TGI – Episode 311 “City Slackers”
We’ve got a winner! “City Slackers” is a pivotal episode for Rider and Will, because while one faced disciplinary action, the other worked with a “master magician” (and just wait until you hear more about that guy!)
We get a rare Feeny/Shawn storyline and Rider shares how his love of Counting Crows has forever connected him to the legendary band.
And you won’t believe the behind the scenes true story of Will’s final trick pool shot. It’s real life Boy Meets World folklore.
It’s time to bundle up and meet some ski lodge bunnies on this new episode of Pod Meets World!

00:00:19 Speaker 1: What I did think we could talk about before we jump into this recap is that this episode stole yet another thing from writer's life. Just Sean is a Counting Crows fan. I remember that, and I thought it would be a perfect time to talk about Rider's Counting Crows. 00:00:42 Speaker 2: Yeah, how did you as so funny? I think because of this episode too, Like I am so associated with the band and this was totally if I remember, Sherman was the one who put it in because he knew I was a fan, but everyone knew I was a fan. 00:00:57 Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, Michael would say he did. Michael would say he did. I remember Michael saying that my time, Like, well, yeah, we're writing for you, so that's why we do all that stuff. 00:01:04 Speaker 1: Yeah, how did this fandom start? 00:01:06 Speaker 2: How did what was it? 00:01:08 Speaker 1: You loved about it so much? Tell us about your fascination with Counting Crows. 00:01:12 Speaker 2: Oh wow, it's yeah, I mean it was just August and everything after was a perfect album, really was. It was a that was the first season of boy and it really like in retrospect, it really came down. I mean obviously like just great songwriting, great lyrics. I always like people with unusual voices and good lyrics, so like I was always a Van Morrison fan, a Bob Dylan fan, and so alright, and Tom Waits I was already a fan of. So this sort of ticked like Adam Durrit's singing style ticked all those boxes. I've also been able to relate it. It really goes back to my love for musicals and like lay miz and the sort of narrative emotional expression, you know, like where a singer songwriter gets up and like and you know that's what Adam was doing. Was like this real like he was basically like crying every time he sang, and it sounded like he was crying every time he sang. And then it really grew for me because of fame. You know, here was somebody singing about wanting to be famous or wanting to be an artist. In Mister Jones, you listened to lyrics it's like I want to be on TV or whatever, and then knowing that that once you get it, it's not going to be that great, Like you know, there's this irony, and of course, like the crazy irony is that the song about wanting to be famous and being scared about wanting to be famous rocketed them to huge fame starting and so then like Adam Durretz, you know, I think ultimately not it wasn't a great move, but he spent so much of his career complaining about being famous, which to thirteen through sixteen year old riod Or Strong on a TV show was like what I needed to hear. 00:02:50 Speaker 3: It's also just flat out angsty and now that so spoke to you where it was like you're listening to him as he's breaking down on it. It was like it was written for Rider Strong. It might as well have been said, this album is for Rider Strong. 00:03:03 Speaker 2: Well the thing, well, it's really Recovering the Satellites is even a better album, I think in some ways, but I mean it's really like what what Also, the reason it was it became I started getting all the bootlegs and going to concerts is because they improvised, which I just you know, like we've talked about will you like going to concerts where they sound exactly like it sound like it does the album? That's the worst idea ever. 00:03:25 Speaker 1: No. 00:03:26 Speaker 2: And so what what Adam would do is he would make up new lyrics on the spot every night. Uh he would insert them into the songs and so liking counting crows in the mid nineties and maybe this is still true now became part of part of liking them became sort of following the narrative of Adam's life, the sort of autobiographical memoir singing experience that he was performing every night, And for me, that was like a narrative I wanted to keep up with, you know, I wanted to It was like it was like he was like the sort of fame shaman singing about the misery of being fame too. For a teenage me, that was so important. You know that somebody out there was feeling ambiguous about, you know, the alienating effects. It's like you you start expressing yourself artistically, you start opening yourself up emotionally, which I was doing on Boy Meets World. And then because you get recognizing because like people are literally like screaming and pointing at me and malls and chasing me. If you start feeling like people don't know you, you so while you increase your fame and you increase your connectivity with the world, feel alienated. You feel alienated. You actually start feeling like your world has to be smaller and you can only trust a small core group of friends who really know the real you, and so it's it's it's it's not a great cycle, and it wasn't, you know. And so for me hearing somebody singing about that and expressing themselves, it was just like it was so important to me. 00:04:50 Speaker 1: And so how did you end up meeting them? 00:04:53 Speaker 2: Just going to concerts? I went to, you know, I became a fan, and I think, uh, at one point I met do you guys remember Tommy who I became friends. Yeah, so Tommy was friends with Adam He, so I knew this guy. He came up to me at a County Crow's concert and said, hey, I know you from that show Boy Meets World And I was like yeah, and he was like, do you want to come backstage? Do you want to come meet the band? And I was like yeah, and we became friends. Tommy and I became friends, and he knew he knew Adam from because he had been friends with like River Phoenix, and I guess River Phoenix had recorded his album right next to where they recorded August and everything after, so like there was some connection there. I don't know anyway, Yeah, And so like you know, I just kept going to concerts and kept hanging out backstage and and just you know it. Yeah, And so like I remember Ben, Ben was at my eighteenth birthday and he like came up because he didn't know that I had met Adam. I guess, so we were and Adam Dirt showed up on my birthday with some a bunch of the band and and Ben's just like, writer, why is Adam Dirt in your kitchen? And I was like, oh yeah, let's get a good question, valid question. 00:06:04 Speaker 1: Do you know if if Adam or the rest of the band ever knew that you mentioned them on Boy Meets World. 00:06:10 Speaker 2: I'm not sure. I definitely know, like Adam knew I was a big fan, and we talked about it. I mean like yeah, I mean he was always the night. They were always so nice. I mean, I'm still I'm still in touch with imber Gluck Emmy, who's their guitarist. But you know, yeah, like I saw the last time I saw them in concert was probably two thousand and four, two thousand and three, they played the Disney Concert Hall with a full symphony. Oh wow, yeah, and that was power. And I remember seeing it and being like I was like fourth Row Center and I was like, this might this might be the best concert they're ever going to do. This is this CAP's the experiences. Although we were in Raleigh, what we tried to see him play. I was like texting, I'm like, can we come to the show? So yeah, I'd love to see him again. 00:06:57 Speaker 1: But they were sold out and we couldn't get in. 00:07:00 Speaker 3: They could, they wouldn't let us in. 00:07:02 Speaker 2: Adam was always super like nice and he knew I was on a tvcher. I knew I was an actor, you know, Like, but I don't know. I'm sure people have brought it up to him. I think the crossover of you know, because our show is so associated with the nineties in a way that Counting Crows is also so associated with the nineties. Yeah, like they were so like the then diagram of like Sewan Hunter fans. 00:07:24 Speaker 3: And fans makes sense, Yeah, it does. I mean it's just but powerful music is like that. I mean, I one of the things that I take with me is the lyric by Bob Dylan where he's like haxactly and it. 00:07:38 Speaker 1: Changed my life. Yeah, I mean I was like powerful man. 00:07:41 Speaker 3: He was. He was on a flight that I was on once and he had his hood down and he was ducking to make sure nobody saw that it was him, and it was clearly Bob Dylan. And I was like, we're all dead because of course he's going to go down in a plane crash, and of course I'm going to be near him. And I was convinced. I was like thirteen years old. I was like, this is it. We're done. 00:08:00 Speaker 2: Were your I? 00:08:02 Speaker 1: I guess superstitious thoughts have gone all the way back to thirteen years old. 00:08:05 Speaker 3: Huh yeah, oh got way before that. Oh yeah, no, knock Wood before that. Yeah. 00:08:09 Speaker 1: Well, thank you both for giving us a little bit more of an insight into Ryder Strong, the Counting Crows fan, and Wilfredell the superstition I'm going down in a plane crash. 00:08:18 Speaker 3: Exactly, Well, just with Bob Dylan, it wouldn't be good. 00:08:22 Speaker 2: Yeah, also killed and also exactly. Welcome to Pod Meets World. 00:08:26 Speaker 1: I'm Daniel Fishl, I'm right Strong, and I'm Wilfredell. We are just over a week away from bringing Pod Meets World to Philadelphia. 00:08:33 Speaker 2: This is our biggest show yet and we want you to join us. 00:08:36 Speaker 3: It's Saturday, September thirtieth at the met and we're bringing along our pals Tony Quinn, Trina McGee, and Matthew Lawrence, and tickets are still available. 00:08:44 Speaker 1: Will has been trying out a new accent for the show. Will, why don't you give them a little taste. 00:08:48 Speaker 3: Sure, it's going to be like this. 00:08:50 Speaker 2: Hold we will fight for honor. 00:08:52 Speaker 3: I don't do Philadelphia. So it's all I got is bad Scottish. What do you think? 00:08:56 Speaker 2: Well, yeah, I've heard you do better Scottish. 00:08:58 Speaker 3: I did much better Scottish. That's greasy. 00:09:02 Speaker 2: That's right. 