<v Speaker 3>the SmackDown review. First off, really quickly, let's talk about
<v Speaker 3>the anniversary episode of Raw. I don't know what you
<v Speaker 3>guys thought, but geez I thought it was an absolute bust, honestly,
<v Speaker 3>just a load of crap. The Icy Belt is back
<v Speaker 3>on Becky, and I guess that is to set up
<v Speaker 3>for aj Lee at Mania. But we didn't see aj
<v Speaker 3>Lee at Raw, which was the first disappointment. Punk holds
<v Speaker 3>onto his title. Thank god. Ria and Eo defeat the
<v Speaker 3>Kabooki Warriors to take the gold again, which is great.
<v Speaker 3>We got no Jericho and the whole thing was decidedly meh.
<v Speaker 3>Let's get to SmackDown, which I have watched live tonight
<v Speaker 3>as it was from Berlin and it was on the
<v Speaker 3>air at seven pm in the UK tonight, So hurrah.
<v Speaker 3>We kick off tonight and we get Drew wandering aroundside
<v Speaker 3>wandering around outside in the snow of Berlin, and Cody
<v Speaker 3>more sensibly on the inside. Interestingly, Cody, he got massive
<v Speaker 3>booze in the arena when he was shown on the
<v Speaker 3>Big TV. We also have Mellow he is continuing the
<v Speaker 3>open challenge, and we've also got Juliet versus Bliss for
<v Speaker 3>the Woman's the US title, which sounds interesting. So it
<v Speaker 3>looks like we are to have the free Stages of
<v Speaker 3>Hell as the main event and it will be commercial
<v Speaker 3>free for the last hour. That's good news. First out,
<v Speaker 3>we've got Randy and the old Decibel reader is back,
<v Speaker 3>and to be fair, the crowd, as always with the
<v Speaker 3>European audiences, sounds pretty damn fine. As you guys know,
<v Speaker 3>I love the passion of the European audiences, especially as
<v Speaker 3>recently the US crowds have been a bit quiet. We
<v Speaker 3>get Wade and Tess, reminding us that last week Randy
<v Speaker 3>basically did the world of favor by shutting up the
<v Speaker 3>Miz with two rkos. Randy says, how good it feels
<v Speaker 3>to be back in the ring and welcomes the Berlin
<v Speaker 3>Crown to SmackDown. I spy a villa shir in the crowd.
<v Speaker 3>He's a long way from home. Before Randy can get
<v Speaker 3>any further, we get Trick Williams out he's got more
<v Speaker 3>oil on him than an oil factory. Trick woo, who's
<v Speaker 3>at the crowd. But the crowd, to be honest, don't
<v Speaker 3>seem that happy to see him. Trick says he wants
<v Speaker 3>to stop Randy. He says he's sick of the stars
<v Speaker 3>coming out week after week, saying it's going to be
<v Speaker 3>their year. He says that he haven't noticed there is
<v Speaker 3>a new star and his name is Trick Williams. He
<v Speaker 3>says he doesn't know about Germany, but every other country
<v Speaker 3>in the world they love some Trick. He says, I'm
<v Speaker 3>six five, two hundred and fifty pounds and he's got
<v Speaker 3>two feet and Randy better do the math. He tells
<v Speaker 3>Randy it's twenty twenty six, not two thousand and six,
<v Speaker 3>and they better talk about Basically, everyone is paying for
<v Speaker 3>the RKO. At this point, Randy goes on to list
<v Speaker 3>his achievements and says the only number that matters is fourteen,
<v Speaker 3>as that's the number of world titles that he's won.
<v Speaker 3>He says, when he looks a Trick, he does see
<v Speaker 3>a star, but he isn't sure why he would come
<v Speaker 3>down and interrupt him, so he isn't so sure that
<v Speaker 3>he's got the brains. Trick tells Randy that he thinks
<v Speaker 3>that Randy is one of the best of all time.
<v Speaker 3>He says he came out to brush up against the
<v Speaker 3>great one, and he says he's the only one with
<v Speaker 3>brains to do it. He says he's come out to
<v Speaker 3>Berlin to put Randy on notice that this is the
<v Speaker 3>year of Trick. Randy says, I don't know what they're
<v Speaker 3>teaching you down at NXT. That someone should have told
<v Speaker 3>you never to turn your back on the viper, and
<v Speaker 3>if you do it again, I'm gonna whip your ass.
