[SPEAKER_01]: Today, on misunderstood with Rachel, you could tell. [SPEAKER_01]: So last time I saw you, was I single? [SPEAKER_01]: Last time I saw you, you were sworn off men. [SPEAKER_01]: You were like, bitter, you were never dating. [SPEAKER_02]: I can't get into details of what happened during the wedding, but there was a drama that should have had the cameras rolling. [SPEAKER_01]: All right, I'll stop grilling you about all your friends that I love all the TMI. [SPEAKER_02]: Well wait. [SPEAKER_01]: is David Yantiff still even podcasting. [SPEAKER_01]: Somebody said, who would you like to reconcile with? [SPEAKER_01]: You could have picked nine people that he's not talking to. [SPEAKER_01]: But they did, they did. [SPEAKER_01]: They went through the list. [SPEAKER_01]: Barbara Josephs, Kim D. Let's help him. [SPEAKER_01]: Let's help him. [SPEAKER_01]: Let's help him. [SPEAKER_01]: Let's help him. [SPEAKER_01]: Dr. Now from that show is my favorite because he'll come in and tell them how fat they are. [SPEAKER_01]: He's just kind of like, she's fat. [SPEAKER_01]: Look at her, she's wide. [SPEAKER_01]: You want her to die? [SPEAKER_01]: He was 73 when he died and he had joined a gay leather fraternity where he would go every weekend dress up in leather and get beat. [SPEAKER_01]: And then I think he was like a lector cutie his balls. [SPEAKER_02]: So, so yeah, last time we saw each other, I just heard you in George Shocking, we didn't film at all on 2025. [SPEAKER_01]: I can't even believe that Rachel, how is that possible? [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I actually know it's possible because my 2025 was such a issue. [SPEAKER_01]: It was, it was, I can't, I'm trying to think of prior to 2025, a year where I had so many highs and so many lows in one year. [SPEAKER_01]: Because usually you just have a bad year, the whole year. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Wait, so last time I saw you, was I single? [SPEAKER_01]: This is what I was saying to you starting to say. [SPEAKER_01]: Last time I saw you, you were sworn off men. [SPEAKER_01]: You were like, I think you hated men. [SPEAKER_01]: You were like bitter. [SPEAKER_01]: You were never dating. [SPEAKER_01]: There were no good men in Florida, um, it was awful, like, it was, I don't know. [SPEAKER_02]: I kind of thought you were going to join this lesbian train, and I was like, I was going to become a late and life lesbian. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes. [SPEAKER_01]: I sort of saw you cryo-returned, like, because I'm too scared of a vagina. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm not like, I'm not like that. [SPEAKER_02]: tell me everything. [SPEAKER_01]: How did you meet Dan? [SPEAKER_01]: What? [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, okay, so I met him on bumble, like four and a half years ago and the funny thing was is I was living in the hamstrings for the summer and people that have listened to my show probably know this already, so I'm boring them, but I'll say it very quickly for you. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, um, he was there. [SPEAKER_02]: He lives in Florida, but he was in the Hampton's doing Michael Rubin's white party, which is a very famous party and all this celebrity's good to it. [SPEAKER_02]: And they had hired him to essentially do all the security for it. [SPEAKER_02]: And so I called, uh, he called me. [SPEAKER_02]: I spoke him with this nice conversation. [SPEAKER_02]: I hung up the phone. [SPEAKER_02]: I was like, [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, he's so nice, but I don't date the security guard. [SPEAKER_02]: I date the guy who owns the runs of the party. [SPEAKER_02]: So I just didn't, I was like, whatever. [SPEAKER_02]: And then a couple years later, I moved to Florida. [SPEAKER_02]: He keeps asking me out, like, you know, whatever. [SPEAKER_02]: Long story short, I finally go out with him. [SPEAKER_02]: And I realized he was very alpha. [SPEAKER_02]: I realized he was not a security guard. [SPEAKER_02]: He owns four massive security companies that do, you know, weapons detection and all that, you know, the major stuff for like Olympic Super Bowl, Formula One, Google, Oracle, whatever. [SPEAKER_02]: And all over the world, too. [SPEAKER_02]: So since he's been with me, he started another two companies, which by the way, one of the guys that is a CEO, one of his companies, and runs another one, is somebody I had on my show, and that's how he met him, and so he got into the, [SPEAKER_02]: the dog, the canine for explosive detection, weapons detection. [SPEAKER_02]: You got into that business so he has one business that trains the handlers on the dogs and he has another business that deploys them to all the events or schools or wherever. [SPEAKER_02]: That kind of heck. [SPEAKER_02]: So anyway, so here we are. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm Mrs. Donovan now. [SPEAKER_02]: Nice to meet you. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, she's such a proper Irish woman now. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm so, I love it. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, okay, excuse me, you could tell you now, like, a Donovan Irish. [SPEAKER_01]: She's such a, like, handsome Irish guy. [SPEAKER_01]: And he's tall, right? [SPEAKER_02]: He looks like, he's six four. [SPEAKER_02]: His daughter is six four. [SPEAKER_02]: His son is six six. [SPEAKER_02]: And his daughter just got married to someone who is, I'm sorry, his son is six seven. [SPEAKER_02]: And the son and law is six six. [SPEAKER_02]: So I look like a little mini mouse compared to all of them. [SPEAKER_01]: How's blended family life going. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that's so good. [SPEAKER_02]: Like I love his daughter just got married like three months before we got married, and then she had a baby the month before we got Before we got married. [SPEAKER_02]: So I am now a step step grandmother and my name I named myself because I didn't want to be granny. [SPEAKER_02]: My name is Jaja [SPEAKER_02]: Jaja. [SPEAKER_02]: All right. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Jaja. [SPEAKER_02]: Mm-hmm. [SPEAKER_02]: Because I'm the fancy grandmother. [SPEAKER_01]: How's your daughter taking it? [SPEAKER_01]: Like, did you? [SPEAKER_01]: Because I'm assuming your daughter, you guys are all living together, right? [SPEAKER_01]: The three of you? [SPEAKER_02]: Yes. [SPEAKER_02]: He lives with my me and my daughter and my three dogs, yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: And his kids are older. [SPEAKER_02]: So they're not here. [SPEAKER_02]: They're in their 20s. [SPEAKER_02]: But um. [SPEAKER_02]: She, at first, you know, she felt like her turn eye and she's 13 and it's a tough age anyways, and he's the greatest kind of family man. [SPEAKER_02]: So it took a while for her to like be all on board. [SPEAKER_02]: And he had to be like, love you, why it? [SPEAKER_02]: And then she'd be like, uh-huh. [SPEAKER_02]: And now like, you know, we go, [SPEAKER_02]: Listen, we're at her volleyball tournaments every weekend, we're at practice Tuesdays and Thursdays, 630 to 9 o'clock at night. [SPEAKER_02]: He's there for every practice. [SPEAKER_02]: He's coaching her. [SPEAKER_02]: He's, you know, every night. [SPEAKER_02]: They're last night. [SPEAKER_02]: They cooked dinner together like they're two peas two peas in a pod and the greatest joy of his life is being a stepfather. [SPEAKER_02]: He's super cool as a stepfather, like having a teenager again. [SPEAKER_02]: So he's all in, which is awesome. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, this is amazing. [SPEAKER_01]: How are your ex taking is your ex. [SPEAKER_01]: How's been taking this well or is here? [SPEAKER_02]: Good friends. [SPEAKER_02]: So that. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yep. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yep. [SPEAKER_01]: Wow. [SPEAKER_01]: This is very Brady Bunch. [SPEAKER_02]: I know it is Brady Bunch because he just had a baby like a year ago and so, you know, whatever, and I haven't gotten along with them for a very long time. [SPEAKER_02]: So anyways, it's made it all very nice and. [SPEAKER_02]: You know, now hopefully things will be a little more boring because in the course of a year I got engaged. [SPEAKER_02]: I, you know, got this blended family that we had to go to his daughter's wedding. [SPEAKER_02]: She had a baby. [SPEAKER_02]: We did a whole home renovation. [SPEAKER_02]: My pipe burst in my house and we had to basically, you know, do like $700,000. [SPEAKER_02]: Like a lot of it was insurance money. [SPEAKER_02]: of totally renovating the house, the outside because we decided to have a wedding here. [SPEAKER_02]: Everything that could have gone wrong went wrong. [SPEAKER_02]: And up until the day before the wedding, we flew in Tim's story, who's a very famous life coach and come back coach, who is a very close person to me. [SPEAKER_02]: He was walking me down the aisle and the officiant. [SPEAKER_02]: And he calls, he lands, he calls and says, I can't make it to the rehearsal. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm projectile vomiting. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if I can make it at all. [SPEAKER_02]: And so we're just like, who's going to walk me down the aisle? [SPEAKER_02]: Who's going to be the officiant at the wedding? [SPEAKER_02]: Like all these crazy things went on. [SPEAKER_02]: But anyway, I hope you saw the pictures. [SPEAKER_02]: They look great. [SPEAKER_02]: People magazine did cover it exclusively, which is really nice. [SPEAKER_02]: And we ended up our first dance was, you know, the time of our lives. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, you're really active. [SPEAKER_01]: I did dirty dancing. [SPEAKER_01]: That was so impressive. [SPEAKER_01]: Yep. [SPEAKER_01]: And we dance got good balance and we really nailed it. [SPEAKER_02]: I got up there. [SPEAKER_02]: So I was like, you know, eight feet in the air by the time I was up over his head. [SPEAKER_02]: And it was, it was scary, but it was so fun. [SPEAKER_02]: It was like such a moment. [SPEAKER_02]: I can't believe that wedding was at your house. [SPEAKER_01]: That is, I almost did that. [SPEAKER_01]: And then when you start, it's such a pain. [SPEAKER_02]: Like, you're my god. [SPEAKER_02]: I was like, oh, well, it will save money because we'll decorate that house all night. [SPEAKER_02]: No, we could have had a wedding in a castle in Europe and brought everyone with us, and I would have been less expensive. [SPEAKER_02]: So anyway, whatever, but it was beautiful. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, enough about me. [SPEAKER_01]: It's a really lovely and so many more things I want to ask you. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, go ahead. [SPEAKER_01]: Go ahead. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I mean, you don't obsess with Heather McDonald. [SPEAKER_01]: I love juicy scoop. [SPEAKER_01]: Who else was there? [SPEAKER_01]: Any other influencers that we love at the wedding? [SPEAKER_01]: Because if you were to 100 people or how many was 140, let's say. [SPEAKER_01]: That's not bad. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: A couple. [SPEAKER_02]: A couple. [SPEAKER_02]: People had to cancel the last minute. [SPEAKER_02]: Dr. Drew canceled at the last minute. [SPEAKER_02]: He was going to come Rudy Giuliani canceled at the last minute, but he did send me a video saying we only reason and the only person that would stop him from making it to my wedding was the president of the United States and President Trump had requested him at his New Year's Eve party. [SPEAKER_02]: So he had to go. [SPEAKER_02]: So it was very cute. [SPEAKER_02]: But let's see. [SPEAKER_02]: So I had Heather McDonald there. [SPEAKER_02]: I had Jill Zaryn. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: I was there. [SPEAKER_02]: I had Bam Marjera who was on jackass. [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, yes, yes. [SPEAKER_02]: And I have a wife who I'm very close with and I love and it's my birthday and two weeks. [SPEAKER_02]: They're actually going to come to my birthday party as well. [SPEAKER_02]: So I've become close to them. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we had so many random people. [SPEAKER_02]: I had the, so I don't know if you saw the news. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know how much New York news you saw, but the fire commissioner stepped down and had been now a new person had come in and it was a lesbian who had never been a fireman and everybody was, it was all this news where all the fire commissioner that had stepped down was actually at our wedding. [SPEAKER_02]: I had, a lot of these people I became friends with because I interviewed them for the show. [SPEAKER_02]: So he came, so that was fun to have him there. [SPEAKER_02]: You know, a couple of famous journalists like Dylan Radigan who was on CNBC and people you may or may not know. [SPEAKER_01]: But anyway, how is Jill Zaryn's face left in real life? [SPEAKER_02]: Well, I mean, I've seen her a couple of times. [SPEAKER_02]: She looks great. [SPEAKER_02]: She looks fantastic to me. [SPEAKER_02]: It looks so good. [SPEAKER_02]: And Heather, I don't know if she had a face lift or not, but looks amazing. [SPEAKER_01]: No, I was gonna say the same thing. [SPEAKER_01]: Heather, I need to call Heather and find out what she's doing because Heather is aging in reverse. [SPEAKER_01]: She looks a mate her body. [SPEAKER_01]: Something I feel like she did. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if Heather discloses her... [SPEAKER_01]: two weeks, but she looks so good these days. [SPEAKER_01]: She looks so good. [SPEAKER_01]: Jill Zaryn's face lift is one of the best and of course Chris Jenner's, like, I need that code word. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, I don't think Chris Jenner's looks so good in real life. [SPEAKER_02]: That's what I've heard. [SPEAKER_01]: I did see that one red carpet shot where people were saying, okay, yeah, like a lot of it, you know, yes, the facelift looks good because she's 71 or something, 72, but overall, like it's not like it was this miracle. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I heard that too. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, you know who I have on my show in two weeks is Trish McAvoy. [SPEAKER_02]: And do you know, she's like in her 70s and she literally looks like she's 40. [SPEAKER_02]: Have you ever looked her up? [SPEAKER_02]: I didn't even know what she looked like. [SPEAKER_02]: She looked up as she make up. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Trish McAvoy, the iconic. [SPEAKER_02]: It's like Bobby Brown, Trish McAvoy, you know, whatever, this woman looks like she's our age in between my age and your age. [SPEAKER_02]: I think you're younger than me, obviously. [SPEAKER_02]: And she, how good does she look for someone in her 70s? [SPEAKER_02]: So I can't wait to ask her. [SPEAKER_02]: Are you freaking kidding? [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, you know who else I had at the wedding. [SPEAKER_02]: Anna can carols. [SPEAKER_02]: Can corals. [SPEAKER_02]: Whatever from housewives of Miami. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, you can co-says together exactly. [SPEAKER_02]: Whatever. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't have the accent. [SPEAKER_02]: What if I told you that the idea that you only get parasites when you travel to some exotic country is flat wrong? [SPEAKER_02]: Millions of Americans carry parasites right now, often without symptoms. [SPEAKER_02]: For example, it's estimated that millions in the United States have been exposed to toxicara, a parasitic worm, yet most never even know it. [SPEAKER_02]: Paracites do not need a plain ticket. [SPEAKER_02]: They can enter through tap water, sushi, under cooked foods, or contaminated produce. [SPEAKER_02]: Some strains live in all stages. [SPEAKER_02]: Eggs, larva, adults, hidden in your gut, releasing toxins that sabotage your energy and digestion. [SPEAKER_02]: That's why I'm excited about Parify. [SPEAKER_02]: Kim Rogers, 30-day full spectrum parasite cleanse. [SPEAKER_02]: The kit works by clearing parasites, worms, Candida, and heavy metals. [SPEAKER_02]: Targeting parasites in all life stages, supporting gut health, detox pathways, and toxin removal. [SPEAKER_02]: It's taken orally daily for 30 days with precise dosing. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm actually doing it myself right now. [SPEAKER_02]: I started with the lymph cleanse, then I'm doing the paraffi. [SPEAKER_02]: Want to dive deep? [SPEAKER_02]: I did a full interview with Kim Rogers, the warm queen herself, where we expose all the myths, understand the facts, and show how to protect your body. [SPEAKER_02]: Listen to that episode if you haven't already. [SPEAKER_02]: Meanwhile, go to Rogershood.com and use the code Rachel to get 10% off of your order. [SPEAKER_02]: That's RACAGL for 10% off. [SPEAKER_02]: Give it a try. [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe your body's missing link is hiding inside. [SPEAKER_02]: Let's do this together. [SPEAKER_02]: Again, it's Rogershood.com, R-O-G-E-R-S-H-O-D.com and use the code Rachel for 10% off. [SPEAKER_02]: And Kelly, Rick Leventhal was there, obviously Kelly has been Kelly. [SPEAKER_01]: Dodd was there. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, sorry for that. [SPEAKER_02]: Kelly Dodd. [SPEAKER_01]: What's going on with her daughter? [SPEAKER_01]: Is there any hope? [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, Kelly loves her daughter, and I think she definitely is just waiting for her daughter to start talking to her again. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I don't want to get involved in all that, but Kelly, listen, I know I know I'm putting you on the phone. [SPEAKER_02]: I know that people think a lot about Kelly, sometimes she could be a lot, she says what she thinks. [SPEAKER_02]: But, you know, I can't get into details of what happened this during the wedding, but there was a drama that should have had, we should have had the cameras rolling. [SPEAKER_02]: and a whole apology had to happen and it was a whole thing and but you know that's just part of the course of Kelly and she you know sometimes puts her foot in her mouth but think that I'm not on her bad side. [SPEAKER_02]: I listen I like it. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't talk to her about politics. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't talk bad about people with her. [SPEAKER_02]: We just have a fun friendship and I like her and I enjoy her and her and by the way one of the most you know the [SPEAKER_02]: One of the people that struck my husband the most, he came out to me later and was like, you know, Rick Leventhal has told me so many times how honored he is to be here and how appreciative and because we set up a whole week, like three days for people, we had our boat captain take everybody out on the boat ride, we had a welcome dinner at the breakers and like so a lot of people got to know each other ahead of time. [SPEAKER_02]: So it was like more of a fun instrument wedding. [SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, you know, it was great. [SPEAKER_01]: All right, I'll stop grilling you about all your friends [SPEAKER_02]: No, well wait, speaking of friends or ex friends are you still I don't know if maybe he's blocked me for every that for everything, but is David Yantiff still even podcasting [SPEAKER_01]: We're still podcasting. [SPEAKER_02]: We're still reading it together. [SPEAKER_01]: Still, you know, we only do it twice. [SPEAKER_01]: We do two shows two, sometimes three shows a week. [SPEAKER_01]: And then he has his show and I have mine. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: I wonder who it at three times a week. [SPEAKER_01]: We usually record two episodes. [SPEAKER_01]: We've been doing that for four years now. [SPEAKER_01]: We do a pod trade every week. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I did not. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, like two episodes. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: He's still around. [SPEAKER_01]: He's still kicking. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay. [SPEAKER_02]: So he must have blocked me from everything because I didn't even know he wasn't business. [SPEAKER_02]: I've never, I never see one post about him. [SPEAKER_01]: I've recently said something about reconciling. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, what we did virtual live podcast and somebody said, who would you like to reconcile with between, I think. [SPEAKER_01]: You could have picked nine people that he's not talking to, but okay, they did. [SPEAKER_01]: They did. [SPEAKER_01]: They went through the list. [SPEAKER_01]: Margaret Joseph's. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, you. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, who else? [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, Kim, um, D. Anyway, they did the list. [SPEAKER_01]: He died. [SPEAKER_01]: No, they died all and he said you. [SPEAKER_01]: So he said he'd most likely like to reconcile with you. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm more honored, the fact that I was in a list of people that are actually famous people. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, yeah, and Anna can co-says. [SPEAKER_01]: He and Anna, they were co-hosting a podcast, and then they had a falling out. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so everyone basically that was at my wedding. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how I always say to David and actually it's so bad. [SPEAKER_01]: I've been this year has been so crazy. [SPEAKER_01]: I've been the worst co-host. [SPEAKER_01]: So I, I can't heal. [SPEAKER_02]: Why do you think you've been a bad co-host? [SPEAKER_01]: Well, okay, we do these virtual live podcasts. [SPEAKER_01]: Probably like three times a year. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't even, he promotes like all the ticket sales. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't even promote. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm too busy to promote. [SPEAKER_01]: I've so many people show up for that. [SPEAKER_02]: Anywhere from like 50 to 70. [SPEAKER_02]: No, it's a way. [SPEAKER_02]: And they're all in your like zoom. [SPEAKER_02]: Is that how it happened? [SPEAKER_01]: You should do it. [SPEAKER_02]: And they ask you questions about what? [SPEAKER_01]: So we withhold like a lot of the personal stuff, right? [SPEAKER_01]: Like the where his relationship stands with you or with Anna or wherever. [SPEAKER_01]: We kind of like save all that. [SPEAKER_01]: And you know, he and Kelly had some beef too. [SPEAKER_01]: Like maybe in the fall. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm trying to think of what happened. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, they did any how Rick and Kelly, you know, they said something about David on their podcast, David said something about blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: So any how we save all that. [SPEAKER_01]: So people come on for $30, everybody gets to ask one question. [SPEAKER_01]: They can ask anything as messy as they want. [SPEAKER_01]: We have to answer. [SPEAKER_02]: Do they get the mic or they have to type it in the chat? [SPEAKER_01]: no they get the mic so so we usually go based on every time we do something different alphabetical by first name alphabetical by last name something like that some people don't want to ask a question they just want to hear the T and then everybody else wants to hear either T or they want like David's insight on bravo stuff or they'll ask me about sister wives or they'll ask about personal things yeah I got it okay fun I love it so you have not had a falling out with him yet ever [SPEAKER_01]: I guess I'm the only one. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm on this island and I don't know what to say to people. [SPEAKER_01]: I know. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what to say to people. [SPEAKER_01]: I know. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what to say to people. [SPEAKER_01]: I know. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what to say to people. [SPEAKER_01]: I know. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what to say to people. [SPEAKER_01]: I know. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what to say to people. [SPEAKER_01]: I know. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what to say to people. [SPEAKER_01]: I know. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what to say to people. [SPEAKER_01]: I know. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what to say to people. [SPEAKER_01]: I know. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what to say to people. [SPEAKER_01]: I know. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what to say to people. [SPEAKER_01]: I know. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what to say to people. [SPEAKER_01]: I know. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what to say to people. [SPEAKER_01]: I know. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what to say to people. [SPEAKER_01]: I know. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what to say to people. [SPEAKER_01]: I know. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what to say to people. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know [SPEAKER_02]: Because the problem was, as I used to call him every morning on my drive back after I dropped off my daughter, it would be eight, 15 on the dot because you'd get out of the car. [SPEAKER_02]: And then I'd hit send on my phone and I'd call him and I'd be like, what do you do it? [SPEAKER_02]: And we just like talk about nothing. [SPEAKER_02]: And then he'd be like, I'm busy. [SPEAKER_02]: Stop bothering me. [SPEAKER_02]: You know, like, that's how our day would go. [SPEAKER_02]: And I'd be like, how are you busy? [SPEAKER_02]: It's only eight, 15 in the morning. [SPEAKER_02]: You know, so anyways, all right, let's move on from David. [SPEAKER_01]: I look like crap. [SPEAKER_01]: I need the first of all. [SPEAKER_02]: It's so tight because your face is well, you're pregnant. [SPEAKER_02]: How are you eight months pregnant? [SPEAKER_01]: Eight months girl 33 weeks. [SPEAKER_02]: Wow, but you look great, but your face is filled out a little bit so it looks like you it looks like you got a face left because you're all nice and taught and your lips look like you got filler you look fucking sick like you should really yeah you couldn't if you didn't show me your belly. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, well, that's good. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, maybe it is all the hormones. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, that's good. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, my year went like this. [SPEAKER_01]: So last January, I started my year. [SPEAKER_01]: My favorite gunkle died of massive heart attack at the Met in New York. [SPEAKER_01]: My brother and I are his executors and when I tell you there has been for the love of God, will you and Dan please do a trust? [SPEAKER_01]: We have, yeah, get a lawyer to be your executive or, and, like, make it so clear about who's getting what it's been. [SPEAKER_01]: A nightmare beyond a nightmare. [SPEAKER_01]: Why? [SPEAKER_02]: Because all these people came out of the woodwork and want something? [SPEAKER_02]: Well, he has no money. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: So he promised all these people money. [SPEAKER_01]: Told them that. [SPEAKER_01]: They're calling us. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, doll, he doesn't have two nickels to rub together. [SPEAKER_01]: But he looked like he lived this lavish lifestyle. [SPEAKER_01]: And so, and, basically, from the moment the person dies, you're on the hook, with the hospital, they're like, well, you can't leave his body here. [SPEAKER_01]: We're really sorry. [SPEAKER_01]: We're sending you condolences. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, by the way, what do you want to do with this body? [SPEAKER_01]: It needs to be moved out of here in like 72 hours. [SPEAKER_01]: You're like, okay, so then I'm paying, you know, [SPEAKER_01]: It was so crazy and he is a character who I need to do a podcast series on because he wanted to come on the podcast. [SPEAKER_01]: He was 73 when he died and he had joined a gay leather fraternity and it was living his best life in a gay leather New Jersey fraternity where he would go every weekend, dress up and leather and get beat. [SPEAKER_01]: And what, then yeah, oh, do you think that's something to do with why you had a hard [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, 100% I think he was living in extreme life at 73. [SPEAKER_01]: Wow, I love that. [SPEAKER_01]: Wait, did he only come out as being gay late in life? [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, no, gay the whole time. [SPEAKER_01]: He was married to my biological uncle for 40 years. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, but I got it. [SPEAKER_01]: And my bio uncle passed away seven years ago and then it was like he went completely off the rails. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, right. [SPEAKER_01]: He might uncle kept him on track, joined a K-Leader fraternity was going out every weekend, addressing up in Leader, getting beat, had the Leader name forward. [SPEAKER_01]: You mean getting beat? [SPEAKER_01]: How do you know he was getting beat? [SPEAKER_01]: He wouldn't call me and tell me the stories. [SPEAKER_01]: They like tie each other up and whip each other for a lot of sex. [SPEAKER_01]: I know. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, doesn't this, and then I think he was like electrocuting his balls. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, oh, isn't this hurt? [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, what are you doing at 73? [SPEAKER_01]: He was living his best life. [SPEAKER_01]: But he was at the Met as in the museum, the Metropolitan Opera. [SPEAKER_01]: He died in the parking lot of the Metropolitan Opera before after. [SPEAKER_01]: the after, which I do feel like what's so eerie is life is sometimes really full circle. [SPEAKER_01]: The very first date he and my uncle went on and then they were together for like 40 years was at the mat was at the opera and he died I know and then he died there. [SPEAKER_01]: He was he was what's up was he by himself? [SPEAKER_02]: No he was with his like new boyfriend okay so he got to see an opera and he got to go out on top [SPEAKER_01]: He really didn't know. [SPEAKER_02]: And I know, no pun intended. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, this is great. [SPEAKER_02]: Like, emergency doctor told me. [SPEAKER_01]: He's like, I'm really sorry. [SPEAKER_01]: And I feel so terrible for you. [SPEAKER_01]: But he's like, this is the best way to die. [SPEAKER_01]: He's like, he was probably dead in five minutes. [SPEAKER_01]: And there was no resuscitating unless an ambulance was like right there. [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, well, God rest his soul. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm so sorry. [SPEAKER_02]: And then you had been trying to get pregnant for ages, right? [SPEAKER_01]: Um, it's been okay. [SPEAKER_01]: So my son is four. [SPEAKER_01]: And I had him at 39. [SPEAKER_01]: So from essentially 40 to now I'm 43. [SPEAKER_01]: It's been three years. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I was trying to get pregnant. [SPEAKER_01]: And in that time frame, three pregnancies, three miscarriages, including my uncle died. [SPEAKER_01]: I found out I was pregnant. [SPEAKER_01]: A couple weeks later, I miscarried. [SPEAKER_01]: Then one of my favorite cousins, [SPEAKER_01]: committed suicide. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm telling you it was like a wild wild year. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm sorry. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, it was and I never knew anyone personally who took their own lives. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, I knew somebody through somebody. [SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no one like close where they somebody who you felt like had a lot of issues. [SPEAKER_01]: No, that was the scariest part. [SPEAKER_01]: I had to go to my therapist to try to understand it because she was a woman that was so put together. [SPEAKER_01]: Here, always done, make up, always done, high findings, job, married, two group daughters, up the daughters were like our 19 and 21. [SPEAKER_02]: And we're sure it was suicide. [SPEAKER_02]: It wasn't an accidental. [SPEAKER_01]: No, she left a note. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it was really terrible. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, God. [SPEAKER_01]: I know, it was really, it's been really, really hard. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, then I had a miscarriage. [SPEAKER_02]: Then I, you know, every time you were getting pregnant these last times was it natural or you were doing IVF? [SPEAKER_01]: No, all natural, but I had chromosome issues. [SPEAKER_01]: So this last baby was down syndrome and turner syndrome and miscarried at nine weeks. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes. [SPEAKER_01]: So my, I have to talk to her was like, look, whatever you believe in, you want to thank the lucky stars. [SPEAKER_01]: The down syndrome you could have dealt with, but turner syndrome, like most children do not live to teenage. [SPEAKER_01]: It's so... [SPEAKER_02]: I asked for a little technique. [SPEAKER_02]: If you had found out that whole thing, what would you have done? [SPEAKER_02]: No. [SPEAKER_01]: No, I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: I kept praying. [SPEAKER_01]: I was like, don't. [SPEAKER_01]: I just, I don't want to make that much noise. [SPEAKER_01]: All right. [SPEAKER_01]: I wanted to engage for you. [SPEAKER_01]: And the free pregnancy I've ever had, I've always said to God, don't make me, like, don't, I don't want to decide. [SPEAKER_01]: Don't put me in that position. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, if this baby is healthy and meant to be let it be. [SPEAKER_01]: And if it's not, like, then it's not. [SPEAKER_01]: So, and I've had, I've had like everything, molar pregnancy, which is one two sperm fertilizer is one egg. [SPEAKER_01]: Baby can't live. [SPEAKER_01]: I've had, um, let's see what else. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so turner syndrome, down syndrome. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm a, you're about to try some of them. [SPEAKER_01]: I had a try some of you nine, I had a try some of you nine miscarriage, which is the, the ninth chromosome is missing. [SPEAKER_01]: Also very hard for a baby to live. [SPEAKER_02]: Wait, say it again, which would have met what like it doesn't develop. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I think like severe deformities. [SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean, but it doesn't develop right the this time. [SPEAKER_02]: It's taken and but you did this IVF, correct? [SPEAKER_01]: I did egg donor. [SPEAKER_01]: It's on my egg because [SPEAKER_01]: Basically, I'm a person where, like, I've gone to, I don't know, to a three different experts or whatever and they were like, look, it's just your age, you know, you all girl, you should have been doing IVF back when you were 30 and these eggs and you could spend all the money you want on IVF but once you hit 42 IVF is very hard for it to work, you only have about a 20% chance. [SPEAKER_01]: of an actually working. [SPEAKER_02]: Do you pick the egg? [SPEAKER_02]: Do you pick the edicts or whatever the characteristics of this person? [SPEAKER_02]: Did you get to write this in? [SPEAKER_01]: You don't meet them. [SPEAKER_01]: You don't know their name. [SPEAKER_01]: You don't know where they live. [SPEAKER_01]: They can only be a donor. [SPEAKER_01]: I believe three times in their lifetime. [SPEAKER_01]: And we bought eight eggs, love to the woman, most of the women that donate their eggs either work in fertility, so they've seen women struggle, or they have like sisters that have worked. [SPEAKER_01]: They usually adjacent to the fertility world, or I think my girl was really honest, and she wanted to pay per way through college. [SPEAKER_01]: Got it. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, you make like 15k. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh wow. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: Per like retrieval. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: So she did it and she already had two of her own kids. [SPEAKER_01]: So she was like, I have two of my own babies. [SPEAKER_01]: I really want to do this. [SPEAKER_01]: I really want to pay off my college loans. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, I appreciate the honesty. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay. [SPEAKER_02]: So you got eight and one took or you have the others frozen right now. [SPEAKER_01]: No, do you know only one made it to blast and one in that one took none of the [SPEAKER_02]: And so what does this mean? [SPEAKER_02]: This means that did you do all the testing and find out everything that was going on and it's all good and we're good to go. [SPEAKER_01]: Good to go. [SPEAKER_01]: So she had to have genetic testing anyway and then my husband and so they could not be crossover carriers of anything, which they weren't. [SPEAKER_01]: And then we actually didn't do PGT testing because they usually say like with a donor under the age of 30, their chances [SPEAKER_01]: smaller than, you know, myself, like, obviously doing it on my arm. [SPEAKER_01]: So we did like an IPT test at 11, 10, 11 weeks, all was good there. [SPEAKER_01]: I went for the high risks on a gram anatomy scan. [SPEAKER_01]: Everything was good. [SPEAKER_01]: I went for a fetal echocardiogram. [SPEAKER_01]: Baby's heart was awesome. [SPEAKER_01]: So here we are. [SPEAKER_01]: Baby's almost four pounds. [SPEAKER_01]: When's the due date? [SPEAKER_02]: So excited. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, I'm so excited. [SPEAKER_02]: Don't wait. [SPEAKER_02]: Do we know what it is? [SPEAKER_01]: No, we're going to be surprised. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god, one of the last really big surprises of a lifetime. [SPEAKER_02]: That is exciting. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I went to my OBGYN this week and I told him, I'm like, I kind of, I'm doing having a little baby shower first of February and I'm like, I kind of want to know. [SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, absolutely not. [SPEAKER_01]: He's like, you've come this far. [SPEAKER_01]: You will have to drag this out of me. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not telling you. [SPEAKER_02]: But it's kind of fun to have a baby reveal. [SPEAKER_02]: I always watch those on Instagram and I think they're really fun. [SPEAKER_01]: Me too, like, boy or girl? [SPEAKER_01]: I know, I'm going to do a big baby reveal. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: All right. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, it'll be a baby we're going to actually come out of your body. [SPEAKER_02]: So you should have the doctor have like, you know, different colored confetti. [SPEAKER_02]: And then, you know, behind the blanket, they could just throw the color of the confetti on you. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, maybe I'll tell him to do that. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: I think you'll love that. [SPEAKER_01]: He keeps telling me I'm going to put a diaper on the child. [SPEAKER_01]: So you have to wait even longer. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, don't do it to me. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, you better tell me. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm beatily. [SPEAKER_01]: My OB is really fun. [SPEAKER_01]: He's like super chill. [SPEAKER_02]: Very [SPEAKER_02]: I'm so excited for you and I wish you the best of luck with you. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm loving you. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm so excited. [SPEAKER_02]: All right. [SPEAKER_02]: So let's get to, you know, we've done crossover shows a bunch. [SPEAKER_02]: People love our chemistry. [SPEAKER_02]: I think we always talk about like pop culture and stuff. [SPEAKER_02]: I want to do. [SPEAKER_02]: a little bit of, I want to hear what you're covering and all that because I feel like you're so deep into sister wives and sisters of sisters of sisters of wives and all these shots. [SPEAKER_02]: So I want to hear like what your, what your niche is now. [SPEAKER_02]: But like I kind of want to hear, I don't know, I mean, I'm sure people on your show know, but I want to hear a little bit about how you got into this because I know you have a background in broadcasting a radio or whatever. [SPEAKER_02]: And I want people to like kind of hear how you got into this from, you know, what did you want to be when you were a little on? [SPEAKER_02]: I've never known this about you. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, well, I've always wanted to be a talk show host. [SPEAKER_01]: So I feel like I'm doing it in my own version. [SPEAKER_01]: The podcast, you know, TSFS is still very [SPEAKER_01]: Like you were saying, Sister Wives, Sister Wives is still my number one probably most downloaded episodes, which for people who haven't watched it, but maybe heard about it is essentially a family where Cody Brown was the patriarch and he had four wives. [SPEAKER_01]: They moved around from Las Vegas to Utah because polygamy is still illegal in this country, but nobody really gets prosecuted for it. [SPEAKER_01]: But you can only marry one person at a time, right? [SPEAKER_01]: Anyhow, two years, probably about three years ago now, three of his wives all left him. [SPEAKER_01]: They were done and he declared his love for one wife Robin. [SPEAKER_01]: And so these past three seasons, 18, 1920 have really been the dissolving of this family that has been on reality television since 2010. [SPEAKER_01]: obsessed with the show. [SPEAKER_01]: It's so bizarre. [SPEAKER_01]: Then from that TLC has launched a show called Seeking Sister Wife, which is about guys who want to be Cody Brown and are searching for multiple wives. [SPEAKER_01]: Epic. [SPEAKER_01]: Then, um, welcome to Plathville's another one that's big. [SPEAKER_01]: These are very niche shows, but it's just, I don't know, it's gotten my podcast like a cult following. [SPEAKER_01]: So, the welcome to Plathville one is about a family in Cairo, Georgia, Uber, Religious, um, all their kids are all early like teens, twenties, [SPEAKER_01]: And in 2018, 2019, they never gave their kids, the kids didn't even know cell phones existed. [SPEAKER_01]: They had no idea who Tom Brady was. [SPEAKER_01]: They'd never drank a Coca-Cola. [SPEAKER_01]: And so TLC films them for the first time. [SPEAKER_01]: And this family has gone bananas. [SPEAKER_01]: It's like Irish, I mean, it's like an Amish Rumspringer. [SPEAKER_01]: They've got the mom that arrested for DUI. [SPEAKER_01]: The parents got divorced. [SPEAKER_01]: What did all this sons got divorced? [SPEAKER_01]: His wife has come out and said that he was verbally abusive towards her. [SPEAKER_02]: It's all on TLC. [SPEAKER_02]: There's this the same network that did Mama June and yes, hold down. [SPEAKER_02]: What are they called? [SPEAKER_02]: Hill, they've done kids name honey boobo honey boobo. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I feel like it's this kind of not to be rude trailer trash type of stuff where they turn these people into stars and then all of a sudden they like crash and burn. [SPEAKER_01]: There's some of that. [SPEAKER_01]: There's the thousand pound sisters, my 600 pound life. [SPEAKER_01]: Who, by the way, I love. [SPEAKER_01]: I've, you know, I watched a lot of that. [SPEAKER_02]: I was obsessed. [SPEAKER_02]: I never understood those people. [SPEAKER_02]: Like, did you see the one where a crane had to like knock down part of the house so they could get the girl out so she could go to the hospital? [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: I would be sitting there with my tub of ice cream, watch again being like holy shit, the sucks. [SPEAKER_02]: Like they lifted up one lady's fat roll and there was like a leftover hamburger or something in there and it had gotten all messed up. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, does that shit really happen? [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, come on. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, we just, yes, a hundred percent. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes. [SPEAKER_01]: And Dr. Now from that show is my favorite because he'll come in and tell them how fat they are, and they gain weight and he has like an accent. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if he's Armenian, but he or maybe he belongs. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he's very funny because he has no, you know, he's very, he doesn't make any facial expressions. [SPEAKER_02]: So he's not funny. [SPEAKER_02]: You know what I mean? [SPEAKER_02]: And he's very dry. [SPEAKER_02]: Right, dry. [SPEAKER_02]: And you're he's not even [SPEAKER_02]: you need to lose another 145 pounds or you will die and maybe yeah or you will die and then maybe I will work on taking your stomach out and then we have to deal with all the fat hanging from you and that's not my problem. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, it's so good. [SPEAKER_01]: And then the 600 pound life person comes in. [SPEAKER_01]: And of course, they're their sister, they're spouse, that's the enabler, that goes and gets them all the food. [SPEAKER_01]: And he will say to them, you know, why are you buying her pizza? [SPEAKER_01]: And the per, well, she really wanted it. [SPEAKER_01]: No, I don't care. [SPEAKER_01]: She's fat. [SPEAKER_01]: Look at her. [SPEAKER_01]: She's wide. [SPEAKER_01]: You want her to die? [SPEAKER_01]: And then the woman, the 600 pound life person will start crying and say, I only drank water. [SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, water. [SPEAKER_02]: There's no way, when is water ever caused somebody to gain weight, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, you're fat, [SPEAKER_01]: No, is it good? [SPEAKER_01]: I have so many shows. [SPEAKER_01]: I just started Shaz, the Shaz reboot. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm watching suddenly Amish, which is on TLC, which is basically the Amish community for the first time is trying to recruit like normal people like us to come into the Irish the Amish community. [SPEAKER_01]: I would do that in two seconds. [SPEAKER_01]: Read. [SPEAKER_02]: They should do franchise shows of that. [SPEAKER_02]: They should do. [SPEAKER_02]: What is it called? [SPEAKER_02]: Becoming honest. [SPEAKER_02]: Suddenly on mesh. [SPEAKER_02]: How about, yeah, suddenly on mesh. [SPEAKER_02]: Suddenly, um, Scientology, Scientologist. [SPEAKER_01]: I want to go work in the sea org. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: You're right. [SPEAKER_01]: And I wanted to audit. [SPEAKER_01]: I want to free audit. [SPEAKER_02]: I want to go in there and see if they could change me. [SPEAKER_02]: Like how funny would that show be? [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, you went in there and they're we're both [SPEAKER_02]: And clearly, I wouldn't be able to be changed, but you want an audit. [SPEAKER_02]: So all of a sudden, you'd come out and you'd be like, oh, I believe in this. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to move here. [SPEAKER_02]: I believe my husband and my two children, and I'm going to come work for the C.org. [SPEAKER_02]: That's going to happen now. [SPEAKER_01]: I would go to the Hollywood Scientology one, the famous one, and I would tell them this, I would donate a hundred grand. [SPEAKER_01]: If they can make me famous, like Tom Cruise, I would give them a hundred thousand dollars, because that's their whole thing. [SPEAKER_01]: They audit you, and they charge you like a hundred grand for every level, it's like, no, you make me, even Leah Remney famous. [SPEAKER_01]: You make me Leah famous, I will give you, I will be part of C-org, and I will give you a [SPEAKER_01]: I will give you a hundred grand. [SPEAKER_02]: But they call wearing Harvey Weinstein. [SPEAKER_02]: Isn't that kind of just another version of that? [SPEAKER_02]: I will sleep with you if you make me very famous. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but like yeah, but maybe never okay. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I probably would have slept with Harvey Weinstein to be famous back in the day. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, yeah, you know, that defiantology is the Harvey Weinstein of Hollywood. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it just is what it is because apparently they do make you famous. [SPEAKER_01]: And then they like do all your PR. [SPEAKER_01]: They help you stay famous. [SPEAKER_01]: They protect you. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like you do that for me first. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, it's all very like I think they're all going to jail. [SPEAKER_02]: Anyways, speaking with you should watch members only. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, it's a complete train wreck. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, listen, it's a bunch of ghouls sitting around pulling each other's wigs off and yelling and talking about belonging when none of them belong to anything. [SPEAKER_02]: It's just crazy, but you kind of can't take your eyes off of it. [SPEAKER_02]: And I live here. [SPEAKER_02]: And by the way, I don't know, I don't think we were still talking, not that we weren't ever talking, but I mean, we were just not communicating as much. [SPEAKER_02]: I was filming a pilot for something called Snowbirds, and that was what was supposed to be picked up. [SPEAKER_02]: And instead, members only Palm Beach got picked up by Netflix and wait till you see the outcome. [SPEAKER_02]: It's just, it's funny. [SPEAKER_02]: It's funny. [SPEAKER_02]: It's not, uh, you're just going to be surprised that you watch it, but you won't stop watching it. [SPEAKER_02]: I'll just say that. [SPEAKER_01]: How did you feel, you know, that's so Hollywood, right? [SPEAKER_01]: Is, you know, they're like, oh, we want you for the show, we want you for the show and then they go and do a whole another show. [SPEAKER_01]: How did you feel about not being cast? [SPEAKER_01]: Were you okay? [SPEAKER_02]: Well, no, I was cast, but Snowbirds didn't get picked up. [SPEAKER_02]: It was option by Bravo and then Bravo turned it down. [SPEAKER_02]: And in the meantime, another production company was filming with this other group. [SPEAKER_02]: And I don't know what their storyline was because none of them were in the Palm Beach, but they made it once ours, you know, they got picked up by Netflix, so they basically took the idea and ran with that. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it was their version of whatever our version was, ours was snowbirds. [SPEAKER_02]: So it was people that traveled to and from New York to Palm Beach. [SPEAKER_02]: There's was people who lived down here who were whether or not they were members of a club, members of [SPEAKER_02]: kind of very interesting. [SPEAKER_02]: So, so wait, go back to you for a second, though. [SPEAKER_02]: So, so you wanted to be a talk show host. [SPEAKER_02]: And you worked. [SPEAKER_02]: And you worked aware. [SPEAKER_02]: Did you have a journalism degree? [SPEAKER_01]: No, I went to a liberal arts college. [SPEAKER_01]: Got a majored in history, minored in film studies. [SPEAKER_01]: After I graduated, moved to DC, and I worked in morning radio. [SPEAKER_01]: I just went around to every radio station and was like, how do I get hired here? [SPEAKER_01]: Started in promotions, and then I would just apply for every time a producer was fired or let go. [SPEAKER_01]: I would get producer gigs, and I think I've been fired from radio five times, like five different radio jobs. [SPEAKER_01]: But that's how I got my start. [SPEAKER_01]: What? [SPEAKER_01]: Anything good? [SPEAKER_01]: No, you know, there was a saying in old school radio that was you haven't been in radio until you've been fired and it was mostly because they were always changing formats, you know, it was such a dying industry even when I started in 2006, you know, so. [SPEAKER_01]: So like I worked for one radio station and then they blew out the whole morning shows they fired me and they helped me get a traffic reporter job and then I eventually in DC I landed on a show called the King Show on a hot 995 which was with iHeart radio and that show took off [SPEAKER_01]: and became number one in the DC market. [SPEAKER_01]: And it was very morning zoo crew, a little Howard Stern, a little Z100, like Elliott in the morning, very like that. [SPEAKER_01]: So that was very popular for the DC region and got syndicated on serious XM and some other places from there I got a gig for Fox 5 DC as an entertainment contributor. [SPEAKER_01]: And I was in radio until 2015 because, you know, I rode that out, but I was getting fired. [SPEAKER_01]: And I think that was it. [SPEAKER_01]: I think it was the fifth time I was fired from radio. [SPEAKER_01]: And they offered me a morning show or a midday girl slot, or I could take my severance package. [SPEAKER_01]: And at that time, in 2015, number serial, the podcast was so huge. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: So I would go out and talk to women and they were like, I'm listening to this podcast serial, I listen to this and I thought, okay, this is the kiss of death for radio. [SPEAKER_01]: If now people can listen on demand to programming, why are you gonna tune in to a morning show like the zoo crew that you used to at 6am? [SPEAKER_01]: So it took my 7th money and my podcast actually turns 10 years old this year. [SPEAKER_01]: In 2016, I started my podcast. [SPEAKER_01]: Amazing. [SPEAKER_01]: And has it always been called the Sarah Fraser Show? [SPEAKER_01]: No, it was called Hay Fraser. [SPEAKER_01]: They used to call me Fraser on the radio. [SPEAKER_01]: But when I started doing Hay Fraser, the podcast advertisers could not [SPEAKER_01]: understand what it, like they couldn't say it, so it would be, hey, frost, hey, frost. [SPEAKER_01]: So I'm like, okay, this is too hard for people. [SPEAKER_01]: I'll just call it the Sarah Fraser show. [SPEAKER_01]: And I did, I probably, so I did a rebrand. [SPEAKER_01]: Five years ago, probably. [SPEAKER_01]: Five or six years ago. [SPEAKER_02]: And when you first started, did you always cover reality stuff? [SPEAKER_01]: No, it was very Joe Rogan-like. [SPEAKER_01]: I went to like a mosque and learned about, you know, what was going on in the Muslim community. [SPEAKER_01]: It was very, and there's still a part of me and you and I kind of talk like some politics and some, I would say like politics pop culture crossover. [SPEAKER_01]: I like, I'm very fascinated by that to, you know, how people are thinking what trends are happening in our country. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, I mean, if you go that route, it's a lot of, you know, it's a lot of work. [SPEAKER_01]: You have to kind of like, you know, cross your teeth, dot your eyes, do some real journalism stuff. [SPEAKER_01]: And I've always loved the pop culture and the, [SPEAKER_02]: reality trash and that was what was getting me downloads like when I did that kind of stuff shows the things that you cover like I saw the other day we're talking about um jipsy rose again and you were talking to her old fiance or husband or whatever All right these things that genuinely like if I didn't if I knew you and I were your best friend or your husband and I was seeing you are you sitting around on the couch nightly watching these shows. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah [SPEAKER_01]: I love, I'm obsessed. [SPEAKER_02]: Look, I still watch all the bravo shots. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm talking something like that. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: I would watch, yes. [SPEAKER_01]: And now I'm obsessed with TikTok, like I love all the Gypsy T. All the, because it's so fascinating to me how people become famous, what they become famous for. [SPEAKER_01]: And then you know, you know this, you've been around famous people, their whole lives. [SPEAKER_01]: Then people are so desperate most of the times to keep the fame. [SPEAKER_01]: Even if it's like Gypsy Rose Blanchard fame, like she murdered her mom. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: So wants to be in the spotlight. [SPEAKER_01]: She's launching a podcast. [SPEAKER_01]: She's trying to do a rebrand about spirituality. [SPEAKER_01]: It's so... [SPEAKER_01]: I love how the human psyche works when it comes to fame. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, can we talk about the girl we've both had on from Sister Wives, Mary? [SPEAKER_02]: Is that her name? [SPEAKER_01]: Yes. [SPEAKER_02]: So I had her on the show and I loved her. [SPEAKER_02]: I thought she was great. [SPEAKER_02]: She flew to Florida. [SPEAKER_02]: We met in person. [SPEAKER_02]: I thought she was great. [SPEAKER_02]: But she had that whole thing, um, worthy, worthy up? [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: She's still doing that? [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: So when I interviewed her and I'm not saying this would be judgmental, I genuinely masking because you must know this. [SPEAKER_02]: I asked her about where the app it was just starting. [SPEAKER_02]: I could not understand the concept. [SPEAKER_02]: She was like, you are worthy just because you are born. [SPEAKER_02]: You are worthy and you just have to worry. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: And I kind of was like, well, [SPEAKER_02]: Don't you in my head, I'm like, but don't you have to find some worthy-ness. [SPEAKER_02]: We can't just sit on a couch and eat pizza and become a thousand pounds and be like, well, I'm worthy still go fuck yourself. [SPEAKER_02]: Like, you have to find what's worthy about you and project that. [SPEAKER_02]: You need to be proactive in being worthy, right? [SPEAKER_02]: Do you know what I mean? [SPEAKER_02]: So I didn't understand the concept. [SPEAKER_02]: So has she gotten something out of this worthy up? [SPEAKER_02]: You know, movement? [SPEAKER_01]: That's a good question, because have you been worthy to? [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, I'm sort of over the self-help, or do you know, like Mel Robbins, I'd like Mel, but like I couldn't lift down with my best. [SPEAKER_02]: I can't believe she was up for a Grammy or whatever that was. [SPEAKER_01]: Don't even get me started. [SPEAKER_01]: No, a golden glow. [SPEAKER_01]: Look, look, why? [SPEAKER_02]: Why do I? [SPEAKER_01]: I'll let Joe Rogan and B.O. [SPEAKER_01]: Bond, like none of those people were nominated. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but like tell me how these people who are life coaches or want to talk about life shit, first of all, [SPEAKER_02]: Who the fuck is a not to be rude? [SPEAKER_02]: Who is Mel Robin? [SPEAKER_02]: Did something issue doctor? [SPEAKER_02]: Did something happen to her early in her life that she knows all this stuff? [SPEAKER_02]: She's talking about like self-help stuff or medical stuff and okay, but like who are you to ask that stuff? [SPEAKER_02]: Also the guy he's kind of Indian with the curly crazy hair now with the beautiful Oh, Jay Shetty. [SPEAKER_02]: Who the fuck is he? [SPEAKER_02]: I don't understand. [SPEAKER_01]: Excuse me. [SPEAKER_01]: He was a former monk for a year. [SPEAKER_01]: okay that's interesting but didn't wasn't there some big scandal that happened recently that they just shoved under the rug yeah he's always been being the fraud yeah he's always been uh... marred with fraud you know because i think to your point i think he he just basically went to a retreat in india where you could like pay to be a monk for a year right so this [SPEAKER_01]: Don't get, you know, don't exactly quote me, but I think this was sort of the thing. [SPEAKER_01]: And then apparently he did what a lot of people did in the early odds where they would just go on Instagram and steal other people's quotes. [SPEAKER_01]: So Jay would steal these quotes and present them as they were himself. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, oh, you know, let go of the past and be present and people would be like, [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god, I'm never heard of something so it's just he's such a sage. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, come on, same thing, no offense, Lewis house or how he, whatever I thought his name is, he used to look, he used to not be able to make enough money and lived on someone's couch, and now he's telling people how to live their lives. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, right. [SPEAKER_01]: For our work week, though, that one, I'm like, at least that was, I thought, revolutionary at the time. [SPEAKER_01]: And now don't even know what you're talking about, but still, I just, I just don't get it. [SPEAKER_02]: And the same thing with, you know, call her daddy, call me daddy, whatever. [SPEAKER_02]: I get that she listen, good for her. [SPEAKER_02]: She left bar stool. [SPEAKER_02]: She made a name for herself. [SPEAKER_02]: But I don't understand how half the people she has in her show, I've never heard of. [SPEAKER_02]: They're like 18, and they're talking about their dramas within their world. [SPEAKER_02]: And then she has like Jane Fonda coming on there talking about looking pussy or something. [SPEAKER_02]: I just, I don't get it. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't. [SPEAKER_01]: I just think or it's for at the four hour work week, so it wasn't Lewis House. [SPEAKER_02]: So anyway, um, no, I was living on someone's couch when that book was written probably. [SPEAKER_01]: I completely get it. [SPEAKER_01]: Where I don't know where Mary's were the upstands. [SPEAKER_01]: I know it's still going. [SPEAKER_01]: I know the concept is very Mel Robbins, where you do a monthly membership. [SPEAKER_01]: There's different tiers. [SPEAKER_01]: You get access to Mary. [SPEAKER_01]: And the idea is, what is, like, how can we as a community, I think, help you, work through whatever adversity is going on, whether it's to help you. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, I think you should do something deep diving in all your sister-wise deep diving into what that's really about, because I think there's a little scandal there. [SPEAKER_01]: What do you do? [SPEAKER_01]: I do. [SPEAKER_02]: What do you do? [SPEAKER_02]: She's not on the show anymore, so she's making money. [SPEAKER_01]: No, she's still on the show, and they just filmed season 21. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't think I'm going to ever leave, I think it's such a cash cow. [SPEAKER_02]: So I just had a woman on my show named Pamela Jones who escaped a cult in Mexico, where it was a terrible cult, polygamous, and she was married to someone who also hit through otherwise she is nine children, 31 grandchildren. [SPEAKER_02]: She escaped over the border with two tanks of gas. [SPEAKER_02]: worth of money and a car now lives in Minnesota and makes over a million dollars a year as running a cleaning agency with all her kids. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it's insane. [SPEAKER_02]: But stories like that, I like. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, who else have you had recently? [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like you've had some, I was going to your Instagram. [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like you've had some really big people. [SPEAKER_02]: I've had some really good people, but once I have them on, I can't remember who are they are the next day, because I've moved on to someone else, but I am so proud of the guests. [SPEAKER_02]: We got, listen, just, yes, you made some pretty good ones. [SPEAKER_02]: Two days ago, I interviewed, do you remember the Joe paterno scandal at Penn State? [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, with Jerry Sandeski molesting and having sex with any boys. [SPEAKER_01]: So weird you bring it up because my husband and I were just saying is Jerry Sandeski still alive and then we had to Google it and he's still alive in jail. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he has a group of people including his wife that still believes that he is innocent and they are on a mission to get him out on an appeal. [SPEAKER_02]: I interviewed Jay Paturno, who was Joe Paturno's son, who don't forget every, he took the downfall. [SPEAKER_02]: Everyone blamed him. [SPEAKER_02]: This guy who was so beloved and revered as the coach of an institution of Penn State football, and his son actually worked there as an assistant quarterback coach or whatever. [SPEAKER_02]: Max has been actually played for Joe Paturno and for Jay Paturno. [SPEAKER_02]: And I got the insights group of what it was like for him to watch his father be accused and for [SPEAKER_02]: two weeks to the day that he was accused of it and fired. [SPEAKER_02]: He died of lung cancer. [SPEAKER_02]: The whole thing was crazy. [SPEAKER_02]: And so it was really interesting to hear his story. [SPEAKER_02]: Same thing I had the daughter of Joey but a few co and the other one, Mary Joe, to talk about what it was like to be a kid during that time. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that was stressful. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: So I have all started to random people. [SPEAKER_01]: You know who I, you had on that I wanted to ask you about is Susan Powder. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, she was great. [SPEAKER_01]: OK, thank you. [SPEAKER_01]: Go back. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I only, is her documentary out? [SPEAKER_01]: Is there a documentary about her? [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, it's called Finding Susan Powder. [SPEAKER_02]: Where can I watch it? [SPEAKER_02]: I know I can Google this, but do you know? [SPEAKER_02]: George is going to tell you right now. [SPEAKER_02]: He's going to look it up. [SPEAKER_02]: I want to say it was on Amazon Prime or Hulu or something like that. [SPEAKER_01]: OK, I have to go watch immediately. [SPEAKER_01]: It's on Amazon and you have to, I think you have to pay [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and it might also be worth it. [SPEAKER_02]: It's worth it. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it is worth it. [SPEAKER_02]: If you remember who she is. [SPEAKER_02]: Here's here's the, I mean, it's not it's not a spoiler because people know she drives for Uber eats and has no money and basically no one knows this besides George, but I, well, I've never paid someone to be on my show ever. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I've paid, I put $500 in an envelope and pretended like we paid so that I could and handed it to her so that she had some extra money. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, she, she had like $1500 to her name and lives in like a little apartment in Las Vegas. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it's terrible what happened. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if there are some mental issues there now, because honestly, because when Amanda doesn't seem like at the time, she had some mental issues, but when you've gone through such trauma like that and you have to go back to like this suffering of like [SPEAKER_02]: Being that famous and all of a sudden working at a restaurant and being, you know, like just people treating you like shit and then you don't have money and you, you know, your teeth are falling out whatever it is like. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know how you survived that, and it's hard for her. [SPEAKER_01]: Give me the rundown though, okay, because she was like so stunning in the 90s. [SPEAKER_01]: Like she had this shaped head. [SPEAKER_01]: She just had this great look. [SPEAKER_01]: She was a fitness guru in the 90s. [SPEAKER_01]: Why is she actually, and she was like doing the member when, oh my god, like infomercials and all those things were huge and really worked. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, this is what I don't understand about her story. [SPEAKER_01]: So, [SPEAKER_01]: Did she build a $200 million empire or was she actually worth $200 million and lost all that? [SPEAKER_01]: Cause that's always amazing to me. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how people lose. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I like to spend money, but I'm also really cheap. [SPEAKER_01]: So I just don't know how people. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so I'll tell you how it happened. [SPEAKER_02]: She basically was a woman who was really heavy and she lost all the way and she started going to work out classes and then she started to work at workout classes and then she got her own studio and because of her energy, I mean, there is so many about her. [SPEAKER_02]: She walks in a room and you're just like, who the fuck is this? [SPEAKER_02]: She's amazing. [SPEAKER_02]: Um, she stood out and people started noticing and her classes were full and more and more and more and more finally it goes to the point where she signs with someone who is like I'm going to make you famous because you have a brand and they got her you know this TV deal and this deal. [SPEAKER_02]: And she was just like, okay, whatever it is, I'm so excited to be offered this. [SPEAKER_02]: They have to give her 4%. [SPEAKER_02]: So she gave them 50%. [SPEAKER_02]: Then the next person came in and they said, well, we want to book deal, but it's 50%. [SPEAKER_02]: Now of your 50%. [SPEAKER_02]: So she's only getting 25%. [SPEAKER_02]: And so she was getting very little money. [SPEAKER_02]: So the team and the brand and the everything was worth over $200 million. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm getting the five years wrong. [SPEAKER_02]: But some share, I guess. [SPEAKER_02]: And none of it went to her. [SPEAKER_02]: And she started realizing this, fired everybody and said, I'm the brand. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay. [SPEAKER_02]: So without me, you're going to have nothing. [SPEAKER_02]: And didn't realize that it was like syndicated. [SPEAKER_02]: So it would keep playing and it would still get their money for in the royalties or whatever. [SPEAKER_02]: And she thought someone else would pick her up and she was so well-known and it kind of didn't happen. [SPEAKER_02]: So she moved and like had to get a job of as a waitress and kept thinking that like a book deal would happen or something. [SPEAKER_02]: But she had given away so much of her money to other people to make things happen that she just really wasn't getting any. [SPEAKER_02]: And then it just, [SPEAKER_02]: she never got jobs. [SPEAKER_02]: And then she talks a lot about as you get older, it's harder to get work. [SPEAKER_02]: Like, you know, she's now in her 60s and like what she's going to be a fitness guru. [SPEAKER_02]: By the way, if she said she signed with a manager, [SPEAKER_02]: If that manager is good, they will get her immediately. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, already, and I almost think it's too late if they haven't done it because the story already came out. [SPEAKER_02]: But on speaking tours, because she's fantastic, you can get her 15,000, 25,000 speaking tour, right? [SPEAKER_02]: And then, or speaking engagement, [SPEAKER_02]: She could do a book. [SPEAKER_02]: She could do a fitness class. [SPEAKER_02]: She could do an online fitness class for older women of just getting moving. [SPEAKER_02]: Her whole thing is just like move. [SPEAKER_02]: Like being the kitchen with me, cook, walk around the house, all that shit, you know, somebody pays her 15 bucks to be in her class once a day. [SPEAKER_02]: She can get 500 people every day like from Tim Buck 2 to watch her for an hour and just lift their legs in the living room. [SPEAKER_01]: She can make so much money. [SPEAKER_01]: She can make money. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that's a Mel Robbins whole story. [SPEAKER_01]: We were talking about Mel Robbins. [SPEAKER_01]: The reason Mel Robbins became went viral a decade ago. [SPEAKER_01]: A sheiner has been head of business and then they lost the business and they'd invested their life savings, which was $700,000 and they lost every penny. [SPEAKER_01]: And she basically went online and just said, I'd broke. [SPEAKER_01]: Like I, we did this business and people were like, let us help you like that. [SPEAKER_01]: And then she just rebuilt her life on social media, talking people through, [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Susan at any age could do. [SPEAKER_01]: See, that's something like, it's such a weird time in TV and entertainment. [SPEAKER_01]: It's sort of dying like radio did, but there's so much opportunity now for people of all ages, all niches. [SPEAKER_01]: If you can do it, that's the problem though. [SPEAKER_01]: Is so many people don't know how to do it themselves. [SPEAKER_01]: This is why it's genius, what you're doing, what I'm doing. [SPEAKER_02]: Don't give that up because if you can create your own brand and your own show with just, you know, you have an amazing Your own credibility, you know, you could be the expert of what you want to be the expert is at making, you know, clay pigeons. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, be the expert of that and put it online somehow. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, you're right. [SPEAKER_02]: It's taking ownership of what you do. [SPEAKER_02]: But now you started a, um, [SPEAKER_01]: Clark has course and consulting a hundred percent. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: And consulting and how is that going? [SPEAKER_01]: It's good. [SPEAKER_01]: It's good. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't have enough time right now because of all the life things that are happening. [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm not and then and then I worry about that like for twenty twenty six like what is my, you know, marketing strategy here. [SPEAKER_01]: But. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, it's great. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, I mean, I probably have two consulting clients a month, which I'm fine with. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, we did a big black Friday sale, which was great. [SPEAKER_01]: That sold several courses. [SPEAKER_01]: I've sold a lot of the $9, which is how to start literally how to start a podcast. [SPEAKER_01]: Great. [SPEAKER_01]: The six-figure master plan, which is more like how you scale up and really make a living. [SPEAKER_01]: And you make $100,200, $300,000 that you're podcasting. [SPEAKER_01]: That one's been a little bit slower to sell and it's a big investment for people. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, and it's like 900 bucks is a lot to put up if you aren't really sure if this is a baby. [SPEAKER_02]: Are those courses already taped and they just watch it on our own? [SPEAKER_02]: Yes. [SPEAKER_02]: What that means, it's an individual course with you. [SPEAKER_01]: No. [SPEAKER_01]: The 900 is like you, it's everything there. [SPEAKER_01]: You download it. [SPEAKER_01]: This is your roadmap to how you can make 150k your podcasting. [SPEAKER_01]: And then if you want to consult with me one-on-one, I definitely do that. [SPEAKER_02]: Amazing. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay. [SPEAKER_02]: So what is the goal for 2026? [SPEAKER_02]: You're about to have a baby. [SPEAKER_02]: Are you going to take a little time off of podcasting with David Yantef and Paul? [SPEAKER_01]: I really want to. [SPEAKER_01]: You do a daily, right? [SPEAKER_01]: Daily. [SPEAKER_01]: I want to ramp up in 2026. [SPEAKER_01]: You do. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay. [SPEAKER_02]: Good. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I want to go on this street. [SPEAKER_01]: I want to be more on the street. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, I love who's the, I don't even know the YouTube or who's the guy that went to all the centers in Minneapolis, all the child care and exposed. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't even know if it's real fraud or not, but it is a super interesting. [SPEAKER_02]: And it's more than him. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, you've got comedians on the street just to be about the random people asking someone what they wear and all of a sudden their account is, you know, a million followers. [SPEAKER_01]: So much on the street and you don't get married field this guy from seeking sister wife. [SPEAKER_01]: He was just arrested for threatening to call ICE on his sister wife. [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, oh my gosh, after my baby's wife, she maxed again. [SPEAKER_01]: No, she's Brazilian. [SPEAKER_01]: They had a big fight. [SPEAKER_01]: He didn't physically hit her, but he threatened to he cut the Wi-Fi, told her that he was going to call ICE on her ass. [SPEAKER_01]: And then he she called [SPEAKER_01]: No, I just, it went, it TMZ, I think picked it up. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god. [SPEAKER_01]: So I'm like, after my baby's born, I'm getting a traveling nanny. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to Colorado. [SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, I want to be in that courtroom. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, what is Derek Mary filled up to? [SPEAKER_01]: I want to do everything that guy from the Minneapolis child care, whatever. [SPEAKER_01]: I want to do that, but much more, you know, kind of random, um, [SPEAKER_02]: of like reality people yeah but you know it would be funnier if you did if you had your baby strapped your back and you did like the people's court you remember the guy that used to send outside at the end and be like how do you feel about this outcome? [SPEAKER_01]: The fouls and pound sisters, Tammy Slayton, sold her house last year. [SPEAKER_01]: I should have flown a Kentucky gun on a house tour. [SPEAKER_01]: Told them that I was interested in buying it. [SPEAKER_01]: I think it's sold for like $64,000. [SPEAKER_01]: And then it has dare of all. [SPEAKER_01]: I tried to get like, I want to do things Mickey work is broke here in LA. [SPEAKER_01]: I wanted to go to Mickey workhouse and go look. [SPEAKER_01]: I'll give you five grand if you co-host the podcast with me for a week. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, can you imagine? [SPEAKER_02]: Well, it's interesting you say that. [SPEAKER_02]: I, yeah, are you getting them off? [SPEAKER_02]: Well, I'm working on it. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, good. [SPEAKER_02]: You should. [SPEAKER_02]: OK, and then you can do it really great. [SPEAKER_02]: I think I think he's working on his sexuality a little bit. [SPEAKER_02]: I think he's working on, you know, he really loves animals. [SPEAKER_02]: I know that about him. [SPEAKER_02]: Um, you know, he's like trying to save all these animals. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: Wait, wait, wait, wait. [SPEAKER_01]: When you say sexuality, what's the deal? [SPEAKER_01]: Now he thinks he's bi or fluid or is he trans? [SPEAKER_01]: What's going on? [SPEAKER_02]: Well, I mean, do you think he's straight? [SPEAKER_02]: Well, it's not. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, I, I, I, just for a walk into that for everybody. [SPEAKER_01]: It's a no, okay. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, no, but no, and not that there's anything wrong with it. [SPEAKER_02]: And listen, it's not like I've ever slept with them. [SPEAKER_02]: And so I know that or anything. [SPEAKER_02]: It's just from the conversations I've had with people who know him very well. [SPEAKER_02]: He's struggled for a while, but me is someone who's followed him for a while in his own Instagram. [SPEAKER_02]: He has a guy, forget the guy's name, who's always on his Instagram with him. [SPEAKER_02]: You know, the way Mickey looks right now is not so fantastic, but yes, I have been in touch about having him on, you know, wait, and I'm shocked that you're shocked that I've never paid anyone to be on my shows. [SPEAKER_02]: Do you have to pay people to be on your show? [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, oh my god, all the time. [SPEAKER_01]: Actually, I won't even name the person, but I just turned down somebody who was like insanely famous, insanely famous. [SPEAKER_01]: Why can't you tell? [SPEAKER_01]: Um, I'll tell you, I think it's a bad business practice to out the people because I don't blame people. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't blame people for asking for a talent fee because a lot of times like my episodes go viral and it's like, I'm making money. [SPEAKER_01]: So it's kind of like, I don't blame people for asking. [SPEAKER_01]: I also have the right to say I'm not going to pay that. [SPEAKER_01]: But I had a very famous star from the 90s who was a sex worker. [SPEAKER_01]: who was wanted to come on the show and wanted 5k and I said no. [SPEAKER_01]: And then they said okay, 2k and I said okay, I'll pay you 2,000. [SPEAKER_01]: But then they came back, their manager came back. [SPEAKER_01]: I need advice. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to say, but then the new manager came back and say, well, you cannot talk about with this person blah, blah, blah, blah. [SPEAKER_01]: And I said, I'm sorry, I don't pay talent fee and then doing at it. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, there's no way. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not giving you, I'm not giving you, no, if you're paying you, you're coming on for 60 minutes and you're going to anything, you can decline to answer, but I'm not going to not ask you a question. [SPEAKER_02]: And because of the time that we've been doing this show, which is different than you, you've had a 10 years I've had mine almost three. [SPEAKER_02]: three people have asked for money. [SPEAKER_02]: Ryan lockedy. [SPEAKER_02]: Why don't we have the swimmer? [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, grow. [SPEAKER_02]: I think you should have paid him. [SPEAKER_02]: Marla Maples. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, Obsess. [SPEAKER_01]: I also would have paid her something. [SPEAKER_02]: You would have? [SPEAKER_01]: Yes. [SPEAKER_02]: So you're talking about Trump? [SPEAKER_02]: I'm not a percent an absolute problem. [SPEAKER_02]: She probably wouldn't have spoken about them. [SPEAKER_02]: Don't you think? [SPEAKER_02]: But anyway, okay, third is um [SPEAKER_02]: Conrad Murray, the guy who killed Michael Jackson would have paid an heartbeat $50,000. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: He can kiss it. [SPEAKER_01]: He can kiss it. [SPEAKER_01]: No, he can kiss it. [SPEAKER_02]: Ryan Locke, I think one of $3,500 or $5,000. [SPEAKER_02]: And Mark will do $3,500. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's stupid. [SPEAKER_02]: No one else has even brought it up to me. [SPEAKER_02]: Actually, that's not true. [SPEAKER_02]: We did have George and I had an incident where recently someone asked us to play [SPEAKER_02]: their ticket their flight although they already happened to be coming to the area so that I thought was a little much but anyways we did play pay for a flight for someone who was on a Netflix stocky series who it was a really good get but anyway what I'm happy to pay but you're not getting a netted you know because you know this I mean the hard part when you work with networks [SPEAKER_01]: is you do this fantastic interview with a bravo celebrity or something and then they come back and they say, can you edit out the part where they call so-and-so a lot in a horror and I'm like, I'm at the point in my career and my show, it gets, I get more downloads talking with you or doing a rant than I do with a lot of these guests. [SPEAKER_01]: So it's like, [SPEAKER_01]: No, I'm not editing anymore, and if I'm paying you, again, you can decline. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, these people are more of a made pulls as media trained. [SPEAKER_01]: If she doesn't want to talk about the Epstein files, then or what she knows or doesn't know. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, she's welcome to go, okay, I'm not answering that. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, fine, but I'm not going to not ask that and pay you $3,500. [SPEAKER_01]: There's no way. [SPEAKER_02]: Of course. [SPEAKER_02]: All right. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, maybe I should start paying and maybe I should start offering to pay people to be on the show to get absolutely cute. [SPEAKER_02]: Although I have been lucky that I haven't had to yet. [SPEAKER_02]: Do you believe it's no and the difference is I'm not getting people from like that word like I don't really care that much about the reality TV people right because I'm talking I don't really live so I'm not talking about you know I'm getting like a great blue gainess or I'm getting you know whoever Sean Spicer like the most random people Lorraine a Bob it so they're talking about their life and it's not the one who thinks that they're a celebrity on a show so they should be getting a fee for it [SPEAKER_01]: And your mission of misunderstood is giving people a platform to explain, you know, so that's a very different type of thing versus a, you know, I'm like, give me Garrett, give me, you know, Tammy Sleaton, and I want to know all the nitty gritty, you know, like, so yeah, I don't even know who Tammy Sleaton is thousand pound sister, all right, one of them, there's like now she doesn't know, no thousand pound sisters were two sisters that collectively weighed a thousand pounds, but now they only weigh like 500 together, oh, they've lost a lot of weight. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but yeah, no, that's great. [SPEAKER_01]: God, it must be nice to not get asked for edits. [SPEAKER_01]: That's half my time, and I'm so I'm, I'm torn between playing ball and just being like, I'm fucking done. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, I'm, all right, so I'm so excited for you in 2026, anything we should know going forward, that's a little scoop on something you're planning on doing or hoping to do or whatever, besides having a job. [SPEAKER_01]: So I'm having a baby. [SPEAKER_01]: I have some guests. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know when you're going to hear this, but Suki, who's the host of the Sister Wives, one on ones, which is the equivalent of their reunion. [SPEAKER_01]: She's back. [SPEAKER_01]: So a lot of people will be interested in that, because she gives away a lot of interesting stuff. [SPEAKER_01]: She talks about that. [SPEAKER_01]: Kim Kardashian's hairdresser. [SPEAKER_01]: You should get him. [SPEAKER_01]: He was amazing. [SPEAKER_01]: He just wrote a book. [SPEAKER_01]: Is that a stop? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: He's on a press tour right now. [SPEAKER_01]: He's on a press tour. [SPEAKER_01]: That's a good one for your producer, George, reach out to you. [SPEAKER_02]: And what I'm not him on a file file, so he did yours. [SPEAKER_01]: He did my show. [SPEAKER_01]: He talked a lot about Kim, what he learned, what he learned from the card. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you know, he's very good. [SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't tell you like the specifics about what they have advised him over the years, but it's really great what he's done. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm talking about his life. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I've just feel like at this point, now he's been probably on everybody's podcast. [SPEAKER_02]: What do I need him for online? [SPEAKER_02]: You know what I mean, like when they do the whole tour? [SPEAKER_02]: That's true. [SPEAKER_02]: It's a lot of work. [SPEAKER_02]: Let's get about how we got into makeup. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, he's into hair. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he does something. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he's big thing his hair. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, you know, in Chris, he, his hardest thing to overcome. [SPEAKER_01]: And I still think there's a little shame there is, you know, he's gay. [SPEAKER_01]: And he was married and he had two kids with a woman. [SPEAKER_01]: And woman? [SPEAKER_01]: When, yeah, he lived a straight life for like a decade. [SPEAKER_01]: And that really made her dresser. [SPEAKER_02]: You're telling me no one knew it was gay. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: But do we know any street men that are, what about, I don't know any street men that go. [SPEAKER_01]: Angie K from Salt Lake City. [SPEAKER_01]: Her husband's a hair dresser as well as the first time. [SPEAKER_02]: Again, you talk about all these people. [SPEAKER_02]: I have no idea who they are. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't really watch Salt Lake. [SPEAKER_02]: But he married a man recently. [SPEAKER_02]: It was married for like a week. [SPEAKER_02]: Did you talk about that? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yes. [SPEAKER_01]: He, well, he does not really want to talk about a gauge. [SPEAKER_01]: So he's very vague with his answer. [SPEAKER_01]: He is not dating. [SPEAKER_01]: He says that he needs to work on dating himself after that divorce. [SPEAKER_01]: And so he's going out to places, but it's okay, there you go. [SPEAKER_01]: But you know what, yeah, ask, you ask. [SPEAKER_02]: And is there anything that was engaged to Jeff Lewis? [SPEAKER_02]: No, different gauge. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, but didn't that gauge Mary somebody else famous? [SPEAKER_02]: Did he? [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, there was some story there where he went off and dated like either Jeff's ex or Shane's ex or there was some drama with Gage. [SPEAKER_01]: I thought maybe I just made that up, but ex Cage, Mary, oh, I don't know this. [SPEAKER_02]: Am I right? [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, we, ex Cage. [SPEAKER_01]: Jeff Lewis reveals he and excege Edward briefly dated after split from Scott Anderson. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, wait, no, let's see, there's there is something in there. [SPEAKER_02]: We have. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay. [SPEAKER_02]: But, um, all right. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, if I think of any good reality stars that we've had, I mean, listen, you should get into, um, members only, and we're going to do that. [SPEAKER_02]: No, all these girls like it, I could get them on very easily. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, 100 percent. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm one of them was on mine, Taja, you might do very well having gale on your show or subal. [SPEAKER_02]: You don't know these names until you see the show, but okay, I think they would do very well with you and you'd have some fun with them. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god, 100 percent. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, let's do this again. [SPEAKER_01]: I have missed you. [SPEAKER_01]: I love our banter. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm so excited that you're Mrs. Donovan Dan looks like a very nice man. [SPEAKER_01]: He does. [SPEAKER_01]: He looks like he loves you a lot. [SPEAKER_01]: He's willing to be on your social media. [SPEAKER_01]: You guys, I hope you do some podcast episodes with him. [SPEAKER_01]: He sounds fascinating and sweet and he doesn't seem like a fame whore. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, he seems like a really good match for you. [SPEAKER_02]: He's a great guy. [SPEAKER_02]: He really is. [SPEAKER_02]: And we will do a podcast soon together for sure. [SPEAKER_02]: He's been asking why he's not allowed on the podcast. [SPEAKER_02]: And why hasn't he been on? [SPEAKER_02]: He seems like so because he was a big groom Zilla is why. [SPEAKER_02]: And so yeah, but he wants to come on to talk about security. [SPEAKER_02]: One what's misunderstood about how how to secure an area above above. [SPEAKER_02]: He wants to be all professional about it. [SPEAKER_02]: And I really want to talk to him about why such a groom Zilla. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I want to hear about your relationship. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to hear about that. [SPEAKER_01]: Sorry, Dan. [SPEAKER_01]: And I want to hear like, where are we at? [SPEAKER_01]: What's the threat level for of an ISIS attack on us at like a parade these days? [SPEAKER_01]: I do want to hear about that. [SPEAKER_01]: Because apparently they're fighting in panic. [SPEAKER_02]: His answer would be, it's not ISIS. [SPEAKER_02]: It's like within people you know. [SPEAKER_02]: It's like people that just get nuts and angry and have lost their job and have nothing else to lose in their angry about politics right now. [SPEAKER_02]: and they will just lose it. [SPEAKER_02]: The hardest thing is protecting an area and people when you're thinking the threat is like ISIS or the Taliban. [SPEAKER_02]: It's not. [SPEAKER_02]: It's your next door neighbor. [SPEAKER_02]: And they just go nuts. [SPEAKER_01]: They're hard to track. [SPEAKER_02]: And you just do not know that that is the threat and it's hard to prevent and protect [SPEAKER_02]: When you're not prepared for what that threat is and that is an everyday threat that people have to be aware of. [SPEAKER_02]: So that's that's that the the message he's trying to and with companies that's what he's trying to get them to be aware of. [SPEAKER_02]: You can't just have like the executive protection group just following you around. [SPEAKER_02]: Let's say because like what happened with Charlie Kirk was on the perimeter somebody outside shot within. [SPEAKER_02]: So who gave a shit that he had five people around him protecting him didn't do it. [SPEAKER_01]: Actually. [SPEAKER_01]: I want dance take on Charlie Carter, like on that because I do, I did, I had read that Charlie Kirk had been warned, like he would be assassinated and was told like he needed to be behind bulletproof, you know, plexiglass. [SPEAKER_01]: He didn't want to do it. [SPEAKER_02]: Right. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, because his whole thing was he wanted to interact with the people and he wanted to shake their hand. [SPEAKER_02]: And by the way, all of that still would have been fine. [SPEAKER_02]: Had they secured the perimeter and had people all around the perimeter just have to walk through a system where you can see if they have a weapon on them. [SPEAKER_02]: There are plenty of ways to have protected what happened. [SPEAKER_02]: It should not have happened at all. [SPEAKER_02]: Even though it was 200 feet away, it was easy to prevent. [SPEAKER_02]: So if you ever need someone to come on your show and talk about security in certain circumstances like that, he started his own podcast. [SPEAKER_02]: It's called the Security equation with the background. [SPEAKER_02]: And so he's available. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: You know what? [SPEAKER_01]: Yes. [SPEAKER_01]: And I find that fascinating. [SPEAKER_01]: Because actually, he's Dan, I think, is completely right. [SPEAKER_01]: Where I think it's now domestic terrorism more than it is. [SPEAKER_01]: Because it's so, I mean, you know, it must be. [SPEAKER_01]: Dan actually, okay, now we should do it. [SPEAKER_01]: Next time bring Dan on, because I do have some questions. [SPEAKER_01]: Because I think it's now it's so much easier to track ISIS, like AI, they do so many things online. [SPEAKER_01]: It's unavoidable. [SPEAKER_01]: Even like a burner phone. [SPEAKER_01]: You know? [SPEAKER_01]: So like now you can track so much of what they do. [SPEAKER_01]: But it's that one rogue kid that, you know, I mean, he did a couple messages on Facebook, but it wasn't like, [SPEAKER_01]: How would you know he would go? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, totally. [SPEAKER_01]: Right. [SPEAKER_02]: And it always seems to be that right within our schools or within, you know, even the guy who tried to assassinate President Trump, who's just a kid, you know, it's not like it was, you know, someone from the Middle East. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I want, you know, in disdain, consult with school districts, or school districts reaching out to him. [SPEAKER_01]: And, uh, [SPEAKER_01]: I want. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm transitioning. [SPEAKER_02]: He's trying to to talk to have something past within the government, the state statewide or local that requires or they pay for a handler and a canine at your school that's weapons detection oriented, you know, and train that way so that they are there to stuff that what's going on, not just the tack dobs where they could just like attacks someone, but someone that when you work. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, like a working animal because they think he believes as a lot of people do is that the the state should cover that funding not the school because it is expensive, you know. [SPEAKER_01]: Some are 100% but you know what I mean, yeah, I live in California pay almost 30% tax here get a fucking dog on these campuses and look maybe you know it's. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure Dan has all these ways that, you know, maybe it's not every day the dog is that, you know, they're moving around, you know, but people don't know the schedule. [SPEAKER_01]: They don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: But if I think it's such a deterrent if they knew that, you know, these schools were patrolled or I want to advocate LAUSD schools here in Los Angeles, like get undercover, former FBI agents and stuff like put them on campuses, do a test trial. [SPEAKER_02]: You know, like, yeah, it's interesting people know that though, you know, Donald Trump's grandson goes to my school and we had a code read last year because the secret service whipped out is gun and someone saw it and did a code read we had four helicopters. [SPEAKER_02]: 40 squad cars parents freaking out and today as a matter of fact it's funny that we're talking about this the school is closed We got any mail in the middle of the night. [SPEAKER_02]: There's been a threat at the school or against the school so they closed the entire school down So you know just because you have these undercover people there it actually doesn't really help at all So okay, we have the last day on this subject about [SPEAKER_01]: But most people are not going to school with Donald Trump's grandson. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that's a whole other level. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, you have that. [SPEAKER_02]: It backfires. [SPEAKER_02]: Because it backfires backfire now twice. [SPEAKER_02]: I think this was a false alarm as well. [SPEAKER_02]: But it's like overprotection with these people that are under cover, that someone thinks is like a perp walking around with a gun, and they see someone with a gun, and they're like, oh, there's a terrorist here. [SPEAKER_01]: All right, well we need Dan because does it do those incidents what give me the stats Dan to those incidents really escalate to a shooting or is it very, very rare? [SPEAKER_01]: Because we always overreact in this country. [SPEAKER_01]: It's like yeah, put somebody under cover and the chance is that they're gonna shoot a student Is probably 0.001. [SPEAKER_01]: Is it couldn't happen? [SPEAKER_01]: Is it gonna happen? [SPEAKER_01]: Probably, you know, because how many millions of kids go to school, but [SPEAKER_02]: But they also, if they were on their own, they would be there quicker. [SPEAKER_02]: And the response time would be quicker. [SPEAKER_02]: So let's say somebody went in and started shooting. [SPEAKER_02]: The person is already in place to then turn around and know how to find him, right? [SPEAKER_02]: And so to me, that seems like, you know, anyway, whole another conversation will happen. [SPEAKER_02]: But Sarah, I love you. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm sure that the next time I speak to you will be after your child. [SPEAKER_02]: So I wish you an easy and peaceful childbirth. [SPEAKER_01]: So happy for you.
