I was like, is this being real? You know, I didn't think it was real. Honestly, I was like, I'm getting punk somehow. I don't know how this is happening, but I'm getting played right now. So I didn't even think it was real really, But I was like, okay, yeah, whoever you are, I'll show up after a shift. So I like stop at the mall after shift at eight in the morning, show up with some clothes. I'm like on my twentieth cup of coffee, so I'm literally sweating. I'm like a mess. And I interviewed him for a couple of hours and they're like, you know, if you're serious about this and you're in a play to life that you think you'll you know, you'll think this process will work. We love to have you. And this was after I've been a travelers for two years, so I've been I'd typically work a contract and then leave the country, so I've been you know, on my own for the last two years, traveling around having to blast living it up. And I was kind of like, you know, I think I am ready, like as far I feel like accomplishing everything I've done to my in my life to this point by myself. This is a crazy way to like give love a chance, but I've done probably crazier things and I'm gonna at least commit fully to it. So then you know, I just decided, all right, I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna make sure my life is, this will work with how my life is, and I can continue after. So it's not like I did it and then it didn't work out. Like if it works out, I want to be able to have our lives smash. So yeah that I just wanted to say thank you, you know, for what you do. I want to recognize the fact that you are on the front lines. You're in a SENTI essential worker. You know you've been out here, like you mentioned COVID. I'm not sure you know. I know you're on the front lines. I don't know what how involved you were with COVID or not, but the fact that you you have to be out there and you're, you know, protecting us and you're taking care of sick people. I just want to say thank you for what you do. Appreciate it, And honestly, I don't like to talk about it because I feel like that defeats the purpose of why I do it. You know, I work in the COVID, I see you, but uh, yeah, I appreciate it. It's been crazy and it hasn't stopped. That's very humbling of you, though. I just want to say that before we get into the other part of it. Serious, thank you. Listen, listen, she's pulling a Bennett tactic and butter me up getting all sweet. She's probably got a gift, but it's kind of just destroying me. Later, I'm waiting for the mail. I don't but it would be remiss of us on the show to not recognize what you do and thank you for your service. Truly, You're well, It's obviously an honor. I appreciate it. So, Noah, you mentioned like all of your friends were saying you should sign up for the show, you should be part of this. We did, I have to admit this. We did hear from my belief. Easy a couple of weeks ago when we asked, like, who was the man that loved the camera the most, he happened to mention you. So, now that you obviously are in it and watching this all back, and I'm assuming your friends and family are watching it, do you think like, do you think that you are living up to their expectation of what they thought you would be like on TV? And how is it personally watching yourself back? First, it's funny that Easy said that, because if you were to ask me, I would say Easy, And that's probably why Easy and I both like we were friends, but we weren't because it's two big spotlights, you know. So it's funny that you say that. As far as my family and friends, I still don't think my parents have adjusted the fact that I'm making out on TV because I keep my life very private. I don't talk about any of that really, even with like my twin and some of my best friends. I will, but I'm very private. And I told them, like, hey, listen. When when I told my parents, I said, hey, listen, I'm either I'm showing up and I'm either going to be in love by the end of this or be heartbroken. It's one of the two. And they're like, it's a little dramatic, don't you think. I was like, Oh, I'm serious. I'm I'm all in or I'm all out, you know, and I'm not holding back anything. That's kind of why I was excited about this, because I have never gone out of my way to give one person a chance. I've kind of like with withheld things because you know, I've been traveling a lot and kind of living my own life. So I prefaced it with them. I said, I don't know how it's gonna look in the end, but I am gonna go all in all Noah, and you know, whatever happens happens. So they saw me early on and saw the funny thing is a lot of this stuff, like me hopping the fence. They weren't surprised in the slidest. They're like, oh, okay, yeah, sounds right. And everyone's freaking out, and they're like, as it seems about what I expected to happen. And you know, I got in some fights with some guys and they're like, I kind of thought you were more chill. I don't know something was going down between you and the guys. They were kind of surprised by that, but for the most part, everyone's been super supportive. Weren't too surprised, but we're more like, you know, how much of this? How much is this that we're seeing? How much was left out that wasn't there? And obviously I can't talk about it. Oh so you're saying some things were left out. We didn't get the whole story, Okay, Noah. So you know you're in a good company here you're talking to we're all we all three have biblical names here, Okay. Rebecca Rachel Noah. Okay, so you're in a safe place. You're a safe place here, but okay, no, I feel like I've seen on social media you've been alluding to