Oh. 00:01:42 Speaker 3: I mean to find somewhere the sun right now, I have my shades down humble brag, my automatic shades, and I'm getting blasted by the sun right and I don't know where to stand. 00:01:54 Speaker 2: Bring out the color in your head. Take it, take a few minutes, Do whatever you gotta do. Yeah, that's hold on I'm right here. Hold on, what what game did you call while we're waiting for you to figure out your life? 00:02:05 Speaker 3: I call I called panthers, Uh, panthers, I called panthers rams. 00:02:12 Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, dude, It's like I sit there and I even try and time it up to when Greg might might check his phone, because the thing too is like. 00:02:23 Speaker 3: I check my phone during my game. 00:02:25 Speaker 2: Yeah. When we're on ESPN with Rolofsky, like every break, he immediately goes to his phone. Then you go in after after the show and you're on Twitter, cut oft his surfing and you see he's been tweeting back at a lot of people, and I think that would be a great bag to add to your game. It's like, oh damn, Greg, He's he's so beautiful. You know. Greg's got a different process, Breg. Yeah, Greg is a no nonsense process guy. Greg's a guy that hated social media and he's like that is so lame. You guys shouldn't be doing that, like focus on ball. And now he's found himself in a world where like I kind of have to and I hate it. Am I wrong by saying that? 00:03:00 Speaker 1: No? 00:03:00 Speaker 3: I mean I I I definitely am involved in social media during the week. I try to social media is how I keep up with news, trends, pop culture, just everyday life entertainment. So like, I'm I don't engage on social media consistently, but I view it, I consume it. I'm not a great in I don't create a lot of social media content, but I do absorb a lot of it and find a lot of it amusing, stupid, funny, you know everything in between. But uh yeah, the last thing you can do during a game, in my opinion maybe some guys do is like worry about what's being said on Twitter, or what people's critiques are, or what people say is good bad momentum, you know all that. So I mean, I obviously see the tweets after the games, and I have people that now like send them to me, which is the way I get a lot of my storylines. Is now people are in on the in on the kind of joke and h and send it to me. But I I the idea of like reacting to social media during the game blows my mind. 00:04:04 Speaker 1: Dude, because I feel like the worst thing too, And correct me if I'm wrong, Greg, But say you were just to like scan your phone and it might even just be it could just be text messages. 00:04:12 Speaker 2: But if you get. 00:04:13 Speaker 1: Something that is like maybe either egregious or abrasive or about something called, then you're like, think that's like. 00:04:19 Speaker 2: On your mind. 00:04:20 Speaker 1: Then when you were about to go that cold makes sense you're about to go back on TV, you might not, like, you might not even be thinking about it as a reason why you don't. But I'm just you know, I'm just spitballing because I'm like, I'm trying to time it up when you might go to commercial and I might have like something. 00:04:34 Speaker 2: With momentum, momentum. Hey, you got to talk about momentum. 00:04:37 Speaker 3: Hey the Brams had all the momentum when that game started to dude, Yeah, all it's crazy though, It's just, you know, you guys have really opened my eyes to not only the idea of momentum and how important it is, but for something that's so important and that everybody is just so desperately trying to grab onto, it's just amazing to me how it's so ever fleeting. Yeah, that's the part, you know, for something so important that everyone's trying to capture, nobody can actually maintain it. That's that's the part of it that I find so funny. 00:05:13 Speaker 2: Yeah, dude, momentum is the golden snitch. Like you're not just gonna get that thing all the time. Always like eventually like someone's getting closer to the snitch than the other person and it's just a back and forth, and whoever grabs the most momentum at the end of the game, they are the winners. I was listening to I can't remember what game was, if you you know what it was right after the game last night, the forty nine Ers game forty nine Ers Eagles, and it was just three people sitting at the desk in the middle. Guy he was a coach for these Steelers for a long time and count Yeah, Bill Coward. He's sitting there and he literally is just speaking on the idea of momentum and how it's not a quantifiable asset that you can possibly have, but it's so real. It is real. And he was like, if you listen to you speak about how momentum is like so not a thing of the beat of a pop Guess he's like, I got approve, Like I truly thought he was like sub speaking to you on national Maybe. 00:06:06 Speaker 3: He's a huge fan of busting with the Boys. Maybe he just loves the Monday Maybe he just loves the Monday recap. Yeah, you know, listen, I'm not I'm not anti it. I'm not I'm not closed minded. You know. I think we watched a whole weekend of football where at any moment in time, if we pressed pause, one team had all the momentum and that was so critical to their future success. And then within two to four plays or at most of possession or two somehow that momentum that was so critical to grab onto somehow the other team got it and it I don't know it. 00:06:45 Speaker 2: Just I don't know it. 00:06:47 Speaker 3: Just it's just to me, so it just feels lazy. It just feels like I don't know what else to say. So I'm just gonna fill this in with this non No one can tell me I'm wrong. No one can prove to me I'm wrong. But in no world can I prove that it's right. 00:07:05 Speaker 2: You know. 00:07:05 Speaker 1: But you just again, there's moments where you have the momentum and then boom, you can lose it bam, like Carolina gets in that game, they don't get back in the game. Or if the Rams continue to build a momentum and the ball just doesn't hit Pooka in the head or hands. 00:07:19 Speaker 3: Like. 00:07:21 Speaker 2: Pookah, who could drop the ball. Pooka's notss to dropped the ball. He's mad because he hurt the momentum. 00:07:28 Speaker 1: You flew too close to the sun. You flew too close to the sun. There's this fine balance of having the juice. It's like when Drake May they do that little speed option and he bumps it on the D, N and D and falls forward. He goes up to get a first down, like this juice comes in your body, like, oh, I'm playing with the I'm starting to feel it. I'm playing with this different level of swag. But you can't fly too close to the sun, get over your skis and think everything's a cakewalk. You still got to execuse and then the moment you have a lapse, a lapse, and it can happen like that momentum gone. 00:07:59 Speaker 2: That's the thing, man, Think about all the practices, the games that you've played in your life. When you walk out and you're like, bro, I really can't miss today. That's momentum. And as when you start, you start bawling out a little bit, and all of a sudden you're like I'm feeling myself. Oh yo, you see Gregor, you see him on that outside block right there. Oh my, he just caught a nice little thing, took a little farther bay. He's feeling himself. He's feeling himself. Then all of a sudden, through the hands. That's how you kill momentum. Yeah, you had momentum and got killed. 00:08:23 Speaker 1: Or maybe Greg, you as a coach, you got a couple plays that you would like to get to. Maybe in the right situation or circumstances, your players out there, they start creating this momentum to where you're now loosening up a little bit as a head coach, and you're like, I'm dropping this play on him, and then that play works and you're thinking, hey, I'm kind of in my bag right now. Versus if you didn't have momentum, then maybe your own feeling is like, Okay, maybe I don't go to this play right now. I'm getting a little more. I'm getting a little bit more in the box. I'm kind of handcuffing myself a little bit. But you get to free yourselves from the cuffs whenever you start sparking a little bit of momentum, right does that makes sense. 00:08:58 Speaker 3: Jaguars, Jaguars, that's that's so. I mean the Jaguars had won what seven straight six straight ish when they finished the season six six. 00:09:08 Speaker 2: And I think they it was. 00:09:14 Speaker 3: It felt like they had all the momentum. Yeah, obviously didn't play out well. 00:09:22 Speaker 2: No, No, that that's that's that. I love that you brought that up playoffootball eight game winning streak, right, it's a reset, like you can start. 00:09:29 Speaker 3: It's like, hold, guys, I need I'm gonna like I got to write like a board of all the rules. 00:09:34 Speaker 2: And we need to do that. We'll hit that in the off season for you for shit project, like mid April. We'll have a breakdown of like this is how momentum works. Where're gonna have a full Q and A. But if you go in the playoffs your eight game winning streak, that's a great momentum start to have. But just like the movie f One, like you're starting in different places now, so you might start at the front of the pack with your momentum, but it all depends on how you drive that game. Now. I believe the Jaguars were running at like six point one yards per for carry, but they were tote in the Rock pretty nice, and they got a little pass happy. Liam Colem, as great of a coach as he has been the entire year, might have hurt his team's momentum because Trevor Lawrence himself wasn't having a momentous day. Does that make sense? Can we feel good about that? 00:10:15 Speaker 3: Yeah? I mean it sounds like it sounds like that's the answer to all of this. When you don't, when you're unhappy with the results, it's because you didn't capture or you lost said momentum. And when you do have momentary success, the reason for it is that momentary momentum. But if it could lose, you could lose it at any moment. Yeah, it's you know, it's Yeah. I guess I'm starting to really learn how just utterly ridiculous it all sounds. 00:10:48 Speaker 2: Momentum is not the listen. 00:10:51 Speaker 3: I believe guys have confidence. I believe athletes feel more confident than others. We've talked about that. I feel there's a mentality that built through processes and routine. And yes, I believe good practice matters. I believe good practice habits matter. I believe building out your pregame like I believe all those things from a comfort level put players in a better or worse spot to go out and have success. I'm not saying at an individual level these feelings are not real. They certainly are. I've experienced those same moments of doubt and fear and holy shit, I've forgotten how to catch the ball. I hope he doesn't throw it to me, and in other games where I'm like, he could throw it at my ass and I'd catch it, you know what I mean. I can catch it with one hand behind my back. 00:11:35 Speaker 2: Yeah, because you've got some jews got momentum. 00:11:37 Speaker 3: But I'm not going to sit here and say that there's this like big collective universe of this energy that no one can sense called momentum that is somehow coming and going and losing and great. I don't know. I don't catch a ball, drop a ball, make a block, miss a block, catch a ball, drop a ball. But every time people talk about momentum, it switches sides three thousand times a moment, and everyone's trying to capture this arbitrary thing, but they haven't quite figured out how to hold onto it. 00:12:08 Speaker 2: Greg, do you have a best friend. Yeah, when you're around your best friend, do you feel like a man, I'm so stoked to be around my boy right now. 00:12:17 Speaker 3: That's how I feel when I'm on the show. 00:12:18 Speaker 2: Okay, great, so all right, well you probably won't get this in this show. But let's say you're with your boy and you see him and then you walk away and you're like, man, my boy didn't really feel like my boy, did it? He kind of felt like he was a little off. Something was a little different about my boy. You felt that before, like everyone? Yeah, yeah, So individually that's called energy. You take eleven energies and then another eleven energies. That's one collective energy, and that's that is essentially the nucleus of momentum. So when you're feeling everyone's got their different energy, their confidence says, hey, I hope he doesn't throw the ball at me. That's someone's energy that they're vibrating at a lower frequency. And then there's the greg Olsen that you can throw it in my ass. I'm gonna catchit a time. That's a higher frequency. Now we're looking at right, and then collectively, as a unit, there's a percentage point that goes up. So based on all the guys, you could be writing at seventy percent energy, eighty percent energy, but you don't want to get too high. So just like the universe, you can you can kind of take out for people that aren't religious. Hey, instead of saying God, let's say universe and all the things are the same. You can basically do that with energy and momentum the same way. Am I am I off kilter in that. 00:13:21 Speaker 1: You're saying a little something right there, something you agree with or something a little something that like, oh, something that I buy because I believe in momentum. I think where we get stuck because everybody's sitting there listening comments and so this has just been at debate shown momentum. I think we all understand and correct me if I'm wrong, Greg, But momentum is arm in arm with execution. Oh, Like I know from my seat that I sit in I believe in momentum. I also believe in execution. So I buy into again the messages we go back and forth on. I'm like, I'm acceptive or accepting and receptive to the messages that you bring on bust with the boys. When teaching football, I feel like you're in a spot to where you're not necessarily wanting to accept momentum because momentum is there whether you want to believe it or not. 00:14:09 Speaker 2: I'll give you an example. 00:14:10 Speaker 1: So listen, we got New Year's resolutions going on, We got we got account of bill of buddy systems that haven't taken place day in and day out because we're not building each and every day. We're not stacking days. When you have an off there you miss a work out. Let's say you want to get a sweat in twenty minutes every day, you're six days into it. In the seventh day, you kind of something happens to have. 00:14:32 Speaker 2: Not gotten a sweat in. 00:14:33 Speaker 1: And the conversation I will have with myself is I'm not stacking consistency, like I'm killing my own momentum because now I'm in my head thinking I'm going to have to restart or reset because it comes down to executing and building on that momentum. So momentum execution are arm in ARM I accept the execution. I accept some of the analytics football talk that we have. I get that, Okay, I need to buy in or I want to buy into this because it does make sense to me. But you're not going to tell me there's no such thing as momentum, because we all believe, we all feel it when we get a little juice, we capture a little bit of energy. 