Bussin' With The Boys

Welcome back to another episode of Inside The Bus. On this weeks episode the boys start off by talking about their trip to Nashville Superspeedway and their time with NASCAR. JP talks about how Will and Taylor were ripping the pace car around the track and who would do best in an actual race. Then the boys get into Matt's road trip that took over Bussin's socials last week. Unfortunately Matt isn't on this episode but Ryan and Mitch who made the trip with him are. Ryan and Mitch get into their favorite and least favorite part's of the trip from the 4 Corners to the Big Texan. Matt crushed the entire trip and it was a once in a lifetime opportunity to get paid to have a cross country road trip. Come and hang with the fellas on this Friday and as always, much love.

Speaker 1: Welcome back to another episode of Inside the Bus, Episode forty eight. I have two guys that come to the top of my mind. Pablo Sandoval, the Big Panda, and Tory Hunter.

00:00:11
Speaker 2: Dang great ones. And you made a Pablo Sandoval edic no pritty fielder, Edita.

00:00:16
Speaker 3: Markets that big, both powerful, both iconic.

00:00:19
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's basically the same baseball player except mash Yeah, this.

00:00:23
Speaker 3: Is a big baseball number because I got Lee Smith legend and then as a Rangers guy, Jacob de Gram Rangers legend, Mets legend, one of the best pictures ever.

00:00:34
Speaker 4: Dude, got it?

00:00:35
Speaker 2: Go ahead, go ahead.

00:00:36
Speaker 5: I got half of the Italian Stallions, New York Yankees about a couple of years ago. Anthony Rizzo future for the Dads guests, and uh currently, Paul Goldschmid.

00:00:46
Speaker 2: I've got two for you. I've got and Derek you can check me on this. But Bud dupree ward number forty eight for the Steelers, yep. And then since we are going to talk out a little bit about NASCAR today, Jimmy Johnson to see the goat Yes, hands down, hands down, not even close.

00:01:05
Speaker 1: Well, I like, if we're going strictly championship wise, Bill Russell. Then yes, like Jimmy Johns, he I mean he won I think five in a row. Yeah, five in a row, which is like never been done before. And I think he has the most at seven unless Richard Petty. I mean Richard Petty is the king because he had two hundred race winds and like the next highest is like seventy.

00:01:31
Speaker 2: Oh dang.

00:01:32
Speaker 1: But like Richard Petty was back in the day where like if you could afford to having a card in there, then you would get it in. And like his car was he had the most money.

00:01:40
Speaker 2: So he always had one competition, wasn't the greatest exactly similar to the most in il. It's one of our basketball players in the nineties, but.

00:01:50
Speaker 1: I swept.

00:01:51
Speaker 3: We can get it out.

00:01:52
Speaker 2: Later we get We're also going to talk about the road trip. That's how we got our special guest, Ryan Nolan on the show. We've got two of the three members with us. You don't want to start with the road trip or do we want to continue on NASCAR for just a second, and then we.

00:02:04
Speaker 1: Could continue on NASCAR for just a second. You guys were just there while we were on the road trip.

00:02:09
Speaker 2: We were at the racetrack, Derek and I SCHRM chef, Will, Taylor Clump. They got to was that the pace car. It was the pace car. It was a Mustang I think, And we got to drive the pace Car or Will and Taylor got to drive the pace Car. It was Will's first time or second time driving a manual car. And so when probably the highlight of it, we weren't in the car with him. I can't wait to watch the go pro footage. But Taylor gets out of the car and Taylor is adrenaline drunkie, adrenaline junkie, and he got out of the car being like, dude, that was I never want to do that again with Will. From the drone footage and everything else, Will looked like he was going smooth, especially for first time.

00:02:52
Speaker 1: In the car with Will. Yeah, was it just them too or did they have.

00:02:54
Speaker 2: A third just them too? Okay, Taylor was kind of ripping around, and I can only imagine how scaryt was to be in the car even though they're only going Taylor I think say he actually might have got up to one hundred or maybe one twenty. Yeah, but our biggest miss from it was not having Delaney there, because we saw Delaney's car this week, and you know Delaney would have been crashing out on the course. But it's gonna be cool because we have a lot of content coming up with NASCAR. We'll be going to the race and then there's also another project that I will just leave it at that where we will be diving into some more some more of the NASCAR world, which I know Mitch would be fired up about it.

00:03:33
Speaker 1: You can say up to something season for those McAfee fans. We're not trying to copy him in any way went by saying up to something season, but something in the works.

00:03:43
Speaker 2: McFee fans aren't as much gatekeepers as yes, the other fans, but yeah, Clemson fans.

00:03:50
Speaker 1: Being a NASCAR like working at NASCAR and like now doing stuff with them here, it's kind of like a full circle like moment, I guess you could say, because I mean I've talked about it here how much I did not have fun in NASCAR. But it's one of those things where like I'm grateful for it because got it on my resume and now here now like the fact that we're going back and working with them, it's like it's kind of cool.

00:04:13
Speaker 2: Has everybody have you been to a NASCAR race. No, I have not, Coop, have you.

00:04:17
Speaker 3: I've never been to one, Derek dude.

00:04:21
Speaker 2: Heck yeah, So this would be y'all's first one.

00:04:23
Speaker 3: Cut the end of I'll be excited to go to one.

00:04:25
Speaker 1: Are you good? Oh? Going to the one in Nashville. That's That's the only one I've honestly the only one I've been to. When I worked at NASCAR, obviously, the home base for it is in Charlotte, and we went to the hut we Memorial Day weekend is like the biggest, longest race of the year. It's like the Coca Cola six hundred, other than the daytime of five hundred obviously, but NASCAR is like, hey, like we can get you guys tickets and We're like, oh, hell yeah, Like how many can I get because I want to bring some of my buddies and like, yeah, we have off on that Monday. The races on a Sunday, like have a couple of bud lights with the boys.

00:04:54
Speaker 2: Right, do we have off on that Monday?

00:04:57
Speaker 1: I think at NASCAR?

