Will Compton and Taylor Lewan Predict The NFL Season + React Week 1 Of College Football
Recorded: September 4th 2023 | On this week's episode we finally have the boy Taylor back and he is back bringing the energy. The boys start off the pod by breaking down Will’s retirement announcement and how he feels about being officially done. Taylor has some questions for him as to why now along with others. This past weekend was obviously the first weekend of college football so clearly, the boys are breaking out their hot takes and opinions on who sucks and who is winning the Natty. Taylor gets into Michigan’s game and Will gets into Nebraska’s heartbreaking loss but is still able to somehow spinzone the loss into a positive. It’s amazing how he’s able to do that with every loss. They also both get into Colorado;s surprising win and give a prediction on Deion and the Buffaloes season. Following college football talk, the guys get right into the NFL with it starting this week. They break down each division and give their winners. Somehow they are able to talk themselves in and out of the picks that they made on the spot. It is a convo that is all over the place. However, football is SOOOO back so who really cares. I was fighting you good a fight. 00:03:00 Speaker 2: Yeah, you're out there finding a good fight and uh, you know, good old Canada. 00:03:03 Speaker 1: Were you guys worried when Barslow was doing layoffs? Worried? Was I? Yeah, a little bit. Actually you didn't know what was gonna happen. And get a call from Dave. Hey, Wills can go ahead and take it from here. You're just like, oh no. 00:03:16 Speaker 2: Dude, last week was the Red wedding. I mean it was, oh yeah, you're not a game of three. 00:03:20 Speaker 1: No, But I understood that. I understand the reference. Yes, this week was like the Red Wedding. 00:03:24 Speaker 2: I mean they laid off twenty five percent of their of the squad up there employees. 00:03:30 Speaker 1: Yeah, a lot of good swimers. Man. It's one of those things though, is just business. Dave walked in there, he's bought the company back, realized how much overhead there was. I'm sure he's They're a pivotal point in there of the of the organizations in a pivotal point right now. I can go one of two ways. 00:03:44 Speaker 2: Yeah, and it seems like if there's any man to do, it's gonna be Dave Portnoy. 00:03:47 Speaker 1: Yeah, lean and mean, let machine back, No question. He's a little thicker right now though. You can tell that the pizzas have been getting to him a little bit. 00:03:53 Speaker 8: Did you see his piece of review last week? 00:03:55 Speaker 1: Yeah, with the buddy with the shirt that was way too or shirt dominant? 00:03:59 Speaker 5: Year? 00:04:00 Speaker 1: Was he not? Was he not the best? He's taken his little head in there the year back out that was an incredible one and it was great to see Dave just get mad at somebody and then why yeah, and then watch the war on the internet of the guy. Because I went to the I went to Buddy's, Uh, what's the name of the pizza company, Dragon Pizza. First off, in that review, how incredible is it that Dave gave off the bad review before the the like conflict happened. It's made it so much better him to really stand Tanto's down that whole thing. Then Dragon Pizza puts a shittily drawn six year old photo and Dave posted is like, hey, the guy put made this, Ama, shall we sell this Barstow's like kind of low key doing barstool things again. 00:04:44 Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that's a that's a that is barstool full Yeah, through and through that is the Dragon Slayer T shirt. 00:04:50 Speaker 1: It's almost like they're paying them, like they paid that guy to do that. Like that was so barstool that like it couldn't have come out of perfect more perfect time. Too. 00:04:56 Speaker 2: You could see how upset the guy was too, like how mad he was, and now that it's all you know, kind of coming into fruition like unfolding. It's kind of like he did exactly. He went exactly into the trap of barstool sports. 00:05:09 Speaker 1: You could tell it the guy the owner, like if you think of what's going on through his head, probably Dave walked in and the goes is that the who is that guy? And like, oh, that's Dave Portland from Barstool Sports. He googled Dave Portnoy and the first thing that probably comes up is one of those hit pieces that the Business the Business Inside I wrote on him. He reads it, he's like, oh, I don't fucking like this guy. And he goes in. He goes, I don't like what you do for small businesses. No, like, no receipts, no knowledge of what Dave has done for small businesses, and just kind of says like lofts one up, like I don't like you because this and just a blanket statement, and Dave, obviously, as usual, comes correct and then he comes back he doesn't get enough of it, and and things had to go down the way it was. 00:05:47 Speaker 8: His reats, his receipts were everything, everything, everything. 00:05:50 Speaker 1: And it's like, come on, like you got the door, use it, like go back inside, gather hey, what do you got for me? And then get to his employees to get a couple of things and then rip back out there or repeated that guy's business, though he's fucking done, will no longer exist unless it's close to like news Insiders headquarters or whatever business insiders headquarters, and hopefully they can have pizza parties the every day because that's the only thing that's gonna kee him a float. 00:06:12 Speaker 2: And then Don of the Year comes out of nowhere. He's been popping off on social media. I started following him too. It's I love what he's doing. 00:06:19 Speaker 1: I love I love how. 00:06:20 Speaker 2: He's taking advantage of music with him and it is hilarious. I love how he's taking advantage of the moment. 00:06:26 Speaker 1: Man taking advantage of the moment. And one thing, shout out, one more shout out to Dave on this whole thing is his ability to get in that argument with Buddy and shipped on him back and forth, obviously fuming you like you can see like the tea pot is boiling, it's making that whistling noise in his mind. And yet people are coming up trying to take a photo of him, and he's like, yeah, you're a piece of shit. Absolutely, let me tell you another thing. 00:06:49 Speaker 2: He goes off a piece of pieces. She's like, oh my king with his background using the scrubs. 00:06:54 Speaker 1: Yeah, fucking fantastic, dude. It's over. It's over, brother, Dragon Pizza. The guy just doesn't know what he's doing. The guy just didn't fucking know. Well you can tell he doesn't really know what he's doing based on the attire he had on to attack the day, Like I mean, but like put it on. Sure that fits, brother, But I love that. 00:07:16 Speaker 2: I love how he came out looking like he's out of Back to the Future, just with a small Star Wars shirt. 00:07:20 Speaker 1: Just talking. He reminds me of the bully of Back to the Future. Dude, he's just that. It was terrible, just put a gun to the business's head. And I don't like his attitude n'like his fit one bit, not at all. Dragon Pizza Too is a terrible name. Not a fan Los Angeles, California. Comay on a guy in New Jersey. 00:07:38 Speaker 2: Oh, everyone from everywhere's gonna go yeah, yelp and leave a bad review. 00:07:42 Speaker 1: They're gonna crush him, dude, absolutely crush him. Do we want to talk about your retirement first Canada? Or should we have a moment landscape? 00:07:50 Speaker 8: Greatest white linebacker name Will Comptable. 00:07:52 Speaker 1: And also Jimmy Buffett. That was beautiful. I did. I was really thinking about when I watched that video. When you said to me last night and I just thought to myself, Man, it's one thing to be a linebacker. It's a whole different thing to be a white linebacker in the NFL. Like the Hug that's incredible how many times? Yeah, but off its line a little bit potter kicker off. It's a line like that. Those are kind of like where like white guys are still a low key safe but a linebacker, dog, it's a dying breed out there. Yeah, you can find a lot of guys. Drop a milk and a sea of chocolate. Yeah, and you're just fucking and it's you did it. You really did it. Yeah, it was a good run. How a good run? 00:08:43 Speaker 2: I was nervous sending you that video because so you called me afterwards. I was like, I was, you know, I was like, but also I need to send it to the boy and get his thoughts. 00:08:51 Speaker 1: Yeah, I thought you did a really good job. I was worried in the beginning. I told you this conversation, but we'll obviously rehash it again because people can listen to us. When I first started watching the video, I was like, I got nervous that you were going to fall back on humor too much and not like give it making yeah, give the moment. It's yeah, it's time to like really like give the game of football. It's like it's great and it's tip of the cap as you like finally walk away for real. Yeah, it was difficult. 00:09:15 Speaker 2: The boys can tell you, Like, my head was in an absolute blender of the entire week last week, just trying to think of all the different things, because it's, yeah, you like to leave with humor as a great defense mechanism on absolutely everything, but also, like you said, type of the cap to the game to that young boy who was obsessed with the fucking game back in the day. 00:09:33 Speaker 8: But now I thought it went well. Man, It's it's fun to like put it. 00:09:36 Speaker 2: All to bed because you can only do the you know, the year ten stuff for so long to where you're just like, yeah, I know it's debatable there. 00:09:44 Speaker 1: Yeah, because there was talk last year around February where we are like, you know, you'll be forty five, we'll be doing year yeah whatever, twenty six or whatever it is, because. 00:09:52 Speaker 2: After the the Vegas year, it's kind of like, you know, my mom had passed and everything else, and it's kind of like, oh, this is this is the last year, because it was the last five weeks of the sea. You're going off sending and sending the game off right, sending the boys off right, get get the squad into the playoffs, and you know, show me the paperwork the next week. But uh yeah, and then how the Arthur Smith and the Falcons just kind of you know, was came out of thin air. That's where it's like, Oh, people are in trouble. We are fucking back and you're ten is alive. 00:10:18 Speaker 1: Give me a couple of weeks. 00:10:19 Speaker 2: I need to get in shape, a little bit in shape, because remember you came to the shop and you're just like, yo. 00:10:24 Speaker 1: What the fuck is going on? No disrespect, I'm rely thinking like I'm driving over here, like Will Compton is about to go to the NFL, who has not taken it seriously at all. And there's these cats sitting at home right now with a dream and hope. 00:10:40 Speaker 2: Thinking like they're gonna get their mom out of the situation. They're gonna do X, Y and Z an opportunity to. 00:10:45 Speaker 1: Like for the opportunity be greatness, to have their their names etched in stone in the history of like being great. And you're like a friend of a head coach that's like, fuck it, man, we'll get you in. Yeah, like, oh, such a crazy deal. Spice myself up for a workout. That shit. It was wild. It was nuts. 00:11:00 Speaker 2: Man. It's like it couldn't have ended any bet Like it was just it's just been fucking cool, dude. 00:11:04 Speaker 1: Yeah, been cool. 00:11:05 Speaker 2: I had got to have some good old glory years that you look you look back on finally, and then you get to have like those three years where you're kind of balancing to and having fun with busts On the Boys and bust On the Boys is growing and everything else to where I do think I got to end like you know with Bisacia and the Silver and Black and the boys out in Vegas, got to play with the Titans, like those two different years that weren't back to back, and then it's like, uh, you get to kind of be done and make your ten like a fun little bit. 00:11:32 Speaker 8: But also it got to like almost come back. 00:11:35 Speaker 1: It was just wild to almost come back. 00:11:38 Speaker 2: And yeah, being in you know, like being just a minimum contract, just vet free agent, having like hey when do you want to sign? 00:11:51 Speaker 8: Like, hey, when would you like to come in? 00:11:54 Speaker 1: Wild? Just nuts. 00:11:55 Speaker 2: Yeah, based on the relationships that were built throughout the career, which is it's awesome in itself, but it's been help. 00:12:01 Speaker 5: Right. 00:12:01 Speaker 1: He goes to show it's not who you know, it is how it's you know. It's not what you know, it's who you know and how you know him? Right, Yo, He's no that ship in no doubt. Man, I'll get over there smirking in the back. Dude, I didn't like that. JP. Do you guys miss me or what? Hell? Yeah, dude, I missed you guys too. With counting down the days, man, doubt, I couldn't tell if Jack missed me or not based on the way his fuse was lit so quickly before we got on the show. Today, we want to talk about it? Weird. 00:12:26 Speaker 2: Well, we can stay it for the college, but we'll talk because I know, don't we want to get into some Canada. 00:12:29 Speaker 8: I see the look in your guys's eyes, like you. 00:12:31 Speaker 1: Know, yeh, you know Jack and I good no matter what you know, like we're bonding. 00:12:35 Speaker 6: I'll be waiting back here. 00:12:37 Speaker 1: I'll be waiting back here Canada. Uh you were you were off in in Canada? Do you want to talk anymore about your retirement? 00:12:45 Speaker 2: Is there anything else that I need to cover? Here, here's what I want to think of one question. Ask you okay, but but you go ahead and say what you're gonna say. 00:12:52 Speaker 8: I got to do the speech. I got to throwing some humor. 00:12:54 Speaker 2: I thought it was very much like how I would want to do a speech and then say all the right stuff there at the end, thinking all the people in there's again so many people you miss, like the training room and getting to name specific players like you, the boy Adam Hayward, A lot of guys that right there opening up that can of worms. You just catch your Goalston. I could rattle off fucking so many guys. Yes, Trent Murphy, Matt I and it is Houston boy pult McCoy dressed way just a lot of yeah. J Ryan Kerrigan, Oh I talk like that count Yeah Ryan yeah, RC. There's so many guys but you leave out Yeah Ryan Kerrigan, HBK heartbreak Kerrigan, the sexiest man in the locker room. 00:13:33 Speaker 1: That he's probably talking about Ryan Clark though. Now that I'm putting together in my head and I'm putting together that's today. That's that's on me. That's on me. Confidence mine, brother thrust. 00:13:46 Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, but uh, you get to do the speech, and then I got to have the conversation with Benn and kind of do a little intro outro, and then the Old Man surprises has a little video there at the end of that podcast that I did where it was awesome to see. 00:14:02 Speaker 8: I know, my dad is super proud. He got to say some words and he just. 00:14:05 Speaker 2: Did it in the I was sitting there watching because my wife she brings it up after I put Rude down and she's got it on. I'm like, what are you doing? Like, why why are you why are we watching? What do you get the podcast on? Yeah? And she had it on the TV. I was like, you know what, Mitch did say that there was something there at the end. I thought Mitch put something together and that He's like, I think you'll like. I was like, he did say it, so it's about to come up. And then my old man pops up on his back deck and just starts. 00:14:30 Speaker 1: You know what was your first insial thought when he saw the Old Man that day was like a try, I go did you do this? And he was like yeah. 00:14:38 Speaker 2: I was like, this is awesome, and my dad got to have some words and it just it fits in with what I was kind of wanting with that conversation is like I'm thinking, like down. 00:14:46 Speaker 1: The road one day where rue and. 00:14:48 Speaker 2: If we're lucky enough to have more kids or they have families, and you know, I got grandkids. They get to see their grandpa talking about it, and not only that, but they get to see their great grandpa talking about it about his son and being being proud, and it is just like, it was fucking cool. So to put it to bed and do it that way was you know, I loved it. 00:15:05 Speaker 1: What was the most difficult part for you when you're putting everything together? You said your mind was on a blunder for a week. 00:15:10 Speaker 2: Just figuring out what I was actually trying to do, because when I sat with Ben, it was such a long conversation and you know, I'm talking about so many different things and You're just like you're trying to It's just that balance of defaulting to humor making it more of a bit doing my doing myself the right way, doing the game the right way, like all these different like I guess, egos and personalities I've thought about playing, playing out my career was that was what was making it hard, was, Man, what am I wanting to do? Because there's a part of me I wanted to kind of do like that that playoff Willie Spin where I kind of I did that ab spoof, have JP. 00:15:46 Speaker 8: In there with my jersey, and I'm like, thank you all for coming today. 00:15:49 Speaker 2: And then it shows JP and he's like sitting there and all the other boys are kind of like this dude having a press conference, and it's like, today, I like to official announce that I'm walking away from the game of football. Then it cuts to JP and JP's like, you NOTICEE and he retired because you can't retire from greatness, And then all the other guys are kind of like having a weird little like side eye. But then I was just like, as I was put crafting the speech, I'm feeling like my real self that love the game come out and talk about it a little bit more. So I was like, man, I, I you know, I need to lean more to that because it seems like that's what I'm actually wanting to do. So that's kind of That's kind of like why my head was in a blender. And then when I was editing the episode, because I was trying to convey to Mitch. Mitch, poor Mitch is sitting there. He's just like, you know, what, what things are you wanting to cut out from that? He's like, you know, I know you can overthink about how like the conversation can go, which I very much do all the time. And since it was the retirement thing, I was like that perfectionist that like paralysis by analysis. I was just overthinking everything else, Like, man, just show me a couple of ways to edit, and I'll do it for you, so that way you can focus on other things. Because there's a lot of stuff happening at the bus last week. So I started editing, and as I'm editing, I'm like, man, it'd be cool to throw on some photos, you know, some of these transitions that as things got edited out and as I start getting photos, I'm talking about stories. As I'm listening to it, I was like, I'd be cool to have this photo in there, or the photo where it's like, yeah, man, me and Taylor before the boys. Things kind of took off in that photo of me and you in the tunnel smiling, and then it's like I had to watch Dejon Gomes's Bulldog, like I knew I had a photo on my photo album of his bulldog and it's like he doesn't know where any of these photos are. 00:17:20 Speaker 8: It's not like you can find them. Some of them you can on the internet. 00:17:22 Speaker 2: But then I was getting in my album and then putting it in with the timestamps, like oh, it'd be cool to kind of do all that. And then that's that's where that mine was in a blender because I was just thinking about how to go about doing it so much. 00:17:34 Speaker 8: Because it is it's like I'm putting it all to bed. 00:17:37 Speaker 1: When you when you really came to terms with like, Okay, it's really over now, I'm not going to do the bet anymore of your ten point two or anything like that, Like how long after you made that decision did you did this video come out? Cause you the first time I heard about it was I think right before we were in LA, Like. 00:17:54 Speaker 8: When did your ten point two style bit start to worry? 00:17:57 Speaker 1: When did you were Like when were you like, Okay, it's time to put to bed the NFL career, not just like we're gonna put the down the jokes of like ten point two and hey, they NFL can only keep me down for so long. I'll be back, I swear. And then yeah, it's like, Okay, we're actually putting to bed, putting the actual stamp on a career and being done. You put it in the envelope and you're yeah. 00:18:17 Speaker 2: It's like I knew I was wanting to retire for the longest, and I kind of wanted to figure out like how to do it. And then when the boys came out, John Rich and everybody for that year ten investigation, and I knew that would be a funny, like that would be like a funny piece. And it's kind of like the de Greade only do this shit, Like, you know, I don't want to just sit here and beat a dead horse on this, yes your timbit. So I was just kind of like getting over it. But the hard part is like when people are like, hey, you know, where are we going this year ten point two? Hey, I'm still rooting for you, and you're just kind of like you just want to It's like you keep it alive just for that little bit of a flame that was still there for other people wanting it and rooting for it. But it feels much better just to be done with it, so I don't have to, you know, you lean into those things. 00:18:59 Speaker 8: Then what is it your year eleven, then actually what then? 00:19:02 Speaker 2: And then when arts texting like hey, it'd be cool if we figured this out, It's like, are we being serious to I actually want to go fucking try and pull this off just for what the sake of the content. I feel like we're gonna click. We got to do that last year. Yeah, we got to like do that last year, to where JP's literally writing with me all the way down to Atlanta just to go do a workout and only afterwards go to like Popeyes. 