00:01:01
Speaker 2: Hey, rain Drops, on today's episode of Reality with the King.

00:01:06
Speaker 1: What is going on in the OC? I feel like OC now stands for on Court?

00:01:11
Speaker 2: I don't know if oh, it's the Real Housewives of the Courthouse. Is it the Real Housewise of just confusion?

00:01:22
Speaker 1: I don't know. But with lawsuits and.

00:01:25
Speaker 2: Threats and host throwing shade, I had to do this episode with a very special guests.

00:01:34
Speaker 1: Give it up for the amazing Gibson.

00:01:37
Speaker 3: John's always a pleasure Carlos when we get together.

00:01:42
Speaker 2: It's ah, I know, it's a magical mess.

00:01:47
Speaker 1: How about that?

00:01:48
Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, I like that. I like that. Real Housewives is the Courthouse.

00:01:51
Speaker 1: That's yeah.

00:01:53
Speaker 2: So that's the new that's the title of this episode. It's called r HOC Real Housewives of the Courthouse. Let's just die right into it. There's so much happening in Orange County. But first thing first, Ryan, the boyfriend of Jen, is suing Tamra Judge.

00:02:15
Speaker 1: Y oh, FIANCEA. Okay, I'm wanna make it. I'm gonna make it very clear.

00:02:19
Speaker 2: Okay, So Jen's fiance, Ryan is suing Tamra Judge for defamation. If you saw this most recent episode, there's tons of accusations flying through Ryan's direction, involving FBI, involving scamming.

00:02:41
Speaker 1: Tamara called him a bit. It was it was. It was a whole, entire mess.

00:02:45
Speaker 2: And what we have learned is Ryan has enlisted the lawyer who worked with Jim Bellino, Alexis's ex when he sued Tamra and Shannon for defamation.

00:03:02
Speaker 1: And what we do know is that that was settled out of court.

00:03:05
Speaker 2: And what we do know is Shannon and Tamora have both said that cost them a lot of money. I don't want to quote, but I believe just in attorney fees, it was like half a million dollars.

00:03:19
Speaker 1: Yeah, you heard that.

00:03:19
Speaker 3: It was definitely like, like I think, I feel like I feel like on the premiere episode, Shannon said it was like three hundred k or something like that. It was like, it was definitely a lot of money.

00:03:28
Speaker 1: Yeah, just to defend a.

00:03:32
Speaker 3: Defamation in a live podcast recording or something like. So it's like so seemingly innocuous, right, Like so something seemingly something that like pretty much probably every real housewife has done, which is like say something kind of like outlandish on a live podcast recording and like to be hit with a lawsuit over that is wild.

00:03:52
Speaker 1: No, it's beyond wild. So now Ryan is doing Tamorra.

00:03:56
Speaker 2: And what is so interesting about all of this is I I have so many thoughts. Everyone knows I love Tamar, Josh, She's a friend of mine. I love her. Tamar is great reality television, right. She says wacky shit, she speaks what's on her mind. She sometimes gets herself in hot water. And I want the audience to know this. When you are a reality star, you sign on to do the show. You guys cannot sue each other, so it's part of the contract. That's part of your contract, because think about it, all they do is in fame each other. Right, So when Lisa Rena asked Derrie, were people doing coke in your bathroom? Intimating that Deri has a coke house, right, Deree cannot sue Lee Serena for for defamation, but PK could because PK doesn't have the same agreement that's a housewife. So the reason why Ryan and a Jambalino is able to sue these women and listen, the other scenario is Ashley Darby's a strange husband, Michael Darby sued Candace Dealer Basket for defamation. Right, That case has since been dismissed, so nothing came out of it from my understanding.

00:05:19
Speaker 3: Yeah, I remember hearing about sort of like any closure on that, but I also haven't heard about it in a while, so I, well, I would presume that it's either settled or dismissed.

00:05:27
Speaker 2: Her Yeah, yeah, yeah, one of the other all alleged, so all alledged.

00:05:33
Speaker 1: When it comes to.

00:05:34
Speaker 2: Housewives and reality stars in general, when they're on the same show as main cast, they could not sue each other.

00:05:40
Speaker 1: Ryan is suing Tamra. How do you feel about that, Gibson?

