<v Speaker 1>All. Right now it is time to get into WWF's
<v Speaker 1>Saturday Night's Main Event. November two, nineteen eighty five.
<v Speaker 2>That is the year that's and I didn't realize, how
<v Speaker 2>you know, around the same time as the last one
<v Speaker 2>we watched. This was I think this is coming off
<v Speaker 2>the heels of the last Saturday Night's Main event that
<v Speaker 2>aired with the Uncle Elmer wedding. Oh yeah, some fallout
<v Speaker 2>from that here. But before we get into this episode
<v Speaker 2>of Saturday Nights Main Event, we have just a little
<v Speaker 2>bit of observers before you here today from The Observer
<v Speaker 2>October nineteenth, nineteen eighty five. In New Japan News, Meltzer says,
<v Speaker 2>we start this week with one of the strangest matches
<v Speaker 2>in wrestling history, the Antonio Andoki versus Massa Sito match
<v Speaker 2>on the empty island of gonru Jima on October fourth.
<v Speaker 2>This is New Japan's take on the Funk lawl or
<v Speaker 2>Empty Arena match, and legend has it that the island
<v Speaker 2>is where samurai warriors would fight to the death. They
<v Speaker 2>had a ring set up and two tenths for the competitors,
<v Speaker 2>and the only other people present were reporters and the
<v Speaker 2>camera crew. It was supposed to start at sunrise and
<v Speaker 2>Tyto came out twice and Anoki was nowhere to be seen.
<v Speaker 2>At four pm, Saito came out one more time and
<v Speaker 2>Anoke jumped out of the jungle to ambush him and
<v Speaker 2>start the match. The official report is that Anok won
<v Speaker 2>after two hours, five minutes and fourteen seconds when one
<v Speaker 2>of the color commentary guys stopped the fight when Syto
<v Speaker 2>was put out with a sleeper. About thirty minutes of
<v Speaker 2>the match aired the next night, and apparently the actual
<v Speaker 2>length was something around forty five minutes total and mostly
<v Speaker 2>rest holds. This is fucking insane sounding. I've never heard
<v Speaker 2>of this that you said.
<v Speaker 4>There was thirty minutes of footage they and.
<v Speaker 2>So I was looking into it just to see because
<v Speaker 2>I was like, oh, maybe this is something we could watch,
<v Speaker 2>and then I was like, oh, this is a two
<v Speaker 2>hour match, and I guess they did air most of it,
<v Speaker 2>and like I found it on Reddit eleven years ago,
<v Speaker 2>somebody posted it in twelve parts, but they're all gone.
<v Speaker 1>That's all going, man.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I don't know if we'll be ever watching this match,
<v Speaker 2>or maybe I'll sit down and watch it myself alone,
<v Speaker 2>unrecorded and not tell about anybody about it.
<v Speaker 1>That's the best way to watch it.
<v Speaker 2>Just anything tv ASA. He spent one hundred and thirty
<v Speaker 2>five thousand dollars for production costs on the jungle match
<v Speaker 2>between Aenoki and Zieto. How much included one hundred and
<v Speaker 2>thirty five thousand US dollars. Nice costs included flying all
<v Speaker 2>the reporters and equipment to the island by helicopter. That's
<v Speaker 2>one reason they're not feeling great about the rating, which
<v Speaker 2>I believe did not good because people just didn't want
<v Speaker 2>to sit there and watch rest holds and them bleeding.
<v Speaker 2>I guess that didn't do well. See, that's what people
<v Speaker 2>want now, right. They're clamoring for the blood and the
<v Speaker 2>jungle restholds.
<v Speaker 1>Dude. I mean, if you really think about it, that's
<v Speaker 1>maybe one of the most carny things ever. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know if anyone could do that nowadays, you think anyone
<v Speaker 1>could convince a TV network to spend one hundred and
<v Speaker 1>thirty five thousand dollars to go fil Fight in the Woods. No,
<v Speaker 1>that just happens on fucking Instagram reels.
<v Speaker 2>From The Observer, October twenty sixth, nineteen eighty five. Eddie
<v Speaker 2>Gilbert will be meeting with Vince McMahon this coming week.
<v Speaker 2>They'll be representing himself, Terry Taylor, Missy Hyatt, and Sting.
<v Speaker 2>No secret that Sting is one of the wrestler's WWF
<v Speaker 2>most wants to have under them their employee Sting coming
<v Speaker 2>to WWF in nineteen eighty five would I don't know
<v Speaker 2>how that would have been for Stig. From The Observer,
<v Speaker 2>November second, nineteen eighty five. This one's gonna hurt you, James.
<v Speaker 2>WWF is suing Tom Zank for one hundred thousand dollars
<v Speaker 2>for breach of contract. The Zman, the Zman. He's getting sued.
<v Speaker 2>He left, he left the FED, he's gone, and they're
<v Speaker 2>suing him because of it. One hundred grand.
<v Speaker 1>Huh yeah.
<v Speaker 2>I mean WF could have taken one hundred grand and
<v Speaker 2>did a bad match in a jungle instead, but.
<v Speaker 1>That would have been just a little short sadly.
<v Speaker 2>Last couple things here from The Observer, November ninth, nineteen
<v Speaker 2>eighty five. With business down lately, WWF seems to be
<v Speaker 2>gearing up for some few changes. I know we love
<v Speaker 2>those changes. They're gonna do roughly eight angles for the
<v Speaker 2>top matches on any given live show and two live
<v Speaker 2>shows per night. They're also going to do more old
<v Speaker 2>school promotion angles at live shows to build the rematches
<v Speaker 2>at the next show. They've also apparently acknowledged the work
<v Speaker 2>rate issues and believe some of the blame of the
<v Speaker 2>attendance drops are due to that. They talked to the
<v Speaker 2>wrestlers about this at the last tappings on October twenty six.
<v Speaker 2>We'll see how things shake out the next few weeks.
<v Speaker 2>So you think you think Vince was talking to the
<v Speaker 2>boys about the work great or he sent Jesse Ventora
<v Speaker 2>to do it.
<v Speaker 1>No, I think Vince McMahon walked down cousin Mudpie and
<v Speaker 1>asked him what the fuck are you doing? What are
<v Speaker 1>you doing? House is down?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah?
<v Speaker 4>What do you think you got that?
<v Speaker 2>Like?
<v Speaker 7>You got a guy like that and you're like, what
<v Speaker 7>your work rate sucks?
<v Speaker 2>Like? What are you doing?
<v Speaker 1>Book?
<v Speaker 4>Before?
<v Speaker 2>What do I do? Oh you gotta learna fucking hof dude.
<v Speaker 7>I like how Also, they're like, yeah, it's like we're
<v Speaker 7>just losing money. Let's just run two shows a night,
<v Speaker 7>Like there's a good.
<v Speaker 2>Live shows a night with eight angles.
<v Speaker 1>Oh fuck, that's how to make more money.
<v Speaker 2>Last thing here, most importantly in WWF news, a fan
<v Speaker 2>rushed One Man Gang in Rochester, New York, October twenty seventh.
<v Speaker 2>His name is Joseph Daquisto, and he tried to take
<v Speaker 2>gang down with a double leg. They wound up rolling
<v Speaker 2>around on the match for a moment before fifteen security
<v Speaker 2>guards dragged him away and he was fined fifty dollars
<v Speaker 2>for disturbing the piece. It's the guy who eventually becomes Roadblock,
<v Speaker 2>so he attacked the One Man Gang. Here. The guy
<v Speaker 2>apparently wanted to be a pro wrestler, but WWF turned
<v Speaker 2>him down, and then he debuts two years later as
<v Speaker 2>the Roadblock.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, what, that's the craziest story ever. What the fuck?
<v Speaker 1>That's a six seven roadblood So really, Red Blog is
<v Speaker 1>one of the biggest stars of our generation. He started
<v Speaker 1>by attacking the One Man Gang.
<v Speaker 2>Trying to pick the One Man Gang's as as a fan.
<v Speaker 1>He turned the s into a work he did.
<v Speaker 2>And he and he got signed to like the ninth
<v Speaker 2>and it was one of the.
<v Speaker 1>More legendary characters hit Night.
<v Speaker 4>He's one of the biggest legend stars is business.
<v Speaker 1>Him and z Man were probably doing clinics on Saturday
<v Speaker 1>Night and said, we need that work right back here.
<v Speaker 1>Who is that guy? He's the guy that attacked the
<v Speaker 1>One Man Gang fuck.
<v Speaker 2>And you're like, hey, word to the wise. You do
<v Speaker 2>this and you're getting your ass kicked and that's it. Well,
<v Speaker 2>that's it for observing. Now let's talk about Saturday Night's
<v Speaker 2>Man event for November second, nineteen eighty five.
<v Speaker 1>All right, so we start this s n M e
<v Speaker 1>am with the cold open. Here, Jean and Bobby Heenan
<v Speaker 1>are here dressed up for Halloween.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, oh my god. And it's so spooky, isn't it.
<v Speaker 1>James, I thought it was Thanksgiving.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, you thought it was Easter. You're fucking something's fucked
<v Speaker 2>up in your brain.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, Gene is dressed up as the Pumpkin Rapper
<v Speaker 1>from Power Rangers.
<v Speaker 2>Which would have been way cooler. So yeah, we're backstage
<v Speaker 2>here and Bobby Heenon is dressed I believe it The
<v Speaker 2>joke is that he looks like a weasel, but he's
<v Speaker 2>actually a raccoon.
<v Speaker 1>I thought he was Davy Crockett.
<v Speaker 2>That's also what they kept saying. I didn't understand that
<v Speaker 2>at all.
<v Speaker 1>He's the brain.
<v Speaker 2>Bobby Heenon is bobbing for Pumpkins and me and Jane says, Bobby,
<v Speaker 2>Bobby Heenon, what in the world are you doing? Bobby says,
<v Speaker 2>what am I doing? I'm I'm practicing for the punkin
<v Speaker 2>Dunk contest and Jean says, what what? What are you wearing?
<v Speaker 2>Is that Davy crockettor is in an early weasel skin?
<v Speaker 2>And Bobby says, weasel skin? This happens to be Raccoon,
<v Speaker 2>the finest raccoon. With or without this hat, I'm still
<v Speaker 2>the best. And Gene says, well, you're gonna have to
<v Speaker 2>be at your best. You know, your men, King Kong,
<v Speaker 2>Me and Big John Stutt are gonna have to be
<v Speaker 2>at their best when they meet Hault Cogan and Andre
<v Speaker 2>the Giant in that All Time dream tag team. Bout
<v Speaker 2>and Gena is pitching this tag match and Bobby Heenan
<v Speaker 2>is still bobbing for Pumpkins. Never heard of such a thing.
<v Speaker 1>In a container full of shit. What is this.
<v Speaker 2>Like?
<v Speaker 1>I've never seen this. I've never heard of pumpkin dunkin.
<v Speaker 2>No bobbin for apples, right, that's what I yeah, that's right,
<v Speaker 2>which is usually in a you know, a tank of
<v Speaker 2>just water. This is Bobby bobbin for pumpkins and ship.
<v Speaker 1>It would have been funny if it was just for
<v Speaker 1>heenan and then later on it's just a normal water pumpkins.
<v Speaker 2>Bobby said, it has two pumpkins in his hands here,
<v Speaker 2>and he says, let me explain to you something even
<v Speaker 2>you and your small little mind's gonna understand. Here's Hal Cogan,
<v Speaker 2>he's got one pumpkin. Here's Andre the Giant. They got another,
<v Speaker 2>and he smashes the pumpkins together. And Billy Corgan had
<v Speaker 2>an idea that day. So Hulk Cogan is backstage now
<v Speaker 2>and Hogan says, yeah, you can just forget about that weasel.
<v Speaker 2>Bobby even says, everyone knows that Andre the Giant and
<v Speaker 2>how Bundy and Stud broke the rules and why they
<v Speaker 2>did it. Well, tonight's gonna be a fair fight, dude.
