George Kittle On Future Of 49ers, $76 MILLION Contract + Christian McCaffrey's Dominance | Bussin’

Bussin' With The Boys

Recorded: June 17, 2025

Will Compton and Taylor Lewan have San Francisco 49ers star and The King of Tight End University George Kittle on this episode of Bussin’ With The Boys! The guys kick things off with a lively intro this week, with Will Compton stirring the pot and creating drama between Bussin' Producer Jack and Taylor Lewan. Taylor then defends his claim of being an elite athlete (which AI has confirmed is accurate), ending with a healthy debate over normalizing bad first pitches.

The Boys jump into George Kittle's interview full steam. George talks candidly about his NFL career earnings, how he takes care of his body midseason, and responds to Taylor’s wild claims about Brock Purdy from two years ago. He also discusses his desire to continue playing at a high level, his love for video games, and all things Niners, including how Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey are ready for a comeback season.

The guys laugh about George’s new touchdown celebration ideas, debate whether Kyle Juszczyk is Hall of Fame-worthy, and dish on Deebo Samuel possibly being overweight. They even touch on a surreal moment of hanging with Justin Trudeau while his countrymen chirped him at the 4 Nations Hockey Tournament. Things wind down with more Tight End U talk, the future of the event, and George’s excitement to hang with the boys this week.

And as always, big hugs… and tiny lil kisses!

00:03:36
Speaker 5: Giving out some award.

00:03:37
Speaker 1: Just having some good, old, clean, fun, good vibes. That is what it is all about. Then after that chunk of the week, yours truly, we're headed off to Las Vegas, Nevada. We're going back to war tunnel of chaos. So Jack McPherson is out of town. He is in Greece. That's why our boy Mattie over here with his middle Park Sean from Boy Meets World is sitting there and not Jack McPherson is because he is in Greece celebrating one of his friends going on Holy Matrimony. I am taking Jared Beamon with me demon to International Fight Week and I cannot wait to spend seventy two hours with this kid alone.

00:04:12
Speaker 5: Can I make a prediction? Can I make a prediction just to possibly cause some internal Chaos'd.

00:04:23
Speaker 1: Rather you didn't, but yeah, let's keep some vibes up right.

00:04:27
Speaker 5: The vibes are up. I think the vibes are so high that my prediction because I was feeling out. I was feeling out Demon. I'm like, hey, buddy, are you ready for You're ready for Vegas this weekend? And he's so stoked and I'm inspired up. You're going to have the time of your life. He says, he's been watching videos inside the Red Rock. He's obviously seen all the UFC stuff like when we are ringside, but he's going to have an incredible weekend. My prediction is that Demon's going to have so much fun. He's going to be on it so much, and You're going to enjoy Demon so much that I think he he seats Jack.

00:05:01
Speaker 1: Oh oh wow. Oh yeah, sorry, I I know we're all tight. Hold on, don't say sorry for nothing. As I'm going to bed last night, I thought this Demon cat might crush it so much that that that thought crossed my mind already. That dot crossed my mind already, Like I was saying to myself, I was I was saying with myself, your roll dog, he's my road dog. I love Jack and Jack and Taylor in Vegas like that is one of the best vibes. Jack and Tate do Vegas. Yeah, that's our that's my guy. But I was thinking, because I've seen some of the stuff that Jared's done that has not been even talked about, that he's doing for Bust with the Boys, it's its own little passion project. And I'm thinking, if he puts an ounce of effort, of that type of effort into this.

00:05:48
Speaker 5: Vlog and it's not even if it's when, because.

00:05:51
Speaker 2: He's a dude.

00:05:52
Speaker 1: He's a dog looking for a bone. Yeah, and you just give him that bone, pat him on the ass couple of times, he'll lay on his back and he'll love you for the rest of your career. Man. Career man.

00:06:01
Speaker 5: He's a career man.

00:06:01
Speaker 1: He's a grinder.

00:06:03
Speaker 5: He takes advantage of opportunities, and he creates his own opera.

00:06:06
Speaker 1: I did tell him when we were going to do this episode, this intro right now, I was like, Hey, just make sure you you know that there's gonna be a lot of stuff happening, like in real time, so you're gonna have to also pictures, videos, post like you're gonna have to do all of those things like Jack would do during the thing. And you could tell that put a little he would he didn't think about that part yet.

00:06:24
Speaker 5: Yeah, center process.

00:06:26
Speaker 1: I'll probably sentimatic post it right right, He'll probably just shoot it around. Yeah, and they try to talk to me as I'd love to, but I'm about to go do the episode of Bust with Yeah, and so he's probably just over there in a little blender right now. He's over there to handle it. But yeah, it crossed my mind.

00:06:39
Speaker 5: That's my prediction.

00:06:40
Speaker 6: What about what about the horse you rode in on, old Jackie Man?

00:06:44
Speaker 1: What are the thoughts there?

00:06:45
Speaker 6: Would it be a Jay Rod would then join y'all's duo, Demon would join the duo.

00:06:51
Speaker 1: See the thing about that, there's overhead, right, there's a lot of things that come into when you're doing doing a business. And then there's extra flights. I'm in hotels don't cost anything. There's actually rooms to bug well not invY that's free. Oh so really it's just the flight. So maybe so maybe, But then you're also leaving out sweet JP, who is our vlog guy. Yes, honestly, the biggest UFC fan, the biggest UFC fan there.

00:07:18
Speaker 7: It is International Fight Week and as a fight fan, you love International Fight Week. And when you brought me into the room to ask me about, Hey, do you want to come on this trip. I'm thinking it's fight week. That would be awesome. I haven't been to Vegas in a while. And in the corner Jared is standing there and I know, and the same conversation we're having. We know Jared will crush it. We know he'll loved the experience, and I'm looking at Taylor, But the whole time, I just cannot stop seeing Jared in my peripheral. I'm like, I think I need I think I need to let Jared go to this one.

00:07:49
Speaker 1: Yeah, for the experience. My thought of bringing you in the room with that was you just got back from a wedding. Yeah, long time, like you're getting there's nothing harder than having an incredible vacation and then going back to work. And it's like, we kind of got to figure this whole thing out. I know you're not a huge fan of shooting the gambling stuff. It's really like, uh, it's not for everybody. Yeah, Jack Jack loves it. Just Jared love it.

00:08:10
Speaker 7: The actual act gets boring for me.

00:08:12
Speaker 1: Yeah, when you're sitting there, I'm sure the viewer loves it. But if you have no skin in the game and you have a camera and you're like, all right, well, hopefully he wins so he can go to bed, Like that's kind of that can't be fun.

00:08:21
Speaker 5: So he's down and you're like, oh shit, he's down, but you're more something.

00:08:25
Speaker 1: Like a yeah, I told Jared too, there's be long nights. But that was kind of the reasonhy I was like, hey, JP, if you want to, if you want to bow out at this, you're more than welcome to. Because I knew if it was just a hey, we're popping Saturday, leave Sunday, I'm in there, you're in that thing.

00:08:39
Speaker 5: If we if we could go around back of the bus, Matt included what would be the odds you place on Jack remaining the road dog.

00:08:53
Speaker 1: For he's out for he's he's lacking a little bit of sleep. Let me just see this world a little bit.

00:09:00
Speaker 5: I thought Taylor would probably just fight and stand on the table a little bit more for Jacket.

00:09:04
Speaker 1: I'm sure he does. He's just talking about the optimism of that is Jared demon ultimate optimist.

00:09:09
Speaker 5: But just to you know, create a little bit more chaos.

00:09:11
Speaker 7: I'll say this, I think Jack is more built for the long nights over a period of time than Jared. Jared will crush it. But I don't know if Jared can go three am, four am one night, three am four am the next night. So I'm still I think I'm gonna lean Jack in my He's the favorite in my body.

00:09:29
Speaker 1: So you got Jack?

00:09:32
Speaker 7: Yeah, probably like more like a minus like one.

00:09:36
Speaker 5: Oh okay, all right, close little head to head, right, Yeah, Jack's the boss.

00:09:43
Speaker 8: He's just I mean, he's a killer, though he seems like an all night guy. Love Jared. He hired me, right, love Jared. But I'm gonna go Jack minus two fifty.

00:09:52
Speaker 1: Pretty easy through around that hired word pretty fast, isn't he.

00:09:55
Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, well he did get hired as the Oh well he had to go through a hiring process.

00:10:01
Speaker 8: True, yeah, not fully hired fifty you'd say, yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:10:07
Speaker 5: Yeah, you got that.

00:10:12
Speaker 9: I think Demon's gonna love this trip so much so that maybe by the end of it, when you guys land back in uh Nashville on Sunday, he's gonna be like, hey, Taylor, we had a good time, right, Like, I would love to go again if you want me to, like, I would like And I know Jack sometimes he's tired and stuff. On coming back from those Vegas trips, but like I think he might. He might. Jack might even be willing to pass the torch for a couple of weekends, but then you know he's gonna get that itch like I need to get back there.

00:10:41
Speaker 1: See that last thing you said, I don't think. I think there's a possibility that Jack loves Vegas just as much as I do. I think he's about it. And Jack is one of those pack and play kind of people where you can just you leave alone for fifteen minutes, He'll he'll catch up on sleep. He's he has the ability to take these micro naps plane sitting in the back of a car for a five minute drive like he has that ability to recharge and an instant I don't know if Jared has that capability, but if we're gonna have these late nights, hopefully we don't, but most likely we have these late nights. There's two things that gonna happen. Jared's gonna come back super excited, like you said, or he's gonna be limping limping on his way back to you.

00:11:19
Speaker 9: Demons the energy drink king true.

00:11:22
Speaker 1: But them things can only help you for so long.

00:11:24
Speaker 5: Demon strikes me as the type is. He won't let long nights affect him the next day if he's working correct.

00:11:32
Speaker 1: Yeah, he's a quer man. Yeah, he's a career man. While we're on the UFC talk, I know people are probably loving the fact that there's an eternal struggle going on. Let's talk about this fight. Yeah, because this Uh to Pourier Oliver fight is gonna be juicy. Yeah. Oliver era most submissions in UFC history. Well, obviously his last fight was against our boy, Senor Chandler and he put on a He did really well till that last round. Yeah to Pier. Though, this guy's talking about he wants three belts. He wants to be looked at as the goat now. John Jones is now retired. He's a goat of all goats in the UFC world. But he's looking here's a little vacancy there. He said, let me make this legacy so I can get it going. Where are we sitting? Because I got myself a text, Actually I got myself a text from our guy, zaid on Saturday at like two pm. He said, put it in now, massive bet to Pourier knockout. You know, I like me a little risk. You like that risk a little bit more if there was about eight more legs that I did.

00:12:38
Speaker 5: I did, I did win the last my last parlay you did.

00:12:41
Speaker 1: Yeah, you're kind of on fire right now. Huh. You can't call it a streak until you get what at least three to the streak.

00:12:49
Speaker 5: I'll get to a street. People won't consider it a streak until it goes three. But we're chasing. You're chasing back to back, back to back parlay wins this week.

00:12:56
Speaker 1: Okay, all right, JP, where you sitting.

00:13:00
Speaker 7: And it's so I'm sitting with Oliver Era. I'm thinking this is the year of the of the Legends, because we got so many people retiring this year. I think Dustin Pourier will win his last fight. I think if wonder Boy, if this is his last fight, he'll win it in Nashville. And I think it all starts with olll of Era this weekend. I think he puts puts the the young guy down, let him know, like, hey, one forty five is your place, but to Poria is dangerous. Not like I'll be surprised if he won, but I'm gonna go Olivera just because he's just he's a day one.

00:13:31
Speaker 1: He's been in it for a while. Yeah, because he put the gloves down, or does he defend it once he wins it.

00:13:36
Speaker 7: Oh, if he wins, he's staying. Well.

00:13:38
Speaker 1: If he loses, you say he puts the clubs down.

00:13:39
Speaker 7: Then no, he'll probably still go just because his fighting style is a lot less violent than the others.

00:13:44
Speaker 1: Yeah, he's all about that, Grod and Pa. Yeah all right, Willie, what do you say?

00:13:51
Speaker 5: Listen? I love the message from Zaid. I have to check in with our boy, our teammate, Clay Matthews.

00:13:56
Speaker 1: I know he's big in the UFC.

00:13:58
Speaker 5: So I have to get some get some context for some of these fights before I put the parlay together.

00:14:02
Speaker 1: But I will be cooking.

00:14:04
Speaker 7: You should get Clay there. If you have extra ticket.

00:14:06
Speaker 2: You have an extra ticket.

00:14:07
Speaker 7: Taylor Lauwan, Clay Matthews, Jared Demon, Taylor Tickniny. That front row will never be the same.

00:14:15
Speaker 5: Never never be the same.

00:14:17
Speaker 2: A game Demon, Oh.

00:14:20
Speaker 5: A good demon on the cam.

00:14:22
Speaker 1: Holy OLIVERA right now straight up is plus three forty on FANDUL sportsbook, plus three forty. Yeah, the poorier is minus five hundred.

00:14:33
Speaker 5: But it's the fight game. It's the fight game.

00:14:35
Speaker 1: It's a fight game. Puncher chance, punchers chance, jurm betch you guys got predictions on this thing? No, no, don't give a ship.

00:14:43
Speaker 2: I'm not gonna watch it.

00:14:45
Speaker 1: Okay. You like Oliver? All right? All right? Plus three forty for sure loves it. Also the big fight going on. Jake Paul, who there's rumors he might be coming on the bus someday. Fuddy Julio se Chavez Junior. Our thoughts on that, No.

00:15:03
Speaker 5: Clue, Okay, Jake Paul, I love the chaos.

00:15:06
Speaker 1: Love the chaos. There is not a family that does a better job of stirring the pot and having dollars come out. There's I don't think there's a better duo in this world at this moment that can stir the pot the way they do and just have like an ATM machine rip out for the Paul brothers.

00:15:23
Speaker 5: I did see that Jake Paul is no longer doing his podcast Impulsive. Yeah, what happened with Jake Paul? That's Logan Paul, Logan Paul's and paulse Impulsive.

00:15:32
Speaker 1: Got you?

00:15:33
Speaker 5: Jake Paul is bs with Jake Paul.

00:15:37
Speaker 1: And he's not doing it anymore.

00:15:38
Speaker 5: Yeah, he'stepping down from the podcast.

00:15:39
Speaker 1: What's going on? Just saw bustling with the boys, rins up the ranks. I just can't compete.

00:15:44
Speaker 5: Yeah, he's just got too much going on. Says he's not like you know, he's just not into the whole interviewing style of everything, and with everything he's got going on business wise and probably chasing a championship in boxing, chasing a championship priority wise. The podcast game is is falling off its fall.

00:15:59
Speaker 1: It's fallen down a little bit. God, it'll be interesting to see those boys live in Puerto Rico. Yeah, I think so.

00:16:06
Speaker 5: I think they got a place there.

00:16:07
Speaker 1: Yeah. I was looking up once I found that out they were in Puerto Rico. I was looking up some taxes. I think you pay four percent in total in taxes when you're Yeah. Then I started looking on Zillo. Some nice houses out there in Puerto Rico, some nice houses for saling. Puerto Rico boys, what's the what's the market looking like? It's a it's hot right now. It's hot. It's a little up there. Price for square footage sits around and where between five hundred and a thousand dollars a square foot It's nice. We got here you're going to four percent income tax Chat GPT shout out chat GPT on that so something to think about. Boys. If we're looking to save a couple of shekels, maybe cruise on over to Puerto Rico sometime, right, spend over six months there, Yeah, one hundred and eighty whatever days. But yeah, dude, it's gonna be an insane weekend. It'll be awesome.

00:16:55
Speaker 5: We interrupt this episode because we are brought to you by Neutral Vodka sellser Have you tried? If not, you are missing out. Neutral is so much better than any other seltzer that I've tried. It's made with real Vodkin, real juice. That's what makes it delicious. Neutral comes in a variety of flavors, like watermelon orange as a personal favorite of Mind. They also have hit or new flavors lime and strawberry. Neutral is the perfect drink to bring when hanging with friends because it is such a crowd pleaser. Whether you're at a bar, watching the game, in the backyard with friends, at a tailgate, it doesn't matter. Neutral is there for you. Neutral, keep it tasty. Back to this episode.

00:17:33
Speaker 1: Big Weekend as well, Will Compton he went to New York Mitchie had a birthday and also my beautiful bride of nine years, Tailing Gallagher, she had a birthday as well. How was the birthday, Mitch? What we do?

00:17:46
Speaker 9: We got a boat Saturday morning, shout out rowdies, wild rides.

00:17:50
Speaker 1: Oh yeah, buddy, discount for that shout out? Didn't you?

00:17:53
Speaker 7: No?

00:17:53
Speaker 9: I didn't. We should we honestly should. I mean we got the perfect squad for it. But now it was a good time. I had an early boat, took off at like nine forty five. Get out there, beat the heat. But uh, yeah, we had a good squad come down. One of my buddies from uh New Orleans came up. You guys met him parallel and then I made up with Coop. Coop came on the boat with the boys.

00:18:16
Speaker 1: Had to be huge for you too.

00:18:17
Speaker 9: I had a He had a great time. He mixed in well with with the with the squad, and it was, uh, it was a lot of fun. Got back, chilled for a little bit, went to l A. Jackson, then watched the College World Series and Neighbors. I was home by like nin woke up yesterday feeling great. Wow, yeah and mature of you. Yeah, And I was, I was. I was bombed. I didn't make it out a little bit longer, but uh, I was a lot happier than I woke up Sunday feeling good.

00:18:50
Speaker 5: Yeah, you went about it the right way.

00:18:52
Speaker 9: Yes, for sure.

00:18:53
Speaker 1: The day drinking route, it's the best, for sure. Still had a spot at night Eli Jackson's a great rooftop bar of the day drinking is I think just undefeated. People need to stop going out at nighttime. It needs to be a nine to nine type of situation.

00:19:08
Speaker 5: You almost need those You almost you almost need that, uh, that young life in the night life until you learn and as Mitch's maturing and growing, then you just start to make the trans transition and realize that, hey, this this night games.

00:19:22
Speaker 1: Behind me, I can get this in all the sun's up. Yeah, still give myself a full night sleep. Still get some good sleep, no doubt about it. How was New York?

00:19:30
Speaker 5: Up and down? Up and down. I'm not a big New York guy. I think my personal opinion is I think New York is overrated. I think there's a lot of great food. I think you can do anything you want. We had an awesome night one night where we had a little we had a little double date night where we got some some good dinner with some great views, and then we went.

00:19:50
Speaker 1: To like a speakeasy magic show and you know your boy list. How was the magic?

00:19:56
Speaker 5: It was great good, It was great mostly card tricks. But I will say, like I was walking away trying to figure out, like how they did that.

00:20:03
Speaker 1: You know what I mean.

00:20:04
Speaker 5: There's some guy just creating pigeons out of nowhere, doves live ones, Yes, dude, Yes, he'd make like a paper airplane and then he'd fucking do something. This dude's like pulling eight different doves out of his suit. I have no fucking.

00:20:17
Speaker 1: Clue, gotta be but he's getting like a restaurant right, food and doves flying around. Yeah.

00:20:22
Speaker 5: It was insane, bro, It was insane. And then the car tricks were all time. The guys did the each different magician they have about ten minutes and then somebody new comes to your table. But each magician did a great job with their charisma, working the table, keeping your eyes, you know, for their slid of hand movement movement.

00:20:37
Speaker 1: It was.

00:20:38
Speaker 5: It was a great little it's a great little magic show. It was in like in the back of this dry cleaning business to where it was you know it's closed. You're like you're you're like bullpen is this bar?

00:20:49
Speaker 1: Next door? Guy brings you over your pen. He goes, hey, go next door, it's closed.

00:20:54
Speaker 5: But just let him know that George sent you. And so you walk over.

00:20:57
Speaker 1: You walk in.

00:20:57
Speaker 5: It's just closed, little dry clear spot closed everywhere, and you just let him know, like, hey, George Senna. So he lets us bind the desk behind the counter. We walked through all these closes. There's this little secret door in the back. You open the door and it's this just wide open space. Events space was like a little stage and everything else that had.

00:21:12
Speaker 1: A good job.

00:21:12
Speaker 5: It was fun. It was fun, but h New York. I mean I gave you a breakdown?

00:21:17
Speaker 1: Do you want me to read your I have your breakdown pulled up? Would you like me to read it? You can read it? Okay, This is four thirteen pm yesterday. I texted Will how was NYC? Dirty? Smelly? Two separate texts me two cry laughy face emojis, and I said lost a step and then he said tasty fun. I go, oh two hs rounded it out with lots of gaze and I respond, oh, one h what a ride you just took? Me on. That's it. That's what was breakdown of New York.

00:21:56
Speaker 5: Dude, corner you turn, there's these posters that says like weed made me gay, every boaster and there's just trash to do that dude like, it's ah, can we do that?

00:22:09
Speaker 1: Yeah?

00:22:10
Speaker 2: Why not?

00:22:11
Speaker 1: The only one way to find out?

00:22:13
Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying.

00:22:15
Speaker 5: There's a reason I stopped smoking. And once I saw that, we is.

00:22:19
Speaker 1: That the weed? That's the weed? I'll go get it. What the hell we're sending someone over there? Some lady? So those are you? I'm whispering right now because there's a lady that just came in our shop. She laughed. I don't know who walks in Oh, yes, so it seems like it's all good. Who walks into a dark room. I don't know she's excuse me, screaming reminds me of New Yorker, right when you said when you send me those text I was dying.

00:22:49
Speaker 5: You're walking around and there there is it's just like trash everywhere, and I just think of my mind. I don't know how people live here. I can see how people visit there because you can get into whatever you want to get into.

00:22:58
Speaker 1: Great food, great coffee shop, US, great bagels.

00:23:01
Speaker 5: All the stuff that you enjoy in New York. But living there just I don't understand that mindset.

00:23:06
Speaker 1: I think it's a lot of things you just said is the reason right convenience, Like you live on your block and you have everything you want. You probably have every different kind of food, you have your coffee shop, you go to everything's walking distance. It's an active lifestyle. Yeah, but it's so fucking expensive, no doubt.

00:23:23
Speaker 9: Bro.

00:23:23
Speaker 5: The hotel we were standing in like a solid brand of a hotel, the Hawkston, but every the room that we were in was like this little four hundred square foot room and it was essentially like enough room for the bed in the bathroom.

00:23:34
Speaker 1: And I'm sure it was really expensive. Yeah, I don't even know.

00:23:37
Speaker 5: I don't even know what.

00:23:38
Speaker 1: We also shutout on it, shut out Will's bags. He doesn't even know how much the room costs. Let's get him around the bloss shut out Will not looking at the receipts anymore.

00:23:47
Speaker 5: Comment I'm like, why don't we get two of these, oh dude, because they're so small. Bro, It's like anytime we're having downtime with the Fame, we're all four on the bed. Yeah, you can't really get nap times in no you know, Roose three, Scottie, seven months. You're trying to like stay on routines stuff, but it kind of goes out the window a little bit when you're all crammed inside of a room which is a.

00:24:03
Speaker 1: Space, no closet space.

00:24:05
Speaker 5: We have all these bags, you know, when you're you're traveling with the kids, like each kid has their own little bag because again seven months, Scottie, she needs a lot more than you know, Rue has such a different bag than she does. You got to bring all the stuff. You got our massive bag, unpacked, lightlip heavy. So I just got my duffel bag coming from Chicago going to and Oh with a dozen trivia shot out, the booze ponies and the big suitcase. It's just like laid out in the bathroom, you know what I mean. There's just not a lot of there's not a lot of wiggle room. Yeah, kind of reminds you of like being in Europe where everything's just a lot smaller and more crammed, and there's just there's just so many fucking people.

