<v Speaker 1>Welcome on into the Non Tender Podcast. My name is <v Speaker 1>Kimberly toon and sat with me. Here is my beautiful husband, <v Speaker 1>Would Hawker. I am so pregnant right now? So pregnant? <v Speaker 1>How pregnant am I? <v Speaker 2>This sounds like a setup for a bed. <v Speaker 1>How pregnant am I? How pregnant? <v Speaker 2>A seven is close to seven and a half at <v Speaker 2>this point. <v Speaker 1>He's cooking, he's getting close, literally on track with the <v Speaker 1>switch to launch crazy. Two very exciting things happening. Actually <v Speaker 1>there's a third very exciting thing happening. And welcome on <v Speaker 1>and everybody. I was so so happy to have you, <v Speaker 1>so glad to have you. This is the moment, Kim. <v Speaker 1>Everyone's going to witness it at the same time, all right, <v Speaker 1>and then I'm going to talk about it. Okay, And <v Speaker 1>I lied. Here's nothing happened. Why did nothing happen? <v Speaker 2>I don't know. <v Speaker 1>This is what happens when they have to run it <v Speaker 1>on my own. Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, <v Speaker 1>hold on, let me try again. Hot. <v Speaker 3>Huh everything was working because I did this probably three <v Speaker 3>two one. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. Eric nailed it again. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, he nailed it. That was such a mess though, <v Speaker 1>because it cut out early and it took too long, <v Speaker 1>but here it is. It is the official new non <v Speaker 1>Tendo music. It starts a little quiet and then it <v Speaker 1>hits real loud. So I don't want to blow anybody out, <v Speaker 1>but listen to this, and how good Eric is. <v Speaker 4>I don't know if he I don't know how he <v Speaker 4>does it. <v Speaker 1>I was just gonna let him play. <v Speaker 4>I don't even care, dude, I don't know. <v Speaker 1>Welcome to Nontendo twenty twenty five. Honestly, it gives me chills. <v Speaker 1>It's so good. I mean, this goes on for a <v Speaker 1>couple of minutes, but we're talking guitar, percussion. <v Speaker 2>The instruments himself, doesn't he so the. <v Speaker 1>Sacks he highs out to a guy that he knows, <v Speaker 1>and it's the same guy that did the sacks for <v Speaker 1>the original song. Oh okay, so it's you know, it's <v Speaker 1>in the family. Still. Oh this is so good. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>So someone in chat said I like the old music <v Speaker 1>to be an outro or something. So I don't know <v Speaker 1>where these two songs are gonna fall, but I'm gonna <v Speaker 1>keep using them both. And I do picture one being <v Speaker 1>an intro and one being an outro. So this one, <v Speaker 1>to me, is really happy poppy vibes. Yeah, and then <v Speaker 1>this one, the original to me is very like late night, <v Speaker 1>late night show sort of. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it does. It sounds like somebody like the guest <v Speaker 2>walking out. <v Speaker 1>Yeah music. Yeah, So we might use them interchangeably. Maybe <v Speaker 1>one week it'll be one will be the intro, one <v Speaker 1>would be the outro. Maybe we'll fall into a place <v Speaker 1>where one is the intro and one is the outro. <v Speaker 1>Right now, I'm I'm kind of really vibing with it <v Speaker 1>being the I'm kind of vibing with this starting the <v Speaker 1>show like we go live and we have this in <v Speaker 1>the back, and then the new track is part of <v Speaker 1>the intro like we saw because by the way as well, <v Speaker 1>and I'm gonna play it again because I love it <v Speaker 1>so much. This was not intentional, because the new animation <v Speaker 1>intro that we had made or I had made for <v Speaker 1>the show this year lines up perfectly with the new <v Speaker 1>song Eric made, and they were not connected at all. <v Speaker 2>Oh I thought they were. I thought that was the whole. <v Speaker 1>No, he just made the song and then he made <v Speaker 1>like a short fifteen second version. And I want you <v Speaker 1>to pay attention to the graphic when the joycon slide <v Speaker 1>off the sacks slides off and it's so perfect. Nope, <v Speaker 1>but oh let's do that. <v Speaker 5>It's wrong. <v Speaker 1>I'm a mess today. Forty one days remain, but yeah, <v Speaker 1>pay attention to that. It's crazy. Oh that one worked. <v Speaker 1>I don't know why the first time it cut out soone. <v Speaker 1>So yeah, huge shout out to Eric and once again <v Speaker 1>nailed it. So we now have also with the Nintendo <v Speaker 1>Shop Music, we now have three official songs of the show. <v Speaker 1>I love how they all feel. I love how they <v Speaker 1>all make the show feel. And I also I kind <v Speaker 1>of want to upload them all separately as their own <v Speaker 1>songs on the channel so that people can listen to <v Speaker 1>them and enjoy them whenever and give credit to Eric <v Speaker 1>on the screen and be like, so at some point, <v Speaker 1>if you see all three of these get uploaded one <v Speaker 1>week randomly, that's why. Just know that. It's because I <v Speaker 1>want people to be able to enjoy these because they're <v Speaker 1>so good they are. I feel like all three of <v Speaker 1>these could be in an official Nintendo game soundtrack. Mario Party, <v Speaker 1>probably Mario Party, Mario kartt I mean, oh, this is <v Speaker 1>Mario k the Beach, this feels Maria Cup. I also <v Speaker 1>kind of hope that Nintendo allows us to like. So <v Speaker 1>I have this theory that maybe Nintendo will let you <v Speaker 1>add your own custom things to switch to, like your <v Speaker 1>own home screen, maybe even your own e shop music <v Speaker 1>would be really sick. Can you imagine I add this <v Speaker 1>to the shop? That would be so cool? Like it's <v Speaker 1>it's crazy, that's I mean, Eric made it, but it's <v Speaker 1>crazy that that's our song now and we own that. <v Speaker 1>Ham's calling again. What did I do wrong? <v Speaker 5>Now? <v Speaker 1>Hey King? How you doing? <v Speaker 6>Brother? <v Speaker 1>Yeah? Good? Love the music? <v Speaker 2>Mm hmmmm, could for a minute, what did I do? Buddy? <v Speaker 3>Oh, you didn't do anything wrong. <v Speaker 1>B Could you just maybe hold the mic in the <v Speaker 1>other hand, because it's like the directional and woods voice <v Speaker 1>is getting picked up. That's why I didn't That's why <v Speaker 1>I didn't want to use that microphone. I don't know <v Speaker 1>if that's gonna help. <v Speaker 2>Is that gonna help? Because now I'm closer to his microphone. <v Speaker 1>Let me let me try it. Let me turn her. <v Speaker 1>But I turned her down a little bit, and I <v Speaker 1>turned me up a bit. How does it sound? Now <v Speaker 1>you're gonna have to wait, You're gonna have to wait <v Speaker 1>thirty secondads, But I'll keep talking and then you can <v Speaker 1>let me know. Also him is sick again or still? <v Speaker 1>I guess what do you have? Bud flu nova virus? <v Speaker 1>I think it sounds okay, thank you? What is chat? <v Speaker 1>But I'm not sick again, like I'm getting better. It's <v Speaker 1>just that, like I definitely had COVID and I don't <v Speaker 1>want to get Yeah, we cannot get Also, as soon <v Speaker 1>as we have this baby, I'm expecting to be sick <v Speaker 1>all the time. So if I could not be sick before, <v Speaker 1>then that would be fantastic. You'll catch me wearing a <v Speaker 1>mask in every episode. Oh my god, thank you for <v Speaker 1>doing that. I guess, all right, buddy, so protection Yeah, <v Speaker 1>I know I realized when I said that. So everything <v Speaker 1>sounds good? Can I get a one in chat? If <v Speaker 1>everything sounds good? Does it sound good to you? <v Speaker 2>I mean it sounds good to me for the moment <v Speaker 2>when I okay, listen, phone. <v Speaker 1>Call one if it's good too. If it's not, we're <v Speaker 1>going to get this show back on track. Ham, Are <v Speaker 1>you coming next week or no? <v Speaker 2>I mean that's the plan for right now. <v Speaker 1>It's been a it's been a month without you. <v Speaker 2>I know I have I have nontend to withdrawal. <v Speaker 1>I So I was I was going to say this <v Speaker 1>at the start at some point. But I am absolutely <v Speaker 1>mentally and physically wiped right now. I pulled three Actually <v Speaker 1>I work Sunday as well. I pulled four really long <v Speaker 1>days trying to catch I'm trying to like get get <v Speaker 1>ahead and stay ahead. And I filmed like five different <v Speaker 1>things this week. And I can't tell you how much <v Speaker 1>I don't want to be talking right now, but I <v Speaker 1>got to do a podcast, so I'm riding through the <v Speaker 1>pain and setting up without you. This morning kind of sucked. Well, <v Speaker 1>hopefully next week, I mean well, hopefully the plan is <v Speaker 1>to be that next week. Yeah, just don't get me sick. <v Speaker 6>I do need to. <v Speaker 7>I need to. <v Speaker 1>I need to change in my car. We can figure <v Speaker 1>that out. We'll figure that out, all right, love you, <v Speaker 1>but I love you too. Also, I think the second <v Speaker 1>screen is dumb. Okay, okay, bye, come on, that goes. <v Speaker 1>That's the episode, all right. So yeah, as as Ham <v Speaker 1>was alluding to the title of this episode and the <v Speaker 1>main topic today, I don't want to put my phone <v Speaker 1>is corner. Could the switch to have two screens, Kimberly. <v Speaker 2>I don't know, because it's from the photos that you <v Speaker 2>showed me and from other concepts I've seen it looks kind. <v Speaker 1>Of cheap, but well that's as it's a fan mock up. <v Speaker 1>It's a fan mock up. <v Speaker 2>I just it looks like it's going to break off <v Speaker 2>because I know it's a it's not real. <v Speaker 1>Don't do it better? All right, let's talk. Let's talk <v Speaker 1>about it a couple of things off the rip here. <v Speaker 1>This is episode one hundred and thirty. Thank you all <v Speaker 1>for being here. We're still edging towards this one hundred <v Speaker 1>k subscribers and we are going up a little every week, <v Speaker 1>and thank you for the support. Again. I want to <v Speaker 1>play button for this channel so bad so that it <v Speaker 1>feels like we really succeeded and accomplished something here with <v Speaker 1>the podcast, and it would just mean a lot to me. <v Speaker 1>It means a lot to my heart and soul. So <v Speaker 1>i'd appreciate it if you consider subscribing here on YouTube, <v Speaker 1>even if you're an audio listener. I also asked to <v Speaker 1>send over a voicemail, and it looks like we've got one, <v Speaker 1>so let's see if it actually works. <v Speaker 5>They were just Dwayne Lawrence from a South Traffick group. <v Speaker 1>Can you guys hear that at the hair? I think <v Speaker 1>it's coming through the laptop. Can I borrow this staying. <v Speaker 5>Of your podcast and YouTube channel. I was just come <v Speaker 5>on a sea and to ask if you will be <v Speaker 5>attending tax this year. <v Speaker 6>We're hoping to. <v Speaker 5>Go and my family are all fans. <v Speaker 6>Of you and would like to meet in your figure autograph. <v Speaker 6>Congratulations again on the expecting baby, and have a great <v Speaker 6>year of youtubing and podcasting. <v Speaker 5>Enjoy your everything you do. <v Speaker 6>Thank you very much. <v Speaker 1>Bye. I don't know if you guys heard that quiet. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>I saw that. Sorry about that. It was only coming <v Speaker 1>through the laptop, and it looked like that that you <v Speaker 1>guys were getting it loud and clear, but I guess <v Speaker 1>you weren't. So the voicemail, which maybe we can edit <v Speaker 1>into posts for audio listeners, was asking if we're going <v Speaker 1>to PAXs. So this is a question that Kim and <v Speaker 1>I had been bouncing around in the family because Pax <v Speaker 1>is like middle start, middle ish of May, and the <v Speaker 1>baby is do me first? <v Speaker 2>The baby? Yeah, well originally, but they originally so now <v Speaker 2>it's like. <v Speaker 1>A little earlier, so you know, technically speaking on paper, No, <v Speaker 1>I mean I would not Kim, obviously, No, I'm not <v Speaker 1>I obviously for any other reason would be. No, I'm <v Speaker 1>not two weeks even a month after Kim gives birth <v Speaker 1>to my son when I leave to go to another state. <v Speaker 1>The only thing is that we've been talking about is <v Speaker 1>if the switch to is there, Like if Nintendo goes <v Speaker 1>there with some big switch To presentation and there's a <v Speaker 1>ton of switch To you know, games there and developers there. <v Speaker 1>Every year that I've gone, which I think is two now, <v Speaker 1>this would be the third I've done an upcoming Switch <v Speaker 1>games video, maybe the fourth year. <v Speaker 2>I think so, because there was one that I didn't <v Speaker 2>go with. <v Speaker 1>You and will you You've always been with h No you, <v Speaker 1>I swear no. <v Speaker 2>One year now to. <v Speaker 1>Boston on my own. I'm scared even at the thought <v Speaker 1>of doing it this time with it. I don't like <v Speaker 1>traveling without Kim. No, those videos always do really well. <v Speaker 1>And doing one about the switch to and getting a <v Speaker 1>hands on with the switch again, maybe like for a <v Speaker 1>second time after the New York event and looking at <v Speaker 1>some Switch two games, that could be a video that <v Speaker 1>does really well and at some point, you know, a <v Speaker 1>video doing very well and making money for our family <v Speaker 1>is important. So I it all depends on the situation <v Speaker 1>and when we get them. But if I can get <v Speaker 1>away with maybe going for like one day, so fly out, <v Speaker 1>spend at most one night there, and then come back. <v Speaker 2>I feel like that's going to be very stressful for. <v Speaker 1>You, probably, But yeah, yeah, it just depends. And also, <v Speaker 1>we could make all the plans in the world and <v Speaker 1>be like, yes, this makes sense financially, Yes we should <v Speaker 1>do this, and then we actually get to the time <v Speaker 1>and I'm like, there's no shot I'm leaving you right now. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>It also depends on how you're doing and how the <v Speaker 1>baby's doing. Of like we're in a somewhat groove, if <v Speaker 1>your mom can come help, So it all depends. It <v Speaker 1>all depends. But yeah, if you want to leave a voicemail, <v Speaker 1>hopefully next week you'll be able to hear it. The <v Speaker 1>numbers on the screen are four seven one. Is that right? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's right. <v Speaker 1>All right, Okay, let's dive in. Thank you everybody for <v Speaker 1>being here. If the audio still sounds good, let me know. <v Speaker 1>I'll try facing this way and talking away from that <v Speaker 1>microphone as much as I can. But all right, so <v Speaker 1>off the rip. This is the first thing that I <v Speaker 1>want to talk about today. Now. I made a big <v Speaker 1>stink recently about I don't like doing titles and thumbnails <v Speaker 1>is about the switch to, or like leaks or rumors, <v Speaker 1>unless I honestly feel like it's something that's happening now. <v Speaker 1>This week, the biggest a noise that was made online <v Speaker 1>regarding the switch to was this post and a couple others. <v Speaker 1>There's there's actually an animated one. I mean, if I <v Speaker 1>can pull that one, Oh my god, no, no, stop it. <v Speaker 1>That's gonna happen every time I cut that later, and <v Speaker 1>I don't know what to do stop it right now <v Speaker 1>because that is one not supposed to be doing that. Okay, <v Speaker 1>so sorry about that. My brain. My brain is on <v Speaker 1>fire today. Sorry, I'm really I'm really pulling through here. <v Speaker 1>I'm drinking a brown sugar Shaken Express or that I <v Speaker 1>made myself, which I'm now addicted to since Duncan Donuts <v Speaker 1>started doing it for Sabrina Carpenter. <v Speaker 2>It's really good. <v Speaker 1>So Sabrina Carpetent has a song called Espresso. We all <v Speaker 1>know that, right Duncan Donuts is doing a as just <v Speaker 1>said it. I don't know why I'm repeating it, but <v Speaker 1>it's so good. It's actually one of the only things <v Speaker 1>I've enjoyed from Duncan. So now I've been putting brass <v Speaker 1>sugar into my own coffee at home and shaking it <v Speaker 1>and it's good. And I don't know why I never <v Speaker 1>thought about doing that. Oh my god, sorry about sorry <v Speaker 1>about all of this. Um, this is going to be <v Speaker 1>a train wreck episode. I apologize. Yeah, this info, this <v Speaker 1>thing went around. Yeah, this is another actually thing people <v Speaker 1>have been talking about that you can flip the switch <v Speaker 1>and still connect the joy cons in that's. <v Speaker 2>What you need. <v Speaker 1>Well, it's a theory people have. The only practical use <v Speaker 1>I could see is it would take the ORCS point <v Speaker 1>for the headphones and put it either at the top <v Speaker 1>or bottom, depending on your preference, which is pretty cool. <v Speaker 1>Other than that, it could just be like a gimmick thing, <v Speaker 1>you know, like there were like Pokemon in Scarlet and <v Speaker 1>Violet I remember, or Sword and Shield. Sorry, there was <v Speaker 1>that creamy Pokemon where to evolve it you had to <v Speaker 1>spin your character around in a circle for a long <v Speaker 1>time and depending on how long you spun, you know, <v Speaker 1>And then there was one there was the squid one <v Speaker 1>where you had to evolve it with your switch upside down. <v Speaker 1>I don't know, I can see things like that, you know, <v Speaker 1>little silly gimmicks where I remember in a one of <v Speaker 1>my favorite moments of the DS actually let me Oh <v Speaker 1>my god, those those Ham and Cheddar. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. I don't think Ham's getting fired anytime. <v Speaker 1>I am so not. This is terrible. I've done this <v Speaker 1>for a month without him, is this, Kim? I hate everything. <v Speaker 1>I don't know what's happening. Oh what was I saying? <v Speaker 1>What was I saying? <v Speaker 2>Him? <v Speaker 1>Help me? <v Speaker 2>Something about the DS? <v Speaker 1>You didn't said it yet though, so foggy. I usually <v Speaker 1>hated a lot of those gimmicks on the DS, like <v Speaker 1>having a blow in and the microphone whatever in Zelda <v Speaker 1>to blow out candles. But there was one I remember, <v Speaker 1>puzzle I got stuck on for a long time where <v Speaker 1>the map was on the screen and there was another <v Speaker 1>like something on the top screen, and it was like <v Speaker 1>you had to connect them in some way, and I <v Speaker 1>just couldn't figure it out. Like I spent like hours <v Speaker 1>trying to figure this out, and eventually I got bored <v Speaker 1>and I was like, I'll do it later, and I <v Speaker 1>closed the switch the DS and I heard it go <v Speaker 1>like like something got written or wrote, And then I <v Speaker 1>opened it back up and the top map had imprinted <v Speaker 1>with the bottom map because I put them together and <v Speaker 1>I was like, oh, that's actually I was, all of <v Speaker 1>a sudden not mad anymore. Yeah, I was like, that's <v Speaker 1>actually sick. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. I'm hopeful that if they have any gimmicky stuff <v Speaker 2>like that for this, that will be able to see <v Speaker 2>it more in useless time. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. So that's that's what I was getting to with <v Speaker 1>like this, like taking joy on ons off. Maybe like <v Speaker 1>in a Zelda game, there'll be some puzzle that's sold by. <v Speaker 2>Trying to minigame on. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, but like imagine like you're playing Zelda or something <v Speaker 1>and you walk into a dungeon and there's something like <v Speaker 1>on the ceiling and you're like, how do I get <v Speaker 1>to that? And you're trying and trying and you can't <v Speaker 1>figure it out, and then it just hits you. You <v Speaker 1>take the joy cons off, you turn the switch upside down, <v Speaker 1>put it back in, and the whole world shifts and <v Speaker 1>now you're on the seat. <v Speaker 2>That's pretty cool. <v Speaker 1>Stuff like that would be really cool to see. I'm <v Speaker 1>just spitballing, but anyway, my point that I was getting <v Speaker 1>to is usually I don't like doing titles and thumbs <v Speaker 1>for things that aren't like real things that I feel <v Speaker 1>passionately that are actually probably gonna happen, or that I've researched. <v Speaker 1>To be clear, this is just a fan mock up <v Speaker 1>of a double screen thing, but it's something and the <v Speaker 1>title I think reflects it in this episode, I'm just <v Speaker 1>trying to justify it. I'm not saying it's happening. I'm <v Speaker 1>saying could it happen? Because I think it could. I <v Speaker 1>think it's something that a lot of us have been <v Speaker 1>asking for or like suggesting it would be something that <v Speaker 1>we're interested in. And I really don't mind the concept. <v Speaker 1>So you see here this fan mock up of it <v Speaker 1>connecting in like that and then you're folding the screen down. <v Speaker 1>Now there's actually another reason here why I like this <v Speaker 1>concept in this idea because it protects your screen by default. <v Speaker 1>So now you've got this attachment that you can plug in. <v Speaker 1>It's a whole screen thing, but you close it, put <v Speaker 1>it in your pocket, put it in your bag. It's <v Speaker 1>like a self enclosed case. You don't need to have <v Speaker 1>a big bulky case. I mean you could if you <v Speaker 1>wanted to like fully protect everything, and I'll get scratches <v Speaker 1>on it, but it protects the screen, which is actually <v Speaker 1>really cool. This mock up also has some other ideas <v Speaker 1>that I want to look into, but let's focus on <v Speaker 1>this dull screen idea and what it could actually be <v Speaker 1>used for, so off the rip. One of the first things, obviously, <v Speaker 1>is we have the virtual console on the switch. I <v Speaker 1>don't know why I don't they're not on. Ham is <v Speaker 1>not here, I swear, I don't know why, but not on. <v Speaker 1>I don't know why. I don't know why that keeps happening. <v Speaker 2>Because it's spread there. <v Speaker 1>If you but then whatever, we have some I keep going. <v Speaker 6>Right. <v Speaker 1>I can't see Chat right now, and I've been scared <v Speaker 1>to pull it up because I don't want to see <v Speaker 1>them laughing at me. I don't know why. Well you're <v Speaker 1>not here, buddy, you're sick. I don't know if I <v Speaker 1>even want to see chat today, not because well I. <v Speaker 2>Like checking it, because you can have Something is wrong. <v Speaker 1>Everything is wrong, and I don't want to be laughed at. <v Speaker 1>Not in the mood God, what was I saying? I <v Speaker 1>told you, Kim before we went live. My brain is <v Speaker 1>not here today. I feel like I'm in the middle <v Speaker 1>of the biggest ADHD fit. In fact, speaking of God, <v Speaker 1>what a tangent that I shouldn't go on? We wanted <v Speaker 1>to get checked for actual ADHD because I always say <v Speaker 1>that I have ADHD because when I was a kid, <v Speaker 1>my brother and I were told that we had it <v Speaker 1>and he got medication, but they never thought they never <v Speaker 1>thought I was actually that bad. We were going for <v Speaker 1>him because he was a menace. When they found out <v Speaker 1>that we both had it, they were like, we'll just <v Speaker 1>give him the medication. The other one's doing fine. So <v Speaker 1>I've always just kind of said that I have it, <v Speaker 1>but I've never officially been like diagnosed as an adult <v Speaker 1>or like, so we last June, I called a clinic. <v Speaker 2>I just can I point out the irony, But they're <v Speaker 2>having people who are notoriously bad at waiting being put <v Speaker 2>on It's insaneous. <v Speaker 1>It's ridiculous, just a little bit. I called last June <v Speaker 1>to an adult clinic for testing for ADHD that's near here, <v Speaker 1>and they told me it was four hundred dollars for <v Speaker 1>an appointment and I was like, okay, sure, we didn't <v Speaker 1>have insurance at the time. I was like, I'll sink <v Speaker 1>it just because I want to know maybe we can <v Speaker 1>get prescription for something. They were like, but there's a <v Speaker 1>wait list of a few months. This was in June. <v Speaker 1>They called me Monday. I thought they'd forgotten about us. <v Speaker 1>They called me Monday and they were like, your time, <v Speaker 1>it's here. You can come in on Thursday. They said <v Speaker 1>today in the morning, and I was like great, and <v Speaker 1>they said yep, So for both you and your wife, <v Speaker 1>we need to have you come back for four appointments. <v Speaker 1>Four appointments before like it's a whole thing. They do <v Speaker 1>four separate appointments to diagnose. <v Speaker 2>You don't show up for one, they just automatically dino. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, if you if you forget one, maybe that's <v Speaker 1>the test. Maybe the whole four appointments thing is the test. <v Speaker 1>If you make it through or four you don't, you <v Speaker 1>don't have it. Yeah, you're fine. What are you talking about. Oh, <v Speaker 1>that's funny. Yeah. They were like, there's four appointments, so <v Speaker 1>all up for you and your wife. It's three four <v Speaker 1>hundred dollars each. No, no, no together. I thought you <v Speaker 1>said each no, And I was like, wait, I was <v Speaker 1>told it was four hundred dollars and they were like, <v Speaker 1>yeah for an appointment with this four appointment. You couldn't <v Speaker 1>have told me this a year ago when I called <v Speaker 1>a year ago now, So then I was like well, good, <v Speaker 1>we have insurance now. So I gave him on insurance <v Speaker 1>and they called me back and they were like, yeah, <v Speaker 1>you're not a network. So I was like, okay, thanks, <v Speaker 1>I waited a year for this. No, thank you. I <v Speaker 1>know I have it. I don't need to. I don't <v Speaker 1>need to spend three thousand dollars now. I just wanted <v Speaker 1>to make I wanted for maybe find medicine, and days <v Speaker 1>like today is when I need it because I literally <v Speaker 1>I don't know how to explain it to people that <v Speaker 1>don't have it. It feels like everything is happening in <v Speaker 1>my brain at once and nothing is happening. Like I <v Speaker 1>am moving at a hundred times speed and at the <v Speaker 1>same time I'm at zero speed. It's making me twitch. <v Speaker 1>I don't even know how to explain it. What was <v Speaker 1>I talking about? What was I you? Where it was? <v Speaker 2>I go backwards because I don't remember. <v Speaker 1>I'm so sorry, everybody. I'm just I'm just so not focused. <v Speaker 2>A very off day today. <v Speaker 1>I'm really struggling. I'm okay, I am okay. I'm just <v Speaker 1>really having trouble focusing and keeping my thoughts in a <v Speaker 1>straight line. Can you not just go to a regular doctor, <v Speaker 1>you know, I don't actually know it can we I <v Speaker 1>don't think so. I think you have to go to <v Speaker 1>a guy medication. <v Speaker 2>I think you have to go to a specialist. I'm <v Speaker 2>pretty sure I don't. I mean we can ask your <v Speaker 2>regular doctor and be like, hey mm, so I need <v Speaker 2>to pay this guy or no. <v Speaker 1>Someone said, try therapy. Yeah, we were in therapy for <v Speaker 1>a long time. We're on a break right now. But <v Speaker 1>the therapy we were trying to target ADHD for a <v Speaker 1>long time, and it sucked. It was taugh. It was <v Speaker 1>actually the only thing that I found really difficult to <v Speaker 1>work on. Everything else, working through my anxiety, my depression, <v Speaker 1>I made great progress. But every week she would be like, <v Speaker 1>so did you take notes and did you write things <v Speaker 1>down this week of what you wanted to do and <v Speaker 1>then get things done? And every week I was like no, <v Speaker 1>because it doesn't help. I try writing notes down. I <v Speaker 1>try getting a notebook and writing down everything I want <v Speaker 1>to do, and I'm like, great, that's everything I want <v Speaker 1>to do. Close never see it again. <v Speaker 2>Exactly what's the point. <v Speaker 1>I don't get like. I never go back to it and. <v Speaker 2>Go up planners thinking that that would work for me. <v Speaker 1>I have so many empty Planners's so many empty planners <v Speaker 1>because you. <v Speaker 2>Want to be that person, you want to be organized. <v Speaker 2>The only thing that's worked for us so far is <v Speaker 2>writing shit down on the refrigerator. <v Speaker 1>So the refrigerator is helping. And then I have like <v Speaker 1>a Google doc that I'm trying to like keep things on, <v Speaker 1>and sometimes I like I try and use like notes <v Speaker 1>on a phone, but the idea of like, oh this <v Speaker 1>is something I want to do, let me get my phone, <v Speaker 1>unlock it, open a notes pad, write it down and <v Speaker 1>be like, I don't know. I'm never going to do it. <v Speaker 1>If I'm not going to do it right, then I'm <v Speaker 1>not going to do it at all. Yeah, I don't <v Speaker 1>know how to. <v Speaker 2>I mean that pretty much sums it up. <v Speaker 1>I think we got to get We gotta get it. <v Speaker 1>People don't care, some people do care, and I love you. <v Speaker 1>I got to get back on track for those that <v Speaker 1>are hit and the Nintendo news. We have the Nintendo <v Speaker 1>Switch online apps, and we have game Boy, game Boy Advance, <v Speaker 1>whatever it is elsept that we have. Right, We're probably <v Speaker 1>not going to get things like game Cube and stuff <v Speaker 1>like that because Nintendo have already realized they can sell <v Speaker 1>those things back to us. But there are older things <v Speaker 1>from those same generations that we don't have that they <v Speaker 1>can't necessarily sell back to us, and it's because we <v Speaker 1>don't have a mean ways to play it. And those <v Speaker 1>are the double screen games, because there were whole generation, <v Speaker 1>two big generations from Nintendo with DS and three DS <v Speaker 1>that utilized two screens, and those games, just for a <v Speaker 1>lot of them don't import easily over to one screen. <v Speaker 1>Some of them do. They've done it for games like <v Speaker 1>Luigi's Mansion too, for example, but some are integral, integrally <v Speaker 1>need two screens at their core. So an attachment like <v Speaker 1>this could provide that. Now, Nintendo could do it in <v Speaker 1>a couple different ways. When they launched the N sixty <v Speaker 1>four library, for example, they launched that with the N <v Speaker 1>sixty four controller, which they have up there somewhere where <v Speaker 1>you could spend forty dollars or whatever it was and <v Speaker 1>buy the controller. See behind me, Oh, I guess I <v Speaker 1>could grab it for it. No, it's literally on camera. <v Speaker 2>Actually, yeah, you can see it. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. Now they could release a DS library and then <v Speaker 1>have like a I don't know how much this would <v Speaker 1>cost fifty bucks, sixty bucks a screen attachment. They could <v Speaker 1>call it the DS the ds X, I'll switch screen <v Speaker 1>something fun and you would order that, and then maybe <v Speaker 1>you would just use it for you know, maybe it's <v Speaker 1>just used for those Well maybe this is an attachment <v Speaker 1>that they release and they actually support it in some games. <v Speaker 1>I don't know. <v Speaker 2>It would be cool if they could figure out a <v Speaker 2>way to do it, because I know there's a lot <v Speaker 2>of games that they could bring over that or old <v Speaker 2>and they could also when they're making the new games <v Speaker 2>like the new Ninten Dogs or whatever the hell else <v Speaker 2>they're going to make, you know, you could use the <v Speaker 2>second screen for that. <v Speaker 1>Yes, so they definitely could. <v Speaker 2>That would be cool. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, definitely, they definitely could. So I think where they <v Speaker 1>would not support it is like they wouldn't make games <v Speaker 1>specifically for it or games that would require it, because <v Speaker 1>I feel like that obviously it's alienating and it's limiting. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>but they could support it in games for sure. They <v Speaker 1>could release something like Mario one to two, which plays <v Speaker 1>completely normally. Or if you have a screen attachment, I <v Speaker 1>don't know, maybe you're maybe you get like a larger <v Speaker 1>field of you Maybe some of the levels that have <v Speaker 1>like verticalness to it, you can see more of the level, <v Speaker 1>like just interesting supporting elements like that, or even like <v Speaker 1>if they do a new Zelda game, you play the <v Speaker 1>if you plug the screen in, you play the Zelda <v Speaker 1>game on the top screen like you would normally, but <v Speaker 1>any inventory management or whatever, you don't have to press <v Speaker 1>a button to open your inventory. It's always on the <v Speaker 1>bottom of the screen and you can see both at <v Speaker 1>the same time. I think that's really cool. It's again, <v Speaker 1>you don't need it. It's just kind of cool, especially <v Speaker 1>if you can fold it down and take it with you. <v Speaker 1>I think it's a really cool, really cool concept. So, <v Speaker 1>because my brain's on fire and not really working today, <v Speaker 1>I asked chat GBT, let me before I actually cut <v Speaker 1>that all of my chat gbt previous googles are here <v Speaker 1>on the and I want people knowing what I've been <v Speaker 1>chat gbting. So let me close that. Give me a recipe, <v Speaker 1>I have chicken. Let me see what in there. <v Speaker 2>Actually, it's literally just all switched. <v Speaker 1>It's all stuff about gaming. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, and now one recipe. I'm surprised there's. <v Speaker 1>One that just says clickbait title ideas I did you'd <v Speaker 1>read that, No, that would have been I've been I've <v Speaker 1>been using chat GBT pretty frequently lately for idea, just <v Speaker 1>concepts and ideas and things for videos, and sometimes when <v Speaker 1>I have like half a title in my brain but <v Speaker 1>I'm not quite there. Yeah, a last chat GBT to <v Speaker 1>clickbait it, which just means like make it punchy, make <v Speaker 1>it like clickable for YouTube. Obviously, nothing that's actually clickbait, <v Speaker 1>because if you've seen any of my videos recently, I <v Speaker 1>haven't been doing clickbait, but chat GBT has been helping me. <v Speaker 1>I did it for Ham's video recently. Ham did a <v Speaker 1>really cool stream where he was in New York City <v Speaker 1>in a taxi cab doing a game show and he <v Speaker 1>had a title and I asked Chad GBT to clickbait it, <v Speaker 1>and it just rearranged the title and made it way <v Speaker 1>more punchy. <v Speaker 2>Wow. <v Speaker 1>And then that's the one he ended up using. <v Speaker 2>That's pretty cool. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. Also, the when we filmed that Valentine's video, Yeah, <v Speaker 1>and all the footage got messed up, all the gameplay <v Speaker 1>for the game got messed up. I couldn't figure out <v Speaker 1>how to correct it, and I told chat GBT specifically, <v Speaker 1>this is why I love CHATGBT. I was like, and <v Speaker 1>this is going to sound bizarre to you, I said, <v Speaker 1>chat GBT. I act said, this is how I dressed <v Speaker 1>it did chat GBT. I accidentally recorded gameplay through OBS <v Speaker 1>in r e C twenty one thousand PQHDR mode because <v Speaker 1>it was left on from when I did my sony video, <v Speaker 1>my placetaging video. How do I revert that back to <v Speaker 1>r e C seven oh nine, And it gave me <v Speaker 1>off how to do it. I couldn't find it on <v Speaker 1>Google because it's so specifica it told me how to <v Speaker 1>do it. I had to download da Vinci because it <v Speaker 1>was the best way of doing it, and with one <v Speaker 1>click on da Vinci, it fixed it. It wasn't like <v Speaker 1>completely fixed, but it did what I asked. <v Speaker 2>It used to be you'd have to take Reddit at <v Speaker 2>the end of whatever. <v Speaker 1>Yes, well I did that. I did that first, but <v Speaker 1>my situation was so specific I needed something with like <v Speaker 1>an AI brain to understand what I was asking and <v Speaker 1>find a solution. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Sorry, I'm bit of a I'm a bit of a <v Speaker 1>chat GBT guy. <v Speaker 2>Now, I mean it's useful. <v Speaker 1>It's very useful. I know it has a lot of <v Speaker 1>misinformation on it, but if you use it for the <v Speaker 1>right thing, like what we're doing, here and you're going <v Speaker 1>to see that now. So I asked it, what can <v Speaker 1>we use or benefit from a two screen situation on switch? <v Speaker 1>So I just wanted to get some ideas to bounce <v Speaker 1>off of. So we had games like Zeuda, Fantom Hourglass, <v Speaker 1>and Spirit Tracks HD. And that is also a good point. <v Speaker 1>You could take these games, put them into HD and <v Speaker 1>re release them on a two screen setup. Yeah, Metro <v Speaker 1>Prime Hunters DX. I don't think anyone like Metro Prime <v Speaker 1>Hunters kid Icarus Oprising. People loved that game. The second <v Speaker 1>screen would allow gyro aiming while keeping the main action <v Speaker 1>on top. That's a good point because I don't think <v Speaker 1>the three DS had gyro. No it did, surely it didn't. <v Speaker 2>Talk about zombie you no three DS no no, but <v Speaker 2>oh right. <v Speaker 1>The kid Cherus on three DS was kind of hard <v Speaker 1>to play it actually when you bought the game. Initially, <v Speaker 1>it released with a little attachment that had a thumbstick <v Speaker 1>and you it came with the game and you would <v Speaker 1>plug it onto the side of the three DS so <v Speaker 1>that you could actually control the game. And if you <v Speaker 1>had a new three DSXL I don't know if you <v Speaker 1>ever saw one, but it had a little nub and <v Speaker 1>you could use that little nub, but it was really <v Speaker 1>it was horrible. So you're putting it on the switch <v Speaker 1>and allowing just gyro. Yeah, that'd be way better. I'm <v Speaker 1>gonna skip Wonderful one O one because no one likes <v Speaker 1>that game. Sorry. If you do Zombie you reducts. Man, <v Speaker 1>it just gave it a whole name here. Yeah, inventory <v Speaker 1>scanning and survival elements. You know, that's actually interesting because <v Speaker 1>Zombie You released on WU it needed the two screens, right, <v Speaker 1>but then it released on PlayStation five and Xbox. I'm <v Speaker 1>pretty sure under just zombie and it did away with <v Speaker 1>needing two screens, but Zombie never came to switch. So <v Speaker 1>they could do Zombie You two. <v Speaker 3>Or ZOMBIEU Reducks or whatever redo Zombie redoo that's. <v Speaker 1>Fine, and utilize the two screens and you could play <v Speaker 1>it the same way you could before. <v Speaker 2>That's a really cool idea. I do wonder with stuff <v Speaker 2>like this, with how oddly specific this is. How many <v Speaker 2>companies do you think are like going to chat EBT <v Speaker 2>and be like, I need an idea for a game. <v Speaker 1>A lot of people are using AI now I know <v Speaker 1>it honestly helps my brain so much like that switch <v Speaker 1>to video I made recently about with the switch to <v Speaker 1>doom to fail or whatever. When I was writing the <v Speaker 1>script and I just had like a like A I <v Speaker 1>can't even think of an example. But when I was <v Speaker 1>even something like, oh, I wonder how many copies of <v Speaker 1>this thing? So yeah, I would just ask chat GBT <v Speaker 1>and then I would keep writing and it would find <v Speaker 1>the answer for me while I was writing, and I'd <v Speaker 1>be like, Okay, cool, I put that in the script. <v Speaker 1>I'd keep going. Sometimes you'll google stuff like that and <v Speaker 1>you won't get an answer. <v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, I know. Any time I try to google something, <v Speaker 2>I have to type read it at the end of <v Speaker 2>it or something, you know, just to get the right answer. <v Speaker 1>Nintendo series, I could use a second screen, Uh, Pokemon <v Speaker 1>dual horizons? Are they just creating Pokemon games now? A <v Speaker 1>Pokemon game with the second screen acts as a Poke decks, <v Speaker 1>battle planner, or even ai a r AAR camera for <v Speaker 1>the Pokemon snap mechanics. Pokemon Tactics legends are real time <v Speaker 1>strategy fire emblems spin off with the second screen displays <v Speaker 1>enemy movements, terrain effects, or a full tactical map. Yo <v Speaker 1>Chat GBT kind of cooking. <v Speaker 2>I just feel like, Yeah, I'm wondering. I'm really wondering. <v Speaker 2>How many things are going to come out in the <v Speaker 2>next few years that were ideas by chat GPT that <v Speaker 2>they just don't get credible. <v Speaker 1>I don't know, I mean, I don't know. Yeah, Super <v Speaker 1>Mario Maker three a second screen would bring back touch <v Speaker 1>base level editing, Mario Pit Crew, a new Mario Cup <v Speaker 1>with real time pit stops, power up selection. I don't <v Speaker 1>know what. I don't know what that has to do <v Speaker 1>or anything. It's cute, though, it's just coming up with <v Speaker 1>ideas Platoon Incorps. <v Speaker 2>Maybe he's just waiting this whole time. He's like, finally <v Speaker 2>someone cares about my ideas. Here's what I've got, dude. <v Speaker 1>If Nintendo comes out with something called Splatoon inc Ops <v Speaker 1>and we called it here with chat GBT, that'd be hilarious. <v Speaker 1>One screen for fast third person action, the other for <v Speaker 1>real time map control, squad communication, and even rts like <v Speaker 1>coordinative feature. That makes me think of the Dynasty Warriors <v Speaker 1>games and like Hiro Warriors and stuff. A lot of <v Speaker 1>it is map control. You have to open your map <v Speaker 1>and send your troops places. If you could do that <v Speaker 1>in real time while you're playing, just keep your map <v Speaker 1>up so one screen is like you're actively playing and attacking, <v Speaker 1>and then you realize that an enemy troop is getting <v Speaker 1>our troops getting bombarded. You can like quickly just send <v Speaker 1>enemies over and keep playing. That's sick um. <v Speaker 6>New. <v Speaker 1>Im'd say allies over, not enemies. But what new gameplay <v Speaker 1>ideas and concepts? I don't know if we need to <v Speaker 1>read all of these asymmetrical multiplayer and local call op <v Speaker 1>Mario Party, Dual Dash. I did not ask it to <v Speaker 1>create all of these games, by the way, I meant more, <v Speaker 1>just like. <v Speaker 2>What just one to talk about these for a minute? <v Speaker 1>What games could we get here? Of course, hybrid call <v Speaker 1>op and competitive multiplayer Mario Party where one player sees <v Speaker 1>secret objectives or control special game events. I don't, I <v Speaker 1>don't know. You're out of control now. <v Speaker 2>He's just spitballing. <v Speaker 1>You know he's out of control and let him cook. <v Speaker 1>Second screen for chat GPT mm hmmm, what what ideas <v Speaker 1>do you guys have in chat for a possible second <v Speaker 1>screen usage? Could you increase the fund size? <v Speaker 2>Oh? <v Speaker 1>I totally can. I think I'm about to be done <v Speaker 1>with it though, to be honest, but yeah, sorry, sorry <v Speaker 1>about that. Or if you guys want me to ask <v Speaker 1>chat gbtr question, let me know. I'll ask it something, <v Speaker 1>whether through clamshell design or detachable second screen or even <v Speaker 1>a mobile companion app. They could take inspiration from the <v Speaker 1>DS and we you. Oh yeah, I talked a lot <v Speaker 1>about three DS and DS. But the WU also could <v Speaker 1>you could do like a Wiu library of games. <v Speaker 2>I just assumed that would happen just based on if <v Speaker 2>it had two screens. <v Speaker 1>Although now you think about it, every single WIU game, <v Speaker 1>I'm gonna cut back and everything's good. Every single WU <v Speaker 1>game is on the switch. They ported every single one over. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>they just made it so you only have to use <v Speaker 1>one screen for everything. Yeah, but if you wanted to, well, <v Speaker 1>why can't they just patch back in whatever the second <v Speaker 1>screen did so that when you played it with the <v Speaker 1>second screen, you can play it like the WI you <v Speaker 1>played it. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Maybe just saying there's ideas we're cooking out here, commanding Cogner. Interesting. <v Speaker 1>I think the easier option for a second screen is <v Speaker 1>just second USBC to connect to the TV without DOC. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I was thinking that too. To be honest with <v Speaker 2>the to just have the two screens, I may not <v Speaker 2>have to bring one with you. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. Yeah, mm hmm. <v Speaker 2>Well well that's of the way you worked though, isn't it. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. Yeah, I was gonna say I already kind of <v Speaker 1>theorized in one of my videos that maybe the C <v Speaker 1>button is cast or there's some sort of casting function <v Speaker 1>where you can cast to the dock and your TV <v Speaker 1>and have the switch on and actively using it while <v Speaker 1>it's casting to the TV, maybe wirelessly or through the internet, <v Speaker 1>so you can get that wi you effect, and then <v Speaker 1>a second screen just allows you to take that concept <v Speaker 1>on the go. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>So I also think that, like as silly as it <v Speaker 1>might seem to some people, for two screens or for <v Speaker 1>any of these concepts, nintender has been doing a lot <v Speaker 1>of putting all of their ideas into one basket. That's <v Speaker 1>what the switch was. It took elements from all their <v Speaker 1>other and even there are all their games and improving <v Speaker 1>on them, but mashing them all into one idea. But <v Speaker 1>one idea that was truly left behind in the wake <v Speaker 1>of all of this is two screens. <v Speaker 2>Yep. <v Speaker 1>And clearly it was something that in tend to cared about. <v Speaker 1>I mean they liked they did it for their handheld <v Speaker 1>and their home console. <v Speaker 2>With the wu it was definitely something they were doing. <v Speaker 1>There was something they were doing. It was something they <v Speaker 1>did for like ten years, if not more, Yeah, and <v Speaker 1>they had to do away with it. So I don't <v Speaker 1>think it's that crazy to think that the Switch to <v Speaker 1>could bring even more of those concepts together and at <v Speaker 1>home with a second screen. And again, it's just a <v Speaker 1>little funsie attachment thing. It's not something that would be <v Speaker 1>every game or necessity. <v Speaker 2>It's just it's an option. And that's like that was <v Speaker 2>their whole thing for a minute. It was accessories for <v Speaker 2>the Switch. So I feel like we're going to see <v Speaker 2>a lot of really interesting accessories for this yeah, because <v Speaker 2>they're like, they know you want them now. <v Speaker 1>Well, we've been talking about it for a while. And <v Speaker 1>also the Switch did a great job at reaching into <v Speaker 1>the back catalog from a lot of their games like <v Speaker 1>We You and then with then Intend to Switch Online <v Speaker 1>as but moving forward into Switch Too, unless we find <v Speaker 1>a way to reach into these other libraries from those <v Speaker 1>other generations, we're kind of out of things for Nintendo <v Speaker 1>to bring to the Switch Online app. We're kind of <v Speaker 1>out of concepts and ideas and games for Nintendo to <v Speaker 1>reach into the back history of Ye. But adding this <v Speaker 1>second screen idea, it opens up like three different consoles. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>although again the weu is doesn't have many games, and <v Speaker 1>a lot of them are already on the console, but <v Speaker 1>it does open up those three consoles to being fully accessible. <v Speaker 2>I do wonder if there's going to be like a <v Speaker 2>headset sort of situation at any point. <v Speaker 1>Headset you mean for VR. Yeah, well, I was going <v Speaker 1>to talk about that because a lot of people have <v Speaker 1>been talking about VR with Nintendo, and maybe these these <v Speaker 1>extra USB slots are used for VA. <v Speaker 2>I'm just wondering. <v Speaker 1>I don't think it's a bad idea. I think, just <v Speaker 1>like with the two screens, something else Nintendo has clearly <v Speaker 1>always had some sort of an interest in is the <v Speaker 1>idea of virtual reality. They've never really fully committed to anything, <v Speaker 1>but the two main places, or the two really only <v Speaker 1>places where they did is back in the nineties with <v Speaker 1>the Vial they released the Virtual Boy, which they clearly <v Speaker 1>they were interested in that. And I think Nintendo is <v Speaker 1>the kind of company where they have a certain level <v Speaker 1>of like pride, and also they stand by their ideals <v Speaker 1>and I think they they love the concept, but they <v Speaker 1>they know it wasn't the right time or the right idea, <v Speaker 1>and people also weren't really ready for it. People still <v Speaker 1>now don't aren't really in VR. <v Speaker 2>It's not as big as I would have imagined it <v Speaker 2>would have been. <v Speaker 1>I agree with you. I am actually surprised to be. <v Speaker 2>Way more popular. But I think part of that is <v Speaker 2>it's so inaccessible with the price point that it's at. Like, <v Speaker 2>I mean, we were looking at one, what was that <v Speaker 2>that haptic vest that you saw at Target, was like. <v Speaker 1>Well, the haptic vest is a is a nicety, it's <v Speaker 1>a luxury. <v Speaker 2>But like, but I agree, pricing is crazy. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, well, I agree, I do agree. I agree that <v Speaker 1>the headsets are expensive, the buying is expensive. <v Speaker 2>If you want any accessors are expensive. <v Speaker 1>I mean we saw the haptic vest and it was <v Speaker 1>like seven hundred dollars, which is a lot for an <v Speaker 1>accessor any games with it. I think that inaccessibility goes <v Speaker 1>even deeper though, because not only is the headset expensive, <v Speaker 1>the library of games is unique to VR. You only <v Speaker 1>have a set selection of VR games. There aren't many <v Speaker 1>big budget experiences you have like Skyr and VR Fallout VA. <v Speaker 1>But then after those they really stopped taking mainstream games <v Speaker 1>and making them just. <v Speaker 2>Very VR specific games. It's like oddly specific to the <v Speaker 2>point where like if you're. <v Speaker 1>Not interested and a lot of your shooting things, a <v Speaker 1>lot of shooting games, but then also the inaccessibility and <v Speaker 1>needing to actually put on the headset and like gett <v Speaker 1>all like gussied up with everything. <v Speaker 2>You get nauseous five minutes to get nauseous. <v Speaker 1>A lot of people can't even handle it because of <v Speaker 1>the motion sickness, So. <v Speaker 2>I can't do it. <v Speaker 1>Even through all of that, it surprises me that VR <v Speaker 1>isn't popular, but I guess doesn't surprise me based on <v Speaker 1>everything we just said. <v Speaker 2>It has its set of problems. <v Speaker 1>Like even I am a I'm a big advocate for <v Speaker 1>VR and talk about it as much as other things, <v Speaker 1>but I do love VR. I have a quest too. <v Speaker 1>I downloaded Metro Awakening VR the other day because I <v Speaker 1>was like, it's time I want to jump into VR. <v Speaker 1>And that game is like a big budget, kind of <v Speaker 1>fun VR game that's an actual VR game, not just <v Speaker 1>some tech demo. And I was playing it for like <v Speaker 1>two hours and I was really enjoying it, and then <v Speaker 1>I got a little nauseous YEP, and I was like, <v Speaker 1>I need to take a break. And that's just not <v Speaker 1>really even for me, it's not it doesn't make me <v Speaker 1>want to pick it back up again the next day. <v Speaker 2>Also, Yeah, that makes the retention rate for those types <v Speaker 2>of games really bad. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, they can't keep people playing because they can only <v Speaker 1>people can play so long. Every time I get done playing, <v Speaker 1>I take the headset off, my face is all red. <v Speaker 1>I feel like I'm walking out of a bomb shelter. <v Speaker 1>I feel exhausted physically and mentally, like I don't know, <v Speaker 1>it's so draining, and it literally is like the next day, <v Speaker 1>I'm like, I just want to chill and play like <v Speaker 1>a normal game. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, so I can see why they don't prioritize it, <v Speaker 2>but I do think there's probably gonna be some element <v Speaker 2>of that with a headset with the switch. <v Speaker 1>That's what I was gonna say. So what did they. <v Speaker 2>Call it the Labo thing? I feel like that was <v Speaker 2>just a test to see if. <v Speaker 1>They could do it, So that's what I was getting to. <v Speaker 1>So they tried it with the Virtual Boy, and then <v Speaker 1>with the Switch. They did try VR again with the <v Speaker 1>Labor where you made up your own little headset, and <v Speaker 1>then there were some VR experiences with Labor. But then <v Speaker 1>they also even patched in some updates for Mario Odyssey, <v Speaker 1>Smash Brothers, and Breath of the Wild where if you <v Speaker 1>connected the labor and you put it up to your <v Speaker 1>face you could turn on VR mode. Now, they were <v Speaker 1>horrible because to explain it, I know a lot of <v Speaker 1>people know, but the reason why you get motion sick <v Speaker 1>most of the time if you've tried VR in the <v Speaker 1>last ten fifteen years, is because the refresh rate in <v Speaker 1>the glasses and the frame rate in the technology was <v Speaker 1>never high enough to match up with what we actually <v Speaker 1>experience in the real world. So when you're strapped into <v Speaker 1>a world but the frame rates really low, the refresh <v Speaker 1>rate is low, it almost feels like you're having what's <v Speaker 1>like with vertigo. And it freaks me out even thinking <v Speaker 1>about it, because it's almost like anxiety. It is, and <v Speaker 1>it makes you that's what makes you nauseous. So the <v Speaker 1>technology has come a long way, and things like PSVR <v Speaker 1>two in the Latest Quest have really great refresh rates <v Speaker 1>and frame rates where you shouldn't get nauseous from that. <v Speaker 1>You'll only get nauseous if like your brain just can't <v Speaker 1>handle being in VR or whatever. Yeah, but the switch <v Speaker 1>screen is seven twenty p or whatever for thirty frames, <v Speaker 1>and then for it to work in VR the way <v Speaker 1>that it does with you putting it against your face, <v Speaker 1>it actually splits the screen in half. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I saw that. <v Speaker 1>And then it by doing that it lowers the reframe, <v Speaker 1>the frame rate, and I believe the it lowers the resolution, <v Speaker 1>frame rates and refresh rates in half for each eye. <v Speaker 1>So now you've got like fifteen frames and fifteen hertz <v Speaker 1>refresh rate or whatever low resolution in each eye. So <v Speaker 1>trying to do for me, trying to do anything in <v Speaker 1>labor for those games was a no go. Couldn't handle it. Also, <v Speaker 1>it's also just not great because you were quite literally <v Speaker 1>doing this like you're putting the switch up to your <v Speaker 1>face anyway. So what they could do with the switch too, <v Speaker 1>though by you utilizing this feature, is if they released <v Speaker 1>an actual headset, they actually released an accessory that had <v Speaker 1>glasses and you somehow connected this as your base. That <v Speaker 1>would be sick because it would make it a somewhat <v Speaker 1>portable VR that would technically be more powerful than even <v Speaker 1>the Quest three were technically because the Question three has <v Speaker 1>baked in components in it where you can play games <v Speaker 1>locally on it, But the switch to is going to <v Speaker 1>be able to outperform that. The other option is they <v Speaker 1>have it where you look directly at it. No, but <v Speaker 1>that hopefully assuming that the screen can do and if <v Speaker 1>Nintendo were planning on doing this, this is what they <v Speaker 1>would have to do. If the screen can do one <v Speaker 1>hundred and twenty hurts, then you could split it in <v Speaker 1>half and have sixty hurts each eye, which means you <v Speaker 1>could get up to sixty frames in each eye, which <v Speaker 1>would mean the switch would have to be putting out <v Speaker 1>one hundred and twenty frames, which is I think I <v Speaker 1>could be getting all this wrong. That is pretty insane. <v Speaker 1>But if the VR games are pretty low key and <v Speaker 1>like minimal, that could be possible. <v Speaker 2>They would have to be scaled back mass. <v Speaker 1>Could be possible. But either way, you could get sixty <v Speaker 1>hurts in each eye, so that could also But in <v Speaker 1>that case you're not actually using the USB cord anyway, <v Speaker 1>so that's a different conversation. <v Speaker 2>I don't know. I just think there's a lot of <v Speaker 2>potential for it, and there's a lot of ips that <v Speaker 2>Nintendo could use the VR four that a lot of <v Speaker 2>companies can't, Like can you imagine a VR Pokemon game? <v Speaker 1>Yeah? I could, I couldn't. Actually I could The only <v Speaker 1>reason why I would entertain it too is because because <v Speaker 1>it sounds silly doing VR in any kind of concept <v Speaker 1>right now. But Nintendo have had that interest in VR <v Speaker 1>in the past, and I don't think Nintendo are beyond <v Speaker 1>trying something that fails. If it's just like an accessory <v Speaker 1>for a console. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I don't think they're going to like abandon a <v Speaker 2>whole console to do VR instead. I think it's going <v Speaker 2>to have to be an attack. <v Speaker 1>But they would absolutely release an attachment and then abandon <v Speaker 1>the attachment. Yeah, I could see that happen, which is, <v Speaker 1>you know, if they want to try it out and the. <v Speaker 2>People don't like it, it's great if it doesn't. <v Speaker 1>You tried, you know, So yeah, people people definitely theorize that, Okay, <v Speaker 1>let's keep going on this trailer. There's a little bit <v Speaker 1>left on it, and I find it interesting at least <v Speaker 1>I'm pretty sure it's THISTRALI. Yeah, So they take the <v Speaker 1>screen off and they put a little camera on top <v Speaker 1>that spins either side. So this I like a lot <v Speaker 1>of people were theorizing that maybe the switch to would <v Speaker 1>have a camera. We now know that it does, like <v Speaker 1>actually on the unit part of where that came from <v Speaker 1>is the extra C button. People were like, does that <v Speaker 1>mean camera? So clearly not at this point, because you <v Speaker 1>wouldn't put a button on a console that does nothing <v Speaker 1>if you don't have the thing attached. But the add <v Speaker 1>on camera is a cool idea, I think, because then <v Speaker 1>Nintendo can dive back into the augmented reality stuff. I <v Speaker 1>don't know if you ever tried on the three DS. <v Speaker 1>The three DS initially came with these cards that you <v Speaker 1>could put on the table and then point the three <v Speaker 1>DS camera at them and a little Nintendo character. <v Speaker 2>Oh I saw that. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I didn't have it, so if you look through <v Speaker 1>the three DS it looked like there was something in <v Speaker 1>your room. Yeah, they could do that, or they could <v Speaker 1>just you know, connect type games, connect type game, or <v Speaker 1>they could just have a camera. It could just be <v Speaker 1>a camera. <v Speaker 2>There's so many games that they could do with that though. <v Speaker 1>They could, and then games you could also do and <v Speaker 1>this would be interesting live streaming straight from the console. <v Speaker 1>So a lot of consoles now obviously, like PlayStation and Xbox, <v Speaker 1>you can live stream directly from those consoles. PlayStation since <v Speaker 1>PlayStation four, maybe even three, but definitely four, you could <v Speaker 1>connect to camera to it and live stream directly from <v Speaker 1>the console to Twitch and the switch one you could <v Speaker 1>live stream, no, sorry, you could. You could upload your <v Speaker 1>captures directly to Twitter. And I think a lot of <v Speaker 1>this is ways of Nintendo finally getting with the times <v Speaker 1>and finding a way to bob message to me and <v Speaker 1>I can't stop thinking about it. Let me see what <v Speaker 1>you're saying. Making sure he's not watching the show. Okay, <v Speaker 1>he's not finding ways to share clips and get the <v Speaker 1>word out about games, right. So I could see them <v Speaker 1>leaning into the times and matching PlayStation's energy with the <v Speaker 1>live streaming. With this, you have a camera, you live <v Speaker 1>stream tiers of the Kingdom directly from your switch. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. I think a camera is just a very very <v Speaker 2>highly part possible accessory that they're going to do because <v Speaker 2>they didn't do one last time. Yeah. <v Speaker 1>I think a camera has obviously it hasn't many many uses. <v Speaker 1>I think it was the Wei or the we you <v Speaker 1>where you could scan your face and it makes it me. <v Speaker 1>I think that must have been the WIU because it <v Speaker 1>had a camera on the on the pad. Yeah, which <v Speaker 1>is another thing. You know. Again, I keep talking about <v Speaker 1>Nintendo bringing their ideas together, the DSi and the WEIU <v Speaker 1>and a lot of those consoles, the three DS, they <v Speaker 1>had a camera, and that was missing last generation. What <v Speaker 1>was missing last generation from what was on both home <v Speaker 1>home consoles and handheld previously a second screen and a camera. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>so those are you could find a way to add <v Speaker 1>them back in. And then again, a lot of those <v Speaker 1>older games that required a camera or used a camera, <v Speaker 1>now you can bring them, bring. <v Speaker 2>Them all over. I wouldn't be surprised if we get <v Speaker 2>either of those. <v Speaker 1>I also mean neither. I also prefer these things being <v Speaker 1>an attachment. Yeah, because if you don't have any interest <v Speaker 1>in it, you don't have to pay for that hardware <v Speaker 1>to be baked into your console. It's not unnecessary hardware <v Speaker 1>that's going to jack up the price. <v Speaker 2>I also think that it would probably have lowered the <v Speaker 2>quality of a lot of the other innards of the switch. <v Speaker 2>If they had planned to put the camera in there <v Speaker 2>the whole time, I think they would have had to <v Speaker 2>cheap out on something. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, you'd have to lower price so adding I mean <v Speaker 1>you have to imagine adding in a camera for me, <v Speaker 1>and I would just guess like fifty bucks for camera <v Speaker 1>to add in a camera to something. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, but if they if they weren't going to raise <v Speaker 2>the price at all. <v Speaker 1>They would cheap out on something, but you got to <v Speaker 1>save that fifty bucks? <v Speaker 2>H exactly, And how are you going to do that? <v Speaker 2>You know? Yeah, I would rather just not have it. <v Speaker 1>I agree, Yeah, I definitely agree. Also, adding a camera <v Speaker 1>like that reminds me so much of the Game Boy color. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>when you would add the little camera. H I gotta <v Speaker 1>blow my noise real bad. Oh sorry, sorry about that. <v Speaker 1>I don't know whether the way over that. I'm gonna <v Speaker 1>go get him. Can you, uh, can you talk to <v Speaker 1>him for a second for me? Yeah? Sure, you can <v Speaker 1>look at chatters. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, let's see what's what we got going on? How's <v Speaker 2>everybody feel about the camera? Do we love him? Do <v Speaker 2>we hate him? Slide screen? Someone saying instead of a <v Speaker 2>foldable what a slide screen? Instead of a foldable screen. <v Speaker 1>Slide it wet? Yeah, slide it wet. <v Speaker 2>Elaborate iris were listening. <v Speaker 1>What do you mean by slide? I think I blue <v Speaker 1>snot into my hair. I just washed it too, literally <v Speaker 1>right before I went live. <v Speaker 2>I'm waiting for the clarification on the sliding screen can here? <v Speaker 1>Yeah, sorry about that. <v Speaker 2>I'm interested in the sliding screen option. I just want <v Speaker 2>to know what it's going to do. <v Speaker 1>I'm telling you, it's just not my day. M Yeah, <v Speaker 1>I'm interested in the slide screen option. I don't know <v Speaker 1>what you mean by slide screen. I almost I prefer <v Speaker 1>the clam don't. I'm trying to figure out why you <v Speaker 1>were laughing for a second. Don't stop. You are you <v Speaker 1>are a mother, You're a mother to a future child, <v Speaker 1>young lady. I will not hear this kind of talk. <v Speaker 1>All right, all right, I think we exhausted that. People <v Speaker 1>saying BlackBerry slide phone. <v Speaker 2>But how would how would that work? <v Speaker 1>No, I don't think it was. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, like a slide phone, she's saying. But I don't. <v Speaker 2>I can't visualize it. <v Speaker 1>I don't really understand how that would work. No, I <v Speaker 1>don't get it. <v Speaker 2>I can't figure it out in my head. <v Speaker 1>I think the clamshell is just cooler. I think it's <v Speaker 1>just cooler. <v Speaker 2>I think Madgie exclaimer switch bye. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, you get the camera on it too. You're on <v Speaker 1>a front. I'm not talking to you anymore. <v Speaker 2>No. <v Speaker 1>I think the whole clamshell things coming back in a <v Speaker 1>cool way, like your phone doesn't your phone's a clamshell. <v Speaker 1>I think the slide feature is it just gives early <v Speaker 1>two thousands, and I think I think not. I think <v Speaker 1>I don't know what I'm trying to say. I think <v Speaker 1>that I think the slide feels dated for some reason, <v Speaker 1>and the clam feels retro in a cool way, like <v Speaker 1>the clams. <v Speaker 2>Coming to pass for the slide. You're thinking, there's not <v Speaker 2>enough time for the slide, about another decade. <v Speaker 1>No one's doing the slide. Everyone wants to do the clam. <v Speaker 1>You started it. <v Speaker 2>I'm trying my best. <v Speaker 1>You started it, not to laugh, and you're just making this. <v Speaker 1>I got a couple other things if we want to <v Speaker 1>breeze past it. I mean, I could probably theorize things <v Speaker 1>all day, or we could get chat Chip to do <v Speaker 1>it for us. But there are a couple other things <v Speaker 1>to talk about. One's kind of depressing, unfortunately. Uh, I <v Speaker 1>think it is. I don't know if anybody cares. My <v Speaker 1>Nintendo gold Points will be discontinued on March twenty fourth, <v Speaker 1>So the gold points are going away. Now what did <v Speaker 1>you get with those? So what you would do with this? <v Speaker 1>And this was actually one of my more controversial videos, <v Speaker 1>and we'll talk about that in a second, but what <v Speaker 1>you would do with the gold points? Kim believe is <v Speaker 1>and correct me if I'm wrong, Chat, and the gold <v Speaker 1>coins are something else, but I believe it. But I believe. <v Speaker 1>I believe it's only one kind of gold currency when <v Speaker 1>you would download a game from the e shop. Now, <v Speaker 1>I'm wondering if I'm wrong about this, but I don't, Chat, <v Speaker 1>please let me know. When you download a game from <v Speaker 1>the e shop, you notice it says this game's earns <v Speaker 1>you like one hundred gold coins or something. And then <v Speaker 1>even and people actually don't know this, and this is <v Speaker 1>where my controversial video comes into play. Even when you <v Speaker 1>buy a game physically and you put it into your switch, <v Speaker 1>you can press the Nintendo App button and claim gold <v Speaker 1>coins from the physical as well. So every time you <v Speaker 1>buy a game you can gain gold coins. You can <v Speaker 1>use those as currency on the e shop actual like tender. <v Speaker 1>So if you collect a thousand gold coins, I believe <v Speaker 1>that's ten dollars. <v Speaker 2>Wow. <v Speaker 1>So you can literally go to the e shop and <v Speaker 1>just download a ten dollar game for free. <v Speaker 2>Well not for free, you paid into the. <v Speaker 1>Kind of yeah, I mean it's kind of for free. <v Speaker 2>It's like they're giving you loyalty points. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's like when you go BEFO when you go <v Speaker 1>to a coffee shop ten times, you get a I <v Speaker 1>mean it's free coffee. You've paid to get there, but <v Speaker 1>it's free. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's how they get you. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, but it is free. It is a free coffee. <v Speaker 2>It is straight up exactly who they're looking for, all right. <v Speaker 1>I think it's free. Where the controversial video came into <v Speaker 1>play as I made a video once called had to <v Speaker 1>get any Nintendo Switch game for free? Oh yeah, well <v Speaker 1>it's true. It's literally true. <v Speaker 2>Points you could buy any game. <v Speaker 1>If you have enough points, you could get any game <v Speaker 1>you wanted. People got really annoyed on that video for <v Speaker 1>two reasons, one of my most controversial videos. One because <v Speaker 1>there was a whole side of people that was like, yeah, <v Speaker 1>we all know about this, which is wild because most <v Speaker 1>people don't know about that. Most people don't know that <v Speaker 1>was a thing you can what, well, you will watch me, <v Speaker 1>So this might be a bad test. But one in <v Speaker 1>chat if you didn't know you could claim gold coins <v Speaker 1>on physical games by going into. <v Speaker 2>Seven and if you just downloaded. <v Speaker 1>I feel like it's not something that is widely I have. <v Speaker 2>Never gone in with like my physical card and claim <v Speaker 2>that I don't know that was an option to I. <v Speaker 1>Know about it, and even I forget to do it <v Speaker 1>every single time. <v Speaker 2>You you can do it. <v Speaker 1>Honestly, you can do it for every game. So if <v Speaker 1>I put in every game here, I should do that <v Speaker 1>for a video. <v Speaker 2>That should be a video. Hurry up and do it <v Speaker 2>before March. <v Speaker 1>I could probably get an insane amount of gold plant. Yes, <v Speaker 1>there's a lot of see even right now after I <v Speaker 1>made my video, there's one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, <v Speaker 1>and they're still coming in. Obviously a lot of twos <v Speaker 1>as well. It seems to be about a fifty to <v Speaker 1>fifty split. But there are people that don't know. So <v Speaker 1>I made the video this is how you do it. <v Speaker 1>Half people were upset because they were like everybody knows. <v Speaker 1>The other half was like I never knew about this, <v Speaker 1>I don't know what physical And the other half people <v Speaker 1>upset was because realistically, a normal person that didn't buy <v Speaker 1>every Switch game, you could maybe maybe a mass like <v Speaker 1>five ten dollars worth of coins in you know, months <v Speaker 1>to a year. But still my point is, I mean <v Speaker 1>you can still buy a game for five dollars ten dollars. <v Speaker 1>A lot of people clicked on hoping to find some <v Speaker 1>hack to get Breath of the World for free right away. <v Speaker 2>Okay, well, I mean you have to know going into <v Speaker 2>it there's going to be some stipulation. <v Speaker 1>This was a catch. But also, by the way, if <v Speaker 1>if you didn't know about the physical thing, and then <v Speaker 1>you found out in that video and you went and <v Speaker 1>put every single game in, you probably you might be <v Speaker 1>I don't know something. I don't know how many games <v Speaker 1>you got. But anyway, that's going away. So the gold <v Speaker 1>coins already had about a year lifespan, which I didn't know. <v Speaker 1>Oh shoot, I know, so for the I know that's <v Speaker 1>another part of my video, Kim. So for the first <v Speaker 1>three or four years, I was collecting all of my coins, <v Speaker 1>and every time they would add to it, I was like, <v Speaker 1>I swear that's less than what I had. But okay, <v Speaker 1>I'm saving I'm saving up, just like I did with <v Speaker 1>my game stop points. I was like, I'm saving up. <v Speaker 1>At some point I found out I was just pissing <v Speaker 1>them away, yep, because not only can you use them <v Speaker 1>for like a whole purchase, but when you go to <v Speaker 1>check out, they'll say, like, you have one hundred coins, <v Speaker 1>do you want to put it towards your total and <v Speaker 1>you'll save a dollar and I would always say no, <v Speaker 1>I'm like, no, I'm saving them. Three years later, what <v Speaker 1>did I save? Nothing? I wasted money last But regardless <v Speaker 1>or it, whole, the whole concept is going away discontinued <v Speaker 1>March twenty fourth. So if you have any gold coins <v Speaker 1>on your account, now is the time to use them. <v Speaker 1>On top of that, if you're sitting on physical games <v Speaker 1>that you haven't put into your switch and I think <v Speaker 1>I might be wrong, but I think you hit the <v Speaker 1>red the red icon here, the Nintendo Switch Online red <v Speaker 1>icon on the far left. Let me see if I <v Speaker 1>can do it right now for the game that's in here. Actually, <v Speaker 1>you're going to do it once per game on one account, <v Speaker 1>and then depending on how much the game costs, will <v Speaker 1>equate to how many points you get. Something Yeah, something <v Speaker 1>like that. Actually, no, maybe it's not that. Maybe you <v Speaker 1>click on the game itself and then my Nintendo Rewards <v Speaker 1>earned gold points. Yeah, okay, so sorry, you go to <v Speaker 1>so this is form? Can you open that for me? <v Speaker 1>I want to see what game I think Batan Katos <v Speaker 1>is in there. Actually, I want to give it a <v Speaker 1>shot now and see how much I get. So, yeah, <v Speaker 1>go to all your physical games, put them all in <v Speaker 1>and do what I'm about to tell you. Get all <v Speaker 1>those gold coins and then immediately pick something on the <v Speaker 1>e shop and buy it. So right now I have <v Speaker 1>Baton Katos in here. We'll see if this works because <v Speaker 1>I bought this in Japan. My rewards you press sorry. <v Speaker 1>I'm not sorry. I'm doing a bad job. I'm doing <v Speaker 1>a bad job at everything today. Go to the game, <v Speaker 1>hit start on the game, Go to the My Nintendo <v Speaker 1>Rewards program at the bottom, and then earn gold points <v Speaker 1>game card version only. Click on that. Then it will <v Speaker 1>proxy your account and then click on the account you <v Speaker 1>want to earn the points for. You cannot colleck points <v Speaker 1>for the software in the country currently. <v Speaker 5>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>I think it's because it's because I got the Japanese one. <v Speaker 1>So that's a bad example. Can you open that again? <v Speaker 1>I actually do you want to follow through on this? <v Speaker 1>Let me grab one of my American. <v Speaker 2>Game Okay, trying to open this ship again. Yeah, trying <v Speaker 2>to do with the chats that going on? Oh the <v Speaker 2>plus sign they're saying, Yeah, that's what that's the better <v Speaker 2>descript all. <v Speaker 1>Right, we're gonna do it for Hopefully my game's in here. <v Speaker 1>You know Plade three. <v Speaker 4>Games. <v Speaker 1>I'm pretty sure I didn't do it. I mean, I <v Speaker 1>don't do it for any of them. <v Speaker 2>So I'm pretty sure you could go through your entire <v Speaker 2>collection and find maybe one that you remember to do <v Speaker 2>it for. <v Speaker 1>There should be a full banker as well. This is <v Speaker 1>a sixty dollars game. <v Speaker 2>So six dollars we're guessing, or six hundred points. <v Speaker 1>Interestingly, I also can't do it for this game, so <v Speaker 1>I guess it has to be the region of the game. <v Speaker 1>So let me go to my American account see if <v Speaker 1>it works for that. You cannot collect mind intended points <v Speaker 1>for the software as the expiration date has passed. Oh no, <v Speaker 1>so you so the game has to have come out. <v Speaker 2>Reason No, Oh that ruins your video. <v Speaker 1>Sorry, Well, now what do I do? <v Speaker 2>Well? <v Speaker 1>I got to find a game that came out in <v Speaker 1>the last year. <v Speaker 2>Oh j new Marios, your brother ships and whatever the hell? <v Speaker 1>Oh we are we are learning, we are learning together. <v Speaker 2>Well, I mean that's a little disappointing, to be honest. <v Speaker 2>Where's my Oh yeah, yeah, they're telling you in the <v Speaker 2>chat before you found out. <v Speaker 8>Oh, I'm so sorry. See, and this is what my <v Speaker 8>video was about. There's so much misinformation. Here paper, Mario, <v Speaker 8>one thousand year dog? Can you actually that's sealed? I <v Speaker 8>never played it. <v Speaker 1>I really to play it. Could you open it for me? <v Speaker 2>Don't know if I can. You got nails, You got it, nails, <v Speaker 2>but they never worked for this. <v Speaker 1>I don't know what you well, I was trying to <v Speaker 1>get the mic away from it. <v Speaker 2>Because you're but angry. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, you're clicking into the microphone. Zouda. Yeah, I was <v Speaker 1>trying to find echoes, but it wasn't in my little box. <v Speaker 1>Hold on, let me, I'll take this microphone for a walk. <v Speaker 1>Let me see if I can find isn't. This is great. <v Speaker 1>This is really good podcasting right now. So behind and <v Speaker 1>now Kim's talking and I took a microphone. Oh my god. <v Speaker 1>We'll just wait for Kim to open the paper. Maria, <v Speaker 1>Oh my god, come on, what do you want to <v Speaker 1>we're doing a show here, Kimberly, you can't be opening things. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>grab this, damn. I'm determined to get this to work. <v Speaker 2>All right. <v Speaker 1>Well, now we know it has to be a game <v Speaker 1>that came out recently. What's the window chat? I'm going <v Speaker 1>to guess a year you okay, wow, way to find out? Now? <v Speaker 1>When Nintendo hasn't put out any games. <v Speaker 2>In a year. Damn. <v Speaker 1>All right, here we go one one last time. My <v Speaker 1>Nintendo old girl old earned gold points. I'm dying old <v Speaker 1>golfriend coins. Ah, we did it finally so that this <v Speaker 1>will add sixty coins. Was this game sixty dollars? Was paper? <v Speaker 1>Was this sixty dollars? <v Speaker 2>Yeah? Everybody was mad about that? <v Speaker 1>Chat? Was this sixty dollars for paper? Mario thousand year <v Speaker 1>do all? <v Speaker 2>Yeah? Everybody was like, what it's a re release? <v Speaker 1>Who would buy that? <v Speaker 2>You did? <v Speaker 1>Yeah? And I'm being silly. I did not know that <v Speaker 1>was sixty I didn't even I didn't even open it. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>this will give me sixty gold coins to my account, <v Speaker 1>which equates to sixty cents. <v Speaker 2>That's ugly. <v Speaker 1>It is a little I guess I suppose. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, listen, if they even expire? Cool, you know, because. <v Speaker 1>Then you yeah, I know, if they didn't expire, Yeah. <v Speaker 2>Come up off of sixty cents longer than a year? <v Speaker 1>That is quite pissy. The game has to be a <v Speaker 1>year old at least, and then you only have a <v Speaker 1>year to use them. Yeah, that is tough. That is tough. <v Speaker 1>My video was a bit rough. Now I think about <v Speaker 1>it um so six and sixty coins. Well, then if <v Speaker 1>you do, yeah, two games would be a dollar twenty <v Speaker 1>maybe you should Oh wait, you get three dollars for <v Speaker 1>sixty coins. Well how does that math? Bow? Look who's <v Speaker 1>doing the podcast here? Meet you in my head? Uh well, okay. <v Speaker 1>One thing I'll say is I did not plan to <v Speaker 1>go this in detail on this conversation. I apologize for getting. <v Speaker 1>It's so many things wrong. I'm really, honestly, really glad <v Speaker 1>that we're live. But apparently sixty is well, that's not <v Speaker 1>too bad. Three dollars, that's not that's not terrible at all. <v Speaker 1>Because now if you buy two full priced games, you <v Speaker 1>get six bucks. You can go to the e shop <v Speaker 1>buy a decent game for five dollars. There's a lot <v Speaker 1>of good five dollar games on the e shop, done <v Speaker 1>videos about that, oh I know. And then you buy, <v Speaker 1>you buy three of these suckers, you're at nine dollars. <v Speaker 1>There's a plethora of great ten dollars indies. Oh yeah, <v Speaker 1>and then you buy a couple more. You can get <v Speaker 1>Starty Valley for free. Starty Valley's fifteen dollars. Really yep, <v Speaker 1>that's on the e shop. <v Speaker 2>I wonder how many now I want to know how <v Speaker 2>many coins I have, because if they expire. <v Speaker 1>I probably don't know how many coins I have. I <v Speaker 1>don't actually, I don't even know how to find out, <v Speaker 1>and I don't want to. We've we've wasted enough of <v Speaker 1>these lovely people's time, all right. Anyway to the point, <v Speaker 1>use your gold coins now. If you have any games <v Speaker 1>you bought recently that came out recently, redeem those and <v Speaker 1>then also you already know this, I assume, but anything <v Speaker 1>you buy from the e shop will give you gold <v Speaker 1>coins immediately. So even if right, yeah, you get so <v Speaker 1>if you so, if I went and I bought dinner <v Speaker 1>three from the e shop right now, I would get <v Speaker 1>digital gold coins. Yes, yeah, I'm one hundred percent sure <v Speaker 1>of that. So why is there a. <v Speaker 2>Time you bought the physical copy more than a year? <v Speaker 1>You know why it is? Sorry? I just I literally <v Speaker 1>just slapped the baby with this, like like I was <v Speaker 1>doing a shoulder tap. I'm sorry, sorry, I don't know <v Speaker 1>why I did that. You know why it is? <v Speaker 2>Eh? <v Speaker 1>Pre owned? Well yeah, people don't because well, it only <v Speaker 1>works one time. So if you do it and then <v Speaker 1>you sell it, the next guy can't do it. But <v Speaker 1>I think what they're avoiding is people picking up a <v Speaker 1>game for twenty dollars pre owned at a mom and <v Speaker 1>pop store three years after it came out and getting <v Speaker 1>your full value. Yeah, so they give you the. <v Speaker 2>Year when they also don't get it at the same time. <v Speaker 1>That's definitely why so digital you always get it because <v Speaker 1>you're always paying the amount and they know how much <v Speaker 1>you're paying. There's a lot of stipulations to this. There's <v Speaker 1>a lot of hoops. <v Speaker 2>I'm gonna have to look into that and see how <v Speaker 2>many I've got, because I bet you it's probably not <v Speaker 2>that many anymore. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. Someone said it's sense though, No, I mean it's <v Speaker 1>it's yeah, and then those make dollars and then no, well, <v Speaker 1>if a whole game is three bucks, that's not bad. <v Speaker 1>I don't know. I don't know. I'm moving on, moving on. <v Speaker 1>You know, you've been informed, you've been filled in. What <v Speaker 1>do you want from me? All right? What time are <v Speaker 1>we at? <v Speaker 2>We've been added for a little over an hour, have <v Speaker 2>we Yeah? <v Speaker 1>How do you know that? <v Speaker 2>It's four thirty? <v Speaker 7>Oh? <v Speaker 1>Yeah, we have? Oh good lord, Well, I really got <v Speaker 1>into a groove there. Yeah, I thought I was going <v Speaker 1>to struggle to get to an hour and then I <v Speaker 1>just know. <v Speaker 2>I think struggling with the rapper took at least five minutes. <v Speaker 1>Yep, Oh, Kim, you want to watch this. I actually <v Speaker 1>haven't seen this yet. Pokemon cards stolen in Melbourne. Oh <v Speaker 1>how do I pause? <v Speaker 2>I don't know. <v Speaker 1>Here we go. It's not going to have any sound. <v Speaker 1>I'm now realizing I got really got to figure out sounds. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. I have a lot of questions and it has <v Speaker 2>camera us. <v Speaker 1>My guy, we don't need the sound. We don't need <v Speaker 1>the sound. Sorry, this is a nine News from Australia, <v Speaker 1>which is why I thought it was interesting. I believe Melbourne. Yeah, Melbourne. <v Speaker 2>You missed the part where she said wheely bin. It's <v Speaker 2>a shame. <v Speaker 1>Well, I know, I'm scared to hit play again after <v Speaker 1>that horrible noise it made. Oh they filled a wheely <v Speaker 1>bin feel full with Pokemon cards. Dude, this is too much. <v Speaker 1>I'm sorry. If rub a jewelry store, if you're going <v Speaker 1>to commit a heist, rub somewhere of. <v Speaker 2>Value, the nerdiest robbery of. <v Speaker 1>Ever Pokemon cards and then what turn around and try <v Speaker 1>and list them? And I don't know. <v Speaker 2>I hope they didn't get one good card. <v Speaker 1>I know Pokemon cards are expensive, but that's pathetic. <v Speaker 2>Like, honestly, if you're not a big chain, this is <v Speaker 2>like an end of dependently owned I know. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, And that's another thing. It's like a mum and <v Speaker 1>pop most likely a mum and pop store. And you're <v Speaker 1>in Australia too, Like Australia, you're supposed to have each <v Speaker 1>other's backs. Man, it's a there's like ten people that <v Speaker 1>live in Melbourne. You're gonna roub from your cousin. <v Speaker 2>Look at this idiot with half of his balding head <v Speaker 2>sticking out. <v Speaker 1>Dude, that's so upsetting. Yes, seriously, Robert, Robert Chain, Robert <v Speaker 1>jewelry store and rob someone's Pokemon cards. <v Speaker 2>Also, what weather was it? Because you got shorts on <v Speaker 2>and a puffer jacket. <v Speaker 1>I don't know if we should critique the the burglar's attire. <v Speaker 1>I don't think that's the issue. Roast clearly these people <v Speaker 1>don't make good decisions. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, clearly. <v Speaker 1>Anyway, I thought that was interesting. Sorry about that, a <v Speaker 1>little tangent there, But Pokemon presents this next week. I <v Speaker 1>just wanted to touch on that quickly before we get <v Speaker 1>out of here. I really I'm not clued in the <v Speaker 1>Pokemon world. It's not really my main thing. I don't <v Speaker 1>really have any predictions. I'm always off base with Pokemon stuff. <v Speaker 1>I can't even tell you really. All I hope to <v Speaker 1>see is a release date for Z and A and <v Speaker 1>more news about the switch to I just switch one <v Speaker 1>of it all. <v Speaker 2>When a Pokemon came that looks nice, man, that's solo one. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. The only thing I'll say I kind of hope <v Speaker 1>we get is Pokemon Black and White remake kind of things, <v Speaker 1>because I never played those, and everyone says they are <v Speaker 1>like with the last really good ones, so I'd love <v Speaker 1>a chance to actually play them. And all I wish <v Speaker 1>is that they look nice like Let's go, and they <v Speaker 1>don't look horrific like brilliant Diamond and shining pearl. My <v Speaker 1>personal opinion on that, I just hope they look gorgeous. <v Speaker 1>This is Pokemon we're talking about. There's no reason why <v Speaker 1>they shouldn't look immaculate. <v Speaker 2>I wanted to reflect how much money the Pokemon company has, like, please, <v Speaker 2>you can afford to make a good game. Can you <v Speaker 2>please stop cutting corners? Please? <v Speaker 1>I know I get this. I go in this conversation <v Speaker 1>all the time because there are people that legitimately think <v Speaker 1>Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl were either fine or they <v Speaker 1>actually looked good objectively. I believe they are just hideous, <v Speaker 1>and they hired a mobile game company who had only <v Speaker 1>made like one thing before to do those remakes. I <v Speaker 1>don't know why we're pretending like they knocked their first <v Speaker 1>game out of the park, like they were inexperienced. The <v Speaker 1>game is fine, it's nothing special, and but the Pokemon <v Speaker 1>company should be paying someone with experience that knows how <v Speaker 1>to make things look beautiful. <v Speaker 2>You can afford a company that knows how to make <v Speaker 2>a game for a console, not just a mobile game. <v Speaker 2>You have the money to do that. <v Speaker 1>I almost wonder if they didn't want it to look <v Speaker 1>too good because their own main games that their making <v Speaker 1>look so bad that if they hired a company to <v Speaker 1>make a remake that actually looked beautiful, the questions would <v Speaker 1>be asked. I feel like they have to keep things <v Speaker 1>in line with the main series at this point, so <v Speaker 1>everything just has to look bad. <v Speaker 2>You know, not make your main series look like dookie. <v Speaker 1>I mean that's a that's a good point and a <v Speaker 1>different conversation. I have eight messages from Bob. He is blowing. <v Speaker 2>That's a. <v Speaker 1>New rumor suggests upcoming classic. So this is a thread <v Speaker 1>rumor that got thirty six thousand likes and two point <v Speaker 1>two million views. And I think for the most part, <v Speaker 1>we're not believing this. I think I and again, I <v Speaker 1>know nothing about Pokemon. I think this is just from <v Speaker 1>our four chan leak, but it's literally all I know <v Speaker 1>to go on. So we're going to read them, and <v Speaker 1>I am not believing. It contains jen one to three <v Speaker 1>in this port collection Pokemon Memories red Gold, Ruby and <v Speaker 1>fire Red, Pokemon Reminiscence, Blue silver, sapphire and leaf green. <v Speaker 1>So so what this is saying is there's going to <v Speaker 1>be two Pokemon Port collection packs released, one called Pokemon Memories, <v Speaker 1>one called Pokemon Remnants Opposites and yeah, one will have <v Speaker 1>the one side which is the red, gold, ruby and <v Speaker 1>fire red so all like the red equivalents, and the <v Speaker 1>other side will have the blue, silver, sapphire, leaf green, <v Speaker 1>so that the counterpart equipments, and then yellow crystal and <v Speaker 1>emerald for digital purchase, so those I guess aren't on <v Speaker 1>the collection but are in the digital and then home <v Speaker 1>support for all of those. So Pokemon Home Kim. If <v Speaker 1>you don't know, is this app you can get on Switch, <v Speaker 1>which you can import your Pokemon into it from Pokemon <v Speaker 1>games that are on Switch. So Scarlet and Violet, Sword <v Speaker 1>and Shield, I believe get kis. I don't know which ones. Again, <v Speaker 1>I'm not the Pokemon guy. But you can take it <v Speaker 1>Pokemon from Scarlet Violet, put it in the Home, take <v Speaker 1>it from Home, put it in Sword and Shield. <v Speaker 2>You could do with the Go as well or no. <v Speaker 1>Goal is I believe part of Home. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, so you have to be like level forty two <v Speaker 2>or something. <v Speaker 1>I'm not sure, but I do know when you take <v Speaker 1>a Pokemon out, yes, but also it changes its stats <v Speaker 1>or it removes its stats or whatever. I think. Right, <v Speaker 1>so if you have like a three star Pokemon going, <v Speaker 1>it won't be It's. <v Speaker 2>Like when I trade with you, you don't know what <v Speaker 2>it's stature again Yeah, okay, they treat it like a trade. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, so uh yeah, I don't know. Do we believe <v Speaker 1>this chat? I don't know. This is from Fortune. It's <v Speaker 1>being shared on Twitter. Let me see what the tweets <v Speaker 1>are saying. What's with the GBA and pictures? Why not <v Speaker 1>just put them on switch GBA. Even if this was true, <v Speaker 1>it wouldn't let you trade to newer gens. I was <v Speaker 1>actually thinking that too. Yeah, it seems like comments here <v Speaker 1>aren't sure. No, I don't know. This idea of a <v Speaker 1>Pokemon collection has been floating around for a long time. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, people have been saying it's been going They've been <v Speaker 2>saying that for years, which I believe because I mean, <v Speaker 2>that's what people would want. But I mean, I. <v Speaker 1>Think it's what people would want, but that doesn't mean anything. <v Speaker 2>No, I know, that's what I mean. It's like you're <v Speaker 2>giving them too much though. Look at how many games <v Speaker 2>you would get in that collection. I feel like they <v Speaker 2>don't want to spread it out and do them individually. <v Speaker 1>These games have been weirdly missing from anything that has <v Speaker 1>happened on Switch, suspicious from the Nintendo Switch on line <v Speaker 1>apps or any kind of re releases or ways to <v Speaker 1>play them for your reason, So it would make sense <v Speaker 1>that they're holding them off for something like this, but <v Speaker 1>it could also make it could also not make sense <v Speaker 1>for any reason and they just don't want to do it. <v Speaker 1>It could also be like a we're already putting out <v Speaker 1>our main new titles. We don't want people playing our <v Speaker 1>old games, exactly like we don't want someone picking up <v Speaker 1>Pokemon fire Red on the Nintendo Switch app, playing that <v Speaker 1>for forty hours and not buying Scarlet and Violet two <v Speaker 1>or whatever. Yeah, it could be and that could sound dumb, <v Speaker 1>and it might be dumb, and that could legitimately be <v Speaker 1>the reason. <v Speaker 2>I don't think that sounds dumb. I think that's strategic <v Speaker 2>on their part, because think about the games that people <v Speaker 2>say we're good compared to what they're doing. Now. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, no, I agree, so uh that honestly, that could <v Speaker 1>be the reason. Yeah, I don't know, I don't know. <v Speaker 1>I don't know. <v Speaker 2>I don't know. <v Speaker 1>I don't I'm not a be nice. <v Speaker 2>If we get it, I won't be surprised if we don't. <v Speaker 1>It would honestly be pretty sick, to be honest, because <v Speaker 1>these games are perfect the way they were. Yeah, you <v Speaker 1>don't really need to remake them. Like I love the <v Speaker 1>way the Let's Go game looked, And to be honest, like, <v Speaker 1>if I had an option between playing the original game <v Speaker 1>that looked like Let's Go or the original game, I <v Speaker 1>would pick the Let's Go version because I honestly think <v Speaker 1>it looks great and it'd be great to re experience <v Speaker 1>the game. And I'm talking about traditionally, not the weird <v Speaker 1>rat wacky controls it added. Obviously, I would want it <v Speaker 1>to look like that, look pretty and gorgeous. But if <v Speaker 1>you're telling me that that that option isn't there and <v Speaker 1>they're just re releasing the way they were, they were <v Speaker 1>perfect the way they were, and they will so I'll <v Speaker 1>still play them as they were, exactly the way they were, <v Speaker 1>and I'll have no issue with that. Could be better <v Speaker 1>good the way they are? Does that make sense? <v Speaker 2>Yep? I wonder if they're ever going to do Pokemon <v Speaker 2>Stadium again. I don't do Pokemon Snap. <v Speaker 1>Again, but well, now that they've got home support that <v Speaker 1>you can actually move your Pokemon around, it would be <v Speaker 1>really sick if they did Pokemon Stadium three, that would <v Speaker 1>be really sick. Kimberly, because one of my favorite things, <v Speaker 1>Oh god, we're going down a time goal. I don't <v Speaker 1>know if you were part of this, Kim, but back <v Speaker 1>in the day, Pokemon was on game Boy and they <v Speaker 1>were sprites. They were little sprites, right ye. Then on <v Speaker 1>sixty four there was no like Pokemon game. It might <v Speaker 1>have been like Snap or something. But then they did <v Speaker 1>Stadium and if you link cabled You're sixty four to <v Speaker 1>your game Boy, you could take your game boy Pokemon <v Speaker 1>and put them in the stadium. And I know it's <v Speaker 1>silly because it's all just digital sprites, but it feels <v Speaker 1>like that. At the time when I was a kid, <v Speaker 1>my game was so important to me and I loved <v Speaker 1>my little Pokemon, but I only ever saw them as sprites. <v Speaker 5>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>I don't know how to explain this, because if you like, <v Speaker 1>if you load stadium up, if you load Stadium up <v Speaker 1>and you don't connect your game and there's a Ganga. <v Speaker 1>As a kid, I was still like, that's sick. It's <v Speaker 1>Gangar in three D and I can battle with him. <v Speaker 1>But putting my Ganga into the game and seeing my <v Speaker 1>gang it was like seeing my son grow up. It <v Speaker 1>was like an emotional attachment. I was like, sim that's <v Speaker 1>my Ganga. Tell me your thing. <v Speaker 2>Oh, mine's worse. I don't know. You never played it. <v Speaker 2>This was my game back. And there's Pets with a Z. <v Speaker 1>You know you told me about it. <v Speaker 2>We talked about it all right, So you could poort <v Speaker 2>your Pets with Z into the newer iterations of the games, <v Speaker 2>and like the original Pets and like Pets Too, you <v Speaker 2>really didn't have a lot of shit going on, like <v Speaker 2>there was no like stuff to do with them. You <v Speaker 2>could throw a ball. That's about all you get. But <v Speaker 2>then you get to Pets five with a Z and <v Speaker 2>then you can like travel with them and you can <v Speaker 2>take them to like Arabia and all these other places, <v Speaker 2>and you can give them clothes and they can have friends. <v Speaker 2>And so my original dog that I had from the <v Speaker 2>very first game, I had him saved on a floppy <v Speaker 2>because I was scared of Oh yeah, oh, I was <v Speaker 2>Could you. <v Speaker 1>Put that into the new game? You could take your <v Speaker 1>floppy disc from one and you could import your floppy <v Speaker 1>disc guy into five into five. Wow, that's crazy. <v Speaker 2>And then suddenly all this new shit was there for him. <v Speaker 1>It was very excited fact that we are so old, <v Speaker 1>the fact that we're talking about what we used to <v Speaker 1>do with floppy discs. Good. <v Speaker 2>The amount of floppy discs I had full of Pets <v Speaker 2>with a Z buddy that I had created myself with <v Speaker 2>the hexing program. <v Speaker 1>My child is going to graduate high school in twenty <v Speaker 1>forty two, and we used to play games with floppy discs. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, oh, I was a paranoid saver that would say <v Speaker 2>everything on those I was buying a weekly because you know, <v Speaker 2>you can only save like sixty four not even. <v Speaker 1>On a floppy disk. It was like megabytes. It was <v Speaker 1>like two megabytes or something. I mean, chat will know <v Speaker 1>for sure. I don't know, but I was like. <v Speaker 2>A couple of mega but I had full of them, of. <v Speaker 1>Just pet It was literally at a time where like <v Speaker 1>a thousand killer bytes made a megabyte, and at the <v Speaker 1>time you were like, this could fit a whole megabyte. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>like a thousand killer bytes. <v Speaker 2>I remember when the flash drive first came out. <v Speaker 1>I remember we're on a Tangent. I remember getting my <v Speaker 1>first three MP three player, and if I recall correctly, <v Speaker 1>it had something like one hundred and twenty eight megabytes <v Speaker 1>story and it could literally fit maybe like ten albums <v Speaker 1>at most. <v Speaker 2>Oh you had it. Oh, mine was worse than yours then, <v Speaker 2>because maybe it wasn't even ten ten songs. <v Speaker 1>Well it was more than ten songs, but maybe it <v Speaker 1>was like forty songs or thirty songs. <v Speaker 2>Was very shit. I loved him very much though. My <v Speaker 2>little sand it had like a little case and everything. <v Speaker 2>You can clip it to your pants. <v Speaker 1>One point forty four megabytes. Someone said, I'm getting that <v Speaker 1>if that's true, Yeah, all right, I can't believe I <v Speaker 1>remembered how much memory is on a floppy disc because <v Speaker 1>that is not my expertise. Yeah, wow, well, I mean <v Speaker 1>but I remember I said two. But like in the Bullpark, <v Speaker 1>you got to give that to me. Okay, women, I <v Speaker 1>was only going to do an hour, but I've been <v Speaker 1>vibing those that were there two other things I wanted <v Speaker 1>to talk about. We do have to do a bonus episode. <v Speaker 1>I'll leave it up to you, Kim, if we're gonna <v Speaker 1>do it. Now we're in the bonus. The first one <v Speaker 1>was I don't know if you saw, but the official <v Speaker 1>uh Top ten Nintendo Switch Games list was released. It's <v Speaker 1>a ranking of every Switch game, with ten the top <v Speaker 1>ten being placed in ten. It is the official ten. <v Speaker 1>So I thought we could look at that, and then <v Speaker 1>I was going to briefly talk about the Marvel rival situation. <v Speaker 2>M hm. I feel like that's more of a U <v Speaker 2>call because you know which one you're going to talk <v Speaker 2>about more so, and then how long you want this <v Speaker 2>episode to be. One's got to be for the bonus. <v Speaker 2>You can't do I'm trying to rational. <v Speaker 1>I guess we could. We can look at the official <v Speaker 1>top ten Switch games in the bonus It came from <v Speaker 1>an outlet called Woodhowker beat them Uch Wood? But it <v Speaker 1>is the official top ten, all right, because if if <v Speaker 1>someone's going to do it, why not me? You know, <v Speaker 1>why not me? Who's better? Who else? I mean, ntendo themselves? <v Speaker 1>Probably I assumed it was Nintendo. That may me until <v Speaker 1>Nintendo does it. This is the official list because who else? <v Speaker 1>If Scott the was did one, I would consider it, <v Speaker 1>but even still, no, thank you. This is the one. Okay, <v Speaker 1>this is my whole job. Like literally, in the never <v Speaker 1>played section, I only have one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, <v Speaker 1>eight nine games and one of them's Big Brain and <v Speaker 1>two of them are the same game, so come on, <v Speaker 1>I've played them all. If not me, then who you <v Speaker 1>want to hear the top ten? <v Speaker 2>That's official by the day, But. <v Speaker 1>You want to hear the top ten on? I want <v Speaker 1>to break it down more in the bonus because people <v Speaker 1>had some things to say, although I will say for <v Speaker 1>the most part, most of the comments were saying yeah, <v Speaker 1>like I'm not even playing, although reading the top comments <v Speaker 1>are probably going to be a mess. Most people were <v Speaker 1>like this, I would change some things maybe, but this <v Speaker 1>is fair, and I actually I was really appreciative of that. <v Speaker 1>I think the only things people really had an issue <v Speaker 1>with was me putting Pokemon Archaeus in Top ten, which <v Speaker 1>I knew would be controversial. I just felt a Pokemon <v Speaker 1>game needed to go up there, because when you're talking <v Speaker 1>about Top tens, Pokemon sold. <v Speaker 2>Millions, the ips need to be the IP. <v Speaker 1>Sold millions and brought a lot of people to the <v Speaker 1>corn and I'm taking that into account. Yeah, I had <v Speaker 1>to put a Pokemon game up there, and I just <v Speaker 1>felt like that was the most polished one. <v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, you can't put Detective Pikachu there. <v Speaker 1>You and you can't put Scarland Violet. They were a mess, <v Speaker 1>and Sword and Shield were a little too rudimentary, like <v Speaker 1>basic for me. Anyway, I'm I'm repeating myself, but Smash <v Speaker 1>both as Elder's Breath of the World in Tears, Animal Crossing, <v Speaker 1>Mario Card eight, Mario Odisty, Super Mario Wonder Jamboree, and <v Speaker 1>Splat three. Yeah, the only noise I heard were people <v Speaker 1>saying that Pokemonarchists maybe shouldn't be up there, and there's <v Speaker 1>something like Metroid Dread, But like for me, Metroid Dread, <v Speaker 1>like that's that's more of a niche if you love <v Speaker 1>that kind of game you're going to love it? Is <v Speaker 1>it a top ten? I mean it's it's eight hours <v Speaker 1>long ish if you don't get stuck. <v Speaker 2>I just think most people would opt for a Pokemon <v Speaker 2>game in general. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I mean, Metro Metroid is great and it is <v Speaker 1>s tire, but it only sold three million copies, so <v Speaker 1>like most people didn't even play it. I just couldn't <v Speaker 1>give it top ten end of the day. <v Speaker 2>Top ten in that case would be your opinion, not <v Speaker 2>based on sales. <v Speaker 1>Yes, yeah, yeah, And like I was going to do <v Speaker 1>a version, that was my opinion, and I would probably <v Speaker 1>move spotween three down at Metroid dread up. But even <v Speaker 1>then my opinion is swayed by the success of a <v Speaker 1>game and how many people legitimately enjoyed it. When I'm <v Speaker 1>trying to come up with a top ten and for <v Speaker 1>the console, right, like. <v Speaker 2>Because you're not doing it for yourself, because your list <v Speaker 2>A lot of this would be. <v Speaker 1>Like I adored games like astral Chain, Yeah, but like, <v Speaker 1>am I going to put astral Chain in s No, <v Speaker 1>It's just not an STA game. It's just a niche <v Speaker 1>to me, and I love it. Anyway, we can talk <v Speaker 1>about it more. Maybe I put out a whole video <v Speaker 1>ranking everything. Oh okay, but I thought it'd be interesting <v Speaker 1>to talk about the fallout. The only other thing quickly <v Speaker 1>was the Marvel Rivals situation, only because I made a <v Speaker 1>react to UPS video about it. Oh yeah, so I <v Speaker 1>told you I'll make this really quick. Honestly, I might <v Speaker 1>just bonus it. I just don't know if I want <v Speaker 1>to get into it. <v Speaker 2>Again, say quickly, but it becomes a deeper issue. <v Speaker 1>It's a deeper conversation because so for those that don't know, <v Speaker 1>and I won't pull up anything, I can't be bothered. <v Speaker 2>Here are my facts. <v Speaker 1>Here are my facts. I'm chat GBT right now. The <v Speaker 1>USA development team got laid off, so that the R <v Speaker 1>and D team, the research and development team, they got <v Speaker 1>laid off from Marvel Rivals. Now the news broke and <v Speaker 1>blew up because people were like, how the hell can <v Speaker 1>the game that's so successful that just launched lay off <v Speaker 1>the develop the game to a developer and director team <v Speaker 1>in the US. <v Speaker 2>The reason that it exists on the first list. <v Speaker 1>So that's the thing. They're not the reason the game exists. <v Speaker 1>The game is made in China, and there is a <v Speaker 1>game developer and game director and main studio in China <v Speaker 1>that made the game. The team in America, they handled <v Speaker 1>things like localizing the game, making it in English, the <v Speaker 1>whole development. Well, that's what people are calling misinformation. The <v Speaker 1>thing is, and I talked about this in the video, <v Speaker 1>and even still with me talking about it, people in <v Speaker 1>the comments were calling the video misinformation, even though I <v Speaker 1>talked about the things they're trying to say is misinformation. <v Speaker 1>By calling it misinformation, you are downplaying the fact that <v Speaker 1>people that worked on this game were laid off out <v Speaker 1>of nowhere when they didn't expect it. Teams of people <v Speaker 1>in this industry, in the gaming industry, working on a <v Speaker 1>very successful game were laid off. That is not misinformation. <v Speaker 1>That is what happened, right. These people they did work <v Speaker 1>on aspects of game development, with level design and map design, <v Speaker 1>and some character design and the law that goes into <v Speaker 1>the characters and taking their comic book roots and turning <v Speaker 1>them into these characters in the game. They did. They <v Speaker 1>weren't like the main team, but they worked on a <v Speaker 1>lot of that and a lot of localization. Now, apparently <v Speaker 1>R and D teams in general, often they are let <v Speaker 1>go after a game is released. A game will release <v Speaker 1>once it's got once it's out there and it's running, <v Speaker 1>the R and D team will get let Go. I <v Speaker 1>do think it's a different situation when it's a live <v Speaker 1>service game, and you can tell that these people working <v Speaker 1>there were not expecting to get let go. It's a <v Speaker 1>live service game that just got released. It's very successful. <v Speaker 1>They are releasing new characters and new content every month. <v Speaker 1>This team most likely thought they would continue working on <v Speaker 1>that stuff with net Ease and the main team at China. <v Speaker 1>Could you still have to localize that stuff? They still <v Speaker 1>have to there's still maps going to be made, characters <v Speaker 1>going to be made. I think what happened is net <v Speaker 1>Ease and they realized that they now that they were <v Speaker 1>off and running and everything was set up, they could <v Speaker 1>do away with the American team that were costing them <v Speaker 1>more because our wages are higher, and just keep the <v Speaker 1>team in China and take over what they were doing <v Speaker 1>and make it internal. So I think it's different for <v Speaker 1>a live service game because it's just released. Content still <v Speaker 1>being made. And I think what's important here is that <v Speaker 1>this team weren't expecting to lose their jobs, even though <v Speaker 1>maybe they were in a sub section for the industry <v Speaker 1>that generally get laid off. <v Speaker 2>But if it was communicated to them that they weren't <v Speaker 2>being laid off. <v Speaker 1>And it seems to me like it was communicated to <v Speaker 1>them that they had job security at least for the meantime. <v Speaker 1>I mean, when a game is this successful and making <v Speaker 1>this much money, R and D teams aren't always laid off, <v Speaker 1>and they're not always immediately laid off. So I think <v Speaker 1>in this position, they thought, oh, we're going to be <v Speaker 1>safe for a while. This is life service, this is <v Speaker 1>making a lot of money. The things we're working on <v Speaker 1>are still actively being developed, and it caught them by surprise. <v Speaker 1>So I don't think it. I don't think. I think <v Speaker 1>a lot of people that are just saying this is <v Speaker 1>misinformation that they should be laid off, you know, That's <v Speaker 1>what it seems like. <v Speaker 2>It seems to mean they thought the same thing I thought. <v Speaker 2>But that's not necessarily. <v Speaker 1>But the thing is in my video I talked about that, <v Speaker 1>I spent fifteen minutes talking about how they're the you <v Speaker 1>and the title of my video from release said the <v Speaker 1>U I say development team by it. In the video, <v Speaker 1>I talk about how the main team is in China, <v Speaker 1>and I talked in the video about how the people <v Speaker 1>working in America handled things like what I said just now, <v Speaker 1>and people were like, this is misinformation, And I feel <v Speaker 1>like that is just I don't know when people. I <v Speaker 1>think people latch onto something when they see, like people <v Speaker 1>talking about something, someone says misinformation, that person gets a <v Speaker 1>lot of likes and a lot of engagement because people <v Speaker 1>are like, oh, I didn't know. So when I talked <v Speaker 1>about it, people were like, misinformation, and then it gets <v Speaker 1>a lot of likes and people are like, oh, I <v Speaker 1>did not watch the video then. But also I just <v Speaker 1>feel like it's downplaying the fact that people in the <v Speaker 1>game industry that felt like they had some sort of <v Speaker 1>job security in that moment were laid off, right, And <v Speaker 1>that's that's all I was trying to get it. <v Speaker 2>The misinformation issue for me was the article I saw <v Speaker 2>did not specify that it was a US team. It <v Speaker 2>just said developers ran let Go. And I was like, well, <v Speaker 2>that's a bit shitty. <v Speaker 1>I mean, maybe I'm being too much of a bleeding heart, <v Speaker 1>and maybe I'm being too empathetic, and maybe these these <v Speaker 1>R and D teams should expect to be fired, or should. <v Speaker 2>Expect if it was community, that they were staying on <v Speaker 2>for longer than that is a surprise. <v Speaker 5>Or so. <v Speaker 1>The two main people that got let go, both their <v Speaker 1>statements said, essentially, the vibe was, didn't expect this. Despite <v Speaker 1>our team helping contribute to this game being a huge success, <v Speaker 1>us and our team are let off, laid off. Please <v Speaker 1>help us and my crew find work. So for me, <v Speaker 1>that says they didn't expect it. They didn't know they <v Speaker 1>were going to be laid off, despite being in an <v Speaker 1>industry and in a sub section of the development team <v Speaker 1>where maybe they can normally expect to be laid off, <v Speaker 1>they didn't expect it. And I think that is the <v Speaker 1>route concern and issue, despite what their job is in <v Speaker 1>the game industry, despite what might be common in the <v Speaker 1>game industry, I still think that's a concern. <v Speaker 2>I think you should know your jobs ending, you know. <v Speaker 2>I think think it should be a surprise. <v Speaker 1>I think they should know. Again, I think if a <v Speaker 1>game like what's a big game that came out recently, <v Speaker 1>like Black Myth Wukong that's a Chinese, Chinese game, I'm <v Speaker 1>pretty sure if they had an American R and D team, <v Speaker 1>the game came out, it'd been out for a month <v Speaker 1>or two, super successful, but it's over. Yeah, so they're <v Speaker 1>going to get fired. Yeah, like right, you can expect that. <v Speaker 1>I think the fact that it's life service and we're <v Speaker 1>just at the start of it and it has like <v Speaker 1>six hundred thousand concurrent players, I think I just think <v Speaker 1>they felt we're going to be good for at least <v Speaker 1>a year or two. <v Speaker 2>I just feel like there had to be something else <v Speaker 2>to that rather than just blindly assuming, because I feel <v Speaker 2>like if you're in that industry, you know how temperamental <v Speaker 2>it can be, and you wouldn't just assume that you <v Speaker 2>had a job. Something had to have been said and <v Speaker 2>they were like, oh good, my job's safe. <v Speaker 1>I don't know. The game industry is such a mess <v Speaker 1>and it's on fire and people getting laid off left, right, <v Speaker 1>and center. So I'm more inclined to believe that it's <v Speaker 1>another sign of the game industry being the game industry. <v Speaker 1>But maybe maybe maybe the people that got fired are <v Speaker 1>being dramatic, Maybe they're they're overreacting. Maybe they knew they <v Speaker 1>were getting fired and they're trying to do a well <v Speaker 1>wass me situation. Personally, I don't think so, and that's <v Speaker 1>not that's not what my first inclination was. But sure, <v Speaker 1>anything's possible. <v Speaker 2>Well, I feel like if they are allowing, it'd be <v Speaker 2>pretty easy to prove with receipts of the company telling <v Speaker 2>them there was a certain I. <v Speaker 1>Feel like if it was an expected layoff, they would <v Speaker 1>have just said something like. <v Speaker 2>No. <v Speaker 1>I feel like they would have said something like, we <v Speaker 1>helped launch this successful game. Our team is no longer <v Speaker 1>needed due to it being released, and our contract has expired, <v Speaker 1>but hey, we helped make this game a huge seller. <v Speaker 1>Here's our employers if you want us to do it <v Speaker 1>for your game, rather than we just got fired, didn't <v Speaker 1>expect it. It sucks because we helped them, Please hire us. <v Speaker 1>Like that just seems like two different messages, and I <v Speaker 1>feel like maybe we should question why they felt that way, <v Speaker 1>rather than saying it's misinformation. The main team is in <v Speaker 1>China and the game's fine. Don't worry about the game. <v Speaker 1>The game's fine. They were just the R and D <v Speaker 1>team in America. Who cares about the Americans but China. <v Speaker 1>The China developers still have their job. Screw the Americans. <v Speaker 1>I don't know. <v Speaker 2>I just feel bad for anybody that loses their job. <v Speaker 1>I think I felt bad for them, yeah, but I <v Speaker 1>don't know. Maybe that's just me that's how I felt <v Speaker 1>about it, but maybe you feel differently, and you can <v Speaker 1>let me know down below. We need to get out <v Speaker 1>of here. Into the bonus episode. Yeah, mom just said, Oops, <v Speaker 1>you're alive, and I've been effing blowing you up. No, <v Speaker 1>you're fine, buddy. I don't know if you're still here. <v Speaker 1>We're trying to get dinner Saturday night, so he sent <v Speaker 1>me different places to get food at. Oh and thank <v Speaker 1>you Dragonheart for the dono. I actually saw your dono <v Speaker 1>last week and replied to it in the bonus episode. <v Speaker 1>But he says, when when will you be live on <v Speaker 1>Twitch again? Miss you there. I don't know if you're <v Speaker 1>a pai. I'm pretty sure you are a Patreon. But <v Speaker 1>I gave a whole explanation on the Bonus episode last week. <v Speaker 1>I'm not going to be streaming on Twitch until the <v Speaker 1>Switch two comes out. I'm taking that time. I have <v Speaker 1>a baby coming, I'm trying to focus on work, and <v Speaker 1>I honestly just can't sit there and stream for hours <v Speaker 1>on end, like three times a week or whatever. I know. <v Speaker 1>Snow is coming. <v Speaker 2>Down outside right now to out there. It's crazy. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, Twitch is on hold, But when the Switch two <v Speaker 1>comes out and things are moving again and there's actually <v Speaker 1>exciting things to stream, and me going live and streaming <v Speaker 1>like Mario Kart and recording the footage is like helping <v Speaker 1>me when I make my review that then I can <v Speaker 1>work streaming back in. But just going live and goofing <v Speaker 1>off for a few hours with people in life chat. <v Speaker 1>While it is fun, I'm just not getting any work <v Speaker 1>done right now, and I've really got to focus in <v Speaker 1>on work and and getting ready for this baby. It's <v Speaker 1>it's all I'm thinking about. And I don't know if <v Speaker 1>you guys noticed, but that that switch to video I <v Speaker 1>did with the switch to will fail. It's one of <v Speaker 1>my favorite videos I've done, and it's because I had <v Speaker 1>a time to focus on it. And I'm doing another <v Speaker 1>one right now, and it's because I have time to <v Speaker 1>focus on it. So I'm just trying to align my <v Speaker 1>my focus a bit better because I have ADHD. Let <v Speaker 1>me bring it all back around, Kim, thanks for sitting <v Speaker 1>with me. We gotta, I gotta, I gotta bail. Hey <v Speaker 1>what you heard this? It's gonna take away? It has <v Speaker 1>such a slow, low build up. I need to actually, <v Speaker 1>I think I need to cut the start of the <v Speaker 1>song off just so that it hits so that when <v Speaker 1>I when I'm ready for it, I can hit it. <v Speaker 1>Thank you so much everybody for being with us today, <v Speaker 1>watching and listening. How good is this song? So good? Kim, <v Speaker 1>thanks for sitting with me and talking with me. I <v Speaker 1>hope you had a good time. You did really good today. <v Speaker 1>Thank you everybody. Let us know your thoughts down below <v Speaker 1>on everything we talked about. I'm sorry if the music's <v Speaker 1>too loud, but I'm also not. Yeah, let me know <v Speaker 1>all your thoughts down below, like comment. Remember to subscribe <v Speaker 1>because I'm trying really hard to get that one hundred thousand. <v Speaker 1>And if you're a Patreon, we'll see you over for <v Speaker 1>the bonus episode. You get a bonus episode every single week. <v Speaker 1>I'm gonna do one right now and talk about a <v Speaker 1>lot oh so many fun things, so many fun things, <v Speaker 1>and we'll see you there that it links down below <v Speaker 1>for the Patreon. Love you guys, Thank you so much. <v Speaker 7>Goodbye, sh. <v Speaker 1>Show, very lady show. The show