00:04:59
Speaker 2: Oh got you also? Do you know?

00:05:04
Speaker 5: I think it's the Sunday No, because the next day is day one of the internship.

00:05:07
Speaker 2: Correct, Jane, Wait, so one like seven.

00:05:13
Speaker 5: I think that night it's a Sunday night, and then that Monday morning cocaine.

00:05:17
Speaker 1: The Charlotte Race is the weekend before, so that's a Memorial Day we So that's that was the race I was trying to go to. And I was like, can I get seven tickets? And They're like, yeah, for sure, no problem. Like didn't like that was this was two months before the race, like two weeks before the race. I asked like, Hey, so are these tickets like a thing, Like what's the deal. They're like, oh, yeah, we can't get you any It's like, whoa what are we doing here? This is NASCAR's home race and we can't do anything about it. I heard sold out, we can't make we can't get you. And this year I think it's called the Coke zero Sugar five hundred. That's what is telling me something like that. Some of the sponsors that they get for like the Nashville Ones, the Cracker Barrel four hundred, which I think is awesome.

00:05:57
Speaker 2: There's the one I'm trying to go to. It's that one.

00:05:59
Speaker 1: Yeah, but yeah, Nat, I know a lot of people, like a lot of non non ball knowers when it comes to race like NASCAR, like ill just left turns and stuff. But when I was there, like when I was there working there, like you learned so much about it. So like I watched literally every single race every Sunday, Like I try to make sure I get my quick grocery shopping done. They need like four items for myself. Yeah, try to get home so I can watch the rest of the race. It's fun.

00:06:27
Speaker 2: Last thing I'll say about our time out there and then we can talk about the road trip. I was bummed. I think Derek and I were both bummed because we didn't get to drive. They let Shrm and Clump drive their cars out on the racetrack and like do a lap, and they both came back saying, like, dude, it's actually kind of scary coming around the corner. You know they're going like forty five miles per hour. But unfortunately the camera didn't get to get out there, and you got in a Cord and two Beecet vehicles. By the way, those two would be it was. It was racist.

00:07:00
Speaker 1: Get the Accord in the Corolla or Camri. Yeah, came. Camri is a NASCAR car like your Toyota's our camera's dang.

00:07:07
Speaker 2: So they didn't want that record to fall. No, they didn't want.

00:07:10
Speaker 3: To truck trying to make that turn.

00:07:13
Speaker 2: Yeah, we would have seen coops road rage all the time.

00:07:17
Speaker 1: I feel I feel like we have to go to uh K one, dude.

00:07:21
Speaker 2: Also, yes, we do need to go to K one, And now I cannot. I also cannot get the image out of my head. I don't know why NASCAR has not done this, but if you did, just get like a twenty twelve Toyota camri a two thousand and eight Honda, a Cord, a Corolla, Afford, whatever, and like, did a normal people car race on a NASCAR.

00:07:40
Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel it looks so funny. I wouldn't like they're just going eighty because like you're scared to go around. That would be sick.

00:07:46
Speaker 2: Get professional drivers doing it, Yeah, that would be epic. You're welcome, NASCAR, You've already gotten your amazing idea.

00:07:53
Speaker 1: Speaking of driving fast, me, Ryan and Matt were driving fast across the country.

00:07:59
Speaker 2: Who's who to sit in the back seat of the car, because I do feel bad for her.

00:08:02
Speaker 1: He did the most of the time. I did take a shift for maybe two I.

00:08:07
Speaker 5: Sat in the back the entire all of Tuesday, I think, yep, and then Wednesday, Oh no, maybe not.

00:08:15
Speaker 4: I don't know.

00:08:15
Speaker 5: It was like i'd say like seventy five percent roughly I was in the back, and then.

00:08:19
Speaker 1: I would say even like closer eighty five percent, like I think I did. I did from.

00:08:25
Speaker 4: Picture I said, I said, Coop of Pick.

00:08:28
Speaker 5: We were talking about like the space in the car. I just took a point five and I was like, yeah, I feel like I'm in a compressor right now, dude.

00:08:35
Speaker 4: Seats.

00:08:36
Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know how you didn't sit like that the whole time.

00:08:38
Speaker 5: Crazy enough, it really wasn't that bad. I mean, I'm growing up, like I was always in the car a lot, like doing family vacations. We would always drive like twelve hours to Charlotte, So I'm just used to like sitting in the car chilling.

00:08:50
Speaker 4: So it wasn't that bad.

00:08:51
Speaker 1: But it was definitely tight back there.

00:08:54
Speaker 4: Yeah.

00:08:55
Speaker 1: The car itself, like it gets some it's been getting hating like the v log and on socials and stuff. Yeah, it's like not the most masculine car, but it's sick.

00:09:04
Speaker 2: I mean, you buy a ten thousand dollars car and it makes it across country with zero issues that I can't believe. Shout out Derek, he's the one that found it. But I can't believe that car even exists because I feel like anytime you buy a used car, it's like there's almost guaranteed something is wrong with especially we essentially click to pay. Yeah that car. Yeah, and it was like.

00:09:26
Speaker 1: No saw it, nothing like no test driving. They literally just gave Matt the keys, like Matt didn't even test drive it at all.

00:09:33
Speaker 2: We tapped to pay the car.

00:09:35
Speaker 1: Yeah, like, hey, here's how the convertible works. Man's like, oh that's so good.

00:09:38
Speaker 4: All right?

00:09:39
Speaker 2: The drop? What was your review on zips? That was one of the first stops.

00:09:46
Speaker 4: So I loved it.

00:09:49
Speaker 2: Matt's at six or five, which Matt like, sorry, I didn't mean that, just that just came out.

00:09:54
Speaker 5: I mean we're on the same way, like wavelength on that I am. I have a sweet tooth to the max. I know you do too, bro. I saw that Puzuoki come out. I was drooling, dude, that thing.

00:10:08
Speaker 4: Was so good.

00:10:08
Speaker 5: Yeah, piping hot cookie vanilla ice cream. I didn't even try. I didn't even wait for anything else to come out, though.

