Now Here's Matt Jones welcome back. 00:01:06 Speaker 3: It is our number two Kentucky Sports Radio. 00:01:09 Speaker 4: If I'm nine two eight oh twenty two eighty seven, uh, text machine is seven seven two s four five two five four. We uh getting ready Kentucky and Nichols starts at seven. 00:01:20 Speaker 5: Uh. 00:01:20 Speaker 4: It is on ESPN plus or SEC plus or at least according to Shannon on YouTube, if you uh search for illegal streams. 00:01:32 Speaker 3: We uh. 00:01:32 Speaker 4: You know, I always like to do Ryan information about the school. Right, Drew gave us the basketball report yesterday. Yes, I like to tell you about the university. 00:01:42 Speaker 1: Okay. 00:01:43 Speaker 3: The problem is for Nichols, it is very hard to find anything about them. It may be. 00:01:51 Speaker 4: Well, I have a couple things. I'll tell you what I'll do mine, then you add whatever. Okay, it's in Thibodeau, Louisiana. Now I found a lot more of about Thibodeau then I did about Nichols. Would you like to know a couple of things about Nick Thibodeau? Bryan, Yes, absolutely, Okay. 00:02:09 Speaker 3: So here we go. Shannon will appreciate this. 00:02:11 Speaker 4: It's been referenced in a number of country songs, including Jerry Reid's. 00:02:16 Speaker 3: Song Amos Moses. Do you remember that song? 00:02:21 Speaker 6: You know that a lot on the show. Yeah, I'll have to find the lyric the line. 00:02:24 Speaker 4: But apparently he says something about Thibodaux, Louisiana. 00:02:29 Speaker 3: How's that? He talks a lot through that song, right. 00:02:31 Speaker 6: Held losing I'm going to get Amos. 00:02:37 Speaker 3: He says, the Gators going to get you James with the stump. 00:02:42 Speaker 4: Apparently it's also mentioned in Hank Williams song John Balayah down on the Bayou. 00:02:47 Speaker 3: Right, all right, so you got two songs, uh. 00:02:53 Speaker 4: People from Thibodeaux include who just a man who just passed away? Kirene Lacy, the football player for LSU, you know, the one that just died in the in the car wreck. A former Supreme Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court, Edward White. 00:03:10 Speaker 3: But you didn't know that, did you, Ryan? 00:03:12 Speaker 1: I missed out on that one. 00:03:16 Speaker 3: Okay, what's your favorite Supreme Court justice? 00:03:21 Speaker 7: Ryan? 00:03:22 Speaker 1: I'll thorough good, Marshall thorough good, yeah, th good, Yeah, yeah. Sander Dale O'Connor, she's just she was up there pretty high. 00:03:29 Speaker 3: Well why did you like Why did you like them? 00:03:32 Speaker 1: Because they were there forever? They were there for like when I was in school till just recently. 00:03:37 Speaker 3: Well, thirdo Marshall I think died in the mid nineties, so it wasn't really recently, but otherwise otherwise I think that's right. And then that's really all I've got. There's not a whole lot about about Nichols or Thibodeaux. Now, Drew, did you find other things? 00:03:52 Speaker 8: I have a few things. You're right, very very limited in what's going down in Tippodeau. It was named the best small town in Louisiana seven years ago. I guess it lost that title, but seven years ago it was. It was rolling. The Manning Passing Academy has been at Nickels State since two thousand and five, so every year that's interesting. 00:04:12 Speaker 3: So that's when they have it. 00:04:14 Speaker 8: Is many, many, many great NFL quarterbacks started at the Manning Passing Academy, so they all know where it is. It's also the. 00:04:22 Speaker 4: Only dude we know why they picked there. They could have been conceivably gone anywhere. Why would they pick Thibodaux Louisiana? 00:04:29 Speaker 8: You think I actually tried to do some digging on that and couldn't find a clear answer. It's even called Manning Field at uh Nickels State. You know, they don't have much for the connection there otherwise okay, And it's the only school in Louisiana with a four year culinary degree where you could actually just go get a degree in gumbo and cooking jambalaya and red beans. 00:04:48 Speaker 4: I bet they've got good food there if they haven't, if you get to cook Louisiana food and a colony like I bet that. Now I feel like we do our trip down south. We might have to go Thibodeau. 00:05:01 Speaker 8: Should we should definitely pop in. I have two more basketball notes that I think we'll find interesting. That's about the extent of how it's It's an hour from New Orleans, about an hour fifteen from Baton Rouge if you're driving, so just to show you where it is there. On the basketball, they have a new player who played for Billy Gillespie last year, Nick Krass. He should start, but he was from Tarlet in the last two seasons. 