<v Speaker 1>This is WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre and you're listening to <v Speaker 1>the WWE podcast show. <v Speaker 2>The one that everybody wants me God. <v Speaker 3>Step three sixteen says I said us your ass. <v Speaker 2>This minn you can acknowledge me and welcome to the <v Speaker 2>WWE podcast mail Bag. It is Wednesday, January eighteenth, twenty <v Speaker 2>twenty three. We have got a lot to get through tonight, <v Speaker 2>as Royal Rumble is right around the corner. And quickly, <v Speaker 2>how quickly it came right We were talking about nine weeks, <v Speaker 2>eight weeks, Oh my god, it felt like forever. Now <v Speaker 2>we're looking what like a week and change. It's amazing, <v Speaker 2>it's absolutely so let's get to it. Let's talk to <v Speaker 2>our patrons first, and as you guys know, Patreon members <v Speaker 2>are able to get priority. That's why you guys go <v Speaker 2>up first. I would encourage you to go there Patreon <v Speaker 2>dot com, slash ww podcast, as well as going to <v Speaker 2>Apple Podcasts and get your ad free subscription because our <v Speaker 2>prices are increasing on Saturday. So if you want to <v Speaker 2>get ninety nine cents for the month instead of two <v Speaker 2>ninety nine for the month, head on over to Apple <v Speaker 2>Podcasts right now and lock in your price all right, <v Speaker 2>So this one is from the g Man and he <v Speaker 2>says emotions were running high last week. I'm much calmer now, <v Speaker 2>so I apologize last week. But I love to give <v Speaker 2>you my predictions for the Men's and women's Royal Rumble match. <v Speaker 2>For the men, entering number one will be Seth and <v Speaker 2>entering number two will be Austin Theory. The final four, <v Speaker 2>by order will be Austin Theory, Drew McIntyre, Seth rollins In, <v Speaker 2>the winner of the twenty twenty three Men's Royal Rumble <v Speaker 2>Cody rhods Oh and for the next ten weeks we <v Speaker 2>will be hearing a Cody win. The one championship is <v Speaker 2>Dad never won, so get ready for that. Well I <v Speaker 2>was gonna comment, but let me continue now onto the <v Speaker 2>women's Entering number one will be Live Morgan and number <v Speaker 2>two will be the returning Naomi. It's a long shot, <v Speaker 2>but I think she may return. The final four by <v Speaker 2>order will be Beth Phoenix, Live Morgan where Cal Rodriguez, <v Speaker 2>and the winner of the twenty twenty three Royal Rumble <v Speaker 2>for the women is Rhea Ripley. Thank you, Matt, have <v Speaker 2>a good one. <v Speaker 4>Well. <v Speaker 2>First of all, g Man, I'm glad that you were <v Speaker 2>able to do some meditation, do some life reflection and <v Speaker 2>take a couple of breaths. Now, that doesn't mean that <v Speaker 2>if things go off the rails that you're not entitled <v Speaker 2>to follow suit. You know, we are far from this <v Speaker 2>story of wwe per being purchased and Vince coming back <v Speaker 2>and is he coming for Creative and all that. We <v Speaker 2>are far from the conclusion of this. So you and <v Speaker 2>I may be on the same page losing our minds, <v Speaker 2>but it's going to depend on how things play out. <v Speaker 2>We will see. That said, I don't dislike your final four. <v Speaker 2>I could see Lashley also being swapped for like Drew McIntyre. <v Speaker 2>That's a possibility. I don't know. Let me think here. <v Speaker 2>Austin theory being the final four makes sense. That makes <v Speaker 2>sense to me because of how much they have pushed him, <v Speaker 2>deservedly so over the last several months. But he's not <v Speaker 2>believable to win. And the reason I say that is <v Speaker 2>he is in the US title picture. I think for <v Speaker 2>the foreseeable future, He's not in quite that top level yet. <v Speaker 2>That's not a bad thing, it's just the way it is. <v Speaker 2>Right now, take your time with Austin theory. And I <v Speaker 2>think they will, but I don't think that that's unreasonable <v Speaker 2>to think that those are your final four. But Cody Rhads, <v Speaker 2>of course, I think still is the heavy favorite. But <v Speaker 2>the more I think about the heavy favorite, does WW <v Speaker 2>really want to go with somebody that the WWE fans <v Speaker 2>have known is going to win for like the last <v Speaker 2>seven months. Is that really the way they want to go? <v Speaker 2>I mean maybe maybe not. Maybe they swear of us <v Speaker 2>and there's always another way to get to the main event. <v Speaker 2>Doesn't always have to be the Royal Rumble. There's another way, <v Speaker 2>you know, So Cody could still get there without winning <v Speaker 2>the Rumble and having someone else win. It could be <v Speaker 2>Seth What about Seth Rollins winning and non once talking <v Speaker 2>about that, Seth Rawlins made a good case this past <v Speaker 2>week of winning the Royal Rumble because he said he <v Speaker 2>can beat Roman Reigns like no one else can. That's true, <v Speaker 2>So we will see. As far as the women's go, <v Speaker 2>that's you know, like Naomi, look though, number one and <v Speaker 2>two are always interesting because that sets the tone for <v Speaker 2>the rumble. Number one and two always have something of <v Speaker 2>significance going on. There's always number one and two are <v Speaker 2>very important, really entering number two is the same as <v Speaker 2>entering number one. But to be honest, do I think <v Speaker 2>Naomi's coming back. I'd give her a hell of a <v Speaker 2>more of a chance than Sasha Banks, obviously, But just <v Speaker 2>because Sasha Banks wents to New Japan doesn't mean she <v Speaker 2>can't come to WWE. I mean it's possible, not impossible. <v Speaker 2>I mean, look, WWE does not view New Japan as <v Speaker 2>an actual threat. There aren't, they aren't. New Japan is <v Speaker 2>not a threat. So if Sasha Banks wanted to make <v Speaker 2>a quick appearance in the rumble, I don't see any <v Speaker 2>reason why she couldn't. Now, I know you're talking about <v Speaker 2>Naomi and not Sasha Banks, but they left the same time. <v Speaker 2>They're kind of lumped together. I like Naomi returning here. <v Speaker 2>I actually do think that that is a very valid possibility. <v Speaker 2>And I haven't heard anything, but it's been radio silence <v Speaker 2>on the end of Naomi, But I think it's very, <v Speaker 2>very possible, and I think that the Women's Division would <v Speaker 2>do well by her return. However, Ria Ripley, I would <v Speaker 2>agree Rea Ripley is the right person to win this, <v Speaker 2>the absolute right person to win, and it probably maybe <v Speaker 2>it might come down to Ria Ripley and Beth Phoenix. <v Speaker 2>If it does, there's no chance in hell of Beth <v Speaker 2>Phoenix winning here. But I think Ria Ripley is destined <v Speaker 2>to win the Women's Championship rob Women's Championship at WrestleMania <v Speaker 2>against Bianca bell Air in a probably one of the <v Speaker 2>best matches of the night. I'm already calling it. And <v Speaker 2>Beth Phoenix and Ria will likely finish up their program <v Speaker 2>at Elimination Chamber because they're not going to be in WrestleMania. <v Speaker 2>I mean, there's just no way we ishually not being <v Speaker 2>a grudge match at WrestleMania should be for a championship. <v Speaker 2>As far as Live Morgan goes and Roquel, sure, why not? <v Speaker 2>I mean, what about Alexa Bliss. I know that she <v Speaker 2>for some reason had to choose one or the other, <v Speaker 2>but we've seen people do double duty before. Just because <v Speaker 2>they're in a singles match doesn't mean that they can't <v Speaker 2>compete in the rumble itself. But I like it right now, Yeah, <v Speaker 2>I think that's very possible as well as what about <v Speaker 2>Becky Lynch, what about Ronda Rowsey? You know, I think <v Speaker 2>they're gonna have a run in, but your final four <v Speaker 2>I can't disagree with this rumble is the most unpredictable <v Speaker 2>I've ever been in. In my entire existence as a <v Speaker 2>wrestling fan for twenty five years, I've never seen this <v Speaker 2>a rumble more unpredictable. Thanks g Man. All right, let's <v Speaker 2>get to our next patron, Jeff Jeff h And he says, Hey, Matt, <v Speaker 2>let's get right into it, shall we. I've got a <v Speaker 2>combination of theories for you. Number one, You've been commenting <v Speaker 2>a lot about the vignettes that are pushing Cody Rhodes, <v Speaker 2>and your fear is that they're setting up for a <v Speaker 2>major time, major title run. I think the reasoning behind <v Speaker 2>them them is the exact opposite. I think they are <v Speaker 2>ruining the surprise return at the Rumble in order to <v Speaker 2>let fans down easy that he's not gonna win the Rumble, <v Speaker 2>very similar as to what WW did with Daniel Bryant <v Speaker 2>return before Rumble twenty fifteen. To me, this confirms that <v Speaker 2>the Rock entering and winning the Rumble to face Roman <v Speaker 2>at Mania, which leads me to the USO's comment on <v Speaker 2>Raw this week. They said that there's quote a big <v Speaker 2>surprise at Raw thirty. Every generation of the bloodline will <v Speaker 2>be there, and with that, I'm saying there's going to <v Speaker 2>be an appearance from the Rock. Everything in the ceremony <v Speaker 2>is going along just fine, but eventually it gets to <v Speaker 2>a point of tension where the Rock must acknowledge Roman <v Speaker 2>as a trivel chief, and Rock has hesitant to do it. <v Speaker 2>I'd mean some sort of ending where there's no physical contact. <v Speaker 2>The Rock is walking up or out up the ramp <v Speaker 2>while everyone else is in the ring, and Roman makes <v Speaker 2>a comment about the Rock must acknowledge him, and the <v Speaker 2>Rock looks back over his shoulder and leaves. Skip ahead <v Speaker 2>a week the Rock a Roman beats Ko before the <v Speaker 2>Men's Rumble. Rock enters the rumble at position thirty and <v Speaker 2>wins it to face Roman at Mania and claim he's <v Speaker 2>the real head of the table. Hope this happens. Give <v Speaker 2>me your thoughts, poke holes in it. Well, this is <v Speaker 2>as I've said for the last several weeks, this is <v Speaker 2>a mind bending storyline heading into Rumble and Mania. This <v Speaker 2>is mind bending because there's so many possibilities, so many <v Speaker 2>this is one of them. This is one of those <v Speaker 2>infinite possibilities that it hurts my head to think about <v Speaker 2>all the variables and people that could be involved. So <v Speaker 2>let's go through this. And my goal isn't to break <v Speaker 2>down and make fun of your story, because yours is <v Speaker 2>as valid as a lot of others. But I want <v Speaker 2>to give you some potential flaw fatal flaws, how about that? <v Speaker 2>Like fatal flaws meaning things that I would say are <v Speaker 2>probably a really hard no that could have this whole <v Speaker 2>storyline crumble where you know it's not my Again, I'm <v Speaker 2>not trying to discredit your theory anything like that. Like again, <v Speaker 2>if I browb a theory, someone could poke a hole <v Speaker 2>in mind, it's any of them that you present could. <v Speaker 2>But let's go through it. Okay, Raw thirty. Well, first <v Speaker 2>of all, Cody Roads, Okay, let me just say, yeah, <v Speaker 2>it could be that they're doing the exact opposite, but <v Speaker 2>I don't think that they are in this case. Daniel <v Speaker 2>Bryan and Cody Roads are two separate entities, and I <v Speaker 2>think they really screwed up at the twenty fifteen Royal <v Speaker 2>rumble in a big way, Like remember that debacle in Philadelphia. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>I think they learned from that or they Yeah, anyway, <v Speaker 2>no further comment on that. But with this big moment <v Speaker 2>of every generation of the bloodline will be there on <v Speaker 2>Monday at Raw thirty in Philadelphia. Philadelphia is obviously a <v Speaker 2>major market, major It's one of their top five markets. <v Speaker 2>I would argue when it comes to being on TV, <v Speaker 2>it's up there with Madison Square Garden and being in <v Speaker 2>New York City, It's up there, and being in Chicago, <v Speaker 2>being in LA that kind of magnitude. It's that big. <v Speaker 2>So here's what I'll say. If this segment falls at <v Speaker 2>the end of Raw, your theory has some merit to it, <v Speaker 2>much more than I would think it does on the surface. <v Speaker 2>Because if this is pushed to the end of Raw <v Speaker 2>and it's the quote unquote main event of Raw thirty, <v Speaker 2>then I would say that there's a much higher chance <v Speaker 2>of the Rock appearing. It's unlikely if this is Raw <v Speaker 2>thirty and this is the quote main event of Raw thirty, <v Speaker 2>that it's just Kevin Owens interrupting and attacking the Bloodline <v Speaker 2>for the emptieenth time. Because that's predictable, it's fun, and <v Speaker 2>the crowd would cheer for it. But the expectations if <v Speaker 2>it's the main event go much higher than if it's <v Speaker 2>like say the halfway through the show segment. Right, If <v Speaker 2>it's like the top of hour two and this is <v Speaker 2>the segment, then the Rock is not appearing. The only <v Speaker 2>way the Rock appears is if this is billed as <v Speaker 2>the main event of Raw. If it is, we got <v Speaker 2>something to talk about. If it's not, and they do <v Speaker 2>it at the open of Raw, they do it in <v Speaker 2>the the again, that midway point of Raw, no chance <v Speaker 2>the Rock is appearing. Let me just put it that way. <v Speaker 2>So but let's pretend this is the main event of <v Speaker 2>all and if very well could be. Okay. So, if <v Speaker 2>that's the case, and the Rock appears because he's a <v Speaker 2>part of the bloodline by default, because he's actual family <v Speaker 2>in Roman Reigns, is his cousin, all that this does <v Speaker 2>really I mean, first of all, this is a setup <v Speaker 2>for the Rock. I mean, how can you not talk <v Speaker 2>about the every generation of the bloodline. How's the Rock <v Speaker 2>not included in that? Maybe he's excluded and that's why <v Speaker 2>he appears after the rumble. Who knows. But to me, <v Speaker 2>let's go through this. As I said, Okay, the Rock appeers, <v Speaker 2>he doesn't acknowledge Roman Reigns, he's hesitant to do it, <v Speaker 2>and there's no there's no physical contact. I would I <v Speaker 2>would say that's this, this is good. I like your your, <v Speaker 2>your your thinking here he doesn't acknowledge Roman, or maybe <v Speaker 2>he says, you know, the Usos and Romans say okay, <v Speaker 2>we've got everyone out here, and the Rock's not there, <v Speaker 2>and they say, okay, we've got everyone out here, and <v Speaker 2>then the Rock comes out and saying, you know, didn't <v Speaker 2>you forget someone saying obviously you didn't. You didn't bring <v Speaker 2>up me. I'm a part of this family. And that's <v Speaker 2>how the Rock appears. But regardless, I don't think here's <v Speaker 2>the fatal flaw. They've got a big match with Ko <v Speaker 2>and Roman at the Rumble, and while everyone and their <v Speaker 2>brother knows that Kevin Owens has again a negative chance <v Speaker 2>of winning that match and winning the Universal Championship, the <v Speaker 2>undisputed