00:09:02 Speaker 3: We're gonna be at the mattin fully. 00:09:04 Speaker 2: Hey, that's a loaf for. 00:09:06 Speaker 3: A while, for a while, for a while. 00:09:08 Speaker 2: If you guys want to hear more of that and experience pudmeets World life, then go to Podmeetsworldshow dot com right now and join us in Philly. 00:09:16 Speaker 3: I'd like to apologize for all of our accents or any of the shows we have planned, including Cleveland, Toronto, Pittsburgh, and Washington, d C. 00:09:23 Speaker 2: New York, Boston, Los Angeles, Chicago, New Orleans, Atlanta, Durham, North Carolina, and two shows in Texas. 00:09:30 Speaker 3: It's all at podmeets Worldshow dot com, where you can get this kind of accent again. 00:09:35 Speaker 2: That I'm good. I don't know. I prefer Irish anyway. 00:09:37 Speaker 3: Buy your tickets now. 00:09:39 Speaker 2: Nice. 00:09:40 Speaker 1: So today we are recapping season three, episode eleven, City Slackers. It originally air January fifth, nineteen ninety six. The synopsis is Corey and Shawn sneak out to mister Feenie's cabin in the mountains for a weekend of unsupervised mischief. They get more than they bargained for when mister Feenie shows up and they learn a few things about their old tea. Sure. It was directed by Jeff McCracken. It was written by Kevin Kelton, which is a name I don't remember. 00:10:06 Speaker 2: Do you remember? 00:10:06 Speaker 1: Yeah? 00:10:07 Speaker 3: Sure, do you? 00:10:08 Speaker 2: Yep? I remember the name, but I don't have a vision. 00:10:11 Speaker 3: Like Kevin was a shorter guy, curly hair, glasses, very nice. 00:10:16 Speaker 2: I know who you're talking about, Very very nice guy with us for a while that much. 00:10:20 Speaker 3: Yeah, Kevin was Kevin was a good was a good guy. 00:10:23 Speaker 2: Yeah. 00:10:23 Speaker 1: I mean, perhaps I don't remember him because I wasn't in this episode, and so I wouldn't have spent a whole lot of time with him. 00:10:31 Speaker 3: You're going to be on this show someday, Daniel, I do. 00:10:33 Speaker 1: I'm convinced reach to Ethan to see if he's interested in taking this third chare. It would make more sense at this point for just about anybody. 00:10:43 Speaker 2: I don't believe you. Yes, I don't believe. 00:10:45 Speaker 3: I was there, you were on this show. 00:10:47 Speaker 2: I don't believe it. I just love that you didn't realize this, like I just did, did you? 00:10:54 Speaker 3: Aden? 00:10:56 Speaker 2: So obvious? Like it's not until like the second half of boy Meet's World that the Corey Tapanga thing is the story the first like three years, it's you know, she's there, but it's not, you know, but just barely there. 00:11:09 Speaker 1: It's very Yes, it's so weird weird. So this episode has some guest stars. Julie Ben's as Bianca. She has worked a ton since the two thousands and is best known for her role as a Rita on Dexter and Darla on Buffy and Angel. We have Troy Evans as Ranger Mark. This guy is never not working. He's a character actor with almost two hundred credits to his name, including Ace Ventura, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, The Baseball Monkey Movie, Ed Bosh, and Deep, but he is best known as Officer Frank Martin on One hundred and thirty episodes of Er. 00:11:44 Speaker 3: Yeah he's been in everything all the time. Yeah he's yeah legend. 00:11:49 Speaker 2: Here's Gomeber this week? Very well? Oh I do too, Yes, dude, this is one I have lots of memories me. I can't wait to get into them. 00:11:57 Speaker 1: I can't wait because I even have a memory about this week and I wasn't there. 00:12:01 Speaker 3: I bet you I know what it was too. 00:12:02 Speaker 2: I'll bet you I know exactly what it was. I can't wait to talk about it. Okay, it was. 00:12:06 Speaker 1: We have Blake Soaper as Joseph Joey the rat Epstein, and Ethan Sipple as Frankie Stakino. So overall, what were your thoughts? I love this episode. This is one of my favorite episodes of the entire city. 00:12:20 Speaker 2: I think this is like, I feel like this is like one of the most boy meets world. Agree. It has the most absurd story, yes, and then a story that is okay but ends up ripping. 00:12:35 Speaker 1: Your heart out, beautiful strange. 00:12:39 Speaker 2: I do think it's a it's a weird episode, like and it's not an episode people talk to me about and I hear this because not much happened, like I don't know, but it's so funny to me too. I literally I think it was the last recap, wasn't I just saying Sean and Feeney don't have any relationship. Yes, it's like this episode swoops in with exactly the concern that I was having that sort of as a viewer, and I think that they must have been realizing it too. It's so interesting. It's like, yeah, it's it's just great. It does that service right, It makes Phoenie. It brings Phoenie back into the show. 00:13:17 Speaker 1: Which exactly, it brings Phenie back into the boys lives as you know, as we've seen Phoenie's educator. Yes, seeing Phoenie back with Corey and Sean as an educator and as a man and learning more about his life, Oh my god. 00:13:33 Speaker 2: Story wise, I mean, like who cares? Both both the A and B story are some of the least developed stories in terms of plot. They're like they start a plot and then just nothing happens, Like Corey Jean want to go into meet girls. Disappears right, and Phoenie shows up and they're gonna get in trouble. No, they're not really gonna get in trouble. They're just gonna stay there. We're gonna have this pool match to decide. Nope, we're just gonna So it's like it starts a plot and then just has these great scenes. 00:14:02 Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, and that's. 00:14:03 Speaker 2: Like a really it's almost like anti sitcoms episode. It's so weird, but it's good. 00:14:08 Speaker 3: I love it. I loved it. 00:14:09 Speaker 2: I was wondering if you guys were gonna love it or hate it, because I was hating a lot of it for the lack of storytelling. But then I was like, by the end, I'm like, no, that's that's a beautiful episode. 00:14:19 Speaker 1: I loved it the whole way. I didn't even it never bumped me that like we started. The only thing that bumped me was like, yet again, here we go. It's Amy Matthew's birthday, and the kids just don't care. It's men aren't important. This is an odd family where no one acknowledges really birthdays. It's like, as long as somebody mentions that it's someone's birthday, we've done enough. 00:14:42 Speaker 3: Yeah, somebody got very hurt by a birthday in the past, and so birthdays are person now. 00:14:47 Speaker 1: And that just kind of made me laugh. But I got to work with Tony and with Alex. 00:14:52 Speaker 2: Like that was the other thing. 00:14:54 Speaker 3: I was like, I know, my god, I got to work with both of them. I totally forgot that. I didn't. 00:14:58 Speaker 2: You introduced yoursel just as you did on stage. 00:15:02 Speaker 3: I know, and I thought I had no idea. I had so much time. 00:15:05 Speaker 1: I do feel like was shoehorned into a story. Of course they had to get him in somehow, because there really is like even though it's a small part. 00:15:14 Speaker 2: There are no small parts, only small actors. Is even mentioned, by the way, No, she doesn't exist, no exact We're going to a ski lodge, which apparently ski lodges are where you go to meet with the ski bunnies. 00:15:28 Speaker 3: You meet the ski bunnies there, the ski bunnies. 00:15:30 Speaker 2: But yeah, like why Corey wants to do that when he has a girlfriend is really. 00:15:35 Speaker 1: I think, I don't know that he's going for that. I feel like he's going because he always does what Sean wants to do. He gets suckered in. There's that scene where he goes, oh, you know, I'm going where he like tries to fight against it, but he's like, I'm just in it. 00:15:50 Speaker 2: But he never mentions to Penga RL's not going to go because I have a girlfriend. Let me tell Penga, Yeah, I'll go be a wingman for you. 00:15:57 Speaker 3: I'll do something like that. You know, none, none of that? 00:16:11 Speaker 1: Will you are a superstar in this episode? 00:16:15 Speaker 2: So much fun? Can we talk about? 00:16:17 Speaker 1: And do you want to share any of your memories before we jump in or do you just want to share him as we go? 00:16:21 Speaker 3: Well, I mean, the thing I remember the most was that they had me work with a magician and pool player from the Magic Castle named Chef Anton. 00:16:31 Speaker 2: Who does he get a credit? Does he? 00:16:34 Speaker 3: I don't think so he doesn't he should have, like and he just taught me, taught me all the pool shots and we'll get into all that kind of stuff, but I have to work the whole week with him, and Julie was super nice, and Ethan and Blake were fun to work with. 00:16:47 Speaker 1: Will When you say Chef Anton, is it chef like c HF like a chef. 00:16:51 Speaker 3: That's what I remember was he was named was Chef Anton. He was a magician at the Magic Castle, super nice guy, but was also like a trick pool and so he would We'd spent all day sitting there and he's like setting up the shots and he's got to like bang certain things in at times into the you know, you take one ball and hit it into the other ball, so it made a little debt in the table so the balls would stay where they had. It was a whole thing, and he was teaching me all this stuff and I did all the shots. I mean that was all me doing all the sto and it was so cool. We just had I might not have done. They cut to one where it's like they cut and then it goes yeah, and it goes that might have been Chef. No, that was I think Chef doing that shot, but I. 00:17:34 Speaker 2: Had to involve like a magnet or something, right. 00:17:36 Speaker 3: One of them was a magnet, but the other one is him actually spinning the ball. He did the shot. I mean that's kind of the stuff he was doing. So it was we had so much fun doing this episode and it's so absurd and it kept getting more absurd and I loved everything about it. 00:17:50 Speaker 1: Well it really just so you know, Chef Anton is still working. He is actually on Instagram. He is at Scuba Magician. He specializes ino and scuba magic. 