<v Speaker 1>tonight's episode, we have Corey from Watoma, Wisconsin, and he
<v Speaker 1>had a terrifying bigfoot encounter. He was traveling on Highway
<v Speaker 1>C when he watched a massive figure walk out from
<v Speaker 1>his right to left, and he claims this could not
<v Speaker 1>have been any human being. As the huge creature crossed
<v Speaker 1>the road, it never once looked over at him. Corey
<v Speaker 1>decided to turn back around and investigate the area. On
<v Speaker 1>his way to look for any sign or evidence, he
<v Speaker 1>was confronted by a massive creature peeking out from behind
<v Speaker 1>a tree. Corey describes this encounter very vividly, and I
<v Speaker 1>was on the edge of my seat the entire time.

<v Speaker 1>bigfoot encounter from the state of Wisconsin. Corey, Welcome to
<v Speaker 1>Sasquatch Theory. How are you doing today.
<v Speaker 2>I'm doing well, thanks, Miguel.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's an absolute pleasure to have you on the show. Corey.
<v Speaker 1>If you would tell me a little bit about yourself,
<v Speaker 1>where you're from, and your experience from the very beginning beginning.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, sure, no problem. Well. I was born in Minnesota,
<v Speaker 2>a town called Brainerd, north central Minnesota. Grew up there
<v Speaker 2>for the first eighteen years of my life, and then
<v Speaker 2>I moved to Wisconsin in nineteen ninety six to a
<v Speaker 2>town called Stephen's Point for college and kind of just
<v Speaker 2>settled down and put down roots here in Wisconsin. So
<v Speaker 2>I've been here since ninety six in central Wisconsin, forty
<v Speaker 2>seven years old, four kids to keeping me busy, and yeah,
<v Speaker 2>just enjoying life in Wisconsin. I've always been kind of
<v Speaker 2>interested in paranormal and bigfoot and those types of things,
<v Speaker 2>but never really thought I would encounter one until I did.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's amazing. So what were you doing when you
<v Speaker 1>had this experience? If you could put me in your
<v Speaker 1>shoes and explain everything in full detail.
<v Speaker 2>Please, yeah, no problem to Gil. So this is occurrence
<v Speaker 2>happened back in mid October of twenty twenty three, so
<v Speaker 2>about this time of year, two years ago. The weather
<v Speaker 2>that day was a bit different. Today, I'm looking out
<v Speaker 2>my window and it's sunny and warm and bright. But
<v Speaker 2>in twenty twenty three, it was a really overcast, kind
<v Speaker 2>of drizzly, light rain on and off all day, mostly
<v Speaker 2>on I actually cut out of work early and went
<v Speaker 2>golfing with a friend of mine in a town called Watoma,
<v Speaker 2>again in the central part of Wisconsin. And so where
<v Speaker 2>I live is I'm about forty minutes from Motoma. I
<v Speaker 2>live forty minutes to the west, so I was traveling
<v Speaker 2>east to go golf. And it's a basically where I
<v Speaker 2>work in the Watoma area. So I have kind of
<v Speaker 2>a hybrid job where it's it's partly from home and
<v Speaker 2>then I have to go out and do some site
<v Speaker 2>visits and whatnot. So I'm pretty familiar with that area,
<v Speaker 2>and the route I take to and from there is
<v Speaker 2>pretty you know, I could pretty much do it with
<v Speaker 2>my eyes closed. It's familiar to me, and so we
<v Speaker 2>did just that. We went golfing for the second half
<v Speaker 2>of the day and golf through through the rain because
<v Speaker 2>it was just such a light rain. We didn't want
<v Speaker 2>to cancel. We're like, let's just do this. Or we
<v Speaker 2>don't have many more days left, you know, this fall.
<v Speaker 2>So we kept our plans and golfed and got a
<v Speaker 2>little bit wet, but not drenched. And we got done
<v Speaker 2>golfing about five pm. And my friend that I was
<v Speaker 2>golfing with lives in Watoma, so I had the travel
<v Speaker 2>home and he went home and dumped in my truck.
<v Speaker 2>I don't have this truck anymore, but it was a
<v Speaker 2>pretty new I think it was a twenty twenty two
<v Speaker 2>f one fifty and I liked that vehicle a lot
<v Speaker 2>and jumped in and just set the cruise once I
<v Speaker 2>got on the highway. So I was traveling west out
<v Speaker 2>of WATOMAA it's highway Sea. It's not a real busy highway.
<v Speaker 2>It's it's kind of wooded. There's a couple of small
<v Speaker 2>little farms, a few lakes, and it's it's fairly hilly.
<v Speaker 2>There's two real sharp turns we have to slow down
<v Speaker 2>just coming out of Watoma, So you're probably I was
<v Speaker 2>probably ten twelve miles out of town when I hit
<v Speaker 2>my cruise control. And like I said, so at this point,
<v Speaker 2>it's it's getting closer to about five thirty and with
<v Speaker 2>the overcast skies, and the drizzle. It wasn't real bright,
<v Speaker 2>but I could still see clear. It wasn't pouring, so
<v Speaker 2>I had pretty clear vision out in front of me.
<v Speaker 2>And once I came around the final kind of real
<v Speaker 2>tight turn, that's when I could accelerate and hit my
<v Speaker 2>cruise and radio's up. You know, I'm just getting ready
<v Speaker 2>to make the drive I've done a thousand times before.
<v Speaker 2>And so I get around this curve, and probably a
<v Speaker 2>few miles around the tight curve, I'm looking and there's
<v Speaker 2>a slight upward. It's a long hill, not a sharp hill,
<v Speaker 2>but kind of more of a flat hill that you're climbing,
<v Speaker 2>but kind of at a low angle right, and it's
<v Speaker 2>a real straight part of the highway, so I could see,
<v Speaker 2>you know, as far as I can see, it was
<v Speaker 2>just straight pine trees on either side to the east
<v Speaker 2>and west or north and south of me. And I
<v Speaker 2>look and I see a figure emerge on my right,
<v Speaker 2>so that would be the north side of the highway,
<v Speaker 2>and just kind of comes out of the pine trees
<v Speaker 2>and steps onto the shoulder, the part of the shoulder,
<v Speaker 2>and I'm going sixty miles an hour, give or take
<v Speaker 2>with the cuison, and my first thought was that guy
<v Speaker 2>is tall, and so I'm having to process quickly because
<v Speaker 2>I'm moving at it fast and it's basically on the
<v Speaker 2>highway at this point. As I'm going towards it, my
<v Speaker 2>next thought, after you know how tall this guy is
<v Speaker 2>is boy, they're dressed in all dark like there was
<v Speaker 2>no break in you shirt to pants to boots to hat,
<v Speaker 2>and nothing like you'd see a human, even a hunter
<v Speaker 2>if they were camouflaged out. I didn't see any breaks
<v Speaker 2>in color. It was just really dark. And then when
<v Speaker 2>the figure started moving from right to left across the highway,
<v Speaker 2>and I'm probably by the time it's moving across the
<v Speaker 2>highway a quarter mile from it, and I'm getting closer
<v Speaker 2>by the second, and then my brain is just trying
<v Speaker 2>to process the height and the way it was moving
<v Speaker 2>so quickly because I was coming upon it so fast.
<v Speaker 2>And then my next thought was, this thing's strides are enormous,
<v Speaker 2>because from where I first saw it on the shoulder,
<v Speaker 2>one step got it to the media in the middle
<v Speaker 2>kind of the dashmarks in the middle of the road.
<v Speaker 2>And then I'm starting to notice how it's moving right
<v Speaker 2>and it was so miguel. It's movements were so fluid
<v Speaker 2>that I'm thinking humans don't walk like that. And it
<v Speaker 2>wasn't running, it wasn't walking slow, but it just was
<v Speaker 2>taking very long strides and I was thinking how fluid
<v Speaker 2>they were, and it almost kind of glided, like I
<v Speaker 2>don't have a better word to describe its walking motion
<v Speaker 2>than gliding, because it really it moved effortlessly. It didn't
<v Speaker 2>as far as I can tell. As I'm getting closer,
