And as Danny g mentioned today, the other story in the world of baseball is Kyle Tucker and his press conference, and Dodgers fans are hyped as they should be. He's a Dodgers fan. You're not crying. You're a Yankees fan. Now. If you talk to like our Buddy Mauser and Cincinnati who this morning, He's like, yeah, be a Reds fan. We made the playoffs. You know, we had some momentum. They won eighty some of the games, and then you know, do you think they're going to make it back? No, because a team like that can't and doesn't make moves because of money. You know, if you're rooting for the Marlins or you're rooting for, you know, a team that doesn't have the funds. If you're a Tampa Bay Rays fan and you're like, you know, they always find way to put together a young exciting team, but then they are busted apart. What is the answer, Danny g from what do you think? Do you think in a year or so when they were thirty years too late to establish a salary captain bin?

It's more of a relief, like who yeah, all right, cool, all right, good? We could we could breathe down get and even before that, guys, something else to be more excited about is the World Baseball Classic. Every few days you hear someone new is playing or not playing, and you know, I think it's gonna be really competitive and exciting this year, and that starts in March, so we're gonna get some actual competitive baseball early March with the WBC. Now the question is based on the Dodgers and who can actually compete in these final moves being made. There's a lot of rumblings about a salary cap, like Baseball's got to do something.

Speaker 2: Salary cap and a floor where you can't like you know, I mean, it sounds obvious, but for people that might not understand salary cap meaning like there's a limit to spend. But then when they say salary floor, some of these cheap billionaire owners that don't want to spend any money, they have to spend a certain amount. So maybe you're essentially making a pocket of money like minimum spend this, maximum spend this, because right now there could be a team of a five hundred million dollar salary you know, you know, a payroll, and they could be a team with a fifty million dollar payroll and that's not right.

That didn't bother anybody. Why cause the Angels are poorly run. It didn't change out Cubs, the Yankees twenty ten, the four highest paid players, check check check check four Yankees four for four. They spent a ton every year and a half for thirty years in the last ten to fifteen. It doesn't change outcomes. That doesn't bother you. The Dodgers aren't just rich, That's not it. Let's keep it one hundred. They're rich and exceptionally well run. That's what bothers you. One Soto Yankees, Mets didn't bother you because he went to the Mets. They'll gag they're the Mets. Studies have shown you can be rich and unattractive or handsome and poor, and men aren't necessarily jealous of you. But if you're rich and good looking, studies show men hate you. And that's the Dodgers. Oh that's Taoscar Hernandez. He's been available twice to the sport, and your billionaire owner didn't get him at a very reasonable number. Saint Louis could afford him, the Pirates. Billionaire could afford him, The Mariners could afford him, Detroit could afford him, Cleveland could afford him.

They've lost fifteen fortune, five hundred companies in forty years, they lost an NFL team. Saint Louis is dried up as a city. It's Hartford with an arch. If some bigger market teams have wealthier TV deals, maybe there is a little more.
