Mercedes Haile (Part 3) – It’s a Beautiful Life
Mercedes grew up in church and knew of God but didn’t have a real connection to God. Early in her life she fell into drugs and alcohol and the distance between her and God grew.
As Mercedes got herself clean and sober, she also found herself growing that relationship with God again. The world around her was weighing her down but her boyfriend, Tristan, and continued prayer eventually created the peace in her life that she had been seeking.
Today, Mercedes has a wonderful child, a healthy relationship with Tristan, and a loving relationship with Christ. She tries to help as many others become clean and sober, and to find their way to God as well. It is her mission to give back to those in need and to live every day as an embodiment of the Word of God. As Mercedes has healed from the guilt and shame of her past, she truly understands that it really is a beautiful life.