00:18:03 Speaker 2: Pull wait, so pull like playing pool or scuba. I love that there's something called scuba magic this is underwater magic, so everybody has to go underwater to be the audience. Are you doing in a tank? 00:18:16 Speaker 1: I would imagine there was a tank instead of just form for the scuba die. 00:18:20 Speaker 2: You remember when he came to the su night a what if he just videos it? He goes underwater, does. 00:18:25 Speaker 3: The magic there, and you'd be like, all of a sudden a shark would appear or something like that. 00:18:29 Speaker 2: To look into this, you have. 00:18:30 Speaker 1: To look at scuba magician. 00:18:32 Speaker 3: To the set that night. He came to the taping when we did it, and he hit the thing. He was famous for us. He liked that there was then a crowd of all the writers producers around him as he was like doing card tricks and the thing. He'd finish a card trick and then he'd look at Minel who was standing behind him and be like, oh, and by the way, here's your watch. And he'd be like wait what, Oh my gosh, All's watch was gone. It was awesome. Yeah, it was a fun night. I remember this episode so well. 00:18:56 Speaker 1: Update writer, you do go down in the water with him him you scuba dive and he does magic for you. 00:19:03 Speaker 3: Oh my god, the magic is under boat. 00:19:07 Speaker 1: Yeah, guys, pod meets World Scuba Diving podcast. 00:19:13 Speaker 3: I love that. 00:19:14 Speaker 2: I'm so into it. 00:19:16 Speaker 3: I would totally do that. 00:19:17 Speaker 1: All right, So let's jump into our recap. We start in the Matthews kitchen. We're at the dining room table. Corey is looking through a binder while Sean is folding a paper into an airplane. 00:19:25 Speaker 2: Now this this is a week week moment. Yeah. We're literally opening with me saying the one thing I'm glad is that Phoenie's not around. It's like Phoene's always. 00:19:39 Speaker 1: I know the best thing about studying here is that there's no Phoene. But actually the only place other than school there is is Corey's house. 00:19:47 Speaker 2: And unfolding a paper airplane. It's like it's like we just went Let's go back to the pilot. Let's go back to the pilot season one, remember, remember, Well. 00:19:55 Speaker 1: I also can't let it go without pointing out that you are wearing two t sh shirts, a corduroy zip up, and a vest. 00:20:03 Speaker 3: Yeah, and also starting to look older. 00:20:07 Speaker 2: Yeah. 00:20:07 Speaker 3: I noticed it more in this episode than any of the episodes coming up, where I'm like, oh, Wrider's starting to look like writer, Like You're starting to look like teenage writer to me. 00:20:14 Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, so, Sean says, the best part about studying at Corey's is there's no Phoenie. But then right on que Phenie knocks on the backyard door. Sean says he doesn't want to get hassled by Feenie. The door is doing exactly what it's supposed to do. Corey explains that Phoene is a pro. He leaves the principal stuff at school. Then again, right on cue, Phoene asks if they're ready for the test. The boys show Feenie they're currently studying, and Phoene points out that Sean's book is still in its original cellophane. Sean explains he gets top dollar on resale, top dollar. Phoene says his best students have usually read the book. Sean asks what that's what that gets him, and Peenie responds into college. Then Amy walks down the stairs, looking like she's ready to sell a brick split level on Oak Street, or sell some paintings, or am I to. 00:20:56 Speaker 2: Judge some galeryist stuff? 00:20:58 Speaker 1: I don't know, but she asks Feeney if the boys are in trouble. Phoene responds with probably, but that's not why I'm here. Phoene hands Amy a small box with a bow on it. She smiles and says, oh, he remembered her birthday is Sunday. And this is a cute little friendly thing between the Matthews and Phoenie that we haven't really seen too often that. 00:21:16 Speaker 2: They're kind of embarrassed getting some praise. 00:21:22 Speaker 3: Feenie is what like where he's kind of like showing a little look to Alan where he's like, you see it is one of my favorite billisms. He's so awesome at that kind of like well, chucks, you know it's oh man, I loved it. 00:21:35 Speaker 1: Love Yeah, it's it's I love the the faux blushing. 00:21:39 Speaker 2: Oh yes, stop yeah, right exactly. 00:21:41 Speaker 4: He's so good at it in this entire episode and the whole episode, so you forget I had now officially forgotten because he was coming in and doing one liners and coming in and doing one. 00:21:51 Speaker 3: Liners once again. You just get a masterclass in Bill Daniels in this episode where it's like, oh man, he's so good. 00:21:57 Speaker 2: Every beat, every single beat is real with this man. 00:22:01 Speaker 3: It is phenomenal. Yeah, awesome. 00:22:03 Speaker 1: Just then Alan walks downstairs, sees Phoene and also asks if the boys are in trouble. Amy exclaims that George remembered it's her birthday. Alan says he didn't realize Amy's birthday was coming up. He's kidding, of course, he wouldn't forget it's a Sunday because the Eagles are playing. Amy opens Phoene's present to reveal a key. It's for his cottage in the mountains, because he thought Amy and Allan would enjoy a romantic getaway this weekend. Amy kisses Foene on the cheek and is thrilled, but she thought he sold the cottage. Phoene says he intends to because he doesn't get up there very much, but ensures her it assures her it's very romantic. Alan appreciates the gesture, but he's already made plans for Amy's birthday. The camera cuts to Sean taking the key and then cuts back to Phoenie telling the Matthews to keep the key. Maybe they can go up another weekend. And I wondered why they showed Sean taking the key there when then it's not at all. The reveal later in the backyard. 00:22:52 Speaker 2: Might have just been too tricky, Like you wouldn't have believed that right that he Sean was unable to do it, you know, right right. 00:22:59 Speaker 1: So then the camera goes back to Sean, who spontaneously throws his history book outside, saying it slipped. He says Corey knows the terrain best, so he should help him find it. 00:23:10 Speaker 2: Corey looks over. 00:23:10 Speaker 1: To Feenie and his parents, telling them, yeah, I know this tundra, like it's my own backyard. 00:23:14 Speaker 2: Back Yeah, so that's a yard. He does say about script, I know this conversation because we've had. 00:23:24 Speaker 3: Two writers come on and say it was the side yard. 00:23:27 Speaker 2: I know anything. 00:23:29 Speaker 1: These writers. And then we're in the Matthews backyard. Sewan and Corey are now outside the kitchen and they close the door. Sean says they have to use they have to use code for security reasons. Corey says they don't have code, and Sean responds with really, guys, like I should have a code. And I noticed Ben seems to be doing something different with Corey here, like the way he's playing Corey. 00:23:51 Speaker 2: This did not feel good to me. 00:23:53 Speaker 3: There's something it was because it's it was supposed to be like a fun running couplet that kind of has nothing to do with it. And that's how you were playing it and Ben was kind of almost playing it angry. 00:24:04 Speaker 2: I could tell it was okay, Well, here's my memory of this week. Okay, are you ready? Yeah? Ben and I had the worst run through in the history of Boy Beats World. This. Michael was gone. He wasn't there. I don't know if he was gone all week, but he certainly wasn't there for this one run through. And I don't know what was happening. And all I remember is that Ben and I were phoning it in. We like waltz through a run through. I think we broke a lot. We laughed and uh. David Kendall gave notes and he just said, I don't I don't know what to say. I just don't want to be here. Really, I don't, you know, And he just like gave the most like this is, I guess if you guys don't want to do the show, I don't, I don't know what to tell you. Oh he gave you that. I'm not angry, I'm disappointed, just disapp And I also think he truly didn't know what to do with us because we had done so bad. And I remember that run through ended and I remember being like, what what's happening? And then me and Jeff McCracken and Ben had like this huge like pow wow in our dressing rooms, like post run through, it was like yeah, you know, and like Jeff was like, what can I do? How can we make this better? What do you guys want from this episode? And I, honestly, I don't remember what the problem was. I don't remember why. Ben and I I think maybe we didn't like the episode, maybe we maybe maybe it wasn't maybe we had pissed Bill off and Bill said something. I'm not sure what happened, but it was the only time in the history of Pointments world where Ben and I were in trouble, like as kids, for not being professional and not doing our jobs. 00:25:49 Speaker 3: Do you remember do you remember if it was a Monday run through or a Tuesday run It. 00:25:52 Speaker 2: Had to be a Monday. Yeah, it had a network, so this wasn't network nokay no, And like I said, Michael wasn't there. But I remember just being like what did we do? Like being so you know, and having to like up our game. So I I just remember being in trouble, like I just remember, and I can't remember why. I think most of what happened is that Ben and I were goofing off. I think we must have just been phoning it in, making each other laugh. If Michael was there, wasn't there, we probably thought it wasn't important. Yeah, you know what I mean. 00:26:20 Speaker 1: Michael wasn't there. There was probably a you guys felt more relaxed, and. 00:26:24 Speaker 2: We thought that the guy, you know, the moosh can't be a ranger. It was the funniest things we thought he was, and we probably did. Ever that's it ever and I think, yeah, but it was. 00:26:35 Speaker 1: It was an awful And then David Kendall probably also felt like he had to take He had to take it that seriously because one, how disrespectful that just because Michael isn't here, you don't care about any of the rest of us. And I need to get through to you that this is not acceptable. And so I'm gonna nip this in the bud right now instead of going easy on you, I have to. 00:26:57 Speaker 2: So, Yeah, that's it's always interesting. 