<v Speaker 2>And we are heading into December here deeper and deeper
<v Speaker 2>as we count down the days to John Cena's retirement,
<v Speaker 2>which is in nine days. Unbelievably, it comes to us
<v Speaker 2>in nine nights in Washington, d C. At Saturday Night's
<v Speaker 2>main event. And it's gonna be fun and it's going
<v Speaker 2>to be certainly an emotional night. From what I understand,
<v Speaker 2>John Cena is gonna he wants to go on first
<v Speaker 2>so that he can fulfill his promise of making sure
<v Speaker 2>that the focus is on the future, which I'm kind
<v Speaker 2>of I don't want that about that night, like that's
<v Speaker 2>your night. I mean, I know he made it this
<v Speaker 2>entire year about himself, which is so funny to say.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, that's another argument for another day about if
<v Speaker 2>John Cena, you know it is a bit of an
<v Speaker 2>arcissist or not. I mean, it's not really what, of
<v Speaker 2>course Saturday is about. But when you look back at it,
<v Speaker 2>you spend a whole year stringing this out and absorbing
<v Speaker 2>all the thank yous, and you know, in a lot
<v Speaker 2>of ways it's deserved. He is one of the biggest
<v Speaker 2>stars of all time. But I really do wish on
<v Speaker 2>Saturday that he would go on last. I don't care
<v Speaker 2>about the future for one night, I mean, for us,
<v Speaker 2>one more time to say goodbye to John Cena for
<v Speaker 2>real when it comes to in ring wrestling, not of
<v Speaker 2>course television, future documentaries, future WrestleMania appearances, which he will,
<v Speaker 2>as I've outlined many times he will, but as far
<v Speaker 2>as an in ring match. If that's it, then I
<v Speaker 2>certainly would like it to be the last match of
<v Speaker 2>the night. It would be the lasting image. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>if a John Cena retirement match isn't the main event
<v Speaker 2>of a Saturday Night main event, I mean, I don't
<v Speaker 2>know what you could put in that spot, right But anyway,
<v Speaker 2>we'll get to all of that in the preview build
<v Speaker 2>up to it next week. Big big big week next week,
<v Speaker 2>huge huge week. I'm sure there's going to be specials
<v Speaker 2>and tributes and interviews. I mean they're probably going crazy
<v Speaker 2>right now backstage with stuff we're not even seeing for
<v Speaker 2>future documentaries and everything else, and backstage reactions and all
<v Speaker 2>the likes. So quite a special week next week. If