<v Speaker 3>This leads to a face off and Trick froze the
<v Speaker 3>mic out of Randy's and Randy lamps him a couple
<v Speaker 3>of times, hits his draping DDT and goes to look
<v Speaker 3>for the RKO. I need to be attacked from behind
<v Speaker 3>by the Miz, who tries for the skull crushing finale,
<v Speaker 3>but Randy counters and goes straight into another RKO for
<v Speaker 3>the miz Wade says that Randy is just dropping falls, left, right,
<v Speaker 3>and center here in Berlin, which is a very cool line.
<v Speaker 3>This was a good opening segment, certainly crowd pleasing for
<v Speaker 3>the Berlin crowd, who loved seeing Trick put in his
<v Speaker 3>place and miss getting rkoed even more. In terms of story, well,
<v Speaker 3>it definite seems like Randy is being lined up for
<v Speaker 3>a fifteenth title, and why not. My guess is he
<v Speaker 3>will have to go through both mis and Trick before
<v Speaker 3>he gets his shot, maybe at May now. But again,
<v Speaker 3>it's great to see Randy back and I'm very happy
<v Speaker 3>he seems to be finally getting the push in the
<v Speaker 3>right direction that he deserves. For me, though jury's still
<v Speaker 3>out on Trick. His promo wasn't great. He did seem
<v Speaker 3>to get lost midway though, and he said, let's talk
<v Speaker 3>about it every time. We wanted to finish the tenth sentence,
<v Speaker 3>so that's going to get old real quick. As Randy
<v Speaker 3>is leaving the ring, we get Ray Phoenix out and
<v Speaker 3>not sure the crowd tweaked who it was from his
<v Speaker 3>entrance music, but Randy gives him a high five on
<v Speaker 3>the way, which is nice. And do you guys remember
<v Speaker 3>in the Vince era when it was like none of
<v Speaker 3>the superstars ever let onto each other and they just
<v Speaker 3>sort of carried on in their lane by themselves. There
<v Speaker 3>was never any crossover, so it's nice to see little
<v Speaker 3>things like that. Anyway, we've got a match here. This
<v Speaker 3>is Phoenix versus Trick. Joe Tess reminds us that this
<v Speaker 3>one is a result of Trick interrupting Phoenix last week
<v Speaker 3>and kicks off with some displays. Phoenixes and he manages
<v Speaker 3>to get a really close cover on Trick. The Berlin
<v Speaker 3>crowd not liking Trick getting booed as he chops his
<v Speaker 3>off to the crowd and Trick is now in charge
<v Speaker 3>on making his power count. We get a sneaky roll
<v Speaker 3>up by Phoenix, almost giving him the win and a
<v Speaker 3>bit of a comeback, but Trick hits a massive pop
<v Speaker 3>up upper cut, almost taking away Phoenix's head off and
<v Speaker 3>getting himself a two point nine nine cover. Phoenix goes
<v Speaker 3>up top but tricks Trick gets his legs up and
<v Speaker 3>then a massive kick, getting Trick another two count. This
<v Speaker 3>one ends as a Trick counts as Phoenix, Phoenix's cover,
<v Speaker 3>grabbing a handful of his tights, leaving Trick to get
<v Speaker 3>the win, but win as a cheetah one. So the
<v Speaker 3>first first cheating result of tonight. So is it just
<v Speaker 3>me or is Trick basically mellow? I mean the way
<v Speaker 3>they brought him up and the way they brought him
<v Speaker 3>into the main roster. He had a huge ego and
<v Speaker 3>a healy character, and it's pretty much a spot on
<v Speaker 3>carbon copy as far as I'm seeing. So I predict
<v Speaker 3>he's going to follow the same route and in about
<v Speaker 3>a year or eighteen months, he's going to turn face,
<v Speaker 3>become likable and humble, get some traction, possibly leading to
<v Speaker 3>a mid card title run. Seriously, guys, think about it. Trick, Mellow,
<v Speaker 3>mellow trick. We go backstage now to Julia Keana and
<v Speaker 3>her massive handbag. Byron asks what the victory means to her.
<v Speaker 3>She says the title is back where it belongs. Keana
<v Speaker 3>says Julia will be in charge of the whole division soon,
<v Speaker 3>and Julia says to Bliss that she'll make an example
<v Speaker 3>of her tonight. So I guess let's see for me.