00:26:59 Speaker 3: Strange that that's that you would that would happen this episode where the vast majority of your scenes it's just you and Ben and Bill, like of all the weeks to phone it in you think the one you'd never picked, the one where it's you're actually working with Bill NonStop and something that very much feels like a play. You know, it's like wow that it's it's interesting that all you. 00:27:23 Speaker 2: Think at this point we felt like we were we were impervious, you know, like there's no way we couldn't wait to get something. Dan Jokoff Man say the lines, and like, you know, I think it was a reality check of like we still needed to show up, we still needed to do our jobs, and you know we did. Like, but this this scene felt off for me too, Like acting wise, I didn't feel like I was very good and I was just like, what's happening here? And I think if I remember, I didn't I didn't like the dialogue and I'm not sure like I could see it now, but it just didn't feel I don't know, something was off for me. And it's still felt off watching this this scene. But I mean, this is where they should have brought into like in in fact, he should not want to go, He should want to do the right thing because he has a girlfriend and Da da dada da and Sean should be like but girls, but you know, snow money's but whatever, and again keeps seaching him until he finally go, oh, you know, I'm going. 00:28:14 Speaker 3: It has to be because think about it, we have Ethan and Blake and Alex, Alex and Tony and Julie Ben's and another. I mean there's like three different characters that are speaking. So yeah, there's everybody was in this episode except Daniel. It was very strange. 00:28:43 Speaker 1: So Corey says they can bring up code words at the next meeting, which prompts Sean to ask when the next meeting is. Corey tells him they don't have meetings, and Sean says this club blows, which I was like, whoa the language. Sean says he knows how to make everything better and pulls out and he's key, and then the audience goes nuts. There this is this is a hot audience, And I feel like, maybe it's those inmates, you know what. 00:29:10 Speaker 3: Excited about At this point we had actual fans. The inmates were the season I'm not gonna start, okay, maybe. 00:29:17 Speaker 1: You know, I feel like inmates would be thrilled about about robbing Phoenie's house. 00:29:23 Speaker 3: The inmates also all sounded like twelve year old girls, so I want to know this was. 00:29:28 Speaker 2: It was twelve year old girl president. It was literally are they Daniel? Was Sean, like, what are they wooing about? Like did they just automatically know that in the mountains there are hot women, Like. 00:29:43 Speaker 1: They woo about you guys stealing the key and going there alone, and then they woo about the hot bunnies. 00:29:51 Speaker 2: I think it's it's an ooh into oh, you're right. 00:29:55 Speaker 3: So it's like, oh, you're stealing stuff and the hot sche money of course ski bunnies with treating on to pay. 00:30:03 Speaker 2: It was a new and wold exactly, which is what so interested in the like ski lodge as a site of like dating potential. Oh, I'll tell you why Michael Jacobs had a house and asked. That's what I was thinking, like this is when he got his house and asked and was going. 00:30:20 Speaker 1: It's so hot and sexy and sexy because I just. 00:30:26 Speaker 2: Such a clear obsession with our show. 00:30:29 Speaker 1: It is the ss bunnies everywhere and Aspen. 00:30:33 Speaker 3: Ski Resorts, food and hair. There's something going on. I want to know what's up. 00:30:40 Speaker 1: So Sean explains, there's an empty cottage and ski country with young, healthy, snuggly snowbodies. 00:30:50 Speaker 2: Their health by the way. Okay, look, I definitely used to talk about like women who snowboarded as being like sexy because they were like a lettic or like god like. I definitely went with this so wealthy. 00:31:05 Speaker 3: No, it's just like such a weird to say they eat their carrots. It is. 00:31:09 Speaker 2: It's weird. It's the whole thing is It's just like it's. 00:31:12 Speaker 3: Like that, you know, somebody obviously had an obsession with that. It's like, oh, because we always have to go to racetracks to meet hot with. 00:31:23 Speaker 2: The old NASCAR, right, It's like. 00:31:25 Speaker 3: Just picking weird exactly makes me want to escape, makes me want to escape. 00:31:31 Speaker 1: So Corey warrens, if they go up there, Phoene is going to go mental, and Sean says that's a bonus. Phoene goes out of his way to make Sean's life miserable and this will make up for it. Sometimes they have to break the rules. Corey says, it's deceitful and irresponsible, but there's and there's no chance they'd get away with it. Sean gives him a smirk and Corey says, oh, you know, I'm going And I realized here that Sean has the ability to ensorcele Corey with. 00:31:55 Speaker 2: Just a smoker. 00:31:55 Speaker 3: It doesn't, he doesn't. It's also very Sean Corey. I like the very Corey moment of oh, you know, I'm going to be thirty. 00:32:01 Speaker 2: Minutes into our recap. We've made it through the first seat. 00:32:04 Speaker 1: We're out of the Matthew's house. 00:32:06 Speaker 2: All right, we're in the school hallway. 00:32:08 Speaker 1: Sean runs up to Corey at his locker and reveals two bus tickets to Paradise. 00:32:11 Speaker 2: Is this still before school? 00:32:13 Speaker 1: Did he skip the first part of school. 00:32:15 Speaker 2: To go get these bus tickets? 00:32:16 Speaker 1: Is everyone getting up at four am so they have time to study at the house, have conversations with their parents, buy bus tickets all before first period? 00:32:24 Speaker 2: Right, it's like six am. It's like so early. I'm like, you, guys, must you're in the same clothes. 00:32:34 Speaker 1: Yes, you're in your corduroy two shirt. 00:32:36 Speaker 2: Zip up. Damn. 00:32:38 Speaker 1: Yeah, the morning still morning because. 00:32:41 Speaker 2: Amy comes down as we're studying for the test in the morning. Okay, yeah, you're we were cramming for a test. 00:32:47 Speaker 1: And then you left still an ample time to go get bus tickets or you just bailed on school for the first part and you showed it. 00:32:54 Speaker 2: I don't really know. I'm just I was just drinking. I honestly don't remember. Do we ever? What what are we telling Corey's parents? 00:32:59 Speaker 3: We never talk about it doesn't mentioned, no, no, not mentioned. 00:33:05 Speaker 2: So they only find out that we're okay. 00:33:07 Speaker 1: When PHOENI, well Feoene goes up that same night, right, so they're not gone very long. 00:33:14 Speaker 2: But you know, my. 00:33:16 Speaker 3: Head, I also assume it's the typical thing where Sean tells Turner, I'm sleeping, and I'm sleeping at it. 00:33:23 Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, uh so. Sean reveals the weather report a fresh blanket of snow on the mountains, but Corey says he had a moment of clarity. It occurred to him. They don't skate. Sean retorts by saying they don't learn. But they go to school, don't they. Nearby Eric approaches mister Turner and he introduces himself. It's me Eric, Corey's brother sne I. 00:33:45 Speaker 3: Remember just working with Tony and it's just such a him just looking at me like you're in my clat we talk every day. Is just one of my favorite things of the world. 00:33:54 Speaker 2: Is full of Oh the it's glorious. 00:34:01 Speaker 1: Yeah, it really is. Turner says he knows Eric is in his English Lit class. He's not doing so well. 00:34:08 Speaker 3: Uh. 00:34:09 Speaker 1: Eric asks mister Turner if he was just talking to Bianca Sabatini, who is giggling nearby the payphone. She's played by Julie Bens. Turner says, yes, he's her teacher. Eric asks if he can teach her to go out with him. Welcome back, girls, girls, girl. 00:34:22 Speaker 2: Girls, girls, girl. 00:34:24 Speaker 1: We're taking a break from college college college to go back to girl girls. 00:34:28 Speaker 3: I love it. I am a big fan. 00:34:31 Speaker 1: Turner size, and Eric tells him she only goes out with jocks. Eric watches the occasional game, but solely to look at the players wives. They are hot, but imagine him on a ski and imagine a ski Lune. Couldn't even imagine you think they're hot in the stands, all forget it. 00:34:45 Speaker 2: Healthy, healthy, snugly skier, healthy snugly player wives. 00:34:52 Speaker 1: Yeah. Turner cuts Eric off and says this conversation doesn't really need him, does it. Eric says no, thanks him for his time. So funny this conversation does. As Turner leaves, Eric walks over to Bianca. He introduces himself and says they're in the same English class, to which Bianca replies, Oh, yeah, you're the smart one. Red flag right there, big big red flag. Eric says, yes, he may be the class victorian this year. The laughs says he's cute and asks if he's a jock. Eric responds with I've worn them. And then we are in Chubbies. Eric and Bianca have quickly turned this conversation into an interior. 00:35:35 Speaker 2: Of Chubbies that is shown. There's an exterior day of Chubbies. Have we have we seen that exterior before? 00:35:42 Speaker 1: I don't know about if we've seen that one. I know we have seen one, and I don't remember. I didn't technically technically. 00:35:49 Speaker 2: And then we had the scene the rave where this is in La Like, they clearly went somewhere in l A and put a Chubby sign on a building somewhere like in the valley. I would love to know where that is and kind of looks there's. 00:36:07 Speaker 3: Your old apartment building, Rider, the one in downtown, kind of that red brick. 00:36:11 Speaker 1: It would make sense that they would have stolen a place that Ryder was living. 00:36:15 Speaker 3: He stole everything else. 00:36:16 Speaker 1: They stole everything else from Rider's life. 00:36:18 Speaker 3: It's a writer's life. Counting crows all that stuff, the fact that he loves ski bunnies. They just took everything everything. 00:36:23 Speaker 1: It's so life. Yeah. So they've turned their conversation into a date and Eric asks Bianca why she dates jocks, and she says I like to date winners and inquires what sport Eric plays. He hesitates and looks over. 00:36:36 Speaker 2: At the pool table. 