<v Speaker 2>I'm trying to look for more detail, and I'm like,
<v Speaker 2>that's not a man. That's not a human. There's no way.
<v Speaker 2>It's kind of hard to judge height, but you know,
<v Speaker 2>just based on how high I'm sitting in my truck
<v Speaker 2>and where its head was, you know, it was every
<v Speaker 2>bit of between seven and eight feet, I would guess.
<v Speaker 2>So again I'm trying to process, who is this tall
<v Speaker 2>coming out of the woods that can move like that
<v Speaker 2>and glide like that? And then I'm starting it's dawning
<v Speaker 2>on me this is not a man. And then my
<v Speaker 2>next thought was to kind of look for where did
<v Speaker 2>they come out? So I looked right and I'm like, get,
<v Speaker 2>there was no driveway on the right. So you know,
<v Speaker 2>some people sometimes people grab their nail and scurry across
<v Speaker 2>the highway like that, but there was no break in
<v Speaker 2>the highway as far as driveways left or right. So
<v Speaker 2>it emerged from the woods on the right and it
<v Speaker 2>was just crossing to a spot where there was only
<v Speaker 2>pines and woods on the left. By the time I
<v Speaker 2>got up to where I was, I started slowing down
<v Speaker 2>at that point because I want to look. I'm getting
<v Speaker 2>close to it. And at that point when I started
<v Speaker 2>slowing down and I could still see it stepping down
<v Speaker 2>into the ditch on my left, the hair on the
<v Speaker 2>back of my neck all stood up, like it just
<v Speaker 2>it all hit me at once. You know, I'm processing
<v Speaker 2>early fast and it's just donning on me, like I
<v Speaker 2>know what this is. I got to get a better look,
<v Speaker 2>but by the time I could bring my vehicle to
<v Speaker 2>a stop, it was into the woods on my left.
<v Speaker 2>It disappeared and stepped into the woods. And to kind
<v Speaker 2>of describe the woods, it's mostly pine mixed in with
<v Speaker 2>some random oaks, and I don't know if there's maybe
<v Speaker 2>maples in there, but it's mostly pine with maybe one
<v Speaker 2>or two sporadic big oak trees in amongst the pines.
<v Speaker 2>Kind Of in that area where I was looking into
<v Speaker 2>but it's the undergrowth wasn't super thick, so I could
<v Speaker 2>see in there pretty clearly, which is kind of unusual.
<v Speaker 2>A lot of Wisconsin woods and forests are really the
<v Speaker 2>undergrowth is terrible, but here you it was pretty clear.
<v Speaker 2>So I'm looking into my left stop my vehicle. I'm
<v Speaker 2>in the lane, like, so I glanced at my river
<v Speaker 2>mirror make sure no one was coming up on me
<v Speaker 2>at full speed, which there wasn't, so I paused with
<v Speaker 2>my break foot on the brake. I'm looking into the left.
<v Speaker 2>I'm like, I should be able to see this thing
<v Speaker 2>like it just stepped into there a half a second
<v Speaker 2>maybe a second ago. I couldn't see anything moving in
<v Speaker 2>the woods. So then I kind of had a decision
<v Speaker 2>to make. Was my first impulse was just just go
<v Speaker 2>and I'm like, oh man, I got it, Like take
<v Speaker 2>a better look. I want to get it. Jump out
<v Speaker 2>of my vehicle and kind of peek in there from
<v Speaker 2>the ditch. And then the other thought that was going
<v Speaker 2>through my head was, boy, it's it's been wet, it's
<v Speaker 2>been missing and kind of drizzling all day. I want
<v Speaker 2>to see if I can find any evidence, like looking
<v Speaker 2>the shoulder for impressions, footprints and anything. I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>I just wanted more information, more evidence for my own mind,
<v Speaker 2>because at this point I'm like, am I going crazy?
<v Speaker 2>Like what was that? So what I did was I
<v Speaker 2>I'm in the right hand lane westbound. I have to
<v Speaker 2>get out of the highway to stop and get out.
<v Speaker 2>So I pulled my truck. I did a U turn
<v Speaker 2>in the highway, still looking nobody's coming either way, and
<v Speaker 2>I drive down into the ditch. Now I'm facing back east,
<v Speaker 2>but right at the spot where I saw it step
<v Speaker 2>into the woods, and so I park, I throw it
<v Speaker 2>in park, turn it off, and then I was opening
<v Speaker 2>my door and I was just going to jump out,
<v Speaker 2>and I'm like, we talked about a little bit before
<v Speaker 2>we started, hear Miguel. I'm a bowl hunter and avid hiker.
<v Speaker 2>I like to be outside and I always keep a
<v Speaker 2>firearm a pistol in my council just when I go
<v Speaker 2>hiking or bow hunting. I usually just put it on
<v Speaker 2>my hip. I have a consul carry, so something in
<v Speaker 2>the back of my heads like, just grab a pistol
<v Speaker 2>just in case and bring it. And I didn't really
<v Speaker 2>give it much thought. It was like one second decision
<v Speaker 2>just grabbed it. It's a SIG forty loaded up with
<v Speaker 2>some plus p rounds, so it's got some pop to it.
<v Speaker 2>But never in my thought process was like, hey, I'm
<v Speaker 2>gonna go pursue this thing and now I'm armed. It wasn't.
<v Speaker 2>It was more of like cautionary, like I just was
<v Speaker 2>a little nervous, so I figured I'd prefer to have
<v Speaker 2>it than not. So the other piece of this too
<v Speaker 2>is I was golfing and you know I was wearing
<v Speaker 2>I wasn't wearing jeans, nothing, no heavy clothing, you know,
<v Speaker 2>like a polo and khakis, and so I didn't really
<v Speaker 2>I wasn't really quipped to go walking through the woods
<v Speaker 2>and you know there's storms and stuff in there, but
<v Speaker 2>I didn't attack. So the pistols in holster right, just
<v Speaker 2>kind of cheap like a black Hawk nylon post holster,
<v Speaker 2>but I didn't take the time to thread my belt
<v Speaker 2>through and strap up. I just put it in my
<v Speaker 2>khaki's pocket with the holster on it, just so I
<v Speaker 2>had it by me. But it wasn't really like a
<v Speaker 2>quick draw situation that I was gonna be able to
<v Speaker 2>grab it, but it was with me, so then I
<v Speaker 2>had the courage. I'm like, I'm gonna step into the
<v Speaker 2>woods and just kind of take a few feet, you know,
<v Speaker 2>step in there a few feet and look around. And
<v Speaker 2>so first thing I did before I stepped in the
<v Speaker 2>woods was just looked down where I thought it crossed,
<v Speaker 2>and I was kind of looking for impressions, and surprisingly
<v Speaker 2>I didn't see any. I thought maybe I would see
<v Speaker 2>something like in the gravel part of the shoulder, for
<v Speaker 2>all I know, it probably cleared the gravel with its strides,
<v Speaker 2>but for a lot of reason, I didn't find any impressions.
<v Speaker 2>So that's kind of what made me go further in
<v Speaker 2>just kind of my head's down. I'm looking looking at
<v Speaker 2>the ground for disturbances, right, because when I stopped my truck,
<v Speaker 2>I really didn't you know, I looked into the woods,
<v Speaker 2>but I didn't see anything. So I'm like, at this point,
<v Speaker 2>I'm just looking down at the ground for footprints, impressions,
<v Speaker 2>the services. And I watched that way for probably ten
<v Speaker 2>twelve feet into the woods, kind of looking down, glancing
<v Speaker 2>up every now and then, but not more with my
<v Speaker 2>head to the ground. And just at that moment, I
<v Speaker 2>kind of like got in there ten to twelve feet
<v Speaker 2>and then again for the second time, the hair on
<v Speaker 2>the back of my neck went up. I'm like, you know,
<v Speaker 2>if you spend time in the woods, typically when that
<v Speaker 2>happens to you, or you feel that weird sense, you
<v Speaker 2>go on highlert right because you'rely something's around, something predatory.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know, you just get that sense. And I
<v Speaker 2>got it a second time. So then I really stopped
<v Speaker 2>looking at the ground. I stopped moving forward and walking,
<v Speaker 2>so I was quiet, and I looked kind of to