00:15:07 Speaker 3: Oh, I'm not debating that there's times where you feel you have all the energy. I'm just asking why then so quickly does it. 00:15:12 Speaker 2: Flip when you miss an extra point and you can't be. 00:15:15 Speaker 3: Able to why if if you had all the momentum, why did you miss the extra point? Because because he all the energy, why Pooka dropped the ball? If you had all the energy, why when it was fourteen nothing, wasn't it twenty eight nothing? That's why when you have it's just such a it's just so silly. 00:15:32 Speaker 2: Yeah, but look, look, look this is where they didn't execute. 00:15:35 Speaker 3: You watched those games over the last two days and thought, oh my god, the team that's in control, and they just skated on the games flipped the thousand times the games went back and forth. I threw Drake May through an interception on the first drive of the game. Oh my god, he's MVP. Hes done. He stinks. Matthew Stafford couldn't complete a pass in the third cour order. All the momentum was gone. The pat Stafford can't complete a pass. He's the worst performance of the season, and in the fourth quarter he didn't throw it in completion, So it just I don't know, like when did he have it, When did he lose it? Who took it? Did he lose it in the lock? No one can ever say they just throw out The team that's doing well is only doing well because they have the momentum. It's just nonsense. 00:16:26 Speaker 1: They've been executing, executing because. 00:16:29 Speaker 3: You're executing, they're playing well. The right guard didn't jump off sides, I didn't miss the slide call. The receiver didn't run his route deep enough. For it's football, there's a thousand things that can go wrong. I think to just blanket statement when it goes right, they've got the momentum and that's why it's going right, and then when there's something that goes wrong, it's just because they've arbitrary given the momentum back, as opposed to saying why are they Why is their past game struggling? Why is their defensive Why is JC Horn and Mike Jackson and playing so well? What are the coverages that they're using? What are they doing up front? Are they blitzing more than they normally do like, that's my take on it. We all just sat there and just said, man, this team's got all the momentum. They're doing great. We wouldn't need to analyze the game. We would just throw out these cliche you know that really came out to establish the run today, Like what. 00:17:22 Speaker 2: What that's a good take. That's a good take. 00:17:27 Speaker 3: No, it's just lazy. In my opinion, it's lazy. Now I'm not I certainly don't have all the answers. This is just one man's opinion of doing my job of trying to present context of a football game that's very complicated and very complex and a thousand different layers of physical and mental and emotional individuals. 00:17:46 Speaker 2: That are there. 00:17:47 Speaker 3: I mean, you guys know it. There's a thousand things. I think they just put this blanket label on the good and bad times related to a word that nobody can define as just lazy. 00:17:57 Speaker 2: But you can feel it, Greg, Yeah you yo? 00:18:02 Speaker 3: Were you not when the Panthers threw that touchdown? Buddy, I was sitting in that stadium. Bank of America Stadium hadn't been like that in ten years. That place was rocking there with seventy eight thousand the scoreboards lighting, there's a laser show. Jalen Cooker's in the back corner. Bryce Young's getting helped up by the official. They just took the lead. They had all the momentum, and then Matthew Stafford went touchdown and then they lost. 00:18:32 Speaker 2: Dude, it's like it's like you said, it's fleeting. It can happen. It's a the audience, the destiny. 00:18:40 Speaker 1: If we're going to fulfill the destiny of this, the audience that loves the child, that loves to listen in and listen to Greg Olsen, come on and hear us talk backing for the momentum, the destiny, if we're going to fulfill it. It's just Greg acknowledging that momentum is real. You just said it. How the stadium it hadn't been like that in ten years. You're watching it happen the juice. 00:19:00 Speaker 3: I'm not saying it didn't exist. I'm just saying people need to know. 00:19:03 Speaker 1: Hey, the momentum we're feeling in this place right now, Joe, do you see it? 00:19:08 Speaker 2: Can you see there isn't an ass on an empty seat? 00:19:11 Speaker 3: Put your hand out, Joe. 00:19:11 Speaker 2: You can literally touch the momentum right now. 00:19:13 Speaker 1: And the audience of this show is gonna just come up like Leonie on DiCaprio, like there he is, Briggs, he's he's he's understanding what the audience feels from there at I'm watching this game and being like, oh man, do you. 00:19:23 Speaker 3: Feel this momentimum it felt it? 00:19:25 Speaker 2: Oh snap, it went the other way. Yeah, we felt it in the booth. 00:19:28 Speaker 3: I just want to know why. Why And thirty seconds later, after the kickoff that. 00:19:33 Speaker 2: Left Matthew Stafford Matthew Stafford. 00:19:36 Speaker 3: I guess we're gonnash it. 00:19:39 Speaker 2: We're gonna snatch the soul from these right. This is this is Pokemon, this is a dragon ball Z. This is you. You've gathered your individuals to help you, and if you just have a Matthew Stafford on the other side, it's like that guy at any moment can take your momentum and he can shove it up your ass. 00:19:55 Speaker 3: That's what I can do and I got. And the best part about this is I have you, guys and all of your trusted listeners pointing it out to me multiple times a game, and for that I feel like we've won. 00:20:09 Speaker 2: Do you have not one? 00:20:10 Speaker 3: We we have no winners and losers. 00:20:16 Speaker 2: It hasn't been successful until Greg Olsen is on a broadcast and even just goes. A lot of people right now are probably thinking to themselves, there's a lot of momentum taking place. I just need you to mention momentum and then we can take the next step. 00:20:31 Speaker 3: And if for. 00:20:31 Speaker 2: God's sake, if you don't do anything else and just look at our text messages at a commercial break, you'll know the right time. Don't look at Twitter. People are haters on Twitter. 00:20:41 Speaker 1: Hey, take it our group chat and I'll even call him bus on that because here was a no show last week on this show right after the weekend, the word we laid out the formula of here, here's when you ject momentum to the conversation when the patriots going. 00:20:57 Speaker 2: I gave you dude, told you, hey, this is about us right now talking about Greg not showing up on the show after he had the perfect opportunities of momentum in a group chat that you displayed perfectly, and we. 00:21:08 Speaker 1: Said it on the show like, here's what's gonna happen, yep, when New England scores and you're gonna talk about this loss to the Buffalo Bills. The best thing ever happened to this team whatever I said, and then we laid it out in the group chat. Hey, here's the quote that you're gonna hit Joe with if when the Patriots go of seven to nothing. And it was right there to the point to where I believe. And I was taking my daughter to a birthday party and I'm telling her, no, sweetheart, we can't listen to the Frozen soundtrack. Daddad has to listen to this game right now? Do. I had it cranked up the drive after. I'm waiting to hear when's Greggie boy going to talk about everything we laid on the game plan? When is he going to execute all the things that he preaches? We are right there right and it never got missed. 00:21:49 Speaker 2: And dude, I'm literally going outside. It's dusk and I'm going to do get the chickens and get the eggs and feed them for the night time. And my dad texts me and says, Greg Olsen is crushing this call right now, ever since you've had him on the show. And I see the fun you guys have. 00:22:04 Speaker 3: I have. 00:22:05 Speaker 2: I love walk listening to Greg Olsen call show. And my only text back did he mention momentum My only text back to him. Did he mention momentum and Mike to break mine? He had to break mine on me. 00:22:20 Speaker 1: This show lost on me, This show lost all of its momentum when he decided not to execute. 00:22:25 Speaker 2: Exactly. 00:22:26 Speaker 3: That's fair, that's fair. 00:22:27 Speaker 2: Exactly, that's not me. 00:22:28 Speaker 3: I got a whole year. I don't broadcast again until September. I'm done, boys, what do you? We're done? Divisional round? It just goes to the four A crews. 00:22:40 Speaker 2: Oh, Greg, that's bullshit, dude, you're an A C. You're an A crew. 00:22:44 Speaker 3: You're well that means a lot coming from you, guys, but I appreciate it greatly. But yeah, we're uh, we're done, man. I mean, I'm like, today's like my exit meeting, and instead of doing my exit meeting with I'm doing my exit meeting with you guys. 00:22:59 Speaker 2: This is the egg meet. And honestly, if you want to break it down, you have such great insight on the game. You do great job technically both on the offense and the defensive side of the ball. If there is room to improve, allow the audience to be a part of your broadcast by mentioning momentum. 00:23:15 Speaker 1: Yeah, the audience as a whole understands the energy and momentum shifts because Buddy speak to them a little. 00:23:21 Speaker 2: There is going to be a rocket ship of momentum that takes off and explodes in the atmosphere the minute you mentioned momentum in October, mid October Midspooctober. 00:23:33 Speaker 1: Of next year, we interrupt this episode to bring you Rose Sparks. Let me explain why guys keep talking about Roe Sparks. Let's get back to this episode, all right, enough, I do have one question, A real question, will before because I know everybody probably like when when we start talking about these football A real question, as you're like getting in, is this something that's just contractually laid out and you know, no matter what, at all times, the last game is going to be called divisional round or is there a feeling or a sense that it might that there could be an opportunity or potential for you to call a game beyond the divisional rounds. 00:25:19 Speaker 3: No, it's all it's all pre set, you know. So whenever they went to the you know like Super wild Card where there's uh, you know what is it six games? Yeah, so the way the way the TV deal goes well this year, so it was you know, the main A crews go Fox, CBS, NBC, ESPN, and Amazon so Prime so those five and then there's an extra game. So this year, the the in the broadcast deal, it kind of rotates. You know, CBS might their beat their second crew might have gotten a game in years past, I want to say last year like Peacock had a game. So this year the six slots of wild Card where the five regular networks, four networks and one streamer, and then Fox had the second the sixth game, like the Fox had the sixth game. So that's the way it worked. But then when it goes to the divisional round, it just goes to CBS, NBC, Fox, and ESPN. So it just goes to the four main So there's no there's nothing you can do. It's not there's no momentum you can build and then lose and then build it back and then lose it again. Yeah, it's just clearcut. You know, we got the wild card this year and uh, and that'll be it. So he's known this all year. 00:26:33 Speaker 1: Is there a momentum that takes place in the offseason to where you are looked at as the A crew for next year? Or is that is that all? Is that already kind of figured out contractually? 00:26:44 Speaker 3: Yeah? All these contracts are multi years, So you know, Tom's obviously under contract for eight more years with Fox, you know, so it and then you know Romo's under contract, and Aikman and Collinsworth, Herbstreet and then obviously all the crews. Really the only networks that have like second, third, four, fifth, you know, down the line of multiple crews or Fox and CBS just because you know, we're the two networks that broadcast the full slate of games every Sunday. But yeah, all those all those contras no different than playing all those contracts. Our multi year deals are laid out into the future and pretty clear kind of what crew you're on in those. 00:27:24 Speaker 2: How much longer do you have with Fox? 00:27:27 Speaker 3: My contract runs out next year, So I got the twenty twenty six seasons, my last contractual season as of now. 00:27:33 Speaker 2: Will we talked with this too? I know he's a guy in two years. Oh, that's right, that's right, Yeah, that's right, that's right. 00:27:38 Speaker 1: Momentum, Am I allowed to ask going into your next deal? You're looking you'd be looking for. I need to be part of an a team. Am I allowed to ask that? 00:27:47 Speaker 2: You can ask? You can ask me. 00:27:48 Speaker 3: You're can to ask me anything you want. This is the trust tree. Okay, Yeah, you know I've been pretty I've been very open and honest about all of that. You know, I love doing this. I love talking ball, I love analyzing the game. I love calling the games. It's something now. I just finished my fifth season doing it, and I really enjoy it. 00:28:06 Speaker 1: You know. 00:28:06 Speaker 3: I've called playoff games and Super Bowl and you know, some really cool moments. And my plan is to do this for as long as people will have me and don't kick me out. You know, the reality about this world is there's only a couple of those top jobs, right each each network has one, and there's only really five network slash streamers that are in the game as of now, so you know, those seats don't become open very often, so you kind of it's really just a waiting game and buying your time and just try to no different as a player. You just try to do as good of a job as you can in the job that you have at the moment, and you just hope over time people see it and believe in it and appreciate it, and some do, some don't. But you need one person that really likes the way you do it and feels that you can be an asset. And there's also a big timing element of that are you available? Is this seat available? So for right now, I'm really happy doing what I'm doing calling games. I've got a great crew. We call some really cool moments obviously, playoff games and whatnot. So I'll uh, you know the rest of that. There's really just like a an element of you just got to see how the market opens up. There's a lot that you can do. 00:29:18 Speaker 2: If hypothetically, since we're playing the trust Tree game, let's just say like a Netflix got like a slate of games like they are now a part of that group of CBS, Fox, ESPN all that, and they're like, hey, we need an a list crew for a game, and you're an exclusivity deal with CBS, would you humor the idea of the again, let me ask it in a way that you can actually answer. Would there be a buyout that kind of takes place, if they were to buy you out and go to like Netflix, or how would that work if hypothetically there's an option for you to be an A list guy. 00:29:51 Speaker 3: Yeah, so certainly you would entertain those and have to dive deeper into what exactly the role is and the slate of games and you know, so it's easy to label something as an A job, a B job, a C job, but you really have to just get a framework of what games are you broadcast, and what's the platform, what are the days, how many of them? Compensation? You know, there's there's like anything, there's elements to the job that make some more and less some more appealing and some less appealing. If those A level jobs come up, you have those conversations. Fox has been really clear and open and very positive with me about like they want to see me get a job right like kind of it's like every head coach that has that really good coordinator, you know, if that coordinator at some point one day earns the opportunity to be a head coach. Those head coaches say, you know, the good head coaches say, we want to create an environment that we can showcase you and get you to the level that you wish to go. And that's how Fox has been to me, both publicly and behind closed doors. So I've been appreciative of that. And if those opportunities present themselves, you know, for obviously you explore it no different than you would in any other industry. 