00:05:24 Speaker 3: He had some stories. Yeah, yeah, I'd like you should interview him, you know what. 00:05:34 Speaker 8: I'll try to do that tonight if they make him available. And just last season they beat LSU, so you know, not like a not a pushover. The roster has changed a little bit, but they did beat LSH that's a little concern. 00:05:49 Speaker 3: All right, Well, there we go. 00:05:52 Speaker 4: But nevertheless, all right, so let's let's do a couple of news things before we get back to the phones. 00:05:58 Speaker 3: Did you see Craigs enter yesterday, Ryan, He got on a press conference. He got up on a table, Yes he did. 00:06:07 Speaker 4: He stood up on a table, held his arms out and begged the UK fan base to pack Memorial Coliseum for their game Sunday against Tennessee. Did you love that move? 00:06:19 Speaker 1: I personally kind of liked it. I don't care if he if he's supposed to be the respected head coach. I just like the excitement in his dedication to trying to get people to come watch his team because he's the best coach on campus or the best team on campus, and people need to get out there to see him. 00:06:35 Speaker 8: So I'm all for it. 00:06:35 Speaker 1: I'm glad. 00:06:36 Speaker 3: I don't just like it, Shannon, I love it. We wouldn't have talked about his press conference otherwise, right, This was he understood the way to get people to care about this volleyball game and the press conference. 00:06:47 Speaker 4: Get on the table, right, stand on your hands. If you have to anything to get attention. He stands on the table, says please come out on Sunday. I hope we packed the place now. They deserve it. And and uh, I think that was a great move by Craig Skinner. Gets to get the notice. 00:07:04 Speaker 2: Got the Skinner swag going on there, number two team in the country. Get out there and support them. They got Tennessee coming up. They gott to drown out that Tennessee orange with blue. 00:07:11 Speaker 4: Yes, all right, just gonna warn people here for a second. For those of you that get a little triggered about such talk, you might want to walk away for two minutes. 00:07:20 Speaker 3: Uh. Today is election day, it is all right. Now, we don't do we have any elections in Kentucky. 00:07:27 Speaker 1: I don't know of one. I didn't see one sign. I didn't see any pole boo signs this morning. I didn't see anything. 00:07:32 Speaker 3: I assume we don't have one. 00:07:35 Speaker 4: Does anybody know of any election anywhere in Kentucky because I don't. 00:07:38 Speaker 3: I didn't hear of any. If they did, they didn't publicize it very much. No. 00:07:44 Speaker 6: I think schools are in so. 00:07:45 Speaker 4: Yeah, all right, so no election here, but we have some elections. I'm gonna give you your election day what to watch for, right, Okay, Hey, let's do it. The first biggest thing is the mayor of New York. Have you followed this race at all? The people running for mayor of New or because it is hilarious and really there's a guy in there that you all need to know. 00:08:05 Speaker 3: Have you followed it at all? 00:08:06 Speaker 1: One of them is is it Cuomo? With one of them? 00:08:09 Speaker 3: One of them is Cuomo? Andrew Cuomo. 00:08:12 Speaker 4: That's uh, you know he was He was governor during you remember, even for a while, right, Okay. 00:08:19 Speaker 8: Then there's the guy, the Zoron. I don't know how to say his name. He's the one that keeps popping up on my social media. 00:08:26 Speaker 4: He's probably gonna win. His name is Zoron, mom Dommy. He's only thirty one years old. He kind of ran a social media campaign and he took off, and so a lot of people were worried because he claims to be like a socialist and he's probably gonna win. He's the other But that's not the one I want to talk about, Shannon. I want to talk about the third guy. Yeah, you, especially you Shannon, need to look this guy up. 00:08:49 Speaker 6: I'm looking at him. 00:08:50 Speaker 3: His name is Curtis is it Silwa or Sliwa? S Ali or. 00:08:56 Speaker 4: Whatever you want to go with you. If you've not fought this guy, you need to do. 00:09:01 Speaker 3: Some research on him. 00:09:03 Speaker 4: He wears a red beret everywhere he goes. Why because he created the Guardian Angels. Do you remember the Guardianes Back in the day, they would like so this is a crazy story. 