00:00:09 Speaker 1: Hello, and welcome to this episode. 00:00:11 Speaker 2: To keep it positive, sweetie, I'm Christopher and Hazel, and today I have with me someone that I know has made you. 00:00:17 Speaker 1: Laugh, the one, the only, Emanuel Hudson. 00:00:21 Speaker 2: Yes, sir, yes, Like, oh my gosh, it's been some years. I think I ran to you in the at the mall, like not too long ago, maybe like a year ago. Remember you was with Nico and Kaylyn. He was in the mall in the big truck at Phillips. 00:00:39 Speaker 3: Oh yeah, saw yep, yep, yep over there yet philps. Wow. 00:00:45 Speaker 2: That was like that was it had been maybe last year maybe sometime it was no, it was actually last year sometimes time and we'd. 00:00:54 Speaker 1: Be busy, so it was kind of like when did I see it? 00:00:56 Speaker 2: But like it's been a minute since we actually got to sit down and chill. 00:01:00 Speaker 1: Oh man, I'm so happy. 00:01:01 Speaker 3: To have you here. 00:01:02 Speaker 2: We started to show off with a quote or a song, and I'd be remiss if I didn't take it back to where I remember the world really was like these guys are funny, and that was questions. 00:01:13 Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, you've been. It was so funny. I was in my room practice sown was like where, Oh my God, who, man, you've been where. 00:01:23 Speaker 3: That's that's funny you say that because a lot of people don't know that that's my least favorite video what all videos that I've ever done. 00:01:31 Speaker 1: It's so relatable and real. 00:01:33 Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean simply because when I when I was writing it, after I did it, and I played it back on a little small camera that I had a little laptop, I would just kind of look at it and I'm just like, man, this is whack, Like this is not funny. 00:01:49 Speaker 1: And you didn't think that people were thinking it was funny. 00:01:51 Speaker 4: Nah, but be simply because. 00:01:55 Speaker 3: I don't know. I just didn't. I wasn't feeling it. But it had been maybe like like two two and a half some years since I've dropped a video. And then that's when I just I just tweeted it. I was just like, hey, cause Nico actually Nico was on the way to come pick me up to go bowling Hu and the bowling ally was like twelve minutes away from my house at the time, And when he told me he was on the way, I was I was still watching. I'm like, man, I ain't putting it out in two three years whatever. I just so I tweeted it like three times, went to get dressed. Nico came and got me on the way to the bowling alley. In the middle of the drive, like my homeboy Andre Columbus called me and was like, Yo, your video going viral. I'm like which one? He was like, I guess the one you just put up in the red hoodie or someone. I said, dog, I just put that up probably like six seven minutes ago, right, he said, yeah, it's whole word start. 00:02:46 Speaker 2: Man. 00:02:46 Speaker 3: It got over four hundred thousand views already. I was like what Then when we get to the bowling alley, like people were coming up to me, was like, hey, is this is this you? I'm like, oh Na, it's over with it took me back, put me in the game. I'm in the game. 00:03:01 Speaker 1: Wow, that's crazy. 00:03:03 Speaker 2: How something that you were like, oh, this is wag, this is stupid, and probably were reluctant to post it and then that that fast. 00:03:10 Speaker 3: That's usual. 00:03:10 Speaker 4: That's usually how it is. 00:03:12 Speaker 3: Like a lot of musicians can and artists can understand music. Artists can understand like you could be working on the album and the one song you really just put your all into, blood Sweating, tear, This one's gonna go and you put that out and it's like, yes, it's cool, but it's the one you just threw together at three am in the morning before the deadline. That's the one that goes crazy every time. Yeah, I think that's that. That's it had that same effect with questions. I love it, I love it. 00:03:38 Speaker 1: I remember the first time I met you in person. 00:03:40 Speaker 2: It was I was actually a part of one of your we gotta find the footage the baseball field song. 00:03:45 Speaker 3: Oh yeah, look listen, it's in the DM. It was a parody of it goes Down in the dim. Yeah. No, no, no, no, no, no, it wasn't no no, that. 00:04:00 Speaker 1: Was another one, but it was like because it was sliding. 00:04:04 Speaker 3: In there, this was this was the original in the d MS. He was on the baseball Yes, me you Kyla Field. 00:04:13 Speaker 4: Yes, it was so many people and that we. 00:04:15 Speaker 3: Got hits, man, y'all got hits. 00:04:18 Speaker 4: We got hits. 00:04:19 Speaker 2: No for real, No, I remember that. We had to find the footage of that for sure. And I was at the at home base that it hit the ball. 00:04:26 Speaker 3: Yeah, oh, I think you was in the scene. You might have been in the scene with d C. 00:04:31 Speaker 1: Yeah, d yeah, I think. 00:04:33 Speaker 4: He was the umpire. 00:04:35 Speaker 3: Yeah, wow, we. 00:04:39 Speaker 1: Got hit and we go way babe. 00:04:40 Speaker 2: I remember that was the first one actually got to meet you and see the work and the energy you guys put behind your content, Like that was my first time. And I feel like that's when like content and social media was really really starting to come together, and we had never seen people do it the way. 00:04:54 Speaker 1: Y'all were doing it. YouTube was booming, but like to see. 00:04:57 Speaker 2: How you were literally shooting like real video behind y'all. 00:05:01 Speaker 3: Took it serious. Yeah man, we still we're still doing it. 00:05:05 Speaker 1: Yeah, into another level. And I love that. I do. 00:05:09 Speaker 4: I appreciate that. 00:05:10 Speaker 3: That's why that's crazy. I didn't know that that was the first time. 00:05:12 Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, no, for sure. 00:05:15 Speaker 2: I want to take it back because I always like to give our audience an opportunity to get to know our guests from childhood to where they are now, to kind of give them a sense of the journey. Let's talk about young Emanual, Like, were you always funny or were you shot at some point? 00:05:30 Speaker 1: How did you even get started in this? 00:05:32 Speaker 3: The younger Manual was all I was always like a class a class clown, you know what I'm saying. But at the same time mon dukes and pops. They didn't play that bad grade type stuff, you know what I'm saying. So for the most part, yeah, I was. I was pretty much, I believe so, you know, cause it's kind of hard to like explain what your personality is at that age. You're not thinking about that, you know. That's usually other people's job to tell you, like what they think about you. But for what I from what I've heard from close friends and people that actually know me, yeah, I was the class clown, always making people laugh, just cool with everybody if we're in school. I'm cool with the cheerleaders, the jocks, the lanes, the chess club. You know what I'm saying. 00:06:19 Speaker 4: I'm cool with everybody. I believe. 