Speaker 1: FT Live postgame show. It's presented by Fox One.

00:00:06
Speaker 2: That's where you can.

00:00:07
Speaker 1: Watch all World Baseball Classic games. Scott Brown and A. J. Perzinski Team USA did it in front of a sold out crowd. What did they do? They beat Mexico for the first time in twenty years. Yeah, in this tournament's crazy right at the long ass time.

00:00:21
Speaker 3: It is a long time. But listen, it was a good game. It was a well played game. US depth came through for him. They didn't one inning really kind of the USA. The two homers, one by Judge, one by Room in Anthony. Great defensive play, by the way, you didn't if you've never seen Bobby Whip play defense and you watch this game. Wow, bullpen came through the Clevenger Jacks got the huge double play from Kirk and then obviously Whitlock at the end. But Schemes was Steams, he was Skeens was.

00:00:56
Speaker 2: Good.

00:00:56
Speaker 3: Book.

00:00:57
Speaker 1: You got a good one. Pirates fans. Seven strikeouts, four innings, one hit. And it means a little extra for him because he started his college career at air Force.

00:01:05
Speaker 3: And by the way, that was so cool that Skimes and Jack said. The whole US air Force baseball team they paid for them to sit like right behind the dugout.

00:01:13
Speaker 1: That was so awesome, so classy, so perfect. US defeats Mexico five to three. So here's the deal. The US still has to win one more game to clinch the quarterfinals. I mean they don't have to, but if they do, obviously they go four and oh, and they're in good shape heading into a quarterfinal where before that they're taking on Italy tomorrow.

00:01:39
Speaker 2: Maybe we'll be a tougher test nine o'clock.

00:01:41
Speaker 1: I don't even say that that Mexico lost by two runs, like this was a valiant efforts by the team by a team.

00:01:47
Speaker 2: That holds out.

00:01:48
Speaker 1: I have to check it because I don't remember the name. Manny Barreta started the game thirty seven years old, three appearances. He had like a five year three appearance in the majors five years ago, had like five r in the Mexican League, going up against Paul Skeens, and I know they'd only get to pitch like half the game, but they lost by two runs. Durant had two homers, They got to a little bit an awful lefty.

00:02:12
Speaker 3: They fought, yeah, they did, and they did a good job. They kind of mixed and match their their matchups. Benji Gil did a nice job mixing and matching. Bardo was fine. I mean if places loaded in the first and he got cal Raley, so that was huge. Just a bad bad swing from Cal too, like two change ups and then a cutter at his knee and he swung at it like three quarters like half swung at an emergency act at it. And then after that. I mean, really it was the one inning for US. The two homers in the one inning. That was the only offense the US had. I mean they had chances. Bobby Witt hit a leadoff double, didn't move past second. Yeah, this is a good, well played game. It was fun to watch. The crowd was into it. It was it was a good baseball game. I mean, US is just good. Man. It was not bad either. Mexico just didn't get that big hit right when they Kirk. They kind of had their guy up. Kirk got to three to two and hit the double play was at the seventh the eighth inning, I guess it was so, I mean there was they had some chances. They just didn't. Uh, they didn't get it done.

00:03:17
Speaker 1: That was the time to strike, which they did a little bit. In the eighth inning, Duran hits another one. Yeah, there's some punch in that offense. They're going up against pretty scary pitching staff. But tm USA bop two homers, one Yankee, one red SoC.

00:03:36
Speaker 3: All good win the game.

00:03:37
Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, see Anthony shot though, how freaking far that thing went on.

00:03:44
Speaker 3: He's going to be a study. And by the way, I mean Bryce Raan Roman, Anthony got pegged at the play and everyone's saying it was a bad sin by Dino Evil. It took an absolutely perfect relay. If that ball is a foot either way safe, So I know they showed him maybe slowing down a little bit, but there's two outs. Roman, like, you.

00:04:02
Speaker 2: Gotta go, bro, what about judges throw?