00:24:37
Speaker 1: Dude. It's one thing I don't do, and it's people A lot of people in once, A lot of people just being around you at one time. It was too much. It's like, yeah, need my space. I wish I the one of the things I wish most in life is that I've known I knew you longer, Like not just in twenty eight ten. I wish I knew you in twenty ten. Right, I wish we've had like this this long like teenage amount of years together. But if we were roommates in college, we were you you, we wouldn't have made it. We wouldn't have been you don't think so, No, I think it's one of those things where you go to college, you get paired up with somebody you don't really know, but it's another football player. We get paired together because like, all right, they're both white guys.

00:25:16
Speaker 5: Yeah, but we were we would have had what about six months in the summer dorms. Yeah, in that moment, I would have learned about you, and I would have known like, okay, I gotta make a pivot. Or because I don't think I had the same roommates after every well, we'll.

00:25:30
Speaker 1: Had to make a change every every semester.

00:25:32
Speaker 5: Yeah, essentially I made a change each.

00:25:34
Speaker 1: Each year, right, And just thinking this next relationship will be better than the last. Yeah, Team O was the longest standing one. Shut up my boy team all the good stories.

00:25:42
Speaker 5: We had a little townhouse together and Zoe Whaley. I enjoyed living with Zoe Whaley.

00:25:46
Speaker 1: Okay, so there are some in the fold. There is a couple of that, you like, a couple of gems. Yeah, okay, yeah.

00:25:52
Speaker 5: I don't think I even did a year with my brother with Cody that had to be there. After that year, it is like we got to figure something else out right.

00:25:58
Speaker 1: How does that conversation take place between you and Cody. He's probably fired up about the next year. He's ready to resend the lease. You let it go drag on a little long. I think we bought there. It was okay, yeah, all right, I think you sure it was you? Sure he knew what time it was? I think so maybe not, probably not, probably not knowing you. Yeah right. You just get to a point, you know, Hey, by the way, I'm gonna move somewhere else. Yeah all right, that's all good. Yeah, but yeah, big weekends. Taylor had a birthday. Taylor shout out. Taylor thirty two years old, looks twenty five looks twenty five big. It was big weekend for her. Saturday, which was her birthday, June twenty first, she decided to do the launch party, which is Summer Solstice, her launch party for her business, Nature ad Nurture. So we go to this little farm area which is actually Delaney Ryder Ernest and his wife. They just bought this property out in Fairview, Okay, beautiful. I think it's like twenty seven acres. They have like a couple of barns. They set their own little farmer's market. Nature at Nurtures write the vocal point, and they have all these local people that are said displaying what nature and Nurture is all about. It's awesome. It is so fucking hot the entire time, and I'm I'm dying. I dress up kind of nice. I have a pair of slacks on a light a light Hawaiian shirt and it's buttoned, but the buttons just keep going down and down. I'm starting to leak and leak and leak. Finally I find out there's a room with some ac so I get to break away. Every once in a while. My kids I give them twenty dollars and they are just having a great time because it's just a small little area. So they're like feeling this level of independence. That's amazing. They're going up, they're grabbing themselves a little mocktail. They go over here, they get themselves a hat. Five minutes later they're back for another twenty dollars. All right, those kids house me for about two hundred dollars the entire night, which was tough. But then they have this little this dinner and you go down this little dry this little drive area on these Kawasakis, which we got to get a plug for that, these little Kawasaki side by side things, unbelievable. Go down there and there's like five or six big tables, a beautiful like you know, little flowers and greenery stuff set out. Jason Russell, best chef in Nashville, Tennessee. In my chef, he was cooking the whole thing up. There is a geyser of some sort, like a un natural water spring that is slowly spewing over into a creek. It's absolutely beautiful. The sun is setting, the water's cooler than the air, so there's a little steam coming off. I sit there, back, I take a big step back. Imagine there's nobody there and just wishing I would see a figure and hearing because there's the perfect scene for a Friday the thirteenth, Jason Vorhees. The food was immaculate, the girls gave speeches, their stage presence was incredible. Did a great job. So if you're out there and you're also subscribing to this podcast, go ahead and give Nature at Nurture a follow as well. All Right, they're just trying to make the world a better place.

00:28:43
Speaker 5: How can people support?

00:28:45
Speaker 1: Go to Nature at Nurture and follow.

00:28:46
Speaker 5: But I'm saying, like, are there are there ways?

00:28:49
Speaker 1: So they got a little website that you can go and anything you buy, I think it goes into the local community. All the people that make stup. I think there's like a seed company that they do, which is really cool because there's one who started it. But they have like a bunch of people that have like special needs and they have like their their job is like put the seeds in the packages, and so they'll put it on their website. That website will people will buy it and then they'll obviously local companies will make money. It's all about figuring out a way to slow down, which we do not bus what the boys does not slow down. We were actually just speeding up in a big way. But it's taking pause, just kind of zooming out a little bit and realizing all this hustle and bustle stuff and maybe not not for all of us. It's like the story of the fishermen. Have you heard the story of the fishermen?

00:29:32
Speaker 5: Possibly?

00:29:32
Speaker 1: All right, we want to sit down. So there's this guy on an island and he fishes every single day, make he catches fish, goes and sells him at a market, goes home, feeds his family with the same fish. And this guy crushed. He's great at fishing. Some guy comes and approaches a businessman in a suit says, hey, man, if you want, you can add more boats to this and then slowly become like a massive thing and like you could have a huge company. The guy's like then what He's like, then you make way more money and he's like, then what I do? And he's like, then you can have a bigger house. And he's like then what And he keeps going then with then on, and then he eventually gets to then you can retire and live on a small island and just hang out and fish for yourself, essentially being like, if you work really hard, you can do the same thing you're doing right now, and this guy just chooses. You know what, man, I enjoy the life I have. Why make it harder than it has to be. This is exactly where I need to be. So it's not taking that next step. It's the ability to say no.

00:30:22
Speaker 7: The story of the Mexican Fisherman, the story of.

00:30:24
Speaker 1: The Mexican I has to be Mexican. But yeah, the story of the Mexican.

00:30:26
Speaker 7: Fisherman, because that's the historically accurate that's the story.

00:30:32
Speaker 1: But you were aware, you know the story?

00:30:34
Speaker 7: Oh yeah, I know the story.

00:30:35
Speaker 1: Yeah. First time I read that story, I was at a Jimmy John's and it was one of those signs and I was like, this ship is fucking.

00:30:43
Speaker 5: Sign next to it dance like nobody's watching.

00:30:48
Speaker 7: Dancing the rain, but it was.

00:30:49
Speaker 1: It was. It was really cool tailing. I mean to do that on her birthday. Good for her.

00:30:53
Speaker 7: We got to stop forcing pants in the summer. Long pants, dude.

00:30:57
Speaker 1: I was wearing these like Wrangler like light little things that were kind of like a little higher some loafers on there that could breeze. So I don't have to wear socks with them. And I was like, this should be good, right, And I walked outside. Dude, I was just dying, but I wanted to dress up because I knew she was dressed up. I got the kids dressed up in dresses. Right.

00:31:14
Speaker 7: You got three other months to dress up though, Like summer, you should just be able to wear shorts to wherever you're going dinner, a bar, party, whatever it is. Let me wear shorts. Yeah, it's ninety five degrees.

00:31:26
Speaker 5: Make shorts great again.

00:31:27
Speaker 7: Make shorts great again.

00:31:28
Speaker 1: No doubt. And speaking of making things great, I like to go just rewind back to your story. You're at the Magic I thought you were going to go to Iran.

00:31:37
Speaker 2: That's what I thought.

00:31:38
Speaker 1: Oh really, do you guys want to break that down?

00:31:41
Speaker 5: No, it was more of like, you know, I'm just like, I'm joshing around.

00:31:44
Speaker 1: You, just having a good time, having fun with it. I get it. I tell you what, sitting on the tarmac for two and a half hours, you learned a lot. Yeah, you're sitting there.

00:31:52
Speaker 5: It's like I would have rather been on to be too stealth bomber dropping at thirty thirty thousand pounder than sitting on a tarmac with two little kids. I'm talking. We were in one of those situation where were supposed to take off at twelve. We board the plane southwest, shot out southwest, no free shots however southwest.

00:32:06
Speaker 1: It was a little pain in my ass.

00:32:08
Speaker 5: Oh, because we're sitting on the tarmac for over two hours, bro, and we're not really getting any answers, and it's me char We got Scottie and Rue and stuff, and you you know how it gets, bro, Like.

00:32:18
Speaker 1: Yeah, I was just gonna say, I know exactly how it gets.

00:32:20
Speaker 5: Yeah, Like you're like, you're fucking in hell, dude. They were like, I feel like as good as they could be in that kind of situation. They weren't like it was never like really downhill. It was more just were tired from the weekend. We're so excited to get back to Nashville and get in some space, get in the house with some space. Yeah, arms, dad fucking sucked, dude.

00:32:38
Speaker 1: Two hours Yeah yeah.

00:32:40
Speaker 5: Now were you because we're one weeks away from the gate. Yeah, we were sitting on that. We were like sitting on the runway.

00:32:46
Speaker 1: That sucks because at that point, if we're two hours, you might as well do like de plane.

00:32:50
Speaker 5: Yeah, the kids around kind of gave us like an update, but not a real update. They're not giving you like an estimate of when it's all gonna happen. Insance on its way. We thought Matenance was already there with the fun's going on.

00:33:00
Speaker 1: Yeah, wifi' is probably not working great.

00:33:02
Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm texting the boys because we wanted to. It was like take off, it to land or take off at twelve landed two. We were looking at shooting for the dads at like four pm when I landed on Sunday yesterday, and we since we didn't get back, we had to push it and we came in and shot for the Dad's at like nine thirty at night.

00:33:16
Speaker 1: Oh we're here to you about midnight. Just brutal.

00:33:20
Speaker 7: Yeah, all because of lack of transparency by the airline.

00:33:23
Speaker 1: Yeah right, just speak up because I love Southwest.

00:33:27
Speaker 7: We've got a lot of protests going on in the world right now. We might need a star one with the airlines.

00:33:31
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, what's your stance?

00:33:34
Speaker 7: They just tell us the truth when we're being delayed.

00:33:36
Speaker 5: Yeah, buddy, I was when I got done in Chicago, I flew out. When was it Thursday morning? I was supposed to be on the eight am flight and get land in New York or land in LaGuardia, like around eleven eleven thirty. I show up at the gate all of a sudden, my ticket now says eleven am. They put me on a different flight because United overbooked. Didn't even ask, didn't even ask. I got it was crazy. I don't see on the computer like you're on the eleven AM and I'm like, I pull up where I bought the eight am flight and they're like, oh, we don't have we're overbooked.

00:34:04
Speaker 1: I was like, well, if there's a seat, and they're like, we got a long stand by list, so you had to wait till eleven.

00:34:09
Speaker 5: Yeah, the wait till eleven. I'm in the airport. The flight was at eight am. I'm in the airport of like six forty five is when I got there.

00:34:15
Speaker 1: Yeah. So I just I'm kicking in, I'm eating breakfast.

00:34:18
Speaker 5: I am binging mobling. I am done with moblin. I got done with mobling in like three days. MOBLINGE It's fucking awesome.

00:34:25
Speaker 1: That was That was a text I received this weekend was like you need to watch mobline. Yes, it's like that. Yes, bro.

00:34:31
Speaker 5: We were at UFC three sixteen and and Dana was telling us about mobling and saying telling us that we have to watch it. We have to watch a guy ritchie awesome writer, director and producer and bro buddy Tom Hardy crushes it. It is a fucking awesome gangster style show. It is awesome. I cannot wait for season two. Literally binged. It got it done.

00:34:54
Speaker 1: Quick?

00:34:54
Speaker 5: Oh out of the gate. Dana was telling us on episode one. He's like, they get into it quick and it jumps off fast, and it's it's about it dude. Yeah, Yes, the show is awesome. Shout out Dana White for the wreck.

00:35:09
Speaker 1: One.

00:35:10
Speaker 6: Shout out Dana White, good friend to the show. Two, That show sounds sick. Three Airlines. I just needed to say this. They can't keep getting away with this. It's ridiculous. I'm pissed. If you look at the small riding, whenever you purchase a ticket, it's like, when you purchase a ticket, you are agreeing that we can pretty much bring this ticket, wipe it with our ass and you get no flight and you still have to pay this unless you also pay this for insurance. And that's an extra three hundred dollars, which is the cost of your ticket, and that pisses me off.

00:35:42
Speaker 1: I'm sorry, that doesn't even cover shit, bro, it doesn't And it doesn't even covers what the not wiping your ass with the ticket. Yeah, that's about it. That's about it. And so the whole sitting on the tarmac thing, that's a massive inconvenience that sucks. It does happen, though, right like people they fly and fly out. If you look at a map of all the planes going on one time, I can see what they get. A little little traffic jam, a little log jam every once in a while. But the idea of waking up for a flight, an eight am flight, and going to the counter and being like, eleven am, what are you talking about and they just moved your flight because they decided to that. Shit's gotta stop.

00:36:14
Speaker 5: That is a whole book.

00:36:16
Speaker 1: That's crazy to me.

00:36:19
Speaker 5: Remember seeing the option, you know, when they send you the option like, hey, we're looking for people to take a later flight, and you hit the climb. It's like that happens so often. It's like, how in the fuck do they get this wrong? And then you're right, the god they gotta stop getting away with it.

00:36:32
Speaker 1: Who is accepting that, who has all the time in the world to go and be like, you know what, I'll take a flight tomorrow. Well we have to accept it. Yeah.

00:36:39
Speaker 5: I was gonna say, we do it quick bit, we do that. Yeah, think about it. If we're somewhere we're like, hey, if this is gonna get done sooner, we can probably catch an earlier flight.

00:36:48
Speaker 9: No.

00:36:48
Speaker 1: No, I'm saying. If you're at the gate and they sit there and they're like, hey, we're looking for people to volunteer to move to a later flight or tomorrow flight.

00:36:55
Speaker 5: Oh got you.

00:36:55
Speaker 1: That's like what I've never seen somebody walk and be like yeah, I love that thousand voucher or five hundred dollars voucher, whatever it is. I've never seen somebody do that.

00:37:04
Speaker 6: What was the crazy situation that happened to Tailing and your kids that they had to like fly clear across the country.

00:37:10
Speaker 1: They're in just north of Toronto at this spot that Grandpa when grew up at I can't remember the name of right now. It's not Turtle Bay, but it's something bay. And they had to like drive like an hour and a half to Toronto, get to Toronto, and they was so messed up that they're like, hey, there's the flights are canceled for like the next two days. So they had to go back to whatever the name is Bee and wait two days to go back. And it's like, well, how does how does this happen? How am I not? How am I not learning about this until right now? And then I'm standing in front of you. I can't receive a text, to call an email.

00:37:44
Speaker 5: In all this bitch and it reminds me of I think, what is it? Luis c K has a bit on just planes, like flying. We bitch so much about flying, but it's like back in the day they had to take horses, and we're bitching about the fact that, like we're going to go across the country, it's going to take two hours, and we're all just yeah, it takes.

00:38:01
Speaker 1: Them three weeks, three weeks, and they might starve to death on the way there, Like hey, likely five of your children might pass away during this, and we're like, god, damn dude.

00:38:10
Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, like playing those odds every single time. Yeah, planes are a pretty big breakthrough. We have this fucking metal tube. Yeah, this metal tube that just goes across the country in minutes. Or hours at a time, and we're bitching about that when I sit on there. Yeah, we just want your all.

00:38:27
Speaker 1: Like with this is much technology advancing. We can also get over the intercom and be like, hey, just say you guys know, shit's a little fucked up out here. I know you don't know because you're sitting the tube, but I can see outside the tube. I'm letting know the tubes are gonna deal with it, right, Yeah, talking out communication it's key, dude, it's key. What else we got? Well, what else it? Oh? One thing I was gonna say, this is very small. When you're at the Magic Show and you said pigeons, then you went to doves JP. I love some backup on this, but I feel like pigeons are very underrated bird. I feel like pigeons are a big time underrated. Gotta get this one off. I gotta get off my chest. I feel like pigeons, I don't even don't it's overlooked. It's an overlooked bird.

00:39:06
Speaker 7: Because of the history of them. Yeah, they were. They used to be one of the most valuable I mean, I guess valuable animals in the world.

00:39:13
Speaker 1: Right, what did you do before text messages? Right?

00:39:15
Speaker 7: Pigeon gets your pigeon.

00:39:17
Speaker 1: Yeah, and they just send a raven. Couldn't afford a raven, you gotta get the pigeon.

00:39:21
Speaker 7: And apparently that's why they love being in the city, because they're still around people.

00:39:24
Speaker 1: Yeah, they are the opposite of wortle confident. They like to be around people. And also people say they're gross birds. They're kind of pretty. Like you got a couple that are dragged some mass in the feather category, but there's.

00:39:35
Speaker 5: A few of your groups.

00:39:36
Speaker 2: Every fuse got there pretty.

00:39:37
Speaker 7: But they also look like they might be coated in gas. It was like that gas.

00:39:42
Speaker 1: Yeah, they all kind of like got them to oil for which I think looks nice. Arm doubt, Jared, big big pigeons.

00:39:52
Speaker 7: I've been seeing recently around here that have not been caring about getting out of the road. The one I was driving and he just walked and I stopped, of course, but you get a little too comfortable. Yeah, it's like, all right, we did move.

00:40:04
Speaker 1: On, respect and love pigeons. However, like you need to understand, right, who the alpha is.

00:40:09
Speaker 7: On the road is the reason we're at the top of the food chain, no doubt.

00:40:11
Speaker 1: Right, they were have this episode to bring you simply Safe. 00:41:38
Speaker 5: That's because we're like the beef capital of the world.

00:41:43
Speaker 1: I hope that works out, man, but I hope it doesn't. I hope you guys have a ten win season. I do, because that ship's not gonna look good.

00:41:50
Speaker 7: Shipping that beef not gonna look good if.

00:41:53
Speaker 1: You guys start losing up. What do you say?

00:41:55
Speaker 5: He says, shipping that beef to Bryce Underwood.

00:41:59
Speaker 1: And though muscular, but yeah, who is this? Looking on? Baby Gronk making another parents at Nebraska recommitted, recommitted, still have an unread text messages from him or not? Text dm on Twitter? Another one go into the Matt Rule football camp. Look, he wants to be great, he wants to be great. But Matt's been on. Matt's been on an interesting journey. I want to I know Matt watches the show. Matt, you know, I love you. Been on an interesting journey.

00:42:30
Speaker 5: He's having fun, bringing some recruiting.

00:42:33
Speaker 1: As long as fun gets you wins. Yeah, Like we're about the process. We need to be about the process, the grit, the ship.

00:42:40
Speaker 7: You need you need a Jim Harbaugh. Just see his hide and Seek story.

00:42:44
Speaker 5: Yeah, eight hours under a table.

00:42:48
Speaker 7: There is their families played and hide and Seek and Jim Harbaugh basically like suspended himself underneath the table with the chair so like you couldn't see him if you were just a walk by and look under. And he was there for eight hours.

00:43:01
Speaker 5: Eight hours was found.

00:43:04
Speaker 2: You know.

00:43:04
Speaker 1: They they ended that table. They were like, hey, we got we got died. We got to go eat some lunch, sat that table, enjoyed themselves. Matt Rule in front of the show, but also doesn't follow a bus with the.

00:43:12
Speaker 7: Boys Alpha move.

00:43:15
Speaker 1: This is Oh that doesn't fall. You're you're zooming in on that and you're looking at me like.

00:43:21
Speaker 5: Well, no, I was.

00:43:23
Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I do understand that.

00:43:26
Speaker 6: I was more so saying it's his profile picture.

00:43:28
Speaker 5: Now, that's profile pick worthy.

00:43:30
Speaker 1: That photo doesn't go hard.

00:43:31
Speaker 5: It does.

00:43:32
Speaker 1: The photo goes hard. He's having fun, He's having fun. Let's have fun in October.

00:43:38
Speaker 5: Yeah, we will be having fun for every day.

00:43:41
Speaker 1: Excepisode one.

00:43:42
Speaker 6: I'm trying to find the one where he was on the ball with Raila.

00:43:45
Speaker 1: Would love to see a picture of Matt Rule sitting in the front legs straddled over a bull and Dylan Royola riding right behind holding his hips. Nothing would make me happier. I'm making that up. Wasn't there one where? Yeah, yeah, there's one. They're hitting the little they're they're a little sign. What is this?

00:44:03
Speaker 5: I don't know what it means, but I assume it's got a little inside.

00:44:07
Speaker 1: Yeah. Football seasons right around the corner boards. Yeah, football season seventy six days, future National champions seventy six days. Still finally football's back. Yeah, and I cannot. I know it's gonna be an exciting year. It'll be electric.

00:44:24
Speaker 5: We're getting to do a lot of fun ship.

00:44:26
Speaker 1: This is going to be a hell of this. One partnership pans out, if there's one partnership pans out, if one partnership come.

00:44:33
Speaker 5: I'm saying we got one in the works.

00:44:35
Speaker 1: Yeah, I think it was always fun ideas. Yeah, okay, that's what I was just making sure because when I was like trying to add on to that, You're like, no, that you got one.

00:44:45
Speaker 5: Though the way you were saying one, I thought you were like, uh, you're not you know, you're not including any others that we have and I'm like, Oh, they're all awesome.

00:44:52
Speaker 1: They're are one that we're working on with. The fun idea would really set the tone, set the fucking tone. Who's gonna send it? They're gonna set it, yeah, because we got our partners are outstanding right now, sau see, we gotta go on. That's a nice one. Roola Rule. What are the odds that's a taxi dermy bull? What are the odds? It's not a real bull.

00:45:16
Speaker 5: That's a live bull.

00:45:20
Speaker 1: Nothing like a man in short straddling. So that ship is hilarious to me.

00:45:26
Speaker 5: Look at That's what I was thinking too.

00:45:28
Speaker 1: You got some nice calves. He had some good ones. He has some Patty chambers on him. But look at rules inside, joke at the bus, look at look at yeah.

00:45:41
Speaker 5: You know he's having a good time. I like seeing him have fun because I know the boys are putting him work right now.

00:45:46
Speaker 1: Is he sending you videos? Yeah? I give videos? Is that twelve and a half? Is that what that means? That? Hands on? We're not here to predict, We're not here to play hypotheticals.

00:45:59
Speaker 5: There's a burning fire inside that's very excited about this year. There is there's a burning fire.

00:46:03
Speaker 1: You don't say, hey, guys, breaking news, we'll come to excited about the football season for Nebraska.

00:46:09
Speaker 2: Holy shit.

00:46:10
Speaker 5: But you know the stars are a lot on a little bit different.

00:46:12
Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm telling you, guys are taking the other step. Seven to five, We're fucking doing this.

00:46:16
Speaker 5: But I'm talking. I'm talking the Capitol One. I'm talking the optimism you had before, the one one win better, the Matt rule year three when he first got hired. Hey, your one might look like this, year two.

00:46:26
Speaker 1: Might look like that, but year three looks like that.

00:46:28
Speaker 5: But year three looks like this.

00:46:31
Speaker 1: He made the Big twelve championship with Baylor. And year three, Yeah, who's this quarterback? Nobody boom. That's how you know it's good for Nebraska. You know it's good for Nebraska. But but if we go seven and five, proud, yeah, proud Capital One, Capitol One.

00:46:51
Speaker 5: I don't think seven wins get your Capital one got Michigan. Capitol wins a prominent fucking bowl.