00:31:04 Speaker 2: I love that all right now, talking football, I just want to know real quick, how long do you want to do this before? How long do you want to do this? 00:31:12 Speaker 1: Like? 00:31:13 Speaker 2: Is it until retirement? Troy noons, He says, you're doing it forever. I want to know what you think. 00:31:18 Speaker 3: Troy, Yeah. I mean my plan right now is you know, I'll be forty one in March, so I'm relatively young in the TV world. I might be younger than Will. 00:31:31 Speaker 2: Well, how old are you, I'm thirty six. To relax, I'm thirty four. I'm old. 00:31:38 Speaker 3: I'm an old podcaster. I'm a relatively young TV analyst. I guess you know, I don't know if I have like a set number. Am I going to do this when I'm seventy. Probably not, but I don't see any time soon that this is not something that I continue to pursue and continue to do because I love it. It's fun, It keeps me in aged in the game. I've learned probably more in the last five years than I did in fourteen years of playing. The conversations, the access who you get to talk to, picking the brains of some of the best football minds in the league. I've learned and stolen information from people way smarter than me. And I think that's being able to identify who those people are and what pieces of what nuggets they're giving you that are really good, I think is the key to success in a lot of ways. And that access that we get as TV analysts has been really fun in that regard. 00:32:31 Speaker 2: I love that. I do love it as well. 00:32:33 Speaker 1: Don't don't steal stuff on the internet. They people people people gate keep a lot on the internet. 00:32:38 Speaker 2: They do. 00:32:38 Speaker 1: Yeah, So, Greg, in your opinion the games you've watched, because we still have Houston and Pittsburgh to night, which team do you feel like have has. 00:32:51 Speaker 2: The most momentum coming out of the wildcard weekend. It's a great question. It's a great question. 00:32:55 Speaker 3: It's a great it's a great question, you know. I think you know what's so hard other than last night's game, which felt like, probably beginning of the fourth quarter, it felt like the Patriots had all the momentum and they weren't going to give it back. Yep, I feel like that's so outside of the Patriots, who I felt like won that game handily. I had no point, and I think the Chargers were going to score a touchdown, let alone two touchdowns to come back. That their offense really struggled, and the Patriots defense was awesome. Your boy for abel his plan on defense, the way he handled those end of game drives over the two minute warning, with the substitutions and slow playing and dreaming clock, and he really handled the end of the game. I thought he should have went for two to make it fourteen. But outside of that, I thought he really handled the end of game really well, draining that clock on that last possession of the Chargers. The other games were so close, right, Like, I think you can make an argument that we could have the Panthers and Philly and the Packers could just as just as likely to be playing next weekend as the teams who won so I'm not sure if there's a clear cut favorite right now. I think Seattle's sitting pretty good, sitting there a week rested, with teams coming to them after having the buy. I think the Rams, probably for a non divisional team, probably have the best path. I think they'd much rather go play Chicago coming off that win against the Packers, then go play a rested division rival in Seattle that they, you know, have had two big games against already. So I would say probably the Rams have the best path to the NFC Championship. The Rams and the Seahawks would be my bet. Although every time we count out forty nine Ers and McCaffrey and Shanahan, every time we say they have nobody left and they have nobody worth the shit our boy, we got pour one out for our boy. Yeah, bros, so hard, heartbreaking. I hate it for him. I tried facet timing them this morning. He didn't answer. I get it, you know, do I see Seattle San Francisco going to Seattle and beating them decimated? No, but we've also canceled, you know, called it, you know, counted them out the entire season, So I guess anything's possible. But uh, that was a really bad answer. But I don't. I don't think there is a favorite I would I guess if I had to say, it'd be the team that didn't play, and it would be Seattle. 00:35:22 Speaker 2: See momentum if you're just looking at it from a strictly momentum standpoint, strictly hard to not look at the Chicago Bears and go that team's got a lot of momentum right now based on yeah, based on their second half being down one. 00:35:36 Speaker 3: What if there's a decline because there's like an emotional letdown, Like, how do you quantify that? 00:35:40 Speaker 2: Very very real, very real? And like momentum is not a foundational piece. It's something you gain after, just like putting down your foundation as a team. And the Bears, as exciting as they are and how much momentum they do have, they are a team that needs momentum in order to continue their playoff run. Like, dude, have we seen a better throw in recent years? In that fourth and eight by Caleb Mills. I mean, that was the most incredible throw I've personally ever watched a live and been like, oh my god, this kid is absolutely amazing. And then to go the next play and have his feet set, perfect pocket presence, ball high and tight, and deliver a ball that sales away from him. It's like, man, if he can just when it's when the pocket's clean and you're just stepping into your throw like a normal quarterback. If you can, if you can acquire that skill, he will be the most dangerous quarterback in the NFL. 00:36:38 Speaker 3: I can teach that. I can't teach the first one. 00:36:41 Speaker 2: You can't teach that that. That's incredible what he did and he put it perfectly where it needed to go. 00:36:46 Speaker 3: But the work on his footwork in the pocket in the off season, no doubt. You can spend all your life and that throw he made to his left off the ground both feet, dropping it over his own defender into the on the biggest play of the season. There's two guys in the league that can do that, maybe one. 00:37:07 Speaker 2: Yeah, and then literally he hit the Jordan logo while throwing a ball like it was like it was up. It was perfect, Like, dude, it's I have become. 00:37:16 Speaker 3: Sneaky, sneaky. Highlight play of the weekend I don't think enough people are talking about was McCaffrey's catch on the reverse pass. 00:37:24 Speaker 2: I didn't see that. 00:37:25 Speaker 1: The catch, you're saying, sneaky athletic, the way he caught it. 00:37:29 Speaker 3: I think that catching any And you know, we're spending so much time on Jwan Jennings in the throw and the play call, and rightfully so the catch that McCaffery. Anyone who's ever tracked the ball over their head knows that the ball that lands on your backside ear is the hardest catching football because it's like the Willie Mays, right, it's like behind your helmet. Then you factor in that ball is thrown by a receiver forty yards down the field on a rope in thirty five million hour wins. Yeah, that ball in the air probably moved six yards. 00:38:04 Speaker 2: That's crazy. 00:38:05 Speaker 3: And for a running back, now, I know he's unique, but for a running back to track and catch that ball in that moment, I think people just looked at it as like, oh my god, what a throw, what a play? Yes there, that catch is so ridiculously hard, and I don't think people have an appreciation for how hard that was that catch, the Caleb Williams throw. We saw some plays this weekend Colby Parkinson's catch to win the game. We saw some individual plays that are like the difficulty level is like through the roof. 00:38:38 Speaker 1: Jaw dropping, because even on McCaffrey's catch too, there's that there's that split second of being in a blind spot where you're kind of throwing your hands at it. 00:38:45 Speaker 3: Yeah, and the hardest catching it's the hardest catching football. 00:38:49 Speaker 1: Yeah, No, CMC is unreal. Staying on the uh, the Packers Bears game. Did you see the stat that came out with you know, in their two games, like how many points the Bears scored in the first half. It was a total of six collectively in their two games. And then the second half is like sixty eight second half in overtime. Yeah, sixty eight points. I mean the fact that the Packers were up twenty one to three and then you go back, you know, when they did take the lead and miss that extra point. It was funny because we were You said, like a momentum. You said something, and I replied under your tweet like packers got all the Packers got the momentum right now, And then I was like, wait, they just missed the extra point, missing two field goals as well, like a collective seven points they left on the field. 00:39:28 Speaker 3: Just should have just taken the points though. 00:39:30 Speaker 2: Yeah, brutal way. 00:39:31 Speaker 3: Yeah, take the point, tried to take the points. I just don't know why the points. They didn't get that point. 00:39:35 Speaker 1: No, I know, but a brutal way, crazy, a brutal way to go out for the Packers. 00:39:40 Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, And it's just I think they're also the point differential for the fourth quarter this year, Like in the first half it was it's, you know, minus something, and then the fourth quarter throughout the the totality of the year, it's like plus one twenty two. Yeah, like it they are if they could just figure out a way to do that the whole game, the whole game. Yeah, but they're they're they're they're too momentum based. There are too momentum based. Bear. 00:40:06 Speaker 1: I thought that call to by Ben Johnson on the last touchdown where they come in they go tackle over, so the tackle is set to is this the. 00:40:17 Speaker 3: Uh? 00:40:17 Speaker 1: No? 00:40:18 Speaker 2: Was it was it? 00:40:19 Speaker 1: It was like the it was the pump screen in the fringe area, Yeah, to Loveland to where they have the tackle over because they they did. 00:40:26 Speaker 2: It earlier in the game to where they have more moran. Yeah, I thought that. Yeah, I thought it was a receiver. Yeah, threw like bubble. 00:40:34 Speaker 3: They threw like balanced bubble balance was wide open for a touchdowns because earlier. 00:40:40 Speaker 1: In the game they set it up like as you guys know, they get the bubble or they get the screen out on the perimeter, tackle screaming out there, they go tackle over to get big Boy even closer, and then they throw, they fake the perimeter and then go up the field to score a touchdown. I thought that play call was was incredible. Ye, based on the way that play. It's the same play that took place in the Bills Jaguars game when they did like a bubble scream and I think it was knocks. He went to fake block and as the guy bit he just ran up and it. 00:41:06 Speaker 2: Was right there for a touchdown. Yeah, dude, it's some of that matters. Coaching does matter. 00:41:12 Speaker 3: Look at the four teams left in the NFC. I mean look at I mean look at just look at who they are. McVeigh, Shanahan, Ben Johnson, Mike McDonald. 00:41:21 Speaker 2: The best, the four best. 00:41:22 Speaker 3: Coaching matters, quarterback matters, play calling matters. It just matters. 00:41:29 Speaker 2: Yeah. What staying on the Bears, Loveland, he has had I think after a week six, like. 00:41:36 Speaker 3: He's really good. 00:41:37 Speaker 2: He's incredible. I would love to hear like your personal breakdown of Colston Loveland as a tight end. 00:41:43 Speaker 3: I'm glad you asked so. I've always thought there's two camps of NFL tight ends. And this is not a knock on anybody. This is just the reality of the position. There's two camps in the tight end world. The first camp is well, not easy by any means. The first camp is you are going to be the product of your system in the fact that play action you're gonna catch a lot of like slam flats on bootlegs. You're gonna catch play action shallow drags and crossers, and I'm just gonna scheme you open a couple checkdowns in the passing game on third down, and next thing you know, you look up at the scoreboard and you got like four or five catches. I always looked around the league and said, there's probably thirty guys in the league that could have had those catches. There's nothing unique about your route running. There's nothing unique about your separation skills, your leverage, your chopping. There's nothing really unique other than you were in that position and the play dictates you getting the ball. The next level of guys right, the Kelsey's and the Kittles, and you know Rock Bowers and now this next generation Colston Lovelands, et cetera, et cetera. They then can go above and beyond and they can be flexed out wide like Colston Loveland and run like a fade, comeback to the front corner on a defensive back for a critical play on the left, on the front left corner of the end zone. He can run separation sail routes and pull away from safeties and track the ball in space like Those are the guys that you want to find, because yes, they'll catch a couple flats, they'll catch a couple easy checks, a couple otbs. Those are trust me, they all count. I caught a million of them. Can you go above and beyond the play call? And when it's just hey, you got this route and it's not the perfect look and you got the wrong leverage of the defender, can you flip that leverage? Can you separate? How do you get in and out of the brakes? How do you high point contested catches? Can you make the plays that aren't just schemed open for you? Those are the guys that are the top tier dudes, and that that's Colson Lovelin. I thought that coming out of college when they drafted them. Now we can make an argument whether you draft a tight end ten or you know, is it too high too low? But the bottom line is the dude's stud and there's a handful of guys in the league that can play both elements of NFL tight end, and of all the young guys, he's one of the. 00:43:59 Speaker 2: Few when you alluded to it. But the the fake fade, come back to the pylon, that was the two point play? Correct? 