00:06:22 Speaker 3: I was very outgoing, especially especially in college before all this stuff got started. Man. I remember the first time I went to I went to Aubandy State and the football team wanted to fight me. Yeah, because when my orientation day, they were up there doing a dance that my brother had made years ago, and it was called Cranked at o'kief and they like, I'm like, I saw them do it on stage and I'm like, Yo, that's my brother, Like that's that's my brother dance. I'm like, oh no, I'm not like so I get up at orientation in front of everybody, all the friends from I going family, like, yo, that's my brother's dad. I was like, oh what. So we started dancing, and that's kind of how I became like known on that campus. And they were like I had introduced him into a new dance that my brother created, my older brother o'keeith. Yeah, yeah, and I had introduced to introduced the campus to a new dance that the football team. They were just hating at the time, but over time, like one by one, like one of the football. 00:07:26 Speaker 4: Players, they even put a hit on me. 00:07:28 Speaker 3: I ain't gonna like, yo, yeah, yeah, I'm telling you man, my child, I mean, my young man was like, I got a story, man, It's just be funny. But they wording around campus was they was hating so hard. Today. 00:07:40 Speaker 4: They was like, Yo, we're gonna we're gonna beat him up if he. 00:07:43 Speaker 3: Come to the club. And someone came to me and they was like, I was like, yo, y'all trying to go to I had no idea though, And one of my friends at the time he was like, yeah, I don't think you want to go to the club tonight because he was on the football team. And he was like, man, yeah, they got a list of people that they gonna beat up and you on the list. 00:08:01 Speaker 1: I do im. 00:08:03 Speaker 3: I say, y'all want to go to the club, like we gonna go or not? 00:08:05 Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying. 00:08:06 Speaker 1: You still wanted to go? 00:08:07 Speaker 3: I was going cause I don't. I probably would have got my butt whoopded if I would have went, but I just wasn't really thinking about that. And then just later on, as time progressed, one by one, one of the football team, one of the football players, they would see me in different areas of the campus or at the gas station. And I remember being at the gas station Pampson now Laters, and I looked up and one of the football players he was just kind of looking at me, and then he was just like, hey, man, you cool dog. You know what I'm saying. Like he dapped me up. 00:08:35 Speaker 4: He was like, man, the dance funny too, that you're doing. 00:08:38 Speaker 3: And it's just one by one, they just started showing love like over time, and I'm like, I mean, you know, but it was pretty uh, it was pretty dope. Man. That was after I had found out that they were doing the dance in the locker room. They were so busy joking on me and like roast me, but they were actually doing it, and it was like, you know, yeah, there what it is. 00:08:57 Speaker 1: Man, I love it. 00:08:58 Speaker 3: I love that. 00:08:59 Speaker 2: Any point like during that journey, I guess that was a point of like some form of bullying being the funny guy. Did you ever go through that in high school? Because you're always just a lotter. 00:09:09 Speaker 4: I'm a I'm a roaster, you know what I'm saying, Like. 00:09:13 Speaker 3: Facts, it's hard to bully me. You come and say something about me, you know, and from the south side, Clayton condemy, I'm a we do one thing, a true roaster. Know what did me? We look you up and down, check Rachel and but I'm on you. What I'm saying, like going for none of that. And then just growing up with five older brothers. You know what I'm saying, Well, I feel as the youngest, but just going, just going up in the house full of brothers. Man, we wouldn't you wouldn't go. I got looked, you put your hands on me. I got two more brothers in the next grade up. We were on your head. 00:09:48 Speaker 1: Yeah, that's crazy. 00:09:49 Speaker 4: I don't think I've ever been. 00:09:52 Speaker 3: No, I've never been bullied, not like that. 00:09:55 Speaker 2: That's good when you talk to my team, we talked to that ask you about spirituality because we always touch on people's faith walk and you said you were raising the church, then you were spiritual, but like not too super religious. 00:10:09 Speaker 3: Right right? 00:10:10 Speaker 1: What was it like? 00:10:11 Speaker 3: I mean at the time, again, being being kids, my parents did the best they could, which is like instilling the world of God in us. But as kids, like we were kind of just going to church and being in the church all the time because they kind of like made us, you know what I'm saying. So yeah, like most kids, but because my mom and dad kept at. 00:10:31 Speaker 4: It, certain stuff stuck with us, you know what I'm saying. 00:10:35 Speaker 3: But yeah, we was in church Sunday to Sunday, man Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday night, Thursday, Friday, then and then on the holidays Halloween, Hallolujah night went on tricker treat No, you could tricker a treat with the Lord, you know what I'm saying. 00:10:50 Speaker 4: Bench of how it went. 00:10:51 Speaker 3: But as we got older, when I started experiencing certain things in life, like just in my teens, being. 00:10:58 Speaker 4: On my own a little bit more. 00:11:01 Speaker 3: I was a little rebellious because I didn't get to do a lot as a kid, you know what I'm saying, But not too rebellious. But now that I know what I know, now I can't. I am kind of proud of my spirituality. 00:11:14 Speaker 2: Uh. 00:11:15 Speaker 3: When I was younger, even though I may not know what I was doing at the time, I used to get my try to get my friend saved. I'm saying, yeah, like I'm in middle school in my home. But his name, his name was kin Tell Strozan, and he lived across the neighborhood from us, and I would used to always go over there and jump on his trampoline. And one day when over there was jumping on the trampoline and I we got to I got to talking to him about Christ and I had like, like, man, you want to be saved. He was like, yeah, how old. And I'm just a little old me just on the when you got there praying. I'm like, man, you gotta do it just action, you know, be your lord to say. And my best friend Mike Wells, yeah right now. You know, I ended up introducing him to you know what I'm saying, Trying to get him saved. God got him safe. 00:12:07 Speaker 4: He got saved. 00:12:10 Speaker 3: And then I think my senior year of Faed County at Faid County, I took a group a group of my friends and we all went to church, and I think I got all I got. 00:12:22 Speaker 4: I got a few of them, say, except for one. 00:12:24 Speaker 3: One of them told me, He's like, man, I ain't ready. I just want to make sure I'm perfect. You don't want to make sure I'm perfect before I get my life together. I'm like, you know, it's just your job to plant to see. I love that. 00:12:40 Speaker 1: I love that. 00:12:42 Speaker 2: I noticed on your Instagram you've been like posting about like certain scriptures and asking questions about faith and what brought that about? Because I hadn't really seen that on your social media until recently. 00:12:54 Speaker 4: Uh, were just brought about the post? 00:12:56 Speaker 2: Or yeah, the post because I noticed you were asking questions and you'd post like. 00:13:00 Speaker 3: Things oh yeah, yeah, oh yeah. 00:13:02 Speaker 4: Honestly, not too. 00:13:06 Speaker 3: I just basically rededicated my life back to Christ not too long ago, because even though I was raised spiritually and in the church, you know, as you get older with this lifestyle, you know, and being introduced into the industry or whatever you can kind of like, oh, yeah, you know, derail a little bit or whatever. And then one day it's it's pretty crazy. My older brother o'keith, he had posted a scripture Genesis three sixteen, and then the question that he asked was something around like why is it that to desire only for your husband? Like why? Well, why is that a punishment? And then that struck my that struck my interest. I'm like, what you mean, Like, I thought desiring for your husband is a good thing, you know what I'm saying. Yeah, And when I went and looked it up, it says that that was part of. 00:13:57 Speaker 4: Her that was part of Eve's curse. 