00:10:16
Speaker 2: Cause that came out first, right, yeah, crazy, yeah by them.

00:10:18
Speaker 4: Yeah it is. It's like a cookie cake.

00:10:22
Speaker 1: Especially cookie skillet.

00:10:23
Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, ice cream on top.

00:10:25
Speaker 5: You could do like hot fudge, you could do a bunch of different types, but it was a chocolate chip cookie skillet with vanilla ice cream on top.

00:10:31
Speaker 4: Insane.

00:10:32
Speaker 1: I we each got one of them because I was so we were driving. We landed in Phoenix. It was like they closed at eleven and so Ryan called the head. We're like, hey, we need to like they opened at eleven am. The next day, We're like, hey, we need to like kind of get up and go kind of thing, and can we like place an order ahead and they're like, yeah, for sure. And I told him, hey, like just let him know there's three of us, to like make enough food for the three of us. And I told him that right when he was talking about the pazuki. So we got three beza.

00:11:03
Speaker 5: So I heard him say three as I'm saying, I'm like, yeah, we'll get three.

00:11:08
Speaker 1: I ate all. I mean, I have no doubt. Yeah I did. I did kind of like scrape the ice cream off because like sometimes ice cream can hit me weird, like with my stomach. So like I didn't want all of that because I know we're gonna be in the car for the next five and the cook the cookie did not stand a single chance. It was unreal. It was really good And honestly, why did he come out first? Yeah, it was a weird, like Matt he said. He said he was over stimulated, like he just got a car whatever, Like I don't know kind of thing you want to think about that, but like he he hardly he ate like two wings half of them.

00:11:47
Speaker 2: You would have been pissed that bone yard was.

00:11:51
Speaker 1: And then he had like a single like and how they cut the fakasha up. He only had like he like picked up one and like ripped in half and that's all he had of vakasha.

00:12:00
Speaker 4: It was insane.

00:12:00
Speaker 1: It was really good. That that's not the one that I would normally get because when we went there was one with like avocado in it. Yeah that I think it was like the California one. It was really Zips does slap. It is very very good. I like Taylor. Like Taylor says it's the best restaurant of all time. I wouldn't agree with that, but it is very very good.

00:12:21
Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, I think it would have been also would have been a better vibe. Our flight on Monday night got delayed an hour and change. If we were able to get there Monday night, yeah, it would have been so much better. I mean the food obviously was still great, but like we would have walked into an atmosphere with a bunch of people in there. You know, it's dark, so the TVs are illuminated with whatever playoff games are going on. The food's great, right, and then that kicks.

00:12:48
Speaker 4: Off night one, and it's like, dude, this place.

00:12:50
Speaker 3: That would have been way better because the the pictures look and the videos look depressing and just like no one.

00:12:55
Speaker 4: Nobody, and we wouldn't have been on a time crunch.

00:12:57
Speaker 1: Like we literally just had to like shovel and then like our right, we gotta get going because of the four corners closing right, which Matt's reaction to the four corners pissed me off. That was my That was like the most frustrated I was the entire time, strictly other than when we missed our flight Friday night or Wednesday night.

00:13:17
Speaker 4: Oh yeah, Wednesday night, but like yeah, it was.

00:13:20
Speaker 1: I'm like, dude, this is sick. Like it's like there's not there's it's literally just like you kind of pull up and it's like a dirt road. It's just like the monument whatever, and I'm like, this is like I was expecting more, but like it kind of it was like cool to like to be able to say you were in four states at once.

00:13:38
Speaker 4: Funny enough, it's kind of like the perimeter of four square legitimately.

00:13:42
Speaker 5: Bro, it's like they all come to four states, come together, and then there's a circle plaque right in the dead middle of it.

00:13:50
Speaker 4: And I know, dude, if we we.

00:13:52
Speaker 1: Got we literally got a like that little ball down there. We literally bought one because uh Jay Train shout out, Uh just John Malone. John Malone was like, you guys should play four square. Like, oh, that's a.

00:14:03
Speaker 4: Sick idea idea.

00:14:04
Speaker 1: So we but we got all the way out there, not kidding. We were there for literally on the monument for two to three minutes before like one of the park rangers like, all right, we gotta.

00:14:12
Speaker 2: Go, dude, those governors need to all come together and play a four square match and whichever state wins gets the other three.

00:14:19
Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, Like it was cool. There was there is literally nothing around it. Yeah, it was which is.

00:14:26
Speaker 2: Even more respect.

00:14:28
Speaker 4: Yeah, that's even people will drive all the way out there just for them.

00:14:31
Speaker 3: You don't need any gimmicks where the states line up.

00:14:33
Speaker 4: Yeah.

00:14:33
Speaker 2: I was nervous about the Matt's stance on the four corners for a while, Like when you guys post a photo, I'm like, we might have to zoom in because I don't know if he if he qualifies.

00:14:43
Speaker 1: His back foot was just barely on the line of whatever state it was like he was. He was so like miserable and not happy when we got there, Like, you're making this not fun, crazy, right, Ryan and I were like, this is sick.

00:14:58
Speaker 2: Yeah.

00:14:58
Speaker 1: We were in the car for five and a half hour. It was like it was kind of cold, which kind of sucked, But why.

00:15:03
Speaker 2: Is it cold?

00:15:04
Speaker 4: What is it?

00:15:06
Speaker 2: Yeah? Diego pap yah Yeah.

00:15:09
Speaker 1: And then uh yeah, that like that was the hardest leg of the drive, was going up there, and like we had the top down after we left Phoenix for about an hour or two, and then it started to get like it was seventy two when we left Phoenix and then we drove two hours and it dropped all the way down to like fifty five and we're like, hey, we got to pull over, like I was putting my sweatshirt on. Ryan was like, hey, that's a good move. I literally got Matt' sweatshirt and put it on his lap as like a blanket for him, and then we put the top up and then like we drove another forty five minutes. It was there was snow on the ground. We're like, what is happening? It was insane, But yeah, that was in Arizona in flag.