WW Universal Championship, I think that having the Rock <v Speaker 2>there the week before the Rumble makes no sense. That <v Speaker 2>you're completely overshadowing and go looking way past Kevin Owens. <v Speaker 2>That's that's not a good way to push the title <v Speaker 2>match with Kevin Owens and Roman, because then you're not <v Speaker 2>even really you're not You've taken the investment, emotional investment <v Speaker 2>of Ko Roman off the table because you're looking at <v Speaker 2>this going oh cool, yeah, I mean, I you know, <v Speaker 2>we know now, we know that's the Rock Roman and <v Speaker 2>Kevin Owens is going away very quickly, Like it really <v Speaker 2>really sucks the life out of Kevin Owens and Roman <v Speaker 2>Reigns the week of the Rumble when they're gonna have <v Speaker 2>their match just five days later. That's the biggest fatal flaw, <v Speaker 2>I would say, because it doesn't make sense that they <v Speaker 2>would do that. It's just not fair to that match <v Speaker 2>and to those guys, especially Kevin, to completely overlook move <v Speaker 2>past the match before it even happens. If this segment <v Speaker 2>was happening the night after the Rumble, after Roman Reigns <v Speaker 2>had won and they're doing a massive acknowledgment ceremony for <v Speaker 2>his victory and all generations, then I say, oh my god, perfect, <v Speaker 2>the Rock's coming, very high likelihood. But given that this <v Speaker 2>is going to be the few days before the Rumble, <v Speaker 2>you'd almost never see WWE cannibalize a match that's just <v Speaker 2>about to happen for a match that is bigger. It's <v Speaker 2>not fair. I mean, I know that it's kind of <v Speaker 2>a whiny thing to say, but it's also not good <v Speaker 2>for business because you've built up this match for a while. <v Speaker 2>You want to see Kevin Owens challenge Room for the belt. <v Speaker 2>All of a sudden, the Rock comes out and you're thinking, Oh, <v Speaker 2>who the hell cares about Kevin and Roman? I want <v Speaker 2>Rock and Roman. You don't do that just before the match, <v Speaker 2>right after it? Fine, go ahead, have at it, you know, <v Speaker 2>knock yourself out. That is the biggest problem I have <v Speaker 2>with this. So yeah, that's why I think it's probably <v Speaker 2>gonna be Kevin Owens interrupting. Sammy's Ain continues to dissolve <v Speaker 2>with the bloodline, You'll continue to see things and hints <v Speaker 2>that things could break down. I think Samy's going to <v Speaker 2>be a part of the Rumble. Samy's going to be <v Speaker 2>one of the final four. You could even see Samy's <v Speaker 2>ay and win the damn thing. I think he's going <v Speaker 2>to be a very big crowd favorite if and when <v Speaker 2>Samy's Ain is announced for the Royal Rumble match, Sammy's <v Speaker 2>Ain is going to be a massive, massive babyface in <v Speaker 2>that matchup because the fans know what the implications are <v Speaker 2>if he wins, and how fun the storyline is going <v Speaker 2>to be heading into WRESTLEMANI if Sammy's Ain wins the Rumble, <v Speaker 2>so you know, I would say Sammy Zin is a <v Speaker 2>very high favorite. I think he's like number two behind <v Speaker 2>Cody Roads and the betting odds to win the Royal Rumble, <v Speaker 2>and with good reason. But anyway, back to your theory, Jeff, <v Speaker 2>I don't dislike it. Again, I'm not trying to put <v Speaker 2>it down, but I want to tamper expectations here of <v Speaker 2>this happening. But let's pretend it happened and the Rock <v Speaker 2>enters number thirty. Okay, let's pretend he appears next on Monday. <v Speaker 2>You know, he teases Rock Roman all that, and then <v Speaker 2>he enters the Rumble at number thirty. Another issue at this, <v Speaker 2>would you really want the Rock entering the Rumble to <v Speaker 2>and not only entering the Rumble but getting the easiest <v Speaker 2>position to win the Rumble and then going on to <v Speaker 2>face Roman Reigns. It doesn't also help the Rock because <v Speaker 2>you have the Rock who doesn't need this need the <v Speaker 2>Rumble to get to Roman. I mean, all Kevin Owens <v Speaker 2>had to do was bait Roman Reigns into an emotional decision. <v Speaker 2>Why should the Rock have to win the rumble to <v Speaker 2>get to Roman? And also it would do a disservice <v Speaker 2>to younger guys who could have that moment etched in <v Speaker 2>their career. The Rocks been there, done that. The Rock <v Speaker 2>doesn't need the Rumble, It's overkill. All the Rock has <v Speaker 2>to do is just literally walk out and just stare <v Speaker 2>at Roman reigns, and boom the match happens. I just <v Speaker 2>think it would be It would do a disservice to <v Speaker 2>the guys who I think deserve it, And actually I <v Speaker 2>think his fans would want Samy Zaying to win the <v Speaker 2>Rumble over the Rock. I know that some people like, <v Speaker 2>what are you talking about? The storyline is much more <v Speaker 2>fleshed out and developed with Sammy. Sammy's more invested here <v Speaker 2>than the Rock, who doesn't even exist yet. And you <v Speaker 2>have Samy Zain as this underdog fan favorite who hasn't <v Speaker 2>got the attention he's deserved. You know, him as champion <v Speaker 2>would be so much fun and all of that. Where <v Speaker 2>the Rock, you know, wins the Rumble. Okay, he takes <v Speaker 2>a spot away from a young guy that could really <v Speaker 2>use that as a staple for his career and a <v Speaker 2>launching a launch pad for his career. And then you know, <v Speaker 2>even when the Rock gets to the gets the WrestleMania <v Speaker 2>to face Roman, he's not gonna win the belt anyway, <v Speaker 2>So it's like, you know, just give us the match <v Speaker 2>without the rumble being sacrificed at the altar of the rock. <v Speaker 2>It doesn't, it's unnecessary. So but Jeff, I'm not saying <v Speaker 2>this is impossible. I'm not trying to put down your stuff, <v Speaker 2>but I mean, you asked me to pull holes in it. <v Speaker 2>But I'm also getting you realistic expectations of what I think. <v Speaker 2>I could be totally wrong. They do this totally but <v Speaker 2>things are about to get real fun, real quick around here. Okay, <v Speaker 2>thanks Jeff, and let's get to our next email. All right, <v Speaker 2>mister Djkuzmo, who says, hello, w and AW fan, this <v Speaker 2>is DJ Cuzmo, back at it again in your mail <v Speaker 2>bag show. Here we go. Some random thoughts. Number one <v Speaker 2>kind of random that Raw is having a steel cage <v Speaker 2>match next week with Bailey and Becky Lynch when there <v Speaker 2>really isn't any storyline between them as to why they <v Speaker 2>don't like each other. I guess probably this view might <v Speaker 2>end after the steel cage match on next week's Raw thirty. <v Speaker 5>Yeah. <v Speaker 2>I brought this up in my Raw review. DJ. <v Speaker 6>This is. <v Speaker 2>I respect both women so much in what they've accomplished, <v Speaker 2>and both are Hall of Famers already, and in their <v Speaker 2>past their programs have been fun. This one feels baseless, <v Speaker 2>it feels empty, it feels forced, and it's weird saying <v Speaker 2>that with these two, but it's like it's almost just like, Okay, <v Speaker 2>I'm a babyface, you're a heel, and let's just kind <v Speaker 2>of create something out of nothing to get people to care. <v Speaker 2>And then they're trying to gimmick it up to get <v Speaker 2>the interest up in putting a steel cage match in it. <v Speaker 2>There's nothing here, I fully hope and suspect that after <v Speaker 2>this cage match that is completely unnecessary and tells you <v Speaker 2>they need a crutch to get people to care about <v Speaker 2>this is after this, it's over. I mean, let's just <v Speaker 2>just move on. Really, no one seems emotionally invested and <v Speaker 2>they it's just it's really I don't know whose fault <v Speaker 2>it is, but this one it's just oil and water <v Speaker 2>doesn't work. And hopefully after next week it's over and <v Speaker 2>they just move on to what they really should be doing, <v Speaker 2>and that's focusing on WrestleMania number two. Remember when z <v Speaker 2>Ilee was revealed to be the mysterious person that interfered <v Speaker 2>in the women's tag title match on SmackDown, helping Damage <v Speaker 2>Control get the victory. It's kind of random that she <v Speaker 2>reverted back to her karate style gimmick and there's no <v Speaker 2>continuation of the storyline between her and Damage Control. I <v Speaker 2>think there's a couple of reasons for that. Number One, <v Speaker 2>I think Damage Control is about to be dissolved. I <v Speaker 2>know they're the women's tag team champions, remember that. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>sad that they keep doing this to the women's belts, <v Speaker 2>But I think that the tag belts are about to <v Speaker 2>go away. Right so far that this team is about <v Speaker 2>to go away, I should say anxiety. They just don't <v Speaker 2>know what the hell to do with how many times <v Speaker 2>do we see her come out look like Raiden Pro <v Speaker 2>Mortal Kombat selling Chase's The Protector was a baby face, <v Speaker 2>turned heel back to a babyface, interfered the tag team <v Speaker 2>title match, and then just back to karate style. I <v Speaker 2>have no idea who in what she is. She doesn't <v Speaker 2>know who in what she is. They don't know what <v Speaker 2>to do. That's the problem. Number Three. There's a SmackDown <v Speaker 2>Tag Team title tournament for the number one contender spot <v Speaker 2>happening this Friday. It's kind of random that this is <v Speaker 2>happening this week. We're on Raw. We got the Raw <v Speaker 2>tag team titles match next week between the USOS and <v Speaker 2>Judgment Day. It seems like they are writing the writing <v Speaker 2>is on the wall that the USO's dropped one or <v Speaker 2>both of the tag team championships. I think one of them. <v Speaker 2>I think that they want to keep the street going <v Speaker 2>for the smack Down. I think there's a fifty to <v Speaker 2>fifty chance, if not better, that they lose the Raw <v Speaker 2>tag team titles to the Judgment Day next week, because <v Speaker 2>the Judgment Day I think could really benefit from those <v Speaker 2>tag belts. You put gold on a heel group, it <v Speaker 2>always works well. They were on a roll. You could <v Speaker 2>implement the freebird rules with that team with the tag titles, <v Speaker 2>and I think that the SmackDown tag titles are really <v Speaker 2>the home for the USOS where they dropped them to <v Speaker 2>Sammy and Kevin at WrestleMania. I continue to say that <v Speaker 2>if Sammy doesn't win the Rumble. By the way, and <v Speaker 2>by the way, they just randomly split the belts. There <v Speaker 2>was no explanation at all none. They just decided, oh yeah, <v Speaker 2>they're no longer unified. Okay, Number four. Kind of random <v Speaker 2>how Solo and the USOS came in for the quote <v Speaker 2>save during the samis Ain versus Kevin Owens main event <v Speaker 2>this past Friday. I thought it was Sammy's opportunity to <v Speaker 2>win one for the blood Line on his own and <v Speaker 2>not have the Bloodline come to his rescue. And by <v Speaker 2>the way, did you see Sammy's Ain's facials when the <v Speaker 2>Bloodline interrupted, Because his facial say it all. Yeah. I <v Speaker 2>brought this up on my review show too. On Raw. <v Speaker 2>Sammy's Ain's facials really sold the entire thing and it <v Speaker 2>was very, very interesting that the Bloodline came in at <v Speaker 2>a time when Sammy had the match in control. I <v Speaker 2>think it was Roman reign sending a message to Sammy's <v Speaker 2>Ain that he's the one in control, that he's the <v Speaker 2>one that wants to get the spotlight, that he is <v Speaker 2>the one that wants to beat Kevin, because I think <v Speaker 2>in character, Roman's character feels threatened by Sammy Zain and <v Speaker 2>that's where this whole thing's going to come crashing down. <v Speaker 2>Number five just an opinion, but I prefer the pairing <v Speaker 2>of Bronson, Reed and the Miz rather than the pairing <v Speaker 2>of jbl and Corbin aka Baron Corbin or a boring <v Speaker 2>boring Corbin. I call him boring Baron to me. Corbin <v Speaker 2>doesn't need someone to speak for him or get the <v Speaker 2>rub from JBL. Corbin can speak for himself. And at <v Speaker 2>times it see like JBL is getting more over than Corbyn. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>that's exactly my point, TJ. I've been preaching that too. <v Speaker 2>It's like JBL is the one getting the heat. I <v Speaker 2>know that they're trying to bring out a legend to <v Speaker 2>make Corbyn more relevant, but they just still don't feel <v Speaker 2>like they mesh JBL and Corbyn. Just I understand the idea, <v Speaker 2>and they're thinking maybe the longer they go, the more <v Speaker 2>that it'll catch on. I don't hate the pairing. I <v Speaker 2>just don't feel it, that's all. JBL is a great <v Speaker 2>heel JBL can you know he can still generate heat <v Speaker 2>very well. But the problem is JBL's heat isn't transferring <v Speaker 2>to Corbin, and Corbin was never bad on the mic <v Speaker 2>to begin with. You're right, but Corbin just is kind <v Speaker 2>of a lost lost puppy right now. And I'm not <v Speaker 2>saying he should be fired, but there's just something missing <v Speaker 2>for sure, and JBL is not that missing piece. Okay, <v Speaker 2>number five. Wait, no, no, no, we're continuing one point five. <v Speaker 2>On the flip side, Bronson Reid and the Miz could <v Speaker 2>make a good alliance like back in the day when <v Speaker 2>Harley Race used to manage Big Van Vader aka Vader <v Speaker 2>in WCW. Nothing against the Miss is in ring ability, <v Speaker 2>but I see he could become a potential manager for <v Speaker 2>Bronson Reid and putting him over since Bronson Reid hasn't <v Speaker 2>really spoken much and he doesn't have a connection with <v Speaker 2>the crowd yet. Like I said, it's just my opinion. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>I actually wish that the Miz had transferred to a <v Speaker 2>managerial position years ago. The Miz is good in the ring, <v Speaker 2>He's really good on the mic, but the Miz has <v Speaker 2>We have seen the Miss's potential. We have seen it <v Speaker 2>capped out. I'm sorry we have. If you're a mis fan, <v Speaker 2>I think that we have seen the best days of <v Speaker 2>the Miss. I don't think he will ever capture a <v Speaker 2>top belt again in terms of top top top championship <v Speaker 2>WWEI E Universal. I think those days are gone. The <v Speaker 2>Miss is a much and yet at the same time, <v Speaker 2>he looks like he has twenty years left then him <v Speaker 2>because he doesn't age, but right now I think that <v Speaker 2>Miz is a and when he does retire, is a <v Speaker 2>perfect candidate for a managerial role. Six and yeah, the <v Speaker 2>breaking news Cody Roads declaring for the Rumble was pretty obvious. <v Speaker 2>I was not surprised because it was a foregone conclusion <v Speaker 2>he was going to show up anyway, signing off DJ <v Speaker 2>Cuzmo piece. So yeah, like we all kind of knew that, <v Speaker 2>right Like it was the worst kept secret in professional <v Speaker 2>wrestling over the last six months. Is Cody Rhodes coming <v Speaker 2>back for the Rumble? I mean, we knew that it <v Speaker 2>wasn't going to be a surprise, and they just decided, Okay, well, <v Speaker 2>we're not going to pretend it's a surprise because everyone <v Speaker 2>knows anyway, and they've known for the last six months. <v Speaker 2>But the question now is not as Cody Road is <v Speaker 2>going to appear, is he going to win? That's the key. <v Speaker 2>I think he's still a heavy favorite, But I don't <v Speaker 2>think it's a bregone conclusion, because don't forget there's more <v Speaker 2>than one way to get to the main event of WrestleMania. <v Speaker 2>It's not just the Rumble. It's not Rumble or Bust, <v Speaker 2>It's not rumble or bust. It is rumble or option two, <v Speaker 2>which is just attack the champion. Don't forget. That's like <v Speaker 2>the tried and true formula. Guys. All right, thanks DJ, <v Speaker 2>and let's see here. H don't know if we have <v Speaker 2>anybody else, but guys, I'm recording this a little earlier <v Speaker 2>on a Wednesday than I normally do. So in the <v Speaker 2>order in which they come in from patrons is the <v Speaker 2>order in which I read them. So if I'm reading <v Speaker 2>a non Patreon email and you're thinking I put one in, <v Speaker 2>I'll get to them as I get later in the night. <v Speaker 2>I'm recording this through multiple hours of the day. Okay, <v Speaker 2>so keep that in mind. But let's move on to <v Speaker 2>somebody who is not in the Patreon realm, and let's <v Speaker 2>let's see here. Let's talk to Let's talk to Jackson <v Speaker 2>from Melbourne. He says, sorry, I've been absent. Haven't listened <v Speaker 2>to the podcast or tuned into any wrestling since late December, <v Speaker 2>as I took a trip to Thailand with my family <v Speaker 2>and got engaged to my girlfriend over there on our anniversary. <v Speaker 2>We were able to watch the YouTube shorts of the <v Speaker 2>matches that WDE posted, but to share it to get <v Speaker 2>a grasp of the landscape from WWE from just that. Well, <v Speaker 2>first of all, congratulations, I started tuning in again from <v Speaker 2>this most recent SmackDown when I returned to Australia, and <v Speaker 2>one thing I wanted to point out that anyone from <v Speaker 2>your podcast or the Wrestling Inc Podcast seem to have <v Speaker 2>missed is that when Adam Pearce spoke about the tag <v Speaker 2>team turmoil to Drew and Seamus, is that he set <v Speaker 2>it for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships. So pending seeing <v Speaker 2>the other teams in turmoil, I have Drew and Seamus <v Speaker 2>winning it and taking the SmackDown Tag Team Championships off <v Speaker 2>the USOS, so they're no longer unified. I actually I <v Speaker 2>like Seamus and Drew as a team. It's nice to <v Speaker 2>see him as a team instead of opponents. It's a <v Speaker 2>nice change. They have real life, real life friendship that <v Speaker 2>is well documented. I don't think though, if you're going <v Speaker 2>to ask me if the Judgment Day or Drew and <v Speaker 2>Seamus are more likely to take one of the belts <v Speaker 2>off the USOS, I think the Judgment Day is because <v Speaker 2>the USSOS around a five hundred plus day streak, longest <v Speaker 2>running tag team champions of all time. I think that <v Speaker 2>it's again Sammy and Ko who take the belts off <v Speaker 2>of them, the SmackDown belts, which seem to be the <v Speaker 2>ones that I don't know, feel more important to them <v Speaker 2>than the other ones. But I think that right now <v Speaker 2>you're gonna You're right, You're gonna have one of those <v Speaker 2>belts be dropped. But I think it's the raw ones <v Speaker 2>to the judgment day. That's my personal take. Also, I <v Speaker 2>find it weird how Bray Wyatt said that he is <v Speaker 2>Uncle Howdy said that he is Uncle Howdy the spite <v Speaker 2>in the last few weeks we've seen him and Uncle <v Speaker 2>Howdy side by side. I don't know if I've missed <v Speaker 2>anything in that regard, but as Bray usually leaves most <v Speaker 2>people after that promo, I'm more confused than I was before. <v Speaker 2>I Did I miss something? Did Bray say that he <v Speaker 2>is Uncle Howdy? <v Speaker 7>Yet? <v Speaker 2>I might have missed that. From what I remember, Bray <v Speaker 2>said that he's going to rebel in what he is, <v Speaker 2>that the dark side of him is gonna come out. <v Speaker 2>I don't think he. I could be totally wrong, Jackson, <v Speaker 2>I could be totally wrong, and I missed it because <v Speaker 2>Bray Wyatt promos. I don't tune out, but I just <v Speaker 2>kind of get the gist and I don't try to <v Speaker 2>dive in too much because I honestly don't have the <v Speaker 2>time to sit and do a thesis on his promos. <v Speaker 2>I just don't. Some people love to dissect and try <v Speaker 2>to get into the nitty gritty of what he's saying <v Speaker 2>and decode it, you know, like it's Da Vinci code. <v Speaker 2>I don't do that, So if he said it, I <v Speaker 2>missed it. But yeah, sometimes I leave. Most of the time. <v Speaker 2>I leave Bray Wyatt promos more confused and I went in. <v Speaker 2>But I think he's thinking. I think he believes that <v Speaker 2>being deep in promos and being cryptic is more fun. <v Speaker 2>I don't think it is, honestly okay and mean. Regards <v Speaker 2>to your comments about Raquel's potential he turn, I personally <v Speaker 2>think she is much better as the heel than a face. <v Speaker 2>If you look at her work in NXT alongside Dakota Kai, <v Speaker 2>she just delivered each week on what a heel is <v Speaker 2>supposed to be, and I'm excited for a heel turn there. Yeah. Again, <v Speaker 2>we'll have to see week by week here. If Raquel <v Speaker 2>is continuing to show heel tendencies, or if that was <v Speaker 2>just kind of a one off, weird anomalous booking of <v Speaker 2>her character last week where she was a little bit <v Speaker 2>egotistical and making fun of Libbs size and toying with <v Speaker 2>her in the match this past week on SmackDown. But <v Speaker 2>I think that with Charlotte Flair going babyface, that Raquel <v Speaker 2>Rodriguez going heel would be a nice kind of balancing <v Speaker 2>act where now you have Charlotte able to work with <v Speaker 2>someone new and an actual threat to her championship. I <v Speaker 2>like it. Okay, the potential buyout of WWE, which I <v Speaker 2>think will happen, would be in U be best in <v Speaker 2>Disney's hand. Just a personal opinion, but I think we <v Speaker 2>wouldn't see many on screen changes. And I've heard reports <v Speaker 2>that Vince wants to sell to someone or a company <v Speaker 2>that will keep him on the company side of things <v Speaker 2>in Triple H as head of creative. Yeah again, I've <v Speaker 2>heard Disney. Disney's Name's been thrown out there for the <v Speaker 2>last couple of years now, and I'm concerned. Okay, let's <v Speaker 2>pretend that Disney bought WWE. I have concerns about Disney, <v Speaker 2>and the reason is, and this is concerns with really <v Speaker 2>any major corporation that buys WWE, not just exclusive to Disney, <v Speaker 2>is that a lot of their content now in today's <v Speaker 2>political and cultural climate, is politically driven, Okay, their ideologies <v Speaker 2>are seeped in and baked into the product. And my <v Speaker 2>concern would be with Disney there or really anybody, because <v Speaker 2>if you have that much money, you have a lot <v Speaker 2>of political and cultural influence to buy WWE, okay, is <v Speaker 2>that whoever buys, including Disney, that they would bake in <v Speaker 2>some of their political ideological beliefs into the product that <v Speaker 2>would come on camera. And I hate that. I don't <v Speaker 2>care what aisle you fall on, what side you know, <v Speaker 2>you're on the left, you're on the right, or whatever. <v Speaker 2>I don't want any of it in my stuff, none <v Speaker 2>of it. It should just be independent and completely exempt <v Speaker 2>from that garbage. And I mean that on either end, <v Speaker 2>your political ideology should stay the hell out of wrestling. <v Speaker 2>And that's my concern into in today's world. That's my <v Speaker 2>largest concern is that. Okay, anyway, that's all far I <v Speaker 2>have for now. Anything interesting happens around or an XTL right <v Speaker 2>in again. But I look forward to another year of <v Speaker 2>listening to the podcast and disagreeing with almost anything you say. <v Speaker 2>It's good. I like that. I don't mean to be confrontational, <v Speaker 2>but I like when people hate my opinions. Diversity of <v Speaker 2>opinions awesome. And I like how you really you hate <v Speaker 2>what I Well, you don't hate, but you disagree with <v Speaker 2>a lot of what I have to say. You continue <v Speaker 2>to listen and you write in respectfully. That is something <v Speaker 2>that is a lost art in today's world. So thank <v Speaker 2>you Jackson for disagreeing with me. <v Speaker 8>It's cool. <v Speaker 5>I like it. <v Speaker 2>We're not the same. That's great. I don't mean that <v Speaker 2>sarcastic way either. I really do believe that. All right, <v Speaker 2>let's continue with the next email, and let's get to Tony, <v Speaker 2>Tony M and Lily. So let's go. You say hello, Hope, <v Speaker 2>all as well. I was watching SmackDown live from Green <v Speaker 2>Bay from my couch forty five minutes north of Green <v Speaker 2>Bay with my daughter. We were both wishing we were <v Speaker 2>at the live event to see Sammy versus Ko. It <v Speaker 2>was really a pretty decent episode of SmackDown, and we <v Speaker 2>thought the crowd sounded rowdy and excited for the show. Anyway, <v Speaker 2>we wanted your thoughts on Bray Wyatt's entrance. Overall, we <v Speaker 2>are a fan of his and I was very excited <v Speaker 2>when he returned. And all I like how his music <v Speaker 2>hits the lights going out and the slow build with <v Speaker 2>the chime in the beginning. That's all great once the <v Speaker 2>music actually gets going. Can we maybe speed up the <v Speaker 2>walk with the lantern to the ring? I get the <v Speaker 2>build up and all, but his segment on this particular <v Speaker 2>episode of SmackDown may have actually been shorter than his <v Speaker 2>entrance to the ring. Are we overreacting? <v Speaker 9>No? <v Speaker 2>No, Tony and Lili, you guys are not overreacting. And <v Speaker 2>you could say the same thing about many entrances in <v Speaker 2>WW over the years Undertaker. I mean, how many Sometimes <v Speaker 2>Undertaker's entrances were longer than the match. Same with Roman reigns. Now, <v Speaker 2>how long is Roman reigns his entrance? For God's sake? <v Speaker 2>You know, like a there's entrances over the years that <v Speaker 2>just are unnecessarily long. But some of them, you know, <v Speaker 2>you look at and go, it's still a cool entrance. <v Speaker 2>And Braise, I agree, could be sped up a little bit. <v Speaker 2>I like the music, I understand, like I like the door, <v Speaker 2>the light shining through the door. He takes his time <v Speaker 2>getting through the ring. But yeah, like maybe he could <v Speaker 2>speed up his walk a little bit, but I don't <v Speaker 2>think they'll do it. They think that it's the ambiance, <v Speaker 2>the people with the cell phones with their lights in <v Speaker 2>the air and all that. They like the visual of that. <v Speaker 2>But imagine this, Just think about this. How about a <v Speaker 2>triple threat with the Undertaker, Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt. <v Speaker 2>Imagine that and think about I bet you could place <v Speaker 2>bets on if the match will be longer or if <v Speaker 2>the entrances combined would be longer. I mean, so there <v Speaker 2>have been I agree that it is a little bit <v Speaker 2>long to watch. I actually on Hulu, which is how <v Speaker 2>I watched SmackDown and Raw. I skip through the entrance <v Speaker 2>because it's cool, Like I've seen it. If you've seen <v Speaker 2>it once, you've seen it a hundred times. And I <v Speaker 2>skip through it just to get to whatever he's about <v Speaker 2>to say, because it does take up several minutes that <v Speaker 2>sometimes you don't have. But all right, Tony, thank you, <v Speaker 2>ed Lily. You know, hope you guys enjoy the rest <v Speaker 2>of the Rumble season and into WrestleMania. And yeah, I mean, <v Speaker 2>if you were that close to Green Bay, I bet <v Speaker 2>you do wish you were there for that match. All right, <v Speaker 2>let's get to our next email, and this one comes <v Speaker 2>to us from Rocky Tea. He's checking in once again <v Speaker 2>and it's time for Rocky Tea's rapid fire. We had <v Speaker 2>a lot of bullets there tonight. All right. Uh So, <v Speaker 2>to comment on what Randy from La said last week <v Speaker 2>about Bailey's body, I noticed it too. Bailey got a <v Speaker 2>booty or she got booty. Yeah. I actually think that <v Speaker 2>her thighs look thicker. To your point, Matt, I think <v Speaker 2>during her rehab she gained more muscle on her lower body. Yeah. <v Speaker 2>To me, this is really a non factor. <v Speaker 5>Though. <v Speaker 2>I like the fact that she's a thicker girl. Okay. <v Speaker 2>I don't need everyone looking like they just walked off <v Speaker 2>the Olympic gymnastics team, Okay. I don't need that. We <v Speaker 2>have enough of those bodies and there's nothing wrong with it. <v Speaker 2>But when you see a body that looks different, it's <v Speaker 2>an asset, I think. And yeah, it's not fat, okay, <v Speaker 2>And she doesn't look super like toned, but she's clearly <v Speaker 2>added muscle. Bailey's always been muscular. There's even a famous <v Speaker 2>TikTok or something going around where somebody had a sign <v Speaker 2>up at a house show that said I came to <v Speaker 2>for Bailey's ass or something just so that they could <v Speaker 2>see it in person. I mean, she is a shapely person, <v Speaker 2>let me just say that, and I mean that in <v Speaker 2>a very complimentary way, and so, yeah, I have no <v Speaker 2>problem with it. To me, it's like a non issue. <v Speaker 2>It is. Is it something noticeable if you put her <v Speaker 2>pictures side by side. Yeah, but it's a non factor <v Speaker 2>for me. I care much more about what her character's <v Speaker 2>doing and what her matches are like. So but yeah, no, <v Speaker 2>it's noticeable, all right. Sammy's ay delivers an absolute jaw dropping, <v Speaker 2>picture perfect death defying brainbuster on the apron to Ko. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>these two have. These two have the utmost trust in <v Speaker 2>each other to not paralyze or kill one another. And <v Speaker 2>guys often that are best friends off camera put on <v Speaker 2>the best matches in the ring because they're the most comfortable. <v Speaker 2>They don't have to worry about anything. They understand the <v Speaker 2>ins and outs of that individual's work and their style <v Speaker 2>and their maneuvers and all their move set. And more <v Speaker 2>often than we see it with what Drew and Shamus, <v Speaker 2>how many great matches have you seen those two put <v Speaker 2>on You know, it's not always the case. You see <v Speaker 2>guys that are actually foes and women that are foes <v Speaker 2>that put on great matches. Bailey and Becky put on <v Speaker 2>great matches together. I'm sorry, Becky and Charlotte. Rather, I <v Speaker 2>meant put on great matches together. We've seen Brett hard <v Speaker 2>and Shawn Michaels back in the day put on great <v Speaker 2>matches together, and they didn't like each other personally, but <v Speaker 2>I think more often than not it lends itself to <v Speaker 2>be a better match when they're actually real friends in <v Speaker 2>real life. So Santino Morella debuts as quote director of <v Speaker 2>Authority for Impact Wrestling. Okay, no idea. I'll say, as <v Speaker 2>long as Santino or Santina Morella do not make debuts <v Speaker 2>in the Rumble, I'm good. I had Ruby Soho to <v Speaker 2>Mimi Burris's Best Bleeders Club. If you didn't see the <v Speaker 2>tag team street fight at AEW Dynamite last week, check <v Speaker 2>it out. I heard about this, Yeah, I heard up <v Speaker 2>Ruby Soho. You know Ruby right in WW. I heard <v Speaker 2>about that. I heard. I had not seen any images, <v Speaker 2>but I'm going to dig them up. Also about the <v Speaker 2>possible formation of a new hurt business with Omas joining. <v Speaker 2>You might not remember, but I proposed this happening back <v Speaker 2>on the mail bag in episode one oh six. I <v Speaker 2>don't remember, Rocky. I mean, I can't remember what I <v Speaker 2>said five minutes ago, much less I said what ten <v Speaker 2>episodes ago. So but thank you for reminding me. I'll <v Speaker 2>take you at face value, and I think you win today. <v Speaker 2>Because if that's the case, and you're right, Omas joining <v Speaker 2>the Hert business is and something I think could be <v Speaker 2>an asset. It'll certainly give a lot of something to <v Speaker 2>do besides squash people and be a far part of <v Speaker 2>a faction. I think that's a nice change for Omas. <v Speaker 2>All right, let's get to d mister Dennis McGinley, who's <v Speaker 2>on the Patreon side of things, and he says, this <v Speaker 2>is Dennis McGinley, the top of the line of the <v Speaker 2>ww podcast. Yes, back again the hater or you can hate. <v Speaker 2>I'm still your number one heel. Nothing's going to change <v Speaker 2>that for you kids. So Matt, with this link, I <v Speaker 2>did click on it. I have heard that Vince McMahon <v Speaker 2>may sell w to Saudi Arabia. What do you what <v Speaker 2>would that do with watching WWE on Hulu? The next <v Speaker 2>day for me and others watch it on Hulu. I <v Speaker 2>honestly like, I don't think it would have any effect. <v Speaker 2>I mean, we've gone through the Saudi Arabia thing at <v Speaker 2>length here and until it happens, I don't want to <v Speaker 2>speculate on anything. There's too many variables. I've heard AWB <v Speaker 2>a contender. I even made a video on that of <v Speaker 2>AEW being a possible buyer for WWE. I don't think <v Speaker 2>it'll happen, but they're in the they're in the hunt <v Speaker 2>now WW being bought by Saudi Arabia. Would it happen <v Speaker 2>the impact on Hulu the next day, I wouldn't think so. <v Speaker 2>That would that would be a really awful thing to do, <v Speaker 2>really a bad business decision. If Saudi Arabia decides, well, <v Speaker 2>you know, we own WW now and those those US <v Speaker 2>fans that watch it on Hulu the next day, we're <v Speaker 2>gonna we're gonna take that away because guess what streaming <v Speaker 2>is here to stay. I would argue that Hulu numbers <v Speaker 2>have gone up while the TV ratings have gone down generally. <v Speaker 2>I mean, people still have cable packages and things, but <v Speaker 2>I think a lot of people watch on delay on Hulu. <v Speaker 2>A lot. I don't know the numbers, but it can't <v Speaker 2>be going down. It's got to be going up, especially <v Speaker 2>when you talk Monday Night Raw, where Raw goes from <v Speaker 2>three hours to ninety minutes with no commercial breaks on Hulu. <v Speaker 2>I mean, it's certainly a much more appetizing, palatable option <v Speaker 2>versus three hours plus commercials. Matt, you talk with you <v Speaker 2>next week. And for all you dumb skulls, I see <v Speaker 2>you in the squared circle. No video game to beat <v Speaker 2>you down so you are unable to watch in April <v Speaker 2>on Wrestle At Wrestle Many thirty nine, I'm gonna come <v Speaker 2>find each and every one of you Patreon numbskulls and <v Speaker 2>bring you to the ring to do this. I am <v Speaker 2>not anyone's daddy, and don't take anyone's words. I have <v Speaker 2>beat the biggest and baddest, So bring it, kids. Go Bucks, <v Speaker 2>well Bucks, if you're a Tampa I'm imagining you're talking <v Speaker 2>about the Tampa Bay Bucks. Dennis and things did not <v Speaker 2>farewell against the Cowboys, but to be fair, they shouldn't. <v Speaker 2>I mean, they have an under five hundred record and <v Speaker 2>they were there by smoking mirrors. Had they won a <v Speaker 2>lot of games that they shouldn't have won, particularly the <v Speaker 2>one against the Saints. Okay, they should not have been <v Speaker 2>there to begin with. You know, and I know Tom <v Speaker 2>Brady's the quarterback, but he couldn't muster much of an <v Speaker 2>offense outside of the last couple of touchdowns that really <v Speaker 2>meant nothing. And you know, they were just beaten by <v Speaker 2>a simply better team. There's no shame in that. I <v Speaker 2>know that. That the whole record of Oh, tom Brady's <v Speaker 2>unefeated against the Cowboys. Yeah, but when he was against <v Speaker 2>the Cowboys with a much more complete team around him, <v Speaker 2>with wide receivers, he could rely on tight ends, he <v Speaker 2>could rely on you know, like, of course that's a <v Speaker 2>stat that's a little bit skewed because he wasn't with <v Speaker 2>the Bucks when he defeated them. So that said the Bucks, <v Speaker 2>I'm sorry they Yeah, it knows nobody's surprise. But uh, <v Speaker 2>thank you Dennis for your for your input. All right, <v Speaker 2>let's continue here. We've got a few more emails, and <v Speaker 2>where do we go next. I'm gonna flip the coin here. <v Speaker 2>Let's go with Levi Levi Graham and he says, hope <v Speaker 2>Paul's well today, I will make it quick. So in <v Speaker 2>my last email, I said that the breakout star of <v Speaker 2>the year this year would be La Knight, and I'm <v Speaker 2>still here to talk about La Knight. So everybody has <v Speaker 2>been speculating about who Steve Austin will face. Some people <v Speaker 2>say he will face see Us, some say Punk, some <v Speaker 2>say Brock, but I think it will be La Knight. Yeah. <v Speaker 2>The promos would be insane, it would keep him insanely relevant, <v Speaker 2>and it would basically give him the same rub to <v Speaker 2>the to l A Knight as it did for Owens, <v Speaker 2>And the match would be insane. That's all for today. <v Speaker 2>Stay safe, pro wrestling fan O, pro wrestling lovers, Well, LEVI, <v Speaker 2>I don't hate this on paper, but here's the thing. <v Speaker 2>Do you think La Knight is the one guy that <v Speaker 2>has tempted Austin to Austin come back for yet another match, <v Speaker 2>and this time I believe it's a true match at <v Speaker 2>WrestleMania thirty nine. Again unconfirmed, but based on all of <v Speaker 2>his Instagram posts he's been putting out the last several months, <v Speaker 2>he's had much more time to prepare slim down and <v Speaker 2>you know, not wear a T shirt to the ring <v Speaker 2>and all that and look like Stone Cold of ninety <v Speaker 2>nine to the best he can, of course, but I <v Speaker 2>don't think La Knight's the guy that Stone Cold is <v Speaker 2>looking towards for. Like, hey man, you know, if I'm <v Speaker 2>gonna come back and have one last true match, it's <v Speaker 2>gotta be l A Knight. Like it doesn't make sense, <v Speaker 2>doesn't add up. Okay, La Knight is a star on <v Speaker 2>the rise. I understand your thought process, and you're reasoning <v Speaker 2>for Stone Cold and the rub and all that. But <v Speaker 2>here's the thing. Owens was already established, an established big star, <v Speaker 2>major star. Dare I say in WWE versus La Knight, <v Speaker 2>who most fans didn't even know until he came up <v Speaker 2>and started feuding with Bray Wyatt what like a few <v Speaker 2>months ago. I mean, there's a huge difference between Ko <v Speaker 2>and La Knight versus much less Stone Cold. See Boston <v Speaker 2>versus La Knight. I have no problem with this match <v Speaker 2>actually happening, if it ever did, but it shouldn't be <v Speaker 2>at WrestleMania. Like, you know, if it happened, it would <v Speaker 2>be like on a Monday Night Raw and like a <v Speaker 2>quick match I think, where you know, he puts a <v Speaker 2>beating on Austin for a few minutes and then Austin <v Speaker 2>comes back stops a mudholes, stunner, beer and good night <v Speaker 2>to lights. Like. That's fine. I'm not saying Barry La <v Speaker 2>Knight give him some offense in that quick match, but <v Speaker 2>it's not a it's not a match that should happen <v Speaker 2>on a pay per view again Monday night, ra after WrestleMania, <v Speaker 2>you want to have Austin and yet another quick match <v Speaker 2>that's just fun but gives La Knight some time to <v Speaker 2>shine in and give them the rub. Sure, but for <v Speaker 2>WrestleMania thirty nine in Hollywood with millions of people watching, <v Speaker 2>you can't tell me that La Knight is a bigger <v Speaker 2>match with Austin than Sina or Brock. These dream matches <v Speaker 2>people have wanted to see for twenty years versus a <v Speaker 2>match that what you mean we concocted in the last <v Speaker 2>couple of months. That's possible. I totally understand what you're saying. <v Speaker 2>I get it, but when you think in terms of WrestleMania, <v Speaker 2>it doesn't compare when you look at these other massive stars. <v Speaker 2>All right, well, thank you buddy, hope to hear from <v Speaker 2>you next week. Let's let's get to our last couple <v Speaker 2>of emails here, and let's talk to Kim Kimberly. Kimberly <v Speaker 2>s and she says, Hi, my name is Kimberly. I <v Speaker 2>listened to the podcast with my boyfriend from time to time. <v Speaker 2>Were last year? What do you mean time to time? <v Speaker 5>No? <v Speaker 2>No, no, no no, there's no time to time on this podcast, guys, <v Speaker 2>it's all or nothing. How dare you? I'm joking? Okay. <v Speaker 2>I remember hearing an episode mister Kanye Twity, a mister <v Speaker 2>casual wrestling fan about talking how missus and missus Kanye <v Speaker 2>Twitty and missus casual wrestling fan do not like Chad <v Speaker 2>Gable and how they leave the room when Alpha Academy's <v Speaker 2>music hits. Well. I like him to the point that <v Speaker 2>I have adopted his catchphrase. When my boyfriend gets on <v Speaker 2>my nerves, I tell him shoosh oooh boy, I'm gonna <v Speaker 2>lead hairstylist here in Houston, Texas. And I just love <v Speaker 2>how shiny AJ styles hair is. It's fabulous. This is <v Speaker 2>This has got to be a first for the show. <v Speaker 2>Some that is a badass elite hairstylist has come on <v Speaker 2>the show to write in This is a first, Kimberly, <v Speaker 2>so you know, congratulations on that. However, based on my hairstyle. <v Speaker 2>You wouldn't make a whole lot of money off me. <v Speaker 2>If you look at my logo, that's exactly how I look. Okay, <v Speaker 2>like no hair and it's not really by choice. And <v Speaker 2>if I grew my hair out, it would be hilarious. <v Speaker 2>It'd be embarrassing. People would look at me and get <v Speaker 2>second hand embarrassment if I didn't shave my head, But <v Speaker 2>it'd be hilarious at the same time. You know, I start, <v Speaker 2>it's so weird. I know we're not here to talk <v Speaker 2>about my hair. But very quickly, since we're on the <v Speaker 2>hair topic that I never talked about, I started like <v Speaker 2>losing my hairline around like twenty six, twenty seven, twenty eight. <v Speaker 2>I'm like, what the hell's going on? I'm effing in <v Speaker 2>my mid to late twenties, what the hell's going on? <v Speaker 2>And you know, then all of a sudden it started <v Speaker 2>to really thin on top. Around the sides is like <v Speaker 2>thick as hell, you know, but like on top, I'm like, <v Speaker 2>what is happening. Everyone in my family has a full <v Speaker 2>head of hair. My grandfather's ninety something. He died with <v Speaker 2>a full head of hair. The problem is, the rumor <v Speaker 2>is that your hairline comes from your mother's father, and <v Speaker 2>in my family, my mother's father had a receding hairline <v Speaker 2>pretty early, and you know, the rest is history. So <v Speaker 2>I'm not going to be doing any hairstyling anytime soon. <v Speaker 2>So I'm sorry that I can't, you know, be a <v Speaker 2>source of income for you heading down to Houston, Texas <v Speaker 2>if him in the area, I get my hair done <v Speaker 2>by you, Kim, I you know, unless I come in <v Speaker 2>for a nice like, you know, literally a shave of <v Speaker 2>the entire head. Okay, but the shush thing. If you're <v Speaker 2>shoshing your boyfriend now, I would imagine he's also a <v Speaker 2>wrestling fan. You said that you and your boyfriend listened <v Speaker 2>from time to time to the show, and if that's <v Speaker 2>the case, then I would imagine that again, he understands <v Speaker 2>the context of why you're saying shush, But how does <v Speaker 2>he take it? I guess that's the follow up. Does <v Speaker 2>he get super annoyed? Does it cause additional fights? I mean, like, <v Speaker 2>does it does it help? Does he does it break <v Speaker 2>the tension? What's the result of this? I mean, we <v Speaker 2>have to know this, Kim. As far as AJ styles goes, Yeah, <v Speaker 2>he's got fabulous here, no doubt. Also I'm very upset <v Speaker 2>because there's a dozen shirts for the Bloodline, hats and hoodies, <v Speaker 2>but no pants. We want the pants the Bloodline wears, <v Speaker 2>but there's no there nowhere to be found. Also, I <v Speaker 2>will be at the rumble going forward. Please call me <v Speaker 2>missus Rocky t oh Okay, well, Missus Rocky T. Not Kim, <v Speaker 2>Missus Rocky t oh. Well, Now I got it from Houston, Texas. <v Speaker 2>Also a Rocky T. Got it, got it? Got it? Okay, <v Speaker 2>you didn't reveal your identity until the very last line <v Speaker 2>of the email. Very clever. Well, Missus Rocky T. <v Speaker 3>That. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I'll be talking to your boyfriend for the podcast <v Speaker 2>for the review show. Looking forward to it. But yeah, <v Speaker 2>I don't know how they don't have pants. You'd imagine <v Speaker 2>that how successful this Bloodline group is that they would <v Speaker 2>monetize everything they could. I mean, they'd be creating pens <v Speaker 2>and you know, every possible thing you could wear, key <v Speaker 2>chains and shoes and like, this is a group that <v Speaker 2>does not come around very often, and we may not <v Speaker 2>see in our lifetimes a group and a title run <v Speaker 2>this long. Anybody that's listening within the sign of my voice, <v Speaker 2>I can bet the majority, not all, but the majority <v Speaker 2>of you listening have never had and experienced a title <v Speaker 2>rain this long. I haven't. Again, I'm not the measuring <v Speaker 2>stick by any means. I've been watching since ninety seven, <v Speaker 2>twenty five, Tony now almost twenty six years. But I'd <v Speaker 2>imagine that the most of most of you listening have <v Speaker 2>not experienced this, and that tells you that this is <v Speaker 2>likely something that's not going to happen again, maybe in <v Speaker 2>our lifetimes. So that said, my point is, yeah, you'd <v Speaker 2>think that they would be putting pants out there and <v Speaker 2>everything else. Certainly. Yeah, because the as much as of <v Speaker 2>a heel group as they are, they are a cash <v Speaker 2>cow for WWE right now. All right, thank you, Kim, <v Speaker 2>I mean missus Rocky Tea. So let's get too. Let's see, <v Speaker 2>let's get to our final email. Dare I say from <v Speaker 2>Zachary and he says, hi, WW podcast, Zachary, M I've <v Speaker 2>been listening for a couple of months now, and I <v Speaker 2>think that this is the best WB analysis on the web. <v Speaker 2>I'm sending this in to tell you about my Roman <v Speaker 2>reign's best case scenario. Well, thank you, Zach, I appreciate that. <v Speaker 2>I know. Look, we're not for everybody's taste. You know, <v Speaker 2>usually when you hear from people, when you hear from <v Speaker 2>anybody with you, if you run a business, you run <v Speaker 2>a podcast, whatever, most of the time, when you hear stuff, <v Speaker 2>it's bad, you know, Like usually that's when people want <v Speaker 2>to just go on and tell you what they think <v Speaker 2>and it's awful. And this is that. Oh yeah, I've <v Speaker 2>heard it all. I've heard everything about me from this <v Speaker 2>podcast is you know, or I talk too much or <v Speaker 2>I give too much of my opinion, which is howhilarious <v Speaker 2>because that's exactly what the definition of a podcast is, like, <v Speaker 2>its opinion from start to finish. Doesn't make any sense <v Speaker 2>to me. But also, I've heard I'm a racist. Gotta <v Speaker 2>love that one in twenty twenty three, right, the old Uh, <v Speaker 2>I don't like it, So I'm gonna call him a racist, <v Speaker 2>right because there's a lot of a lot of evidence <v Speaker 2>for that one. I'm sure. Yeah, I've heard it all <v Speaker 2>that this podcast, you know that, you know, we don't <v Speaker 2>know what we're talking about all this. I mean, I honestly, <v Speaker 2>he used to bother me. I could care less about <v Speaker 2>that stuff. But when people come on and and you know, <v Speaker 2>say say nice things, I try to focus on that, <v Speaker 2>and I really appreciate that. <v Speaker 10>Sac. <v Speaker 2>You know, we're not You're not gonna love everything we <v Speaker 2>do or say. You're not gonna love every opinion we have. <v Speaker 2>You probably won't. You know, maybe at times get angry <v Speaker 2>at what we say and really want to chime in. <v Speaker 2>But that's what this podcast is for. That's what this <v Speaker 2>mailbags for. Okay, so let's see I lost my lost, <v Speaker 2>my my path. Here we got oh the Rock wins <v Speaker 2>the rumble, he eliminates Roman, who is on the path <v Speaker 2>of destruction. Roman beats rocket Mania, but while the Bloodline <v Speaker 2>are celebrating, Sammy Zain tries to hit Roman with a <v Speaker 2>chair but is stopped by Solo Socoa. The Bloodline proceeds <v Speaker 2>to beat down Zane while Roman says that he will <v Speaker 2>always he always knew this would happen and that he <v Speaker 2>was prepared. The camera cuts and WrestleMania goes off the <v Speaker 2>air with a shot of Sammy bloodied and broken. In <v Speaker 2>the middle of the ring, Roman drops the belt to <v Speaker 2>seth rollins at WrestleMania forty. Sorry if this is a <v Speaker 2>long message, love the podcast by and stay Usie. Thanks <v Speaker 2>Zach and no, certainly not a too long of email. <v Speaker 2>Don't worry about it. Yeah, we're already talking about WrestleMania forty. <v Speaker 2>So I'll tell you this, sec you are the first <v Speaker 2>one to go out that far with the Roman Reigns run. <v Speaker 2>I'm still of the belief he will drop it at <v Speaker 2>SummerSlam this year after they get through the Thousand Days, <v Speaker 2>which is around Memorial Day this year or at the <v Speaker 2>end of May. They'll get past that, and then then <v Speaker 2>we can really start looking at wrestle or Summer Slam, <v Speaker 2>which they have billed as the WrestleMania of the summer. <v Speaker 2>So why not. It's a stadium show now and arguably <v Speaker 2>their second biggest show of the year. Not arguably it <v Speaker 2>is from a at least from an attendance perspective and <v Speaker 2>the way that they build it and all that, So <v Speaker 2>why not. I think Summer Slam is truly the next <v Speaker 2>destination of Roman Reigns really getting a solid chance to <v Speaker 2>lose the belt. That's that's my personal opinion. Of course, <v Speaker 2>we'll see and have a lot more answers in the <v Speaker 2>next week or two when we know if the Rock's <v Speaker 2>going to be in the rumble or not. Honestly, I mean, <v Speaker 2>I've said this before, but just to quickly quickly paraphrase, <v Speaker 2>I don't want the Rock in the Rumble. I mean <v Speaker 2>I don't. If you've heard this podcast before, you know <v Speaker 2>where I'm going with that. I don't. I don't think <v Speaker 2>it's a necessary step. I think it's totally unnecessary to <v Speaker 2>put the Rock in the Rumble for something that he <v Speaker 2>doesn't need the Rumble to get to, like the Royal <v Speaker 2>Rumble as a vehicle to get to Rock. Challenging Roman <v Speaker 2>is totally unnecessary and really, to me, takes an opportunity <v Speaker 2>away from somebody. And you may say, well, if the <v Speaker 2>Rock's in a face Roman, he has to win the Rumble. No, <v Speaker 2>because I think they're gonna split the championships. I think <v Speaker 2>it's gonna be the w W Championship coming to Raw, <v Speaker 2>where it's gonna be Cody versus Seth, and then I <v Speaker 2>think it's gonna be Rock Roman for the Universal Championship <v Speaker 2>on SmackDown. On the SmackDown side of things, I think <v Speaker 2>that's what's gonna happen personally, and they solve the issue <v Speaker 2>of the unified belts, put one belt back on Raw. <v Speaker 2>Roman still retains this streak, also beats the Rock, as <v Speaker 2>we all believe is gonna happen if the Rock shows <v Speaker 2>up anyway, And then we move on and Rock goes <v Speaker 2>back to Hollywood and we got the match we wanted. <v Speaker 2>But now, who's Roman's real next opponent? Yeah, that's so funny. <v Speaker 2>And Samy's ain could be that guy. He could be <v Speaker 2>the one to end the streak of Roman. Certainly he's <v Speaker 2>in the running. But seth Rawlins is also up there, <v Speaker 2>given their history, given the payback is that it's due <v Speaker 2>to Roman from Survivorssery of twenty one. So all right, <v Speaker 2>I'll leave it there, but thank you for that. And <v Speaker 2>guess what time it is, guys, it's time. It's time, <v Speaker 2>not Vader time, but it's voicemail time. <v Speaker 9>Hellow, podcast word, this is DJ Cousmo back at it <v Speaker 9>again on. <v Speaker 5>Your mail Max show. <v Speaker 9>Record to life once again on a Wednesday morning, on <v Speaker 9>a beautiful Wednesday morning. Before we get to the ver <v Speaker 9>my old report, a moment of silence, A quick moment <v Speaker 9>of silence for a recent passing of a great, incredible wrestler. <v Speaker 9>So a quick moment of silence. So last night it <v Speaker 9>was reported that none other than Jay Briscoe, one half <v Speaker 9>of the brisco Tag Team, one of the greatest tag <v Speaker 9>teams in the world today. Jay Briscoe passed at passed <v Speaker 9>away at the age of thirty. <v Speaker 5>Eight years old. <v Speaker 9>It was reported that he passed away via a car accident. <v Speaker 9>Now I don't know if that is sure or not, <v Speaker 9>but given the facts that he passed away so suddenly <v Speaker 9>at the age of thirty eight, leaving such a great <v Speaker 9>legacy in professional wrestling for over fifteen years in the industry, <v Speaker 9>over fifteen years in the industry, with him and his <v Speaker 9>brother Mark Briscoe. <v Speaker 5>Doing a damn good job in the tag. <v Speaker 9>Team division all over the world in Japan in ring <v Speaker 9>of honor and man to. <v Speaker 5>See to hear this news is so sad. It is <v Speaker 5>so sad to hear such a. <v Speaker 9>Huge loss, a huge loss with professional wrestling and a <v Speaker 9>guy by the name of Jay Briscoe. I did get <v Speaker 9>a chance to watch his match against FDR for the <v Speaker 9>Ringovar tag team titles in a dog collar match, an <v Speaker 9>absolute classic, absolute classic, absolute great ring psychology, and of <v Speaker 9>course they had. <v Speaker 5>To be blood. There were lots of blood in this match. <v Speaker 5>So if you didn't get a chance. <v Speaker 9>To see that match or any other classic match that <v Speaker 9>the Brisco's had over their career, a career spatting over <v Speaker 9>fifteen years. You gotta go check them out on YouTube <v Speaker 9>or wherever you get a chance to watch full matches. <v Speaker 9>But other than that, shout out to the Briscoe family. <v Speaker 9>Much prayer and support to the Briscoe family as we <v Speaker 9>won the loss of Jay Briscoe at the age of <v Speaker 9>thirty eight. <v Speaker 5>What have of the. <v Speaker 9>Greatest tag team in the world today, the Briscos. <v Speaker 5>Now, before we get to the beer my heart for <v Speaker 5>before we get there, I want to stake my claim. <v Speaker 9>Last week during the course of the mail bag, as <v Speaker 9>I was listening to the mail bag, I put in <v Speaker 9>the discord chat a heartfelt message. And this heart felt <v Speaker 9>message was to you guys and ladies that don't get <v Speaker 9>so caught up in the rumors. <v Speaker 5>Don't get so caught up and what's going on on Twitter. <v Speaker 9>As people are speculating at the end that the WW <v Speaker 9>is gonna get purchased by Saudi Arabia? <v Speaker 5>Are you kidding me? <v Speaker 9>Why would vis mcmad want to sell a company is <v Speaker 9>beloved w W to Saudi Arabia or even potentially a <v Speaker 9>w which is an absolute pipe dream. <v Speaker 5>Let's let's let's let's get that straight. It's an absolute <v Speaker 5>pipe dream if that were to happen. <v Speaker 9>Because w WE is the greatest, the number one professional <v Speaker 9>wrestling company in. <v Speaker 5>The world, in the world, so. <v Speaker 9>Why would Vis mc man want to do something like that. <v Speaker 9>Now we do more on the loss of the departure <v Speaker 9>of Stephanie McMahon. We will miss Stephanie mcmatt in w W. <v Speaker 9>But guys and ladies, let's not get so distracted on <v Speaker 9>the rumors. <v Speaker 5>Let's focus on the. <v Speaker 9>Fact that we're just one week away, one week away <v Speaker 9>to the Royal Rumble. Oh my goodness, one week away <v Speaker 9>till we get to see Cody Rose again. <v Speaker 5>One week away to one of the awesome. <v Speaker 9>Messages that we're gonna have with the Pitch Black match <v Speaker 9>with Bray White at LA nine. One week away to <v Speaker 9>the Royal Rumble. Aren't you excited about that? So g man, <v Speaker 9>I see you and everybody else. I see your concerned <v Speaker 9>and your frustration. But let's not get so caught up <v Speaker 9>at what we cannot control. Let's focus on the product. <v Speaker 9>Let's continue to invest in the product because the product <v Speaker 9>has done so. <v Speaker 5>Much for us over our lifetime. <v Speaker 9>We love wrestling, we enjoy wrestling, So guys and ladies, <v Speaker 9>let's not get caught up in the rumors. Let's stay <v Speaker 9>focused and let's get ready for the royal rumble. Now, <v Speaker 9>with that being said, I know I'm going over three <v Speaker 9>minutes of my time because I had to share this <v Speaker 9>with you guys. I had the shadows at you ladies <v Speaker 9>about my concern for you all getting so caught up <v Speaker 9>in the rumors. Now, let's get to your favorite show <v Speaker 9>to come on every single mailbag. And that's why we <v Speaker 9>don't take no breaks here because my guy vier Ma <v Speaker 9>Heart will continue to be reported even if he's not <v Speaker 9>on NXC or not. So let's get to the Verer <v Speaker 9>My Heart Report. Now, the vere my Heart Report has <v Speaker 9>been brought to. <v Speaker 5>You by that's right, my New York Football Gions. <v Speaker 9>What are the criminal playoff victree They had last this <v Speaker 9>past weekend against the Minnesota Vikings in a score of <v Speaker 9>thirty one to twenty four at Absolute Classic. There was <v Speaker 9>a lot of people saying that the Minnesota Vikings would <v Speaker 9>defeat the New York Giants, but the New Giants shocked <v Speaker 9>the world and defeated the Minnesota Vikings. <v Speaker 5>So shout out to my guy grim Reefer. Sorry for <v Speaker 5>your loss, my brother. <v Speaker 9>We have to continue on this playoff run and hopefully <v Speaker 9>we could get to the NFC Championship game. But other <v Speaker 9>than that, we at this coming weekend, what are the <v Speaker 9>biggest and toughest matches for my New York Football Giants. <v Speaker 5>So shout out to Elvis Escobar. <v Speaker 9>I hope you'll listen to my friend, because the New <v Speaker 9>York Giants are going up against those pisky damn Philadelphia <v Speaker 9>Eagles with their fly Eagles fly boo hoo. We don't <v Speaker 9>want you, we don't, we don't, we hate you, and <v Speaker 9>we can't stand you Philadelphia Eagle fans. So let's get <v Speaker 9>too before I get so carried away with football, because <v Speaker 9>this is not a football podcast, So shout out to <v Speaker 9>my career at his Football Function podcast. <v Speaker 5>Let's get back to the Vier Mahart Report. <v Speaker 9>Now, the Mahart Report took place last night on Lexi, <v Speaker 9>but we did not get an appearance of the end <v Speaker 9>this year, we did not get an appearance of my guy, <v Speaker 9>Verr Mahat and Sugup as vere Mahad continues to man <v Speaker 9>the laws of his father. As Vera Maha continues to <v Speaker 9>just take some time away I guess from Professor Wrestling <v Speaker 9>because he had a close relationship with his father. He <v Speaker 9>had a relationship that goes deeper than just be the <v Speaker 9>father said, and he put on a heartfelt letter. He <v Speaker 9>put out a heartfelt letter on Instagram a week ago <v Speaker 9>about the loss of his father, and I just want <v Speaker 9>to read a little bit from this. It says, my <v Speaker 9>soul shook with great pain when I heard the news <v Speaker 9>of your passing. Every every moment which you filled me <v Speaker 9>with happiness and attachment. No matter where I will find <v Speaker 9>myself in the world, your presence gives me courage and <v Speaker 9>enthusiasm and to fast forward. He also says, I will <v Speaker 9>try to follow your footsteps till the last, the last breath. <v Speaker 9>My respect and honor to you and mother. Lots of love, <v Speaker 9>badu ju. So that is ver Mahan's heartfelt letter to <v Speaker 9>his father, Verr Mahan Senior, Papavere, so much love to <v Speaker 9>my guy, Verr Mahan. You know I'm going to continue <v Speaker 9>to support you, my brother, and I can't wait to <v Speaker 9>see you back on NXT. <v Speaker 5>What day this year? Oh my