<v Speaker 2>hear from you. We get to hear your thoughts, your reactions,
<v Speaker 2>and I have a sneaking suspicion that a good many
<v Speaker 2>of these may be my reaction that I had to
<v Speaker 2>see on Punk's dog dying, which I kind of had
<v Speaker 2>a feeling most would not share my affinity for just
<v Speaker 2>not crying my eyes out over it, not golad voting
<v Speaker 2>in his pain, just simply not participating in the complete
<v Speaker 2>just shock and awe and just a lot of foe
<v Speaker 2>sadness and a lot of people that have family pets
<v Speaker 2>that can relate and and I understand that, but the
<v Speaker 2>shock and outrage and just the people actually telling me
<v Speaker 2>to kill myself. I'm not even joking. There's been a
<v Speaker 2>few of that, some of that on Twitter, which is
<v Speaker 2>quite amazing because I know what kind of person I've
<v Speaker 2>tapped into, the type of people that are sending me
<v Speaker 2>this kind of stuff, and I mean, they just fit
<v Speaker 2>the bill for what I thought i'd get. And it's
<v Speaker 2>been everything and more. It's evolved into other topics because
<v Speaker 2>it has to, because the reasoning that I feel the
<v Speaker 2>way I feel, it goes deeper. And I even got
<v Speaker 2>into a little bit of a spat with a well
<v Speaker 2>known some a well known streamer Wheezy. I'm sure you
<v Speaker 2>guys know are the blonde, right, So you know, I
<v Speaker 2>don't really agree with a lot of her opinions. Think
<v Speaker 2>to be honest, and this sentence just because like we
<v Speaker 2>had a little spat on X. I know I'm not
<v Speaker 2>I'm not a child, but I in general, I think
<v Speaker 2>that you know, she has been successful, no doubt about it,
<v Speaker 2>and I wish her success, you know I do. But
<v Speaker 2>I think a lot of her success is part of
<v Speaker 2>her you know, her consistency with what she's done. She's
<v Speaker 2>a streamer, she started off on Twitch. I think she's
<v Speaker 2>quite a following, obviously more than here. So this isn't
<v Speaker 2>me trying to grab attention. I'm actually throwing her flowers
<v Speaker 2>for for doing what she's doing, becoming She like made
<v Speaker 2>partner on Twitch and she's again quite a following. But
<v Speaker 2>I think some of that success has to do with
<v Speaker 2>the fact that she's a a blonde girl in a
<v Speaker 2>predominantly male space where you have a lot of men.
<v Speaker 2>It just kind of fits, if you know what I mean.
<v Speaker 2>And you know, while she'll claim that she's oh, it's
<v Speaker 2>such a tough space to be a woman, it's like, actually,
<v Speaker 2>you understand the irony of what you're claiming here, you
<v Speaker 2>are actually in part as successful as you are because
<v Speaker 2>you're a blonde, fairly attractive woman in a male space.
<v Speaker 2>Yet you're claiming to be some kind of oppressed victim
<v Speaker 2>in the space, and the irony, of course is lost.
<v Speaker 2>But yeah, I mean didn't go well with a lot
<v Speaker 2>of people of my claims regarding you can't actually be
<v Speaker 2>a dog mom or dog dad. You just can't. You
<v Speaker 2>can be a dog, you could be an adopter. You
<v Speaker 2>can be an owner, right, you can be a sitter.
<v Speaker 2>You can't be a mom or a dad. Why because
<v Speaker 2>you can't change what mom and dad means? All right, caregiver,
<v Speaker 2>you can be a caregiver. But people want to just
<v Speaker 2>appropriate actual motherhood or actual fatherhood with the ownership of
<v Speaker 2>a dog, right, the ownership of a dog. And it's
<v Speaker 2>not how this works. I know as much as the
<v Speaker 2>people I care for them, just as I would if
<v Speaker 2>I had children. It's like, well, that's the problem. You
<v Speaker 2>don't have children, number one, and that means that you
<v Speaker 2>don't actually understand what it means to care for a child.
<v Speaker 2>You think you do, but you don't because you don't
<v Speaker 2>have one, and it's a substitute for you. Clearly you know,
<v Speaker 2>having a hole in your life you need to fill that.
<v Speaker 2>You're trying to appropriate motherhood or fatherhood into your life
<v Speaker 2>by using a dog or a cat or whatever. And
<v Speaker 2>I again, you want to own a pet, cool, take
<v Speaker 2>care of it, love it, that's fine. But to say
<v Speaker 2>it's on some kind of equal footing as taking care
<v Speaker 2>of it of a child, a human child, I mean,
<v Speaker 2>get the hell out of here. It's simply not. So.
<v Speaker 2>It has been quite the interesting reaction it's been. It's
<v Speaker 2>been as bad as I figured it be regarding my
<v Speaker 2>opinion about it, and I just simply and a lot
<v Speaker 2>of it actually is most of the comments I have
<v Speaker 2>to say from Spotify to X although X has been
<v Speaker 2>more vile as expected. That's the way it is with
<v Speaker 2>everything there and and in email. I'm sure I've got
<v Speaker 2>some of it from you guys is oh I really
<v Speaker 2>you know, I normally agree with you, man, but this one,
<v Speaker 2>you're you're classless or some of them were like, oh yeah,
<v Speaker 2>you spent the first thirty minutes talking about a dead dog. Well,
<v Speaker 2>first of all, I don't apologize for that. I take
<v Speaker 2>absolutely nothing back. Zero did I go a little long
<v Speaker 2>in the tooth talking about a dead dog. Yeah, I
<v Speaker 2>mean on paper, I did, uh. But number one, I've
<v Speaker 2>never done that before. So it's not a pattern of
<v Speaker 2>me doing this. That's the first time ever in my
<v Speaker 2>eleven year, eleven years, twelve years doing this. And I
<v Speaker 2>wanted to explain myself thoroughly because it does kind of
<v Speaker 2>branch off into other things and another reasonings and others
<v Speaker 2>kind of subtopics about things in the world, and it
<v Speaker 2>did kind of drive me off course a little bit.
<v Speaker 2>And you know what there is though, there's that skip button.
<v Speaker 2>There's that skip ahead button that does exist, like you
<v Speaker 2>skip ahead third thirty seconds, twenty seconds, or you take
<v Speaker 2>your finger if you didn't know this, you take your
<v Speaker 2>finger at your phone and you scrub along the timeline.
<v Speaker 2>You know what that does? That moves you ahead in
<v Speaker 2>the show. So if you're just like, oh my god, okay,
<v Speaker 2>he's still talking about it, oh okay, And it takes
<v Speaker 2>a thirty minute potential droning on about a dog that
<v Speaker 2>you don't want to hear about to the wrestling content
<v Speaker 2>that started, I don't know, it really might have been
<v Speaker 2>thirty minutes and it was a while. It was a while,
<v Speaker 2>no doubt about it. So those are those two magical
<v Speaker 2>kind of like key tips hacks on your iPhone or
<v Speaker 2>Android or whatever phone you're using. So there you go. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>it was a little bit more than normal. But I
<v Speaker 2>apologize zero zero uh, And I stand by everything I said.
<v Speaker 2>If people think, oh, okay, he's gonna he's probably upset
<v Speaker 2>about the backlash, no, no, In fact, when I get pushback,
<v Speaker 2>it just my instincts are to kind of dig in
<v Speaker 2>even deeper and triple down. So if the emails I
<v Speaker 2>get today, and I'm sure they're not going to be
<v Speaker 2>some of them are nice, it's fine. It's fine. I'm
<v Speaker 2>not going to sit here and again gloat at anyone's
<v Speaker 2>pain for if they lost a dog. That's not my
<v Speaker 2>it's not my it's not my objective, not my motive.
<v Speaker 2>But let's see, let's see where things land here. Excuse me,
<v Speaker 2>all right, let's sell before we get into that. Let's start.
<v Speaker 2>Let's before we get into the dog. I want to
<v Speaker 2>start with something non dog related. Okay, which, by the way,
<v Speaker 2>people are saying, I show what are you talking about it? Well,
<v Speaker 2>it was like it was trending on Twitter like number
<v Speaker 2>one for a long time, so I guess I'm not
<v Speaker 2>allowed to talk about things that are trending on the
<v Speaker 2>Internet worldwide. I guess that's according to them, I'm not
<v Speaker 2>allowed to, or at least I'm not allowed to have
<v Speaker 2>a specific opinion about something just simply because I don't
<v Speaker 2>care as much as they do and feel other people
<v Speaker 2>should about the passing of an animal that they've never
<v Speaker 2>met in their lives. Then I'm not allowed to say anything.
<v Speaker 2>See how the world works. Yeah, well, you're gonna have
<v Speaker 2>a bit of a different You're gonna have a problem
<v Speaker 2>with me here. I'm you know, if you think I'm
<v Speaker 2>gonna apologize or cower, Yeah, that's you met the wrong person.
<v Speaker 2>You may want to find another show that that is
<v Speaker 2>is a little more squeamish or a little less squeamish,
<v Speaker 2>when it's a little more cuddly and an easy going
<v Speaker 2>and everything. So that's your warning. If you're tummy, hurts easily,
<v Speaker 2>if you're easily offended, you you've had your warning. Okay,
<v Speaker 2>there we go. This is from Darren. He was in
<v Speaker 2>attended set Survivors series in San Diego. Okay, Darren cool,
<v Speaker 2>Darren says, So, I guess I was in the bad crowd. Huh, Well, no,
<v Speaker 2>you I should you know, I know, I did say
<v Speaker 2>the crowd was not super loud that Survivor series, but
<v Speaker 2>again I attributed that, I think in part to the
<v Speaker 2>open air concept. And this is not unique to San Diego.
<v Speaker 2>I mean almost every time they have an open air stadium,
<v Speaker 2>it doesn't translate well because the noise gets lost. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>how much noise travels upward, it doesn't have a chance
<v Speaker 2>to reverberate down and so you're not in this like
<v Speaker 2>kind of echo chamber of sorts, So you're gonna lose
<v Speaker 2>some noise when when you're in an open air space.
<v Speaker 2>That's just the way it goes. So I again, you
<v Speaker 2>weren't a bad crowd, I write you better than my
<v Speaker 2>own town. No, you weren't. You guys weren't bad. A
<v Speaker 2>little quiet at times, yeah, but that's to me, that's
<v Speaker 2>kind of normal. Okay. Being there, it didn't seem as
<v Speaker 2>bad as every one saying is online, at least in
<v Speaker 2>my section, except for the Nicki Bellas Stephanievicare. I do