00:15:47
Speaker 4: Sad flag stuff.

00:15:48
Speaker 2: Yeah, for the the Clump. One time we were flying over Arizona and Jared or somebody asked like or Jerry was like, dude, look like there's a bunch of snow out here, and Clump just goes do you think it's snows in Arizona? Were like, look out the window. The whole town covered in it.

00:16:08
Speaker 1: But like that that was my one of the coolest parts for me. And then Albuquerque was whatever. Yeah, I'm not a breaking bad fan. I haven't really watched the show, so it was like it kind of felt pointless. We all the three of us were on the stands like we should have gone to Permian and.

00:16:24
Speaker 2: That would have been so sick, Like, oh, yeah, did that get I guess that got nicked.

00:16:28
Speaker 3: It was completely I was looking forward to that one.

00:16:31
Speaker 1: That would have been perfect. We would have like legitimately, like we would have spent like an hour there, probably doing like a couple of skits, and like Matt would have done the speech and everything and Permian It's Friday night lights, Premian Panthers, and then like just literally just pull up to the school and people are like, what are these people doing here? It would have been weird. However, I think it would have been awesome. And oh yeah, we saw like one or two football stadiums just driving on the highway. There was one like an hour outside of it. I'm like that it's bigger than Susquehanna Stadium.

00:17:03
Speaker 2: We have to do a fall tour to a Texas high school football game.

00:17:06
Speaker 3: Half there's some random to I called Matt not to jump forward because we can go back. But I called Matt when he was alone, and uh, he was like, it's like, man, it's like I just passed his giant stadium. I'm like, yeah, you're in Royce City, Texas, and nothing out there but that football stadium.

00:17:21
Speaker 2: That's where they those coaches did that coin toss to see who made it into the playoffs.

00:17:25
Speaker 1: Like I I wanted to do that really bad, but like the Albuquerque thing I thought was was dumb. I don't know if it would have added more time if we because we go from all the way up here and they Knowdessa's down here in Texas. We'd have to like drive diagonally through New Mexico, so that would have kind of said.

00:17:41
Speaker 3: It is kind of funny, Like I'm with y'all on it, but I think we're the minority. Like everyone that like loves Breaking Bad has seen it. I haven't seen it, but like the fact that y'all three had to go do that, none of the like all out of all, none of y'all like really cared.

00:17:54
Speaker 1: It was kind of.

00:17:55
Speaker 5: Funny, literally odd that on Monday night, Tuesday night and we're like, all right, let's look up some scenes all like ideas that we could do for the house, because like none of us have anything.

00:18:07
Speaker 3: You would think like one a gall would be like all right, Like.

00:18:09
Speaker 1: There was nothing, Like we looked up trying to look up some scenes and there was like nothing we could.

00:18:14
Speaker 5: Only the only one was the was like throwing the pizza on the roof, and there were like huge signs saying.

00:18:20
Speaker 3: Don't throw pizza on our roof.

00:18:21
Speaker 1: Yeah, which, so.

00:18:22
Speaker 2: I know, my friend has an all time video where he's at the zoo. I wouldn't disclose where, but he brought a banana with him and dude, he's at the monkey exhibit. He opens the banana up, he holds it up or he didn't even know, but he holds it up to the monkey, gets the monkey's attention, Monkey looks at him, yeats it to him, Monkey catches it, immediately crushes it. Like that couldn't have worked out any better. It's exactly how you picture that going in your head, Like thank god he didn't get trouble with it.

00:18:51
Speaker 1: But the like the house was like it was literally just in a neighborhood, Like the house is the only house with like a fence around it, and there was signs everywhere like you're gonna take pictures, stay across the street, like so someone lives there. Yeah.

00:19:04
Speaker 3: See that would have meant nothing to me.

00:19:07
Speaker 1: Yeah. I was like, cool, that's that's really all all we did. I think Matt's in the bag, like just a house. I don't know what else we're supposed to do.

00:19:17
Speaker 4: And then we got on the road to Maillo. That was funny because we were trying to prep Matt the Texan, the Big Texas, listening to the Friday Night Lights.

00:19:24
Speaker 1: Yeatuff.

00:19:24
Speaker 5: Yeah, we pulled up the matt In thirteen ray Lewis intro and everybody up.

00:19:29
Speaker 2: We were doing Yeah, I got to watch that one.

00:19:33
Speaker 3: It didn't work though, No.

00:19:35
Speaker 1: Ray Lewis would have hated Matt In in mass defense he ate two and a half pounds of steak.

00:19:39
Speaker 2: Yeah, like Matt put on at he put on a great show the whole time. Shout out to Map for that.

00:19:45
Speaker 3: He showed me he was.

00:19:47
Speaker 1: I felt bad for him, Like not that Matt's the runt of the group, but everybody likes to give Matt a hard time all of the time. And Mack can get in his head a good bit, kind of like how I was in the beginning when I was here and like Clump was getting his head like, bro, you didn't do the skit, Like what are you doing? Like and He's like, brother, are they gonna take the car away from me? Like what the fuck? I'm like no, if they try to do anything, Like Ryan and I like, we have your back, Like nobody wanted to go to the Albuquerque house to begin with, like it's stupid, like so he was bugging the entire time getting Amarillo and then he's like, dude, I got it, Like what if I don't eat it all? Like Matt, you're not gonna eat it all? And I don't know. Like for those of you who watched the vlog, Matt and I were sitting there and he's like, dude, like the biggest thing I think I've ever the most have ever eaten was like fish, and I'm like what he's like, well, like like a big like a big fish. It was like he's like, actually one thing I can put down his muscles put down like forty muscles one time, Like I know, small food, but I had like four dishes it. I'm like, bro, what are you talking about? Like yeah, exactly. But his attitude, seriously, his attitude was great the entire time. And I'm I realize, I said after I exported and uploaded it, I did not give Patrick his name tag. Patrick is the guy that did the steak challenge with Matt Legend.

00:21:08
Speaker 2: Yeah, he was for like hett an extra half a pound of steak.