00:09:16 Speaker 3: He was working at McDonald's, okay. 00:09:19 Speaker 4: And I guess his McDonald's got robbed in the Bronx or whatever, and so he got a group of McDonald's employees to agree that after their shift every night, they would ride the subway to protect people. Now, they did a lot of stuff that was not good, so I'm not saying that like that that should be praised because apparently they became like a little rogue they called you've heard of him? 00:09:42 Speaker 3: They were big in the eighties, Rye right, the Guardian Angels. 00:09:45 Speaker 8: Huge huge. 00:09:47 Speaker 3: I think he started it from what I understand. But he also has a crazy life. 00:09:51 Speaker 4: He was riding in the back of a cab once and well, first of all, he had a radio show. 00:09:57 Speaker 3: This is partly why I want to talk about him. He was like us. 00:09:59 Speaker 4: He had a radio and he would talk trash about the mafia. So Shanny would come on the air and be like John Gott he's killing people in the Bronx. 00:10:08 Speaker 2: Right, I'm not doing that. 00:10:11 Speaker 3: Well, that's the thing. He just kept doing it. 00:10:13 Speaker 4: Every day he would go on the radio and he would talk trash about the mafia, and so eventually, you know what they wanted to do, Shannon, They wanted to kill him, right, So he called the cab once and they the mafia instead pick went and picked him up and act like they were the cab. 00:10:30 Speaker 3: Ooh, they got him in the cab. They shot him a few times while he was in the cab. 00:10:37 Speaker 4: The dude break. One of the shots, breaks the window of the cab. He jumps out of the window of the. 00:10:43 Speaker 3: Cab at forty five miles an hour and rolls down the road and gets away from him. 00:10:49 Speaker 1: My goodness, story, Wow, like crazy story. 00:10:54 Speaker 4: The man is insane, but like in an entertaining way. Well, he is the Republican nominee and he's actually he runs like every time because the Republican never wins, but this time he's actually gotten some traction and it is probably gonna get like twenty percent of the vote. But if you ever get a chance, Drew, you need to read the story about that guy. It's a I don't think he should be the mayor, but he's a fascinating. 00:11:19 Speaker 6: What's your mayor done? Is your mayor gotten shot in the back of the cable? 00:11:23 Speaker 3: Well, our mayor in Louisville has that's true. 00:11:26 Speaker 6: That's true. 00:11:27 Speaker 4: So uh, but my point is, uh, you need to read about him. So that's the that's the race today. Through going on with the guy who got shot in the bronx. 00:11:37 Speaker 8: It seems like it wasn't that long ago in politics, and it'd be like, oh, this person went to Harvard, this person went to jail. Look, Cowan tells that they are. Now we've got guys getting shot five times, climb climbing out of cabs. 00:11:47 Speaker 3: Times changed a little bit, times changed, that's exactly right. 00:11:49 Speaker 4: And then there are other races, and I think there's a couple of governor's races, et cetera. 00:11:54 Speaker 3: And then Ryan dick Cheney died this morning. 00:11:57 Speaker 1: I heard that this morning. 00:11:58 Speaker 3: Former vice president under George W. Bush. 00:12:01 Speaker 4: They say Ryan the most powerful vice president in the history of America in terms of that George Bush handed him so much to do that he was the most powerful vice president. And his the movie about him what's the name Vice? I think is the name of it. It's a really really good movie, if you ever get a chance. He passed away this morning. 00:12:21 Speaker 1: As well, and unfortunately for me, my one memory is, did he accidentally shoot somebody on a hunting trip? One time? 00:12:28 Speaker 6: We talked about that, I think, didn't we on this show? 00:12:30 Speaker 9: Oh? 00:12:30 Speaker 3: Yeah, he accidentally shot his friend in the face. 00:12:32 Speaker 1: Yeah, on a hunting trip, that of Dick Cheney. 00:12:35 Speaker 4: Yeah, he didn't die, but he did accidentally shoot his friend in the face. Loves shooting talking about today in terms of the election. So rest in peace to Dick Cheney. Who's up next, Peggy, Peggy, go ahead, Peggy morn. 00:12:49 Speaker 10: Guys, good morning. 00:12:50 Speaker 11: I'll have a complaint, okay about Cameron Mills. Okay, I think he is so rude to Gable. 