<v Speaker 1>This is WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre and you're listening to
<v Speaker 1>the WWE podcast show.
<v Speaker 2>The one that everybody wants me sixteen.
<v Speaker 1>So guys, just work your ass is mind. You're going
<v Speaker 1>to acknowledge me.
<v Speaker 3>What is going on?
<v Speaker 2>Everybody, and welcome to this week's episode of the Main
<v Speaker 2>Event Review A week out until Wrestle Palooser. That means
<v Speaker 2>we'll be doing our Wrestle po Looser predictions as well
<v Speaker 2>after we review the matches on Main Event and before
<v Speaker 2>we get into all that, obviously, Triple H announced that
<v Speaker 2>twenty twenty seven, what is that, WrestleMania forty three will
<v Speaker 2>be in Saudi Arabia, So we'll be the first ever
<v Speaker 2>WrestleMania outside the USA and Canada. And yeah, massive cash grab. Obviously,
<v Speaker 2>the only reason why it's justified, or there is a
<v Speaker 2>reason to why they've gone there is only because of
<v Speaker 2>the money, because in no world should WrestleMania ever be
<v Speaker 2>held in Saudi Arabia in my opinion, or even yet
<v Speaker 2>alone countries outside of the US and Toronto. The only
<v Speaker 2>one that's fitting of that is maybe a UK one
<v Speaker 2>in Wembley, Wembley Stadium holding around eighty thousand people, but
<v Speaker 2>even that, it's always been in the United States and
<v Speaker 2>for it to be the first time in Saudi Arabia
<v Speaker 2>just doesn't feel right. It's definitely to me a cash grab,
<v Speaker 2>which is quite quite annoying. But again, that's what they've
<v Speaker 2>decided to do, and I guess we'll all still be
<v Speaker 2>watching it but not feeling sort of the same when
<v Speaker 2>it is over there, because no one's ever really seen
<v Speaker 2>a WrestleMania in Saudi Arabia. I know the crowds are
<v Speaker 2>quite decent, but just just doesn't feel right to be there,
<v Speaker 2>and that's sort of where I'm going to kind of
<v Speaker 2>leave that at. But yeah, WrestleMania will be in Saudi Arabia,
<v Speaker 2>and that's probably the latest wrestling news that has come out.
<v Speaker 2>But again, moving forward to the main event. The first match,
<v Speaker 2>we had the LWO Cruis del Toro and Walking Well
<v Speaker 2>taking on the war Raiders, and this match has happened
<v Speaker 2>I reckon six seven, eight times on one main event,
<v Speaker 2>and this time they've given war.
<v Speaker 3>Raiders the victory.
<v Speaker 2>Here these two tag teams not really doing much. Again,
<v Speaker 2>there's not much in happening in that in that aspect,
<v Speaker 2>so I think when it comes to the tag team
<v Speaker 2>division in Raw, it's again very much struggling and hopefully with.
<v Speaker 3>The sort of I don't know how I could.
<v Speaker 2>Say the new tag team coming in potentially of Jimmy
<v Speaker 2>and Jay, that could potentially spark a bit of a
<v Speaker 2>potential run for them to elevate that tag team division.
<v Speaker 2>Who knows, But again, it's not looking good there, especially
<v Speaker 2>when it comes to the lack of tag teams in
<v Speaker 2>the Raw division at the moment and these two just
<v Speaker 2>getting man of it matches that are pretty much significant.
<v Speaker 2>The LWO struggling to find their.
<v Speaker 3>Own, especially without Raymisterior at the Helm.
<v Speaker 2>And the war Raiders. They're good for a certain period,
<v Speaker 2>but to really be serious for a championship is quite questionable,
<v Speaker 2>and I think, yeah, that's where we see difficulties in
<v Speaker 2>the Tag team division. But I think war Raiders was
<v Speaker 2>always going to be the correct choice for this team
<v Speaker 2>to win, given that they probably have a likely chance
<v Speaker 2>of winning the titles, given that they've had this sort
<v Speaker 2>of new model and staff. But there were Heels before.