00:21:17
Speaker 1: Yeah, like I we like, Pat was saying cut up as much as you can into small bites and then do it. Matt's eating like fat chunks of it.

00:21:25
Speaker 2: Chewing his face off. Yeah, save the jaw.

00:21:28
Speaker 1: But like the the soda thing he did, he did, uh take him up on, But like Pat was the man. He's just a truck driver from Chicago. He's literally driving. He was driving from San Diego up to New York, which is insane stuff.

00:21:42
Speaker 2: At the big text.

00:21:43
Speaker 1: That's his second round, that's the second time doing it. He's like, yeah, how close did he get in.

00:21:49
Speaker 4: This one city? This one?

00:21:51
Speaker 1: I think he probably had like eight to ten ounces left.

00:21:53
Speaker 4: The first time.

00:21:54
Speaker 3: How do you get that close?

00:21:55
Speaker 2: Off to New York?

00:21:56
Speaker 4: He did the entire steak. He just didn't get the sides.

00:22:00
Speaker 1: Bro, It's just like two rolls.

00:22:01
Speaker 2: Besides, like a salad, Mad goes, this is the best shrimp I've ever had, Like fried Texas, an amillo Texas. Yeah, that one shrimp.

00:22:12
Speaker 4: It's just anything that didn't taste for sure.

00:22:16
Speaker 1: The vibes the entire time like they were they were rooting each other on. Like the live only had like three hundred people in it. But like and then when you FaceTime them, like that ship was so funny, like and it was crazy, like he's we got to we got to Dallas, He's like, bro, I honestly don't feel bad. And then the next day is when he started shipting a bunch. But like then when we got to Dallas, we pulled up to miss Amy's house at like eleven thirty twelve, and we felt bad, but Saran was like, she's a night out, so she would be up and like her house gorgeous.

00:22:47
Speaker 2: Really it is like inside looked awesome like.

00:22:51
Speaker 4: And then her back back yard was amazing.

00:22:52
Speaker 1: It just like kept going like it is the.

00:22:55
Speaker 2: Perfect like for the dad's vlog out there.

00:22:59
Speaker 1: It's a great, great vibe of the house. I got to sleep in a bed, extremely comfortable bed to sleep in the.

00:23:06
Speaker 5: Bed there were like two guest bedrooms that they slept on, and I slept on like a couch in her living room or like you know, yeah living room.

00:23:15
Speaker 2: So the couch great sign of a person having comfortable mattresses.

00:23:20
Speaker 1: Yeah, and I was I was bummed. I only got to sleep in it for like three or four hours, and like I was stressed because we had to make our flight the next morning, like I need to wake up, yeah, and so I let we literally stuffed for like three hours. And yeah, that was miss I don't know if you guys called it in the v log, miss Amy almost sold us.

00:23:40
Speaker 2: She was like Sara was like so nervous about that. It's like, dude, she's always doing this.

00:23:47
Speaker 1: I told sher. I'm like, she almost told us, and he's like, bro, I told her like five times. And so she gave us the painting for for the dads and she's like two of y'all are getting on a flight right, and we're like, oh no, no, no, no no, Like Matt's like, oh no, we're all driving back together and no.

00:24:03
Speaker 2: Idea and like Matt coming to the Matt answering the question and it's like, you're not going anywhere.

00:24:07
Speaker 1: The biggest thing to me is like, one, you hear that. Two why are we going to DFW? Like what makes you think that two people aren't just gonna leave? Like there's no reason to go there. And I don't know if you said it or I think you said it. He's like, yeah, Clump texted me like we got to get under the d gate because we were flying out of DK's like you gotta do like a room four D.

00:24:29
Speaker 5: I just pulled something out of my I'm like, literally, because how are we gonna get to Terminal D because MAT's going to see the first time terminal All right, we'll go here.

00:24:36
Speaker 4: Well, no, we can't and think on your feet.

00:24:40
Speaker 5: Yeah, And I was like, yeah, he wants a picture under whatever, Yeah for room forty. And I'm like a clump, said that's what he wants. He's like I heard it.

00:24:48
Speaker 1: I heard him say that. I'm like, oh my god, we're gonna I don't know how mad Ison catching up on this, Yeah, bro, I was.

00:24:55
Speaker 5: And we were getting nervous too because the way I was talking to Coop about it, the way DFW, it was like the GPS was taking us. It wanted us to make like a left and it was a service road. The service road was closed, so we would keep going straight obviously because we couldn't turn. It would add ten minutes. Now we're getting there. It's like five forty five. Boarding starts at six twenty five. The ETA is six oh seven I think, and we still had to get the videos and we haven't even been through security yet. Granted it's a Thursday morning at like six am, but like DFW Airport's huge. Yeah, it's where like, dude, we might be screwed. We're gonna be the ones that are getting laughed at in the vlog because we're okay, we got you. You're driving home by yourself. Well, we're stuck at the airport now.

00:25:38
Speaker 1: Like legitimately, when we finished filming, Matt like his reaction everything. We had fifteen minutes until we boarded and we hadn't even gone through security. Luckily, security was a breeze and it was everything was fine, and.

00:25:49
Speaker 2: There's a risky game there, dude, that airport can be yeah airport, Yeah, THEIRS security system.

00:25:54
Speaker 5: And then we get through security and literally look to the left and the gate is right there.

00:25:58
Speaker 2: It was, which also never never happened.

00:26:01
Speaker 1: Yeah, normally, like in Nashville, we're like the furthest gate.

00:26:05
Speaker 3: But we and you can have some long walks in that airport too, in that terminal.

00:26:08
Speaker 1: Yeah, so that I was legitimately, I was getting to the point I'm like, get me the fuck out of this car, and i started like sweating a little bit because I'm like, we're gonna have to do the rest of the drive for them. I don't want to do this. So thankfully we made the flight all in all.

00:26:23
Speaker 4: It was a It was a lot of fun, fantastic one of.