00:05:45
Speaker 3: I don't love it, to be honest, Like I totally understand where Ryan is coming from in terms of whine to clear his name. And you know, it's acknowledging that Tamra has this huge platform and she's being a little reckless with her words and that's how she can and be as we've all seen, and that's sort of what makes her great at her job. I just worry about, like and the same thing with the Michael Darby thing. I worry that like, once this kind of thing starts to become you know, you know, one is what's the phrase, like you know two is a trend or three is a trend or something like that. Like once it starts to happen more and more, then all has happened more and more, and then it's just becomes this this environment where people just feel like their husbands can sue each other. Because it almost feels like Ryan's like suing on behalf of like Jen and Ryan together almost, you know what I mean, Like it's like the husband's allowed to do it, As you said, and it's hard also because at the time they filmed this, Tamra obviously had heard about it, he said, and you're confessional. She had known for about six months that like the FBI was allegedly looking into Ryan in terms of his potential connection to this gambling scheme because they're friends with the couple that's really connected to it. And so you know what she was saying in terms of them looking you know, having some sort of connection to the FBI because they were like into him. That allegedly is true, right, but then he gets he eventually got cleared. But this was a long This was filmed months and months and months ago, so what we know now is not what they knew then. So the timeline is also tough, I think with it, Yeah, because what has been happening is Tamra was recently on Watch What Happens Live, like last week, you know, last Thursday night, and Tamra says some things about you know, Ryan allegedly stealing from a Dodgers player.

00:07:34
Speaker 1: She said on Watch What Happens Live?

00:07:37
Speaker 3: She did that, She said that she she said that she makes more money on her business than he ow's or whatever, and then she she'd obviously misspoke basically.

00:07:49
Speaker 1: Yeah.

00:07:49
Speaker 2: So the thing is Ryan felt that both of those things warranted him to sue her for defamation, because not only were things said on the show, but she also made those comments that Gibson just said on Watch What Happens Live, because prior to that, she did say that she misspoke a little bit on a.

00:08:10
Speaker 1: Couple of things.

00:08:12
Speaker 2: And when she learned that Ryan was suing her, Ryan posted a photo of the Manlila envelope.

00:08:22
Speaker 1: On her doorstep.

00:08:24
Speaker 2: And then Tamra issued a second response to this, and she said this Gibson and I would love to get your thoughts on it. So rain drops, Tamra said recently on her ig story, and I quote as I mentioned on my ig story yesterday, I would like to apologize for and correct the record on a misstatement I made on Watch What Happens Live on Thursday about Ryan. I had no reason to believe that Ryan has stolen any money. I misspoke in tying Ryan to the actions of others.

00:09:01
Speaker 1: I meant to say my company.

00:09:05
Speaker 2: Makes more money than what was stolen from the Dodger player. Unfortunately, I misspooke on live television. While Ryan and I have had ongoing issues I do apologize to him for the mistake and wish to make clear that my statement was made in error. Gibson, does that sound like a woman who is scared of spending another three hundred thousand dollars?

00:09:34
Speaker 3: Definitely, definitely, I don't think. I don't think that she misspoke. I think that she meant to say what she said, but she didn't think that he was going to have the ramifications that it did. She was almost she was playing, she was playing with fire. She was kind of like poking the bear again. I think that she poked it one too many times, you know. And Tamra's just really teetering on the edge. I think this season in a lot of different ways, and she's tempting fate a little bit, I think, and like, again, she's been here before, and so yeah, it's like in some ways, I'm like, you know, she knows how to entertain, she knows how to push the boundary. But if I were her girl, I don't know.

00:10:16
Speaker 2: No, it's scary because the thing is this, I love the whole cast and you know this, Gibson, I am a change fan of this season.

00:10:22
Speaker 1: I think this season is.

00:10:23
Speaker 3: It's a great season.

00:10:24
Speaker 1: It's super spectacular.

00:10:27
Speaker 2: I have some of my podcasts that Tamar Judge is needed for the show. She is a fantastic reality star because she gets it. Not defending anybody in the situation, right, because I'm not picking any sides.

00:10:39
Speaker 1: Tamar knows how to provide good television.

00:10:41
Speaker 2: Yeah, I do think a lot of what people believe is that.

00:10:47
Speaker 1: It's at the expense of people's real lives. Right.

00:10:51
Speaker 2: So I've been very honest about, you know, the way tamarra is sort of.

00:10:59
Speaker 1: Talking to Shannon and constantly doing these.