<v Speaker 3>I would love to see Bliss get the title off Julia.
<v Speaker 3>Do I think we will see that? Unfortunately, probably not.
<v Speaker 3>I just hope that this time around we get a
<v Speaker 3>bit more of something from Julia, because so far she
<v Speaker 3>doesn't match up to all the hype and she is
<v Speaker 3>decidedly met. We get a weekap of the Ambulance match
<v Speaker 3>from last week and Priest win. Byron has Damian backstage
<v Speaker 3>and asks him what's next and also how is he feeling.
<v Speaker 3>He says he is hurt. Six months he got beat down,
<v Speaker 3>but in the end he won the war. He says
<v Speaker 3>what's next is he wants to join the party and
<v Speaker 3>get himself a title shot. This brings Drew out of
<v Speaker 3>the woodwork. Damien says that he knows how dangerous Drew
<v Speaker 3>is and if he wins tonight, maybe they can go
<v Speaker 3>again and Damien can scramble Drew's brains again. Byron asked
<v Speaker 3>Drew what's on his mind tonight as he prepares, and
<v Speaker 3>he says that emotions are high, but not his. He's
<v Speaker 3>talking about Cody's as everyone was holding him back last
<v Speaker 3>week when he burned the picture. He says he can't
<v Speaker 3>wait to see Cody's face tonight. When he sees that
<v Speaker 3>he has the watch that Dusty had to pawn to
<v Speaker 3>pay for Cody's future. He says he can see Cody's
<v Speaker 3>future and tonight he will finally be champion. Now it
<v Speaker 3>feels like we're being set up here to expect to
<v Speaker 3>Drew Winn, but I'm not buying it, and I'm sticking
<v Speaker 3>with Cody retaining and taking the belt into Mania. We
<v Speaker 3>go backstage to Bliss, who is apparently speaking to Charlotte
<v Speaker 3>on the phone, telling her how terrible she sounds. She's
<v Speaker 3>basically letting on that she's got cold. Bliss is saying
<v Speaker 3>that she didn't even know about the match until today.
<v Speaker 3>She says she's got to go. Nira and Lash have
<v Speaker 3>approached her, and Nya ask where Charlotte is. Does she
<v Speaker 3>the sniffles, She says the second it isn't all about her.
<v Speaker 3>She disappears. Bliss tells Lash to drop Nigah before she
<v Speaker 3>drags her down. Take it from someone who knows, she says,
<v Speaker 3>So we've got Bliss versus Julia. That's up. Now. Do
<v Speaker 3>you think the talking to Flare on the phone thing
<v Speaker 3>and her not being there is a work and she
<v Speaker 3>actually is there and will come out to help Bliss
<v Speaker 3>later when inevitably Nia and Lash in fear, perhaps let's
<v Speaker 3>see Bliss out to a massive pop. Seems it's not
<v Speaker 3>just me that would like to see her with a title,
<v Speaker 3>and this one kicks off. Wade is saying that Julia
<v Speaker 3>wants to make this run more impactful from the last. Well,
<v Speaker 3>no shit, shir Lock, it couldn't be less. She starts
<v Speaker 3>off this match strong though, taking out Bliss with a
<v Speaker 3>huge missile drop kick and getting a two count, and
<v Speaker 3>the comms team are really pushing the angle that Charlie
<v Speaker 3>isn't really thick and she's just off with the hump.
<v Speaker 3>Bliss making a comeback as they both end up on
<v Speaker 3>the outside, but Julia turns things back around in her
<v Speaker 3>favor and has control. Keana James repeatedly getting digs in
<v Speaker 3>at Bliss every time the rest back is turned, which
<v Speaker 3>is annoying, and we get another comeback from Bliss and
<v Speaker 3>the crowd are absolutely loving it. She hits a wicked
<v Speaker 3>looking Verse natural selection and gets herself a good long
<v Speaker 3>two count. Bliss counters the Northern Lights bomb into the
<v Speaker 3>Sister Abigail, but once again Keana James gets involved and
<v Speaker 3>finally she gets hers from Bliss. Bliss is just about
<v Speaker 3>to hit Twisted Bliss, but Bloody Lash legend comes out
<v Speaker 3>and interferes, allowing Julia to go ahead and hit the
<v Speaker 3>Northern Lights bomb and get the win, another cheap win.
