If you know your skill set, and you know what you're good at and what you're not good at, you you lean into what you're good at.

It fluctuates depending on the team, but the average is fifty to sixty thousand dollars a year, So they tend to be paid less during the offseason and don't get paid during preseason. But most water boys do have a background in athletics and qualityho are officially classed as being part of the team's training staff. They also are expected to sign a non compete which restricts them from jumping from team to team, so they take it very seriously and it's more than just carrying a bottle of water. They tape up guys, provide treatment during the week before and after games, and it's more of an apprenticeship as part of the training staff to learn the craft.