00:13:03 Speaker 3: You mean you mean Dave Baker. You mean Dave. 00:13:05 Speaker 11: Baker, Yeah, Jack Baker. I'm sorry. Yes, he is always interrupting him, he shouts, he says the rudest thing. And I would love to go back to when we had about Richie Oscar Oscar. 00:13:31 Speaker 10: Or whoever, but anybody. 00:13:35 Speaker 3: Anyway, So I agree with you that they interrupt that he interrupts a lot but doesn't. It feels like Dave Baker interrupts him too. It feels like they yell at each other a lot, though, don't they. Yeah, So why is it just Cameron's fault? 00:13:50 Speaker 11: Because I think he disrespects him. He disrespects a lot of people. 00:13:59 Speaker 3: Okay, he you're anti Cameron. 00:14:03 Speaker 7: Yes, I am? 00:14:04 Speaker 3: Are you pro Dave? Yes? Okay? All right, well thank you. Peggy, Ryan responds. 00:14:12 Speaker 1: I think, uh, Dave Baker's got a sweetheart there and Peggy there, Peggy taking up for her man, taking up for. 00:14:17 Speaker 8: Dave Baker, except she thought he was Dick Gabriel. Who's being disrespectful to Dave Baker, Cameron Mills or Peggy. 00:14:25 Speaker 4: Cameron interrupts him, and Peggy thinks he's Dick Gabriel. 00:14:29 Speaker 1: And then we're gonna have Cameron Mills slander here on the shoulders for you. 00:14:32 Speaker 2: Cameron and Dave are like the two muppets, the two judges that set up in the balcony and just arguing, bicker back and forth. 00:14:37 Speaker 4: That's true when they go at each other. They really do go at each other. Like I assume Drew. 00:14:45 Speaker 3: That they like each other, But sometimes if you listen, you wouldn't know. 00:14:50 Speaker 8: Is it is it a bit you know? I hear it too. Is it just part of their I don't know, a charm but their chemistry or did they really think, oh, I gotta go sit down with him? 00:15:00 Speaker 3: Do you Ryan? You know them both better than I do. Do they like each other or not? 00:15:04 Speaker 1: They one like each other? It's more of just that's how they are, that's their bit. 00:15:07 Speaker 3: Why do they like each other? 00:15:09 Speaker 4: Like people give me a hard time for what I say to you, but we clearly have affection. 00:15:15 Speaker 3: I don't hear the affection with the two of them. 00:15:18 Speaker 1: I don't know. That's just you know, in this day and age of media, you gotta screaming holler. It seems like on every ear show you don't have to. But they they one hundred percent like each other. That is total, just part of the act for the pregame show. 00:15:30 Speaker 4: I can tell one person, Shannon that does not at least with Cameron. She likes Dick Gabriel eighty seven corn Brad Hemp. Maybe those two guys need some corn bread, Hemp, don't you think? 00:15:44 Speaker 1: I think so? 00:15:45 Speaker 4: Some summies for some Seltzers that'll relax them, make them say, hey, you know what we're chill. 00:15:52 Speaker 3: There's a game Tony between Kentucky and Nichols. What do you think, Cam, that's what they should do. 00:15:56 Speaker 4: Cornbredhimp dot com promo code ks are up to thirty percent off. You can they can help you sleep, they can help you relax, or a Shannon will tell you can drink the Seltzers and you'll be just completely mellow. It is cornbread Hemp and cornbreadhamp dot com. We'll take a break, very back's KSR. 00:16:14 Speaker 1: There it is there. 00:16:15 Speaker 3: You go forty five minutes from eastern Thibodeaux, Louisiana. So it's not Thibodeaux. It's Thibodaux Thibodeaux. H is silent. Uh. I'm nine eighty seven, Drew. I'm just gonna tell you Peggy ain't alone in her feelings. Text machine has lit the text machine has lit up Dave Baker. A lot of people with sympathy for Dave Baker. 00:16:43 Speaker 4: I don't ever hear this. I mean we talked about it like a year or two ago about how they argue. But he's hitting ramped up to another level or something. 00:16:50 Speaker 3: Drew, because there's a lot of people with with some Cameron thoughts and apparently the Peggy was probably talking about Rex, not Oscar, because did it before Cameron. 00:17:01 Speaker 8: Okay, I you know, I get to ROMP about an hour before tip off, so I'm missing most of it. I only hear the ten to fifteen minutes from Cass Bar to downtown, so I'm not as well versed in it. But i know it exists. You know you can even I even hear it in the in what little bit I get before each game. 00:17:18 Speaker 3: I about to read a few of these. 00:17:19 Speaker 4: One person writes, Peggy's not wrong when you guys in the pregame show. I just start hearing Cameron yelling and it stays in my mind until I go to sleep. 