<v Speaker 1>So, how did you guys like Saturday Night's Main Event?
<v Speaker 1>What'd you think? Did it impress you? Was it everything
<v Speaker 1>you hoped it would be?

<v Speaker 1>For me? Right off the top, I just want to say,
<v Speaker 1>it was a wrestling show with no extras, and maybe
<v Speaker 1>it's time, Maybe it's time as fans, including myself as
<v Speaker 1>a genre of podcasters, should start reducing our expectations of
<v Speaker 1>Saturday Night's Main Event, because how many times have we
<v Speaker 1>said this could happen, that could happen, this and that,
<v Speaker 1>this potential turn, these returns, and we end up getting
<v Speaker 1>just a straight wrestling show. I don't know why I'm
<v Speaker 1>surprised at this point. Saturday Night Main Event has since
<v Speaker 1>its return, pretty much bend that. And since WWE moved
<v Speaker 1>their plees over to ESPN, that also probably incentivizes them
<v Speaker 1>to have those big moments, those big returns, those big
<v Speaker 1>heel or babyface turns happen on ESPN's platform now, So
<v Speaker 1>maybe from now on, I'm looking at Saturday Night Main
<v Speaker 1>Event and I'm saying, Hey, this is a wrestling show
<v Speaker 1>about wrestling with the very rare occasional big moment, and
<v Speaker 1>we have that coming though at the next Saturday Night
<v Speaker 1>Man Event on December thirteenth in Washington, DC. If you
<v Speaker 1>mortgaged your second house and you're able to attend the event, well,
<v Speaker 1>first of all, godspeed. I hope you enjoy your event
<v Speaker 1>and it's a memorable one because we're going to see
<v Speaker 1>John Cena take on somebody out of a sixteen man tournament.

<v Speaker 1>Saturday Night main event. We'll talk more about that in
<v Speaker 1>just a few but first, welcome to the show. Welcome
<v Speaker 1>to the ww podcast. This is Sunday, November two, twenty
<v Speaker 1>twenty five, and we are here to talk Saturday Night
<v Speaker 1>Man Event. But you're also going to hear from the listeners,

<v Speaker 1>or actually my email went down and some of the
<v Speaker 1>some of the letters quote unquote that came in were
<v Speaker 1>bounced back because my email went down for a little bit,
<v Speaker 1>but it came back and again we'll read those emails
<v Speaker 1>and respond in just a couple and I also want