00:11:03
Speaker 2: What people are presumed to be digs as Shannon's sobriety or lack thereof, you know, in terms of how Tamar feels. And I'm like, listen, I don't think it's the nicest thing in the world. And I said, however, we don't see what Tamar may have seen, and we don't know.

00:11:21
Speaker 1: She knows way more than we do.

00:11:23
Speaker 2: So I've always tried to give the audience another side of it. Because Tamar's having a difficult season. A lot of people are now calling for her termination, and they were calling for that doing the Shannon Tobacco which I'm like, guys, like, she makes good TV.

00:11:43
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, Now, but this, Yeah.

00:11:45
Speaker 2: Get real, like we were all bored with Tamara, wasn't on the show, like stop? Do you think Tamar has gone too far in her quest to make television by what she said recently by.

00:11:55
Speaker 3: Ryan, not in a way that would merit her being fired by means I don't think, Like I mean, I'm so not in that train. I do like disagree with a lot of the way that she's handling a lot of these situations. And I think that like one dynamic that I think is interesting is that you know, she dishes it a lot, and she dishes it a lot in a really intense way and again in a way that delivers good TV, but she doesn't really take it that much. I don't know if it's people are afraid of coming at her or they just don't play that way. But at a certain point it's going to come back to her at the same velocity and with the same power that she dishes it. And I think that we saw an element of that with the Vicky situation when Vicky came for her situation with her daughter and it kind of broke Tamera for a little bit there when she was recovering from that. From that procedure, but like a lot of these women on the show aren't coming for her in that way. And I think that this is sort of Ryan taking action against false claims that she's making against him. That's sort of that's that's sort of an example of that kind of Finally, and I don't, you know, I hope that I hope that they can like figure it out without it becoming some like ugly legal battle. They're all spending all their money on this like kind of frivolous thing. But he clearly fills some type of way about it. He's entitled to that. But no, I don't think the tamor should be fired over something like this. I mean, I just don't.

00:13:22
Speaker 1: I just no. I mean, listen, I don't either. I don't either. Listen.

00:13:25
Speaker 2: This is where things are getting tricky when it comes to reality television, right, And we're not going to get into the Kenya Moore Atlanta Housewives of it All, because yeah, we'll talk about that in twenty twenty five when the when the season supposedly is going to air that year.

00:13:40
Speaker 1: But there is this thing that has been said.

00:13:43
Speaker 2: On the birth of what Kenya Moore allegedly did it terms of is there like a ceiling when it comes to, you know, being a reality star, being over a housewives, Like when is too much too much?

00:13:59
Speaker 1: Or when are you just doing your job right?

00:14:02
Speaker 2: And I do feel like in this climate there seems to be this sort of consciousness of are people too sensitive or are people taking things too far?

00:14:14
Speaker 1: I am one of the few people who love Ryan.

00:14:17
Speaker 2: I've always said I think Ryan is great television.

00:14:20
Speaker 1: I think he is I like I like interesting people. And again, I don't know. I'm not following.

00:14:26
Speaker 3: He's hard to figure out, which is in a good way.

00:14:28
Speaker 1: Yeah, and I love his jackets, you know. I love Ryan and I think he's great personality. Yeah, he's great TV.

00:14:36
Speaker 2: And listen, I don't follow sports, so I don't know what's going on in this Dodger's bullshit.

00:14:42
Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not following. Again, I am following Jin on Housewives though, right who we You and I and love Housewives.

00:14:50
Speaker 2: I was just about to say, you and I both agree. She is one of the best newcomers.

00:14:57
Speaker 1: On OC that I've sharen Congevity in a while.

00:15:00
Speaker 2: She is the quintessential o C housewife and she has staying power on the show. And Ryan is so interesting that I'm invested in their relationship and in their storyline.

00:15:13
Speaker 1: I for some reason, this is my theory.

00:15:16
Speaker 2: I think Ryan wanted to teach Tamara lesson in terms of like enough is enough?

00:15:24
Speaker 3: You know, which is valid?

00:15:25
Speaker 1: Yeah, listen, call me a crazy man. I don't think Ryan is going.

00:15:31
Speaker 2: To pursue this to the degree of it going to court. I think Ryan, and this is no shade Ryan. What he did to me is working in the sense of Tamar Judge apologized twice, and that's why that's rare.