god, ver Mahan and Sagha. <v Speaker 5>So would that being that I noticed as a long one. <v Speaker 5>All of you, all guys, have a blessed week. Stay easy, <v Speaker 5>my friends. Pe Guy to one another a peace all. <v Speaker 2>Right, DJ, So some good stuff here. I'm gonna comment <v Speaker 2>on a few things that you mentioned, and the Jay <v Speaker 2>brisco I didn't bring that up. I didn't want to. <v Speaker 2>I had a feeling that you were going to bring <v Speaker 2>that up and I didn't want to steal your thunder. <v Speaker 2>So yeah, Jay brisco obviously tragically passing away in a <v Speaker 2>car accident and all that. It's again, I always bring <v Speaker 2>this back to just reality. I mean, I bring it <v Speaker 2>back to you know, we all love wrestling, we all <v Speaker 2>love whatever form of entertainment we love. But death comes <v Speaker 2>first all And I'm not trying to be morbid, okay. <v Speaker 2>And even if it's a distant death where you didn't <v Speaker 2>know the person personally, but maybe you looked up to <v Speaker 2>the individual or somebody within your industry dies like Eddie <v Speaker 2>Guerrero or like Jay Briscoe, it just brings it back home. <v Speaker 2>It just humbles you. And she's like, oh yeah, like <v Speaker 2>we're all you know, we're all mortal, and that's the <v Speaker 2>one heel that's undefeated, right, Like, that's the one one <v Speaker 2>thing you can't kick out of all of us eventually <v Speaker 2>will and uh, at least you can take solace in <v Speaker 2>that for I guess, depending on what you believe. But <v Speaker 2>that' said yeah, Jay Brisco, I mean Nolen says as well, <v Speaker 2>family friends, anyone affected, and uh, you know, just even <v Speaker 2>those the fans that seemed to be kind of saddened <v Speaker 2>by it from as much of a perspective as we <v Speaker 2>can be given we're just fans, you know, I get it. <v Speaker 2>So but uh, all right, well let's talk a little <v Speaker 2>bit about wrestling here. And you brought up like that <v Speaker 2>we should all not get caught up in the rumors <v Speaker 2>and innuendo. And I've been preaching that now for a <v Speaker 2>couple of weeks, as things have gone off the rails <v Speaker 2>with stories and and oh wait, it's confirmed w W <v Speaker 2>has been sold to Saudi Arabia, and then oh wait, <v Speaker 2>no it's not. You're gonna see that crap going on <v Speaker 2>for a while, and until things are confirmed confirmed, I <v Speaker 2>like to kind of stay with levelhead and take things <v Speaker 2>as they come, because we have no effect on what's <v Speaker 2>going to happen. We just we we react to what's happening, <v Speaker 2>and right now we don't have anything happening other than <v Speaker 2>we know Vince's back on the board. He may already <v Speaker 2>be back in the office. He may be trying to <v Speaker 2>get back in front of creative. That does sound like <v Speaker 2>a Vince thing to do. But until things actually happen, yeah, <v Speaker 2>it's difficult and it's fun and it's exciting, and you <v Speaker 2>can get it emotional about getting all you know up <v Speaker 2>in the arms about the rumors and possibilities of what <v Speaker 2>could happen, should happen, will happen, all that, but it's <v Speaker 2>at the end of the day you may be wasting <v Speaker 2>a lot of your breath and energy on it. And <v Speaker 2>until that happens, we got nothing to talk about. So <v Speaker 2>that others one more thing that you mentioned about the <v Speaker 2>New York Giants. I know this is not a football podcast, <v Speaker 2>it's a wrestling podcast, but certainly yeah. I mean I'm <v Speaker 2>a Giants fan, not as big of a Giants fan <v Speaker 2>as an am a Yankees fan, because I like I <v Speaker 2>like baseball more. But you know a lot of people <v Speaker 2>out there like boom right, baseball is boring. Oh there's <v Speaker 2>one hundred and sixties two games a year. I get, <v Speaker 2>I've heard it all. But to me, I just love baseball. <v Speaker 2>So that's coming soon if you're a baseball fan. But <v Speaker 2>now I like the I'm a Giants fan. I am. <v Speaker 2>I wouldn't say, you know, i'd spend any of my <v Speaker 2>hard earned money to go see them play, but I <v Speaker 2>watched them. You know, I'm a fan. Okay, I'll leave <v Speaker 2>it there. But the Giants won this week, beat the <v Speaker 2>Vikings and a slight under I think they were a <v Speaker 2>slight underdog. It wasn't a you know, the shock of <v Speaker 2>the year, but they were slight underdogs in the game <v Speaker 2>because they were on the road in Minnesota. Minnesota had <v Speaker 2>beaten them twenty three twenty earlier in the year, and <v Speaker 2>now the Giants squeaked out of victory there and they <v Speaker 2>are on the road once again to face the Eagles <v Speaker 2>in likely. I mean, let's just be honest, it's likely <v Speaker 2>their last game of the season. Not impossible that they <v Speaker 2>beat the Eagles. But they're gonna have to play a <v Speaker 2>game that they've never played before. And that's you know, <v Speaker 2>going thirty five plus points I think. I mean, you're <v Speaker 2>gonna have to really lay the offense on thick and <v Speaker 2>you know what, Daniel Jones has shown a lot over <v Speaker 2>the last couple of games, and you know, that's where <v Speaker 2>you're gonna win. And that's I think what's gonna be <v Speaker 2>the biggest asset is of course Barkley, of course Jones <v Speaker 2>and Jones with his legs, okay, but the offensive line <v Speaker 2>is gonna have to do what they need to do. <v Speaker 2>And there are some key injuries on the Eagles as well. <v Speaker 2>The injury The Eagles have some injuries that are that <v Speaker 2>could affect the outcome of the game. But look, the <v Speaker 2>Giants have a shot. I think right now they are <v Speaker 2>seven point or seven and a half point underdogs to <v Speaker 2>the Eagles, so not overwhelming. The Giants are playing their <v Speaker 2>best baseball or baseball best football of the year right now. <v Speaker 2>And how many times you see the Giants score over <v Speaker 2>thirty points not often, so there is a possibility they <v Speaker 2>beat the Eagles. I think it's gonna be a tight game. <v Speaker 2>I really do. I think it's gonna be one of <v Speaker 2>those not maybe not a field goal game, but probably <v Speaker 2>within one score, seven to ten point game. I think <v Speaker 2>it could end with like a a thirty five twenty <v Speaker 2>three kind of you know end, you know, thirty five <v Speaker 2>twenty seven, that kind of thing, you know, that's probably <v Speaker 2>where it's gonna live. I think it's gonna be thirty <v Speaker 2>three twenty nine or something crazy like that. That's that's <v Speaker 2>somewhere around there. I think it's gonna live, uh for <v Speaker 2>this for this game, it's it's a fascinating game on <v Speaker 2>a lot of levels. But I'll say if the Giants win, <v Speaker 2>then things get even more interesting because and again, guys, <v Speaker 2>I don't mean to turn this into a football podcast, <v Speaker 2>but it's football season, right playoff season, end up. If <v Speaker 2>the Giants win, Even if they win, okay, people are <v Speaker 2>gonna be going nuts because then they have the chance <v Speaker 2>to go to the super Bowl with one more win. <v Speaker 2>But in their way is going to either be the <v Speaker 2>Cowboys that they can't beat or the San Francisco Giants <v Speaker 2>that have won like fourteen games in a row. I <v Speaker 2>mean they so people may get super excited, but I <v Speaker 2>think the real, the real end will come in the <v Speaker 2>championship game if they make it that far. I'm not <v Speaker 2>trying to kill Giants fans hopes, and there's still a chance, <v Speaker 2>but it's just not good at all. Okay, this is <v Speaker 2>bonus time right now for the Giants. They shouldn't even <v Speaker 2>be here. But Daniel Jones just made him a ton <v Speaker 2>of money. He made himself a ton of money going <v Speaker 2>into free agency, this offseason. By winning that playoff game, <v Speaker 2>they're gonna pay him and pay him very handsomely to <v Speaker 2>stay as the quarterback of the Football Giants. So all right, <v Speaker 2>let's get to our next voicemail. Thank you DJ, and <v Speaker 2>here we go. <v Speaker 7>It's Kyle from Baltimore. <v Speaker 4>I wanted to just talk about the snap Down in <v Speaker 4>general because last night to Snackdown it made me think <v Speaker 4>that overall SmackDown is a is equally a bad, a terrible. <v Speaker 4>Sheldn Raw in some respect because I said, I think <v Speaker 4>Margins before it's either Roman reigns, this, Roman rays and <v Speaker 4>everyone else and it's like the care the only care <v Speaker 4>blood felt, the bloodline stuff. And then you know Sammy <v Speaker 4>in the blood line when when he's out of the <v Speaker 4>blood lines, than what type of things like so, because <v Speaker 4>if you look at everything else, you know, Charlotte is <v Speaker 4>Matt Dylan's champion, not really doing anything interesting and person <v Speaker 4>with Morgan is is like crazy or whatever. I don't <v Speaker 4>know what to do with that, ohe bray. Whyatt like <v Speaker 4>night feud has a failure. So I guess my question <v Speaker 4>is then that is it for SmackDown itself? It what <v Speaker 4>needs to change there? <v Speaker 7>Did he really have to. <v Speaker 4>Shake up the roster again, or he needed to have <v Speaker 4>like what what what? What needs to change in order <v Speaker 4>to make SmackDown a little bit more exciting like it <v Speaker 4>was a few years ago, because a few years ago <v Speaker 4>they had they have the top you had the top <v Speaker 4>stars pretty much the majority of the people one on <v Speaker 4>Raw with Becky and the UK and Seth and all <v Speaker 4>of them one or smack then and as makes Matt <v Speaker 4>Doe great, I was since then. I said this last <v Speaker 4>year too, but SmackDown seems dull and so Roman rains <v Speaker 4>and no one else and everything else in the show <v Speaker 4>isn't interesting to me and I'll find and it's like boring, <v Speaker 4>kind of pushing to sleep for the most part, honestly sometimes. <v Speaker 4>So what can they do to make snack Down interesting again? <v Speaker 4>That have to wait till the snack Down after WrestleMania, <v Speaker 4>but I mean what or after the Laura rumble? So <v Speaker 4>they think they can do to make set Down interesting, <v Speaker 4>but that's it they will call it by. <v Speaker 2>All right, Kyle, So I have to say, you might <v Speaker 2>be the only person I've talked to that I think <v Speaker 2>SmackDown's boring right now, and it's as equally as bad <v Speaker 2>as Raw. Doesn't mean you're wrong. I like the fact <v Speaker 2>you have a different opinion, to be honest. But here's <v Speaker 2>here's my reasons why I think that SmackDown is a <v Speaker 2>better show than Raw right now. Currently. Number one, it's <v Speaker 2>two hours versus three. That instantaneously makes it a better show, <v Speaker 2>instantly without even knowing what's on the show instantly better. Secondly, <v Speaker 2>your point about the Roman Reigns storyline being like it's <v Speaker 2>Roman or nothing, it's the only thing that's Mackdown seems <v Speaker 2>to care about. Well, no, I mean there's a lot <v Speaker 2>of other things going on. Okay, we'll get to that <v Speaker 2>in a second. But every good show, Rassmackdown, whatever, does <v Speaker 2>have a main storyline threaded through it to keep you <v Speaker 2>on course for their main story. Like, I'm not saying <v Speaker 2>it needs to be overwhelming. That's with that storyline every <v Speaker 2>single show, and a lot of times it's not. Sometimes <v Speaker 2>they just sprinkle in the bloodline thing. And most of <v Speaker 2>the time Roman Reigns is even there. Okay, Like Roman <v Speaker 2>Reigns is there every three weeks at best, competes on <v Speaker 2>every other pay per view at best. He hasn't defended <v Speaker 2>his championship in like two months since the Crown Jewel event. Like, <v Speaker 2>so Roman Rains has been essentially absentee more than normal. Okay, <v Speaker 2>so Roman Reigns hasn't exactly been saturating your television. But <v Speaker 2>I understand if you're talking about the bloodline storyline in general, Yeah, <v Speaker 2>that's been a big thing. But it's a big deal <v Speaker 2>because there's a lot happening with Sammy's Ain, And Okay, <v Speaker 2>if you don't like the storyline, and it sounds like <v Speaker 2>you don't, then you're gonna feel like this is sucking <v Speaker 2>up more time than it needs to. So it sounds <v Speaker 2>like you may just don't like it. And if you <v Speaker 2>don't like it, they didn't. You don't like it, you're <v Speaker 2>you're obviously entitled to that opinion. But I think the <v Speaker 2>majority of fans, majority, not all, are interested in the <v Speaker 2>outcome of this and interested in Sammy's Ain's breakdown and <v Speaker 2>how that all plays out and is the Rock coming <v Speaker 2>back and all that. Okay, but now this this also <v Speaker 2>leads to, well, you know, there's nothing else going on SmackDown, <v Speaker 2>I would disagree. I mean, Bray White and l A <v Speaker 2>Knight A La Knight specifically is on the rise and <v Speaker 2>doing a much better job than I ever could have <v Speaker 2>hoped against Bray Wyatt. Now we'll see what the outcome is, <v Speaker 2>of course, with this mysterious pitch black match that's taking <v Speaker 2>place at the Rumble. But I think l A. Knight's <v Speaker 2>a rising star. You have Gunther who is doing an <v Speaker 2>amazing job as Intercontinental Champion. I could see him as <v Speaker 2>a future world champion. He just beat braun Stroman clean. <v Speaker 2>He is a badass, a certified badass. He looks the part, <v Speaker 2>plays the part, speaks the part. He is a pro <v Speaker 2>wrestlers wrestler. He's awesome. That's my opinion obviously. But you know, <v Speaker 2>the Intercontinental Championship is getting a very healthy amount of <v Speaker 2>attention on SmackDown. I think, you know, the women's division, <v Speaker 2>could it be better? Yeah, it could be better, I think, <v Speaker 2>you know. I think that's where where Raw has SmackDown <v Speaker 2>beat a little bit Live Morgan just being kind of <v Speaker 2>crazy Live. <v Speaker 6>Yeah. <v Speaker 2>It doesn't really do much for me either. It seems <v Speaker 2>a little bit shallow, but she's trying something to keep <v Speaker 2>things fresh, and I appreciate that Rona Rowsey has gone Mia, <v Speaker 2>which I again I think is additioned by subtraction. Charlotte <v Speaker 2>Flair's come back, although we haven't seen much of her <v Speaker 2>other than being brawling with what's her name, Sonya Deville backstage. <v Speaker 2>You know, like this is you know, the women's division, <v Speaker 2>Markala Rodriguez potentially turning heel Emma's back. You know, so <v Speaker 2>there's stuff going on on the women's division. Okay, you <v Speaker 2>don't have Sasha Banks on. You love Sasha, she you know, <v Speaker 2>I think is pretty much dumb awwe for the moment, <v Speaker 2>you know, but you know, to say that SmackDown has <v Speaker 2>nothing else going on, I don't. I don't think it's fair. <v Speaker 2>There are some decent storylines going on, Drew Mcatyre and <v Speaker 