00:36:37 Speaker 1: He asks if she follows pool, and she says not at all. He smirks and tells her he's a grand master. Eric and Bianca make their way to the pool table, as Bianca says she never thought of pool as a jockey kind of sport. Eric points to a scar on his head, telling her he got it at the eight Ball champions Championships in Mexico City in nineteen sixty four. And then Fedora, Joey and Frankie welcome back to these two. They come walking in, calling Eric and Bianca mister and missus Batinsky because they took the table that he and Frankie were already playing at. Eric says the table was empty, so if they don't mind leaving while the two of them finish up. Fodora Joey asks if Eric is challenging Frankie to the table. Bianca tells Eric to do it because she'd love to see the grand Master at work. Eric obliges and tells Frankie you're on. He wonders how good could Frankie be anyways, Fodora Joey laughs as Frankie pulls out his own custick, telling Eric he's buried dead in the ground. 00:37:34 Speaker 3: First of all, I love how Eric never really sees them as bullies. Yeah, you know, he's just like, no, we got the table, you know this is It's not like, oh, geez, they're here. 00:37:44 Speaker 2: Sorry. 00:37:44 Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like, no, you weren't here. 00:37:47 Speaker 2: Yes, two, it would have been about how scary they were something. Right, They're just part of the gang now, exactly. 00:37:53 Speaker 1: It's one of my favorite things about the bullies having less to do with Corey and Sean and more to do with Eric. Where Eric is more on equal foot with them, it becomes just more of a peer relationship. 00:38:05 Speaker 2: Rather than like bullies. 00:38:06 Speaker 3: I agree. 00:38:07 Speaker 1: Will Had you ever played pool before this? 00:38:10 Speaker 3: Yeah, I grew up. We actually had a pool table in our house growing up. So my grandfather was a very good pool player. 00:38:15 Speaker 2: He was a grand master. 00:38:16 Speaker 3: He was there was a grandfather. 00:38:20 Speaker 1: And it's the father to. 00:38:21 Speaker 3: Be right, so no, so he he taught me, and I played most of my life growing up. I mean I wasn't as good as Chef Anton right obviously, who's doing trick shots and stuff. But no, I played pool quite a bit actually, And then I had a pool table in my apartment in Los Angeles that I didn't measure correctly, so I couldn't draw the acoustick all. 00:38:40 Speaker 2: The way back. 00:38:41 Speaker 3: So it was like, don't like perfectly exactly a pool table. 00:38:45 Speaker 2: In your bird apartment? Uh huh, I don't remember that at all, Sure, big it was, Remember I had that. 00:38:54 Speaker 3: I had the penthouse apartment by the end, and it was like I had the there's that separate room where I had the pool table, and it it was hysterical, like people walking be like, I want to play pool, don't hit the. 00:39:03 Speaker 2: Wall all the penthouse at the oak Woods, like I wish. 00:39:06 Speaker 3: I'm glad I was not in the oak Woods by that point, but only like a mile away. 00:39:10 Speaker 2: Okay, that burrito place right, which one on the street from your. 00:39:14 Speaker 3: Santa Fe cafe? Yes, that there's a there's one left not in Burbank, out here by Danielle and I, And soone and I go to it like once a month. 00:39:24 Speaker 2: Amazingly, it tastes exactly the same. 00:39:27 Speaker 3: You go and get that stuff and it brings you. For the first time I had it because I'd said to Sue maybe three years ago, it was it was not that long ago. I was like, oh, there's this place. And I went to the Santa Fe Cafe in Burbank so many times that if there was a line, I would just walk past the line, go behind the counter, literally right in my order, put it up on the thing, open the register, and put the money and they wink at me. And so I was telling her this story, and she's like, you know, there's a Santa Fe cafe like fifteen minutes from here. It's like what She's like, yeah, there's there were two. There was the one in Burbank they closed out, and there was one out here and like slink and it was well and jump. I'm so excited, so good, so good. 00:40:06 Speaker 1: So now we're at Phoene's cottage. A park ranger opens the door to Peenie's cottage as Cory and Sean follow behind, all bundled up and freezing cold. 00:40:12 Speaker 2: Here's my question, Yeah, why is a park ranger showing them into. 00:40:17 Speaker 3: How close did the bus get them to the cabin is my question. 00:40:21 Speaker 2: I just don't understand what is happening. What is there a ranger in the cabin? What does this have to do? What? What world do you live in? It's not a hotel, I'm not a lodge. What is it? 00:40:34 Speaker 3: Just somebody's house. 00:40:35 Speaker 2: It's Phoene's house, and the ranger just it's just I don't mean it's funny. I like the scene, but I have no idea what has happened. So in my head there's a correlation between the two. 00:40:47 Speaker 3: In my head, the bus dropped them off like three quarters of a mile from the cabin. They're hoofing it to the cabin, and the ranger drives find these two kids walking through and it's like, hey, let me let me dry to your cabin, and then he gets in the cat and then they're there. 00:41:03 Speaker 1: That's it, which, by the way, you could set up with one sentence off so glad I saw you guys taking up to the. 00:41:08 Speaker 2: Cabin holding out there. 00:41:13 Speaker 3: Exactly, That's what I think it was. 00:41:16 Speaker 1: I agree with you. And by the way, as weird as it is, it still didn't make me. It didn't change what he felt about the episode. I was just like, yeah, sure. 00:41:23 Speaker 3: To love him so much in everything he's done that he came on screen, I was like anything, I'm good with whatever. 00:41:30 Speaker 2: He's so funny. 00:41:31 Speaker 3: He's so funny. 00:41:33 Speaker 1: So they say hankho, hankho, Harry Hodge, which it's not there's no snow, but it's very cool. The ranger introduces himself as Ranger Mark. He asks which one of them is Foene's grandson. They both point to each other and say he is. Sean says they both are as they're at the same time. One of them says their brothers, the other one says their cousins, their brother cousins. Ranger Mark says there's no need to explain. He's from mountain people himself, from mountain folk to so funny. Cory asks how far the nearest ski lodge is looking for those bunnies, and Ranger Mark tells them it's about two miles. Sean asks how far it would be if they're walking, and tells. 00:42:12 Speaker 2: Them And then I remember every line of the scene. Do you every line of the scene. As it was happening, I was like, I know every Yeah, I think maybe the run through was so bad because Ben and I just thought this was so funny. But I just remembered laughing this entire. 00:42:26 Speaker 1: It is so funny. All of it's great. It's great, dumb Sean, Well, how far is it if we're walking, that's only one mile? 00:42:33 Speaker 2: Oh, that's so funny. I Also, here's the thing. 00:42:35 Speaker 3: Though we've established they don't ski, Corey wants to get to the ski lodge, So it's Corey who wants to meet the women. 00:42:43 Speaker 1: Yeah, unless Corey's looking for hot Coco. 00:42:47 Speaker 2: That would have been great if that's her name. I mean. 00:42:53 Speaker 1: Ranger Mark warns them to make sure everything is locked up at night so they don't wake up with a skull full of Grady's acts. Corey asked what that is, and Ranger Mark says. Folklore says a man brought his beautiful bride to Grady Pines once she fell in love with a ski instructor, and the husband went mad. He then hacked them both up before taking his own life. The locals say every year the psycho returns to this mountain to wreak his bloody revenge. Corey and Seawan sit completely wide eyed on the couch. Corey then asks the ranger. How the man is able to come back if he took his own life. Ranger Mark is stumped. Sean says, this is why you don't see many rangers on the tonight show. Got another late night show, Joe. 00:43:33 Speaker 3: Sean loves the old late night shows. I'm telling you. 00:43:38 Speaker 1: Ranger Mark asks if the boys know how to turn on the electricity. Sean scoff, saying he thinks they can flip a switch. Ranger Mark says he has to go. He's watching a movie with his buddy Moose. Corey asks if that's another ranger, and Mark clarifies a moose can't be a ranger. 00:43:52 Speaker 2: He did that so for seventy years, said this line. Yeah, forever. A moose can't be a ranger. Can't be a range. 00:44:00 Speaker 1: I mean, I love that this is a similar moose reference to what will eventually be. 00:44:06 Speaker 2: The same thought. 00:44:07 Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, and yet the same thing with Moose is just it gets around. Yeah, it had its roots. That's his wife. Yeah, how dare you? 00:44:19 Speaker 3: Moose can't be a ranger? 00:44:32 Speaker 1: So Sean and Corey can't believe. Ranger Mark asked if they could turn on the electricity, what kind of city Mama's Boys does he take us for Corey asks as he tries to turn on the light switch and it. 00:44:41 Speaker 2: Doesn't work that. 00:44:43 Speaker 3: He instantly turns it on and off. Who goes over a light switch and goes on off? Nobody does that in the history of the world. You flip on the light switch, look on. It's so weird. 00:44:55 Speaker 1: It's like there's someone acting and light switch acted own and switch acting small objects. 00:45:02 Speaker 2: I would say, watch and drain plug act. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. There's like small maybe just props. I was going to say props. 00:45:12 Speaker 1: I will say. 00:45:13 Speaker 2: Comedy props, roper. 00:45:16 Speaker 1: It's hard for a lot of actors. 00:45:19 Speaker 2: I love it. 00:45:20 Speaker 3: I love it. 00:45:22 Speaker 2: Of course I'm not on the show, though, so I'll tell them. 00:45:25 Speaker 3: Whatever sit come, you're on, you should tell us. 00:45:27 Speaker 2: I will let him know. 00:45:29 Speaker 1: Then we're in the Chubby's pool hall. Eric is playing pool with a crowd gathered behind him. He takes his shot and the ball flies completely off the felt. Eric explains to a confused Bianca. In Mexico, they have chicken wire around the table. I thought was a cute little call. Bumpers on on bowling out at a bowling alley. 00:45:47 Speaker 3: I just remember setting up all these shots and working with chef and here's how we're going to do it, and you're gonna do this one, you're gonna do that. It was so cool. This whole week was like learning magic. It was neat And so did. 00:45:58 Speaker 1: You ever have to come in early and prack just that stuff? 