00:14:00 Speaker 3: MM, And I'm like, well, how I thought you supposed to desire only want your husband? So how is it a curse? Right it? J It turns out that the word desire translates to control m so part of her curse. Even though it was for Eve's curse, it affected MM. You know, the men got affected too, because once once they you know, bit of the forbidden you know, fruit or whatever. He gave us punishments together and then he gave punishment separately. And one of uh Eve's punishment was pained during childbirth and the other one was you would desire to uh only for your husband, which translates to control, so that in return, it says, from now and to the end of time, men and women will try. 00:14:43 Speaker 4: To rest control in the relationship. 00:14:44 Speaker 3: They would they will continue to bigger, But women, you would never succeed. Your husband would rule over you. So when I read that a lot, like my mind kind of got blown and I'm like, I've been since since I've started dating women. You know what I'm saying. I'd be one no offense to the women out there, but y'all, y'all could be a little crazy. When I read that scripture, I'm like, my mom was just like wait a minute, Like, wow, you mean to tell me that's why we have all this. Oh, the woman's supposed to do this, the man is supposed to do this. Now I'm independent, It's like that's God knew what he was doing, and that's one that's one hell of a curse. 00:15:22 Speaker 4: Like that's you know what I'm saying. 00:15:23 Speaker 3: So after that, it just made me realize, you gotta get in the word for yourself. 00:15:30 Speaker 1: We have been talking about that. 00:15:32 Speaker 2: Like the last person we had, Miss Laurence, talking about you had to up for yourself. And at Church PD we did a whole series on God did not say that because we've been taught by different pastors growing up. This is what is and that's how you use the word. But a lot of people can perverse the word, and. 00:15:47 Speaker 3: If you don't know it yourself, you can easily fall fall big into like false doctrines and stuff like that. 00:15:53 Speaker 1: Yeah that's so real. 00:15:55 Speaker 3: So yeah, he got me into that, and ever since then, I slowly started like I would go to him and be like, hey, man, like what you think this is? And he was thinking, oh, yeah, that means this, you know, da da da da. So he's kind of like my my one of my advisors. When I you know, when I read and I study, I go to him cause he's been doing it going on like six six seven years now, wow, you know studying. 00:16:15 Speaker 4: So shout out to my big brother Keith for that. 00:16:18 Speaker 3: And ever since then, you know what I'm saying, I would post certain things to kind of like provoke people to go read for themselves. I'm not finna sit here and give you the answer because that's the problem. Now if you listen to me, then like you just like, oh okay, whatever. But if you read for yourself and get a better understanding, then honestly, that can lead to the world being a better place. 00:16:41 Speaker 4: Like no cliche. 00:16:42 Speaker 1: Yeah no, that's real. That's real. I love that. 00:16:45 Speaker 2: And a lot of times the way you read it and receive it is different based on what you're going through. I may read it and take a totally different way, And it's really how God. 00:16:53 Speaker 1: Speaks to you through the scripture. 00:16:54 Speaker 2: Right, So you started off doing videos? What was like, I'm gonna start making videos because you're doing it. I'm sure you've been clowning at home, you've been doing it in school, But what what made you say I'm gonna do this for the people? I never actually said that, really, you just like. 00:17:12 Speaker 3: Because again, my two older brothers, Matthew Hudson and Keith Hudson, they actually started doing music videos first, sitting in front of the camera doing songs and they just decided to hit me and feel up and was just like, hey, yo, y'all want to have like a brotherly competition type thing, like we make songs this and the third and I'm like, well, yeah, I feel let's do it. So when we put our sons together, we was going back and forth and we'll put it just like on Facebook, and started on Facebook and that kind of just grew. So people were like, when we went to school, Men and Field went to school, people were like, Yo, that video y'all did was kind of we was kind of getting on a little, you know, locally, and it just somebody was like, they suggested that we put them on YouTube, but we ain't really know anything too much about it. But I ended up putting them on YouTube and it was cool. I'm saying we for basketball games. We'll go to different basketball games and the students would know who we were and stuff. And then that's when I went off to college, which is which explains why I didn't drop a video in like two to three years. Got it Okay, So after I after I got kicked out of college, the second time I came home and that's when I did asking them questions and that's when it like. 00:18:20 Speaker 1: Yeah, see I love that. 00:18:21 Speaker 2: And then from then, when did Nick Cannon recognize you get and say, hey, I want you to be on my show or did you try out for that that coming back? 00:18:28 Speaker 3: He reached out first, and then I he wanted me the audition he had called me and he was like, yo, man, been watching your videos for a minute. 00:18:36 Speaker 4: Man, I'm a fan. 00:18:38 Speaker 3: I think I want you know, I want you to come on a while now an audition and it's funny. Let him tell it, uh he said when he when he when he called me and said, yeah, man, I want you to audition for a while. And now I was like, yeah, man, but I got this mixtape that I want you to hear. I really do music, like what's up with the music? Man? And he was. 00:18:58 Speaker 2: Like, I'm trying to put you on and you're talking. 00:19:02 Speaker 3: I'm like, man, yeah, that's cool, but I got a mixtape. You know what I'm saying because I really love doing music. That's that was my first love. Like comedy just happened to take off and start paying the bills. So I kind of put that side of me, you know, back here. But I'm back to doing music and stuff like that. Actually, me and Field just dropped two singles, uh, car Acts and Coots. But when he called, he was kind of he was kind of like yeah, but I ended up auditioning and getting it. 00:19:28 Speaker 4: Yeah. 00:19:28 Speaker 1: Man, that's crazy. 00:19:30 Speaker 2: Now, you had the competitions between the brothers and you didn't feel really take off, but the brothers want is starting to do they feel softy. 00:19:38 Speaker 3: Nah, I don't know, nah, not to be honest with you know, they just they were just super proud, you know what I'm saying. And then I rag on a lot about it. I'm like, man, yeah, y'all know who the real brothers is. That Okay, y'all know what's something? Man, I'll never tripping again. You know what's doing. But it's all good. It's definitely all love. I love that. 00:19:59 Speaker 2: Okay, So you're doing Wilding Out? You're still on Wilding Out? How's it been because that was how many years? 