this, but you're the villain. Okay, let's just call it about Becca and I loved you jumping the fits. We are actually big fans of you jumping the fits. I thought it was a it was a bold move, it was a big move, it was necessary, and everybody else was just jealous that they didn't think of it or do it first. Okay, but you're the villain. What do you think about that? How do you feel being portrayed as the villain? I mean, like maybe maybe been it is getting a little bit of it too, but I think you. I think it's more you. I think it's more so. I think I'll go ahead something just before to give you. I mean, because I don't know how if you had watched the show before. But usually in the past, when we see a villain, like you know right away who the villain is going to be because they say certain things to the group of people that like I remember the villain on on my season, well not on my season, but on r season, like lost her Mind, a little bit and like went off and was calling us bitches and worse things. But with you, it's in a different way. It's like a new kind of villain that I like, I watch you go down and I see like the banter between you and Bennett, but I like, I wouldn't call you a full villain. But it's just like the show needs that title. You know, he's a villain, You're a manipulator. Listen your boy. Bennett's little shimmer, I mean his glimmer. A shimmer is not a word. His glimmer is starting to wear off and he's starting to be shown for more of a villain. And that's how some of the guys at the house song We we got to see Bennett. He's funny, he's quirky, he's all these things. But then he'll say stuff and you're like, I mean, it's just he was just very condescending and demeaning totally, and so we'd be like, dude, what is that. You know, you're funny and we like you, but it's also some random things. So mine was he like that with just you or with all of the guys too. For the most part, he was Okay, I don't know, which question to answer first? There's so much to unbottle here. Um, why all right, So I'll start with with your question. When I saw that I was starting to be portrayed as the villain, honestly, I was annoyed at first, and all my friends and family thought it's hilarious because they know me, and they're like, dude, you look I mean you kind of looking like like just a manipulative torp. Dude, you look like you're just doing all these things and we know you're not like that, Like are you okay? And I'm like, yeah, I'm fine. It's just annoying because you know, their opinion matters more to me than people on Twitter that are ragging on me. They have no idea who I am, They have no idea what my life's like. So I value their opinion a lot more so. I got a lot of support from them, but I was annoyed when I you know, I figured out I'm the villain. That's why on Instagram I made these sly little jokes like yeah, I'm the big bad villain to me. A lot of the stuff that I said was left out would have probably clarified why why things were portrayed the way that were. So when I the first time I talked to Tasha, I knew. I knew things After that point, we're gonna be bad. And the only reason I wanted to talk to her is because the guys were saying, basically like, dude, you got this rose for no reason. We know it. It's just to make us all try harder. Piss us off all this stuff. So I said, hey, Tasha, I have feelings for you, and I want to know if you gave it to me just for fun, because if you did, I'll go home. Yeah, I mean it was for me. It was for me being like I will leave like this is what I heard. If it's I want to know if it's true or not, because I don't really want to be here if it is. Now, no part of you thought she would have because you were basically saying, hey, the men are doing this and they're they're quite you. You you set that up, and it's become this thing that I like, can't stand. This whole questioning my integrity I think is being blown out of the water. Personally, I don't think it's really all that deep, but you kind of set her on the path to think that because of what you were saying, you can't tell me. There was no part of you that thought, oh gosh, maybe she's gonna take this the wrong way. I thought, I mean, I thought, maybe she will take this the wrong way. But I also I was never malicious and devious on how I did that. I'm not sitting back in my room thinking I'm gonna say this because I have the biggest rose in back history on my chest, which is ten pounds for some reason rose. Yeah, it's huge, But I'm not gonna say all this. I mean, I wasn't devious when I did it. I honestly wanted to know, like is this true or not? And it exploded to right, it exploded into something I didn't really intend. And you knew it when the group, when the group was all back together and Tasia went and on her rant and they were like, well what happened? Like who said something? And you were like who said that? That's where I was so confused, because I feel like watching that interaction Aftertation left and you know, had this moment where she's like, if you're gonna question me, I'm out of here. You see you up against how many guys were left at that point like sixteen or something like, they're all questioning you saying Noah, like we didn't say these things too directly, and you should have had a conversation, and it made it seem like you were like, well, yes I did, or I tried, or there was just a lot loss in translation as viewer, where I was like, we're missing something here, because there obviously is a lot more shown than what we can see weekly on the show. But like all of the guys basically were like hands up, like, no, we didn't have this conversation with