00:04:06
Speaker 3: Judge just throw? That was dumb by doing. I mean, I know they're trying to push the envelope, but Judge's playing shallow. He comes in and just it was a one hop right to him, I mean perfect right. Money Bregnant kind of deeped him, act like there was no throw. Boom tagged him out.

00:04:19
Speaker 2: I know what happened. They had last year's scouting report, maybe remember a perfect throats.

00:04:26
Speaker 3: This was a great This is a this is a great baseball game as well.

00:04:29
Speaker 1: Play game judge's elbow last year, no offense, but he didn't have it for a couple of months.

00:04:34
Speaker 3: We also threw that ball from shallow like shallow shallow right field.

00:04:37
Speaker 1: Yeah, but Yankee fans should be like, oh hey, he can throw again, he can throw.

00:04:42
Speaker 3: This is a great game. This is a great game.

00:04:45
Speaker 1: For fans of you know, their particular major league teams. You get to get a little look at how your guy looks heading into the season. Some good signs there. If you're a Red Sox fan and you're excited for Roman Anthony to try and carry the offense.

00:05:01
Speaker 3: There's a lot of There was a lot of good signs in this game for a lot of teams.

00:05:04
Speaker 2: Duran too actually rand.

00:05:05
Speaker 3: Two homers off a lefty. I think he hit three homers off of lefty the entire year last year. Alec Thomas has looked really nice. He's had a really nice tournament. Uh, kind of a guy that people have been waiting for for a while to to jump in and become like a little bit of a star. Who else look at Vanessa's had another couple hits. That dude, all he does is hit against the US right two for two off the bench. All he does is get hits, all against you lefties. Well he got the one off Whitlock in the ninth too.

00:05:35
Speaker 2: Oh yeah, Gammons.

00:05:37
Speaker 1: By the way, Peter Gammons tweeted about Roman Anthony and said or sorry about Jared Durant and said they believe taking his hand off the bat in his swing has changed the be low power use of his added strength in the whole field, and that appears to be heading to the best season of his increasingly accomplished career.

00:05:52
Speaker 2: Well really, but that could.

00:05:55
Speaker 1: Be a huge boost for He's all over trade rumors all the time, and he's raking for Mexico. Mexico still has a chance, by the way.

00:06:03
Speaker 3: Okay, they're fine, they'll go to the next round.

00:06:07
Speaker 2: They can beat Italy.

00:06:08
Speaker 1: Yeah, and both of those teams look pretty good and potentially evenly matched. Italy's got maybe a little bit of an edge on the pitching side.

00:06:16
Speaker 2: Who they got Nola and Lorenzo.

00:06:19
Speaker 3: They haven't pitched, ye, hold on, I'm looking right now. Who's tomorrow? I didn't say who's pitching yet.

00:06:27
Speaker 2: Well, remember the other day we went through Team Italy's.

00:06:29
Speaker 3: Roster and I haven't watched every game of this thing.

00:06:35
Speaker 2: Tough to do. Maybe somebody in the chat can help us.

00:06:38
Speaker 3: But Quatorinini be great, Britain, Quatini, Quatriini.

00:06:47
Speaker 2: I have Nola Lorenzen pitched yet, I don't know.

00:06:49
Speaker 3: I'm looking right now trying to find it. H Jacob won the first game.

00:06:56
Speaker 2: Uh, this is ribon and stuff right now.

00:07:01
Speaker 3: No, no, no for that game. No for their first game, and then they must have they probably saved those guys. Looks like they saved them.

00:07:12
Speaker 2: That would make sense to.

00:07:14
Speaker 3: The pitched Maronaccio's pitch. Ok Festa Patrini, So that would I would say, Nola, And now here's the question, do you do you go, Nola Lorenzo, do you piggyback them and you just save them for Mexico and say we're going to piggyback these dudes on the same game and try to win that game.

00:07:36
Speaker 1: Against Nola's starting against Mexico on the eleventh for sure, Yes, and then let's see lorenz In.

00:07:46
Speaker 2: But I agree with.

00:07:47
Speaker 1: You go with both your guys there, right because you're just worried about advancing to the next round, or you should be. Who cares what the US says to you and obviously want to beat them and pull off a great upset, but not necessarily.