<v Speaker 2>I want to make sure of that. And I can't
<v Speaker 2>just wait to see Andre the giant mop up the
<v Speaker 2>ring with those two, and Andre walks in and he
<v Speaker 2>pats Hogan on the chest and he said, Rob Garthorpe,
<v Speaker 2>I don't know what the fuck he said here. The
<v Speaker 2>caption says, let's get some drinks. I swear that's not
<v Speaker 2>what he says.
<v Speaker 4>No, I don't think so I don't know what he
<v Speaker 4>says though.
<v Speaker 1>See I thought he said, let's go do it, like,
<v Speaker 1>let's go do it. Nothing of this. Let's go do it.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah right, that's what I thought too. But the caption said, all.
<v Speaker 1>Right, this is a crazy fucking match. I couldn't believe
<v Speaker 1>this wasn't the main event. Big John Studdy and King
<v Speaker 1>Kong Bundy versus Andre the Giant Hulk Hogan is nuts.
<v Speaker 2>I mean this is These are some big stars they
<v Speaker 2>have on this show.
<v Speaker 1>Absolutely yeah, I mean this was viewed by a ton
<v Speaker 1>of people.
<v Speaker 2>That's true.
<v Speaker 1>TV was just different in the day nineteen eighty five.
<v Speaker 1>There's four fucking channels. You're watching the local movies, so
<v Speaker 1>you're watching Big John Stunn.
<v Speaker 2>Then Roddy Piper's backstage with Jesse the goddamn body ventory
<v Speaker 2>he's back and Rodny five he's not even dressed up
<v Speaker 2>that's what they say all night. Hey, what the fuck
<v Speaker 2>are you wearing? This is just what I wear, McMahon.
<v Speaker 1>I wore last time we were on in BC.
<v Speaker 2>McMahon, Well, Piper is dressed as super Roddy, which is
<v Speaker 2>of course a shout out to Beatle Juice, and Jesse says, well,
<v Speaker 2>super Roddy, you got Uncle Almer in the Hillbillies really steamed,
<v Speaker 2>and I mean steamed by the way you interrupted their wedding.
<v Speaker 2>What are you gonna do with those guys? These idiots
<v Speaker 2>there's gonna be on your pit tonight and Piper's O
<v Speaker 2>what a better place to make fools on them in
<v Speaker 2>front of national television. So me and Jean's now backstage
<v Speaker 2>with Terry Funk and Jimmy Hart, and Jean says that,
<v Speaker 2>you know, Roddy, Piper's just too much well with me,
<v Speaker 2>the two newcomers of Saturay Night's main event. If I
<v Speaker 2>could interrupt your tobacco chewing, Terry Funk, I like to
<v Speaker 2>talk to you, and of course you're manager Mouth of
<v Speaker 2>the South, Jimmy Hart, then it's gonna be a showcase
<v Speaker 2>match for you with a junkyard Dog. It could lead
<v Speaker 2>to a title shot. And against all Coogan and Terry
<v Speaker 2>funkn Funk says Main Jane. It's just a matter of
<v Speaker 2>time for that heavyweight belt is around my waist, but
<v Speaker 2>that can wait tonight. I'm here to house train the
<v Speaker 2>Junkyard Dog and me and Jean says Jimmy or critics
<v Speaker 2>say there's no place in wrestling for this man's branding
<v Speaker 2>iron and Jimmy says that, man, I don't Dar's on,
<v Speaker 2>but Terry will I think he's gonna somebody wants to say.
<v Speaker 2>And Terry Funk then spits just a whole wat of
<v Speaker 2>tobacco into the camera, which is just fucking completely disgusting.
<v Speaker 2>It looks like the same stuff that Bobby Heenan was
<v Speaker 2>bobbing in earlier.
<v Speaker 1>Oh it does.
<v Speaker 2>Wow, Yeah, you're right, brigit save substance.
<v Speaker 1>I like Terry Funk's run here on Saturday Nights made
<v Speaker 1>of Meat too.
<v Speaker 2>He's like a wild We've watched a few.
<v Speaker 1>Of them by this point, and uh yeah, but I'm
<v Speaker 1>always really happy to see him. So Vince McMahon introduces
<v Speaker 1>us to Hershey pa, mmm, the Candy Capital, and we
<v Speaker 1>see a bunch of people in the crowd who dressed
<v Speaker 1>up for the evening.
<v Speaker 2>I mean the first one they show legit scared the
<v Speaker 2>absolute shit out of me. And it wasn't even meant
<v Speaker 2>to be scary. I don't think Vince is talking about
<v Speaker 2>the tag team match later with Hogan and Andre And then
<v Speaker 2>they cut to a dude in the crowd who has
<v Speaker 2>the biggest hulk Hogan. It's not a mask, right, I mean,
<v Speaker 2>I guess it is a mask. He has a gigantic
<v Speaker 2>hul cogin head on. He's dressed as Hogan, and it
<v Speaker 2>just I mean, it's the scariest fucking thing I've ever
<v Speaker 2>looked at.
<v Speaker 4>It scary.
<v Speaker 1>Where did he get that?
<v Speaker 2>Do you think he made it?
<v Speaker 1>Nineteen eighty five? He's got the big Hogan mask.
<v Speaker 2>Someone should maybe like contact the police. How good he
<v Speaker 2>was able to fucking do that? Like this guy should
<v Speaker 2>be on a list. Shit's crazy. Then, of course we
<v Speaker 2>also are gonna get Tito Santana defending the Interconal title
<v Speaker 2>against the macho man Randy Savage, and we see some
<v Speaker 2>more people in the crowd, a couple of dudes dressed
<v Speaker 2>as big fucking gorillas. Just scary looking dude.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, so I watched this, Uh the beginning part here
<v Speaker 1>on a VHS rip like quality. That's really bad. And
<v Speaker 1>it didn't look like two dudes dressed as gorillas. They
<v Speaker 1>looked like like fucking the Tango Warriors from Power Rangers
<v Speaker 1>like that. I was like, what the fuck is this?
<v Speaker 2>The ten Warriors were scariest ship though. That is what
<v Speaker 2>burns cell like, Dude, that's pretty good. We'll also have
<v Speaker 2>a kung Fo challenge mister Fuji, I wrote, mister Fungi,
<v Speaker 2>Mister Fuji square off against Ricky Steamboats and Vince says,
<v Speaker 2>and then a trigger Treat adventure courtesy of Roddy Piper.
<v Speaker 2>This is due in the crowd as Roddy Piper. And
<v Speaker 2>then we see the cone Heads. Dude, what I mean
<v Speaker 2>that's pretty good. We also see a scary goddamn monkey
<v Speaker 2>alien with flashing eyes who just really likes the w
<v Speaker 2>w F because he has a w w F had
<v Speaker 2>on them. I mean, even when you're evil, you get
<v Speaker 2>the entertained by the w w F. So we're gonna
<v Speaker 2>go backstage now, means Gena saying with Terry Funk, and
<v Speaker 2>we're gonna go Vinn says, let's go back by way
<v Speaker 2>of videotape, which is a dang it, see what happened
<v Speaker 2>with Terry Funk with an innocent ring attendant. So we
<v Speaker 2>go to the mid Hudson Civic Center and Funk is
<v Speaker 2>handing off his you know, his his entrance attire, his
<v Speaker 2>entrance gear to a ringside attendant and he hands it
<v Speaker 2>to him and he looks back at him, and for
<v Speaker 2>some reason, he is enraged. So he grabs him by
<v Speaker 2>the shirt and starts literally beating the absolute shit out
<v Speaker 2>of him. He drags him into the ring, stomps him out.
<v Speaker 2>He's so mad at this guy that he throws the
<v Speaker 2>guy that he was scheduled to face out of the
<v Speaker 2>ring and he goes back to kick in this other
<v Speaker 2>guy's ass and it did. It did. Then we go back.
<v Speaker 2>Me and Jean is with Terry Funk and Jimmy, and
<v Speaker 2>Jean says, gentlemen, I need an answer. How can you
<v Speaker 2>justify such dastardly behavior Jimmy Harton. Jimmy says, well, you
<v Speaker 2>know exactly what that was, baby, That was television tricks.
<v Speaker 2>That was special effects. Try to make me and Terry
<v Speaker 2>looked bad. They got super Ground anymore. That sucks, man.
<v Speaker 2>The WWF is evil. Terry says, television tricks or not.
<v Speaker 2>That's nothing good. Better, well, we're gonna do that piece
<v Speaker 2>of dog meat that Junkyard Dog. Come on, Jimmy got
<v Speaker 2>some Brandon do do? And Jean says, all right, well,
<v Speaker 2>thank you. Speaking of Brandon, let's take a look a
<v Speaker 2>last time Terry Funk met the Junkyard Dog and they
<v Speaker 2>show a from Madison Square Garden in the summer of
<v Speaker 2>nineteen eighty five. I guess Jyd had beat Funk in
<v Speaker 2>this match, and then after the match, Funk beat him
<v Speaker 2>to shit with a branding iron. Just didn't brand lot,
<v Speaker 2>he just he just assaulted him with the physical branding iron,
<v Speaker 2>which is pretty good. Mean, Jean's here with the Junkyard Dog,
<v Speaker 2>and Jean says, Jyd, what happened to MSG? What what
<v Speaker 2>effect will that match have on your about tonight?
<v Speaker 1>Then?
<v Speaker 2>Do you want revenge or do you want to win
<v Speaker 2>this one? In super simple? Jyd says, you know what, Gene,
<v Speaker 2>they say, every dog has his day. That day was
<v Speaker 2>Terry Funk's day, and tonight's mine.
<v Speaker 1>I always like junk Yard Dog's responses to stuff.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, I and this is something I was I wanted
<v Speaker 2>to actually talk about again. Another blind spot for me
<v Speaker 2>is a junkyard dog. But you were telling me, James
<v Speaker 2>that he was super fucking over.
<v Speaker 1>Before this main guy in Mid South. Yeah, yeah, which
<v Speaker 1>I spent I spent a little bit of time watching
<v Speaker 1>Mid South TV. Him and Ted Dibiassi and Michael Hayes
<v Speaker 1>were doing a lot of work down there.
<v Speaker 2>And is he just the same like Sam Cadence. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>was he doing promos there too? I'm assuming he was.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. So the biggest angle I think he was a
<v Speaker 1>part of was the one with Michael Hayes where the
<v Speaker 1>free Birds came in and they blinded him.
<v Speaker 2>Oh okay, I've seen the clip of that.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, right, and then I think in the angle too,
<v Speaker 1>which is crazy, he has like a real life kid
<v Speaker 1>and then says that he didn't get see the birth
<v Speaker 1>of his kid because of Michael Hayes. He gets off
<v Speaker 1>a yeah, ton of tickets off that one.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, no, Jyd, I actually love his promo style. Yeah, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>me too, Trumbo style. He just talks right.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, he always says the right thing to say though.
<v Speaker 2>So we go to the ring, it's Terry Funk with
<v Speaker 2>Jimmy Hart taking on that junk yard.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, so Terry Funk starts off here talking shit to
<v Speaker 1>the crowd, and Jy d pulls them in over the ropes.
<v Speaker 1>Great reaction here.
<v Speaker 2>Dude, I mean huge pop and Jesse Ventura is immediately
<v Speaker 2>just dogging him, no pun intended. Oh look, he starts
<v Speaker 2>with a complete cheap shot. McMahon. I can't believe the
<v Speaker 2>referee let him do that. Now he's going after pour
<v Speaker 2>one hundred and twenty pounds.
<v Speaker 1>Jimmy Hart, Well, I think he's more than one hundred
<v Speaker 1>and twenty pounds.
<v Speaker 2>Hey, fuck you McMahon, would you weigh him? Why don't
<v Speaker 2>you weigh the crack cocaine you got in the back? McMahon,
<v Speaker 2>Why don't.
<v Speaker 1>You weigh yours?
<v Speaker 2>That's enough.
<v Speaker 1>So Terry Funk goes to grab him over the ropes
<v Speaker 1>and ends up getting crist on the top rope and
<v Speaker 1>Jyd does the smack down, verses all rope bounce animation
<v Speaker 1>to him until he runs out of stamina.
