<v Speaker 1>way more interesting. I'm also kind of pissed that Roman
<v Speaker 1>has the championship again because I don't want a part
<v Speaker 1>time wrestler having the most important job in the industry.
<v Speaker 1>Raw after Mania was really not what a raw after
<v Speaker 1>media should feel like. At least I didn't pay for
<v Speaker 1>ESPN Plus or Premium. I think it's unlimited, whatever it's called.
<v Speaker 1>Because I live in Germany. We're just not getting out
<v Speaker 1>getting our money's worth anymore. Have a good one, Darius.

<v Speaker 1>that he's going to be a full time wrestler this summer,
<v Speaker 1>so he's going to solve that. He said that was
<v Speaker 1>announced on the post show of WrestleMania forty two nine two,
<v Speaker 1>So that is confirmed by Roman, which tells you Roman's
<v Speaker 1>not dropping the championship, likely until Summer Slam or beyond
<v Speaker 1>at the minimum. So Roman will be here on a
<v Speaker 1>full time basis, maybe starting now and moving forward as
<v Speaker 1>he's champion. So the other part of your email regarding
<v Speaker 1>Pat McAfee, the word is on the street that Pat
<v Speaker 1>McAfee opted out in Jelly Roll. Both of the men
<v Speaker 1>opted out of being a part of backlash that we
<v Speaker 1>all knew was going to to be a tag team
<v Speaker 1>match with Randy Orton and Pat McAfee versus Cody Rhodes
<v Speaker 1>and Jelly Roll that has been scrapped reportedly due to
<v Speaker 1>Pat McAfee in Jelly Roll both opting out knowing that
<v Speaker 1>what they were doing sucked. And I have to say,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, we all know it did We all know
<v Speaker 1>it was horrible, much more so on the Pat McAfee
<v Speaker 1>side than Jelly Roll. But Jelly Roll, even in himself,
<v Speaker 1>had no business being there at the same time they
<v Speaker 1>agreed to do this in the first place. I bet you, Pat.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, he's had some mental health issues in the past,
<v Speaker 1>or he took time away because he's burned out and
<v Speaker 1>his brain, you know whatever. He had to kind of
<v Speaker 1>cope with whatever he was going on in his head
<v Speaker 1>and had too much going on. I bet you this
<v Speaker 1>really affected him, and I do feel for Pat McAfee. Look,
<v Speaker 1>this is a storyline, or was a storyline, and you're
<v Speaker 1>not going to turn down WrestleMania. So I've kind of
<v Speaker 1>given Pat shit for this online. I was a bit
<v Speaker 1>harsh saying that, you know, well, why would you do
<v Speaker 1>it in the first place then if it's such a
<v Speaker 1>shitty story. But it's WrestleMania and it's also a big payday.
<v Speaker 1>There's nobody in the sound of my voice that would
<v Speaker 1>have not done it, given the paycheck that was probably
<v Speaker 1>given to both of these men, and the fact that
<v Speaker 1>you get to be a part of the biggest of
<v Speaker 1>show of the entire year with millions of eyeballs on you.
<v Speaker 1>So yeah, that part of it was not fun listening
<v Speaker 1>to everyone in Unison talk about how shitty this story was.
<v Speaker 1>That part isn't fun, and it probably did really get
<v Speaker 1>to him and he didn't want to deal with it
<v Speaker 1>for the next four weeks or whatever until backlash, three
<v Speaker 1>weeks till backlash. So I mean, I do feel for
<v Speaker 1>Pat on an actual human level. I do feel for him.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, this is straight from area manual. This is
<v Speaker 1>from the executives at TKO. I blame them mostly. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>nobody forced Pat, but it's a payday and a lot
<v Speaker 1>of eyeballs on you. Of course, why not. It's one
<v Speaker 1>of the worst storylines going into WrestleMania of all time.