<v Speaker 2>my right a little bit, and then I started panning
<v Speaker 2>left and there was it was either an okra and maple.
<v Speaker 2>I didn't really look too closely at the tree, but
<v Speaker 2>it was one of the bigger trees on non pine,
<v Speaker 2>and right away, like my eyes caught something wrong with
<v Speaker 2>that tree situation. So I stopped and I looked closer,
<v Speaker 2>and I could see a head, a big black head,
<v Speaker 2>and one eye, one dark eye. I didn't see any whites.
<v Speaker 2>I just saw, like you, a brown or black eye
<v Speaker 2>looking out at me from behind the tree. And it
<v Speaker 2>would have been leaning to its left but my right
<v Speaker 2>that side of the tree, and I couldn't see anybody,
<v Speaker 2>just this eye because the tree was pretty wide, probably
<v Speaker 2>three four feet wide, and I'm like, bro, Miguel, I
<v Speaker 2>was frozen in fear. Like at that point, I didn't
<v Speaker 2>really know what I was looking at, but yet I did,
<v Speaker 2>and I didn't know what to do as far as retreat,
<v Speaker 2>you know, yell, scream, pull my weapon out of my pants.
<v Speaker 2>So I just kind of locked it's one eyeball with
<v Speaker 2>my eyes and we were looking at each other. And
<v Speaker 2>at that point, I had to make a decision. Right,
<v Speaker 2>I'm like, I'm not pulling my firem at this point,
<v Speaker 2>I'm going to retreat. Like in my mind, I processed
<v Speaker 2>like I'm just going to start backing up slowly to
<v Speaker 2>get more distance because it was probably another ten twelve
<v Speaker 2>feet from me that tree that it was behind, so
<v Speaker 2>I was not very far and I was terrified. So
<v Speaker 2>I'm like, I got to put more distance between me
<v Speaker 2>and this. Let's call it what it is now, a bigfoot.
<v Speaker 2>So I made the decision to take a step back.
<v Speaker 2>But as I did, I kind of instinctively reached my
<v Speaker 2>right hand into my right pocket and I unsnapped because
<v Speaker 2>the whole stri I use has it's a cheap holster.
<v Speaker 2>It just has a strap that goes across and it
<v Speaker 2>snaps on, and I was like, jeez, if this thing
<v Speaker 2>because I'm thinking, if this thing comes out from behind
<v Speaker 2>that tree and charges me, I want to have this
<v Speaker 2>this weapon at least out and be able to be
<v Speaker 2>pulled from its holster quicker. So in my pocket. I
<v Speaker 2>unsnapped it while I was taking my first like half
<v Speaker 2>step backwards, and as soon as anybody was you know,
<v Speaker 2>nose buttons and snaps, it makes an audible pop. Right,
<v Speaker 2>So when it came undone and the second that sound
<v Speaker 2>was audible to my ears, the bigfoot growled from behind
<v Speaker 2>the tree, and it was It wasn't like a loud roar,
<v Speaker 2>you know, you hear a lot of people's accounts of
<v Speaker 2>you know, like infra sound or that moves your chests
<v Speaker 2>like you can feel in your chest. It was more
<v Speaker 2>of a low like if you could picture an angry
<v Speaker 2>dog that you're kind of in trouble with that does
<v Speaker 2>the low kind of warning growl, like really low. It
<v Speaker 2>sounded like that, like a big dog, like a ferocious dog,
<v Speaker 2>like a guard dog, kind of like a low growl.
<v Speaker 2>And I'm like, oh crap, Like I don't know if
<v Speaker 2>it was the noise or if somehow it knew like
<v Speaker 2>I had a weapon and it was warning me not
<v Speaker 2>to pull it. I can only theorize on that, but
<v Speaker 2>for whatever reason, at that moment, it growled and then
<v Speaker 2>it leaned out further. And at that point I could
<v Speaker 2>see its left arms a left arm, yeah, left arm
<v Speaker 2>dangling from behind there, and like his left hip, so
<v Speaker 2>I could see maybe a fourth of his left side.
<v Speaker 2>And by the way, I'm looking up at this thing,
<v Speaker 2>so it was every bit of probably short of eight
<v Speaker 2>feet but between seven and eight. Even when I was
<v Speaker 2>getting some distance, so I took another step back. I'm
<v Speaker 2>kind of having to crank my head to look up
<v Speaker 2>at it. And uh. At that point, I it was
<v Speaker 2>everything I could do not to turn on and just run.
<v Speaker 2>But everything I've learned about being in the woods and
<v Speaker 2>things that can kill you is don't turn your back
<v Speaker 2>on them. Right, It's like a mountain lion or a
<v Speaker 2>big cat. So that was kind of in my brain, like,
<v Speaker 2>don't turn your back, don't run. So I really had
<v Speaker 2>to overcome that urge to turn and run to my truck,
<v Speaker 2>but I didn't, so, but I did pick up the pace,
<v Speaker 2>so then I started slowly back in a way. The
<v Speaker 2>problem was is it. You know, again, the undergrowth wasn't
<v Speaker 2>terribly thick, but there's there's still branches in weeds and thorns,
<v Speaker 2>and so I kind of had to glance back every
<v Speaker 2>now and then because I did not want to fall
<v Speaker 2>and in up on my back and being even more vulnerable.
<v Speaker 2>So I'm kind of trying to glance behind me, take
<v Speaker 2>a step, look at it. That was it only did
<v Speaker 2>the one growl, nothing else before that or after that.
<v Speaker 2>And as I backed away and I got out of
<v Speaker 2>the tree, so I could the trees and got to
<v Speaker 2>the ditch where my truck was. One at one point
<v Speaker 2>when I looked back at the ground and then I
<v Speaker 2>looked up, I couldn't see it anymore. So I don't
<v Speaker 2>know if it leaned back behind the tree to obscure
<v Speaker 2>itself all the way or what, or if it went
<v Speaker 2>behind the tree and left. I don't know because I
<v Speaker 2>couldn't see it once I got out to the ditch
<v Speaker 2>where my truck was, and at that point, once I
<v Speaker 2>didn't see it, I'm in the clear, basically out of
<v Speaker 2>the woods. I turned, I jumped in my truck. I
<v Speaker 2>went in the passenger side because I didn't want to
<v Speaker 2>go around. I jumped in my passenger side, climbed over
<v Speaker 2>my council hit you know, put it in drive. I
<v Speaker 2>hit the gas so hard I left. You know, it
<v Speaker 2>sprayed debris like rocks and grass and dirt, and I
<v Speaker 2>peeled up out of the ditch and just floorted, and
<v Speaker 2>you know, it was just a lot to process. And
<v Speaker 2>so by the time I get in my truck, I'm like,
<v Speaker 2>then you can kind of start processing, like holy moly,
<v Speaker 2>because at the time when I'm standing there with it,
<v Speaker 2>it's more like you're more safety focused. Right now, it's
<v Speaker 2>the point I'm driving home and like that, like I
<v Speaker 2>had goose from some of my arms the whole way home.
<v Speaker 2>I didn't know who to tell first. You know, I
<v Speaker 2>was just like, what all these things going through my head?
<v Speaker 2>Like half the people don't believe you when you tell
<v Speaker 2>these things. So it's just like I just had to
<v Speaker 2>kind of process it driving home and sit on it.
<v Speaker 2>And I told my girlfriend right away. She was the
<v Speaker 2>first person I told, because she's pretty open minded, and
<v Speaker 2>you know, she's she believes there's things out there, but
<v Speaker 2>she's not she doesn't listened to you know, the podcasts
<v Speaker 2>and stuff like I do. But I knew she would
<v Speaker 2>take me seriously and I could trust her and not
<v Speaker 2>mock me or laugh or say you're crazy. You know.
<v Speaker 2>She was the first person I went to, and yeah,
<v Speaker 2>she she believed me. She's like that, that's crazy, like
<v Speaker 2>you shouldn't have got it, you know, scolding you shouldn't
<v Speaker 2>have got out of your truck, that kind of thing.
<v Speaker 2>But man, I know I said a lot quickly, But
<v Speaker 2>that's pretty much it in a nutshell, all.
<v Speaker 1>Right, Corey. I appreciate you for sharing that with me,
<v Speaker 1>and it certainly sounds like a spooky bigfoot encounter. So