00:08:03
Speaker 3: Not the necessary thing. Yeah, you got to win one of the next two to get to the next round.

00:08:08
Speaker 1: The number one rated ticketing app is seat geek and you can get ten percent off on sea geeks app by using the code territory ten, So you should use it.

00:08:17
Speaker 3: Aj Oh, I'm definitely going to use it for WBC games in Miami because I want to go to the semifinals in the finals.

00:08:23
Speaker 2: And they're going to be sold out.

00:08:24
Speaker 3: Absolutely spring training games for the people out there who want to go to spring training games. Absolutely great idea, best seats Radar one through ten, and I recently had to use seageek to buy tickets to a Florida Gators basketball game that was sold out. So I love the code territory ten percent off and the rating is the best.

00:08:39
Speaker 1: Yes, he's talking about each ticket rated on a scale of one to ten, so you know you're getting a good deal. So look for the green dots. Green means good, red means bad. And of course we have a code for you. Like I mentioned, it's territory ten for ten percent off your next set of tickets at Sea Geek. That's ten percent off any tickets with promo code t E R R I t O R Y one on zero. Make sure you click the link in the description and download the app and have the code automatically added to your account so you can use it later.

00:09:07
Speaker 2: Thank you to see Geek. Can I ask you something? Also? Did you see the Schoogle news since we did our.

00:09:12
Speaker 3: Show, Yeah, what we said, he wasn't gonna pitch. We kind of knew that.

00:09:16
Speaker 2: I don't know. I thought there was a chance.

00:09:17
Speaker 3: There was a chance, but then the Tigers were like no, either Tiger's Scott Boris or somebody got in his ear and was like, hey for all of them, or everybody's family and family. His family's like, hey, you could make like four hundred million, dude, let's not have this happen. But he was there tonight. They kept showing him. He was still in the dugout in the reports. I saw where he's going back to Lakeland. Apparently he stayed one more night.

00:09:44
Speaker 1: Yeah, I saw he's leaving now after the game, is what they had said.

00:09:49
Speaker 3: So they got that PJ. I guess there's no flight to Lakeland right now. At eight eleven pm, Central.

00:09:56
Speaker 2: Not quite. There aren't many flights to Lakeland.

00:09:59
Speaker 3: Very even the Flying Tigers can't get there.

00:10:03
Speaker 1: By the way, just quick side note, Uh, Team Puerto Rico advanced. They beat Cuba.

00:10:09
Speaker 3: Ah, they won. Yeah, there was raining and I was kind of trying to flip back and forth. But it was raining for to one.

00:10:15
Speaker 2: Do you know, by the way, do you know because I didn't really watch.

00:10:17
Speaker 3: That Venezuela advance, right, So Venezuela verus Dominican for the one or for the one or two seed tomorrow?

00:10:23
Speaker 1: Yes, Wednesday, Today's Monday, right, yeah, Wednesday. Maldonado By the way, Martin Maldonado at a three run double in the bottom of the second.

00:10:31
Speaker 2: Good for him, still kicking.

00:10:35
Speaker 3: Dominicans. The Venezuela on that's going to determine who plays Japan. You want to win that.

00:10:42
Speaker 2: Game, so you don't have to play Japan.

00:10:45
Speaker 3: Till the semifinals, right, and then you get Korea first.

00:10:49
Speaker 2: Oh, huge difference, major difference.

00:10:51
Speaker 1: Yes, Yes, I think that will probably be the most lit game of.

00:11:00
Speaker 2: All of pool play.

00:11:05
Speaker 1: You have two vaunted you have two I mean, super scary all star lineups right with Venezuela and Meinican Republic And did you hear them on the broadcast when Mark de Rosa was trying to defend how they're having fun. I don't think anybody doubts that.

00:11:23
Speaker 3: You know, he's like just because they had fun.