<v Speaker 2>I'd like to see them because Heels again and just
<v Speaker 2>be a powerhouse and sort of change their perspective because
<v Speaker 2>it just seems like it's rinse and repeat for the
<v Speaker 2>war Raiders at the moment, and it's not being too
<v Speaker 2>kind of convincing for my standards. But again, they get
<v Speaker 2>the victory, they get somewhat of momentum if you want
<v Speaker 2>to count that, and that concludes I guess the first
<v Speaker 2>match of the main event. As we move on to
<v Speaker 2>the next segment, which we have the USSO is going
<v Speaker 2>into the ring and Jimmy USO coming to raw.
<v Speaker 3>It's good.
<v Speaker 2>I'm a big fan of it. I feel like Jay
<v Speaker 2>needs to help there, especially given that he hasn't really
<v Speaker 2>shown to be a true champion. Obviously he's got the
<v Speaker 2>heat from the fans, but in terms of just holding
<v Speaker 2>promos and even his performances, they're just not up to
<v Speaker 2>the standard of a world championship or world champion unfortunately.
<v Speaker 2>And you can even see it when Jimmy USO came
<v Speaker 2>into the ring, he was handling most.
<v Speaker 3>Of the promo work.
<v Speaker 2>He is a lot better than Jay on the microphone,
<v Speaker 2>and I feel like Jay really struggles on the mic,
<v Speaker 2>and that's where Jimmy comes in and really helps him
<v Speaker 2>out there, and you can see them two work really
<v Speaker 2>together on the mic, and basically they were just calling
<v Speaker 2>out the Bronze essentially said that they were going.
<v Speaker 3>To challenge them at Wrestle Boluser.
<v Speaker 2>The match was confirmed, and as they were having that discussion,
<v Speaker 2>Ala Knight came in tried to attack the Bronze in
<v Speaker 2>the backstage, and it led to a sort of pullback,
<v Speaker 2>and you saw in the ring that La Knight was
<v Speaker 2>about to hit jay Uso and it didn't happen, but
<v Speaker 2>jay us wasn't too happy with that, and that sort
<v Speaker 2>of set up the main event match with Ala Knight
<v Speaker 2>and Bronson Reid, which we shall obviously get to later
<v Speaker 2>on down the track. We then have the next segment
<v Speaker 2>that main event puts on raw aj Lee cutting a
<v Speaker 2>promo on her mental health obviously and bringing that all
<v Speaker 2>up and mentioning that she's obviously been back for a while.
<v Speaker 2>It's great to see a j Lee back and it's
<v Speaker 2>great to see her cutting promas again.
<v Speaker 3>Just reminds me of the old days.
<v Speaker 2>We had Becky Lynch coming out frustrated, essentially asking for
<v Speaker 2>her title back, and a j Lee left the title
<v Speaker 2>on the floor and basically told her to come and
<v Speaker 2>get it. And then that's when Seth Rowlins came in
<v Speaker 2>to try to sort of dampen the mood a bit
<v Speaker 2>and try to fix the situation up. And then that's
<v Speaker 2>where a JA Lee said two options. Either Becky Lynch
<v Speaker 2>comes in gets another black eye, or they have a
<v Speaker 2>match at Wressell Poalzer for Yeah for guests Seampunk and
<v Speaker 2>herself as a mixed tag team taking on Becky Lynch
<v Speaker 2>and Seth Rolins, which the match ends up being official. Obviously,
<v Speaker 2>seam Punk attacking seth Rollins from the back caused that strife.
<v Speaker 3>Becky Lynch wasn't too happy, but.
<v Speaker 2>Obviously a j Lee and Seampunk were really happy with
<v Speaker 2>that outcome, and it was more than expected that that
<v Speaker 2>match was going to occur. We are going to have
<v Speaker 2>that mixed tag team match, which will be quite exciting.