00:20:06 Speaker 3: I don't know. Once they started shooting twice a year, I kind of lost track of the other season because it was easier to every year they shoot once, so you've like, but it just got in such high demand that they start shooting twice a year. 00:20:19 Speaker 4: I'm losing I don't know. 00:20:21 Speaker 3: I know, I've probably been on there probably since possibly twenty thirteen. 00:20:28 Speaker 2: Is amazing, and it's still going. That is a long running show. Yeah, I thought I was watching Wilding Out one. 00:20:34 Speaker 1: I was. When did it? 00:20:35 Speaker 3: You probably was? 00:20:36 Speaker 4: Man? 00:20:36 Speaker 1: Yeah, I was. It's been a long time. 00:20:39 Speaker 4: Probably was. 00:20:40 Speaker 3: We got a new season that's I don't know what they're doing with it, but it's supposed to be dropping. 00:20:44 Speaker 1: So okay, yeah, that's dope. So you're on social media a lot. 00:20:50 Speaker 2: One thing I've noticed that even more ever since social media's coming about, people feel like they have the right to have an opinion on everything you do. 00:20:59 Speaker 1: How do you deal with it? 00:21:00 Speaker 2: Because I know sometimes we didn't ask for We just want to be creatives. We want to do what we love to do. We found a passion and that's what we love to do. But people always have something to say. 00:21:10 Speaker 1: Have you dealt with that? 00:21:10 Speaker 2: And then at any point where you kind of like reading the comments and second guess is like or want to say something back? 00:21:16 Speaker 3: Of course, man, all the time. I'm definitely definitely better at it now, you know what I'm saying Again, now that I've been understanding how Christ will react to certain things, I found myself within that journey of just like trying to do let Christ live through me, I would find myself botta and then I'll hold I'm like, oh this is I can't do that, you know, I might. I get to urge sometime to roast back a little bit. But as far as the seriousness of getting angry because out of the ignorance of people. 00:21:49 Speaker 4: Yeah, that that that was. 00:21:50 Speaker 3: A struggle for me. But at a very very early start in my career, before even before a while and out, I remember being on it kind of taught me something about the game. So I never was I never was too like hung up on trying to be super famous and get so super big to the point where it's like I'm just all over the place, simply because I at a very early start of my career, I saw what comes with it. And that was one day we was on One day I was on Twitter, and this was right around maybe a couple months after asking all them questions had dropped, and my Twitter was like the Twitter and I've never experienced anything like this. I was. I was watching back when Twitter I had like worldwide trending. 00:22:44 Speaker 4: Yeah. 00:22:45 Speaker 3: I was just like, man, let me see if I can make a trend go worldwide. And in the first I think one of the first ones I did was hashtag baby daddy mixtape titles wow, and it went it went worldwide trending like quick. And then I'm like, oh, it's notplke okay. And then I tried and I was like, let me do four more. I'm just gonna see and I like, did Baby Mama mixtape titles? I did a bunch more and all of them were trending worldwide at the same time. So to me, I was looking at there like wow, Like I got twittered in the palm of my hand, like not on some like non humble stuff, and this is Twitter. Yeah, And the fact that this many people are watching my page in order for things to be trending worldwide, that's kind of crazy. So with that kind of power, what ended up happening was one day I just randomly tweeted. I tweeted something and I said something different at the time, but it was it was saying, studs are just nice guys. That girl girls don't something about girls don't give like they don't give nice guys a chance. They're like, studs are just nice guys. That girl won't give a chance, you know what I'm saying something like that, And and someone else that was a part of that of the community, she was like, hey, why don't you believe or support the LGBT community, Like what is that about? And I had gave her a scripture of why I know what I'm saying, this is just what I believe in. You know what I'm saying. 00:24:17 Speaker 4: It ain't got no problem, but this is just what I believe in. 00:24:20 Speaker 3: And someone she wasn't offended at all, but someone else had took a different tweet and then another tweet and they kind of mesh them together to make it seem like I said this when that it was all out of context. 00:24:34 Speaker 4: But once that hit, I literally. 00:24:36 Speaker 3: Watched my account drop over two hundred thousand followers. Wow, in a matter of days. It was just it just kept going down. And as once I saw that, once I immediately saw it like this, I sat there and I was like, I was around like six hundred going on almost seven hundred thousand followers, and they was just climbing. But once I said that and someone tweeted it out, I watched it just drop two hundred some thousand, and I'm just sitting here like hmm, I said, good thing. I was raised spiritually because if my opinion does this much damage, and this is because of something that I stand on, even though they took this out of context, let me not get too attached to this industry. 00:25:22 Speaker 4: Because it's that easy to lose, you know, all. 00:25:25 Speaker 3: The fame and this that and the third and my management at the time, they were kind of upset. They were just like, man, you know, just bad for business, and and I'm just looking at them like, hey, man, y'all better get used to me. I ain't gotta get used to y'all. Like I it is what it is, you know what I'm saying now, As the older I got, I do understand like the politics of it all in the sense of you don't have to say everything that comes to your mind. There is a way you can play it, not looking for no balance when it comes to you know, my spiritual beliefs. But some things ain't always gotta be said to the point, where are you losing that many followers? Because one of the main reasons why God put me in this position is to reach you know, that many as many people as I can. So I ain't afraid to, you know, claim Christ at all. And if I feel like I'm going that's what I want to do, That's what I'm gonna do. 00:26:17 Speaker 1: Absolutely. 00:26:18 Speaker 3: But you can be smarter about things. 00:26:21 Speaker 1: Yeah, there was a lesson, a learning lesson for you. 00:26:24 Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, no. 00:26:25 Speaker 1: I'm sure I feel that. 00:26:27 Speaker 2: And a lot of times we do, like I've even been guilty that, or I'll say things I'm like because I'm comfortable in the moment and I'm just being authentic, Like, uh, maybe I could have said that different. Maybe I shouldn't have said that, you know. 00:26:40 Speaker 3: Yeah, but I feel like sometimes the reason why that's kind of tricky is simply because some people get it, some people don't. They So who am I supposed to? Which one am I supposed to cater to? Like? Am I supposed to cater to? Get a tutor? You know what I'm saying. I said what I had to say. 00:26:55 Speaker 4: This group of people got it. 00:26:56 Speaker 3: So but overall I don't really I just stick to my content. Now. I try not to have too many opinions about politics or let my personal stuff personal life get involved with social media. 00:27:11 Speaker 1: Yeah, so that's good. That's smart too. It really is. 00:27:16 Speaker 2: Becoming famous over Like you walk to bowling alley and people like is it you? And then now everywhere you go, I know, like you've probably gotten used to it now, But in the beginning, was that a big adjustment for you to for everybody? 