00:17:27 Speaker 3: That night. 00:17:32 Speaker 1: Over the top. 00:17:34 Speaker 4: What that's what they said? One person writes, Cameron yells at Dick Dick. Actually they used that for a different sentence. 00:17:42 Speaker 3: Okay, Cameron yells at Cameron yells at Dave so much. 00:17:50 Speaker 4: I feel bad for him, and I used to think Dave was the person that interrupted. He stands no chance against Cameron. Another person says, though I'm team Cameron, Dave always acts like he knows basketball and he doesn't. Cameron has to put him in line. Well, it sounds like these people have strong feelings. 00:18:08 Speaker 3: Drew. 00:18:09 Speaker 4: That's good, right, that means the show you know people have strong feelings. 00:18:13 Speaker 8: Yeah, some of them even know the names of the host, which is which is always good. Cameron does, especially now in the Pope era, add some perspective playing for Patino in that era, that that is that is unique and that Dave can't you know, match, But I can't like when thet bickering. 00:18:32 Speaker 3: I cannot believe how many people are writing in about this. Well, because they had a couple of Peggy Peggy has tapped a nerve, tapped a vane in the UK fan base that I did not know existed. 00:18:43 Speaker 1: They had a couple what we call him dust ups in the past couple of years that where they appear to really get mad at each other, but then they said afterwards, you know, it's just debating. They're just debating a topic on the show. I don't think they're really mad. 00:18:56 Speaker 3: At each other. You don't think or you don't know. 00:19:00 Speaker 1: I don't think. 00:19:03 Speaker 3: Who's up next? 00:19:04 Speaker 1: Madison? 00:19:05 Speaker 3: Madison? How are you? How many questions? 00:19:08 Speaker 9: I got two of them? Matt, Okay, Well, you all were talking about the start of the college basketball season. What's the most exciting game on you? But do you think it'll be the Pope and Patino game? 00:19:23 Speaker 3: Yeah? I think so. I think just just for the sort of symbolism of them playing each other, I think it's Pope and Patino. That's what I would say, just for that reason. I don't know if it'll be the best game. 00:19:35 Speaker 4: I mean, the game I'm worried about losing the most is the one next week to Louisville. 00:19:39 Speaker 3: I actually think that's. 00:19:40 Speaker 4: The hardest game in our non conference schedule because we may not have a full team and we're playing a true road game. So if you're asking me the game, I think it'll be the most exciting, it would be Saint John's. But if you're asking me the game I'm worried about the most, it's probably Louisville. 00:19:56 Speaker 9: And then two, how many how many fans do you think will show up for the UK Florida football game? 00:20:04 Speaker 3: Appreciate the call? Yeah, I don't know, Drew. I mean, it probably won't be full, but i'd expect it to be. What do you think about like the Texas game? Maybe a little bit fewer. 00:20:16 Speaker 8: Yeah, I don't think it'll be close to full. And with the Texas game you had visiting fans. I don't know if Florida fans are going to be here in November with no Keenland and everything else going on, But with the win, I think they're going to avoid a disastrous situation. I thought if they had gotten killed at Auburn, this was going to be the statement game. But I think some fans are just eager to see what they can do next, and really supportive of Bowlei and the young guys who have stepped up and looked like they still want to finish this season strong. 00:20:42 Speaker 4: I think it'll be a good crowd, right, I mean, I don't know, probably not the Texas game, probably more. 00:20:47 Speaker 3: Than Tennessee, less than Texas. Would you put it like that or no, I would. 00:20:52 Speaker 1: I mean, despite the growing apathy that's happened the last couple of years, our fans has still shown up to all these home games. They haven't won any, but they've showing up. And you're right that the Texas crowd was good. The Tennessee crowd was good, and I think this Florida crowd may. 00:21:05 Speaker 3: Still like what's the weather supposed to be? 00:21:08 Speaker 8: I haven't looked last I looked like think it said like mid forties. I didn't see much about any rain or anything. 00:21:14 Speaker 4: Well, for comfort level, that's you'd want you you don't want it to be cold, but to beat Florida, you might want it to be cold because they haven't played a game in this temperature in years for Florida. 