2>Shamus aligning themselves together to try to take out the USOS. <v Speaker 2>Well now they're starting at tag team Turmoil match tournament <v Speaker 2>whatever to determine who's going to face the USOS for <v Speaker 2>the SmackDown tag team titles, which again those tag team <v Speaker 2>titles have suddenly been split. I mean, like whatever, But <v Speaker 2>again I don't think it's fair. I just think that <v Speaker 2>if you don't like the Roman reign storyline, then just <v Speaker 2>try to focus on the other stuff. And there are <v Speaker 2>some there's some good stuff, other good stuff going on, <v Speaker 2>you know, I think, but how could they improve? Final question? <v Speaker 2>How can they improve? Easy? They just do a couple <v Speaker 2>of massive trades. Whether it's you know, you want to <v Speaker 2>bring Charlotte to Raw and Becky to SmackDown, that would <v Speaker 2>help I think the women's division, or if you just <v Speaker 2>want to have not even a trade, just someone defect <v Speaker 2>from Raw to SmackDown. I think that would help Seth. <v Speaker 2>Rolins coming to SmackDown I think is a perfect fit <v Speaker 2>for Seth because then he gets to work with Roman <v Speaker 2>and that's a few that is long overdue that I <v Speaker 2>think is a good move. I think somebody mentioned that <v Speaker 2>Kevin Owens is actually an official part of SmackDown Now, <v Speaker 2>which I missed. There you go, okay, So to me, <v Speaker 2>it's just a couple of moves. It's not shaking up <v Speaker 2>the whole roster. It's just a couple of massive moves <v Speaker 2>will do the trick, and I think freshen things up. <v Speaker 2>That's my talk, or that's my talk, Yeah, Ted talk here, <v Speaker 2>that's my opinion. So thanks, Kyle. Let's get to our <v Speaker 2>next voicemail. <v Speaker 3>Hey Matt, it's New York Kyle. Again. There's a head <v Speaker 3>of everyone. I do have a cold. I have Coles <v Speaker 3>in New Year's So if I sound nasally or a <v Speaker 3>cough during the voicemail, I apologize I have. I've had <v Speaker 3>a really bad cold. He's neous. Also on that at <v Speaker 3>a request, can just this one? Can you play two <v Speaker 3>voicemails for me? Because I don't ask for it often. <v Speaker 3>I'm to I'll be honest with you. I'm to living <v Speaker 3>and busy the right emo emos, I promise next time <v Speaker 3>I will, but also ask me shouts for the people <v Speaker 3>for two people on the mail bag actually anyway, So <v Speaker 3>I suppose I suppose a tweet from m j F <v Speaker 3>I got me a I got me thinking, even if <v Speaker 3>he was saying, how like you know what we uh <v Speaker 3>people recruited talking anja if you don't know man on <v Speaker 3>a W there's this there's this woman wrestler named Anna <v Speaker 3>J who's part of the Jericho Appreciation Society because Eric <v Speaker 3>was a que faction and she was part of a <v Speaker 3>street fight on a W rampage. And it was a <v Speaker 3>really good match. Every almost singer was really good. But <v Speaker 3>the one critique of the match, what they were saying <v Speaker 3>was and Jay so bad in the ring. She sucked <v Speaker 3>and m JF actually tweeted and wrote, like what we <v Speaker 3>do is real. You know, she busted her ass and <v Speaker 3>and and all you the balls that criticize her. This <v Speaker 3>is why I don't please wrestling fans. I please my wallet, <v Speaker 3>like and like I feel like that was him out <v Speaker 3>of character. And also I kind of agree with him actually, <v Speaker 3>Like it got me thinking he's right, Like we not <v Speaker 3>on the on the podcast, like collectively, like the Gerald's <v Speaker 3>fan base don't really don't respect what these people do. <v Speaker 3>They put their lives in the line for us. That's <v Speaker 3>another thing you wrote the tweet too. Actually I forgot <v Speaker 3>to mention, and it got me thinking, just it's so true. <v Speaker 3>And also that I know you've told a story in <v Speaker 3>the past about how you actually took a bump in <v Speaker 3>the ring once and like they're like and you probably <v Speaker 3>more respect for them than anybody I don't know, just <v Speaker 3>got me thinking, Uh, by three minutes about to be up, <v Speaker 3>I'll call again in the second with the second voicemail <v Speaker 3>for the shot, asked. <v Speaker 2>H all right, Kyle, this is voicemail one. Yes, I <v Speaker 2>will play the other one. I know you don't often <v Speaker 2>do it, so I will do it for you tonight. <v Speaker 2>So no worries so yeah, First of all, I did <v Speaker 2>not see the tweet. I followed the whole story. It <v Speaker 2>sounds perfect from MJF. I totally agree with him. That's <v Speaker 2>coming from a real place. So what's great about MJF <v Speaker 2>is he's real. He's really trying to be truly hated, <v Speaker 2>but at the same time speaks truth and I totally agree. <v Speaker 2>Like if people say, oh, and a Jay sucks all that. <v Speaker 2>First of all, I didn't see the match, to be fair, <v Speaker 2>so I'm taking everything you're saying at face value. I <v Speaker 2>don't think you're lying. I believe you. But yeah, yeah, okay, <v Speaker 2>so I took I've taken a few bumps in the ring. <v Speaker 5>I have. <v Speaker 2>I mean, I'm not trying to say, oh, I'm a badass. No, <v Speaker 2>I'm okay, I'm not dominic, okay, pretending that I you know, <v Speaker 2>I'm a ten year grizzled vet because I spent a <v Speaker 2>few hours in a ring taking a few bumps. It <v Speaker 2>actually was at the if anybody knows it was a <v Speaker 2>place in Massachusetts, it was actually Freddie Classy Freddy Blassy, <v Speaker 2>the Chaotic Wrestling CHAOK training center that's now known as <v Speaker 2>something else. It's just south of Boston, but that's actually <v Speaker 2>where I think Triple H went through there, or he <v Speaker 2>has shown up there before to scout talent. Classy Freddy <v Speaker 2>Blassie was a student there and a trainer there. Others <v Speaker 2>have come through there and been on Monnette Raw before. <v Speaker 2>So Archatic Training Center, I don't know if it's known <v Speaker 2>as that now, but it's a rest pro wrestling school there. <v Speaker 2>So I went there for a few like open uh <v Speaker 2>you know, kind of like open days where they have <v Speaker 2>anybody who wants to come in and you know, try <v Speaker 2>to cut a promo and learn about the learn about <v Speaker 2>in ring stuff kind of basics. Yeah, so I took <v Speaker 2>a couple of bumps, and I will say this, like, <v Speaker 2>it's not fun. It's not like jumping on a Calicornia <v Speaker 2>King mattress. It is brutal. And you just watch these <v Speaker 2>guys just sitting there with like your sandwich just you know, Ah, <v Speaker 2>that was a crappy bump. That bump, like people don't realize, <v Speaker 2>just regular bumps that go by hundreds of them, if <v Speaker 2>not thousands, we see per show. Take one bump in <v Speaker 2>the ring and you tell me if it's fun. Throwing <v Speaker 2>your body at the ground is not a natural thing. <v Speaker 2>To do, and throwing your body even to go further <v Speaker 2>throwing your body at the ground that is hard is <v Speaker 2>even less fun. It is the worst part about it, <v Speaker 2>I mean, is like it it's like kind of shocks <v Speaker 2>your neck and your head. So like even if you <v Speaker 2>land perfectly and you don't crack the back of your <v Speaker 2>head on the mat and you land like a flat <v Speaker 2>back bump to disperse the amount of to maximize the <v Speaker 2>amount of your body on the mat, so it's not <v Speaker 2>focused on a single area, which reduces injury you're flat backing, <v Speaker 2>it still kind of shocks your head and your neck, <v Speaker 2>like you come away with like a headache all the time. <v Speaker 2>And like it's not fun man, like anybody go in there. <v Speaker 2>It's not like concrete, but it's still I don't know <v Speaker 2>what else to make. And also the ropes. I ran <v Speaker 2>the ropes that was part of like the drills that <v Speaker 2>they did with us, And running the ropes even leaves <v Speaker 2>marks and it bruises up your sides, and like the <v Speaker 2>guys and gals in there must be calloused up where <v Speaker 2>they're just immune to it at this point. But even <v Speaker 2>running the ropes is something that's like, oh it's springy, <v Speaker 2>it's like a you know, like some kind of like <v Speaker 2>rubber band. It must be fun to just jump off. No, <v Speaker 2>those ropes are made out of steel cable wrapped in like, <v Speaker 2>you know, some hard material. It is not like the <v Speaker 2>ring is brutal, guys, and I'm not trying to pretend <v Speaker 2>to be a grizz will Vet. This is only coming <v Speaker 2>from a few hours of experience. But like all the <v Speaker 2>things that I thought from just a viewer's perspective about <v Speaker 2>the ring and how it felt, I was completely wrong. Okay, <v Speaker 2>anybody that's been in the ring for many, many, many, <v Speaker 2>many many more hours of days or years than I <v Speaker 2>have can probably tell you a lot more about it. <v Speaker 2>But I would imagine that they would validate some of <v Speaker 2>what I'm saying that it's not as fun as you <v Speaker 2>think it would be, or as not as physical as <v Speaker 2>you think it would be. It's more physical, so you know, <v Speaker 2>it does make you instantly have more respect for the <v Speaker 2>men and women in the business, for sure, no doubt <v Speaker 2>about it. But MJF. I love how he's so real <v Speaker 2>about just lining his pockets and he's not worried about <v Speaker 2>what we can. Then we think I love it because <v Speaker 2>I totally believe him as a person, not a character, <v Speaker 2>as a human being. But okay, thanks Kyle, Let's get <v Speaker 2>to your next voicemail and then we'll move on, Hey. <v Speaker 3>Matt's new or Kyle again. It's the second voicemail. So yeah, <v Speaker 3>I know, I know this. This this week was more <v Speaker 3>more of a a statement, more of it wasn't really <v Speaker 3>a question. It was more just getting something off my <v Speaker 3>mind that I saw on Twitter from Mendas on the <v Speaker 3>end of my mind. So yeah, now let's top of <v Speaker 3>the shows. I want to tell a quick story, so <v Speaker 3>shout out to g Man and DJ Cuzmo because uh <v Speaker 3>y Man actually found me on Instagram and we we <v Speaker 3>we had a little chat for a little bit in <v Speaker 3>the DMS if he followed me, he found me on there, <v Speaker 3>and then I actually found DJA Cuzmo through him because <v Speaker 3>uh on like g Man's profile under his name it <v Speaker 3>said like followed by DJ Cuzmo. That's how I found him. <v Speaker 3>I messaged him too, so I've followed himothte and six <v Speaker 3>for him now and he men, so happens, just so <v Speaker 3>happens to have a PS five. I have a PS <v Speaker 3>four trying to get a PS five, but right now <v Speaker 3>they're they're sold out in New York. In New York, <v Speaker 3>they're they're getting restocked right now. I know, Matt, you're <v Speaker 3>in a I believe you're in upstate New York. I'm <v Speaker 3>in like the suburbs. I have a vacational won't stay. <v Speaker 3>I'm like two hours away from you actually, I think, <v Speaker 3>or two hours fro rough state. Probably not away from you, <v Speaker 3>just from upstate, I mean. And they're they're pretty sold <v Speaker 3>out here. We're getting a restocked. So but hopefully the <v Speaker 3>men me and him to play some two K instead <v Speaker 3>of two K twenty two, so I wanted to shot <v Speaker 3>them both out. And uh, I've actually are rumors that <v Speaker 3>they might be showing the first trailer for two K <v Speaker 3>twenty three after Rony Rumble. So if anybody in this <v Speaker 3>the podcast family is a gamer like myself, I guess <v Speaker 3>get hyped for that. So yeah, that's pretty much it. <v Speaker 3>Once again that sorry I sent two voicemails. I don't <v Speaker 3>do it often, but I just often didn't have time <v Speaker 3>to send an email. Busy work, that's all. But like <v Speaker 3>like I said, again, next time I've had something that <v Speaker 3>I have this long, or like something this much stuff <v Speaker 3>to say text time, I'll send in an email. But <v Speaker 3>that's it this week and uh to you guys next time. Peace. <v Speaker 2>All right, Cole, no problem, man. You know I don't <v Speaker 2>want to make this happen where someone's like, wait a minute, <v Speaker 2>I can put two voicemails in. He allowed Kyle to <v Speaker 2>do it. Well, guys, okay, like if everyone did that <v Speaker 2>and thought that you know that that you know that <v Speaker 2>you can put two voicemails in, this show would be <v Speaker 2>four hours long. It's already going to probably be close <v Speaker 2>to two hours, and I like to try to keep <v Speaker 2>it into an hour, but I've already gone over that <v Speaker 2>because it's Wrestledmandia season guys, and you know it's just crazy. <v Speaker 2>But okay, PS five. Yeah, it took me forever. I <v Speaker 2>didn't get one until last summer because every single time <v Speaker 2>that I would, you know, get a notification from like <v Speaker 2>those Twitter accounts that say, oh, it's back in socc <v Speaker 2>at Amazon Quick Quick Quick, or it's back in socket Walmart, <v Speaker 2>or back in soccert Target or Target or at game <v Speaker 2>stop or where the hell ever Costco. And by the <v Speaker 2>time you get there, it's already gone. You know, it's <v Speaker 2>a boom gong, the blanket. It's gone. The South Park episode. <v Speaker 2>I think about this every time. Those that watch South Park. <v Speaker 2>Note I'm talking about if you don't, you don't, but <v Speaker 2>the one where you go to the bank and you <v Speaker 2>put the money in the account and the guy's like <v Speaker 2>and it's gone. That's how I felt. Some of you <v Speaker 2>have no idea what I'm talking about, but you keep trying. <v Speaker 2>The way I got my PS five was that PlayStation <v Speaker 2>themselves have their own store, and I was put on <v Speaker 2>a list that anytime that they had an X amount, <v Speaker 2>I would be specifically notified. It wasn't open to the public. <v Speaker 2>It was only by invitation that they would put the <v Speaker 2>store out to people. And that's how I got it. <v Speaker 2>So if you haven't gone to the PlayStation store itself, <v Speaker 2>sign up for notifications for the PlayStation five. It's totally <v Speaker 2>worth it. PlayStation five kicks ass, and they are putting <v Speaker 2>out from what I hear from a two K the <v Speaker 2>two K team, that they are going to be putting <v Speaker 2>out a trailer for two K twenty three at the rumble. <v Speaker 2>And that makes sense given that this the two K <v Speaker 2>twenty two came out in what March of last year, <v Speaker 2>and if it's already mid January they have only a <v Speaker 2>couple of months to promote it and finish it, so <v Speaker 2>that makes sense that ten months into development that they <v Speaker 2>are going to release the trailer. So two K twenty three, <v Speaker 2>I have no idea about the specs, about the graphic, <v Speaker 2>I have nothing. We'll know so much more about that, <v Speaker 2>hopefully at the rumble where we get a kind of <v Speaker 2>a probably a teasing trailer, but yeah, seriously, get your <v Speaker 2>PS five and then you