00:44:07 Speaker 3: Yeah? 00:44:07 Speaker 1: Yeah, the milk milk the milk check. Yeah, So which is a milk on milk crime? Milk on milk crime, that's heavy cream. Yeah, that's not any Yeah, it wasn't fun to watch. But the minute that Chicago lines up for a two point play and they're all condensed, you know, big formation, they're in like jumbo package whatever, and they break out into you know, whether it's an empty look or three by one, whatever it was, and they broke out and I saw thirty one, which people are saying that was his only defensive play of the season. White guy, White guy Guy thirty one jogs out there and I see closon Loveland and when it breaks out, I was sitting on my couch upstairs my bonus room, and I just I set up on my couch and I just go, oh no, because you know thirty one is also in Hell. Yeah, thirty ones also in Hell, but nobody from the inside is also starting to fade out there. Like usually when you have some of those situations and maybe you're in Cover one and man or rat and you're gonna have a guy, whether it's steal somebody derneath whatever it is, some safeties, you might be sitting out there like I've been in those situations of where hey, if it breaks down, you get this look the Deshaun Golston or Dante Whitner look over, you know when game playing, like Hey, if this happens, I'm gonna I'm going to I'm going to lean towards your side to help you out. When I saw that wasn't taking place in the Green Bay Secondary and this dude was on his own, I was like, Oh, this is a milk check right here. My boy's gonna get got, and he got got, and I hated. 00:45:26 Speaker 3: Every team should get in, every team should get an additional timeout when random white guy, it gets caught and covered. 00:45:33 Speaker 2: Here's what I'll say that. 00:45:34 Speaker 3: Here's what I'll say that. That's so fair when I first when I first came in the league. Maybe you guys too, I think there were rules about that that don't apply anymore, right like there were when we came into the league. I'll never forget like there wasn't many. But if there was a white guy in the secondary, chances are you were going to go after him. But I think the Cooper de Jeans of the world and those, I think maybe those days are changing, right, Cooper Dejene first team All Pro or maybe first or second team All Pro, Like, you're not targeting that dude? What was the other thing? Riley mossive ends? 00:46:09 Speaker 2: What's that I said? 00:46:13 Speaker 3: So maybe those maybe those rules don't necessarily apply like they did years ago. Think of what every you know, Taylor, you know every defensive end, every white defensive end earlier in your career. What was the scouting report? 00:46:26 Speaker 2: Uh, gritty, hard working effort guy. He's not going to stop. So you got to stand on the whole time. This guy he'll move right, he's. 00:46:33 Speaker 3: Not going to run by you. Not gonna win with Yeah, I don't know if that's necessarily the case anymore. Right, You've had Hutchinson and you got Bosa, and you got all these freaking dudes that are defying that old school adage. So I don't know. I think I think we're moving past uh slowly, very very slowly. 00:46:53 Speaker 1: Or we're still we're still in the process to where there's an exception to the rule, but the real universally still getting close. 00:47:01 Speaker 2: And well again, when I saw thirty one go out there, I sat up and I was like, oh, no, it's over. Yeah, it's over. And Greg, basically what you're saying is what we've been saying for the last couple of years, is we might be up. White boys were kind of making a comeback in the secondary, and that's that's a massive. 00:47:19 Speaker 1: They would have had to have thirty one, would have had to have made it very competitive for Loveland to catch that football. 00:47:24 Speaker 2: But it's to be like, we're seeing a good competitive But as we've already identified, that's a heavy cream play. Yeah, that's that's yeah. 00:47:30 Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a white on white there. That's a tough matchup. But the point is there's very few tight ends in the league that are going to go out and run like I call those like he's running real routes. Right, there's a difference between running routes and running real routes. And that was a real route, and multiple times throughout the game he's running real routes. He's tracking the ball twenty plus yards down the field in the air, downfield passing game like that is there's a difference. Not all catches are the same, they get counted the same, but anyone who watches it and knows it, they're not all equal in difficulty and equal in ability and what you need to be able to do. And oh, buddy, he's a he's a stud. 00:48:10 Speaker 1: Now, buddy, it's like you know, you're you're in the milk section at the grocery store. There's a difference between our granted gat grass fed whole milk and the two percent or the skim milk by Prayer Farm sitting at the end. Yeah, there's just there's levels too, There's there's definite levels. 00:48:24 Speaker 3: Well, I'm not just saying he's good for a white guy. 00:48:26 Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, no, but listen, right, we know we all know what it's like. 00:48:30 Speaker 3: When did you see when the culture comes down? Show? 00:48:34 Speaker 2: Well, what do you what do you do? 00:48:36 Speaker 3: You never saw his Rocky Town show? 00:48:38 Speaker 1: No? 00:48:38 Speaker 2: What happened? 00:48:39 Speaker 3: Did you ever see Aiden Hutchinson? Do Michael Jackson? 00:48:42 Speaker 2: Yes, no, you're saying that. Do you see it? Yeah? 00:48:45 Speaker 3: Someny idea what I'm talking about? 00:48:46 Speaker 2: Hutch out there dancing on every commercial he's on. 00:48:48 Speaker 3: So, yeah, hutch So we got to start evaluating these guys like the first they should at the combine. They should have these guys get up and say like, all right, you just got drafted, get up in front of the team room and show me. Because Hutchinson was awesome. I think he did, like Billy Jean great, turned out to be a great player. Colson Lovelin saying some I can't remember off the top of my head. It was excellent, like standing ovation excellent. So I think the signs were there early that he was going to be a good player. 00:49:19 Speaker 2: We've all all three of us have been in a moment where it's whether it's college or high school. For me, it was college. When you come up the culture comes up to you and be like, hey, you're pretty X, Y and Z for a white guy forty nine ers in the Eagles, Man, I feel like this the Eagles is a perfect segment for our uh our tastes of the offseason, cause the Eagles have had ups and downs all year and there's always been this. They'll get it figured out. They'll get it, don't worry. They have so much talent on their roster. Look at their defense and how great they are. They got two number ones at wide receiver. They got Saquon Barkley, Thatt Dallas Goddard in the back, who's a top five tight end, top ten at the very least. And then they fumble the back against a team that loses jor which Kittle Early Williams is playing injured. They have a bunch of guys just riddled with injuries and they fall. Is it finally time that we can just sit there and admit, hey, there was an issue taking place behind closed doors with the Eagles. We'll all start with you. 00:50:15 Speaker 1: You already know my stats. I don't got to admit nothing. I sat there as bad as box. And there's a reason that every time I came out with the top five in the AFC and top five in the NFC, the Eagles barely sniffed it because it was always gonna be one and done in my head, it was always like they have an elite defense, so Fangio and what they do defensively, you know they're going to be in games. 00:50:37 Speaker 2: And that went. 00:50:37 Speaker 1: It was sitting there, the group chats were firing up and everything else to where Orlowski was like massive drive for this group chat. Because Jalen Hurts had the ball as a two minute drive, they were in position to go down there and win this game. But all year long, you've seen what's come out of that camp as far as what's going on internally and everything else, to where you knew there were things going on offensively to where this team ain't built to win Super Bowl this year. They had an incredible year last year. They have a lot of great talent on that roster even this year, like they're going to be fine in the future. But I feel like you're really you're able to dial in more of whether it's offensive creativity. There's so many things that went on offensively for the Philadelphia Eagles that the optimism is it's more glaring than ever because it's not like, oh what about when we beat the Rams, Oh what about when we beat the Buccaneers, And oh what about when we beat all these good teams that they did beat in the regular season. But I feel like anybody who's who was diving in which I feel like a lot of us were. But it was hard to just say this team is a pig with lipstick, this team is everything else, because again, they were continuing to win games in the NFC East, which wasn't a very good division this year. But the fact that they did go one and done against a Niners team who's been ridden with injuries and you lose kittle early and you're kind of like it was a tight game. It's like, are they gonna come out of this and survive this game? But the fact that they did lose it, it was one of those things like, yeah, this riding was on the wall basically all your life long. We just had to kind of sit in the pocket because they were again they were coming out with double with wins, with w's in the win column, and even though it was happening through field goal blocks and everything else, like they're a very good roster and a very good football team, but it was it was like I'm sitting there, you know, at the end of the game. I was kind of sitting there with a smile, on my face like clumps, like I'm surprised you're being so nice to me this morning with the Eagles losing. I'm like, bro, it was like it's it was more of like we knew this was coming. It was going to be, just when was it going to happen? Was it going to be in the first game of the playoffs when if they had home games and kind of had like maybe an easier stretch get to the championship game. But in no part of my mind that I think this team was going to be built to win a Super Bowl this year. 00:52:41 Speaker 3: Yeah, Yeah, I think it's well said. I don't debate, I don't push back on anything you just said. I The only thing I would add is I've said probably on the show a hundred times, and I'm like, I do believe you never give up on talent to some regard, right, because when you look at that roster and you factor in that of the twenty two, the dichotomy of the two teams, everything San Francisco has been through, and the guys that are sitting up in suites and sitting in the press box and standing on the sideline of street clothes that are like Marquee star players. And then when you look at Philadelphia, only Lane Johnson, twenty one of their twenty two first game Week one starters were healthy, ready to rock in that lineup, like that was the healthiest, arguably the best, you know, one of the top two or three rosters in the league. And for the most part, their top line guys were all there, with the exception of Lane. So there's no question that's an underachievement, right, There's no question that getting knocked out by a team at you know, losing a game at home, a team San Francisco. Albeit they still got Purty, they still got McCaffrey, they got you know, two of the best coaches in the league in Shanahan and and Solos. I mean, they still got stars. But that team is decimated. That defense that they played against, that they couldn't score in the second half against, was playing guys that weren't on the team three weeks ago. I mean, they're down to like linebacker five, six, you know what. Like, it's remarkable what San Francisco was gonna do. And at the same time, there's no question it's under achievement. There's gonna be change, It's not gonna be Sirianni, and I don't I agree that he's he should not go. I mean, he's won more than maybe anybody in history. 00:54:20 Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a starter to me. 00:54:23 Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a non starter to me. But they'll be they'll be staff changes for sure, especially on offense. 00:54:28 Speaker 2: Yeah. The the a lot of things that are getting me by surprise is people calling for Laflour's. 00:54:33 Speaker 3: Job right now, and and yeah, that's so stupid. 00:54:36 Speaker 2: I think it's I think it's wild to even go down that road. And uh, who was it? Coward? He he brought up a great point. It's like Packers fans don't understand, like the last thirty years, you've had Brett Farv and Aaron Rodgers, and you've got two Super Bowls and then one and one other appearance. You've been in the Super Bowl three times in those thirty years, and you're calling for his head already like they had injuries. You can make it all. Michael Parsons plays in that game. And it's I just think that trying to get crazy. 00:55:05 Speaker 3: So to that point, let me ask you guys this, say today Lafleur was let go, who becomes immediately the number one coaching candidate in this hiring. 00:55:15 Speaker 2: Cycle immediately one. It's tough because Harball Harbo is also in there. So it's so you don't think it's close. 00:55:23 Speaker 3: No, No, I think it's I'm not arguing that it's not close. I think John Harbo is a phenomenal coach. I'm not debating that. You know how I feel about the guy calling the plays? Yeah, I think that becomes an extra check. All right, I think you look at you, look at Philip, Just look at Philadelphia. Look since Nick Sirianni took over, he originally called plays, gave it up the Shane Steiken. They go to the Super Bowl, they lose. Stiking gets hired as the head coach of Indianapolis. He brings in Brian Johnson, They have a regression, he gets fired. They bring in Kellen Moore, They have incredible success, they win the Super Bowl. He gets a head job. Now they promote Kevin Petullo. So since Nick Sirianni took over, he had himself stiching Brian Johnson, Kellen Moore, Kevin Petullo. He's about to have his sixth offensive play caller. Yeah, it's not sustainable. Nobody has lost more coaches than Sean McVay. But guess who calls the plays Sean McVay every day. The only guy that's called plays for Matthew Stafford when all these guys are leaving and all these guys are getting interviews and he's gonna lose multiple guys this year, but you never lose him. So again, I'm not saying John Hobbroll is not a phenomenal coach. His track record, his record, all that speaks for itself. I'm just saying, if you have success, which you plan on having, what is your answer to replacing your play caller over and over and over again. 00:56:50 Speaker 1: Right, It's a phenomenal point, it really is, because there's gonna It's like you can you can say that and then also say, yeah, you know, coach Will floor in the stat is going to look back at how they went about everything in the second half. Maybe it's aggressive play calling, whatever it is, but that's something that you can learn from, fix and get better at because you still have the foundation that's there, which is being coach lafluur. 00:57:10 Speaker 2: Yeah, An, you have a great roster, like your roster coming back next year is. 00:57:14 Speaker 1: Oh, Jordan Love's a beast Like you mentioned Farv and Aaron Rodgers. Jordan Love, Jordan Love is a monster, like he is good, and you look at the development again even to coach Lafluur, like you know, fighting for Coachel Ffur, But look at what happens when you lose Jordan Love for a few games and you got Malik Willis coming in, Like what was his reputation when he got the green band? And look how this dude performs and operates even when your superstar quarterback is not there. 