<v Speaker 2>remember thinking to myself, why is it so quiet? But
<v Speaker 2>there were some really loud reactions. I'd say the top
<v Speaker 2>three were John Cena, rear Ripley, and Cody Rhodes. But
<v Speaker 2>now that I'm typing this, I'm thinking maybe there are
<v Speaker 2>more people excited just to see the wrestlers than the
<v Speaker 2>actual wrestling itself. Yeah, I think you're onto something there, Darren.
<v Speaker 2>A couple quick notes. Number One, the most merch being
<v Speaker 2>worn was for John Cena by a lot, but there
<v Speaker 2>was nothing I really loved there, so I didn't even
<v Speaker 2>buy anything really. And also, I'm sure that you know
<v Speaker 2>they didn't exactly have anything on sale there. I'm guessing
<v Speaker 2>that the words discount and sale were banned, and if
<v Speaker 2>you know, you uttered those two words or anything resembling
<v Speaker 2>a discount or a sale, you were immediately handcuffed and
<v Speaker 2>sent to jail. Because I'm sure they didn't do that.
<v Speaker 2>It's tough. It's certainly tough buying merch a at a
<v Speaker 2>live event unless you know that you're going to get scammed. Okay,
<v Speaker 2>the demographic, I didn't notice a ton of families there.
<v Speaker 2>Of course, there were kids with one parent, but not
<v Speaker 2>many big groups. So TKO's plan of not pricing for
<v Speaker 2>families seems to be working. Congratulations. Well, yes, I mean
<v Speaker 2>that that's true. It does seem to be working. But
<v Speaker 2>the question is since they're pricing families out, does that
<v Speaker 2>really bring more non families in to make up for
<v Speaker 2>the lost families that could have gone if they could
<v Speaker 2>have afforded it. My answers, probably no. But they did
<v Speaker 2>pretty well at that's on the sales. I mean, it
<v Speaker 2>was forty some thousand in that stadium. It looked fairly full.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know if it was considered a sellout. I
<v Speaker 2>don't think it was, but it looked pretty damn good,
<v Speaker 2>and the ticket sales rose fairly well towards the end
<v Speaker 2>of the tickets The tickets sale l of the event.
<v Speaker 2>And yeah, that that doesn't also surprise me. Even as
<v Speaker 2>long as I've been watching wrestling, you know, pl e's
<v Speaker 2>as they were then known pay per views were always
<v Speaker 2>priced higher, and they should be because those are the
<v Speaker 2>bigger the bigger matches, the bigger events, the big deal
<v Speaker 2>blowoffs and starting of things and returns, and that's when
<v Speaker 2>you expect bigger things in bigger moments. You don't always
<v Speaker 2>get it, as we know that, but especially for a
<v Speaker 2>Survivor series one of the Big Four, you're an elite
<v Speaker 2>territory there, I mean, you know, not only is it
<v Speaker 2>a televised event, it's a televised ple E. And not
<v Speaker 2>only is it a well, all TV pls are televised,
<v Speaker 2>but not only is it a pl E, it's an
<v Speaker 2>elite for p l E. You know. So you're in
<v Speaker 2>a in the top four of their events of the year,
<v Speaker 2>you're going to get a premium price that does price
<v Speaker 2>out families, just the way it's going to be, and
<v Speaker 2>it seemingly has kind of been like that as long
<v Speaker 2>as I can remember watching wrestling. Okay, As for the matches,
<v Speaker 2>I thought the women's Wargames match was decent, not bad,
<v Speaker 2>not amazing. Johnson and versus Dominic was definitely my favorite match,
<v Speaker 2>and seeing live return was cool. Stephanie Vicaier versus Nikki
<v Speaker 2>Bella was also decent. But I think this is the
<v Speaker 2>one where the crowd went dead and hurt the match.
<v Speaker 2>I would agree, well, it hurt the match, but what
<v Speaker 2>did you guys have to cheer for? You know, it's
<v Speaker 2>you know, so I don't really blame you there. I
<v Speaker 2>bet if this was the exact same thing but in France,
<v Speaker 2>people would feel different. That's a good point, Darren, and
<v Speaker 2>that kind of shows you the effect the crowd could
<v Speaker 2>have on the perception of the match at home. Even
<v Speaker 2>if the moves were the same, if the botches were
<v Speaker 2>the same, everything else was completely identical, from the commentary
<v Speaker 2>to the number of steps that both women took to
<v Speaker 2>the ring. If everything matched identically, the only difference was
<v Speaker 2>the crowd. Was the crowd from Leon, France or wherever
<v Speaker 2>they go that's overseas. I guarantee you the perception, and
<v Speaker 2>even you and I would would probably agree that the
<v Speaker 2>perception of the match would probably be a little bit
<v Speaker 2>better because of the crowd reaction. That just adds so
<v Speaker 2>much to a match. Even if a match is garbage,
<v Speaker 2>a crowd can lift it up and make it the
<v Speaker 2>perception to be not as bad. The crowd has an
<v Speaker 2>incredible role. So good point. The men's War Games match
<v Speaker 2>I enjoyed until the end. I don't mind that the
<v Speaker 2>heel team won, but it just kind of felt like
<v Speaker 2>it ended abruptly. I think everyone, to me included, didn't
<v Speaker 2>want me to believe that was the ending. We were
<v Speaker 2>just waiting for something else to happen. Me too, and
<v Speaker 2>I think everybody else was to And for the premium
<v Speaker 2>price tag you paid, you probably should have gotten more there,
<v Speaker 2>you know. And also when we hear Triple Ah say
<v Speaker 2>it's going to be epic, the biggest, this, the biggest,
<v Speaker 2>that it's gonna be monumental, epic, whatever he says, now whatever,
<v Speaker 2>Just like overhyped marketing terms he uses, we all need
<v Speaker 2>to just disregard his nonsense. Disregard it, take your expectations down,
<v Speaker 2>because his definition of epic is clearly one that is
<v Speaker 2>skewed by marketing jargon. Because he promoted money that Raw
<v Speaker 2>is going to be epic, and it was anything but epic.
<v Speaker 2>And I don't think many people would be looking at
<v Speaker 2>Raw as kind of mediocre as they would have had
<v Speaker 2>Triple H not set the expectation that's going to be epic.
<v Speaker 2>Epic means massive, monster returns, monster angles started, you know,
<v Speaker 2>something like that, and we didn't get any of that.
<v Speaker 2>We got the judgment day being revived. I couldn't think
<v Speaker 2>of a lamer way to end Raw. No disrespect, excuse
<v Speaker 2>me to live Morgan, But overall I had fun being there.
<v Speaker 2>Maybe if I flew out to San Diego and spent
<v Speaker 2>a couple thousand dollars, I might have been disappointed. But luckily,
<v Speaker 2>Oh okay, wait, you live about a twenty minute drive
<v Speaker 2>to Petco Park, and I just love going to events
<v Speaker 2>in person. I also bought my tickets during the pre sale.
<v Speaker 2>They were about one point fifty and a few days
<v Speaker 2>before the event, I checked Ticketmaster in the seats in
<v Speaker 2>the same section I they were going for five hundred. Wow. Oh, Darren,
<v Speaker 2>you lucked out, my friend. You lucked out big time. See.
<v Speaker 2>I was thinking you were probably dropping at least over
<v Speaker 2>a g and you lucked out. You live local and
<v Speaker 2>you got pre sale smart man. Oh well, I'm glad
<v Speaker 2>to see that might have been worth the price of admission.
<v Speaker 2>I think that was so. Even though it wasn't a
<v Speaker 2>a event that you're gonna remember an infamy, it was
<v Speaker 2>still probably worth it. I would say, all right, where
<v Speaker 2>are we going here? Let's good grief. Where do I go?
<v Speaker 2>What are I'm trying to avoid the dog thing for
<v Speaker 2>a minute. Let's talk to Kyle Kyle or Captain k C.
<v Speaker 2>He's writing in from West Yorkshire. All right, cool, longtime listener,
<v Speaker 2>first time running in. I felt Survivors series was such
<v Speaker 2>a disappointment despite the amount of top tier talent that
<v Speaker 2>that was in wargames. I'm glad, however, that Live is
<v Speaker 2>back and what's your further open thoughts on the possibility
<v Speaker 2>of who could be in the black hoodie besides who
<v Speaker 2>online everyone suggesting it is. I would like to think
<v Speaker 2>it's someone beyond Austin theory, but it needs to make sense.
<v Speaker 2>It's a good question. It could be Joe Hendry. Joe
<v Speaker 2>Henry turning heel to attack punk makes no sense. I
<v Speaker 2>mean Austin theory fits the bill. The longer though that
<v Speaker 2>they push this off, the higher their expectations going to be.
<v Speaker 2>And if it's Austin theory, the I mean it's going
<v Speaker 2>to be a big letdown. But that's okay if it's
<v Speaker 2>a heel though, because number one, it's about pushing younger talent.
<v Speaker 2>It always has been the lifeblood of the company rests
<v Speaker 2>on young talent, because that's how the company will survive
<v Speaker 2>in the future, is by continuously helping build young talent.
<v Speaker 2>And that would be a hell of a boost for theory.
<v Speaker 2>Now that quote theory no pun intended, was also implemented
<v Speaker 2>on Austin theory a few WrestleManias ago when he beat
<v Speaker 2>John Cena, and that actually marked the decline of his career.
<v Speaker 2>Since that moment, it did nothing for him at all.
<v Speaker 2>By beating John Cena at Wrestler nothing zero. So perhaps
<v Speaker 2>there's something more solid here in this group of the vision.
<v Speaker 2>It fits Austin theory well, because again it's an instantaneous
<v Speaker 2>boost right to the top of money net Raw. You
<v Speaker 2>get to work with braun Breaker Bronson Reed, who does
<v Speaker 2>need some work, but bron Breaker is right now at
<v Speaker 2>an all time high. Yeah, Paul Hayman, there, Austin theory
<v Speaker 2>can cut a decent promo too. And then eventually when
<v Speaker 2>Seth comes back, what's he gonna do? He could have
<v Speaker 2>someone to work with, but it would put him in
<v Speaker 2>the conversation immediately with Punk and Austin Theory can work
<v Speaker 2>with anybody. So yeah, I mean, I hate to cop
<v Speaker 2>out on this one, but who else even makes sense?
<v Speaker 2>That's out there still, that's realistic? Who you know? I
<v Speaker 2>don't know. There is a picture of the masked man
<v Speaker 2>who looked directly at someone's came in the audience. He
<v Speaker 2>has blue eyes, all right. I feel like I'm playing