00:46:57
Speaker 1: If you play your cards, VE play your cards, right, you guys. Seven to five is Michigan. You're You're in the Capitol in the Capital One. If you have seven to five at Michigan, you beat Alabama in the bowl game. I don't know when we played like the uh I think it was like that. It's like, is Capitol One still a bull? Yeah? I don't think that. No tax layer, that's that's the That's the old o g Gator Bowl. But there's like the Relya Quest Bowl. That's what we played in the Relya Quest Bowl. It ain't it ain't no Lawnmower Bowl. Ain't that said?

00:47:37
Speaker 6: Why is everybody getting onto Matt Rule for being a bad boy when he won the damn bad Boy Mowers Bowl and everybody's getting onto.

00:47:45
Speaker 1: Getting on him. Let's give a quick round of applause to l s U for winning the College World Series big time, big time. Also, okay, se win the NBA Championship. Good for them and that will wrap up our NBA two. Hope you guys enjoyed that.

00:48:05
Speaker 2: I can't believe.

00:48:05
Speaker 5: Oh, buddy towards Achilles though, that's crazy. He had what he had a string calf going into the game and it was kind of like the wall.

00:48:15
Speaker 7: What would y'all do? You're going to.

00:48:17
Speaker 5: That's hard broke because it's game seven?

00:48:19
Speaker 9: Right?

00:48:20
Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah, I mean that's why you play the game.

00:48:23
Speaker 5: If in your mind, you feel like you can go you have to. I mean, that's that's It's like, that's why you play through injury.

00:48:29
Speaker 7: There's three torn achilles in the playoffs this year, I think crazy. And they're also calling this the least exciting NBA Championship because of how the Thunder just the vibe of their team and everything, and there wasn't a ton of excitement even from the players after criticized.

00:48:46
Speaker 1: Yeah, it was yeah.

00:48:48
Speaker 5: I mean I didn't really follow it, but it seemed like it was. Uh, it was exciting from the standpoint of the Pacers being like, what were they a five seed?

00:48:55
Speaker 7: Yeah, they were a five seed. And I think the Thunder deserved were credit because they build through the draft every year and they don't do the whole like sign a bunch of superstars, create super teams each and every year. They put together a squad full of just fully developed players that they chose and it's it's impressive, but they don't get to love.

00:49:15
Speaker 1: Yeah, because there was a lot of excitement because this is the first Game seven in a long time, right, Yeah, since Cavis Warriors first Game seven, and everyone's getting all hyped. I'm getting to the point where, like I might have to watch this game. Didn't, but I was thinking to myself, I Patch was on, and then I'm going to bed and I see that. Okay, see who wins the championship and then they're walking off the court like nothing. Yeah.

00:49:37
Speaker 5: I want to say I always seen some things too that it was like kind of like script had already written, because okay, see you had like there's a championship, buses lined up, a score got leaked.

00:49:47
Speaker 1: Yeah.

00:49:48
Speaker 7: They love doing that though, just like with the NFL.

00:49:51
Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, it's always fun to talk about it being scripted. Yeah, this had to make you happy.

00:49:55
Speaker 1: This video of Joe Burrow, It did. And I love Joe Burrow. We've met him. We saw him at UFC Miami. Great year ago, great guy, incredible guy. But I think at this point we can all give a little grace to people that throw pitches, right, especially when it's not in your wheelhouse. The boy grew up in a football locker room, all right, both of us. He spent hours and hours and hours years of his life trying to perfect a pass, and now he puts a baseball in his him and it's going about as well as mind went. Not only once twice three, four, five times he throws this pitch. I'm a huge fan of Joe Burrow. And when Joe Burrow watches this clip, he sees it, his boys showed him. Hey, Taylor wants to expect you. I'm not. I'm telling you, I get it as another elite athlete as well, Joe.

00:50:39
Speaker 5: I think that's where this is. That's where the coin kind of has to stop. As the elite athlete. If you're seen as an elite that elite athlete, you're expected to kind of do athletic things, and throwing a baseball.

00:50:49
Speaker 1: Would be one of those things.

00:50:50
Speaker 5: Right, Yeah, he's now just a hey he can throw a ball really well. You became like, oh, that's right, he can just block people. I'm just saying, that's kinne. If I have to play.

00:51:03
Speaker 1: I got President Trump saying what he says to me, and I got my best friends saying the same thing. If I can just if I can just play the other side of it, go ahead. That is where it has to stop. I can't be an elite athlete because I messed up one pitch. Kind of that is fucking crazy.

00:51:23
Speaker 5: Will just have the We've had these arguments on the bus that you know we die on the hill for football players being the best athletes out of every sport. And these videos of you and Joe Burrow having throws like this, when you guys are seeing as elite level athletes in our sport that we are trying to argue and debate for when our best can't throw a fucking pitch. That's where it's like we have no we have no foundation to stand off.

00:51:48
Speaker 1: Baseball and hockey are very unique sports. It's like a unique skill set, it's a different it's athletic ability. How many fat pitchers do you see a lot? How many fat first basemen you see a lot? So we want to talk about running and jumping and lifting and stopping a man from point A to point taking a man from point A to point B against his will.

00:52:10
Speaker 2: Oh oops, are you?

00:52:11
Speaker 1: Are you showing a fun clip of me scoring a touchdown and burning these eleven yards running away from this big boy right here. Yeah, that's what athletes do. And I've had to sit down for two weeks. Whatever. Let the haters play their little games. Oh you're just you can just block which Now I'm finding out where that narrative's coming from. He's just the right there, right fucking there.

00:52:38
Speaker 5: That's what people will argue. If we get people will.

00:52:40
Speaker 1: Argue that, however, we're talking about running, jumping, athleticism. You've worked out with me. You worked out with me pretty quick.

00:52:49
Speaker 2: Was was pretty.

00:52:50
Speaker 1: Quick and white grinding athlete, and we let a pitch get away from me one time, one time, one time, And you guys have all played catch with me. Yeah, the winds up a little shaky, sorry, a little beat up. Sorry, tread's been running off these tires because you've boys been working this whole life. But brow, I bet you could hit two, and I bet I could play hockey better than you guys too at a later date. Now you, Matt, if you're fucking middle part there was he's talking like he's fucking like he's Sidney Crosby or something.

00:53:25
Speaker 7: People are just worried if if you weren't six seven, like what, well, what would have happened?

00:53:30
Speaker 1: If I was six six six four, I'd be a guard and I would also be elite.

00:53:37
Speaker 7: We just don't know, that's twitter.

00:53:43
Speaker 3: What do you.

00:53:46
Speaker 1: What do you say?

00:53:46
Speaker 5: Heyre's a guard. As a guard, you gotta be more of a you gotta be like a big moler, not as much of a finesse guy on the edge.

00:53:56
Speaker 1: First off, what.

00:54:00
Speaker 9: Wee saying I'm done with you?

00:54:02
Speaker 1: First, let's up here about fess.

00:54:07
Speaker 5: You said that.

00:54:08
Speaker 10: You say that you're an athletic I was, You're an athletic tackle movement. But don't get it twisted scrimmage. You're boys thinking guys point A to point B against their will. That happened, Oh, Derrick Henry nine nine yard touchdown.

00:54:24
Speaker 1: That's weird. That was Ryan left. That is duo. That is a gap scheme play. There is no finesse in that game. That's taking a three technique saying fucking see you later and then going to Mic and saying how's your mother and then letting Derek Henry do the rest.

00:54:40
Speaker 5: Okay, if I'm.

00:54:49
Speaker 1: Guys with no film talking like that, that's hey, listen, but a bigger god his that's no doubt. All right, we all know. But the knee, we all know.

00:54:57
Speaker 2: That was the end of me.

00:54:59
Speaker 1: That was the end. That was a getting the end. It was a shell of myself. But we can all focus on twenty one or we can look at the full body of work. Okay, let's look at the full body of work. This is twenty sixteen. This is twenty sixteen, Tailor right here.

00:55:12
Speaker 5: No one, nobody, nobody sure.

00:55:16
Speaker 2: That big a Pro Bowl that year?

00:55:19
Speaker 1: Sure?

00:55:19
Speaker 6: Let me, let me chat, let me CHATCHBT.

00:55:22
Speaker 5: Nobody is debating that you were an elite left tackling. It's the elite athlete title that comes into play. So if we're taking in the full body of work, you have film doing other sports, your most recent one being that pitch to where it it's hard to say elite athlete.

00:55:43
Speaker 9: Could it be argued that Will may be a better elite athlete because he threw a better pitch.

00:55:49
Speaker 2: No, Joe, I was just one of the.

00:55:53
Speaker 1: Will is a phenomenal athlete. What oh does that chut GBT? What's that saying? Will? Just with the blue?

00:56:00
Speaker 5: Taylor is widely considered an elite athlete. However, chat GPT is not updated type of as chat GPT. Did you see Taylor one's first pitch?

00:56:14
Speaker 1: Yes, I'll cross check. Yeah, it's a computer. How does it see that? It just sees ones and zeros? Listen, Will, We're not. I'm not. This is not all as Will a better athlete than taror thing. Will was a linebacker in the NFL. Yeah, undrafted. Yeah, state wide receiver. I do not forget all state wide receiver that was a two way player. Was a two way player. How many touchdowns do you have in the NFL? Oh?

00:56:37
Speaker 5: God, I can't. A lot of hits to the head, I can't.

00:56:40
Speaker 1: I think it was one less than me. I can't remember. I think it was one less.

00:56:43
Speaker 5: Thing got offered as a wide receiver in a full back nice? Yeah, nice, well rounded athlete.

00:56:51
Speaker 1: No brainer?

00:56:54
Speaker 5: Will read that spectacularly bad throw?

00:56:57
Speaker 1: No, don't read the whole thing, will, yes, Taylor your first news media Yes, Taylor Lawan's first pitch, I'll read it and I'll start over to Yes, Taylor Lawan's first pitch at the Cardinals game was a spectacularly bad throw, even for someone considered an elite athlete. Yeah, because I'm not an elite athlete anymore, buddy, Like this is me now. But if we're looking at just what I've done, come on, boys like this, Me and Joe Burrow against the rules that we gotta do. Me and Joe got to band together to fight, busting with the boys. Not a bad guy to fight with me and Joe, Joe and I a duo. He can have the first name come out. Joe and I, Joe and Taylor fights the world, and I got to see my best friend talking about Bud.

00:57:50
Speaker 5: I can't sit here idly by and not talk about what people are saying out there to at least. Hey, it is debate.

00:57:56
Speaker 1: That's why Will was never He's always listening to the noise. That's the issue right there. These other people are saying, no dog. These other people didn't run a four eight seven at six seven, which is the fastest time by any offensive lineman over over sixty six, which is a weird stat. By the way, it's still a stat. That's such a weird stat. Yeah, I got thirty reps on the bench, strong and fast, whatever.

00:58:21
Speaker 7: Yeah.

00:58:22
Speaker 1: When I was on my House Hockey League team, I got a hat trick in the House Cup and we won. Did you No, you didn't, Will. You ran away. You played JV wrestling and you ran away and you got grounded. You got grounded because you didn't want to compete. That's what happened. Your dad walked in and said you want to shot at the title. You said, no, Pop, no, I don't want that, daddy, please no.

00:58:50
Speaker 5: So come on, you're bleeding in the water right now, no doubt, no doubt about it, because here's the biggest takeaway from that too that you missed. But I am on your side and I want you to understand this. One bad moment does an erase elite athleticism does not?

00:59:07
Speaker 1: Does not?

00:59:07
Speaker 5: Okay, does not.

00:59:09
Speaker 1: So now you're back on my team.

00:59:11
Speaker 5: We've got what we needed to out of this out of yea.

00:59:13
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, we've We've squeezed the juice out of this one. But yes, you guys know about cash app. That's bullshit, dude, because I listen, listen, I did dirry minus me one. 01:00:30
Speaker 5: Yeah, the hips thing.

01:00:31
Speaker 1: This shit pisces me off. It's like, let me, let me put my body into this a little bit. I think we went back and wash it right exactly. That was a case bugget like thirty five. But well, you know it's all good.

01:02:26
Speaker 1: Hey, I love you to death. I gotta go. Yeah, I gotta roll. Boston, fun city, though I play. Boston is the pigeon of America, like it's underrated.

01:02:34
Speaker 5: Yeah, you're right, the pigeon of America. That doesn't sound like a compliment.

01:02:39
Speaker 1: Right, that's because pigeons are underrated, the overlooked. But I was in Boston for a quick little deal and it was beautiful. Little doc up there for yeah, the water out there, they got some water, some clam chowder. But I went and ate some food on the dock. It was really nice. It was when it was a little bit of solo mission. But I do remember that as well.

01:03:00
Speaker 2: That was nice.

01:03:01
Speaker 1: The Boston party went down there, departed the town. Yeah, the town was in Boston. I think it's shot it in Boston, right. I just feel like anytime I see been at.

01:03:11
Speaker 5: But thinking about the town game and just another reminder, uh sparkling up from the town.

01:03:16
Speaker 1: But watch Mobland, Watch Mobland, watch Moblind respect pigeons off its alignment or athletes too. Those are the three takeaways from this show.

01:03:27

01:04:05

01:05:46
Speaker 1: Thank you bud Light. Yeah, thank you bud Light.

01:05:49
Speaker 2: Thank you bud Light.

01:05:51
Speaker 1: We'll take seventy five million dollars seventy six four No, no, no, no, here's yeah, we'll tweet it out.

01:05:56
Speaker 5: Go ahead, here's the part you gotta read ahead. Potential career earnings at the end of this new deal.

01:06:02
Speaker 2: Oh what is it?

01:06:03
Speaker 1: Talks to me?

01:06:03
Speaker 5: Nine figgies one hundred and fifty three point nine million dollars.

01:06:11
Speaker 1: That's decent, dude, after taxes in California? Will we both.

01:06:17
Speaker 2: Like after taxes and property taxes?

01:06:22
Speaker 1: And that is fucking crazy. One of my favorite things about you is that you're a guy that when you watch you put the film on, you know just like this guy just loves football, Like take the money out of the game. There's a guy who's gonna ride or die. He's gonna play between the lines every single step. But do you ever just sit back and you will? Compton reads that to you.

01:06:38
Speaker 2: And that's the first time I've ever thought about that. So that's the first time. That's the first time I ever thought about that. That's a pretty cool moment to you, guys.

01:06:44
Speaker 1: How do you feel about the Tell.

01:06:45
Speaker 2: Me just outrageous. Like I just remember like being a kid playing pee wee football, Pop Warner football, like in small town Iowa, like with pads that are way too big, just running around smiling and laughing. And now I'm playing NFL getting paid the ships on money and bill smile, still SMI laughing, final laughing.

01:07:03
Speaker 1: You played for free?

01:07:03
Speaker 2: Wouldn't you at this part of my career now? But I think my first like five years in the NFL, I probably would have. I was just like, this is way too much funny.

01:07:12
Speaker 3: You kidd me.

01:07:12
Speaker 2: You feel like a gladiator every time you go out there, like you can't not do.

01:07:16
Speaker 5: You feel like a gladiator right now in the bus?

01:07:18
Speaker 2: No, I feel like a body.

01:07:20
Speaker 5: How's your body feel right now?

01:07:21
Speaker 2: I'm actually doing great. So the one benefit of not making the playoffs is you get an entire month off, Like I haven't had January off since twenty twenty, so, like.

01:07:34
Speaker 1: George, better, better to not make the playoffs at all.

01:07:37
Speaker 2: Yep, that is a headline, I said. The one good thing out of not making the playoffs because you get that extra month to like recover, take as take a step back, you can kind of like work a little bit easier in your training when you come back, like you just you have time, especially if you handle it the right way. So like mentally and physically, I mean, I'm light years ahead of where I was the last two years, which is pretty fun. I with surgery in the year before that, I was really messed up.

01:07:59
Speaker 1: I think the last you came on the bus, it was like a groan, it was a rib, it was a shoulder you like he was. He was making dead noises getting on the bus.

01:08:07
Speaker 2: It was brutal.

01:08:07
Speaker 1: Now he pops up. You're pulling up in your truck, honked the horn, jumping out, not big hugs. Yeah, totally different vibe listening to the plug. Then you were just in Panama.

01:08:16
Speaker 2: Yeah, I was in Panama. Just spent four days down there with the boy. T J. Hockinson fan friend.

01:08:20
Speaker 5: Of the bus, Friend of the show, Friend of the show.

01:08:22
Speaker 2: Coleus Check not on yet, but also he wants Friend of the Show. He was invited to tighten you this year. He can't make it. He has three nephews with the same birthday on the same day.

01:08:31
Speaker 1: So he declined.

01:08:32
Speaker 2: He declined, And it's crazy, right, We're really going for Christ and use Check to show up. That's what our goal was.

01:08:37
Speaker 1: Is she not in a crazy ascension right now?

01:08:39
Speaker 2: It's so cool.

01:08:40
Speaker 1: Do you know about us Check's wife? Yeah, making all the dag. Yeah, she made it tighten you one.

01:08:46
Speaker 2: Uh, that's a great idea. No, wow, dude, crazy, we're on fire Christ and I know you're listening. I know you're listening. Please no, but yeah, No, her thing is insane too, because I just remember sitting on the couch and Taylor Swift wore it in and just I just had her Instagram account pulled up and she went from like seventy five thousand followers to six hundred thousand followers in like two hours. It's insane. Yeah, just like swiping the update, Swift, you know how long she had been doing that before the Jackets City. I think, I mean she started doing it, like I want to say, she started doing it like the year before, like on Halloween, she made herself an outfit and she was like I really like sewing and like I like making stuff. That's how it started. She was making a Halloween costume.

01:09:29
Speaker 1: Damn man, and then something like that, Yeah.

01:09:32
Speaker 2: Is that crazy?

01:09:32
Speaker 1: That swift?

01:09:33
Speaker 2: Oh wow, I'm really good at this right. Yeah, Like she's fixed like me, She's fixed so much my clothing. And then all of a sudden she just has a deal, has a deal with fanatics, like all merchancy, like all was all licensing agreements. She knew whatever she wants. No shit, it's insane.

01:09:46
Speaker 1: She still fixing your clothes for you.

01:09:48
Speaker 2: She did fix something for me a couple of months ago. Did she really Carra Gucci shorts?

01:09:51
Speaker 5: Did it take time?

01:09:52
Speaker 1: Like? Were you kind of like a lower priority?

01:09:54
Speaker 2: I was definitely a lower priority. But she did do it. Yeah, she did it, and I was like I don't need I was like, no rush, yeah, but if you could fix them please, and she did. I was like, you're a queen. That is so fun.

01:10:05
Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, good for Juice. Wish he was coming because we would love to have him. Love him on the show. I think he revitalized the fullback position. Yeah, he is, because it was kind of it was faltering. Is essentially he's essentially the MGK at the fullback.

01:10:16
Speaker 5: Yeah, he's kind of remade the position. The way he can catch it out of the back.

01:10:19
Speaker 2: Can you that's unpack that one? What do you mean by that?

01:10:21
Speaker 1: MGK is MGK and Travis Barker are solely responsible for bringing back pop punk?

01:10:26
Speaker 2: There it is? Okay, cool, Thank you, Kyle. I understanding you're taking his responsible Look, yeah, I K are you talking about Like? Yeah, no, I'm on the same page with that. Yeah, do you agree with that statement? I hear what you're saying, and I don't disagree.

01:10:40
Speaker 1: Okay, you that sounds like a good insurance policy for you to look into it a little bit more.

01:10:45
Speaker 2: I need to look at it.

01:10:47
Speaker 1: Yeah, we're getting might beginning Brock already.

01:10:51
Speaker 2: Yeah, you're gonna get Brock on the bus. He was he lives in Nashville.

01:10:54
Speaker 5: Yeah, we've been trying to get him.

01:10:56
Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, dude, Right, I'm not going to flame him on the pod yet. I'll just give me a little bit.

01:11:01
Speaker 1: You wouldn't be the only one to flame him on the pod.

01:11:02
Speaker 2: Who else did?

01:11:04
Speaker 1: Oh?

01:11:04
Speaker 2: Yeah?

01:11:05
Speaker 1: Yeah, you called me about it.

01:11:06
Speaker 2: Yeah. I called you A said relax.

01:11:08
Speaker 1: And I was like, he's probably right.

01:11:09
Speaker 9: Yeah.

01:11:10
Speaker 1: It was my first year and I was like, I guess that's what you're supposed to do.

01:11:13
Speaker 2: Yeah, you got crushed.

01:11:14
Speaker 1: I did. I did, and it was Yeah, first off, shatout forty nine ers fans. They love their voice, they love making. But it was it exactly you were for them. Yes, I was making sure because you guys were doing really well. It's really easy to get complacent and for me to go and stir that pod for you guys. You're welcome you guys.

01:11:31
Speaker 2: No one believed. Yeah he's a great guy.

01:11:35
Speaker 5: Well, well did a good intention, well intended.

01:11:39
Speaker 2: Good, good intentions.

01:11:40
Speaker 1: Yeah, good intentions. I'll take it, but not only Yeah. Well mcaffe hit me and he's like, yo, what what are we doing? Yeah? And then we had him on a zoom one day and he like stopped the podcast to basically tell me how I'm sucking up, Like.

01:11:58
Speaker 2: Awesome.

01:11:59
Speaker 1: I hate his ice cream taste, but yes, what was it? I think his number one was mid chocolate chip.

01:12:05
Speaker 5: It might have been, but he's a vanilla, no vanilla, vanilla and.

01:12:10
Speaker 1: Sprinkles vanilla, sprinkles caramel. That's my mostra go to solid. But that is my go to if I if I'm getting myself a tasty treat and I have to pick out my own toppins. Those are the toppings we're gonna.

01:12:22
Speaker 2: If you go to Coldstone, what's your order.

01:12:23
Speaker 1: I'm getting Birthday Cake Remix. Love it, Yes, yes, and that is a top five. I'm not even a chocolate guy, dude. I stumbled upon that one day as a wee lad and I've ever since then was like, holy shit, dude.

01:12:35
Speaker 2: I was like when I first like when colts On first came to Iowa, I was like, oh, chocolate devotion it was, which is incredible. And then I finally tried Birthdake remix. I don't have ever had anything since. Yeah, it just doesn't ever miss.

01:12:46
Speaker 1: You Gin's Yeah. Uh yeah, No, I'm just.

01:12:48
Speaker 2: Saying anytime I go to anytime I go to Cold gooey.

01:12:51
Speaker 1: Butter cake, Yeah, goewey buttercake is such a buttercake. I thought that for a long time, but I kept saying, hey, Birthacake remix, it's number one. It's number one. He's like, hey, this coody buttercake. I had a taste, but I wasn't open minded about it. Yeah. Finally that I taste it with an open mind, I think it is never one.

01:13:06
Speaker 2: I think I don't know if it's Jenny's or another ice cream brand. But someone has like a Rouper Float flavor, and that was it was diabolical. My chef got it for me and he made a Rooper float with Ripper Float ice cream.

01:13:19
Speaker 1: That was. I don't know if I'm trying to think of Jenny's roster right now, I don't know. There's so many the roster they were with their names, their ingredients. They do take a lot of liberties. They get a little aggressive. We do. But it's like, hey, gooey buttercake, you can live on that for the rest of your life.

01:13:31
Speaker 2: Probably, Yeah, you really could.

01:13:33
Speaker 1: It's like it's like a band that makes like a huge hit, like Plain White Tea's here the Delilah. You can live on that song forever. I feel like making a little comeback recently, you think because.

01:13:46
Speaker 2: You guys that hate that song.