<v Speaker 1>where ww started with, and that is Cody Rhoads and
<v Speaker 1>Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship. Now the title can
<v Speaker 1>change hands here on a disqualification or a count out.
<v Speaker 1>This match went a total of eighteen minutes and forty
<v Speaker 1>five seconds, about what you thought it would go nearly,
<v Speaker 1>you know, around that twenty minute range, and we had
<v Speaker 1>a really good match here. I thought it was a
<v Speaker 1>good match. I know a lot of people didn't enjoy
<v Speaker 1>some of the pacing of the match that it bored
<v Speaker 1>some people. And I will say the Salt Lake City
<v Speaker 1>crowd was not exactly hot. And I'm not comparing them
<v Speaker 1>to the UK and overseas crowds, just in terms of
<v Speaker 1>the typical United States crowd Salt Lake City was not
<v Speaker 1>a very vocal crowd. Now, they weren't asleep, but if
<v Speaker 1>there wasn't if there wasn't a big moment happening or
<v Speaker 1>a big star out there, they were pretty subdued. I
<v Speaker 1>mean that's what I thought anyway. But I'm sure everyone
<v Speaker 1>overseas is just so befuddled. If you're from Leon, France,
<v Speaker 1>or you're from Scotland, or you're from the Dominican Republic
<v Speaker 1>or wherever w is recently held a pl you're thinking
<v Speaker 1>to yourself, my god, these people don't do anything during
<v Speaker 1>the events. They don't do anything. Well, no, we do.
<v Speaker 1>The problem is, and I don't know. I don't want
<v Speaker 1>to go into a big cycle analyst breakdown as to
<v Speaker 1>why the WWE fans in the United States react differently
<v Speaker 1>than those in the UK or you know, anywhere else overseas.
<v Speaker 1>But I will just say, being a United States fan,
<v Speaker 1>when I attend these events, we seemingly only want to
<v Speaker 1>react to things that are big in the ring. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>we react to what is going on and if something
<v Speaker 1>is not particularly exciting, then we'll just be quiet. And
<v Speaker 1>if something exciting happens, we react instead of just the
<v Speaker 1>constant base level of noise. We don't do that. It's
<v Speaker 1>just the way that we are and anyway, so let's
<v Speaker 1>move on. This match here again, fun match. I enjoyed this,
<v Speaker 1>even though most of us knew that probably there was
<v Speaker 1>almost no chance of Drew winning. But Drew does lose here,
<v Speaker 1>but he loses in a way that you could argue
<v Speaker 1>is helish by Cody and also opens the door for
<v Speaker 1>Drew to get another opportunity at the championship because as
<v Speaker 1>we all saw, Drew attempted to use the belt, but
<v Speaker 1>Cody then d d ted Drew on the championship and
<v Speaker 1>get the one two three. Of course, he hits the
<v Speaker 1>crossroads one two three number one. I'm glad that there
<v Speaker 1>wasn't a multitude of kickouts of the crossroads at the end.
<v Speaker 1>That's a positive. But this was certainly evidence if you're
<v Speaker 1>looking for it for a slow burn to an eventual
<v Speaker 1>explosion of Cody turning heel. You could add this to
<v Speaker 1>your U to the resume, or to your evidence locker,
<v Speaker 1>because Cody roads using the championship, albeit Cole trying to
<v Speaker 1>cover for Cody saying that Drew brought the championship to
<v Speaker 1>begin with, which is true, but Cody still opted to
<v Speaker 1>use it. And you could hear Drew talking about how
<v Speaker 1>he was screwed and once again he he's robbed of
<v Speaker 1>what's owed to him, what's due to him, and in
<v Speaker 1>a lot of ways he's correct. The fact Drew hasn't
<v Speaker 1>actually had a real run with the championship is kind
<v Speaker 1>of insane. And certainly if they want to run this
<v Speaker 1>back at Survivor Series between Cody and Drew, they certainly could,
<v Speaker 1>and you know what kind of quality match you're gonna get.
<v Speaker 1>But more importantly, even than the quality of the match,
<v Speaker 1>is of course Drew just certainly being deserving. He deserves
<v Speaker 1>this run. Cody doesn't need it. He is just he's
<v Speaker 1>boring as a champion. And Drew calling out Cody about
<v Speaker 1>his orange suit on SmackDown was funny. It's true. Once again,
<v Speaker 1>no lies detected with Drew McIntyre every time he speaks.
<v Speaker 1>It's just true. And I think if they're going to
<v Speaker 1>anoint Drew, Survivor Series is a great place to do it,
<v Speaker 1>a great place to do it. And if you heard
<v Speaker 1>my show earlier in the week, I was talking about
<v Speaker 1>how you if you're a wrestling promoter, a booker, an agent,
<v Speaker 1>whatever they want to label you as today, you usually
<v Speaker 1>want a good amount of heel champions going into WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>because it allows something for the babyfaces to chase instead
<v Speaker 1>of just they're already at the mountain top, they just
<v Speaker 1>have to defend it. Not as fun of a story.
<v Speaker 1>It's not as traditional as having the babyface you get
<v Speaker 1>to the top of the mountain at the end of
<v Speaker 1>the day, which is WrestleMania, and overcome the evil you know,
<v Speaker 1>dastardly heel that's got that championship. Not that every story
<v Speaker 1>needs to end that way in WrestleMania, but more often
<v Speaker 1>than not, it's a good rule of thumb that has
<v Speaker 1>worked for forty one going on forty two years now.
<v Speaker 1>So expect to see more heel champions continue to retain
<v Speaker 1>or regain championships as we get closer to WrestleMania. Doesn't
<v Speaker 1>mean every single championship is going to be held by