00:15:51
Speaker 3: Twice. Yeah, that's so rare. Yeah. I think Carlos, the point that you made earlier about sort of the climate that we're in and sort of is there a seal on sort of what I would put under the category of like villainous behavior on reality TV that I think camera's so good at. I think the line is sort of moving in terms of like what people like will tolerate. And I also think that there's this tension between what people will accept in a reality show environment and in real life and those are not Those are two very different scenarios and setups and environments. But like, I think some people are conflating some of that and I'm not defending everything, and I'm not going to defend a lot of stuff that's happened on the show this season, but it's been a great season and like that's sort of how the game is played. And so I think that like there's this weird environment online, especially where there's sort of like this moralizing of reality TV, which is like, well that's not okay, you know, and like that's that's that's bad, and it's like, well, if you want all good behavior on reality TV, then like what, then good luck watching that show, you know what I mean, Like have fun that shows That's not the show that I want to watch. And you know, all of these people know that when they sign up for this, they're really opening themselves up to a lot, not just their lives, but just any other things that come in with that. And you know, I don't know, like I it's such a hard thing, but I air on the side of like I'm not calling for people to be fired because they're exhibiting bad behavior on the show. Tamar's clearly in the mindset to apologize and the reunions coming up, and I think they all know the unions coming up, right, they all they are all very hyper aware of that, and I have been saying I need Tamar to come into this reunion apologizing for some stuff and owning some stuff because we need some We need her to show a little bit of a contrition, and I think she's already showing that, and so that kind of actually gives me hope that we will see an apologetic and more vulnerable Tamera. But maybe that's just what we're thinking. But I think your point that she should too apologies over this. She's down, she's down to kind of have the tail with in her legs a little.

00:18:01
Speaker 1: Bit, oh for sure. For sure, for sure.

00:18:03
Speaker 2: And listen, I think it shows you, guys that Tamarra isn't delusional to the point where she's like, efit whatever I said. What I said, because a lot of reality stars are. I do agree with you in the sense of when it comes to Tamara Judge being fired, like stop it, she's great TV.

00:18:22
Speaker 1: Tamar Judge does not deserve to be fired.

00:18:24
Speaker 2: Now listen, if you want to hold her accountable, fine, that's what we like to see. But the idea of this woman being fired for saying I'll land this stuff, then fire the whole fucking cast of like every reality show no to man because everybody says the wildest things, and it doesn't mean that they can't be in a position to say, Okay, I could do better, and I want the world to know that. Again, I don't think Ryan, I don't see him going far with it.

00:18:56
Speaker 1: I think he wanted Tamar to know, like, be before.

00:19:00
Speaker 2: You continue, yeah, because that's the difference before you continue to proceed down this road saying more outland as shit, let me stop this now, And that's why a lot of that period yeah, to let you know and I'm serious and Tamra, I do believe after they takee the reunion, which allegedly is happening this week, I don't think Tamar is ever going to open her mouth and say anything about Ryan Ebergen, which.

00:19:29
Speaker 3: Is probably wise. And the thing. The last thing I'll say about sort of how Tamra is handling the season. I think that she went in reading the fan base in one way and it was kind of ended up kind of ended up being a misread. And then I also think that there is even though I don't agree, there is something to be said about losing too much of the audience, Like I think a lot of the audience is so down on Tamra and they're so on the Tamra hate train because of how she's acting, and that's just a dangerous game to play. Like, you know, I think you can always win a large portion of the audience back because the audience is so we're such a fickle viewership. But you know, most people that are that talk about this show that I've seen, really are dunking on her in a major way. And I'm just curious how she how much of that she can just pull back and how quickly.

00:20:24
Speaker 2: Child we are just getting started. This is reality with the King, and I'm Carlos King. Let's get back into the show. Yeah and listen. The other person who's suffering through a lot of backlash and craziness online is Alexis Blino, and I want to get your thoughts on this gift sent John.

00:20:54
Speaker 1: So.

00:20:54
Speaker 2: Alexis Blino recently posted a message on her social media. I'm going to paraphrase, but she has allege that you know, we're not seeing everything. The show is being edited to pay her and not the best light. That the truth will come out soon and she's going to do it very soon. This is her career and she takes it very seriously and she can't wait for the truth to come out. What were your thoughts on that based on that particular post.

00:21:33
Speaker 3: In some way, you know, I do believe that there's probably some stuff that was not related to John and Shannon that's left on the cutting room floor. I believe that they film a lot on this show. But Emily and Gina did an interview last week after she had posted that, and they were basically like, listen, We've been on the show for six years and we have never once complained about the edit. Never once. We've never called production about some of we weren't happy with seeing on the show. And to me, that implied that Lexus has done that. And I've actually heard that she has.