you. We didn't say anything like this too, So where did that come from? Then? So you said sixteen guys were gonna at me. If you notice it's five or six, and it's the same five or six that I realized when I showed up. You know, they had their packed whatever they called themselves, the Sweet sixteen, o G sixteen, whatever it is, they had a packed they shared in your heartbreak with Claire, which coming on, I had no idea what happened. I just knew Claire's not the bacherette pass the bacherette. Uh great, That's all I knew. I did not know things went down how they went down. So That's why when Spencer got flack sake in these jokes, we didn't know all the stuff they went through. So when I showed up, I knew that this is a group of guys that are super close. But I have a target on my back, and regardless of what I'm gonna do, I'm gonna have a target on my back. So I was at the point where I said, I'm either going to completely be myself. The guys that are disrespectful to me, I don't care. The guys that are respectful to me, I'll be respectful to them, but I'm not gonna just be quiet and let them hush me away because I'm the new guy and I'm the youngest. Because you didn't have a target on your back under my nose. If you would have just shaved it off prior to coming that first night, who knows where we would be at this point. But then Tasia wouldn't have shaved it off, you know, And that was smoothoth she shaved it off. I'm like she she complimented me more in those two hours, in the whole week or two weeks, and I'm like, Okay, well I guess, but I wish I would have known this a long time ago. But I those guys that I got into it with, it was five or six of them, and they would have banded together. You could have said, Noah has a unibrown blueskin and they'd have been like, Noah does have a unibrown blueskin. They would have banded together and said anything like in support of each other. And that's why the footage that's missing. It's a shame because I'm like, okay, you can see me calling people out and it just being brushed aside, like I don't know what you're talking about, dude, I don't know what you're talking about. But then you know, I hear it as I'm walking into the house or into the hub or whatever. Did anyone kind of have your back and stand up for you in that instance? That instance, no, nobody. It was me, and we're all looking around that people are calling out producer. It was Mayhem. They don't show how bad it really was. It was six first one yelling and Ed I don't even know where he came from. He just started thinking. I don't think he knew where he was. He was just yelling. He was To be fair, No, I didn't expect any of my back that because I knew day well that it would have. I mean, people are gonna be pissed about it if it's if they think that I'm just lying and making it up. That's why I didn't want to bring in names. Um. I just wanted her to tell me yes or no, I gave you that rose to help. I gave you that rose just because or yeah, I do I feelings for you. So nobody had in my back, but they didn't. I didn't deserve anybody had my back at that point. Later on, when they got to know me, I did have a quite a few guys in the house. Yeah, I feel like we had been on here last week and he spoke highly of you. I feel like, I mean, if you really wanted to know, if Tastia gave me the rose for real, you just have asked it and it wouldn't have, you know, escalated to what it did. But it did escalate. And then we saw, you know, you and Bennett start. You can always see as you're watching the show, and I'm not sure if you're a fan of the show, before you can see people start like it's like they start rising up and you're like Okay, they're going on a two on one. It's happening. And it shifted a bit in this group, but just from Claire's season totatious season, but as we see it becomes you and Bennett at any time where you were like, were you like, oh my gosh, I'm gonna be the one on the two on one. It's gonna be me versus Bennett. How did I get to this place? So I have this habit of just pretty much planned umb especially when it comes to insults, just brush them off. I don't care. I don't want them bother me, because honestly, at the end of the day, I'm like, what do I get out of this? Yeah, I can just totally go in and make all these insulted or like, I can do a lot of things with it, But what do I get at the end? I might feel a little rush for the moment because I made some guy, you know, I made fun of him or something. So I would get remarks from Bennett all the time, but I was like, I'm not going to feed into this. Honestly, I was I'd stay on the defensive. I was like, I'm not going to feed into it, and they're just jabs. They're little jabs. Who cares? You know. I came from a family of ten brothers and sisters. We get jabs all the time. It's like, whatever, you know, where do you fall in live? I'm in the middle with my twin. You're a middle child, Yeah, makes so much sense. I'm a little child too. Maybe that's why I love to hate you. I understand you. No, But I heard the remarks even when I when I jumped the fence. When I was jumping the fence, I was like, I know this is going to cause drama, but listen, I'm here for tastion. I'm not here to fit in with these guys because either she'll like me or she doesn't, and then the guys we'll see, you know. But even with that moment, mean Bennett had said like two words to each other up to that point, like we haven't talked. All I hear is just little little chirps in the corner the whole time, and I'm like, this guy has no idea who I am. We've never talked. They did the same thing they did with Spencer, where they started going on Spencer