<v Speaker 2>Why the fuck was there Funk trying to get out
<v Speaker 2>of the ring.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. Shit was awesome though, So Terry Funk
<v Speaker 1>goes over to Jimmy Hart and he gets his wits
<v Speaker 1>about him and he gets back in the ring and
<v Speaker 1>we start this thing the right.
<v Speaker 2>Way, dude, Jyd, I swear. There's a shot of them
<v Speaker 2>circling and Jyd looks at him and says, come on, motherfucker.
<v Speaker 1>Terry Funk hits a body slam here but misses an
<v Speaker 1>elbow drop. This allows Junkyard Dog to hit a body
<v Speaker 1>slam and then he goes to body slam Terry Funk
<v Speaker 1>out of the ring and Funk rolls around with Jimmy
<v Speaker 1>Hart and he goes to mount him with punches until
<v Speaker 1>he realizes, oh shit, this is Jimmy Hart.
<v Speaker 2>I swore Jyd was gonna milk Scoop slamming him to
<v Speaker 2>the floor and then like Funk would break the eyes
<v Speaker 2>or something. No, Jyd takes some of the ropes and
<v Speaker 2>Scoop slams him to the floor.
<v Speaker 1>What the fuck just dumps him. Yeah it was awesome, dude.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, him rolling around with fucking Jimmy Hart was very funny.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, Funk is unbelievable. I mean it's yeah really again,
<v Speaker 2>I mean, you know, I'm sure people are tired of
<v Speaker 2>hearing me saying it at this point because we've watched
<v Speaker 2>you know, a decent amouthies now, but it's just so
<v Speaker 2>fucking weird to like watch stuff at the pace that
<v Speaker 2>this goes now and how much stuff worked that I know,
<v Speaker 2>like pops me now, like it just doesn't happen now.
<v Speaker 1>So Junkyard Dog throws Funk into the corner and body
<v Speaker 1>slams him again and does the all fours head butts.
<v Speaker 2>Oh shit, he took that from eugen and then he
<v Speaker 2>pisses on them. That was in the game.
<v Speaker 1>That was yeah, the leg Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>It didn't need to include that part, like that wasn't
<v Speaker 2>vital to the move, but I liked that there.
<v Speaker 1>Was Eugene's version that was his theatrics, So yeah, fair enough.
<v Speaker 1>So we get massive Junkyard Dog chance here. Jimmy Hart
<v Speaker 1>tries to get involved. The Junkyard Dog chases after him.
<v Speaker 1>Funk then follows behind him, but Jyd notices, turns around
<v Speaker 1>and back body drops Funk on the floor.
<v Speaker 2>On the floor like Funk is going pill it a
<v Speaker 2>post for this dude.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I love that the story is like any time
<v Speaker 1>that Junkyard Dog has a chance to be up here,
<v Speaker 1>he is one up. Like Terry. Funk has to keep
<v Speaker 1>trying to find ways to like catch this guy off guard,
<v Speaker 1>but he just can't like this guy.
<v Speaker 2>Just always a shitty way. It's not like he's trying
<v Speaker 2>to out wrestle him or anything. He's always trying to
<v Speaker 2>get like a fucking behind the back attack.
<v Speaker 1>Funk actually catches Junkyard Dog with a closed fist punch
<v Speaker 1>here and then unloads a punch combo for a two.
<v Speaker 1>Funk hits the whip sleeper hole piper style. Yes, and
<v Speaker 1>the crowd is just willing Junkyard Dog to stay awake
<v Speaker 1>with chance. Here he goes and grabs the rope, breaks
<v Speaker 1>the hold, and Funk just swings for the fences here.
<v Speaker 1>This allows Junkyard Dog to get his own sleeper hold on.
<v Speaker 2>And I mean again big pop for this roddy Piper
<v Speaker 2>is breaking pencils in the back steal my shed's that's
<v Speaker 2>he's actually on the show too much that I.
<v Speaker 1>Jimmy Hart gets on the apron and Junkyard Dog grabs
<v Speaker 1>him and throws him in. Junkyard Dog then drags him
<v Speaker 1>by his feet, but Terry Funk grabs Jimmy Hart's megaphone
<v Speaker 1>and his Junkyard Dog in the back with it. The
<v Speaker 1>Junkyard Dog and pick up the.
<v Speaker 2>Win son of a bitch dude when Jyd brings Jimmy
<v Speaker 2>Hart in the hard way. Jimmy Hart lands, I mean,
<v Speaker 2>he lands right on his head, like there's no he
<v Speaker 2>doesn't try to flip or he doesn't have the opportunity to.
<v Speaker 2>Jyd pulls him in onto his forehead and it was
<v Speaker 2>gnarly big reaction too, is dope, fantastic reaction. Funk nail
<v Speaker 2>and Jyd with the megaphone. What a fucking piece of shit.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, I want it. I needed Jyd to win,
<v Speaker 2>but he didn't get it done because of these bastards.
<v Speaker 2>And Jimmy Hart gets in the ring and he's got
<v Speaker 2>the branding iron. Oh shit, And that's when I realized
<v Speaker 2>what was about that?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, we saw the parts from this on another episode
<v Speaker 1>we watch.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, uh so funk fucking he's here with the megaphon
<v Speaker 2>or sorry, with the branding iron. He goes to brand
<v Speaker 2>them and Jyd catches it and JD's fighting back and
<v Speaker 2>he hits him with the iron and Funk goes to
<v Speaker 2>the floor and Jyd wy like gets grabs Jimmy Hart.
<v Speaker 2>Funk tries to grab Jimmy's arms to drag him out
<v Speaker 2>of the ring. Well, Jyd has his legs. They tug
<v Speaker 2>a war until Jyd pulls Jimmy Hart's pants off. Red
<v Speaker 2>Bities got him, Jyd headbuds Funk off the apron, and
<v Speaker 2>now the junkyard dog has the iron and he kicks
<v Speaker 2>Jimmy Hart down and he brands his ass. He fucking
<v Speaker 2>brands them.
<v Speaker 1>On the infinitely hot branding iron.
<v Speaker 2>That is. I mean, it's always jeat do and it
<v Speaker 2>always I love this, by the way, I mean, Terry
<v Speaker 2>Funk is never not trying to seem like a maniac.
<v Speaker 2>The way he helps Jimmy Hard out of the ring
<v Speaker 2>is he grabs him by the hair and drags him
<v Speaker 2>to the floor.
<v Speaker 1>From like the second he makes his entrance is always
<v Speaker 1>one on the cell's the entire time.
<v Speaker 2>He's a psychopath.
<v Speaker 1>Man. Yeah, he's nuts, Jimmy Hard out there with his
<v Speaker 1>little panties.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. So Jimmy Hard stands up and there's white stains
<v Speaker 2>all over his underwear.
<v Speaker 1>You never took coke up your ass, that's where he's
<v Speaker 1>you know, McMahon, there's your coke. McMahon, No, I think
<v Speaker 1>that's yours. Okay, fair enough.
<v Speaker 2>So Vince says, well, it's time for the first round
<v Speaker 2>of our Halloween party. Competition will be three rounds. The
<v Speaker 2>pumpkin Duncan chocolate syrup, the chocolate pie eating contest, and
<v Speaker 2>the pumpkin fess.
<v Speaker 1>Is that what it was? It was chocolate syrup.
<v Speaker 2>It was chocolate syrup.
<v Speaker 1>How legit?
<v Speaker 4>No, yeah, it's chucolates, sup.
<v Speaker 1>I legit. For some reason thought it was some sort
<v Speaker 1>of like yeah, I don't know shit.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah you think. I mean, it is funny that you
<v Speaker 2>say it, But like you would think they would make
<v Speaker 2>it something that makes it harder, right, not like something delicious.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I'd be in there telling he.
<v Speaker 2>Fuck the pumpkins. I'm just getting mouthfuls at Chocolate's hero.
<v Speaker 1>So now it's time for the gigantic pie eating contest.
<v Speaker 2>Pie Dude, I.
<v Speaker 1>Wrote that exact Dowb. I wrote your first bullet point
<v Speaker 1>the rock Voice PI. We come to our room here
<v Speaker 1>A lot of wrestlers are dressed up in their Halloween costumes.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, we're in the party room they call it, by
<v Speaker 2>the way, that's officially the name of what we're in here,
<v Speaker 2>and mean jeans here, and he's dressed as a pumpkin,
<v Speaker 2>and he says, here we are celeburt Halloween. I'll be
<v Speaker 2>it a few days late, getting ready for a gigantic
<v Speaker 2>pie eating contest. Hogan is here, and all the boys here.
<v Speaker 2>Gene actually runs down the list. He says, I like
<v Speaker 2>to make some introductions to my left Joe Man, Elizabeth
<v Speaker 2>or Tarzan and Jane, Nikolai Volkoff is Robin, Bobby the
<v Speaker 2>Weasel Heenan Sorry, I mean Davey King Kong. Bundy is
<v Speaker 2>shoot able with a big hat, the big fucking hat
<v Speaker 2>and the beard. Iron Chic, I recognize you as Batman
<v Speaker 2>of all people. I don't know why he said it
<v Speaker 2>like that. I thought you'd be a piece of shit,
<v Speaker 2>Iron Chic, not wearing your Satan outfit this evening as Zoro.
<v Speaker 2>Here is intercl Champion Tito Santana, Hercules hal Cogan, and
<v Speaker 2>Captain Lou is perhaps one of your Roman forebearers. Captain
<v Speaker 2>Lou said, yeah, yeah, Julius Caesar from my grand antsis.
<v Speaker 2>There's all right, right, I mean Captain Lou. I we've
<v Speaker 2>watched a decent amount of Captain Lou. Thus far no
<v Speaker 2>idea what this guy's supposed to be. Not a fucking clue.
<v Speaker 1>He's the captain Captain of what.
<v Speaker 4>I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>That settles it. Jean says, all right, now, gentlemen's down
<v Speaker 2>to King Kong Bunny and Captain Lou Albano. Are we
<v Speaker 2>to believe that there's already been pie eating taking place
<v Speaker 2>and this is the finals of it? Or is it
<v Speaker 2>just these two? Are the dudes?
<v Speaker 1>Just two badass motherfuckers?
<v Speaker 2>You know they found the two hungriest men possible.
<v Speaker 1>Abraham Lincoln and Julius Caesar.
<v Speaker 2>Well, me and Jean has to stop watching. Whoever eats
<v Speaker 2>the most pies within ninety seconds will win the pieing contest.
<v Speaker 2>And Bundy's taking it serious so much so that he
<v Speaker 2>takes the.
<v Speaker 1>Hat off, brought the pies in here.
<v Speaker 2>It can only be one man. So Bundy takes the
<v Speaker 2>hat off, and I mean it's top hat off. It's
<v Speaker 2>because it's serious. You can't like consume peace all the time.
<v Speaker 2>I know, I know, it's wow. Well, you know he
<v Speaker 2>had a store more roommate to get more hair removed
<v Speaker 2>so he can sort more pies.
<v Speaker 1>I love King Kong Bundy. This guy is nuts.
<v Speaker 2>It can only be a wrestler.
<v Speaker 1>Like we get to see a performance later from him
<v Speaker 1>tonight that I gotta say, Man, oh my god, super
<v Speaker 1>impressed King Kong Bundy.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I didn't know that was I don't know he
<v Speaker 2>had that side of them in him, is what I
<v Speaker 2>was looking at there. So they the contest begins, and
<v Speaker 2>I mean, they're going to town on these pies.
<v Speaker 1>And I don't know how the pies.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know how much is even getting into their mouths,
<v Speaker 2>but they are grabbing handfuls of pie and rubbing it
<v Speaker 2>all over the vicinity of their mouth, just scooping.
<v Speaker 7>It in with a big shovel on their fists.
<v Speaker 2>This is so gross. They are just shoveling this ship
<v Speaker 2>in their mouths all over the place. Jeans count down.
