<v Speaker 1>Welcome on into the Non Tender Podcast, your home of <v Speaker 1>What is it that I usually say? <v Speaker 2>I have it up speculation, appreciation, and condemnation. I'm gonna <v Speaker 2>remember those ations at some point. It is seven PM, <v Speaker 2>a couple of days before Valentines, and I have my <v Speaker 2>Valentines sat with me right now, right here. Wait, well, <v Speaker 2>this is just me both to one. What will you <v Speaker 2>guys be? Okay, I gotta pick one? Yeah, Sully, will <v Speaker 2>you be? <v Speaker 1>I got you? All right? It's the hair. <v Speaker 2>No, I'm so excited. We got a big day. We <v Speaker 2>have so many things to talk about. It is a <v Speaker 2>couple dated about the nine day. You know the color <v Speaker 2>of love red? Hey, you know the color of this podcast, <v Speaker 2>the color of this button. Big news, big nintender rumors. <v Speaker 2>It's not really news, it's rumors. There's a lot of rumors. <v Speaker 2>I I kind of I don't. I don't love talking rumors, <v Speaker 2>which is why we have a lot of other things <v Speaker 2>to talk about too, Like Mario Tennis was just came out. <v Speaker 2>But unfortunately everybody is talking about Pokemon fire red and <v Speaker 2>leaf green right now, and they are I want to <v Speaker 2>dive in and I want to give my opinion on <v Speaker 2>if I think this is happening or not. And I'll <v Speaker 2>let you know now every single Pokemon presents I swear <v Speaker 2>for the last half decade, Game Boy Pokemon games are coming. <v Speaker 2>It happens every single time. So I'm a little a <v Speaker 2>little skeptical, but we'll get there. <v Speaker 1>You can. <v Speaker 2>You can show these guys lovely faces and play the <v Speaker 2>lower third. I know that you were waiting. You were <v Speaker 2>waiting for a chance to you guys. <v Speaker 1>You miss us. <v Speaker 2>Check out that channels by the way, they're linked in <v Speaker 2>the description down below. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I appreciate it. Thank you. <v Speaker 2>This marks four weeks of the new show. We're actually <v Speaker 2>a month into the new show. <v Speaker 1>First times flying, I know, But honestly, last week I <v Speaker 1>felt like was a while. I definitely felt like I'm <v Speaker 1>missed you guys, and I miss you know what so through. <v Speaker 2>So I'm gonna say this it might sound weird, but <v Speaker 2>we started this whole thing together very like business transactionally, <v Speaker 2>like I didn't really know you guys. This last week <v Speaker 2>was the first week where I started thinking, should I <v Speaker 2>start messaging these guys outside of the I to miss <v Speaker 2>them a little bit. I want like I was starting <v Speaker 2>to think, like should we do like a nontender retreat <v Speaker 2>or something like go somewhere Japan. That would be Japan. <v Speaker 2>That might be a big leap. I was thinking, like <v Speaker 2>go to the movies or something. See the Mario movie. <v Speaker 2>That's true, But how when's that coming from? Yeah, okay, <v Speaker 2>I can wait till aboard to get to know you. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>don't care. <v Speaker 1>Now, maybe we should. I don't know. <v Speaker 2>We should do something with everybody. I don't know what <v Speaker 2>it is. We go to the city or something. I'd <v Speaker 2>show you guys around Philly. <v Speaker 1>I mean we're in Philly. Yeah, yeah, sure, Yeah, it's <v Speaker 1>just like a ten minute drive broch a minute. We <v Speaker 1>could go week. So Kim and I we did Chinatown <v Speaker 1>for anniversary. Nice. <v Speaker 2>You like Chinatown? Yeah, it's a really nice Yeah. It's <v Speaker 2>like we've got a good one here. <v Speaker 1>Huh. Yeah, it's the whole thing, honestly. Yeah, with like <v Speaker 1>the design and everything. It was just some really good places, <v Speaker 1>like a ton of good bulber. We found this spot. <v Speaker 1>It looked like it was going to be good. And <v Speaker 1>then everyone waiting in line was like, you guys found <v Speaker 1>the spot. Really, this is the It's like they said <v Speaker 1>this and there's a place around the corner. And I <v Speaker 1>was like, well, should we go there? And they were like, no, <v Speaker 1>you stay, stay. It was really good. That's cool. <v Speaker 2>Okay, So a lot of things to talk about. I <v Speaker 2>want to talk about those rumors. I want to have <v Speaker 2>you guys played Maya tennis. Yet I have no hear <v Speaker 2>what you have to It came out today, so I'm <v Speaker 2>not surprised. But I did grab it off the Australian <v Speaker 2>shop and I streamed it last night with my friends. <v Speaker 2>So I have played it and I do want to <v Speaker 2>talk about it. We do have to do games with <v Speaker 2>but this let's do games. We've been playing. I saw <v Speaker 2>a comment that was very constructive. It was very nice, <v Speaker 2>and they liked a lot of things about the show <v Speaker 2>and one of their one of the things they said, <v Speaker 2>but you have to get rid of that what we've <v Speaker 2>been playing animation because it's horrible. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, right, I went vomiting Mario's classic. It's got it's <v Speaker 1>a stable point. We can't get rid of it. Oh wait, no, <v Speaker 1>that's not the animation. Did you switch it? No? Yeah? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, okay, so you guys I went first last week. <v Speaker 2>You guys want to what do you be? What did <v Speaker 2>you finish this week? <v Speaker 1>Okay? So I mean I played some games outside of <v Speaker 1>what I was recording, but unfortunately I had to play <v Speaker 1>through minised cap again due to like file corruption a <v Speaker 1>third play through. Unfortunately, h my gosh likes to uh <v Speaker 1>just decinc audio. When I'm recording it's the new you <v Speaker 1>can't edit it, no, no, no. So the thing is when <v Speaker 1>you play back the video after recording, it's fine. The <v Speaker 1>moment you put it into Premier, it just these sinks <v Speaker 1>and it's like decincs in a way where like three <v Speaker 1>seconds and then and three seconds and another three so <v Speaker 1>you can't like, it's impossible. I've tried editing. It's yeah, <v Speaker 1>I feel you. So it's quicker to read film the <v Speaker 1>whole thing. Just film it, yeah, my god. So I <v Speaker 1>had to do that. But I also did get a <v Speaker 1>chance to play through the Pragmata demo, which is, oh, yeah, <v Speaker 1>it's really good. Huh. <v Speaker 2>It's amazing surprising how well it runs. It's sixty frames. <v Speaker 1>Sixty and it looks awesome and the concept of it <v Speaker 1>is really cool. <v Speaker 2>I actually, yeah, I was really liking it. So did <v Speaker 2>you play it once or twice? I've just played the <v Speaker 2>first run. <v Speaker 1>I wanted to like try to beat my sub but <v Speaker 1>Unfortunately I never had the chance. <v Speaker 2>So I played that twice just because I did it. <v Speaker 2>You actually I played it on my own on my TV, <v Speaker 2>and then I was like, I want to record it. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. <v Speaker 2>When you played a second time, you unluck like skins <v Speaker 2>and a new weapon. <v Speaker 1>Nice. I bet you played faster too. Yeah. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I tried to beat my time, and I found <v Speaker 2>myself really in the flow of like doing the weird <v Speaker 2>mechanic where you're like doing the great event shooting. <v Speaker 1>It's really first, it's really tough. Well yeah, I kind <v Speaker 1>of have to dodge and then also trying to get <v Speaker 1>the code in, but I love having to think about <v Speaker 1>it old exactly. Once you get to the end, you're like, Okay, <v Speaker 1>I understand the flow of this. It's nice. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, if you guys haven't checked out the Pragmatic demo, <v Speaker 2>it's it's it's showcasing what the switch can do. <v Speaker 1>It's really cool. And then I also played through I'm <v Speaker 1>Late to this, but I played through the Adventure of <v Speaker 1>Elliott demo. Okay, yeah, no, I like that one as well. <v Speaker 1>That one was really fun. I wasn't expecting it to <v Speaker 1>be like Zelder. Yeah two d Zelda. It reminds me <v Speaker 1>a lot of like Octopath Traveler. Yeah, vibes. But the <v Speaker 1>gameplay is exactly like two Dzelda with shrines shrines. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>I know, it's dungeon and like you you do a <v Speaker 1>dungeon and then you get a weapon like a Zelda exactly, <v Speaker 1>and I think you can do it for the demo. <v Speaker 1>You can do it in the order as well. The <v Speaker 1>couple options that they have, they only have like one dungeon. <v Speaker 1>It's like I think it's two No, no, it's two shrines. Okay. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>once you beat the first dungeon, it takes you to <v Speaker 1>the door of time and then the demo ends. Okay, yeah, no, <v Speaker 1>because it's made by Ox Traveler people. Yeah, it looks <v Speaker 1>like yeah, it makes a lot of So when I <v Speaker 1>saw it, I was like, I don't know if I <v Speaker 1>need more this like Octopath Traveler Strategy and so I <v Speaker 1>was like, I'll try the demo and then yeah, it's <v Speaker 1>it's not like those other games at all. It's actually <v Speaker 1>a lot of people I've said that too. People are <v Speaker 1>like things are gonna be like more square slot. <v Speaker 2>It's really good. That's why I bought the collect is <v Speaker 2>last week with the clock that I told you, Yeah, yeah, yeah, <v Speaker 2>because I was like, that game actually is pretty good. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, I'm excited for it. All right, that's a lot. <v Speaker 3>What about you, Well, not as much as that. Well, <v Speaker 3>I'll tell you what I almost played, you know, like <v Speaker 3>Chronicles one almost. I is this close to putting it <v Speaker 3>into my switch. You'll get that. Yeah, not today, not <v Speaker 3>not this week. But I did play a little bit <v Speaker 3>of a classic Pokemon Black two. I'm kind of kind <v Speaker 3>of in the Pokemon mood, such a point, kind of <v Speaker 3>in the Pokemon mood. I'm glad we're talking about some <v Speaker 3>Pokemon stuff today, but just like just wanted to kind <v Speaker 3>of see what I had, because I know a lot <v Speaker 3>of like the games, like I feel like once you <v Speaker 3>finish them, like you can either just like move on <v Speaker 3>the next one or just go back to them. I <v Speaker 3>just went through to see what Pokemon I had, Like <v Speaker 3>how long it's been since I've like traded or anything. <v Speaker 3>I remember when Game Stop used to do like the <v Speaker 3>like the mythical distribution events. Yeah, they give you like <v Speaker 3>shiny Garantina or even shiny di Alga. Like I look back, <v Speaker 3>I was like twenty twelve or twenty thirteen, I think <v Speaker 3>they did that. <v Speaker 1>So I was just looking at them. <v Speaker 3>But I'm debating if I want to like transfer them <v Speaker 3>like over, or if I just want to leave them <v Speaker 3>on that game. <v Speaker 1>That's a Johnny you have to take on your right, <v Speaker 1>I know. <v Speaker 3>So that's that's the toughest thing, because like, do I <v Speaker 3>want to like, you know, bring them over to like <v Speaker 3>home and leave them on my switch forever? <v Speaker 1>Do I want to just like they're not real? <v Speaker 2>If it helps, you might like me might pot some <v Speaker 2>sort of attachment onto them, not officially, but they say <v Speaker 2>they actually aren't real. It's like when you leave your <v Speaker 2>animal crossing villages for like six years, you feel bad now, <v Speaker 2>I yeah, I would do, like they don't really care. <v Speaker 3>But when I go back and like, for instance, when <v Speaker 3>the update just came out for what New Horizons, I <v Speaker 3>go back and as well was like, oh my gosh, <v Speaker 3>like it's been They literally say. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it sounds it's been six years and twenty two <v Speaker 2>days since you. <v Speaker 3>Since you've been here, like oh okay. And then you're <v Speaker 3>like you walk around the villagers and they're like, wow, <v Speaker 3>I haven't seen you forever. I thought you hate me, <v Speaker 3>like oh okay. <v Speaker 2>But it's funny because they get over it immediately. They <v Speaker 2>do that may give you a game. I wish real <v Speaker 2>life was like that too. <v Speaker 1>Sometimes. <v Speaker 2>I know, I wish I could not talk to the <v Speaker 2>people I care about for six years and then just <v Speaker 2>pick right back where I left exactly because relationships are hard. <v Speaker 1>They are, and they should be easy. There should be <v Speaker 1>That's what I've been playing. Okay, what have I been playing? <v Speaker 1>More Absolute? I talked about that last week. I'm addicted <v Speaker 1>to it. There's a second boss, like you beat the <v Speaker 1>game and then it unlocks a new boss and I <v Speaker 1>can't beat that one. I also played Prugmata. I started <v Speaker 1>Dragon Quest seven. Reimagine Okay, they imagine too hard the <v Speaker 1>whole time I've been playing the game that quotes in <v Speaker 1>my head you said it, now imagine I've been too hot. Graphically, <v Speaker 1>I actually think it's gorgeous. My my, My hang up <v Speaker 1>is it's so much reading still, and like that's I like, <v Speaker 1>like I finished Dragon Quest eleven asked and there was <v Speaker 1>a lot of reading, a lot of story. This is <v Speaker 1>a lot of reading, and it's very like I like <v Speaker 1>the concept of the story. You're on this little island <v Speaker 1>and there's no other islands around, and then you go <v Speaker 1>on this adventure that starts popping up islands. Everyone around <v Speaker 1>is like, where'd that island come from? So I like <v Speaker 1>the idea. It's cute, but there's so much talking, like <v Speaker 1>incessantly between and I try and play games at night, <v Speaker 1>and I just it's like, you don't even read a <v Speaker 1>book at night. Yeah, I keep getting tired. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, so I get like twenty minutes in, I haven't <v Speaker 2>really done anything, and I'm like, I need to go <v Speaker 2>to bed. So I'm having a hard time sinking my <v Speaker 2>teeth into it. Other than that, I feel like something <v Speaker 2>else came out. We can actually we can check my switch. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, let's tick at whole reading thing. I could relate <v Speaker 1>to it because that's how I felt when I was <v Speaker 1>playing through the Monster Hunter Stories three demo. Oh, I <v Speaker 1>haven't played that? Is that good? It's good. I'm not <v Speaker 1>a fan of the Like people are gonna hate me <v Speaker 1>for this, but I'm not a fan of the Monster <v Speaker 1>Hunter Stories. Like I wish it would just open world <v Speaker 1>Hack and Slash. I'm not like too big into the <v Speaker 1>RP Oh, the Mario Tennis. Oh, that's just game. Yeah <v Speaker 1>playing that. <v Speaker 2>Last night, I was playing Tokyo Scramble, which we'll talk <v Speaker 2>more about that in a minute, I was recording some gameplay. <v Speaker 1>Mario cut world for a video, Legends up there for <v Speaker 1>a video. Wait, why does the N sixty fourteen got <v Speaker 1>mature seventeen plush Because there's two there's the one that <v Speaker 1>has all the mature games. Oh wait, this might be <v Speaker 1>that's regional. Okay, yeah, that's my Australian account at work. <v Speaker 1>I also thought about starting Skyrim, and I didn't really <v Speaker 1>like it. On it that's a very good game. <v Speaker 2>This is everything I've been playing. If you want to <v Speaker 2>see wow. So yeah, I've been bouncing around some and <v Speaker 2>that's absolutely the game that I can't stop playing. And <v Speaker 2>this is Maria Tennis. You want to play some sure, <v Speaker 2>we're actually I'm actually in a game right now if you. <v Speaker 1>Want to do. We're going to talk about that later. Though. <v Speaker 1>Good good cut to me. They actually you know how <v Speaker 1>I always say cut to me. It cut to me. <v Speaker 2>So this button that cuts to me, it used to <v Speaker 2>just say something like cut I got here today, and <v Speaker 2>they've changed it to say. <v Speaker 1>Cut to me. The power what we just say? I know? <v Speaker 2>Okay, all right, but quickly, before we get in the <v Speaker 2>main topic, I want to quickly, very quickly go over <v Speaker 2>Patreon and YouTube members quickly, because we turn the YouTube <v Speaker 2>members on last week and it was kind of a kerfuffle. <v Speaker 2>So I just want to explain things while I have <v Speaker 2>you guys one over on Patreon. Cut to the thing <v Speaker 2>over on Patreon. If you don't know, there is a <v Speaker 2>home pat home patch, a homepage on Patreon where you <v Speaker 2>can find the bonus. <v Speaker 1>I did the button. <v Speaker 2>It was still on my switch for audio listeners there <v Speaker 2>where you can find. This is new. They never used <v Speaker 2>to this. They've added this recently. This whole homepage. Okay, <v Speaker 2>look like YouTube. You can find the bonus episodes on <v Speaker 2>here and all the behind the scenes content as well <v Speaker 2>as all the audio content. Every time we put out <v Speaker 2>an audio episode, someone inevitably comments, no video this week, <v Speaker 2>and it's like, I get okay, it's confusing. So the <v Speaker 2>audio one say rss audio. That's if you want to <v Speaker 2>listen to it on iTunes and all of that, and <v Speaker 2>then if you want to find the video, it's up here. <v Speaker 2>It is so And the other thing I wanted to <v Speaker 2>touch on is we have the YouTube members now and <v Speaker 2>a lot of people came over and that's very exciting, <v Speaker 2>and I've learned. I've managed to link up the members <v Speaker 2>to disc so now you'll automatically get into the private <v Speaker 2>chats and get your roles and everything. But it's really <v Speaker 2>hard to there's no home there's no homepage, there's no <v Speaker 2>like a fee, that's just there's one community tab. So <v Speaker 2>people were like, how do we get all the bonus <v Speaker 2>episodes that you've done? So I put a post here, <v Speaker 2>here's the playlist. You can find it on the membership <v Speaker 2>tab or it's pinned in the discord, but I can't <v Speaker 2>pin it anywhere on YouTube. This is gonna get buried, <v Speaker 2>so you kind of have to like save it, Like <v Speaker 2>I don't really know what else to do. You're going <v Speaker 2>to get the episodes every week pretty easily like last week, <v Speaker 2>but you're gonna have to like bookmark older content, and <v Speaker 2>we're gonna work on finding out how to get you <v Speaker 2>behind the scenes stuff, and we're gonna work on all <v Speaker 2>of that because it's not super intuitive. Okay, So that's <v Speaker 2>all of that, and then finally I wanted to say <v Speaker 2>that cut to me. We're going to we're gonna off <v Speaker 2>We're gonna provide the VIP Patreon real physical rewards to <v Speaker 2>everybody worldwide for this month and last month because I <v Speaker 2>didn't say anything otherwise. We're gonna see how much that's <v Speaker 2>going to cost, because the world wide shipping is crazy, yes, <v Speaker 2>especially now. So next month, if you're a vip Patreon <v Speaker 2>and you're out of us, then we might change something <v Speaker 2>or hopefully it'll be exactly the same. I'm just letting <v Speaker 2>you know right now that something might change with that <v Speaker 2>because I have to see how much it's going to <v Speaker 2>cost a ship mixed out of course, And I think <v Speaker 2>that's everything I had to say about that, and I <v Speaker 2>tried to make it really quick. <v Speaker 1>An hour back to it. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, No, we got to get through some like like <v Speaker 2>house stuff. Yeah, of course, top of those shows stuff. <v Speaker 2>All right, for the main topic this week, let me <v Speaker 2>see what we got we have and let me know <v Speaker 2>when it gets to thirty minutes. By the way, we <v Speaker 2>have do you want to do the rumor of red <v Speaker 2>and Blue first? I guess right, I made a Pokemon mood? <v Speaker 1>Why not? All right? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I guess you'll have to let us know what <v Speaker 2>you think. Of course, of course, to the ground on this. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>you know, here's the Pokemon. I appreciate that you're looking <v Speaker 2>forward to Pokepedia. No, oh really, actually am all of <v Speaker 2>a sudden Really it looks cute. Yeah anyway, but whatever, <v Speaker 2>all right, here is Gaming Bible Pokemon's best game Doo <v Speaker 2>Tease to return on Nintendo Switch and they put a <v Speaker 2>little bit of I can cry at the end. Two <v Speaker 2>of the best Pokemon games of old time, I would <v Speaker 2>argue the actual best. These are the ones that I <v Speaker 2>I mean, I think they're the most like I think <v Speaker 2>I started on this. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, people go back to like val first Pokemon game <v Speaker 1>was fire Red or leaf Green. <v Speaker 2>No, that can't be true, but I know. I got <v Speaker 2>a game Boy Advance for Christmas with fire Red and <v Speaker 2>my brother got one with leaf Green. We had to <v Speaker 2>got the sps hundreds of hours. I played this more <v Speaker 2>than any other Pokemon game. This month, Pokemon franchise will <v Speaker 2>be having a huge thirty year anniversary, and on the <v Speaker 2>twenty seventh of February, which is the anniversary, they always <v Speaker 2>do a Pokemon Presents yep Pokemon on. <v Speaker 1>And then. <v Speaker 2>Pokemon insider Riddler Coup has teased a possible return of <v Speaker 2>Pokemon fire Red and Pokemon Leaf Green, the remakes of <v Speaker 2>the original fire Red and Green from ninety six. They <v Speaker 2>will return soon, they said, So is that where the <v Speaker 2>lague came from this Riddler cup. <v Speaker 3>I'm seeing that, and like there's just a bunch of <v Speaker 3>other like people who are just posting like fan art <v Speaker 3>of like what it could look like or like just <v Speaker 3>like I've seen a lot of fan eye Yeah, screenshots <v Speaker 3>of the GBA covers. <v Speaker 1>What do you think is like stopping them from like <v Speaker 1>releasing these games if they've given us some because up <v Speaker 1>until well, what's stopping them. It's just money. <v Speaker 2>It's all money because they will they will never give <v Speaker 2>us Pokemon for free ever. So I think it's been <v Speaker 2>them trying to figure out how they charge for it <v Speaker 2>when we already have like the then I switch on <v Speaker 2>line apps that they technically would fall into unless they <v Speaker 2>do something different with them. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I think that's what's the Pokemon company that's behind <v Speaker 1>trying to monetize. <v Speaker 3>The initial speculation is, yeah, it wouldn't be a part <v Speaker 3>of like the GVA online that you would normally get <v Speaker 3>with nso, because that would be a great deal if <v Speaker 3>you tell me, If you tell me we're getting two <v Speaker 3>mainline games, and especially like two of like really high <v Speaker 3>regarded ones like fire Red, Leave Green and there. <v Speaker 1>Could eventually give us like Ruby Sapphire, emeralds. See that's <v Speaker 1>that's the hope. <v Speaker 3>But now if they're just doing this where it'd be <v Speaker 3>like oh, because I think the rumored price is what <v Speaker 3>thirty dollars for each. <v Speaker 2>So I've seen that, but I feel like people are <v Speaker 2>just throwing things at the wall and like, I want <v Speaker 2>to clarify that. So I don't know who rid Look <v Speaker 2>who is They have a lot of followers here, one <v Speaker 2>hundred and fifty thousand followers. I'd never heard of the <v Speaker 2>Pokemon fan I'm not sure who they are, what they do. <v Speaker 2>But like as I said earlier, every Pokemon presents we're <v Speaker 2>supposed to get. Last time it was black and white. Yes, <v Speaker 2>everyone was talking about black and white. This is the <v Speaker 2>five years. Right now it's fire red and leaf green. <v Speaker 2>I guess because this person tweeted it out. But I <v Speaker 2>will say that I currently don't have much faith. <v Speaker 3>That this could be. Yeah, it's a weird. I want <v Speaker 3>to say, it's a weird pivot. But it's always been <v Speaker 3>like you said, it's been red and blue. I feel <v Speaker 3>like that I've been like the ones that they always say, like, <v Speaker 3>oh it'll be in here, red, blue, yellow, yeap. But <v Speaker 3>to do the GBA ones, I think it's because people <v Speaker 3>really like them more than the originals. But they haven't <v Speaker 3>even done red, blue, yellow either exactly. Yeah, So why <v Speaker 3>they jump now? I think is definitely like a bigger <v Speaker 3>question that people are asking who. I just want to <v Speaker 3>know who riddle Coup is ridd Lku? This is not <v Speaker 3>a good boating Well who is red Luku? I googled <v Speaker 3>riddle l ku confirmed fake? <v Speaker 1>Not real? <v Speaker 3>Oh no, but ail that came out that says January second, <v Speaker 3>twenty twenty four. <v Speaker 1>Oh wait, did they or did riddle l Ku confirm <v Speaker 1>something was fake? Oh? Maybe because that's that's a two <v Speaker 1>year old old. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, Lekas says kup has been lying from November <v Speaker 2>twenty seven. Why does everyone believe riddle Laku from March <v Speaker 2>sixteenth to twenty twenty four? I can't stress enough If <v Speaker 2>you haven't been on the internet in the last few days, <v Speaker 2>this is old. Anybody is talking about the fire right now, <v Speaker 2>we're getting. <v Speaker 3>Into Pokemon territory for like. <v Speaker 2>Like this has been the big thing and it's coming <v Speaker 2>from this guy. But who is this guy? Mystery man? <v Speaker 2>I'm assuming why does everyone believe riddle Au? Should we <v Speaker 2>dad to read this this Pokemon? Let's see who leaks in. <v Speaker 2>He leaks in riddles that. <v Speaker 3>Wait, so Batman say, wait a second, what if it <v Speaker 3>what if he just put up or what if they <v Speaker 3>put up fire Red Leaf Green just to say that <v Speaker 3>it's Pokemon old Gen But maybe it's not those games specifically, <v Speaker 3>or am I just overthinking? <v Speaker 1>Wait? <v Speaker 2>What was his original tweet? Access it's a riddle. It <v Speaker 2>doesn't mean anything. It doesn't mean we're getting fire red <v Speaker 2>What does it mean? What does it mean the remix <v Speaker 2>we're gonna get where a fire Red Leaf remix? <v Speaker 1>Probably show me it wasn't it like let's go even <v Speaker 1>Pikachu though, Yeah, which means we'll get a new charge <v Speaker 1>ard for him again. Probably you know what you know? <v Speaker 2>It says like this person's like he's making mistakes and <v Speaker 2>he's he's hinting, and he seems like he's a fake. <v Speaker 2>Releasing things as a riddle is such a great way <v Speaker 2>of being like. <v Speaker 1>That's not what I meant. <v Speaker 2>When it doesn't happen, it's like I never said it <v Speaker 2>was a riddle. <v Speaker 1>You could always like reinterpretate your what you said and <v Speaker 1>never have to like admit, yeah, that you were wrong <v Speaker 1>because well, technically I didn't mean that. Yeah, you could. <v Speaker 1>You could be like, it's up to interpretation exact. When <v Speaker 1>I said they were turned soon, I didn't mean that. <v Speaker 1>I didn't mean that. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean if this ends up actually happening, though, <v Speaker 2>I take it all back, I apologize and riddle I <v Speaker 2>like we got to call the Riddler. Yeah, I'll apologize <v Speaker 2>next week for daring to claim that you don't know <v Speaker 2>what you're talking about. But I just wouldn't get my <v Speaker 2>hopes up because every Pokemon Presents is so boring, like <v Speaker 2>it's just only mix. <v Speaker 3>It's like what Master's ex and then the Cafe game. <v Speaker 2>It's always the same mobile games. The only thing that <v Speaker 2>will actually could be exciting in this Pokemon Presents is <v Speaker 2>Gen ten, which I'm assuming we will see. <v Speaker 1>But when we saw what gen. <v Speaker 2>Was the weed Cat nine nine. So when we saw nine, <v Speaker 2>it was a cinematic, very cinematic trailer. It was I'm <v Speaker 2>pretty sure it was the guy with the flashlight, the <v Speaker 2>security guard and yes, he walks into a room or <v Speaker 2>was that legends Okius? <v Speaker 3>Oh no, no, I feel like that that might have been <v Speaker 3>sword and shields. <v Speaker 2>I don't know, but it was very cinematic. And then <v Speaker 2>like I think you see the start of Pokemon maybe yes, <v Speaker 2>So like the first time you see it, it might not <v Speaker 2>be gameplay, It might not be like a look at <v Speaker 2>the region. It might be like a fun like reveal <v Speaker 2>of Gen ten. Yeah, but that could be the most <v Speaker 2>exciting thing that we're in foil probably end the event yep, <v Speaker 2>and the rest will be mobile. <v Speaker 3>I think at least get like the titles, like for <v Speaker 3>sure we'll get the titles of whatever both games are, yeah, <v Speaker 3>and then. <v Speaker 1>Win Winds and Waves. If the Winds and Waves, yeah, <v Speaker 1>I'm intrigued. So how like leave is that going to <v Speaker 1>be what the name or just like the announcement the theme? Uh? <v Speaker 3>I don't know, because I think because a lot of <v Speaker 3>the handheld or like the DS games or even just <v Speaker 3>like you know Game Boy, the whole trend of like <v Speaker 3>being colors and then what elements and then when they <v Speaker 3>went to Sun and Moon yeah R sorry, when they <v Speaker 3>went to X and Y first you're like, Okay, we're <v Speaker 3>out of colors we could use. Then you go to <v Speaker 3>Sun and Moon and then you go to Sword and Shield. <v Speaker 3>Now you're like, okay, you can really just do pairings <v Speaker 3>of anything. Starlett and Violet. That's like that rolls off <v Speaker 3>the tongue pretty well. Yeah, so winds and ways. I <v Speaker 3>do think that could work. I just don't know. I <v Speaker 3>don't really know what else you could do at this point. <v Speaker 3>They know more than I would at this point. <v Speaker 1>I mean, when when would they reach a point where, <v Speaker 1>like you have like too many Pokemon? <v Speaker 3>Well they were How many years are we in now <v Speaker 3>since Sword and Shield? I think almost seven years. <v Speaker 1>It's been a while. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, so no, sorry, not Stormshield, Scarlan Violet has been <v Speaker 3>a couple of years, but we're already well past the <v Speaker 3>one thousand Pokemon mark. <v Speaker 1>So like your Pokemon had, how many of those? Do <v Speaker 1>you actually know? Like remember how many of them? <v Speaker 3>Can you show me a picture? I probably could have <v Speaker 3>remember the names, but like off the dome, I could <v Speaker 3>probably do the original one fifty and maybe some more. <v Speaker 1>That's yeah, that's. <v Speaker 2>You do the first one fifty, Okay. I saw Venus, <v Speaker 2>saw the pokem total blast oys. <v Speaker 1>This is great. <v Speaker 2>I'm Lily do the whole thing, Cha Mander, million, Charazad <v Speaker 2>and that's in order, by the way, it is, that <v Speaker 2>is ev maybe no good. <v Speaker 1>At times you had me convinced. <v Speaker 3>I was scared you actually we're gonna do I'm like, oh, <v Speaker 3>my gosh, I'm not going. <v Speaker 1>To sit here and I could probably sit here and <v Speaker 1>get over a hundred. <v Speaker 3>Yeah yeah, well this thing is like for me, like <v Speaker 3>visual learner icers could say that, but like seeing the picture, like, <v Speaker 3>oh yeah, that's like fobas. <v Speaker 1>Don't you think it would be better for them to <v Speaker 1>just like build off of like maybe the older generations <v Speaker 1>and then like try to like instead of like constantly <v Speaker 1>giving you a new region with. <v Speaker 2>New what if they just did a Pokemon game with <v Speaker 2>no new Pokemon but every single Pokemon would I think <v Speaker 2>that's the other thing that like people always say like <v Speaker 2>that needs to be the game is like every region, <v Speaker 2>every Pokemon, every never could happen, because that is just <v Speaker 2>nobody would ever. <v Speaker 1>Buy a Pokemon game. <v Speaker 2>Afterwards, you could do it like if it wasn't game <v Speaker 2>freak who suck at making video games, and you did <v Speaker 2>like a Witch of Three style map with older regions <v Speaker 2>and every Pokemon, and then you could have like there's <v Speaker 2>like a pot in Witch of Three where you're going <v Speaker 2>through like the Bug and there's like a there's like <v Speaker 2>a troll in the Bug. Imagine you're like going through <v Speaker 2>some area in this game and there's just like a <v Speaker 2>big like snall at or something like blocking the path. Yeah, yeah, exactly. <v Speaker 2>That would be sick. <v Speaker 1>That would be really cool. It's not ever going to happen. <v Speaker 3>Wasn't it fire Red and had the snore that was <v Speaker 3>red and blue. Yeah, it was the first one that <v Speaker 3>had the pokey flute and red and fire Red. I <v Speaker 3>remember when you beat it, you got a whole nother <v Speaker 3>region at the end. <v Speaker 1>Right, No, that was gold and silver? Was it? Because <v Speaker 1>you go back to but then uh? <v Speaker 2>Or no, I think you're I think the fire Red <v Speaker 2>you unlock something at the end. <v Speaker 1>No, no, no, no. <v Speaker 3>Or no, because you're probably thinking because the Ruby and <v Speaker 3>Sapphire came out before fire Red Leaf Green. But I <v Speaker 3>think there was some connection there. <v Speaker 2>Certain fire Are you sure at the end of fire <v Speaker 2>Red you didn't visit like the Ruby and Sapphire area. <v Speaker 1>They didn't add on some content. Maybe you got like <v Speaker 1>some of the Pokemon, like some of the legendary No, <v Speaker 1>you could trade, but you have to have the connector <v Speaker 1>Oh yeah. <v Speaker 2>You're thinking of another game. Yeah, I swear it was <v Speaker 2>that one. I you like, you beat it and then <v Speaker 2>it's like he has a whole new area. Yeah, definitely, Okay, <v Speaker 2>that's it. Sorry, I look at the chat the Sevy Islands, <v Speaker 2>That's what it was. That's how you get like some <v Speaker 2>of like the yeah that's island. That's right, okay, yeah, <v Speaker 2>then the Rainbow Pass. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I naw more than you, I name more than <v Speaker 1>the Pokemon guy got me. He got me? All right? <v Speaker 2>So do you want to do some predictions like yes <v Speaker 2>or no? Is fire red and leaf green happening? <v Speaker 1>I'm gonna go no. <v Speaker 3>I'm also gonna say no solely because I think Genen <v Speaker 3>is the spotlight. But yeah, I would like it for <v Speaker 3>you because it's it's the thirtieth anniversary, so I feel <v Speaker 3>like there has to be there has to be more. <v Speaker 3>They're like there's either like they say that they're coming <v Speaker 3>or or it's just that hey me, or. <v Speaker 1>I don't even know what they could do, to be honest. <v Speaker 2>Last year was the fifth year anniversary of Black and White, <v Speaker 2>so like it's always that. <v Speaker 1>Was that's been more than that. It's been like ten <v Speaker 1>plus years. What was it? It was? <v Speaker 2>What was the thing for last year then? But why <v Speaker 2>everyone thought it was black and white? It was like <v Speaker 2>five years and something like ten years since black I <v Speaker 2>rememberen just ten years. Yeah, but it's always it's always <v Speaker 2>an anniversary. It's always something from something. There's always something <v Speaker 2>that you had. Last year was fifteen years. Did Black <v Speaker 2>White came in like twenty ten or eleven? Yeah, I'm <v Speaker 2>thinking of black two and white too. That's to Black <v Speaker 2>whitey twelve. So you're right, Yeah, okay, yeah, yes, Oh no, Sally, <v Speaker 2>I'm gonna say yes because my boy said, I was. <v Speaker 1>Hoping you would. You know, I don't put it, but <v Speaker 1>I hope, you know, maybe the Riddler's right. Maybybe theler <v Speaker 1>is why somebody has to the riddle somebody else to <v Speaker 1>have faith in my boy. Boys, we'll check out with <v Speaker 1>the boy. You know. That's funny. But you were saying <v Speaker 1>earlier like they like, you know, the spotlight has to <v Speaker 1>be on the next gen. How would Pokemon Fire and <v Speaker 1>leave Green take away that spotlight? You're right, I mean yeah, <v Speaker 1>it just doesn't make sense. It's not like these games <v Speaker 1>are gonna come. <v Speaker 2>Ou especially if fire Red and Leaf Green drop like <v Speaker 2>this month and then like that day, but Shadow drop <v Speaker 2>it on the shop like boy when then Gen ten <v Speaker 2>comes out? <v Speaker 1>Yep. <v Speaker 2>I think the other thing, the other thing we didn't <v Speaker 2>touch on is yet where did the rumor that they <v Speaker 2>were thirty dollars come from. <v Speaker 1>I don't know. <v Speaker 2>So if it wasn't from uh Riddler, because he speaks <v Speaker 2>in riddles, yeah, so he would have said, yeah. All <v Speaker 2>the posts that we've seen, like we send each other, <v Speaker 2>have been like, oh a thirty dollars price point essentially, <v Speaker 2>so price of red. <v Speaker 1>Well, that's funny if he's actually just like doing things <v Speaker 1>in riddles. Hey man, his name is Riddler. His name <v Speaker 1>is Riddler. <v Speaker 2>I'm trying to find out, like price of fire actually <v Speaker 2>fire red and leaf green. I want to know where <v Speaker 2>that because I've seen that too. <v Speaker 3>Someone's actually saying all the Pokemon and chat someone's saying <v Speaker 3>someone's actually listing all the Pokemon by poked. <v Speaker 1>I should have just read and pretended that I knew, Yo, Matteo, <v Speaker 1>you'll probably copy pasting these because you're typing a little <v Speaker 1>too fast, brother, So I. <v Speaker 2>Can't find anything about it being thirty bucks. I think <v Speaker 2>that's just what people are speculating and throwing out on <v Speaker 2>the internet. <v Speaker 3>And it would you be okay with that if that <v Speaker 3>was thirty dollars GVA game, I feel like it's too high, bro, <v Speaker 3>for two, I mean, I would only buy one for two. <v Speaker 1>If it was two for thirty, oh, two for thirty, <v Speaker 1>that's a good deal. <v Speaker 3>But like the way that I've been seeing it, like <v Speaker 3>if it is just truly rumor, it'd be thirty each, uh, <v Speaker 3>sixty dollars and digital lonely probably, Uh, I must do <v Speaker 3>like game physicals would. <v Speaker 1>Be sick if they were like in the case. Oh, <v Speaker 1>and make color like the Sea's. <v Speaker 3>The thing too, is that I wish the switch to <v Speaker 3>cart or even just the switch carters had like some <v Speaker 3>more color to them. Yea, remember like how like even <v Speaker 3>the three DS ones they were all white. The Pokemon <v Speaker 3>ones had some color variance to them, I believe on <v Speaker 3>the DS. But yeah, now they're just the bright Red's <v Speaker 3>pretty cool. <v Speaker 2>Now if we got if they came like this and <v Speaker 2>it was fire red and leaf green and you had <v Speaker 2>like two separate things like this, Yeah, I'd spend fifty <v Speaker 2>bucks if they want up to up to if they <v Speaker 2>were on the car and not game key cut, well <v Speaker 2>what Yeah, that would be really weird if they make <v Speaker 2>that for the nostalgia and to own it physically and <v Speaker 2>for it to be on the car, and maybe if <v Speaker 2>there's a little manual in there, digital poster. <v Speaker 1>Or digit through like the original and. <v Speaker 2>That's purely me like consumerism out of my mind, Like, <v Speaker 2>what's the most I would pay for nostalgia post? <v Speaker 1>Yeah? <v Speaker 2>Right, and like the thing is and a poster. The <v Speaker 2>thing is, it's what Nintendo and Pokemon Company would do. <v Speaker 2>They would re release those in charge as much as <v Speaker 2>they possibly can. So that's just what I'm predicting for <v Speaker 2>the most digitally, I don't know, I don't know. Thirty <v Speaker 2>I guess does sound like the most? <v Speaker 1>Yeah? Reasonably? Would it come as a standalone game or do <v Speaker 1>you think it would be included in the Nintendo Switch Online. <v Speaker 1>I think they want to do they would charge. <v Speaker 3>They would if they do that on NSL, then they <v Speaker 3>have to do the other ones. <v Speaker 1>They are putting Pokemon Colisseum on the online this month, <v Speaker 1>I think this month. <v Speaker 2>I think it's this month. Okay, so I'll probably line <v Speaker 2>up with the direct honestly for the announcement. Yeah, but <v Speaker 2>it's just these, like the core mainline titles. They've just <v Speaker 2>been so stingy about giving us those because they want. <v Speaker 1>To charge for it. All. <v Speaker 2>Right, next we're gonna do something, but after that, I <v Speaker 2>want to get into the Then I switched to rumors. <v Speaker 2>Because you remember how last week we talked about I <v Speaker 2>think it was last week or the week before Nash <v Speaker 2>Wheedle under that name. So he's predicted that a direct <v Speaker 2>is happening next week. Yes, really, yeah, don't get. <v Speaker 1>Your hopes up. <v Speaker 2>So we're gonna talk about that after we do today's sponsor. <v Speaker 1>Tokyo Scramble. <v Speaker 2>No way, actually yeah, actually kind of crazy as featured <v Speaker 2>in the direct, as featured in the direct last week, <v Speaker 2>and the game that released yesterday that I played, Tokyo Scrambled, So. <v Speaker 1>Oh god. <v Speaker 2>That music it hits, doesn't it? Boston Nova Beat type. <v Speaker 2>You don't have to show my screen just yet. I'm <v Speaker 2>going to talk about it and then I'm going to <v Speaker 2>show it so you can click the link in the <v Speaker 2>description down below. It's on the E shop right now. <v Speaker 2>I'm going to show you my gameplay over it in <v Speaker 2>a minute. Jah, Go down the description and check out <v Speaker 2>the game on the shop. Tokyo Scramble is a survival <v Speaker 2>puzzle action game set deep below Tokyo, where clear thinking <v Speaker 2>and split second decisions could be the difference between life <v Speaker 2>and death. On a way to meet her friend's eighteen <v Speaker 2>year old and abruptly plunges through a fisher in the Earth. <v Speaker 1>Did I say that right? Fisher Fisher? Yeah, on her <v Speaker 1>subway ride. <v Speaker 2>So yeah, I played this game last night and you're <v Speaker 2>just on the subway and then it crashes and then <v Speaker 2>there's dinosaurs everywhere. And the cool thing about the game <v Speaker 2>that I don't know if this talks about yet is <v Speaker 2>you can do it in game share, and everyone that <v Speaker 2>plays with you, up to like four or five people <v Speaker 2>I should probably read it, can have control of a <v Speaker 2>different part of the game. So I was playing last <v Speaker 2>night and my friend Fried Biscuits was controlling the movement, <v Speaker 2>and then I was controlling the camera. <v Speaker 1>And also like activating things. I'll show you. It's very fun. <v Speaker 2>Tokyo Scramble is a challenging, exhilarating adventure where your chances <v Speaker 2>of surviving your first play through a low. The game <v Speaker 2>also allows players to have the ability to communicate with <v Speaker 2>other participants and viewers through live streams while experimenting and <v Speaker 2>learning together through trial and error. It supports up to <v Speaker 2>four players total using the Switch two's game share feature, <v Speaker 2>allowing the switch to hosts to share a single game <v Speaker 2>with other or nearby switch to consoles rather than give <v Speaker 2>each player their own character. Tokyo Scramble lets you split <v Speaker 2>up controls to help and reach safety. That is where <v Speaker 2>this game shines, so you can we can do this. <v Speaker 2>This is my gameplay last night, so I've already set <v Speaker 2>up game share here and you can see the player too. <v Speaker 2>That's my friend Fried Biscuits. So he's deciding if he <v Speaker 2>wants to take movement, actions apps or camera and apps <v Speaker 2>is like controlling around the world, like activating things. So <v Speaker 2>at first he took apps or he took actions, I <v Speaker 2>can't remember. We ended up switching it on the fly <v Speaker 2>to movement because at any point everyone can change. <v Speaker 1>Okay, oh wow, So yeah, so I'm going to skip <v Speaker 1>ahead a little bit here, so you guys are only <v Speaker 1>limited to taking one command. <v Speaker 2>So you can you can decide how much control you want. <v Speaker 2>So right now, in this part of the game, he's <v Speaker 2>controlling the movement. I've got him crouched and I'm controlling <v Speaker 2>the camera. <v Speaker 1>Oh okay. <v Speaker 2>And I alternated between like actually helping and then and <v Speaker 2>then just sprinting out of nowhere and being like, hey, <v Speaker 2>why you're running while you're running, and I'm also holding <v Speaker 2>the camera towards the dinosaurs so he can't see where <v Speaker 2>he's going and he keeps falling off that pile. It's <v Speaker 2>very funny. Fortunately they can't hear him right now. You <v Speaker 2>see me laughing because like I know that I'm messing <v Speaker 2>with him, And then I gave him the camera and <v Speaker 2>I'm like, ego, you could look at it. So, oh <v Speaker 2>you just got right up to him. That's funny. I <v Speaker 2>can show you some of the traps because we got <v Speaker 2>stuck in one of these parts for a while. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>we couldn't figure out this escalator for a bit. Oh jeez, yeah, <v Speaker 2>I know. So there's a part coming up here. <v Speaker 1>Where did we do it? Actually I might have already <v Speaker 1>gone through it. I think it was that part. Actually, sorry, <v Speaker 1>I'm doing this on the fly. Okay, So yeah, this <v Speaker 1>part here, there's an elevator at the top here, and <v Speaker 1>I can activate it by looking at it and pressing <v Speaker 1>a button and it drops it on this dinosaur and <v Speaker 1>squishes him. Oh nice. Oh wow. <v Speaker 2>So if you had four people, you could have someone <v Speaker 2>activating everything and distracting and trying to kill the things. <v Speaker 2>You could have someone moving, someone doing the camera, and <v Speaker 2>then someone doing what was the last thing there was <v Speaker 2>something else actions, so like crouching sprinting, but you. <v Speaker 1>Guys are all limited to the same camera view though, right, Yeah, <v Speaker 1>and that's however came. Yeah, that sounds like a fun <v Speaker 1>party in so this is where the game excels. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>this is definitely It's definitely a fun party game. And <v Speaker 1>person buys it and then you can all play it. <v Speaker 1>And you know, Fried Biscuits is in Brooklyn, so we <v Speaker 1>were doing it online and yeah, it's a lot of fun. <v Speaker 1>So whether it's two people trying to get through the <v Speaker 1>game or four people, this is definitely where the game excels. <v Speaker 1>And I love that because you know the switch to <v Speaker 1>it's released with like a ton of features like a <v Speaker 1>camera and game share. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, blah blah blah. Not many people have used it correctly. <v Speaker 2>I feel like this is taking this is innovation. This <v Speaker 2>is taking a concept like game share and being like, <v Speaker 2>how can we innovate it and create a fun game <v Speaker 2>and splitting controllers which is really unique. <v Speaker 1>So does it have a campaign motor? Is it just <v Speaker 1>like this is it? It's it's kind of like you <v Speaker 1>have to step through certain areas and area is a <v Speaker 1>different puzzle, different dinosaurs. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, So click the link of the description if you <v Speaker 2>want to check it out. Thank you Tokyo Scramble for <v Speaker 2>sponsoring this video, and let's get back into the action here. <v Speaker 2>There you go, I was about to do it, had <v Speaker 2>my finger on the button. Okay, I think I said <v Speaker 2>everything I was supposed to do there. Okay, let's go <v Speaker 2>into the end of Direct rumor for the third week <v Speaker 2>of February with a three D. Mario so Leek has <v Speaker 2>attacked the backlog and Nash wheedle We mentioned both of <v Speaker 2>these people recently, who is generally considered to be unreliable <v Speaker 2>but may have gotten a couple things right. That's very <v Speaker 2>accurate way of describing it. So if you've seen all <v Speaker 2>the Direct stuff online, take it with a pinch of salt, <v Speaker 2>is what I want to say. They claim that we <v Speaker 2>should expect a mainline Direct on the third week of February, <v Speaker 2>which is next week. So this is what my friend <v Speaker 2>RGT said about this. They are claiming it's happening next week. <v Speaker 2>They are saying it's Sean checked with Nate the hate <v Speaker 2>because they're really close. Nate's heard nothing about this, which <v Speaker 2>is usually not a good sign. For example, when I <v Speaker 2>did my fake leak, Nate was very quick to be like, <v Speaker 2>I've heard nothing about that because I was lying, yeah <v Speaker 2>you so, Nate not hearing about it is not a <v Speaker 2>good sign. So what Sean said was them coming out <v Speaker 2>and saying this, if they're right, we can finally look <v Speaker 2>at them and be like, Okay, if they say something, <v Speaker 2>it's probably going to be right. If they're wrong, we <v Speaker 2>need to stop because that's that's that's they're confidently saying. <v Speaker 1>So this is their last chance. This is this is <v Speaker 1>Nash the wheel. Yeah, put it all on here, all in. <v Speaker 2>So the thing with him and attack the backlog is <v Speaker 2>that they are very unreliable. They have got some things <v Speaker 2>right in the past. I don't know what it was. <v Speaker 2>I don't know if they've ever done a Nintendo direct <v Speaker 2>claim in the past, but they've also been wrong a lot, <v Speaker 2>so this could really fall into either side of the fence. <v Speaker 2>I will say that I was hoping that there was <v Speaker 2>going to be a direct the week after the partner <v Speaker 2>showcase because Nintendo have done that before, where they've done <v Speaker 2>back to backs. <v Speaker 1>I think last time was an indie direct and a <v Speaker 1>partner showcase. At this point where the Pokemon presents what <v Speaker 1>the week after, yeah, should be. It's a lot for <v Speaker 1>February I don't think it's out of the question. I <v Speaker 1>was more thinking this week, especially the lineup with like <v Speaker 1>Mario Tennis fever coming out today, could have been good <v Speaker 1>to get a final plug in. But I don't think <v Speaker 1>the timing isn't out of the question. It's more whether <v Speaker 1>or not I'm going to go all in on Nash <v Speaker 1>Wheedle and I'm going to say no because Nate hasn't <v Speaker 1>heard anything about it. The other thing that threw me <v Speaker 1>off is this is like three days ago they said this. <v Speaker 1>That's a long way out to hear about it Nate. <v Speaker 2>Usually, I've not the last time Nate gave us a <v Speaker 2>week in advance, and that's the most we've ever had. <v Speaker 2>It's usually like it's usually like a day or two <v Speaker 2>before Nintendo announces it's happening, that's when we hear about it. <v Speaker 2>So this is like a week and a half out, Yeah, <v Speaker 2>which is a lot of strong reliable for that. And <v Speaker 2>I think we've like for this month, especially we already <v Speaker 2>have Pokemon coming up. I do think like March is <v Speaker 2>probably the best target date for a direct just I <v Speaker 2>think March makes more sense a lot of like heavy <v Speaker 2>hitters in March because I immediately. <v Speaker 3>That comes to mind as the direct in twenty eighteen <v Speaker 3>where they revealed Smash Ultimate and they packed that one <v Speaker 3>for so much because they wanted to get all the <v Speaker 3>announcements out before the summer. So probably the same scenario <v Speaker 3>here where they do it in March. I could see <v Speaker 3>I can again, I could see it next week. But <v Speaker 3>if it's not, if it doesn't happen next week, we <v Speaker 3>all look at it much I do March or April. <v Speaker 2>So I'm going to say about this direct rumor tied <v Speaker 2>along also with the next three D Mario for next week, <v Speaker 2>I'm going to say, just like the fire Red and <v Speaker 2>Leaf Green. <v Speaker 1>No, yeah, I'm possible for me. I just you're passing <v Speaker 1>to yeah, yeah, I just don't see it happening, Okay. <v Speaker 1>I mean because yeah, like you said, Pokemon direct in <v Speaker 1>like a week, yeah, or two weeks we just had <v Speaker 1>a direct, it's a lot. Yeah, they're really going to <v Speaker 1>overshadow the Pokemon direct with like all these Yeah. <v Speaker 2>I also wonder too, because like a partner direct, sure <v Speaker 2>we've had them before, they're usually spaced out away from <v Speaker 2>normal directs because Nintendo aren't ready to do a direct yet, right, <v Speaker 2>Because we get directs out are sixty minutes long. <v Speaker 1>That has Nintendo stuff and partner stuff. Yeah. So if <v Speaker 1>Nintendo weren't ready by like a week or two, I <v Speaker 1>think they would have like held off on the partner <v Speaker 1>and did a big one or something. But it seems <v Speaker 1>more like when not ready, we'll do a partner and <v Speaker 1>then next month we'll get to ours or something like that. <v Speaker 1>The trend. Yeah, yeah, you think there's going to be <v Speaker 1>a direct specific or was it confirmed for the Super <v Speaker 1>Mario Bros. Wonder Bella Park a whole direct for that? No, <v Speaker 1>not for like an add in add on. They've done <v Speaker 1>that though for a couple of games. Yeah, they did <v Speaker 1>it for a couple of yeh, Donkey Kong and I <v Speaker 1>believe Mario Kart. <v Speaker 2>I thought they might have done one for Tennis Fever, <v Speaker 2>but they know. I mean it was because it's out today. Yeah, true. <v Speaker 1>Which we're going to. <v Speaker 2>Talk about actually, which is I think the next thing <v Speaker 2>on our like Docker things to talk about unless you <v Speaker 2>guys want to Nope, that's in the side quest. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>we're going to dive into Mario Tennis Fever. I are <v Speaker 2>you ready? <v Speaker 1>Actually? Are we good on that direct stuff? Yeah? <v Speaker 2>I think it's too much more to say, like we <v Speaker 2>could do like a whole what do we hope to see? <v Speaker 2>But because none of us are confident that it's even happening, <v Speaker 2>it seems like a waste of breath. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, but again, just like with the Riddler, if we're <v Speaker 2>wrong about the Weaedler, I'll apologize, I sorry, and then well, <v Speaker 2>next time they say something, I'll definitely have it on <v Speaker 2>my notes to believe it. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, but I'm just I guess I'm skeptical, just got <v Speaker 1>a way. Yeah. <v Speaker 2>The Nate thing is like Nate just I don't know, <v Speaker 2>He's like the Bible at this point, He's like the <v Speaker 2>Nintendo League Bible. He he definitely has an in like literally, <v Speaker 2>Like so I called Nate a friend of the show. <v Speaker 2>It's a little bit of a little bit of a <v Speaker 2>koy thing because I've never actually talked to Nate directly. <v Speaker 1>I don't think. <v Speaker 2>We just talk about him a lot because he comes <v Speaker 2>up in conversations all the time. <v Speaker 1>But I'm certainly I thought he was your friend. I'd <v Speaker 1>love to get to know him. I'm like, imagine he <v Speaker 1>gives you until early and then has you leak and <v Speaker 1>redeem yourself. <v Speaker 2>Well here's what Well, My whole thing is I don't <v Speaker 2>That's why I did the leak thing because I hate leaks. <v Speaker 1>I want to do that. <v Speaker 2>But I'm obviously really close friends with RGT et five, <v Speaker 2>like we've been friends for too long at this point, <v Speaker 2>and he's close friends with Nate. So usually what I <v Speaker 2>do when I hear something, I'll message Sean and I'll <v Speaker 2>be like, like, hey, have you heard anything, And it'll <v Speaker 2>be like yes or no, and it's because in Nate. <v Speaker 2>So it's kind of like I don't know if Nate <v Speaker 2>knows this, but I kind of have like a go through. <v Speaker 2>I have a middleman for Nate. Yeah, and it's RGT <v Speaker 2>eighty five. So yeah. And then sometimes I will also <v Speaker 2>check with Spawn because they're all like connected, Yeah, all <v Speaker 2>know the stuff. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I love Spawn. I'm trying to get him down <v Speaker 1>actually because he lives pretty close by. Very nice. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>he said he will. We want to work out together, <v Speaker 1>as we always work out together. Nice. I'm trying to <v Speaker 1>line it up content right there. Uh yeah, film the <v Speaker 1>workout put on Patreon. There you go. <v Speaker 2>Um, okay, it's took your scramble again. Uh no, this <v Speaker 2>stream we played took a scramble at the end. But <v Speaker 2>this stream we played some Mario Tennis, me and Scoot, <v Speaker 2>So I want to give like my first impressions of <v Speaker 2>it for people that didn't watch the stream. It came <v Speaker 2>out today off the rip, I want to say it's <v Speaker 2>seventy dollars. <v Speaker 1>Seventy. <v Speaker 2>There is a whole conversation I'm thinking about having either <v Speaker 2>on my main channel or maybe here at some point <v Speaker 2>with like what what is Nintendo's variable pricing, Like you know, <v Speaker 2>when Mariocott was eighty and they were like, we're experimenting <v Speaker 2>with variable pricing. Everything has been seventy dollars, like just everything. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>for real, I don't this game is not like blanket statement, <v Speaker 2>this game's not worth seventy dollars. So it's not a <v Speaker 2>bad game, but it's tennis, you know, and it offers tennis. <v Speaker 2>Seventy is just a lot for something that's like a <v Speaker 2>one trick pony, Like if this was tennis, baseball, soccer, <v Speaker 2>Mario something else too, and it was like four quality sports, <v Speaker 2>like sports that you could like bounce between, and they were, oh, <v Speaker 2>the quality of this game seventy sure, yeah, but this <v Speaker 2>it's literally I played it last night for a couple <v Speaker 2>hours and I got burnt out because it's it's tennis, Like, there's. <v Speaker 1>Only what did you play the adventure mode? So I <v Speaker 1>bounced around. <v Speaker 2>I did play the adventure mode, and I got to <v Speaker 2>tell you, the adventure mode was disappointing for me, and <v Speaker 2>it did actually hurt my feelings a little bit. Oh wow, <v Speaker 2>Because so all right, I'm gonna start with the positives. <v Speaker 2>I really liked Tennis ACES. I actually did play Tennis <v Speaker 2>Aces on interest last Gendle quite a bit. I thought <v Speaker 2>it was that was good. I thought it was the <v Speaker 2>best sport game they did. Out of what did we have. <v Speaker 2>We had Aces, we had Strikers, and we had Super Rush, <v Speaker 2>which was a golf I think that was it. I <v Speaker 2>think Tennis was my favorite, followed by Golf, and then <v Speaker 2>Strikers wasn't very great. Aces was awesome, not only because <v Speaker 2>the gameplay and the tennis was really fun, but because <v Speaker 2>the story mode was like a whole adventure mode where <v Speaker 2>you kind of like played through a Mario Party type <v Speaker 2>board game overworld, and then every level was like, okay, <v Speaker 2>now you're fighting a giant pad piranha, and along the <v Speaker 2>way you were learning how to play the game and <v Speaker 2>getting better at it. But it was also like it <v Speaker 2>was interactive and story and it was like exciting. <v Speaker 1>And yeah, there was like an incentive to like keep going. <v Speaker 2>Then they did the Golf one and the story mode <v Speaker 2>for that everyone hated because it was like in like <v Speaker 2>a golf academy and it was very slow paced and <v Speaker 2>it was very tutorial and it was very like go <v Speaker 2>here and go here and go here this person. They <v Speaker 2>did that again for this. Yeah, so in this mode. <v Speaker 2>By the way, if you're wondering why, I don't know. <v Speaker 2>I'm gonna stay on the good. I'm getting into the bad. <v Speaker 2>I will finish my thought. <v Speaker 1>Though. If you're wondering why it's called Mario Tennis Fever, <v Speaker 1>it's because Daisy's sick. Really, Yeah, the cut so the <v Speaker 1>cut scene. Really, I don't know when I start playing specifically, Yeah, <v Speaker 1>so hold on fever. She has a fever. <v Speaker 2>Oh no, at least I think that's I mean, I <v Speaker 2>don't know what else to assume, So I don't know <v Speaker 2>where I start doing the story mode I was actually <v Speaker 2>to begin with, I was like, oh no, the story <v Speaker 2>mode is a slide show, because it starts with a <v Speaker 2>slide show. Yeah, there she is. So Daisy is sick. <v Speaker 2>And then you have to go and like get like <v Speaker 2>a magic apple or something to cure her. So she <v Speaker 2>has a fever. So it's Mario Tennis fever because Daisy's sick. <v Speaker 2>But is there also like like a fever mechanic in <v Speaker 2>the game. <v Speaker 1>Well, like the it's really but it definitely the way <v Speaker 1>they baked it in the story was that she has <v Speaker 1>a fever. Yeah, it's a double meaning. Oh wow, isn't <v Speaker 1>that weird? Daisy characters Mario Tennis, COVID, But why wouldn't <v Speaker 1>it be Peach of anyone too? That's what I was thinking. <v Speaker 1>I don't know. He had a historical run in twenty <v Speaker 1>twenty five with the twenty twenty four with Super Mario Bros. <v Speaker 2>Wonder Yeah, it has been in development since COVID probably <v Speaker 2>Well anyway, I was like, oh no, it's just you <v Speaker 2>can see on my face right now. I'm actually disappointed <v Speaker 2>because I'm like, oh, the cut scene is a slide <v Speaker 2>shirt the realization, but it actually it opens up into <v Speaker 2>a really really awesome animated cut scene that's like Mario <v Speaker 2>movie level quality. And I instantly had egg on my <v Speaker 2>face and I was like, oh, wait, this is sick. <v Speaker 1>This is awesome. This is really looks good. Yeah, so anyway, <v Speaker 1>that's a positive. This was a positive. <v Speaker 2>It it ends up U spoiler, but it's literally the <v Speaker 2>first cut scene the Wallawigi and Warrior they steal something <v Speaker 2>they shouldn't and then it triggers this like a cosmic <v Speaker 2>event that turns you all into babies. There now you're <v Speaker 2>all babies, which, by the way, I don't know if <v Speaker 2>I could be misremembering. <v Speaker 1>I was gonna say, I don't know if I've seen. <v Speaker 2>Baby Warrior and Wig. I don't think I love them. <v Speaker 2>They must have been like some spin off. <v Speaker 1>But yeah, yeah, I don't remember, but I really liked them. <v Speaker 1>They're very cute. <v Speaker 2>Then you go back, like you leave that whole exciting <v Speaker 2>area that I thought was going to be part of <v Speaker 2>the game, and you go to this essentially tennis academy, <v Speaker 2>and it's just a lot of talking to characters and <v Speaker 2>dialogue in between doing weird little mini games. I have <v Speaker 2>nothing to do with tennis, okay, So it's very bizarre. <v Speaker 2>Apparently it's only four hours long. Yeah, so you can <v Speaker 2>knock it out pretty quickly, leaving you just with tennis. <v Speaker 1>Okay, But most people don't buy Mario tennis games. For <v Speaker 1>the story mode. <v Speaker 2>Well, no, because they they're not good, but I feel <v Speaker 2>like if you made them good, if you made it fun, <v Speaker 2>Like I really liked the Tennis as one. <v Speaker 1>I like tenness. I was really big into Mario Tennis <v Speaker 1>Open for three DS. Ye, a good story mode. I <v Speaker 1>mean it was a short story mode, but it was <v Speaker 1>like teaching you the game, but it was the I <v Speaker 1>actually enjoyed playing it online multiplayer with my friends. You know. <v Speaker 2>I guess I don't know why, but I really want <v Speaker 2>there to be like a good, robust story mode. It's <v Speaker 2>just I think that's what I like about these games <v Speaker 2>is that it's Mario, it's Nintendo, so like there's a <v Speaker 2>there's a level of expected quality. I guess you have <v Speaker 2>the sport, but then you also have this like Nintendo <v Speaker 2>tailored adventure alongside it, which I think is a service <v Speaker 2>that they've offered in a lot of the games. <v Speaker 1>I mean, Smash the Mario Sonic Olympic games. Yeah, I <v Speaker 1>was just thinking about that because they do it really well. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, and it sucks they're not doing them anymore because <v Speaker 3>I feel like those are like some of the best <v Speaker 3>sports games with both what Sega pulled the plug, I <v Speaker 3>think so yeah, it was right after because they aren't <v Speaker 3>doing it for they haven't been any do it for Paris, <v Speaker 3>and they won't do it for l A. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. <v Speaker 3>I have so many good memories of Beijing of London. Yeah, <v Speaker 3>those are really fun snowboarding. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, those were sick, I haven't. <v Speaker 2>I have a funny note in my side quest doc <v Speaker 2>actually that we never got to that was about the <v Speaker 2>Mario and Sonic games because apparently there was some like <v Speaker 2>big drama behind the scenes because in the collaboration it <v Speaker 2>was in Nintendo's uh demands that Sonic could never look <v Speaker 2>like he was beating Mario. I did so much that <v Speaker 2>I could cut to it quickly. Actually, I'm going to <v Speaker 2>throw throw away and I'm going to go This has <v Speaker 2>been in my dock since we've been the last four episodes, <v Speaker 2>and I never got around to it. I'm going to <v Speaker 2>go back to tennis because I have a lot of <v Speaker 2>nice things to say. I'm going to get back to it. <v Speaker 2>There's a lot that I like about it. Of course, <v Speaker 2>it's just the prices a lot. Nintendo allegedly expressed dissatisfaction <v Speaker 2>at Sega during the development of Myrons after seeing Sonic's <v Speaker 2>foot placed ahead of Marius. No way, they had it <v Speaker 2>in that contract that that Sonic could never look like <v Speaker 2>he was beating Mario. <v Speaker 1>Sonic objectively beats Mario in any speed rays period. <v Speaker 2>I'm just talented actively that It's like how the Rock <v Speaker 2>has it in his contract that he can never be <v Speaker 2>like filmed Losing's no way. <v Speaker 1>I actually heard that he can. <v Speaker 2>Never like lose. And I think Vin Diesel has the <v Speaker 2>same thing movies. Yeah, so when they're like on a <v Speaker 2>scene together, like both of them always have to at <v Speaker 2>least tie, like they can never lose to each other anyway. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, no, And I guess. <v Speaker 2>Because Sonic's foot technically looks ahead of Mario's foot, which <v Speaker 2>is funny because like Mario's hand is clearly in front <v Speaker 2>of Sonic's. <v Speaker 1>Hand, does not. I couldn't even tell you that what <v Speaker 1>Sonics foot is the ahead of Marios. And even if <v Speaker 1>that was the case, like and yeah, I know, it's <v Speaker 1>very funny. It's just it's funny to me that we <v Speaker 1>ended up here organically, because as Nintendo alleged, so again, <v Speaker 1>this could be you know. <v Speaker 3>Oh you know, I wantn't be surprised if that was the <v Speaker 3>actual reason, because that I wonder who a Nintendo. Oh <v Speaker 3>is this from Beijing? Were they talking about the newest <v Speaker 3>game that it was in front or are they going <v Speaker 3>back and saying, wait a second, this art has because <v Speaker 3>it's like a twenty year old game, because that's Tokyo <v Speaker 3>there in the video. <v Speaker 2>So this is it's a story that came from someone <v Speaker 2>who worked on the game's development. <v Speaker 1>Okay, so I would. I would. <v Speaker 2>It's alleged because he doesn't want to get sued. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>but it's coming directly, it's coming from there. There was <v Speaker 2>artwork of Mario and Sonic and you know, other characters <v Speaker 2>standing on the field, and those artworks were used for <v Speaker 2>the package, the instruction manual, the cartridge label and things <v Speaker 2>like that. There was one small era and Sonic's foot <v Speaker 2>was in front of Mario's foot, he continued, and Nintendo <v Speaker 2>demanded us to change the priority, asking if Sega agreed <v Speaker 2>to the change, he said, the game developers said, of course, <v Speaker 2>and made the change for Nintendo, where like, oh my god, <v Speaker 2>we have to change it or there will be no deal. <v Speaker 1>Oh no, it's very funny. <v Speaker 2>It's so funny when you consider that, yes, Sonic just <v Speaker 2>is faster, Yeah he is, Like that's just holding I <v Speaker 2>always so I haven't really played these games before. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>the concept of it, especially then running has always been <v Speaker 2>so funny to me because like your Mario can win <v Speaker 2>a jumping contest maybe, but like a running contest, like <v Speaker 2>what a power there? <v Speaker 3>Because I think some of the games like they give <v Speaker 3>you like if you get like the Superstar, like you <v Speaker 3>can like jump ahead, but like. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, this is like me doing promo shots with Ussein <v Speaker 2>Bolt and being like but I always have to look <v Speaker 2>in front, yeah, because obviously I would be yeah. Uh anyway, <v Speaker 2>sorry about that little tangent. They're very funny. <v Speaker 1>It's funny. It's funny. We came back to that. You're right. <v Speaker 2>So here is uh just the gameplay. This is me <v Speaker 2>and my friends scoop playing last night. So the main mechanic, <v Speaker 2>the new mechanic of these fever rackets where they will <v Speaker 2>have these different wacky abilities. So when you charge up <v Speaker 2>enough bar and you do like a like he just <v Speaker 2>did a mud shot. Now there's mud all over my side. <v Speaker 2>If I walk in it, I get slowed. And if <v Speaker 2>the bull lands in it, it me immediately you don't <v Speaker 2>have you have to hit it before the second bounce. Yea, <v Speaker 2>it will immediately get covered in mud and do a <v Speaker 2>quick second bounce. So I got a lot of points. Actually, <v Speaker 2>they started calling me the mud man last night. <v Speaker 1>And this is exclusive ability. No, it's a racket. <v Speaker 2>So the characters have different speeds and power, so like <v Speaker 2>Luma's probably very fast, Peach I believe is technical, like <v Speaker 2>Bowser is powerful, right, and then your rackets have all <v Speaker 2>these different like flavors and abilities. So I'm using a <v Speaker 2>gust one right now, which when I activate the ability, <v Speaker 2>where are the bull lands will make a tornado. If <v Speaker 2>they hit the tornado, they get blown to the side. <v Speaker 2>If the ball hits the tornado, it spins in it <v Speaker 2>for a second and shoots out. <v Speaker 1>Somewhere random broll. This looks like so much fun. <v Speaker 2>Honestly, this mode is very fun. That does it is <v Speaker 2>very fun, And I will say the amount of characters <v Speaker 2>is pretty cool. Let me see if I can find that. <v Speaker 2>I'm having a hard time cutting around here because the <v Speaker 2>time stamps at the bottom with the little picture is. <v Speaker 1>Not what I see when I click on it. Okay, <v Speaker 1>I've changed characters here, so let me go back. Your <v Speaker 1>water is probably like all power. Yeah, he's definitely power man. Okay, <v Speaker 1>so that's all the characters. Sorry, my face is blocking <v Speaker 1>some of them, but you can see how many there is. <v Speaker 1>I mean, you haven't even unlocked all of them, ye <v Speaker 1>I know. Yeah, Change you unlocked Spike, Change Chump. I <v Speaker 1>unlock Change Jump last night. <v Speaker 2>I will say that I got kind of bored last <v Speaker 2>night playing this game after like two hours, and then <v Speaker 2>I and the stream and went to bed and I <v Speaker 2>played it more, and I was like, yeah, because it's <v Speaker 2>one of them things like you can play it in <v Speaker 2>bus exactly. You can't sit there playing tennis for eight <v Speaker 2>hours of the wild. No, I agree, but yeah, I <v Speaker 2>unlock Chain Jump last night. But yeah, you got one <v Speaker 2>two three for five six seven by one two three <v Speaker 2>four five six. So what what is that in math? <v Speaker 2>Like thirty six thirty six forty two? No, that's seven <v Speaker 2>times seven? Oh no, thirty six yeah nine? <v Speaker 1>Oh no not wait wait wait, stop down, We're gonna <v Speaker 1>look so dumb. It's forty two forty two characters. That's no, <v Speaker 1>seven times seven is forty two is forty nine forty nine? Yeah? <v Speaker 2>No way, yeah right, yeah, because eight times seven fifty six? <v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, yeah right, you have six times six is <v Speaker 2>thirty six? Yes, what's what's five times nine forty five. <v Speaker 2>That good, good job. Anythink times five is easy? A yes, <v Speaker 2>so true? <v Speaker 1>Twelve uh sixty, Oh he got that so quick? Which <v Speaker 1>this game should be sixty dollars. There we go. I see, <v Speaker 1>fifty is a good price. Fifty two is pretty decent. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>so what do we say forty two? <v Speaker 2>There's forty two characters, and then you mix in all <v Speaker 2>the rackets, which I'll have you guys do the math <v Speaker 2>for that in the second once we pick our characters here, <v Speaker 2>so we have one two let me pause, one, two, three, four, five, <v Speaker 2>six seven again by five souh sixty you have sixty rackets. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, no, nice, try and I try thirty five, thirty <v Speaker 1>thirty five. <v Speaker 2>You have thirty five rackets. And so the the top <v Speaker 2>ones that we haven't locked to begin with. There's a <v Speaker 2>flame one, so it puts flames down on the ground. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>obviously you walk in and then you get burnt. An <v Speaker 2>ice one puts an ice patch where you slip, and <v Speaker 2>the bull probably the bull has effects, and then the <v Speaker 2>characters have effects. The electric one stuns you, the gust <v Speaker 2>one we talked about, and then the mud man gotta <v Speaker 2>love the mud man. And then so as we went <v Speaker 2>so later on, Actually I got this really sick racket. <v Speaker 2>Let me see if I can find it. It was awesome. <v Speaker 2>It's the ghost racket or something, and it essentially duplicates <v Speaker 2>you and puts two of you on the field. Oh yeah, <v Speaker 2>I definitely one with that one. Okay, So here it is. <v Speaker 2>This is like the this is my favorite racket here <v Speaker 2>whenever I end up actually using the ability also screwed. <v Speaker 2>Here is using one that puts down these balls and <v Speaker 2>then depending where you put them, that creates a chain. <v Speaker 1>Lightning between them. Okay. <v Speaker 2>Also, the difficult thing is if they use their fever <v Speaker 2>shot and you manage to return it before it hits <v Speaker 2>the ground, if it lands on their side, it happens <v Speaker 2>on their side, so. <v Speaker 1>You can actually return. Okay, So I've done it. <v Speaker 2>Here, Now there's two of me, and it's mimicking my <v Speaker 2>movements kind of like in reverse. <v Speaker 1>I think I can't remember. <v Speaker 2>So now he's trying to beat two of me, which <v Speaker 2>is awesome because he literally he kept doing his fever <v Speaker 2>shot and I would return it because there's two of me, <v Speaker 2>and then it kept ending up on his side like <v Speaker 2>it just happened there, So his own abilities on his <v Speaker 2>side and I still have two of me on my side, <v Speaker 2>so that that racket is sick. I'm like this, this <v Speaker 2>is very cool. It's very random, so like it's random <v Speaker 2>chaos fun. So if you're looking for, like, you know, <v Speaker 2>technical gameplay, you're going to want to turn off the <v Speaker 2>fever rackets. You want going to do get regular rackets <v Speaker 2>and get really into the controls because I mean, you <v Speaker 2>have like top spin and then you can hit it <v Speaker 2>this way with. <v Speaker 1>A low angle. <v Speaker 2>And I tried going online at some point and I <v Speaker 2>got schooled, like a zero seven. <v Speaker 1>This guy was doing these wacky shots. It's competitive, like <v Speaker 1>the ceiling for its competition is high. That's what made <v Speaker 1>Mario tennis open, like and that's definitely still here. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>because I had wacky rackets on and I still couldn't <v Speaker 1>do anything. So yeah, so this mode is a lot <v Speaker 1>of fun. And then actually what I can do to <v Speaker 1>go through all of the modes here is I could <v Speaker 1>probably do this hopefully and not break everything. Everyone's coming back, <v Speaker 1>by the way, the main menu. Yeah, let's try that. Sorry, <v Speaker 1>I'm bringing up the game. <v Speaker 2>Okay, So you have tournament mode, which I haven't tried yet, <v Speaker 2>but I assume it speaks for itself. Yeah, right, trial towers. <v Speaker 2>I did do this. I went through Tower of Growth, <v Speaker 2>which was it was mostly like ten tennis games, but <v Speaker 2>there were like wacky elements here and there, Like there <v Speaker 2>was one where there was rings and you have to <v Speaker 2>try and hit the balls to the rings. <v Speaker 1>To get so like little mini games. Yeah, so that <v Speaker 1>was fun. <v Speaker 2>I haven't done the other two yet, mix it Up, <v Speaker 2>which has special matches and then score matches. The special <v Speaker 2>matches are whack key. Uh, there's the ring shot that <v Speaker 2>I talked about. There's a forest match where it looks <v Speaker 2>like product plants pop up pinball match. We tried one <v Speaker 2>of this. This was this was very confusing. When a <v Speaker 2>ball hit the thing, it either like bounced somewhere wacky <v Speaker 2>or disappeared and then shot out somewhere else. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. <v Speaker 2>And if you hit all of them, like uh, like <v Speaker 2>a like a jackpot type thing happens, and there was <v Speaker 2>bulls flying everything. Okay, true like pinball game, yeah kind of. <v Speaker 2>I haven't done the factory match. And then there's a <v Speaker 2>wonder Oh that is cool where you hit the flower <v Speaker 2>and then okay, so that is kind of like how <v Speaker 2>they and you can do four players for all of <v Speaker 2>those and then swing mode where you use the joy <v Speaker 2>CON's motion controls, just like we sports back in the day. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>free play obviously, and then you got your game share, <v Speaker 2>your local play, your rank match, and then. <v Speaker 1>Your online mode. Online is fun. <v Speaker 2>You can't go online as far as I know and <v Speaker 2>do doubles with someone on on your team online you <v Speaker 2>have to be in the same room. But I think <v Speaker 2>which is Nintendo just limiting their online I could be wrong. <v Speaker 2>And then ranked match, which, honestly, if you wanted to <v Speaker 2>rank up, if you wanted to see me lose horribly, <v Speaker 2>we could quickly get that out of the way, but <v Speaker 2>I don't have to. I did one match and it <v Speaker 2>needed me back down into the load. B oh. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>well I came against an A person as well, by <v Speaker 2>the way, and it said it was skill based matchmaking. <v Speaker 1>I was like, well that's a and I'm b and <v Speaker 1>I can count online playing yesterday because it wasn't not <v Speaker 1>in America. That's true. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's also crazy that I went online the day <v Speaker 2>before it came out, played one game and got owned <v Speaker 2>by someone who was incredible at the game. <v Speaker 1>How do you how does it even happen? It's probably <v Speaker 1>skills that translated over from a basis and then ultra SMA. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, you're probably right. So here's my here's my current <v Speaker 2>review after playing it for one night. Mind you, Adventure <v Speaker 2>Mode disappointed me because I was kind of hoping it <v Speaker 2>would be like ACE and it's a lot like Golf <v Speaker 2>Story or Golf Super Rush. It's a tutorial with some <v Speaker 2>wacky things, but just a lot of unnecessary walking around <v Speaker 2>and talking to people to do the next thing. <v Speaker 1>Doesn't it like tell you it's like forty you know, <v Speaker 1>tutorial sixty percent fun or something like that, something like that. <v Speaker 1>But the way it's delivered is just I wanted to <v Speaker 1>go on an adventure the same way you do an <v Speaker 1>I'll want to bring up aces in a second and <v Speaker 1>show you what that looked like. Then the actual game <v Speaker 1>with all the side modes. I think what you'll play <v Speaker 1>the most is the fever tennis game. And then there's <v Speaker 1>a bunch of different courses, and the courses have different <v Speaker 1>effects on them too, so there's a lot of stuff <v Speaker 1>that you can play around with. I see. So if <v Speaker 1>we do this, you. <v Speaker 2>Got like a well manicured turf with good bull speed <v Speaker 2>and bounce, or you can go down to a mushroom <v Speaker 2>turf where if you land on one of those white things, <v Speaker 2>or I think in general, I don't know, but the <v Speaker 2>court has really high bounce, so the ball kept going <v Speaker 2>really high, especially on powerful shots. So you can play <v Speaker 2>around with the characters, the courses and the rackets. You <v Speaker 2>get all these different Yeah, there's a lot. So I <v Speaker 2>do like that mode a lot. I just think this <v Speaker 2>should be fifty sixty dollars, yeah, full price, seventy, the <v Speaker 2>same price as something like Donkey Kong Bonanza. Yeah, doesn't <v Speaker 2>make sense to me. It's Mario, and Nintendo know they <v Speaker 2>can charge for that. But I actually think I do <v Speaker 2>think they can charge for it. But I don't know <v Speaker 2>if the Mario Tennis game is that big of a <v Speaker 2>hit that charging seventy won't price people out to the <v Speaker 2>point where they're like, oh, maybe if it goes on sale, <v Speaker 2>I don't need to play. <v Speaker 1>Tennis to buy it. Yesterday and then I saw the <v Speaker 1>price tag. Yeah, there's no way seventy dollars. Are you <v Speaker 1>gonna buy it? I don't know, I mean not right now. <v Speaker 2>Right, that's the thing, right, and two Nintendo fans here <v Speaker 2>and you're like seventy, I don't know, Yeah, but what <v Speaker 2>if it was fifty. <v Speaker 1>If it was fifty, I would have definitely possibly ran. <v Speaker 1>That's what I'm saying. It's just I know it's like <v Speaker 1>a twenty dollars price difference, but still, even Mario Tennis Asis, <v Speaker 1>I had my reservations when that was like six fifty nine. <v Speaker 1>It's kind of the principal to it. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, and in your head you are thinking, like, well, <v Speaker 2>there might be a Black Friday sale, and how bad <v Speaker 2>do I have to play tennis right now? <v Speaker 1>Like I have so many game that likes it. But Nintendo, <v Speaker 1>when fortune never do sales for their games, they well <v Speaker 1>they don't and they do. I mean they'll have Mario <v Speaker 1>sales with a ten dollars cheap of fifteen dollars cheaper. <v Speaker 1>Oh okay, sometimes you know. <v Speaker 2>They've been doing a little better about that. It's usually <v Speaker 2>on like holiday sales or Black Friday. <v Speaker 1>Yeah yeah, wait till then. Yeah. But if you. <v Speaker 2>Really really want to play tennis, I mean, it's here <v Speaker 2>for you. I guess I like it a lot. I <v Speaker 2>do like it a lot. I just think seventy is <v Speaker 2>too much, but for sure, that's Nintendo's variable pricing for you. <v Speaker 3>Now here's my question for you, is do you think <v Speaker 3>because we got like another tennis game on Switch, are <v Speaker 3>we going to get like another golf game, another soccer <v Speaker 3>Could we see baseball comeback? Because I really liked Mario <v Speaker 3>superstitl having that conversation last night, Yeah, I reminded me <v Speaker 3>of another thing I was going to say as well. <v Speaker 3>I do think we're going to get baseball because they've <v Speaker 3>been able to do it last time, and it feels <v Speaker 3>like something new and fresh they can do for the <v Speaker 3>Switch too, Yes, that people really do want. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, and baseball is like the one It's the one <v Speaker 2>that works like with most controls, the absolutely. Yes, I <v Speaker 2>think I think baseball and the soccer game are like <v Speaker 2>the ones. The soccer one was obviously a dud, but <v Speaker 2>the baseball one they just have recently that was like <v Speaker 2>a couple of years ago. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, Strikers, Yeah, but baseball because yeah, going back to <v Speaker 3>Mario's Mario Super Slugger is one of my favorite games <v Speaker 3>on the Wii, and just I don't know, I really <v Speaker 3>hope they do it properly. <v Speaker 1>That's the only thing. <v Speaker 2>I think it can be done pretty well, and I <v Speaker 2>do think it's coming up. And the other thing I <v Speaker 2>was going to say is with Mario Tennis Fever. Does <v Speaker 2>that look like a switch two game to you, like, <v Speaker 2>like it's fully utilizing everything to switch to kanoffer or <v Speaker 2>does it kind of just look like Mario Tennis aces <v Speaker 2>in in four K. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, I mean there's only so much you could do <v Speaker 3>with like I have to look at like I have to, like, <v Speaker 3>you know, look at it rather than just like seeing clips. <v Speaker 2>But you're looking at it. You're right that you yeah, <v Speaker 2>looking at it. So here's Mario Tennis aces. <v Speaker 1>It looks good, like so much you could do, But <v Speaker 1>this doesn't look much different from like Mario Tennis ace. <v Speaker 1>I'm saying, I feel like even Mario Tennis uh Ultra Ultra. <v Speaker 3>Smash Well, okay, I was gonna say Ultra Smash hads <v Speaker 3>Like you can see a noticeable difference just because of <v Speaker 3>the way the lighting. <v Speaker 1>I mean, but have you played Dian HD in four <v Speaker 1>K Snow Ultra Smash. Yeah? No, I don't want to. <v Speaker 1>I didn't like that game. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, this is the story mode for this game, and <v Speaker 2>I just like that it it feels like a Mario game, like, yeah, <v Speaker 2>you go on this little adventure, you can pace, you <v Speaker 2>can pick your pass. Yeah, and then you say, oh, <v Speaker 2>his I just found Purana plant Forest and. <v Speaker 1>This was really fun. Honestly, this story mode, they did <v Speaker 1>it right. <v Speaker 2>And it's only I mean, this gameplay vide is only <v Speaker 2>two hours and forty minutes. And maybe this person blasted <v Speaker 2>through and didn't do all of the paths. <v Speaker 1>I don't know. No, it was actually sure. The thing <v Speaker 1>is again, it's like, I don't I think the story <v Speaker 1>mode is just designed to teach you to play the game. <v Speaker 2>And I would, but I would rather two hours of <v Speaker 2>this than four hours of the other thing. Yeah, I <v Speaker 2>mean personally for me and my tastes, I guess, and <v Speaker 2>what I was looking for. <v Speaker 1>This just feels a little bit. It feels different. This <v Speaker 1>is more organized, and it's like more incentivized to keep <v Speaker 1>the platter going. <v Speaker 2>I just and I liked that every new level was like, <v Speaker 2>oh what are we doing now? <v Speaker 1>This is fun? Like what are we doing in this level? Like, oh, <v Speaker 1>we're hitting the ball into the mirror? Like okay, they <v Speaker 1>should have just given us a switch to Edition of Aces. <v Speaker 3>And that's what I first thought this was when they <v Speaker 3>announced it. I thought it was a switch to Edition <v Speaker 3>of Aces, but then they said, oh no, this is fever. <v Speaker 1>No. <v Speaker 2>I prefer getting a whole new game, like all the <v Speaker 2>rackets and everything is really that gives me home. I <v Speaker 2>only like, literally, I feel like the seventy dollars price <v Speaker 2>tag could have been justified if there was like a <v Speaker 2>five hour long story mode that was a bit more <v Speaker 2>robust and fleshed out and a little bit more unique <v Speaker 2>and different and felt like an adventure. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. <v Speaker 3>Like, it just felt uniquely different to the rest of <v Speaker 3>the game for sure, and that's like going back to it. <v Speaker 3>I think that gives me hope that we could see <v Speaker 3>a better version of Strikers, a way better version of <v Speaker 3>maybe Sup or Super Sluggers at some point. <v Speaker 1>So it's a good start. But seventy dollars, yeah. <v Speaker 2>I'm not realizing. The cut to me button literally cuts <v Speaker 2>to me. It comes to you like I thought it <v Speaker 2>just removed the screenshit. <v Speaker 1>No, it just cuts. <v Speaker 2>Literally just straight up a cut wipes everything and cuts <v Speaker 2>to me. It's a great button, of course, it's a <v Speaker 2>solid part of the power. It's a very nice button. Okay, <v Speaker 2>this episode now is over an hour, which is fine. <v Speaker 1>We lost like ten minutes of time. Though we did <v Speaker 1>lose a bit of time. I don't think it was <v Speaker 1>ten minutes, like five minutes. Well, I'm trying to hook <v Speaker 1>up the viewers for an extra five you know, true, <v Speaker 1>I got you. <v Speaker 2>I mean we still got to go through side quests <v Speaker 2>and we have your game, is what I'm saying. <v Speaker 1>Oh, that's right. <v Speaker 2>So I have a few things in the side quests <v Speaker 2>and we're going to keep it as quick as possible <v Speaker 2>because I want to go through the state of play. <v Speaker 2>But before that, we have one more rumor coming out <v Speaker 2>that I put in the side quest because it's so <v Speaker 2>rumored out of its mind it can't be true. But <v Speaker 2>the thing going around that, I mean even Argie he <v Speaker 2>said he heard something about it. New God of War <v Speaker 2>game might release on the tennor switch to and PlayStation. <v Speaker 1>Nah, that's not happening, but that would be so awesome <v Speaker 1>to see switch to on switch to got a war <v Speaker 1>fun I guess who this is from? Na, She's just <v Speaker 1>cooking of anything. <v Speaker 3>You know, what if you were a leaker, like and <v Speaker 3>you want to get your name out there, like by <v Speaker 3>all means, I feel like you put. <v Speaker 1>He's going to keep putting out like the most insane, <v Speaker 1>unhinged rumors and then eventually one of them is going <v Speaker 1>to stick, and then everybody's going to be like Nata. <v Speaker 2>So here is where things get just a little slightly <v Speaker 2>spice more interesting. Nate the Hate did seemingly corroborate that <v Speaker 2>he had heard Sony was considering making the title multi <v Speaker 2>platform in the past. Yeah, and Sean, my friend ALGT <v Speaker 2>in his video talking about this leak from Nash Wheedle <v Speaker 2>did say that he had also heard something about this, <v Speaker 2>and again he's pretty close and Ate the Hate it <v Speaker 2>does seem I'm like there's something behind the scenes that's <v Speaker 2>at least talked about God a War going multi platform <v Speaker 2>and the conversation of Switch to being in that conversation. <v Speaker 1>Will it happen? I don't know. It seems it seems. <v Speaker 2>More likely if anything, that God to War one would <v Speaker 2>come to Switch to Yeah, before we start talking about <v Speaker 2>the one that's not even out yet. Yeah, But I <v Speaker 2>did find this funny and interesting, so I wanted to <v Speaker 2>throw it in here quickly, I guess because we've been <v Speaker 2>playing it today. <v Speaker 1>Yes or no? What do you think I mean? I <v Speaker 1>would love to see I think maybe if there's like <v Speaker 1>speculation that Sony's working with Nintendo to do something like that, <v Speaker 1>I don't see why not. This would be a w <v Speaker 1>for they would definitely make money, for sure. I think possible. <v Speaker 1>I think I could see it, Honestly, I can. <v Speaker 2>See God of War one and maybe Ragnarok making its <v Speaker 2>way to the console. I mean, you have Final Fantasy, <v Speaker 2>you know, you have other games running that that. <v Speaker 1>I mean. <v Speaker 2>God War was a very nicely optimized game two from <v Speaker 2>what I recall, So getting it on the switch shouldn't <v Speaker 2>be that hard. The new one is what's throwing me. Well, <v Speaker 2>this this leak is talking about what's coming after Ratgrand, <v Speaker 2>It's talking about the next Like, why are we there already? <v Speaker 2>It just seems like such a big leap. Yeah, but yeah, anyway, <v Speaker 2>all right, so here's the state of play. I don't <v Speaker 2>know anything about it because it happened while I've been here. <v Speaker 2>You walked in and said that apparently it was a miss. <v Speaker 1>Well, I don't know. <v Speaker 3>Georad of it because I'm I only call her a <v Speaker 3>couple of glimps of it, except for this thing what <v Speaker 3>you're about to talk about. <v Speaker 2>Okay, So speaking of God of War, got a war <v Speaker 2>sons that's definitely not God War. Anybody audio listening might <v Speaker 2>be wondering what that was. It was an ad that <v Speaker 2>played before this video God of War, Sons of Sparta <v Speaker 2>side scrolling spinoff. Try saying that five times fast. Sons <v Speaker 2>of Sparta side scrolling spinoff? Who wants to take it? <v Speaker 1>Sons of Sparta side scrolling spin off, Sons of Sparta <v Speaker 1>side Yeah? <v Speaker 3>Out today? Wait already out. I didn't know about the spinoff. <v Speaker 3>I knew about the trilogy remake. Trilogy remake. Oh that's <v Speaker 3>oh this looks awful. Oh what the heck this is? <v Speaker 1>Wait? This is this has to be like an old <v Speaker 1>old game now, this is like it's a metro van. <v Speaker 1>I don't like the art style. Interesting is that? Like? Yeah? <v Speaker 3>Who is that? <v Speaker 1>Who is that skinny guy? Yeah? <v Speaker 2>I don't know, Son of Its Sons of Spota, Okay, <v Speaker 2>I don't. It's a prequel. Okay, it's a prequel game. <v Speaker 2>I don't. I don't like the art style, and I <v Speaker 2>also don't think the gameplay looks that great. I don't <v Speaker 2>know what the thoughts on that is. And I'm sorry <v Speaker 2>if I'm speaking out of turn. My opinion is actually <v Speaker 2>whatever your opinion is, and I think it looks how <v Speaker 2>you think it looks too. <v Speaker 1>Of course, honestly, I'm a sucker for these Metroidvania style games. This, <v Speaker 1>I'm interested always back again. Knock Knock, Thanks Charles Barkley. <v Speaker 1>This amershes it in the trilogy remake? Can I see it? Please? <v Speaker 1>Can I not? Can I not get this Capital One ad? Please? <v Speaker 1>Likely mature? They not likely? This is all it is <v Speaker 1>that I wait for an ad the logos, right, but <v Speaker 1>most of them all right, yeah, okay, b all right, <v Speaker 1>they're making the trilogy. <v Speaker 2>And then we got Castlevania. I'm not watching all of <v Speaker 2>these because they all have ads. Oh can the Scars <v Speaker 2>of a sequel to? <v Speaker 1>No? I don't think it was a sequel. <v Speaker 2>Wait wasn't what was the game with all the little <v Speaker 2>guys like the shadowy creatures? <v Speaker 1>Yeah, wasn't that Ken This? Yeah, so this is a sequel? <v Speaker 1>Oh my god, I can't. I can't. <v Speaker 2>With the Knock Knock, I'm gonna let that play up there? <v Speaker 2>Uh new John Wick game, Knock Knock Knock. <v Speaker 1>Damn. I wasn't gonna watch all of these, but I'm <v Speaker 1>actually I want to know. Okay, maybe I'm most taking <v Speaker 1>turn then? Is Kenna? Oh? <v Speaker 2>Yeah I think it is. I think it is that. Yeah, yep, okay, <v Speaker 2>I actually never finished that. I'm gonna have to go <v Speaker 2>back and finish that one, and then john Wick like <v Speaker 2>Hitman style gamer. Well, they made john Wick Hex, which <v Speaker 2>I don't think was very well received, which was like <v Speaker 2>a term based john Wick game. I would love a <v Speaker 2>game like Seafu but john Wick. That would be awesome. <v Speaker 2>Which kind of looks like that's what this is. But <v Speaker 2>this is just a cut scene. Okay, that's sick. Why <v Speaker 2>white people didn't like this? Stay to play meadow Gear <v Speaker 2>Solid Master Collection Volume two. Go to Yo Tai DLC. <v Speaker 2>You can hear that Resident Evil Requiem trailer. Oh wait, <v Speaker 2>once again, Leon's infected. Oh that's a spoiler. <v Speaker 1>Sarahs Marathon reaffirms March release day Troll Residence. Well, okay, <v Speaker 1>I'm excited for control. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, Double seven Revenue one. There's a lot here. Wait, <v Speaker 2>why why wasn't this good? Oh yeah, the the pod <v Speaker 2>Racer game. Now, this is pod racing. Now, this is <v Speaker 2>pod Racing. Do o C for destranding. Okay, we don't <v Speaker 2>got POCN characters too. This honestly looks I mean, after <v Speaker 2>the after the partner direct we got, this is pretty fire. Honestly. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>all right, well we don't have to go into all <v Speaker 2>of it. I think we hit the big things. But <v Speaker 2>that a lot of this looks really interesting. It could <v Speaker 2>be an octopus. I want to watch more trailers, but <v Speaker 2>I don't want to hear knock knocks, So knock knock. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, sponsor. I want to keep plugging along because I <v Speaker 1>got a pee like a race horse over here. Nice. <v Speaker 1>Oh oh, well, there you go, no Nintendo game time. <v Speaker 1>That was my bad. I should have done I should <v Speaker 1>have done this, I guess. Then here we go. Nice, <v Speaker 1>all right, Sally, all right, so this week we got <v Speaker 1>for you a blind ranking. Yeah, and we got some <v Speaker 1>companions for you to rank from different games. <v Speaker 2>Okay, So by blind ranking you mean do I have ten? <v Speaker 1>You have ten? Yes? <v Speaker 2>So I have a ten list of top ten and <v Speaker 2>you're gonna give me them one at a time, and <v Speaker 2>I got to rank them, and I don't get I <v Speaker 2>don't get hold of them. <v Speaker 1>I get them one at a time, one at a time. <v Speaker 1>I love. This is exactly the companions and games. Oh <v Speaker 1>heck yeah, I like this all right. So, in the <v Speaker 1>spirit of Minush Cop, we're starting out with the first one, <v Speaker 1>the cap and minish cap. Wait, hold up, come on, Photoshop, <v Speaker 1>don't crush an. <v Speaker 2>This is going to be a top. I've only played <v Speaker 2>this game once and it was a very long time ago. <v Speaker 2>I can't really remember his involvement beyond like a navvy <v Speaker 2>type guy. <v Speaker 1>He's more than just an in he shrinks. He's the <v Speaker 1>reason exactly. He's the reason you shrink, and he acts <v Speaker 1>as a parachute and he guides you. He's very quirky. <v Speaker 2>I mean, he's a companion in the same way that <v Speaker 2>like Kazui is a companion. He's like kind of part <v Speaker 2>of you exactly. So he's not annoying in any way <v Speaker 2>because it's just part of your game play mechanics, exactly. <v Speaker 2>I think, as we're just starting here, we're going to <v Speaker 2>go five because I don't have I think five is <v Speaker 2>actually good. Like he's not like a companion in the <v Speaker 2>way that like I'm excited when I think about him. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, but he's not annoying exactly, you know. Okay, that's <v Speaker 1>good five, all right. Next up we have clap Trap. <v Speaker 2>From We're gonna go eight because I'm going to save <v Speaker 2>some room for worse ones. <v Speaker 1>Ok He's just very loud and very annoying, and the <v Speaker 1>jack outlives everybody. He never dies. <v Speaker 2>He literally his name is Claptrap because he doesn't shut <v Speaker 2>up his stupid clap trap. <v Speaker 1>You know, that's his whole thing. He is. <v Speaker 2>He was funny the first time, and then it's like <v Speaker 2>I was gonna say, it's like Minions, but honestly, Minions <v Speaker 2>are still funny. Minions still movie coming out this year. <v Speaker 2>I know, I like Minions. It's funny the first time, <v Speaker 2>it's not funny anymore. Okay, Next up we have Luma. <v Speaker 1>Luma kind of what does Luma? Dude, just kind of <v Speaker 1>is that which we talk we're talking about from Galaxy <v Speaker 1>and one and two, the one that's in No, no no, <v Speaker 1>the one that enables you to spin. That's the one <v Speaker 1>essentially the pointer. It's the pointer, but it also enables <v Speaker 1>Mario to spin. And you know it's not super talkative. <v Speaker 2>One that like this is also like yeah, it's also <v Speaker 2>barely a companion. It's more exactly a mechanic. I'll go six. <v Speaker 2>I'll put it right below the minish cap. When you said, <v Speaker 2>I don't know what you got left here, but I <v Speaker 2>was thinking. <v Speaker 1>Like like Ellie from Last of Us, Oh no, see, <v Speaker 1>those are characters that like you play with right, the companion, <v Speaker 1>but you play I play as Yeah. Yeah, so I <v Speaker 1>wanted to originally do something like that, but then I <v Speaker 1>was like, if you're playing as that person, does that <v Speaker 1>really count as Like, well, you play as Ellie in <v Speaker 1>the second more of a side kick. <v Speaker 2>He plays Ali Ellie in the second one, and the <v Speaker 2>first one you don't. She's just there. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I guess you played with her in a Michige <v Speaker 1>at one point in a chapter. I guess that's true. <v Speaker 1>Next we have Navvi. Okay, well that's the ten, that's <v Speaker 1>the tests where we throw that. That's not that I <v Speaker 1>like Navvy. I hate being around Navvy. Yes, Navy is <v Speaker 1>loud and annoying. We know this. Navvy is the go to. <v Speaker 1>Like is is this is the companion as annoying as Navy? Yes? <v Speaker 1>Or no? <v Speaker 2>Like when does it rank on a Navy? It's the barometer? Yeah, no, <v Speaker 2>I agree with you. <v Speaker 1>When I was when I played through too recently, I <v Speaker 1>was like, bro, I hate it's this character. <v Speaker 2>First time I played the game, it didn't bother me <v Speaker 2>that much. It's when you play a second time or <v Speaker 2>they're on out, when you know what to do and <v Speaker 2>you don't need to look at everything. <v Speaker 1>You don't need to just look at this, do this, <v Speaker 1>try this. It's like, no, I don't need to Yeah, yeah, <v Speaker 1>Cappy from Mario Bro from Mario Odyssey this, I really <v Speaker 1>feel like we're bouncing between companions and then just call <v Speaker 1>gameplay mechanics. Well yeah, I mean that's what that campaign is. <v Speaker 2>Well, as soon as you get that companion, it ceases <v Speaker 2>to be like sentient. It's it's really just your hat <v Speaker 2>with eyes. I mean, technically, that's one way of looking <v Speaker 2>at it. But at the same time, they do guide <v Speaker 2>you throughout the game. They're like there to give you <v Speaker 2>tips and tricks, like they're they're essentially the core reason, <v Speaker 2>uh you can beat the game. And also they're they're <v Speaker 2>not like separate from the core gameplay. <v Speaker 1>So right, I guess. <v Speaker 2>I'm having a hot time with it because it's like <v Speaker 2>it's not it's not it doesn't register to me. I <v Speaker 2>don't think of it as like a character. <v Speaker 1>I think, yeah, that's the point, because I was going <v Speaker 1>to do sidekicks originally. I'm going to save that for another. <v Speaker 2>One another time. Yeah, yeah, clap Trap is a sidekick. <v Speaker 2>He technically is, but then don't use him like these <v Speaker 2>other ones. Well yeah, that's the point. You don't use <v Speaker 2>it like, you know, unless you're playing like I'm so confused. <v Speaker 2>Okay with the hat. Yeah, we're gonna do it too, <v Speaker 2>because it doesn't upset me. And it's a cool gameplay <v Speaker 2>mechanic and a really fun game that has that uses <v Speaker 2>the hat exclusively for like all the everything. <v Speaker 1>Okay, it's the. <v Speaker 3>Last time Cappy like appeared in something like a Mario spinoff. <v Speaker 3>I feel like it's they've already. I feel like Wonder <v Speaker 3>is like the game that they now build off because <v Speaker 3>there's the talking flower there. <v Speaker 1>Well, it's it's like Wonder. <v Speaker 2>Every Mario game has a different gameplay mechanic and it's cool, right, <v Speaker 2>Like like like Sunshine was the jet pack. <v Speaker 1>So it's like asking, when's the last time you've seen the. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it just flood. It lives in that game Flood, <v Speaker 2>thank you. It lives in that game. <v Speaker 1>Next up, we have Piemond from Kenshin Impact. <v Speaker 2>Okay, I don't I've played gnshin like ten hours. <v Speaker 1>I don't even remember this thing. What is what is it? <v Speaker 1>She's literally just like, uh, just your just your navigator <v Speaker 1>in the game. No, I don't remember her at all. <v Speaker 1>She's like she's like the fairy guy who speaks to you. <v Speaker 1>I'll do seven. Yeah, there's nothing really significant about her. <v Speaker 1>I don't really have have strong opinions. I don't like <v Speaker 1>engine impact. Honestly, I figured you probably wouldn't. I tried. <v Speaker 1>I've tried a couple of times to get into it. <v Speaker 2>I don't when it was coming to it was supposed <v Speaker 2>to come to switch, and I was waiting for it <v Speaker 2>to come to switch. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, it never did. They revealed it as a switch game, <v Speaker 1>and then it never came to switch. <v Speaker 3>Uh. <v Speaker 1>Next up, I mentioned that one. <v Speaker 2>That's the same as Minish cap, So we're gonna have <v Speaker 2>to go four. It's like, it's not it's a companion <v Speaker 2>in the sense that it's cannon canon sentient. <v Speaker 1>Yes, but it's a it's just part of your character. <v Speaker 1>It's it's it's a game plan mechanic exactly. So you <v Speaker 1>said four. Yeah, okay, all right. Next up we have Kurtana. See, <v Speaker 1>and now you've gone back to an actual sidekick. Yeah. <v Speaker 2>That has nothing to do with gameplay mechanics. This is <v Speaker 2>it makes it hard to break them. <v Speaker 1>I think you're doing really good so far. I agree. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>this is looking good, Kurtana. <v Speaker 2>It's this is tricky because now I I'm trying to <v Speaker 2>place it high alongside things I've placed for gameplay mechanics. <v Speaker 1>Coltana is awesome. I mean, she's like the companion. She's <v Speaker 1>not annoying. <v Speaker 2>She's baked into the story so heavily you care about her, <v Speaker 2>you grow attached to her. <v Speaker 1>Definitely one of gaming's most iconic companions. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean the only reason why I wouldn't put <v Speaker 2>it one is because she doesn't actually physically have presence <v Speaker 2>in the way as like Ellie does. At going back <v Speaker 2>to Ellie again, if Ellie was on this, like, she'd <v Speaker 2>be number one, for example, because like the way that <v Speaker 2>Ellie moves around the world, and she'll like grab a <v Speaker 2>brick and throw it at a guy to distract him <v Speaker 2>for you, and it's all like AI, yeah, like it's sick. <v Speaker 1>So I'm gonna put her at three, okay, because she's <v Speaker 1>missing that interactive element. But she's a great companion. No, <v Speaker 1>that's good. You can't go anywhere without it, all right, <v Speaker 1>So the last two so here, I'm going to give <v Speaker 1>you the number nine. <v Speaker 2>I literally have a bad one and a good one. Okay, Okay, <v Speaker 2>this is another companion. Yeah, this is one. This is <v Speaker 2>one for you? <v Speaker 1>Yeah? Sure really? <v Speaker 2>No, Yeah, So I don't know what's coming. He's not nine. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>I really like him. I love that he that every <v Speaker 2>time there's a down moment in god a War, like <v Speaker 2>you have to play that game for us good before <v Speaker 2>he runs out of stories. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, he's like, anytime there's a down. <v Speaker 2>Moment or you're just rowing somewhere, you're trying to get somewhere, <v Speaker 2>he'll pick up a story with Krados and it's like, <v Speaker 2>if you actually listen to the narratives and the stories, <v Speaker 2>they are actually getting to know each other and like <v Speaker 2>having little therapy sessions and there's actual law and character <v Speaker 2>development baked into something that. <v Speaker 1>I just skip. Yeah, he's rarely annoying. There's definitely like <v Speaker 1>non annoyance, like narrative emerging, you know, there's funny, he's <v Speaker 1>fun Yeah, humor, exact voice acting, wisdom, and I love <v Speaker 1>that he's just like ahead on your belt. Yeah, literally <v Speaker 1>he has that physical chops him off just at his belt. Yeah. No, <v Speaker 1>he was great. The last one was Midna from Twilight Princess. Okay, <v Speaker 1>I don't have strong opinions on that one, to be honest. Okay, <v Speaker 1>well then I guess it worked out perfectly. Yeah. <v Speaker 2>I mean it's obviously not a nine. Let's yeah, definitely <v Speaker 2>not a nine. But like Midna, I mean, Minha's like <v Speaker 2>a like a not annoying navvy. <v Speaker 1>No, apparently no, and she has like a full character <v Speaker 1>or transformation to She's not the reason you turn into <v Speaker 1>a wolf? Is she is? She is? I think so <v Speaker 1>because I've never played Twilight Princess. That's the only it <v Speaker 1>might be part of it. Actually, she would be higher <v Speaker 1>than nine. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, but I got nowhere else to put her, so <v Speaker 2>I would probably put her. See, I don't know, because <v Speaker 2>then it's like, do I put it above the ones <v Speaker 2>that actually are useful as gameplay? <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I would say, because Midna technically is like a <v Speaker 1>vital role, I might have put a four. Yeah, if <v Speaker 1>I could exactly and shove everything else down, yeah, just <v Speaker 1>down one. Yeah that's good. Yeah, I'm good with that. <v Speaker 1>But your list looks great, thank you. I'm not gonna lie. <v Speaker 1>That looks really good. Do you agree with it? Mid <v Speaker 1>now recently obviously other than Midnight, I would agree Navi <v Speaker 1>be ten for sure. I would definitely keep Kazoo we <v Speaker 1>at four, Kurtana three copy two copies, like all the <v Speaker 1>copy transformations you got. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I was also I just kept thinking about bouncing <v Speaker 2>on his head when you Yeah, he was very useful. <v Speaker 1>Lulma definitely deserves to be down a little bit more. <v Speaker 1>They're kind of I had no strong opinions. That's why <v Speaker 1>I put it mid. Yeah, just like it just is there, <v Speaker 1>you know. Yeah, but no, I mean like down. You <v Speaker 1>couldn't go below clap Trap. Yeah exactly, so it's fine. Well, <v Speaker 1>that's why it's a blind ranking. You know. You don't <v Speaker 1>want to give that number one spot away too soon. <v Speaker 1>I like it, Thank you, appreciate it. Yeah, good game. <v Speaker 1>She is plot relevant, also said June one in chat. <v Speaker 1>That's true. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, no, again, she would definitely be I think blow <v Speaker 2>or maybe even above Klatana. <v Speaker 1>You see it. I could see that. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, okay, cool, all right then I think we've done <v Speaker 2>everything for today. We've done it all. We even we <v Speaker 2>did we came back. Oh, we have our super chats, <v Speaker 2>I think, all right, yeah super chat. <v Speaker 1>Me yes, yes, all right, so we got our first <v Speaker 1>super chat from Veggie might fine. Ten dollars. Am I going <v Speaker 1>to predict variants? Am i' going to predict special editions? Yep, <v Speaker 1>I'm not even kidding. I can show you that I'm <v Speaker 1>not kidding. Hold on, you keep going, all right? Next <v Speaker 1>up we have prof Rock pr with the two dollars. <v Speaker 1>He says, well, who nontend to day? Let's go, thank <v Speaker 1>you prof Rock every single stream? Do you want me <v Speaker 1>to read the I'll get the members. Okay, we obsessive <v Speaker 1>with the five dollars. State of play was around an <v Speaker 1>hour ago. It was pretty good, but First Party Sony <v Speaker 1>seems to really be struggling most people. Most of the <v Speaker 1>hype stuff was third party. There you go, that's all nice. <v Speaker 1>You changed me? Yeah, you changed right, I changed. This <v Speaker 1>is the old thumbnail. Okay, it was me from last week, <v Speaker 1>but that's the that's the thumbnail for today. Nice. Just <v Speaker 1>the me is different. And then we got five dollars <v Speaker 1>from Eza smash shout out to my boy Sully Love <v Speaker 1>two podcasts by the way, he says, love the podcast, <v Speaker 1>by the way, would. <v Speaker 2>Thank you appreciate it? Okay, So then Sully wait, Sully points, <v Speaker 2>yeah's you became a member today? <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I had to you know that that end logo <v Speaker 1>looks sick. And then then Nathan became a member as well. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>thank you night. Well he didn't become a member or <v Speaker 1>oh well, I mean I wanted him to do it first. <v Speaker 2>So if you're a YouTube member, what you have to <v Speaker 2>do is go to the YouTube page and then the <v Speaker 2>member page, and shortly after we end stream, I'm going <v Speaker 2>to share a link to the bonus stream there where <v Speaker 2>we're going to talk about though especially and a bunch <v Speaker 2>of other Patreon bonus questions and fun goofs and gaffs <v Speaker 2>to have over there. And then Patreons, you know the deal. <v Speaker 2>It's the same as all ways. You'll get notified and <v Speaker 2>get emails and everything. So all right, that's it, Thank <v Speaker 2>you all. I believe the stickers are <v Speaker 2>supposed to arrive tomorrow and then we can put those <v Speaker 2>with the socks and start sending those out for patreons <v Speaker 2>for last week, that last month, I mean this month, <v Speaker 2>we're still in. But yeah, it's coming, and thank you <v Speaker 2>all so much for watching. If you enjoyed the episode, <v Speaker 2>like comment and subscribe. If you're listening to Apple or whatever, <v Speaker 2>make sure to rate it five stars and keep juicing <v Speaker 2>those numbers. <v Speaker 1>If we ever hit one, we'll do a three hour <v Speaker 1>you gotta get it, guys. It in. <v Speaker 2>I don't want to say it because like I don't <v Speaker 2>want it's not happening anytime soon, but I did at all. <v Speaker 2>I'm just gonna say that so that people don't get <v Speaker 2>their hopes up. But I was thinking a lot of <v Speaker 2>the show that we compete with in the Apple charts, <v Speaker 2>they have multiple shows a week, so where like our <v Speaker 2>one episode is like almost top ten some weeks against <v Speaker 2>like kind of Funnies five. <v Speaker 1>If you're doing it three times a week, you'd guaranteed <v Speaker 1>be a well, okay, settle down. What if we did <v Speaker 1>two a week? <v Speaker 2>What if it was like a month shown a Monday <v Speaker 2>nontendo and a Thursday. <v Speaker 1>What are we thinking and we've got two episodes a week? <v Speaker 1>That would be nice? We need to double the Patreons. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>but it would be I'd love to do it. It would <v Speaker 1>be really cool. Yeah, but let's figure this out. Let's <v Speaker 1>figure this out. <v Speaker 2>It's a PC not crashing first before we add more <v Speaker 2>streams to the schedule. <v Speaker 1>Guys, I love you all so much. Thank you for <v Speaker 1>being here. <v Speaker 2>I can't wait to see you next week with apparently <v Speaker 2>a direct Pokemon and maybe some more fleshed out thoughts <v Speaker 2>on Mario Tennis fever who knows. <v Speaker 1>Thank you guys for being with me today. <v Speaker 2>I had a lot of thanks for having us on <v Speaker 2>man and now that's roll into our bonus episode and <v Speaker 2>have fun with the Patreons and the members. I think <v Speaker 2>I said everything, so bye.