<v Speaker 2>and covering WWE, it's garbage. The only good thing about
<v Speaker 2>it about is notoriety of wrestlers, but the substance of
<v Speaker 2>each character is usually holdovers from times when the times
<v Speaker 2>were better. The TNA stars actually have instant star power
<v Speaker 2>and wow factors. I enjoy everything about TNA. Sometimes the
<v Speaker 2>NXT stars and creative are responsible for some of their
<v Speaker 2>stories or match endings, which is actually noticeable. Seriously, consider
<v Speaker 2>trading your efforts and spend time time spent in WWE
<v Speaker 2>to TNA. I've watched it since Bound for Glory pay
<v Speaker 2>per view of theirs, and it's been scratching the wrestling
<v Speaker 2>itch the best it's ever been. I have seen things
<v Speaker 2>from wrestlers in TNA that I have never seen in WWE. Unfortunately,
<v Speaker 2>they don't have a one hundred percent consistent product weekly
<v Speaker 2>as the wrestlers do actually get breaks and a life
<v Speaker 2>to themselves, which I respect. I've watched twenty twenty four
<v Speaker 2>and twenty twenty three's Bound for Glory pay per views,
<v Speaker 2>and I happily would watch outdated wrestling compared to the
<v Speaker 2>current product of WWE. Again, TNA's fire and WW is trash. Seriously,
<v Speaker 2>TNA should be adopted by all of your fans, and
<v Speaker 2>you should cover it. If Dom and Drew go to TNA,
<v Speaker 2>all the other stars can stay and keep the corporate
<v Speaker 2>puppet show alive while real stars and wrestling take place
<v Speaker 2>in TNA. And also Logan Paul could be allowed to