<v Speaker 2>We get down to the countdown for ten. We get
<v Speaker 2>back and forth shots of just their gross, gross mouths.
<v Speaker 2>The winner, Captain Lou Albano. He out ate King Kong
<v Speaker 2>Bunny in Lou a real eater, James.
<v Speaker 1>One of the best. How am I in it? I
<v Speaker 1>think they're talking about in it, big man.
<v Speaker 2>So Bundy is pissed. Bundy's pissed, and he stands up
<v Speaker 2>and he's fucking fuming. Albato's the winner. Nobody beats me
<v Speaker 2>in nothing, And he grabs a pie and smashes it
<v Speaker 2>in Loo's face, which really doesn't do much because he
<v Speaker 2>has pie all over his face.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, you're the.
<v Speaker 1>Probably looked crazy on a CRT TV.
<v Speaker 2>Holy shit, I mean you started watching it originally close
<v Speaker 2>to that qualities.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, but I had that ship extended up. I mean
<v Speaker 1>you're watching this on a nine inch kitchen TV. Like,
<v Speaker 1>what the fuck am I looking?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah? Tuning in halfway through to see this. You turn
<v Speaker 2>on w F halfway after the news and you see this.
<v Speaker 7>No, me and my kids in eighty five are laughing
<v Speaker 7>our asses. Oh this is pie and he just hit
<v Speaker 7>him with another pie? This is is that Abraham Lincoln?
<v Speaker 2>He's bald.
<v Speaker 1>Wait, that's the captain.
<v Speaker 2>Of what the president of the w w F A
<v Speaker 2>right understandable. So Jean says, captain, what are you thinking?
<v Speaker 2>Little Bono says getting out of that piece of pie?
<v Speaker 2>Jean and then the heels and faces are now arguing
<v Speaker 2>because that's what the split is. By the way, I
<v Speaker 2>didn't mention the split is. You know, babies and heels
<v Speaker 2>here for the Halloween competition.
<v Speaker 1>Well, now it's time for Piper's pit. We have Uncle
<v Speaker 1>elmer cousin or whatever you want. Yeah, and he'll Billy Jim. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>is this dude's name not cousin Luke.
<v Speaker 2>It's Junior.
<v Speaker 1>Well, the episode we watched before was after this episode,
<v Speaker 1>so maybe they changed it to Luke by that point. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>I thought his name was cousin Mudpie. I'm still convinced because.
<v Speaker 2>I looked it up. I think Cousin Junior and cousin
<v Speaker 2>Luke are too different people. Cousin, I think so. And
<v Speaker 2>they brought in cousin Luke.
<v Speaker 1>Cousin Luke Junior.
<v Speaker 2>No, dude, Like, there's a fucking conspiracy here that nobody
<v Speaker 2>seems to be questioning for some reason. They have Vince
<v Speaker 2>and Jesse talked for a second, and Hillblly's are in
<v Speaker 2>the ring. Yet they're all sitting down with their feet out,
<v Speaker 2>playing with their toes, and Vince says, you know, they're
<v Speaker 2>here to confront Piper after his behavior where he interrupted
<v Speaker 2>the wedding at the last stron night's main event, and uh,
<v Speaker 2>you know, as well as what Jesse said, and let's
<v Speaker 2>take a look. And then they show it and the
<v Speaker 2>line that they were mad about is Jesse on commentary
<v Speaker 2>when Uncle Elmer was kissing his wife, he said, it
<v Speaker 2>looks like two carp in the Mississippi river going after
<v Speaker 2>the same piece of corn.
<v Speaker 1>I remember that line.
<v Speaker 2>It was over the top, That's what did it. You
<v Speaker 2>can't fucking say that about the Hillbillies and their wife.
<v Speaker 2>So piper'spit, which.
<v Speaker 1>By the way, yes, I'd be talking about my fucking wife.
<v Speaker 1>Hey fuck you, hey, fuck you.
<v Speaker 2>So Piper's here, Bob Barton's here, and the Hillbillies are here,
<v Speaker 2>and Piper says, wow, well, howdy their neighbor. How you
<v Speaker 2>doing there, Uncle Elmer? How's a how are you missus? Elmer?
<v Speaker 2>And he looks at cousin junior and they're not happy
<v Speaker 2>about that. It's all I was sorry. Everything's folloween with you, folks.
<v Speaker 2>I'm having a good time sitting there, and you just
<v Speaker 2>got to marry tell me something that everyone in America
<v Speaker 2>has been dying to know. What went on at the
<v Speaker 2>wedding night? And Uncle Elmer and the best way he
<v Speaker 2>can say it, I'm not I can't do an Uncle
<v Speaker 2>Elmer sadly, but he says, none of your business. And
<v Speaker 2>Piper says, oh, come on, you were in there, lovely wife.
<v Speaker 2>I mean I thought about planning your family at all.
<v Speaker 2>And Elmer says that's none of your business too, and
<v Speaker 2>Piper stops and he thinks for a second. He says, oh,
<v Speaker 2>those are real good answers. You know, I watched the wedding.
<v Speaker 2>I watched the wedding him and his bride, and he
<v Speaker 2>took the veil off, and there was all Uncle Elmer there.
<v Speaker 2>And Elmer stands up and he says, hey, you shut
<v Speaker 2>your mouth, and he'll belly. Jim stands up, and the
<v Speaker 2>Hillbillies are fucking getting hot.
<v Speaker 1>That's where shit changes. He'll stands up, and ship change
<v Speaker 1>in this building.
<v Speaker 2>So hilly Jim stands. Somebody points the Piper and he says,
<v Speaker 2>let me ask you something, and and Piper's old, I
<v Speaker 2>didn't I didn't say that out of that. And Jim says,
<v Speaker 2>why do you have to say to the things you
<v Speaker 2>said about Uncle Elmer and his wedding. They're standing up
<v Speaker 2>for family here, man, This is like serious ship. I
<v Speaker 2>said that ship. And Jesse Vature is immediately sweating, and
<v Speaker 2>Uncle Elmer is standing up now too, and Jim says, well,
<v Speaker 2>who said it then? And Piper said, oh, well, Jesse Ventora, Jesse, you.
<v Speaker 1>Dived your boy out.
<v Speaker 2>Good the fuck, big.
<v Speaker 1>Man, What the hell is this?
<v Speaker 2>You got a lot of snitches around here. McMahon, you
<v Speaker 2>better watch your back.
<v Speaker 1>One's about to be in a tag match here in
<v Speaker 1>a minute.
<v Speaker 2>Fucking and Piper said, why I didn't say it, but
<v Speaker 2>I do agree with the man, and fucking hiblliy Jim says, well,
<v Speaker 2>let me tell you one thing. If Jesse Ventura is
<v Speaker 2>such a man, why doesn't he come down and say
<v Speaker 2>it to Uncle Elmer face to face. Jesse's hot. They
<v Speaker 2>show a shot at commentary, which is in a crazy spot.
<v Speaker 2>It's an small elevated platform.
<v Speaker 1>I think, yeah, that's right.
<v Speaker 2>It's not a lot of you know, it can only
<v Speaker 2>it can't even be bigger than a size of a
<v Speaker 2>picnic table, like, it's very small. And Jesse takes his
<v Speaker 2>headset off. He's pissed. He takes his jacket off, the heads
<v Speaker 2>of the ring. He gets in the ring, and Unclehimer says,
<v Speaker 2>I want to say something, Jesse Vitoria, coming down here
<v Speaker 2>and tell me what you said about my wife and
<v Speaker 2>myself in the ring. I mean, uncle human my wife.
<v Speaker 2>And Jesse says, wait a minute, you're telling me I'm
<v Speaker 2>afraid to come out here and say something face to face.
<v Speaker 2>I called it just the way I've seen it. I
<v Speaker 2>talked just the way I saw it, and I ain't
<v Speaker 2>backing down on nothing. And Piper says, wow, oh you
<v Speaker 2>guys looking at you. We can't have talked. You guys
<v Speaker 2>are looking for a fight, and Hillbilly Jim says, maybe
<v Speaker 2>we do, mister Piper. Now bob Orton is behind them.
<v Speaker 2>He gets on his hands and knees. I mean this
<v Speaker 2>is classic classic bullying. Can't be here, yes, this is
<v Speaker 2>I mean, like, there's nothing meaner than doing this. I think,
<v Speaker 2>can't beat on this hands and he's behind Uh, I
<v Speaker 2>believe Cousin Junior, Cousin Junior, Luke Pie. Yes, Piper says,
<v Speaker 2>we don't want to do that. He calls you guys
<v Speaker 2>any trouble. We know how intelligent you guys are, and
<v Speaker 2>oh yo too, and he shoves Cousin Junior and he
<v Speaker 2>falls over bob Orton and everyone's laughing at him. Fucking
<v Speaker 2>Hillbilly Jim turns around and decks bob Orton, sends him
<v Speaker 2>to the floor. Piper ducks a punch and powders and
<v Speaker 2>Jesse Ventura is left with the Hillbillies and Hillbilly Jim
<v Speaker 2>and Uncle Elmer. They back him down, but Jesse just
<v Speaker 2>barely able to get out of the ring, and they
<v Speaker 2>have Jesse Vandura's hat and Elmer throws it down. I
<v Speaker 2>thought what they were gonna do was commenced to jiggle
<v Speaker 2>in on the hat, get the fucking music, and they
<v Speaker 2>all take turns stomping around the train. That would have
<v Speaker 2>been fantastic, but they stomp it out. Uh, and he'll belle.
<v Speaker 2>Jim goes over and this is where I realize it's
<v Speaker 2>not cousin Luke, because he tobally. Jim goes over to
<v Speaker 2>him and says, you are right, Junior Junior, And I
<v Speaker 2>was like, oh, okay, is that maybe just a nickname?
<v Speaker 2>And then Elmer says Junior, and I said, okay, is
<v Speaker 2>this a whole different fucking guy. And that's when I
<v Speaker 2>looked it up, so I guess it is. And Elmer
<v Speaker 2>tells him to stomp the hat and he does.
<v Speaker 1>Well, Cousin is his first name?
<v Speaker 2>Oh right, They just all have different last names, but
<v Speaker 2>the related.
<v Speaker 1>So as Beesvale Billy.
<v Speaker 2>I you know what, I'm learning more and more every show.
<v Speaker 1>Well, now it's time for the Great Pumpkin Dunk.
<v Speaker 2>So Jean's back here and he says thank you, vincement
<v Speaker 2>man two hundred gallons of chocolate syrup in this tank.
<v Speaker 2>I said, why I.
<v Speaker 1>Missed him saying that every single time they said it tonight,
<v Speaker 1>just missed the entire thing.
<v Speaker 2>There, You just heard what you wanted to hear, exactly,
<v Speaker 2>classic two hundred gallons for what, like what.
<v Speaker 1>The Great Pumpkin Dunk.
<v Speaker 2>There's some hungry guys on this show. I can't go on.
<v Speaker 2>Bundy could use a little snacky here. So the Great
<v Speaker 2>Pumpkin Dunk is here. It's gonna be cousin. Junior said
<v Speaker 2>the name and Captain Bobby Heenan, not captain of the WWF,
<v Speaker 2>just captain of the team. And you're gonna have to
<v Speaker 2>take that hat off Heenan. And Heenan say, I'm gonna
<v Speaker 2>get rid of this wheel raccoon. I'm gonna get ready.
<v Speaker 2>Jane looks over and he says, oh, look at this
<v Speaker 2>Junkyard dog dresses a mummy of all things. Now, why
<v Speaker 2>why do you keep saying this like this iron sheet
<v Speaker 2>can't be Batman, Junkyard dog can't be a mummy. You're
<v Speaker 2>a fucking pumpkin mean, Gene, you better chilly, that's the yet,
<v Speaker 2>that's I mean I'm so sad that the Yete never
<v Speaker 2>had an actual match, Like he just turns into a
<v Speaker 2>super giant Ninja, which.
<v Speaker 1>Also based but you know, well as the Yete. He
<v Speaker 1>transformed still the Yeta and then changes his name and
<v Speaker 1>he worked legally. Yeah, so technically he was the Yete.
