Smart Mark's doing Esquire and we <v Speaker 3>have a very special guest producer as. <v Speaker 2>Well, but not this show. <v Speaker 1>Trust me, trust me, Tech, you work way harder than <v Speaker 1>Mark does. <v Speaker 6>I don't believe that. I don't believe that. <v Speaker 1>Well, yeah, we're very excited to have our very very <v Speaker 1>good friend for a long time now, the Stampede Kid <v Speaker 1>DJ Wilson aka Tyson Kid aka aka DJ. He would say, <v Speaker 1>you haven't listened to this show this week? Yeah, A <v Speaker 1>bunch of the show this week. <v Speaker 2>J He was very pronounced. <v Speaker 6>We have a long, long relationship as good of him. <v Speaker 1>So, uh, we wanted to make this a hashtag you know, <v Speaker 1>major fitness challenge focused episodes, so we thought you'd be <v Speaker 1>the perfect guy. Uh, considering you've launched your Workhorse Fitness <v Speaker 1>and you know, you've been pretty dedicated to physical fitness <v Speaker 1>and staying in shape and dieting pretty much as long <v Speaker 1>as I've I've known you, so I'm assuming it's been <v Speaker 1>been a long long time. But we'll hear your story. So, uh, <v Speaker 1>that's the focus today, got it. <v Speaker 5>Yeah, Yeah, we're not gonna we're not asking any figure <v Speaker 5>questions today. <v Speaker 1>We don't care. We'll bring you back for that maybe. <v Speaker 1>Uh So let's let's kid right off with how did <v Speaker 1>Workhorse Fitness become, uh, you know, a brand and the <v Speaker 1>thing that you've launched. <v Speaker 2>So, actually, my friend Alex he he was kind of <v Speaker 2>like looking into different things and I don't know how <v Speaker 2>it all was. He was kind of like handling I <v Speaker 2>was doing some signings and appearances and he was kind <v Speaker 2>of like keeping track of everything for me. And during <v Speaker 2>that he got a lot of people hitting him up <v Speaker 2>about if I could promote the supplement, promote the supplement, <v Speaker 2>promote the supplement. And then he knew a guy locally <v Speaker 2>that ran his own supplement company and just went to <v Speaker 2>college and just sold it to like his college friends <v Speaker 2>and was doing decent with it. And then that guy <v Speaker 2>kind of gave him the information and then you know, <v Speaker 2>it's kind of snowballed into there was something that I <v Speaker 2>had a lot of interest in, but I didn't know <v Speaker 2>how to get started in any kind of thing like that, <v Speaker 2>or you know, I didn't put I had interest in it, <v Speaker 2>but I didn't really put a whole lot of thought <v Speaker 2>into it until it was kind of presented to me, <v Speaker 2>and then I was like, oh, this could actually be <v Speaker 2>kind of cool where I could kind of control. Like <v Speaker 2>he he found a distribution company and then they kind <v Speaker 2>of have these different tiers of like all their ingredients <v Speaker 2>like A, B and C. <v Speaker 6>And they were explaining to me that a lot of companies. <v Speaker 2>Use like C and just kind of the until you <v Speaker 2>make it. <v Speaker 6>Yeah, yeah, the higher, the higher returns on using cheap ingredients. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. <v Speaker 2>But I wanted to use all A ingredients and try <v Speaker 2>to make the best thing for me so that you <v Speaker 2>know what I'm saying. I want to use it for <v Speaker 2>myself so then I can present it to other people. <v Speaker 2>It's not something I just want to make that's kind <v Speaker 2>of garbage and give it to other people and don't. <v Speaker 5>I never used like that, thellan pudding and stuff like that. <v Speaker 5>So like I don't know, like just put a name <v Speaker 5>like I was gonna, Yeah the feed be more uh promotions, <v Speaker 5>business model or whatever the. <v Speaker 1>Fun that was called. Uh does he still have that? <v Speaker 1>He does? Yeah he does. Wow, Okay that the loan <v Speaker 1>pudding is gone. I love putting Tommy Dreamer you know <v Speaker 1>the fit you know, they just the poster boy for <v Speaker 1>Physical Fitness was talking about this in the locker room. <v Speaker 1>I was laughing. Remember those protein shots in the test tubes, bro, <v Speaker 1>what happened to those? <v Speaker 2>And they also had like the they would have big <v Speaker 2>glass bottles too that iso pure and it would just. <v Speaker 6>Like look like, uh, like kool aid or something. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. <v Speaker 2>I had a pretty strong and not so great aftertaste <v Speaker 2>because that was pretty decent. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, those test test tubes were like two years. They <v Speaker 1>were everywhere, we were taking them on the road, and <v Speaker 1>then they just disappeared. <v Speaker 5>I I thought it'd be great if you put like <v Speaker 5>protein in them and then like you went to like <v Speaker 5>the clubs like a chat girl and you're giving people <v Speaker 5>shots of alcohol and protein at the same time. Like that, <v Speaker 5>Like imagine being at the club and like at the bar, <v Speaker 5>but that protein and podcast. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, big, big old type idiots. Yeah, club like eight, <v Speaker 1>it's like seven o eight. That's like a mojo Raleigh. Uh, <v Speaker 1>you know, emphasized product. <v Speaker 2>That's just an excuse to keep drinking even more. <v Speaker 1>Yeah yeah yeah, yah yeah yeah, just lie to yourself. <v Speaker 1>Oh my god. Yeah. So I actually, I mean I've <v Speaker 1>I've been taking the workhorse stuff obviously because we're friends <v Speaker 1>and you know, I wanted to support you, but then <v Speaker 1>I wound up actually like liking it, you know, the <v Speaker 1>BCAAs and stuff. The greens have likes I think every morning. <v Speaker 1>But I've been taking greens for years and it's always <v Speaker 1>like this, like I just went outside and licked my lawn, <v Speaker 1>you know, and it's just like so not fun. But <v Speaker 1>then you're or they're like chocolatey and to mask that, <v Speaker 1>and yours are fruity and pineapply, which I can make. <v Speaker 1>I can. I've been mixing with like everything, so it's great. <v Speaker 1>You know, it's like a change in my world because <v Speaker 1>it's like not a chore to take it down. <v Speaker 6>But the greens I can just dry scoop. <v Speaker 1>Oh my god. Wow. <v Speaker 5>Every morning I take the greens with apple cider vinegar <v Speaker 5>and like lemon juice with some water. <v Speaker 1>I mix it up and like it just tastes great, <v Speaker 1>you know, it's awesome. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, again, that's credit to Alex and he was the <v Speaker 2>one that was like, hey, let's get on a Greens <v Speaker 2>thing and same thing. <v Speaker 6>Like, there's this company in Georgia. It's funny. <v Speaker 2>They're not in but their address is McDonough Road. It's <v Speaker 2>like somewhere in Georgia. But when I every time I said, <v Speaker 2>I was saying to beat South instantly, which I wasn't <v Speaker 2>there long, but it makes me think of that instantly. <v Speaker 2>But dude, these guys just have great and they supply <v Speaker 2>almost I'm not everybody a lot of a lot of <v Speaker 2>all the major retail like supplement stores, supplement company. <v Speaker 4>Sorry. <v Speaker 1>My next question would be, so when did you start <v Speaker 1>like working out? Obviously, you know you want to be <v Speaker 1>a pro wrestler and you're growing up around Davy and <v Speaker 1>all these Jack dudes and Jim. Yeah, so it had <v Speaker 1>to be very impressionable on you, like probably way earlier <v Speaker 1>than me. I don't know what I didn't connect like <v Speaker 1>lifting weights in wrestling, like way later than I should <v Speaker 1>have to be honest with you, I don't know why <v Speaker 1>I didn't like. <v Speaker 2>So Teddy's dad Teddy's dad lived in it. Ted Teddy <v Speaker 2>lived in a gym. His dad owned a gym, and <v Speaker 2>he would tell us to work out all the time, <v Speaker 2>like when we were kids, like ever since I've been <v Speaker 2>like maybe twelve years old, he's like, you, guys, how <v Speaker 2>to workout, you have to least beak twentdre pounds. <v Speaker 6>You have to least bea twinder pounds. <v Speaker 2>He's always said that, And in my mind, I was like, eventually, <v Speaker 2>like you know you were saying, Like I was around <v Speaker 2>Davy and Jim and Bretton and Owen and all these guys, <v Speaker 2>and I just thought, like, eventually turn a certain age <v Speaker 2>and you just kind of get big. <v Speaker 1>That's what I think. That's what I was thinking. I <v Speaker 1>don't know, yeah, I. <v Speaker 2>Was like, eventual, I'll just get bigger and fill out. <v Speaker 6>And then I turned seventeen. <v Speaker 2>And I was like five foot four and I was <v Speaker 2>one hundred pounds, and I realized that, like, it doesn't <v Speaker 2>just happen that way. <v Speaker 6>Yeah, yeah, and I really started. <v Speaker 2>I moved in with Teddy that final my twelfth grade <v Speaker 2>year and started working with his dad every morning before school. <v Speaker 2>And it was grueling at the time, but I graduated, <v Speaker 2>you know, not huge, but I also hit a growth <v Speaker 2>for it. It was both things kind of combined. But I graduated. <v Speaker 2>I was probably like five eight or something, but one <v Speaker 2>hundred and forty pounds I put on like forty percent <v Speaker 2>wow body mass. <v Speaker 1>That yeah, wow what I always pop when I see <v Speaker 1>like an old picture of you where you're like all <v Speaker 1>like super bloated or whatever. Yeah. Yeah, the whole milk, baby, <v Speaker 1>that was Is that Tokyo Joe telling me to eat <v Speaker 1>everything inside white rice and whole milk? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, Oh my god, dude. He made me. I ate <v Speaker 2>a few times, like literally util I puked literally and <v Speaker 2>finally one time he saw me do it, like I <v Speaker 2>had to pull over to red Bite and open the <v Speaker 2>door and puke and then he and he was like, oh, <v Speaker 2>like that time he saw it. He saw me go <v Speaker 2>to the bathroom and have to pukee before, Like I <v Speaker 2>remember picking him up to go eat and it was <v Speaker 2>like a steak and spaghetti dinner, potato skins and then <v Speaker 2>a medium pizza like and he's not eating. He might <v Speaker 2>have ate one piece of the pizza and he just <v Speaker 2>kind of drink him beer and I eat and he's <v Speaker 2>like it was all for me to get to two <v Speaker 2>twenty five, so I could be a small heavyweight but <v Speaker 2>a big junior headweight in Japan. And when I was <v Speaker 2>twenty two twenty three, everything was good. I could eat <v Speaker 2>five big Macs in a day. It was no problem. <v Speaker 2>But something the second. <v Speaker 6>I turned twenty four. <v Speaker 2>And switch slowed down, and that's when I was like, <v Speaker 2>oh my god, I have love handles. This is bad. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, all right, you want to start a fielding questions <v Speaker 1>and I'm sure we'll kind of organically just get all <v Speaker 1>over the place with Yeah. <v Speaker 3>I mean, these are gonna go all over the place <v Speaker 3>because a lot of them are are very specific. But <v Speaker 3>I think that they'll help different people, so it'll be good. <v Speaker 3>Michael Lapuma says, I work overnights and a lot of <v Speaker 3>ot so I have always struggled with losing weight because <v Speaker 3>I eat when I get home and then go right <v Speaker 3>to sleep. Do you think if I switch to a <v Speaker 3>protein shake and then went to sleep it would help? <v Speaker 6>Thanks, bro, I mean for sure. <v Speaker 2>And also if you can limit like the amount of <v Speaker 2>car intake, especially late at night, because you're just gonna <v Speaker 2>go to sleep anyway. You're just those cars are just <v Speaker 2>kind of sitting there. It's like, how I see it. <v Speaker 2>It also depends. That's where like when it's a schedule <v Speaker 2>like that, I kind of find like intermitute fasting kind <v Speaker 2>of helps at that point, whether you like depending on <v Speaker 2>obviously your workouts, but maybe you finish your window before <v Speaker 2>work and then you know what I'm saying, Like, there's <v Speaker 2>different there's different ways to work around it. Obviously with <v Speaker 2>our schedules are all over the place. You know, sometimes <v Speaker 2>you're on the road, you're in Europe for ten days straight, <v Speaker 2>and so eating becomes a different thing. <v Speaker 1>Do you want to give like a dumbed down version <v Speaker 1>what intermittent fasting is for the major marks that don't know? <v Speaker 2>So the internet fasting is where you only eat for <v Speaker 2>certain like for eight hours in a day. There's an <v Speaker 2>eight hour window that's the most common way to do it, <v Speaker 2>and sixteen hours are fasting basically, and the fasting allows <v Speaker 2>your body to digest properly in your digestion system to <v Speaker 2>like be active for those sixteen hours. I've read a <v Speaker 2>bunch of studies, I've watched a bunch of videos. So <v Speaker 2>I think when you start eating, it's it's right away <v Speaker 2>your body slows down the digestion process because you're putting <v Speaker 2>food in. But when you don't have food in is <v Speaker 2>when the cycle keeps going, going, going, So then your <v Speaker 2>body starts breaking down and using keytnes as your energy, <v Speaker 2>and that then uses your fat sources in your body <v Speaker 2>as energy. Rather than taking in carbs and using those <v Speaker 2>carbs you just put in your body as energy, You're <v Speaker 2>using store fat. Is the idea. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I just said on the podcast. I started intermittent <v Speaker 1>fasting last weekend because I was like in between sets <v Speaker 1>in my gym and I was looking at that WrestleMania <v Speaker 1>plaque and I'm really lean Mania when Brosky and I <v Speaker 1>win the titles that I remember, I was intermittent fasting <v Speaker 1>and I was traveling with Ferg and I was getting <v Speaker 1>good workouts, and I was like, you know what, it's <v Speaker 1>been a long time. I gotta get after it. I <v Speaker 1>kind of made excuses, like, you know, when the kids <v Speaker 1>were little and I wake up with them and I <v Speaker 1>just want to have breakfast with them. But now I can. <v Speaker 1>It's just easier for me to be more disciplined. So <v Speaker 1>I'm going after it. <v Speaker 2>And Ray Gordy is the guy who first introduces to <v Speaker 2>me all of a sudden when he was slab Master J. <v Speaker 2>He just was insanely shreds. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, you guys want to look for a transformation, find <v Speaker 1>like two thousand and eight Jesse and then like oh <v Speaker 1>nine and slam Master J. It's like like one year. <v Speaker 2>It's not even not even a year later, but yes, <v Speaker 2>that was your timeline is exactly right, o A. Jesse <v Speaker 2>and nine slam Master J is unbelievable. <v Speaker 1>Man. <v Speaker 2>He was like still pretty thick, had these abs, even <v Speaker 2>looked crazy. H E being like what he was doing <v Speaker 2>and he said, oh man, heat only eight hours a <v Speaker 2>day or whatever, and he was like, you know how <v Speaker 2>intense story could be pretty funny, guys, ilieve we're arrested. <v Speaker 6>Him a bunch during that time. <v Speaker 2>So I was I could physically see like he had <v Speaker 2>energy in our match. It wasn't like he looked great, <v Speaker 2>but was like depleted, you know what I mean. <v Speaker 1>That I kind of didn't really believe in it or <v Speaker 1>get to understand it until when I came back to <v Speaker 1>w B and at the same time Carl Anderson and <v Speaker 1>Luke Alis did and uh, Carl in Japan was like <v Speaker 1>this beer got like buggy whip arm like nothing unimpressive physic, <v Speaker 1>no offense and then like he was like shredded. Yeah. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>I was like what happened? And then what really sparked <v Speaker 1>my curiosity is they came over and they were the <v Speaker 1>same dudes, just crushing beers and junk food, and I'm like, <v Speaker 1>what is going on here? And then he explained it window. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>you know, it's just like yeah, I just know if <v Speaker 1>I'm going to get after it like I am right now, <v Speaker 1>I just got to be disciplined and not eat until <v Speaker 1>that you know that ain't our window, and and stay <v Speaker 1>within it. So it really does work, but you got <v Speaker 1>to be disc disciplined and you've got to have some <v Speaker 1>kind of accountability. <v Speaker 6>So I agree. <v Speaker 1>All right. <v Speaker 3>Great, Eddie Bowman says, I'm on a fitness journey and <v Speaker 3>I want to know, is it true that you need <v Speaker 3>to focus on hitting weights or cardio or can you <v Speaker 3>do both? <v Speaker 2>I mean I believe you can do both. Like my <v Speaker 2>thing also is like when people are like I like <v Speaker 2>active recovery days. I don't generally like to take a <v Speaker 2>full day off. I'm just kind of wired a little <v Speaker 2>bit crazy like that. But I'm like my theory is like, well, <v Speaker 2>I mean, your body's designed, for example, to like walk <v Speaker 2>around every day. Your legs can carry your body weight <v Speaker 2>every single day. It's not like some days you just <v Speaker 2>like stay in bed because you're like, well I did <v Speaker 2>heavy legs yesterday, so out my legs, I can't do <v Speaker 2>anything today. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. <v Speaker 2>So I always think you can do a little something <v Speaker 2>in that in that regard, But when it comes to <v Speaker 2>like cardio and waits, I think I don't think there's <v Speaker 2>a I don't think it's one or the other. <v Speaker 5>Yeah, I mean I definitely think it's both too. And <v Speaker 5>I'm the same way TEJ. I can't not go to <v Speaker 5>the gym. So there's days where I'll go and I'll <v Speaker 5>just stretch to do like ebs caves and forearms or <v Speaker 5>bullshit stuff because I just can't. <v Speaker 1>I just can't not go. Guys, on the opposite, I <v Speaker 1>don't think I'd even work out if I would wasn't <v Speaker 1>a wrestler, Oh my god, I would just be a <v Speaker 1>pure civilian, not giving a. <v Speaker 5>Well, don't get me wrong, there are certainly I don't <v Speaker 5>think I ever wake up and say I want to <v Speaker 5>go to the gym today, But it's just been part <v Speaker 5>of my routine that it just it has to get done. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, Like two Broski's point, like when I would go <v Speaker 2>to like a pub public gyms before the pandemic, like <v Speaker 2>same thing. I would go, even it was kind of <v Speaker 2>a nothing to even like a little bit of cardio <v Speaker 2>or just get a sweat and then just go sit <v Speaker 2>in the sauna, probably for longer than my cardio, just <v Speaker 2>to feel something. <v Speaker 1>I Actually, I always think of it. When I was training. <v Speaker 1>I read some kind of interview with Randy Orton where <v Speaker 1>he was like, even when I don't want to do <v Speaker 1>I just at least go and stretch or whatever, because <v Speaker 1>that's you know, good stuff, you know, good recovery and <v Speaker 1>good for your body. Anyway, Like I was not going <v Speaker 1>to go after and hit it hard, at least do <v Speaker 1>something like that. <v Speaker 5>I follow these weird like motivational like pages on Instagram, <v Speaker 5>and this would just happen to be about working out <v Speaker 5>that I saw today and it said for somebody who <v Speaker 5>has never gone to the gym before that he would <v Speaker 5>recommend just going for like five minutes at a time. <v Speaker 5>And you're like, why that doesn't do anything but just <v Speaker 5>to get the routine down of going to the gym. <v Speaker 5>And then once you get like that, that ingrained in <v Speaker 5>your brain, like Okay, I go to the gym and <v Speaker 5>then you start adding. <v Speaker 1>I mean it's such a psychological like fuck fest, but. <v Speaker 2>It's like routine. <v Speaker 5>Yeah, because it's hard to go from nothing to doing <v Speaker 5>what we do. <v Speaker 2>It's like, yeah, that's. <v Speaker 5>Why so many people quit and give up, because it's <v Speaker 5>such a change of lifestyle change. <v Speaker 1>It hurts your body. <v Speaker 6>Yeah, it's a shock. It's a shock at first. <v Speaker 2>It's a huge shot. Like when I was training with <v Speaker 2>Ted's dad those first I remember. I remember the. <v Speaker 6>Hell out we worked out. <v Speaker 2>Monday was chess. I remember going to the dungeon on Wednesday. <v Speaker 2>It was September, so it's nice weather. I remember being <v Speaker 2>out in the ring. I remember doing like backslides where <v Speaker 2>like he backed up the guy over and it was <v Speaker 2>two days later in my chest, my chest was so <v Speaker 2>tight and the. <v Speaker 6>Guy was flipping over. <v Speaker 2>He's bigger than me, these amateur wrestlers that were training <v Speaker 2>in the dungeon at the time, And like when I <v Speaker 2>did it, I felt like I ripped both texts like <v Speaker 2>like they I felt like they went flying off. I <v Speaker 2>was so tight and so sore, and I was like, <v Speaker 2>how do people work out and wrestled? There's no way, <v Speaker 2>And that you know, within a couple of weeks you <v Speaker 2>realize that dad intense soreness goes away. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, yeah, actually, yeah absolutely. <v Speaker 1>I came telling you how many times I've had like <v Speaker 1>a tough leg day and then i show up and I <v Speaker 1>have to wrestle, and I'm like this is impossible, and <v Speaker 1>then somehow I just do it. I don't know, yeah, you. <v Speaker 2>Know, yeah, yeah, I remember. I used to you know, <v Speaker 2>I didn't do squats for a very long time. I <v Speaker 2>just did my own I did free squats, but I <v Speaker 2>do wouldn't like free weight squats. They wouldn't do like <v Speaker 2>weighted squats. And I trained at seen As Gym one <v Speaker 2>day and it was all squats and he had this <v Speaker 2>he has this crazy leg press machine where you can <v Speaker 2>make it so it's like, uh, unilateral, it's not connected, <v Speaker 2>so like whoa. I just remember going on the road <v Speaker 2>two days later and my legs were like I couldn't <v Speaker 2>I could have moved them, And I was like, how <v Speaker 2>much that the rest of the USOS tonight, just like <v Speaker 2>you said, like something happens and everything works. <v Speaker 6>I think it's so hard to explain what wrestling really is. <v Speaker 1>It's so. <v Speaker 3>Okay. Marcus Avidia says, do you think less intensity cardio <v Speaker 3>is better for weight loss or high intensity cardio? <v Speaker 2>I think, well, I think you want to switch it up. <v Speaker 2>I don't think you want to do just one thing constantly. <v Speaker 2>I think your body, everyone's body is obviously different, but <v Speaker 2>I think your body's gonna adapt quickly, So I think <v Speaker 2>switching it up. Like I go back and forth, like <v Speaker 2>right now, split I'm doing. I do like some jump <v Speaker 2>rope or a salt fight between each each exercise. <v Speaker 3>How long? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, So, like I have this stupid three pound jump <v Speaker 2>rope that's really hard, especially the first few times to <v Speaker 2>use it. And I'll do like fifty or one hundred skips, <v Speaker 2>or I'll do like ten fifteen twenty calories on the assault, <v Speaker 2>like and just try just to kind of keep my <v Speaker 2>heart right up. But by new thing my my friend <v Speaker 2>got me for Christmas and I just pulled it out <v Speaker 2>the other day as the Oculus, and I was boxing <v Speaker 2>on there the other day and on my whoop it <v Speaker 2>said like it said it was a seven on like <v Speaker 2>the stress factor, which is like the same as my <v Speaker 2>regular workouts. I was boxing for twenty minutes on Oculus. <v Speaker 2>It was insane. And Maddy posted a video or whatever <v Speaker 2>on the Workhorse page. It look, you know, I'll just <v Speaker 2>punched in the air. But that thing's crazy. I was <v Speaker 2>fighting this ugly guy named Ugly Joe, and he was <v Speaker 2>in my face trying to punch my head. <v Speaker 6>And then well I was so blown up. <v Speaker 2>I was blow I tried it the night before my <v Speaker 2>nephews went to bed, and I was blown sky high. <v Speaker 1>Blown buddies with this phase like where we played racquetball <v Speaker 1>all the time, but you get blown the fuck up, <v Speaker 1>like sky high, blown up playing racketball trying not to lose. <v Speaker 1>It's almost like you trick yourself into that, like doing cardio, <v Speaker 1>you know. Yep. <v Speaker 3>Actually a little farther on that question. So you would <v Speaker 3>are you saying that you would do like a set <v Speaker 3>of ten or something and then do the bike or <v Speaker 3>you would do the full exercise. <v Speaker 2>I would do the full exercise then once I before <v Speaker 2>I switch to the next one, I'll do the cardio. <v Speaker 3>In between, okay, cool, And before. <v Speaker 2>What I used to do, it would do my full <v Speaker 2>workout and then go do say like twenty minutes on <v Speaker 2>the stare climber, thirty minutes on the stairclimb. <v Speaker 3>Okay, So then you'll switch that up. Yeah, okay, got <v Speaker 3>it cool. <v Speaker 5>I think everyone you know as the fire with works <v Speaker 5>best for them. Like some people do cardio before. I <v Speaker 5>could never do cardio before. <v Speaker 2>I need to like, have you ever tried it? <v Speaker 1>I don't like it. I don't like I don't like <v Speaker 1>being sweaty before I work out? Is that weird? Someone <v Speaker 1>also told me like a long time A would never <v Speaker 1>ever do that. But I don't know if that's true <v Speaker 1>or good advice or not, but it just stayed in <v Speaker 1>my head, like, never did it. <v Speaker 2>I've watched so many weird videos and I don't like <v Speaker 2>it's hard to say what maybe sticks in my head <v Speaker 2>on what does? And I've seen them where it's like, <v Speaker 2>don't do abs before you work out because it like <v Speaker 2>activates your core. And then like it was somebody this <v Speaker 2>guy did the thing where he did abs before doing <v Speaker 2>squats and it like brought his squat down because his <v Speaker 2>core was already like activated and kind of fatigued. <v Speaker 1>Got it? That makes sense? Actually? Okay. <v Speaker 3>Arcade Hunter says, if you were trying to get fit <v Speaker 3>but on a limited budget with no access to a gym, <v Speaker 3>what would you recommend to get started? Are there any <v Speaker 3>basic routines or absolutely necessary beginner's equipment. <v Speaker 2>I mean absolutely the easiest, and I would do this <v Speaker 2>in Japan in my hotel rooms and stuff all the time. Uhh. <v Speaker 2>I mean you can do Hindu squats, you can do <v Speaker 2>push ups and Hindu push ups. <v Speaker 6>You can YouTube all these that's all. <v Speaker 2>I mean. <v Speaker 6>I see an exercise that name on something, I U <v Speaker 6>and figure out. <v Speaker 1>Lunges and yeah, burpees. <v Speaker 2>Burpees and you know another one that Czarro will do <v Speaker 2>and he's like, yo, he's like trying to blow up. <v Speaker 2>He's like, do one hundred jumping jacks. It's like it <v Speaker 2>sounds easy, but when you're on, when it's like your <v Speaker 2>fifth set of them. <v Speaker 6>Yeah, it gets pretty tired for sure. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. I don't I know that, like some people want it. <v Speaker 1>And this isn't to like blast anybody, but like, I <v Speaker 1>don't think the budget thing is a real excuse. I <v Speaker 1>think that's a cop out. <v Speaker 5>I don't think so either, because some of the healthiest <v Speaker 5>food is fucking cheap as fuck, Like a canatuna fish, <v Speaker 5>a potato rice that's guys, like, that's healthy as fuck. <v Speaker 1>Does it taste great? No, but it's healthy and it's cheap. <v Speaker 2>And two Broski's point earlier. Then it's a matter of <v Speaker 2>finding what works best for you. Like I mean, I'm <v Speaker 2>actually quite proud of it. At one point in developmental <v Speaker 2>I'm the lowest paid guy in WB, the lowest paid <v Speaker 2>person for sure, and off of work pizza. So they're <v Speaker 2>taking one hundred dollars out of my already the minimum <v Speaker 2>paycheck every week. Anyway, man, I was living off like <v Speaker 2>I would eat I remember at night, two cans of <v Speaker 2>tuna with some mustard every night. <v Speaker 1>Man. <v Speaker 2>I I can't eat tuna now, no problem, eat tune <v Speaker 2>out of a can, dude. <v Speaker 6>Yeah, I'm scarne. <v Speaker 2>I hate it. Two cans for like, I don't know, <v Speaker 2>maybe four or five years straight. <v Speaker 3>Damn. All right, Albert Jay Albany's I'm trying to lose <v Speaker 3>belly fat and tighten up my upper body. What are <v Speaker 3>the best home workouts to do if I can't get <v Speaker 3>to a gym? Are there certain pieces of equipment? So <v Speaker 3>similar question, but what about so for the belly fat? <v Speaker 2>So same thing. And I've seen this quote a lot, <v Speaker 2>and it's obviously you know, there is obviously truth to it, <v Speaker 2>and it says uh abs are made in the kitchen. <v Speaker 6>Yeah, it's it's about abs are about diet more. <v Speaker 2>So than obviously it's it's a muscle, same as any muscle, <v Speaker 2>and you can train it and make it more defined <v Speaker 2>or make it bigger, but you it's the thing that's <v Speaker 2>covering that muscle is the is the fat and the <v Speaker 2>muscle doesn't. It'll help burn it, but the real thing <v Speaker 2>that's going to help burn it is is your calorie <v Speaker 2>and take and your carb intake and kind of playing <v Speaker 2>with that. But obviously things like crunches and planks I <v Speaker 2>think are in terms of having no equipment. <v Speaker 6>I think you can't go wrong with like a plank. <v Speaker 1>And do you think that like age old thing like <v Speaker 1>you can't spot treat like fat, like yeah, you know <v Speaker 1>what I mean, Like people are like, oh I want <v Speaker 1>to not have love handles. There's no like thing you <v Speaker 1>can do besides like you know, and it's always like <v Speaker 1>the last to go, you know, kind of thing, the <v Speaker 1>thing that probably bothers you the most, you know of. <v Speaker 2>One hundred percent, I agree. I think it's just your <v Speaker 2>body just reacts that it's going to react. It's not <v Speaker 2>gonna I don't think you can spot train like to <v Speaker 2>burn fat. <v Speaker 3>Okay, carbon dot Joslin, what methods of cardio training would <v Speaker 3>you recommend for a young pro wrestler. <v Speaker 2>Young pro wrestler. Honestly, I'm gonna keep probably harpening the <v Speaker 2>same things, but like those free squats and jumping squats <v Speaker 2>helped me so much. I mean, like I remember at one <v Speaker 2>point I tried it for a year straighted in five <v Speaker 2>hundred squats every morning when I woke up for a <v Speaker 2>year straight. I did it for a year straight. And <v Speaker 2>it coincided with like me getting signed and going to <v Speaker 2>Deep South, And at some point when I was in <v Speaker 2>Deep South, like that was. <v Speaker 6>Like almost the tail end of that year, and then I. <v Speaker 2>Was like, Okay, I did this for a year. I'm good. <v Speaker 2>But I mean my cardio was insane in the ring. <v Speaker 2>And I think those squats and those jumping squats and <v Speaker 2>a wall sit where you sit against the wall with <v Speaker 2>your legs at a ninety degree angle proa. <v Speaker 1>I just did those today. Holy I do those every <v Speaker 1>day or every day I do legs. I do them. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>that's something like kind of low. It's tag just said. <v Speaker 1>That's something I was forced to do in amateur wrestling, <v Speaker 1>like so much that I fuck, you couldn't get me <v Speaker 1>to do that. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I get it. All the things that Japanese trainer <v Speaker 2>showed me that. He's like, look this how you make lightweight. <v Speaker 2>It's heavy. You exhaust yourself. Then then like, yeah, try <v Speaker 2>to try to do one hundred jumping squats when you're <v Speaker 2>already once you've done a two minute walls. It's very <v Speaker 2>arm Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I was making fun of Gallows little bird legs <v Speaker 1>this weekend and he said, well, I don't squat because <v Speaker 1>because the Deep South they'd five hundred a day for <v Speaker 1>two years. I just hate it so much. I can't <v Speaker 1>do it. <v Speaker 3>When you would do those five hundred squads, is like, <v Speaker 3>do you like, do you do forty and then break? <v Speaker 1>Or is just bro literally just five you black out, <v Speaker 1>just black out your legs. Broski would scream the lineage <v Speaker 1>of the WWF Championship out loud to try to distract himself. Yeah, Bro, seriously. <v Speaker 2>Brian's right. Your legs just go completely numb, and you're <v Speaker 2>like you're finally just like keeps doing this motion, but <v Speaker 2>you're like you're so your your legs go numb, and <v Speaker 2>then eventually your brain goes and you're just like doing <v Speaker 2>this motion and somebody's counting or you're counting and just <v Speaker 2>trying to like not think. I don't know, I try <v Speaker 2>not to think too much and just kind of blast <v Speaker 2>through it. <v Speaker 1>The pushing ups were even more impossible. I remember I <v Speaker 1>would just work on my facials and pretend like I <v Speaker 1>was trying because like my chest is just smoked out, <v Speaker 1>like done, like it's not happening, Like I can't man <v Speaker 1>man two hundred something stupid, like just to warm up, <v Speaker 1>just to warm up. Yeah, I do push ups in <v Speaker 1>my workouts. We would do sit ups where we would <v Speaker 1>do sit ups or a guy would get on all <v Speaker 1>fours and then the other guy would lock his legs <v Speaker 1>into his armpits and do him off his back. So <v Speaker 1>you have to like hold a brother like dying if <v Speaker 1>he's like your body weight or heavier. <v Speaker 2>And then world where everyone's bigger than me, like yeah, <v Speaker 2>the types of think like we would do the same <v Speaker 2>thing with my Japanese trainer, same kind of thing, and <v Speaker 2>I'm like. <v Speaker 6>I'm holding while Harry's doing these sit ups. <v Speaker 1>It's really really fair. I have to what are you talking. <v Speaker 2>About him dead? Uh? <v Speaker 3>Stephen Jones says, do any of you do d DP yoga? <v Speaker 3>If so, what do you think about it. <v Speaker 5>I've tried it a bunch at different times. I love <v Speaker 5>the ones that are more like just stretching the stuff <v Speaker 5>that's like the where you're doing the diamond cutter post <v Speaker 5>like that's not necessarily for me. I think it's a <v Speaker 5>great way to get introduced to fitness, if that's like, <v Speaker 5>if you're scared of. <v Speaker 1>Going to a gym, is a good. <v Speaker 5>Introductory or introduction, I think absolutely, because it's an app <v Speaker 5>and it's all app based and it's like very very <v Speaker 5>easy to follow and get and you back to that <v Speaker 5>like you don't need any equipment, man, I mean, you <v Speaker 5>don't even need the fucking matt. <v Speaker 1>You can do it at home on a rug. It's fine. <v Speaker 4>Uh. <v Speaker 1>My experience with yoga, I love it, and it does <v Speaker 1>make me. I think it's more for someone who's like <v Speaker 1>maybe injured or something, you know what I mean. <v Speaker 2>I think that's like where when I did it, I <v Speaker 2>did it with my knee injury. <v Speaker 1>I think there's been several wrestlers with like you know, <v Speaker 1>backs killing them or knees, and they do it and <v Speaker 1>that's a good way to kind of like ease you know, <v Speaker 1>back into real serious lifting. And my only caveat with <v Speaker 1>yoga is I just don't have the time for it <v Speaker 1>because I'm going to work out and do lift weights <v Speaker 1>to do cardio. I can't add another forty five minutes <v Speaker 1>of this, you know, I just don't have the time <v Speaker 1>of the day. And that's where I've kind of drifted <v Speaker 1>from it over the years. But I still have the <v Speaker 1>app and like if whatever, if I'm in a hotel <v Speaker 1>room or screwed or pressed for time, you know, ye, <v Speaker 1>or like or like Broskey said, want to get the <v Speaker 1>stretch in. You know, there's actually there's a couple like <v Speaker 1>like fifteen minute ones. They are just abs that are <v Speaker 1>like red hot core, really tough. Yeah yeah, pretty fucking tough. Yeah. Yeah. <v Speaker 1>So it has a lot of you know, multi I <v Speaker 1>would never say it's not not good. I would dope, <v Speaker 1>especially anyone who's just like kind of starting out on <v Speaker 1>a fitness journey. I would I almost recommend it. <v Speaker 5>Yeah, I think the results I was saying, the results <v Speaker 5>speak for itself for some of these like these incredible <v Speaker 5>transformations just from using the ddp ogre. <v Speaker 1>So it certainly does work. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, And like Jericho at one point had that back <v Speaker 2>injury where you know, he put a lot of credits <v Speaker 2>and he gave a lot of credits GDP for helping him. <v Speaker 2>And but small caveat like I was only deep Tail <v Speaker 2>for a month. But one of the one of the <v Speaker 2>practices which like I was up maybe twenty practices, one <v Speaker 2>of the yoga, Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Surreal DP is coming in today. We're doing what smoke? <v Speaker 1>I smoke, I smell room. The other thing I remember <v Speaker 1>that day is like Brad j of course was kissing <v Speaker 1>his ass and he's like, who wants to way with <v Speaker 1>the heart mine? And he's like and then he wore it. <v Speaker 1>We did the whole workout and it was like Zero's <v Speaker 1>ears like what are you dead? Pro this like like <v Speaker 1>didn't work or something, and Brad was embarrassed. <v Speaker 6>But Brad Jay you could tell is the guy that <v Speaker 6>has a low heart rate. <v Speaker 2>Just how he carries himself. <v Speaker 1>That's true. <v Speaker 2>I bet he has a super low rested heart rate. <v Speaker 6>He doesn't he doesn't feel like he gets too. <v Speaker 2>Oh you know. <v Speaker 3>All right. Stephen Thornton says, what is your go to <v Speaker 3>a healthy breakfast when you're at home? And how long <v Speaker 3>after waking up do you have your first meal? <v Speaker 6>So like I'm almost I'm kind of to squaff. <v Speaker 2>I don't really eat. I haven't had breakfast. Well, funny <v Speaker 2>I say that I did get some ki kis today <v Speaker 2>or some I just I had this crazy urge to <v Speaker 2>get to get a chicken feeda omelet. But generally I don't. <v Speaker 2>I don't eat breakfast. I don't. I usually don't eat. <v Speaker 1>To laugh, break train, I bought your breakfast last weekend. <v Speaker 2>That true? When when the uh when I room with <v Speaker 2>When I room with Brian, he coffee oat meal or <v Speaker 2>he orders coffee. <v Speaker 1>Egg white egg, white bites, some stuck. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, he's like this is a lot of people say <v Speaker 2>road roadwife, but he's like the ultimate roadwife. He really <v Speaker 2>takes care of me on the road. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I'm currently not eating breakfast because of my uh <v Speaker 1>my fasting. But normally I would try to have like <v Speaker 1>a shake or like a shake with magic spoon or <v Speaker 1>some kind of like really really healthy cereal. <v Speaker 2>You know another interesting thing that I've read and I <v Speaker 2>do it here to this quite a bit, even without <v Speaker 2>thinking about it. But his wake up and drink a <v Speaker 2>bunch of room temperature water and starts the digestion process <v Speaker 2>without putting any calories in. It's supposed to be so <v Speaker 2>good for your health and good for digestion and good <v Speaker 2>for uh even fat loss. <v Speaker 1>So I'm the total opposite from both those guys. <v Speaker 5>I if I don't fucking eat breakfast, yeah, I'll kill somebody. <v Speaker 1>If I don't have two cups of coffee, I'll kill somebody. <v Speaker 1>I can I cannot eat. I gotta eat. <v Speaker 2>I can go so long without eating for some still, <v Speaker 2>but then once I eat, I have to eat all. <v Speaker 2>Like I have to eat a whole bunch in that <v Speaker 2>little span or what of course. <v Speaker 1>Wow, Actually I can get to two pm without even trying. <v Speaker 5>Way, I'll get very cranky if I don't get food <v Speaker 5>in like every two hours. <v Speaker 1>You know, we know. <v Speaker 3>I feel like I'm gonna pass out. Yeah, so you <v Speaker 3>sleep like eight hours and then you the first thing <v Speaker 3>you do is work out. <v Speaker 2>Well, I'm a big procrastinator, so like, and now gym <v Speaker 2>at my house. So my work up partner, my friend, <v Speaker 2>he'll come over and then I'll be playing video games <v Speaker 2>and be like, oh, I'll play one more quarter, and <v Speaker 2>then we'll go one more and then an. <v Speaker 6>Hour later we finally neandered to the gym. <v Speaker 2>But yeah, generally, yeah, I worked out, probably did like <v Speaker 2>a couple hours of waking up generally, right. <v Speaker 5>My routine, do I wake up have the greens, not <v Speaker 5>to plug TJ's greens, but it's I have the greens <v Speaker 5>with like apple cider vinegar and like a like a <v Speaker 5>lemon like pure organic lemon juice with water and that <v Speaker 5>I don't know that just I've read somewhere like that <v Speaker 5>concoction is like good for digestion and like that. <v Speaker 6>Sure, yeah, yeah, same thing, yep. <v Speaker 5>And then like the breakfast I've been having like recently, <v Speaker 5>it's like I'll have like two eggs, two whole eggs, <v Speaker 5>like cream of rice, not cream of wheat, which is <v Speaker 5>a big difference. Yeah, And there's like Bobby Rouge just <v Speaker 5>told me about this this company I'll put in the <v Speaker 5>Patreon like that makes a blueberry like cream of rice <v Speaker 5>or or peanut butter cream of rice. Like the flavoring <v Speaker 5>it's like unfucking believable because for a while I was <v Speaker 5>just having this cream of rice because I used to <v Speaker 5>do like just do oatmeal and I switched to the <v Speaker 5>cream of rice, and I'm like, oh this it would <v Speaker 5>take me forever to finish it because it was so <v Speaker 5>much and just it's like tasteless flavor but what is <v Speaker 5>cream of rice? It's I can't even describe it. It's <v Speaker 5>like it's cream of rice. <v Speaker 1>I don't know. It's thanks for thanks for clearing that <v Speaker 1>up man putting in a cream of rice in Amazon? <v Speaker 1>All right, rice anyway, So then it's gluten free, okay. <v Speaker 5>And then I'll also have a protein shake. So if <v Speaker 5>a protein shake the two eggs and the cream of rice. <v Speaker 5>So I am someone who was always trying to gain weight, <v Speaker 5>so I need a lot of carbs all the time. <v Speaker 6>Yeah, you have a fast metabolism, and like take cream <v Speaker 6>of rice. <v Speaker 1>On the road. There you go. <v Speaker 2>I feel like you've had a fast metabolism this