<v Speaker 2>into wrestling, really starting to watch. Of course, I was
<v Speaker 2>spoiled by the attitude era. But now I'm that guy complaining, Oh,
<v Speaker 2>it was so much better back in my day. I mean, well,
<v Speaker 2>today's product is so sanitized and not in a way
<v Speaker 2>that's the PG stuff, although that's a small part of it.
<v Speaker 2>I do miss the blood, guts, gore in a way
<v Speaker 2>when it was necessary, not just for its own sake,
<v Speaker 2>but when you know, you wanted someone to see someone
<v Speaker 2>get hit in the head with a chair and get
<v Speaker 2>busted open, and there was just more like kind of chaos, chaos,
<v Speaker 2>and it felt more unpredictable, like things could just happen
<v Speaker 2>and it wasn't. It didn't feel so structured. You know,
<v Speaker 2>today's product, even though Triple H is at the top here,
<v Speaker 2>it's TKO, clearly doesn't respect the the lineage of professional wrestling.
<v Speaker 2>They are giving you just entertainment. They're not going to
<v Speaker 2>pay homage to pro wrestling, and pro wrestling is the entertainment,
<v Speaker 2>but they have put that as like a fifth priority
<v Speaker 2>when it comes to everything else. You know, they just
<v Speaker 2>don't prioritize what made pro wrestling or even understand what
<v Speaker 2>made pro wrestling so great and so popular, which is
<v Speaker 2>this is really revolutionary realistic stories that are easy to
<v Speaker 2>follow with deep characters. I mean that's at its core.
<v Speaker 2>Is that all encompassing. No, but at a high level,
<v Speaker 2>that's what draws you to wrestling, and really draws you
<v Speaker 2>to any genre of entertainment, whether it's a TV show
<v Speaker 2>or a movie, or you go if you go to
<v Speaker 2>your local theater or whatever. That's what draws you to
<v Speaker 2>entertainment because you want to get lost. You want to
<v Speaker 2>be able to live vicariously through the characters that you're watching.
<v Speaker 2>And I remember being able to do that, and today,
<v Speaker 2>excuse me, today, I'm still I'm almost not sick anymore.
<v Speaker 2>I'm very close, So I'm trying to speak softly tonight.
<v Speaker 2>But today there's so much more worried about celebrities being
<v Speaker 2>at there events and exposing the entire process of how
<v Speaker 2>they run the show and make a whole show about it,
<v Speaker 2>and then tell you about how they make the show
<v Speaker 2>during the show you're supposed to be invested in. They
<v Speaker 2>have the words heal and babyface and promo being used
<v Speaker 2>in promos. You know, you have these very kind of structured,
<v Speaker 2>predictable spots in matches that don't look organic, and they
<v Speaker 2>look extremely pre planned. And that's not to downplay the
<v Speaker 2>effort that these men and women put in. They are
<v Speaker 2>just working within the system that they have been told
<v Speaker 2>they have to work within. But it to me has
<v Speaker 2>real the wrestling matches themselves. If that's what you're trying
<v Speaker 2>to sell me with TNA, and I'm not speaking against that,
<v Speaker 2>I really you're making me think Chris for real. But
<v Speaker 2>maybe that's the part that is missing, and that's a
<v Speaker 2>big part of what's missing. It's just like the organic
<v Speaker 2>field during matches. And it's like you said, the kickouts
<v Speaker 2>of finishes is a symptom of a bigger problem and
<v Speaker 2>I hate it too. TNA is just much more wrestling based.
<v Speaker 2>It's just wrestling, and there's some It doesn't mean that
<v Speaker 2>TNA doesn't have it's you know, it's kind of it's
<v Speaker 2>moments of it's not just all in ring, but the
<v Speaker 2>focus is there. A lot of the focus is there,