<v Speaker 2>For one more that's that is true. He legally changes
<v Speaker 2>his name Javo to Kirwin style super so JYC says,
<v Speaker 2>I swear to god, I swear, Jyd says this, but
<v Speaker 2>I'm assuming it wasn't. I heard Jwyd say, shit, I'm
<v Speaker 2>easing in, baby, I'm coming to watch my main man Jr.
<v Speaker 2>Dip his face right in this thing and eat these
<v Speaker 2>punkins real fast. Swear he said.
<v Speaker 1>Shit.
<v Speaker 2>Definitely didn't. But it was funnier that I thought. He
<v Speaker 2>Jean said, speaking of a hundred of junior he's arriving. Now,
<v Speaker 2>let me expin of the rules. Macho man, Randy Savage,
<v Speaker 2>you will be holding the bag eat the food bag. Right,
<v Speaker 2>He is right.
<v Speaker 7>I replayed that like four times because I had no
<v Speaker 7>idea what you're saying.
<v Speaker 1>Food dude. I think so, but he like was whispery.
<v Speaker 4>It was like the weirdest mode.
<v Speaker 7>It's like you're saying, on your bi give me.
<v Speaker 1>That food bag, right, dude. That's how he talks all
<v Speaker 1>the time.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's either super loud or super quiet. There's no
<v Speaker 2>in between. Actually, and Jean says, all right, you got
<v Speaker 2>six seconds o' clock. Here we go, ladies and gentlemen,
<v Speaker 2>and Macho Man's is baby and Macho Man is crazy
<v Speaker 2>during this. So they start, and what you gotta do
<v Speaker 2>is you have to bob for a pumpkin and then
<v Speaker 2>throw it into this bag with your mouth. And Macho
<v Speaker 2>Man every time that Heenan gets one of the bag,
<v Speaker 2>yells the number one. Oh, he's got three, three, and
<v Speaker 2>Gene at one point tries to talk to Elizabeth. He
<v Speaker 2>looks he says, Elizabeth, how many And he looks at
<v Speaker 2>Macho Man. He says, all right, never mind. Uh, their
<v Speaker 2>fucking faces are covered in chocolate. Jean starts to countdown
<v Speaker 2>from seven and it's over and Macho Man's is seven
<v Speaker 2>pumpkin dunks.
<v Speaker 1>I love and cheating. That was so fucking funny, I know, yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Just throwing them in at one point, right.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, just using his hand. They're like, hey, he's
<v Speaker 1>using his hands. Whatever, Just get this over with.
<v Speaker 2>He's looking at Elizabeth. Sorry busy, and Jeane says he
<v Speaker 2>then title all up, We're gonna go on the rubber match,
<v Speaker 2>but let's get more exciting action that big dream tag
<v Speaker 2>team match. Andre the Giana hul Cogan are just moments away.
<v Speaker 2>The main event is now like long match, and I'm like, wow, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>there's like forty minutes left on the show, Like what
<v Speaker 2>how could this be? But then I realized, oh, this
<v Speaker 2>is not the main event at all, not even close.
<v Speaker 1>Macho Man hugs Bobby Heenan at the end and gets
<v Speaker 1>pumpkin juice all over him and then he flexes at
<v Speaker 1>the camera.
<v Speaker 2>Macho Man, Is I mean again? We talked about it
<v Speaker 2>last time. These guys are unbelievable characters.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, absolutely, they had to be.
<v Speaker 2>That's what you right, that's what you said, Like what else? Like,
<v Speaker 2>they had no choice but to try to be the
<v Speaker 2>best in their field otherwise they're out of here.
<v Speaker 1>So now it's time for Hulk Hogan and Andre the
<v Speaker 1>Giant versus Big John stud and King Kong Bundy. So
<v Speaker 1>we have a pre match deal here before we get
<v Speaker 1>into the tag match. Me and Gene is here with
<v Speaker 1>Big John Studd King Kong, Bundy and Bobby Heenan.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, you get these uh pretty much before every match.
<v Speaker 2>I actually like this, and I mean I think we
<v Speaker 2>talked about last starta NIGHTT main event. I mean mean,
<v Speaker 2>Gene is a such an an anchor. I guess you
<v Speaker 2>could say of the show where he is a part
<v Speaker 2>of every seg to move shit along and too he's
<v Speaker 2>fantastic and uh yeah, so mean Jean's here with the
<v Speaker 2>uh Heenan Studd and Bundy, as she said, and Bundy
<v Speaker 2>is standing there doing Mike Tinay lips as Jean asks
<v Speaker 2>Heenan about winning the pumpkin dunk, and Keenan says, was
<v Speaker 2>thereunning down your mind? I'd win anything I put my
<v Speaker 2>mind to, I accomplish. And you're going to see these
<v Speaker 2>two men defeat Hogan and the Big Andre the Giant.
<v Speaker 1>You damn right, I did.
<v Speaker 2>The fucking pumpkin screw job. And Jean says, all right, Bundy,
<v Speaker 2>enough of the party talk. Let's talk about the Dream Team.
<v Speaker 2>And Bundy said, that's right, the dream Team, the unbeatable team,
<v Speaker 2>the unslammable team, eight hundred and twenty three pounds right here.
<v Speaker 2>I don't think Bundy realizes that Heenan was talking about
<v Speaker 2>getting Andre.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, don't worry about that or the dream team. We're
<v Speaker 1>taking it.
<v Speaker 2>And Jean says, John Studd, Andre and Hogan are no
<v Speaker 2>strangers to you, and So says everyone thinks the number
<v Speaker 2>one team wrestling is Hogan and Andre. Wan a few
<v Speaker 2>short mints, Stud, Bunny, Bundy and Bobby Heenon, A're gonna
<v Speaker 2>show the world he is the best fucked up Bundy's name,
<v Speaker 2>and Jean says, thank you very much, congratulations got Boby Heenon,
<v Speaker 2>where's your beaver hat? He it says, not a beaver,
<v Speaker 2>it's a weasel, it's a raccoon hat. Jean says, sorry,
<v Speaker 2>and then Heatn leads Bundy and Stud right from there
<v Speaker 2>to the ring. And now we got mean Jean with
<v Speaker 2>Captain Lou Albano Captain Lewis Albano that Vince kept calling
<v Speaker 2>him all Cogan and Andre the Giant, and Jean says,
<v Speaker 2>was uh does winning that he's talking to Lou? Does
<v Speaker 2>winning the pie in competition help or hinder your wrestlers tonight?
<v Speaker 2>I don't know how the fuck with this effect of
<v Speaker 2>at all, but I'll take it. Well. Loui Bano just
<v Speaker 2>burbs into the mic and says, all right, there, damning
<v Speaker 2>baby in all aug says, you know, I mean, Gene,
<v Speaker 2>that's enough of the nonsense. Brother, This out here, this
<v Speaker 2>is the real thing. My partner here, Andre the Giant.
<v Speaker 2>He's the eighth of the ninth and the tenth wonder
<v Speaker 2>of the world. Dude, There's no way Bundy or Studd
<v Speaker 2>could ever have beaten this guy fairly. And Andre once
<v Speaker 2>again puts his hand on Hogan's chest. All got.
<v Speaker 1>You talk too, But I love Hogan's respons here. All right, boss,
<v Speaker 1>He slaps him on the chest.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean, cool team here, actually, like they have
<v Speaker 2>a cool camaraderie. I guess they do.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, they absolutely do.
<v Speaker 2>And again, huge fucking match.
<v Speaker 1>Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant versus Big John Studdy
<v Speaker 1>and King Kong Bundy. Seeing all of these guys in
<v Speaker 1>the ring together is so insanely fucked up. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>King Kong Bundy looks fucking insane. Man. I love this
<v Speaker 1>guy is crazy.
<v Speaker 2>He is like he is legit. And I don't mean
<v Speaker 2>this in a fucking mean way. I mean this man
<v Speaker 2>is shaped like a bowling ball.
<v Speaker 1>Like shit is awesome.
<v Speaker 2>Wide, Yeah, it's unreal. How big he is.
<v Speaker 1>He is begging to be the Kingpin.
<v Speaker 2>Oh my god, he's how was he not?
<v Speaker 1>King Kong? Bundy had no hair anywhere.
<v Speaker 2>No super clean like a baby.
<v Speaker 1>Dude, like super bald all over the place. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>his entire body is just completely shaven. So Hogan and
<v Speaker 1>Bundy start things off with a fight for the middle.
<v Speaker 1>Hogan hits a jumping knee strike and takes Bundy down.
<v Speaker 2>Oh my god, the jumping knee strike was awesome, by
<v Speaker 2>the way. It was funny when the match started, by
<v Speaker 2>the way. So Andre is rubbing his hands together and
<v Speaker 2>he pat's Hogan on the back and I can only
<v Speaker 2>imagine I thought he was saying order or hate tonight.
<v Speaker 2>No problem, dude, But anyway, brother.
<v Speaker 1>So Hogan goes to body slam King Kong Bundy over
<v Speaker 1>the top rope, but Bundy gets down. Hogan punches down Bundy,
<v Speaker 1>and Bundy is really fucking moving, man like super impressive
<v Speaker 1>stuff here. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Andre gets tagged in and fucking grabs Bundy's singlet and
<v Speaker 1>chokes with it and shakes him. I mean, Bundy is
<v Speaker 1>four hundred and fifty pounds. He's just shaking this dude.
<v Speaker 2>He's got both straps wrapped around his neck. By the way,
<v Speaker 2>the pop for when Andre gets in is nuts, like
<v Speaker 2>he is a star.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, super attraction.
<v Speaker 2>He probably sold this whole place out himself. They could
<v Speaker 2>have just announced him. Yeah, super attractions are great. Way
<v Speaker 2>to put it. Fucking jesse Ven Towards on commentary flipping
<v Speaker 2>out this in commentated referee McMahon. He's doing absolutely nothing
<v Speaker 2>about this. How is he choking him? I mean he
<v Speaker 2>is blatantly choking The ref is doing nothing about it.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not gonna stop Andre. The giant fuck that.
<v Speaker 2>Gutr pulkar waif for a movie.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, what do you even do if this guy decides
<v Speaker 1>to go a wall? Give it here? So Hulkvin comes
<v Speaker 1>back in, he hits a double axe. From the second
<v Speaker 1>Andre comes back in, he starts chopping down the tree.
<v Speaker 1>That is big, John Studd.
<v Speaker 2>I mean he's and he's taking him down. He is
<v Speaker 2>I mean again, like you said, Stud is huge. By
<v Speaker 2>the way, I mean Stud and Bundy are both I
<v Speaker 2>mean what a team. I don't know. They don't imagine
<v Speaker 2>gear or anything. They are legit like partners of circumstance.
<v Speaker 1>So Andre reaches back and he accidentally strikes the ref
<v Speaker 1>and the ref takes a bump, and now all four
<v Speaker 1>men are in the ring and they're going at it.
<v Speaker 1>Another ref comes down, and that is the way we
<v Speaker 1>go to commercial.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that ref comes out. He checks on the dead ref.
<v Speaker 2>Hogan sends Bundy to the floor. We reassess, and Vince says,
<v Speaker 2>while we wait for a replacement repheree, let's take a breather,
<v Speaker 2>and we're back and Stud's in there with Andre and
<v Speaker 2>Andre's got him in a bear hug.
<v Speaker 1>They were way more creative with the commercial breaks back then.
<v Speaker 1>I feel we've seen a couple of these where they'll
<v Speaker 1>do something with the ref or something along those lines
<v Speaker 1>as we go into commercial break. You know, for a
<v Speaker 1>long time they just grabbed a chinlock. Did the heat
<v Speaker 1>and commercial you know, sure.
<v Speaker 2>Or double down or something like that. Right, Yeah, someone
<v Speaker 2>gets thrown on the floor. Oh, roll rolls on.
<v Speaker 1>After this, Big John Studd and King Kong Bundy powder.