00:46:01 Speaker 2: Yeah. The storyline is it's like from now on, you guys are just shooting pool. 00:46:08 Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, And do you remember how pool became an integral part of the show too. Do you remember pockey? What you don't remember pockey? So in when we eventually then got to the college, there's the pool table in the in the room, and we invented the game and it's it's made the show where we actually have like we're using the sticks like hockey sticks and we're knocking the balls like that, and we called it pockey and we'd be playing in the background, we'd be playing pocky. Oh yeah, this is a whole thing that all of us would played pocky. No. No, you will see it in the background of some episodes where all of a sudden we're playing pockey. Yeah, so it was cool hockey. Yeah. 00:46:48 Speaker 1: Well, mister Williams, who apparently is just hanging out alone at the student hangout and asks, of course, ask you what the crowd is for, to which Bianca replies, there's a big game going on. Frankie is about to take another turn, so Joey tells him to concentrate like he does on Thanksgiving. Frankie asks the first night or the second night. Joey clarifies there's only one night, and Frankie says, not at my house. Maybe the lowest common denominator of jokes, And at this point, I'm sure Ethan was getting a little sick of it. I wouldn't even though he's I wouldn't either, even though he's apparently way too humble to even mention it. 00:47:25 Speaker 2: Didn't even mention it. 00:47:28 Speaker 1: Frankie shoots his ball into the pocket, only for it to shoot right back out. Mister Williams, I didn't either. But they also don't understand. They say they've been there for an hour. You mean for a whole hour. Weird magical things have been happening on this table. 00:47:42 Speaker 2: That is not the point that there's a magical table. As I was sitting there, going is the idea that he's bad too, and he was like in over his head and he had been lying about being a Yes, it's all that. It's it's no matter what we do, because that Frankie normally is good. It's just today is a cursed pool. 00:48:02 Speaker 1: Yes, today, and that's the reason they stay at it. 00:48:06 Speaker 2: I guess about a complete lack of story, it's just yeah, it's just like, get into the conflict, just hold it there and do some fun stuff. Weird. 00:48:15 Speaker 1: Thankfully, it's funny enough that I'm I'm in me too. Okay for you, okay, fine for Eric is up and his ball curves perfectly and hits absolutely nothing. Mister Williams says he's having some serious bad luck, and then we're back at Phoene's cottage. Sean and Corey walk inside as Sean complains that it was the worst two hours of his life. The ski lodge was closed and Ranger Mark failed to mention there's no one else on the mountain, so Bunny's gone. We can stop that storyline, like as far as like the guys being obsessed with trying to find him. 00:48:47 Speaker 2: That's over. 00:48:48 Speaker 3: There's no one this weekend. He'll cheat on ski lodge later. 00:48:52 Speaker 1: Yeah, there's always time for there's always time. 00:48:56 Speaker 3: Age somewhere yep. 00:48:58 Speaker 1: There also turns out to be no no, even though Sean said the weather report stated there was fresh powder on the Rockies. Corey screams at Sean, telling him they're two thousand miles away from the Rocky Mountains. Sean thought Rocky was a description, not a name, like Chewie Nugat. 00:49:14 Speaker 3: That's funny, that's funny. 00:49:16 Speaker 2: Yeah, No is why we couldn't get through these seas because these were funny lines. 00:49:20 Speaker 1: The boys have no power, no lights, and no heat. Sean says he just needs to think, and suddenly the lights turn on. Corey says, someone's here. They need to be quiet. They think it's Grady the axe murderer. The locks on the door start jingling, and Corey and Sean run to grab weapons. The door opens and Feene walks in and they all stare at each other. 00:49:38 Speaker 3: That was a poorly written joke, by the way, and it's strictly the writing. When the lights came on, you shouldn't have said either the lights just came on or I had an idea. You should have just gone I have an idea. 00:49:47 Speaker 2: I have an idea. 00:49:48 Speaker 3: Yeah, that's you're killing the joke by saying either the lights came, I should have just been lights on, and then I have an idea which would have been hysterical. 00:49:55 Speaker 1: Yep. 00:49:55 Speaker 2: Yeah. 00:49:57 Speaker 1: So then we're still in Phoene's cottage. Phoene closes the door and tells the boys to explain themselves. Sean yells he has no right trespassing on his own property. Corey explains his parents are on their way up. They just rushed ahead to straighten up. Phoene tells him that's a bald faced lie, and Corey agrees with that statement. Phoene guesses exactly what the boys did, to which Sean replies, that's a bald face lie. Corey questions why Phoenie is there. He said he never uses the place. Phoene tells him he came to pack up so he could sell it. Corey says they'll take it. Shawn accuses Phoenie of trespassing on their property. Now, which I thought was a really fun little flip for Sean to do so quick. 00:50:31 Speaker 2: I will take it. Oh the question, because I completely forgot to mention some did you guys notice the flare of the flashlight that's burned onto the video? 00:50:41 Speaker 1: I did know that. 00:50:44 Speaker 2: Five times, so it's when Ben shines a flashlight in my face. What he's yelling at me that we're in the Poconos or whatever about the Rocky mountains. He's actually, it's actually like a flare on the video itself, and it's an after image burned under the video. I was like, is that on my screen or is that my eyes? I watched it like five times. I was like, no, it's like it's like a technical issue that is. Yeah, it's really interesting. 00:51:10 Speaker 1: I did also notice that I had no idea what it was, but I was like, oh, look at that. Look at that light burn. 00:51:16 Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean it has something to do. I don't know enough technically about what. I know. You're not supposed to like shine lights directly into camera. Film can handle it, but video can burn this like after image like that. And I'm so it's so amazing that it like stayed to the streamers, you know what I mean? Like that this it's image. 00:51:36 Speaker 1: Well, what did you want to say? 00:51:38 Speaker 3: So Feene came up there, He's saying, because he was going to use the time to clean it up, right, Yeah, okay. It was just it strange to me. I thought I remembered when I was watching this episode for some reason, I thought he came up there because he knew Corey and Sean were up there alone. Yeah, the ranger something right, like he you what he was he was walking into them there. 00:52:03 Speaker 2: Yeah. 00:52:04 Speaker 3: They didn't write to that. That's why it was a little weird for me. I didn't understand what was going on at that point. 00:52:08 Speaker 1: I know. I do think it actually would have been really smart for Feeni to have noticed Sean stole the key in the kitchen, like we wouldn't have seen. 00:52:15 Speaker 2: It in that earlier kitchen scene. 00:52:17 Speaker 1: But for Feeni to say, you think you could get anything by me, I saw you take the key and and then have been coming. 00:52:24 Speaker 2: That anyway, I think we should just go with that. It does. Yeah, he does. He does. 00:52:28 Speaker 3: He's not shocked when he opens the door. 00:52:30 Speaker 2: He knows exactly what he's got planning this all along. 00:52:38 Speaker 3: Okay, I think correct. 00:52:40 Speaker 1: Yea, So it wasn't mentioned, but that's the story. We're sticking with it. 00:52:43 Speaker 3: I like it. 00:52:44 Speaker 2: Uh. 00:52:45 Speaker 1: Cory asks Phoenie to call their parents so they could come pick him up before things get too out of hand, and Phoene says, nope, it's too late. They're stuck here until morning and there's only one bed. Sean tells Peoenie he'll flip him for it. Phoene catches the coin in mid air, looks at it and tells Sean he lost lost. 00:53:00 Speaker 2: Like great physical stuff, Like I don't, it's just completely in control of it. I'm like, and I don't remember this moment at all, but I'm like, home, is he going to catch it? Call it? Walk away? Like that? Just a beautiful Daniels. 00:53:15 Speaker 3: Every every time you especially when we started the show, writer you talked about not being present in your own body, and you can see that with actors. Bill Daniels is a masterclass of always being in his body. You can just see he's in perfect control of everything around him, of whatever it is. Props, you name, stage actor, you know it comes back to that, like you, you use your entire body and you're always Yeah, it's so good, it's amazing. 00:53:40 Speaker 2: I mean he was also working with Chef Anton that week then. 00:53:44 Speaker 3: Stealing watches and all that kind of stuff. 00:53:46 Speaker 2: Yeah. So then we're in Chubby's. 00:53:48 Speaker 1: Frankie is taking a shot at the pool table and for some reason, the crowd is still gathered. Bianca looks disappointed. Frankie misses his shot and everyone cheers. Eric asks mister Williams why everyone is cheering. Mister Williams says they've never seen people hold it take for three hours without sinking a shot. Eric, seeing this is a good thing, stands up and waves to the crowd. He asks Bianca how it feels to be dating a winner. She says she'll let him know as soon as she finds one and walks out. Eric's shouts, so you'll call me. Then, Joey and Frankie, in an attempt to console their pool competition, says Bianca was too good for him anyway. Eric says he's right, she was just holding him back. Eric yells, let's play some bull and then we see a little montage with dramatic music playing as we witness both boys still unable to sink a single shot. The pool balls are curving unnaturally, they're defying gravity by stacking on top of each other, and one even explodes. 00:54:36 Speaker 2: It flads turns to powder. 00:54:38 Speaker 1: Yes, it's just literally a magical table. 