<v Speaker 1>a heel. You'll have babyfaces that whole championship still got
<v Speaker 1>the women's tag titles held by Babyfaces, so you know,
<v Speaker 1>or is that, of course the universal Championship held by
<v Speaker 1>a babyface. We now have a Babyface World champion. But
<v Speaker 1>as a general rule, that's kind of how it goes. Now,
<v Speaker 1>as I said, breaking down the match a little more,
<v Speaker 1>the Claymore kick that he went for that Cody avoided
<v Speaker 1>into the announced table was a good spot here. And
<v Speaker 1>then Cody running up to the corner and Cody attempted
<v Speaker 1>to go to the middle rope, but he clutched his
<v Speaker 1>left knee. He hit a Cody Cutter and then went
<v Speaker 1>back to clutching his knee, which of course is ridiculous
<v Speaker 1>because if you have some kind of knee injury that
<v Speaker 1>you are you know, if you're grabbing your knee, you
<v Speaker 1>aren't going to be able to perform a Cody Cutter
<v Speaker 1>that really requires you to have nearly full strengthen your knee.
<v Speaker 1>But moving on, Mcatyre then stopped a crossroads and we
<v Speaker 1>had a ref bump. Yes we did, mandated by law
<v Speaker 1>of course in all fifty states. Is is a ref
<v Speaker 1>bump and a Cody title defense. So we got it
<v Speaker 1>and we got the victory. Now, as I said, a
<v Speaker 1>little bit of a heel way to win a match.
<v Speaker 1>I know a lot of people are looking to that,
<v Speaker 1>but day McIntyre eventually needs to freaking win a championship.
<v Speaker 1>How many times it feels like Cody and I mean sorry,
<v Speaker 1>Drew is on this hamster wheel of defeat. He can't,
<v Speaker 1>much like l A. Knight can't seem to capture the
<v Speaker 1>big one. You know that when he's in it, you're
<v Speaker 1>looking well, it doesn't get you excited because you don't
<v Speaker 1>have any faith that anything's gonna happen. How many championship
<v Speaker 1>matches has Drew lost in the last year and a
<v Speaker 1>half A lot? Okay, let's continue. We then have footage
<v Speaker 1>of our truth amantes Ford helping out at a Utah
<v Speaker 1>food bank, and Cole said, it's a tough time for
<v Speaker 1>a lot of people in the country right now. I
<v Speaker 1>want to speak on that, but I can't. I can't
<v Speaker 1>because this is a wrestling focus show. If you want
<v Speaker 1>to hear my thoughts on this particular topic, I'm going
<v Speaker 1>to be doing a full show on that, not here,
<v Speaker 1>on a different podcast called The War on Truth. Search
<v Speaker 1>for it, subscribe if you care about such things. If
<v Speaker 1>you don't, then of course skip it and stay right
<v Speaker 1>here for all wrestling okay. So then we got Tiffany
<v Speaker 1>Stratton and Jade Cargill for the women's championship, and Stratton
<v Speaker 1>had her left knee wrapped to sell Jade's attack, and
<v Speaker 1>Jade was pretty dominant to start, and Stratton ends up
<v Speaker 1>rallying quickly after an attempted pump handle slam, although she
<v Speaker 1>did hit it and got a two count. Jade regrouped,
<v Speaker 1>went back to the knee, and Jade put the champion
<v Speaker 1>down with three fallaway slams, covered her for an ear fall,
<v Speaker 1>and then Jade followed up with a sit down power
<v Speaker 1>bomb for another two count. Hit two power bombs on
<v Speaker 1>Stratton and then hit Jaded and got the three count.
<v Speaker 1>So five minutes and thirty seconds she destroys Tiffany Stratton.
<v Speaker 1>And I'll say there wasn't a ton of reaction for
<v Speaker 1>Jade here. I know that some people aren't happy with
<v Speaker 1>the outcome of this. The fan reaction still has not
<v Speaker 1>caught up to her turn yet. There's still some work
<v Speaker 1>to do, I think here on the back end of
<v Speaker 1>her turn, meaning get on the mic Moore, continue to
<v Speaker 1>do that, just let it go. If you suck, who cares?
<v Speaker 1>They'll boo you who cares the shackles are off, which
<v Speaker 1>again I've said this for weeks is a good thing
<v Speaker 1>for Jade, and I know that this is a dominant win,
<v Speaker 1>but in five minutes and thirty seconds, which is kind
<v Speaker 1>of crazy, I feel like this is actually a better
<v Speaker 1>thing for Jade than if they went twelve or thirteen
<v Speaker 1>or fourteen or fifteen minutes number one, because she would
<v Speaker 1>have been exposed, because that's what happens when Jade performs
<v Speaker 1>more than you know, seven eight minutes in a ring
<v Speaker 1>by herself. But also it does kind of fit her
<v Speaker 1>character of just kicking ass, which is what her character
<v Speaker 1>should be. I think as a whole, her and many
<v Speaker 1>of the women in the company should be less concerned
<v Speaker 1>about posting thirst traps on Instagram or x about breaking
<v Speaker 1>the Internet. I mean, even Trish Stratus as of late
<v Speaker 1>is putting stuff out there because I don't think she's
<v Speaker 1>saying to herself, hey, I haven't got much attention lately.
<v Speaker 1>Let's change that. And there's a whole other topic I
<v Speaker 1>could go into as well, but I'll pause there. It's
<v Speaker 1>you know, you make so much much progress pushing women's forward,
<v Speaker 1>a women's wrestling forward, and then all of these back
<v Speaker 1>end things happening that, of course all the fans watching
<v Speaker 1>you see, and I think regresses a lot of the
<v Speaker 1>progress you're trying to make as a wrestling entity. And
<v Speaker 1>I'll leave it there, but continuing on, Jade wins. She wins.
<v Speaker 1>She wins her first championship. Here the women's championship, not
<v Speaker 1>the World Championship, the w W Women's Championship. I think
<v Speaker 1>Tiffany was getting a little bit boring as champion. I