<v Speaker 2>It probably won't end a few but it will probably
<v Speaker 2>hype up Becky Lynch and aj Lee going on a
<v Speaker 2>potential intercontinental run and seeing Punk and seth Rolins continuing
<v Speaker 2>to fight for for that World Heavyweight championship there, so
<v Speaker 2>we get that mixed title match. Should be exciting, should
<v Speaker 2>be really good. It will be great to see aj
<v Speaker 2>Lee back in the ring for the first time. I
<v Speaker 2>think that will be her first match in over ten years,
<v Speaker 2>which is quite spectacular and truly exciting.
<v Speaker 3>So let's see how that goes.
<v Speaker 2>Looking forward to that match, just given that that storyline
<v Speaker 2>has been going on for a long time, and I'm
<v Speaker 2>a big fan of Becky Lynch's sort of hell turned
<v Speaker 2>so she's doing a really good job. It's just crazy
<v Speaker 2>that she's probably doing more with the Intercontinental Women's title
<v Speaker 2>than any other belt at the moment, and that is
<v Speaker 2>technically meant to be a mid cut belt, so she's
<v Speaker 2>definitely elevating that championship for sure. I can't say much
<v Speaker 2>about the other women's wrestlers one until we have the
<v Speaker 2>match between es Guy and Stephanie Vecer at Wrestle Poaloza,
<v Speaker 2>which we'll get to you later, but that pretty much
<v Speaker 2>sums up that sort of promo. And then we have
<v Speaker 2>the second match of main event. We get Ray Phoenix
<v Speaker 2>taking on angel One Paf of the Los Garzas, who
<v Speaker 2>I think are still Triple A World champs. Correct me
<v Speaker 2>if I'm mistaken. They might have dropped the title, but
<v Speaker 2>it's been a while since we've seen them in WWE.
<v Speaker 2>They're doing great work in Triple R, but in WWE
<v Speaker 2>not too much. We have ray Phoinix getting the victory here,
<v Speaker 2>and it makes sense given that, And I'm just going
<v Speaker 2>to say it because I watched backdown that he had
<v Speaker 2>that open challenge with Sam Muse. But other than that,
<v Speaker 2>we've heard that Andres left, Andreida has left the business,
<v Speaker 2>which is also sad news, and I wanted to touch
<v Speaker 2>up on that they were a tag team. So I
<v Speaker 2>don't really know what's going to happen with ray Phoenix.
<v Speaker 2>I think he just needs to team up with his brother.
<v Speaker 2>I've said it all along. I think both of them
<v Speaker 2>are really stale at the moment. They've come back. They've
<v Speaker 2>looked very good in their first sort of month, but
<v Speaker 2>since then haven't really done much. And I think them
<v Speaker 2>two teaming up as a tag team, especially on Raw
<v Speaker 2>maybe where the tag team division is obviously quite live,
<v Speaker 2>it could be a good thing for both of them, because, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>Ray Phoenix's not the match and nor is Pentther at
<v Speaker 2>the moment, so I guess the match gave him momentum,
<v Speaker 2>but he lost it straight away and I don't think
<v Speaker 2>he's going to get another opportunity at the Bolt anytime soon,
<v Speaker 2>so I'm not sure what he'll do from then on.
<v Speaker 2>But again, We'll have to wait and see, because again,
<v Speaker 2>I think it's the same story of Pens. I know
<v Speaker 2>he's got some feud with the New Day. Maybe he
<v Speaker 2>calls Ray Phoenix for some help and they just become
<v Speaker 2>a tag team. I think it would make the most
<v Speaker 2>sense given the landscape of where they're at at the
<v Speaker 2>moment as well. We then pretty much cap off with
<v Speaker 2>the main event, which was Alle Night taking on Bronson
<v Speaker 2>Reid and Bronson Reid got the victory with the help
<v Speaker 2>of bron Breaker forming a distraction with a Defallly Driver,
<v Speaker 2>which was quite a surprise. They didn't finish off with
<v Speaker 2>the tsunami, but I kind of liked it. It was
<v Speaker 2>a good way to sort of finish the match. We
<v Speaker 2>then had bron Breaker then attacking l A Knight. That's
<v Speaker 2>when Jimmy used So came in. That's when ja Uso
<v Speaker 2>also came to help. They brought out the steel chairs
<v Speaker 2>and they pretty much cleared the ring and you saw
<v Speaker 2>Jimmy Usso and La Night talking basically thanking each other,
<v Speaker 2>and that's where Jay Uso ripped out a spear and
<v Speaker 2>speared Ala Knight. And how I think, well, what I
<v Speaker 2>think of it is that are they teasing a jay
<v Speaker 2>Uso potential he'll turn. I'm not too sure, but he's
<v Speaker 2>definitely having some problems at the moment knowing what to
<v Speaker 2>do and how to feel because a lot of the
<v Speaker 2>stuff that he's done, as Jimmy mentioned, is a lot
<v Speaker 2>like what Roman Reigns used to do as well, So
<v Speaker 2>I'm not sure if Jimmy can get him on the
<v Speaker 2>good side or if Jusho is going to hit that
<v Speaker 2>bad side. It would be compelling to see Jausho turn
<v Speaker 2>heel and sort of just change the way he's been going.