<v Speaker 2>stretch where I was that I would call them more
<v Speaker 2>like hobby. In fact, the closest residence to where this
<v Speaker 2>happened when I got in my truck, there's a little
<v Speaker 2>farm with a red barn that tucked back in the
<v Speaker 2>woods with several cows. But it's not like sprawling open fields.

<v Speaker 1>Yeah, and it makes sense that this creature was hanging
<v Speaker 1>out in the pine trees. Do you think you caught
<v Speaker 1>it off guard or it purposely crossed the road right
<v Speaker 1>when you were driving past that area.

<v Speaker 2>and I can only guess. But I'm glad you asked

<v Speaker 2>don't know people who have a lot of experience, you know,
<v Speaker 2>kind of tracking dayfoot or looking for it. We'll literally
<v Speaker 2>tell you you're not going to see them unless they
<v Speaker 2>want to be seen or they want you to see it.
<v Speaker 2>What's intriguing to me, Miguel, is that I didn't take
<v Speaker 2>my eyes off it. I tried not to blink from
<v Speaker 2>the first time I saw it the end before I
<v Speaker 2>got out of my truck. I didn't see it him.

<v Speaker 2>mail sense kind of like an alpha male sense. I
<v Speaker 2>didn't see any indications. But he never looked to his
<v Speaker 2>left at me coming at him at sixty miles an hour.

<v Speaker 2>So it wasn't like, hey, he's looking, there's a car
<v Speaker 2>coming and he was walking swiftly to not get hit.

<v Speaker 2>me because so when I parked my truck and I
<v Speaker 2>get out and it's quiet, I'm quiet. I didn't hear
<v Speaker 2>any noise, right, I didn't hear any footsteps, no rustlane.
<v Speaker 2>So what I can't figure out is if if he
<v Speaker 2>stopped behind that tree maybe when he heard my engine
<v Speaker 2>slowing down and stopping, or if he had gone further,
<v Speaker 2>further distance away and come back towards me to that tree.

<v Speaker 2>fact that he was there and I was so unknowing, right, like,
<v Speaker 2>I didn't know it was there until the last minute,
<v Speaker 2>and so the thought of him maybe coming back towards

<v Speaker 2>woods kind of spooks me.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, absolutely. It's hard to say if the creature took
<v Speaker 1>off and came back or if he was there the
<v Speaker 1>whole time. I would think that he was there the
<v Speaker 1>whole time. He just crossed the highway and or the
<v Speaker 1>road and went into the woods and was just hanging out.
<v Speaker 1>He wasn't expecting you to come back, and I think
<v Speaker 1>when that happened, it kind of threw him off. But yeah,
<v Speaker 1>it definitely sounds like these creatures, these beans, whatever you
<v Speaker 1>want to call them, know what a firearm is, because
<v Speaker 1>when you reach towards it, it definitely got territorial. And yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I mean they watch hunters, they see what we do
<v Speaker 1>out in the woods. So I have no doubt that

<v Speaker 1>breed during the fall time, particularly in October, so I
<v Speaker 1>feel like they get more aggressive that time of year.

<v Speaker 1>after the springtime in the early summer, where yeah, it

<v Speaker 2>road before and kind of stopped and trying to find
<v Speaker 2>the exact spot, and I know pretty close to where
<v Speaker 2>it is. And looking at that farm with some smaller animals,
<v Speaker 2>like I think it would have been, you can kind
<v Speaker 2>of see it through the trees if if it's not
<v Speaker 2>heavy foliage so spring and fall, you can see this
<v Speaker 2>farm better. I think where it was going was to
<v Speaker 2>the back side of that farm property, So you know,
<v Speaker 2>who knows. Maybe it's a coincidence it was just passing there,
<v Speaker 2>or it had some interest in that small farm. Could
<v Speaker 2>be you know, either way, I think.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, absolutely. I've taken reports where people claim a sasquatch
<v Speaker 1>was crossing the road right before it got dark, and
<v Speaker 1>they say it was heading from the big Woods to
<v Speaker 1>a farm property. So it makes me wonder if they're
<v Speaker 1>like looking for deer, turkey, or livestock.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I agree, it's certainly possible, or that's just an
<v Speaker 2>area he knows where if he needs a quick meal,
<v Speaker 2>i'd you know, again, I'll just steery. But it's interesting
<v Speaker 2>that of all the places he could be going in
<v Speaker 2>that area, it was pretty close to a red barn

<v Speaker 1>describe that more? Was it like Michael Jackson doing the
<v Speaker 1>moonwalk or was it like something supernatural or just fluently?

<v Speaker 2>what sticks out in my mind the most, even more
<v Speaker 2>than how it growled at me, as how it moved,
<v Speaker 2>because yeah, not with Michael Jackson moonwalk, because that's so
<v Speaker 2>like showy and intentional. It almost seemed like if it
<v Speaker 2>was on a cloud of air or it just so light.
<v Speaker 2>Even though this is a massive, tall creature, it just
<v Speaker 2>seemed like so effortless, like almost if its feet weren't
<v Speaker 2>touching the ground and it could just walk pushing off
<v Speaker 2>of the air in inach off the ground, kind of
<v Speaker 2>like just just slot. I don't know. Yeah, unbelievably smooth.

<v Speaker 2>going because I go to a lot of sports, a football,
<v Speaker 2>pro basketball, and it's like, if you watch a world
<v Speaker 2>class athlete move this, blew it away. I've never seen
<v Speaker 2>anybody that could stride like that with such grace. Yet
<v Speaker 2>I don't mass it defies physics in my mind. You know,

<v Speaker 2>think it was actually walking, But the way it moved

<v Speaker 2>three four at the most, So I kind of leaned in.