00:21:25 Speaker 1: I don't even know how I wanted to be freezing cold though. That's on that sideline for Florida. Actually, when they come up here in November. 00:21:31 Speaker 3: Who's up next, Matt, Matt, Go ahead, Matt, Hey. 00:21:35 Speaker 7: Guys, chilling out my guarden in the barefooted in the day shine, going to do my daily meditation. After the show, I've got a comment and two questions real. 00:21:45 Speaker 3: Quick, you get two three? 00:21:50 Speaker 7: Okay, Well I'll do a comment and then a question. 00:21:54 Speaker 3: Yeah. 00:21:55 Speaker 7: I was talking about goat yoga yesterday. It really is my head. I did it in Orlando, Florida, and you get to pick which go you want, and I picked the smallest one. But the whole time I was worried about it, you know, going number two on me or trying to eat my herd or like that. 00:22:15 Speaker 4: Yeahs about what I do stuff with Shannon. So I understand exactly what you're talking about. What's your question? 00:22:23 Speaker 7: How do you think we can match up to Louisville if we at least have one of our point. 00:22:29 Speaker 3: On I haven't seen him really play. 00:22:31 Speaker 4: I didn't watch the game with Sacramento State, you know. I watched a little bit of their game against Kansas and they kind of got run off the floor. 00:22:39 Speaker 3: But I don't know to what extent exhibition game, what that matters. 00:22:43 Speaker 4: I mean, it beat Sacramento State or whatever, South Carolina State or whatever by eighty points last night, So I appreciate the call. They've got a lot of depth. They probably you know, they might be a little bit more athletic at the starting positions than we might be a little better off the bench. But I don't really know. I mean, I think it's gonna be an unknown. We're gonna go in there and anything can happen. But for me, you gotta tell me. Are the point guards playing. If they're playing, we got a chance. If they're not playing, I think I would probably go with Louisvill. 00:23:17 Speaker 8: Drew, do you agree, Yeah, I gotta get those guys back. It's hard to read anything. Louisville had sixty points in the first half last night and. 00:23:25 Speaker 3: That team played, they were terrible. We'll be right back. 00:23:29 Speaker 8: TJ. Smith, personal injury attorney called TJ. He'll make them pay now. 00:23:33 Speaker 2: More of Kentucky Sports Radio presented by Stockton Mortgage. 00:23:37 Speaker 6: Here's Matt Jones. 00:23:39 Speaker 3: I love this song, Shannon me O Miyo Son of a Gun on the bio. 00:23:46 Speaker 4: That's right, that's a great song. Hank Senior crawlfish Pie. I am excited when we do our trip to South I'm gonna make you go get some food with me. 00:23:56 Speaker 3: Ryan in Louisiana. 00:23:57 Speaker 4: Would you say if you were to say what state has the best food, does Louisiana win? 00:24:06 Speaker 1: Well, if you like that kind of food. I'm not that crazy about Cajun food, but. 00:24:11 Speaker 3: They just have to be Cajun. Just everything like like they have. 00:24:15 Speaker 4: You know, it's like a mix of Southern and then Cajun. 00:24:19 Speaker 3: You're just you're not You're not buying it. 00:24:21 Speaker 1: I'm not. 00:24:22 Speaker 3: So what would your state be? Then? What would your state be? 00:24:25 Speaker 1: I like like seafood, I'd probably pick I guess probably Florida. 00:24:29 Speaker 6: They do have good seafood. 00:24:31 Speaker 1: Get niceafood restaurants down. 00:24:32 Speaker 3: There, though. Yeah, I mean you have to like seafood. 00:24:36 Speaker 2: Yeah, New York you would says got the best as far as like just everything you want. 00:24:40 Speaker 3: New York would have everything. See, I would break it. 00:24:43 Speaker 4: I would go Louisiana for me personally number one if you like seafood, like Boston has really good seafood, especially like you know Maine. 00:24:55 Speaker 3: Do you like lobster, Ryan, Yes? 00:24:57 Speaker 1: I do? 00:24:58 Speaker 3: Okay, So the main is where you want to go for lobster? We've been there. No, you're a foodie. What would you have, Drew? 00:25:06 Speaker 8: Oh me, Louisiana is high in the conversation. Probably my number one. Main's close. I did my own lobster catching last summer. But then loving Mexico and Mexican food, I would need to get close to Mexico. So I might even include like Texas for tex mex or California as a third. 