<v Speaker 2>was really big, kind of all one room, and I
<v Speaker 2>think you had donated all of the furniture that was
<v Speaker 2>in there.

<v Speaker 2>And there was like swinger bed?

<v Speaker 2>your origin story because you had a very unique path
<v Speaker 2>to the adult industry. So how did you end up
<v Speaker 2>as a director?
<v Speaker 3>Well, it was accidental. I never planned to be knew
<v Speaker 3>nothing about cameras anything. I feel like that's like everybody's
<v Speaker 3>scar I was. It's just a stockbroker minding my own business.
<v Speaker 2>You were a stockbroker.
<v Speaker 3>Stockbroker, you know, firms were going under long winding story
<v Speaker 3>story show. I end up in Florida. We raised money
<v Speaker 3>to make this kickboxing thing. This guy is going to do.
<v Speaker 3>My partner's like, oh, we can't be involved with this guy.
<v Speaker 3>He used to do porn. Like, oh, no way, that's
<v Speaker 3>the mafia. I can't go near there. This is nineteen
<v Speaker 3>ninety right, And anyway, I end up getting important long
<v Speaker 3>story show because I meet Buck Adams and Okay, Jim,
<v Speaker 3>you should be producing movies. The distributorship goes to hell
<v Speaker 3>and Buck's like, Jim, let's go back to California and
<v Speaker 3>make porn. You're from California, so we come back here.
<v Speaker 3>That's how I got going with porn, Buck Adams. I
<v Speaker 3>was just producer, Wow Buck. And that first movie I
<v Speaker 3>did was that speed Trap old movie. It's the one
<v Speaker 3>that for years they ran on that the Spice channel
<v Speaker 3>or one of the stations with the Ferrari racing the
<v Speaker 3>Porsche in the rain or whatever that was. That was

<v Speaker 3>money off the first one. I go a friend of
<v Speaker 3>mine from a rock band. It's like, Jim, why don't
<v Speaker 3>we make a porn We'll go in half like whatever,
<v Speaker 3>I'll do it again. And and the guys from the
<v Speaker 3>rock bands was on acid the morning of the shoot
<v Speaker 3>and I get up there and I could, Okay, what's
<v Speaker 3>the plan because I'm the producer And he was laying
<v Speaker 3>rolling around the ground staring at a cigarette and I felt,
<v Speaker 3>you know, somebody has to step up here. And I
<v Speaker 3>had the porn experience. And we had a cameraman, my
<v Speaker 3>buddy flew out to shoot for free, you know, who
<v Speaker 3>was a videographer but knew nothing about porn. So I
<v Speaker 3>became the director by default. Wow, and that's how I
<v Speaker 3>started directing porn. I had the same story story why
<v Speaker 3>I started shooting me the cameraman porn. Yeah, it was
<v Speaker 3>the same type of thing.
<v Speaker 2>You showed up and like the cameraman was on drugs
<v Speaker 2>and couldn't do it.
<v Speaker 3>Long story short, your passive. We had this movie we
<v Speaker 3>made I sell it. Do you remember Dave Cravis Coastline.

<v Speaker 3>are coming down on to get us. David Lord's swim
<v Speaker 3>in the ocean escape. I kept on shooting and they
<v Speaker 3>arrested me.
<v Speaker 2>Wait, okay, hold on, you're filming a sex scene on
<v Speaker 2>the beach. The cops are coming down and you're like, no, no, no, no,
<v Speaker 2>we still need to come shot. Ignore the cops. David
<v Speaker 2>Lord jumps into the Oh.

<v Speaker 3>until I got up with shooting without permit and all
<v Speaker 3>this time. But they were trying to.

<v Speaker 3>So yeah, that was a wake up call. So the
<v Speaker 3>next time I was much more careful and shoot at
<v Speaker 3>the beach. I tried to run around it.
<v Speaker 2>You still went back and shout of the beach.
<v Speaker 3>Let's just say it may have happened, but I was
<v Speaker 3>much more careful. I realized you shouldn't just do it
<v Speaker 3>with people walking around, and the cops will frown on it.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, yes, yes they will.
<v Speaker 3>I remember the nineties, I must have been popped thirty times.
<v Speaker 3>I mean the nineties, they were still hitting locations all
<v Speaker 3>the time. Yeah, you'd be shooting at least thirty times. Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>We were always being lined up all the time, sitting
<v Speaker 3>there for hours. You know, whoever's fucking would get arrested
<v Speaker 3>or you know how it would be.
<v Speaker 2>I mean we were in we at our studios. We
<v Speaker 2>always shooting in the studio. So yeah, but we actually
<v Speaker 2>I didn't start working in porn until ninety eight, so yeah.

<v Speaker 3>was always after you and the neighbors complaining and even
<v Speaker 3>if they thought you were shooting porn, they'd line yet
<v Speaker 3>they want to arrest you, but you'd be always lined up. Yeah,

<v Speaker 3>I'm like, what, I got a fucking years probation for
<v Speaker 3>this bullshit. And that was because after everybody stopped pulling
<v Speaker 3>permits because of OSHA remember this, yes, uh, and people were.
<v Speaker 2>No longer Measure B after Measure B.
<v Speaker 3>This is the one before all that shit. This is
<v Speaker 3>the one. I don't know what it was, but basically