<v Speaker 2>There was no red, no silver, no gray, jet black almost.
<v Speaker 2>I mean again, I didn't. I only saw about a
<v Speaker 2>quarter of its left side. But when it leaned out
<v Speaker 2>towards the end before I got out of there, it
<v Speaker 2>was jet black and it looked almost shiny, like real.
<v Speaker 2>I didn't see any like birds or like mengy looking spots.
<v Speaker 2>It was a real dark, kind of pretty auburn black,
<v Speaker 2>real shiny, just looked healthy, like shiny hair.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. And could you see any of the features on
<v Speaker 1>the creature as far as what it looked like when
<v Speaker 1>it crossed the road or when you saw it behind
<v Speaker 1>the tree.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I couldn't. I mean I could, Okay, so when
<v Speaker 2>I went across the road, definitely an abnormally large head.
<v Speaker 2>Couldn't tell shoulder with because of the angle. And then
<v Speaker 2>long the legs were so long humans, aren't, I mean
<v Speaker 2>the legs were up it had a long torso too.
<v Speaker 2>But what stood out at me is how long the
<v Speaker 2>legs were. And I think that feeds into how it
<v Speaker 2>walked so smoothly because they were, you know, just one
<v Speaker 2>stride and then boom, he was four feet more over,
<v Speaker 2>like very long legs. When I was up closer and
<v Speaker 2>it was behind the tree, like I said, I couldn't
<v Speaker 2>see much. I couldn't see its mouth, but I saw
<v Speaker 2>it's his eye. And like I said, the eye was
<v Speaker 2>really big, bigger than a walnut, maybe even some but dark.
<v Speaker 2>The eyes were dark cause I kind of was looking
<v Speaker 2>for like color or the whites of the eyes, and
<v Speaker 2>I just saw like brownness and blackness in that one.
<v Speaker 2>I the one I saw the left arm very long
<v Speaker 2>to the knee, right around the knee length where the
<v Speaker 2>knee should be. I guess, very long arm.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. And what time of day did this encounter happen?
<v Speaker 2>It was right around five thirty PM, Okay.
<v Speaker 1>So getting dark. You said it was an overcast day,
<v Speaker 1>kind of drizzly.
<v Speaker 2>Yep, yep, And so it was. It was darker than
<v Speaker 2>it should have been. I mean that time of year,
<v Speaker 2>you know, sunset probably a little later, but it felt
<v Speaker 2>closer to sunset, just because it was so overcast and
<v Speaker 2>there was no sun peeking through. So yeah, right around
<v Speaker 2>five thirty. Because when I got in my truck and
<v Speaker 2>got back on the highway, I did. I looked at
<v Speaker 2>the clock and it was like five thirty four.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Could you smell anything when this creature grunted at you?
<v Speaker 2>I did not smell anything, surprisingly, and being that I
<v Speaker 2>was ten twelve, no more than fifteen feet away from it,
<v Speaker 2>I think I would have. But I did not smell
<v Speaker 2>a thing. Besides, you know, woods and trees.
<v Speaker 1>And the feeling that you got like something was off
<v Speaker 1>when you uped into the woods. Do you think that
<v Speaker 1>was purely due to the fear of seeing the creature
<v Speaker 1>prior to that, or do you think maybe it produced
<v Speaker 1>some sort of infrasound because I know you said you
<v Speaker 1>didn't get that feeling when it grunted, But do you
<v Speaker 1>think that feeling was infrasound because I heard it can
<v Speaker 1>produce like intense fear, anxiety, things like that.
<v Speaker 2>It's possible, you know, I would call it like my
<v Speaker 2>spidy sense, and something set off my spidy sense. Whether yeah,
<v Speaker 2>whether it was emitting anything that's basically subaudible, possible or
<v Speaker 2>I have maybe sensed like predator presence, like and I'm
<v Speaker 2>not saying it was trying to be a predator towards me,
<v Speaker 2>but let's face it, if something can kill you with ease,
<v Speaker 2>it's a predator to a human, right. So I just
<v Speaker 2>I think, yeah, something happened, and there was no like
<v Speaker 2>I didn't hear like a twig break or a scuffle
<v Speaker 2>against the tree. It was nothing audible that you know,
<v Speaker 2>normally squirrel makes a noise. Look, it was nothing. There
<v Speaker 2>was nothing that drew me to it audibly, But I
<v Speaker 2>just sensed it, and based on what I just saw
<v Speaker 2>on the highway, it could only be one thing, right,
<v Speaker 2>Like if I was out bow hunting and then I
<v Speaker 2>got that sense once in a while there's mountain lions
<v Speaker 2>around here, super rare, but I would assume, yeah, like
<v Speaker 2>something's watching you. So it was like that something's watching

<v Speaker 2>a half, it was late in November, we had my
<v Speaker 2>girlfriend and I had something terrifying right outside my front
<v Speaker 2>deck in the woods. If you want me to talk
<v Speaker 2>about it, I can. I don't have a touch. Like
<v Speaker 2>it's not as detailed as that story, but there was
<v Speaker 2>definitely something there because we got photos of it.

<v Speaker 2>even a little bit before. And we were getting ready
<v Speaker 2>to go to her daughter's basketball game out of town.

<v Speaker 2>was just changing clothes, getting ready. I hear her pull up,
<v Speaker 2>No big deal, we do this all the time, right.
<v Speaker 2>She just walks in and she left the car running
<v Speaker 2>cause we were just she was gonna grab me, We're
<v Speaker 2>gonna I was gonna jump in and go, and uh,
<v Speaker 2>I don't know. I was just putting on some older
<v Speaker 2>in her clone or something. Because she comes in she
<v Speaker 2>was ready. I said, yep almost. She's okay. We got
<v Speaker 2>to because it's a quick turnaround time to get to
<v Speaker 2>these jav games. They start so early. She I'm gonna
<v Speaker 2>go back on the car, I'll drive. You want to
<v Speaker 2>drive home. I'm like good. So she went out and
<v Speaker 2>she was getting back in the vehicle. I was no
<v Speaker 2>more than five seconds behind her, maybe three. I think
<v Speaker 2>I was actually putting my shoes on, and my phone
<v Speaker 2>starts ringing and it's her. And my driveway is literally
<v Speaker 2>ten feet from my front porch where I'm standing getting
<v Speaker 2>my shoes on inside the door and she's I'm like what, Like,
<v Speaker 2>I'm on my way out. What you What's going on?
<v Speaker 2>And she I can just hear fear in her voice.
<v Speaker 2>She's like, get out here now. I'm like, what's going on?
<v Speaker 2>Like now, I'm pausing, like do I what? Trying to