00:57:38 Speaker 2: Just to speak of Malik Willis's development, like I was with him his first year at the Tennessee Titans, and the dude didn't know the place, he didn't know the checks, he didn't know where to go, like, and he was very clear and obvious, which ended up how you let him go and you see him come in now, it's like that is a product of Yeah, Matt Lafluur. Yeah, And that's just it shows how much he does for quarterbacks. And I love the take on the play call because you're absolutely right. It's great to have like a CEO type that can handle like Siriana can clearly handle the personalities. I know him an age. I had a little back and forth in this last game. But he handles personalities really well, which is a big thing for a head coach. But having when people leave and your you're the product you put on the field doesn't change because your your ability to take on things that's unbelievable. That's what you want, right. 00:58:23 Speaker 3: And we said this about about your boy Frae bol when I called their game in Week eighteen against the Dolphins. This is just my opinion. If you gave me a magic wand and I was an owner and I got to hire my staff, my number one would go out and find you at McVeigh Shanahana, Liam Cohen, an offensive mind who also can communicate and lead and coach the entire locker room and not just call plays right, Like, I don't want a play caller as my head coach. I want a head coach who's a play caller. 00:58:51 Speaker 2: Yeah. 00:58:52 Speaker 3: The second best option is vverybel right, verbel ceo type, highly organized, has been there before, has had success. You saw handle the end of that game last week. Because he's not in the headset having to make every single schematic call, right, He's letting coordinators call. He's managing the game, managing the managers, The advantage that he has, especially on the offensive side of the ball, where it really matters, is he has like the bounce pack former head coach play caller in Josh McDaniels. That's a very unique standpoint where Drake May is a potential MVP candidate and Josh McDaniels is most likely not going to interview for a job. So if you can get like the former head coach who's kind of had his opportunities and now he's bounced back, that's Andy Reid with Steve Spagnola, right. For all the success that Andy Reid has had, only Matt Nagy has really gotten an opportunity to be a head coach, unless I'm forgetting somebody, yeah on the offensive sideas on the off and then Spags, who's been the architect of that defense, which I would argue is the only reason they had that long sustainability because the offense started the fall. Spag's got those young defensive guys and took them back to the Super Bowl in year one. Spags interviews. But does anyone really think Spags is going to get a head coaching job right? Right? 01:00:10 Speaker 2: He could, so, do you think is it way more? Is it way more offensive than defensive in your opinion, as far as I play at the calling of the plays goes. 01:00:19 Speaker 3: I just think it's easier to find defensive coaches. I think defensive coordinators and former defensive head coaches get fired more frequently and they're just available, right, I mean, you look around the league at guys. I mean just let's just look at this playoff cycle. In just this season, you got Robert Sala, he just become the forty nine Ers defense really struggles last year and Robert Sala becomes available. The year before that, Steve Wilkes, former head coach, was available. Yeah, you know, you look at Vic Fangio, former head coach was at the Dolphins. Somehow the Dolphins let him walk and he just becomes magically available. Is when they flores. Uh, you know, it's just Jonathan Gannon now becomes you know, he took that first year that the the first year that Philadelphia went to the Super Bowl that they lost to Kansas City. Shane Stiking got the job in Indy, and Jonathan Gannon, who is the dee coordinator in Philly, he got the head job in Arizona. He just got fired, so he's gonna be someone's decordinator. You just go on and on and on. I think I'm not saying defensive coordinators is easy. But Mike McDonald has had incredible success in two years and he's about to hire his most likely Kubiak is going to get ahead job. And now in two years he's gonna have After two years, he's gonna have to have three different coordinators. Yeah, yeah, right, grubs. Grubs made it one year. He fired him because he didn't like it. He went back to college. Gets Clint Kubiak, who's just available because they all got canned in in the st in New Orleans, and he has a great year. It lasted one year. 01:01:54 Speaker 2: He's gotta go find a new guy. 01:01:56 Speaker 3: Yeah, how about Ben Johnson. He's got Dennis Allen. 01:01:58 Speaker 2: I was gonna say Dennis Allen's another one. 01:02:00 Speaker 3: You can just go on and on and on. Right, Like, there's just more of the veteran defensive guys to become coordinators than there are offensive guys, because chances are if those guys are probably still head coaches somewhere. 01:02:14 Speaker 1: Ye, let me ask you think Josh Allen in this Buffalo Bills team, he's going to get over this hurdle of having to travel to Denver and face this defense. 01:02:27 Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I'd rather play Denver than At this point, I think I'd rather play if I'm Josh, If I'm Josh Allen, I as good as Denver's defense is. I think if I had to pick, I'd rather play Denver and Denver than New England in New England, right, I think I think that that's a better matchup. So I think them going in the divisional round to Denver. I think I'm on Buffalo. I said, all right, I can do this. I mean, am I sitting here saying they're going to guarantee? I don't know? I still I I've said all year giving up on Josh Allen. Ever, I don't care what the roster looks like. I don't care what their game flow looks like, the defense, did they have any weapons? They got Josh Allen and he is a generationally talented, unique, not just quarterback, just all around football player. And you, I mean you saw it clear as day yesterday. 01:03:19 Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, Josh Allen, dude, he is He's truly one of one. Like if he's on the Jaguars roster, he that game is it's a blowout. It's an absolute blowout that takes place. And that's that I feel like people that would say old Trevor Lawrence like, now, I'm not trying to disrespect Trevor Warence. I'm trying to give massive flowers to Josh Allen because that's the scary thing about this Bills team is you can run on them. They have the number one pass defense, which is great, but you can run on them very easily. Their wide receiving crew is probably a bottom five wide receiving crew in the NFL. Gave Davis just gets hurt yesterday on a hit that it seemed like he I know this is an allegedly, but it looks like he had another big massive knee injury and had to get helped off the field card to the locker room. So they're decimated once again in that and in that position group. But Josh dude, he has the ability at any point to put the cape on and run through anyone. He can be anybody. And this is Bowenickx's first time walking into a playoff situation, regardless if it's at home or not, like that pressure is different. You see it with Drake May a little bit with the score of that game, like, he played well, but it wasn't like, you know, throwing points on the board over and over again. So I could definitely see Josh Allen going into Denver YEA and catching them in a bit of a lull. I don't know how how old that team is, but just knowing that their quarterback is in his second year in the NFL like that gives me a lot of room for pause, thinking like, Josh Allen really has the easiest path he has had ever to make it to the super Bowl. Yeah, the Denver's defense is for real. They are for real. 01:04:51 Speaker 3: Their defense is for real, there's no question. And Sean Payton can coach his ass off on offense. Yeah, listen, I'm not saying any of you get to the divisional rounds. There's no such thing as an easy matchup. There's no such thing as a good matchup. There's some that are better than others on paper. So yeah, I mean I think, yeah, I could go on and on about how good Josh Allen. I mean, look at what Brandon Cooks did. Brandon Cooks wasn't even on the roster a couple of weeks ago, and he had to play the day. He kept their season alive with that long explosive down the middle that's set up the end of the game. What's crazy, you know the touch push and all that. 01:05:25 Speaker 2: What's crazy is that touch push you brought up like the Bills were on the side of banning the touch post last year was iron and then they ran it for what six six yards? Yeah, that was unbelievable, unreal to the point where like they didn't score it on I think of myself, that's actually a really good thing. They didn't score. They probably took time off the clock. But it's like that was insane that you were able to do that just now. But also like the Jaguars and Will, I gotta give Will out of credit because you know, I think it was early, like middle September. He's like, bro, I'm telling you the Jaguars are a sneaky team, and me and my Tennessee Titans brain is like, no, they're not, and you watched that game and we aren't. That's with the wide receivers. But every time the wide receivers caught the ball, they're getting tackled immediately open space, the first guys bringing them down like they are an extremely well coached football team, and I think where they lost it was getting into the past a little too much with Trevor Lawrence, who clearly was having a non momentum type of day. Like their momentum was clearly on the run game. 01:06:18 Speaker 3: Yeah, and that defense now is serious, They're good. Yeah, Josh Allen's just a. 01:06:28 Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, unreal. And you know it's like you're sitting there. We got to watch so many good games, so many lead changes, and when Jacksonville took the ball, it's like, all right, this is this can be like a Trevor Lawrence legacy game. And to see the ball hit the hands, get tipped up and get picked off on that first. 01:06:43 Speaker 2: First it's a heartbreak and then everyone's everyone's gonna put that on Trevor Lawrence. But it's like yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. 01:06:51 Speaker 3: And I'm just glad it didn't backfire on Buffalo because I think they would have taken some heat for how they handled that goal line situation. 01:06:59 Speaker 2: Yeah right, you you take as much time off the clock as again because they had all their timeouts. 01:07:02 Speaker 3: Right, yeah, so Jacksonville had all their time out, Well no, Jacksonville only had no Jacksonville was out of timeouts. Jacksonville took their last time out on the tush push that originally was ruled a touchdown. Then they ruled correctly that he was down short of the goal line. Instead of taking a ten second run off, Jacksonville elected to use their final timeout. So there was like a minute and two and they were out of timeouts, and the broadcast talked about it, and everyone's sitting at home. It's like, you know, you saw I Vrabel do it a couple weeks earlier in the season, took a knee slash, like just fall down. Yeah, you know, I'm first down. Jacksonville is going to let you score, right, so can you take Can you just fall down and leave it and say I got second goal, third goal, fourth and goal even at Jacksonville. Now, once you run that first play and you run the play clock down, now Jacksonville's going to try to have a goal line stand because their opportunity of possessing the ball now. 01:07:59 Speaker 2: Is a right. 01:08:00 Speaker 3: Buffalo had timeout, so they could have still run time out and handled the end of the game. So fortunately for them, it didn't matter trying to run off another thirty seconds, thirty to forty seconds. It's probably the right move. But again, we judge all of these decisions by the outcome, and when the outcome goes your way, nobody talks about the decision. And that's just the nature of the business. 01:08:23 Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's bro Could you imagine if they took that approach where they kind of just fall down, take thirty or forty seconds off to call a timeout, and then go for it, you know, two three times, don't get it and get stopped. The conversation we would be happening right now. That's the postgame press game press conference now. Yeah, and that's a perfect example of like having the stones to do that. I don't think head coach is thinking that at that moment. They're probably just thinking score. 01:08:52 Speaker 1: No. 01:08:53 Speaker 3: Yeah, No, I don't think McDermott. I think McDermott seriously considered doing it. I think if again, it's easy to sit here now and say could have, should have. The part that's hard to predict is you anticipate on first down that Jacksonville is going to say, let them score. But what you don't want is say they don't. Say they blow up your center and you try to take a knee and Josh Allen gets knocked back and now instead of first and goal at the half yard line, it's first and goal at the yard and a half two. Say you lose a yard. Now you're like, holy shit, it's second and goal from the two, and now Jacksonville hunkers down. So like I think, there's always that fear in the back of your head. It's just a lot easier to say we scored, we gave them the ball. I trust my defense, and if they go down to kick a game tying field goal or god forbid, a touchdown, you stand there and say, hey, man, our defense has to play better. We got to do a better job in two minutes. Blah blah, blah blah blah. That's an easier conversation. People are more comfortable. We've seen that happen a million times. Could you imagine to your point of blowing first and goal at the half because you got cute, that fear is real? 01:10:07 Speaker 1: Yeah, now that's a that's a good like. I could see that being a Friday Friday tape. Friday tape going over a certain situations, because another one that I was hitting Greg on was I want to say it was the was it the Niners? 01:10:21 Speaker 2: Niners? 