00:19:23 Speaker 1: And do sandwich review. It would chicken sandwich because we're riding high. 00:19:28 Speaker 2: You go into that workout and you just like it goes your way and they're giving you breaks like water breaks, and like, hey, take your time. You know, all the scouts and coaches are out there, and you know I was performing well because I had those breaks and they weren't running me into the ground toy like oh it seemed like you're working out and stuff like that. 00:19:43 Speaker 1: You're like yeah, man, And then you. 00:19:44 Speaker 2: Get out and JP and I were like, you know, we're just hype, but it's like, what am I gonna try and do that again this year? And obviously like I'm not going to do it last. Yeah, like I'm truly not going to. I'm not wanting to. So it's I just need to say done. Well now the but you answered that question though, John Rich and those boys are gonna taket as their investigation is what led you to actually retire? 00:20:06 Speaker 1: I know, so do you need to clear that up? That was the hard part. 00:20:09 Speaker 2: But like once I was learning that that was the whole investigation piece, I thought it was funny and I know, like John he there, John and FACILITI they're trying to make content for barstool right Like they're trying to find their own lane. 00:20:21 Speaker 8: So it's like, you know, how can you you know, allow that to happen? 00:20:25 Speaker 1: But it did. 00:20:26 Speaker 2: It was kind of like I know I'm retiring, so's they're gonna knew before Yeah, I knew I was wanting to do something to kind of put it all to bed and retire. 00:20:34 Speaker 1: All right, got you? Got you? Got you? Because I did you guys feel this way that I felt like when you said the investigation thing happened, that made you really actually think about it. 00:20:43 Speaker 2: Yeah, that was me leaning into just being like being resistant on like I'm not going to allow this investigation to sum up like, yeah, this is me actually retiring, like actually giving in put I'm not going out on the terms of John Rich and them. 00:20:58 Speaker 8: I'm going to lean into No, you're ten your ten point two still live. 00:21:02 Speaker 1: Right, And so it took you about a week to get it done. Do you feel now that it's all over, Like, how does it feel now that you're officially relieving? 00:21:10 Speaker 2: Like last week they're like, we figure out that. But the bet the bus, it was not week zero last week. It was week one. So we're just pulling a fucking rabit out of the hat with bet the bus. 00:21:20 Speaker 1: They're all the boys. 00:21:21 Speaker 2: I'm literally telling them, hey, I need you guys to involve yourself a little bit more and bet the bus because I'm just not prepared to do the bet the bus all that kind of like the entertaining type stuff because I was so laser focused on this retirement stuff. Steve and all of them, they're one and a half conversations, and I just know I was giving off a vibe of like I don't care about this right now, like please stuff talking to me. Yeah, but uh but yeah, I don't even know what your question was. But I was like projecting all the boys that you know, Mitch Sender's like, hey, what are you trying to I was like, hey, just show me how to do this or fucking how can I don't know, be nicer to you. Not that I was being a dick, but you're just trying to figure out what I'm trying to do. There's a lot of stuff happened, and then all the layoff mind somewhere else. Yeah, you had all the all the layoffs happen. Like Ben had came in on Sunday, we shoot that conversation. I'm thinking about what I wanted to come off as and look like, and YadA, YadA, YadA. 00:22:13 Speaker 1: It's like, oh it is this gay? Is this not gay? 00:22:15 Speaker 2: It's ship like that. That's what ultimately is going into my head. Shut out the boys. You know, Jack, He's going up, Hey can we shoot this? Can we shoot this? Social lad? It's like, all right, I'll sell let's stop. Guys are pumping out social ads last week. Oh my god, dog, I'm telling you it's a good problem to have, because clearly busting is is sellable. But at the same time we're sitting here like, hey, we're not fucking doing a thousands. Yeah, Like the month of September. At one point it looked like we were supposed to pump out eleven blogs, two a week and on two different weeks, three vlogs in a week, and so we had to get on a call with a lot of the you know what, hey, we're not doing this, like we're not or not we're not doing this, but hey, how can we figure out a better way to essentially say we're not going to be doing this? And those conversations had to be had. Those were had on like Tuesday. They're obviously dealing with a lot up at barcel HQ, so then all the layoffs happen. So then you lose some of the people you're in contact with out there. But you know, we're well, we're taken care of by Barstool, Like everybody's reaching out to us too. 00:23:13 Speaker 1: Yeah, you like Bridges. It was the exact opposite where we're sitting here doing uh vlogs and everything every week and we can't fucking get a mad read. We'd be way more upset and being like, oh we're over sold on everything. Yeah yeah, yeah, we're with them sure in the back there, like we're in September and you guys are probably when it's not only like you know, half half empty maybe, but fucking you know, we have a big fall coming up with the Fall Tour and all that shit. It will be a nuts fall and all the boys pushing the cart in the same direction, right nows doing it. It's gonna be fun. Yeah, you guys want to talk about an exclusive partner of Barstool Sports here. We'll get into the game Cocks in a second week after that, South Carolina at Georgia. 00:25:05 Speaker 8: I know, we're fucking stoked for Georgia. 00:25:07 Speaker 1: Cox two Cox, two weeks, two Cocks. 00:25:10 Speaker 2: Then we go we go out to South Bend, Ohio State at Notre Dame. 00:25:14 Speaker 8: Notre Dame looks like a fucking team this year. 00:25:16 Speaker 2: About that the week after that, that's where that's that's the Bust and Bow. 00:25:21 Speaker 1: Yeah, the greatest, most prestigious Trophy game in all of college sports, the second annual baby, what is that? 00:25:27 Speaker 2: September thirtieth, and then we five, we go to week off, then we go to who's playing at Tennessee A and M. It's gonna be on this scene to October fourteenth and to finish it off, which is going to be a juicy atmosphere as long as LSU kind of shows back up. But Florida at LSU on November eleventh, that'll be. That'll be fucking That'll be awesome, dude. 00:25:52 Speaker 1: I'm so excited to dive into the college football season and then even the NFL season. Like I was obviously up in the Great White North earlier for this entire month and it's fantast like, it's wonderful up there, much much more slower pace, beautiful scenery and stuff like that. 00:26:04 Speaker 2: But my god, do they not give a shit about football? It is fucking wild. 00:26:08 Speaker 1: I was Canada. Yeah, it was great. Uh, it was good. Here's what I'll say about Canada. 00:26:15 Speaker 2: I like your Vancouver is what grand theft auto great? Yeah, with bears, with bears, that's all Vancouver is. And then that that that pissed me off. Vancouver and I'll fucking get to that. 00:26:24 Speaker 1: Like this is one of you know what, this is one of those trips thing uh Canada in general. This is one of those trips where you're gonna have a thousand stories from it because of all the things that had to happen. However, like if I had to say was it fun, wasn't not fun, It'd probably be closer to not fun than fun, because like the all the Fall tour stuff, and then the Boston and then Vegas, like all those things were in in like during Canada. So just when I'm getting settled in Canada, like you get those two three days that were like all right, I can finally calm down. I'm off to Vegas and I guess fucking dump meat on the tables. That was. 00:26:59 Speaker 2: Stuff even live right now, Like I literally just started sleeping good since then. 00:27:03 Speaker 1: Then I come back and I'm here. I'm home for like four or five days in Canada, and then boom, we're in La for four days. Now. When I get to La, there's a bunch of fires going on in Colona, which is where my wife's from, Klona Lake Country, b C. Like right in that area, fire's going on. I go to fly to Kolonna, and the fires are fucking Essentially, I can't fly from Calgary, which is in Alberta, to b C because there's too many fires at the airport's shut down. So Tailan drives her family and we meet. She drives to a place called Lake Louise. For those of you've never been to Lake Louise, a lot of you have not. It's like a fucking screensaver. The water is as blue as like the Titans blue on that hat, Like, oh shit, it's literally like that. The mountains are like the craziest landscape I've ever seen in my life, because it's like they just like it's you know, when we go to Arizona, it's like flat and then straight up like look at this. Go to the third photo. The third photo, that's that's it right there, and that's legitimately what it looks like. It is gorgeous, dude, It's it's insane. And there's a hotel right behind it that's like hundreds of years old, and it used to be a castle with the railroads going through it. And there's like a couple of places that are haunted and one door is even sealed because like something from the shining happened back then, and there's a bride who fell down the stairs and now she haunts the staircase and there's like hidden doorways and shs like that, and like the place is just massive. It's a fucking zoo. Like if you love open concert hotels, don't go here. But like historic beauty. The town of Bamf like it is. It is incredible. So we I meet the family there and that's awesome. Sounds like when I was a kid, we would go here all the time. So she like had a great time with that. That was a lot of fun. But I'm living out of that same suitcase from La and I literally you know how I I pack boys like I'm I got the same short song right now and I actually just wash them. So this is this is fresh pack light lift heavy. So I'm like wearing the same clothes there. There's like those levels of frustration. We go from Lake Louise to Bamf. Go and pull up Bamf for me, brother, because Bamf is another like small little town that's like super touristy. They have the cute little like candy shops and stuff like that. Kids can roll around. There's trolleys and stuff like that, like a beautiful little town that kind of reminds me of I would I would assume a Durango. You know, it's it's literally it's beautiful. Well, hey, out there for a couple of days, and then we cruise. 00:29:17 Speaker 2: Uh. 00:29:17 Speaker 1: Then then this is when I have to go to Boston. So we go to Calgary and the and the girls go to Vancouver and I would go from Calgary to Boston for our flight. 00:29:27 Speaker 2: And then reminds you you're in all these different places because everybody had to vacate. 00:29:31 Speaker 1: Everyone had to leave for the fires. Now luckily obviously, like you know, a lot of people lost, lost their homes and stuff like that. So like, while I'm over here having like this vacation with my family, Taylan's other family, like immediate family are in fires, Like are their house? Is their house going to get lost? Are their friends? There's friends houses are burning down, like and I don't know if you guys have ever seen a fire like the what happens after a fire. It's the most wild concept in the world. Because I'm jumping ahead a little bit, but when I got to Lake Country, it'd be like you would see like burnt trees and burnt grass, and it's all like ash. And then weirdly, like with these super exact angles, it would like the fire would just stop and it would be like green grass. Everything's perfect, nothing looks like it was even touched. And then like forty feet from there, it's like back to chaos. And it's just it's such a weird thing, how like things are hit and missed when it comes to fires, and it's really you're just based on like luck and wind, Like are you down wind from the fire. If so, you're fucked. If you're not, then you're gonna be all right. And so that is also going through our heads. We go, we go over to Boston. Now here's where my turmoil, turmoil and my heartache and all my adversity is is I go to La with you guys with two cans of sens. Now, I go through two cans of ens a day. La is a communist country because they don't serve flavoreds ins. Fine, but they still have z in. So I get myself a few cans of the Chills, lose my wallet, find my wallet. That was a big fucking deal. Get back, I run, I think to myself, I'm gonna get back to Lake Country. I have a lily, a fleet of zins. There nothing to worry about. I have to go to Calgary. Guess what they don't have in Calgary, boys, nicotine. They don't sell nicotine at all. So now I'm a guy who, for the last let's call it three years of my life, have gone through two cans of zins a day, a day two going to zero. I can't tell you how much my family pissed me off for those two days. I literally I remember I was in Calgary and Taylan says something to me. She says, I'm like, hey, can you do this? Can you do this for me? And I looked at her, go do I hear your fucking assistant? She says to me, like simple, like, hey, can you grab the case bring it up to the hotel room. I look at her, go, do ie I hear your fucking assistant? Dude, do I have like blah blah blah? And she's like, obviously it was like go fuck yourself in a hurry. And I and even even in my mind, like I don't know if any of you guys have quit nicotine or heroin, but it's it's hard because like, you know what you're saying and doing and feeling is wrong, and you know that the feelings you're having are because a lack of something else, but you also don't give a fuck, So you're like, she gets mad at me, So I'm thinking enemy and so I'm coming at Taylan literally like two days ago, tailoring, We're on the phone. She's like, Taylor, I love you. I will never go through another nicotine like situation with you. We have to quit. So luck of this whole fire thing, I'm actually weelve day sober twelve. 00:32:29 Speaker 2: This sober nicotine, you know, it is like a mixture with your personality as well, Like, yeah, I have a very addict Yeah, extremely addictant person. You go about it the way you pack, You pack like you live heavy. 00:32:40 Speaker 1: Yeah, And so it's very it's very difficult for me to uh to not have zends. But every day's gotten easier. And also here's what I told Mitch this when we were walking to the barstool wards is the fact that I was feeling the way I did because I didn't have something on me at all times was enough for me to be like, I can't I can't do zenzever again the yeah to live that way where you're just like I, I'm not myself if I don't have this thing in my hand at all times. It was a shitty feeling because when I was with you guys in Boston, I was literally thinking to myself like every minute was like an hour to me, every fucking minute, like when we were walking, like we walked for ten minutes. Yeah, and I can't bring it up. And look you, I can't bring it up in Canada too, And He's like, yo, shut the fuck up, like we get it. And I'm thinking, you wouldn't tell me that if I was coming off heroin, So what, so what's the problem? Like, look like Nicotine's one of the hardest things to quit when I'm told I'm defeating substance abuse. I've done a lot of substances in my life, a lot, and I've done a lot in a mass amounts where you would have to literally come down. And nothing's been harder than nicotine. Nothing. And so I do I do feel a whole lot better now, Like I am actually like sleeping a little bit better now, And I do I. 00:33:53 Speaker 2: Feel like you appreciate life a little bit more. I do yeah, because other and I were on the phone. Taylor and I was on the phone, and that's what you're gonna lead into. You're gonna lead into when you get back, and Taylor ends up calling me, and uh, I was like the boy and he goes he goes hey, ask me how I'm doing? And I go, how you doing? He goes bad? And we start laughing and I go, who are you around? And he goes nobody And take it from here, dude. 00:34:23 Speaker 1: I literally was just basically telling Will like, I don't know if I'll ever be happy again. He literally said, like I'm fighting this nicotine thing, and like literally like, I'm like forty seventy two hours at that point, and I'm like thinking to myself, like, I'm a very happy, go lucky individual, at least I claim to be. And I am a positive no bad days, no bad days. I'm a positive person for the most part. I legitimately am thinking to myself like, will you, like, will you ever be happy again? Like in my mind, I'm like, was it just the zens the nicotine that made me happy? Go lucky? As if at eighteen years old or whatever, when I didn't even notice in was I don't eve think they were even fucking being made. Yeah, I legit was like going through that process. So anyway I go from Boston, I'm I I Finally I think once I left Boston, I like that's when like the real like appetite forsins like started to curve more. I still talked about it quite a bit, but like Boston was fucking hell, and I knew I could go get him in Boston. That's where that's where it really bothered. That's where you were. 00:35:19 Speaker 8: That's where you were deciding am I gonna go all in here and quit? 00:35:22 Speaker 1: Or am I not? And you kind of wanted to go get him. 00:35:23 Speaker 2: But also you did hate the fact that you were like enslaved to being like I hate that I fucking have like need this. 00:35:28 Speaker 1: We were at the bar. We were at the bar and we were talking to these two fucking textbook Boston guys, textbook love the Pats, love all that ship. I hate you guys. His z ins on you, it's like, yeah, pulls them out, pulls out chills. It's like, oh, you don't do flavors because like they don't sell flavors in Boston. I'm thinking, what the fuck are we doing in the corners of America, trying to be like that little burden your I'm like, don't do it. He told me not to take one. I took it out and I put my lip and what did I do? You immediately spit it out, immediately took it out. And I was like, I can't fucking be that guy. Dude, I can't be the guy like I have. I have two kids. If I my kids get bad habits and I look at them in the eyes and I go, hey, you got to stop doing that, Like they're not going to think, well, dad in twenty twenty three, you couldn't quit zins when I was six years old and three years old. But I'll be a phony to myself and I'll legitimately that happened another time too, because when we got back to Lake Country, I had all those stacks of zins and I walked in there and I stared at it for about five minutes, and I put one in and I walked down and I threw it. And the biggest thing for me was going back and seeing my family and being like I just put us in in ten seconds and I threw it out. But I wanted you guys to know, because I feel like i'd be like I I want to lie to people, like I want like my no no joke, Like I legitimately, this is how crazy it is, dude. It's fucking three years, three years, two kids a day. I legitimately wanted to lie to people and tell them like I'm not doing it and then somehow sneak away and have my own zins to myself and like and I do that. I do that with chocolate all the time. Do you like, like, legitimately I be a fraud to myself Like that that's how I Hey, you're a if you're a fraud, but if people view you as a fraud, is any different? And that was like that's the kind of fucking thing we're starting to doing. So anyway, I'll leave Boston. I fucking I go to I go to Vancouver. Dude. All I hear about Vancouver is how fucking great it is. Everyone's like it's so beautiful, it's amazing, Like everything is just oh Vancouver, it's so clean and so majestic. Like and here's the thing too, is Canadians don't like Americans to say what you want. And I know that I have I have family and friends in Canada that are gonna call me after then they see this and be like, come on, bro, we like we like America. Now you guys don't. You guys don't like America and you guys say shit about America and then you claim like like I had somebody tell me that you guys don't even know history, like they don't teach Canadian history in America. I'm thinking, why the fuck would they do that? But they're like getting on me about that, and they're like, you know, you guys in America are like this. I'm thinking we're not so different because they're like, you know, Trump's an asshole. I'm like, howne guy. Feel about Tudeau. They're like, that's a fucking cook. I'm like, okay, we're the same. We're the fucking same, Like it's all it's all the same, and it's just like if you take let me let me lay down a couple things for you guys. Ninety five percent of Canada's population is is within one hundred miles of the US border because the rest of it's fucking eskimos frozen tundra, Like you can't fucking live up there, Like it's oil rigs and stuff. So if you just said, what are the values of Washington, the state of Washington go up. It's the same exact thing as BC. What are the values of South Dakota, North Dakota, Idaho? All those little plain state go up. Alberta. It's the same thing. So what I just tell you, BC's real blue. Alberta's real fucking red. And that's kind of how it goes. If you just go whatever state is next, that's how they view the same shit. It's the same thing. They're just missing the Bible belt. That's all it is. In Canada. So people are telling me how amazing Vancouver is and it's the cleanest city in the world. I get there, I get to Vancouver. Let me start by saying it is a very pretty city. It is. When you're flying in. You see the fucking the water, you assume there's orcas everywhere, like bridges, landscape, bears, you think forest, it's all fucking beautiful. Yeah it is. There's a heroin addict on every corner. There's drug homes. Actually yeah, all that stuff's legal in Canadas. A lot of homeless people. I thought to myself, why there's so many homeless, like people just fucking using syringes and needles and stuff like that everywhere. And it's the most expensive city of all time too. I get. I go to like the North Vancouver area on this like doc and I'm like, I go in this little parking garage with my family and and town's like, hey, lock the car. There's a lot of petty crimes in Canada. Now. I love my wife to death, but every time we get out of a car, it's like, hey, lock the car. There's a lot of blah blah blah bah. Like you could be we could be in Bonta, Missouri, but gotta watch out around here. It's probably not honey, We're gonna be fine here at the petty crimes. 