<v Speaker 2>I know he gets a lot of good sort of
<v Speaker 2>crowd pops with his entrance theme, but him being a
<v Speaker 2>heel could maybe elevate him to doing what he needs
<v Speaker 2>to do, and that's win a world championship. But again,
<v Speaker 2>that pretty much concludes the main event and Monday Night
<v Speaker 2>Raw a quick one there, just to get through before
<v Speaker 2>we go into the rest of the looser predictions theirs,
<v Speaker 2>there wasn't really too much going on at the moment.
<v Speaker 2>We are hyping up to the first ever ESPN PL
<v Speaker 2>which they're trying to make bigger now than it was before.
<v Speaker 2>Maybe if it's because if it's the debut I'm not
<v Speaker 2>sure if that's the case or whether they want to
<v Speaker 2>make this a yearly thing that's massive, but it'll be
<v Speaker 2>held at I think it's the game Bridge Field House
<v Speaker 2>in Indiana. I think that's where the Pacers play. I
<v Speaker 2>don't think they're doing it at the Yes, they're not
<v Speaker 2>doing it in the same place where they had the
<v Speaker 2>row Rum with. They're having it there, so a lot smaller,
<v Speaker 2>but still should be a pretty cracking event. We have,
<v Speaker 2>as mentioned, Er Sky taken on Stephanie Vacaire as the
<v Speaker 2>women's match for the World World Championship, and I think
<v Speaker 2>Stephanie Vacaire wins this one. I think there'll be some
<v Speaker 2>interferences with the Kabuki Warriors. You can see that ASCAR
<v Speaker 2>is getting into it, so I can see Stephanie evver
<v Speaker 2>Care winning it and then Eskuy focusing on Ascar, or
<v Speaker 2>if they do give it to Eoskuy, they might use
<v Speaker 2>the title as a way to sort of hype the boat.
<v Speaker 2>But I sort of thought that they would have a
<v Speaker 2>feud with each other, and I felt like it's time
<v Speaker 2>for Yeah, Eskuy and Asker to go at it against
<v Speaker 2>each other too. Japanese women's wrestlers that are incredible in
<v Speaker 2>the ring and have had a great Korean WWE them
<v Speaker 2>going at it would be extremely exciting and stephanieva Care
<v Speaker 2>can forge her own path of being a women's World champion,
<v Speaker 2>and I think she thoroughly deserves that, and I think
<v Speaker 2>that's what will happen. In my opinion, got the usos
<v Speaker 2>taking on the Vision. I do see Vision winning this.
<v Speaker 2>If they lost to Jay Uso and Roman Reigns, I
<v Speaker 2>don't see them losing again. They've been on a roll
<v Speaker 2>as of late winning singles matches, so I don't see
<v Speaker 2>them losing this. I think the Vision get it done.