<v Speaker 1>know that I've said I said that to about Cody,
<v Speaker 1>but Cody's been boring a champion since he won in
<v Speaker 1>wrestling at forty. I mean, that's my personal feeling. Tiffany
<v Speaker 1>had a lot of organic moment behind her. Fans got
<v Speaker 1>behind her, even when she was actually designed to be heel.
<v Speaker 1>Fans said, nope, we're going to cheer you. They got
<v Speaker 1>behind her. Her and Charlotte had some very memorable matches
<v Speaker 1>and moments in the ring, as we all know, the
<v Speaker 1>Kaiser dms and the personal shots about her divorces and
<v Speaker 1>all that. And you know, Tiffany I think, as of late,
<v Speaker 1>has been a little obnoxious herself. Though I don't think
<v Speaker 1>fans are on board with Tiffany as much as they
<v Speaker 1>used to be. And what did Jade say on SmackDown It?
<v Speaker 1>She said, not Tiffy time. It was like, not Tubby time.
<v Speaker 1>What the hell did she say? There was something she said?
<v Speaker 1>I go, what does she say? It wasn't Tiffy time,
<v Speaker 1>it was something else. Somebody in the email, I'm sure
<v Speaker 1>will correct me and say, oh, it was this. I forget.
<v Speaker 1>There was something ridiculous she said. And I'm like, was
<v Speaker 1>that on purpose or was that her just messing up
<v Speaker 1>her words on live television? That probably is the latter.
<v Speaker 1>But anyway, this match was, I mean, it's hard to
<v Speaker 1>say it was a good match. It was a purposeful match.
<v Speaker 1>It was a strategically poignant match where Jade was to
<v Speaker 1>come in be brutal, vicious win. And I had said
<v Speaker 1>also in the preview show it was important for Jade
<v Speaker 1>to win or it would undercut her heel turn. And
<v Speaker 1>not only had her win, but they had her win
<v Speaker 1>in dominant fashion against Tiffany Stratton, who is no slouch.
<v Speaker 1>Tiffany Stratton is. She is, I mean quite the athlete herself.
<v Speaker 1>She's not a pushover. She's not a five foot Alexa
<v Speaker 1>Bliss and no disrespect to Alexa. I'm talking simply about stature,
<v Speaker 1>physical appearance, intimidation. She stands up to Jade fairly well,
<v Speaker 1>and yet she was dominated. So this is going to
<v Speaker 1>be an interesting dynamic with Jade moving forward. Is is
<v Speaker 1>that going to be her thing? Is her thing going
<v Speaker 1>to be? She just can't be stopped. She's a buzzsaw.
<v Speaker 1>She can't. I mean, look at her. She who's going
<v Speaker 1>to stop her? Is that going to be her thing?
<v Speaker 1>Is it really that simple? And I'm not being facetious.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not downplaying it or saying it's a bad idea.
<v Speaker 1>It may not be a bad idea. Don't over complicate it,
<v Speaker 1>don't over complicate anything with Jade's character at this point.
<v Speaker 1>We need basics down first before you start trying to
<v Speaker 1>layer upon layer of her, you know, of character development
<v Speaker 1>and things. We got to get the basics down first, Okay.
<v Speaker 1>We then had the third match of the night, match
<v Speaker 1>three of four, with Dominic, Penta and Russev in a
<v Speaker 1>triple threat for the Intercontinental Championship. The match was kind
<v Speaker 1>of disappointingly short, twelve minutes and thirty seconds. I was
<v Speaker 1>thought it was going to be well over twenty minutes,
<v Speaker 1>and I will say the match was was was good.
<v Speaker 1>Was it a just a show stealer? No, But some
<v Speaker 1>of the memorable moments, as you'd imagine, was Dom ringing
<v Speaker 1>the bell and Russev saying what the hell? That was
<v Speaker 1>funny having Dominic also tossed the chair to Russev and
<v Speaker 1>then tell the referee he was trying to hit him,
<v Speaker 1>and the referee's like, there's no dq, there's no rules
<v Speaker 1>in the match, right. Dom's like, oh crap, and then
<v Speaker 1>just hits him. That was funny. The Mexican Destroyer spot
<v Speaker 1>with Penta. You know, hitting Dominic with the Mexican Destroyer
<v Speaker 1>was pretty impressive. That's always a fun move, but dangerous move.
<v Speaker 1>Every time you see a Mexican destroyer, I get very nervous.
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, oh my god, you know, are they moving?
<v Speaker 1>Did the X sign go up? What is that? You know?
<v Speaker 1>But it's a beautifully done move when it's done safely.
<v Speaker 1>So Russev again he applies to the accolade fake ring
<v Speaker 1>bell by Dom and then we had pent to try
<v Speaker 1>to hit Dom with the ring bell hammer, but Dom
<v Speaker 1>moved and he hit Russev and then Dom ran Penta
<v Speaker 1>through the ropes and he hit a frog splash on
<v Speaker 1>Russev and got the three count. So fun, nothing insane,
<v Speaker 1>but comical moments. Stuff that just baby steps forward for Dom,
<v Speaker 1>which to me is all about Dom here. This is
<v Speaker 1>all Dom. I'm very confident we will see a potential
<v Speaker 1>rematch of sorts with these three, maybe even on Raw.
<v Speaker 1>But the only complaint I have about this is that
<v Speaker 1>was only twelve minutes, which is again common criminal in
<v Speaker 1>a lot of ways. Okay, we got the main event
<v Speaker 1>here then coming up with the World championship on the line,
<v Speaker 1>the vacant World championship on the line, see I'm punkin
<v Speaker 1>j us. Before that, we did get a announcement from
<v Speaker 1>John Sana himself about three minutes long regarding his final opponent,
<v Speaker 1>who that would be, how it would happen. So we'll
<v Speaker 1>talk about that as we kind of did the open,
<v Speaker 1>but I'm going to dive a little more into it.