00:39:48 Speaker 2: But we leave our stuff on you know, yeah you keep it locked up? No, yeah, exactly to teach me that, hey, we gotta to lock our stlf. 00:39:54 Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't lock my shit here. I lived think so. I've lived in America for thirty two years. I'm thirty two years old. I've had a gun pulled on me one time, and I've had my car stolen twice. That's three crimes have been committed against me and my thirty two years of life of living in America. Okay, so that's one point two crimes every ten years. 00:40:15 Speaker 8: You really thought about this. 00:40:16 Speaker 1: I've spent nine months total of my life probably in Canada. I got my backpack stolen out of the back laptop that I fucking dialed in. Second laptop, second laptop, laptop stolen. 00:40:29 Speaker 8: Like, dude, you guys, you got a questions TV. 00:40:31 Speaker 7: Ill just I was gonna say, where's the first one. 00:40:34 Speaker 1: I left it in? I left it in Vegas. That's esa. But that's my own doing. Airport people would argue too, that this is my doing too, that unlocked the car door. But it's like, there's no question that that's that's that's all. That's on me for sure. But Vancouver figured your shit out. Dude, that's crazy. You can't be the most expensive city to live in North America and also have that that kind of crime. That's just crazy. Can't have both, right, pick one bad thing, you have both of the bad things, you know what I'm saying. And so fuck Vancouver. 00:41:07 Speaker 2: When Taylor, hang on, hang on, when Taylor told you not hey locked the doors all You're like, I. 00:41:12 Speaker 1: Got it, I got it. But this is I'm posts at this point four days posted. 00:41:17 Speaker 2: There was a little gap of flying over from Boston, being on the runway, eating food, feeling sick, You're tummy acting up that I got sick. 00:41:26 Speaker 1: I got I literally landed from Boston and I go to the hotel Talent's at and I'm like, uh, hey, I gotta go throw up real quick. I literally threw up. I felt like shit, I felt terrible. Man kad not a great start. And then I drove to the Airbnb. That could have been or it could have been the meal I had on the plane that was. I mean, you look at it and you probably think, don't eat that, and I is still ate it. So that's kind of maybe more of what it was. But yeah, I literally my my backpack got son And it's not like, I mean we had this conversation. Uh, there's not a lot of things that bothered me. If I'm like my wall in La like to me, the those type of things like if you lose them, they're gonna come back. 00:42:02 Speaker 2: That's one of the more wild stories. We can talk about that one right after this, so we don't get on it. 00:42:07 Speaker 1: Like for me, it's not like if I lose something, it usually comes back because I don't put a lot of value in like things, in anything except sins. Yeah. Literally, like there's not a whole lot of items that I possess that I'm like so drawn to that it affects me. But I took a lot of time with this computer to fucking set it up. Dude, could on bro and it wasn't. It was literally like two weeks. I took a lot of time to set up this computer, no fucking joke. And here's the shitty part is, I started typing up a bunch of shit and like kind of just putting my thoughts on paper, but also writing letters to my kids like that I was gonna give to them, like when you're six years old. This is what you like, this is what you and I do together, this is your personality ball And I kind of write all these things down. I'm like, I have some value in this computer. That's not just a dollar sign right now, I'm like fired about it. And I wrote down, uh, fucking what's it called? You know that little thing I sent you on Instagram of what I want to do for twisted tea. I wrote down like all like like three one minute clips of it and I was so dog I finished that ship. I was so fine. I'm like, Oki, I a writer. Now I wrote that ship. I was like, damn, I'm kind of fucking guarantinoing my life. I'm writing it. You didn't set up doc cloud. No, I don't even know what that is, but that I know, and then people don't. Oh you said iCloud, Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, I didn't do it. 00:43:35 Speaker 8: It's not on Google docs or sheets. 00:43:36 Speaker 1: He's like, oh no, I put on pages on pages, I put on pages saved. I did the fucking three sweep, the three fingerswipe up that G taught me. And I had like different desktops. I had the middle desktop was with all my pages on. I was like, I'm so fucking organized. And the left one I had the trello and all our fucking calendar and all that ship. 00:43:56 Speaker 6: I had all of it. 00:43:57 Speaker 2: And on the other side I had my little my textes where I would fucking pull up I get my little clown horn noise and I'd pull that up and let me hit the scribe back on my computer quick. 00:44:05 Speaker 1: I have my shit dial bro, and no, fine might because you could find your I put that into no joke when I when I found When I found uh, I found out my my laptop was gone, I got so fucking mad and Tailoring bless her heart, she goes, I told you, and that's the worst fucking thing you can say this way. But she said it like she didn't say it, like she didn't say it like, hey, I fucking told you. She's like, oh, honey, I told you, like like I should have listened. And I'm thinking, I'm gonna throw you off this parking garage. Dude. I love her to death, but I was so mad at that point. But she was just she was truly just trying to help. Can I ask? I walked around for four hours and looked at every homeless guy. I walked up on a homeless guy and I was like, some of the home. I was like, walking up on him, and he goes, you, ever, what's wrong, dude? You never seen a homeless guy laying on the ground before. I was like, I don't know. I was a homeless guy ever seeing my laptop and I'm like, me and this homelest guy start talking. He points me in the direction of where I should go. I go out to way homeless encampment with Quinn Taylor's brother, and we're like talking to homeless people and we're like, hey, you're trying to solve this bowing out five hundred dollars for this laptop and like, I'm on it, brother, and their fucking cruise over and they fucking vanished into the darkness and they're looking for it. We obviously didn't find it, but go ahead ask me a question. 00:45:18 Speaker 2: When Tayling was like, hey, lock the doors, you made the conscious decision to continue to out. 00:45:24 Speaker 1: Lock, I'm lud you brought that up, because that could have been lost in translation here. When we got the rental car, I was driving the rental car and I drove us to this parking garage area and then I get out of the parking garage. I get out of the car and Taylor's like, hey, we're the keys. And I was like, oh fuck, I don't know. I thought you had the keys. She's like no, no, no. So we started looking for the keys and we couldn't find the keys in the car, but the car would start, so I was like, Okay, the keys are in here. She's like, well, you should really lock it. There's a lot of petty crime here, and I'm thinking we're gonna be an hour, bro, Like, what's gonna happen? We end up doing three hours and I got back, dude, and it was just they're just gone. Where were the keys? 00:46:01 Speaker 2: Were you? 00:46:04 Speaker 1: The keys were in there, right, they're in there. But what's funny. The reason why I found out my backpack was actually missing is because I got into the vehicle and went to start the car and it said key missing, and I was like, oh shit, it must have been in my backpack. So I ended up calling him on the phone. Tails I just call and they'll turn the car and for you remotely. I'm like, this isn't fucking an eye robot, Like, they don't do that. But I called and they said, yeah, we don't do that. Was like okay. So I'm there and me and Jason are literally walking. I'm walking up on fucking everybody looking for a black jan sport backpack. Black you're looking round bottom, not just a back It was the first time since I was probably sixteen years old. This is about twenty two years old, that I was legitimately like ready to throw down with the first person that like looked at me the wrong way. I could have very easily been on a Vancouver News I probably wouldn't have arrested, but huh with the your license photo? Oh look crazy look. Yeah I would have done that too, Yeah, dude, So that was that was the worst part Vancouver. I thought Calgary was the worst city, but it's actually Vancouver. So Lake Country school though. I like Lake Country, dude. But you know what's you know what after I got did after I got like, after I left and got to the house, I just took some Duke Cannon out rubbed myself fucking down because you were stinky there for a minute, dude. We want to hear what you guys think about it. Thank god you had it on your trip in Canada. 00:48:53 Speaker 1: I needed it. I needed a bad dude. 00:48:54 Speaker 2: But one thing I didn't have a much of in Canada's fucking college football. Yeah I did see when you posted that video of like I'll keep me posted the Michigan game, like. 00:49:03 Speaker 1: Ah, that sucks. It did kind of sucked because I was also. 00:49:05 Speaker 8: Having a family day. So that's positive. It's like you do. 00:49:08 Speaker 1: It was. It was solid, but it was also like, yeah, so the Week one football. I love Week one, brother, and you just kind of want. 00:49:14 Speaker 2: To almost we almost fully loved Week one? What oh Nebraska? Yeah, dude, like you got you. 00:49:22 Speaker 1: Just gotta stop being so soft on your franchise, like you just what. I just kind of feel like you're always finding that silver lining. Like sometimes it's like you need to have a good long look in the mirror for real and realize, like, hey, let's really figure it out. Right. 00:49:37 Speaker 2: So just to be clear, and you think that after the very first week of the rule era, where the defense played well, we quarterback, we had four turnovers, which is not good. You gotta protect the football, two false starts inside the five yard line where you don't come away with what you want. You want me to draw all I'm in the sane and start calling for heads after week one and like. 00:50:03 Speaker 1: No, and that's a good way to used my words against me. What I'm saying is is like every single time, like how many games did they win last year? Nebraska doesn't matter. They went three games last year, like those nine losses. Will comes in here, low key with a smile on his face. He looked like the way he did after we lost some beer ball and beer Olympics, like nothing nothing really has affected nothing's really affected him at that point, Like he's just like, this is the reason why we lost. He's very understanding of it. And then he like gives up reasons why they lost, and then he moved he moves on. It's like, let's hold Nebraska a little more accountable for what's happening. And I understand Mattrule is gonna get in Nebraska back on the truck. I don't doubt that at all. I really believe they're going to do that. Minnesota, tell me what you want me to do, Dude, tell me what you want me to do. Just a little tough love. I want you to give a little tough love. I want you have a little more tough love. 00:50:54 Speaker 2: And I've talked about it, talked about that. I've talked about NBC Dad right now, you gotta you gotta do list. And we learned that from the same from the same head coach. You got to build on the good. You gotta fix the bad, and you gotta eliminate the shit that gets you beat. Cannot be false starting at on the goal line. 00:51:09 Speaker 1: There's no question. 00:51:10 Speaker 2: We can't be false starting we're shooting ourselves on the foot. We can't not come away with points right before halftime. However, now let's think about the good. The defense played well. The defense. 00:51:21 Speaker 1: You would watch the game. You didn't watch the game. I watched the highlights. 00:51:24 Speaker 2: It doesn't mean like you. If you watch the game, you see a defense that was playing with a weird confidence and swagger that it was a little unexpected, Like, Okay, these boys are out here thumping, they're talking a little bit of shit some things that you didn't see. The back end is playing well. I'm excited to see them play against Colorado this week. But it's like we're playing against the Minnesota team. We're running the ball. Yes, we gotta correct some things on offense, but I'm not gonna sit here and have some tough love on a quarterback that it's he just got to Nebraska and it's his first week. 00:51:51 Speaker 1: Simms. 00:51:52 Speaker 2: Yeah, Jeff Simms. Jeff Simms, it's his first week and it's like, we gotta have some momentum and confidence. We're not gonna shell up and listen to the outside noise. I'm not gonna be one of the those fucking guys that just starts pointing the finger, because there's good to build on. And again, yes we beat Minnesota. There's a debate out there is are they good or are they not good? But let's not act like we were in Ireland and we're up eleven points trying to throw a little on onside cake against Northwestern, who is abysmals a football team last year. Minnesota hasn't lost four games since twenty and eighteen. They have a program that's moving, they have they played good football. Yes, not the strongest offense from that quarterback. I think the jury's out on end. But this is a program that hasn't lost four games since twenty and eighteen. 00:52:32 Speaker 1: And we had four turnovers. 00:52:35 Speaker 2: They had won they were Minnesota was minus three in the turnover category. Yourself, if you're going in, if Rabel's going in and we have and we're what, what is it minus three plus three? 00:52:44 Speaker 1: If we're up on turnovers? What is that? 00:52:46 Speaker 8: If we're up, is that that's it plus three plus three. 00:52:49 Speaker 1: If we're plus three, you're pissed. 00:52:51 Speaker 2: That you came out of a game winning on a game winning field goal and the crowd storms the field. Nebraska is minus three in the turnover margin. Rain the ball, well, yes, we got to take care of the football. Yes, we can't fumble in four minutes when we're running the football. Well, it's nice to see Irvin's got he's punishing guys, says let's give them the ball a little bit more here. But I'm not gonna start doing the Here's what the coaches need to do. Here's what everything else. 00:53:15 Speaker 1: Now. I want to build on the fucking I want to give confidence. You just did that. Do want Here's what the coaches need to do. Here's what this is to do. But I'm saying publicly vocally, I'm not gonna be the one sentence you say. We need to get that running back more than you say. But I'm not gonna tell everybody what to do, right But. 00:53:28 Speaker 2: I'm letting you know that that is there. However, I'm not gonna be one of them. 00:53:31 Speaker 1: What do you think I'm asking for right now? I'm just saying, you're asking for tough love. 00:53:34 Speaker 2: You want me to publicly be like, when are you gonna draw the line in the sand against Nebraska? Is that not how he's coming up with a question. At least at least get some guys in the back to help me out. 00:53:41 Speaker 1: Go ahead, boys, how are you pointing to me? Go ahead? Boys? 00:53:47 Speaker 7: It did seem like Taylor was trying to make Will draw the line in the saying again. 00:53:52 Speaker 1: I'm saying enough enough. I'm saying one's enough enough. And I think Will Will does a phenomenal job of keeping it positive and that's great, But brother, how long are wenna keep it positive like this? 00:54:01 Speaker 2: But what we're the negative that we need to be? Like, it's not the same team as last year, you know what the problem? That's what everybody wants. 00:54:07 Speaker 1: Everybody's like, oh, same old story, but it's not the same team. You don't think it's the same team either. I don't. I think we're gonna be really I think we gotta. But when you say a lot of things gonna happen this Saturday with Colorado and Nebraska that are gonna surprise a lot of pop I say, can I think that? Can I say one more? I don't? 00:54:22 Speaker 2: I say one more thing? When you say win's enough enough. But yeah, I know it's not the same team as last year. When you say wins enough enough, you're bringing in what any type of history we've had one week, it's like, Okay, win's enough enough. 00:54:33 Speaker 1: You're uh, you're you're when your wik is one week, you're over. You're overwhelming positivity to a franchise that just isn't fucking doing it? 00:54:42 Speaker 2: Like, did you not did you not see the postgame pantry? No, I'm not absolutely positive. I'm trying to like this fucking sucks. 00:54:50 Speaker 1: It sucks. 00:54:50 Speaker 2: The boys fought hard, but you know what, there's some good on that film. Let's not fucking buy into all the noise that goes on right now. 00:54:57 Speaker 1: Maybe I should have watch Sweep one. I gotta quick. 00:55:01 Speaker 4: Before Michigans started being good again? Did you die on the hill for them? 00:55:05 Speaker 1: No? 00:55:06 Speaker 4: So if Will's dining on the hill for them even when they're bad, what's the line that he needs to draw? 00:55:11 Speaker 2: Oh? 00:55:12 Speaker 1: Thank you? G Wait, you asked me if a front runner he's calling you, he's. 00:55:18 Speaker 2: Saying, now the Michigan's good, Yeah, right, you're now, Hey, gloves are off, I'm coming for heads. I'm missing that. Ohio States sucks. You guys didn't even cover against who is it? 00:55:27 Speaker 1: Eastern CU, Eastern Carolina and at a shitty school. Is does not make it? Why like, you pull your guys as fast as possible. When you get the w you move on. That's what that's called looking towards the national championship. But what I'm saying is what's you're asking me, is you think I'm being a front runner. What I'm saying is is when it when the when the standard wasn't good enough with the University of Michigans, that I stand by and say it's okay, guys, don't worry. You gotta do a couple of things. I was like, no, this is bad, I Louise you, we should fire a harball. Was I wrong? Absolutely? I was wrong. But now look what the tough luff brought brought them. They fucking looked themselves in the mire. They go, oh shit, T lou Is telling us we're not good enough, and they fucking did it. I talked to the boys and at the golf course. I talked to the golf course and they're like, hey, honestly, yeah, we were fucking pissed at you. We didn't like you very much at the face. So I was in their fucking head. I made them look in the mirror, not just think, Oh, it's gonna be okay. We's gonna play a little bit better ball front Runner, Dude, I'm willing to draw a line of the same for the head boys. Shit's not good enough right now. It's tough as an alumni to see this. I hope to god it gets better. Do I think hardball's doing enough job? No? I don't think he's doing a enough job now. Just as much as I can puff up my chest, I'm now laying down my sword saying I was absolutely wrong with the situation. You guys looked in the mirror, you did your work, you came back, and now we're the number two. 00:56:37 Speaker 8: Head after one game. 00:56:40 Speaker 1: I'm not calling for your coach's head either. 00:56:43 Speaker 2: You're still asking what's out of you? 00:56:47 Speaker 1: Like, what are we fucking why? Why are we going to keep this over when we positively about Nebraska. 00:56:51 Speaker 2: Because we're in the fucking trenches. Man, We're in the trenches right now. Sway on them, bro, We're in the fucking trench. One man, we gotired. Only one of us is retired. That's all I gotta say, dude, hey, it's yeah, I. 00:57:07 Speaker 1: Understand where you're coming from. You know, you know, I'm trying to think. I'm trying to think of it a moment that I can come from my business with Michigan and you see how much it helped them. I'm just saying, you're just patting them on the back all the time, bro, And it's patting them on the back. I'm not patting them on the back. And also like you're speaking out of bus sides of your mouth too. Well, guys running, he's running fierce, he's running me here. We should definitely hive the ball a little bit more. But I'm also gonna tell these coaches what to do because well, you know, trust the process ball ball Like. 00:57:35 Speaker 2: Yeah, but think of you as a player, Like when you fuck something up and the coaches like I should have called some different and there's a moment to where you're like, yeah, maybe we should have, but also fucked that I should. 00:57:42 Speaker 1: Have blocked that motherfucker better. 00:57:44 Speaker 2: Like, but you figure out a way, Hey, put it on me, put. 00:57:46 Speaker 1: It on me, And you need some of that. 00:57:49 Speaker 2: You need that mentality, you need that accountability going on. 00:57:51 Speaker 1: It sounds like to progress, hopefully, rule fi. 00:57:55 Speaker 2: Right now, we're going into Colorado, and we can't be all frantic about it, like it chicking with their head cut off. We just need some hay. There's some bad shit out there. Let's fix it. This isn't this isn't fucking you know, start throwing grenades and start covering your own ass. 00:58:08 Speaker 1: This is just week one. Don't worry about the outside. No, I'll tell you what. I'll tell you. What Nebraska has is a major opportunity going into week two. We really do. Everybody is counting them out. We already knew TCU is a fluke last year. We fucking knew that immediately. Colorado is not as good as people think. I want. We talked about this morning. I want so badly to be on the deon Santa's train, but I'm still a little bit skeptical. I think Nebraska they keep it within one score. I think as a Nebraska fan base, you need to be really. 