know, maybe when we're all <v Speaker 2>seventy five, eighty years old and the PlayStation what fifteen <v Speaker 2>is out, we can enjoy Grand Theft Auto six, you know, <v Speaker 2>so those that know, no, it has been ten years <v Speaker 2>since Grand Theft Dotto five came out, the longest block <v Speaker 2>of time between any of the GTA games, and they <v Speaker 2>keep doing like updates to GTA five. I've online and <v Speaker 2>all this crap and more, like, bro, can we just <v Speaker 2>get to GTA six. The thing is, though it may <v Speaker 2>be smart on their end that they know that it's <v Speaker 2>going to be built for next gen consoles only, I <v Speaker 2>believe for GTA six, And if that's the case, they <v Speaker 2>know that a lot of people, thousands upon thousands of <v Speaker 2>people that want PlayStation fives don't have them, and if <v Speaker 2>they don't have them, they can't purchase the GTA game. <v Speaker 2>So I would imagine that they're like, hey, PlayStation, get <v Speaker 2>your crap together. Build these things quick so we can <v Speaker 2>sell them and we can kind of maximize our sales <v Speaker 2>for GTA. I mean, so, all right, I've gone into football, <v Speaker 2>I've gone into video games. Tonight weird night. All right, <v Speaker 2>let's get to the next voicemail. <v Speaker 10>Alex the French guy here. Hello, everyone, a little Matt, <v Speaker 10>just to address what I said, I think last week <v Speaker 10>about Saudi Arabia purchasing WWE. We are seeing that we <v Speaker 10>should not goal and you know, just take the rumor <v Speaker 10>as it is as long as it's not official. It's <v Speaker 10>not official yet. So like you also see some rumors <v Speaker 10>about aw purchasing the company, but yeah, we should just <v Speaker 10>see what the future dos WE hold for us and <v Speaker 10>see also. <v Speaker 8>What the product is made of. <v Speaker 10>Given that, I would just wanted to address the ww <v Speaker 10>podcast community. I am your European Champion and I am <v Speaker 10>also a master student. I am waiting on my results <v Speaker 10>this week so and I think by the time the <v Speaker 10>message will air, I will know if I become the <v Speaker 10>official Master European Champion of the ww podcast. So yeah, <v Speaker 10>we will all see this next week if I succeed <v Speaker 10>on this match versus the Master Pieces, and if it's successful, <v Speaker 10>I win the title as the Master European Gap. And yeah, <v Speaker 10>just also to address that, I think I started listening <v Speaker 10>to the podcast. I think it was during wrestle Mania <v Speaker 10>of I don't know, I think it was yeah, last <v Speaker 10>year or something, And I just wanted to say that <v Speaker 10>ever since I started listening the podcast, it was also <v Speaker 10>a link for me to the wrestling world, and I <v Speaker 10>wanted to thank you the community, Thank you Matt, and yeah, <v Speaker 10>it's really a blest to listen to the podcast and <v Speaker 10>to the different concept of the channel. And yeah, given that, <v Speaker 10>we'll see us next week to see if we have <v Speaker 10>if I become a new champion, and thank you everybody <v Speaker 10>for you next week. <v Speaker 8>Bye. <v Speaker 2>All right, Alex the French guy, our European Champion. We'll <v Speaker 2>find out if he's the Master European Champions any thing. <v Speaker 2>I guess that is now? Uh so, yeah, well we'll <v Speaker 2>find out. And somebody has to challenge him for this title, right, <v Speaker 2>like he's going on a post. Somebody needs to challenge him. <v Speaker 2>He can't go on a Roman reign's three year run here. <v Speaker 2>But thank you Alex for the comments. And I'm glad <v Speaker 2>I was able to cut tie you back into wrestling. <v Speaker 2>And you know, I don't know what it is that <v Speaker 2>you guys like get a complimentary mood. Something bad's coming right, <v Speaker 2>Like everything in the universe balances out. So maybe next <v Speaker 2>week I'll get a whole bunch of hate, like somebody <v Speaker 2>will write a nasty review on Apple Podcasts, or somebody <v Speaker 2>will call in. I don't know something something right here, like, <v Speaker 2>I don't know it's I appreciated Alex. Im not saying <v Speaker 2>anybody's setting me up, but that's usually how things work <v Speaker 2>in the world, where there's always a equal and opposite <v Speaker 2>reaction at times. Okay, anyway, thank you so much. I'm <v Speaker 2>glad I was able to reconnect you with wrestling. And <v Speaker 2>you know, hey, stay tuned. We've got a lot of <v Speaker 2>great stuff coming, great co hosts through WrestleMania season. You know, <v Speaker 2>it's time buckle up. It's about to get fun around here. <v Speaker 2>So all right, thank you, Alex, and let's get to <v Speaker 2>We have a few more and then we'll close it <v Speaker 2>out for the night here. Let's get to our next one. <v Speaker 7>Hello everybody, and from the mean streets of Louisville, Kentucky, <v Speaker 7>this is your favorite Gardner, Michael Gross and I'm calling <v Speaker 7>instead of making a statement or excuse me, instead of <v Speaker 7>making a question, I'm just calling to make a statement <v Speaker 7>at the world, we've lost a great performer in Jay Brisco. <v Speaker 7>He was thirty eight years old. If you've never seen <v Speaker 7>his work, he and his brother Mark were one of <v Speaker 7>the best tag teams living on the planet. Their work <v Speaker 7>with FTR was amazing. But you can go back many <v Speaker 7>years on Ring of Honor YouTube and see what they did. <v Speaker 7>We lost the hell of a performer, We lost a <v Speaker 7>hell of a wrestler and his family. I'm sure his morning, <v Speaker 7>and I just want to say on behalf of the <v Speaker 7>w W podcast family, good night Jay Risco, Thank you everybody. <v Speaker 3>It's goodbye. <v Speaker 2>All right, mister Gardner. Long time no talk on the podcast, <v Speaker 2>but yeah, no doubt about it, amen, I mean it's <v Speaker 2>I really would encourage everyone to go look at his work. <v Speaker 2>I was not as familiar as I probably should have been, <v Speaker 2>and I have gone back and taken a look at <v Speaker 2>his work and it's it's impressive. And the pro wrestling <v Speaker 2>world did lose not just amazing talent, but a man, <v Speaker 2>you know, and a family that was affected in his <v Speaker 2>brother and all. You know that That's the other thing <v Speaker 2>too that I said, It's about the humanity of this. <v Speaker 2>It's not about necessarily, oh we lost a great wrestler. <v Speaker 2>It's like, yeah, you did, no doubt about it. That <v Speaker 2>that's a you know, that's a fact. But you know, <v Speaker 2>more importantly, did they know did he lose in this case? <v Speaker 9>You know? <v Speaker 2>Was he a husband, was he a father? <v Speaker 3>Was he to me? <v Speaker 2>Those things are you know a paramount? And uh yeah, <v Speaker 2>But again, if you're in a wrestling community, as we <v Speaker 2>all all are, yeah, it is. Uh, it's a it's <v Speaker 2>a tough it's a tough one and brings things back <v Speaker 2>to earth, doesn't it. It definitely does. Thank you, Michael <v Speaker 2>uh the Gardner Grosser and we will be chatting soon. <v Speaker 2>Wink wink. All right, last couple of voicemails. Let's do this. <v Speaker 8>Here on the WWE podcast. There has been a caterpillar <v Speaker 8>for the last year. This caterpillar has been hanging out <v Speaker 8>and growing and learning and evolving just like any other caterpillar. <v Speaker 8>He is in his cocoon. He's in his cocoon. Awaiting <v Speaker 8>to bust out, to evolve, to transcend, to become what <v Speaker 8>he thinks he is, or rather what they say think <v Speaker 8>they are. This caterpillar was born on the mail bag. <v Speaker 8>This caterpillar has grown on d W W E podcast <v Speaker 8>And come wrestle Mania. This caterpillar, with all his glory, <v Speaker 8>we'll buff out of that cocoon, spread their wings, and <v Speaker 8>a whole new entity will be born. A whole new <v Speaker 8>show will transpire. No one is safe. Look for it <v Speaker 8>wressel Mania weekend. This butterfly will return to you all. <v Speaker 3>What's up? <v Speaker 2>What now? I've got some interesting voicemails over the years. <v Speaker 2>This is up there, this is up there. I have <v Speaker 2>ideas on who and what this is about. I'll keep <v Speaker 2>them to myself because I don't want to speculate if <v Speaker 2>because I'm not super confident on it. I have ideas. <v Speaker 2>People have reached out to me. That voice is very <v Speaker 2>familiar to me, but can't quite put my finger on it. <v Speaker 2>I really don't want to make of this. It was <v Speaker 2>a fun promo. <v Speaker 7>I like it. <v Speaker 2>It kept me captivated, It kept me interesting because I'm like, <v Speaker 2>all right, where's this going? <v Speaker 9>Right? <v Speaker 2>But we I guess we'll find out WrestleMania weekend. We've <v Speaker 2>got my God, I don't know how many days a <v Speaker 2>lot of days until Wrestlemanium, but I'm interested, I'm hooked. <v Speaker 7>I like it. <v Speaker 2>Let's see what spawns on the podcast here. Let's see <v Speaker 2>who and what comes out of it, because the butterfly <v Speaker 2>is out and now I want to see where it lands. <v Speaker 2>All right, very very interesting. I love this. I love <v Speaker 2>this stuff. All right, let's get to our final voicemail <v Speaker 2>for the night. <v Speaker 6>Hey, what's going on? Matt's Joel the Digger Graves cloning <v Speaker 6>in again all the way from Ontario, Canada. <v Speaker 8>Just going to keep it short this week. <v Speaker 6>It's just a couple of things. Firstly, I'd like to <v Speaker 6>say that the thought of Vince mcmahond being in charge <v Speaker 6>of anything to do with Creative makes me absolutely sick <v Speaker 6>to my stomach. I very much enjoyed the way that <v Speaker 6>Triple H has turned the Creative around in the last <v Speaker 6>almost year, and if Vince comes back, I just feel <v Speaker 6>like we are going to go back to the pandemic <v Speaker 6>era and nobody wants that. The last thing I want <v Speaker 6>I want to say is Angelo Dawkins drives me crazy. <v Speaker 6>He is so frustrating to watch his move set, very unimpactful, <v Speaker 6>and I really cannot wait for montese Ford and him <v Speaker 6>to split up and to have montese Ford go on <v Speaker 6>a solo run that I think he deserves and I <v Speaker 6>think he'll excel at and Angela Dawkins. I don't know <v Speaker 6>he can go to NXT or even aw for all <v Speaker 6>I care. Anyways, that's all I have to say this week, <v Speaker 6>and look forward to listening to the rest of the calls. <v Speaker 8>I have a good one, all. <v Speaker 2>Right, Joel the Digger from Ontario. Good to hear from <v Speaker 2>you again this week. So Vince McMahon if he comes <v Speaker 2>back again reportedly, he's already back in the offices reportedly. <v Speaker 2>And you know, even if he says, here's the thing, <v Speaker 2>even if he says the Triple H is remaining as <v Speaker 2>head of creative, is he really though? Or is Vince <v Speaker 2>just aware enough to know that the have really taken <v Speaker 2>to Triple H's view of wrestling and that behind the scenes, <v Speaker 2>sure Triple H is Head of Creative, But guess what <v Speaker 2>he still has to go through Vince for the final say, <v Speaker 2>like you know what I mean, Like if Vince is <v Speaker 2>still the final filter before things get approved, then nothing's changed, <v Speaker 2>you know, like that, I agree is my concern. We've <v Speaker 2>seen Vince. Vince is a creative genius. He has been <v Speaker 2>in the past. I know we're all kind of like, <v Speaker 2>oh my god, Vince sucks, but like we're all here <v Speaker 2>because of Vince. I'm speaking right now because of Vince McMahon. <v Speaker 2>I just think that with his advanced age and the <v Speaker 2>fact that I think we've seen every idea he can <v Speaker 2>possibly come up with right now, and how he presents <v Speaker 2>pro wrestling. The word wrestling has been banned on the <v Speaker 2>r on a wrestling show. That's all you need to <v Speaker 2>know about how he views the company. It's just time <v Speaker 2>for him to go, that's all. I don't hate Vince. <v Speaker 2>He's he brought something global and has made it an <v Speaker 2>absolute juggernaut, and good for him. But now it's just <v Speaker 2>time to move on, and he doesn't want to and <v Speaker 2>that's a Vince McMahon way. And if he does come <v Speaker 2>back in a creative capacity, but says well, Triple Ah <v Speaker 2>is still in charge of creative nonsense. Triple H is <v Speaker 2>in charge of creative wink wink. But even after Triple <v Speaker 2>H says, yeah, we're gonna go with this guess what <v Speaker 2>it still has to pass through me. I e I'm <v Speaker 2>really the head of creative that's my concern. I agree. Uh, <v Speaker 2>let's see. So the last point about Angela Dawkins driving <v Speaker 2>you crazy. I have never been an Angela Dawkins fan <v Speaker 2>on any level. I don't think he should be fired. <v Speaker 2>I just think that he's insufferable when it comes to <v Speaker 2>I mean, I think he'd be a really good heel. <v Speaker 2>I don't like his his the way he delivers promos, <v Speaker 2>his in ring work is fine. He's a he's a <v Speaker 2>he's a very agile big man. Yeah, he's a. He's <v Speaker 2>been a very mildly successful part of Street Profits. But <v Speaker 2>let's be honest, the true star of that duo is <v Speaker 2>montes for as you said, no doubt about it. We've <v Speaker 2>seen that since day one. And if the Street Profits <v Speaker 2>split up, sure, I'd love to see montes Ford go <v Speaker 2>on a singles run and eventually become world champion. I would. <v Speaker 2>I think montes Ford has the charisma and the ring <v Speaker 2>ability to do it, and the promo ability to do it. <v Speaker 2>I think montes Ford has all the tools that when <v Speaker 2>that duo splits, montes Ford is going to ascend quickly. <v Speaker 2>While we have Angelo Dawkins kind of floundering. Montes Ford <v Speaker 2>doesn't need Angelo Dawkins. Angelo Dawkins needs montes Ford, and <v Speaker 2>that's all there was to it. But it's not a <v Speaker 2>unique dynamic to a tag team. There's always a bigger <v Speaker 2>star and a tag team than the other. Always. Maybe <v Speaker 2>the exceptions the usos with identical twins and they're kind <v Speaker 2>of one right now, But ninety nine percent of cases, <v Speaker 2>there's always a bigger star in a tag team. Always, <v Speaker 2>there's no exception. So all right, thank you, Joel, thank <v Speaker 2>you to everybody tonight long show. As I imagine this <v Speaker 2>is probably going to continue with wrestlemin season, the rumbles <v Speaker 2>right around the corner. Things are gonna just just get <v Speaker 2>scathing hot with news and you know, rumors and all <v Speaker 2>that and everything else is going to explode. The Vince <v Speaker 2>mcmahn story is going to continue to evolve. I'm sure <v Speaker 2>WW sale is probably gonna that that rumor is going <v Speaker 2>to continue for a while, you know. And then of <v Speaker 2>course the actual creative, the on air product is the <v Speaker 2>Rock coming back, all that Cody yuh bub, It's gonna <v Speaker 2>get fun, guys, So stay right here to the WW <v Speaker 2>podcast again.