00:22:08
Speaker 1: And you heard that she contacts the production.

00:22:13
Speaker 3: Yeah, I have heard that.

00:22:14
Speaker 1: To say, what.

00:22:16
Speaker 3: Though, like, like to do I think she was doing some of that's complaining behind the scenes basically, and like she wasn't happy with what she was seeing on the show. And I think now she's taken in public and I think she's deleted that post since then, and she hasn't posted any of her stuff on Instagram work because she said in this post, like I'm going to go on Instagram after every single episode and show you what you didn't see starting with episode one, and she hasn't done any of that, so I kind of think that someone's gotten to her and being like Okay, well, like if you do that, like you're breaking your contract or something like that, Like that's all allegedly speculation, but it's like, I think the post went away, and I don't know. I think if you're blaming the edit, if you're blaming production, that's a dangerous game to play. And I also I'm like, nobody put these words into your mouth. Nobody did these things for you that we're seeing with our own eyes on this show, So like, yeah, maybe it's like hyper concentrated because of how it's edited, but you did say all these things, you did act this way, and I think we would still all feel the same way about it even if it was like edited differently.

00:23:16
Speaker 2: Yeah, And I also think, to listen, it's hard to be a friend of to the show because you don't you're not allowed to show your full life, right. I like Alexis. I think she's great TV. I think she brought so much to this season. I would love to see the full life run. Yeah, and I love that. The thing is this, it's not easy to be a lightning rod. It just isn't.

00:23:40
Speaker 1: Now.

00:23:40
Speaker 2: I do understand the deficit that Alexis may be feeling, because at least you get to say to yourself, I'm a housewife and you know, they showed me my children or something.

00:23:50
Speaker 1: Like that, Like there's other things you can see.

00:23:53
Speaker 2: I think because Alexis is a friend of she's limited to only showing her and Shannon's dynamic when it comes to John Jansen and her defending John. So again, I don't know what's going on with the editing. I'm not producing that show, but my personal feeling is I just believe that unfortunately, when you are a friend to the show, you are limited in your role. And ask Marlow Hampton, who has been the longest running friend up in history next to fab Resnik, that when you are a friend of to the show, you don't get out of airtime and you are definitely driving one narrow storyline. And I don't want to see Alexis put herself in a position to where she makes enemies with production because at the end of the day, that's not going to help you come back to the show and I want her to come back to the show full time.

00:24:57
Speaker 3: Yeah, I think I do like that she's sort of like, I mean, the audience does not like her. At a lot of people the show can't stand her, but I almost am like, I think that's also one of the issues of the post is like I almost wish that she would sort of just stand ten toes down on like getting the villain at it and be like, all right, come on, bitches, like like this is me, you know what I mean, Like I almost would embrace that exactly. It's like this, at this point, we're so har into the season. It's clearly going to be a one note, you know, representation of you, and so maybe just lean into it to be honest and then come into the reunion and say your piece there, you know. And yeah, and I've said this throughout the season, is like I'm surprised that we haven't gotten more about Heather and Alexis sort of bonding over both having trans children and kind of the way that they've bonded over that, and like it's how it's opened up Alexis's world and what like whatever other things that would come out of that. But it almost feels like she maybe doesn't have permission to talk about that, either from her child or from her ex, because she talks around that a lot. You know, when when the when Heather's different initiatives around the LGBT community have come up, we see Alexus confessionals, but they're very generalized, you know. She's always like everybody in my family deserves to be themselves and things like that. So to me, that implies that maybe she's not permitted to be talking about more specifics in that story of hers, which also doesn't really help in terms of maybe giving her a more well rounded representation on the show because to me, like when when I heard that she was joining, I was like, Oh, that's going to be her entry way. You know, it's gonna be you know, and and and so that also I think hasn't helped her case either.

00:26:42
Speaker 2: Yeah, and and listen, obviously she has to show up to the reunion, and my advice to alexis, if you're listening, is use the reunion as your opportunity to vent your frustrations totally. You know what I mean, Like you can say, if I was hurt, I would say, look, I love this show. I was part of it for x amount of seasons as a full time housewife. I came back as a friend. I now know better that it's best to be a full time housewife because you're able to get more of me than this very narrow storyline.