<v Speaker 2>I think the US lose this match. It might mean
<v Speaker 2>to the to the detriment of Jus. Jim Us might
<v Speaker 2>take the pin, but j might you signing to sort
<v Speaker 2>of to cross his batch, or even La Night might
<v Speaker 2>do something to sort of interrupt it. But I just
<v Speaker 2>see the Vision taking this one out. We have CM
<v Speaker 2>Punk and aj Lee versus Sephrons and Becky Lynch. I
<v Speaker 2>think Seph Campunk and A j Lee wins is one
<v Speaker 2>AJ's first match. They're not going to start with the
<v Speaker 2>Lost year. I think A j Lee will pin Becky
<v Speaker 2>Lynch and that will move on, and they will move
<v Speaker 2>on to winning or to going for the women's into Continental.
<v Speaker 2>It makes the most sense. I think that that's how
<v Speaker 2>it's going to go down. The match will be very interesting.
<v Speaker 2>We'll have a j Le getting the hot tag and
<v Speaker 2>not being appeared for a long time, but when she does,
<v Speaker 2>the fans will go quite crazy. So yeah, we'll have
<v Speaker 2>to wait and see how that goes, but I definitely
<v Speaker 2>think Sampunk and a j Le get the victory. Here,
<v Speaker 2>we get Cody Rhodes taking on Drew mcintoye for the
<v Speaker 2>undisputed WWE Championship. I'm really happy that Drew McIntyre is
<v Speaker 2>getting what he deserves and that is a title shot,
<v Speaker 2>and he may not win this match, but I think
<v Speaker 2>Cody Rhodes will win and it'll be a pretty good match.
<v Speaker 2>And I think Drew McIntyre and Cody Roads is a
<v Speaker 2>program I've always wanted to see and I'm really excited
<v Speaker 2>for it. I think Cody Roads just gets the victory
<v Speaker 2>because they want to keep the belt on him for
<v Speaker 2>a little longer.
<v Speaker 3>It would just be weird to see Drew.
<v Speaker 2>McIntire take the title now, especially just for a regular
<v Speaker 2>match here and then finally for now, until they decide
<v Speaker 2>to add more matches tomorrow's on tomorrow's episode of Raw
<v Speaker 2>or even on SmackDown for last minute sort of pick up.
<v Speaker 3>We've got John Cena taking on Brocklestar, and this.
<v Speaker 2>Match I think Brockles wins it only because obviously John
<v Speaker 2>Sena is wrapping up with the company and Brockles has
<v Speaker 2>just come back.
<v Speaker 3>But it could be fifty to fifty.
<v Speaker 2>I think that one of all the matches so far
<v Speaker 2>is the hardest to predict because they may give John
<v Speaker 2>Cena the victory here, but I think if Brookles is
<v Speaker 2>going to be in WW for a while on his
<v Speaker 2>obviously terrible schedule, but there longer than John Cena, I
<v Speaker 2>don't see John Cena winning this match. So I think
<v Speaker 2>that's what's going to happen for Wressell Poloser. I will
<v Speaker 2>have a look at the pending markets and see how
<v Speaker 2>that one goes when they come up a lot closer.
<v Speaker 2>But I think that's that's how the sort of predictions
<v Speaker 2>will finish up. And yeah, it might beach just be
<v Speaker 2>five matches, but honestly some five really solid matches there,
<v Speaker 2>so definitely sething to look forward to. Maybe they add
<v Speaker 2>one or two more we'll have to wait and see,
<v Speaker 2>but again it's been your boy, Daniel. This is another
<v Speaker 2>main event review sprinkled up with some Wrestler Bolivia Polzer previews.
<v Speaker 2>We'll come up next week with the two matches on
<v Speaker 2>main event and then we'll jump straight into the post
<v Speaker 2>Wrestle Paluza review and see how the matches when and
<v Speaker 2>what it means for sort of. The next which I'm
<v Speaker 2>pretty sure is going to be down under an Australian
<v Speaker 2>Crown Jewel. They may have a Saturday night main event
<v Speaker 2>before No, that's going to be an event, but I'm
<v Speaker 2>pretty sure. But yeah, the next match will be at
<v Speaker 2>Crown Jewel, which is quite exciting. So yeah, I think
<v Speaker 2>that pretty much wraps up main event review and all
<v Speaker 2>the raw segments, So I'll catch you guys next week
<v Speaker 2>for recipalles and stuff.
<v Speaker 3>Cheers.