00:58:35 Speaker 2: Proud of that, so you're always say we're losing, Yes, can we keep it within one score? 00:58:41 Speaker 1: Yeah? I think you guys are gonna lose that game. What's the line? 00:58:44 Speaker 2: It's minus three Nebraska right now. I'm just kidding it's minus three Colorado. 00:58:48 Speaker 1: Minus three Colorado at Colorado. Yeah, oh, I would take Colorado all day on that. That's fine. I hope for that people do. They're going to cover that. I hope people do. Oh yeah. But the good news is you guys are gonna start oh and two, and then you're gonna go to Northern Illinois squeak, got a win there and go one and two. Louisiana Tech. Sleepy, let's go one in three. Now you're one and four against Michigan Illinois toss up, we'll give it to you to two and four. Then who you got after that? Illinois Northwestern? I mean that's ah. That is like you guys are super Bowl after what happened in a week zero. So we're three and four, you guys, cause hopefully Purdue. Purdue was abysmal this past week. We lost to Fresno State. So four and four now we're gotta be happy about that. Gotta be happy about that. Michigan State four and five, Maryland five and five, Wisconsin five and six, Iowa toss up. Best case scenario, we're looking at a five hundred team here, best case and low key. It really hurt that you guys lost to a fucking team that there's no business being mentioned in the same breath as Nebraska. What are you talking about? Minnesota? Good luck with all that? Man six and six? Do you want to know just what was Wol's prediction on his team? Was worst prediction? Team three? Okay, I would, I'll bet, I'll bet all the money. I said, whatever, you want to bet that my my, my records closer than your record. Listen, good luck, good luck with you? Don't you don't got to pull up Michigan. We're twelve losing mission. Isn't twelve and Z going to the Big Ten championship? Then then the whole the whole season was a fluke. 01:00:40 Speaker 7: Is there no worries on the game against ECU? It's because they seem to go a little slow? 01:00:46 Speaker 1: No, I think well, first off, you have to think too, is with the new rule changes in college football, everything is it's a running clock until two minutes at half in in the fourth quarter, so time of possession is going to be way different, especially with the team that holds the ball a lot more and they're not a running gun spread offense like if you look at Ohio State versus Indiana Ohio State versus Indiana. Last year, Ohistate has seventeen possessions on offense. This year they had ten possessions. Like that's that's with that rule change. It's a small little rule change, but it's also going to play in the favor of a team like Michigan who does a great job of holding the clock, playing good defense, and taking their shots when they need to have it. That's gonna play big time into the University of Michigan. Not covering, that's just a line. That's just that's Vegas not keeping up with the rules. There's that. And also, when you have your head coach out, you want to get your lead that you know you're gonna win with, get your boys out of there, get to week two, because this is not it's a long season. It's a long season. You want to get not covering this whole great teams cover, like no one gives a actual fuck about that. That's a cool line that somebody made up that loves the gamble. That's all that fucking is. 01:01:47 Speaker 6: That is so false what great teams cover, because it means that they're better. 01:01:51 Speaker 1: Truly, it's like a handicap in golf about the rec jack if they didn't, if they didn't, if they didn't pull their guys, if they didn't pull their guys, Ohiman, if they didn't pull a guys five minutes in the third quarter, then they would have done it. Dude. Covering with a thirty three point spread is way different than covering in a seven and a half point spread. Obviously, Ohio State's gonna cover a lot easier on Indiana because it's gonna be a little bit more of a deal when they pull their guys out then, and then Indiana's gonna fucking bend the knee when you get to when you see Michigan get into the low double digits and the high single digits of it. Now you need him to cover. Now you need that. What's the line versus UNLV probably twenty eight, twenty seven to five? What is it? You have a computer in front of you, Jack, I'm this. 01:02:34 Speaker 6: Pulling up y'all schedule is fucking a joke. You guys play Penn State and Ohio. 01:02:39 Speaker 1: They don't ask how, they ask how many exactly you guys play? Fucking Let me just let me just tell you. I want to tell you something right now. 01:02:45 Speaker 6: Michigan thinks that they're all that, and I want to kay play off and get wipe. 01:02:50 Speaker 1: The way you're talking right now is projecting all this you're doing better. 01:02:55 Speaker 6: You love to act like when you don't have what you're doing right now. Oh he's getting mad. No, no, I'm just I'm honest. And you'll schedule is always weak and that's realistic, Jackie. 01:03:04 Speaker 1: You're the arguments you're making were what we're talking about. We're talking about lines, and then you go to your schedule this week. That's those are two separate categories of an argument. That's what I'm trying to say. The anger you're coming from is basically when I said, Tennessee's got a lot of holes, or well, that's why your petation, that's why, that's why your protection so much. There, let's look at the line. Let's pull up UNLV in Michigan thirty seven. They will not cover that you Michigan will not cover versus a Elphie and I hope to god bet the bus what's up I said? 01:03:32 Speaker 2: Or the time where you just said you got a computer, look it up yourself. 01:03:35 Speaker 1: Well he's the he's the guy that literally has the thing I said. We look at the line I'm just saying the aggression. So let's do let's you said that it looks like Tennessee has holes. They they did have a big win. What were the holes this morning? This morning? This morning, Will and I were in the son and Will said that out loud. So I just said that the bank jack matter earlier. 01:03:55 Speaker 6: I mean, no, go look at my Twitter. If you look at the Twitter in the first half the Tennessee game, Will's not wrong at all. They over ross We We had a wide open sixty hour pass keating unfortunately he dropped it. We had we had issues first game. You know, we still did though we covered. 01:04:13 Speaker 2: Great like great teams do great teams do. That's a fun Nebraska Nebraska's want to know. Against the spread? What's Michigan? 01:04:21 Speaker 1: Oh? And one? Is that what you want? Would you rather be twelve and aguins to spread and lose? 01:04:25 Speaker 2: Every game depends because you guys aren't gonna be out there, dude, I mean seven, Michigan's not covering against UNLV. 01:04:35 Speaker 1: You can bet that. 01:04:37 Speaker 8: You said Michigan's not covering against UNLV thirty seven. 01:04:41 Speaker 1: I mean, have some I'm not I'm not betting that. What faith? What are you talking about? I want them to win the game. They're gonna win the game by twenty eight points, Like, how much more do you want to win by? Just keep it fucking moving, Get Dubbs winn, Natty dude. I can't wait until Michigan. Michigan is in a fork in the road situation with with their season. I don't think Hardball is gonn to be there next year out of his choice. I think he's gonna go back to the NFL, so they don't need to win the National Championship this year. Jack, I hope Tennessee's in it for the same reason as I lay down my sword. I hope Tennessee's in it because they've had the same issues in the past that Michigan has as being relevant in the nineties, not relevant at all in the two thousands and tens, and so now we have an opportunity to maybe meet up with the playoff have a little fun that way. 01:05:19 Speaker 2: But if we're gonna have an attude like this, brother, like let's let's fuck it. So you don't want, you don't want, you don't want Nebraska to win the same same scenarios, Brass is not gonna win. 01:05:26 Speaker 1: I'm not talking about things that are relevant. That's not gonna happen Michigan. 01:05:30 Speaker 2: Nebraska is not gonna be good this year, right, They're going to be a six and six team at But you being like, oh, I hope they do good. I'm gonna lay more start down because we're familiar. I hope you don't hope Nebraska. 01:05:39 Speaker 1: Do I hope Nebraska does good. 01:05:41 Speaker 2: But you got us loosen to Louisiana Tech. If Nebraska to say, oh, loosten to a team that shouldn't even be in the same breath that Nebraska. 01:05:47 Speaker 1: Goes six and six. If Nebraska goes six and six, that's Nebraska doing good. That's being in the step in the right direction. That's Matt Rule getting a program on the right track with obviously the players that aren't his players yet he's gonna get transfer portal. You go six and six out a program like Nebraska, you're looking at least an eight win team in the year after that, and then you're looking at double je digits after that. That's what I'm saying Rule has that. He shows it in this track record. He's gonna do a phenomenal job with that. I'm saying, you guys are not in the conversation that Tennessee and Michigan are in right now, boys, five years from now, Michigan might suck Dick and it could be a big fucking jump on Taylor in the one party. We can have that party. But right now you'll be knowing you'll team on this bus. You'll be nowhere to be found. 01:06:27 Speaker 6: Played today, Tennessee would win one. 01:06:30 Speaker 1: Harball. We don't have Harball. 01:06:32 Speaker 6: You have whoever you want. Yeah, harball, you can throw your fours up. And I mean that. I know. It is the most biased opinion. 01:06:39 Speaker 1: Coming for me. 01:06:40 Speaker 8: Such a hypothetical, I know, but I think if. 01:06:42 Speaker 6: We took a vote, Tennessee has a better team than me. 01:06:44 Speaker 1: It doesn't do nothing, I know. I'll tell you right. Let's see the SEC guy, SEC guy, Ohio State guy. Yeah, the vote. Obviously they're on the. 01:06:51 Speaker 6: Tv U n l V bowling Green Ruggers no offense, Nebraska, Minnesota, Indiana and then Michigan. 01:06:59 Speaker 1: Yeah eight no, yes, because half of them are high school program only. The only problem we have on the schedule. 01:07:06 Speaker 6: Now, Hey, I was stoked with what I saw with Nebraska. They had promising stuff. I think they'll be you just call them a high school program. No, I'm talking about un LV bowling Green. 01:07:15 Speaker 1: Hey, well, you're catching strays in Jack's argument, it's not about you right now. Don't take it personal. He's he's coming at me, am I which, Hey Jack, I'll tell you something about the schedule. I don't give a fuck, like I'm happy about this, Like bring out the ponds. We'll fucking have them all, we'll. 01:07:29 Speaker 2: Knock them over, and we'll go into the playoffs with guys that. 01:07:33 Speaker 1: Are more healthy taken care of because. 01:07:35 Speaker 2: They're not thinking, they'ret even thinking about big DAN championships anymore. 01:07:38 Speaker 1: It's literally when the natty or fuck off. That's that's how Michigan needs to be viewing this thing. That's how it is. You've been in the playoffs two years in a row. You can playoff two years in a row and be honest with you haven't done shit. That's that's the tough love stuff love we're talking about. So when you're like with your schedule, who fucking cares? They don't ask how, they ask how many? Yeah, you're in the SEC. Congratulations. The SEC is the strongest conference. Maybe I mean, but there they're the strongest conference. That being said, Mischigon go in the Natty, will put fucking Georgia and Alabama in our fucking regular season after that? Who fucking knows. But I'm just saying, what a weird argument that is. I don't understand that it's an SEC argument that people have. 01:08:16 Speaker 6: We just scheduled an argument. You look at an SEC schedule versus a Big ten schedule and it's very obvious. 01:08:21 Speaker 1: Years or more going into wars. 01:08:24 Speaker 6: No question have to be juggernauts. 01:08:26 Speaker 1: Look at the Big ten. Rutgers in Maryland is in the Big ten. That's terrible. Rutgers in Maryland should be like Washington State and Oregon State. They should just be fucking kind of floating in the abyss waiting to be picked up by some sort of things so they cann be bait for people fishing with bigger. 01:08:41 Speaker 8: Schools against strides Maryland and Rutgers. 01:08:45 Speaker 1: First off, it's Maryland, you and the pronunciation of big ten teams. My broly, it is tough. Are you a little rattled right now? 01:08:53 Speaker 6: No? 01:08:53 Speaker 1: What's to be raddled about. You're talking a lot. I'm talking a lot because I'm back on this podcast. My team is at the top. Ops Forth two in the country. Jack got a little mouthy. I got mouthew with Jack two and I can. 01:09:05 Speaker 2: Take it wild under the table shots in Nebraska for somebody that was it's. 01:09:10 Speaker 1: Really not right now. We had your thing a minute about Nebraska. Maybe it about Nebraska. Nebraska, if they go six and six, you guys should be the fucking happiest program in all of college sports. And that's a compliment. The bar is low for Nebraska right now. Like what else do you want? I don't know. 01:09:26 Speaker 2: We could be talking about our Week two matchup against Colorado, like look into the future versus look thirty minutes on Michigan, East Carolina and Tennessee and whoever they just played. The guys are univer hypotheticals, clearly involved with each other, yelling, yelling. 01:09:41 Speaker 1: Milton played a good game. Seventy completion percentage, your interceptions, three touchdowns, two hundred and ten yards. 01:09:48 Speaker 6: Two touchdowns. 01:09:49 Speaker 1: But yeah, yeah, well I thought he was better than she was. 01:09:53 Speaker 6: How many JJ McCarthy, you have. 01:09:54 Speaker 1: One, he had three, You have three? 01:09:58 Speaker 6: And what happened in the third quarter, let's say, hey points against TCU. 01:10:01 Speaker 1: Yeah, because he got pulled. He was done for the day. 01:10:04 Speaker 6: Hence why Michigan. 01:10:05 Speaker 1: Hen's why they didn't cover. 01:10:07 Speaker 8: How do you think Colorado's gonna do this year? 01:10:09 Speaker 1: I think Colorado's gonna do. It's so hard to tell. It's so hard to tell because we, like we talked about this morning, like what Colorado did against TCU is truly historic. And the way Dion's handling it, what are he's talking about that receiver? They missed him on two sixty R bombs. I think that plays both ways. Yeah, he plays put over one hundred and thirty STAPs and like they're like, don't get it, twist we miss him on two sixty R bombs or two deep balls. That Heisman's us in his living room and he walks away like that shit's fucking That goes hard and it makes you want to root for stuff like that. I just I worry that program. The coach is fucking elite. He's he's showing he's elite. But that is viewing that type of confidence, and we've seen it so many times, getting overconfident and then this is not a shot. A lesser team comes in and spoils you because you just had a big up, Like Colorado could be on upset alert this week they're not. They're gonna I think they're gonna win. But I think I. 01:11:06 Speaker 2: Think it's gonna be, like you stay upset alert, like Colorado's ranked in the fucking top. 01:11:09 Speaker 1: I think Colorado. I think Colorado thinks, oh, we're gonna blow Nebraska out of the water after they just they just lost to Minnesota. I think it's gona be a lot closer to people think. 01:11:17 Speaker 7: But you said you have met all your money, that Colorado is gonna easily cover the spread against. 01:11:23 Speaker 1: Nebraska because it's minus three, right, Yeah, they'll they''ll cover that. So I'm saying, but like you're you're saying Colorado is a lock to win. What do you Okay, you're a casual fan. You're watching Colorado versus TCU. TCU was in the playoff and Colorado donkey fuck's TCU and you did. Then you turn on the game and you watch Nebraska. Donkey hey, exactly, donkey fuck. Then you fucking put on the game. You put on uh, Nebraska versus Minnesota, and you watch that barn burner and you say, oh, that team that there's lost in Minnesota is now playing Colorado, who plays scored forty five points. You're thinking it's a casual fan, They're gonna blow them out of the water. You're thinking, I just said that it's gonna be a lot harder than they think. 01:12:03 Speaker 8: If they're going over confident. 01:12:04 Speaker 1: But you also say, going over confident, what do you. 01:12:07 Speaker 2: Think score is gonna be hard to say? 01:12:12 Speaker 1: Are to say, especially since I watched zero college football. 01:12:16 Speaker 2: Um taking a lot of shots, taking a lot of shots at these teams, a lot of shots at the futures. Obviously, I believe that Nebraska can win this game. I think we can win close one. I think maybe twenty three to twenty game winning field goal maybe something like that. I think it will be close because Colorado has offense. I mean, Shadeer threw for over five hundred yards set a school record, and like Taylor was saying, like what Colorado did, Dion and that program has done in one year is historic. Nobody thought that they would beat TCU. They come in and Dion has it's like almost seventy new guys on that roster. To come in and put up forty something points on TCU is historic. Like what he did and what they're gonna do at Colorado is going to be awesome to watch. 01:13:22 Speaker 8: There'll be a documentary on it one day. 01:13:24 Speaker 2: But beating that TCU team as much as everybody's like, oh, they beat the number seventeen team in the country, the same team that was in the college National Title game last year, arguably one of the top two teams. They start off the in the preseason poll at seventeen. It's crazy. It shows that they don't have the depth, they don't have the turnover in the program to just you know, spin them out every year. And they lost fourteen I believe starters, and they lost their OC and they lost their oh yeah, they lost their OC. Now their offense was playing well, but defensively, they were ninety first in the country last year in scoring defense. They have won two guys retained from that defense, and it shows obviously like they were a wet napkin Colorado. They're just throwing bomb for bomb, going after each other. Colorado doesn't have defense. They don't have the guys in the trenches. I think their offensive line struggles with stunts and protection. Now Sanders is a dog, he's good. I think we need to do whatever we can to take away his first reason, get him into his progression, to see if we can rattle him, but we do got to I'm excited to see our defense play against that offense and Travis Hunner like they got three cats. He did distribute the ball round well, but they're three playmakers, Sanders Edwards and a Hunter. It's like, you got to find a way to yeah, with over one hundred yards. No, he really did, so he did. They you know, they played well, but again against the TCU defense that it's like, how objectively that win? I get the historic stuff, but if you remove that and just look at the game, it's like, how good is that offense going to be? 01:14:56 Speaker 1: And I think it'll be fun. 01:14:58 Speaker 2: It'll be fun to watch Nebraska play at Colorado against Colorado because no one believes that. Everybody thinks the same old story in nebrask are gonna get blown out the love of God, I hope not. But seeing the good from Nebraska, if they can just build on that stuff, block out the noise, and focus on like playing well themselves. 01:15:16 Speaker 1: Question about there's gonna be a lot of Braska got blown out. I'm not sure that's what They've always played. 01:15:22 Speaker 2: Teams close twenty five one score loss is now twenty six in the last five years, five six years now, which is hard. It's like you just need these boys to win one close game to know that they can believe. 01:15:32 Speaker 1: Right, they're close. 01:15:33 Speaker 2: But you go in, You run the ball, you run the rock again. I don't think Colorado doesn't have defense. You run the ball, you control the clock a little bit more, you protect the football. 01:15:41 Speaker 1: I think that they can. 01:15:42 Speaker 2: They can beat Colorado, and there's gonna be a shitload of red in that stadium. 01:15:46 Speaker 1: I didn't know that before we had started this entire conversation. I didn't know that Nebraska had three turnovers or four turnovers or yeah, and in Christian Dale and in Minnesota only scored thirteen points. Sounds like black shirts. It sounds like black shirts are they were playing well to be given out this this year. 01:16:01 Speaker 2: They were Uh, I forget what their yards per carrier were, what Minnesota's was, but they played good defense. Man, they challenge the receivers, Brown undercuts somebody, uh in man to man coverage and pick somebody off in the corner. Like they played well. And Bro before what was the score right before halftime? Three ten three? Yeah, ten seven? Right before half, bro on the goal line, false start, trying to get a trying to hurry up on the ball around a quarterback sneak getting getting the inzo in. Yeah, false start, they got to go back five they got to go back five yards and then Sims throws the ball a little underthrown, but the corner made a hell of a play, fell off of his coverage and picked it off in the ENDZ. So so you get no points going in half. They get the ball a half to so you least kind of points. 01:16:45 Speaker 1: Yeah. 01:16:46 Speaker 2: Uh, you're you're you're playing up with momentum going in just coming out of a half to kind of pulled that out because it makes this week much more enticing for things like college game down. I know, I know, but also since again, if you don't watch the game and you just see the Nebraska lost to Minnesota, you do think this is a blowout. 01:17:01 Speaker 1: But there are moments like you know it's a blow it's thirteen ten and you see you obviously see the one highlight. 