01:10:21 Speaker 1: They were up by four they scored, they went and kicked the extra point, and I'm like, hey, you go for two there, right, like it was in the fourth quarter, Like, you go for two there to try and make it six instead of four because you're kind of in no man's land with four four and five point lead. Try and go for two and make it six because you number one, just in the hopes of seeing you know, if the Eagles were to score missing the extra point. But you also witnessed the Eagles missing an extra point earlier in. 01:10:46 Speaker 2: That game that was one. 01:10:48 Speaker 3: Yeah, so that's actually a fun one. So you guys want to dive into that because it's actually a fun conversation. Okay, Yeah, in that situation, the kicker had already missed an extra point. He had missed multiple extra points all season long that specific moment that team, Yes, I think I would have tried to go up by six instead. If you score a touchdown on me, I'll hope that you yank the extra point again and at least gives me a chance. Right, if I'm up five, your kicker, you know, his kick doesn't have any real bearing on winning and losing. Yeah, the next level to that conversation, so put that aside for a second, because I agree with will put that aside. The next conversation is a little bit more in depth, and this is where the argument of kicking to stay up five because you don't want to be up four. Being up fives better than being up four. So the guy, let's say he makes the extra point, right, The notion comes down to do you feel more comfortable getting a two point conversion or stopping a two point conversion? Right? Because when I go up five, everyone goes, well, you want to be up The argument for kicking the extra point is, well, I want to be up five because of them up four. Now your touchdown puts you up three. If you go down and score, I mean you go up three now field point put yeah, field goal ties the game. Okay, but if but if I but if I'm up five and you score, you're gonna go for two to try to go up three. Anyway, so you're either gonna be up one or three. Yeah, So do you want to defend a two point? Do you want to kick two? Do you want to go for a two point? Defend a two points? So that one there is some layers, but uh, there's. 01:12:33 Speaker 2: A lot to it. 01:12:34 Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. 01:12:35 Speaker 1: Yeah, Like you're making the decision to just kick the extra point because it's like, hey, if we go for this two point conversion fail and we're still only up four, their extra point puts us puts them up three. Do we want to yeah, do we want to defend? We feel good about defending an extra point versus stopping them on a two point conversion correct a lot of so many layers. Another situation too, and I Green Bay into the game when the driving and their offensive lineman goes down, you got you gotta get off the field. 01:13:05 Speaker 2: And who knows what his injury was, but unless you're done, I remember I the cart's gotta come out or you gotta be dead. We were playing Tampa. 01:13:13 Speaker 3: Uh. 01:13:13 Speaker 2: We were playing Tampa one year and William Golston, who I have a lot of history with, he like after that at the end of play, kind of like flips me over his shoulder and elbows me in the in the testicles, and I'm like rolling around the ground and I'm I'm I'm not realizing it's not it's not competing my brain that you're in four minute. You have to get up right now, and they blow the whistle, they come out my no, no, I just got hitting the ball, so I run over to the sideline, and Vrabel tore me apart about that in team meetings where it's like, no matter what, unless there's a bone out, you need to like not have that clock stop at that point. 01:13:48 Speaker 1: Right right right, Yeah, that is like the conversation that coaches are telling you, like you better the stretch, or something better be happening, you better be dead, or some massive situations. 01:13:58 Speaker 2: You know that take it to run off like you'd always play like what could have, should have what could have happened. It's like, I think there's a really strong chance the Packers win that game. 01:14:06 Speaker 1: Then possibly, but they're just again, they're they're able to to operate a little bit with just knowing you got ten extra seconds on the clock. 01:14:13 Speaker 2: Yes, exactly whether or not they score. 01:14:15 Speaker 1: It's like every backup everybody has to be so in tune and where if you do have a situation like that my man's crawling off the feel, they're yelling, their cheering for him to get off on the sideline, the backup better be ready to just to sprint in. That's the entire operation of everything that, like Verbel definitely teaches and coaches, but everybody being so dialed in, in tune and prepared for a game so that way you can manage the game to the best of your ability. Because it sucks that he got hurt, but you gotta find a way to get off that field, or you jog down just to survive a spy, whatever it is. You just gotta find it. You can't you can't stay late, you can't stay laid up on the ground. And then when I saw him walk off, I'm like, oh, he just that's that's you can't have that. You can't have it, dude, Miami. 01:14:57 Speaker 3: Killing it. 01:14:58 Speaker 2: You did it National Championship and you right out. 01:15:02 Speaker 3: There for the game. That was fun. Yeah. I went out there just for the quick up and back and it was. 01:15:06 Speaker 2: It was awesome, dude. I mean, crystal ball the whole thing. The conversation were having a couple weeks ago about I just can't believe that Miami, who what they finished third in the a SEC. Yeah, has just just been doing it, man. And I literally had to get into the dance bro. I was on ESPN and Greeney looked at me and he goes, it's two minutes left in the game. Carson Beck has the ball in his hands. They have to score to win a touchdown? What happens and I go ole, miss will go to the national championship. If that is happening, I basically kind of just throw Carson Carson Beck under the bus and it only to see him do that exact situation and put it in my. 01:15:44 Speaker 1: Face and around because it was it was the perfect I want to say, maybe there was three minutes left because me, JP and clumb are sitting up there, I'm like, this is Carson Beck's got the ball. This is what we went over, is essentially what we went over to get up earlier that day, earlier that day. 01:15:58 Speaker 3: And I'm happy for him. Man, it's uh, it's been a fun ride, and I hope they can pull it off one more. 01:16:04 Speaker 2: You going to the last one? 01:16:06 Speaker 3: Yeah, we're gonna take the family down. We're gonna let's go down. 01:16:10 Speaker 1: You just tell him don't upload anything to the cloud. Have you been seeing that? 01:16:16 Speaker 3: No? 01:16:17 Speaker 1: Does that mean there's there's like whispers and rumors and allegedly that Indiana has like an advanced Connor Stallion's operation going on. 01:16:25 Speaker 2: Oh oh yeah, Oh I thought you were talking about something different. 01:16:28 Speaker 3: My kids told me about that. I don't buy it. 01:16:30 Speaker 1: It's like it's like hacking into comms. A lot of things, like stuff to upload with the cloud. Like there's a lot, there's a conspiracy and people are tying it. Mark Cuban, he's an owner of Catapult, the GPS system that basically the majority of teams use, and when that data gets uploaded. 01:16:46 Speaker 2: A lot of stuff going on. I'm not saying it's truth. I'm not saying it out of that all right, what do you think Miami's chances are? 01:16:57 Speaker 3: Like? 01:16:57 Speaker 2: Are you right now? The line is? I think seven and a half. Indiana's favored by seven and a half points the last time I looked at it. How do you How do you feel we got all the momentum? I don't think you do it. 01:17:11 Speaker 1: Did you see that ass whooping Big Netty put. 01:17:13 Speaker 3: On all the momentum? We got all the momentum. 01:17:16 Speaker 2: Boys, it's oh, it's eight and a half favorite now, so Indiana is going to eight and a half even better? 01:17:22 Speaker 1: Is it? 01:17:23 Speaker 3: Now? They're going to lose their momentum beause they're getting high on themselves. 01:17:26 Speaker 1: Yeah, they're flying a little too close to the sun, like the Rams almost did against Carolina. 01:17:31 Speaker 2: All Right, Greg, you're the man, bro. 01:17:33 Speaker 3: Thank you for taking rock. Have you seen it? 01:18:49 Speaker 1: I saw Carson back. Have you guys been seeing it? Well, the stuff coming out with not coming out like it's truth, but the stuff that's going. 01:18:57 Speaker 2: We were texting about that, weren't we on Saturday? Yeah? Yeah, yeah. I did see like I think it was Friday or something like that. Like I saw like an account that I it was like Indian has an advanced scouting Connor Stallion's kind of taking place. And I went to the account and the account had like three and a half thousand followers, and I was like, this to me, isn't enough. 01:19:16 Speaker 1: There's more accounts. I will say, whispers have been there, but more underground. This was the first weekend to where I feel like you profile like people out there are talking about it in a louder with a louder voice, And again, I have no fucking clue. I'm not because I've loved the fantasy about like talking with all the Indiana fans, seeing what they've done, how they flipped and turned the program around and potentially starting at a sixteen and o season. I think we sleep on the fact that we might not witness a sixteen and o potential season with the parody and everything coming to college football. So the history that Indian is making, I've loved the story, I've loved everything else, but it's hard. You see everybody going back and forward with Miami. Now you're picking it up because again you got all the banter, all the fandom kind of arguing back and forth and debating, articles being written out defending. So you just see the noise getting louder. 01:20:03 Speaker 2: The noise is growing where people are already figuring out a way to put an asterisk on Indiana's one national team, already trying to already trying to And dude, if you're just sitting back as a fan and people are really breaking down that Indiana when Kurt Signetti took over, Indiana football was the losingest football program in D one history ever and he has lost two games in his career and his career as a head coach. Like, if they win this national championship, there's already an argument in my mind to be like, is Kurt Signetti the greatest head coach of all time? And that includes Nick Saban That there's dude, just think about it, like Nick Saban, Nick Saban to lsure the moment easy, this is this is and I will that's a perfect thing. This is a prisoner of the moment type of thought process. But just stick with me here and whoever's watching and listening, you can comment your opinions. This is just the avenue I go down. Is Nick sab him he was an LSU, right he wins a national championship to Miami comes back? He doesn't. He goes to Alabama, which is always got great players. Always they have four or five star guys. Indiana when the statu you brought up in ESPN is incredible to where these schools have like sixty something blue chip players that are four and five star guys. Indiana doesn't have any five stars and they have seven four stars and they're the they don't make mistakes, they know every situation perfectly. They have a quarterback that was like a two star, three star coming out of high school was Sir cal He's a surgeon. And it's just there's no way to look at this and look at the roster talent and be like, oh, Kurt Signetti, like he might be the greatest of all time, he might be the goat. 01:21:47 Speaker 1: I think that's where it separates, because I would die on this hill that this is the greatest coaching job we've ever seen, like a turnaround season stuff like that. But the separation would be the sustainability and longevity. I mean sabing seven college football National championships, Like they started winning those Natties at Alabama when he was there, like starting in nine, he got on nine, tenty, eleven, twelve, fifteen, seventeen, twenty. The sustainability and culture and everything that he built, Like there is a there's a legacy factor that he has there, Like the legacy right now, Indiana finishes sixteen, and oh, the legacy is gonna be statue, Like I'm sure there'll be a movie about this one day because it is unreal. Again, when we're talking to these Indiana fans, the gratitude and just they're so hyped to be there just to cheer on their team. They travel very well, and all of them across the board, it's just that it's unreal to them. One guy was like, it's like a dream on top of a dream. It's like a dream beyond a dream. Oh he's inception. Yeah yeah, and the way his eyes are moving around as he's trying to explain it. I'm like having conversations with the fans and they're just they're all so nice and so appreciative and just so fired up that this has happened with their school. Like it's it's unprecedented what Chris Signetti has done at Indiana for in these first two years. 01:23:00 Speaker 2: Right, so we're going to be like the goat college. I love the framing of this might be the best what you say. 01:23:06 Speaker 1: Coaching, the greatest coaching job we've ever seen, the. 01:23:08 Speaker 2: Greatest coaching job we've ever seen, and that is I think already done. Yeah, yeah, yeah, we go. Also the outcome of this next shire, Yeah, I feel you to go from the worst to arguably the best. 01:23:20 Speaker 1: And again the last thing anything that they wont of substance was nineteen forty five. Yeah, and when we were talking about on ESPN, it's like since two thousand they've had twenty or twenty one losing seasons. 01:23:32 Speaker 2: It is incredible in with this team. And the thing that I saw I saw was it Josh Pate. He's saying that Indiana has the nicest fan base of all time. You you telling that story just now, And it's like these fans truly are living in a world of gratitude where like we're just so happy to be here as opposed to maybe some other fan bases that have been you know, we we should, we need to be in this position. That's kind of program we are. I wonder how long this uh success needs to be sustained for the fan base to change to be like, yeah, yeah, this is what we do. 01:24:05 Speaker 1: You know they have a four lost season, like, well, I think we need a can Signata dude, Like I think he's lost his juice. 01:24:12 Speaker 2: It'd be it would be crazy to see because I really feel like this fan base, I'm so happy that they're getting to feel this moment because I'm sure if you're like if you're born into being an Indiana Hoosiers fan, you're probably giving a certificate being like, hey, this is a good therapist you could possibly have. Trust me, it's not going to go well, but this is your This is your and now you get to live in it, which is just mind blowing to me. 01:24:35 Speaker 1: And again, like in America, football is the most popular sport. Like just imagine being like generations. A dude was wearing a bracelet talking about how it was just dazz and how much he just loved football in Indiana football even though they were no good and he's now wearing it because it's like a generational thing. And the thought of like I'm here because I know he'd want me to come to this game, like the most popular sport in America. For all you've ever known, your grand parents, everybody. All you've never known is man, we'll never get to like Sniff's success the way we see all these fan bases have fun to now be in a spot to like, hey, family, pack your bags, we are going down to Atlanta to watch us in the in the semi finals of the college football playoffs. Are now it's like we're going to We're going to this national title, Like this is core who knows how long this will last. This is insane the feeling we get to have rooting on this football team. 01:25:23 Speaker 4: Yeah, some would argue, before Indiana has gone on this run, the biggest thing in Indiana. In Indiana is the breackyard four hundred or the IndyCar race that happens there. 