00:27:28 Speaker 1: You're the guy from whatever? 00:27:30 Speaker 3: It still is? Really it still is because it's for me going from being the outgoing person, you know what I'm saying, the class clown, the one that's cool with everybody, but try to make everybody feel good, and things like going to now where I go a lot of places, people recognize me and they. 00:27:51 Speaker 4: Got odds of me and they you know, it's. 00:27:53 Speaker 3: Just sometimes he can get kind of like, you know what I'm saying, You want you want to you want to stay in the crib. 00:28:00 Speaker 4: You don't really wanna go out. 00:28:01 Speaker 3: And it's not because you, you know, you trying to be Hollywood. But people are crazy and I've had some crazy things happen to me to the point where, oh, this is this is not normal. I appreciate the love and support, but like it's certain times when you out or when you're doing certain things that's not okay. 00:28:19 Speaker 4: And it's more about us. 00:28:20 Speaker 3: It's more of a security thing than I don't want nobody talking. 00:28:24 Speaker 2: To me too, right, Yeah, absolutely, I know exactly what you mean. And for me, the same thing. It's still like getting used to people, Fatima, Fatima, getting used to that, and it's like sometimes like you may hear somebody like that, Fatima, and I just like you can hear them like whistling in her in the back of your ear, it's crazy. Or you turn the corner and the somebody. Literally I was in Homegoes one day and I turned the corner and lady it was like. 00:28:49 Speaker 1: And it was like a scared look. So I'm looking back, like. 00:28:52 Speaker 2: And she's like, I I just can't belete 'em that that it was you. 00:28:56 Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like it is me ya. 00:29:00 Speaker 3: It's tricky because like especially when you when you you try to understand how how to treat people, how Christ would It's like some people can be rude. Some people can be anybody rude. Thank god, you have not had like recognize you and walking up on you while you're trying to eat rude like that. Oh yeah, yeah, man, when you try to remain you know what I'm saying, Oh my god. And that's why that's what I'm saying. It's kind of tough because it's like I don't mean no harm. I don't want you to take this this moment that you met me for the first time and then go over here and do all this stuff. But it's like it's it's it's like a I'm not gonna say it's a balance. It's just it's just tricky because again, I've had things happen that I just can't believe. And it's like, man, do I should I go out? Like do I want to go out? Because people are crazy. One of the I had a fan walk up to me Manfield was at Clark Clark University, Clark, Atlanta, Yeah, and she we was doing a meet and greet and she walked up. We me and Field sitting down and she walked up to me. She said, oh my god, he may and I love you. And then she slaps me. 00:30:14 Speaker 4: What straight slap me? 00:30:16 Speaker 3: And I don't know why. 00:30:18 Speaker 4: I don't know why she just slapped me. 00:30:19 Speaker 3: And I was like, I looked at pheel feel like a real slap and feel looked he looked at me, and he looked at her. I'm like, who was that? I just and I surprisingly, I didn't do anything. I was just kind of staring him. I was so shocked. I'm like, you love me. I don't think I want to be loved that much. 00:30:41 Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying. But that was probably the craziest. 00:30:45 Speaker 3: But I seen I was watching one of your episodes and I think it was a clip, and you had talked about how people mess. 00:30:53 Speaker 4: With you in church. Yes, it was so funny because when. 00:30:57 Speaker 3: I had went to church one time, I tried to get up when he gets ready to the benediction. I listen to the benediction on the way out, But as I was walking up the aisle, one of someone was like, hey, oh my god, can I get your order? Can I get your autograph? I'm like, I'm like yeah. She started digging in her purse. She gave me a pen, she found some little flyer or something to write on. So as I was writing my autograph, the woman in front of her and the seat in front of her reached in her purse then reached back like this and dug the paper in my hand. As I'm trying to write someone else, she was just like, I'm next, I'm next one, And I'm just like, what are y'all doing? 00:31:39 Speaker 2: Bro? 00:31:39 Speaker 3: Like he needed to getting this bendediction, y'all it'd be crazy. But at the same time, I do look at it now like this may be a chance to minister to somebody, or it just may be a chance. You know, hey, man, I appreciate the love and support sometimes. Yeah, reality, Yeah, it gets a bit overwhelming. 00:32:00 Speaker 1: Yeah, that's real. 00:32:02 Speaker 2: At any point did you, like, have you ever had anxiety over it or anything like that? Because I know for me, just the life and like the like the overwhelmingness of life sometimes in success can call it has caused me anxiety? 00:32:15 Speaker 1: Have you ever battled with it? 00:32:17 Speaker 3: Now, forgive me if I found stupid on this, but I don't think I really understand exactly what anxiety is. 00:32:25 Speaker 4: You know, that's not it, Like what is that? 00:32:27 Speaker 2: That's not stupid, that's not stupid, because it was until like two thousand and it was like year twenty three that I witnessed it for the first time. Cause I was like when the same way, I'm like, like you just deal with it, like just life goes on, Like what are you talking about anxiety? I did not understand it until I had my first anxiety attack, and it literally like I was having a heart attack. My vision was literally going like like you if you, if I was looking at you, your face has been going like this, My heart is like crazy. 00:32:53 Speaker 3: What is an anxiety? 00:32:55 Speaker 2: It's based like your body reacting to like all the stress that you were putting it under. And it's like even from your thoughts to like your rigorous schedule, doubts that you have any type of things that are happening, and eventually everybody's like, yo, I can't take this anymore, you know. 00:33:13 Speaker 1: So it's a reaction to all these things. 00:33:15 Speaker 2: And I literally was looking up like symptoms of a heart attack because I'm like, am I having a heart attack? 00:33:20 Speaker 1: Because I was. 00:33:21 Speaker 2: I told my driver to stop somewhere I get I'm in best Buy and I literally had to lean on a ladder, the ladder that they get onto like restock. 00:33:29 Speaker 1: I had to like lean on it because I couldn't like stand. I was like, what is happening? So I get my bands to get I go back to the car. He's like, did you get what? 00:33:35 Speaker 3: You know? 00:33:36 Speaker 1: I was like no, I can't even like see. I was like, just take me to the hotel. My head was killing. 00:33:40 Speaker 2: My heart was just pounding. Lay down for hours, like literally my heart just did not stop pounding. And that's when I like realized, you're like literally, once I did the research and I called my therapist, you that's an anxiety attack. 00:33:52 Speaker 3: Oh no, I'm thing. I'm straight, Nah, I ain't never had no anxiety attack. I thought it was something around like you getting nervous before a show or something like or what if these jokes don't hit and yeah, if that's a part of it, then yeah sometimes, but but no. 00:34:10 Speaker 1: I feel like a little bit of nervousness is healthy. 00:34:16 Speaker 3: Had to lean on the best by ladder, that's crazy. I'm glad you're all right. 