00:54:41 Speaker 2: So I you know, it's weird that your first scene to sort of set up all the exposition for this was with Tony and then Eli comes to witness the it should be that you. It should be like one of them for both right, Like he should have been you talking to Eli Williams, mister Williams. And then he shows up to like see and he could like comment on the conflict, like oh, you're still trying to get that girl or you know whatever. 00:55:06 Speaker 3: But now he's just there to hang out with high school kids and grab harder like you do as a teacher. 00:55:11 Speaker 1: Yeah, that's normal, that's totally normal. And then we're in Phoene's cottage again. Phoene, Corey, and Sean are sitting at a table finishing a meal. Sean puts a spoon on his nose and asks Cory to time how long he can hold it. Corey asks to borrow Phoene's watch, but he says no. Corey explains that Sean is trying to beat his previous record of seven and a half hours. Phoene asks Sean if he think what he thinks seven and a half hours of school work could do to his history grade, and Sean argues that his spoon trick brings pleasure to others. Phoene puts his watch near the kitchen sink, like. 00:55:43 Speaker 2: You do you do, like one does immediately takes it out. 00:55:47 Speaker 1: He puts it near the kitchen sink and a little bit of foreshadowing and then asks okay, yeah, and then he asks Sean if he enjoys doing the spoon trick, and Sean says yes. The prompts Sean to ask Feenie what he does up here for fun. Phoene reads books. He asks Sean if he wants to join him. Sean asks if he's supposed to jump off a bridge if Phoenie does too. Phoene hands the spoon back to Sean and tells him to go for the gold. As he walks away, Sean tells Corey that he thinks Peoenie hates him and they'll never understand each other. They're complete opposites. Corey tells him he should give Phoenie a chance. So Corey and Sean walk over to Feenie, who's sitting in a chair reading his book. 00:56:24 Speaker 2: This is that, this is where the show just goes, like exactly where it needed to go. It's like we've exhausted the Cory Feene relationship throughout the years, so now that is stable, and now it's time to bring in Sean's Feenie relationship and like it's so cool, Like I totally forgot that this happened. I mean, I think if you had told me, like, do you remember the episode with the watch, I would have been like, oh, yeah, there were, but I didn't remember that it was Sean and Feenie ye as the central relationship of that storyline of that episode, And it's so cool. It just makes me so happy. 00:56:57 Speaker 1: I also love I didn't expect it to be so Ernie. I didn't expect I knew when they're walking over there to have this conversation with Phoenie. I was expecting it to come from like a little bit more of a jokey place with Sean, but instead Sean just goes right for it. Why do you hate me? And I just I love it. 00:57:12 Speaker 3: We also talk about sorry talking about things they write into the show for us. We talked about counting Crows at the beginning. They also write in that now Corey and Shan thought Bill was British. Thought so that whole thing was like that's what we thought. We were like, he's British, so they ye. 00:57:29 Speaker 1: So Sean asks Pheenie why he hates him so much, and Phoene questions that's what you think. Sean responds by saying he's always getting on his case. Phoene says, he's always trying to get the best out of him, but he certainly doesn't hate him. It frustrates him to see a young charismatic man with so much unfilled potential. Sean says, he understands he's just another hopeless student. Phoene says, then he must just be another stodgy old principle, and Sean says the stalgiest mister. Phoenie asks what Sean knows about him. Sean hesitates and Feene laughs. Sean says Phoenie doesn't know anything about him either, and then Phoenie proceeds to prove Shan wrong by reciting his transcript and even adding that he loves a musical group named Counting Crows, something that was not listed in his transcript. And then this is where we see that they've stolen writer's life and put it on television, and we still can't get into see Accounting Crow show. 00:58:16 Speaker 3: So Rose tells him how much he loves him, says Strafty Bright talks about the cutting car. 00:58:22 Speaker 2: Here's a stroppy Bright Rose, Rose, I'm off to a crow's contra. 00:58:26 Speaker 3: Off a count of girls concert. 00:58:29 Speaker 1: Corey asks if Phoene knows how much knows this much about all his students, and he admits that he does. 00:58:34 Speaker 2: Not, which is my favorite line. Yeah, because it's just a little hint that like, oh yeah, seanial favorite, yeah, special, And it doesn't have to belabor the point. He just is like, Nope, I don't know. I don't. 00:58:49 Speaker 3: Bill's reaction to the subtle way he plays when you say, why do you hate me? It's written all over his face in the best way of like, not only do I hate you, but I hate that you think that exactly. 00:59:03 Speaker 1: He's actually physically hurt. Yes, and by the idea that that's how it's come across. 00:59:08 Speaker 3: He just the way he closes his book and you just see this look come across as it's so amazing. It's just incredible. 00:59:16 Speaker 1: Yeah, it's really great. 00:59:17 Speaker 3: Next level acting, just next level acting. 00:59:30 Speaker 1: Phoene asks for help with the dishes, and Sean says, if he knows everything about him, then he must also know he hates doing dishes. Corey asks Phoene to reveal something about himself. Phoene answers those closest to him would say he also dislikes doing the dishes, and with that he grabs He encourages Corey and Sean to get into the sink and do the dishes. Corey goes to grab the rag, which you should remember has Phoene's watch laying on top of it. Phoene tells him to look out and uh oh, the watch falls into the sink. Corey goes to grab it and instead pulls out the sink stopper, guiding the watch right down the drain. Phoene looks into the sink and he is visibly upset, but he tells them it's only a thirty year old watch, and he supposes it was time to get a new one anyway, but he is clearly very shaken. Cory and Sean looked disappointed as well as Phoene walks away. Just I was thinking about Phoenie as just like an adult, and I was like, yeah, I don't have that kind of patience. Had I walked into my cabin and two kids were there, I would not have been like, well, we're stuck here for the night, like and then they I know it is he's so. 01:00:37 Speaker 2: Far strong to read a book that it's like We're not going to have any distractions. I'm going to be the best teacher possible and change their lives in a night. And he does, and he does it. Gosh, do you have a cabin, Daniel, because you really don't you have a cabin. 01:00:52 Speaker 3: Yeah, I have a cabin. 01:00:53 Speaker 1: Yeah, bunnies are there buies around here? I keep snow bunnies there. 01:00:56 Speaker 3: Yeah, that's awesome. 01:00:58 Speaker 1: Yeah. 01:00:58 Speaker 3: I wouldn't want to break into Daniel's cabin because you're right, I don't think you have the patience. And eventually I think the axe murderer story would be about you taking out the two little kids in your cabin. 01:01:10 Speaker 1: For sure, someone would die there. 01:01:12 Speaker 2: That's the truth. I don't have a cabin because someone there to Panga can't be a ranger car. 01:01:23 Speaker 1: So we're still in Phoenie's cottage. Sean and Corey are now in the living room sans Feenie. Sean has a book in his hands and says he's reading the book Feenie was looking at is actually a diary. Corey can't believe he's reading Phoene's diary. What are you nuts? 01:01:36 Speaker 2: Crazy? 01:01:37 Speaker 1: Then he quickly asks if they're mentioned in it? Sean says, Phoenie knew so much about him. He just wanted to get to know Phoenie. 01:01:43 Speaker 2: Yeah. I love the way Ben does that are we mentioned it was a little was he mad? 01:01:51 Speaker 1: It's so cute. Sean tells Corey that Phoene used to come up here with his wife Lillian. Corey says he knew that, but Sean didn't know he was married. Sean reads Corey an excerpt from Phoene's diary that says, every now and then you have to break the rules. Corey says, Wow, he sounds a lot like Sean. Sean reads the next excerpt from December nineteenth. It's the next day. Lillian and I never made it out to the slopes. No regrets, No did. 01:02:21 Speaker 2: Either of you. 01:02:23 Speaker 3: If somebody had asked, could either of you have remembered mister Feoenie's wife's name? 01:02:30 Speaker 1: No, I wasn't remember that he had a wife. 01:02:33 Speaker 3: I knew he was married at one point. 01:02:35 Speaker 2: But Lily and I would it up when we were watching season one because he makes a reference to two yep something that we were all like, does this mean Phoenie's been married before? Remember? I think when he has salad by himself, so Salid for one. Yeah, they were in that episode, I think. And then we got a bunch of letters that people said that this episode does explain that backstory. So I knew because of that. But if you had asked me, was Phoenie ever married, and I wouldn't have. 01:03:02 Speaker 3: Known, I could have. I would have said, yeah, Feenie was married. I couldn't have pulled Lillian out. I mean, I don't remember that name, Lillian Feoenie. Don't remember that name at all, and I don't know if it's ever mentioned again. 01:03:12 Speaker 1: That's yeah, yeah, it probably is, but I'm just saying that, Yeah, I don't know. Corey reads the next entry that details their fifth anniversary when Lillian gave Foenie the wristwatch and we have our first ever violin swell. That tells us something important is happening in this scene, doesn't me, So let's talk about. 01:03:32 Speaker 2: The Phoenie prequel show. 01:03:35 Speaker 3: Show is just going to say that I saw it there, I paused it when I was watching. Sue said yes, I said, can you imagine the sixties and the sixty one? 01:03:46 Speaker 2: He is thirty one years old. 01:03:48 Speaker 3: He's thirty one in sixty one? What everything the country is going through the students. He's going to have Lillian as his wife. Yes, it would be the biggest show on televih and what happened to Lilian Actly what I would do is go forward later than this, So it's after his wife dies. 01:04:03 Speaker 2: So it's nineteen sixty six. She's died tragically. We don't know what we get to make a thanec she was run over by a bunch. 