00:27:18
Speaker 1: But I don't, you know, regret doing it.

00:27:21
Speaker 2: If given the opportunity, I would love to show the audience the full side of me. And if you hite me next season after I may become a full time housewife, then I have no one to blame by myself, do you.

00:27:34
Speaker 1: Know what I mean?

00:27:34
Speaker 2: Like, I think there's ways to like address it, but also just.

00:27:38
Speaker 3: Don't not put it on everybody else.

00:27:42
Speaker 1: Yeah.

00:27:44
Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not the healthiest way to get your point across. Although I'm saying that after this comedian named Joel Kim Booster. Uh huh, speaking of getting your point across, Gibson, I saw your tweet. First of all, you're the best on Twitter. Please follow him. He's he's hilarious because your cat, the fact that you you retweeted it and put like like.

00:28:12
Speaker 3: Well, first it was like a Sunday afternoon, and I was like, am I reading this correctly? Is this really happening right now? You know?

00:28:18
Speaker 1: It was? It was? It was it was. It was a lot so rain drops.

00:28:24
Speaker 2: In case you haven't heard, a comedian by the name of Joel Kim Booster called Shanna Badoor and I quote a pathetic drunk so allegedly.

00:28:38
Speaker 1: Okay, John, this is Joel. Oh, it's Joel. I'm sorry, Joel. John Jason is not about you.

00:28:46
Speaker 2: Okay, for one, I'm say for what, it's not about John, It's about Joel.

00:28:52
Speaker 1: Okay.

00:28:53
Speaker 2: So he is hosting this dating show that is going to be on Bravo. It's a Bravo peacock. I think it's peacock, right.

00:29:03
Speaker 3: It might be peacock. I think maybe peacock.

00:29:05
Speaker 1: Yes, it's with count I.

00:29:06
Speaker 3: Think it might be called Love Hotel.

00:29:08
Speaker 2: Apparently, Love Hotel with Countess Lewinne, Giselle Bryant, Ashley Darby and Shannon and Shannon. Okay, so he is the host of this dating show. Like Gibson said on a Sunday, he decided to tweet no even in his stories some very not some nice things about Shannon Badore and I want to be able to read the now deleted tweet. Okay, so he wrote an I quote let me pull it up for you guys, because.

00:29:50
Speaker 1: It's a doozy, he wrote.

00:29:54
Speaker 2: Just because you're a pathetic drunk on a reality television show best known for a string of failed relationships and a dui does not make you a star and does not get you the license to treat the people you work with like they are subhuman.

00:30:17
Speaker 1: Period. They will make me delete this.

00:30:22
Speaker 2: But DM me if you like to see some videos.

00:30:29
Speaker 1: Okay, I was so disturbed by this. I don't know Joel.

00:30:35
Speaker 2: I've seen him on Watching Happens Live. He's funny, you know. I enjoy watching him be a guest on Watch It Happens Live. I don't know much about him. I would have to say that is so unprofessional to vent your frustrations for the world to see. When you have producers, you have production companies, there's a there's an HR department like there there, there's there's tons of people that you can go to when when a problem arise on set, right or when you feel like somebody's being mistreated. There's proper protocols put in place for you to do that. And again, maybe he did it, I don't know, and maybe he felt like I've done it and it fell on deaf ears.

00:31:24
Speaker 1: We we don't know.

00:31:26
Speaker 2: But to run the gamut of posting this listen, for Shannon to have to be publicly and bears in this way, I don't like.

00:31:41
Speaker 1: I also don't like.

00:31:42
Speaker 2: It if Shannon is mistreating people on set, because the people on set are the the muscle behind production. And you know, listen, I'm a producer, right, so I get it, Like we're the muscle on production. We work very hard and at the end of the day, we want to be treated fairly like the stars on our shows. Right, So if Shannon is mistreating people, I don't like that either, Right, But I'm curious if what you think, like, if Shannon has mistreated somebody on set and treated people like their shit, do you go to social media to blast her and and feel like that's going to be the best response to that?

00:32:29
Speaker 3: I mean not if you want another job the network, you know what I mean? Like, I was like, that's what was honestly most shocking to me, because here's the thing. Two things can be true. One can be I mean, he clearly, very he very clearly witnessed bad behavior from Shannon, Like he didn't just do this making something up. He's witnessed things during the shoot. I think it was prompted by apparently at the rap party for it she treated his friend badly. And I don't know if this woman's associated with the show or not, but he posted like a photo with her and he was like, I love you so much and I forget to leave it all those.