<v Speaker 1>before ever. Now, could that be somebody from AW currently
<v Speaker 1>under contract? Maybe maybe I know that we're all hoping.
<v Speaker 1>We're all hoping that it's Adam Copeland Edge. I've been
<v Speaker 1>advocating that for a year since John Cena announced his retirement,
<v Speaker 1>and I think it's the perfect opponent. Now, that would
<v Speaker 1>mean that he'd have to wrestle four times to get
<v Speaker 1>to the finals to face John Cena. I understand that,
<v Speaker 1>because he has to be a part of it to
<v Speaker 1>go through the brackets to win. I get that. I
<v Speaker 1>mean you could also have Edge be a replacement for
<v Speaker 1>somebody who wins like Edge is not a Here's what
<v Speaker 1>I would do. Here's what I would do. And I
<v Speaker 1>don't care if this sounds cheap or it sounds like
<v Speaker 1>you're cheating the fans. I don't care. This is how
<v Speaker 1>I would do it. If you want Edge to truly
<v Speaker 1>be his final opponent, and it sounds like he probably

<v Speaker 1>to the finals and win, and you're thinking, okay, cool,

<v Speaker 1>has to be a replacement, and Adam Pierce comes out

<v Speaker 1>know me? That is how I would do it, so
<v Speaker 1>Edge doesn't have to wrestle four times and kind of
<v Speaker 1>take the steam away of him being a part of
<v Speaker 1>wrestling four times. I think it'd be more exciting if
<v Speaker 1>he didn't show up at all until he has to
<v Speaker 1>be the replacement. Now, yes, it would kind of cheapen
<v Speaker 1>the tournament, but again, what the hell's on the line anyway?
<v Speaker 1>No championships on the line. It's an exhibition match. No
<v Speaker 1>one really cares if John winsor loses. It's about a
<v Speaker 1>moment of saying goodbye to CNAF for however long the
<v Speaker 1>match is, twenty minutes or whatever. That's all it is.
<v Speaker 1>So you're not really devaluing anything by doing this with
<v Speaker 1>the fans. If you swap out of the last second,
<v Speaker 1>you do a bait and switch for the who actually wins.
<v Speaker 1>Because Edge is your guy, but he's not in the tournament.

<v Speaker 1>should allow it and let it slide. You're not gonna
<v Speaker 1>undermine the good will of fans here because everybody wants Edge, everyone,

<v Speaker 1>Kurt Angle. But that's impossible. Kurt is not wrestling. I'm

<v Speaker 1>let's get to that final match here, because this is interesting.
<v Speaker 1>Jay Uso Cmpunk for the Vacant World Championship. This match
<v Speaker 1>went twenty one minutes, just about what most of us
<v Speaker 1>figured it would go in a I thought it was
<v Speaker 1>a good match. I mean, I will say this, and
<v Speaker 1>I tweeted this out. Follow me on x at Wrestling