01:17:05 Speaker 8: I'm saying Colorado's gonna blow Nebrasco just because that's. 01:17:08 Speaker 1: Well, that's what I was arguing about before when it was kind of like a get Mata Taylor session, is you're fucking looking at it and you think, as a casual fan, you're gonna wash it and be like, oh, Colorad's gonna blow at a brasca, which I don't think is gonna be the case. I got you. 01:17:20 Speaker 8: I mean, we weren't doing the hat on tailor seessis. 01:17:21 Speaker 1: No, no, no. 01:17:22 Speaker 2: When you're saying all this stuff kind of putting you foot in your mouth a little bit, it's like, we gotta go back. 01:17:26 Speaker 1: And check some reality. 01:17:27 Speaker 6: Is. 01:17:28 Speaker 1: Like I've said multiple times, I didn't watch any college football. I'm kind of just saying shit. I know, you know, but one one one. 01:17:33 Speaker 2: Team that never puts their foot in their mouth is Bow Janngles, Dude. Bo Jingles now is. 01:17:36 Speaker 1: More family, more family meals options for your next tailgate gathering so you can focus on fun and leave the food to Bojangles. You go, Oh, the the bowberry berry dude, that's what the biscuits they have to see that a little jet like a little frosten on top of it. It's gonna be it's gonna be a fantastic time. Dive into what we're done with college football. Jacks are any less thoughts you want to bring up about Tennessee. 01:19:42 Speaker 6: Anything you got about Michigan. 01:19:43 Speaker 1: No, I've said my piece. We're gonna win the nat Championship this year. 01:19:46 Speaker 6: Yeah, well there you go. I'm good. 01:19:49 Speaker 2: Well, I do have one last thing on the college football landmark, and he's squeaked through this whole thing. But I'm disappointed as well. South Carolina dropping the ball against Carolina. And I'm not saying North Carolina's to hang on. I'm not saying North Carolina's a bast football team. They do have that Heisman candidate in Drake May. They were favored, but I understand that, but it was a bummer not to see South Carolina play. Like I feel like there was this energy that, hey, they might come out and show that they could be a player in the SEC. And I feel like they kind of fumbled the bag on that one. 01:20:19 Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean it was hard to watch, but you know, of course, there are excuses always. We had a lot of injuries. Juice Wells didn't play on like the first play of the game for our defense, Emmanuel and Maari got hurt, like our best guy on defense. The old line was thin, and then yeah, I mean the old line, that's where we lost it. And as bad as they played like, we still had a chance to win in the fourth quarter. And kind of like how you're saying about Nebraska. The best thing about South Carolina's schedule is you have opportunities to change everybody's mind. This week we have Furman, then we go back to back at Georgia and at Tennessee. 01:20:58 Speaker 1: Those will be big. I think I think we're going to steal one of the two, not to steal one, and I don't think it's Tennessee. When we went three and nine. 01:21:06 Speaker 7: A couple of years ago, we beat Georgia when they were like number four in the in the country. Our three wins were Georgia U n C who won the a CC that year, and then like some trap or we beat Vanderbilt and lost the Citadel Gotta. 01:21:20 Speaker 1: That's and that's the thing about the SEC, dude, is they they're always playing the jacks point about I don't know what the point he is trying to make, but the schedule, it's just crazy, Like you guys can just just playing teams. 01:21:33 Speaker 8: That is the point trying to He's coming back. 01:21:36 Speaker 6: I know that doesn't matter. 01:21:38 Speaker 1: No, it bugs you a little bit, That's okay. 01:21:40 Speaker 6: The only thing it bugs me is that you guys play high school teams all we get stuck. 01:21:43 Speaker 1: Don't don't takes to Nebraska like that. You know will for whatever reason. We'll do whatever you can to put a chip on his shoulder. Right now, it's just we need a few more weeks. 01:21:51 Speaker 6: It was awesome this week. I mean, there was obviously the issues the compliment on the l no. 01:21:56 Speaker 2: I I was he understands that program that Minnesota like has Again, like last year when I made all the excuse in the world about the Northwestern game. 01:22:07 Speaker 1: This was a Northwestern team. 01:22:08 Speaker 2: I think afterwards I was like, oh, Northwestern might be the greatest team in the Big Ten. 01:22:11 Speaker 1: We don't know yet. Time will tell. They were like the worst. They won one game. 01:22:14 Speaker 2: That was the one game that Minnesota has a Minnesota has a respectable program. Time will tell if they, you know, Gbot get back on track from last year. But yeah, we lost to a program that hasn't had more than four losses in twenty eighteen. 01:22:27 Speaker 1: And this is a different Nebraska team. I do want to, by the way. 01:22:32 Speaker 2: Our new merchants out Taylor and I will rock in our new distressed shirts. Distressed shirts. There's a few teams we have. 01:22:39 Speaker 1: I don't know. You guys know how the game works. 01:22:41 Speaker 2: The minute you guys cry for it and be loud and proud, and we can show prove the data that the fan base will buy the apparel. 01:22:47 Speaker 8: We will make those searchins. 01:22:49 Speaker 2: But until then, it's the Staples, it's Nebraska, it's Michigan, it's Tennessee at Tennessee Titans and Raiders. So if we're not in ball country yet, that is one I think we need. 01:22:59 Speaker 1: To Yeah, I don't know why we wouldn't be in there again. 01:23:02 Speaker 2: It's got to be a proven Yeah, we gotta earn it. We gotta prove it. We're all about it. We just we need you guys to be loud enough so we can go to barcel back. 01:23:08 Speaker 1: Listen. 01:23:08 Speaker 2: We gotta fucking get back. We gotta make these. We gotta make these. Yeah, these shirts do you hit hard? 01:23:12 Speaker 1: I like these. The distress is the move because you feel like you're wearing something a little vintitchy. This thing was pressed a week ago, you know, special, very special. We're gonna bring any stuff on our fall tours. 01:23:22 Speaker 2: G We're gonna bring any merch to kind of sell give out. 01:23:27 Speaker 1: Bustle Ball is gonna be a banger. We're also we're gonna do a live show for the bust and Ball. I don't know when those tickets are gonna be on sale, but just get that thing ready, get that thing ready, all those tier ones up. 01:23:35 Speaker 2: They might be available. But we might need to find new material. I'm sure we have based on all this. I'm sure we'll have some fun material. 01:23:42 Speaker 1: We'll have something. 01:23:43 Speaker 8: So we transitioned to the NFL. We got Week one of the NFL season coming up. 01:23:46 Speaker 1: There's football. 01:23:50 Speaker 8: We are back. Did we jump into our division predictions? 01:23:53 Speaker 1: Let's do it, dude, pull them up. Where do we want to start? The AFC East, Let's start the talked about the bring that well, well let's bring that to the end. Okay, let's so go to uh yeah, NFC West. This one's pretty easy. I feel like let's start with the NFC. Starting with the NFC West. 01:24:11 Speaker 2: We have the Arizona Cardinals, Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco forty nine ers in the LA Rams. 01:24:17 Speaker 1: You want, I'll Something I do like is the countdown and saying our one word answer I who're gonna think is gonna win? And go from there the division? Yeah, who's gonna win the division? I do like that? You know? Yeah? Sure? Yeah, JP can count down from three, three, two one? Niners? Simple? Boys? Is there anybody else who thinks any differently? The Niners are gonna wipe the floor at the NFC West, pretty simple? Yeah, I mean, anybody go back down place. Anybody who's gonna compee Seahawks. It's definitely not the Cardinals. The Seahawks maybe, but I just dude, I don't I don't think Yeah, four ninety healthy quarterback, Yeah, it's it's not even it's not gonna even be close. But who's the fucking tough Gino's cooking? But dude, they got I'm not sold on a really good, a phenomenal coach playing there is very difficult loud. I you know, I need to see a little bit more before I can really you know, last year, Yeah, he had a phenomenal year last year. Absolutely, and it's like he's he's a read. 01:25:31 Speaker 2: They can make noise, But I don't think this will be I think they'll be competitive this year, but I do think it's the Niners division to lose. 01:25:37 Speaker 1: I do think that. I do think this year, I see I was a good football team. Gino. Give me two games. I'll tell you in two games. I'll let you know in two games how I truly feel about Gino. It's just tough to see, like kind of the the beginning part of his career and how he got drafted and things just won't really working out. Then he gets to Seattle, has a hell of a season, like he said, he's setting records. I just don't know if I can like plant my flag in the ground, be like Geno's my guy for fucking life. Here in Seattle. You know what I'm saying. Pete Carroll though he's one of those coaches. It's like, holy shit, dude, like you always dot an opportunity to win with that guy as your head coach. Cardinals, no fucking shot. Shout out Paris Johnson though, and jo and joshda Oh it's raised a week one starter. 01:26:16 Speaker 6: Yeah, and what people do who. 01:26:18 Speaker 1: They're playing week one? Let's see. 01:26:24 Speaker 6: Who was the Yeah, wow, Washington in Washington. 01:26:30 Speaker 1: In Washington. 01:26:32 Speaker 7: Wait, so that they retired in Jersey that they or No, No, it's later down the road. 01:26:37 Speaker 2: I'm working with the guys commanders right now to see like when I'm gonna make my return. 01:26:41 Speaker 1: Yeah. 01:26:42 Speaker 7: I knew there's a couple of dates out there, but I didn't know if anything been locked in yet. 01:26:46 Speaker 6: Yeah, there we'll get. 01:26:49 Speaker 1: Is anybody feeling it differently? 01:26:51 Speaker 7: No? 01:26:52 Speaker 1: Move on? 01:26:53 Speaker 6: All right, NFC South, This one's a little tougher. 01:26:56 Speaker 1: You want to do three two one? Sure? Right, three two one Falcons. I kind of changed my stance on that really because I thought I thought you might go to New Orleans. 01:27:09 Speaker 2: I think it's between I was saying Panthers, but I think it's between the Saints. 01:27:14 Speaker 8: And Falcons. I think Ridder makes a big leap. 01:27:17 Speaker 2: I think the way Bjon Robinson's gonna get utilized, it sounds like he had a hell of a hell of a camp. 01:27:24 Speaker 1: He is as advertised. 01:27:26 Speaker 2: I think they got a I think they got a good defense, and I think this will be where you got Kyle Pitts, you got Ridder, whill make a big leap. You got Bjon Robinson, you got some weapons around that, you know, art. I think he'll cook up some stuff based on what you saw a few years ago with the Titans when we led the league in scoring average thirty something points a game. Yeah, I think this would be the year to do it, you know what I mean. I do think the Saints will be tough. Ye, I think they will be fucking tough. They got a lot of pieces. I think Carr is gonna do well, having kind of a new start. 01:27:56 Speaker 8: In New Orleans. They got a good defense, they always do. 01:27:59 Speaker 2: Cam Jordan still there, the Mario Davis ras Well coached Tyron Matthew's still out there. 01:28:06 Speaker 8: You know, they are gonna be tough. They are gonna be tough. 01:28:09 Speaker 2: But I do think I'm gonna give the edge to Atlanta there is a little bias coming from that. 01:28:14 Speaker 1: But I'm root because I'm rooting for. 01:28:15 Speaker 2: The Boys, obviously, the last team I was with, but I think it's out of Atlanta. In the Saints, I'm going to Atlanta. 01:28:23 Speaker 1: I agree with everything you just said, just to play a little bit Devil's advocate, though, I think expectations need to be tempered on Bjon Robinson. He obviously had a help of camp. People are seeing this, praisers talking about him being a first round pick in fantasy draft. He's still a rookie and he could have one of those seasons like one rookie does every single year. But how often do we see the rookie that everyone's talking about in camp unfolds the guy at the end of the season. Now, I think Bijon's gonna be a fucking stud. And when the Boys here we do our fantasy draft on Wednesday, I'm gonna be looking to snipe him up early. But it's gonna be fucking hard. It's hard for me to say, like there's so much hype and I hope he lives up to it. However, it's like you got to give the guy a little bit of grace there. I think Derek Carr going to the Saints that change the scenery, all that got some weapons. Who's the guy who only runs slants? Michael Thomas? I mean, is he playing or not? 01:29:11 Speaker 6: Like? 01:29:11 Speaker 2: Is he still he's playing right now? 01:29:14 Speaker 1: I mean, and you give it to him. Carr is gonna be slinging it. The team likes to sling it. They've got the vets that you talked about. So I think it's gonna come to those two teams. I think Tampa Bay is like the Cardinals. They're in that tier. You just there's no shot they're gonna be good this year. They're gonna be hungover from the Tom Brady area. It's done. I'm excited to see what Carolina does. 01:29:35 Speaker 8: I think Carolina would be competitive room for Bryce Young. 01:29:37 Speaker 1: Yeah, I think Bryce Young. Dude, he's so little and adorable sitting there behind that massive offensive line. I hope he crushes it. I really hope he does a good job. So based on how you went through those teams, are you New Orleans? Are you Atlanta? Now I'm Atlanta, But I just said I like the beginning. I wanted to kind of pull a Dennis Kelly where I was like, I agree with those things. However, I want to see these sides as well, because New Orleans always is a stout defense. They play very sound defense. They're bringing in car a quarterback that you know, people is Alvin Kamara? Like did he die? He? 01:30:09 Speaker 7: No? 01:30:10 Speaker 1: Is he really? These teams for what PD? 01:30:15 Speaker 5: Oh? 01:30:15 Speaker 1: That's right? During the Pro Bowl? 01:30:17 Speaker 6: Right? 01:30:18 Speaker 1: Yeah, that's probably why there's not having a whole lot of news about him, because I was like literally looking around and like, yeah, is he dead? 01:30:25 Speaker 6: He's the Tennessee Games, Wigan. 01:30:29 Speaker 1: Williams. So yeah, I think I think I think the Saints are going to be really good, but I think this is like the turning point for the Falcons. I think this is it, especially second year quarterback. They got Pitts who's going to his third year, right, He's going to his third year. Yeah, third, It's definitely not a second I was thinking third or fourth. But yeah, they got studs. They got studs, and they can really make it working at a vision that's easily winnable. 01:30:55 Speaker 6: Before we move on to the next just one word answer breakout. Rookie player in n s C. 01:31:00 Speaker 1: South. 01:31:01 Speaker 6: Is it Bijon or is it Bryce Young? 01:31:04 Speaker 1: I think it's I think, yeah, even though I just said all those things like temporary expectations, that's gonna be probably him over Bryce Young. 01:31:13 Speaker 6: All right, uh n C North. 01:31:15 Speaker 1: Great White North. This is tough, man, I don't think it is. 01:31:21 Speaker 8: You don't think it's tough. 01:31:22 Speaker 1: I think I think what we've seen in the last three divisions, it's the same thing. Goes out of two teams, but a unique two teams. You ready, JP, I'm ready, hang on already. No, I'm not ready. I'm not ready. Good three? It is fucking hard. Three two one Vikings. I was thinking you were gonna go Lions. I was gonna go Lions. At the end, I was like, you can't really take it away from Kirk, like I know, but his process. You watch the show Quarterback. You see how how fucking Dylady is JJ. Dude, he's a ninety nine on Madden. Like, guy really can't be stopped. You saw when they did a joint practice against the Titans. He was letting them to fuck up. Their defense is super solid. To me, I think the Lions could definitely win this division, and I'm okay with being wrong on the situation. But Vikings, just the way they did it last year they won a couple of big games. They won the game. But like, Vikings are a team that are gonna win the games they're supposed to win. I think they win this division. 01:32:31 Speaker 8: You know what, I'm switching. I'm going back to the Vikings. 01:32:32 Speaker 1: Are you then let me make up? Let me talk about the Lions for a second, dude, because. 01:32:37 Speaker 2: Just I just O'Connell and again the Rams coming over from LA seeing what they did over there, like they're gonna make a big jump. Here's why they have the heart they're right now. They're deemed having the hardest schedule in the NFL. So the Vikings, Yeah, toughest schedule in the NFL, th like the Tennessee Volunteers. Yeah, sounds like of the NFL. And uh but yeah, I don't I honestly don't know why I'm I'm pulling going against them. Maybe it's the the excitement surrounding the Lions because I think they have a good roster. I hate, you know, I think the Bears could be competitive, and I hate taking away from the backers, the boys of the backers. But it's just too much of a question mark on the past, a question mark. But I am I'm gonna switch I'm gonna go Vikings because I think O'Connell, I think another year in the system getting comfortable Kirk. You brought up the quarterback and his process is like, man, I can't just bet against my boy like that. 01:33:22 Speaker 1: It's hard. 01:33:23 Speaker 2: He's got the right mental to do it. Yeah, he's got the right mental to do it. And you could see in the process of like the show quarterback, like Kirk really truly wants to be great and he's got the pieces around him to be great. Coach, another year in that system, he's dialing it all in. You saw, Like literally that show quarterback just keeps ringing in my head of like how how much more respect I've gained for Kirk? 01:33:45 Speaker 1: And I just think that they're the team to be in the NFC North. I think the Lions, bro, they got it. They've got the head coach, they've got the pieces on defense. Their offense, yeah, they got that, they have players on offense. But at the same time, like I just feel like the Vikings are too much right now. But if the Lions win that division, it's one of those things where like I'll honestly be pleasantly like pleasantless surprised, Like I'll enjoy being wrong in that situation. 01:34:09 Speaker 8: Yeah, it's a better spot to be into. 01:34:11 Speaker 1: Yeah, and I I think with the Packers, you're you're in such a question marks. 01:34:17 Speaker 8: Well they could be a tough like you get you get Aaron Rodgers out. 01:34:21 Speaker 1: JP, I'm all I love. I want Jordan Love to be good too. 01:34:25 Speaker 2: And there's there's gotta be a breath of fresh air with Aaron Rodgers twelve removed out of that situation, not that he's not one of the greatest of all time, but there was so much there, Like there's so much history between Aaron Rodgers and the Packers. Now that it's removed and it's Jordan Love's team, and you got obviously you got everybody knows I'm biased and love the staff there. 01:34:43 Speaker 8: They could make some they could make. 01:34:44 Speaker 2: They could be surprising, especially if Jordan Love is comes out wheeling and dealing, they'll be the team. 01:34:51 Speaker 1: Yeah. The reason why, like I want to hear why you want Jordan Love to be good. But the reason why I want Jordan Love to be good is like the history of the Packers. You go from far to Rogers, like two Hall of Famers and then this guy and you see like kind of like the paralleled history of the two, like how far was going out when Rogers came in as very similar to Rogers going out and Love coming in. You kind of just hope it's like the same shit that would be so cool to me to see, but I just don't see it. Why do you want Love to be so good? For that same reason? 01:35:20 Speaker 7: And I feel like while Aaron Rodgers was there and Jordan Love would get in, like the fans kind of disrespected Love and like it was kind of like, oh, how is he not ready yet? Like he's been behind Rogers, He's I don't like. I just feel like they haven't really respected him as much as like. 01:35:36 Speaker 1: He's never had an actual shot. So still the first Always root for those guys. 01:35:43 Speaker 6: Mm all right, last division in the NFC. 01:35:48 Speaker 1: NFC East, NFC East. 01:35:53 Speaker 2: Ready, yep, I got mine three two one Eagles come on, dog damn how baby samn Howe. He's got a lot people are riding with him right now. I think, uh yeah, I think new ownership, they sold out this first game. I think there is a different energy in Washington right now, and I'm I'm pulling for the boys. 01:36:14 Speaker 8: I like, uh, who's their backfield? 01:36:16 Speaker 2: Gibson and Robinson love the love that one two punch Eric b enemy there, you know, coordinating that offense, calling the shots. You know, you got a scary terry on defense. They added Cody Barton in the middle uh to play with their Uh. I'm Johnna blank on the linebacker who they drafted like the first or second round a year or two ago. But they have an insane D line that they always bring back. Jared Allen, Payne, Chase Young and then who is it Sweat on the other side. Yeah, Jonathan What did I say, Oh my fault? Yeah Johnathan Also yeah, Jared Allens. But Jonathan Allen, Payne, Chase Young and Sweat on the other side. Like they have pieces, man, And I think there's a new energy right now on Washington. And I want to pull for the boys. I do not want to be but it like this. They play, they they do what they can potential wise. I do not want to be on the wrong side of history. And I am pulling for the boys. I'm pulling for the boys in Washington. 