and Spencer ended up kind of being like, I don't want to deal with this drama. I'll you know, I was in the wrong, whereas I was like, I haven't done anything to wrong any of you. The tattling in that I could have definitely went through more smoothly, but you know, looking back, I don't regret it. I was just like, I could have been more smooth about that and handled it in a different way, but how it played out. I never wronged anybody. I never went out of my way to do these things. But some of these guys are coming at me like I just you know, went in and stole other presents from under the Christmas tree. I didn't. I didn't get it. So the Bennett remarks, I brushed him off and brushed him off, and then people were telling me, like, you know, Ivan was like, dude, he's Ivan's my boy by the web preface, you know, people were telling me like, what's up with you, Bennett, and I'm like, I don't know what you're talking about. And then I started to notice, I'm like, you know what, he is kind of coming at me sideways. And then when Tastia said it, I was like, all right, yeah, this is where this is where I'm done playing around because I actually you know, I started having feelings for Tastia, and I'm like, now we're all dating the same the same chick, and you're like coming after me. Now it's actually personal. You know, Before I'm like who cares? But now, you know. As it progressed and she brought it up, I was like, Okay, something, something's gonna have to happen. And it looks like one of us is gonna go home. I don't know how, but one of us is gonna go home, and the other person's gonna try to burn the house down on the way. That's what's gonna happen. I don't know how I was gonna play out. I just can see it coming. So we see you and Bennett on this two on one, and usually I feel like the guys don't have you know, because Rachel, did you have a two on one on your side? Okay? So, and I feel like usually they don't leave the guys alone that long, at least on my two on one, Like I spent the whole first half with them, like they weren't alone together, and so I thought it was interesting that they put you two in the room. And of course they knew Lack Bennett had this gift for you. So he gives you this book about emotional intelligence, and I just have to say, I hope we see the book at some point, maybe during mental all. Who knows. I hope it. Maybe you still have it. I don't know. But have you read the book? And how would you rate your emotional intelligence? So I started to read the book. I did. I think there's gonna I mean, there's a clip of me somewhere cropped up with a little bit of a Chardonnay, my socks on the couch reading this book. The mustache socks. No, they're different socks. But you know, I'm just chilling. I'm like this. You know, I'm not above being taught about, you know, more emotional intelligence. If it's a good book. It's a good book, it's peer reviewed from Harvard. Then it read it four times apparently, but he didn't apply it, so I can read it once. We're not going to have any of that. I read a lot of it. Um, I feel like to rate myself on emotional intelligence, like kind of defeats the purpose of emotional intelligence. Do you think you have more than one of the key components? Yeah? Um. The funny thing is Bennett said self management is the only one I have. UM, But I mean the things that he said I didn't have are things like I mean, there are things that I like make a mission to live by and like put at the top of my list, Like empathy is one. I would say, screw nursing if I wasn't empathetic, because it's not fun. It's not like those days where it just sucks and you're like why would I be doing this? So like in order to say I don't have empathy, that's what I have to like show every day or I'm just a bad nurse, you know, And so I like, damn it. Some some of the things that he said I lacked, I just like, I'm I'm hearing them, and I'm like, you can tell I'm getting so mad, I'm getting so throttled. But I'm like, if I feed into this, I'm gonna look like a twenty five year old punk that's a hothead. So I just have to listen. But I would disagree with a lot of the emotional intelligence things, and I think a lot of the people that know me would as well. Yeah, you mentioned your age, and I feel like you got a lot of black from that. Um, you know you're you're Are you twenty five? I just turned twenty six on the fifteenth November. Okay, just you said, get it read the scorpio. I knew you knew it, And normally I asked, I think your birthday? Where did your birthday? Since the zoom and leaves, She's gone, get the water out, dad, bringing the water. I need the water, the Holy water, especially bell scorpios. I know it all makes sense to all of a sudden. No, but but your age. I feel like, and this is a theme on The Bachelor Age younger people. It becomes a talking point, it becomes an issue, but it is something that Tasia recognized. Tasia said to you in the episode when she was, you know, trying to decide between you and Finnett. She says to you, I feel like you're not ready for marriage. She makes a comment, I feel like you're not ready for this. How did that make you feel? And and why do you think she said that to you? Um? Well, to be honest, So the age thing, that's something I've been dealing with my entire life because me and my twins started college when we were I mean, we started doing concurrent classes when we were sixteen. By the time we were eighteen, we've already done with all of our prerequisits and stuff. So I was, I might, I might be You're grown on Rachel, I no, no, shut it down. Shut it down as a full moon out tonight too. But I'm used to like always being