00:11:25
Speaker 1: Well, but they talked about on the broadcast and Ken chimed in. Dero didn't say it during the game. He said it to the broadcasters like Joe Davis and John Smoltz. I guess maybe before the game, Like, our guys are having fun too. They don't pimp Homers for twenty minutes and do a whole dance around the field. You know they're having a great time. But Venezuela and Dominican, Oh my gosh, the celebration.

00:11:48
Speaker 3: Think about that game. That game is for all the marvels.

00:11:52
Speaker 2: The Wednesday game. Yes, but they're both going to advance.

00:11:54
Speaker 3: But still, you trust me, you don't want to play, You don't want to play Japan. Yeah, you want Korea first. I mean I can't wait because I get to do the Japan versus either one of those in Miami is gonna be insanity. But those two playing against each other on Wednesday in Miami with that crowd and any whoever hits a home run, it might the game might never end. They might never just they might just never make it around because they're gonna stop and do so many things along the way. I mean, Junior Kevin, do you see Tatisia's great? I mean Junior Kevin Earo. When he hits a home er, it takes him twelve minutes to get around the bases, which is I It was fine.

00:12:33
Speaker 2: He did that last year and then when Dominican we.

00:12:36
Speaker 3: Had him on after it and he talked about it, and I was like, are you tired from.

00:12:40
Speaker 2: Do you know what else he did today? There's some reporter.

00:12:43
Speaker 3: Tony I respect the hell out of him for doing.

00:12:45
Speaker 2: That, who was like, he won't be on the roster, and.

00:12:48
Speaker 3: Then he was like he went to ask him a question, he just walked away. Ben the hits, I haven't done it.

00:12:53
Speaker 1: And there's probably people that look at him like, oh, that's rude.

00:12:56
Speaker 2: It's like, okay, look back at context.

00:12:58
Speaker 1: He got called out and it was a fun now viral moment from a very good kid in the sport who hits tanks. Anyway, back to you ask for a moment, is there anything that gives you hesitation that they might have significant trouble in the quarter semis or final game. What about the pitching plans that we talked about earlier today and how they have to be very meticulous with who gets work on what days to set everything up. Yes, do you think it's going to be like that? Yes, in the quarter semis and final. Yes, because you were just with them. I talked to.

00:13:39
Speaker 2: Pitch this guy this day, this guy that day, This guy can't.

00:13:41
Speaker 3: Wait close the game today, hadn't touched the mountain.

00:13:45
Speaker 2: He makes to pitch.

00:13:46
Speaker 3: Yeah, Garrett Clevenger, Why did he pitch? That is his name, right? I want to keep calling him Steve Clevenger, but that's not I know that's not the right name.

00:13:53
Speaker 2: Keep calling him Mike who was in the bigs for a while too.

00:13:56
Speaker 3: I know Starter anyway, But anyways, Clevenger had to pitch. He hadn't touched mound yet, right, What like Matthew Boy got in some trouble. Why do you think nobody was up and coming in? He had to get to his pitch count. So there's there's just so many more things that DeRosa has to deal with. Because also DeRosa works, let's be he works for mob. He's on MLB network all the time. He works for Amobi. He has that job because they like what he does.

00:14:20
Speaker 2: And he works for a mob and he has to take phone calls from all the team.

00:14:23
Speaker 3: He takes phone call after phone call after phone call.

00:14:25
Speaker 2: He's talked about it. It's not easy.

00:14:26
Speaker 3: No, it's not And there's I said, I've been saying this. The one way they can get caught is they get to a situation where they and they only have a couple of guys and he said this that can come in and with they call him dirty innings in the middle of an inning. He only has a couple of guys that are allowed to do that.

00:14:41
Speaker 1: Why couldn't they The rest of the guys have to start clean the more dirty inning guys.

00:14:46
Speaker 3: I didn't make the roster. I don't know.

00:14:50
Speaker 2: Two games in Houston, their first two games, and you were with them.

00:14:55
Speaker 3: He and they let them all finish the innings.

00:14:57
Speaker 1: Right, But he tried to put together the best team pop that wants to be there, that has a little less on the rules and restrictions.

00:15:03
Speaker 2: It doesn't sound like.