01:37:12 Speaker 1: Yeah, but you're all I feel like you're pulling up. The odds are not in your favorite the situation. The Eagles are the best, the second best put the other team, if not the best put together team in the whole entire NFL. 01:37:23 Speaker 2: True, But Jack, can you pull up the Eagles schedule and because I do agree with that, Eagles are gonna be fucking tough. But the NFC East has to play the what is it the AFC. They they play the AFC East. They're playing the. 01:37:40 Speaker 1: Bills and Bills and the Eagles. 01:37:42 Speaker 2: Are getting all that in the back half of the year. Back half of the season. Like, if you look at the Eagles roster, where are we at right now? 01:37:53 Speaker 1: Look together? The Pats Patrick dead number one? 01:37:58 Speaker 8: They gotta stay healthy. 01:37:59 Speaker 2: But if you look at later in the season when they're they're playing you know, you got you look at Eagles, they travel, they play at the Rams, then they then they travel and play the Jets. You know, Jets could be a player this year, right, Dolphins, they play the Dolphins, they play at the Commanders. You got, they're playing the Cowboys. The Cowboys will be fucking tough this year. You got at kids, Yeah, holdly the Bills back the Niners. 01:38:22 Speaker 1: Go back to the Cowboys real quick. Why is there so much hype revolving around the Cowboys? 01:38:25 Speaker 6: Right? 01:38:25 Speaker 8: Now it's every one of the most exciting defenses in the game. 01:38:28 Speaker 1: Every year, they have so much talent and they still came up together, So why why would we go and bet on them? Now? I love how every kid dreams of wearing the star on the side of their head. Their team has so much talent every year they can't put it together. So why in twenty twenty three am I gonna sit there and be like, Okay, Now, now the Cowboys are right. 01:38:43 Speaker 2: I mean, they have an aging offensive line, but they did get Martin back. 01:38:46 Speaker 1: They do got tyrant. They've had Martin Martin who was holding out during camp. He got six million extra dollars. Good for him, he deserves that. But also, like, dude, okay, they're so good their talent wise, if you look at them on paper, they're top five. They're probably a top five talented team in the NFL. But don't know what it is. If it's the water they're drinking down there or whatever, they just can't put it together. So if I'm just being conservative about my picks, the easiest answer here is Philadelphia. And I know it's not the sexy thing because they're obviously going to be the favorite. I love the idea of the Commanders, the new energy, the defense they have, that front four, that front seven that they have. Sam Howe big question mark, but he's got studs all around him, kind of like brock perty Head at forty nine ers when he first came in, Like that's all exciting shit. But at the end of day, dude, Jalen Hurts, his quotes are fucking unbelievable, and around him, I'm not saying Jason Kelsey came back and I'm sure it's like one of those I'm coming back for one more because I really truly believe in my heart of hearts he would have retired if they won the Super Bowl. Lane Johnson playing on a growing torn growing and a play he plays through everybody. I don't know what this is either, but I've seen a lot of things, like everybody's like, don't draft aj Brown in early rounds. 01:39:55 Speaker 2: I don't know why the fuck that is such a home run pick, Like he's not like good every year. 01:40:01 Speaker 1: Do he's got thousands? He had thousand yards every year. 01:40:03 Speaker 2: But in a PPR league if he's not getting around ten receptions every year in which he does, and it's more like the four to six, but they he does take the top off. If he doesn't get that, it's are you gonna get all that production value you for? 01:40:12 Speaker 8: Like a fur This is in the fantasy realm, he's world. 01:40:15 Speaker 1: But also like Vaybel, when you listen to rables talk about aj when you're playing and stuff like that, everyone's always saying like everyone's like, hey, we gotta diet the ball in A's hands quickly, like throw a couple of screens, co a couple of slams, a couple of a couple of things, and then you hit the home run ball with him. But I just I don't understand. I feel like Philly' is the front runner in the situation, and I don't see a reason and not stay with Philly in that type of sue. 01:40:37 Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree, Like I think Philly is the best put together team and it is their division to lose. Like I'm just like if they're if I'm gonna have like a take that feels like last year. I mean, I don't know if it was a hot take, but everybody was picking the Packers, and I'm thinking, like, hey, the Vikings could do it, that's gonna be my Vikings pick. I feel like this year is I'm gonna go with the Commanders to win the East based on schedules and everything else. And and when you were asking about the Cowboys, it's now Zeke's gone, And not that that's like that could be a bad thing, but also you're not doing this one two punch who was like coming onto the scene. He can He's kind of like a duel threat guy. You pay that with Dak you got a you know, the offensive line is aging, but you've got Cede Lamb. You got who's a Brandon Cooks. Brandon cook who can take the top off. 01:41:18 Speaker 1: Like who's literally like you look at his resume on every team he's been on quarterback. Always a thousand yards, yeah, always a thousand yeah. Always. 01:41:24 Speaker 2: They drafted that tight end in the second round, I believe. And on defense they're like they're a turnover machine. They're they have all so many pieces on defense. But if they can put it together, like Dallas can be tough. 01:41:34 Speaker 1: Yeah. 01:41:34 Speaker 2: But I'm just thinking like this could be the year Washington kind of it's gonna be a competitive division. I just think Washington might squeak it out based on how tough that schedule is on the back end, for the Eagles, and if you're not healthy playing against those teams in November December, I think it's gonna be fucking it's gonna be tough. 01:41:50 Speaker 1: I think, uh. I mean a couple of years ago when you were on the Titans, we always I went the NFC being the NFC least and like they're so strong now they're so dumba East is that one team we didn't really even talk about it, That is the Giants. They made the playoffs last year, Yeah, which is which is crazy. I don't think they're talking about a team. I don't think the Giants are that good of a team, to be honest, but they just find ways to win. They're kind of like the Titians cut like in past years where it's like yo, they're not in the best, but they just kind of find ways to win games. And uh, I don't know if they heat that up this year. I don't think they're gonna win the division, but be interesting to see, especially with all the running back stuff and Saquon taking a deal one million dollars more than this franchise tire and all that this season, Like it's gonna be fucking weird to watch these storylines unfold and all that it's gonna be cool to see. I gotta pass. 01:42:33 Speaker 2: Go ahead, Do we got an ad yep? Or it's a segment one? Or should we hit a segment more before the new AFC live? 01:42:42 Speaker 1: Yes? Segments could be quick, Canada, that was fucking long winded. I love all the the takes here with the Nebraska and the football talk. 01:44:21 Speaker 6: With the boy. 01:44:24 Speaker 1: Let's start the boys back no longer. You know, it sounds really good right now, though, Lisen, what what are we talking about? 01:44:34 Speaker 2: Starting with the AFC Now we're now we're into the AFC. Let's start with the AFC West. Let's start with the division that everybody likes to talk about. Do you want to do the three two one count down here? 01:44:44 Speaker 1: Yeah? 01:44:44 Speaker 2: I think Georgia's Chiefs Broncos Silver and Black, Las Vegas Raiders three two one Raiders. 01:44:56 Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I buddy, I hope to God, I hope the Chiefs do not win the division. But we're talking about who we think they shoulda win. No, I don't think the Chargers are gonna win. I think the Chargers are studs. But dude, it's the same thing as I was talking about betting against the Cowboys. It's like until I'm proven wrong, I'm gonna bet against them until I'm until I'm proven wrong. With the Chiefs, you gotta bet for the Chiefs, like it's just one of It's just one of those deals. They're so fucking good. They won a super Bowl last year, and it's like, do they have a hangover. It's like, well, obviously not. They've been a super Bowl like four last five years. So they're just gonna keep doing it. Travis Kelson needs one more one thousand yard season to become like the goat to thousand yard seasons, Like he's got something to play for. Patrick Mahomes is now he's chasing Brady. He's gonna keep doing Patrick Mahomes things. And then the mainstream bullshit media keeps coming up with ways to be like the Chiefs are gonna be as good this year. Hey, the wide receiver corps is aren't this good this year? Their defense gives them deep balls all the time, constantly giving these chiefs the delusion to find an ability to put a ship on their shoulder. And it's like, until we have the opportunity to watch them fail, we just got to keep It's like it's like Tom Brady just gotta keep betting on them. I want the Raiders to win the division. It was my choice and I was fucking God the Raiders would be winning this division. But it's it's just I think the Raiders get second and they get say that if they do, that's a huge win for the Raiders because that's a hard fucking division. The Broncos, I think any stock you can buy in them, you need to sell that ship immediately. That's they're gonna be so fucking garbage this year. They're gonna be better their garbage, Dude, they're gonna be garbage. Sean Payton, I think he's a phenomenal head. Coach Russ is cooked. The danger which is dead. It's fun, That's not it, brother, They're not going to do it. I think I think I think Sean Payton's amazing. 01:46:45 Speaker 2: I think the mainstream media is dialed in on the Chiefs losing this year. I don't think they'll win the division, you know, I think the rain is over now. They might get into the playoffs, but they're not gonna win the division. I think this is the year where the Chiefs kingdom falls. And I believe in the Raiders. I believe in Jimmy g The Boys got Josh Jacobs back, and you got to think, right now, they don't have Chris Jones in that building in Kansas City, and then without Chris Jones number one, they're not the greatest defense anyways. But then without Chris Jones, they're abysmal on defense. They need to have Chris Jones. But if they go into the year with not having him, like, it's just gonna make it that much it's gonna be that much more of a whole. And yeah, they are thinner at receiver in years past. And I do think this is the time where all the hot dogging out there by Patrick Mahomes and catches up to him more turnovers. 01:47:38 Speaker 1: Why do you think that? I just that's what I think, Douck. It's so hard to have these covers because I love you. I know you do. I know you do. 01:47:46 Speaker 2: Listen, I listen. I'm I can stand. I can stand on this all right, stand on, take care of myself out there. 01:47:51 Speaker 1: Look, I'm not worried about fans coming at you, but I sometimes I'm worried, like, how are you making decisions? Well, no, you're obviously that that. I feel like that decision you just made, right there is a decision you're making because we're boys with the Raiders, and you played for the Raiders and you want them to be successful, and not like looking at it from like a logical like, look what's happened with the Chiefs the last five years and how Patrick Mahomes has literally showed in zero percent zero percent should anything of slowing down only spending up. 01:48:18 Speaker 8: That's fair, that's fair. I mean they won the Super Bowl, that's fair. 01:48:20 Speaker 1: Yeah. I just think like this is this will be the time you're doing the thing where your bodys want to buy high. Next thing you to buy high. You buy high. 01:48:27 Speaker 2: No, now that the market's about to get hit, it's about to correct, and I think the Raiders is gonna be. 01:48:32 Speaker 1: The confidence in the way you're sitting too. It makes it a whole lot cooler. I get it. I'm word, they're gonna have to disagree. I hope you're right. I hope you are because I want the Raiders to win. 01:48:40 Speaker 2: Let's not forget last year. I only missed on two division winners. Let's not forget. 01:48:44 Speaker 1: I think you've missed them these two. I do all. 01:48:49 Speaker 2: I also think the Chargers are gonna be good. I think that's gonna be It's gonna be an exciting division. Even the Broncos. I don't think you can sleep on them. They have their healthy and nowt receiver with Judy he because he got injured year. But Russ, you know, Russ is not it. So the chef have back on. Let that man get back in the Lets that man get back in the. 01:49:08 Speaker 1: K Russ has never been the best quarterback when he has to sit in the pocket. It's been his mobility that shows that gets him out of those things. That really cool play had against the Cardinals back in the day, where like Chandler Jones, he made them him move and then threw it to Baldwin. 01:49:25 Speaker 2: Now Sean paynsit next to him, yeh, Sean Payson next to him. Brother the pocket passing Russell he does not. He does not do well just singing the pocket. And he's now that age you're talking about, Patrick Mahomes is gonna have. He's already shown the nature. He's not as mobile as it used to be. 01:49:39 Speaker 1: I think if the wrongs are good, it's because it's early and it fizzles out quickly. 01:49:44 Speaker 8: I'm not saying that Patrick, by the way, he's getting old. 01:49:46 Speaker 2: I'm just saying all that the risks he takes out there, with the way he throws the football everywhere last minute, makes something out of nothing. 01:49:53 Speaker 1: I think that's where it catches up. 01:49:54 Speaker 2: Similar to when you guys beat him a few years ago when the Chiefs started off rough. 01:49:59 Speaker 1: Honestly, we had a lot of a lot of turnovers and anything like that. 01:50:03 Speaker 2: I think it's gonna be that way, you know what I mean, Like a lot of those situations didn't goes way. Had a few turnovers against the Titans. It's the kind of like, oh, all these chances he does take is now you know, it's not working out. The ball's not bouncing the way that it usually does when it favors the Chiefs. I think it's now gonna bounce the other way. That's all I'm saying. I'm not saying, like you know, they're over the hill and everything like that. I'm just saying all of the all of that risk Mahomes takes trying to get out of bad situations. I think this is the year where it catches up to him. Not that I'll stop playing that way, that's what makes him great. But I think the ball will bounce the other way. That's why. That's why I had that take. Outside of wanting to just troll the fucking. 01:50:44 Speaker 1: Chiefs, King, let's skip this next one. 01:50:46 Speaker 2: AFC South, we can't. We gotta live in it, we gotta lean into it. This is the AFC South, Brother, all right, count us down three two to one, three two one. 01:50:55 Speaker 1: Tigres Tennessee Titans are gonna win this fucking division. Dude, this is the year they fucking come back. You can't. How many years do you have the most injuries? How many years? 01:51:05 Speaker 8: Sell me? Sell me on the Titans. 01:51:08 Speaker 2: I'll say the Titans, y'all fucking say give me two seconds, Okay. The reason I think the Jacksonville Jaguars are gonna win this year, And listen, I'm pulling for the boys in two tone blue. It does pay me. I know Jackson's got a smile. It hurts the boys, and listen, I love I'm rooting for Tennessee every week, no matter what. 01:51:23 Speaker 1: That's the fucking boys. 01:51:25 Speaker 2: But as far as having not leading with my heart on absolutely every division, I think this is where I'm going to take the Jacksonville Jaguars. 01:51:33 Speaker 1: So wild that you've led with your heart in two different divisions, but the one, this one, you don't I know. 01:51:38 Speaker 2: I know, well last year I didn't pick Washington. Last year I didn't pick Washington. I picked the Eagles. I picked the Titans. 01:51:42 Speaker 1: Last year. You know what I mean? This is the one. 01:51:45 Speaker 2: And I think the way Jacksonville ended, I think Trevor Lawrence like he's gonna continue to be a you know, cement himself as one of the quarterbacks in the league. And I think with that division two man culture question mark, I don't know how Anythingy Richards is gonna do. They do have a good team, but do they have enough. There's a lot of drama with Jonathan Taylor. I think Houston Texas they've been in such a rebuild year at no one's even talking about them. However, I do like the Miko Ryans, he's at the Helm as a head coach. He I think he's gonna build something there. But nobody's even worried about Houston. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. 01:52:18 Speaker 6: I just don't. 01:52:20 Speaker 8: Yeah, it's kind of like it doesn't matter. 01:52:21 Speaker 2: And then it comes down to the Titans, and you know, I you know, to the boy, you're not there. I think they have a big question mark on that offensive line. I think their defense is gonna be fucking good. I think they're gonna have to figure out ways to turn the ball over to allow the Titans to do what the Titans do, and that's win, winning the trenches, win with the run game. But I think there's a question mark on the old line because guys like you, Ben Jones, you guys are no longer there and they're new they haven't played a lot together. So that's honestly, that's that's why I'm giving it to Jacksonville because I think like they're just gonna build off last year and they got a lot of energy going into this year. Peterson's a coach that they won a Super Bowl, Likeyl Lawrence has that think they got it going right now. 01:53:01 Speaker 1: Jacksonville. Jacksonville's got every reason. Jacksonville has every reason to believe that they are gonna be the winners of the AFC South. Here's where I think the Tennessee Titans take it. I think DeAndre Hopkins going to the Tennessee Titans is not great is fantastic because not because DeAndre Hopkins is going to be the greatest wide receiver all time, but he's making that core wide receiver group. Kyle Phillips obviously he's done with an injury. I think it's an MCL he has going on right now. That's he's that's that's fixable. He's gonna be all right, whether it's the week one or later. I think Traylon Burks the LCL injury, that's not a big deal. Of those guys are gonna come back. They're gonna do well. That makes it. I think Treylon I think that's the biggest reason why DeAndre is there, is to help Trelan not shoulder the burden of being wide receiver one right now, that's gonna be a massive deal. Our defense is so fucking good. They can play with anybody. They can hold these guys with the Calvin Ridley and Trevor Lawrence coming in. Trevor Lewenz is coming to his own. He's a fantastic quarterback. They're they're good for they're a good ball club. But they were a good fucking ball club in twenty sixteen when they were Saxonville. Look what happened. They got swept by US twice. Okay, I'm saying, obviously, you're gonna look at this and be like Jacksonvill Jaguars are gonna win the AFC South. I think that Tesnae Titans have the better head coach. I think the Tessay Titans do have question marks in the offensive line, but you have one of the greatest running backs of all time in the backfield who still has it and they're gonna give him the ball enough time to do it. I think that Spears kid that they brought from Tulane is a incredible change of pace back. You're gonna be able to put him out in the slot. Now, you're gonna be able to take advantage of defenses that want to stay in base. You're gonna take advantage of those types of situations. A new OC. I think Tim Kelly is a fucking stud, no disrespect to Todd. I think he's a great guy. He just wasn't the man for the job. Tim Kelly is a dude that is. It's a great fucking point because he watches he watches ball so much. He knows the game. He was a the main reason why Deshaun Watson was so successful. When they're at Houston implementing RPOs, I think you're gonna see a lot more RPOs from MISSSSE Titans going into this season. It's gonna be difficult and I might be leading with my heart a little bit in this one that I just I just came to will will on. But I do believe the Titans if they can stay healthy, which recent history shows they cannot. But how many years can you be that unhealthy? Right? Cut the injuries down in half. Cut the guys you get injured. Yeah, cut the guys that get injured. Get him the fuck out of there. And I think the Titans. I think the Titans whin the st South. I think they have absolutely have a shot to win it. 01:55:36 Speaker 2: Those are yeah, yeah, man, I hope they fucking I. 01:55:40 Speaker 1: Hope they win. I hope they win the whole fucking thing. 01:55:42 Speaker 2: You're right, man, Like Harold's healthy again, Like they're gonna have a squad. I just think they might be battling for nine to ten wins. And I think Jacksonville might just edge them out with win. That's very possible happen to are Titans could still be an extra team in the playoffs. And I also like they brought an old boy from San fran That linebacker als. 01:56:00 Speaker 1: Here, he's he's also Jack Gibbons. Yes, that's yes. 01:56:04 Speaker 8: I wanted to I wanted to shout out the boy, Jack Gibbons. 