01:13:48
Speaker 1: I love that so I love that song.

01:13:50
Speaker 2: No, who is? I think my wife hates that song.

01:13:52
Speaker 1: She's got great taste.

01:13:54
Speaker 2: No, there's like, how's your how's your mental health doing my mental health right now?

01:13:59
Speaker 7: No?

01:14:00
Speaker 1: Great?

01:14:00
Speaker 2: Four and a half hours asleep.

01:14:01
Speaker 1: I think my wife hates that song?

01:14:03
Speaker 2: Yeah, no, she does.

01:14:05
Speaker 1: Who else said something about brod Oh that's right.

01:14:08
Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm the wheels are turning. I shoul probably open up this energy drink.

01:14:12
Speaker 1: By the way, I think we should just take good a pot luck. Maybe it's right there, but we can all just put them there. So Georgian taste all three.

01:14:17
Speaker 2: Ooh, okay, why did you take the great point? I thought you gave me the great point you.

01:14:21
Speaker 5: Said you did.

01:14:23
Speaker 1: That's yeah.

01:14:24
Speaker 5: Do you want the grape one?

01:14:26
Speaker 2: I mean at this point we're past it.

01:14:28
Speaker 5: This is another Anheuser Busch product right here?

01:14:30
Speaker 2: Oh?

01:14:30
Speaker 1: Is it anheer Bush first formed Dana White?

01:14:33
Speaker 5: So this is part of the fan right now, the trilogy.

01:14:36
Speaker 2: That's cool. Cheers.

01:14:40
Speaker 1: So do you want to try the grape.

01:14:42
Speaker 2: No, you stole it. You can still take a drink, dude, Look your dad. You need it more than I do, thank you.

01:14:48
Speaker 1: That is but four and a half hours asleep coming from Panama. Yeah, when you look at life, possible lifetime murderings of what was one hundred fifty seven nine one hundred percent though? Right when you look at that, Yeah, you signed the contract, you did. Yes, let's have a little conversation about what nice little juicy gift.

01:15:08
Speaker 2: Did you get yourself this time?

01:15:10
Speaker 1: Nothing Oh this is yeah, this is the third one. It's kind of getting redundant.

01:15:14
Speaker 2: Well this time, this time, I'm trying to remodel my house, and so I was like, I'm good, I'm gonna chill on this one. Yes, let's let this one similar.

01:15:20
Speaker 1: What's your favorite luxury in life?

01:15:23
Speaker 2: You have a ghost on the bus? Yes, sick.

01:15:27
Speaker 5: What's your favorite luxury in life?

01:15:28
Speaker 1: And I think we all have the same answer.

01:15:31
Speaker 2: Is this something I can buy? Or no? Because I end your money.

01:15:35
Speaker 1: On something you look at and you're like, this is worth spending my money on?

01:15:39
Speaker 3: Mmm.

01:15:42
Speaker 2: Anything on my property really is one of my biggest things.

01:15:47
Speaker 1: That was a deep one. Huh.

01:15:50
Speaker 5: Anything that anything on your property that you can spend money on, Like give us an example.

01:15:53
Speaker 2: Building a football field at my house, building a workout facility, putting up a fifty foot American flagpole. That's probably my favorite purchase of my property I've made. My wife really likes that one.

01:16:04
Speaker 1: How big is that flag?

01:16:05
Speaker 2: Pretty fucking musive? Yeah, it's a right when you pull in, it's just right next to the football field. So that's the only thing you can fucking see that's hot.

01:16:13
Speaker 1: That's got to fire you up.

01:16:14
Speaker 2: It does I saw it last night. We have lights pointing up at it, and I was just almost got out of the car. I was like, oh God, it's so beautiful. So that's yeah, that's one of my favorite purchases.

01:16:24
Speaker 7: Hm hmmm.

01:16:24
Speaker 2: I mean I'm about to buy an airstream, which is pretty cool.

01:16:28
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's an airstream trailer like the silver That's right. We had. We had one, gave it away for pennies on the dollar.

01:16:36
Speaker 5: Yeah, we had to get rid of it.

01:16:37
Speaker 1: I had to.

01:16:38
Speaker 2: Yeah, there's there's one. There's like one of my neighbors has one. They've used it five times. It's like brand new, and they're My wife trop pad. She was like, can we buy that? I was like, it's really not that expensive either, so I was like, yeah, buy it, throw it on property.

01:16:49
Speaker 1: Is it a new new airstream or is it like one of those like seventy models that I've been well taken care of.

01:16:53
Speaker 2: I think it's a new new one.

01:16:55
Speaker 1: Those are nice.

01:16:56
Speaker 2: Yeah, it's she says, it's within like the last five years and the guys only use it like five or five six times.

01:17:00
Speaker 1: What you going to do with it? You can go camping? I camping?

01:17:03
Speaker 2: No, I want to put on my property, so when I have people over there, it can be like a fun little getaway on one of my property spots.

01:17:08
Speaker 1: Strings of lights.

01:17:10
Speaker 2: Yeah, like I already have a tiny house in one part of my property. Put an air stream on the other side. Put some lights up. Now you have a date night.

01:17:17
Speaker 1: I like that move, George.

01:17:18
Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I don't want to leave my fan of that move. I don't like leaving my property very much.

01:17:22
Speaker 1: You're out there plenty plenty of ways.

01:17:24
Speaker 2: I mean, twenty five minutes from Broadway's not bad.

01:17:27
Speaker 1: That is what do you say it like that? It doesn't sound so bad. No, But if I'm driving from my house, it's thirty five to forty minutes.

01:17:33
Speaker 2: I know. But it's what doesn't make sense to me about that. It's like, you're closer than Broadway is, but there's no like easy way to get to.

01:17:38
Speaker 1: Your Yeah, getting the highway, it's so pa get.

01:17:42
Speaker 2: Into Green Hills from my place? Is the absoluce?

01:17:44
Speaker 5: Do you guys end up working out that uh vasper equipment?

01:17:47
Speaker 1: Yeah?

01:17:47
Speaker 2: Vast forgot?

01:17:48
Speaker 1: Yeah? How about that fumbled back? Yeah by me?

01:17:51
Speaker 5: How did that work?

01:17:52
Speaker 1: How did that end up? Your boy came and picked it up? But I'll tell you what it was. It was a hassle it, yeah, because it's all my fault. Yeah, that's but he would text me, hey, when can I come pick it up? And then I'd go A week would go by, like when's this dude fucking picking this up? And go look at my text like, oh he texted me. I gotta text them back, and then it'll be a scheduled thing, and then I go back into my zoned out world for another ten days yep, and be holy shit, Okay, I gotta tak this guy back. Finally he came and got it, and it's all taking care of me. Do you mean Brandon Brandon, that's your boy.

01:18:21
Speaker 2: Yeah, the big guy.

01:18:22
Speaker 1: Yes, I met him. I actually I opened the doors, like, hey, it's right up there. I gotta go to his I was probably come to get a pod, so I just booked right away. Good people, What are you doing with two Vaspers?

01:18:32
Speaker 2: What am I gunna do?

01:18:33
Speaker 1: Yeah?

01:18:33
Speaker 2: I'm just naturally boost my tesasone.

01:18:36
Speaker 1: Twice double the test.

01:18:38
Speaker 2: Yes I did. I walked in the barn this morning. I didn't even notice it.

01:18:40
Speaker 1: That's hilarious.

01:18:42
Speaker 5: What are your what are your tea levels at right now, I couldn't tell you.

01:18:44
Speaker 1: You don't look into it at all.

01:18:47
Speaker 2: I do a blood test out in Panama every time I go down there, but I didn't look at the results yet. Should I pull it out on the pod? We can go through my bloodwork.

01:18:53
Speaker 1: I would just like to know your Yeah, yeah, well you probably I'm thinking the last time you tested and remembered what were.

01:19:01
Speaker 2: They couldn't tell you. I know I was. I think I was low though, Yeah. I think it was like at the end of a season. Yeah, I was struggling. I was struggle busting at that point. I was like last year when I right before I came in the pod and I was like broken, Yeah, my tea levels were very low.

01:19:14
Speaker 5: How long are you wanting to play?

01:19:16
Speaker 2: Oh until literally till I don't have fun anymore?

01:19:20
Speaker 1: To the wheels fall off, He's a wheels fall off guy.

01:19:22
Speaker 2: Yeah, Or if Claire looks at me and goes, you kind of look like shit out there, you should retire and I'll be all right.

01:19:26
Speaker 5: That's probably how it happened.

01:19:28
Speaker 2: Yeah, that really, Yeah, I don't know. I think I like, I think if I get to like I'm thirty five and it hurts Toget like it hurts just to put pat pants on in the morning. I think I'll be like, ah, this isn't that much fun anymore, and then I'll have a conversation with myself. But no, I'm feeling great right now.

01:19:44
Speaker 1: Have you thought about the other side?

01:19:48
Speaker 2: Not like I haven't like day day dreamed about it anything like that, but like, definitely I'm aware that there's potential opportunities and like doors that could like be open, and so I'm just excited about those that stuff.

01:19:58
Speaker 1: Oh, can we talk about any sure? WW?

01:20:02
Speaker 2: I would love to do WW.

01:20:04
Speaker 1: Is it pretty safe to say that once Georg Chidl's done playing football there's a WWE contractor waiting for him.

01:20:09
Speaker 2: I think there's definitely opportunity within that world, and I would love nothing more than to be a part of it. So this is my only, like, my only question mark with that is I so much love being a fan of WW, Like I don't want to Like, I would only do WW if I like bot a ring and practiced my ass off for a long time, like for a while, so I wouldn't look like an idiot out there because I've been in a w W or in like three times, Like I don't know what I'm doing out there, Like I have an understanding of how it works, but like I haven't performed. I haven't moon salted off the top rope at wrestleming like that McAfee did, like what Logan Paul does.

01:20:42
Speaker 1: Logan Paul incredible athletes.

01:20:46
Speaker 2: Also, I met him for the first time. Could not have been nicer, really could not have been nicer. It was here in Nashville when they were here. He had he had a talked to him for like five minutes afterwards. Could have been nicer to me and all my friends. Yeah, the internet, it's not entirely right about you.

01:21:00
Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, those boys do catch bullets all the time.

01:21:04
Speaker 5: They do a good job with it. I mean some of it is self induced.

01:21:07
Speaker 1: Ye get the game, they really yeah, they realize when it's time to let's get some negative attention, right Yeah.

01:21:13
Speaker 2: Oh yeah, they're so good at it.

01:21:14
Speaker 1: It's incredible plastic.

01:21:15
Speaker 2: They are very smart.

01:21:17
Speaker 5: What are some other opportunities.

01:21:21
Speaker 2: I feel like it? Yeah, I feel like at some point someone's gonna want me to talk football someone, dude. Actually, this is my drip. Do you guys, uh, do you know what space marines is? Anybody space Marines, Space Marines. You know what Warhammer is. You've heard of that, Yeah, yeah, Warhammers. So like Warhammer is like this vast universe that none of us really know about. I think, like it's not like Dungeon and Dragons, but I think about like that kind of cult following. It just has it's like following. And then they finally made a video game about it, and basically think of like you're playing Gears of War, like that's the vibe of the video game, except it's like way more. I mean it's it was released last year, so it looks amaze in you go to different planets. It's fucking insane. Well, I fell in love with that last year with Eric Sobert and we used to play and they have all these awesome tagg's like the Emperor's lde is my torch, Like you fucking work for this, Like you're working for the Emperor stuff like that. It's really fun. You're just Jack dude. And he was Murder Murder, Murder Aliens. Henry Cavell is a huge fan of it, and he's trying to make it into an actual TV show, and so I'm trying to get into the as an extra into the TV show. Well I do. I could be an extra on the side getting eaten by an alien for all I care.

01:22:31
Speaker 1: Like you're into it that much. You just want to be a part of the I want.

01:22:34
Speaker 2: To be a part of it, dude, because, like I'm telling you, play the video game, it's like playing classic Halo three, the campaign with all the awesome movie cut scenes. Like that's what it's like. It's just I felt like a kid again playing video games. I was like, this game is amazing, so much fun, and it's just insanely violent. Space Marines.

01:22:49
Speaker 1: Space Marines.

01:22:50
Speaker 2: Yeah, Space Marines too. They came out with one a couple of years ago that I'd never played, but I think actually there was like six or seven years ago. But the new one is just so much fun. But Henry Cavill like, we'll just post on his Instagram like, yeah, I had thirty kills a day in my game because you played on mine now too, Really, like, dude, why are you such a big fit of this?

01:23:07
Speaker 1: Sounds like something we pulled that up on the monitork. We checked that out, dude.

01:23:10
Speaker 2: The last mission is like two hours and thirty of the minutes or movie cut scenes, it's incredible.

01:23:16
Speaker 1: God, I love how much of a big kid you are.

01:23:18
Speaker 11: Dude, Oh dude, right, Like for like you get so you get to what you get, Like you get like a couple of different assault rifles, a couple different snipers that's in your cavil, a couple different a cover, couple different snipers, and then everybody you get like either a like a sword, dual wielding swords, a giant sledgehammer.

01:23:38
Speaker 2: For like, it's insane. Just have been gameplayed.

01:23:41
Speaker 1: It sounds like similar to h dude, you played Diablo yeah on PC as a kid.

01:23:44
Speaker 2: It's just without like all the extras, Like this is just a straightforward campaign. Like there's not like you have to build and you'll have to change your armor and shit like that.

01:23:51
Speaker 1: Got you see, I am a sucker for the change the armor of the adding new skills.

01:23:56
Speaker 2: Type and space marines too. That's the first one. Georgia.

01:23:58
Speaker 7: Have you seen the guy on YouTube who makes his own animations for Warhammer forty thousand?

01:24:02
Speaker 1: Yes?

01:24:03
Speaker 2: And they like they should be on They are in real insane. It's so good.

01:24:10
Speaker 1: Do you have any idea what's going on right now?

01:24:12
Speaker 5: No clue, but I'm enjoying it.

01:24:13
Speaker 1: I'm lost. Yeah, I'm lost.

01:24:16
Speaker 5: I'm enjoying learning about it.

01:24:17
Speaker 1: Space I take something. But this I'm not a huge fan of the name Space Marins.

01:24:22
Speaker 2: Okay, so Warhammer is the overall brand, got you right, space Marines. So like this the storyline and like the universe of Space Marines is like over the course of like just call it a billion years, and so the Space Marines are part of it. There's like one little part. Like that's what he is right now, He's a space Marine.

01:24:39
Speaker 1: I mean, this game looks bad, it looks badass, and it definitely has Gears of War vibes. Is Warhammer's affiliated with World of Warcraft?

01:24:48
Speaker 2: I don't, I don't know, I don't know. But this cool thing is it's like Hordes. It's like zombie hordes. They just run at you and you have all these insane guns and stuff.

01:24:55
Speaker 1: Now, is this you're just playing like a solo campaign.

01:24:58
Speaker 2: This one's just solo campaign. That's like the it's your second mission. But so like you see the guys blinking red. I don't know if you can see that, Yeah, see them blining red. So if you have your sword out, you're out there and you have these like assassination animations got you. Yeah, that's what makes it really fun. But so you play with it's like three player co op. It's a fucking yeah.

01:25:17
Speaker 1: This could be what this guy, this could be worth doing.

01:25:22
Speaker 5: They just got to pull out his hammer right now.

01:25:23
Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't really want to. I don't care about the mini gun man. I want to see you slice and dice and fools anyways. But that's space rats. That's one thing I've been into.

01:25:30
Speaker 1: So you want to be in that. So essentially a little bit of acting also.

01:25:35
Speaker 2: Uh would just be a part of some special things would be really fun for me.

01:25:38
Speaker 1: But you're not very interested in, Like you don't want to be an actor. You don't want to go and do lines and going to that world or maybe dip your toe.

01:25:46
Speaker 2: I would like, I said, like, if the door is open, I'm I'm chilling, like I'm down to do stuff.

01:25:51
Speaker 1: Yeah, Max, right, Or.

01:25:55
Speaker 2: Get onto a Viking show. That'd be pretty easy.

01:25:58
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that'd be very easy for you, very easily. As long has the TV been up there, this has been here forever it.

01:26:06
Speaker 2: Was mounted, it wasn't mounted.

01:26:08
Speaker 9: This is nice.

01:26:09
Speaker 2: Look at you guys like this.

01:26:11
Speaker 5: We got a couple of upgrades around yah.

01:26:12
Speaker 1: Yeah, we had interns.

01:26:13
Speaker 2: Yeah, the interns. I can't get over. That's awesome.

01:26:16
Speaker 1: Yeah, how bad ass is that?

01:26:17
Speaker 2: You have five eighteen year olds in there? Well, in there a kid in the Cardinals T shirt, probably Coop.

01:26:25
Speaker 1: Probably Coop.

01:26:26
Speaker 2: We'll yeah, what's going on?

01:26:29
Speaker 1: You know?

01:26:29
Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I don't need to hang out the NFC West guys. You know that's crazy.

01:26:33
Speaker 1: I mean the Cardinals though, Like, how how concerned are you about the Cardinals? I feel like they've never been a threat to you.

01:26:37
Speaker 2: I know, they put forty six on us last year in the last game.

01:26:42
Speaker 1: This year, they could be all right, this could yeah that they do? You guys had a uncharacteristically really bad.

01:26:47
Speaker 2: Oh yeah, no, we were terrible a lot of injuries, but on top of that, we just weren't very good. But no, what the Cardinals do on defense with their new their head coach, because wasn't their head coach? Was he the office cordator, the de cornor of the Eagles that they hired?

01:26:59
Speaker 1: I do you not know the answer that question?

01:27:03
Speaker 2: Yeah, he was. I think it was the d c s like what he brought to the Cardinals and how they like let Buddha Baker kind of just he literally just plays what he wants to do. The whole defense is base, so Budda Baker can just freestyle. It's insane, and he's like one of the best freestyling players I've ever seen.

01:27:19
Speaker 1: It's impressive to see guys who were able to just kind of do whatever they want. J. J. Watt was one of those guys. Baker it up, I see what's going through.

01:27:29
Speaker 3: It wasn't.

01:27:30
Speaker 5: It wasn't. I'll be honest, it was not factoring in my brain at all. I heard JP's last I know as a JP as him right there.

01:27:42
Speaker 1: I'll get mine, Buddha. I'm gonna figure out a way I'm going to assault Budda Baker. At one point in my life.

01:27:48
Speaker 2: He was a decoordinator. Yes, but like what he did with their defense, and like what they're doing, it's like it's a very complicated defense where the whole thing is just disguised as disguised disguises, and then their guys are smart enough to handle it, and they have a really good secondary too, so and then I think they just added to their D line so they have a chance to be really good. The rams are going to be really good. I don't know about the Seahawks. I mean they got Cooper Cup and I got Eric Sobbert up there. Who's your quarterback, Sam Darnold?

01:28:15
Speaker 1: That's right?

01:28:16
Speaker 2: Yeah, but uh you no, I think the NFC West would be incredibly competitive this year. It'll be fun.

01:28:22
Speaker 5: But Baker can also rush the passer.

01:28:29
Speaker 2: Did any pancake?

01:28:30
Speaker 1: Well, Taylor?

01:28:32
Speaker 2: Taylor?

01:28:33
Speaker 1: That makes it way worse, George.

01:28:37
Speaker 2: Oh, I'll see you right there, Doug.

01:28:40
Speaker 1: You guys want to bring up the worst day of my life.

01:28:43
Speaker 5: Yeah, with one hand.

01:28:45
Speaker 1: You guys want to bring up the worst day of my life right now? Yeah, that was the worst day of my life.

01:28:49
Speaker 2: Yeah, I remember I watched the low lights.

01:28:53
Speaker 1: Thanks. Did you see any highlights?

01:28:57
Speaker 2: Yeah? I did, there were none. The other word, you have the side a couple outside zones you're great on.

01:29:04
Speaker 5: So he is familiar with your game.

01:29:06
Speaker 1: Oh so he understands.

01:29:07
Speaker 2: Yeah, I do know.

01:29:09
Speaker 1: The George is like, uh, spoiled with his left tackle because he has the goat of all goats, He's got their goats. So I go there, Yeah, some of the stuff I've done, right, It's like, yeah, but you get to watch Trent Williams every single day, who is just above and beyond.

01:29:25
Speaker 2: Still really good at football, isn't that crazy? Yeah?

01:29:27
Speaker 1: Oh my god, bro, he's such a massive human being.

01:29:31
Speaker 2: It's great. So he's his nickname is the silverback Gorilla and then the silverb gorillae. Why. Yeah, probably because he has eight silver bacrilla tattoos on his body. His entire back is a giant gorilla just sitting there like it's just a massive gorilla.

01:29:46
Speaker 1: That is wild.

01:29:47
Speaker 5: Yeah.

01:29:47
Speaker 2: Try to see if you have his back tat. Yeah, you got this ship in college. I'm pretty sure, no doubt, so he has. So he has no space left on his back, so that's all tatted at this point. Yeah. I go to that one. Yeah, and it's it says silverback on his back like a jersey.

01:30:06
Speaker 1: The chain flipped around to oh you know he's like that, get this photo quick.

01:30:09
Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, Tred's different.

01:30:11
Speaker 5: With this little bucket.

01:30:12
Speaker 2: But yeah, but I'll post a photo Trent, And like I like to use like emojis when I post photos with my teammates sometimes when I'm in season, and like, so I post like it'll be like me Trent and Juice, Like I post like a joker card the juice box and then a gorilla. Like ten people coming like that's racist. I'm like, no, it's not.

01:30:30
Speaker 9: That's just that's.

01:30:31
Speaker 1: Literally, I can't say that you're white.

01:30:33
Speaker 2: You can't say self proclaimed, self proclaimed.

01:30:36
Speaker 5: You hit the joker card, you hold the juice box, and you'll be like, oh, I'm like, Internet's gonna take this one weird.

01:30:45
Speaker 2: Yeah, here comes ten d ms from really angry people.

01:30:49
Speaker 5: Trent, I love calling you silverback, but do you realize do you understand how you kind of put us in a tough spot?

01:30:54
Speaker 2: I don't think I posted for like two years because yeah it's been a minute. Yeah it's been in a minute. Look at that fucking NFL photo.

01:31:02
Speaker 9: That's tough?

01:31:02
Speaker 1: Is he? Uh? Is the best football player you've ever seen?

01:31:05
Speaker 2: Oh?

01:31:09
Speaker 1: Because forty nine ers have an arsenal? Your roster is crazy.

01:31:12
Speaker 2: Yeah, we have five first and All Pro players within the last just based on the last two years, it's pretty sick. Well, they they don't do fullbacks, right, juice, because then they took fullbacks off All Pro, didn't they? Or do they just put it.

01:31:26
Speaker 1: Back on that. We're the wrong guys to ask.

01:31:28
Speaker 2: Yeah, I thought you guys are like in touch.

01:31:30
Speaker 1: We just played man play.

01:31:32
Speaker 2: Also, you also talk about it.

01:31:33
Speaker 1: We talk about football twice a week once well in the fall, yeah, twice week in the fall in the fall. Yeah yeah, yeah, we kind of don't stop talking about football.

01:31:42
Speaker 2: Yeah exactly.

01:31:44
Speaker 1: But like, yeah, so Juice, we could just assume it's an all pro guy, just six guys.

01:31:48
Speaker 2: Uh yeah, no, Trip Ones, I think is probably the most talented player I've ever played with, like effortless. Yeah, it's just crazy, dude.

01:31:57
Speaker 1: Yeah.