01:25:34 Speaker 2: I mean their basketball team. It has been always they got the movie Who's. 01:25:37 Speaker 4: But like it's still like that's that was the biggest thing that everybody in Indiana would look forward to. Now it's like they have a football team. 01:25:43 Speaker 2: Yeah, they got a ball club. It's incredible, a ball club that, like I'm trying to like, Miami has things that could definitely equalize the game. But I don't see a lot of avenues for Miami to win this game, like outright win it. 01:26:00 Speaker 5: It is so rare for a situation like this for these Indiana fans, for this program to not only have this turnaround, but to also not be the sweetheart in the situation. They are beating people's asses like they're the big dog walking. 01:26:14 Speaker 2: And fucking Signetti goes, we don't just beat top twenty five teams, we beat the we beat their ass or something like that, Like he is calling shots the. 01:26:23 Speaker 1: Google me the well that show that shot was called I think before they got whooped by Notre Dame lest. 01:26:28 Speaker 2: Yeah, which is funny. And then because so many soone sweet that like never wrong, just early, because now they've had like five top ten teams that they've just mowed down over and over. So yeah, it's it's it's fucking wild to see. And Kurtzignetti is the perfect guy that if you're not a fan of just watching the storyline, he's the perfect guy for you to hate. Yeah, he's perfect. It's got You've got, You've got his antics and notions and sound bites along with Banana Mendoza's like unquestionably jovial, exciting, like just you could just tell he's just so happy to be there. And it's funny. 01:27:05 Speaker 1: Man. 01:27:06 Speaker 2: I've never heard the Heisman be called a team award before. I've never heard the MVP be called the team Award before. Fordana Mendoza hit that three or four times in his in his Heisman speech. Now, Drake may and Matthew Stafford, I've both heard them recognize the MVP as a team award, and I've and I could be totally off on this, I've never heard that before. It's like, this kid's really just making it all by the time. This kid is really what football should totally be about. 01:27:31 Speaker 1: Yeah. 01:27:31 Speaker 2: Yeah, And that's the shit that juices you up a little bit. 01:27:34 Speaker 1: I know. Miami's gonna obviously have an uphill battle. They're eight and a half point underdogs, gonna have to be a physical game. Like if they got him anywhere, it's at the line of scrimmage. I'm between Bain and Mesador and then on the offensive line, these size bro like getting the watch and see. 01:27:48 Speaker 2: And we were up yeah, tell me about that. 01:27:49 Speaker 1: We were up in sweet like we got to see him warming up pre game and everything else. But even up in a sweet and I'm sitting down there and it's the left tackle. I forget his number, maybe number seventy. I'm just like, look for his size. 01:28:00 Speaker 2: No, no, Miami. Yeah, he's gonna be a first round pick. He's like a top ten You talking about Oregon, No, I'm talking about Miami. 01:28:08 Speaker 1: Isaiah Isaa's like they have like a first rounder guy that's number sixty one. But just the size and the beef of this Miami football team is wild to see in person. I don't know if the Whites that are making of the white jerseys, the unis making them look massive, but like, this is a massive football team and they just they obviously have this skill. They have talent across the board, but what they have up front and that defense plays salty. Now salty, bro they will have to go up against Indiana, who has been surgical on both offense and defense. They are physical. I remember it's like they were talking about them going out to Oregon the first game, the defensive coordinators on Twitter responding back to people talking about how they're undersize and this that the other like, that's a physical team who plays very well with their eyes. They're always insanely prepared. Before that Oregon game, they that red zone defense only had only allowed twenty three as in their red zone across the entire season. Their offense got in the red zone like sixty eight times, but they only allowed twenty three attempts in their red zone and only allowed from those twenty three attempts six touchdowns. There hadn't been a team outside of like two games where they allowed more than one touchdown. Oregon got one or two there late in the game when the game was already done. 01:29:21 Speaker 2: And over. 01:29:22 Speaker 1: But the defense for Indiana's for real. Mendoza is a surgeon. They run the ball well, Bro, that running back, I'm forgetting his name, number eighth black black, Yeah, run by the Atlanta scrimmage. They push piles, he finds lanes like. They are physical, they celebrate hard. They just seem like they have the most fun that they know. They're out there whooping team's asses. And Mendoza puts the ball in perfect windows, Bro, in perfect spot. How about the back shoulders and Bro, every time I was having I'm like, there's that back door to number thirteen. 01:29:52 Speaker 2: Yes, sir, the album. When I was watching the film before we did ESPN and talk like talk about it, I'm watching like I I have to talk to you because I have no idea how you defend that play. How if you're in one o one and you're impressed coverage and you get a corner to turn his shoulders to the opposite side, to his back to the quarterback, There's no way to defend that play. Bro, And Fernando puts the ball in the perfect spart every time. And I'm watching from Vegas. I'm just sitting there being like I hope Will's like seeing this in real time because I was very vocal about like this is. 01:30:25 Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, open up every every time it's like there it goes again. Yeah, and it can be well contested. Sarat just has he has incredibly strong hands, bro, Like the dude still comes down with it. 01:30:37 Speaker 2: It's it's so impressed. 01:30:38 Speaker 4: That's from Saint He transferred to JMU. He's from Saint Francis, which is your school in Philly. They are declassifying from D one to D three. That's how kind of bad that they are. He transferred from there to I think JMU and then came with Signetty to Indiana. So he was like a D one double a guy and now is just routing up five. 01:31:00 Speaker 2: Dude and they have the ability like like is it Omar Cooper? 01:31:04 Speaker 4: Yeah? 01:31:05 Speaker 2: Like that kid. Also like they when you talk about the game of momentum, like a lot of these cats if they were to be at a jam U still or other schools. 01:31:13 Speaker 1: Like. 01:31:15 Speaker 2: Not having this to sustained success, the confidence you got to where Sautos every time I run this, go this back shoulder, go ball, he believes it is hard and fart He's gonna catch it every single time. And that to me really means something, is they have a player with confidence aka momentum that we joke about with Greg all the time, like it's it's so beautiful to see. And bro, did you see the clip You were at the game, but did you see the clip of the defensive end for Indiana putting that move on Isaiah World. Yea, it inside moved. Isaiah does a great job taking it, taking taking over. Then he goes back to the outside. And when Isaiah World turns, his shoulders spin back in and it's like Kevin Hart's comedy, specially when he talks about shack falling on the ground during basketball games. It is literally he's like, oh no, it literally falls hits his back and lays on his back for a second. And even tho way he gets up of the money, is he hurt like it is? It was like it's a great athletic play by that kid. But you can tell like he knows what he's doing from a rush standpoint, Like you can see he's like his shoulders are turned out. This is when I make the counter the second counter move back to the inside, and I'm watching it like my heart obviously goes out to Isaiah like he's you know, he's a homie. But that's one of those plays you look at and you're like, he just got you, buddy, and that is a that's just it's it was surgical, bro, what that dude was able to do. It was truly surgical where I'm like, yeah, I don't see a flaw anywhere, and it's crazy to see. 01:32:40 Speaker 1: Miamy's got to play a clean game too. I feel like the whole like the bad Boy manch or everything out. They had some bad penalties and they got this same they got Miami. Oh yeah, he got saved with one where they end up pushing Chambliss out of bounce. It should have been a roughing, but. 01:32:56 Speaker 2: Yeah, they could end up smoking his head on the bench because they had the little the shade covers and I saw it in real time, like, god, damn, that could get fucked up. For a second. Yeah, I was hoping, uh Trinidad would pull it out of his ass at the end. Man, it came close. 01:33:12 Speaker 1: I mean that that was a past interference at the end of the game on the clearly a past interference Like I was in there too, Like this would be so great to have this. 01:33:21 Speaker 2: I'll just be on the Old Miss bandwagon because I really was. But man, yeah, everything was going exactly how it needed to go for Old Miss to take care of that game. 01:33:31 Speaker 1: Four lead changes in the fourth quarter. Crazy the dude, it was nuts, man. And I like, as much as I'm like, dude, how are they allowing Ole Miss to just be in the position to throw a hell Mary like this? I would have loved to have seen another play because it's what a fifteen yard penalty? Yeah, to have seen another play just nuts. 01:33:50 Speaker 2: And then two days later, Trinidad Jamblis's appeal to be have a six year get denied after the day after and that just sucks man for him, Me Sam coming back all this and you're like, how awesome is that? And then he gets cut and you're like, hey, man, sorry about that. You're going to NOWT Championship and also you're done playing college football. It's like, what the fuck? Yeah, see a bud? That sucks? Man, that sucks. 01:34:12 Speaker 5: I have this tear talk loaded up for you guys. 01:34:15 Speaker 2: Should we have some tear talks question before we go into the tear talk. Yeah, tear talk for Mitch Carsley hashtag tear talk. 01:34:20 Speaker 4: Have you all have you guys seen this stuff surrounding the forty nine ers in their practice facility. 01:34:24 Speaker 2: Yes, bro, it was in the group chat last night. 01:34:26 Speaker 4: I sent it in. It is something to seriously think about. Again, I'm not like an electro whatever, yeah physicist. 01:34:35 Speaker 2: Oh good, we know we aren't either, right, but like you know my background, it is something. 01:34:39 Speaker 4: It is like the studies and shit that's been on. It's like, yo, if you actually think about it, where Niners are known as being the most injured team, it's all of these soft tissue tendon uh like injuries. Like if this is a real like thing, what the fuck are we doing? 01:34:55 Speaker 1: Bro? 01:34:55 Speaker 3: Yeah? 01:34:56 Speaker 2: I mean it is real, I like, like to me, to me, when I see that, I'm like, man, that fucking sucks. And I hope they have like some progressive thinking healthcare physicians on that team to where they make a big deal out of it to ownership because when I when I look at it, like with the EMFs and the five G all that stuff, like, I'm a firm believer, like you got to get as much of that off of you as possible. I think it really does mess up all sorts of things. 01:35:24 Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying, Like I don't know exactly what it does to you or what exactly happens, but like that's why I'm saying, if it is a real thing, and like the science and which it seems like it does back it up, it's like, you guys need to figure it out. 01:35:36 Speaker 2: Right, we don't know enough about it, but we know it's one hundred percent fact. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, absolutely. Like if you're like, hey, Taylor will break this down for us, we'd be like, really, we don't have a time, we'll be able to check out this Twitter three. Yeah exactly, But dude, there is a real thing about like grounding and having like I don't know if it's like magnetic stuff in your body because I'm just gonna sound it's all good. Hey, we just know it's undred fact. You always know what's a fact. You're right, Yeah, we're not gonna break down, but let me try to bring it down. Literally, we shouldn't break it down. 01:36:07 Speaker 4: I saw a tweet of the old long snapper for the Niners, like from years ago. His name like Tabor something else. He's like, look at the trees on the side of where the electro plane is, and then look at the trees across the street, the trees where the electro plane is, no leaves, everything's dead. The trees right across the street full of leaves. It's like, Yo, there's something happening right now. Not a scientist or whatever, but it's like, hey, with. 01:36:36 Speaker 2: A picture example, right in front of our eyes, yes, right in front of our faces, you can literally see which tree is happier. It's like that one, and it's like if that one's that fucked up? And the thing right next to is what we're talking about. 01:36:46 Speaker 5: Yeah, fact, all I needed to see was the electrical engineer with the EMF. 01:36:51 Speaker 2: Reader, Yeah, sitting out there outside yes two. 01:36:54 Speaker 5: Point three, is like, hey, that's max on this reading that a human should be around two point three of whatever the signal is. You don't want any more than that. And then he's on the practice field and it's like eight point four, eight point seven, eight point I'm like, okay, that's real. That's evidence, Yeah, that that's not safe. 01:37:14 Speaker 2: In regardless because it has been the last three years. Man, it's always been these crazy injuries. Who's the linebacker in the Super Bowl? Dre green Law just yea Achilles obviously George yesterday, But Trent had this soft tish. Everybody's been hurt achilles. Yes, bro, that is a good one too. That is a good one. 01:37:35 Speaker 4: Something like something to think about all of the A c ls and stuff that's happened out there. 01:37:40 Speaker 1: Like. 01:37:42 Speaker 2: That was a that was a contact injury though, but weaker could have been weaker. Yeah. Yeah, that's a good. That's a good. 01:37:50 Speaker 1: It's not like it has to happen in San Francisco at a home game. This is like these dudes are practicing on this field every. 01:37:58 Speaker 2: Day, every day. They're at this facility every day. Yeah. Man, but where do if you're in San Francisco, which Silicon Valley Tech, you know, the tech mecca of our our universe in the United States? Like, where do you go? If you're gonna move, if you're gonna be very serious about this and you're looking at as ownership for San Francisco, where. 01:38:18 Speaker 3: Do you go? I don't know. 01:38:21 Speaker 2: That's a good call. Get like a giant arrows tag and drape it over. Yeah, just put put those tags just literally all around the ball. 01:38:28 Speaker 4: Over the Just move your practice facility. I mean that's a billion dollar team, Like, just move it. 01:38:33 Speaker 2: I can't it's one hundred million dollar move I. 01:38:36 Speaker 4: Think they are a billion dollar team. 01:38:38 Speaker 2: That's we're talking about ten percent now, Ken. 01:38:41 Speaker 1: But I mean you can there's got there's got to be you got to come with the solution. Got to come with the solution. Can't you say these billionaires got to do this? 01:38:49 Speaker 4: But like I feel like if you are ownership and you see this, like oh ship, you're not going to like your team is seriously suffering because of problem. 