00:15:03
Speaker 3: The other thing they can do is you can't dry hump a guy. He said, if they get up, they're coming the game.

00:15:09
Speaker 2: Okay, no, they're not.

00:15:10
Speaker 3: Probably they are pitching. If a guy for US gets up, maybe Kershaw is the exception, sure, but if anybody else gets up, they are coming in the game. There is no They cannot dry hump anybody. That's not every team.

00:15:27
Speaker 1: That's gonna be tough, you know, if you're going up against the team that be when you get to the end. Japan doesn't give it.

00:15:35
Speaker 3: They should be able to survive all the Listen, they should make it to the finals. Okay, they should, they should.

00:15:43
Speaker 2: Okay, Puerto Rico.

00:15:45
Speaker 3: They should be.

00:15:47
Speaker 2: Is that who they're lined up to play?

00:15:49
Speaker 3: Well, they line up to play Puerto Rico or whoever finishes second. Whoever finishes second in the Puerto Rico Canada, I don't even know who's I don't know what the records are in that pool. Of course, isn't that Colombia Nicaro or no Colombia Panama? Cuba? So they could play Cuba. They should beat Cuba. Alexia Ramirez is fifty seven years old playing shorts Cuba.

00:16:10
Speaker 1: Okay, that's probably who they're going to play in the.

00:16:14
Speaker 3: Quarters, Cuba Canada. They should beat both those, Yeah, and they get Puerto Rico or probably Mexico again and they should beat both of those teams.

00:16:23
Speaker 2: Wow, So they just completely avoid Japan the finals, the finals, yes, it's nice, good.

00:16:32
Speaker 3: But then the finals by then, but they can you know what I think. I don't know when they can keep reloading guys, but I think in the finals you can reload two more guys in the bullpen.

00:16:40
Speaker 1: Yeah, you can add some more pitching from your pool. You know what I'll say about the bracket?

00:16:45
Speaker 3: It's interesting, isn't it? How it worked out?

00:16:46
Speaker 1: It is interesting, and the fan in me of course once USA to win, but I also am like, oh man, I would have loved to see them in a crazy quarter semis against one of those teams.

00:16:58
Speaker 3: Too, right. Can you imagine a quarterfinal Dominican US winner go home in Miami or even in Houston.

00:17:07
Speaker 1: It would be nuts best sporting event in my life, hands down, USA against Dominican Republic in Miami in twenty seventeen, calling the game hands down, best.

00:17:21
Speaker 3: Experience in my life is that year US one? Right?

00:17:24
Speaker 2: Yes, US one in twenty seventeen, but they won in San Diego. Yeah, this wasn't the final.

00:17:30
Speaker 3: It was like quarterfinal.

00:17:32
Speaker 1: Yeah, whatever, I don't even remember final that year. I don't think Japan was in it that year. Like I don't think Japan was in the final.

00:17:41
Speaker 3: I don't know.

00:17:42
Speaker 2: Might have been Puerto Rico was.

00:17:43
Speaker 3: It, I don't know, I don't know, it might have been Japan. US was twenty three, the seventeen the first one Japan be Korea, right, very first one, I mean Cuba, that was.

00:17:56
Speaker 2: The very first one. Yeah, that's the last time the US won Mexico. Full circle.

00:18:00
Speaker 1: Wait, I want to show the schedule for a moment coming up and then we'll keep chatting.

00:18:03
Speaker 2: We'll do our Player of the Game soon. So this is the Tuesday schedule.

00:18:08
Speaker 1: Now you can see where you can find those games, or you can find all of these games on the Fox one app if you sign up. But that includes Japan just playing a little basically.

00:18:21
Speaker 3: Ticket again.

00:18:21
Speaker 2: I think that a lot of people are waiting for that moment.

00:18:24
Speaker 1: Plus, the Japanese fans actually love check Ya apparently Otani like we're a hat or something for them. Last time around in the WBC, uh, we've got Canada taking on Puerto Rico Italy against USA.

00:18:37
Speaker 2: The headliner nine o'clock eastern.