01:31:58
Speaker 2: Like one of my favorite things ever was twenty nine. No, I wasn't twenty nineteen, like twenty twenty training camp or twenty twenty one when him and Bosa just went out. It was pretty fun to watch in training camp, that was.

01:32:07
Speaker 1: Yeah. I heard a story about Joe Staley, Like Bosa called Staley and was like, how do I beat Trent Williams?

01:32:16
Speaker 2: Probably did, That's how good Trent Williams is. I just remember Boso beat him on like a one on one rep, like yeah that pick. Like he beat him on like one or two one on one reps. And in twenty twenty, we had Jordan Reid on the team tight him from Washington who played with Trent, and he was like, no, man, that shit crazy man. I ever see Trent lowse man crazy. I love Jordan Reid.

01:32:38
Speaker 5: Dude, he's the best man again. Is he gonna be out tighten.

01:32:40
Speaker 2: You this year? He might be there. I gotta call him. He he said he was gonna swing through. We got Jeremy Shockey this year. That'll be really fun. Oh no, ship, Yeah, yeah, that'll be a good one.

01:32:50
Speaker 1: That's fucking odd.

01:32:51
Speaker 2: I know, get him the best. Yeah, you should ask. He'll be here. He gets in Monday. I think, dude, the man he is.

01:33:00
Speaker 5: Just those moments when the helmet comes off and he just keeps.

01:33:04
Speaker 2: They just watched watching Jeremy Shocky highlight reel. It's like one of my favorite things. Yes, dude, Hey, have you guys seen those those tiktoks where it's like it's showing off like a highlight and then all of a sudden, it's like Louke and the guys.

01:33:19
Speaker 1: Who's next?

01:33:19
Speaker 2: That's Who's That is one of the funniest.

01:33:22
Speaker 1: That is one of my favorite accounts to He.

01:33:25
Speaker 2: Didn't want with Jeremy Shockey and I think I saved and I watched it pregame like last year a couple of times.

01:33:30
Speaker 1: His Luke ones all time, He's got another one. Oh he does a J Cutler one is.

01:33:39
Speaker 2: So good when he's running a truck sticky.

01:33:42
Speaker 1: Look at my guy here. Look, Yeah he's uh, he is fucking funny. I think he did a Compton one, didn't he he did?

01:33:56
Speaker 5: Wasn't going to bring it up?

01:33:57
Speaker 1: Was he gonna bring it up? Here we go? Adding he did one on you too. I was a piece of one, but I wasn't like the wasn't the vocal point. He goes, look at my guy here. I've watched it seventy times. My guy here, get right there, my quarterback after the Sherman hit. And yeah, that guy does a great job. He needs he needs to produce more content is what he needs to do.

01:34:18
Speaker 2: Yeah, he I mean, you could do everybody in the NFL. He's so funny.

01:34:21
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's awesome.

01:34:22
Speaker 2: Like go do Trey pal right, Yeah, like any to Ed Reid John.

01:34:27
Speaker 1: We had Troy on the podcast and his demeanor, watching what he did on the field and him coming in but like, hey guys, how you doing? Everyone? All right? What a nice guy? Who's this?

01:34:39
Speaker 2: Yeah?

01:34:39
Speaker 1: Well, sorry you're wrong, who's this?

01:34:45
Speaker 2: Where am I right now?

01:34:46
Speaker 1: Yeah?

01:34:48
Speaker 5: You talked about admissions of talking football like there is a friend, uh, a friendly local show that you could join.

01:34:57
Speaker 2: When it's over. Yeah, oh boys, I'm I'm for the boys at all times. Trust man.

01:35:04
Speaker 1: It will be a bidding war, right, that's the scary part.

01:35:07
Speaker 2: That is the scary part, potentially.

01:35:10
Speaker 1: The pirates ship. Yeah, everyone's gonna go after George. Yeah. You know the best part about that is we'll find out where George were you truly?

01:35:18
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, because.

01:35:19
Speaker 1: We know money's not the issue.

01:35:21
Speaker 5: Well, alignment shouldn't be the issue.

01:35:22
Speaker 1: No, Alignment's definitely not.

01:35:24
Speaker 5: I mean, this is probably the most aligned he would be with any brand, you would think, so of the hitters and shoppers out there, and it's local, yeah.

01:35:32
Speaker 2: I mean, and we're both by light athletes.

01:35:34
Speaker 1: Yeah, we are hmm.

01:35:37
Speaker 2: Interesting interesting place to be, very very interesting, interesting, literally very interesting.

01:35:43
Speaker 1: Do you ever talking about playing to the wheels fall off? Do you ever worry about your body like it's over and it's all said and done.

01:35:50
Speaker 2: I think I had that like dilemma where I was like thinking about it a lot. I think specifically after the twenty twenty season because I broke my foot, I got sucked up a little bit, and I was like damn, like I heard that to be on this ship, and that's why I kind of like I dove so heavy the stem cells. Like I do a brain scan once a year. Everything's good, happy to report, that's awesome. That's awesome.

01:36:12
Speaker 1: A whole lot of clouds up there.

01:36:13
Speaker 2: Nope, doing pretty well up there. H Yeah, we're doing good up there. But like I try my best, is like to stay on top as much as I possibly can, like whether it's a vasper that's healthy for you, red light therapy, like as many IVY as I can, just to keep my body up. So like I think I'm doing a pretty good job of it. So am I worried about it at some point. It's gonna affect us at some point, but just try to get ahead of it as best as I can.

01:36:38
Speaker 1: How much do you think you put in your body a year? Money? Money do you put into just keeping your body right?

01:36:44
Speaker 2: If we're talking like some ivs.

01:36:47
Speaker 1: Everything the vasper vesper doesn't cost anything after was just buy it. But you understand the training the.

01:36:52
Speaker 2: I mean in seasons in season anywhere from like one hundred and fifty to two hundred thousand dollars per season, especially like the last three years at least and then I mean total. Yeah, it's with everything I bought too. I had like another two hundred k on top of that too.

01:37:09
Speaker 5: You're towards you flirt, Yeah, you're flirting with half a million dollars a year.

01:37:13
Speaker 2: Ah, call it two fifty at the most, because like a lot of things I've bought, and no, I don't to pay for them anymore.

01:37:18
Speaker 1: But I know you just got that brand scam. But if you talk about the numbers you just did, he said instants in two hundred.

01:37:22
Speaker 2: And I would say in season about one fift two hundred and then like out of the season, I mean I did. I did a marketing to deal with my stem cells, Like, I don't pay with these for those anymore. So that saves me. That saves me a ton of money because those are expensive but worth it, So like that saves me a chunk. Like I do stuff like that. I try to do deals with people that I know I'm going to use all the time.

01:37:41
Speaker 1: Yes, brands that align with what you're trying to do with your life.

01:37:43
Speaker 2: Yeah, be as healthy as possibly can be. How did you get a vasper for free?

01:37:51
Speaker 1: I can't tell you that.

01:37:52
Speaker 2: That's fine.

01:37:53
Speaker 1: Actually I don't know there is like it was like seven years ago, maybe five. I have no idea, but let's literally I was like at Exos in Arizona. They talked to me about the the BFR added distawstro, the pituitary gland, the whole thing, and I'm like, I gotta have one of these. So I think I went through them and they got me to the distributor and then we did a deal.

01:38:14
Speaker 2: Sick.

01:38:14
Speaker 1: But they're like, you can't resell it for commercial use, And I think I used it three total times. It's tough, three total times to the point where I'm like, I know this is good for me, but I never like took the time to do it, Like yeah, look at the protocols and all that, and it just bumms me out. Bumms me out that and buy in because the way you talk about it, I'm like, man, I probably should have done that.

01:38:33
Speaker 2: As soon as I get back from like I do it a little bit during OTA's, but as soon as I get back and like the summer, it's like it's like my cardio every day at the end of my workout, so like I'll go, I'll lift, I'll run my routes, run hills, and then I do like a twenty minute master session four days a week, no matter what, no shit, I love it. You feel dude. You also it knocks you the fuck out at night unconscious. You sleep so well and you have wild dreams too. It's awesome.

01:38:57
Speaker 1: I like bas systems doing a whole bunch of different things.

01:38:59
Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, I'm not the main selling point is you blow huge loads.

01:39:07
Speaker 1: Oh for real, that's what That's what I'm gonna eat that. Yeah.

01:39:12
Speaker 5: Yeah, So like what kind of loads were talking?

01:39:14
Speaker 1: It sounds like huge ones.

01:39:15
Speaker 2: Will huge ones? I know. I was like, I was like, how do I sit now? I just got to say it, like that's how it was sold, like to like players, it's like, look at boost your disaster and you sleep really well, you're gonna feel great, and you also blow huge loads. I was like, oh, that's bullshit, not bullshit. And then that rumor start going around and so like in like twenty nineteen, do you like they're like six or seven coaches that were doing it all the time, Like who was it?

01:39:38
Speaker 1: Uh?

01:39:38
Speaker 2: Like Matt you know, Mike, Mike Lafler like one of our OC's. He was in there all the time, just pumping away at it going to town at like post practice, he was the first guy and like he was jogging off the field, so he beat all the players to it.

01:39:49
Speaker 1: That is hilarious.

01:39:50
Speaker 2: It's hilarious, dude. Yeah, that that's what it looks like. Yeah, yeah, that's yeah. This is tough for people listening on Spotify and Apple Music and yeah, like what the fuck. Yeah, well you can google it, you can google vasper. But basically it's like a recumbent bike that you sit on. It has BFR, which is blood flow restriction, so like the things that they take your blood pressure with that pumps up, it cuts off your blood flow. You put down your biceps and then on your quads and you basically just do like a twenty minute workout. I think it's like it's called it's a twenty one minute workout, but you can kind of customize it and you basically just sit there and pump and like it has sprints, it has calm, so it's like highs and lows. Basically go through this workout. But the thing is the chair you're sitting on, and then the cuffs on your legs and on your arms, and then you put just like a very loose one on your neck. There's no pressure there, it's all ice water, So it's like you're chilling your body while you're doing a hard workout. It tricks your body and the thinking that's that's a very old one, but it tricks your body and the thing that you just did a super super hard workout, and then it just like replenishes your body. So like it thinks you just did like a two and a half hour workout, So then it replenishes your body to try to like recover, but you actually just did like a fifteen minute workout.

01:40:55
Speaker 1: Yeah, like the biohackers out there are gonna ruin me. But like there's a two tier glenn you have, and it the tricking part makes your body think you've done a huge workout, so it releases.

01:41:05
Speaker 2: That's on your neck, so it's like a little strap goes around your neck. It's it's so cold, and it like tricks your body and so then it releases all these.

01:41:12
Speaker 1: Yeah, because your body thinks you have all this extra inflation, inflation, inflammation, inflamation. So it's like goes to help tenants, helps joints, helps muscle recovery, everything, and it like basically pumps the stopster on your body, so recovery is way faster, muscle growth and all those things. Yeah, it's all doing a minimal like relatively, it's cool too.

01:41:30
Speaker 2: The vasper the guy who invented it, his office is less than ten minutes away from our facility. Oh really they used to be on a NASA base or a military base. Yeah, it's him.

01:41:41
Speaker 1: Now do you have the Do you have the pad you lay on after?

01:41:44
Speaker 2: I do have it? I don't. It just depends if I have time for it or not. Like after I've done like my four hour workout and then I do that, my wife's like, can we like do something now, like you've been working out for five hours something like yeah, yeah, I'll.

01:41:57
Speaker 1: Skip the paing thing about laying on a pad, a cooling pad for ten ten minutes, Yeah, it's like yeah, all the other four and a half hours, that's totally finne Yeah minutes.

01:42:05
Speaker 2: I'm just like, nah, I'm done.

01:42:06
Speaker 1: That's the brain of an athlete, a nutshell. Folks.

01:42:08
Speaker 2: Is it crazy?

01:42:09
Speaker 1: How old are you now?

01:42:10
Speaker 2: Thirty one?

01:42:10
Speaker 5: So thirty one years old? Like what does when you're at when you're home for the summer and stuff, like, what are your what are your what's an average day look like during the week for you.

01:42:18
Speaker 2: Let's see, we'll start my training stuff will start next week after so we have tied a new Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. I'll probably trade Monday morning and I'll go like Thursday Friday. But usually it's a I think we start we have like breakfast at eight thirty to nine, and then our workouts like nine to fifteen that we start with a lyft unless like CJ. Bethor wants to throw before the lift, and then we just bump it a little bit. But it's like an hour and a half lift whether it's upper or lower with my guy Josh Cuthbert, and we have like ten to twenty guys in the summer. I like the summer because like we get Titans guys and stuff like that. Like I'll have like eighteen to twenty five guys in my gym. It's hoot. You guys would love it if you ever showed up for it. I've only invited you for five years. Yeah, friends of the pod.

01:43:02
Speaker 1: Sick friends of the pod. We need to be friends at the bar.

01:43:04
Speaker 2: Yeah, you need to be friends at the barn. The far left pick is actually what it used to look like. And then yeah, so that's where we used to train was in like the horse bar and then I built a whole new facility next to that. To the left spots by Technogym. Shout out them. They're fantastic too from Italy. But Sorr, I work out and then we take like fifteen minutes. We go up to the field. My speed guy agility guy Jeremy Holt shows up for that one. Puts us through like any type of linear workout or like an agility workout like cone drills and stuff like that. Work A lot of releases do that drill for It usually takes like an hour to an hour fifteen and then we run routes afterwards, like two to three days a week. I try to run by by the end of July, I'm running thirty routes three days of a week minimum. We gought up to like forty five last year. It was great because I just like, there's nothing worse than going into training camp and you don't feel like you're in shape.

01:43:59
Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a horrible feeling. When the helmet goes on, you're like this, even this is difficult.

01:44:04
Speaker 2: Next starting to hurt, dude, shout out, shout, Hut, these guys, these are my Iowa boys, washed up walk Ons, washed up of walk On. Yeah. So that's Drake Click, who's also I hired him to be my head of security. There's David Bactiari. He's a stud, but wash up walk Ons. They have a podcast it's three dudes are all walk Ons. So that's yeah, Ward and Clover. He was a long snapper on the left, safety on the right. And now they just host a podcast and talk iow football. It's pretty funny. They do a good job with it.

01:44:33
Speaker 1: Do you ever feel like you get burnt out working four hours a day before the summer, then you go right into camp and then you have August two, hopefully February. Yeah, that's what I was wondering.

01:44:42
Speaker 2: Yeah, no, my anxiety of like performance is way too hot. Yeah, I'm like, like one of the NFL is not for long two? How are I always view it? And I can't remember. I think it was like an NFL athlete came back to Iowa when I was like a sophomore in college and and he talked about how he was, like I trained the way I do because every single one of you guys would dream your dream is to being have my job. And he was like he basically said, fuck them kids. And it's like every like, there's there's one hundred thousand kids who would dream of being the starting tight end for the San Francisco forty nine ers, and it's my job to not let any of them achieve their dreams.

01:45:20
Speaker 1: I mean that's a kind of a bar.

01:45:21
Speaker 2: Yeah, And so like in my like, I literally just have this itch in the back of my head. It's like if I don't hit like my quota of like what I what I know is the right amount to train, and then I can't. It's just all I think about the rest of the day.

01:45:33
Speaker 1: How do you tempt your workouts in the season in season because you're going from this like maximum effort, you're trying to get your body right about stay conditioning. Yeah, now you get in the season. Let's let's let's put our minds in the middle.

01:45:46
Speaker 2: Of October lifting in the season every Monday the entire year, I front squad through and fifteen pounds for three reps, no matter what.

01:45:53
Speaker 5: Front squad every Monday throughout the entire season.

01:45:55
Speaker 2: Every Monday for the last eight years. Yeah, three fifteen front squad that's what me and Fred Warner got every Monday together. And then last year, I actually in December I got my Dumbell bench press. I was hitting one forty five's for three reps, which was nice. In season. Try to keep my strength up because if I don't work out, dude, I lose so much weight and then like it's hard to play tight in at two thirty five, Like I have to be like over two forty to block, and anytime you get underneath that, it's very difficult because I got a block guys like Nick Bosa and they just like can pick me up and move me something.

01:46:30
Speaker 1: Ye, and the kid looks like an action figure too.

01:46:32
Speaker 2: Yeah, he's discussing, you know. That's so it's so gross bout Nick two. I'm pretty sure he just turned twenty seven. It's like, oh my god, Like he hasn't even hit it. He hasn't even hit his like his peak of like being a guy yet. Like that's like twenty eight, twenty nine, thirty.

01:46:44
Speaker 1: It's guys like that who just come in the league and are already a force. And then you look, but he's been a leaf for six years now. Yeah, and you're just like this, Oh, he's been around forever. It's like, you know, he hasn't He's just been dominant. Yeah, he says the minute he stepped in the football.

01:46:57
Speaker 2: He just hasn't. He just is always good.

01:46:59
Speaker 1: And then I'm spinner stants. Just kid, go around, you can go through you.

01:47:04
Speaker 5: That's like just built like a specimen.

01:47:06
Speaker 1: Yeah, there's like I'm like Watts, Nick Bosa and Derek Henry are like to creative players. Yeah, you look at him and you're just like, Yo, what the fuck is this?

01:47:16
Speaker 2: I mean, Miles scared s Garrett's creative player.

01:47:19
Speaker 1: His training videos are insane. Those box jumps are nuts.

01:47:24
Speaker 2: No, what was he doing? I saw he was doing like single leg single leg squats with like three fifteen on his back. I'm like, did fuck you? Like he can't good for you, man? But holy goal, he is.

01:47:38
Speaker 1: A He is an impressive human being. Impressive human being even playing him. I played him his rookie year yeah, and just look at you. I was like, this kid's gonna be a fucking monster. Yeah, monster, but monster.

01:47:50
Speaker 5: Dude, it's impressive that you put.

01:47:51
Speaker 2: Up three fifteen every Monday, every Monday without fails, like the scheme.

01:47:58
Speaker 5: So what does a rep scheme changed.

01:48:00
Speaker 2: Thoughts always three reps. I started started at one thirty five, one eighty five, two twenty five, two seventy five, three fifteen, And that's my squad for that, and I do some other lower body stuff. But I like, that's a check I have to hit that checkbox because if I can do that, I can play football. Now there's a couple Like there's times like if I have like a weird like a weird injury or something like that, like we like I'll do like a different type of squad, but I still try to do as heavy as I possibly can. But hey, you gotta do it.

01:48:26
Speaker 1: Yeah, what's your what's your thoughts on back squad?

01:48:29
Speaker 2: I haven't backsquatted. I had in high school. I had a stress fracture in like my L four And if I put more than like two twenty five in my back, I can't walk the next day. And that's been. That's been since I was like seventeen.

01:48:39
Speaker 1: That's man right now.

01:48:40
Speaker 2: Yeah, so front spots, I've had zero issues.

01:48:44
Speaker 1: I have a fracture four. You got you got your shrinking?

01:48:47
Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, I'm getting Yeah, maybe.

01:48:51
Speaker 2: What the ghost is back? He brought a helmet?

01:48:56
Speaker 1: What kind of helmet is this Will? It's George's helmet. George, why his helmet?

01:49:00
Speaker 7: Here?

01:49:00
Speaker 1: Will George's game helmet from Iowa. I guess George wanted to bring it in today.

01:49:04
Speaker 2: Yeah, of course I totally brought this in myself. Oh yeah, you guys steal this from my barn. You remember when he said it? Oh yeah, fantastic.

01:49:13
Speaker 1: Why did you send that?

01:49:14
Speaker 2: I think it was because it was a reverse Father's Day gift for Will, because Iowa is his daddy.

01:49:25
Speaker 1: God, that went better than I thought. That was more hurtful than I thought it would be. Yeah.

01:49:31
Speaker 2: You know what's really fun though, I have two Nebraska players on my team for the first time in a couple of years. Luke Gifford. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I love that guy.

01:49:37
Speaker 1: He's a man dude.

01:49:39
Speaker 2: Yeah.

01:49:39
Speaker 1: Also, I know, for the first time in a couple of years. It's tough.

01:49:42
Speaker 2: Well, this is I have my first Iowa teammates and c J. Bether In twenty twenty, Connor Coleby. We drafted him in the seventh roundy off to lineman. I'll just put that next. Who's the other Nebraska boy wide receiver? I'm so bad at the rookies number fourteen. He was like your tall, lanky wide receiver last year, such as an n Yeah, yeah, I want to say nay more, but that's not it.

01:50:04
Speaker 1: He transferred.

01:50:05
Speaker 2: Fourteen is his number. He's a good kid. I like him. He's a freak. He is really tall. And I watched him he was running a route and he got he got like nine and a half yards and two strides. I was like, no, ship, it was insane. We watched it like ten times at the tight end room. We're like, how is he doing this?

01:50:27
Speaker 1: It's funny too, like when did he get drafted? Did he?

01:50:30
Speaker 2: I just know he's undrafted. He's got a shot if you I mean, if you're that all, like just make plays and do all on special teams right like at the bare minim he should make practice squad.

01:50:43
Speaker 1: Just imagine six four how much weight to eighteen? He runs four to four six.

01:50:48
Speaker 5: Yeah, he's a freak gunner. Yeah, well him.

01:50:54
Speaker 2: It was really funny. He like, you know, like rookies are all shy kind of just art.

01:51:00
Speaker 1: Yeah.

01:51:00
Speaker 2: And it time towards the into the O t as. He just ordered me, hey go big red and I was like, I love it.

01:51:06
Speaker 1: What is uh? Just so I know how when's the last time Nebraskat beat Iowa?

01:51:12
Speaker 3: Uh?

01:51:13
Speaker 2: What like yeah, two or three years ago? Okay, so long, I always went nine out of the last.

01:51:19
Speaker 5: I was gonna say, you looked the last ten years or not?

01:51:21
Speaker 1: And one it's tough.

01:51:22
Speaker 2: Yeah.

01:51:22
Speaker 1: Oh are you nervous at all? Do you are you following your boys at Iowa? Are you familiar with the team? Do you feel good about this year? Because there's room we're swirling about Nebraska on this bus right now.

01:51:32
Speaker 2: Oh well, I mean every year he says, why are we not going to win eleven games? Like this one's a maybe? And he's like circling Oklahoma like sewing go, this is a maybe. But everything else this is easy, easy, easy, easy. I'm like, I love the confidence.

01:51:46
Speaker 1: Every year everything she will and I know I say that every year.

01:51:50
Speaker 2: But this year, no, because it's so you still have the same coach.

01:51:53
Speaker 1: Yeah, hey, there's rumors about that too. He's not focused on ball. That's not he's taking. That's just your opinions. Oh no, no, no, no, but that there's a there was a question on our pre production sheet last week's podcast, it is Matt Rule taking this year? Seriously?

01:52:10
Speaker 5: Oh that's on our for That's that's that's an internal Oh.

01:52:14
Speaker 1: Yeah, but I'm I'm not having that opinion. I'm seeing that. I'm like, wow, we should really look into this.

01:52:18
Speaker 2: That's funny. Well, I just think how many years as Kirk Ferns have left in him. I would say he signed his deal through twenty twenty seven. I mean, I mean, it's Kirk Farns's job until he doesn't want anymore. That's that's what that's gonna happen. He's going to be the He's the king of Iowa. Let's see. But I was just saying, Matt rule, like it takes a couple of years, like get your program installed. Yeah, So like they're just they're going Nebraska is going to continue to get better and better. It's football is also better when Nebraska is good.

01:52:48
Speaker 1: It is very big of you to say, I feel like football has been pretty good for the last two decades.

01:52:55
Speaker 9: Could be better.