01:56:08 Speaker 1: Out the white linebacker. Dude, dude. Last year Jack Gibbons was cut exactly Bro. They literally said, hey, we don't have a place for you on practice squad. We do not have a place for you to be on our practice squad. Jack, you're out sixteen practice squad. Chands Campbell, six round draft, six round draft pick from Ole Miss. He tears his a cl I think it was and because of that they had to bring Jack back. Jack Gibbons, who they call doctor Gibbey play at the University of Minnesota, is a dude that knows he's gonna get everybody in the same pace. He's gonna have the green dot. He is essentially Will Compton, Jack Gibbons second coming of Will Compton. He really fires me up. The lily would be it's fucking awesome to see, awesome to see. 01:56:52 Speaker 8: And with with the al al sha here. 01:56:54 Speaker 1: Yeah, stud, he heard he's ball in the Fred. 01:56:57 Speaker 2: When Fred or green Law would go down last year, he'd come in like he's a fucking good player and there's a lot of good reviews coming out of him. I think he is as advertised, he's just now getting a shot as a starter in the league. I'm fired up for him. And then you got doctor Gibbey like it, truly it fires me up. Sham a lit mess is like, dude, I'm so happy for you. Fuck them all, keep proving them all wrong. And I hope he does because he came in last year and some some critical moments when guys would go down and he's out there being a little tackling machine. 01:57:22 Speaker 1: Dude. Also, dude, Christian Fulton, he's coming. He had a couple of injuries last year. He's in a contract to year. This year's Stircond round pick. I think this is year four. Right bired hooker was hurt last year. That kind of fucked round Byed they tried to fuck Byed this year. Now he's got that delusional chip on his shoulder. Now, Harold's bad. Fuck them all, Harold. You know Harold what Harrold wants. Harold wants Sacks. Yeah, he wants me, That's all he fucking wants. 01:57:43 Speaker 2: And he's gonna get to you because he's gonna get the Jeff Simmons is gonna get double teamed to every front Au Tree and Jeff Simmons. 01:57:49 Speaker 1: Do you say all the things you want about Jef Simmons in the locker room, but who says things? Don't worry about that. Jeff Simmons is one of those dudes. Dude, you pay him money. He's still gonna work fucking hard. He's still gonna get after it. The dude has it, he has it. He's really the most underrated defensive lineman probably in the league. 01:58:04 Speaker 2: Wasn't Jeff the number two d tackle on the NFL's top one hundred, only behind Aaron Donald? I think, so, I mean Jeff's he's him? Yeah, he really is. They're gonna have a squad. 01:58:14 Speaker 1: Yeah, they got to stay healthy and take care of the football and just play that boring ass. Don't get any ratings ugly win football, and you do that, manage the game. 01:58:29 Speaker 8: Brother, perfect speech is for coach Brames. We can't just show up. 01:58:34 Speaker 1: We're not good We're not good enough. They're not good enough. Is to show up. But they're a better coach team. They're a better fundamental team and. 01:58:43 Speaker 8: I'm not you know, man, They got to move the line of scrimmage. 01:58:45 Speaker 1: That's the biggest question mark. Get the end. 01:58:47 Speaker 2: Now, granted, he's he's he's he's obviously proving the older model wrong. Right for the older running back. He's somebody who gets better with a He's like, that's that's what he told us. He's like, he's the one player in the second contract they continue to have, like what a two thousand yard season. 01:59:03 Speaker 1: Or equal or more value? Yeah, equal or more value. That is right. 01:59:07 Speaker 2: But for d Hand to get rolling, you got to be able to move the line of scrimmage little bit four to fifth step. 01:59:11 Speaker 1: If you if you have Derek trying to make cuts in the backfield, you're going to get fucked. You have to be able to play sound ball. But I think that's easier if you start running more gap scheme type stuff. More you know, deuces and trays and back blocks and hinges and a pulling guard. Then doing outside zone because thatside zone can get really fucking hairy when you're sprinting on landmarks. When you sprint on landmarks, whiffs happen a lot more often. Backside cut offs a lot more difficult. You need that hit mobility to kind of like move and bend and do there's all those I don't know how these guys are Andre Dillard, I don't know his mobility and however he is, how he's able to move but get into a pinch. Derek Shoony can be successful in the inside zones on the gap scheme type plays, and those are more of your full proof. You have a shaky offensive line, you can do that, and you can also want a shiload of RPO out of gap scheme and zone reads and out an inside zone. You can run a shitload out of that. You can throw it out to the slot, you can run screens off of it. You can have that slant going over the middle, you can run it off that backside ladbacker. You can run off the enement aunt of scrimmage like. There's a lot of things you can do to kind of shore up a questionable offensive line, so they had the coaches to do that too. Tim Tim has that brain because if you look at Houston, the track word of the Houston Texans when Shaun Watson was there, the only good offensive line and they really had was Lamard Tunsil and Lamora tuns didn't really start coming along till his third or fourth year. I think at that time maybe Tim was on his way out or whatever like that's when things were really starting to happen with the Shawn leaving and all this stuff, and a lot of massage therapy things started coming out. That's but you you can see with a inexperienced offensive line that Shawn had time roll out, move the pocket type stuff that you're gonna be able to do with DeAndre Hopkins and the Traylon Burkes and Kyle Phillips who can route cats up on one on one situations and not exposed an inexperience office A line, not saying they're bad, just saying they're an inexperience office A line. They've got it. I've I've literally not only think they got I think I've successfully talked myself into truly believing my pick. I believe myself. 02:01:14 Speaker 7: You know what times are gonna win the Super Bowl at proper whiles hitting Taylor? 02:01:17 Speaker 1: Yeah, fuck, I forgot about that. Oh that the one of them boys. 02:01:22 Speaker 2: Up to the AFC Norths. You got to Steelers, Browns, Ravens and Bengals. This God, dude, I'm fucking love dude. We're back. We are back, Like I mean, Steelers, Browns, Ravens, Bengals. You can almost you can almost like take your pick, right. I think they're all gonna be solid. I think every team in the NFL is great this year. 02:01:41 Speaker 1: No, dude, it is the best about the beginning of the season. How fucking great a FeelA is that? Like doesn't matter who you're a fan of or what the media SAIDs like week one, all the opportunity, all thoughts. Oh no, what's gonna fucking happen? God damn, this is so exciting. 02:01:56 Speaker 7: Tell us what's gonna happen on the three two one Bengals? 02:02:02 Speaker 1: It's not that hard, brother, I don't think so either. 02:02:04 Speaker 8: Joe Burrows, he's elite. 02:02:06 Speaker 1: You know, he's still on his old Ravens, Steelers, Browns. You're going Bengals, Ravens, Steelers, Browns in that order. I know what you're thinking to your thinking about switching up Browns and Steelers. 02:02:18 Speaker 2: If anything right, if anything, yeah, I think Browns could be surprising. But until anything happens, it's like one of those things. 02:02:27 Speaker 1: Do you think that they could be surprising? You never know. I like steel This has been the theme of this entire conversation. Prove me wrong and then I'll stand wrong and bet on you next year. Like the Browns have showed me absolutely nothing for me to have anything to believe in. They have a fucking studding Miles Garrett after that, You're right, though, it's where people go to die. It's where people go to die. And but people said that about the Bills five years ago. Look at him now, so they they it's not Browns aren't dead forever. They're just dead right now. Bengals. 02:02:52 Speaker 8: People have said that about the Browns forever, and that's been the case. 02:02:56 Speaker 1: Joe Thomason died there. I mean, Joe Thomas got hot. He came out of there, he came out of the fire like a phoenix. But this is the last record that they had there. I don't think he ever had a winning season. 02:03:06 Speaker 2: I feel like he had his career and died. He was born there and died there. 02:03:10 Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, that's a good thing about dying it being born in a bad franchise. Like you're just like, this is the norm. I think the Steelers though, if you're gonna pick a sneaky like uh could possibly win it in here. It's in the NFC North. It's the Steelers, Dude. Tomlin is one of the best coaches in the NFL. 02:03:26 Speaker 8: Every year is good. 02:03:28 Speaker 1: But who's the quarterback? Yeah, George Pickens? And then who's who's the quarterback is? Dude? 02:03:35 Speaker 2: I get that. 02:03:35 Speaker 1: Yeah, So I'm glad you said that because I get really confused to on the quarterback wide receiver. 02:03:40 Speaker 2: Their last names are so similar Pickett. I'm fired up to see him and and yeah, Tomlin man, but. 02:03:46 Speaker 1: Love Jersey Jerry, dude. I the Steelers don't have it this year. They they they're gonna be close, but it's not gonna happen. The Ravens I think of battle. 02:03:55 Speaker 2: Yeah, because I like the Ravens, like what they're more added Lamar's back. 02:04:00 Speaker 1: I think the Ravens are more shirt than trousers. Brother, Yeah, they fucking look great, but they don't got no balls on them. They like Kean Smith. You got you got players on defense? 02:04:11 Speaker 6: Man. 02:04:11 Speaker 1: Yeah, but dude, got some cats. Man, you got some cats. 02:04:15 Speaker 7: Oh? 02:04:15 Speaker 1: OBJ, Come on now, dude, I love Obj, same draft class, Obj. He hasn't played football the year. There's only been a one football player I've ever seen to get a year off and be better, and that's Trent Williams. So Jerry's out, dude. It's just like Gino Smith. I'm gonna have to see a couple games. 02:04:30 Speaker 2: Give me two games, give me two games on he doesn't have to. 02:04:34 Speaker 1: I'll tell you exactly. 02:04:35 Speaker 2: I feel you don't have to be wide receiver one. That's their uh what draft pick? 02:04:38 Speaker 1: Right? Yes? They flowers, they flowers year yeah man, University of Minnesota. 02:04:45 Speaker 8: Guy, they got some players. 02:04:48 Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm excited, but you're right, Pittsburgh could be sneaky. Uh, Joe Burrow those who I'm where I'm putting my money. You gotta put your money on Joe Burrow and put my money out of Joe Burrow to win that division. 02:04:58 Speaker 1: This one's gonna this is the hardest one. This is the last one. Correct is where? Fuck me? Sho? We counted downe go pee go pete. Brother? What I think we still got to do all our segments. Right, We're a two hour podcast right now, all right, it's our show. 02:05:21 Speaker 2: We want no fucking yeah, I got who I'm gonna do. God, I know how I definitely don't got Patriots. 02:05:28 Speaker 7: Yeah, counted down JP three two one. 02:05:35 Speaker 1: Bills And that pisses me off that we both picked the Bills. I wanted to pick the Jets. I want to go so badly picked the Jets. Aaron Rodgers is he's winning like Kirk Cousins one and quarterback dude, he's becoming more likable because of the show Whichack, what's the show we watched in Las Vegas? Oh, Hard Hard Knocks first episode I ever watched my life. Jack and I were like two high little bunnies. I'll go Jets, Jets. I need that. 02:05:58 Speaker 8: Yeah, you go Bills, I'll go Jets. 02:06:00 Speaker 1: All right. Ah, well, I'm the one making the argument that we no. Okay, that's fine. I want to I want to pick the Jets so badly, but I just I just don't want to fall into the trap of like shiny new toy. At the end of the day, Roger, he's a fucking stud still an agent, He's an aging quarterback. 02:06:15 Speaker 8: But he's I think he's gonna light it up. 02:06:17 Speaker 6: Man. 02:06:18 Speaker 1: Wilson's so fucking good. Wilson c j oh the Bills. Stefan digg On is his own, his own fucking weapon. 02:06:28 Speaker 8: Wilson's looking at it. Tay Adams here. 02:06:32 Speaker 1: As a It was the second year he was Rookie of the Year last year. Yeah, he could be looking at a sophomore slump too. 02:06:38 Speaker 8: Yeah, but I'm talking about you're talking about a rod dealing in the ball. 02:06:41 Speaker 1: You ain't lying, and they got j you know, you know. 02:06:48 Speaker 2: He's gonna be the cat that's like you know, obviously the page that Aaron was on with a cigarettes might be a run right here. But I'm gonna I'm gonna smoke one out to you in the head coach Salah. Yeah, he dog. He's always everybody. All the players that have spoken about him, it's always high man. 02:07:08 Speaker 8: They love him. He's a defensive minded guy to gorgeous man. 02:07:15 Speaker 1: Bald headed guy too. You don't get that a lot, dude. You don't always say gorgeous man when bald heads are involved. But he's got a phenomenally shit But you look at in trust. You know what I mean, yeah, lead the way, go ahead, brother. 02:07:25 Speaker 2: But you let a rod and uh, you let a Rod in them handle the offense, like I think the boys will be fucking good. 02:07:31 Speaker 1: And who's the old Gardner, who's the OC? Who's the OC? That was the head coach of Nathaniel Hackett catching some fucking strays from Sean Payton and then all of a sudden. 02:07:40 Speaker 8: It's nice, Shure, that's some good drama. 02:07:41 Speaker 1: I love some good drama. But it's like he's got a chip on his shoulder out Yeah, dude, fuck it, I'm going jets as well. I'm going jets as well. And I hated that I said it out loud. Actually I actually feel fucked up about it. But dude, the bills aren't good. But like you hear the turmoil about Diggs and he's not happy, and then Josh you comes on acts like it's nothing. Josh Allen's phenomenal, He's a he's a generational talent. Holy fuck? Is he good? Jack milk? Brother? What's that mil milk on the daily? Because but dude, Rogers, I don't think Rogers had this much talent around him ever. Williams on defense, they got, they got fucking. 02:08:20 Speaker 2: Cats, dude, and who don't Doc linebackers said, who's the Who's. 02:08:25 Speaker 1: The defensive end that went to was at the Bengals and he got signs to Jets and he tores Achilles last year before the season. That's such a hard google for you, Jack, I'm so sorry, but like. 02:08:36 Speaker 8: Jets torn a c O. 02:08:39 Speaker 1: Yes, Jason the boy c Jays Lawton. Dude, Carl Lawson is guaranteed sneaky comeback player of the Year. Brother. He is so fucking deadly with his single arm. Dude, he's like short too. He's like, I don't think he's even six foot I I really dog, He's like a Elvis Doomerville type. We played him when he was in the Bengals. It was like a second year and I was watching on film. I was like, Yo, why is this little dude pushing dudes back? He has the greatest inside long arm that just puts people and fucking look at him. 02:09:18 Speaker 7: You get a boy Carl on the defensive line, you know you're about to be in trouble. 02:09:21 Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, oh ye, moving dude, watch that ass. Bro. 02:09:24 Speaker 8: We're in Black Forces. You see somebody with them on you know that. 02:09:28 Speaker 1: But dude, I'm saying this guy, we all know who's you know when comeback player of the Year this year. There's there's no question DeMar Hamlin is going to win it, no fucking question about that. Like he always to do his step on the field and he's won it, kind of like Alex with a few years ago. 02:09:43 Speaker 2: But but also the Bills they've lost in the big games, right, but we're still talking about Josh Allen Diggs. They got, They're still gonna be the fucking Bills. I think they're gonna be a great team. They were great all the way up until that DeMar Hamlin situation last year. I'm talking like the premier team in the league. They're throwing, they're putting up points on absolutely everybody. 02:10:06 Speaker 1: There's still that team. 02:10:07 Speaker 2: It's just they have a taste in their mouth because they've lost in the playoffs a. 02:10:11 Speaker 1: Year after year. There's a stigma about that. 02:10:13 Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like, when are they gonna get over the hump? I saw somebody talking about it. I hate that I'm not remembering, but somebody's like, well, at least they're on they're on the hill. When are they gonna get over the hill. A lot of people are trying to climb the hill, but they've never really fell off the hill. It's just making that extra jump to win the big game, that AFC championship game, that divisional round, whatever the case may be. But the Bills are fucking good if they don't have that Damar Hamlin situation. Granted, the Bengals came out swinging on them. I do think they lose, but however, there's not all that drama surrounding them going into December football, I see. 02:10:45 Speaker 1: I disagree with that statement. I feel like the Damar Hamlin thing, if anything is like that storyline, like do it for Damar. I know, I'm just and it's like and it wasn't like somebody got to the Bills are just Dolph Dolphins. I'm a good division. That's a good fucking division. Do the Dolphins TOA He's in a he's in a year learning how to fall and ship like that, Like he's got he's got to go through a whole what's at him right there? That was a little weird, but he's got to go through like all that learning how to fall ship. Jalen Waddle, fucking Tyreek Hill. They've got fucking studs. They got a good defense too, that that noisy kid who's up in the middle. What's that kid's name? Wind to Clemson Christian Wilkins. We also didn't even talk about Dalvin Cook on the Jets, right, I didn't even I actually didn't even think about that bro, Like I am firmly cemented on Jets. Now. I feel bad though, because legit like the Bills really don't deserve the kind of disrespect. And that's what's hard. They're just in that division now, that's kind of like they're a little key like the AFC West. Yeah, God damn are they? Should we do an ad before we do tier talk. 02:11:58 Speaker 6: We've done all the cool sponsored the ads that run with them. 02:12:03 Speaker 1: Let's let's pivot. Let's go back to college football. Plaichreck will be cool. 02:12:06 Speaker 6: Yeah, we're cool. 02:12:07 Speaker 1: Good of course, Yeah, because I do. I could see where tactically coming back after being gone for a month, seeing you and then spouting off that quickly that could have been. That's I can see where I navigated that incorrect. 02:12:19 Speaker 6: Where we're good for sure. 02:12:20 Speaker 1: All Right, dude, I'm telling you, in the next three years, it's going to be no longer. There's gonna be no n C A and it's going to be the Big ten. It's gonna be the SEC, and everybody else is going to be just kind of roaming there, like with without a home. 02:12:34 Speaker 6: Actually saw who. 02:12:35 Speaker 1: The bag twelve is leaving is in Texas going to SEC. Texas is going like the Big twelve is just Colorado's. 02:12:41 Speaker 6: Going five though, and explained it. I watched this video last night. It was like five minutes. I'll send it to you all. It's a pretty good idea on how to get the NCAA. 02:12:50 Speaker 1: Back on track, back on track. 02:12:52 Speaker 6: And then yeah, they get to keep incentators going to two like mega conferences. He keeps the Power five and it's like, I'll just it to you because the guy goes on forever. 02:13:03 Speaker 1: Yeah, send it to me. But I really don't think it's a bad idea to go to SEC and BA ten and like the AFC and NFC and then knocking those divisions like Bay ten North, Bay ten South, by ten East, B ten West and having your divisions there and kind of scheduling like the NFL. 02:13:18 Speaker 7: So I think what's tough is the number one hurdle they're facing is there's so many other sports in just football, So are you really going to pay for your men's soccer team to go travel five times a year to across the country to go play. Are you going to fly your whole entire track team out a bunch of times? That's like the logistics they got to get through all the others that. 02:13:41 Speaker 1: I really didn't even think about it all. But I know this is like an elitiest type of vibe here. But football is kind of keying in the college in college sports landscape. 02:13:54 Speaker 7: Right for sure, But only like twenty five now with nil is different. But before only like twenty five or twenty three, athletic departments are profitable. 02:14:03 Speaker 1: Yeah, before the nil stuff, it was like five. No, no, no, no. 02:14:06 Speaker 7: Before the Nile it was like in that twenty to twenty five ring. 02:14:09 Speaker 1: Oh, I thought it was like five. Like Texas was one, Ohio State was one, Michigan was one, Alabama was one, and like there's like one other. 02:14:15 Speaker 8: Yeah, but you did the Whiskey one. 02:14:19 Speaker 1: No, I didn't do the Whiskey one. Talk most exciting teams out a Week one. 02:14:24 Speaker 2: We are about to uh dive into our Tier Talk segment. One who didn't watch them? You go don't even give them a minute? All right, let's take a moment, boys, I just gotta scroll the do. 02:15:57 Speaker 8: You know yours? 02:15:58 Speaker 1: JP? How do you want us to do it? To the bus? Sure? All right, my tier talk, it's gonna be short and sweet. Boys. Obviously we had the conversation. I wasn't able to watch college football this past weekend because Canada doesn't believe in coage football. My Tier three is gonna go to f SU versus LSU. Obviously, LSU having the hype they did being down there for the spring gaming. Really during the kool aid you see that, you think they're gonna be one of those teams that's like, oh, this is one of the teams to beat this year. However, are they very well still could be that? But FSU going in dominating the way they did that. I saw one clip of the running back hitting a play to the right side and then a dB coming down. You think of LSU as like a hard hitting defense, and it just was fucking embarrassing to see that. 02:16:42 Speaker 7: What's up that that guy was on South Carolina's team last year? 02:16:47 Speaker 2: I saw your face and I was like, I thought, I thought I fucked up and said I'm wrong. 02:16:51 Speaker 1: So that's my Tier three. My Tier two is gonna go to Oregon because that Duck Organ Ducks mascot and all the games he's receiving in twenty twenty three to have that many push ups in a day is just is ridiculous. Gotta get him on push up Tuesday. 