00:18:39
Speaker 1: By the way, we'll have a postgame show for that one, we'll be on it around midnight, most likely nine o'clock Eastern Italy against USA. Mister Jersey, Todd Frazier and Eric Kratz will be with me after that game. But again Fox one app to watch all of those games, start your seven.

00:18:58
Speaker 2: Day free trial.

00:18:59
Speaker 1: To day they're airing every single World Baseball Classic game, so if you want to find it all in one place, it is very easy to do. So we'll do our Player of the game coming up in a moment. I'll take votes in the chat if anyone wants it.

00:19:17
Speaker 2: Yeah.

00:19:17
Speaker 1: By the way, in twenty seventeen, they beat Puerto Rico eight nothing. I just looked down at my notes or at the chat for the first time in a minute, and we've been asking all these different questions, going into random wormholes, and they've been providing almost all of the answers.

00:19:30
Speaker 2: So I appreciate that. But this is fun. It's been a fun ride so far watching all of these.

00:19:36
Speaker 3: It's been great. I mean, I love this event, so I think it's really cool. I mean it's hard to watch every game somewhehere at six in the morning and five and you know there's multiple games on at the same time, so you're flipping them back and forth. But it's a great event. I just I think they showed the Olympics in twenty eight how if they if they do it, how the teams will qualify us automatically? I know there's going to be like only like three good teams in the whole thing. It's like there's only but six or eight teams in the things. Six and one two are coming from Europe and Africa and once coming from Asia. It's like, I'm like, wait, what the heck? The whole thing is crazy.

00:20:17
Speaker 1: Did you hear when Bryce Harper was like, yeah, this is sick, but it's not the Olympics, And.

00:20:22
Speaker 2: I was like, I get what you're saying.

00:20:24
Speaker 1: That people will watch curling and everything else and act and it'll get big ratings for the Olympics. So there it is a different type of stage. But at the same time, I'm like, this is the stage in terms of all the teams getting into one place. The Olympics is going to have six teams, and like you mentioned, they're going to be missing half of the top six teams. Yes, so the team format the US will be in for the Olympics, and then the top two finishers out of like almost every other good team in this tournament. So Dr Venezuela Puerto Rico kinda to Mexico.

00:21:02
Speaker 3: So all of those teams, okay, so will make it Two teams from the America will will qualify from World Baseball Classic. Two teams will qualify through the Premiere twelve in November, with one being the highest placed team from Asia and the other from Europe or Oceania. Oceania which by the way, is not the plane that crashed and lost and they never found them or whatever they went to wherever, but not the name of it Ocean Airline, Ocean Airlines anyways, maybe, and the final team to qualify would be decided the final qualifying tournament, held no later than March twenty twenty eight. The tournament featured the top two teams unqualified teams from Asia, Europe, one team from Oceania, and the winner of the Africa Cup.

00:21:47
Speaker 1: Okay, but that's why this matters. Yeah, even for the non champ there's this is a qualifier for two other teams. Like, yes, if DR Venezuela, Dominican Republic or Venezuela doesn't advance to the Semis one of them probably doesn't make it.

00:22:12
Speaker 2: To the Olympics.

00:22:13
Speaker 3: What's funny is if I look, I'm looking at the premiere and we're away off the rails here Premiere twelve, and who's in it. It's the highest twelve ranked national teams. But if US is already in, and there's two other teams that already.

00:22:25
Speaker 2: In, right, so they're going off other teams that are ranked higher.

00:22:30
Speaker 3: It's just so there's none in Africa, Chinese type it's basically the WBC teams. It's it's literally.

00:22:35
Speaker 1: Yeah, but they're not from that tournament. They don't take the take in the Americas that qualify, So.

00:22:42
Speaker 3: The Netherlands, Australia, Type A, Japan and South Korea or the five.

00:22:45
Speaker 2: If you don't Japan you said, you say Japan in that list.

00:22:48
Speaker 3: Japan, Taype, Korea, Netherlands, Australia. There's only five from the America.