<v Speaker 2>was by, and she's got her phone sticking out the
<v Speaker 2>window and she's kind of panting it around towards the
<v Speaker 2>woods that are in front of my house. So now
<v Speaker 2>I'm looking. Immediately looking towards the woods, She's like, something's
<v Speaker 2>out there, like be careful. I'm like, so I'm looking.
<v Speaker 2>Of course, I'm I'm a dude, right, you gotta be
<v Speaker 2>tough for your girls in distress. So I go kind
<v Speaker 2>of walking across the cement driveway pad towards where she's
<v Speaker 2>looking and trying to point her camera, and she's like,
<v Speaker 2>don't go over there, and I'm like, well, I don't
<v Speaker 2>see anything. And then she kind of sat out and
<v Speaker 2>I'm like looking, and I walked all the way right
<v Speaker 2>up to the edge of the woods where she was
<v Speaker 2>kind of pointing at I'm like, I don't see or
<v Speaker 2>hear anything I want. You're talking about it. So I
<v Speaker 2>go get in and she was I'm not getting out.
<v Speaker 2>She was, you're driving, and I'm getting in the I'm
<v Speaker 2>right in the back seat to the game. I'm like, okay,
<v Speaker 2>you don't want to step out to come around. There's
<v Speaker 2>two feet to the front door. Passenger like okay, fine,
<v Speaker 2>I'll drive and then she's like so she brings up
<v Speaker 2>her She was video recording when she had her phone
<v Speaker 2>out the window, and she's looking back on it, and
<v Speaker 2>I'm like, what now, I'm just driving, trying to get
<v Speaker 2>more information, like what did you hear? What did you see?
<v Speaker 2>Something growled? It was a growl I cannot describe. I've
<v Speaker 2>never heard in my life before. I don't know what
<v Speaker 2>it was, but it was loud, and she actually said
<v Speaker 2>kind of she could feel the rumble because she wasn't
<v Speaker 2>quite in the vehicle yet when she heard it. And
<v Speaker 2>then she's looking through her video because it was probably
<v Speaker 2>like two minutes long, and she's looking and then she's like,
<v Speaker 2>see here here she holds it. Of course, of course,
<v Speaker 2>I'm trying to drive and look at her phone, which
<v Speaker 2>is not safe. But you can clearly see two large
<v Speaker 2>glowing eyes in her video, and it's dark, so you
<v Speaker 2>can't see a whole lot. You can kind of see
<v Speaker 2>a silhouette. It looked quadruped. It looked like something on
<v Speaker 2>all fours and at the first time I'm looking at
<v Speaker 2>the video, you can see one big eye, but then
<v Speaker 2>it clearly turns its head and you can see them
<v Speaker 2>both because it's looking back at her in the vehicle.
<v Speaker 2>And she said, that's about when it growled, when I
<v Speaker 2>could see those eyes, that eye shine. And granted the
<v Speaker 2>headlights are not pointed at this animal. The way the
<v Speaker 2>vehicle was pulled in, they were pouring towards the house.
<v Speaker 2>This creature would have been more back into her right
<v Speaker 2>to the vehicles right, so there was no light shining
<v Speaker 2>to reflect that. I can think of my house windows
<v Speaker 2>probably wouldn't do that. The light's coming out from there.
<v Speaker 2>So I'm like, okay, this is crazy. You did get something.
<v Speaker 2>There's something there. Then we got to the basketball game
<v Speaker 2>and then I'm like, then I could park and actually
<v Speaker 2>look at it better, and I'm like, I didn't want
<v Speaker 2>to go in. I'm like, looking at this video and
<v Speaker 2>see it's there. I'm like, yeah, there's something there. And
<v Speaker 2>what I did is I just went into her settings
<v Speaker 2>and I brought the tint up a little bit so
<v Speaker 2>it wasn't quite so dark because it's just a lot
<v Speaker 2>of blackness and these two going eyes, and then I
<v Speaker 2>can when I had a little more gray and a
<v Speaker 2>little lighter tint, I can see the outline of Definitely
<v Speaker 2>it looks Miguel to me like a huge feline cat.
<v Speaker 2>But I'm talking like I don't from what I can tell,
<v Speaker 2>because I know that area well, Like I can look
<v Speaker 2>at my window right now and see that space where
<v Speaker 2>it was in the woods. I see it every day.
<v Speaker 2>I know kind of the dimensions of where the tree
<v Speaker 2>gaps are, where there's this and that out there, and
<v Speaker 2>it's filling a gap that's really long. And I can
<v Speaker 2>see when I brought that tin up, it looks like
<v Speaker 2>a sleek, feeline body. I can kind of see where
<v Speaker 2>a head would be. And then I think where I
<v Speaker 2>freeze framed, and I took like a screenshot you can
<v Speaker 2>see one of the going ice because I wanted to
<v Speaker 2>get that side view of it screenshot, and I do
<v Speaker 2>have it still, and it's long. This thing is I
<v Speaker 2>would have had to guess seven to eight feet long.
<v Speaker 2>Now nothing more I could do. Right, we got the video.
<v Speaker 2>She spooled. She won't even come out to my house
<v Speaker 2>for like a week. I had to walk her in
<v Speaker 2>and out of my driveway because she was so terrified,
<v Speaker 2>and I went out there. I did put a trail
<v Speaker 2>camera up I think two nights later, maybe the next night.
<v Speaker 2>Didn't get anything for about three nights. So then I
<v Speaker 2>looked at the skill shot. I screenshoted because I want
<v Speaker 2>to try to get the dimensions like length, and I'm like, well,
<v Speaker 2>I can see this little bush and I can see
<v Speaker 2>this tree that it's between a little small pine, nothing big,
<v Speaker 2>and that's the gap where it is. You can clearly
<v Speaker 2>see the out line of it. And I measured with
<v Speaker 2>a tape measure. I had to kind of hook it
<v Speaker 2>onto the one tree and then pull it and it's
<v Speaker 2>it's the gap where this thing was is eight feet
<v Speaker 2>and it filled the whole entire gap. And to me,
<v Speaker 2>it's just like, it's really coincidental that it was about
<v Speaker 2>a month and a half after my big foot encounter.
<v Speaker 2>And honestly, like I've showed it this the video and
<v Speaker 2>the screenshot where I brought up the tent to several people,
<v Speaker 2>some of my friends who are boone hunters. No, everybody
<v Speaker 2>agrees there's something there, but they're always like, well, a
<v Speaker 2>mountain lion crept in on you, guys, you know, they're
<v Speaker 2>not unheard of in Wisconsin. I'm like, I I just
<v Speaker 2>have a hard time with that because an eight foot
<v Speaker 2>long mountain lion with and here's the other thing. The
<v Speaker 2>reflection was white. It was like there was no color.
<v Speaker 2>It wasn't amber red. It's a white eyeshine, bright white.
<v Speaker 2>But they're even eye shaped, I mean, so there's no
<v Speaker 2>color in them. And I'm like, I don't know that
<v Speaker 2>a mountain lion. It just it doesn't fit. Like I've
<v Speaker 2>had in the counter with a mountainline in Canada once
<v Speaker 2>and it's it's much different. They don't usually creep in
<v Speaker 2>by someone's driveway with a running vehicle, stand there and
<v Speaker 2>grow like they're a little more elusive. Now I'm not
<v Speaker 2>an ammal biologist. Could it be, yeah, but it just
<v Speaker 2>the size seems unheard of for a central Wisconsin potential
<v Speaker 2>mountain lion. I don't believe a lot of them are
<v Speaker 2>that big in that bold. So that's kind of where
<v Speaker 2>I'm at with that one.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that definitely is spooky, and I wonder what it was.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I don't know if it's a coincidence because
<v Speaker 1>you had this encounter two months before that and a
<v Speaker 1>lot of people talk about the hitchhiker effect with the
<v Speaker 1>sasquatch or being marked or tagged by them, and that
<v Speaker 1>pretty much means they'll follow you to different areas and
<v Speaker 1>it doesn't seem normal or possible, like it almost like
<v Speaker 1>it's supernatural. But yeah, the the fact that a growl
<v Speaker 1>at her had like these silver, white looking eyes, that's
<v Speaker 1>that's spooky. And I've heard reports in Missouri where these
<v Speaker 1>creatures have like white glowing eyes. It sounds like Bigfoot.
<v Speaker 1>But also Michigan has a huge number of dog man sidings.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not saying that's what it was, but that's always
<v Speaker 1>something to consider. And also bigfoot can traverse on all fours.
<v Speaker 1>I think mainly they're on all fours and when they
<v Speaker 1>get bigger, they can walk on two feet, but you
<v Speaker 1>never know.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's interesting, you know all those well you know what, Honestly, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>the thought of maybe dog man on all fours across
<v Speaker 2>my mind, and it's just I don't have enough detail
<v Speaker 2>in that stream shot to you can see something's there
<v Speaker 2>with a long body. But honestly, I didn't give a
<v Speaker 2>lot of thought Miguel to a bigfoot on all fours
<v Speaker 2>and possible, you know, again without having that much definition,
<v Speaker 2>and you know, to see this exact true shape. Maybe
<v Speaker 2>well my eyes are seeing that looks more feline. Could
<v Speaker 2>be a quadruped bigfoot. It's possible. It's just really weird.
<v Speaker 2>It was so close to my sighting, and honestly, like
<v Speaker 2>you can't really see that she was seeing things because
<v Speaker 2>she didn't see anything with her own eyes. She heard
<v Speaker 2>a girl that scared her. That was unlike anything she's heard.
<v Speaker 2>She dives into the vehicle, sticks her phone out and
<v Speaker 2>catches something. It wasn't like, oh you misidentified, you know,
<v Speaker 2>there's something there. And then I actually went and looked
<v Speaker 2>up like mountain lion growl sounds you know, online and
<v Speaker 2>played them for her. And I just tried to find
<v Speaker 2>the most like pissed off mountain lion girl I could
<v Speaker 2>find that was audio recording. I'm like, did it sound
<v Speaker 2>like this? She was kind of, but she thought it was.
<v Speaker 2>She thought the mountain lion that I played for her
<v Speaker 2>that you know, somebody else recorded was a little too
<v Speaker 2>high pitched. She said, it's similar in like how it
<v Speaker 2>hit low to high, but it stated in a lower
<v Speaker 2>frequency is what she thought she was. And I'm convinced
<v Speaker 2>I think it doesn't see it just seems I don't know,
<v Speaker 2>it doesn't really. It kind of defies how animals behave
<v Speaker 2>and just being there and then But here's the other
<v Speaker 2>question I have too. In my online she was still
<v Speaker 2>recording it had just happened seconds, within seconds of me
<v Speaker 2>being out there. I didn't once I got through my door,
<v Speaker 2>I walked right to the edge of the woods. Like,
<v Speaker 2>wouldn't I have heard something moving away from us then?
<v Speaker 2>Because it wasn't there when I got there, I should
<v Speaker 2>have heard. It's pretty thick. You wouldn't just go through
<v Speaker 2>there without making a noise. It's like dead pines kind
<v Speaker 2>of laying crisscross. There is no way I think could
<v Speaker 2>have got shot through there without me hearing it as
<v Speaker 2>soon as I stepped out of the house. That's the
<v Speaker 2>other thing.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, absolutely, I feel like the creature was there the
<v Speaker 1>entire time, even when you went out to investigate it.
<v Speaker 1>Did you ever step into the woods or did you
<v Speaker 1>just leave.
<v Speaker 2>It be I stepped to the edge of the woods,
<v Speaker 2>not into Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I don't blame you, man, I'm glad you didn't.
<v Speaker 1>It could be that same creature that you encountered. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>if there is a supernatural thing behind them. I feel
<v Speaker 1>like it would follow you. And the Native Americans say
<v Speaker 1>that these things are physical creatures and they're also supernatural,
<v Speaker 1>so I feel like it's possible. I'm sure other people
<v Speaker 1>listening would think it's something entirely different. But this is
<v Speaker 1>pretty close to where you had that sighting, too, so
<v Speaker 1>it's not too far out there.
<v Speaker 2>Correct, Miguel, That would probably be exactly because I was
<v Speaker 2>about a third of the way home somewhere in there,
<v Speaker 2>maybe a quarter of the way home. So from my
<v Speaker 2>house to where my big foot encounter happened would be
<v Speaker 2>no more than thirty minutes, like, so thirty miles thirty
<v Speaker 2>minutes somewhere in there. I mean, you got to think
<v Speaker 2>that would be nothing for you know, a big foot
<v Speaker 2>to cover that kind of ground. If they can mark you,
<v Speaker 2>it could be here. That's not even far at all.