<v Speaker 1>But not gonna not do it. I don't blame Jelly
<v Speaker 1>role either, you know, I don't blame Pat for getting
<v Speaker 1>involved in the WrestleMania forty two. You do it at WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>and then you move on, and they did. They took
<v Speaker 1>their lumps, specifically Pat McAfee. He got his ass kick
<v Speaker 1>the WrestleMania, which we all wanted to see, and he did,
<v Speaker 1>and he went away and that was true go away heat.
<v Speaker 1>And there is a difference despite the fact that jbl
<v Speaker 1>who is trying to make the case that Pat McAfee
<v Speaker 1>is doing an excellent job being a heel and this
<v Speaker 1>is what a real heel looks like, and there's no
<v Speaker 1>such thing as a heel that everyone knows as a heel,
<v Speaker 1>and that if you're in on it, they're not really
<v Speaker 1>a heel, and that go away Heat is true heel
<v Speaker 1>heat like no, this clearly I mean the person even
<v Speaker 1>playing the role Pat McAfee admitted it was one of
<v Speaker 1>the shittiest stories going into WrestleMania. And again, it wasn't
<v Speaker 1>about when Pack got his ass kicked the WrestleMania. It
<v Speaker 1>was a little bit about wanting to see Pat get
<v Speaker 1>his ass kicked as a character. But it was ninety
<v Speaker 1>percent we just wanted him to go away. Just let
<v Speaker 1>Randy and Cody Russell excuse me. And we did get
<v Speaker 1>to see that real early on, real early on. And
<v Speaker 1>so that's the difference. I mean, JBL is sometimes he's
<v Speaker 1>dead wrong on a lot of stuff. And I have
<v Speaker 1>to say I was thinking about this earlier today. I
<v Speaker 1>was out in my garage right before I started recording this,
<v Speaker 1>and I was thinking about JBL and his comments about
<v Speaker 1>the heel heat stuff. And I actually had an interaction
<v Speaker 1>in person, interaction with JBL when he was champion on
<v Speaker 1>SmackDown as the undisputed champion. He came off beating Eddie
<v Speaker 1>Guerrero and he had that long hot streak, the ten
<v Speaker 1>month streak of being the undisputed champion over on SmackDown.
<v Speaker 1>If you remember that, if you're old enough to remember that,
<v Speaker 1>that's now twenty two years ago. And actually JBL did
<v Speaker 1>an excellent job one of the great success stories of
<v Speaker 1>being able to totally flip your character upside down and
<v Speaker 1>make it work. He did a great job. But I
<v Speaker 1>remember an interaction I had and twenty two years ago
<v Speaker 1>that puts me, oh god, I was nineteen nineteen years
<v Speaker 1>old in two thousand and four. So do the math. Well,
<v Speaker 1>you don't have to, just did it. But my point
<v Speaker 1>is I remember him doing a signing here. It wasn't
<v Speaker 1>a SmackDown show. It was just a regular signing he
<v Speaker 1>did at our arena. It was at the arena that
<v Speaker 1>the shows are held, and he did a signing. And
<v Speaker 1>he was champion at the time, so he was bringing
<v Speaker 1>his championship belt everywhere he went, or at least to
<v Speaker 1>the signings the real one. And I finally get up
<v Speaker 1>to the line and I don't know, he might have
<v Speaker 1>signed our T shirts or something. I forget exactly what
<v Speaker 1>he signed for us, And he took a picture with us,
<v Speaker 1>and I remember he's sitting down at the desk. I
<v Speaker 1>lean in on the table. I put my elbow on
<v Speaker 1>the table to lean in to smile for the champion
<v Speaker 1>or for the picture. Then a couple of my buddies
<v Speaker 1>are with me too, and they lean in and JBL
<v Speaker 1>sitting there putting on the face make a smile you've
<v Speaker 1>ever seen, which, Hey, you're on your day off, your
<v Speaker 1>deg dog tied, deg dead dog tired. I'll get it out.