00:34:22 Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm good. 00:34:23 Speaker 3: I'm good. 00:34:24 Speaker 4: Are you used to it? 00:34:25 Speaker 3: Though? I know you this is are you know that's a good question. 00:34:28 Speaker 1: I'm getting used to it. 00:34:29 Speaker 2: You know, there's still times where I feel uncomfortable and I wanted if I'm just with my friends, I just want to be my friends because also you have to think about how it makes them feel. This is like the one moment they may get to spend with you, like your actual friends get to spend with you, and then somebody's constantly coming up interrupting that moment, you know, So then they're like, you know what I'm saying, like can we ever just have our friend to ourselves? And it's like, so you deal with that, But then at the same time, you want to honor the people that, you know what I'm saying, that love you and that support you. So it's a it's definitely a catch twenty two when it comes to that. But yeah, oh no, no, I haven't gotten used to it. 00:35:06 Speaker 3: No, I don't, and honestly, I don't think. I don't think I ever will, because it's every day it's a new kind of approach, or it's a it's a it's a new person. So, like I said, I've had people that hey, they they see me, hey man, keep doing anything more than I'm the ones. I kind of like you appreciate it. And then you have people that they come to you while you're trying to eat. I was at the airport sitting down trying to eat a pizza, and this woman and her husband they pull up, but she got the phone already, like, oh my god. She sit down with me in the middle of me trying to take a bike, and you hear her husband say, hey man, come on, man, man trying to eat. He ain't trying to deal with that right now. I don't care why he trying to. I'm gonna get that picture chill. I'm just like, like, I can't even like if you even say anything like hey, no, they take that some kind of way, and then they can go back to a bunch of people that they know, and those people are gonna take they word for they are whatever they whatever she says, how you were yeah, or you met him? How is he? Oh, he was ruled it and now they think you ruled and don't even know you. 00:36:11 Speaker 4: So it's it can get it can get deep. 00:36:14 Speaker 2: Yeah, since you rededicated your life to Christ, have you had any type of uncomfortableness or like cause? For me, I battle with like my career and my walk. Have you ever had any of those like battles internal bells? Like is God pleased with what I'm doing on my career side? 00:36:34 Speaker 3: Of course? Really of course, but that that, honestly, that's what makes that's what makes me understand even more than He's real. Because when I when I started, when I got when I got when I started reading the Bible for myself and taking it serious. At the time, I was smoking, and I never really used to smoke weed like that, but I ended up started smoking until it got to a point where I was smoking every day because I had liked the feeling that it was giving me. I just liked how it just calmed me down. I seen a difference in who I was, like the normal emanual I used to be like antsy, irritated, quick like. But I noticed that when I started smoking weed. It kind of just like mellowed me out. I'm chilling, Like the video games are much fun now. I'm a Madden player. I'm mad in god actually, And one day I was playing a friend but I was hot, and it was the very first time I really like noticed something. But as I was playing, I picked a play that had me do like a zone defense, and when he did something in my head, I guess because it was just I was just so chill. I almost left my zone and the football players and me and y'all are understand Yeah, I almost left my zone and something just told me, like only his own that was he supposed to be high. So I'm like, I ain't gonna bet my grown there were he supposed to be And I picked it off like he threw an interception. I was like, how long? 00:38:10 Speaker 2: So that? 00:38:10 Speaker 1: How you? 00:38:10 Speaker 3: How are you supposed to play the game? I'm like, alright, So Call of Duty was much more fun. Like you, it makes you feel like you really let me stop weed. It it's not that great, but I got addicted to it in a sense of I just wanted to smoke. So I wake up roll that to the point where I was buying weed and This was right around the time I started getting into my Bible as well. Friends saw a difference in me. They were just like, man, man like he like he he he'll like you like I'm I'm waking up in morning throwing outfits together, like man, let me just put this on. The drill was just it was just coming atch it, you know what I'm saying. So when I started reading my Bible, but I went, I would roll up and I would go outside. I would read and I would smoke, and the Holy Spirit would say he would nudge, cause I'm new to I'm really new to the faith now in the sense of I rededicated my life back, so now I'm seeing things for myself. So the Holy Spirit was like, hey, you ain't gonna you ain't gonna see what I got to say about that, and ignore them, cause you know, now I make it. I'm making music, and my music is allowing me to be creative. So I'm like, nah, man, it can't like I'm doing good, you know. So over time he just kept nudging at me, and I asked my older brother, Oh, Keith, I was like, hey, man, what you think about smoking weed? 00:39:30 Speaker 4: He's like, okay, well, technically the Bible does it. 00:39:32 Speaker 3: Say it's a sin, but it do God does says all things are permissible through Me, but not all things are wise. So he was like, I'm pretty sure if you look in the Bible, there are things that cause a lot of people they read, they try to look for it's strictly saying this is a sin, right, saying you can't do that. You God on, God On, He don't even play with sin. So it's things that you will read and you like, now you know, you know this is a sin. For one, you smoke it illegally anyway, right, you gotta buy by the laws of a land anyway, it's not legal, you know what I'm saying. So it was just certain things that I was reading. I'm like, man, I'm I'm looking at the symptoms of continue to smoke weed, and m long story short, none of it was good, right, So I'm like, this ain't of you. You would never make your child feel like this. So even though it doesn't s simply says smoking is, it's saying there's things about weed that you ain't going for. Right. So over time, I after I kept ignoring it. One day I was just like, alright, man, let me, let me see what the Bible got to say about it. That's when I called my brother. 00:40:38 Speaker 4: He told me. 00:40:39 Speaker 3: So I started reading certain things. I'm like, well, you know, I can't argue with the man upstairs. So I started throwing everything away, so not throwing cones, papers, all that stuff away. And but I had so much weed at the time, I didn't wanna dump it in the trash can or flush or anything like that. So I was like, you know what, my obra's almost here. I'm finna go out of town. Let me put this up when I get back in town. So I go out of town for a couple of days, and I found myself asking other believers what they think about weed, only because though God knew what I was doing, I was only asking them to hope that they can tell me something different so I can feel better about smoking weed. 00:41:21 Speaker 4: What I'm saying. 