whole time, <v Speaker 2>like I've known you. <v Speaker 5>Yeah, but it's not like a good fast metabolism. It's <v Speaker 5>not like if I like Evan Bourne, Matt Sidel like <v Speaker 5>he's like ripped and shredded. Like if if I don't <v Speaker 5>eat my carbs, I'm just like very very skinny and flat. <v Speaker 5>You know what I'm saying. It's like a totally different thing. <v Speaker 5>So I need to be a car Like for me, <v Speaker 5>I just need to carve up like all fucking day. <v Speaker 2>Like I was there during the Hlacious Beef so out training, <v Speaker 2>But I always heard like, you know, oh. <v Speaker 1>Because like you even I and I dude, I hold weight. <v Speaker 1>But in that era, we were working out so hard <v Speaker 1>and so much, we didn't have diets, Like we just <v Speaker 1>ate whatever we wanted because it didn't it didn't matter, <v Speaker 1>it did not matter. Then he was eating ice cream <v Speaker 1>at night as much as he could before he went <v Speaker 1>to bed to try to keep weight on, and so yeah, brutal. <v Speaker 1>I couldn't imagine if it was like being tracked, you know, <v Speaker 1>like I'm a calorie somebody was losing a day. Oh yeah, <v Speaker 1>really nuts, especially in like the summer, like where it's <v Speaker 1>just like so. <v Speaker 2>That's all just about to ask bros living in Florida <v Speaker 2>in the summer, do you find like do you eat <v Speaker 2>any less or it's exactly the same. I feel like <v Speaker 2>it's so much less when it's hot out. <v Speaker 5>It's it's exactly the same for me because like I <v Speaker 5>just had like my routine where I try to get <v Speaker 5>six meals a day and two of those meals are <v Speaker 5>like once like a post workout shake. But even with that, <v Speaker 5>like I'll add like either oats or cereal to it, <v Speaker 5>and then like before bed, I'll have like just a <v Speaker 5>shake with no carbs, but maybe like I feel like <v Speaker 5>I didn't like get enough calories that day, I'll have <v Speaker 5>like a scoop of like almond butter or peanut butter <v Speaker 5>or something like that. And then like some days if <v Speaker 5>I totally like miss a meal because I'm so busy, <v Speaker 5>I make this concoction of a fucking shake, which I'm <v Speaker 5>sure goes way over any like calorie uh you know, countdown, <v Speaker 5>but I'll put like, oh, it's anything that I can <v Speaker 5>find it the fridge, yogurt. <v Speaker 1>I'm just all that I've led that sun up a <v Speaker 1>bit up. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I think probably because you still you go, You're <v Speaker 2>back at a public gym now, Yes, Like I still <v Speaker 2>use my garage. I love it, but in the summer, <v Speaker 2>for the last two summers, it gets hot, so I <v Speaker 2>feel like I get so hot in there that it <v Speaker 2>takes me a long time before I want to eat. <v Speaker 2>I'll have my post workout shake and I might go, <v Speaker 2>I might go a couple of hours before I even <v Speaker 2>eat anything. <v Speaker 6>I just like don't feel hungry at all, just. <v Speaker 2>Too like the heat and the exhaustion is just too <v Speaker 2>much at times. <v Speaker 1>Are you guys big? Like someone told me this when <v Speaker 1>I was like in high school working at that, Like <v Speaker 1>you have to have a shake after your work out <v Speaker 1>because your muscles need it. Are you? Do you guys <v Speaker 1>believe in that or subscribe to that? I believe in it. <v Speaker 2>I clip plopped the whole bunch. But I'm on the <v Speaker 2>right now. I'm on the wagon of yes, Okay. <v Speaker 5>I'm also a big like you gotta be drinking those <v Speaker 5>PCAs during your workout? Why I feel like you're just <v Speaker 5>fueling your whole body, Like. <v Speaker 1>During what about not post? Or? I take it? I <v Speaker 1>take it during Why do about you? <v Speaker 2>T J minor? All day? I put it in My <v Speaker 2>carries a gallon jug all the time and I have <v Speaker 2>been there at all times, so. <v Speaker 1>They have it after for whatever reason? Do you think <v Speaker 1>that's wrong? <v Speaker 3>Or no? <v Speaker 2>No, no, no, that works too. It's all like like all <v Speaker 2>this is all like each body is going to be <v Speaker 2>a little different and kind of take things different, but <v Speaker 2>it's definitely not wrong. <v Speaker 5>I also take those bc as if I'm like really hugover, <v Speaker 5>I'll make a huge shake with like a bunch of. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I've not I've noticed it different. <v Speaker 3>Anthony Diaz says, what is your favorite? Uh? What's your <v Speaker 3>go to cheat meal? <v Speaker 2>H on a cheap Oh wow, so I'm funny. <v Speaker 1>I don't. <v Speaker 6>I don't count sushi as a cheat me And. <v Speaker 1>Because you can eat clean sushi, really eat every day, <v Speaker 1>How is it a sheep? <v Speaker 5>Listen, you're not getting fucking shipped tempora and it's healthy. <v Speaker 1>It's not fr It was like spicy sauce on it, <v Speaker 1>the cream cheese and ship a. <v Speaker 2>Rainbow roll is rice and fish. And I mean everywhere <v Speaker 2>I lived in Calgary and they have super fresh sushi. <v Speaker 2>We don't have any water around us, like here in Florida, <v Speaker 2>the sushi is so fresh. Many public sushies even amazing. <v Speaker 5>Oh bro, I love public soush. <v Speaker 2>So if you don't include sushi, which I don't because <v Speaker 2>I don't go crazy, I don't like, you know, the <v Speaker 2>spicy man, I. <v Speaker 6>Don't do a lot of those roles. <v Speaker 1>Uh. <v Speaker 6>Pizza is my favorite cheat. <v Speaker 2>I think it's like he goes back to being a kid, Like, <v Speaker 2>how can you not love pizza? <v Speaker 1>Fuck? I love piz rules. <v Speaker 5>Yeah, mine would be like a good chicken palm with <v Speaker 5>like some spaghetti. <v Speaker 1>Like I'm like a savory guy over like a sweet sky. <v Speaker 1>I'm not big intech desserts and stuff like that. <v Speaker 2>I'm so weird. I feel like I'm equal both like <v Speaker 2>I love ships like I love catch of chips from <v Speaker 2>Canada and I but I but I love Uh, I'll <v Speaker 2>crush a bunch of oreoles at night too. I don't, <v Speaker 2>I don't. I don't have a preference. <v Speaker 6>Just that day, I feel like it's very equal for me. <v Speaker 6>I don't know. <v Speaker 2>Maybe it's a maybe that's a curse. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I think Wendy's French Fries is maybe my most Okay. <v Speaker 1>I love a good like chicken cutlet, like hero or <v Speaker 1>something like. <v Speaker 2>I like every single thing I think on that McDonald's. Man, <v Speaker 2>I don't think it's that doesn't taste good. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, well, Gallows is a chicken parm. <v Speaker 1>Lights go out like lights go out? Oh my god, <v Speaker 1>it's where's where's Terry Brounk if you're watching it on Patriot? <v Speaker 1>The lights out? The running. <v Speaker 2>Somewhere? <v Speaker 1>All right? <v Speaker 3>What about we didn't really talk about this? What about <v Speaker 3>less time? You got less time to sneak in this workout? <v Speaker 3>This is Jack DeFranco asking, uh, what do you do <v Speaker 3>when you can't do like a full session? What would <v Speaker 3>you consider a full session? An hour? <v Speaker 7>I think that's too long even yeah, right now, my <v Speaker 7>news split when I work out with my partner, it's <v Speaker 7>it will be about an hour and a bit because <v Speaker 7>right now, the new one I got sent is that <v Speaker 7>I'm doing is a little bit more moderate to heavy weights. <v Speaker 2>For the last like two years, I've almost been doing <v Speaker 2>like a CrossFit style of very time workout and it's <v Speaker 2>just a matter of getting your heart right up for <v Speaker 2>a very specific amount of time and kind of getting <v Speaker 2>out and those workouts, Honestly, I would do them in <v Speaker 2>these hotels at the TV I'm sorry, these hotel gyms, <v Speaker 2>and I would get it. I could get I could <v Speaker 2>get them done in like twenty five minutes, thirty minutes <v Speaker 2>where it's just like go go, go, go go, or <v Speaker 2>you can you know, you can take a bunch. So like, <v Speaker 2>if I do that, I'm gonna do a little bit <v Speaker 2>lighter weight and I'm just like powering through this thing <v Speaker 2>very quickly. If I'm gonna if I have more time, <v Speaker 2>I'm gonna do a little bit more moderate weight and <v Speaker 2>take a little bit of time in between. <v Speaker 5>Okay, So yeah, I definitely think there's certainly times where <v Speaker 5>I'm rushed for something and I could get like if <v Speaker 5>I'm just doing one body part, or even if I <v Speaker 5>could get it done in like twenty five thirty minutes, <v Speaker 5>guess what, just don't check your phone in between sets. <v Speaker 1>That's stuliously dude. That's like, I think, the biggest modern <v Speaker 1>day problem and I'm the guiltiest. And last year, like <v Speaker 1>VSK and Mark had this trainer guy and I finally <v Speaker 1>met with him and I Toldally, I shut up totalh <v Speaker 1>that and then like he designed my workouts for I <v Speaker 1>can't do that. They're all timed, you know. So it's <v Speaker 1>made a big difference for me. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, Stoke dethletics, by the way, training a lot of <v Speaker 3>casters very lean right now. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, a lot of a lot of creative for guys <v Speaker 1>have kind of transferred a body with this guy, just <v Speaker 1>just by getting the knowledge and the information, and you know, <v Speaker 1>in solving simple things as that just procrastinating and you <v Speaker 1>you know, you mean to take a minute break in <v Speaker 1>between a set, and you look at your phone and <v Speaker 1>you look up next to these five minutes to pass it. <v Speaker 1>It feels like it happens the all the time. You know, <v Speaker 1>I'll be I'll be in an uber looking at my phone. <v Speaker 1>It's like, wait, I just took a forty minute uber, <v Speaker 1>you know like I do exactly. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, Jonathan Burgos, when did you find your love for fitness? <v Speaker 3>I guess we sort of talked about it. And then <v Speaker 3>have you ever thought about competing in a bodybuilding event? <v Speaker 1>Ah? <v Speaker 2>Man, I feel like competing in a bodybuilding event maybe <v Speaker 2>maybe when I get to fifty years old, so it's <v Speaker 2>maybe the competitions coming. <v Speaker 1>For Bob Cardona's crown. Oh wow. <v Speaker 2>But I feel like, like, I don't know, that's not <v Speaker 2>really my type of thing. Like I've had some people <v Speaker 2>say that to me, and like, I get it. I <v Speaker 2>get the competition part of it, and you're kind of <v Speaker 2>really competing against yourself and it's a matter of how <v Speaker 2>far you could push yourself into that realm is one <v Speaker 2>way of looking at it. I just I don't know <v Speaker 2>that I ever want to get like to that. I <v Speaker 2>don't know. <v Speaker 6>That's just it's not really something that's super up my alley. <v Speaker 2>I don't It's not something I sit and think about <v Speaker 2>competing or any kind of thing like that. <v Speaker 5>I've definitely thought about it before, but I I just <v Speaker 5>know how much work has to go into it, where <v Speaker 5>Like not that I don't want to work hard for it, <v Speaker 5>but I don't care. <v Speaker 1>Enough to work that hard for it. Does that makes sense? <v Speaker 2>Well, it's what so much little Like for example, if <v Speaker 2>if you're like at like eight percent body fat or something, <v Speaker 2>to try to get that down to like six is <v Speaker 2>going to take so much little intricate work like one <v Speaker 2>or two percent that like you're gonna notice. But there's <v Speaker 2>like the normal person, you know what I mean. You <v Speaker 2>might stand on stage and look a certain way for <v Speaker 2>forty minutes and then you don't look like that ever again, <v Speaker 2>and I don't know, it's not really. <v Speaker 5>No, I agree, and like that's that's like I I <v Speaker 5>for sure could dial in my diet and and you know, <v Speaker 5>I'm not necessarily trained harder, but you know, my if <v Speaker 5>I want to eat right now, taj, if I'm craving <v Speaker 5>fucking five guys right now, I'll fucking order it. But <v Speaker 5>I know, like the next day, I'll kick my fucking hat, <v Speaker 5>you know what I'm saying. But yeah, yeah, I know <v Speaker 5>I could definitely dial down my dye stuff like that, <v Speaker 5>but I don't want a physique that changes like throughout <v Speaker 5>the year, you know what I'm saying, Like, and I <v Speaker 5>understand like dialing in for wrestle Maine or something like that. <v Speaker 1>But I want to look good all year round. I <v Speaker 1>don't want to. <v Speaker 5>Look good like just once and then kind of like <v Speaker 5>what the fuck happened? He looked great two months ago. <v Speaker 2>And that's the thing with what we do. <v Speaker 1>You know. <v Speaker 2>Obviously I don't compete in the ring anymore, but it's <v Speaker 2>fifty two weeks a year. <v Speaker 1>There's no off season. <v Speaker 2>His bodybuilding is not fifty two weeks a year, like, <v Speaker 2>not even close. <v Speaker 1>Like those guys look like dog shit other parts of <v Speaker 1>the year. <v Speaker 5>They're like covered up, you know, like fully covered up, <v Speaker 5>like in the gym, wearing like triple xcel sweats, you know. <v Speaker 2>Like yep, it's like real thick. Then they lean out. <v Speaker 1>I also thing you should be said, you know, for <v Speaker 1>the common person listening to this, it's not like a <v Speaker 1>realistic expectation, like just because you're you know, you're working <v Speaker 1>out and worried about your die and stuff, you shouldn't <v Speaker 1>be thinking about that unless that's really what your goal is. <v Speaker 2>But yeah, no, no, And it's cool to have like <v Speaker 2>these long term goals, but like you're saying to the <v Speaker 2>regular everyday person, that might be that might seem so <v Speaker 2>unattainable and obviously all our goals probably are going to <v Speaker 2>seem like those types of things. <v Speaker 6>Our biggest goals are going to seem like that. <v Speaker 2>But like I remember looking at like and for me specifically, <v Speaker 2>I remember being in FCW. I think this happens to <v Speaker 2>everybody at some point. If you're in developmental long enough, <v Speaker 2>you get your mind starts to get played with a <v Speaker 2>little bit and you're wondering what do you have to <v Speaker 2>do to get that call up? And I remember there's <v Speaker 2>a point where all of us in FCW are like <v Speaker 2>kind of putting on weight, but it's not that great weight. <v Speaker 2>We're all just getting a little bit bigger, thinking is <v Speaker 2>this the thing everything? And like, okay, I know I'm <v Speaker 2>not big, but maybe I got to be two hundred pounds. <v Speaker 2>And I remember going and watching UFC and watching GS <v Speaker 2>and I was like, yo, I know he doesn't weigh <v Speaker 2>this in the fight, but yesterday at the way and <v Speaker 2>he weigh one hundred and seventy pounds and this guy's <v Speaker 2>in the main event tonight and he's like, he looks <v Speaker 2>incredible and he's he's kicking this guy's ass. I was like, <v Speaker 2>maybe I don't need to be twoudred pounds. Maybe I <v Speaker 2>need to start dialing more towards that look. As much <v Speaker 2>as I can get there is maybe what I need, <v Speaker 2>and it maybe the thing just happened to coincide, But <v Speaker 2>I did start to get leaner and I literally got <v Speaker 2>called up at almost the same time. <v Speaker 5>So yeah, and I definitely don't think you should be <v Speaker 5>focused on the actual weight on the scale because for instance, <v Speaker 5>like like TJ said, when I was in WW, I <v Speaker 5>think it's like two thousand and fourteen fifteen ish, I <v Speaker 5>just was, I'm like, fuck, I just went a weigh <v Speaker 5>two thirty and that's all I cared about was that <v Speaker 5>number on the scale. And I was drinking fucking whole <v Speaker 5>milk weight gainer blah blah blah. And you could go <v Speaker 5>on fucking Google right now. It's just having Zach Ryder fat. <v Speaker 5>There's a picture of me. Seriously, there's a picture of <v Speaker 5>the pick bro. It looks like I'm fucking It looks <v Speaker 5>like I've been fucking like all Japan in the eighties <v Speaker 5>or something like that. <v Speaker 1>Happens adjusting his waist. <v Speaker 5>I'm adjusting my waistbed and the rope is like covering <v Speaker 5>my lower pack. <v Speaker 1>You have a goate by which is getting brushed over. <v Speaker 5>It's a it's a horrible photo. But I was like, <v Speaker 5>you know what, fuck the scale even who is that? <v Speaker 5>Fuck the scale? <v Speaker 2>To be fair, that's also a picture taken an action. <v Speaker 1>No, yes, yes, I'm not posed, I'm not flexing. <v Speaker 2>Yes, like you don't actually look like I never remember <v Speaker 2>a time you actually look right right. <v Speaker 5>It's like the rope is covering my chest and looks <v Speaker 5>like I have no definition. <v Speaker 3>It's like you're breathing in all the way to the <v Speaker 3>top of your breath. <v Speaker 5>But that was like a point when I all I <v Speaker 5>cared about was that number, and like, like TJ said, <v Speaker 5>just like no, it matters like how you feel, how <v Speaker 5>you look, not the number. <v Speaker 1>And I think that's the number thing. <v Speaker 5>I think goes to weights as well, Like unless you <v Speaker 5>want to be a powerlifter, in my opinion, who the <v Speaker 5>fuck cares how much weight you're lifting, because, like TJ <v Speaker 5>said earlier too, your your body doesn't know what the <v Speaker 5>number on that fucking barbell says. <v Speaker 1>It knows how hard you're working. <v Speaker 5>So if you're doing a bunch of super sets and <v Speaker 5>you're and you're you know, doing controlled reps negatives, you <v Speaker 5>can make a fucking give me a fucking ten pound <v Speaker 5>double bell. <v Speaker 1>I can fucking have a killer fucking workout easily. <v Speaker 2>At the beginning of the pandemic, literally, that's what I had, <v Speaker 2>and I was able to have pretty awesome workouts, and <v Speaker 2>that's where I was like, Yo, I'm just going to <v Speaker 2>keep then, I, you know, built on my gym, built <v Speaker 2>on it. But I still kept that weird until recently. <v Speaker 2>I finally switched. But I was still doing like that <v Speaker 2>type of workout this whole time, this high intensity, get <v Speaker 2>in and get out. <v Speaker 3>Okay, open up the fat picture of Matt. Right, Matt, <v Speaker 3>I saw on Instagram that you were working with knees <v Speaker 3>over toes guy. Are you still following his program? If so, <v Speaker 3>have you seen any positive results? What other types of <v Speaker 3>recovery type programs do you guys work in? <v Speaker 5>So the knees over toes thing, it's someone I found <v Speaker 5>on Instagram. I have bad knees, so I've tried so <v Speaker 5>many different things. When I saw this on Instagram, like, <v Speaker 5>I had to give it a shot. A lot of things. <v Speaker 5>I don't follow his exact program. I don't necessarily agree <v Speaker 5>with following anyone's exact program. <v Speaker 1>I think we're all different. <v Speaker 5>We're all different I think you can pick up things <v Speaker 5>from certain people and kind of make your own thing <v Speaker 5>over time and learn through the years. But something I <v Speaker 5>did pick up from Knees overtoes guy is the walking <v Speaker 5>backwards is like really really good for your knees. So <v Speaker 5>like walking backwards, like if you have like a sled <v Speaker 5>in your gym, if you connect something, so you're like <v Speaker 5>walking backwards and pulling that sled, and your knees are <v Speaker 5>over your toes because you've been taught, you know, we've <v Speaker 5>been taught never have your knees over your toes when <v Speaker 5>you're squat And he's like, no, it's the opposite because <v Speaker 5>when you're like doing active stuff like whether you're wrestler, <v Speaker 5>playing basketball, football, like, your knees are always over your <v Speaker 5>toes and there's always weight and force, so you need <v Speaker 5>to train for that. And then you know, he also <v Speaker 5>taught me that, like my gym just so happened to <v Speaker 5>get turf and a sled like this past month. Beforehand, <v Speaker 5>he just told me, like, walk backwards on a treadmill <v Speaker 5>with the treadmill turned off, and it's it's tough. <v Speaker 1>I just heard he's called the dead mill. Yeah, the <v Speaker 1>dead mill. <v Speaker 3>Castor just told me about this he was doing. <v Speaker 1>I guess what he says is that like it forces <v Speaker 1>all this like ridiculous wount of blood to your knees. <v Speaker 1>So like if you have like knee problems or stuff <v Speaker 1>like that, they're almost getting like yeah. <v Speaker 2>Like at one point Nya was really into the knees <v Speaker 2>over toes or whatever. After her she came back in <v Speaker 2>the PC after us many are double A and so <v Speaker 2>she at one point was talking about just how great <v Speaker 2>her knees out and she follows his knees over toes <v Speaker 2>and she was talking about what a game changer it was, sure, <v Speaker 2>and well what you were saying earlier, Bro Steve remind <v Speaker 2>like you're right, like it's it's it made me think <v Speaker 2>it's exactly like wrestling. Like you don't you don't want <v Speaker 2>to go take everything this guy does. If you do, <v Speaker 2>you're just the clone of that guy or just fast <v Speaker 2>playing that guy. If you take one thing from him <v Speaker 2>and make it your thing, and take one from him, <v Speaker 2>one