<v Speaker 1>And you got to deal with a bunch of you know,
<v Speaker 1>teenage kids who just want to have you signed stuff
<v Speaker 1>so they can sell it on eBay. I get it. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>he's dead dog tired. Fine, But not only that. I
<v Speaker 1>leaned in. And when I leaned in, I unbeen knowingly
<v Speaker 1>to myself or him at the time, leaned in and
<v Speaker 1>I actually pushed the real championship out, not a replica,
<v Speaker 1>the real one. I pushed it till when I was
<v Speaker 1>leaning in and it knocked over on the table, and
<v Speaker 1>I remember him looking at me, and I'm like, oh fuck.
<v Speaker 1>And I'm nineteen years old. You know, I think I'm invincible.
<v Speaker 1>And he looked at me. He gave me like the
<v Speaker 1>dirtiest look, and and I get I get why. You know, hey,
<v Speaker 1>he's it's disrespectful. You know, you're not paying attention to
<v Speaker 1>what you're doing. And you know this is something I've
<v Speaker 1>tried to obtain my whole life. I get it. I
<v Speaker 1>get it. So I just remember that interaction. You know,
<v Speaker 1>I knocked the championship right over. I didn't knocked to
<v Speaker 1>the floor or anything dramatic, and it wasn't a big scene.
<v Speaker 1>But I just remember that subtle moment with JBL. So
<v Speaker 1>even in person, I have not had a positive reaction
<v Speaker 1>with him. He even blocked me on X because I
<v Speaker 1>guess that's just what he does. And anyway, I have
<v Speaker 1>nothing personal against him, but he does seem at times
<v Speaker 1>like a bit of a drama queen with people that
<v Speaker 1>don't agree with him. That's just an observation that I have.
<v Speaker 1>So anyway, all right, enough of my personal stuff. Let's
<v Speaker 1>talk a little bit more to you guys and Darius.
<v Speaker 1>There was an unmitigated disaster. Even the match itself with
<v Speaker 1>Randy and Cody was very confusing because I didn't know
<v Speaker 1>coming out of it. Even coming out of it, what
<v Speaker 1>the hell is going on? Who I'm supposed to cheer for?
<v Speaker 1>Because Randy did heal stuff, Cody did a bunch of
<v Speaker 1>heel stuff, but they both did babyface stuff the RCAOTA
<v Speaker 1>pat but then the punt to to Cody, and I'm like,
<v Speaker 1>what the fuck is going on? I mean, I just
<v Speaker 1>I have no idea. I don't know how I'm supposed
<v Speaker 1>to feel coming out of that. I have no idea.
<v Speaker 1>So all right, thank you, Darius. So let's go to Tristan,
<v Speaker 1>and Tristan says or TJ from Texas says, I don't
<v Speaker 1>buy this. Brockles in retirement bs for one second. There
<v Speaker 1>has to be some other angle. Let's not forget. And
<v Speaker 1>that's a great point. This is what I was going
<v Speaker 1>to bring up today. Tristan SummerSlam is in Minnesota. If
<v Speaker 1>I'm not mistaken, is it Minneapolis too? Brock won a
<v Speaker 1>college national championship for the University of Minnesota as an
<v Speaker 1>amateur wrestler, and when he left for WWE to go
<v Speaker 1>to the NFL, he was on the Minnesota Vikings practice squad.
<v Speaker 1>I truly believe ww knew exactly one year after his
<v Speaker 1>signing was the second biggest show of the year in
<v Speaker 1>Brock's adopted home state in Viking Stadium. Even if it's
<v Speaker 1>isn't a match, although we need that Gunther match, please,
<v Speaker 1>Brock will be a part of the show. Hot take.
<v Speaker 1>Outside of Brock having a match with Gunther, the next
<v Speaker 1>big thing would be to give him a moment in
<v Speaker 1>the ring with the crowd as a retirement speech. Then
<v Speaker 1>have the Undertaker come out and surprise him for real,
<v Speaker 1>saying he will headline next year his Hall of Fame
<v Speaker 1>like he did with AJ Styles. Keep up the great