00:26:26
Speaker 1: Those things where like I'm glad I did it, but I don't need to do it again. I don't know, I don't need to go see the Four Corners again. I had no reason to go to Albuquerque, like we were talking about. It's like we were got to Albuquerque Tuesday night. We're like, bro, twenty four hours ago from right now, we were like just gonna go home and hang out and watch TV. Like now we're in Albuquerque, New Mexico, are like, what is going on?

00:26:48
Speaker 5: It was so funny how it came about, because literally it was while y'all were shooting the intro on last Monday morning, Derek started looking at cars because Mitch and I were like, is this thing like going on? And then literally happened in like the snap of your fingers.

00:27:03
Speaker 1: Within two or three hours, everything was booked. It was cool and like the sense like this is our job, like we're literally out here just driving around getting paid. Yeah. And another cool thing was the drone little sequence he did.

00:27:16
Speaker 5: Yeah, Bro, that was amazing, crazy too, because Mitch is like, all right, we gotta I think we had literally just passed a road that we could.

00:27:23
Speaker 4: Have done it on.

00:27:24
Speaker 1: And like I was watching the sunset like in the rear mirror, and it's getting close.

00:27:27
Speaker 5: So we're like, all right, look for another road. I go on maps and there's one like a quarter mile up. I'm like, all right, this looks like it might be one. All I see is training tracks.

00:27:35
Speaker 4: I'm like, oh no, And then it's just a dirt road that we were on. So could not have been better timing.

00:27:40
Speaker 1: Literally, like we were going like eighty and I saw the fit the where we saw the thing, and then Matt like slammed on the brakes. Bro, Matt was Matt's driving? I was. I told him, like, Bro, you need to figure it out. He's one of those drivers that's like.

00:27:55
Speaker 2: Always just the same way he does the volume.

00:27:58
Speaker 4: Yeah, oh my yes, did.

00:28:00
Speaker 2: He do that? Like when he's just poor Matt.

00:28:03
Speaker 5: This is the one in the car on the way to lunch and he has the OX and it's his car. He's going fluctuating with the volume just.

00:28:11
Speaker 2: Every like five seconds. He's just like going up to forty then going back down to thirty three, up.

00:28:16
Speaker 1: To but it's like he has he uses his phone to do the volume, which I think I've that's what he was doing. I've never seen anybody do that before. So he'll have like the volumes cranked up to like fifty on the car, but it's like two bumps up on his phone and it's like.

00:28:36
Speaker 2: What are we doing this? You gotta you gotta find peace, man.

00:28:39
Speaker 1: And like we listened to a crime podcast and like I love crime podcast, and he kept turning it down on his phone. I'm like, and I just kept turning it up on the thing. I'm like, man, what are you doing?

00:28:49
Speaker 2: But like he's like, I have ADD. I'm like, I don't know if this is ADD.

00:28:52
Speaker 1: Yeah. Like the more more and more we were in that car, the more and more I'm like maybe he was on his phone, yeah, which I didn't. I didn't want to tell them, but it like it was it was fun. It was cool.

00:29:06
Speaker 4: Yeah.

00:29:07
Speaker 5: Yeah, shout out to you Tube for bringing that drone because we were getting nervous because Matt was like, oh, well, just get the obviously he he doesn't know that we're leaving. Yeah, like, oh, let's get the drone footage tomorrow.

00:29:18
Speaker 4: I'm like, wow, we don't want.

00:29:20
Speaker 1: Yeah, we got it. Like also with like the scenery that we were in nothing. Yeah, and the wind turbines.

00:29:26
Speaker 2: It was.

00:29:27
Speaker 1: It was perfect. And I there was in the vlog they like pulled up and I'm like, bro, I think I got the coolest droone shot of all time. It was one of them when they were like just driving you got the sunset in the back. It was it was cool to be able to kick it up.

00:29:39
Speaker 4: Yeah, it was.

00:29:41
Speaker 2: That was Texas travel cars, airplanes. I don't think they get enough credit for how insane it actually is that like we can just go across the country and not lose that much time or drive somewhere. I'm like, it really wasn't that long ago that that technology didn't exist.

00:30:02
Speaker 1: Like we were talking. When we were in we were on like the the road name was like the Navajo Trail. Like there was a point where we stopped at a gas station. We were the only white people there. It's all the Native Native that was. When we ran into that, we were like, could you imagine I guess I don't know if it was the Organ Trail or just the people that were going to like the California gold Rush. It's like you you get out here and it's like is this what the rest of the world looks.

00:30:29
Speaker 2: Like I'll be like, damn, we got lied too hard.

00:30:31
Speaker 1: Yeah, there's no gold out here. Yeah there's no you're telling me if we keep going, we're gonna reach ocean. Like you're on crack if you think that, because there literally nothing out there. They didn't have no and I'm saying like there would be like cars just like pulling off and just getting onto a dirt road. I'm like, where are these people going? Like there's no houses or wanting.

00:30:52
Speaker 2: To the world that happens out there that you just people.

00:30:56
Speaker 1: I had said that. I'm like, you could easily, not that I ever would, or anything or anybody ever should.

00:31:01
Speaker 2: If you were to, who would you count.

00:31:03
Speaker 1: I don't know who it would be, but you could just drive out there for three miles and you're never gonna be found again.

00:31:11
Speaker 4: Yeah, it was scary.

00:31:13
Speaker 1: When we were out there, like it was cool, but also like this is kind of fucking weird, like where are we going?

00:31:18
Speaker 2: I would watch for those that don't know, I hate Kim Kardashian, but I would watch a reality TV show of her if she got dropped off in the middle of New Mexico and then she had to find her way back I have. That's something I would tune into.

00:31:31
Speaker 1: We know how she found her way back. I hate watch.

00:31:35
Speaker 4: It was.

00:31:37
Speaker 1: Other than just saying it was cool. It was cool like being here. We were on Route sixty six for a while, and the part I wanted to didn't know that the like famous part of Rude sixty six was in Arizona, and like we weren't on that part where it's like just a mile long road in desert on either side. But like being able to be on Route sixty six, there was like the classic signs and everything at the Big Textan and there is like a couple of like march things you could get.