00:41:22 Speaker 3: And when I got home from out of town, I was playing the game because I had vow to quit. So I was playing the game Madden again, and I'm back to my old self. Not even realizing then I'm jumping up and I'm like, man, see if I was high, I'm really doing all this. And I was like, man, you know what, I'm about to smoke because it had been like a week and a half since I had smoked. I said, man, I'm finna roll up, and it is what it is. So I started rolling up and I was getting ready to walk outside, and God said no. I told God. I was like, look, technically, the Bible ain't say it's just saying that everywhere. 00:41:55 Speaker 4: Now. 00:41:56 Speaker 3: I know what you said, but I'm just not ready to stop. And when you ready for me to start, you'll let me know. But I just can't give it up right now. So I go out. Yeah, So I go outside and I hit the blunt probably like four times, and I was working on it. I was working on a song dedicated you know what I'm saying to him. So I'm like, I say, see, Lord, the wein got me. You know what I'm saying, I'll feel up, you know. And I I put the blunt down, and I kid you not. I may have took four hits and I got this little nauseous feeling right up here, and I said to myself, I was like, I was like, nah, you know what, Yeah, Lord, I hear you. I said, i'm'a give it up because this little feeling that I'm feeling right now. That's not of you. You would never make your child feel whatever it is. This is not a good feeling. So yeah, i'm'a quit. So I try to get up to grab my phone to continue writing, and I got I get super dizzy and I sit back down like this, and I'm like, hold on, this started pounding the right side of my forest started pounding, and I'm just like, I'm like, man, my bisions, you start getting really dizzy, and I'm like, man, oh, I'm about to throw it. And I've never thrown up for for s from smoking weed. Yeah, but I'm like, nah, this is about to be a bad one. Yeah. So when I try to get up, I just hear, nah, sit down real quick, cause you cause you think I'm playing with you. M you've already said you just gonna give it up. But I you over here asking other people what they think. Nah, sit down real quick. So I sit down. What do you think of that? This? 00:43:20 Speaker 1: I did that? 00:43:21 Speaker 4: Yeah? 00:43:21 Speaker 3: I sit down and then I'm like, man, maybe maybe I'm just tripping, maybe just in my head. I try to get up again, sit down again. I can't move he So now I'm like this I'm I'm twitching and I'm like bruh, I can't move, like I don't know what's going on. And I'm like, well, maybe this is God telling me, you know, to focus on him. Man, you know I get through it. So yeah, I couldn't. I couldn't take it. So I stood up, threw up everything. I ate. 00:43:47 Speaker 2: Wow. 00:43:47 Speaker 3: From that morning, I was just throwing up. It was just and as I'm throwing up, I'm looking at it and I just hear, you got your answer. Uh, you got your answer. You you got your answer. Now, now get in there and throw it away. And it was it was around three o'clock in the morning. He was like, I don't care how you threw you did all that throwing up. I don't care how tie you is. You're gonna get out there. You're gonna clean it up too. So I went in the house. I just started throwing something. I hear you, I hear you, and I'm waddling back outside to go clean it up. 00:44:16 Speaker 4: And it's just like, go to the bathroom. 00:44:18 Speaker 3: I had to go to the bathroom. So I was sitting on the toilet like forty five minutes. I was like, lord, everything, I was like, what were doing, man. So after I was done, it was funny because I was sitting on the toilet like this and I looked up. I was like, Bro, you got it, but I ain't. 00:44:36 Speaker 4: Didn't little where you got it? 00:44:37 Speaker 3: Man. But the funny thing is everything was going, the high was going. It was the clarity was there. And usually when you smoke like that like the high Lingers, Yeah, but it was gone. And I just looked up at him and I'm like, I bet I give it up and I ain't smoked six you know what I'm saying. And sometimes the devil trying to play tricks like because I ended up realizing something that happened, and this is how the devil and your mind can play tricks on you. What happened was when I was throwing that stuff away before I went out of town, I mixed weeds because there was a jar for Yeah, I mixed like there's a jar for the hyper and there's one for the sleepy. I was playing on throwing it all the way so you had someone I just did like this. After a couple of days, after like a week and some change, when I was playing a game, I was searching for the one to get me hyper, but I'm like, let me just pull something, so it must have whatever. If that's a thing, I don't know, but I still don't charge it to that because there's no coincidence that I'm walking out and I'm saying, when you ready for me to start smoking, you'll let me know. Yeah, and then that happens, you know what I'm saying. So I ain't gonna lie. Like sometimes I used to miss it a little bit more, but now that I've been, you know, strengthening my walk with them, I barely even think about it and miss it. 00:45:55 Speaker 4: But at first sometimes I'd. 00:45:57 Speaker 3: Be like, man, I miss it. Man, I just be one to chill. I ain't like I'm doing I'm at home chilling. But it's not. It's just not a wise thing to do when you're trying to lead people to Christ, you know what I'm saying. 00:46:08 Speaker 1: So, yeah, that's good. I love it. And I feel like so many Christians and in their walk can identify with it. And it may not be smoking weed. It may be other things that we struggle with. 00:46:17 Speaker 2: They'll be like, all right, look when you're ready for me to give this up, and he will make it very clear. 00:46:22 Speaker 1: And I hope it doesn't have to be as clear as yours because that was. 00:46:25 Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't. I don't suggest anybody because he will do it. I don't just anybody. Don't allow God to make an example out of you, because a lot of people will give God the credit when he does. 00:46:39 Speaker 4: Something good for him, like, oh, he gonna keep his word. 00:46:42 Speaker 3: Yeah, he gonna keep his word when he sayd this gonna happen if you keep doing this too. 00:46:45 Speaker 4: So you know what I'm saying. 00:46:47 Speaker 3: So that is that time in my life I got made an example out of But everything works together. 00:46:53 Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying. 00:46:54 Speaker 1: Absolutely. 00:46:56 Speaker 2: I love that. 00:46:57 Speaker 3: So that that my my mishap became my test became my testimony. 00:47:02 Speaker 1: So yeah, I love it. 00:47:03 Speaker 2: So have you inspired the other friends to stop smoking or has anybody else been like, man, may I see what there was and you since you stopped, I'm gonna stop too. 00:47:11 Speaker 3: Are they like that? 00:47:12 Speaker 1: That was your men that she got in? 00:47:13 Speaker 3: Tell me that? Uh? To be honest with you, yeah, nah, uh Again, it's just it's all about planting to seed. Like I said, first I started smoking, and and then I would after I stopped, I would be excited to tell other people like and oh, God is real that you should stop doing this, that and the third. But that's not my place. Yeah, Now, I'm not gonna sit here and say I can't. I'm not gonna sit here and tell people smoking his sin. Smoking is sin. It may be. I know it is for me, you know what I'm saying, And I know God don't change his mind. So if he feel that way about me smoking, we pretty sure it's the same, you know what I'm saying for for everybody. But it's not my job to be like, you start smoking sin because he allowed me to smoke, so I can get to a point where you ain't smoking. Ye know what I'm saying. And his time and it is perfect with everything because like I said, I've never I've never thrown up before that that did that day. Yeah I only got one lung, Now throw that up too. But yeah, it's been a it's been a it's been an eye opening journey as well. 00:48:23 Speaker 2: Amazing, amazing, all right, So we're at the part of our show where we are going to do positive outcomes. This is where our listeners write in and we read it and we're gonna give them advice the best we can. 00:48:39 Speaker 3: This should be fun. I don't know, I'll be real. I don't know about being positive, but I could be real. 00:48:45 Speaker 1: Right, it would be real positive. 