<v Speaker 1>We could easily see a summer slime match, and you

<v Speaker 1>the Saudi government is willing to shell out? It brought
<v Speaker 1>Shawn Michaels out of retirement. We're all supposed to pretend

<v Speaker 1>again for one of the worst tag team matches ever,
<v Speaker 1>that is just comical at this point. And I'm not
<v Speaker 1>trying to tear down those four men. It was, and
<v Speaker 1>even they have made fun of their own tag team match.
<v Speaker 1>It was that bad. With Caine's mass falling off, Triple
<v Speaker 1>Ah tore his peck, Shawn Michaels got bloodied and he
<v Speaker 1>looked torrible. Bald Undertaker had a bad night. It was
<v Speaker 1>just horrific. The timing was all off. It looked like
<v Speaker 1>just a disaster. But anyway, that's not my point. My
<v Speaker 1>point is that if Saudi can put enough zeros at
<v Speaker 1>the end of a check, they'll do it to get
<v Speaker 1>brock Lessner. Unless Brock is just like, I don't care
<v Speaker 1>how much money you give me, I'm not doing it.
<v Speaker 1>I just say like, I would not put it past
<v Speaker 1>Brock to go to Wrestlemanny of forty three because Saudi,
<v Speaker 1>out of any place ever that you go to, has
<v Speaker 1>the deepest pockets. So that could sway brock Lessner if
<v Speaker 1>he's motivated by grabbing as much cash as he possibly
<v Speaker 1>can before he does actually hang.
<v Speaker 2>Up the boots.
<v Speaker 1>But I do believe Summer Slam is a very good,
<v Speaker 1>very real possibility for Brock, and it's got to be
<v Speaker 1>gun there. I don't need them screwing around. It has
<v Speaker 1>to be Gunther. It matches exactly what Gunther does. That's
<v Speaker 1>what his legend or his his own his own career
<v Speaker 1>is being built on, is retiring wrestlers quote unquote, that's
<v Speaker 1>he's the career killer, that's his thing. Brock is one
<v Speaker 1>of the biggest names ever. Brock is easily slotted into
<v Speaker 1>that in Minnesota. It's only a few months away. Brock
<v Speaker 1>is still in shape. He's not injured to the best
<v Speaker 1>of my knowledge. And also, don't forget Paul hayman O's
<v Speaker 1>gunther A favor. It all fits in excuse me, perfectly,
<v Speaker 1>It all fits in perfect So I would say, there's
<v Speaker 1>a very good chance that we're not done with Brock
<v Speaker 1>and we could get one more. On top of why
<v Speaker 1>wouldn't they mon to monetize brock Lesner's retirement. Of course
<v Speaker 1>you would. You promote the hell out of it. That's
<v Speaker 1>what a good business does. And TKO is, as we know,
<v Speaker 1>not a shame to be talking about how much money
<v Speaker 1>they made and how much they are getting out of

<v Speaker 1>agree it doesn't to me, it's just they did it

<v Speaker 1>just connected to solo loosely in terms of like being
<v Speaker 1>a offshoot of the bloodline. But the makeup is the
<v Speaker 1>only thing they have to keep themselves interesting or memorable.

<v Speaker 1>and I like some of the more soft rock, very
<v Speaker 1>very few heavy metal songs unless it had to do
<v Speaker 1>with wrestling, and then of course that was you know,
<v Speaker 1>all bets are off, But honestly, I would secretly listen
<v Speaker 1>to like the Backstreet Boys, the Spice Girls, that kind
<v Speaker 1>of thing. I really would, I mean, and I still
<v Speaker 1>do now. I don't give a fuck. I mean, I'm
<v Speaker 1>forty one years old. I don't care. I actually went
<v Speaker 1>to a Backstreet Boys concert. Who was it twenty seventeen
<v Speaker 1>in Boston. They were in Fenway and they were headlining
<v Speaker 1>with Nelly and Florida Georgia Line and some of you are.
<v Speaker 1>I mean again, it's everyone's taste in music is different.
<v Speaker 1>You may hate all three of those bands and performers.
<v Speaker 1>I get it. It's all subjective. But being a millennial,
<v Speaker 1>we grew up during the boy band era, and I
<v Speaker 1>had to pretend because in high school it's not cool
<v Speaker 1>or you know, you'll get a ton of shit from
<v Speaker 1>your friends if they you know you're ever they ever
<v Speaker 1>catch you listening to the Backstreet Boys. And back then
<v Speaker 1>we had to have walkman's and you had to find
<v Speaker 1>one that had sixty seconds skip protection, which is you know,
<v Speaker 1>eighty bucks. Again, I'm dating myself, but you had to
<v Speaker 1>really hide it. So I would always have a Creed
<v Speaker 1>CD in there, but occasionally, if I knew I was
<v Speaker 1>going to be by myself some of the the day,
<v Speaker 1>and I could yeah, oh yeah, fuck yeah, especially when
<v Speaker 1>I got home. I mean I wouldn't sit there and
<v Speaker 1>sing along and do the dance moves to TRL. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>and some of you who, by the way, who are
<v Speaker 1>overseas or whatever, you're just like, what the fuck is
<v Speaker 1>he talking about? Maybe it's a United States thing because
<v Speaker 1>TRL was based in New York City with Carson Day,
<v Speaker 1>and it was this big countdown music video countdown when
<v Speaker 1>actually music videos meant something and were a big deal
<v Speaker 1>when they got released. It was always a fight between
<v Speaker 1>like Britney Spears in sync and Backstreet Boys at the top,
<v Speaker 1>along with Eminem. Occasionally get some Eminem, which I do
<v Speaker 1>like a lot of his stuff too, not all of it.