<v Speaker 3>We then get Naya and Lash into the ring start
<v Speaker 3>to beat down on Bliss. Naya hits the annihilator and
<v Speaker 3>no one comes out to make the save, So Charlotte
<v Speaker 3>not here. In my opinion, this smack which fell a
<v Speaker 3>little bit flat. There wasn't masses of booing for Nia
<v Speaker 3>and Lash, just kind of crickets. No one wanted to
<v Speaker 3>see blissket beat down, so we continue with this story.
<v Speaker 3>They haven't made a blazing start to this run, being
<v Speaker 3>better for Julia, who apparently needs help to retain from
<v Speaker 3>not one but two extra people ringside, so in my opinion,
<v Speaker 3>all just a little bit crap. We go backstage where
<v Speaker 3>Nick is telling Jordan and Grace that she's made the
<v Speaker 3>right choice and welcomes her to SmackDown once again. She's
<v Speaker 3>interrupted by Chelsea, who demands a rematch. Re rematch, she says.
<v Speaker 3>Jordan says she probably she won't be a diva and
<v Speaker 3>demand things like Chelsea, which she used to battle Alba's cage.
<v Speaker 3>She faces off to her and Nick makes the match
<v Speaker 3>no rematch for Chelsea yet. We then get kick. Wilson
<v Speaker 3>comes along and ask Nick what he's going to do
<v Speaker 3>about the toxic masculinity on SmackDown, and Nick bolts off
<v Speaker 3>to his office and kick Tonight dressed in his NaN's doily,
<v Speaker 3>and we continue with that stick really pleased to see
<v Speaker 3>Jordan Grace has been allocated to smack Down and excited
<v Speaker 3>to see what she can do against Alba later on.
<v Speaker 3>So I think this is a really positive, new positive
<v Speaker 3>move for our program. We stay backstage and Byron has
<v Speaker 3>that Grider stroke. Matt Cordona with him. He asks how
<v Speaker 3>it feels to be back after five years, and he
<v Speaker 3>says it feels great to be back. He says when
<v Speaker 3>he left, he could have done one of three things.
<v Speaker 3>He could have been bitter, he could have coasted off
<v Speaker 3>his name, what he'd made for himself so far, or
<v Speaker 3>he could have worked really hard to reinvent himself and
<v Speaker 3>get back to w and that's what he did. He
<v Speaker 3>then runs into Cody, who gets booed from the crowd again,
<v Speaker 3>and Matt Cordoner says he's back, but he's back for
<v Speaker 3>the title, and Cody says that when he's done with
<v Speaker 3>Drew they can talk. It seems like everyone is out
<v Speaker 3>for a championship match, which is okay by me as
<v Speaker 3>it leaves loads of different options open as we head
<v Speaker 3>to Mania next up. Now we have got the MFTs
<v Speaker 3>versus the WYA at six, and we only get to
<v Speaker 3>see the entrance for the WYA at six. The MFTs
<v Speaker 3>are just there in the ring like a gang and
<v Speaker 3>Lemons just waiting. We've got j c. Mateo, who looks
<v Speaker 3>like he won't be involved tonight. He's not on the
<v Speaker 3>apron and we kick off with Joe Gacy and Tonga Lower.
<v Speaker 3>Joe Gacy on top first of all, as he manages
<v Speaker 3>to wipe out all of the MFTs at ringside the crowd. Interestingly,
<v Speaker 3>he must be quite sweary tonight, as Netflix keeps dropping
<v Speaker 3>out the sound sporadically. Joe Kase is still in the ring.
<v Speaker 3>He's been by himself since the beginning, and the MFTs
<v Speaker 3>has made the comeback. Talatonga in is just smashing Joe
<v Speaker 3>around the ring, and at the moment it's the MFTs
<v Speaker 3>just pretty much taking turns beating him down. Finally case
<v Speaker 3>he gets the tag and Rowan is in and cleaning up,
<v Speaker 3>and we finally get Rowan versus Talatonga and it's a
<v Speaker 3>straight punch up in the middle of the ring with
<v Speaker 3>a head butt taking down Rowan and then Rowan having
<v Speaker 3>a turn at taking down Talatonga. We then get Howdy
<v Speaker 3>versus Solo? How do you doing well? As he counts
<v Speaker 3>as the spike goes for sister Abigail, which Solo gets
<v Speaker 3>away from. This one ends pretty quick. A Solo distracts
<v Speaker 3>the Wire six with the lantern, leaving Tamatonga to hit
<v Speaker 3>the cup throat and get the win for his team.