from him, same as same exactly as a workout, <v Speaker 2>retuse something you saw that guy do that guy, Okay, <v Speaker 2>that'll work for me or what you know, the same <v Speaker 2>exact kind of philosophy. <v Speaker 3>Let's let's there's a lot of questions about supplements, so <v Speaker 3>let's generally speak to somebody who doesn't take any and <v Speaker 3>might be wanting to sort of want, you know, wondering <v Speaker 3>what he should be taking or she gotcha. <v Speaker 2>So my my biggest like go to is like that <v Speaker 2>are probably like almost I would say necessary, especially if <v Speaker 2>you're going to work out anything from three to five, six, <v Speaker 2>seven times a week at the I think necessary. A <v Speaker 2>multi vitamin, some type of multivitamin. <v Speaker 6>And I'm big on fish oil. <v Speaker 2>I love fish oil. <v Speaker 1>Why fish oil? <v Speaker 2>Fish oil? Like you know, every so times when I <v Speaker 2>don't take it, I do notice the difference. I notice it, <v Speaker 2>and maybe it's mental and it's psychological, but I feel <v Speaker 2>like I can feel my. <v Speaker 6>Joints ache a little bit more or. <v Speaker 2>It's it's going to be pretty vain, but I don't <v Speaker 2>feel as lean or as vascular when but when I <v Speaker 2>take a lot of fish oil, I do feel a <v Speaker 2>lot leaner, a lot more vascular. So I do it again. <v Speaker 2>It could just be psychological, but I take I take <v Speaker 2>like four thousand milligrams of fish oil a day probably wow. <v Speaker 2>And I take a multi vitamin every day. And then <v Speaker 2>obviously you go further than that pre workout, and that's <v Speaker 2>a preference thing. Some people like different levels of it. <v Speaker 2>Some people like that pre workout that's going to make <v Speaker 2>your face tingle, and some people that freaks them out <v Speaker 2>and they don't like that at all. <v Speaker 6>So it's a matter of experimenting. <v Speaker 2>But then I would say pre workout in b C <v Speaker 2>as EAAs those kinds of things. Obviously, protein great. <v Speaker 5>Yeah, I mean to back up what TJ said, I <v Speaker 5>take a multi vitamin fish oil as well. It's funny <v Speaker 5>because I feel like when we first started working out, <v Speaker 5>like pre workout wasn't a thing, you know what I'm saying, Like, <v Speaker 5>it wasn't. <v Speaker 1>Like no explode. No explode was the first thing. <v Speaker 2>Right, So it was like what Drew McIntyre showed me <v Speaker 2>that in England. He said, he you know, no. <v Speaker 3>One I have. <v Speaker 2>I've been around them for like five weeks straight. So <v Speaker 2>I deciphered his his language very easily. And this is <v Speaker 2>this is pre coming to America, Drew. This is he's <v Speaker 2>in England. Accent even crazier than that, like no explode. <v Speaker 1>If if you shook your shakers like the top of <v Speaker 1>bad Off Broski would do it once a week in <v Speaker 1>our apartment in deep set red no explode, which is <v Speaker 1>I'm like, dude, you know what's gonna happen. <v Speaker 2>I remember ordering some some weird uh brand. It had <v Speaker 2>a blue label, but it was like a Coca Cola <v Speaker 2>flavor pre work. I was not good. But the first <v Speaker 2>time I took it, the same thing exactly like and <v Speaker 2>I've already done this with an oldxplode where it explodes everywhere. <v Speaker 2>I had it in my car and I remember like <v Speaker 2>putting the water in and I shake it and then <v Speaker 2>just that lid. It's like all over my car. <v Speaker 5>What the fuck were we putting in our bodies that <v Speaker 5>it would explain? A shaker cup probably not good? <v Speaker 1>Yeah? <v Speaker 6>What was that? <v Speaker 2>And if if you had one that like was on <v Speaker 2>tight that you you would see it like I had <v Speaker 2>a cup where it wouldn't totally blow up and you <v Speaker 2>would see the top like bubble. You'd see it bubble, bubble, bubble, <v Speaker 2>almost like making popcorn, like old popcorn, and it looked <v Speaker 2>like that. <v Speaker 1>I'm in the weird position where like I pretty much <v Speaker 1>if I'm home, I work out at like a thirty <v Speaker 1>nine o'clock at night, so I'll trust me. I would <v Speaker 1>love to take some pre workout, but I just can't <v Speaker 1>because what am I gonna do? Be up and you're <v Speaker 1>going to be Yeah, so I just kind of got <v Speaker 1>to eat it. Sometimes it just kind of sucks. But <v Speaker 1>I'm also just not a morning person, so I don't <v Speaker 1>get it done there and then I'm watching the kids <v Speaker 1>and there's really no way out. <v Speaker 2>So yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. <v Speaker 1>So it's tough. <v Speaker 3>Okay, let's talk about Eric Fantick and a couple other <v Speaker 3>people are sort of asking about fitness trackers. Do you <v Speaker 3>use any apps or do you have like an Apple <v Speaker 3>Watch or anything like that. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I have a whoop Oh okay. <v Speaker 2>I got it last year for Christmas, life had it <v Speaker 2>over a year and now I love it. At tracks <v Speaker 2>my sleep, which is like for my whole life, I've <v Speaker 2>been a really bad sleeper. I'm getting much better at. <v Speaker 3>It because of this thing. <v Speaker 2>I mean maybe because I'm able to at least track <v Speaker 2>what my sleep is. So I'm like, I'm very cognizant <v Speaker 2>of how much deep sleep I'm getting at night, how <v Speaker 2>much rem sleep, how much just how much sleep in total? <v Speaker 2>What does it say my recovery? As we like, if <v Speaker 2>this thing tracks so much stuff, my resting heart rate, <v Speaker 2>how many breaths I'm taking a minute during them when <v Speaker 2>I'm sleeping. Oh wow, it's yeah, it's intense. <v Speaker 1>How does that work? I have no clue. <v Speaker 2>And then it like you just wear it on your <v Speaker 2>wrist and like it looks yeah, it looks like nothing. <v Speaker 2>It's really light. You can just wear it. Doesn't bother <v Speaker 2>me that I can sleep with it on. It's no problem. <v Speaker 5>I I just got an Apple Watch, but I haven't <v Speaker 5>like set it up like that, so I'm interested to <v Speaker 5>say I wanted it for like the sleep stuff. Just <v Speaker 5>I was interested in that as well, because I don't <v Speaker 5>sleep the best either, so I don't I'd like to <v Speaker 5>be more you know, aware of what's. <v Speaker 1>Going on when I'm sleeping. <v Speaker 6>Absolutely. <v Speaker 1>And as for like tracking, like. <v Speaker 5>I've got through so many phases working out where I'm <v Speaker 5>like tracking my workouts, whether it be in an old <v Speaker 5>school like fucking notebook or or like that, or certain apps. <v Speaker 5>Right now, I'm in the face is where I just <v Speaker 5>want to go in and just like do whatever I want. <v Speaker 2>To do in the gym, and then I've been there, <v Speaker 2>been there. <v Speaker 5>And then you know, in a couple of months, I no, <v Speaker 5>I need structure and I'll follow something and I'll like, <v Speaker 5>fuck this, I want to do what I want to do. <v Speaker 5>And that's just how it is because. <v Speaker 2>That's what keeps that's what keeps the gym fresh right <v Speaker 2>exactly from from you walking in and just like the spot, <v Speaker 2>if it's exactly routine like for years straight, you're just <v Speaker 2>gonna walk in and just like walk through it without <v Speaker 2>thinking twice and just get out of it, right. <v Speaker 5>And you know we've all been working out for probably <v Speaker 5>close to twenty years now, you know, so you got <v Speaker 5>to switch it up. <v Speaker 1>Wait to quit with no end in sight? Man, God <v Speaker 1>damn it. <v Speaker 2>No. <v Speaker 1>I see guys like you know, Dusted and Jericho, and <v Speaker 1>I'm just like, God, damn, these guys are gonna go <v Speaker 1>at their age. I can do it too. So yep, <v Speaker 1>it's inspiring. But you know, you take care of yourself, <v Speaker 1>you know. I mean, father Father time' is gonna get everybody. <v Speaker 2>But you know that's why I like working out with <v Speaker 2>with this this guy that I'm this kid that I'm <v Speaker 2>out of the Chymney's like twenty three. So he wants <v Speaker 2>to he wants to go hard every day and I <v Speaker 2>can't go hard everyday. I'm forty one now, but I can. <v Speaker 2>I can fake some things and tone some things back, <v Speaker 2>and you know, we get a great workout, but it's <v Speaker 2>like he definitely pushes me. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, and it's pretty weird. <v Speaker 5>Like now almost thirty seven, I feel better now with <v Speaker 5>my body and in the gym than I did ten <v Speaker 5>years ago because I'm taking care of myself better, whether <v Speaker 5>it be recovery like stretching or you know, actually warming <v Speaker 5>up properly as supposed to just going in and just <v Speaker 5>fucking grabbing fucking dumbbells. You know, So you gotta have <v Speaker 5>some sort of like active recovery. And my problem was <v Speaker 5>I would kind of wait till something was bothering me <v Speaker 5>before I would get a massage or go to the <v Speaker 5>cairo or stretch. You gotta be like ahead of the <v Speaker 5>curve and not You don't necessarily have to be just <v Speaker 5>an athlete or a wrestler, because guess what, if you're <v Speaker 5>working out, you're gonna pull something or strain something or <v Speaker 5>probably you know, you could tear something. <v Speaker 1>Fuck. I mean, it's all possible, but you got to <v Speaker 1>be proactive and not like reactive in that I did <v Speaker 1>a van Terminator an impact. It's Gonnair this week I <v Speaker 1>swear I partially tore my hamstring. It's like still it's <v Speaker 1>been weeks. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, all right, last question, then we can close this out. <v Speaker 3>We've talked about this kind of before, but maybe I'll <v Speaker 3>get your take. How about some tips Dennis Fletcher? Uh, <v Speaker 3>for when you're on on the road. I mean, obviously <v Speaker 3>it's a lot easier when you have like a meal <v Speaker 3>prep at home, or you have your your food and <v Speaker 3>the you know fridge that you're used to, but you're <v Speaker 3>on the road for a couple of days or whatever. <v Speaker 3>What what are you? What's your go to? <v Speaker 2>So? I mean I don't but I once I guess <v Speaker 2>what I think the back once while I have brought <v Speaker 2>my heat right on the road with me, but a <v Speaker 2>lot of times I just kind of leave it. <v Speaker 6>At home and I'll on the road. <v Speaker 4>Uh. <v Speaker 6>Uber eats. <v Speaker 2>Uber eats has changed a lot of a lot of things. <v Speaker 2>I think, like it used to be before, Like delivery <v Speaker 2>wasn't a thing in terms of you you can get pizza. <v Speaker 1>Deliver pizza, that's it. Yeah. Yeah, remember checking into hotels <v Speaker 1>and they give you like the paper, many of the <v Speaker 1>local like just crap exactly. <v Speaker 2>So I feel like obviously that has something like Uber <v Speaker 2>Eats has made it where you can eat a lot <v Speaker 2>healthier on the road, and just the explosion of like <v Speaker 2>all these different smoothie places, offsite bowl like. <v Speaker 1>Those, even like just Dude, seven eleven has an unreal <v Speaker 1>like protein bar selection for sure, you know what I mean, <v Speaker 1>The even shakes in the frase like there's there, options <v Speaker 1>are there? <v Speaker 2>You know, the options are definitely there. <v Speaker 1>I go to seven eleven has been bananas. Yeah, yes. <v Speaker 5>My go to when it comes to fast food is <v Speaker 5>Wendy's because I will get uh two chicken sandwiches and <v Speaker 5>just eat the chicken breast off. <v Speaker 1>But they have baked potatoes, So I love doing that. <v Speaker 1>I love doing that. I'd rather a real fucking meal, <v Speaker 1>but I'd rather that over I was. I'm sure we <v Speaker 1>all been there. <v Speaker 5>Like oh if I just eat McDonald's and just eat <v Speaker 5>the burger and no butt, like, that's fucking like hell. <v Speaker 1>I used to live off that desperation ship. <v Speaker 5>I mean I used to live oh yeah, being healthy <v Speaker 5>because I eat the burgers and no buds, just brotea. <v Speaker 2>I think my final year on the road as a talent, <v Speaker 2>I was doing after the shows wore mcdoubles. <v Speaker 5>Just eat the meat, meat. <v Speaker 2>Meat, And I don't I don't usually like onions, but <v Speaker 2>I do because whatever they are, little candies or whatever <v Speaker 2>they are, the little onions. <v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, best onions in the world. Yeah, I know what. <v Speaker 6>There's some there's something else. <v Speaker 1>But if I like, if I'm just fully tapped, I'll <v Speaker 1>just get junior baked cheeseburgers. I get like eight of <v Speaker 1>them and just keep throwing the buns way and eating <v Speaker 1>the like meat like a taco, just to like whatever. <v Speaker 1>I don't know. <v Speaker 2>Remember like Abraham Washington talking about Keto, and I remember <v Speaker 2>he said he told me he would order a pizza <v Speaker 2>and just eat the cheese and the meat and. <v Speaker 1>A big show do that a lot when he when <v Speaker 1>big Shots came back and dropped all that weight for <v Speaker 1>may whether he was Keto, and like that's the first <v Speaker 1>time I kind of got like kind of familiar with <v Speaker 1>all that stuff. And I don't know. Bruscar memories. This <v Speaker 1>one time he like finally broke on like a tour <v Speaker 1>and he was sitting there in like a bowl of <v Speaker 1>rice and he just broke out this like sweat, like <v Speaker 1>the craziest face sweat because his body was just like <v Speaker 1>getting all these cars of overs, I was like, oh shit, <v Speaker 1>this should worked or there's something to it, you know. <v Speaker 1>Ship Yeah, all right, well I think I think a <v Speaker 1>lot of that stuff. But I think we should wrap <v Speaker 1>this up by saying like it's just like you know, <v Speaker 1>being focused and accountability and like, you know, just you're <v Speaker 1>gonna have your good days your bad days. I know, <v Speaker 1>like if I miss a workout, I feel like shitty <v Speaker 1>about myself. So like if I get that workout, and <v Speaker 1>it's just it's good for like my mental health too <v Speaker 1>kind of thing, you know, and my. <v Speaker 2>Moving forward, right, And it's all consistency, just like you said, <v Speaker 2>No one's going to be one hundred percent. I don't <v Speaker 2>work out every single day. I've missed workouts obviously, it's <v Speaker 2>like you said that it sucks, and I'm just like, okay, tomorrow, <v Speaker 2>I'm gonna make sure I train hard and I do. <v Speaker 2>And like you said, it's all accountability and it's all <v Speaker 2>trial and error. No one, you're not gonna just walk <v Speaker 2>into a gym and figure this out in your first <v Speaker 2>time going Like what like Broski said earlier, that little <v Speaker 2>five minute thing is actually a pretty cool idea in <v Speaker 2>terms of like you know, getting adjusted and adapting because <v Speaker 2>it's gonna be a. <v Speaker 6>Lot of trial and error. <v Speaker 2>You're gonna try something that you saw work for some <v Speaker 2>guy in a video and it doesn't work for you. <v Speaker 2>But how can you how can you hit that same <v Speaker 2>body part that guy was hitting but it's not quite <v Speaker 2>working on that exercise and you gotta again it. You <v Speaker 2>just say, it's just experimenting. <v Speaker 5>Yeah, and you know we're we've all been going to <v Speaker 5>the gym for decades and we're still picking things up <v Speaker 5>and changing things up and learning. So don't expect to <v Speaker 5>just walk into a gym and fucking walk out as <v Speaker 5>mister Olympia. It's not gonna happen. <v Speaker 1>Literally, you walk in James Ellsworth and come out Chris Masters. <v Speaker 1>That's how well. <v Speaker 2>You know guy through that? Really? <v Speaker 1>Yes, he actually he's one of the guys. Explained it <v Speaker 1>to me pretty good. <v Speaker 2>And he had like he had like he always had <v Speaker 2>like oil on him. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, you get more macademia, like if you are you know, <v Speaker 1>you really need all that fat. <v Speaker 2>It's crazy and in my mind, in my mind for <v Speaker 2>some I remember being on tour and it was one <v Speaker 2>of those where I'm like, oh, yeah, I'm an idiot, <v Speaker 2>But in my mind carbs. He didn't like in that <v Speaker 2>being in katosis, the carbs from fruits for some reason <v Speaker 2>in my brain didn't count. <v Speaker 6>So I remember I want to on the bus to <v Speaker 6>grab a bit. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, count big time. Yeah. <v Speaker 2>I remember grabbing a banana and mass like you kid, <v Speaker 2>you want to do that? Man, you're gonna break out <v Speaker 2>of katosis? What? And then like broke it up. I left, <v Speaker 2>My dad left the banana, walked back to my seat. Well, <v Speaker 2>Master's lectured me in a friendly way. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. <v Speaker 2>Like today today, I was just doing squats that I <v Speaker 2>saw a video where you put a plate on the <v Speaker 2>ground and you put one leg on and so it's <v Speaker 2>like a sem trickle and you do squats and you <v Speaker 2>switch the other side it's supposed to. I tried it <v Speaker 2>today for the very first time, to Brosky point of <v Speaker 2>we've been working out for decades and like I literally <v Speaker 2>tried something brand new for the very first time today. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. Yeah, marketized trainer saying I have to look it <v Speaker 1>up all the time. It's kind of interesting, you know today. <v Speaker 3>Yeah. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, yeah. <v Speaker 1>But I like it though, because if it's if it's <v Speaker 1>like I said, if it's the same ship, you become <v Speaker 1>very unfocused and unmotivated. So it's good, very autopilot. Yeah yeah, <v Speaker 1>Uh Tea, let's plug Workhorse Fitness. Uh website, supplements, everything you. <v Speaker 6>Got workhorse Fitness dot com. <v Speaker 2>Uh at workhorse Fitness on on Instagram. Uh, right now <v Speaker 2>we have we're working on a lot. Uh, we're bringing <v Speaker 2>trying to get a lot more clothes actually with the <v Speaker 2>pandemic and with like I mean obviously I know, I <v Speaker 2>know you guys know, but the shipping costs have gone crazy. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>so like so ship ship shipping two pound protein pub <v Speaker 2>Like maybe it's calmed down a little bit now, but <v Speaker 2>within like the past year, it would cost more to <v Speaker 2>ship it than it costs to buy it. <v Speaker 1>It's crazy. <v Speaker 2>Like so it's like, but the clothes, the clothes, like <v Speaker 2>the shirts have been great. We're working on some sweatpants <v Speaker 2>and things like that, and maybe not like a total shift, <v Speaker 2>but I think go a little bit more towards pushing <v Speaker 2>some clothes out. And then uh, and we have the <v Speaker 2>fat burners, which are by far our best seller. The <v Speaker 2>fat burners do amazing. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, we didn't touch on that. I actually take the <v Speaker 1>fat burners and I've taken i think every fat burner <v Speaker 1>known to man and I like these because it's not <v Speaker 1>like nothing, and it's not one that's going to make <v Speaker 1>you like a maniac. It's a great right there. <v Speaker 2>I think, yeah, fat burners. At one point in FCW <v Speaker 2>that like you got really jittery, and I mean it <v Speaker 2>really did curb your appetite. But I remember being there <v Speaker 2>was the first time. I like, I never crashed off <v Speaker 2>supplements before, but that these fat burners I was taking. <v Speaker 2>At one point I was like, oh, this crash is real, <v Speaker 2>Like every afternoon I need to take. <v Speaker 1>A nap, justin Gabriel gave me when I passed out <v Speaker 1>after a match one time. It was so from freaking <v Speaker 1>South Africa or something, but jesus, uh, someone else. You <v Speaker 1>got the fat burners, the b C A as, the <v Speaker 1>green greens. <v Speaker 2>The protein and pre workout nice and then like yeah, <v Speaker 2>like I said, well, working on a bunch of different clothes, <v Speaker 2>different hoodies, sweatpants, so just trying to actually come up <v Speaker 2>with a whole bunch of assortment of clothes. I think <v Speaker 2>those those do really well. <v Speaker 1>I don't know if you guys agree with, but I <v Speaker 1>kind of feel like that's part of working at too, like, <v Speaker 1>especially if you go to a public gym there's something <v Speaker 1>about like the way you look and feeling confident. I <v Speaker 1>don't know, but your confidence and. <v Speaker 3>Oh you mean a sick ass nWo cut off with <v Speaker 3>rock socks to my knees. <v Speaker 1>Hell yeah, I don't know. There's something about it, like <v Speaker 1>the like look good, feel good, play good kind of mentality. <v Speaker 2>I agree. <v Speaker 1>If you. <v Speaker 2>If you, for example, if you come to the building <v Speaker 2>for TV and you know that you're you're in good shape, <v Speaker 2>you've been like dialed in, you feel good. You know <v Speaker 2>that like whatever match you have that day, you you're <v Speaker 2>not worried about your physique in that moment. You know <v Speaker 2>that's taken care of. You know what I mean? <v Speaker 1>Well, come man, this is fun. I hope this helped <v Speaker 1>a lot of people. About to do another one soon <v Speaker 1>for sure. No, thank you, hell yeah, thanks man, The <v Speaker 1>Stampy Kid, t J. Wilson, thank you man. Thanks you guys. <v Speaker 4>Day stand stand Stand Stan