<v Speaker 1>even notice that, you very well maybe write it. I
<v Speaker 1>didn't make that comparison, but I also loved then. You

<v Speaker 1>next night on Raw. It was really a WrestleMania seventeen throwback.

<v Speaker 1>Seen a segment with Dan Hausen, Miz and Wilson. I
<v Speaker 1>would agree it was as good as that segment could

<v Speaker 1>I was really hoping for Russev to win to bump

<v Speaker 1>out of a match not knowing how to feel at WrestleMania,
<v Speaker 1>it didn't do its job. Wrestle Mania is not the

<v Speaker 1>a well, we'll see where things go. And no, this
<v Speaker 1>is when you pay things off or do big things. Definitively,
<v Speaker 1>there shouldn't be shades of gray here. And given the
<v Speaker 1>fact that Randy and Cody, in the way that that
<v Speaker 1>match was produced, left most fans feeling I don't know,
<v Speaker 1>do I cheer?

<v Speaker 1>to the last unsanctioned match, which was Kevin Owens and
<v Speaker 1>Sammy's ain I found it cheap. I don't know. I

<v Speaker 1>I give Wrestle Maana forty two to six and a
<v Speaker 1>half out of ten better than last year's. Yeah it

<v Speaker 3>WrestleMania Live from Las Vegas, Nevada, Joe Henry made an
<v Speaker 3>appearance in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. Well.
<v Speaker 3>Apparently someone said his name and he appeared. If you
<v Speaker 3>saw his appearance, you would have probably noticed a slight
<v Speaker 3>scar on Joe Henry's forehead, which he got from the
<v Speaker 3>merciless beatdown last single NXT's Revenge Week one by the
<v Speaker 3>hands of Kunagu Carver. But duing the course of the
<v Speaker 3>Battle Royal, Joe Hendry delivered a fallaway slam to Matt
<v Speaker 3>Cardona in attempt to eliminate him. Joe then delivers a
<v Speaker 3>fallaway slam to Johnny Wrestling as Joe is fired up.
<v Speaker 3>As he gets back up with his kip up the
<v Speaker 3>usual Joe Hendry spin and a smile to the camera,
<v Speaker 3>but out of nowhere, Alerster Black grabs Joe Henri and
<v Speaker 3>throws him over the ropes. Joe Hendry is eliminated. Womp, womp,
<v Speaker 3>and that's it for Joe Hendry. The Battle Royal was
<v Speaker 3>eventually won by Royce Keys, So congratulations to him. I'm
<v Speaker 3>expecting big things for him to kick off his first
<v Speaker 3>official year in WWE. But now back to Joe Hendry.
<v Speaker 3>Later that night, at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony,
<v Speaker 3>Joe Hendry made an appearance on the red carpet in
<v Speaker 3>a very nice tuxedo suit and by his side is
<v Speaker 3>his new love interest name Gia Miller, as they made
<v Speaker 3>their romantic relationship public. Gamiller is currently a backstage reporter
<v Speaker 3>for TNA. She looks absolutely stunning. Way to go, Joe,
<v Speaker 3>you definitely got a good woman. Congrats to y'all. Boat
<v Speaker 3>And I have to say this was a big surprise
<v Speaker 3>because I kind of knew that Joe Hendry and Gamilla