<v Speaker 1>of the match at the beginning was painful, and I'm
<v Speaker 1>a big proponent of slowing down matches. Everything doesn't need
<v Speaker 1>to be sixty seventy eighty ninety miles an hour, letting
<v Speaker 1>fans understand what's going on. Don't read the chapter so quickly,
<v Speaker 1>just take your time. But this was going half speed
<v Speaker 1>it was to start. The match was very slow. Now
<v Speaker 1>there was that spot as we all saw the swinging
<v Speaker 1>neck breaker that I think Jay thought was going to
<v Speaker 1>turn into some kind of crossroads or sister Abigail because
<v Speaker 1>he overrotated on the on the neck breaker, and then
<v Speaker 1>Cempunk got pissed it seemingly and you know, tapped him
<v Speaker 1>in the head with his foot. I did see that. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>it happens. It happens. I'm not gonna get on Jay
<v Speaker 1>about it. It looked weird. He screwed up, yes he did,
<v Speaker 1>but I'm not gonna hammer him on it. And you know,
<v Speaker 1>Jay did his thing, and this match, with no interference,
<v Speaker 1>no screwy finish, ended with cm Punk winning after I
<v Speaker 1>don't know seven gts's, which again is also probably the
<v Speaker 1>only critique I have about this match outside of the
<v Speaker 1>slow start, was the number of gts's in this match
<v Speaker 1>was stupid. And I think, now, can we finally say
<v Speaker 1>the Jay Usso experiment has expired? Can we move Jay
<v Speaker 1>back to kind of where he feels like he should be.
<v Speaker 1>And I know that a lot of people are so
<v Speaker 1>what do you mean you know you feel I'm sorry,
<v Speaker 1>I'm not even sorry. Jay Uso feels like an intercontinental champion.
<v Speaker 1>You can't tell me he doesn't feel and look better
<v Speaker 1>with that championship around his shoulder than he does the
<v Speaker 1>World championship or God forbid the undisputed championship. Jay just
<v Speaker 1>that figuratively, the championship is too heavy for him. He
<v Speaker 1>can't seem to carry it, at least carry it in
<v Speaker 1>a convincing way that makes him feel like a legitimate champion.

<v Speaker 1>an actually legitimately nice guy. Not to say he doesn't
<v Speaker 1>have a great connection with the fans. That he moves
<v Speaker 1>merch and he's got a hell of the word yeat
<v Speaker 1>and all that. But I think the Jay Uso experiment
<v Speaker 1>has concluded, so hopefully it has. I mean, there could
<v Speaker 1>be other plan. I would move on because now with
<v Speaker 1>so many potential returns, we have a massive pl next
<v Speaker 1>on the horizon in Survivor series, one of the Big Four.
<v Speaker 1>We have war games on the horizon. You have potential
<v Speaker 1>of Gunther and brock Lesner coming back, which are fairly likely.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, you've got some big names on the way.
<v Speaker 1>John Cena will not seemingly be a part of Survivor series,

<v Speaker 1>have to have a hell of an opponent. I think
<v Speaker 1>Gunther is the perfect opponent for cmpunk right now, because
<v Speaker 1>if you remember, c mpunk also was the guy that
<v Speaker 1>confronted Gunther before he was interrupted by Drew McIntyre several
<v Speaker 1>months ago last year. So good stuff, fun moment for Punk,
<v Speaker 1>all right. It was a It was a fun moment
<v Speaker 1>for Punk. It was a two hour show, which was
<v Speaker 1>I mean crazy quick. But I'm happy for cmpunk. It's
<v Speaker 1>been a long time coming. It took him two years
<v Speaker 1>since he returned to WWE to win that championship, so
<v Speaker 1>they didn't give it to him right away. They made
<v Speaker 1>him work for it again. I have no objections to that.
<v Speaker 1>So that was a fun match, right call, Because if
<v Speaker 1>they had gone with Jay us So winning the belt
<v Speaker 1>and him not turning heel, the fans would have done
<v Speaker 1>it for them. I mean, you heard the booze for Jay,
<v Speaker 1>they were somewhat audible. But also you have to remember, too,
<v Speaker 1>he's going against one of the most popular guys in
<v Speaker 1>the company and see him punk. So I don't know
<v Speaker 1>if I would really take that as a referendum on
<v Speaker 1>the fans are going to turn him because he's going
<v Speaker 1>against one of the most popular babyfaces of all time,
<v Speaker 1>so it's not surprising they're gonna you know, he's gonna
<v Speaker 1>get some booze. But if Jay lays off the World Championship,
<v Speaker 1>just goes about his business, tries to maybe diversify beyond yeat,
<v Speaker 1>that'd be a nice thing. I think he'll be just
<v Speaker 1>find his baby face still if he moves out of
<v Speaker 1>the World title picture and makes some some tweaks. So overall,

<v Speaker 1>said that part of the reason he hasn't been champion

<v Speaker 1>age and how WWE likes to view their next crop

<v Speaker 1>I don't think is in that loop because of his
<v Speaker 1>age partly anyway, But you're right, I mean, wrestlers do
<v Speaker 1>go into their fifties. However, despite the fact that they
<v Speaker 1>have a reduced schedule overall, which I think is a
<v Speaker 1>good thing. I'm sure the talent would also agree with that.
<v Speaker 1>Fewer live events, fewer non televised I don't even and
<v Speaker 1>again I don't even know if they do non televised
<v Speaker 1>events in the United States anymore. Yeah, and certainly wrestler
<v Speaker 1>can go in their fifties because of the reduced schedule.

<v Speaker 1>being injured because you're just older. That's biology. Science will
<v Speaker 1>always win, you know, So there is that risk of certainly,

<v Speaker 1>forty mark doesn't help his case. Now to your point,
<v Speaker 1>he should have a good run. The fans have stuck

<v Speaker 1>sense to you. Back in the day, he had a
<v Speaker 1>quick little flash in the pan moment of WRESTLEMANI where
<v Speaker 1>people are dancing to a song. The next night on Raw,
<v Speaker 1>no one did it. It was embarrassing, and my point
<v Speaker 1>being that if you have sustained fans support over a
<v Speaker 1>long period of time, that should speak volumes to the company,
<v Speaker 1>and they have responded in kind by making him a
<v Speaker 1>United States Champion for a while. He had a hell
<v Speaker 1>of a couple of matches with Logan Paul. He's had
<v Speaker 1>some really good promos and he's very good in the ring.
<v Speaker 1>He's got it all, but he can't seem to be
<v Speaker 1>timed up correctly. With WWE wanting to dethron one of
<v Speaker 1>their top champions, meaning the world title or the undisputed title,
<v Speaker 1>they haven't been able to line it up because they
<v Speaker 1>always they have these plans in motion for say seem
<v Speaker 1>Punk to win it now he's won it, or Gunther
<v Speaker 1>to regain it, and he did after Jay lost it,
<v Speaker 1>and he should have, which of course is a plus
<v Speaker 1>in my book. Or Cody on his milliant story of
<v Speaker 1>overcoming the odds and beating Roman and he finally did that.
<v Speaker 1>Blocks a lot of these other guys like an La Knight,
<v Speaker 1>who has a hell of a case to capture the belt,
<v Speaker 1>blocks those guys from the belts because they have other priorities.