like being a topic, and it used to bother me so much. Like that's why my Instagram handle was baby Herb for the longest time, because that was a nickname everybody called. My last name is Herb. You know, that's what everyone's like, He's so much younger. My friends were six years older than me. So I used to bother me. But then I got to a point where, you know, I'm the ten ten years younger than the people in my nursing class and working at a furniture store when everyone's in their thirties and I'm twenty or nineteen. And I started taking as a compliment like not a chip on my shoulder, but more like let me prove you wrong kind of thing, like let my actions speak for themselves. I don't need to say anything about it. Um. So that's kind of how I've been living my life when people view me like my age is a big deal, like, let me prove you wrong. I mean, just staid instead of having a preconceived notion to me, because I'm twenty five, talk to me and hang out and my actions will speak way louder than whatever I say. So why do you think you weren't ready? Well when Tatious said that, you have to look from tatious perspective. Caught up in a lot of drama. All the drama and something one thing she did saying, she said a lot to me, like you're always goofing around, You're always having fun. I'm kind of like that, you know, in my life it's I'm a more half full kind of guy. So I was goofing around with her a lot. But I did make it a point to show a serious side, and you didn't see that in the art thing. But I dove into I got. I was the first one to go, so I set the pace for how emotional we got. And clearly the other thing got very emotional with everyone. But I try to go out of my way to be like or to show my more deep sides and more husband sides and things like that. But Tacia can only see so much, so if all she sees is us having fun, a little bit of deep sides that she's more intrigued by, and then the rest is me on the defensive fight and everybody in the house and like, you know, caught up in drama. I don't blame her for saying that I wasn't mad. I was. I was kind of sad to hear that because I know how hard I've worked in my life and set myself up, and to hear that, I was kind of like disappointed. But I also feel like when she didn't give me the rose after Bennett at home and then she said I don't think you're ready for marriage. She said it in a way that was like proving me wrong, honestly, And you know, I'll take that instead of her being like, you're not ready for marriage for sure, you know, I kind of felt it was like I see deeper sides in you every time we talk. You know, proved me wrong. It is what it is. So I didn't like caring it because I know all the work I've put in to my life to get where I am now. Well, and h doesn't mean like maturity or I think it's experience that really makes someone who they are. Like I think back to like Ben Higgins actually when he was Bachelor. He just tweeted this out last night. In your defense, Noah, he was twenty five when he became bachelor, and I mean he was ready. He obviously got engaged in and was ready for the next step, and you know, things worked out in a different way for him. But but to your point, like on my season on R season, beck at m who was twenty two at the time, like everyone when they found out her age gave her so much flak and and simply because she was twenty two and now she has two amazing, beautiful babies, Like she's just a badass mom. She just works hard, she's funny, witty like all these things. And it's just because yes, she's young, but she has probably more experience and maturity than most people. So in your defense, like, kudos to you for now coming on here and sharing that, because I think I think everyone could hear this because they just you know, see the thirty minutes that you and Benett were chirping at each other. Well also you were really feeding into it. But but yeah, I think it comes with experience, just with what you do. Well, that's something that I said when I really did get to a point where I was starting to get fed up, and when they started going at Spencer and then me and Ivan. You know a lot of the guys that were in the middle are like four years older than me, and they're trying to act like, you know, here, I am putting no under my wing. I'm like, you're not putting me into your wing. I'm not above whatever advice you have to give me, but let's not try to act like I'm your little brother. Age does not directly correlate with maturity. Like just because you weren't ready for love and weren't out a place when you were twenty five doesn't mean I'm not You can't speak for me in my life experiences. And that's something I kept saying, I'm not gonna speak for you either. You know, I'm not gonna speak for you. Yeah, sorry for doing good points. I'll show I'll slow him down, Rachel put the cross up. You can't even do it right now. That was something that I kept trying to, like say, is you know, quit having preconceived notions and judgments about me and other guys that you don't know because you you're speaking from where you were when you're my age. You can't speak for me, you don't know me. You know me a week? You know? Yeah, so so you know because it's it's a lot of the guys, it seems like comparing you to them and where you're all at. So, no, what does your five year plan look like? Do you think marriage will be in that? I've Oh, I think if I'm not married at five, I really messed up along the way. Something happened. Okay, you were seeking to somebody who is thirty and personally okay, personally now my five year Um, I mean I would love to get married here in the next couple of years, as long