00:33:02
Speaker 2: Yes, So he posted a picture of a beautiful black woman and he tagged her and.

00:33:10
Speaker 1: He said what Gibson John.

00:33:12
Speaker 2: Said, but he also said who I would go to war four and then totally and then honey, I clicked on her page and it's private, and then I'm like, is she a producer?

00:33:24
Speaker 1: Is she just a friend of yours? That's what's so confusing about it.

00:33:27
Speaker 2: But it appeared that he allegedly was defending this woman.

00:33:33
Speaker 3: Yeah, it almost felt like there was. It almost felt that there was like a straw that broke the camel's back during this rap party, after he had witnessed other things from Shannon throughout the filming, and then he kind of like instinctive. It doesn't feel like he went to anywhere else, at least based on this one incident, because it really feels like very impromptu, very off the cuff, like he just sort of like he was like they'll probably make me delete this by the morning. Basically the kind of thing like that's what it felt like to me. And again, two things can be true. She can act have acted badly, but this can also be extremely unprofessional and shocking that he took it to this place. I mean, how much should we discuss when Jersey was airing, when Louis says I hope Margaret's son suffers, how much did we talk about how fucked up that was? And now here he this guy who's hosting the show, hosting a show with housewives on it, saying that he hopes that one of them suffers. I mean, that's that's intense. Then he says he said something along the lines of like I get what John Jansen went through. Poor guy. Like he said something like that too, Like it's just really strong wording. And I also think he's listen if he's reported this, he's reported this, but like he also presented it in such a vague way in terms of what he observed off of Shannon. So it's like it leaves us to sort of fill in the blanks. And if we don't have any specifics about like something really intense that she did badly then we're kind of going to take it with a grain of salt, and like, dude, like you're airing this out in public to a bunch of people who are already sort of right now as the season is airing, are very primed to defend Shannon Badoor.

00:35:10
Speaker 1: You know.

00:35:10
Speaker 3: It's like he's talking to a fan base that is sort of like has the pitchforks ready for Shannon at this point? You know? And so it was just so ill advised. I think in so many ways it really was.

00:35:21
Speaker 1: Oh no, it was.

00:35:22
Speaker 2: And listen, it's one of those things where listen, I have my own production company, I hire host I hire reality stars. There to me just isn't a place for anyone to run to an Instagram story and have a moment where you are calling someone out and then I mean, listen, some much sobriety to me is just not something to make fun of, right, Like you could think what you want about Shannon and and listen, she signed up to do to do the show, so obviously she is susceptible to to to feedback. Yeah you know what I mean, Like that's fine, but too yeah, exactly, But to say things like you're pathetic drunk like, that's not something you say to somebody that has a drinking problem allegedly or who has been in a dui. And you're right, he said, you know, well, let's just say I can't imagine what John Jansen went through.

00:36:30
Speaker 1: Poor guy.

00:36:31
Speaker 2: Well that was quick anyway, don't regret it. Hope you screenshot it. Hope she suffers. And it's like you are just double downing on Like I was so shocked by this.

00:36:42
Speaker 3: Also, Carlos is the offer for people to DM him and he can send them videos. That was That's crazy, Like that's just I don't know. I just don't agree with this at all. And like again, I'm not excusing the bad behavior. I neither mind that something happened. Yeah, and like I really don't love the idea that she's mistreating people on a set. But think about, like again, it's the host of the show. Think about how much behavior Andy has witnessed over the past two decades. Has he ever done anything like this? Like, I mean, I've never seen a host to anything like this ever, I don't think and like, oh, this can't be the first time that a house so I was acted like a diva allegedly, you know, it's like, I don't know unless it's unless it comes out that it's something that's like really disturbing and really kind of crossing a huge line. Until then, we just don't really know. And and this is the most that we know. And I think my other thing that I really took issue with and I tweeted this was like at the beginning of that statement when he's like, you're just a reality star who's had a dui and known for having a drinking problem or whatever the wording was. To me, that just reeks of like disrespect for what she does for a living, which is being a career reality star who opens up about her life and has been doing so for a decade. And he was like the way that he was dunking on that on her just like you know the genre and like what she does for living, And here he is hosting a show about housewives and he comes to Watcher Happens Live all the time and commentates on it. It's like, if you're if you have that little respect for what she does for a living, then what are you doing hosting the show?