<v Speaker 3>So what next for these two teams? Another title shot?
<v Speaker 3>I'm guessing for the MFTs and they've nicked the lantern.
<v Speaker 3>I mean, how are the Wire six ever going to
<v Speaker 3>find their way up to bed? Now we go backstage again.
<v Speaker 3>We've got the Miss leaving Nick's office looking smug as per.
<v Speaker 3>He bumps into Mellow and Miss tells himself that he
<v Speaker 3>got himself a title shot. Miss says he can barely
<v Speaker 3>move after the RKO by Randy, and he will get
<v Speaker 3>the title and be a free time Grand Slam champ.
<v Speaker 3>God I hope not. Next up, we've got Albert. She
<v Speaker 3>is fighting Jordan Grace for her debut on the show,
<v Speaker 3>so fully expecting Albert to eat the pin and put
<v Speaker 3>over Jordan Grace, but still looking forward to this one nevertheless.
<v Speaker 3>First off, though, how impressive does and Grace look. She
<v Speaker 3>is ripped as she starts off super strong, smashing the
<v Speaker 3>living daylights out of Alba, while Chelsea is screaming her
<v Speaker 3>head off at ringside, which isn't irritating at all. It
<v Speaker 3>is unlying Jordan. Grace looks to have it sewn up
<v Speaker 3>with a packaged power bomb, and Chelsea causes the distraction,
<v Speaker 3>but Grace dispatches her, gets a torture rack bomb on
<v Speaker 3>Albert and takes the win. Wow. I didn't have a
<v Speaker 3>clock on it, but it can't have been even five
<v Speaker 3>minutes long. And Grace looks phenomenal. What a talent. I
<v Speaker 3>am uber excited to see what happens with her. This
<v Speaker 3>is exactly the kind of thing that we were looking for.
<v Speaker 3>She's leaving and going up the ramp. Sorry, we get
<v Speaker 3>Jade out and she faces off to Grace. Jay tells her,
<v Speaker 3>you think you did something, You think you're special. When
<v Speaker 3>I'm on my show, and I'm that bitch. Well, I
<v Speaker 3>am very looking forward to seeing those two go at
<v Speaker 3>it whenever that will be. But I am well and
<v Speaker 3>truly sick of hearing Jay just say the same thing
<v Speaker 3>every single week. Yes, we know you're that bitch, but honestly,
<v Speaker 3>what else have you got? And are you ever defending
<v Speaker 3>that title? Backstage now, where Byron has Sammy and he
<v Speaker 3>asks him who thinks will win the title match tonight,
<v Speaker 3>Sammy says there's a small part of him that wants
<v Speaker 3>Drew to win because he's famously the only person Sammy
<v Speaker 3>is never beaten. He says, obviously, though he's routing for Cody,
<v Speaker 3>as he is the best champion they've had in years,
<v Speaker 3>He's a great guy. YadA YadA, yadda. Sammy says, his
<v Speaker 3>money's on Cody. He says, though, whoever wins, he is
<v Speaker 3>waiting on the other side. So that's him and pretty
<v Speaker 3>much the whole of the men's locker room who were
<v Speaker 3>in for the title. So I think we are probably
<v Speaker 3>going to get news of some kind of tournament or
<v Speaker 3>special stipulation match to determine the new number one contender
<v Speaker 3>for Mania. And is that where we get Jericho. Next out,
<v Speaker 3>we have Melo, who thank god is carrying on the
<v Speaker 3>open challenge and we're going to see who he's going
<v Speaker 3>to face soon. Backstage, we get Nathan Fraser. He's surprise
<v Speaker 3>attacked by Johnny, who is wearing the mask he nicked
<v Speaker 3>of Axiom. Back to the ring and Melo's oppon is Shinskate.
<v Speaker 3>This should be excellent. We get a tie up to
<v Speaker 3>start things off, and we are pretty even Stevens at
<v Speaker 3>the beginning. Mellow getting the upper hand and the crowd
<v Speaker 3>are absolutely loving it. Mellow hits a massive leg drop
<v Speaker 3>and gets himself a decent two count. Shinno makes a comeback,
<v Speaker 3>demonstrating his class and ability on the matt, dominating Mellow
<v Speaker 3>and Shin in return and gets himself a good two count.