<v Speaker 2>I find myself watching matches in WWE and I'm feeling
<v Speaker 2>a number of things, Either why do I care who
<v Speaker 2>wins or loses? This was I told why I should care?

<v Speaker 2>of these spots look just so lack of a better term,

<v Speaker 2>you at all. You obviously got everybody can watch whatever

<v Speaker 2>Cena in person, we just have to wait for that
<v Speaker 2>that WrestleMania Hall of Fame induction because he will for sure,
<v Speaker 2>I mean, he has to be in person for that induction.
<v Speaker 2>He'll be that the Hall of Fame the night before
<v Speaker 2>which I have been to, and he'll be actually announced
<v Speaker 2>and presented at that particular WrestleMania. It could be as
<v Speaker 2>soon as this one in Vegas. They might decide to
<v Speaker 2>make John Cena the head of this year's Hall of Fame.

<v Speaker 2>class of the Hall of Fame class. He's not gonna
<v Speaker 2>have a match, He's probably not even gonna cut a promo.

<v Speaker 2>kid really wanted to see John Cena in person, but
<v Speaker 2>the match card for Night two of Summer Slam is
<v Speaker 2>so much weaker that I convinced him we should have
<v Speaker 2>more fun on night one, and I was right. However,
<v Speaker 2>I also did recently buy us tickets for Sena's last
<v Speaker 2>match in DC. Wait a minute, I should have read
<v Speaker 2>ahead my whole explanation about the Hall of Fame. You're
<v Speaker 2>probably sitting here, so read the rest of the email.
<v Speaker 2>I didn't go that far. Yeah, you're an enabler, that's
<v Speaker 2>what you are. You are a flat out enabler. So
<v Speaker 2>you said you recently bought us tickets for Sena's last
<v Speaker 2>match in DC. Oh God, I keep telling myself this
<v Speaker 2>will be the last WWE tickets we buy for a
<v Speaker 2>long long time. I'm tired of giving TK all my
<v Speaker 2>money when they're not running the business properly. We went
<v Speaker 2>to an AEW event recently and felt like we got
<v Speaker 2>way more than our money's worth from that, and there
<v Speaker 2>were a lot of families there, more than I expected.
<v Speaker 2>We're also fortunate to have a good local independent wrestling
<v Speaker 2>circuit in our area, so we'll support that instead too.
<v Speaker 2>But despite the frustration, I've definitely fallen in love with
<v Speaker 2>the sport and it's been awesome to be able to
<v Speaker 2>come a WW expert with the help of my show.

<v Speaker 2>Orton returned from back surgery fusion back fusion surgery at
<v Speaker 2>Survivors series, only for it to be overshadowed by Punk's return.

<v Speaker 2>wwe never left a guy who shot on it. I
<v Speaker 2>don't think I've ever read that word on air shat
<v Speaker 2>good stuff, bailed and ran away. That pissed me off.
<v Speaker 2>I do feel Punk is a bit overrated. I do
<v Speaker 2>whoever think that he's good at what he does. And
<v Speaker 2>don't get me wrong, but the way people talk about
<v Speaker 2>him and how they chanted his name for years after
<v Speaker 2>he felt like it was more than a fad of
<v Speaker 2>actually wanting Punk there. Albeit I think him being around
<v Speaker 2>is good for the but he isn't mount Rushmore level. Okay,

<v Speaker 2>thing is funny. The the idea that Orton was overshadowed
<v Speaker 2>is true even Orton. If you saw some of the
<v Speaker 2>backstage stuff Orton was, Yeah, he was. He was visibly annoyed,
<v Speaker 2>and I would be too. He was out for almost
<v Speaker 2>two years, makes a spectacular entrance, looks like four million
<v Speaker 2>bucks better than when he left. He just looked like,
<v Speaker 2>you know, he was restructured and he rebuilt, I should say.
<v Speaker 2>And then ten minutes later Seampunk comes out and it's
<v Speaker 2>like people forgot about Randy. He's like, oh my god,
<v Speaker 2>Seampunk's back. It's not on It's not Seampunk's fault. You know,
<v Speaker 2>that's on Creative. That's their decision. I mean, I know
<v Speaker 2>Seampunk agreed to it, but why wouldn't He's in Chicago.
<v Speaker 2>You think Sampunk's going to turn down that money and
<v Speaker 2>that opportunity. Of course not nobody would. Nobody in the
<v Speaker 2>sound of my voice, would turned down the money that
<v Speaker 2>he made that night for that return in their own hometown.
<v Speaker 2>Y s. Whorton was kind of collateral damage, but it
<v Speaker 2>was WWE's creative decision not seeing punks. Okay, here we
<v Speaker 2>go more importantly about the dog. We actually lost our
<v Speaker 2>family dog last week. I'll point out no offense taken
<v Speaker 2>to anything you said. Well, yay, yeah, okay, so it's
<v Speaker 2>a good start. Good start, I mean, yeah, I do.
<v Speaker 2>I'm sorry to hear about your dog. Yeah, I'm sorry that,
<v Speaker 2>you know, again, family dogs, I understand it. I'm not.
<v Speaker 2>I'm not downplaying the pain people feel for their for
<v Speaker 2>their family dogs when they lose them. That's not my point.
<v Speaker 2>I'm not. You know, I'm not a psycho arraya what
<v Speaker 2>do you call it, sociopath when they have just no
<v Speaker 2>feeling they have like no empathy or whatever. No, I'm
<v Speaker 2>not that. I just I don't personally feel that way.