<v Speaker 1>don't see him winning now. Anything can change at any moment.

<v Speaker 1>encourage me right now, especially with the world title, because

<v Speaker 1>top guys, both top babyfaces on the raw side. The
<v Speaker 1>only way that you could go from babyface to babyface

<v Speaker 1>was embarrassing and frustrating because I never felt that Jay
<v Speaker 1>really was convincing enough to me to believe that he

<v Speaker 1>should be focused on a particular market, because if you're not,
<v Speaker 1>then when you try to serve many masters, you serve

<v Speaker 1>been making Orton lose, and my only reasoning is that
<v Speaker 1>he'll turns in the works. He's got to turn heel
<v Speaker 1>and go on a proper run. Do you reckon this
<v Speaker 1>is where it's heading or is he just enhancement talent
<v Speaker 1>at this point for their star power. He deserves more,
<v Speaker 1>but he seems like the kind of guy who's giving back,
<v Speaker 1>which is cool to see. I guess he can take
<v Speaker 1>the losses instantly, turn heel and it does nothing to
<v Speaker 1>hurt him, but they need to give him some wins.
<v Speaker 1>If that's not the plan, well, I don't think Randy
<v Speaker 1>Orton can be hurt no matter what they do with him.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not worried about hurting Orton's legacy at all. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>he is so teflon and so already in the Hall
<v Speaker 1>of Fame. There's nothing that could do to Orton to
<v Speaker 1>hurt him, almost nothing, because he is just he's Randy
<v Speaker 1>at freaking Orton. I mean, he's the legend killer. You know,
<v Speaker 1>he's had some insane moments. He's had his struggles, as
<v Speaker 1>we all know. He's had his demons, he's had his tempers,
<v Speaker 1>he's had his alcohol problems, he's had his women problems
<v Speaker 1>we all know well documented. But he's a dude that
<v Speaker 1>looks the part. I get what you mean. He's a
<v Speaker 1>guy that you can admire. Here's the test. Here's the
<v Speaker 1>litmus test too. If you're gonna be embarrassed by somebody
<v Speaker 1>you watch, if you look at that person and you
<v Speaker 1>admire them, if you want to kind of if you
<v Speaker 1>want to try to be like them, if you could
<v Speaker 1>be like them in real life, you know, at least
<v Speaker 1>the way they look and carry themselves. Maybe not anything else,
<v Speaker 1>maybe not in their personal life or anything else, but
<v Speaker 1>if you just generally get that feeling of like, man,
<v Speaker 1>that'd be cool as hell to be that person just
<v Speaker 1>for a little bit. That's how you know you're not
<v Speaker 1>embarrassed and it feels legit. That's how you know you've
<v Speaker 1>got a real connection to that particular individual on television.
<v Speaker 1>Not that we should idolize ourselves for people on television
<v Speaker 1>or against or towards people on television. But I think
<v Speaker 1>you get my drift. So yeah, oh yeah, I feel
<v Speaker 1>your pain. I feel your pain. I'm surprised you're still
<v Speaker 1>watching because there's not a lot of those guys left.
<v Speaker 1>You get a lot of gimmicky stuff. Yeah. So, uh, Shane,
<v Speaker 1>I understand, I understand. But as far as him turning heel,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, it seems like that's where they're going. I
<v Speaker 1>could absolutely see Cody turning on Randy. How about Cody
<v Speaker 1>turning on Randy. I know we're all waiting for the
<v Speaker 1>millionth Randy Orton Hill turn because he's done that so
<v Speaker 1>many times in the past, But what about Cody turning
<v Speaker 1>on Randy? And Cody and Randy headline? I don't know,
<v Speaker 1>Royal Rumble or WrestleMania. It's very possible, very possible, and
<v Speaker 1>you know it also sucks. I haven't mentioned his name
<v Speaker 1>in a while. Kevin Owen's not being a part of this,
<v Speaker 1>and he's nowhere near ready. I'm not saying he's not
<v Speaker 1>gonna be back in top of WrestleMania. He might not
<v Speaker 1>be back in time for SummerSlam. I would say in
<v Speaker 1>about a year from now. Is when based on what
<v Speaker 1>I've heard is about, we can start to look towards
<v Speaker 1>a possible Kevin Owens return if all goes well and
<v Speaker 1>God willing, there's no setbacks. You know, his neck obviously
<v Speaker 1>is it doesn't get more serious than your neck and
<v Speaker 1>all the rest anytime it has to do with your
<v Speaker 1>spine and neck. I mean, it's as serious as it gets.
<v Speaker 1>So yeah, hopefully in about a year's time, next year's
<v Speaker 1>Survivor Series rumble, next year's WrestleMania forty three build, we
<v Speaker 1>can start to look towards a potential Kevin Owens return. Hopefully.
<v Speaker 1>But I miss the guy all right. Last note, Dom
<v Speaker 1>is low key becoming the face of WWE. Who would
<v Speaker 1>have thought, But I really see him actually surpassing his dad,
<v Speaker 1>which I never thought. I'd say. He really has that
<v Speaker 1>authentic connection with the crowd. In my opinion, Dom versus
<v Speaker 1>bron Breaker is a future WrestleMania Maine event. Doesn't hurt anyone.
<v Speaker 1>They're both legacy stars too. Yeah, exactly. Dom has something
<v Speaker 1>special going on right now. Yes, he's channeling the spirit
<v Speaker 1>of Eddie Guerrero. We know that he does it in
<v Speaker 1>a way that is more authentic than anyone has since
<v Speaker 1>Eddie's passing the stupid shimmys that Ray Mysterio does, or
<v Speaker 1>how many times we have to hear that Zelina Vega
<v Speaker 1>was inspired by Eddie Guerrero, or again, all of that's fine,