as I find somebody that our b life work out. I want to start having kids when i'm like early thirties, so I can still be a cool dad, you know, but you'll still be cool. Remember age, does it right? I'm doing stretches now, so I'm not worthless. Almost just pulled your leg when you were showing us. I have to oh, I'm sorry. Well, like my five years, I want to I'm still trying to devote you know. This year has been crazy with COVID and the Bachelorette and everything. I'm still trying to set myself up financially and things like that. For you know, whatever lady I do meet, you know, we can have fun and enjoy the world for a couple of years and then start to focus on you know, where we want to go next, and kids later down their own stuff like that. So five years is gonna be focused on me and one other person. I mean, I'll still focus on my career and things like that, but it's being geared more turns towards another person with my career, whereas the last few years it's just been me. Yeah, I mean that's Listen. When you have older siblings, I really do feel like there's something that makes you grow up faster. And you have a lot of them, So there's just something about being around older siblings where you like, you're into the things that they are and it makes you mature in a different way. I mean, life experiences do as well, but something about older sibling. Okay, so I have to ask them. Okay, on the two on one, when my dear Bennett was sent hard all right, Okay, Bennett, Okay, I'll just called you Bennett because I'm so frazzled, so frazled on the BacT so at home when he went home, and you were sitting there in that room by yourself, and you have that singlish gleam in your eye and you were smiling. What was behind that thought? All right, First we need to talk about We need to talk about the fact that some of the faces they've been showing me on television. I don't know if I don't know I make these faces or what. I've got this snobby little grin. It's the side of my mouth apparently, I don't know which side. It's one of them where I'm like, oh yeah, I'm not saying anything, but you can just feel that, Oh yeah, I noticed. I'm like, what is that face? Like? Why am I making that face? I think it's a defensive face. You know, it's like, all right, these guys are coming at me and bring it on. But nobody was in the room. What were you thinking? That one? I was happy because once you don't know is that your boy Bennett was so confident in the fact that he was going to send me home that he's telling all the guys he's not concerned. And the thing with Bennett is a lot of the things he does are premeditated. He thinks about him. He's got his sayings, he's got his singers, he has his singers, he's got good ones. But he thinks about the stuff hours in advance. So when she said, you're like, Noah, like she wasn't happy to let Bennett go that way, and she wasn't she wasn't happy with me obviously, as we saw, she wiped that smile off my face. Read walked in and said, no, don't be smiling. That wasn't not a victor's call. You. Oh, I know, And I'm like, you are such a scow but you're But she's gonna keep me here. I'm like, send me home, Just send me home then fine. But when he went home, honestly, it was more of a testament to the fact that what she saw on us overshadowed the drama and the mess that I was in. So I'm kind of thinking, like Bennett ed are gone. The rest of the guys in the house, we're all close. There's not gonna be drama. Nobody's like going out of their way to start anything. We're all friends. I was just happy for like, Okay, I got past this. I went against all the odds. I'm past all this. Now she can see like my real side, and there's a way more to me than she's seen, you know. So that's why I was excited. I wasn't like showed Bennett like part of me was because he started to kiss me off. But it was more like, all right, I'm ready to do this like at the next level. And that's I kept saying to the guys. Zach's the only one that kept agreeing with me. When I jumped the fence that one time. I said, listen, listen, boys, if we're all gonna do this for real and try to end up engaged, I'm gonna keep stepping it up. That's where I said, I'm just getting started. I'm like, I'm gonna keep stepping it up. I'm not doing it to try to push you guys down. I expect all of us to keep stepping it up, and then you know, whoever's most suitable take the prize, which is you know, clean Tatia. That's about where we're at. So I was ready to keep stepping it up once Bennett went home, just having less mess along the way. But I did have a smug little smile. Yeah, I know I saw it. She slapped it off my face. I would. She walked it and said that, you know, well, Rachel, you probably remember this one. I think it was Paradise, which we'll get into for you know, but Paradise Reunion a couple of years ago. Tia was sitting there. She's like, yes, bitch, yes, That's when I felt walked back in. I was like, mmmm, I have sat on my hands. I was like, yes, man, sorry, so speaking well, I want to protect in the future and you stepping it up. We obviously don't know what happens with you or the rest of the season, but if there were to be an offer of Paradise on the table in several months, what would you say to that. I think Paradise would be wild. I think it would be like a mental lull. And you'll see what the mental lall was like. Okay, so I said I wouldn't do it. I said I wouldn't do it. I was like, you know what, I don't know, I don't We'll see, you know, look I said I wouldn't do it. Now, I'm like, you know what part of that was? Because I felt like I was getting a poor portrayal on the show, honestly, and I was