00:32:02
Speaker 2: The Big Textan is incredible to by the way, just like their whole restaurant vibe.

00:32:07
Speaker 1: This is the most Texics Texas thing of all time.

00:32:10
Speaker 4: Guy sitting down just singing.

00:32:11
Speaker 5: You think you know you'll see people like getting paid to sing at a restaurant. He's just sitting in a chair at a normal table, just.

00:32:17
Speaker 1: Love of the game, just out. He would stop and then do you share it? People clap like at the table, Yeah, that's kind of cool. Like and then our waitress shout out Shelby. You could tell she was nervous, like she didn't want to be on camera at the beginning, but then the more she was like she kept coming in checking on us, and it's funny, like we posted something and then like an hour later Matt checked the post because he was checking it every five minutes, like and he's like, there's one person commented like the next time you need to stop talking and started eating more and he's like, who the fuck was that and he's like, oh wait, that's Shelby. Like she found our Instagram, Like she followed all of us on TikTok. You're not gonna see what you want to see on tap, like you gotta go to Instagram or like see rats.

00:32:58
Speaker 2: So she found follow Coop on TikTok. By the way, uh Coop com song.

00:33:03
Speaker 1: It was finn Like just the fact that she got in the comment section was was awesome. Like every every person we ran into is super cool.

00:33:09
Speaker 2: Yeah, very very bus and lower trip that will go down in the Hall of Fame.

00:33:13
Speaker 3: Yeah, I was getting the whole time. I was refreshing at our social like where's the where's video, where's the video?

00:33:20
Speaker 4: Next sprinter van? Next time? Do like the whole team wide.

00:33:22
Speaker 2: One team road trip. That would be funny.

00:33:26
Speaker 1: Could you imagine Will and Taylor on a twenty hour road trip.

00:33:29
Speaker 2: Just to get some tempers flying?

00:33:31
Speaker 4: Oh yeah, you.

00:33:32
Speaker 1: Will would be on his phone the whole yeah, yeah, but we could piss him off, Taylor. Taylor would be on his phone for a while and then he would like just start nagging people. Like would you just to piss other people off and make it funny? I think it would be fun like if we just got like a legit like sprinter van, but that that'd be a smelly bus.

00:33:51
Speaker 2: Smelly bus. Trying to think what else? How long? How long we been going on there? Hurdie Murdy Yeah yeah, felt way long.

00:34:04
Speaker 3: Cameras like what other stuff?

00:34:06
Speaker 5: Yeah, Like like Wednesday, when we got to our last like pit stop gas station stop before getting to miss Amy's, we go into the convenience store.

00:34:21
Speaker 1: This is like a like a mini BUCkies.

00:34:23
Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, and it's it was like ten o'clock, Texas.

00:34:27
Speaker 1: I think it was like eleven, it was. It was a bit later.

00:34:30
Speaker 5: Yeah, and uh, we go to use the bathroom and it's like, you know, they have the gas station and then there's the smaller like fast food restaurants attached, but you can go through the inside.

00:34:41
Speaker 4: They're like, oh, use the I forget.

00:34:42
Speaker 1: What type of steak and shakes bathroom.

00:34:44
Speaker 4: Yeah.

00:34:45
Speaker 5: So we're like, okay, we go to we go to use the steak and shake bathrooms. They're not They're they're locked. We're like, well they just told us that. They're like no, go back over there. We're like, all right, are we just gonna play like running bases and go back and forth.

00:34:58
Speaker 4: We go back.

00:34:59
Speaker 5: They're like, oh, he is a family bathroom. Okay, so we have to go one at a time. Whatever, he use a bathroom. We do our gas station orders and uh, we go to pay and it's the cashier.

00:35:13
Speaker 2: It was like a it was like shift change and like she just couldn't figure it out.

00:35:17
Speaker 1: We were in line for like ten minutes and like Ryan his sweet tooth was kicking anyone. Oh yeah, we all got chocolate chip cookie sandwiches, like the ice cream sandwiches, which did slap. But we're like we were in line for like five to ten minutes and like I'm getting tired, I'm getting cranky. Everybody knows I need my sleep, and I'm like, bro, I don't even want this anymore. Let's go and Ryan's like just Ryan and are both like, hey, just two more minutes, I.

00:35:40
Speaker 4: Know, and then mackets ready to go. I'm like I'm losing them. And then she started coming around.

00:35:46
Speaker 5: The next guy comes over, the other worker, and they finally get it going.

00:35:49
Speaker 4: I'm like, all right, let's get out of here.

00:35:51
Speaker 1: Then after that and like the next forty five minutes, I think we had like an hour and a half to get to Miss Amy's. We had like a little bit of a giggle Sash just talking about and him ship, but for the majority of the time it was just kind of just hanging out.

00:36:06
Speaker 3: God, I would have loved to be on that road trip birds. Just a random conversation.

00:36:11
Speaker 4: Was hilarious.

00:36:12
Speaker 2: Yeah, dude, Matt was also pulling I meant to bring this up to him today, like the gen gen X gen Z like never look at the phone while he's on FaceTime, so like Pate's looking at him. Matt's like talking like this, well, yeah, I'm not sure and I'm just thinking, bro. It was also clumb just got Jared with the taser downstaious.

00:36:34
Speaker 1: It was also like I don't know if you can see it in the footage, but it was cold when we called him. Matt like was visibly shaking and his voice was shaking, and we're standing in the rain at a gas station, like you know they have those awnings. I'm like, bro back up, let's just get under out of the rain.

00:36:50
Speaker 5: Performing saying the Bible belt. It was the biggest tongue twister and he couldn't get it out. I was crying so funny. He's like, what are you trying? He's like, did you did you take drugs?

00:37:02
Speaker 4: Sister?

00:37:03
Speaker 1: Yeah? Like because we we did. We called pay before, but Matt was on his phone and driving well on FaceTime with Pate. So when we saw the double rainbow, which was.

00:37:12
Speaker 4: Awesome really i've ever seen.

00:37:15
Speaker 2: Yeah.