<v Speaker 1>We go to commercial. We come back, Andre bear hug, Stud,
<v Speaker 1>Hogan comes in. He hits the axe bomber. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>we're hot. Andre comes back and he hits a bit boot.
<v Speaker 1>Bundy glombs Andre from behind. Hogan cuts him off. Big
<v Speaker 1>John stud has Andrei andre in the ropes.
<v Speaker 2>Dude, not only andre Andre, which is exactly how I
<v Speaker 2>wrote it to by the way, jameson the Andre Andre,
<v Speaker 2>but he Andre Andrei outside.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, facing the outside.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, he's like sitting on the apron with his arms
<v Speaker 2>stuck in the ropes and he's doing the shameless clubs
<v Speaker 2>to the chest, beating the shit out of them and
<v Speaker 2>fucking in the ring. They trip Hogan and Bundy big splashes, Hogan,
<v Speaker 2>they're killing these dudes.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, dude, seeing andre get andre in the ropes is awesome. Man, Like,
<v Speaker 1>I'm so I was so happy when that happened. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>that's such a cool spot. By the way, the big
<v Speaker 1>splash that Bundy uses, Yes, I for some reason, I remember,
<v Speaker 1>I'm not sure when they did this, but there was
<v Speaker 1>an angle they ran where Bundy was injuring dudes with
<v Speaker 1>a splash like it was a big move.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, no, it's I mean it's his kill move, right,
<v Speaker 2>and I mean how he does it is crazy. It's legit.
<v Speaker 2>He jumps into the air and then somehow puts himself
<v Speaker 2>in all fours in the air and lands on you.
<v Speaker 1>Could you imagine King Kong Bundy doing the Crowbar version
<v Speaker 1>where he does the splash to the floor that shit
<v Speaker 1>would have killed somebody. Yeah, you can make an angle
<v Speaker 1>for a year out of that.
<v Speaker 2>I'm imagining it now and I'm enjoying it.
<v Speaker 1>So Big John Studd, like you said, was just beating
<v Speaker 1>away Andre's chest his surgically repaired crack sternam and the match.
<v Speaker 2>Is called yeah Q. The ref the Bundy and Stud
<v Speaker 2>were doing too much, and Hogan gets up and the
<v Speaker 2>crowd comes alive because they know Hogan's about to save
<v Speaker 2>the day.
<v Speaker 1>He comes in, He big boots Bundy, Andre holds Stud
<v Speaker 1>and Hogan hits an axe bomber and Stud powders out
<v Speaker 1>and then Mean Jing comes in. He says, Andre, what
<v Speaker 1>the fuck just happened?
<v Speaker 2>Or murder? They do have faink announce it was a DQ,
<v Speaker 2>and Hogan and Andre do win this, by the way,
<v Speaker 2>and I mean Hogan and Andre are visibly not happy.
<v Speaker 2>They wanted to get the one two three, which Hogan pantomimes,
<v Speaker 2>which he's the king of pantomime.
<v Speaker 1>I feel like I always see him doing that. He's
<v Speaker 1>always doing the.
<v Speaker 4>Yes yeh yeah, yeah.
<v Speaker 1>He is always the fucking clap guy.
<v Speaker 2>Because I think I don't know if he said it.
<v Speaker 2>I've seen an interviewer or somebody that he uh like
<v Speaker 2>he would do this with the I like he would
<v Speaker 2>panamime so much like with the idea that like, no
<v Speaker 2>matter if they were in the front row or if
<v Speaker 2>they were in the very back row in the fucking nosebleeds,
<v Speaker 2>like they could figure out what's being said.
<v Speaker 4>Oh yeah, I think I heard that before you.
<v Speaker 1>That's everybody in this era. Yeah, they were taught to
<v Speaker 1>make sure that everyone in the entire arena can make
<v Speaker 1>out what you're doing.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, which changes at some point to make sure the
<v Speaker 2>camera sees everything you do. And that's it.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, once it turned into a TV product instead of
<v Speaker 1>a Tory brand. Yeah, Ship changed.
<v Speaker 2>So Jeane says, oh victorious front This guy said, crowd Andre,
<v Speaker 2>tell us about it and guard up Crumar or comma
<v Speaker 2>here are entrepreneurship to Gasha are entrepreneurship? I said, oh Ship, Andrea's.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, that's what I said. Hell yeah fu Yeah, dude, we.
<v Speaker 2>Prove one point. They can't beat Andre the Giant fairly,
<v Speaker 2>it takes two of them. They'll never beat Andre the Giant.
<v Speaker 2>Never A Birch Qar Warner Bird trap under Order, World Trapprion,
<v Speaker 2>oh ship all right, cool, that's a little threat.
<v Speaker 1>I felt a little that was a little nefarious, but
<v Speaker 1>all right, something I'm not gonna or something. Dude, hope not.
<v Speaker 2>You can be the champion when I go to w
<v Speaker 2>c W. Dude crawl.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, man, just uh two bros being bros. You know,
<v Speaker 1>until Andre gets weaseled by the weasel.
<v Speaker 2>That's fucking bullshit. He pulls off Hogan's chain.
<v Speaker 1>No give me that fucking ship man. Andre says, yes, sir.
<v Speaker 2>We did watch that. That's fucking awesome.
<v Speaker 1>Something else but yeah, fuck yeah that was me and hell.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, Andre says current Goong Barner or everywhere ny time
<v Speaker 2>in the world. I challenge you everywhere, anytime in the world.
<v Speaker 2>Real ship, Andre, That's what Gene says.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, so you know it's on site plus so we
<v Speaker 1>have Macho Man and Tito Santana coming up, but first
<v Speaker 1>we have the pre match Shenanigans here, me and Gene
<v Speaker 1>is here with the Macho Man and Elizabeth and.
<v Speaker 2>Gean says, were moments away from the intercoll belt with
<v Speaker 2>Tito Santana and Macho Man, Randy, I gotta ask you
<v Speaker 2>why a woman manager kind of men that it is
<v Speaker 2>a question like that is either a blind man, We're
<v Speaker 2>stupid man? What kind of man are you? Gene Oakland?
<v Speaker 2>All right, Elizabeth, Elizabeth, I understand why the Matra man
<v Speaker 2>picked you, but why would you pick wrestling? I mean,
<v Speaker 2>she says, well, gine An interested in sports, but I
<v Speaker 2>really just want to help Randy in any way you
<v Speaker 2>need it. Which was I mean, it's very wholesome. Uh sadly,
<v Speaker 2>Macha man's an ass whole to this poor poor woman.
<v Speaker 2>And Jeane says, Randy Savage. Quite unusual for you or
<v Speaker 2>any man to get a title shot so quickly? Are
<v Speaker 2>you ready? I'm ready able? And William don't I could.
<v Speaker 4>Ship?
<v Speaker 2>I know, don't you ever ask?
<v Speaker 1>You liked it?
<v Speaker 2>Again? Let's go a woman and fucking Elizabeth and him
<v Speaker 2>walk away. Jane is staring at her ass as she
<v Speaker 2>walks away, and Vince says, gene Gane, Jane, you never
<v Speaker 2>looked at Louibano that way, but I guess loui Abano
<v Speaker 2>never looked like Elizabeth.
<v Speaker 1>He jumps scared me and Gene that was finny.
<v Speaker 2>Matam should have came back and kicked the ship out
<v Speaker 2>of him. What the fuck? You're looking mean, Gene, you
<v Speaker 2>bowled basted, you would dressed like a pumpkin that attached.
<v Speaker 1>To your head or crossed the deal with the stiff.
<v Speaker 2>Macho Man should have just wrestled as Tarzan, not too
<v Speaker 2>far off from what he usually wears anywhere.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, I was that he wrestling as Tarzan? Actually you
<v Speaker 1>would ever question me like that again? Who is Tarzan?
<v Speaker 2>This is only wear fits my street clothes.
<v Speaker 1>So you have Macho Man versus Tito Santana Intercontinental Championship match.
<v Speaker 2>No words from Tito.
<v Speaker 1>Huh Yeah, I'm sure they got some, but maybe it
<v Speaker 1>just wasn't great.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, sure, fair enough.
<v Speaker 1>Macho Man and Tito start with a mean lock up here.
<v Speaker 2>Nice to see, very tight.
<v Speaker 1>Tito goes to punch Macho, but he backs off and
<v Speaker 1>looks at the crowd, and Jesse Ventura says, well, McMahon
<v Speaker 1>closed fist punches are illegal, so I don't blame Macho Man.
<v Speaker 2>He's such a fucking asshole.
<v Speaker 1>Macho Man grabs the chin lock. The crowd starts getting
<v Speaker 1>behind Tito as he works up here, but Macho yanks
<v Speaker 1>the hair and gets him back down.
<v Speaker 2>Fucking son of a bitch. I didn't it's so funny
<v Speaker 2>yanks him down, and Vince says, I looked like it
<v Speaker 2>was a yank there. Jesse, no, I certainly did not
<v Speaker 2>see that.
<v Speaker 1>Mcmahmon, dude, this was great. So Tito tries to grab
<v Speaker 1>Macho Man's hair, but the ref sees him and doesn't
<v Speaker 1>allow him to do it, and Jesse van Tura says,
<v Speaker 1>I think he was going for the hair there. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>good sequence of stuff here. Macho Man body slams Tito
<v Speaker 1>and heads up to the top, goes for the double axe,
<v Speaker 1>but Tito punches him in the stomach midair.
<v Speaker 2>That was a crazy way he got there. He climbed
<v Speaker 2>up to the top just to climb to the second.
<v Speaker 1>Doing a double axe as a regular move, by the way,
<v Speaker 1>makes the easiest cutoffs ever. I mean, good lord, Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>there's so much you can do there, because I feel
<v Speaker 1>like this is a very common cutoff for the most
<v Speaker 1>part over the next twenty or thirty years. But like
<v Speaker 1>nobody was actually using the double axe. We've seen Macha
<v Speaker 1>Man win matches with the double axe, so it made
<v Speaker 1>a ton of sense when Tito would punch him in
<v Speaker 1>the stomach out of midair because he's going for a
<v Speaker 1>move that wins the.
<v Speaker 2>Matches, right, and he know he knows the move. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>I've been watching a gift of mach Man doing it
<v Speaker 2>off of a cage all week.
<v Speaker 1>Dude, that is the craziest ship I've ever seen. This
<v Speaker 1>just destroying his legs at any chance he gets. There's
<v Speaker 1>no way to land that right.
<v Speaker 4>It just folds like an accordion. I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>I think when it hit him, you know I could
<v Speaker 2>do it from the top, But how about the tip
<v Speaker 2>of the cage and do it. I don't know about
<v Speaker 2>that one. Dude. Maybe you're gonna throw your fucking ankles
<v Speaker 2>and legs out, don't you dealt the much your man pussy?
<v Speaker 2>He probably fucking That's probably exactly what it was. Hogan
<v Speaker 2>said he couldn't do it, and watch Man says he's dude.
<v Speaker 7>The boys probably came after him really hard every time. Yeah,
<v Speaker 7>you won't jump off the top to the outside. You
<v Speaker 7>will do that.
<v Speaker 1>Turns out it was nobody. It was just people. Macha
<v Speaker 1>Man was making up in his head because he's.
<v Speaker 2>Here thinking about it.
<v Speaker 1>He's sitting in the corner of a room arguing with himself.
<v Speaker 1>I'll do it, I'll do it.
<v Speaker 2>He's in the fucking room where they put him fucking
<v Speaker 2>straight jacketed because of this slim gyms.
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna jump off some ship.
<v Speaker 2>The slim GM guy's talking to me.
<v Speaker 1>So Tito is now a house of fire, unloading everything
<v Speaker 1>he's got. After catching Macha Man off guard here punches
<v Speaker 1>kicks a big wind up punch. Tito hits the ropes
<v Speaker 1>for the flying Burrito, but Macha Man powders almost Tito
<v Speaker 1>chases him out and punches him down by the barricade.
<v Speaker 1>Here Macha Man is just playing keep away now. Macha
<v Speaker 1>Man then hits a knee lift that sounds like a
<v Speaker 1>fucking gunshot went off.