02:17:11 Speaker 7: Day. 02:17:12 Speaker 1: So that is uh. I love that. And then obviously what all of the mainstream media is going to be talking about for the rest of the week until Saturday comes when Nebraska takes on the Colorado Buffs is Colorado. I mean they deserved it. There was a team in the top twenty five that they played against. After Colorado hasn't won one game. They won one game last year they played. You see you see all of the alumni coming out of fucking the woodworks dude, Daniel Munyard, David Baktiari Brandon Shop. Everybody's like, all of a sudden, a proud Buffalo guy or a prout Colorado Buffalo guy. And that's just fucking hilarious to me. But Colorado is the most high school coming out. What's your one? They took a phase out of the Lawam book. Well they were, They weren't critical like I was. I I was critical from an educational standpoint. You know, it's different, very different. 02:18:03 Speaker 9: Art the one word boys exciting, solid, exhilarating, awesome, cool, a lot of positivity. 02:18:20 Speaker 1: Nice. My Tier three is going to go to Notre Dame. 02:18:29 Speaker 8: I'm picking Notre Dame. 02:18:30 Speaker 2: Now, look, I know they haven't beat They beat Navy and they beat Tennessee State. However, I feel like there's this this air right of them outscoring their opponents. What ninety eight to six in the first two games Notre Dame last year, and I'm I'm I'm dropping the ball head coach est coach chest coach Marcus Freeman, him coming with all the expectation he had in year one and playing like close games against teams that shouldn't have close games. Right, It's fun to see Notre Dame come out and absolutely treat bad teams like bad teams. 02:19:04 Speaker 8: I think they got something going with that OC. 02:19:08 Speaker 9: With that that's a new guy. 02:19:10 Speaker 1: I know, but who is it? 02:19:14 Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's you gotta imagine it's there's a lot of similarities. Yeah, yeah, but either way, either way, I I'm fired up for Notre Dame. I hope they are a team this year for real, because they always have like those fun schedules where they're playing ranked Yeah, I know, like it seems like one of those years again. 02:19:30 Speaker 8: They're treating bad teams like bad teams. 02:19:31 Speaker 2: Hopefully all them big games like they mean a lot more because they're not not just because they're playing these close games against teams that shouldn't be close games, but because it seems like a Notre Dame team that we want to see out there on Saturdays. My Tier two is going to go to this is tough. Out of these two teams, I'm gonna go with USC. Caleb Williams two hundred and fifty yards in the first quarter in the first quarter, is that real? 02:20:00 Speaker 8: Yeah, that's real, that's real. 02:20:02 Speaker 2: Fifty and the thross dog I mean, talk about Mahomes like he's out there making yeah plays, He's out there. 02:20:10 Speaker 1: He's in all the news. 02:20:11 Speaker 2: Yeah, like I hope USC is, you know, not back like they were last year, but drop drop at the end of the year in the PAC twelfth title, but all the way fucking back, Like I hope they put up games like that all year long. I mean they basically benched him in the second half. Yeah, they won like sixty something the. 02:20:26 Speaker 1: Three I believe. 02:20:28 Speaker 2: But I'm gonna go with USC because them highlights by Caleb Williams two hundred fifty yards and one quarter Tier two USC. My Tier one is gonna go to Florida State. I think LSU, obviously for good reason, had a lot of hype coming into this year. 02:20:42 Speaker 8: The number what were they number two? 02:20:44 Speaker 1: Five? 02:20:45 Speaker 2: LSU was five. Yeah, LSU top five team, they were rated five. But there's a lot of promise going in with with with Brian Kelly's second year and some of the growth they have because they had like a younger team last year. They kind of came on late in the year to where you thought LSU was gonna be them and the Florida State coming to. 02:21:04 Speaker 8: Death Valley and win like that. 02:21:07 Speaker 2: That quarterback last name, uh Travis, Yeah, did I mess something up? 02:21:11 Speaker 1: JP? On the game was that neutral site. I hate that. 02:21:15 Speaker 2: I'm always like at whatever the team is at Orlando, but uh, Travis coming in and balling like putting on a show. I think Florida State is a fucking tough team. Have you got the old seminals back? 02:21:25 Speaker 1: Baby? Yeah? 02:21:27 Speaker 2: They run the football well, they're they're physical, they're fun to watch. But that's my Tier one Florida State, Tier two USC, Tier three Notre Dame, strong. 02:21:45 Speaker 1: Football, dominant, solid, informative. 02:21:55 Speaker 2: You want it, Mitch, Yeah, Like, I know they're beating nobodies, but but it's fun to see them, like, you know, treat them like nobody's like, Okay, this is gonna be a team that's trying to like run through everybody, you know what I mean? Far as you up versus like Ohio State who plays against Indiana and you, yeah, you win by twenty fucking points, Like that was insane? 02:22:16 Speaker 1: No, I hear you. 02:22:21 Speaker 5: I would love to win honorable mention for the back of the bus is Oregon just because they put. 02:22:27 Speaker 1: Up eighty one points. I respect that unreal. 02:22:29 Speaker 3: Uh. 02:22:29 Speaker 1: Tier three USC. 02:22:31 Speaker 5: They scored fifty six points in the first game in sixty six points in their second game in Kayleb Williams is unreal and that freshman's Zachariah like Patterson or something. Number one, he's electric. He's gonna be fun to watch. Florida State Tier two they just played bully ball essentially against. 02:22:48 Speaker 8: All's sahah, which was it was wold to. 02:22:50 Speaker 5: See crazy to see uh. And then Tier one Colorado just because I I guess they shocked everybody, but like gotta think it's Dion and like they have the number one recruit from two years ago, Travis Hunter, who's unreal, and then Shador doing his thing, and just so many transfers like you. It kind of like was on the wall. We just didn't want to see it. So that is the back of the bus to your top. 02:23:16 Speaker 1: Colorado. That is they that is exciting. God damn it. 02:23:19 Speaker 2: Let's fucking go boys, really see if they're really that team come this week, that come this Saturday, Nebraska's gonna be a test. 02:23:28 Speaker 1: That's the next segment that they will fail Colorado. 02:23:35 Speaker 2: If Colorado wants to jump into those rankings for real, then they'll they'll beat it. They'll be there'll be a team like Nebraska should talk about shitty this week shut cedious moment of the weeds. Momber of the Week brought to us by Dude Wipes. Still using toilet paper roasts, drop the TP, Drop the TP and get some wet extra large flushable wipes that clears instead of smears. You want that win injected into the locker room. Winning a close game injected into the state. The state craves it. Dude, We just need you, just need a little bit of that momentum because now you're looking at a tough Colorado game. But it's like you know, for me selfishly four and O going into that bust and bullet's like the. 02:24:46 Speaker 1: Juice dog that would have been something juice still, could you? 02:24:50 Speaker 2: I mean we take our business with Yeah, I know, Thursday games don't count to your to your. 02:24:56 Speaker 7: Point, I mean Thursday games, neutral site games, none of it goes on the overall record. 02:25:03 Speaker 1: I love that reader. 02:25:04 Speaker 2: Now, that is where I could see you being like, you know, when when do you win? 02:25:08 Speaker 8: Is enough enough on the on the spin zones? 02:25:10 Speaker 2: To me, we are fully capable of taking care of business this weekend, and it just it pissed me off so much. 02:25:17 Speaker 8: It hurts so much that we drop the ball against I think. 02:25:19 Speaker 2: I think you need a temper expectations on your team. I think if with the line, I think I know if you if you if you keep taking. 02:25:26 Speaker 1: The line is three Vegas goes someone we don't right, If you keep that game within ten points, you should be really proud of that. Also, we need to talk about the bust and bowl we today. We need to get him to sign because here's the issue I think we're running into right now. It'd be tough for us to go to the break ask and ask them, hey, will you guys sign this after taking an el to Minnesota, Like, it's just not fair to ask them. It's better to have three signatures and then have their ad just fucking sign it and get it done with what's officially official. My stitiest moment of the week is going to be being in Vancouver. Oh, there's a lot that needs to be said. My backpack was stolen. Yeah, that's a tough that's tough. That was tough. What would you say, have like skin cancer? 02:30:57 Speaker 2: Uh? 02:30:58 Speaker 1: Don't? We don't have No, don't wear your sunscreens. 02:31:01 Speaker 2: There's some quality organics, there's healthy sunscreens out there. Never heard of sunscreen only Taylor sent me a video one time on Instagram about like, see, don't wear your sunscreen. I'm thinking, like, brother, I have made the mistake of not wearing sunscreen, and I am I just get yeah, yeah, burnt to a crisp. 02:31:20 Speaker 1: Humans are we're outside until as cavement, we've evolved being outside our whole lives. 02:31:28 Speaker 8: I forgot we're outside hunting dinosaurs. 02:31:30 Speaker 1: Still, Yeah, you just showed us stupid jar with that comment. 02:31:34 Speaker 2: With your olive skin. Fucking doesn't really get burnt. Motherfucking ass dude. I'm not sure how to take that. My shadow off. Free shadow is maybe gonna be a controversial one. It's going to be to the the neighborhood palms up interpretive talking old dads. I was hitting a corner pretty hard in Canada and this guy was walking his dog and he hit me with the give me at the palms up and then to slow down. And at first it pissed me the fuck off because I was like, who are you telling me what? 02:32:05 Speaker 1: The dude? Brother? But I was hitting that corner pretty hard, and then I thought, this dude is really just being the savior that this neighborhood needs between the reckless drivers like me, and he's doing his job and he's more pissed off than I am at this point, and he just wants he wants law and order in his area. And I can appreciate the shit out of that and him taking the time out of his day to show me his frustration and let me know, brother, hey, you're going too fast. Slow down. He knows I can't hear him, but he knows the hand gestures I can gather in my head what he needs, so I can really appreciate his effort to tell me what to do with that situation. So shout out those debts. That's a good shut out, thanks man. 02:32:44 Speaker 2: I do have a question like When are you gonna When are you gonna stop driving some reckless out there? 02:32:48 Speaker 1: What do you mean, man, I don't drive that reclord. We got some stories. I'm sure who. 02:32:53 Speaker 2: Who they're now on the room, Well, who's driving reckless? You don't want the red lights? We have the no, yeah, we have the trip to Indianapolis. 02:33:13 Speaker 1: Got out of that one. 02:33:16 Speaker 2: Driving by booths that went not driving by but when we left boost and you were. 02:33:21 Speaker 1: I was only eighty down there forty five got pulled over. 02:33:23 Speaker 8: Yeah, got out of that one. 02:33:25 Speaker 1: I mean yeah, Like I don't know, Like I dude, it isn't. I think it's like an attention thing because I sometimes i'm driving, especially lately ever since N's been out of my life, I'm especially more aggressive on driving because there's nothing like taking my Like, I'm so fucking bored behind that wheel. So yeah, so bored. Huh oh yeah, goam oh, I'll just to them. I haven't thought of that. Oh yeah, I went through like two packs of gum yesterday. 02:33:53 Speaker 2: Brother, my shout out, no free shout out is going to go to ice cream and three days in a row over the weekend. 02:34:06 Speaker 1: Thank you. The twist question brought to you by Twisted Tea, the smoothest hard iced tea out there, perfect for pool parties, college game days. Keeping it twisted with Twisted Tea. Brother? 02:36:04 Speaker 2: It goes perfectly on ice when it's hot and that yeah, kickoffs, especially these first couple of weekends, you're gonna be out there tailgating. You're gonna feel little bit of that sunburn. It's gonna feel a lot like that Tennessee game in Nissan Stadium where the sun is out of it. You are battling the elements a little bit. However, when you have a freshly brewed, iced twisted tea in your hand, there is no better feeling. There's no better feeling. But Mitch, Mitch coming to us with the twisted tea question of the day. 02:36:49 Speaker 1: Well, I have a twisted question for you. Where's our where's our drip bike? 02:36:54 Speaker 5: I got a text a guy I was playing on a texting him today. 02:36:57 Speaker 1: All right, Cool, he's got some answers. 02:36:58 Speaker 8: You just tell me about it last week. 02:36:59 Speaker 1: Cool. So I literally drove up today excited. I got here in a hurry too. According to will you Tell You Drive on a Tuesday? 02:37:06 Speaker 5: But hard twisted question is would you rather lose your sight or lose all of your memories? 02:37:16 Speaker 1: JP? 02:37:16 Speaker 8: Ken Don from three? So what be blind or like have dementia? 02:37:25 Speaker 1: All right, ready three two, that's what we're doing. 02:37:30 Speaker 2: I kind of want to hear other people speak. I need to be soul lot because I don't know right now. 02:37:33 Speaker 1: I'm is no. But the thing we'll just said is it be blind or have dementia? Essentially because it changes my answer? 02:37:40 Speaker 2: Oh you you're blind immediately or you lose all your memories immediately? 02:37:45 Speaker 1: Now we talked about this before the show. Is it like Bear Devil where I get to have superpowers? Now? Am I hearing stronger? 02:37:51 Speaker 2: No? 02:37:51 Speaker 1: You are? You? 02:37:54 Speaker 8: You're asking for a ride home? 02:37:56 Speaker 1: Like men in Black? I get that little pen on me. Yeah, so I'm just a vegetable. You don't know, you don't know how you got here? Okay, I got my answer. What is it? Sight? I'm losing my sight for sure, I think absolutely without a doubt, like the thought think of like not seeing it? How it shout out all the warriors out there with all not all the sense, and then they can't see that shit sucks. The thought of me closing my eyes and wandering through life right now sounds really fucking hard. Well, you know what's harder knowing nothing and doing like not understanding anything. Like if I lose all my memories everything, I have no idea of the human being that I am, the establishment I have of my family, like any of that shit. Now I'm just fucking wandering through life, just a new human being. Do I have to acquire new memories or do I to have one? No, let's just say it. Like Dory from Finding Nemo. 02:38:47 Speaker 2: You're like Channing Tatum in that movie where he loses his memory with his wife. 02:38:52 Speaker 1: Yeah, he wakes up to get ten second tom from from uh fifty first dates. 02:38:57 Speaker 2: Right, Like, yeah, yeah, fifty first Dates. That's a great that's a great place. You wake up up and you're all your memories are gone, and you're just you're you. It's not like you don't know like what am I? What am I without all my memories? I'm not really me? 02:39:07 Speaker 8: I'm just But I'm saying like, that's the that's the type of person you are. 02:39:10 Speaker 1: Yeah, I stand neither one of them are great. Let's be honest, it's talk. I'm picking a winner out of here, but like, this is the lesser of two evils. In my opinion, I'm going site. Does anybody disagree? 02:39:21 Speaker 2: I think I'm going site as well. I'm going site as well because again, you have all your memories. But if you don't have your memories, people are still gonna you. Guys are gonna be like, hey, will, this is this is what you this is what happens Like this is this is what you gotta do today. 02:39:35 Speaker 1: You get to kind of recreate them. Like you guys are all gonna rally around. 02:39:39 Speaker 6: You never see your family again. 02:39:41 Speaker 1: Yeah, but you'll, dude, you'll be able to remember all the good times though too. And also, Jack, you lose all your memories, guess is getting taken advantage of you on a daily basis. They're handing them out. 02:39:51 Speaker 6: Looking advantage of If you're blind. 02:39:54 Speaker 1: You get a cool stick and a dog, dude, like they're a prosing blind. That's that's better than losing all your. 02:39:59 Speaker 6: Mon a new life. 02:40:02 Speaker 1: His voice is kind of gone. You always get them. Look at them spiraling. 02:40:13 Speaker 2: Yeah, that's tough. It's hard to pick. That's that man, that is a fucking loose lose situation. Well, would you guys. 02:40:18 Speaker 6: Listen to football forever? You go to movies. You listen to movies. 02:40:24 Speaker 1: People did that, People did that back in the fifties. That's called radio. 02:40:27 Speaker 6: Yeah, it sounds awful. 02:40:28 Speaker 1: No, read a book. I read a book, clearly, I read a book. A book I read. The last book I read was The Showdown at Lohawk. It was a it was a Western book. I actually read it when I was in Canada and it was a phenomenal. I literally thought to myself. I literally thought to myself, Wow, people who say, oh, if you know the movie was good, the book's even better. I understand why, because your imagination gets to go a little bit. But you listen to the radio, they paint a picture for you too. Those people radio voices do do a great job. I think the memory. 02:40:57 Speaker 8: Thing maybe maybe losing the memories. 02:41:01 Speaker 1: Oh, you're leaving me. But here's why, here's why. 02:41:05 Speaker 2: The way was explain The way we was explaining is you don't get more, you just reset every day. 02:41:08 Speaker 8: He said, no, no, no, and not reset every day. 02:41:10 Speaker 2: You were just talking about being a vegetable, like you don't know what you don't know how to speak words because you're like starting at zero, basically like learning how to walk. I'm saying like, you wake up tomorrow morning and you're you in your bed realizing where in the fuck am I? But you're still able to, like, you know, say where in the fuck am I? And talk and people are just gonna have to tell you, show you memories like what to show you all the videos on YouTube like you cause you're still see still see. 02:41:36 Speaker 1: Who you were you you were misladed, Taylor. 02:41:41 Speaker 7: I see why you thought what he was saying, because the examples you gave, like, oh, so you're like so and so off of fifty first dates. Yeah, no, they're saying you actually you like reset your life, like you get all your memories. You're creating all your new memories from this point on. 02:41:55 Speaker 1: Yeah, and you get then I'm swishing mine as well. You don't have any any old memories, baggage, whatever it is. They're all, yeah, I don't think. I think if that is the case, because then if we're gonna keep using fifty first states, dude, give me the video cassette of showing me all the cool shit that's happened in my life. Or whatever, and now I can kind of piece the other things from there, have that and keep establishing your memories. When I'm thinking, every day's a reset. I have to relearn who my kids are, I have to relearn how to drive all that stuff, because all that shit is just memories as well, you know. So yeah, I'm with that. I'm with that, and I retract my blind statement. Although there's some perks to being blonde, there's some perks to being blond if you have the powers. 02:42:35 Speaker 2: Stand at the urinal paints to ankles, Yeah, what for sure. But it's like the the Yeah, like you don't know any different. Yeah, I'm saying like when I was growing up at school, if there's like a blind student, he would you'd walk in the bathroom and they'd be they'd be handling their business however they needed to. 02:43:02 Speaker 1: There's like all the confidence in the world to. 02:43:05 Speaker 5: Is this. 02:43:05 Speaker 1: Where is it getting weird now? You guys like like blind people can do a lot of your longs. Like they pretty much live. Yeah, like they live live normal lives. Yeah, have sticks and don't drive. 02:43:17 Speaker 2: Yeah right, yeah, no you're seeing I don't get to the daredevil. 02:43:23 Speaker 8: Yeah, but just look yourvel you could train yourself. 02:43:26 Speaker 1: You have that the waves, remember the waves, it'd be dark. Yeah, the sound waves go. 02:43:31 Speaker 8: Throw boy and John Wick? What it do we have any more? 02:43:38 Speaker 1: Someone did ask me a question. They're like, if you if you already get ten million dollars tax free everything, but you had to learn every single line in order to a movie, what movie would you pick? And my answer was John wickfo mine is Dunkirk. Oh, there's no how many words are in that? There's like ten words? Damn, bro, that's a good one too. But people were saying like, oh, dumb and dumb or this, that and the other. 02:44:01 Speaker 2: And I was like, hell, no, dude, because just because it's quotable doesn't mean you to remember verbatim. Smart, Yeah, that'd be yeah. I was thinking along those lines. I'm thinking either Lyon King or Jurassic Park or something. 02:44:18 Speaker 1: Yeah, Lion King or Dressing Park would be tough. Do you have to make the noises? He's got that in this in the script say dinosaurs. 02:44:26 Speaker 2: You know, I walked around as the t Rex in my living room, just like short arms stomping, roaring. 02:44:30 Speaker 1: Absolutely, is you really? Yeah? I love Jurassic Park man. When I was eight years old, asked take elementary school, He'd run the loop and it was like the start of fitness every single day. And I would put my arms like a velociraptor and I'd run like a raptor, run the loop, and I thought to myself, this is way faster.