like listen. If they're just gonna make me look like some douchebag, there's no reason to do it twice. I don't need the publicity in my life. Like I'm pretty happy. I was pretty happy with my life before the show, to be honest, So I'm like, I don't need all of that, and I don't care for it, you know. Um, but you know, I realized now that it's just all kind of part of how it was. My personality itself got got me in trouble. They can only show so much, and so I kind of took it with stride. I know, like my family and friends are super supportive. Um, so I think I would do it. Yeah. Yeah, I mean I have a current poll going on right now on Instagram and you're winning. So I don't think that team Bennett or team Noah. Oh. I will tell you right now, I might be the only one one who like Bennett. Here's what I realized is how flippant everybody is. Because I most hated man. I mean I'm next to I say, Putin on here. I don't know I'm next to Putin as far as people hating me or Chad Johnson, the last guy from Tulsa. Who sucked, actually sucked. It's chats from Tulsa. Yeah, he's from Tulsa. That's why I got something. Don't say that. Don't say that. I thought I was so hated, and honestly, I was like, why do people hate me? I haven't even done anything yet, Like they haven't even seen the stuff I've done, the like give it a week and actually hate me for a reason. But they've changed so fast and now yeah Bennett, Yeah, down with Bennett. Or people are like I still really don't like no, but I hate Bennett. So it's like the lesser of two evils that somebody's gonna do something next week or in two weeks to piss everyone else off and they won't even exactly. Um, No, everybody else lived is too quiet. They're too careful. Everyone's so careful. Everybody was too careful. Noah. I love a person who's direct and calls it out like it is. What do you mean by too careful? Were they playing a part? Were they were they trying to go for maybe another role in the franchise? I'm just what's what do you mean they were too careful? I think so a lot of those people that you think, are they playing another role in the franchise the ups and downs? They're probably gone, your boy being one of them. Um, I think the people like that's playing a role because I don't want to give you a bad name when I say that, I mean like trying to be the next Bachelor. You weren't playing ben Um. I mean he said to himself, he stayed out of all drama, King of the No Drama Club. They made little jokes to me. Some of the guys just were more careful about not being and it's not a bad thing, you know, it's not bad to go out of your way to stay out of the drama because the people that are in drama it's messy as you can see. Yeah, so a lot of the guys that are left are I mean, I'm the loudest one of the group unless we're drinking chardonade, and rather is definitely loud, and so is I. But that like, the guys that are left were very concise and how they did everything calculated, Yeah, calculating exactly. Not in a bad way, it's just there. I don't know, I don't know how to say it. They were just actually have my thought that some people were on a I'm doing everything perfect, so I could potentially be the Bachelor. Actually that is actually my thought, but I won't. Oh, I love it. I was going to ask you, I'll be very honest about this, Ben yeh Ben the podcast last week. I was being facetious when I said it on the podcast last week, but I was really thinking about this, and I was like, I really feel like he's playing hit the part too. If he doesn't make it in the end, it could be the next Batchler. People already talking about it. It's hard to say with him because of his background. The man's a militant. He's very like strategic down man stripped down naked, you know what I mean like, and then said that I tweeted about it. I saw his butt cheeks for way too long. I was the first time. All I was thinking about was you guys sitting in back of him, just having to stare at his ass this entire time. Listen during that day, I saw cheeks. They placed me right behind that modeling couple that was naked. They placed me right before behind the guy, so I saw it. I saw butt cheeks for like four hours straight. I didn't you there, did not start I love that part. I'm sorry that. I mean, you just like took it. You were just like, oh, okay, okay, what was I about to do? Flip the table over? In that moment. I probably would have been the same person because I don't like conflict. I want to deal with bullshit, So I would have been like, Okay, whatever, fuck it, I don't care. I like to stay out of it. I just had to react to it to be. You played it right, you played it the way you were supposed to. But that was funny. That was a funny moment. Hey, I didn't know he kissed her. That's the thing. That was the smoothest move he's done. It was. It was questionable because she didn't know who it was, but it was. It was, I mean, bold and smooth. I'd say, you guys have similarities. You, you and Bennett have some trying to call me Bennett and similarities. I'm not. I'm not. I wouldn't. I wouldn't give you that crown, but I'm just no, but no, really, y'all have some similarities. Well in a good way, you know. Noah, with all due respect, I don't think you can take Bennett's crown that he holds in Rachel's eyes. But I think you're winning her over a little bit. I would relaying that. I hate to shut it down, but I can't take Bennett's crown. But I did take his chateau. Oh good, that shatau. Listen. I've never been right like they were behind for you. I had the fireplaces going all the time, not because it wasn't hot enough. It's just because I love to look at him lights