00:38:23
Speaker 2: You know, Yeah, you can't look down on the very people that you're supposed to be helping find.

00:38:28
Speaker 3: Love and you're making money on Yeah.

00:38:32
Speaker 2: And your on watch What Happens Live because you love reality TV. And like I said, I've seen him talk about the show, so we know that he's a Housewives fan. And again I don't know much about the guy. Like I said, I think he's funny, he's obviously talented.

00:38:45
Speaker 1: He and listen.

00:38:49
Speaker 2: I would have hope that by today there would have been a retraction of like I had a moment I apologize, like pull a tamer, Josh, like I this was this was bad, Like I can admit with things are bad, but you're right. Look at the end of the day, if if Shannon did something horrible to a crew member, then yes she should be held accountable. And trust me, I am all about that. I just always believe when you have protocols in place, there's there's there's there's various steps that you go through first before.

00:39:25
Speaker 1: You go to Instagram stories.

00:39:27
Speaker 3: Yeah, it kind of just feels like he wanted to be the story. He wanted to be a housewife in some ways, you know what I mean.

00:39:32
Speaker 2: That's of what it feels like, Oh, drop the Mike gifts and John's I be drop the fucking Mike, that was epic, So gifts and John's are you available to the host Love Hotel?

00:39:44
Speaker 3: And just you know, I am, uh the schedules open.

00:39:52
Speaker 1: Well, listen, we will see what happens with this.

00:39:55
Speaker 2: But a lot has happened OC for the past couple of days and I'm so happy that gives John's, who's very busy honey, took time out of his schedule today to recap all of this and listen. We will have more updates as this thing unfolds. And like I said, allegedly the Real Housewives of Bush County reunion is taping this week. So Gibson Johns, my last question for you, what do you hope to see on this upcoming reunion taping?

00:40:24
Speaker 3: I really the thing that I really want to see is Tamera changing her tune just a little bit, not in a way that's inauthentic, more in a way that shows that she's reflected on what went down during filming, having some sort of regret over how she acted maybe and if she doesn't believe it, then I don't want to see that. But I do think that like for to wipe the slate somewhat clean for next season for herself, honestly, it's the smartest thing to do, which is go in apologize for something, you know, show some contrition. That's really because I really like Tamara. I think that she is such an asset for the show. She's brought it back, she helped bring it back from the dead. But I don't want her to burn out because she went too hard and didn't show any didn't didn't kind of balance it out with other behavior, you know what I mean, like that sort of for the health of the show and for you know, her career too. Like I think it's the smartest thing to do. So that's that's the top line list for what I want to see on the OC reunion.

00:41:27
Speaker 1: I no agree agree.

00:41:29
Speaker 2: I want Tamara to be able to, of course hold herself accountable for some of the things that we have seen, and I think she will, but I also want her to at least give the audience some insight in terms of why she went so hard as Shannon, because we don't see everything, and I will like to sort of have her explain to us the reasoning behind the sort of you know, actions that she gave in Shannon's direct So I agree with everything you said, and I just want Tamra to be on.

00:42:07
Speaker 1: The show forever and listen.

00:42:09
Speaker 2: I don't think they're gonna fire her or anything, and she doesn't deserve to be. But I definitely think you know, this season is great too because in some word way they're getting along.

00:42:20
Speaker 1: You know, it's it's it's it's interesting.

00:42:22
Speaker 2: Because they can fight each other verbally, it's still like hang out with each other.

00:42:27
Speaker 1: And that's what I love about it.

00:42:28
Speaker 3: It's like oldcorne in that way.

00:42:30
Speaker 2: Yeah, like, okay, we had an argument, like but it's not that deep to wear.

00:42:33
Speaker 1: I don't want to be the same room.

00:42:34
Speaker 3: With you, so we'll still break.

00:42:37
Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, so that's my hope for the reunion.

00:42:39
Speaker 2: So Tama you're listening, baby, just give me and gifts in that and I promise you, sweetheart, you will be fine.

00:42:48
Speaker 3: We just need too, We just need two words i'm.

00:42:50
Speaker 2: Sorry and and don't do the quintessential housewife apology.

00:42:56
Speaker 1: I'm sorry.

00:42:57
Speaker 3: If no, it's just i'm sorry. Is a two words sentence period, that's it.

00:43:05
Speaker 1: Yeah, that's it, all right, Well, thank you Gibson.