<v Speaker 2>un raw this week and a sob story about my
<v Speaker 2>dog and all seriousness. He was a part of our family,
<v Speaker 2>and I do believe dogs have a place. I have
<v Speaker 2>their place and a family, even dating back years and
<v Speaker 2>years for hunting in early humans. It's madship. Dogs have
<v Speaker 2>become domesticated because of it, and if they and they
<v Speaker 2>do see us as their pack. At the same time, though,
<v Speaker 2>I'm a father of two young boys, and it's apples
<v Speaker 2>and oranges. I find it laughable when people compare them
<v Speaker 2>to actual children. I'll stop there. So I like that.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, yeah, you can bond with a dog, not
<v Speaker 2>in the way that you can bomb with a person.
<v Speaker 2>Dogs can't speak, They're considerably less intelligent than people. They have,
<v Speaker 2>you know, a very limited reasoning that kind of thing.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, humans are just superior almost every way, almost,
<v Speaker 2>and that's just a fact. But that doesn't mean that
<v Speaker 2>dogs should be treated poorly. Animals should not be treated poorly.
<v Speaker 2>It's just I think I'm trying to clarify my position,
<v Speaker 2>and I like how you're talking about that. You know,
<v Speaker 2>dogs have become domesticated, and they have. But as long
<v Speaker 2>as humans have been around and dogs have been, you know,
<v Speaker 2>a part of the mix. They have helped in hunting
<v Speaker 2>and everything else. So yes, and protection as well, and
<v Speaker 2>and dogs. I understand why dogs. Many people bring dogs
<v Speaker 2>into their family as part of it. I get that
<v Speaker 2>absolutely I just personally don't have an affinity or a
<v Speaker 2>drive for that, If that makes sense, that's all. It'd
<v Speaker 2>be different if I was sitting here and be like you,
<v Speaker 2>I don't understand why people are so attached, and it's
<v Speaker 2>it's weird. Dogs should be you know, banished and and
<v Speaker 2>you know beaten and all that. That's that's a little
<v Speaker 2>bit different of a message. It's not that's what I
<v Speaker 2>was saying, even though many people have heard that in
<v Speaker 2>their minds, that's what that's what they heard. Now I
<v Speaker 2>will say that certain breeds of dog should not be
<v Speaker 2>allowed in neighborhoods, and you may be like, what do
<v Speaker 2>you mean? Okay, now this is another topic. This is
<v Speaker 2>the last thing I promise that I'll say, and then
<v Speaker 2>we'll get to your closing comments about the dog and
<v Speaker 2>wrap the whole show up. I promise there's not going
<v Speaker 2>to be a thirty minute tirade. But when it comes
<v Speaker 2>to pitbulls, there is just no disputing the fact that
<v Speaker 2>pitbulls are an overwhelming culprit when it comes to mauling
<v Speaker 2>young children or adults and or other dogs. It's just fact.
<v Speaker 2>It's over I think it's sixty sixty five percent of
<v Speaker 2>all dog attacks or maulings of people are pitbull Pitples
<v Speaker 2>are innately more aggressive, and people may say, well, not mine,
<v Speaker 2>mine's cute. Okay, First of all, if you're just getting
<v Speaker 2>a dog because it's cute, that's an irresponsible dog ownership problem.
<v Speaker 2>You can't well, just because it's cute is not a reason.
<v Speaker 2>And if you think your dog would never do that, well,
<v Speaker 2>what do you think all of the other families that
<v Speaker 2>own pitbulls thought of their pitbulls that they wouldn't do
<v Speaker 2>that as well? But every year, multiple times a year,
<v Speaker 2>you'll hear on the news, your local news or a
<v Speaker 2>may sometimes it makes national about a dog that got
<v Speaker 2>out and attacked a young child or attacked and malled
<v Speaker 2>another dog. It's indisputable that they are overwhelmingly more aggressive
<v Speaker 2>than almost any other breed. So to me, piples should
<v Speaker 2>I'm not saying we should hunt down and kill them,
<v Speaker 2>but they should not be allowed in neighborhoods, and just
<v Speaker 2>based on the data, all right, That's that's why that
<v Speaker 2>when I feel strongly about just because I mean, how
<v Speaker 2>many more people or dogs are supposed to die because
<v Speaker 2>people are bringing pit bulls, these wild animals into their
<v Speaker 2>into their backyards and yeah, they'll never mine, wouldn't mine is?
<v Speaker 2>So you know mine's really friendly. Yes, sorry, keep your
<v Speaker 2>goddamn pit bull at home. I don't want to see it.
<v Speaker 2>I am. Pit Bulls to me are just like, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I don't trust them. I don't trust and you shouldn't either.
<v Speaker 2>If you have a pit bull, Uh, just keep it,
<v Speaker 2>keep it away from your I mean, of course I
<v Speaker 2>can't tell everything what to do. I would be cautious
<v Speaker 2>with your dog around, especially a pit bull around. If
<v Speaker 2>you have young kids, you got to watch them, just
<v Speaker 2>do even if that dog has been around for months
<v Speaker 2>or years. What if it's that one thing that triggers
<v Speaker 2>them next thing? You know, you know, you've got a
<v Speaker 2>tragedy on your hands. Happens every year to the people
<v Speaker 2>that would say the same thing that you would probably
<v Speaker 2>say if you own a pit bull, that wouldn't happen
<v Speaker 2>to me, not my dog. Yeah, so okay, last part
<v Speaker 2>about the dog, and Shane says, a I think it's
<v Speaker 2>something as a parent, which Sandpunk clearly isn't. You only
<v Speaker 2>understand then you can't live without your children. You're biologically
<v Speaker 2>not meant to outlive them, and losing them would be
<v Speaker 2>the most the worst thing in the world. While losing
<v Speaker 2>our dog was sad, Like, come on, as much as
<v Speaker 2>I love my dog, in complete honesty, I would have
<v Speaker 2>ran over my dog. First. Oh god, I'm gonna read
<v Speaker 2>this again. Sorry as I'll read this again and I
<v Speaker 2>promise to keep it together. As much as I loved
<v Speaker 2>my dog and complete honestly, I would have run over
<v Speaker 2>my dog numerous times. If I had to choose between
<v Speaker 2>them or my child, I'd run over a dog happily
<v Speaker 2>if it meant my child was safe. I guess only
<v Speaker 2>a real parent would understand that. Like, yeah, I loved
<v Speaker 2>my dog, but love them like an owner loves a dog.
<v Speaker 2>I do think it's sad, but life goes on. I'm
<v Speaker 2>not going to have a mental breakdown over losing my dog,
<v Speaker 2>not like my son's. See, that's the perspective that people
<v Speaker 2>that have children have. It's a very normal, healthy perspective.
<v Speaker 2>You love the dog, you respect the dog, you take
<v Speaker 2>care of the dog, but you're the dog's owner. Now,
<v Speaker 2>being an owner doesn't mean that you treat it like
<v Speaker 2>crap as you know. It means you take care of
<v Speaker 2>its needs. You know, you love on it, whatever, But
<v Speaker 2>it pales in comparison to the sacrifice, the love, the joy,
<v Speaker 2>even of course the stress. And we all know that
<v Speaker 2>you have a young kid, kid or kids, you know
<v Speaker 2>that comes with children. And I think only those that
<v Speaker 2>have children can see that perspective where people who have
<v Speaker 2>dogs and call themselves dog moms or dog dads or
<v Speaker 2>whatever are trying to substitute for something that they don't have. Uh,
<v Speaker 2>and you know, it's it's sad, and it also is
<v Speaker 2>kind of disrespectful. I think to actual parents of human beings,
<v Speaker 2>that obviously is a much bigger, deeper, more meaningful task
<v Speaker 2>than taking care of an animal. Uh, that's just a fact.
<v Speaker 2>Love it or hate emmy. I don't know if these
<v Speaker 2>people think if they say it enough times it'll be true.
<v Speaker 2>Maybe that's the thing they have to It's like beetlejuice.