down. I mean, Benne's chateau was no more. Actually, I think as he walked out, my chirp that I did say was thanks for warming up the chateau. Oh, Noah's nest. Noah's nest. It just took a page. I could play a handbook. I love it changed from Benet to Noah. Actually, well that sounds like a highlight right there. We're totally gonna let you go. But I have to say this because I want to give our Bachelor Happy listener, our Bachelor Happy hour listeners a tease. Men, tell all who's the star? Oh shoot? And I used star loosely, just like, yeah, what is start mean? It gets on so many levels. It gets intense, it gets emotional, it gets angry. Oh a lot of yelling. I mean, there is so many different emotions going on. It's just a glast box of emotions really the whole thing. So yeah, go ahead, because who's the person who's fighting for their spot on paradise? That's usually what the way they say. Oh okay, okay, Kenny, Okay, yeah, Kenny, listen. Kenny's very outspoken. I like that. Yeah, it's got to be Kenny. Then it's got to be Kenny. He was he was, I mean, he was out, he was out to play. Oh yeah, Kenny's Kenny. We will see Kenny walking down the shore. I mean people make fun of me from me having spiky hair. Kenny's hair, as he was yelling, was getting pointier and pointier. All the people. Men, your hair is also tall, Like, I don't know how half of you get the height that you do on your head. Like what products? Send the regiment? I told you, I'll send you the regiment. Herbal lessons is great. Quit quit quit using your blow dryer so much? Too? Okay, come out? Was it the set that wait? Was it? Noah? That was the message. He is too set that Spencer said, that's because I thought I was going home every night, so I never unpacked. It's tricky. How am I gonna unpack when I think I'm going home every single night? You know? All right, Noah, I there, I say this. But I enjoyed the conversation. Okay, I'm not gonna lie. I'm not a liar, I am. I enjoyed the conversation. I thought it was great. You're a lot of fun. Um. It's nice to get the insight, you know, from you that maybe some things that we didn't get to see. And Becca and I understand this. We've been on both sides of it. We know that not everything is shown and you kind of just pick a side based on the two hours you see on TV when there's you're filming seven days a week. But thank you for being like taking it all with fun and you know, coming on the show, even when we give you a bit of a hard time. I'm still I'm still taint Bennett. But I'll be damned if I don't if I don't like no a little bit, now, that's no. You guys are awesome and honestly, the whole thing, Yeah, it was crazy. Uh definitely some punches left it right, But at the end, I you know, I wouldn't change it. I thought it was awesome. I can't wait to see the popsicle house. I'm gonna find it. I'm gonna find it. For the biggest letdown, this thing had like a foundation. No, it had architectural roof being. This thing was. Maybe that was a mess foundation, Maybe that was. I don't know what they did with it. I want to say once I left, the men burned it as like a vigil. But I don't know. I don't know. They had to get all that could juju up in there. Hey, Actually, the one thing before you let me go, the one thing since you guys were talking about Ben, we talked about body by Ben when we all worked out. Um, that's what we called it, Body by Ben because he was our person trainer. We never talked about body by Noah when we didn't want to work out. And here he which body Body by Noah was. You know what, I'm not feeling it today. Body by Noah lay at the pool with some shard nay and the floaty. That's the Body by Noah. And it's undervalued. It really is. Oh no, it's not. I would have probably been a part of that. I would have joined the body by Noah. That's why you can see me every other roast ceremony. I just look darker and dark and you're like, what is this guy just sleeping outside? That's what I wanted to say. I was watching with a couple of girlfriends last night and everyone's like, why is Noah so tanned? And I'm like, well, he's been laid by the pool. He's yeah, so all right body by no One. I can't wait to see these uh workout videos. Won't work on it for b IP because I can't be shown up looking like I do now saying he's already there. We'll see you back on the podcast. Noah, You've been so much fun. Um. Thank you for everything that you do just on camera, but then also off camera in your profession. Truly, I know you don't want to talk about it, so we'll talk about it for you. But thank you. We can't thank you. Nice to see you. Thank you for coming on today a blast. Becca. What did you think? What's you think? I will say? I mean, I've always like tried to be the play devil's advocate, if you will, and I'm not gonna lie. I have loved Bennett this entire season. He did start to rub me the wrong way. So I'm glad that we were at least able to have Noah on to explain his side in his take, because, like you said, with him, like what you see is not always what you get, and there's so much that you have to film into, like clip into a certain storyline, and there's a lot more that we did not, I think, get to see or hear of him. So I was glad. I'm glad that we had him on today. I mean, you're right, I felt like I was cheating on Bennett the entire time I was talking to Noah. I mean, listen, did Noah kind of win me over a bit? Yeah, he made a little dent in me. I'm not saying that I'm going to follow him into the Ark two by two, but I definitely I had fun with him. Let's just put it like that. I'm ustan surprised. Yes, I was pleasantly surprised. And you know what, guys, I hope you were too.