<v Speaker 2>Sounded fantastic. Yeah, it was legit, like fucking got him.
<v Speaker 1>The ref calls for the bell though, because the match
<v Speaker 1>is a double count.
<v Speaker 2>Sloppy finishes here in the WF, I'm getting real sick
<v Speaker 2>of it.
<v Speaker 1>I love the guy holding the mic beside the rings,
<v Speaker 1>sitting in a chair. I don't know if you noticed him.
<v Speaker 1>He's got the long stick mic and he's just sitting
<v Speaker 1>out there catching all the sounds.
<v Speaker 2>Oh is that for like the ring sound?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah? Yeah, they had this on all this Saturday night.
<v Speaker 1>Main events, like someone rings some of that big microphone.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's a smart idea when it works.
<v Speaker 1>So he go backstage. Mister Fuji is screwing in his eyeballs. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>what the fuck is this? He's fucking knuckling his temples
<v Speaker 1>and just grimacing and groaning into the camera. And then
<v Speaker 1>we go to another scene where Ricky Steenboad is breaking
<v Speaker 1>a board. Then he stands up and punches another and
<v Speaker 1>back elbows another one. He's going to town on this.
<v Speaker 1>This is, of course, the preparation you have.
<v Speaker 2>To have for a kung fu challenge.
<v Speaker 1>And of course then we cut to everyone backstage practicing
<v Speaker 1>for the pumpkin pass contest. This is the craziest back
<v Speaker 1>to back to back pretapes ever.
<v Speaker 2>Dude. The shot, the first shot that they show here
<v Speaker 2>is unexplained. They don't say what we're going into, so
<v Speaker 2>all I see is Iron Cheek and Nikolai Volkov kind
<v Speaker 2>of nuzzling each other's necks, and I'm like, what the
<v Speaker 2>fuck is going on? Is this? Like?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I was like, wow, he's a pretty badass. But
<v Speaker 1>then yeah, they say it's a pumpkin pass.
<v Speaker 2>I was so confused. Yeah, they're passing a pumpkin to
<v Speaker 2>each other through their necks, and the gene says, with
<v Speaker 2>the final practice is going on here for the pumpkin pass.
<v Speaker 2>Let's take a special, very special glimpse at Roddy Piper
<v Speaker 2>and how he spent his Halloween at his rented American home.
<v Speaker 1>I could have never guessed what I was about to see.
<v Speaker 2>I cannot believe like any of this, the fact that
<v Speaker 2>they went out of the way, by the way to
<v Speaker 2>make sure that people knew that this He didn't live
<v Speaker 2>in America like his his gimmick is he is not American.
<v Speaker 2>He's from Scotland. And you have to know this. Yeah, og,
<v Speaker 2>he's a landlord. So outside his house there's a big
<v Speaker 2>Roddy Piper cut out and bagpipes are playing, and Piper's
<v Speaker 2>in his house and he's oh yeah, ha ha hell
<v Speaker 2>al mighty spider and faster. Oh and there's a cutout
<v Speaker 2>of him in the house as well. Oh. So Restor
<v Speaker 2>salone to them, not too handsome my, he uh, And
<v Speaker 2>he's fucking flipping out and he says, Halloween such fun
<v Speaker 2>preparing for them little monsters. And you take a stick
<v Speaker 2>and you put it inside. You gotta twist that around.
<v Speaker 2>I don't understand what's going on until Vince is here,
<v Speaker 2>which he is here. He no clips into Piper's house.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's right with the microphone.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, he's he's set up for a broadcast, and Vince's here,
<v Speaker 2>and Vince says, ah, we're in the kitchen of a
<v Speaker 2>you know, the rented American home of Roddy Piper. Would
<v Speaker 2>you would you mind cutting down the radio? And Piper says,
<v Speaker 2>and I quote, I got bricks to make man, I
<v Speaker 2>don't know. That's where I realized. Oh he's fucking like
<v Speaker 2>planning to kill gits. What's happening here? So Vince says,
<v Speaker 2>mister Piper, how do you celebrate Halloween back in your
<v Speaker 2>native Scotland? And Piper says, ah, not a native. I
<v Speaker 2>come from the most sophisticated And Vince's hold on, wait,
<v Speaker 2>what the these are? These are bricks? Oh no, no, no,
<v Speaker 2>this is a bowling ball. No no, that's not candy apple.
<v Speaker 2>He says. When one of her children come to the
<v Speaker 2>door and ring the doorbell ding ding, another one comes
<v Speaker 2>out a ding ding and a ding ding, and I
<v Speaker 2>r ding Dan And Piper emphasizes that in Scotland it's
<v Speaker 2>trick or treat, which means, I guess this is what
<v Speaker 2>they do there. You either get a trick or a treat,
<v Speaker 2>and one of the tricks will be he will beat
<v Speaker 2>you to death with bricks and bowling ball. Right, James, No,
<v Speaker 2>am I getting this wrong?
<v Speaker 1>Oh? I don't know. Yeah, I mean this whole segment.
<v Speaker 1>I just I have no idea what's going on. It's
<v Speaker 1>like a psychopath at work, don't Yeah right, I don't
<v Speaker 1>think you're supposed to understand what's going on there is like.
<v Speaker 7>He's screwing sticks into bowling balls.
<v Speaker 1>What the is that?
<v Speaker 4>A kady apple?
<v Speaker 1>But yeah, yeah, he's just a crazy, crazy man.
<v Speaker 2>Well, the doorbell rings and there's kids here, and one
<v Speaker 2>of the kids says, I remember last year. So Piper says, oh,
<v Speaker 2>I'll come on in here, which I guess was acceptable
<v Speaker 2>in nineteen eighty five that kids knock on the door
<v Speaker 2>and you bring them into the house.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Did that just fucking happen like all the time.
<v Speaker 2>So and Vince is there, always fu in trouble And
<v Speaker 2>he says, look at this, what a bunch of lovely
<v Speaker 2>curtain climbers. What are you supposed to be? The kid says, oh,
<v Speaker 2>Hull cooking mister Piper. Oh who is he anyway? You
<v Speaker 2>got candy? Oh, yeah, got SAME's SAME's tie his arms
<v Speaker 2>as Houlgan. That sucks those.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, those are bricks balls.
<v Speaker 2>No, no, no, these are fucking candy apples. And one
<v Speaker 2>of the girls is why are they so big? Oh?
<v Speaker 2>Because I'm a wonderful person. So he tries to give
<v Speaker 2>him chocolate. He says, you know this chocolates from Hershey, Pennsylvania,
<v Speaker 2>and you want some, let me help you, any stiff.
<v Speaker 1>That's where we're at tonight.
<v Speaker 8>Yeah, that's where we're at tonight.
<v Speaker 2>That's where at this lovely house. And Piper stuffs a
<v Speaker 2>bowling ball through one of the bags. It's dude, I
<v Speaker 2>don't know if you guys called it. He does this,
<v Speaker 2>and the bag rips and you can hear someone behind
<v Speaker 2>the shot laughing.
<v Speaker 1>Oh I didn't catch that. I had a very crazy
<v Speaker 1>VHS effect going on all the time.
<v Speaker 2>So Piper says, oh, I help you, and the candy
<v Speaker 2>goes all over the floor, and he says, I got
<v Speaker 2>a bag of candy fill for yeah, I'll film up,
<v Speaker 2>and he fucking fills two bags of candy and he
<v Speaker 2>hands it to the kids and the kids say thank you,
<v Speaker 2>mister Piper, and he's all, you're well, so welcome.
<v Speaker 1>I'll get out.
<v Speaker 2>So the kids fucking leave. They're all corralling around outside
<v Speaker 2>and they say, we got him this time. I hope
<v Speaker 2>mister Piper likes his chocolate covered red pepper And I'm
<v Speaker 2>like what, So we go right back inside. Immediately, Piper
<v Speaker 2>is fucking flipping out. He takes flowers out of a
<v Speaker 2>vase and drinks the water pours Oliver's fucking head. Vince
<v Speaker 2>is dying, laughing as Piper's flipping out. Oh, you're fucking stupid.
<v Speaker 1>Cavan looks at the camera.
<v Speaker 8>You guys like Tama Jerry or what bucks Buddy does
<v Speaker 8>a little tapped in.
<v Speaker 1>Dude, the way Vince turns and looks at the camera says,
<v Speaker 1>trick or tree Roddy. That was more unnerving than the
<v Speaker 1>rest of this.
<v Speaker 2>Fuck you put Hogan Kid on a sleeper and Hogan
<v Speaker 2>Kid from it.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I should have just panned away outside. Drone shot
<v Speaker 1>backing up, the kids start running like they're in the
<v Speaker 1>movie weapons and Piper's chasing them around the neighborhood.
<v Speaker 7>Dude, he's throwing bowling balls and bricks at these kids
<v Speaker 7>as they are running down the street.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's time for the main event here, mister Fuji
<v Speaker 1>versus Ricky Steamboat Kung Fu match. We get a little
<v Speaker 1>pre match stuff here. Mean Gene comes up to mister
<v Speaker 1>Fuji backstage who is breaking bricks with his bare hands.
<v Speaker 2>Which I mean is pretty impressive. I can only and
<v Speaker 2>I believe that they're real bricks, and I'm buying into it.
<v Speaker 2>And he does it. He breaks one. He says, this
<v Speaker 2>is fucking Ricky Steamboat's arm. This one's Ricky Steamboat's leg.
<v Speaker 2>And then he has a board and he says, this
<v Speaker 2>is the ribs of Ricky Steamboat and he breaks it
<v Speaker 2>over his head. And Jeane says, you have got to
<v Speaker 2>be kidding me. We got to get out of here
<v Speaker 2>before we run out of bricks and wood, which I
<v Speaker 2>guess they needed in an abundance.
<v Speaker 1>Of Take it to Roddy Piper's with a pre tape.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Jean said, Uh, wow, you're creating a lot of expectations
<v Speaker 1>and you think you're going to be able to follow
<v Speaker 1>it through. No, mean, Gene, I don't think they are.
<v Speaker 2>No way, Bud, no way. I It's it's actually it's
<v Speaker 2>it's pretty interesting. I guess this isn't something that we
<v Speaker 2>talked about before the pacing of shows like this, because
<v Speaker 2>I think the last one too had a The Hogan
<v Speaker 2>Terry Funk match was not the main of that one,
<v Speaker 2>was it.
<v Speaker 1>There must have been a time in the show where
<v Speaker 1>they knew that most people would be watching, so that's
<v Speaker 1>where they wanted to be on the show.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, sure, okay, that makes sense, and that's where the
<v Speaker 2>biggest match goes then, So.
<v Speaker 1>Mister Fuji he walks out with Don Morocco to the
<v Speaker 1>ring and Mean Jean is here with Ricky Steamboat.
<v Speaker 2>Jean says, perhaps one of the most important matches of
<v Speaker 2>your career. That's fucking crazy. We know mister Fuji and
<v Speaker 2>Don Morocco are capable of let's go back in time
<v Speaker 2>and professional memories. So they show back to this angle
<v Speaker 2>here where they had a belt or a strap wrapped
<v Speaker 2>around Ricky Steamboat's neck and mister Fuji was holding him
<v Speaker 2>up with this. Don Morocco was holding his legs and
<v Speaker 2>they threw him over the top rope to hangman him. Yep,
<v Speaker 2>this is the scariest thing I've ever fucking seen.
<v Speaker 1>So now it's time for a Kung Fu match.
<v Speaker 2>Gene says, what would be different on your match tonight?
<v Speaker 2>And Ricky says, you know, in the past, the they
<v Speaker 2>you know, they felt the physical person, Ricky Steamboat. Tonight, Fuji,
<v Speaker 2>you're gonna feel what you fear the dragon. You remember that, Fuji,
<v Speaker 2>I see you out there, and he points out to
<v Speaker 2>the ring the dragon. I've said enough and he heads
<v Speaker 2>to the ring.
<v Speaker 1>Me and Jean says, that makes me feel very uneasy.