<v Speaker 2>don't know what to tell you if your message that
<v Speaker 2>you're taking from what I'm saying is I think all
<v Speaker 2>dogs should die, and you know it's not the same
<v Speaker 2>as having a human child. I mean, I don't know
<v Speaker 2>have to tell you, I just don't. But okay, perhaps
<v Speaker 2>they should have an Eddie Guerrero like tribute for this dog,
<v Speaker 2>lighting it up on stage, lining it up on stage,
<v Speaker 2>or Bray Wyatt like having the fireflies. I think Sampunk
<v Speaker 2>is only milking it for sympathy, to be honest, But
<v Speaker 2>you don't have to have the same love for a
<v Speaker 2>dog as you do your kids. You're an absolute buffoon
<v Speaker 2>if you think that Cheers, you're just too logical. Ps
<v Speaker 2>Cmpunk can't fight lost all's aura going to the UFC
<v Speaker 2>and losing to nobody's. It's funny watching him act tough,
<v Speaker 2>like I'd be more afraid of his his misses. To
<v Speaker 2>be honest, yeah, I've got a lot of I mean,
<v Speaker 2>see him Punk obviously legendary on the mic, very good
<v Speaker 2>in the ring. I think, I really do think he's
<v Speaker 2>very good in the ring. I still do. But everything

<v Speaker 2>outside of wrestling, like very consistently, almost everything that he

<v Speaker 2>Brooks and I have in common is the love of wrestling.

<v Speaker 2>top to bottom. He can keep it from all of
<v Speaker 2>his beliefs and values and all the rest of the
<v Speaker 2>garbage he propagates. No, no, but yeah, you know that
<v Speaker 2>they're going to actually do some kind of tribute. USA
<v Speaker 2>Network even on X put out something about the dog.
<v Speaker 2>It's getting ridiculous, and he's putting out all He's sitting
<v Speaker 2>there with a dog and pushing it on a swing.

<v Speaker 2>video or a picture of him pushing the dog on
<v Speaker 2>the swing. That is biology and just your wiring calling
<v Speaker 2>to you that, hey, you know you should probably pro
<v Speaker 2>create here with actual human beings. So your brain latches
<v Speaker 2>onto something that you know innately that you should have,
<v Speaker 2>you should do, But it latches onto a dog to
<v Speaker 2>fill that hole that can never be filled with anything
<v Speaker 2>but a human child. Now, I'm not saying everybody must
<v Speaker 2>have children, but most of us have the innate drive.
<v Speaker 2>Most of us just have the it just built in.
<v Speaker 2>You don't even have to think about it. Most not everybody,
<v Speaker 2>most of us do, and those that don't and try
<v Speaker 2>to to supplant a dog for a human as if
<v Speaker 2>it has the same worth it doesn't. Yeah, I mean
<v Speaker 2>you are. You're fooling yourself and you're just you're completely
<v Speaker 2>appropriating motherhood for what it actually is. In their minds
<v Speaker 2>or the way that their logic plays out is if
<v Speaker 2>I get a dog and I had no kids, I'd
<v Speaker 2>be a dog dad. If a woman walks into a
<v Speaker 2>shelter and gets a dog, suddenly they're a dog mom
<v Speaker 2>just automatically. That means like anyone can be a mom
<v Speaker 2>or dad just on a whim. Right, you could just
<v Speaker 2>walk into a store and become a mom or a dad.
<v Speaker 2>Think about that, you just look, anybody can just anyone really,
<v Speaker 2>at any time, you can purchase your way into being
<v Speaker 2>a mom or dad. Now you can be a This
<v Speaker 2>is where people get into semantics, right, Oh, well, it's
<v Speaker 2>about step parents. And look at the definition of mom
<v Speaker 2>and dad. Mom is short for mother, right, I am
<v Speaker 2>not the mother or father. Dad is the short the
<v Speaker 2>shortened term for father. Father figure is different and mother
<v Speaker 2>figure is different than being the actual mother and father.
<v Speaker 2>Mom and dad again short from mother and father are
<v Speaker 2>traditional roles for biological moms and dads. You can adopt, yes,
<v Speaker 2>you can adopt, but you would never say that I'm
<v Speaker 2>an adoptee owner. I'm a child owner. Right, but if
<v Speaker 2>you hear pet owner, you don't think twice. Most people
<v Speaker 2>aren't offended by that. Most people, even though they would
<v Speaker 2>like to be called mom, pet dog, or dog dad,
<v Speaker 2>if you just said pet owner, like, you know, that's
<v Speaker 2>accurate because it was a it was very much an
<v Speaker 2>accepted term and still is. When you you go to
<v Speaker 2>a store or you go to a breeder and you
<v Speaker 2>get a dog or a cat or whatever animal like,
<v Speaker 2>you're that you're the owner. You would not say the
<v Speaker 2>thing the same thing about a child. You see the
<v Speaker 2>difference already in how you view the different species. So
<v Speaker 2>it's it's become a term that I think a lot
<v Speaker 2>of childless I mean, I'm just gonna call this what
<v Speaker 2>it is. It's a lot of childless people that are
<v Speaker 2>trying to fill a hole that they can't fill so
<v Speaker 2>and be in a role that they can't or aren't
<v Speaker 2>willing to be in, so they try to use a
<v Speaker 2>dog as a supplant meant of a child, and again
<v Speaker 2>that I understand the need for that, but you're just wrong.
<v Speaker 2>You're just wrong, you know. So as far as being
<v Speaker 2>a mom or you're not. You may fill some of
<v Speaker 2>the tasks of what moms and dads do caring for it,
<v Speaker 2>feeding it, but there's a lot more to feeding and
<v Speaker 2>caring for a child than there is a dog. The
<v Speaker 2>requirements and depth of things you need to do are
<v Speaker 2>quite different. So it cheapens what mom and dad means
<v Speaker 2>when people say that, and it also wants to they're
<v Speaker 2>trying to be part of a category that they can't
<v Speaker 2>be in. You're you're not you know. It's like being
<v Speaker 2>in a in a club and you're not invited and
<v Speaker 2>you're not you're not. All right, So very good, very good. Uh,
<v Speaker 2>if you want to see some of the really really
<v Speaker 2>tough stuff on X that's not tough, but the more
<v Speaker 2>vile stuff, I mean, boy oh boy, check out my
<v Speaker 2>X speed. It's pretty pretty revealing, pretty revealing. It's not