<v Speaker 1>sitting there, like maybe it growled at her because you
<v Speaker 1>pursued it in the woods, and it's like, I'm gonna

<v Speaker 2>a little another little twist. My girlfriend is Native American,
<v Speaker 2>and so, like you said, her. Her mind is pretty
<v Speaker 2>open to a lot of this stuff, you know, in
<v Speaker 2>this realm, and I think even more so now that
<v Speaker 2>that happened to her. But I tried talking with her too.
<v Speaker 2>I even brought it up a few weeks ago, like gosh,
<v Speaker 2>that and what was that? And I in my mind,
<v Speaker 2>I just don't see how it could have been random. Right,
<v Speaker 2>So ociting happens to me a close encounter, and then
<v Speaker 2>to her within a ninety day timeframe, it just doesn't
<v Speaker 2>seem haphazard or random to me. But she didn't. She
<v Speaker 2>didn't really want to talk about it. It's kind of
<v Speaker 2>like it terrifies her. She believes in all that stuff.
<v Speaker 2>She doesn't want it mess with, so she kind of
<v Speaker 2>shuts down those conversations. But doesn't mean I'm not kind
<v Speaker 2>of wonder to bout them still to this day.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Absolutely. The Native Americans say to never talk about them,
<v Speaker 1>and I mean, I can understand her reasoning behind that,
<v Speaker 1>And it seems like when you do talk about it,
<v Speaker 1>it conjures this stuff up and it brings them around.

<v Speaker 2>Yeah? It does. And honestly, the only place early bow
<v Speaker 2>hunting I was in We talked about this before, but
<v Speaker 2>north central Minnesota and family has property there, so I
<v Speaker 2>travel a long way. I haven't really both hunted locally
<v Speaker 2>since then, and honestly I used to because there's a
<v Speaker 2>lot of I can drive five miles from my house
<v Speaker 2>and find there's a lot of like timber paper companies
<v Speaker 2>that grow timber out here that they let us. They'll
<v Speaker 2>let you hunt on, they'll post it as I forget
<v Speaker 2>what they deem it, but they get tax breaks because
<v Speaker 2>they open it to the public and let you hunt
<v Speaker 2>on it. So it's I can hunt anywhere around here.
<v Speaker 2>And I'm kind of wondering subconsciously if I haven't been
<v Speaker 2>in this area because of what happened, because it is
<v Speaker 2>in the back of my mind, And I mean I'm
<v Speaker 2>not scared, like I'll still hike. I do always. I
<v Speaker 2>always hike with a pistol. It's just what I do.
<v Speaker 2>More so even I mean, there's crazy people everywhere, right,
<v Speaker 2>I've had some weird human encounters in the woods, Like
<v Speaker 2>you just don't want to get caught with your pants down.
<v Speaker 2>So that's my theory. But I have hunted locally less,
<v Speaker 2>and it could be subconsciously in part because of what
<v Speaker 2>what I encountered.