01:52:57
Speaker 2: Yeah, but speaking of football better, dude, yeah, wait till it gets better. But like we they're I'm not going to name any of their names, but like so we like, you know, you have rookies, and we had a great rookie class, Like every offensive install that we do during OTAs a rookie has to get up and tell a joke, and everybody did it except for one of our running backs. So I don't know if that's Christian's fault or Juice's fault for not making him do it, because the other rookie did it and he did a good joke. Oh. Also, this Isaiah kid had a fantastic joke. It was phenomenal. Not appropriate share on the bus, but very funny.

01:53:28
Speaker 1: Okay I was.

01:53:30
Speaker 2: I was so impressed with it too, because it was like a story and I had no idea what was happening, and the punchline at the end, the entire room was crying. It was I was really impressed. But we make them do name school signing bonus and this year we added inn Il too, and one of the kids was like, yeah, I made he was undrafted. He goes I made a thirty thousand dollars signing bonus, Like oh yeah, good for you, man, and then he's like, I made seven hundred thousand dollars in an il. I was like, a man, why did you declare for the drafted another year?

01:54:00
Speaker 1: Man?

01:54:01
Speaker 2: Are you kidding me?

01:54:02
Speaker 1: It is the nil thing is crazy? Kid it makes what's the highest number you heard in the rookie class.

01:54:08
Speaker 2: Let's see, someone was over a million. I just can't imagine making that much. I mean, I wouldn't have made that money. You might have, you probably would.

01:54:19
Speaker 1: Have no off its the line. In the years that I was at Michigan, we were terrible. Denard Robinson, he.

01:54:24
Speaker 2: Was, oh my gosh, yes that would have been sid Well.

01:54:27
Speaker 1: We're all making healthy six figures.

01:54:30
Speaker 2: I mean I probably I probably get like twenty five, but like, can you imagine getting like a twenty five thousand dollars check as.

01:54:35
Speaker 1: It called.

01:54:38
Speaker 5: Even on that.

01:54:38
Speaker 2: Yes, you're right, brool, like just like you could get a sick apartment like just that, Like you just.

01:54:44
Speaker 5: Remember getting like fifteen or two thou pale Grain.

01:54:47
Speaker 2: Oh yeah, she had all of it. She is, she got all of it.

01:54:51
Speaker 1: She's she's uplifting an entire sport.

01:54:55
Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, first game back to drop thirty two on their heads.

01:54:59
Speaker 1: Her first game back was the nine points in whatever, Yeah, forty five seconds.

01:55:03
Speaker 2: Okay, she did you know?

01:55:06
Speaker 1: You did?

01:55:07
Speaker 2: You know? What's crazy? You don't every time you talk about Kayle, you don't have to talk about angel Reaes. Maybe that's what's wrong.

01:55:12
Speaker 1: That's the rule.

01:55:13
Speaker 2: No, No, that is the rule, not at all.

01:55:15
Speaker 1: That's what makes Robberies great, That's what makes Roberie's great. You need this Angel Reese needs Kaitlyn Clark.

01:55:20
Speaker 2: I'll let you say that.

01:55:23
Speaker 1: Yeah, I think so. I think. I don't know. I don't want to get into a murky waters that I'm not aware.

01:55:29
Speaker 2: Of, don't. Yeah it's murky waters.

01:55:31
Speaker 1: Then I'll hate. Then I'll complay. I'll put this bad boy in reverse. I'll put this motherfucker in reverse.

01:55:36
Speaker 5: You said Angel Reese needs Kaitlyn Clark, and you're like, listen, I don't want to get into murky waters.

01:55:40
Speaker 1: I saw everyone's face on the bus. I was like, oh, there's something I don't know about that. I'm saying.

01:55:45
Speaker 2: I just I don't know.

01:55:46
Speaker 1: Man, Yeah, yeah, you know listen, go Hawks. Yeah, like college football. Man, it'll be interesting to see what happens to Nebraska this year, because you know the bust and bols back this year. Spember twenty, is it really? Yeah? Twentieth. Lines will be drawn in the sand. That is where is it at Nebraska? Oh?

01:56:05
Speaker 2: I will sit. I think I say it every time. I think Nebraska is still my favorite excited Nebraska. It's one of my memorial stadams, like my favorite stadan playing.

01:56:15
Speaker 1: It is a great spot.

01:56:17
Speaker 2: It is so fun.

01:56:18
Speaker 1: It is loud, it's obnoxious.

01:56:19
Speaker 2: Well, it's just like there's not a lot of It's like an NFL stadium in college. That's why I like it. It's tall, it's just like most college state stadium. It's a great stadium.

01:56:29
Speaker 1: Good stadium we went to. They still rested Colorado and they were doing they did a drone show. Whoever was rocking the board was doing an incredible job. It was awesome.

01:56:41
Speaker 2: So between Nebraska they turn off their lights sometimes right at night, fourth quarter.

01:56:46
Speaker 1: Yeah.

01:56:46
Speaker 2: That so it was like four years ago. I sent a highlight of that to like our president, Al Guido. Awesome dude, And I was like, do we have to be able to do this stuff for the Niners because like we have the old school, Like we haven't renovated our stadium since it was built and I think fifteen and so they they're completely renovating our whole stdium, all new lights, all new scoreboards, all new light up stuff. So like when it's a night game, now we can turn the lights off and I have the red and stuff. No shit, I'm so excited.

01:57:15
Speaker 5: That's gonna be juicy.

01:57:17
Speaker 2: Oh, it's so inciting.

01:57:18
Speaker 1: Those things in the NFL is so big.

01:57:20
Speaker 2: Because the first time I experienced it was in New Orleans and twenty nineteen because it's a dome and like for New Orleans intros, like they turn the lights off and it's just like flashing lights or a spotlight on Cam Jordan running out. I was like, this is the cool. It was a twelve o'clock game and I felt like I was playing eight pm kick off. It was electric.

01:57:37
Speaker 1: The first time I experienced that was twenty nineteen Division game against the Ravens, and that was like Lamar Jackson's MVP game. It was a night game, so sat and they turned all the lights off and the lights flash. It was just awesome. So the light show goes a long way.

01:57:51
Speaker 2: That that stuff is. It's just so cool. It just adds to the atmosphere. So I'm excited.

01:57:57
Speaker 1: Now.

01:57:57
Speaker 2: The sun doesn't really set until because our games are what like five o five, five thirty.

01:58:02
Speaker 1: That's right, you are, yeah, you're we're out there.

01:58:04
Speaker 2: But like when he gets into like November December, it sets a little earlier, so we'll be able to do that stuff, and I cannot wait. It's that I have no idea. That's a good that's a good one. One thing we started doing last year too was they're asking like, hey, do you want like a song to play when you score a touchdown? And I was like, please play Kryptonite by three Doors down. But they didn't ask us that to like week sixteen, and then I didn't score a touch on the last two games. I was very disappointed. I was like, all I want to do is.

01:58:33
Speaker 5: Man, I go crazy and you still call me superman.

01:58:38
Speaker 2: I'm laughing.

01:58:38
Speaker 12: Well, will you be there holding my hand and keep you by my side with my super human by krypt and Ie, wouldn't that be so sick?

01:58:50
Speaker 1: That'd be electric? You got any you got any TD celebrations so awesome? So what forty nine is uniforms are up there top three.

01:58:59
Speaker 5: You could go uh, you could go left hand and replicate Taylor's first pitch.

01:59:05
Speaker 2: Done, you could do that done. I'm gonna like when the gesture, I'm going to aim at the upright, I'm just gonna throw it and try not I'm gonna try to hit somebody in the stands.

01:59:17
Speaker 13: Yeah, yeah, no, dude, where was that? Oh I was with that was a worry moment. No, I talked about your first pitch. I talked about your first pitch yesterday with rich Eisen. I think, of course he pulled it up and which.

01:59:33
Speaker 1: Is just always around, but he's always.

01:59:36
Speaker 2: Know what though, just to to have your back on it. There was a lady dressing all yellow from head to toe, distracting, very distracted, very distracted. Now like a good point. Yeah, I mean I.

01:59:46
Speaker 5: Have your back on it. If I could have your back, I.

01:59:48
Speaker 2: Think it was either it was either him or it was pardon my take. Talked about it one or the other, but don't click on the photo like six five over to the right of him, bottom left that one. See the lady in yellow. Yeah, that's a lot of yellow. Yeah, and then right but then someone was like, look, it looks like a stoplight because you're in red, she's in yellow, and there's green seats. You're just distracted, distracted.

02:00:15
Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know what to do. No, I needed that, thank you. Yeah, it's been a tough journey for me. Yeah, I've had to work through a lot of things.

02:00:24
Speaker 2: I see your practice pitches, they look like they're they're going he's putting in work. We're putting in work. But when you say going on a Will posted a video of you overthrowing somebody.

02:00:34
Speaker 1: Yeah, I asked Will to take a video for the busted account, and he took the liberty of putting out of himself. First. It was tough, and that was a bad showing by It was a bad showing. It was worse.

02:00:44
Speaker 2: It was all that is true.

02:00:46
Speaker 1: See that is true that I did not even think about.

02:00:50
Speaker 2: You could have fallen, could have tripped over the mound.

02:00:52
Speaker 1: Here's the issue, Georgia.

02:00:53
Speaker 2: And then Will just throw a strike.

02:00:54
Speaker 1: I'm the ultimate optimist when I do things, I believe everything's always going to go right. Yeah, and so I didn't worry about it at all. And then when it happened, I was like, that could happen?

02:01:03
Speaker 2: Do you guys warm up at all? Dude?

02:01:05
Speaker 1: We asked for gloves, we we wanted to throw, and we started just doing this lazy like yeah soft thought that this is the Dad combine. Boom.

02:01:15
Speaker 2: Oh, I was sick. Why do you do that?

02:01:19
Speaker 1: You loved? You have made you feel good?

02:01:21
Speaker 2: Huh that was great? Yeah, look how far you've gone?

02:01:24
Speaker 1: Right?

02:01:25
Speaker 5: Thank you? You know, it's a little different being in the backyard compared to the big league stadium for me.

02:01:30
Speaker 2: For me at this point, that's a that that's a six stadium. I went the year at Open Cubs and it was amazing. Sat in the bleachers with my dad. It was a fantastic time.

02:01:43
Speaker 5: Here's what I'll say, we're gonna work with trying to envision, trying to do the breath work.

02:01:49
Speaker 2: National gets r MLB team. We're all gonna throw our first pitches. That'd be so sock.

02:01:55
Speaker 5: You play ball growing up?

02:01:57
Speaker 2: Do I quit baseball in like sixth grade?

02:01:59
Speaker 1: Se me three baseball? Yeah, right, catch after this.

02:02:06
Speaker 2: No, I've never thrown the first pitch of the Giants skin. They've asked me a couple of times. It just hasn't worked because they always asked me, like June and July. It's like I'm not. I'm well. You know what's crazy too, is so like my right labor's completely torn. So like throwing a football like more than twenty yards has always hurt since high school. And then in the Super Bowl, I got a like a grade three AC spray and I chipped a bone in my shoulder. And now it doesn't hurt to throw anymore. Oh really Yeah, it's like you know, like those you get hit in the head, and also you have a superpower. Now I can throw the ball like fourty positive.

02:02:36
Speaker 1: Yeah.

02:02:37
Speaker 2: Literally, I was like, huh oh, this is awesome, Like I can merely throw a football now, no pain. I'm like, this is sick, and so now I need to play a little catch because my brother in law he's a pitcher in South Korea and so he's always like you trying to play catch. Dude. Hey, my brother in law he had he had an eighteen strikeout game like two weeks ago. That was sick, and then he won. He won like you know NFL does, like player of the month. He won, like player of the month for the whole league. Sounds pretty sick. So I'm pump. I'm pumped for him. Shout out Cody Ponce.

02:03:07
Speaker 1: Dude.

02:03:08
Speaker 2: They're actually they starting the season off like one and nine, and then all of a sudden, they're like I think they're second or third. They're in the league, no ship. Yeah, so they're playing really well. He's playing really well. He had ten strikeouts like two days ago.

02:03:21
Speaker 1: He sounds like it.

02:03:23
Speaker 2: I mean, you guys have similar bodies. I mean he's like six six sixty seven. He lefty, No, he's alrighty. Taylor might be alrighty.

02:03:33
Speaker 1: We're having a blast here on the show man, I'm having a budda Baker.

02:03:39
Speaker 2: He might be alrighty.

02:03:41
Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, man, it's so mean. It's my best friend.

02:03:47
Speaker 2: Your wife's not your best friend.

02:03:48
Speaker 1: That's crazy. Yeah, you right, that is. And it just keeps on coming, and it just keeps.

02:03:55
Speaker 2: On coming, and you're not talking about something.

02:03:57
Speaker 1: Taylor birthdays actually on Saturday, right, twenty nine.

02:04:01
Speaker 5: It just happened.

02:04:02
Speaker 1: It just happened.

02:04:02
Speaker 5: Taylor's birthday just happened on Saturday.

02:04:04
Speaker 1: That's right. Taylors birthday just happened. And Minch's birthday just happen.

02:04:10
Speaker 2: Taylors. She's starting twenty nine, right.

02:04:11
Speaker 1: Twenty Yeah, yep, she has it thirty yet she's still going.

02:04:15
Speaker 2: That's what uh cayle eus check. Everyone's like, you work his back, juice. How old are you? Like you've played in the league? Like I think he's going on your he's going on your thirteen or fourteen, and he just tells everyone I'm twenty nine. He's definitely, no, he's thirty four, but he tells everybody that he's twenty nine, and the we're just like, how we played for so long your own did you guy to leave when you're like sixteen? Yeah?

02:04:34
Speaker 1: No shit.

02:04:34
Speaker 2: Every people believe him through but he tells everybody that he's twenty nine. It's hilarious. So I started doing it too.

02:04:39
Speaker 1: How does how does he feel? You ever talked to him at his money? Thirteen years? Is crazy?

02:04:43
Speaker 2: Uh, he's doing great, dude. I mean like he did all of OTA's catching, catching the ball, running on the sideline, having a great time. He loves it. Good for him, Yeah, dude, and it's like, yeah, we just have a lot of fun together. Yeah, see perfect.

02:04:55
Speaker 1: Do we think us Check is a gold jacket guy?

02:04:58
Speaker 2: Yeah, dude, he has this. I think he has ten Pro Bowls.

02:05:02
Speaker 1: Oh oh so he's not. Yeah, he's locked.

02:05:05
Speaker 5: He's locked.

02:05:05
Speaker 2: He's locked to be ten Pro Bowls. And then I mean he if like randomly. I think he had one first team All Pro fullback and then they got rid of it for like six years, seven years, and I think they just brought it back and he got he had first team All Pro two years ago. He was second team this past season. But Yeah, he has multiple first team All pros and ten Pro Bowls or nine Pro Bowls.

02:05:24
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, he's in. That was a dumb question.

02:05:26
Speaker 2: Yeah, he's he's pretty good at it. Nine Pro Bowls.

02:05:29
Speaker 1: Oh well that changes there and there.

02:05:30
Speaker 2: Can I think they're consecuted that seventeen to twenty four. Yeah, look at that. Sixteen through twenty four.

02:05:35
Speaker 1: God, that's fucking great.

02:05:37
Speaker 2: Every year playing with the Niners, he's gone to the Pro Bowl.

02:05:39
Speaker 1: I think it's funny how they put sixteen and they go and then they go twenty seventeen, twenty four.

02:05:42
Speaker 2: Sixteen years on the Ravens. That's probably that's probably what that is.

02:05:46
Speaker 1: That doesn't make sense.

02:05:48
Speaker 2: Yeah, he's he's really good at it.

02:05:50
Speaker 5: So another teammate of yours X team out of yours, d BO, did you see the video, the recent video?

02:05:55
Speaker 2: Did you know that he was commented on it? Yeah's viral player.

02:05:59
Speaker 1: And vil What was the reply?

02:06:01
Speaker 5: This is how he always looks.

02:06:02
Speaker 2: No these like the video that that's like the worst time for NFL is between at post draft until the season starts. Yeah, it's the worst because everyone's just looking for dumb things. They're just it was a reply, and that's why I said, so, like this video this is on air. It's group install, like you're literally you install this play an hour ago in your meeting and now you're going over it just so guys don't mess it up when you get to the live team periods. It's all this is. So he's running at like like people are roasting for his route. He's running at like fifty percent. He's actually going faster in this group install than I ever saw him go in our group installs. And I know it's it's like I'm saying, this is like my routes in this period, Like I am in a legit jog, like I am hardly moving because like it's just or like you might do a little cut, like you're just warming up to get to the team periods like that. This is a learning period and so people are just roasting like, oh, he looks fatty, looks slow. It's like just let Deebo get to the point where he puts shoulder pads on, because that's what he's there for. Like I'm a not I'm not a good seven on seven player, Like I can run routes stuff like that, but like you play football in pads, right, So like all these people critiquing OTA stuff like it is what it is? Like, who cares?

02:07:14
Speaker 1: Bush League?

02:07:15
Speaker 2: Stupid? I like, I can't. I look like if you look at our OTA's play, like when I I didn't do a lot this year because I just did everything up until team periods. But like I look like a very average football player in the spring. Like besides, like I run good routes, I catch football stuff, but like the run game, how like I block with my shoulder pads and my helmet, Like how are you supposed to do that? In Ota? Shoulder pads on, Like I'm not gonna change my technique. I'm not gonna do that. Yeah, But so like it's just it's a different ball game. So just like that Debo put pads on and he'll he'll have a great season.

02:07:47
Speaker 5: Well you bummed to see him go to Washington.

02:07:49
Speaker 2: I'm happy for him that he went to Washington. Like guys need a fresh start sometimes and he wanted a fresh start, and so I'm very happy for him. I'm gonna I'm sad that I you know, I don't have him on my team anymore, because I just loved having him around the locker and stuff like that. But I'm happy for him. I'm happy he went to Washington because Adam Peters is there are old assistant GM and he's he's the man. And then also the they're pretty good a football too, Yeah, Jade and Daniels.

02:08:13
Speaker 5: Daniels seems like he's gonna be a very good football player.

02:08:17
Speaker 2: For Yeah, he's he's very talented.

02:08:21
Speaker 1: God, I hope I hope they just keep it going to this year. Yeah, Like I hope they're like.

02:08:27
Speaker 2: With the zone Jade Daniels does and all that the stuff that we did with Deebo in the backfield, like and you have scary Terry on the outside, and then like people just continue to forget about zach Ertz had a very good year last year, and I mean you throw him in the middle, like they have a very talented offense and that Jane Daniels makes everybody better too.

02:08:48
Speaker 1: He's insane as well. Yeah, yeah, think him in a trade for like I think a fourth and a fifth round pick. But Tunsel is nasty to his feet are crazy.

02:08:58
Speaker 2: Look odds in the NFL Like, can't bet on those, but you cannot. I don't want to bet on those. We can Oh my god, I'm back in Tennessee, I can bet on the Stanley Cup.

02:09:07
Speaker 1: Now, yeah, who you pulling for Florida?

02:09:11
Speaker 10: Oh?

02:09:11
Speaker 2: Said, this is fun. So I love Connor McDavid. I'll never forget when Phil Forsburg, Phil Forestburgh told me and like he Phil doesn't like hype up anybody, and like he's like, oh, yeah, he's a good player. But they were playing when this was like probably two thousand and nineteen twenty one something like that, when he was young, and he's like, we're playing the oiler He's like, you gotta come watch McDavid. I was like, really, he was like, just come watch. He played like it's like Tyreek kill on skates. He's he's insane, he's in he's insane, and so like I just't going to the game and I sat in the glass and I just seeing him. You're like, holy cow, that dude's different. Phil's never talked about anyone like that. So I'm a fan of him just because he's He's just so much fun to watch. And so I would love for Connor McDavid to get a to win, But the same time, a Canadian team hasn't won since nineteen ninety three. Just keep strick alive.

02:10:05
Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying.

02:10:05
Speaker 2: Keep strick alive.

02:10:06
Speaker 1: And here's the thing about Connor McDavid is great player. I'll never forgive him for what he did in the Four Nations tournament.

02:10:13
Speaker 2: What do you do?

02:10:14
Speaker 1: First off, America beat Canada. Then in the championship it goes to overtime and Connor McDavid scored, though, I remember the winning goal for Canada. Yeah, and you know, for Tailent's Canadian So I started getting really mouthy for those four to six days you did with her very personal. Hey, it was fun for you guys.

02:10:31
Speaker 2: I remember that.

02:10:32
Speaker 1: Now we're good. It's kind of over for you guys. Once America has her mindset on something, we take over.

02:10:36
Speaker 2: Yep.

02:10:37
Speaker 1: That type of mentality. So between every period, Taylan's actually in Canada at this time, she's calling me. Her whole family's there. We're going back and forth. I'm a one man army, and then that has to happen to me. I'll never forgive him. Well, he's dead to me. I was for him to come on the show.

02:10:53
Speaker 2: But I went to Four Nations this year. I was up in Montreal. How was it phenomenal? So I was up there's team Sweden, Phil Forsburg, that's crazy. Yeah, I know. Well, so I was up well the first game, I can't remember who they played the was it the Netherlands? Yes, look at me. It's a very flattering photo of my wife and Phil's wife. That was a tough one. We were out till yeah, Montreal parties. We were out till like four am. And then that game was like, hey, we're picking you up at ten am. I was like, oh no, yeah, look at look at young Felix. That's my godson. He's an absolute stallion. He's an absolute stallion, just started walking. I got him a set of plastic golf clubs and he uses them as weapons. It's amazing. He just pulls them out and then he just runs and hits. It's so funny. Oh right, he's fantastic. But so I was up there, and then that night was USA Canada. I didn't even think about it, and I was like, dang, I really want to go to that. And I ended up in the suite with the NHL commissioner, who could not have been nicer, and Georgia Saint Pierre could not have been cooler. And then the third period, Trudeau was in my suite as well, and that was like I'm sitting there and like I'm off to the side, like trying to take a little space as I positive can Becu's meet Claire and then one of Phil's buddies and just like trying to not be in the way. Then all a sudden, like six security guys walk in with the wire in their ear. I'm like, hmm, what's going on? Turn on my show. I'm like, oh my god, that's yeah. Oh that's crazy. I'm just gonna sit over here and just not move.

02:12:18
Speaker 1: Do you mean him? Do you have any interaction? Uh?

02:12:20
Speaker 2: Yeah, I talked to him. He had his like twenty one year old son could not have been nicer. I will say the wildest thing that happened was because like these suites, they're kind of like the Nashville Stadium where it's like the stands are right in front of it, right, so like you can interact with the crowd, except there's less of all. I'm talking like they could reach up and touch me soup, Like they could just reach back and climb to the suite. That's a low it is, And so they were like all these Canadians are yelling at me during the game and the third period starts, and I had like five people throughout the entire third periods yelling at me to punch him in the face. Yeah, except they use way worse words. He had two security ears were sitting in front of me and between me and the fan, and they're saying, punch that dude in the face.

02:12:58
Speaker 1: Get all.

02:12:58
Speaker 2: I'm like, yeah, yeah, I've got to be so uncomfortable. I was like, he's there with this twenty year old years he's.

02:13:06
Speaker 1: In an earshot, he's touching, he's here in these bullets.

02:13:09
Speaker 2: He's just getting chirped the entire time.

02:13:11
Speaker 1: Just walking and be like, hey man, I'm sorry about this, but they asking I'm.

02:13:14
Speaker 2: So sorry man, it's it's for It's for the people.

02:13:17
Speaker 1: Yeah.

02:13:17
Speaker 2: Yeah, I was so uncomfortable for that period of time. But yeah, he could have been nicer. I so like, his son's right there, like just leave the doulaw man. It's a hockey game.