<v Speaker 3>Shin hits a dragon screw on Mellow's knee twice and
<v Speaker 3>looks like he is down and out. Mellow, though making
<v Speaker 3>a comeback. Both guys down in the center of the ring,
<v Speaker 3>and unfortunately the crowd seems to have died a bit here.
<v Speaker 3>This has gone on for a while and we're back
<v Speaker 3>with Shint on the offensive. We get a corner spot
<v Speaker 3>Mellow is hung upside down. Sin tries to attack, but
<v Speaker 3>Mellow manages to sit up get out of the way.
<v Speaker 3>She gets himself another two count and kicks Mellow so
<v Speaker 3>effectively that he actually does a whole three sixty spin
<v Speaker 3>in the air, and these two are just tearing it up.
<v Speaker 3>Mellow from nowhere, his first forty eight goes up, manages
<v Speaker 3>to hit nothing, but Nett manages to retain from a
<v Speaker 3>literally nowhere. This was a great match that was It
<v Speaker 3>looked for absolutely everything that Shin was going to win.
<v Speaker 3>But Mellow gets himself even more over and retains and
<v Speaker 3>the open challenge he continues and stays just brilliant. Backstage
<v Speaker 3>again and we get Byron asking Cody for his final thoughts.
<v Speaker 3>Cody says, as champion, I'm surrounded by people all the time,
<v Speaker 3>by the best people. He says. He sees Drew has
<v Speaker 3>his father's watch. Tonight, he says it's unnecessary to bring
<v Speaker 3>his father into these things, and it's lazy, he says,
<v Speaker 3>Dusty doesn't make the comeback he does. He says, tonight
<v Speaker 3>Drew will be looking up at the lights and then
<v Speaker 3>it's on to Mania. I thought this was nice from Cody,
<v Speaker 3>Calm Champion like let's see what this main event brings.
<v Speaker 3>It looks like Cody is going to have the crowd
<v Speaker 3>against him before that match, though, we get Nick and
<v Speaker 3>confirms that next week in Wembley there will be four
<v Speaker 3>qualifying matches and the winners will face off and become
<v Speaker 3>the winner will become the number one contender and fight
<v Speaker 3>whoever the champion is at the World Rumble, which is excellent.
<v Speaker 3>The matches are going to be Randy versus Mears, Macdona
<v Speaker 3>versus Trick Williams, Priest versus Solo, and Sammy versus Ilia Dragonoff.
<v Speaker 3>I would like to see Randy, Macdona, Priest and Dragonof
<v Speaker 3>get through to the fatal four way and let's see
<v Speaker 3>Ilia Dragonoff as the number one contender to whoever wins tonight.
<v Speaker 3>But Wembley is going to be pretty sick next week,
<v Speaker 3>I think. So to recap this tonight's main event, we've
<v Speaker 3>got a straight up stand match that's followed by a
<v Speaker 3>falls count anywhere, and then finally we'll go into a
<v Speaker 3>steel cage. And as we start this marathon, Cody is
<v Speaker 3>on fire and Drew trying to goad him into using
<v Speaker 3>a steel chair, but Cody doesn't do it. And we
<v Speaker 3>carry on. Cody hits Cody Cutter off the top rope
<v Speaker 3>and gets the first close cover of the match, and

<v Speaker 3>claimor and gets the first pin of these three matches,
<v Speaker 3>another cheat win. Now we move on to falls count anywhere,
<v Speaker 3>and with the build up that we've had between these two,
<v Speaker 3>fully expecting this to be properly gnarly, Drew goes right
<v Speaker 3>for the table, sorry, the slim gym table, slamming Cody
<v Speaker 3>through it and getting a two count on the mats.