<v Speaker 2>not get an appearance of Joe Hendry as yet he
<v Speaker 2>has still taking some time off. We did get a
<v Speaker 2>special behind the scenes TNA documentary called TNA Bound for
<v Speaker 2>Glory Fade to Black, as this covered the things that
<v Speaker 2>took place doing the course of TNA's Bound for Glory
<v Speaker 2>that we did not see on the pay per view. Now,
<v Speaker 2>let's take you to what took place this past Saturday
<v Speaker 2>at Halloween Havoc. That's right, NXT's Halloween Havoc as you
<v Speaker 2>were still continuing the collaboration of NXT and TNA, and
<v Speaker 2>this took place live from Prescott Valley, Arizona. On this
<v Speaker 2>peely event, we did not get an appearance of Joe Hendry,
<v Speaker 2>but we did get a couple of NXT and TNA
<v Speaker 2>collaborations in a series of matches, and we had a
<v Speaker 2>brief backstage segment. The first NXT and TNA collaboration on
<v Speaker 2>this pl event was NXT's Javon Evans as he was
<v Speaker 2>tag team with TNA's ex Division champion mister Leon Slater
<v Speaker 2>as they took on mister Iguana and his trusted psychic
<v Speaker 2>Laska alongside La Parker from Lucha Leebre Triple A. Javon
<v Speaker 2>Evans and Leon Slater won this tag team match to
<v Speaker 2>open up the show in seventeen minutes and fifty six seconds.
<v Speaker 2>We also had another tag team match, this time of
<v Speaker 2>NXT versus TNA. Coming into this match, the Hardy Boys
<v Speaker 2>had three tag team championships, the House of Glory Tag
<v Speaker 2>Team Championships, the NXT Tag Team Championships, and of course
<v Speaker 2>the TNA World Tag Team Championships. They were defending the
<v Speaker 2>NXC Tag Team Championships in a Broken Rules match against
<v Speaker 2>Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin of Dark State. This match
<v Speaker 2>lasted nineteen minutes and eight seconds. And by the way,
<v Speaker 2>this was the debut of the Broken Hardy's in NXT
<v Speaker 2>of Brother Nero aka Jeff Hardy and of course Broken
<v Speaker 2>Matt Hardy aka Matt Hardy. And we have new NXC
<v Speaker 2>Tag Team champions in Dark State as Dion Lennox and
<v Speaker 2>Osiris Griffin got the victory to bring back the NXD
<v Speaker 2>Tag Team Championships back to NXT. And speaking of Dark Stage,
<v Speaker 2>it seems like Javon Evans and Leon Slater still have
<v Speaker 2>some unfinished business with Dark State because of what took
<v Speaker 2>place from tena's Bound for Glory when Dark State interfered
<v Speaker 2>in their Ex Division Championship match. Could there be a
<v Speaker 2>possibility that we see that Javon Evans and Leon Slater,
<v Speaker 2>even though they're on two different shows, can they be
<v Speaker 2>tagged Teaman to go up against Dark State for the
<v Speaker 2>NXT Tag Team Championships sooner rather than later. Let's see
<v Speaker 2>what happens as that feud continues between these two tag teams.
<v Speaker 2>And then we had the backstage segment of NXT's Jordan
<v Speaker 2>Grace and I guess you could say NXT's Colonie Jordan,
<v Speaker 2>who currently TNA Knockouts Championship. Now, let's get to this
<v Speaker 2>brief backstage segment of Jordan Grace and Colonie Jordan. Currently,
<v Speaker 2>right now, Colonie Jordan, even though she's an NXT star,
<v Speaker 2>she still holds the TNA Knockouts Championship and she having
<v Speaker 2>this back and forth issue with Jordan Grace. And in
<v Speaker 2>this backstage segment, we see Jordan Grace tell none other
<v Speaker 2>than Colonie Jordan that she is going to talk to
<v Speaker 2>the Director of Authority, mister Santina Morella, to request to
<v Speaker 2>be the next challenger for Kalanie's TNA Knockouts title. Klanie
<v Speaker 2>Jordan mocks Jordan Grace by saying that Grace is going
<v Speaker 2>back to her comfort zone and also she says that
<v Speaker 2>the title only means something new because Kolanie is holding
<v Speaker 2>it well, it seems like that must have infuriated Jordan
<v Speaker 2>Grace as she slaps Klinie Jordan across the face. Could
<v Speaker 2>there be a possibility that we finally get the matchup
<v Speaker 2>of Jordan Grace versus Klinie Jordan for the TEENA Knockouts Championship.
<v Speaker 2>And by the way, let's not forget about Indie Heartwell
<v Speaker 2>the Indie Darling Off Professional Wrestling. Will she also be
<v Speaker 2>included in this match to be a triple threat of
<v Speaker 2>Indie Heartwell, Jordan Grace and Klinie Jordan for the ten
<v Speaker 2>Knockouts Championship. There's a slight possibility that this will happen
<v Speaker 2>as you get closer to that big moment, but most
<v Speaker 2>of partly if you always remember this folks, if you
<v Speaker 2>continue to say his name, he might just randomly appear.
<v Speaker 2>And he appeared last night on NXT. We did get
<v Speaker 2>a random appearance of Joe Hendry. But prior to the
<v Speaker 2>episode of NXT, Joe Hendry puts out a post on
<v Speaker 2>his social saying it's been a while since someone said
<v Speaker 2>my name. And and then we get to the backstage
<v Speaker 2>segment where we got to see for the first time
<v Speaker 2>in a while, Joe Hendry making a random appearance, and
<v Speaker 2>in this backstage segment, we had Ethan Page, the nxty
<v Speaker 2>North American Champion, we had Chelsea Green, and we had
<v Speaker 2>one half of her secret hervers, Missus Albafaya. Ethan mentions
<v Speaker 2>that he and Chelsea will have a big tag team
<v Speaker 2>match this Sunday at Lucha Libre's Triple A Dia der Muertos.
<v Speaker 2>I know it's another p lead that I can't keep
<v Speaker 2>up on. Anyway, this is going to be a big
<v Speaker 2>tag team match because it is for the Triple A
<v Speaker 2>World Mixed Tag Team titles, as both Chelsea Green and
<v Speaker 2>Ethan Page will be going up against mister Iguana and Lidra.
<v Speaker 2>Ethan and Chelsea fantasize and imagine the possibilities of winning
<v Speaker 2>those tag titles this Sunday and having all the goal
<v Speaker 2>for Canada since both of them are Canadians. However, Ethan
<v Speaker 2>worries about the security situation for this Sunday in Mexico,
<v Speaker 2>but Chelsea affirms Ethan that there's nothing to worry about.
<v Speaker 2>Alba Faia says that she will handle the situation by saying,
<v Speaker 2>you won't see them, but they'll see you. Ethan goes
<v Speaker 2>on to say that he likes this dynamic of Chelsea
<v Speaker 2>Green and Alba Faia. However, Ethan Page points out a
<v Speaker 2>random job opening flyer that Chelsea Green is looking for
<v Speaker 2>another member of her secret Herbs team since Piper Niven
<v Speaker 2>is not available due to injury. Most specifically, this security
<v Speaker 2>job ro is called the Secret Slage It. Chelsea says
<v Speaker 2>that she's been trying to find this one specific person,
<v Speaker 2>the right person for this position, and she's not looking
<v Speaker 2>for any average Joe. Hint. Hint will get to that.
<v Speaker 2>She says she's been looking for the right person to
<v Speaker 2>fill that role in London and Paris and Tokyo. And
<v Speaker 2>then all of a sudden, we randomly see nxts Taya
<v Speaker 2>Hale as she walks by and says, I believe in
<v Speaker 2>Joe Hendry. And then Joe Hendry randomly appeared from a
<v Speaker 2>garbage can. That's right, folks, Joe Hendry randomly appeared from
<v Speaker 2>a garbage can. I guess you could say he's like
<v Speaker 2>the Oscar of the Grouch from Sesame Street. Joe gives
<v Speaker 2>a word of advice to both Chelsea Green and Ethan
<v Speaker 2>Page by saying, you two need to worry about beating
<v Speaker 2>mister Iguana and Lysandra this Sunday before crowning yourselves as champions,
<v Speaker 2>Ethan Page says to Joe that he's not in the
<v Speaker 2>business of taking advice from people that jump out of
<v Speaker 2>garbage cans. Chelsea tells Joe the next time that you
<v Speaker 2>will see her and Ethan will be as Mixed Tag
<v Speaker 2>Team Champions. They Leavey comes back and wheels Joe Hendry
<v Speaker 2>off in his trash can. Just two things from this
<v Speaker 2>brief segment. Here are the two things. The first thing
<v Speaker 2>is that we're gonna get a possible tease from this
<v Speaker 2>segment that Ethan Page and Chelsea Green will most likely
<v Speaker 2>be the new Triple A Mixed Tag Team Champions. The
<v Speaker 2>second takeaway from this brief segment is that there's a
<v Speaker 2>possibility that Joe Hendry and Taya Hale will be competing
<v Speaker 2>against Chelsea Green and Ethan Page once Lsea Green and
<v Speaker 2>Ethan become the Triple A Mixed Tag Team Champions. I
<v Speaker 2>like this dynamic of seeing Joe Hendry and Tayhale one
<v Speaker 2>of the most interesting personalities, especially on NXT, and there's
<v Speaker 2>a lot to see as we continue with this story.
<v Speaker 2>What then we fast forward to a very interesting main event.
<v Speaker 2>This was not just any ordinary main event. This was
<v Speaker 2>a main event for the TNA Knockouts title of Jordan
<v Speaker 2>Grace versus Kalanie Jordan. And of course, like I mentioned before,
<v Speaker 2>Kalani Jordan an NXD star, she is the current TNA
<v Speaker 2>Knockouts Champion. This match lasted twelve minutes and twenty nine seconds. However,
<v Speaker 2>we got a couple of brawls with Ricky Saints, who
<v Speaker 2>is the NXT champion, as he was fighting trick Williams
<v Speaker 2>at ringside and then they fought in the ring, causing
<v Speaker 2>a bit of distraction and chaos. Doing the course of
<v Speaker 2>this TNA Knockouts Championship match, we did see the referee
<v Speaker 2>get distracted as usual, but Kalani Jordan uses the TNA
<v Speaker 2>Knockouts title to no pun intended knockout Jordan Grace. The
<v Speaker 2>referee focuses his attention back in the ring. He sees
<v Speaker 2>that Kilanie's about to go for the cover and she
<v Speaker 2>does and one, two, three, and Kalani Jordan is still
<v Speaker 2>your TNA Knockouts Champion. But what does this mean going
<v Speaker 2>forward for Jordan Grace. Will she get another shot against
<v Speaker 2>Klanie Jordan or will we see hopefully in the Heartwell
<v Speaker 2>resurface back into this program and we get an indie
<v Speaker 2>Heartwell versus Kalanie Jordan for the next teenage episode or
<v Speaker 2>maybe on an episode of NXT. But back to Joe Hendry.
<v Speaker 2>If you always remember this, folks, if you just continue
<v Speaker 2>to say his name, he might just randomly appear, especially
<v Speaker 2>from a garbage camp. Always remember to believe, say his name.
<v Speaker 3>Always remember the words that Joe Hendry says anytime, any place,