02:13:26
Speaker 1: Man, right. They turned in a hurry one I took it.

02:13:33
Speaker 2: It was like I took one photo with him and it was it was Trudeau, one of the guys working the suite and me. It was like, what an what a weird weird photo photo one of one photo, Like, what is this?

02:13:45
Speaker 1: Why do you?

02:13:45
Speaker 2: Why do you want a photo with both of us at the same time?

02:13:47
Speaker 9: Have you?

02:13:49
Speaker 1: I'm gonna mess this up. But there's like a conspiracy theory about Trudeau. Man who his father really is? Fidel Castro sick and this is all allegedly, but apparently his mom went down to where where's for Cuba was in Cuba around the same time, nine whatever ten months later. However, you incubate a baby, he was born and they have very similar qualities. And so there was a conspiracy theory on the fact that, uh that Rudeau and Castro are related. I love diving into that a little bit.

02:14:18
Speaker 2: Oh my gosh. Yeah, man, can I come back on in like two weeks we just do a conspiracy theory podcast that would be out because let's just talk about pyramids and.

02:14:27
Speaker 1: I should get Jared Allen on for that. Oh so yeah, because Jared is all about.

02:14:31
Speaker 2: The conspiracy love Antarctica theories too. That stuff is so good.

02:14:34
Speaker 1: Yeah.

02:14:35
Speaker 2: The pyramid, dude, the ice wall, the edge of the earth. Out of the stuff they just found underneath the pyramids, the coils and stuff.

02:14:44
Speaker 1: Yeah, pull that up.

02:14:45
Speaker 2: I think I saw about the craziest thing is so like some company developed this scan thing where they can like look underground. They can see outlines of what is like the foundation, and those things are like how are they? Yeah, four thousand feet into the ground. Think about how far those go down? And there's coils that go around and they don't know if it's like some type of like like circuit, like a current thing like like like a metal pipe, or if it's a walkway. They don't know what it is because they can't tell by like the feed. But they're saying that's underneath the pyramid. It was crazy because that came out and it was like this scientific article and then like all these like people debunked it, and then like a couple of weeks later those people that debunked it, all those things were false. And so like this is apparently an actual thing. God that that's the end that's underneath the pyramid? Like, what what is that?

02:15:34
Speaker 1: Sold? The Egyptians probably didn't make that. Huh, dude, we got to probably assume at this point you can't tell me, I assume extraterrestrials.

02:15:43
Speaker 2: You can't tell me that like five million people built the pyramids how and like if you look at like they have like what.

02:15:49
Speaker 5: Because didn't the Rogan have somebody on recently too? And he was talking about the you know, the pyramids and every little bit.

02:15:55
Speaker 1: Yeah, I love this conversation because we have none of us know.

02:15:57
Speaker 2: What we're talking about.

02:15:58
Speaker 1: No, very Like this is the fun.

02:16:00
Speaker 2: I like watch the conspiracy theory stuff on TikTok all the time. God, but like the pyramid one, like they took some of the some of the bricks or whatever you call them, the blocks they use to build the pyramids that are like ten thousand tons or however much they are, right, they came from a quarry like two hundred fifty miles away. How do you get a ten thousand ton block two hundred fifty miles and then move it water upstream on a road.

02:16:28
Speaker 1: It's like the Panama Canal, the Panama Box. In one area, flood it, it floats slowly, let it out.

02:16:34
Speaker 2: But none of that the next area. But like none of that is you can't see, like none of that's there anymore. It's got to be it's got to be Aliens. It's gotta be.

02:16:42
Speaker 5: Some tech that we just we don't have our hands on right now.

02:16:44
Speaker 2: Some type of gravity thing. They just lifted it up and moved it. Oh yeah, we do yeah, yeah, yeah, we do have that technology.

02:16:50
Speaker 1: Yep.

02:16:50
Speaker 5: The majority of people don't know about it. Some iron Man type shit.

02:16:54
Speaker 2: That'd be insane. You know, there's a golf course next to the Pyramids.

02:16:57
Speaker 1: I did see a photo of that. I don't know if it was real or not.

02:16:59
Speaker 2: Is it If it's real, sign me up, I'll go play thirty six holes or nothing. Twice about it.

02:17:04
Speaker 1: I would love to just see those days they make.

02:17:06
Speaker 2: Transfusions in Egypt.

02:17:07
Speaker 5: Yeah, seeing them, seeing the pyramids would be sick.

02:17:09
Speaker 1: Yeah, it would be very cool.

02:17:11
Speaker 2: Oh my god, do you imagine playing there? That would be so sick.

02:17:20
Speaker 12: Apparently, what the.

02:17:23
Speaker 2: That see?

02:17:24
Speaker 1: Like?

02:17:26
Speaker 2: It can't be that high, right, I don't know, dude. There's nothing that boosts your ego like playing golf at altitude and you hit the ball in extra thirty to fifty yards at l Yeah that sea level. But I played what like anytime I go to Nashville, Like not Nashville. Vegas is that Like it's not like a couple thousand feet elevation.

02:17:46
Speaker 1: I don't know Vegas is yeah, yeah, and I think exactly a couple of thousand feet of it.

02:17:51
Speaker 2: That's pretty good, I mean, but so like ball goes a little bit further. I played up in Idaho on my bye week class last year with Brock Purdy and literally any drive that I connected on, and for some reason I played really well that day. Yeah. I was hitting like three and twenty perfect. I was like, ah, I'm the best golfer alive. It was fantastic.

02:18:13
Speaker 5: Big golf guy.

02:18:14
Speaker 2: I love golf. I'm golf in the Lake Tahoe Celebrity Tournament this year.

02:18:18
Speaker 1: Nice.

02:18:18
Speaker 2: I'm very excited. My anxiety is through the roof.

02:18:21
Speaker 1: Why I've I mean, big time tournament.

02:18:24
Speaker 2: Yeah. You know, have you seen like the videos of like the cart girl goes hey, let me see what you got, and it's got the stadium noise I meant football and the screens shaking.

02:18:33
Speaker 1: That's me.

02:18:33
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that's us golfing up there. It was like thirty degrees and snowing. I beat him by I beat him by two. I beat him by two strokes.

02:18:41
Speaker 1: Gotta be a great feeling.

02:18:42
Speaker 2: Yeah, I love beating brocket golf.

02:18:44
Speaker 1: Do you know your partner yet?

02:18:47
Speaker 2: I think they like the first round I get paired with juice because they perry someone and then after that they parry with someone with similar scores. You, So I have no idea who'll be after that, but I'm pomped. I'm bringing a caddy from the golf clip to this one.

02:19:00
Speaker 1: Yeah, Max City and pulls.

02:19:02
Speaker 2: Like that's like I don't golf in front of people very often, and I will say my worst golf shot of the day is always the first tea box. It always is clear. Yeah, but like this is my thing. When you go to a celebrity golf tournament and people like stand around, what are you doing? No one out here as a professional besides like Steph Curry, Like right, he's a good golfer, but like, don't stand anywhere where I can hit you.

02:19:24
Speaker 1: Please, yeah, please stand by when that tournament.

02:19:27
Speaker 2: July ninth, tenth, eleventh, twelfth. I think.

02:19:32
Speaker 5: Every time I see it happen to him, like we've got to.

02:19:34
Speaker 2: Be you should figure out how to go out there because, pardon my take, they go out every year and they just line up. They do like fifteen interviews out there, do they really? Yeah, it's sick because you have so many people out there.

02:19:44
Speaker 5: There's a lot of heavy hitters, out there Edgewood.

02:19:49
Speaker 1: What we've realized is we do our vacations in July. That's when we're like, go hey, Loo's we're taking some time, as you should. We've realized that is not the time to do that. No, yeah, it's you should. You should June, or it's August, h July.

02:20:01
Speaker 2: Just go go somewhere nice in March. You know you should do you should. You should go to Cabo in February and watch the whales jump out of the water. We're talking one one no, not orcs.

02:20:13
Speaker 1: It's helping me out, No, dude, it's we're talking Orcas.

02:20:17
Speaker 2: No, no, no, do they know not Orcas.

02:20:21
Speaker 1: That's literally Wills dream right there.

02:20:22
Speaker 2: No, but like February is like their mating season or like where they travel through Cabo and they literally just you'll be out on a boat, like you can just sit your hotel, look at the ocean and you'll see fifteen whales jumping out of the water. It's insane and that beautiful. Yeah, I got that's where a podcast should be just a well watch your podcast in Cabo.

02:20:41
Speaker 1: Yeah, dude, we should just we should just.

02:20:44
Speaker 2: The golf courses, the golf courses in Cabo or just exquisite like they have. There's some course I play it where like you, the fairways are just as low as the green. You can put from like one hundred and fifty yards out. It's exhilarating, so much fun.

02:20:59
Speaker 1: I love hearing your past about golf. No, that's not gonna happen.

02:21:02
Speaker 2: Why not, it's I would be down.

02:21:05
Speaker 5: It's just like it's it's fun in the time, and it's no. No, I mean I get out, get.

02:21:10
Speaker 1: Out of the heuse.

02:21:11
Speaker 2: You can play one round a week, right. The problem is you stink my back. Let's find a swing. Just don't swing hard.

02:21:20
Speaker 1: I don't think you're understanding how bad you're back. It's not good.

02:21:25
Speaker 2: Like what do you feel comfortable sharing on the bus?

02:21:27
Speaker 5: I've shared it.

02:21:29
Speaker 2: I've heard it.

02:21:30
Speaker 5: Yeah, it's just it's in hell like my L four L five, like all the disc between that my SI joint, they're starting to shorten.

02:21:37
Speaker 1: Sure, so structurally I'm a little off. So I need to.

02:21:41
Speaker 5: Full accountability. I need to be disciplined with all of my daily exercises on staying on top of my back because until I do, I will continue to do something where I am trying to be explosive and then I will be in hell for like the next week.

02:21:58
Speaker 2: I got two things for you, My sims so clinic just opened up in a back and spine one where they've like life changing things. I was talking to my guy down there because literally, do you know what it's called. It's called the Stem Cells Institute. But the cool thing is, so they're in Panama, right, which is it's not the easiest place to get to from Nashville. But their clinic they has opened up, I'm pretty sure is in the Bahamas, so very easy to get to from here. Okay, that's their Back and Spine one. And I have one of my like a friend I have in California. He has a son who's in the Navy who has like some back problems and he's gonna send them down there to go see this back specialist. And then I have a couple of hockey buddies who have like really bad back stuff and they're I'm just I'm connecting them right now to go down there. You should take a peek at that, because it's insane. And then have I ever talked about agascue? It's like body posture workouts basically, like it just aligns your body so like your structurally sound like, yeah, hey, your femur's rotated and that's why your left back is hurt. And they give you workouts to re rotate your femur without a chi's like chiropractic work with a chiropractor, Like it adjusts your whole body and yeah, that's a gascue. I am. I do that all. I do that almost daily. I love it. But they have a thing. That thing, yeah, that thing, the tower. It pulls your leg out and it loosens it like stretches your whole body out, and it like realigns your spine and your hips.

02:23:21
Speaker 9: I do that.

02:23:22
Speaker 2: I do that three days a week.

02:23:23
Speaker 1: Okay, no one.

02:23:24
Speaker 2: I have like four of them in my house. If you want to borrow one, it only takes thirty to sixty minutes, depend on how long you want to do it.

02:23:30
Speaker 9: I love it.

02:23:31
Speaker 2: I highly suggest that one. That one is really good. Yeah, if you would told abou your back PROD, would have brought it with me this morning.

02:23:37
Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, I don't want to.

02:23:39
Speaker 1: Maybe you need like a.

02:23:40
Speaker 5: Chair that's better for your back, that that would be helpful.

02:23:43
Speaker 2: How do you guys not have like a chair sponsor yet, Like can imagine like lazy Boy sponsored the bus. Yeah, these are the ones we bought last year.

02:23:53
Speaker 5: These are the Amazon.

02:23:55
Speaker 1: Ones and then the nice ones.

02:23:56
Speaker 5: Yeah, the nice ones are for the lock for the locker room.

02:23:59
Speaker 1: Also don't have a lower back support.

02:24:01
Speaker 2: That's tough.

02:24:02
Speaker 5: That one feels much better though, speaking of bad ones bad back support when you guys were playing, how bad were your guys meeting room chairs?

02:24:10
Speaker 2: Like when you sat and watched film?

02:24:12
Speaker 1: I never noticed it.

02:24:13
Speaker 2: Oh dude, I bought gaming chairs for my whole room because I just couldn't do it nice.

02:24:17
Speaker 1: That's a hell of a gift.

02:24:19
Speaker 2: So we have we have like the nice Excel gaming chairs with nice lumbar support. I couldn't do it, Like, I spent like four years and then I was like, I'm just in pain before training camp practices. I can't do it.

02:24:32
Speaker 1: Was that a gift from pretty?

02:24:34
Speaker 7: Uh?

02:24:34
Speaker 1: Sagan the truck you drove in today?

02:24:36
Speaker 2: No, he didn't get me in a car.

02:24:37
Speaker 1: He didn't, but I know he got that same type of vehicle for his off it's a line.

02:24:41
Speaker 2: No, No, he got all the offensive line sequoia. He had five sequoias and five time dress for the boys. They all got. I think the best part about that too, is like everyone's arguing online like, oh my god, he spent his whole contract on these No, they got free leases. I think everyone gets a two to three year lease for a Toyota car. Yeah it's a dub Yeah, well that was like hate. I was like, Brocket, get one for your tight end that blox right, And he was like, well, how about you just asked Trent Williams for his? And I was like, how about you asked Trent Williams for it gift? And I was like, how many times do you think Trim Williams is gonna drive that car?

02:25:17
Speaker 7: You know?

02:25:17
Speaker 2: He should just buy me a Toyota.

02:25:19
Speaker 1: What do you get two fifty something?

02:25:20
Speaker 2: Yeah? Fifty three a year for five I think that's amazing.

02:25:25
Speaker 1: Yeah.

02:25:27
Speaker 2: And he bought a house in Nashville, so he's a neighbor.

02:25:31
Speaker 9: Is he by you?

02:25:32
Speaker 7: Uh?

02:25:33
Speaker 2: He's like between me and Franklin. Okay, he's got he has a river on his property and like two fully stock ponds. He also the house that he got to not the like era all your stuff, Brock, but I'm going to he bought they got it from like a former I don't know if it was like a rock star or a country music artist, but he built like a twenty five thousand square foot barn to store his tour buses in twenty Yes, it's huge, it's got bad, it's got it's got bedrooms in it, it's got a full basketball court in it. It's insane. So like he's gonna, I think they're gonna renovate his house and then he's just gonna live in the barn for him.

02:26:10
Speaker 1: Is in your comba by the way, right now.

02:26:12
Speaker 2: Dude, you're gonna like that. Two nicotines, two n zs the lemon cherry. Yeah, they're good for your brain fire. I'll take one.

02:26:24
Speaker 1: N z is for those of you that are listening to here. The can popping en z is a nicotine alternative. There's no in it, brought for us to try and they are delicious.

02:26:32
Speaker 5: Actually just a consumer no zero.

02:26:34
Speaker 2: What can you read the ingredients on Gruman.

02:26:36
Speaker 1: Is asking for one of the opposite side of the bus right.

02:26:38
Speaker 2: Now, Yeah, read the ingredients on the front underneath the where it'sys focus.

02:26:42
Speaker 5: Alpha GPC sounds good, l tyroscene sounds good, l sounds good.

02:26:49
Speaker 2: Fifteen count there's fifteen of them. That's an ingredient.

02:26:53
Speaker 1: That's an ingredient. They do taste really.

02:26:54
Speaker 2: Good though, once one, they're delicious.

02:26:57
Speaker 5: What were the obviously you guys had a bunch of injuries last Yeah, sure, But what were the vibes of the squad throughout the year, Like, I'm sure you guys stayed optimistic, you guys, businesses, business is done, Let's get back to work, Let's remain positive. You guys got a lot of great leadership, you know, going into last year. Like we would talk about it too, It's kind of like you got a lot of your core guys that are back right, and you guys are an older team in the sense of you guys have all played with each other very long time for sure, So it felt like last year was a year. It's like if they're going to do it this year, that year is going to be the year because guys will you know contracts in the way Deeposne had to pay Party, right, you had to pay Party Like you knew that was coming. So to have the year that you guys had, what were the vibes like like during throughout the entire.

02:27:38
Speaker 2: Season, Uh, disappointing, I would say, like we kept the like everyone was still in like good spirits as you know, as much you can, because like you're, all of our aspirations are whin a Super Bowl, right, especially when you come off losing one. It's like, ah, you know, all I want to do is we're going to get back then we want to win it, and like they're just when you lose your offsive MVP Christian McCaffrey, Yeah, that suck. Like when he came back for those three games, though, I could not have been more excited. I was like, thank goodness, I'm so pumped for this. So like he didn't play and dude, he was like he was like he found his rhythm that game. They got hit like he had like fifty yards on four carries, and then he gets hurt, which that.

02:28:16
Speaker 5: Long when he had too like I had like a anytime TD going on.

02:28:21
Speaker 2: I'm so sorry for you. That affected your whole year. But like so it's tough. It's like when he got hurt, so we lose him and then like Bosa Deel with injuries. I missed two games. I you got hurt. Deebo's kind of hurt on and off party missed two games. It was just like and then Hardgrave are starting the tackle tears his trice up in week two, Week three, so then we lose him. Then another detacker got hurt. So just like it was one of those years where you like you have so many new guys in the building.

02:28:51
Speaker 1: Like week four, Yeah, nothing's going right. No even defensively, like all the cats, like the roster on paper.

02:28:57
Speaker 5: Yeah looked really yeah yeah.

02:29:00
Speaker 2: Funga came back and then like hurt his wrists. He missed like four weeks immediately. It was just like everybody just was just it was like just weird little injuries all the time.

02:29:09
Speaker 1: It was Greenlaw the one that walked off the field like he was he was supposed to go back in the game.

02:29:12
Speaker 5: And then didn't know no, no, no doubt.

02:29:16
Speaker 1: Campbell. That was Devondra Campbell was playing for Greenlow because he tore his achilles in the Super Bowl and green Law was coming back and he got mad and walked off.

02:29:25
Speaker 5: Yes, that's what happened during the game.

02:29:26
Speaker 1: How did How are we handling it in the locker room? Because the consensus on the buses, the forty nine ers probably have the best locker room as far as vibes leadership. The whole thing. Our culture is awesome. You have a great you have a great culture. So I assumed that was handled.

02:29:39
Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm appreciated that security escorted him off the property and said don't come back.

02:29:43
Speaker 5: Yeah, because he got hand the next day.

02:29:45
Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, oh yeah yeah, well yeah, is there any parting words? No, you're saying anybody? So, Like, I had no idea until I saw him walking off the field, and apparently there's like a whole bunch of stuff, like John Lynch came out of the suite and was like yelling at him.

02:29:59
Speaker 5: Really, were you guys, as were you guys surprised if that went down because you're kind of like.

02:30:05
Speaker 2: Being in the lot to that extent, Yes, like for that to happen, Yes, I was surprised. Hey there's Mike Anderson, our head of security. He's the man. Loved Mike. He uh he's our head of security for tighten you every single year. He's the man. But yeah, that was that was a wild experience. But like Kyle and John handled it and no one saw him again. It's pretty wild. I just don't know if uh.

02:30:32
Speaker 1: Not a good move, No, not a good career move. If you're upset about a situation. You wait till the games over, you go talk to the GM. I'm not happy trade me or cut me. Yeah, but to do that, you're just showing thirty one other teams.

02:30:43
Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that you're about you. Yeah, you're probably not getting another shot, right. I don't know if anyone else is going to sign him.

02:30:49
Speaker 5: Well, the way he would post and stuff afterwards to it almost seemed like, I don't know if it's true.

02:30:54
Speaker 1: Actually in his mind, but he kind of postures like that too, like he doesn't need it. It's it's all individual, it's all business.

02:31:00
Speaker 2: I used to I used to like sona with him all the time, and uh, I had play a good conversation with him throughout the He was a.

02:31:06
Speaker 5: Good player, he was a good middle linebacker.

02:31:09
Speaker 1: Was first team All prom Yes, he had he was a dog at Green Bay.

02:31:12
Speaker 2: He was a dog green Bay. He was good in Atlanta.

02:31:14
Speaker 1: Yeah, he was a cat that came out of got drafted out of Minnesota.

02:31:17
Speaker 2: Yeah.

02:31:17
Speaker 1: He was a beast dude. So, but that was a wild unraveling.

02:31:23
Speaker 2: That was a that was just for like, for the year that we were having and then that happens. Two You're just like, yeah, and then like in that game too, Drake Grin that got hurt again, and like he was gonna miss therest of the season anyways, and so we're all just like, what is this season?

02:31:37
Speaker 1: Right? He was just stuck around for a few plays. He would have been like, oh, okay, yeah, I'm back in.

02:31:41
Speaker 2: Yeah, it was insane.

02:31:43
Speaker 1: Well, mama, do you guys know it's you guys are pretty much out of it.

02:31:47
Speaker 2: When we we dropped back to back UH conference games, we lost too. We lost to the Rams in l A. Like we I think I didn't play in that game. I had a hammy, so I me and Andy wouldn't play that game, but like, we play good enough to win. Did make a couple of plays on the stretch. Lost, and then the next week we lost at home to the Cardinals. And after that one, I was like, this is gonna be a great Like we're gonna have to it's gonna be a gritty year for us to have to figure this one out.

02:32:14
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's no longer in your hands anymore.

02:32:16
Speaker 2: No, there's yeah. Yeah, we lost the Rams, We lost the Cardinals, and the Chiefs came in beat the ship out of us, and then we go to Tampa that was Christian's first game back. Things are looking good. And then we lost the Seahawks at home. Yeah, Seahawks Packers Bills. Not fun. That was a three game stretch. I had a great game. I'd like one hundred fre of the yards in the first half. It was sick. Yeah, that was a tough one. The Rams game was brutal.

02:32:42
Speaker 1: Those scoring games like that too just suck.

02:32:44
Speaker 2: Well, was a rat. It's so crazy, like it rains in California in December like on and off, and but it's like twice a week and then it just happens a downpour on that one Thursday night game or wherever it was Sunday night game. It was Thursday night. That was a tough one. Go to Miami not good. The Lions game was really fun. I got a thousand yards in that game. I had a ton of fun. They played man coverage the whole game. I was cooking. And then the last game of the year, like, dude, last game of the season, we had we had two guys rotating in at left tackle because no, what was it. It was in the Dolphins game, we lost our backup left tackle because Trent Williams was out. We lost Jalen Moore, who just signed the Chiefs, and then we lost our starting left guard Aaron Banks and that Miami Dolphins game, so we had just new guys playing that game. And so then the last two games of the year, the last two games of the year, we had like I think it was three starting offensive linemen and no one starting wide receiver and our third enforcery running back. It was that was that was a tough way to in the season.

02:33:49
Speaker 1: When you get to December and you're just like, you know, you're pretty much out of it or you are out of it. It is tough to rally the troops.

02:33:55
Speaker 2: It is tough to.

02:33:56
Speaker 1: See the older guys and you're just like, ma'am, they don't give a fuck.

02:34:00
Speaker 2: Yeah, And then I was, I mean I didn't. I only played like fifteen snaps in the last game the season because I was like, look, like, what what do you want from me at this point? Like I love football, but I also want to continue to play at a high level for a long time. And I was like we had a plan and we were like, hey, you're gonna play a half, and I'm like, all right, I'll play a half. Sounds great. And then like third play of the game, our rookie running back gets rolled up on and just starts screaming like he broke his leg, and I looked at him. I was like, I looked at the side and I was like, get me off of this fucking field, Like, holy cow.