<v Speaker 3>Outside the ring, Cody with a bit of a comeback
<v Speaker 3>as they start going at it through the crowd, and
<v Speaker 3>Cody nicks a fan's phone and takes a selfie of
<v Speaker 3>himself biting to Drew's head, which I love imagine being
<v Speaker 3>that fan. I want to see that picture on x
<v Speaker 3>And they've now brawled themselves backstage, and Cody's trying to
<v Speaker 3>choke Drew with a banana, which is one of the
<v Speaker 3>weirdest things I think I've seen him pro wrestling in
<v Speaker 3>recent years. We don't get Cody pulling a real Ko
<v Speaker 3>or Shane O Mack move. He goes up to the balcony,
<v Speaker 3>which is where all the fans are, and he onto
<v Speaker 3>Drew onto the concrete, who somehow kicks out. Cody hits
<v Speaker 3>Crossroads on the announced desk and gets the free crown
<v Speaker 3>count on Drew.
<v Speaker 2>One.
<v Speaker 3>All we go to the steel cage match, and both
<v Speaker 3>guys that kind of dead, so this will be tough
<v Speaker 3>to watch. So off we go with the steel cage match.
<v Speaker 3>And in all my years watching pro wrestling, I've ever
<v Speaker 3>seen the steel cage come down so quickly. Usually they
<v Speaker 3>come down at snail's pace, but this just flew down,
<v Speaker 3>so the steel cage is in place right away. Drew
<v Speaker 3>makes a run for the door to try and escape,
<v Speaker 3>but Cody just about stops him. Drew behaving in proper
<v Speaker 3>heel fashion as the one who's trying to escape, and
<v Speaker 3>Drew gets a close count after a superplex off the cage.
<v Speaker 3>A couple of near falls for Cody as he hits
<v Speaker 3>Crossroads and Cody Cutter, and then Cody hits another cutter
<v Speaker 3>off the top of the cage, which looks awesome, and
<v Speaker 3>somehow Drew managers to kick out and I am starting
<v Speaker 3>to fear the worst here. Drew looks like he's about
<v Speaker 3>to escape out of the door when a black hoodie
<v Speaker 3>shows up, and first of all, it's like he's helping
<v Speaker 3>Cody by beating up Drew, but then he goes nuts
<v Speaker 3>and starts to beat down Cody. It's Jacob Fattou making
<v Speaker 3>his return, by the way, so Drew in unremarkable fashion,
<v Speaker 3>it exits the cage and wins the match and he's
<v Speaker 3>the new champion. Win for Drew. But the headline here
<v Speaker 3>is that Fatu is back and he seems to have
<v Speaker 3>new teeth, So I say, let's add Fatoo to the
<v Speaker 3>number one can end the match and having taken the
<v Speaker 3>title off Drew a bit guy Drew one. I'm not
<v Speaker 3>gonna lie, but I feel like it was it was
<v Speaker 3>coming tonight a little bit. So all in all, what
<v Speaker 3>if we think of tonight's show? Well, I enjoyed the
<v Speaker 3>men's Est title match lot I thought that was a masterclass,
<v Speaker 3>really really good. I love the look of Jordan Grace.
<v Speaker 3>I think she's pretty epic. Bliss versus Julia was a
<v Speaker 3>very weird non event, and the free stages of her
<v Speaker 3>match was pretty good match, as I said, slightly guided
<v Speaker 3>to see Drew Wynd, but delighted to see Fatu back,
<v Speaker 3>good to see the setup for number one contender and
<v Speaker 3>looking forward to next week at Wembley. As I've said,
<v Speaker 3>I would love to see Leia dragon Off get the
<v Speaker 3>number one contender spot. So all in all, I wonder
<v Speaker 3>how the Berlin crowd feel. As always, the European crowds
<v Speaker 3>are always noisy and they always bring the atmosphere from
<v Speaker 3>start to finish. But again, it was a long show.
<v Speaker 3>It was three hours. We ended with that epic three
<v Speaker 3>Rings of Hell match, which was good, but it did
<v Speaker 3>feel like there was a decent amount of filler in
<v Speaker 3>tonight's show. So Drew's Andrew Champion, so we have three
<v Speaker 3>heel champs on our show. So we've now got Drew,
<v Speaker 3>We've got Jade, and we've got Julia. And I'm much
<v Speaker 3>more of a face champ kind of girl. So I'm
<v Speaker 3>hoping that we get some changes coming up, but that's
<v Speaker 3>unlikely in the run up to Mania. But hey, at
<v Speaker 3>least we've got an interesting Number one Contenders match coming up,
<v Speaker 3>and it looks like we're on European time for the
<v Speaker 3>next week or so at least, which is a bonus.