01:04:15 Speaker 4: Of sere by a ski buddy. 01:04:18 Speaker 3: Oh my god, she's killed by a moose or a great so late sixties, late sixties, he's early, he's late. 01:04:25 Speaker 2: He's now thirty turn getting into his forties. He's thirty eight to forty two ish. We have the late sixties through early seventies. Feenie teacher single for the first time in his life, trying to be and some of the students are so good. 01:04:39 Speaker 3: Some of the students are kind of hippie. 01:04:41 Speaker 2: Some of the students are by the loss of his wife. Yeah, so he has it becomes like the stand and deliver real channel it into the students and like that becomes the students can be so good. 01:04:53 Speaker 3: Also, can you think of because I was trying to I literally pause to write all this down. Can you think of a modern day six other than like that seventy show that is a period piece sitcom, right, because it would be a four camera period piece. Yeah show, but though those are all the same family. I mean, other than that doing a period piece, wasn't the Goldberg Teacher all that stuff? The single camera? I would do this multi camp. I would straight up do it multily. 01:05:24 Speaker 2: I think it needs to be a hybrid. 01:05:26 Speaker 3: No, that's why, because I think that's what everyone would expect. But having Feenie in a four camera sitcom and his home like, oh. 01:05:34 Speaker 2: I mean, casting Phoenie is the big challenge there. I know, a thirty eight year old Bill Daniels. 01:05:39 Speaker 1: As soon as the strike is over, let's work on it. 01:05:43 Speaker 2: Who would we get? We'd have to that's casting. 01:05:46 Speaker 3: I don't Yeah, we can't do casting. We can't talk about anything until the strike is over. But ye, yes, it would be such a good show. And that would be the lead in to our Brother Sister show to bring back tgif we have two of the four blocks we need for the block for. 01:06:00 Speaker 1: Teaching, okay, perfect, Yeah, and it's just called he yes rolls right off the tongue so they realize it's the wristwatch they lost in the drain. Corey continues to read that watch will keep time but for a moment in time, but her smile will reflect in its face forever A little. I like it. 01:06:27 Speaker 2: It's things, but all you to do is reference the wristwatch, and I feel like it would have been enough, but to have the whole poetic assidge about how it will last forever. 01:06:39 Speaker 3: And now it's it's a kids show. 01:06:40 Speaker 2: It's a kid show, exactly fine. 01:06:43 Speaker 1: So then we're still in Phoenie's cottage. Phoene is walking down the stairs and Corey runs in the front door, urgently telling Phoene he needs a flashlight and a wetsuit. Sean then frantically enters, and he's soaking wet. Phoene says, Sean is dripping on the rug and he reeks. Sean apologizes, but says his septic tanks a lot deeper than it looks. 01:07:00 Speaker 2: Phoenie, gross, gross. 01:07:02 Speaker 3: And so unhealthy. Just for the record, is swimming and human? 01:07:08 Speaker 1: Yeah, unlike those healthy ski bunnies. He's just woman and sewage. 01:07:12 Speaker 2: I mean, health should have been covered head to toe. I should have, yeah, but I guess that would have just been really gross really really good. You have to have that balance right, like, but realistically, if I was diving into a septic that I would be covered in crap. 01:07:26 Speaker 1: Yeah, which is terrible. Phoene tells them he's tried being patient, but this nonsense has gone too far. Corey tries to interrupt, but Phoene says he doesn't want to hear another word from them until they're back in the city. Sean pulls the wristwatch out and hands it to mister Feoenie. Corey hopes it still works. Phoenie admits he never thought he'd see it again. Sean says they figured it meant a lot to him, being his anniversary watch and all. Phoene asks Sean if he read a book, and Sean responds, I guess I did. Phoene thinks them both and tells them to take a dip in the lake and get cleaned up before they leave. They leave, the boys look shocked it's twenty degrees out hed freeze. Foene shrugs and tells them take us wetter. Corey and Sean laugh as they walk outside, and Feene stays behind in the cottage, looking around with emotion. 01:08:09 Speaker 3: With just a phill watch. 01:08:11 Speaker 1: Yep on his wrist on his wrist, and then we're in the Matthew's kitchen. Alan, Amy, Feenie, and Turner are all in the kitchen, clearly angry at the boys. Alan asks Cory and Sean what the heck they were thinking. Amy tells the boy they lied, trespassed, and endangered themselves. Alan adds they're in it a lot deeper than they were in that septic tank. Amy apologizes to Feenie, and Turner says the punishment will fit the crime. Feoenie wants the parents to understand the kid's behavior was wrong, but their spirit is right and they're two good guys. He walks away and whispers to Sean, I'm pulling for you, and now it's really cute because you guys do have your own relationship. Very sweet. Corey hesitates and then follows mister Feenie out the back door, and Sean follows. Then we're in the Matthew's backyard. The boy's hand, mister Feenie his key back. They figure he's going to it when he sells the place, and Phoenie responds, if I sell it. Sean then pulls the spoon out of his pocket. And hands it to Feenie. Alan, from inside the house yells to the boys, we're not done with you yet. Phoenie gives them advice don't talk, nod a lot smart. 01:09:15 Speaker 2: It would have been so cool. In Girl Meets World, Sean runs away to a cabin. Mm hmm, so cool if it had been Phoenie's cabin, Phoene's cabin. Would like if I had access to it, and so because there's this whole episode where I'm off in a cabin and yeah, they come and get me to bring me back, and it would have been so cool to just have it beat me. 01:09:36 Speaker 1: Yeah that you borrowed Phoenie's cabin. 01:09:38 Speaker 2: I'm telling you cabin references. 01:09:40 Speaker 1: So, Cory and Sean walk back into the kitchen and Phoene places the spoon on his nose. He balances it for a second and admits, I still don't get it. 01:09:47 Speaker 3: I still don't get it. Great, great bat Still. 01:09:50 Speaker 1: And then we're in the tag and Chubby's Eric is now asleep. This bad game of pool just will not end. Joey flicks Eric on the nose, and Eric moans in pain and asks if it's his shot. Joey's as the game is over. They've been playing for fifteen hours and they still haven't sunk a ball. Frankie says he has to get to church for choir practice anyway. He's an alto. Joey chimes in, saying he sings like an angel. Eric stands up and says they're chickening out right when he asks them where he wants them. Joey says Eric couldn't hit the broad side of a barn if it came up to him and said, hey, I'm the broadside of a barn bar. 01:10:20 Speaker 3: So first of all, before I stand up, I roll over and I'm doing the perfect Burt Reynolds. I don't know if anybody else notice that I have the great Burt Reynolds pose on the chairs. And then I remember this last shot because up up now again. I was told this several times. I'm sure it wasn't true, but Chef Anton and a number of the other people there told me that this was like a record. This was the number that the most balls put in with one shot ever on camera. 01:10:52 Speaker 2: At that time. 01:10:53 Speaker 1: You do it in one This was the first. 01:10:56 Speaker 3: And only take, a first take, and you can watch my face. You see me like like oh, they all went in because during rehearsals it never worked. 01:11:05 Speaker 1: And that's my memory from this week. And I wasn't even there, but I knew the minute it happened. I said to Jensen Carr, husband, producer of this podcast, he did that in one take. Yeah, that was the first take. And I like, it's mind boggling to me. 01:11:22 Speaker 3: And you can see my face where I'm like like, oh wow, oh I did and then I'm like, oh wait, bring it back, bring it back, you got it. 01:11:27 Speaker 1: You're still Actually I didn't notice it. I was shocked because I thought, I thought, how did he not react to that? 01:11:34 Speaker 3: I could see it in my face where I was like, oh my god, I was show. But I was told at the time that was like a record for the most balls put in with one one swipe in a pool tair. 01:11:41 Speaker 1: And there's no magic to that. There was no magnets. You literally had to hit one ball and there was a way to do it. It was obviously set up sure so that if you did it correctly, they would all go in. But you had to hit it perfectly where it was supposed to and you did. 01:11:58 Speaker 3: And the cube ball originally the way he had it set up, the cueball was not supposed to go in. He went, you cleared the whole table, so even the cue ball goes in, everything goes in. Yeah, it was that was fun. That was fun. I remember him us setting it up and him deciding how it was going to do. 01:12:12 Speaker 2: How can we find out if you, like are a world record holder? 01:12:14 Speaker 3: Oh, I have no idea. I mean I can't and again who knows, but he did. He told me that flat out. 01:12:20 Speaker 2: He's like, if you do this, I was going to say, now you have to do it underwater exactly. And I've been thinking about to keep the whole time. Is it card tricks? Is it disappearing stuff? Is it because you can't talk underwater? How do you scuba magic? 01:12:33 Speaker 1: We'll find out on his Instagram. I bet it's card Jensen said, card tricks and juggle juggling and. 01:12:38 Speaker 2: Juggling underwater juggling. It feels really easy. Wait twenty minutes, it'll come back down right. Underwater juggling. 01:12:53 Speaker 3: Just you're watch like fifty I got we gotta find out what that is. 01:13:02 Speaker 2: Slow motion underwater because you can just talk like. 01:13:07 Speaker 3: We're still talking slow that'd be me. 01:13:12 Speaker 2: We got to figure out how to do that. 01:13:13 Speaker 1: Under well, after you hit all the balls in, Eric walks out, shaking his head, saying, just just Lexico. 01:13:20 Speaker 3: Just like Mexica. 01:13:21 Speaker 2: Great line, it was fun. 01:13:22 Speaker 3: That was a fun storyline that was absurd and ridiculous, and I thought balanced the drama of the a storyline perfectly. 01:13:29 Speaker 2: That's what I loved it so much. 01:13:31 Speaker 1: I loved the episode me too, so great.