02:34:32
Speaker 1: Are you are you bringing that conversation to them or they?

02:34:34
Speaker 2: Oh? Yeah, No, I mean, like I think I just went and talked to Kyle about it because he has an open door policy, and we just talked about it for a little bit and he was like, I don't want you to play the whole game. It's like I get where we are. It is what it is, like, just go out there, have a good week of practice with the boys, like try to keep the spirits up. And then uh, because that was Josh dobbs first game too, so you know, I was excited to see what he would do. And it was just it was a tough one and then all the fun thing about that game the last game of the year would have been Juwan Jennings was going for one thousand yards for the first time in his career and he got ejected like he was like thirty yards away and he had to play like because Juan's a blocker. Like you pull up any highlight that dude, Yeah he is is he is an asshole? Yeah, he was twenty five yards away. He got ejected in like the second quarter, and our whole game plan was just feed Juan to break a thousand, which is like those are really fun game plans to be a part of. Yeah, like everyone wanted Jawan to break a thousand.

02:35:25
Speaker 1: What happened for him to get ejected?

02:35:26
Speaker 2: So he blocked the dude on a run. I don't know if he was a passer run, but he's blocking a dude and like pancakes him, and then the dude gets up and they like start fighting. So they both get fifteen yard penalties and like he didn't throw a punch once none, Like he gets jumped by like three Cardinals players, and so there's two penalties offsetting. And then Larry the next play, it's an outside zone and he's blocking like one of the Cardinals dbs is like yelling at him, and like Larry just grabs him and throws him down, and so then they're doing that and Juwan gets ejected, but he never got fined for because the NFL reviewed the film and like he did nothing wrong. He shouldn't have been ejected. So he missed out on a thousand yard season just for no reason. That when you're it is the best part about this play was a ref was running over this breaking up and popped his handy. Was right in front of me, and I'm like jogging over because like I'm going over and he's in front of me and he just grabs his handy and goes down. I'm like, oh, sir, sir, let me okay, sir, are you okay? He was like no, I'm not. I'm like, oh no, dude, let me. So I didn't get over there. I was. I was picking up a ref and helping him off the sideline.

02:36:29
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, everything.

02:36:33
Speaker 2: Yeah, ref pulls his hand me running back down. Then our started right, tab gets a high ankle spray in like the halfway the second quarter, like what are we doing here? Because like Bosa shut it down, Deebo shut it down. I was like, get me out, get me off this field please. Yeah, that was me. That was literally I was like, oh no, man, this place is so scary right.

02:37:00
Speaker 5: When you're in the when you're in the locker room and like the the core leadership that you guys have when you're losing, you're starting to get stressed from all angles, the locker rooms getting stressed.

02:37:09
Speaker 2: Yeah, it's all that stuff.

02:37:11
Speaker 5: We're able talks about guys getting clicks. You got this loser mentality. What are you learning about your team and the roster? Like, because you end up seeing guys more true colors, like when they're out of it, Guys like planning months in advance with their off season looks like trying to get out of it.

02:37:25
Speaker 1: What are you learn about season?

02:37:27
Speaker 2: Yeah?

02:37:27
Speaker 5: Are you like seeing your mind you know, probably for the first time in a long time, being in that spot where you're like, we need to get guys like this, We got to clean up the locker.

02:37:35
Speaker 1: Room a little bit.

02:37:36
Speaker 2: I will say that we didn't really experience that much last year. We're pretty fortunate, like like we've developed a pretty awesome culture in my opinion, and like guys love being there, Guys love playing football, and like also when you have guys like me fred Bosa, even like McCaffrey's still around every single day, like still being him, Juice, Trent Williams, like the the court group, like we're all to like, hey, look, I know it's the year that we want. But one like one story was it. I think it was my first or second year, we had a Especial TAMS coordinator or Richard high Tower. I think he's with the Bears right now. But he was like, because we stunk my first two years, yeah, And he was like, you guys, you're not playing like at this point, if you're on a one year deal, you're not playing for the Niners. At this point, you're playing for your own career, So like, why not go out there and play, like, go have the three best special Teams games of your life or the best games of your life so that someone will sign you next year. And so if you look at it like that, like guys are still playing really hard and stuff like that, it's just like you have so many new guys in the building who aren't like weren't a part of the culture in the off season, in training camp, throughout the beginning of the season. So it's just the vibes are still like good, it's just I mean, just losing sucks in general. So like there's just only so much you can do. But I was like, we didn't really have anybody that was, you know, besides Devander Campbell, that was like ready to quit on the team. Everyone else was going out there every single day practicing hard, doing good stuff and like to like coaches didn't quit at all, like Kyle still come up with fun game plans and stuff like that. Just it's hard when you don't where you're missing. I mean we had like four total starters on it. Yeah, party didn't play in the last game. Like we had like four total starters start in the last game. Yeah, it was wild.

02:39:12
Speaker 1: Yeah, are you nervous at all going into that offseason? Like maybe they the front office might just go, hey, we need to blow this thing up and start regathering things, or do you have a pretty good with your relationship. I mean you're talking about going to the president and changing the lighting system. You're going to the head coach's office being like, hey, listen, you know, should I really be out there? Like those are very unusual conversations to have.

02:39:36
Speaker 2: They are, but I mean, like, shoot, man, I've been Me and Shannon were rookies together with the Niners, Like that was his first head coaching job. Is John Lynch's first gym job. So like, I know, we've been on the same page for a long time and the older I've gotten the more I've played, like the more comfortable I feel talking to them about certain things. The I don't know, man, this just continually just having those open conversations I think is healthy for a team. And I've never like once ever gone in a How's office like that uncomfortable, Like no matter, Like I mean he he at one time I was like twenty twenty one, he got on my ass because I was like he didn't like the like a couple of practice reps that I had when we were doing a joint practice, and then he roasted me for it in a team meeting, which is fine and I'm okay with that, but like it's never affect our relationship. He's a head coach, Like I want him to coach me as hard as possible.

02:40:20
Speaker 1: Yeah, So, like.

02:40:21
Speaker 2: I mean, he's also a guy, Like I go to cobble with him almost once a year and we golf and you know, drink and then during the season we grind, which is pretty fun.

02:40:29
Speaker 1: That is a really cool relationship.

02:40:30
Speaker 2: Yeah, Like there's us with his son Carter. It's crazy. Now Carter is I think he's a freshman or sophomore in high school and he's he's like just like he's getting he's getting yoked a little bit.

02:40:41
Speaker 1: Yeah, he's getting muscles.

02:40:42
Speaker 2: Oh dude, I think he has to drink like five protein shakes a day and just works out. He does like two days. He's like just lives in the gym. I love it. Carter is the man and Mandy, his wife, is one of my favorite people.

02:40:53
Speaker 1: And a crazy seeing guys like basically growing like their kids grow up.

02:40:57
Speaker 2: Oh my god, it's crazy. They're all so young right there. The best is like if you look at my one of my favorite things, like a coach who's been there for a long time, if you look at him from their first year to their last year, like remember like the like the pre and post photos of like Obama when he got into office.

02:41:12
Speaker 5: Stress, the stress that takes over.

02:41:14
Speaker 2: Yeah, like look at him there, and then if you look at this year, like it's just a totally different person.

02:41:21
Speaker 1: Oh my god, he's wearing it that.

02:41:24
Speaker 2: That's twenty nineteen, Like that's only three years into his job. Oh my god, it's so funny.

02:41:29
Speaker 1: Dude. That tree is crazy. That's the re's of Redskins tree.

02:41:32
Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, the Redskins tree is insane. Yeah, Yeah, a different person gray. Dude, he's rocking a mustache right now, too good for him with and he has the hair coming out the back to let us.

02:41:42
Speaker 1: Is he to keep that going? Oh?

02:41:43
Speaker 2: I think he's in Yeah, he's uh, yeah, he does a good job. I love it. I'm like, please keep the stash now, that's Nick Sorenson mustache.

02:41:50
Speaker 1: Is uh tend to change cultures, Mike Rabel when he did it in twenty nineteen, change the culture. Arthur Smith also had one.

02:41:57
Speaker 2: All right, I look at that stash he wore that. That was at McCaffrey's wedding.

02:42:01
Speaker 1: That is that's a mob boss, right, that's hot.

02:42:04
Speaker 2: That is a guy that when I saw I was like you.

02:42:07
Speaker 1: You've finished, Everent.

02:42:08
Speaker 2: I was like, let's fucking go, Kyle. You look awesome.

02:42:12
Speaker 1: He's got to keep that. You got to petition that with the team, like everybody on the team to sign off on that.

02:42:15
Speaker 2: I got in trouble for this photo. Paparazzi got me holding the corona. Can not bud light. Oh that is they didn't have any bud light. But look at my branding on it. Though. Look I'm holding it. I'm so good. You're a pro. That is a proud Light call. Uh No, my marketing guy called me. He was like, don't do that. I'm like all right. So then I literally had a hotel guy went and he bought me like five twenty four packs of bud Light and I just carried bud Light around me the entire wedding and we went through all of them in like two hours. It was pretty fun. Me and Greg Olsen did a lot of those beer.

02:42:52
Speaker 1: Dude, how cool is it being a bud Light athlete.

02:42:54
Speaker 2: It's one of my favorite things.

02:42:55
Speaker 1: It's the greatest.

02:42:57
Speaker 2: It's they take amazing care of you. I wish they would sell those kittle lights. That'd be so fun they got. But I got in trouble for that with the NFL because they did me. Travis and Greg.

02:43:09
Speaker 5: Yeah, I remember that year going into your guys a little the gifts. Sweet dude. I feel like Titan, you just gets better and better every year. It's it sounds like you're in it now.

02:43:18
Speaker 2: Yeah.

02:43:19
Speaker 5: I mean, I'm sure there's there's a lot of variables. A lot of people do a lot of great work around Titan, and you bring in the content creation, bringing it outside people to interact. But it seems like that there's more. Uh, you're adding more events and stuff and and cool elements for people to come to Nashville. Yeah, maybe a little bit more less on the.

02:43:36
Speaker 2: Field we are, and like that's one thing we talked about this year because we usually do two field days with two like film session stuff. And I would say fifty to seventy five percent of the guys that show up every year have been there for at least three or four years, which cudos. Look at Ryan Fitzpetrick. I think he's actually coming to the Tuesday one. It's just like his wife, it's their anniversary and he's still gonna come.

02:43:57
Speaker 1: Shout out to him the show next week too, buddy. Yeah.

02:44:01
Speaker 2: But but like we we just try to change it up a little bit as much as we can. It's like this year on Wednesday, stead of doing a football we're doing a golf out in like a four be four scramble tournament, which that will be really fun, fun. I'm looking forward to it. We just try to, like what a guy's into, trying to just have the most fun possible. But I am excited. Like I said, we have Jeremy Shockey coming.

02:44:22
Speaker 1: Oh.

02:44:22
Speaker 2: Look, we have a we have a website good job. We'rebecan.

02:44:26
Speaker 5: You got the boy, you got the boys helping host the concert.

02:44:29
Speaker 1: Yeah.

02:44:29
Speaker 2: No, I was really pumped about that. You guys are gonna have a great time. Have you seen a lineup? It's insane.

02:44:34
Speaker 1: I don't think I'm sure it's come across our desk.

02:44:36
Speaker 2: I don't think I can share it because it's like it's supposed to be secret because they think, wait.

02:44:40
Speaker 5: Which day is the concert?

02:44:41
Speaker 1: Tuesday?

02:44:41
Speaker 2: Tuesday night?

02:44:42
Speaker 5: This comes out on too, This will be Tuesday when people are listening. Oh all right, maybe you could save the lineup.

02:44:48
Speaker 2: Yeah sh at this point, hopefully I don't get yelled at, but it is what it is. Let's see what do we got. Nope, not that one?

02:44:57
Speaker 9: All right?

02:44:58
Speaker 2: So we got my boys whaling Stone. I played football at Iowa with Andrew Stone. They're like a duo whiskey and a wineglass. I don't know if you've ever heard that song. Tucker Bethard sang it at one point, but they wrote it. Then Tucker Bethard is performing for the first time, which I'm excited about. CJ. Yeah, really excited about that. My guy kid Quill, who's coming in, who's like wrapping pop is what I would says. He's an Indiana kid too. I love him. He's got awesome music. He comes to Kittlefest every year. Just the homie of all homies. Then we got Sophia Scott Graham Barram, who sings oil Money. Remember that video that came out with the girl from No. That's Laney Wilson, isn't it. That's Sophia Scott. Yeah, so she she sings for us, Graham Barhm. I Larry found his music on TikTok and I just DMed him and he was like, dude, I'm there. Sounds great. He's also coming to kittle Fest. Shout out, Graham your DM game.

02:45:51
Speaker 1: It just blows me away. Yeah.

02:45:54
Speaker 2: No, So I'm excited about him. He's got some fun music. We got Nico Moon that'll be fun. Ernest is coming. We got Jordan Davis, we got Chase Rice, and then we got Kane Brown.

02:46:07
Speaker 1: Lineup.

02:46:08
Speaker 2: It's a good lineup.

02:46:09
Speaker 5: That's a good lineup. That's a good line up.

02:46:11
Speaker 1: Davis.

02:46:12
Speaker 2: I know I need, I need Jordan Davis to come to kittle Fest. He said he would, but haven't had confirmation. That'd be huge. Jelly Roll is Unfortunately, he's got like a show in Utah on Tuesday. He's like, it is it Monday or Wednesday? Because I can be there. I'm like, no, of course, you have a show on a Tuesday.

02:46:26
Speaker 1: Right, Dang it, he'll be at Kittlefest, right.

02:46:29
Speaker 2: I think he he can't go to either this year or something really sad about he told me that. I have it on video where he said what's a He's like, I have a ten year residency at Kittlefest and I said, sign it. He's locked in. He has to be here every year for ten years. He missed last year, and I don't think he'll be there this year.

02:46:46
Speaker 5: So he's came one time.

02:46:48
Speaker 2: He went, he's done twice.

02:46:50
Speaker 5: He's on because I remember that first time. He's like, hey, will you think you think George would let me come to kittle Fest and maybe play a couple of songs.

02:46:57
Speaker 1: I was like, I'm pretty sure you could do whatever.

02:46:59
Speaker 2: You want if you well, no, it's great. He the best. Like he showed up. He's like, do you have any uh tequila? I'm like I do and just gave him the bottle and he's like, nice, do you like care if I got smoke at all? I'm like no, He's like, where do you want me to go? It's I don't know, you're outside. I don't care. Man, He's like, I love this place. There's Uncle Laser ripping the harmonica.

02:47:18
Speaker 1: That was a unique individual.

02:47:21
Speaker 2: One of the one of the funniest things about that. Remember, that's one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

02:47:29
Speaker 1: Like that was the perfect crowd because it was the worst crowd for him.

02:47:35
Speaker 2: My mom was beside herself and like, I had a bunch of my neighbors there who are like just older people, and there's like, what was what that uncle guy? Oh, he's really nice.

02:47:47
Speaker 7: Back out he was does.

02:47:50
Speaker 2: He rip a harmonica?

02:47:52
Speaker 1: Harmonica starts playing?

02:47:56
Speaker 10: Like all right?

02:47:57
Speaker 1: Yeah. I was like, dude, I'm in the back of there, just laughing faces.

02:48:01
Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like, no idea.

02:48:02
Speaker 1: It was gone.

02:48:04
Speaker 2: Last year was sick. I didn't have jelly roll. But John Party showed up and he was in a he had his huge cowboy hat on, a cut off a T shirt with like a bald eagle on it because it was a fourth July party, American flags from trunks and flip flops, and I was like, dude, you just played like one or two songs he was up there for like twenty five minutes. Was Economics go and then like Larry his last song hit and then we had fireworks go off.

02:48:30
Speaker 1: No.

02:48:30
Speaker 2: I Actually, my one thing I'm really pumped out this year for kittle Fest is that I have really good friends with a former Green Beret. His name is Ignacio, and they are going to have a guy jump out of a helicopter holding an American flag for kittle Fest to kick it off.

02:48:46
Speaker 1: That is that's fucking incredible.

02:48:48
Speaker 2: I'm really excited about that one either year. It's not very expensive either. Really Yeah, it's like four grand turns out best four four grand goes to the military, so it's like it goes these guys the troops for the troops.

02:49:01
Speaker 1: No doubt.

02:49:02
Speaker 2: That was Club Kittle.

02:49:03
Speaker 5: We might have to get that for the dad combat.

02:49:05
Speaker 2: Hey can you do me a favorite?

02:49:06
Speaker 1: Yeah?

02:49:07
Speaker 2: Yeah, that's that's on the bus. Can you do me a favor? Yeah? Shut though?

02:49:11
Speaker 1: Fuck up?

02:49:13
Speaker 2: So that was Yes, we had like club signs shout out Fabiano down in Broadway. He hooks us up every single year. That year too, we hired uh six bottle service girls from Broadway. Really yeah, fantastic. Yeah, I mean if these guys are always invited. K Yeah, June twenty eight this year is a Kittle country club. So it's all Masters themed and I have full Full Swing is sponsoring its Vegas yep, and they yeah, full Swing is sponsoring it. Yeah, that's stuff for you guys. But I'll have golf simulators up there for like the longest drive close to the pen prizes and stuffer guys. We're actually we're building like we're building like a men's locker room, so like an old school locker room. We go in it. It's like a lounge. We'll have one for guys and we'll have one for girls. Yeah, I'm pretty I'm pretty excited about it.

02:50:03
Speaker 1: Safe costs, but just doing an all gender locker room.

02:50:05
Speaker 2: Well it's open, it's open to both. Just for the vibes.

02:50:10
Speaker 1: Yeah, just for the It's cost effective.

02:50:11
Speaker 2: Right, who is calling me? That's my phone call. I'm not going to ask a roll on a flight flight. Yeah, just want to After eleven we talked for like an hour and a half. We're doing, don't we do?

02:50:23
Speaker 1: We do?

02:50:23
Speaker 5: We do have a bud light question? Yea, how people would do anything for an ice cool bud light? What would George kittle do anything for.

02:50:32
Speaker 2: No family, Give me an example, like you would that new show Space Marine show. Mm hmmm, what I do for an ice personal ambition that you is something that people would do anything for.

02:50:54
Speaker 1: What is something that you would do?

02:50:55
Speaker 2: Anything like win a super Bowl something like that. I don't know if I would cut my off.

02:51:00
Speaker 1: That was going to be a follow up, So I'm so glad.

02:51:02
Speaker 2: I don't know if I would cut my dick off.

02:51:06
Speaker 5: Would you to win a super Bowl?

02:51:09
Speaker 2: That's a good question.

02:51:10
Speaker 5: Injury to go on ir starting in week one and you're on I R the whole year and you still win, he still win.

02:51:16
Speaker 1: That's a great question.

02:51:18
Speaker 5: That really is a brutal question.

02:51:20
Speaker 2: Cannot be like year fourteen, then yes, if it's that later, if it's this year, No, I don't think I would do it. I love playing I love playing football too much. God, that would suck.

02:51:33
Speaker 5: What about injury? I are week sixteen.

02:51:37
Speaker 2: And I come back into play all the playoffs and win?

02:51:39
Speaker 5: No, No, you're out all playoffs. Wait, but you played a whole year to know? Like you, because it's like the struggle.

02:51:46
Speaker 2: You would do that. I would I would trade that. I would try that, like I can still like, do you you still get your individual accolades?

02:51:52
Speaker 12: Ye?

02:51:53
Speaker 2: And do that I don't get I would just playing a couple super Bowl Yeah, Gronk did that and he one remember that. He was like, I've won three and a half super Bowls. Now, that was one of the funniest things ever.

02:52:05
Speaker 1: Yeah.

02:52:05
Speaker 2: I would do that in a heartbeat. I would even think twice about that one. Let's see, I like that one. I'd go on IR in week sixteen for the boys.

02:52:14
Speaker 6: Umm.

02:52:16
Speaker 2: Shoot, I had some funny ones. I just don't want to really say on the pod because I'd probably get in trouble. I'll tell you that off camera, right. Would you bite on an ear off.

02:52:26
Speaker 1: To do what?

02:52:26
Speaker 2: To win a Super Bowl?

02:52:27
Speaker 1: Would I bit it a ear? Yeah?

02:52:29
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I think I would too, Like no question, Yeah, I don't think that's.

02:52:32
Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like that's not too dramatic.

02:52:34
Speaker 5: Yeah, it's not happening to me.

02:52:35
Speaker 2: Would you win the super Bowl and then you have to cut off your left hand? No, cut off your left pinky?

02:52:41
Speaker 1: Yes?

02:52:42
Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, I think I would too.

02:52:44
Speaker 1: Would you win a super Bowl but then you have to go to a prison for a year?

02:52:50
Speaker 2: Is it a good prison or like bad bad.

02:52:52
Speaker 1: Let's call it like yes, yes, yeah, not like a white collar yeah, white even though I man even.

02:53:00
Speaker 5: A rough one. They got to be sports fans.

02:53:01
Speaker 1: Boys.

02:53:02
Speaker 5: I just won the super Bowl, and the.

02:53:03
Speaker 1: Trade off was for me to we're cool, grab your ankles, yeah, yeah.

02:53:06
Speaker 2: Like yeah, you know, I gotta be like.

02:53:09
Speaker 1: Yeah, super Bowl, grab your ankle, hold the pocket, but just yeah, you know, I protect me.

02:53:13
Speaker 2: So my rookie year, yeah, my rookie year. They made all the rookies go up to San Quentin, the prison up in uh Oakley.

02:53:20
Speaker 1: Yeah.

02:53:21
Speaker 2: Yeah, and we go into the like death row area, and we're in there on a tour. And also right when we walk in, as soon as we get through the security, they're like just letting you guys know, if there's a riot, there's nothing we can do for you. And we're after security. Yeah, after we get through, and if anything happens, there's nothing we can do for you because we have to do our jobs and our job is not to protect you. I'm like, why why am I here?

02:53:41
Speaker 1: Right?

02:53:41
Speaker 9: Yeah?

02:53:42
Speaker 2: Why am I here? Yeah? I was in that room. I was in there. There were guys in those that was wild.

02:53:46
Speaker 1: Could you imagine?

02:53:47
Speaker 2: No, couldn't. But so then we go into death row and Larry Guy's like, oh, the football players here, which one you use? A tide kas I'm gonna get up in that ass. And I was like, oh, yeah, I play linebacker. Yeah yeah, absolutely not. I'm okay.

02:54:06
Speaker 1: So yeah, you're in prison, not prison, no chance, what about prison? Just prison? They kind of close her eyes, hit a roll of decks to grab one out, and they're like, this is the one. You're going to win a super Bowl?

02:54:17
Speaker 2: Yeah? Probably, I think I could do that. My wife would be really mad just because I missed her call to so stacking those problems.

02:54:23
Speaker 1: You're stacking issues.

02:54:26
Speaker 2: At least my wife. At least my wife's my best friend, Taylor.

02:54:29
Speaker 1: That is tough, feel maybe not after that you're in prison, n best friend.

02:54:35
Speaker 5: I know she'd be fine. Yeah, she'll miss so George and that vasper. All she's got to do is put somebody else in that vast.

02:54:41
Speaker 2: The good thing for me is my wife hates that's crazy. Let's talk about it.

02:54:48
Speaker 7: We can't call movies it's.

02:54:50
Speaker 2: Actualely crazy anymore. Oh my god, that's actually insane. Oh my gosh.