01:39:01 Speaker 1: But if you don't want to hurt your bottom line. 01:39:03 Speaker 4: Which they which which the which the teams and like owners and people don't necessarily they care about that more than I guess you could say the health right. 01:39:11 Speaker 1: They care about the bottom line more. So it's much easier to be like, find a new training staff. Clearly these guys are getting hurt, or shrink staff, training staff. You know, you just you blame something that would be cheaper. 01:39:21 Speaker 2: Or find people that aren't on this podcast that are like this is one hundred percent true. People can be like that's one hundreercent false. We need Huberman to break this down. We need Huberman to That's what we need is Hubie Breca. You need Breca. His wife dm Me the other day asked Hi about UFC stuff, and I'm like, hey, where's that red light? Should I say anything about the red lay bad? I probably won't. 01:39:43 Speaker 5: Uh, just for time purposes, we could just do one Tier talk this week. 01:39:48 Speaker 2: This one. We can read it out. 01:39:50 Speaker 5: But I thought it'd be fun to pose the question to you guys, if you could only pick two teams to make the playoff next year, who would your two teams be? 01:40:00 Speaker 3: You want to read it? 01:40:01 Speaker 2: Okay, here we go. 01:40:02 Speaker 1: We got one from John O Steele John O Steele on X only two of the twelve teams that made it to the playoffs will make it again next year. Hashtag tier talk. We'd love to know what two teams he's thinking about. If you only got to pick two teams this year's playoff, which is just easy cop out? 01:40:20 Speaker 2: Indiana Miami? I see, I don't know. I mean, yeah, that's an easy cop out, no doubt. What about JMU It seems like they have the easiest path every year if they have a guaranteed spot in there. 01:40:29 Speaker 4: They lost, they lost, they lost all. 01:40:31 Speaker 2: Their status they always do do they always do, jam you always, and they lost their entire roster. This year they're gonna be it again. I honestly, that's a clean I'll say Miami and Texas Tech. I like Texas Tech. I'm not going to Miami with you. Do they have a quarterback? 01:40:52 Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. You've got Texas Tech. They're number one in the portal right now, like Miami is gonna be really good in the portal. Miami is by far the best team in the ACC. Like it's it's not even close. And Texas Tech is kind of operating that same capacity. Because you look at these other teams the conferences that they're in, the SEC and the Big Ten, you kind of see the parody that will be there next year in the college football season. I feel like Texas Tech's just gonna reload, Miami's gonna reload there by far and above the better, the best teams right now in their respective conferences. 01:41:22 Speaker 2: Texas Tech does that they have the number three transfer portal class as of right now storesby just transferred the more stores is a dog. And yeah, I agree with you in that that Big twelve in the ACC are the lesser of the two, the lesser than SEC Big ten. So yeah, I like that take. Because Miami. You say Miami, I'm thinking, yeah, but they haven't been back in forever blah blah blah. But it's like it is a twelve team playoff, and I think they clearly realize that, Like, we made it harder on ourselves than we have to be by losing the SMU and Louisville. Like next year they're gonna go in. My biggest question mark for Miami is who's your quarterback next year? 01:41:54 Speaker 4: Who are they going to have? They're losing almost like a lot of people measuging. 01:41:58 Speaker 2: I haven't seen a whole lot like I hope of Miami fans watching this right now, being like, because I'm not familiar with what their transferportal looks like right now. So if somebody in the comments can let me know, that'd be awesome, because it seems like those are the two clearest passes. Also, do we keep forgetting in the a SEC who's running who's run that for twelve years? And that's Clemson. 01:42:17 Speaker 4: They're losing they don't have a quarterback. 01:42:20 Speaker 2: Yeah, but I think it's so easy for us to like, oh, Clemson had a bad year when they have had expectations to like win the a SEC. Probably be in the position Miami's in right now to be like, okay, they're done, and it's like dabbo regardless of what you know, JP's biases flood under us. He's a good coach and so there there is that, like there is Miami and then also Florida State, and there's also Clemson. So you don't know. Yeah, yeah, but I think they I think, uh, Texas Tech for sure. I love the idea Texas Tech. Let's hit another one, just hit another. I gotta pee real bad. 01:42:55 Speaker 1: But yeah, okay, So doctor Boozler is Indiana story the best story in all of sports. If they win, I'm thinking so hashtag to your talk, I feel like we broke that down. I would be fully on board doctor with Doctor Boozler. 01:43:10 Speaker 2: Yeah, I think a documentary comes out immediately followed by a major motion picture. 01:43:15 Speaker 1: Doctor Steve here. Who is Matt Ryan going to select as the next head coach for the Atlanta Falcons? Hashtag to your talk, This is r s D. 01:43:23 Speaker 2: Four four four four on X. Not not a real doctor, more of a dentist. Yeah. I don't know. I'm not I'm not savvy in the NFL head coach market. I know that horror ball is in there, and if lafor goes in. Apparently he's number one. Now, Yeah, that's what I don't have a full pulse on the coachingacter. I know Matt Naggi is getting a lot of looks. Kevin Kevin Stefanski, John har Arthur Smith is in that Robert Sawa. Everyone seems like he's gonna get another shot at it. Uh Kubiak, Like, there's a lot of great names out. Get Kubiak, Go get Kubiak. Well are you if you're Kubiak and you're an offensive minded coach, do you want to go take the Atlanta Falcon's job with fair? Yeah? You can't put together two good knees between your two quarterbacks? Yeah, that's very fair. No disrespect to the boys. Like there's been a lot of injuries. 01:44:18 Speaker 5: There's been rumors. I don't know if you'll have heard anything about Kirby Smart want to maybe flirt with the NFL. 01:44:24 Speaker 2: Yeah, I see, I saw Ryan Day, Kirby Smart and also Uh Sarkisian are all like very interested in the NFL because there's I'm big on the Twitter spaces, my Michigan Twitter spaces right now, and the lore behind it is like something's going on behind closed doors at Ohio State, and someone tweeted that and then pulled a like from a couple of Ohio State players liking that tweet, which is adding to the allegendness of Ryan Day head head of the NFL. I obviously want to beat Ohio States asks every single year. I think it is a catastrophic move for Ryan Day. I think he could be successful in the NFL. But I think bro, like, you're going to be on a top five program every year. Like you guys. You guys have money, you have the recruiting classes, whide receivers, think wide receiver, you like, grass isn't always greener. 01:45:15 Speaker 4: I don't know what the payscale is for coaches in the NFL, but I feel like you can make a ship ton more money as a coach in college because I feel like I think Kirby Day and like I think Sark, they may be close to like that tens of millions per year. 01:45:32 Speaker 2: They're both I think they're both above twelve. I could see it. 01:45:35 Speaker 4: I feel like that's way more money than you'd be making as an NFL coach. I don't know, I could be wrong. 01:45:40 Speaker 2: I don't know either, I really don't. I just feel like the ambition. I can see that from coach Day, Like he's a younger guy in the game, right, Like it isn't Ohio State his first like head coaching job. Yeah he was, he was there. 01:45:50 Speaker 4: I think he has a minute. I don't know if he was ever Yeah, but he. 01:45:54 Speaker 2: He came over and Urban Maye. He was like head coaching waiting with erb Meyer. 01:45:57 Speaker 1: Yeah, it's been a big you know, it's in his big job right nar as his own journey and everything else. I could see him wanting to jump to the NFL. 01:46:05 Speaker 2: But to go off of those three names Kirby Smart, Ryan Day, and Sark, the three names that I've heard that you were just talking about. I think if anyone is going to try to take that step, Sark totally. He's the guy. Kirby like, Bro, you're gonna have a statue. Ryan, You're gonna have a statue like you guys have got that. Sark is still in the He always has great teams and he's always he's I think he's a phenomenal head coach. But he hasn't won the national championship. There's box. He hasn't checks that these two guys have. It's like Bro don't try to be a guy that does everything. I would sit with them in a room and be like, you don't need to do all this, Like this is the perfect world for you to stay in, because you could be in the arguments with the Kurtzignettes and the Nick Sabans. Yeah, yeah, yeah. 01:46:47 Speaker 1: Or here's a tear talk right here. Andrew Douglas at Dougie twenty four to twenty four twoos A nineteen LSU vers twenty twenty five Indiana. Who you taking and why? I will say, I think it's a little bizarre thinking that this in a football team's the greatest football team of all time? Have you seen the win by point differential? Yeah, Indiana has more. He has a higher point differential win than the two. 01:47:08 Speaker 4: Indiana's average win is like thirty one points, and I think LSU's was like twenty six. 01:47:14 Speaker 2: Yeah, something like that. Like there are that we now have enough of a sample size because it was also, Hey, LSU beat five top ten teams blah blah blah bah teamin nat Championship and now Indiana has also done that. And in this world we live in, anybody who wins the national Championship will beat five top ten teams, you know. 01:47:33 Speaker 5: And the twenty nineteen LSU team. I think the only metric that really brought down their average on that was the Texas game, their season opener, where they won by like two points. 01:47:42 Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, bro, we're talking Joe Burrow, I know, mar Justin Jefferson. This this question last week was not near as interesting to me as it is this week. And I'm sure based on what I think how the nat Championships can go, it's gonna get a lot more interesting at the end of this week. 01:48:00 Speaker 4: Now, the teams that next week, the teams that that LSU team played like there their game against Alabama, Like you look at that game, I think there's twenty NFL starters who played in that game, like playing in the SEC back then before the Big Ten is taken over these last before I think is I think it's not. It's not apples to apples, dude. 01:48:21 Speaker 2: I don't don't disagree with you, but when you use the argument of this Alabama team had this many drafted guys, that's where I fall back on. If I'm going to fight for Indiana, it's like, well, we have to see how many Alabama guys that they just bet by their biggest loss since two thousand and whatever. How many of those guys get drafted. 01:48:37 Speaker 4: You know, because Indiana's playing like Purdue, they're playing Maryland, They're playing Oh, you're we're all on the same We're on the same boat. 01:48:48 Speaker 2: But I wouldn't use Indiana and Maryland. You guys speak for yourselves. I'm not in the same boat as you guys. I do think Big Ten it's like hard stop, they're the best conference. Yeah, but I'm if they win the next championship again. Three the last three national championships have all been Big ten, and they've all been by different teams. I wonder what the other stat on that is. And I know, like the little little biasness I'm just saying, like that is clearly to me, Like right now, Big ten runs College Football Tour. I think so much so that next year we see the top twenty five will start to shift that a little bit. Because the reason why people are so heavy on the SEC is like, look how many top twenty five teams we have preseason and it's like okay, but you know when it all kind of ends up, it's like these teams should have been a weight rated higher. 01:49:31 Speaker 1: I'm just saying, Mitch, trying to uh talk about the lack of opponent that indian is playing, I think is you don't used Purdue merilyd Like in the quarterfinals last week, Indiana was the only squad that had beaten three teams currently left in the quarterfinal to Ohio State, which is the best team in the country beat them in the Big Ten Championship. Obviously, Miami just beat them. Oregon twice killed Oregon this second time. 01:50:00 Speaker 4: I'm more so saying for the point differential part, Yeah, I'm not like, I'm just saying, Okay, That's what I'm saying, is like that that point differential could be so high because they're beating Perdue fifty sixty three type thing. 01:50:14 Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm. 01:50:17 Speaker 1: I'm just I guess the seat that I'm sitting in right now, I'm not trying to already like crown them in such a way to where we met. We're making all these hypothetical arguments to where I'm almost like trying to tear down or go against what Indiana is doing, you know what i mean, Because I'm I'm enjoying watching their sea Like when the guy's like, who's winning, I'm thinking in my head like it's twenty nineteen l' she was, Oh, that's crazy. 01:50:39 Speaker 2: You want to hate on this Indiana team. No, I don't think you're there. I think we need to see the final result of this Indiana team. Yeah, you can't. Ever, you can't guarantees Miami, I said earlier, early two thousands Miami team. I'm thinking to myself, ninety seven Nebraska ninety four didn't win the next ninety four ninety five than ask a team in the nineties. 01:51:01 Speaker 1: I'm just saying the ninety seven Nebraska, Okay, but just to be clear, who won the NST CHAPI won that National champions yep. But in all the arguments when people argue the early two thousands of Miami team, it's always the early twousands of Miami team in like ninety seven Nebraska. As far as like ass beatings margin twenty nineteen LSU's another one. They use an Alabama team. 01:51:18 Speaker 2: And there's twenty eleven Alabama or something like that. Yeah, they use Alabama those because they were nasty. I mean, yeah, yeah, I think we need to see a rap on this, and then there's gonna be a world where you break it down. And I love the fact It's so crazy how the media works, because we walked into these playoffs being like, well, Indiana, they haven't played a whole lot of people, it's gonna be the same thing, one and done type of situation. And now they mop Alabama, they beat Ohio State, they mop Alabama, and they be Who's who? They just beat Oregon and it's like, is this the greatest team of all time? After a month's span, we're now like, is this the greatest team to ever walk the earth? So it's kind of nuts. Should we get into if we get out of here? 01:52:00 Speaker 1: Yeah, let's get out of here. You see Tomorrow and Busting with the Boys in Scheante David Tomorrow on Busting with the Boys via zoom.