<v Speaker 2>because the answer is no. I honestly, I know a
<v Speaker 2>lot of people that do hunt and get out around here,
<v Speaker 2>you know, into the woods, and if they have, they
<v Speaker 2>haven't reported it or talked about it. I did report
<v Speaker 2>that first encountered to the bfro O and mister Moneymaker
<v Speaker 2>is it matter? Chris Matt Moneymaker, he called me. He
<v Speaker 2>was very interested in it. We we didn't do like a
<v Speaker 2>record or anything. He just wanted the details. But like
<v Speaker 2>like you, he said, you know, with the location of
<v Speaker 2>that farm and the trees and stuff. He said that
<v Speaker 2>probably is a crossing point, or he's familiar with that area.
<v Speaker 2>He had a lot of theories and but no, I don't.
<v Speaker 2>That's kind of what shocked me too so much about
<v Speaker 2>all this is I don't really yeah, I don't hear
<v Speaker 2>about any big Foot sightings around here, be it seems
<v Speaker 2>like kind of a more up north thing. I guess
<v Speaker 2>in my mind, I didn't think they'd be. You know,
<v Speaker 2>in central Wisconsin, Ram there's a lot of little towns
<v Speaker 2>that break up the countryside. Right there's town after town,
<v Speaker 2>and then you'll have fields and woods and towns, and
<v Speaker 2>there's a lot of people around. And it's not like
<v Speaker 2>we're not off the grid here like you would be
<v Speaker 2>up on the Canadian border or boundary waders or any
<v Speaker 2>of that. So it really shocked me. Like the proximity
<v Speaker 2>to that highway, which you know, it's a county highway,
<v Speaker 2>people travel it every day and houses around, like he's
<v Speaker 2>right in the middle of all that, you know.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, absolutely. Like I told you off air, I've
<v Speaker 1>had experiences where people would never think Bigfoot would be
<v Speaker 1>hanging out at And I mean, I'm talking about like
<v Speaker 1>strips of woods and farms between like state highways and interstates,
<v Speaker 1>and it didn't it didn't make sense. But once once
<v Speaker 1>I experienced it, I mean, it opened up a whole
<v Speaker 1>new realm in my mind, and it just confirmed to
<v Speaker 1>me that these things can hide in plain sight and
<v Speaker 1>definitely avoid people. I mean, obviously there are still woods
<v Speaker 1>between these highways and interstates, but not a ton. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>definitely enough for like deer in Turkey, and you know,
<v Speaker 1>for a person to hide. But still, I mean you
<v Speaker 1>would think that they would only be like in the
<v Speaker 1>up of Michigan or like North Minnesota. But if there's
<v Speaker 1>farm land around and there's still strips of woods, they
<v Speaker 1>can certainly be there. And yeah, I looked up the
<v Speaker 1>area on a map where you had your sighting, and
<v Speaker 1>there's definitely a ton of woods. I mean, it's easy
<v Speaker 1>to look at a map and say, oh, there's not
<v Speaker 1>enough woods until you're standing in there walking through.
<v Speaker 2>Isn't that the truth? Yeah? Exactly, Yeah, yeah, right off
<v Speaker 2>a highway County Sea. There's a little town called Deerfield
<v Speaker 2>that's not far from there, but I Google Earth checked
<v Speaker 2>it on Google Earth too, as far close as I
<v Speaker 2>could get to. Like you said, it kind of all
<v Speaker 2>looks the same, even when you' zooming on Google Earth.
<v Speaker 2>But when I look at google'st and I kind of
<v Speaker 2>zoomed out and look at that whole area to the
<v Speaker 2>let's see to the north where it was coming from.
<v Speaker 2>There's a lake. There's a small lake with like a
<v Speaker 2>county park that's not not well known. I mean I
<v Speaker 2>drive by there all the time. I never see people
<v Speaker 2>out there. Maybe some locals us it once in a while.
<v Speaker 2>He was coming from that kind of that lake in
<v Speaker 2>that county little park that's around the lake area, and
<v Speaker 2>then he was headed across the highway to where there's
<v Speaker 2>more farms in rural you know, homesteads. Like again, why
<v Speaker 2>wouldn't you be there? There's just there's not a lot
<v Speaker 2>of people out there. It's a small, little rural area.

<v Speaker 1>Wisconsin and they definitely don't believe in Bigfoot. But that's

<v Speaker 1>No, yeah, absolutely. I mean as a videoographer photographer, like
<v Speaker 1>I've missed a lot of shots. For example, Like I
<v Speaker 1>used to try to self film my bowhunts, and there's
<v Speaker 1>many times when a deer came out that I just
<v Speaker 1>couldn't move quick enough to get the camera ready, turn
<v Speaker 1>it on and film it. There's a lot of times
<v Speaker 1>where something would happen. I would see a bunch of deer,
<v Speaker 1>and after the encounter, I would think, why the heck
<v Speaker 1>did I not film that? Like I have a camera
<v Speaker 1>on me, and that's why I'm out here, Like I
<v Speaker 1>didn't even think to film it, just because like when
<v Speaker 1>something happens unexpectedly, you're just so focused on it and
<v Speaker 1>you're trying to figure out what's going on. By the
<v Speaker 1>time it happens, it's like it's too.
<v Speaker 2>Late, exactly. And if the game we're used to seeing
<v Speaker 2>and being around like deer or whatever, even mountain lions,
<v Speaker 2>things like that, they can be as elusive as they
<v Speaker 2>can or hard to capture the right moment. You know,
<v Speaker 2>based on the way how I saw this bigfoot move it,
<v Speaker 2>it surprises me that we see them at all. Because
<v Speaker 2>it's almost mystical, Like it just defies the laws of
<v Speaker 2>mechanical physics that we know of, like the way we
<v Speaker 2>move and our joints move, and it doesn't. There's there's
<v Speaker 2>something different about how they move. And and that's just
<v Speaker 2>talking in our plane. Like if you do believe in
<v Speaker 2>the paranormal side, they might have. You know, a lot
<v Speaker 2>of people talk about them appearing and disappearing and reappearing,

<v Speaker 2>you don't know what's lurking. And I don't want to
<v Speaker 2>be paranoid, but I think it's good to be tuned
<v Speaker 2>in in my opinion.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, absolutely, And you know that these things are
<v Speaker 1>out there without a doubt. And maybe one day your
<v Speaker 1>kids or your grand kids will say, hey, tell us,
<v Speaker 1>tell us a story, and you can set them on
<v Speaker 1>your lap and say, well, one day I encountered a Bigfoot.

<v Speaker 2>dog man down in Elkhorn. I go down there. I've
<v Speaker 2>been down there about four times on There's a property
<v Speaker 2>owner down there who if you if you know him,
<v Speaker 2>and he'll let you out there and kind of poke around.
<v Speaker 2>I've done that a few times, even at night. I
<v Speaker 2>was just on there last weekend and honestly like it's
<v Speaker 2>a hot spot like he has. There's people down there
<v Speaker 2>with so much evidence, videos, pictures, and I've been down
<v Speaker 2>there four times and nothing not like so here. I
<v Speaker 2>am like traveling, you know, staying over night and making
<v Speaker 2>it a point to go look for a cryptid and
<v Speaker 2>I have. I mean what, we found some footprints, but
<v Speaker 2>he's got thousands of them that you know, they're in
<v Speaker 2>soft dirt, could be a lot of things. They're they're abnormal,
<v Speaker 2>that is it. I saw some footprints in some dirt,
<v Speaker 2>but nothing. So it's like when I go out actually
<v Speaker 2>intentionally looking with a small group of people who know
<v Speaker 2>what they're doing, not even a peep. So it's kind
<v Speaker 2>of weird how it works.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, absolutely, this stuff will happen when you least
<v Speaker 1>expect it. Even if you're out there researching it, it's
<v Speaker 1>still going to happen when you're not ready.
<v Speaker 2>Yep. Well, when I was there this past weekend, we
<v Speaker 2>had thermal, we had night vision, we had all kinds
<v Speaker 2>of none of it mine, but there's some people that
<v Speaker 2>brought some. I spent hours looking through it, scanning spots
<v Speaker 2>where that you know, quote unquote hot spots. I didn't
<v Speaker 2>see a thing, So I think I think there is
<v Speaker 2>something to them revealing where and when and to whom
<v Speaker 2>they want to possibly and a lot of times it's yeah,
<v Speaker 2>when you least expect it.