00:37:16
Speaker 1: Yeah, and so we did this call and like somebody, I think Ryan was texting Paid. He's like, yeah, call me. So he was all down for it and like it was. It was super cool.

00:37:25
Speaker 4: But he's a legend.

00:37:26
Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't know if there was any conversations in the car that.

00:37:30
Speaker 2: That stand out.

00:37:31
Speaker 4: We're what, Yeah.

00:37:36
Speaker 2: Derek said, what was the report from the comstocks about the trip?

00:37:40
Speaker 3: Yeah, it's funny because uh, I was trying to coordinate so hard to get Bobby and camp out there. Yeah, just like I kind of signed him up for it without them knowing. When we were like putting together the second plane, I was like, it's like, hey, like I know y'all can work from home, so y'all just both go out there. And they're like, why not just one of us. I was like, well, first of all, Bobby, I just trust Camp more with the camera. But they like made a little trip out of it. They went Wednesday night, played golf on the way out there, and then like camped out waited for Matt. I woke up early to like kind of coordinate it because kind of like a little bit in the West Texas and East Texas, you can get lost and like some of the back roads out like going to the lake and like the signal drop. So I was like so worried about coordinating, like like hitting the right exit. It is like a little backwoods to get there. So I was like prepping them. I had Camp bring a swim super mat because I knew, yeah, he'd probably appreciate that. I was like, I was like, I can't bring him out of a swimsuit. I was prepping them, like the waters will be cold, don't slip on the stairs. They're not scrubbed yet because it's it's like not even swimming season ready to get I was like, I was like, if Matt like gets injured on because those those steps, I thought the water would be way colder.

00:38:51
Speaker 2: I mean the video those steps before.

00:38:53
Speaker 3: Yeah, they're slick, like they get like covered in algie whatever. It is, like they're slick, and like it's not as bad in the in the summer when there's more traffic. Yeah, but I was just thinking ahead. I was like, if Matt, MAT's gonna be cold, he's gonna run out there, He's gonna eat shit. But it was funny. Did you all ever see the selfie that Matt took with them?

00:39:10
Speaker 2: I don't know.

00:39:11
Speaker 1: I think maybe he may have posted it.

00:39:13
Speaker 3: I think he I think he sent it in the Bust and group chap. But yeah, but it's funny because they go out there, Matt does this thing and then and then they just head back. But I appreciate him going everything.

00:39:24
Speaker 1: Matt was saying, it seems like we need to have a trip.

00:39:27
Speaker 3: I've I've pitched this well. JP kind of pitched this, and I was like, you're not gonna believe me, But I actually pitched this to Addie my girlfriend, because I was like, is this dumb? Like would they be down anyways? I would love to do like a trip with all due respect to you know, Clump, Taylor and Will. They wouldn't be invited, but like everybody else, like into the summer kind of like right before football before football season. It's only seven and a half hour drive. Just like a couple of cars drive out there. Bobby and Camp I know, love to host.

00:39:58
Speaker 2: And we get chef on the grill like real.

00:40:00
Speaker 3: We got plenty of space out there, so like y'all are down, we can find we can find a good weekend we got there like maybe Thursday or Friday and then come back Sunday, Monday, whatever whatever works in the schedule.

00:40:14
Speaker 1: I think that would be awesome.

00:40:16
Speaker 2: I think it'd be elite and the Hall of Fame moment.

00:40:20
Speaker 1: Another one we do that, Yeah.

00:40:22
Speaker 3: Right before football season maybe every if it works out.

00:40:24
Speaker 2: Who does.

00:40:25
Speaker 3: We gotta wait for the interns to get in and get out there so they don't feel they don't feel like they have to go.

00:40:31
Speaker 1: They don't feel first or second week of are we doing a training camp tour? I don't know when that is.

00:40:37
Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not too sure, because in August.

00:40:44
Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll figure it out. If not, you and I can go. Yeah. Only other thing I have to bring up because when we're talking about the stake Challenge, I actually would love to see Ryan participate in the food challenge because in Miami, I think he put one of the most special displays of appetite that I've ever seen. What you got, Like, dude, he was he was scarfing everything down, Like We're all getting up from the table and Ryan's putting the last spoonfuls in his mouth, and I'm thinking, dude, how in the world is he not about to throw up? Are you?

00:41:21
Speaker 4: Like? Oh? I felt like hell that. I don't know if you noticed.

00:41:25

00:41:36
Speaker 5: Yeah, and back to the Prime. Month twelve, Back to the hotel because I thought I was gonna pop bro. I came back from the bathroom. Everybody when I went to the bathroom, everybody was like getting ready, like almost done with their entrees. I had to wait on a couple person, a couple of people lying. I get back. My entre is the only one that's still there. I have like a third of my steak left. This is an amazing steak. Can't let it go to ways. I still have like mac and cheese mashed potatoes. I'm like, shit, I gotta scark this down. They're starting dessert right so I'm like, okay, I started eating the steak.

00:42:07
Speaker 4: I get that down.

00:42:08
Speaker 5: There was ice cream, there was a cookie skillet, there was uh fry oreos. There were fried red velvet cupcakes, that peanut butter cake that Jack got, and so I just went around and they start getting up and I take a fried oreo.

00:42:23
Speaker 4: I crush it.

00:42:25
Speaker 5: I'm like, shit, I didn't ever read velvet cupcake yet, and that's what I wanted the most.

00:42:32
Speaker 2: Bro I had no idea how he was creating the space in his mouth or it was insane.

00:42:39
Speaker 5: I down it, take a swig of water. The waitress was like, oh, take every last bite. I said, ma'am, you have no idea, walked out, got right in the van. I was like, dude, I'm gonna explode.

00:42:51
Speaker 1: You always catch me eating, like taking crazy bites and stuff like I can't eat a lot though, Yeah I'll shove my face to it, but I'm not. I can't like that steak challenge. I probably would have thrown up right, like I can't eat like that.

00:43:06
Speaker 2: I'd like, I like Ryan versus that steak. But you you ate seventy two ounces of food that night?
