Second straight year in which every Sweet sixteen team is from one of the five major conferences, and we started labeling them or going to major conferences as a designation back in nineteen ninety seven. Now you can say, Okay, is this the future? Here, is this where we're headed, That it's going to be the have and the have nots, and we won't have Cinderellas. I think we will have Cinderella stories. We might only have one or two per tournament, and we had a couple of them already. Now I'm not looking at Texas as a Cinderella story, but I did look at Miami Ohio VCU High Point. They were fun, but you got to get into week two. If you get into week two, then you have a Cinderella story, and we don't have that this year. Do I think this is the future or an aberration? I think it's more of the future here of these Power five conferences, and you know, I've read off a lot of the salaries that they're dishing out to their players. Iowa Nebraska are the lowest of the Sweet sixteen at seven point two million. You got a couple of schools at eleven million. Well that's only going to rise. The question is if you're a mid major, how do you compete? And as Seth Greenberg said earlier today, I would treat my mid major as a junior college. If I can get two years out of you and then you go on because you're a better player and you're being recognized, noticed and you're going to make more money, then maybe there's a finder's fee for that coach, that that team, that school, where you don't leave these mid majors hanging.

You know, just like you know what, Drake had a really good team. Their coach goes to Iowa. He brings the team to Iowa. Well, Drake should be compensated. You know, a coach has a buyout. Maybe we get to the point where players have a buyout as well.

That surprises me a little bit. I like Arkansas. I mean, Arizona is a great team. It feels a little high. Michigan ten and a half against Alabama. Then the other games are, you know, kind of close. Duke minus six and a half against Saint John's. Texas has the longest odds to reach the national title game Alabama and then Iowa and then Arkansas. Just the best of the worst of the weekend coaching related Iowa Nebraska coaches McCollum and Hoiberg definitely geeked out on watching some of their offensive sets, looking forward to their big showdown this next week, and a tie for best goes to Maryland's women's coach Brenda Freeze. I'll say that right, getting onto our star player a great example of what a great coach athlete relationship looks like. And mister Barkley was kind of referring to that kind of great coaching earlier too. I believe Worst Todd, Golden Glad what took them down. And then speaking of best and words, a good friend of mine the other day said about sports, it's honestly the best thing to ever happened to me and also the bane of my existence.

That's what you love about March Madness. It's and it's not always about Cinderella. I just want to see good basketball. I mean, it's nice to have a good story, but I think, if I'm honest, I like a nice story for maybe a week, and then I want I want a great I want Michigan or Duke Saint John's Connecticut. You know you Arizona. You want a great team to win the national championship. Yeah, Pauline.

I have told my son in law and or yeah, my son in law to be at the time, and I said, Hey, there's a part in the song where there's out of one minute instrumental and when that happened, I want you to walk out, and I'm going to kind of ceremonially and you off and watch the rest of the song. I make it through walking her down the aisle. I know you're worried about that. I make it through that, no problem, because we're down to fifty people. It's like nobody there. I'm singing to her. I'm singing every word of the song. And here's my son in law walks out there and melt like a puddle. I literally can barely get to my seat, sit down and cry. Everybody's laughing at me. So good luck.