00:22:53
Speaker 1: So it'll be Japan and then it's basically the pool that we just saw.

00:22:57
Speaker 3: It'll be Japan, Korea, Type A, Australia, yeah, right, and throwing the Netherlands just for fun.

00:23:02
Speaker 2: It's basically the same group.

00:23:04
Speaker 1: Although yeah, Netherlands, I mean, but the Netherlands is going to have the big leaguers in that tournament. So again, why this is important? Yes, we are going completely off the rails. But any other thoughts dropped them in the comments if you were watching this, Let's finish with this thought as we will pick a player of the game. We're going to do these postgame shows after every game for Team USA and after the Dominican Republican against Venezuela on Wednesday. Your MLB Rivals player of the game, Roman Anthony.

00:23:35
Speaker 2: It's a Roman Anthony.

00:23:36
Speaker 3: I didn't even get a vote.

00:23:37
Speaker 2: He had the deciding homer.

00:23:38
Speaker 3: I didn't even get a vote.

00:23:39
Speaker 2: Who were you going to vote?

00:23:40
Speaker 3: False skins? Four innings, one hit, seven punches voting? Dude, Come on, I didn't even get a vote.

00:23:45
Speaker 2: Voting closed.

00:23:47
Speaker 3: Yeah, but I wasn't even asked.

00:23:49
Speaker 2: Roman Anthony had the deciding.

00:23:50
Speaker 3: I mean, I have an ID Scott on my I'm sorry, that's all everyone's talking about. So I had sorry, let.

00:23:59
Speaker 2: Me see it.

00:23:59
Speaker 3: I don't have it on me.

00:24:00
Speaker 2: That's why you didn't get a boat.

00:24:01
Speaker 3: Oh that's a good point.

00:24:03
Speaker 2: What's wrong with Roman Anthony?

00:24:04
Speaker 3: Three? No, no, no, that's no, it's great. But he got thrown out of the dish, like Bobby Witt made two incredible plays, had a couple of hits.

00:24:11
Speaker 1: You take out his homer and then what about Judge a homer that was temporarily Mexico scored three, So you think it should have been Skeens.

00:24:21
Speaker 3: I mean Skeens to go four innings, no runs.

00:24:24
Speaker 2: He was to it was four innings. Okay, I'm just saying it's tough for listen.

00:24:30
Speaker 3: I love Roman Anthony, so I'm happy.

00:24:32
Speaker 1: But okay, let me just do a quick pull in the chat what everyone else thought. It's Bobby Witting. It's not close from Rev. Thirty six. Yeah, he made some sick plays.

00:24:48
Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't listen Roman. I'm fine with Roman Anthony. But I had a couple of hits. Actually had a two walk that was a nicer bat.

00:24:56
Speaker 2: He's the young guy you know they bring like a Star of Tomorrow.

00:25:00
Speaker 3: He's the Christian Laighter.

00:25:01
Speaker 2: He's the Christian Laightner for.

00:25:03
Speaker 3: Except he gets if he gets to play.

00:25:05
Speaker 2: Except he gets to play.

00:25:06
Speaker 1: He's the Bobby Witt from last time, except he gets to play.

00:25:10
Speaker 2: Bobby Witt didn't really play last time.

00:25:12
Speaker 3: He pinched.

00:25:13
Speaker 1: I know he didn't know whatever he's playing now, there he is. He's nasty. That's his MLB Rivals card. By the way, World Baseball Classic Style. He almost homered his first A, B.

00:25:29
Speaker 3: And second of that. We hit the one second of that to the fence.

00:25:31
Speaker 2: And oh that was his second half. Be okay, I think we got.

00:25:40
Speaker 1: Mexico manager Benji Gill on his ultimate wish of playing USA again in the championship game, believing it would be a different outcome next time. I want to face them more than anything else in the world. Did you hear his in game interview on this.

00:25:51
Speaker 2: It was great.

00:25:52
Speaker 1: He was like, this is big, it's important, but I mean, we're trying to get to the quarters.

00:25:58
Speaker 2: It was almost like I've got a mission to do.