00:48:47 Speaker 2: Try no, keep it real for real cause I mean a lot of times these people write in there really seeking advice, So we're gonna help you out. 00:48:54 Speaker 1: Her name is Trish, Hi Chrystal. My name is Trish. 00:48:57 Speaker 2: I'm an inspire aspiring actress from Mississippi. I got my first speaking role from Tyler Perry on Ruthless one day as a background actor. I went to school for law and I'm actually a licensed attorney, but in between waiting for my bar results, I worked background on the show Women of the Movement. From there, I went from background to a stand in to a PA. We have similarities in our path. I really just fell in love with being on set, so I started taking acting classes. The craft is something special and I'm obsessed. I love my journey, but sometimes it can weigh on me as I'm new and there aren't many people that can direct my life who know or get what I'm pursuing in acting. Any advice on how to grow your network and find like minded people in your field. My friends and family try to be supportive, but they don't understand how to be interested in law and want to be an actress. Well, Trish, funny enough, I always wanted to be an entertainer. Actress and a singer was something that I always wanted to do since I was a kid, and my family didn't understand it either. I come from a small town, so if you're from Mississippi, I'm sure you can relate to that. But sometimes light takes you down different paths. You may have wanted to be a lawyer at one point. I've wanted to be many things, you know, but it just depends on the season that you're in. If right now this is what you want to do, at least you have your license to be in a tourney. You have something to fall back on, because we both can attest that entertainment is not a full proof or a regular salary job, so at least you have something to fall back on. But if this is something you really want to go after, you should really go after it and try to see if you have people in your community that want to be actors too, or if there's any type of community theaters that you can join that you can be around people. 00:50:45 Speaker 1: Who are pursuing what you're pursuing what about you? 00:50:49 Speaker 3: You know, what do you think? Well, honestly, I feel like she kind of asked sat question like the passage, so I kind of got lost there. What is exactly is she asking that? You're asking for advice? 00:51:01 Speaker 1: Yeah, on how to grow her network and find like minded people in l field. 00:51:08 Speaker 3: I would honestly say social media is booming right now with being independent, you know what I'm saying. The best way I know how to grow a network and anything is just put yourself out there in the sense of, if you really wanna be an actress, you really wanna be a entertainer, do something, even if it's even if it's writing your own script maybe like a thirty three three minutes sketch and act it out, put it up on your YouTube, start a YouTube, you know what I'm saying, and be consistent with dropping content that that involves what you really wanna do. You shouldn't have to wait on nobody because you can go to auditions, you can go to all these things and just trying to get yourself out there. But like you said, that's it's a it's a it's a give or take because it is about networking. Well, one thing people can't argue with when it comes to networking is results. So if you're putting Trish first of all, shout out to Mississippi he Ganggang basically Misissippi right here. But yeah, if you if you put yourself out there and you can you continuously just drop content for people to see. Regardless, people just start coming to you. You know what I'm saying, and try just keep auditioning, try try out for stuff. 00:52:30 Speaker 2: Don't stop, Yeah for sure, Yeah, definitely don't stop. Alright, that's amazing. So we do this thing called what I'm going Through and what I'm growing through. 00:52:44 Speaker 1: Yeah, it's I came up with them. I think that that was her idea. That's looks. 00:52:54 Speaker 2: So she so for me in this season, I am going through. I'm going through a lot one just being comfortable in the space that I'm in. You know, I am forty one years old? What forty one? Yeah, just turned forty one in October? 00:53:15 Speaker 3: Yeah, he said, what how? Who was you thinking? Fine? You five years old? 00:53:28 Speaker 2: But in my big age, I do find myself just trying to be patient, you know what I'm saying, with finding love and what God has for me even career wise, where he's taking me and being open and being patient. So right now, that's what I'm going through and growing through. 00:53:47 Speaker 3: That's what's up. What I'm going through and growing through is just trying to figure out how to implement my purpose because I was reading the Word one day and it says, you know, you have to if you don't know what your purpose is, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal that to you. 00:54:14 Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying, because at the end. 00:54:15 Speaker 3: Of the day, regardless of what anybody wants to do, if it ain't God's will, it can happen, but it ain't gonna last, you know what I'm saying. So what I've been going through it's just realizing, hey, you got talent, but that don't mean nothing if it's not going towards your purpose. So stop focusing on your talent and focus on your purpose. And when I realize that, I just that's when I ask the Holy Spirit. I'm like, all right, look, I noticed, I done got all this fame and all this stuff come to me, But am I doing what you want me to do? And if I'm not, I need to put this on hold and get started immediately with what you want want me to do. And luckily, by the grace of God. I believe that it is. 00:55:05 Speaker 4: I believe He revealed to me that my gift. 00:55:10 Speaker 3: Was through entertainment, and my purpose is to spread the good news through my content, whether that's music, sketches, all of that. 00:55:19 Speaker 4: So that's what I'm going going through and that's what. 00:55:22 Speaker 3: I'm growing through. I love that. 00:55:25 Speaker 1: I love that. 00:55:28 Speaker 2: So to close it out, we do keep it blank, sweetie. And for this one after talking to you, I'm going to say, keep it hmmm, humor is sweet. Keep because I feel like laughter is good for the soul. Don't be so serious about everything because you made me laugh. 00:55:48 Speaker 1: So let's do. Keep it humor sweet. 00:55:53 Speaker 4: Keep it simple, sweetie, I love it. You know what I'm saying, that's. 00:55:57 Speaker 3: Keep it, keep it simple. And I think the reason why I'm saying that because again, like God is God is simple. Yeah, if you knew, if you knew, if you knew, if you understood what He's asking you to do, You're gonna be so mad at yourself when you realize on judgment day, you mean to tell me this all you wanted me to do. It was that simple. You read my word, It was that simple. Wow, go to hell. 00:56:32 Speaker 1: Keep Sweetie. 00:56:36 Speaker 3: I love it.