<v Speaker 1>Back to you Vents. Wow, you guys have created some
<v Speaker 1>very high expectations for this one. Ricky Steamboat versus mister
<v Speaker 1>Fuji with Don Morocco Kung Fu match. As you mentioned before,
<v Speaker 1>Fuji and Morocco have been making Steamboat's life a living hell.
<v Speaker 1>I mean they hang man him over the ropes, right, Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>so Steamboat's gonna unleash the dragon and take care of business.
<v Speaker 1>Steamboat is fucking shredded. Man.
<v Speaker 2>He looks great, he looks fantastic. Yeah, dude, Like again,
<v Speaker 2>you know I watched his match. I'm like, God, damn it.
<v Speaker 2>You know a little singles with Don Morocco would have
<v Speaker 2>been cool.
<v Speaker 1>Well, Steamboat hits a huge strike combo with an Enzi
<v Speaker 1>to start things off. Mister Fuji goes low and then
<v Speaker 1>head butts steamboats cock and balls.
<v Speaker 2>Dude like, he definitely kicks him right in the balls,
<v Speaker 2>and n says, oh, that was not a kick to
<v Speaker 2>the groin, it was the upper leg. However, I'm guessing
<v Speaker 2>the referee just fucking blew this one.
<v Speaker 1>Dude. He said, that's not a kick to the groin,
<v Speaker 1>and then he immediately head butts him right in the
<v Speaker 1>cock and balls. Well, all right, Fuji chops Steamboat super
<v Speaker 1>hard here, which sees Steamboat fire back with a low combo.
<v Speaker 1>Fuji gets underneath Steamboat's chin with two fingers and sends
<v Speaker 1>them flying.
<v Speaker 2>Holy shit, Tonguan death grip whip. This was fucking sick.
<v Speaker 1>Fuji hits a TNA kick, goes for a vertical souplex,
<v Speaker 1>but Steamboat reverses it into one of his own.
<v Speaker 2>Dude, I wrote, Fuji double punches him in the chest
<v Speaker 2>and then hits a TNA kick. It's just what it lives. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I mean, fucking Ricky's on top now heads up top
<v Speaker 2>for his.
<v Speaker 1>Move the drop kick from the top right, and he
<v Speaker 1>hits it and it's over and he wins.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. I said, oh, I was totally expecting diving cross body,
<v Speaker 2>but I guess in a kung fu match, you have
<v Speaker 2>to do a kung fu dropkick.
<v Speaker 1>Do you see Ricky Steamboat's finish at the cross body
<v Speaker 1>the Dragons finishes the drop Anyways, here's Don Morocco. He
<v Speaker 1>comes in and Steamboat and that fas.
<v Speaker 7>Awesome, just spitzerr in his face.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, unreal amount of mist that he unloads on Ricky
<v Speaker 2>here and it's I mean, it's all over them, and
<v Speaker 2>then they kick the shit out of them. Even worse,
<v Speaker 2>they missed his eyes and then mister Fuji starts raking
<v Speaker 2>his eyes. Yeah, fucking asshole. They stop him out, they
<v Speaker 2>rake his eyes and they just leave. And Jesse Ventura says,
<v Speaker 2>this goes by one of my old standby rules, McMahon.
<v Speaker 2>It's not how you play the game, it's whether you
<v Speaker 2>win or lose. Ha ha damn me.
<v Speaker 1>And Gene is here with Elizabeth and shows the audience
<v Speaker 1>how we're doing the pumpkin pass. You put the pumpkin
<v Speaker 1>on your neck, yeah, you pass it to the other
<v Speaker 1>person's neck.
<v Speaker 2>There's intricacies here, and they have to do this through
<v Speaker 2>the entire line of their team to win, and if
<v Speaker 2>they drop it, that is how many passes will count
<v Speaker 2>to their final score. On Jean, it's very awkward. I
<v Speaker 2>don't know why they gonna come up with anything else here. Yeah. Really,
<v Speaker 2>so we're with Vincent Jesse now, and Vince says, we're
<v Speaker 2>just about ready for the final event, the special Pumpkin
<v Speaker 2>pass competition. And if you'll recall Jesse, early on, Lou
<v Speaker 2>Albano's team won the pilting contest. Well, that didn't surprise
<v Speaker 2>me one bit McMahon, because Lou Albano is a big, fat,
<v Speaker 2>sloppy pig.
<v Speaker 1>Holy fuck Jesus Jesus Christ. Hey you in the room, right, asshole,
<v Speaker 1>what are you gonna do?
<v Speaker 2>Fat boy?
<v Speaker 1>You know? And boys with whole coache? Hodrea Gyre right like,
<v Speaker 1>oh fuck, yeah, I know, George Anami steel asshole.
<v Speaker 2>Well, Vince says, Vince doesn't even sell that. He says, yes,
<v Speaker 2>but hey, then we saw the bobbing for pumpkins that
<v Speaker 2>was won by Bobby Heathens team. Well, he's the brain,
<v Speaker 2>of course he won. I'm not too sure what this
<v Speaker 2>next competition takes, but nonetheless, gentlemen, are you ready? You
<v Speaker 2>have sixty seconds to pass this pumpkin down the line.
<v Speaker 2>If you drop. But that's where the count of passes stops.
<v Speaker 2>So we begin with the faces. Uh, they start passing
<v Speaker 2>it from one to the other. It's Jyd Tito, Santana,
<v Speaker 2>a bunch of other faces here, and Jesse is already
<v Speaker 2>accusing them of cheating. They're covering up with their capes. McMahon.
<v Speaker 2>They're getting their hands in there. There's hands involved in there.
<v Speaker 2>Lou Albano gets past the pumpkin, he then starts convulsing.
<v Speaker 2>He must have an immediate allergic reaction. And this was why.
<v Speaker 1>You know, hell gets you every time.
<v Speaker 2>There's no such thing if you have some. So yeah,
<v Speaker 2>Loui Bano starts shaking. He drops it before he can
<v Speaker 2>pass it to Hogan. So there's five successful passes for
<v Speaker 2>Loua Albano's team. Hogan should have fucking decked them right there.
<v Speaker 2>You fucking up my push, dude, that's going to gets
<v Speaker 2>my win loss record.
<v Speaker 1>Brother, No, come on, that's his boy.
<v Speaker 2>Why is Andre not participating in the Halloween contest? Activities
<v Speaker 2>just couldn't pay him enough. That fucking sucks. They should
<v Speaker 2>have got pumpkin beer.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, he probably went to the bar. He's not doing
<v Speaker 1>the pumpkin pass.
<v Speaker 2>He's taking a big shit instead of doing this. So
<v Speaker 2>we go to the next team and Jesse says, me
<v Speaker 2>and Jean, we got a new late entry. Super rod
<v Speaker 2>has arrived. This team has got to be the odds
<v Speaker 2>on favorite because Roddy Piper's now here and his goddamn
<v Speaker 2>Superman outfit. And then we have the Heels do it.
<v Speaker 1>The Heels, King Abraham Lincoln starts things off. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>this is a crazy look. I mean, this guy looks nuts.
<v Speaker 2>I didn't realize that in my brain. King Kong Bunny
<v Speaker 2>was not a stooge, but he kind of was.
<v Speaker 1>Got that hat.
<v Speaker 2>So they pass it one to the other, and we
<v Speaker 2>get down to Elizabeth trying to pass it to Piper,
<v Speaker 2>and Piper's going out of his way to make this
<v Speaker 2>the most difficult process he could possibly make it and
<v Speaker 2>Elizabeth drops it, which turns her into the most hated
<v Speaker 2>person in the room.
<v Speaker 1>Macho man is pissed.
<v Speaker 2>Dude, Macho man in her face. Fucking Piper is screaming
<v Speaker 2>a shame on you. They're like, all the Heels are
<v Speaker 2>admonishing her for dropping this stupid ass pumpkin. Macho man
<v Speaker 2>is I mean, he's so fucking mad. He's more mad
<v Speaker 2>that he that they lost this than him not winning
<v Speaker 2>the inter title, Like this is nuts and fucking. Jesse says, well,
<v Speaker 2>I would suppose, you know, you go over there with
<v Speaker 2>the Hillbillies. They grew up sitting on pumpkins. And she says,
<v Speaker 2>what do you why do you want to get on
<v Speaker 2>the case of the Hillbillies. Well, you better watch it yourself,
<v Speaker 2>you little pumpkin, or how to pass you? I am sorry? Fuck,
<v Speaker 2>I mean the the fucking the ability for these guys
<v Speaker 2>to bounce off each other is amazing, Yeah, it really is.
<v Speaker 2>The chemistry is fair with.
<v Speaker 1>Each other all the time.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's true. They're probably fucking ribbing each other on
<v Speaker 2>the road constantly.
<v Speaker 1>Well, it goes to commercial when it comes back and Vince,
<v Speaker 1>me and Gene and Jesse Ventur are here.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, Vince says, Pumpkin eating pie, passing and Piper's pitt
<v Speaker 2>can't get any more than this. Well, let me tell
<v Speaker 2>you too, dude, something you Jack McMahon and you little
<v Speaker 2>ugly pumpkin. It could get a lot better than this.
<v Speaker 2>Me and Piper, we want those Hillbillies in the ring
<v Speaker 2>on the next Saturday Night made event. WWF you listen up,
<v Speaker 2>and Jean's had enough. De loox up a Jesse Ventur
<v Speaker 2>and says, you call me a little pumpkin. Jesse Ventura,
<v Speaker 2>you're the last one to talk with them Pheasid and
<v Speaker 2>peacock feathers all over your face.
<v Speaker 1>Aren't I pretty?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, give me a break. Vince, I don't know about
<v Speaker 2>this guy.
<v Speaker 1>Well, it goes to commercial and we come back and
<v Speaker 1>they say goodbye.
<v Speaker 2>Dick ever Saw. So yeah, Vince is with Jesse and
<v Speaker 2>vinceys I had a really good time, Jess, what about you. Well,
<v Speaker 2>if that's your idea of a good time, McMahon, I've
<v Speaker 2>sure had better ones. All right, So long, let's see
<v Speaker 2>on the next Saturay Night's Man event. Dick ever Saw
<v Speaker 2>is on this. He fucking put this together, shouts out
<v Speaker 2>Dick ever Saw. I love these shows. I love these shows.
<v Speaker 2>I feel like I have such an appreciation for a
<v Speaker 2>lot of these guys more than I already did, like
<v Speaker 2>completely admit myself. The terry funk that I know is
<v Speaker 2>e CW and beyond sure how I caught him right
<v Speaker 2>like he came into ECW. I his gimmick there was
<v Speaker 2>he was the vet So I just knew that he'd
<v Speaker 2>been around them, so like that's how I all saw him.
<v Speaker 2>So getting back, go to go back and see like, oh, okay,
<v Speaker 2>this is like this is why he was sick, Like
<v Speaker 2>this is why I mean even with Hogan, like you know,
<v Speaker 2>the Hogan that I saw, obviously, I've seen clips and
<v Speaker 2>clips of him from fucking you know, Slimon Andre YadA, YadA, YadA.
<v Speaker 2>But like you can very obviously see how this guy
<v Speaker 2>caught the crowd that he did and how he got
<v Speaker 2>so over. Everything he did was so flat, not maybe
<v Speaker 2>not entirely moves wise, but just how he presented himself.
<v Speaker 2>He was fucking huge, larger than life is probably good
<v Speaker 2>way to put I think James said that earlier. Uh,
<v Speaker 2>I mean, like I totally get like all this stuff,
<v Speaker 2>Piper another guy, just the being able to see these guys,
<v Speaker 2>I mean, nineteen eighty five, I don't know shit about
<v Speaker 2>a lot of this stuff, even fucking Junkyard Dog like
<v Speaker 2>James was talking about, which I you know, he was
<v Speaker 2>fucking schooling me on that. You know, how over he
<v Speaker 2>was before this. It's like, damn man, like fucking it
<v Speaker 2>used to be better, huh.
<v Speaker 1>At the very least it was definitely different. Yeah.