00:25:23 Speaker 3: See you and I are in the same page. 00:25:25 Speaker 4: I mean I probably would say Louisiana and Texas would be two of my top Shannon's right, New York has everything, but there's not like a definitive New York food Shandon. 00:25:36 Speaker 3: It's just got everything you would want. 00:25:38 Speaker 6: Yeah, you know, pizza is a big thing that what do you. 00:25:40 Speaker 4: Consider to be the worst food what worst state for food? Like when you think of I would be like, I would never want to eat food there. 00:25:47 Speaker 1: Indiana hurts me, hurts. 00:25:52 Speaker 3: I mean that's not a bad call. 00:25:53 Speaker 2: Like West Virginia would be everything fried, but I mean I kind of like fried food. 00:25:57 Speaker 8: But yeah, their little pizza rolls very overrated. And I hope someone from West Virginia hears that they're telling me here. 00:26:04 Speaker 4: I think you're kind of right about West Virginia because Kentucky has a lot of the same stuff, but it doesn't feel as quite as heart clogging. 00:26:13 Speaker 6: Yeah, like West Virginia, they just gave up Indiana. 00:26:16 Speaker 4: Those Indiana is a good one because it's Midwest and cheerly speaking, I'm against Midwest, except they have great beef in the Midwest. But I don't think does Indiana have beef? 00:26:29 Speaker 8: Yeah, what's their food beef? 00:26:32 Speaker 4: But if I'm gonna get beef and corn, I'm gonna go to Iowa or. 00:26:35 Speaker 8: One Steve Grisham just right over here, I'm. 00:26:39 Speaker 4: Gonna go to not Chalan, Like why am I going? Why am I going to Indiana for anything except sadness. 00:26:45 Speaker 1: My mom's deviled eggs. 00:26:47 Speaker 4: Yeah, but I mean your mom doesn't sell those. I mean, like it's just at her house. I don't think the whole country. I don't think we can all go to her house. 00:26:54 Speaker 8: And Shannon learned to love those in Florida, So you can't even give those Indiana. 00:26:58 Speaker 6: That's right. 00:26:58 Speaker 8: I can't think of it in a food at all. I can't either restaurant. 00:27:04 Speaker 4: Yeah, well they have that one place and everybody likes in Indianapolis the steakhowst Almos. 00:27:10 Speaker 1: But I mean there's some really good like Amish restaurants. I like, it's kind of different. 00:27:15 Speaker 8: I think you're answering our question. 00:27:17 Speaker 1: Yeah, have you have been the right places? The Hobsteak. 00:27:20 Speaker 4: I'm gonna say you think I'm exaggerating. There have not been many topics in recent weeks and have gotten more comments than this. 00:27:27 Speaker 3: Cameron, Dave Bakers. 00:27:29 Speaker 1: Pro or Con, I mean pro Dave Khan, Cam. 00:27:36 Speaker 4: Cameron needs to work on his pr I'm not I'm just saying there's a lot of Cameron negativity. One person writes, Mad, I'd like to hear you host a show with Cameron. Neither of you would be able to speak from having cut off the other one. 00:27:55 Speaker 6: Talking over each other. The whole show. I kinda would like to hear that. 00:27:59 Speaker 4: See, I don't listen to it, so I didn't realize. I mean, we had this conversation a couple of years ago, because didn't one of them like walk out? 00:28:06 Speaker 1: They had they got another had a little dust up one time. That guy sounded like I got a little heated. Did somebody walk out? I don't somebody walked out? I think, or somebody's telling me people walked out. 00:28:16 Speaker 3: Do you remember. 00:28:18 Speaker 1: I don't remember they got that bad, but I think they went to commercial break. Billy Billy may have been running the board that day. He's saying it right, I. 00:28:26 Speaker 4: Don't put it on Billy Billy. He don't listening listen to R trying to throw Billy under the bus. This is not on Billy. 00:28:34 Speaker 1: He can answer the question and what happened that, Yeah. 00:28:36 Speaker 3: But he's you can't do that. 00:28:39 Speaker 4: There's kind of a you know, there's an implicit you don't you know, you don't you don't talk. 00:28:44 Speaker 3: About that stuff. 00:28:46 Speaker 8: But we're not affiliated. 00:28:48 Speaker 3: They went to commercial once, Is this right? Ryan? They went to commercial once and people thought one of them might not return. 00:28:55 Speaker 1: Maybe that's what it was. I don't think anybody really walked out, but they went to commercial and settle it during the commercial break, and I don't remember what the dust up was about. I remember they were kind of yelling at each other. 00:29:04 Speaker 3: You know. I actually used to host that show, Shane, Yeah, she did. Yeah, I hosted it with Oscar for a few years. 00:29:10 Speaker 6: I love yell at each other. 00:29:12 Speaker 3: Nah, not at all. I loved it. Like sitting there with Oscar. 00:29:15 Speaker 4: I felt like I was talking with my grandpa and we were just I would with this was and we were doing it during the the really good Cow years. 00:29:23 Speaker 3: We did it. 00:29:23 Speaker 4: He and I did it from twenty twenty thirteen to twenty sixteen or seventeen. I got it was they took kicked me off of it when I started doing Hey Kentucky, they wouldn't let me do it anymore. But we got I know, we did it during the thirty eight and one run, and uh, I loved it. I love doing it with him. We talked about stuff. He'd bring up players from the past. He was so good with callers because a lot of the callers wanted to ask him about Like I love doing it with us. That's some if you're talking about some of the stuff that gave me the most joy, that pregame show with Oscar and the connection that gave me to you know, I mean I listened to Oscar with my grandfather years ago when he did it, and getting to do that and that was that was awesome. Remember we would do the pregame show right there in the lobby, so I could run in there and do the other one. 00:30:19 Speaker 1: You would do our pregame show, do the network pregame show, and then do the sideline during the game broadcast. 00:30:24 Speaker 3: I did during the game and the postgame show. It was there's too much me probably in the end. Who's next? 00:30:32 Speaker 2: Nick? 00:30:32 Speaker 3: Nick? Go ahead? Nick? 00:30:35 Speaker 12: Hey, guys, how's it going at the game day? So watch the video Tyler put out yesterday. I think it was the season prediction video. I'm sure y'all seen that, so y'all participated in it. I'm curious of you four. Who's got the hottest hot take about this season? 00:30:54 Speaker 3: The hottest hot take about the season. 00:30:56 Speaker 12: I appreciate like Tyler said that, like we're gonna lose to Arkansas Bud Walton and then we're gonna turn around and beat him in the SEC Championship. 00:31:03 Speaker 3: I like that one. I actually think that's a really good pick by. 00:31:06 Speaker 1: That's a good one. 00:31:10 Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, I appreciate the call. 00:31:11 Speaker 4: I would say, well, I'll tell you what, I'll use Tyler's and do it a different way. I think we lose Tuesday at Louisville and then beat them in the Elite eight drew to go to the final four. 00:31:23 Speaker 8: Oh the old uh double dip on Louisville like we did a couple of times. 00:31:27 Speaker 3: I think we're gonna lose to Louisville this. I think we'll lose to Louisville in the regular season next week, but then we'll beat them to go to the final four. Uh in the tournament. What's what about yours? 00:31:37 Speaker 8: I'm trying to come up with one right now. I did the video and don't even know what I said. 00:31:42 Speaker 1: I've been to show with somebody. I said they'd lose the Louisville they'd losed it cal Perry and he lose a Patino, but yet make it to the final four. 00:31:51 Speaker 3: Oh you got us lose into all three of them. 00:31:53 Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, wow. 00:31:55 Speaker 4: So you got a Kelsey Patino col triple header of losses. 00:32:00 Speaker 1: Yet they still make a run and go to the final four. So the losses won't interesting. 00:32:04 Speaker 3: That is a hot take. I like that with Shandon. 00:32:05 Speaker 2: Do you have one Kentucky loses to Nichols tonight but then goes to the Final four. 00:32:10 Speaker 6: I don't have one. I have no I don't have one. I really don't have one. 00:32:17 Speaker 3: All right, Jordy, do you remember what yours was since you actually did it? Uh? 00:32:22 Speaker 8: No, I have no idea. I'm Charlie. I don't have them losing a non conference game, so I can't come up with a hot one they. 00:32:27 Speaker 3: Have Wait, man, hang on, you have them losing no non conference games. 00:32:31 Speaker 8: Yeah, well, well there you go. There's my het they win the non conference I do need people to know that Steven asked me these questions after the Purdue game that night, so I might have even said forty er. I was in a different headspace when I when I. 00:32:45 Speaker 4: Did this hot take losing no non conference games, students starts, storts, go ahead, starts. 00:32:54 Speaker 13: Hey, fellas mad, I got some statistics for you, Okay, okay, statistics.
