<v Speaker 2>simply want to just be able to relax tomorrow night.
<v Speaker 2>So I'm doing the week in review tonight and i'll
<v Speaker 2>cover SmackDown on my thoughts on SmackDown anyway, I'll give
<v Speaker 2>you a little bit more of a recap on the
<v Speaker 2>Monday night raw events and where we're headed, and also
<v Speaker 2>of course as Clash and Paris comes to us in
<v Speaker 2>just a couple of weeks, there's a lot to unpack
<v Speaker 2>there as well. But first, welcome to the show. This

<v Speaker 2>All right, Well, there's a lot of talk lately before
<v Speaker 2>I get into the specifics, and you guys, by the way,
<v Speaker 2>can go listen to Amanda from the UK did a
<v Speaker 2>great job of just breaking down SmackDown, giving her thoughts
<v Speaker 2>on it from last night. So before I get into
<v Speaker 2>that and get into a little bit of moneyet raw,
<v Speaker 2>there has been and maybe it's my algorithm on social media,
<v Speaker 2>I'm not sure, but there's been this chatter, this consistent
<v Speaker 2>chatter that I've been seeing on social media about WWE's
<v Speaker 2>current product. And there's the typical criticisms about, oh, they
<v Speaker 2>don't know what they're doing. It's pretty like do you
<v Speaker 2>hear that? No matter what time of year or what's
<v Speaker 2>going on. But it's been consistent now for a couple
<v Speaker 2>of weeks, and the general criticism I'm getting is that
<v Speaker 2>the show feels directionless, it feels soulless. Another really bad
<v Speaker 2>smack Down? Are we watching the same product? I'm not
<v Speaker 2>here to blow smoke up WWE's ass. Quite the contrary.
<v Speaker 2>If you guys have heard me over the last several years,
<v Speaker 2>you know that I'm probably more nitpicky and critical than
<v Speaker 2>most to the detriment of my listeners, but it is
<v Speaker 2>what it is. I just don't feel like WWE is
<v Speaker 2>at a really low point right now. I don't know
<v Speaker 2>what people are getting at when they talk about this,
<v Speaker 2>and maybe some of the people out there who are
<v Speaker 2>saying this can inform me enlighten me here, because I'm
<v Speaker 2>not sure what is going on that's exceptionally bad right now. Sure,
<v Speaker 2>I mean, it's not what it used to be just
<v Speaker 2>a couple of years ago, when Roman Rains was running
<v Speaker 2>smack Down and we had the bloodline that was actually
<v Speaker 2>an interesting story. We had Sammy Zain infiltrating the bloodline
<v Speaker 2>that made it ultra interesting. Sure, yeah, I mean you
<v Speaker 2>can't always be at a high point. It's impossible. But
<v Speaker 2>I don't know what is as of late really triggering
<v Speaker 2>the dislike for the product as a whole. I guess
<v Speaker 2>it's that the big stars. When the big stars aren't there,
<v Speaker 2>people again all up in arms. I've seen criticism about
<v Speaker 2>brock Lesner by not being there, But what did you
<v Speaker 2>guys expect with brock Lesner? Did you see his first
<v Speaker 2>run in WWE from twenty twelve when he returned to
<v Speaker 2>the company, Did anybody really believe he's going to be here,
<v Speaker 2>I mean, in any respect regularly. No, He's making Roman
<v Speaker 2>Rerains look like a full timer, you know, with brock
<v Speaker 2>Leser's schedule. I mean, brock Leser came back a couple
<v Speaker 2>weeks ago. We haven't seen or heard from him since
<v Speaker 2>they paid him a whole bunch of money to be there.
<v Speaker 2>So WWE is going to be clearly milking that with
<v Speaker 2>the John Cena attack for a while. It very well
<v Speaker 2>could be that Brock does appear in Paris, although I
<v Speaker 2>doubt it, it's possible that Brock does show up there
<v Speaker 2>and screw John Cena. It's very possible. Right to lead
<v Speaker 2>to the next event, which is going to be a
<v Speaker 2>September pl to counter aw's all out pay per view.
<v Speaker 2>It is going to take place on September twentieth in Indianapolis, Indiana.
<v Speaker 2>It does coincide with aw's all out pay per view scheduled.
<v Speaker 2>That is going to be a bleed from the I'm
<v Speaker 2>looking at it now the Scotia Bank Arena in Toronto.
<v Speaker 2>So this is people are speculating it's bad Blood. It
<v Speaker 2>very well could be. I'm really just I don't need
<v Speaker 2>more pls I've been on that tirade many times. I
<v Speaker 2>don't need more. More is not better, but they think
<v Speaker 2>it is. And that means though that we could get
<v Speaker 2>a Brock Lesner John Cena match at that pl in
<v Speaker 2>Indianapolis on September twentieth, the Ergo Brock could be at
<v Speaker 2>Clash in Paris or the following SmackDown whenever Johnsena's next
<v Speaker 2>scheduled appearance is. But dates are running thin on John.
<v Speaker 2>What do we have ten dates left? Eleven? Maybe like
<v Speaker 2>we're getting to the very end, the very end. And
<v Speaker 2>I'm curious as to how everybody thinks about John Cena's
<v Speaker 2>run for the last year now. The heel run does
<v Speaker 2>certainly sour a lot of people's view of this last year.
<v Speaker 2>It without question ended up not working out. It was
<v Speaker 2>not the best work of anybody. I still, regardless of
<v Speaker 2>the outcome, completely agree with their decision. Even knowing what
<v Speaker 2>the outcome would be, I still would have done it
<v Speaker 2>so we could say we did it. But I'm curious
<v Speaker 2>to hear what everyone else feels so far. If John
<v Speaker 2>cen has run were to end now, how would you
<v Speaker 2>feel about it? For the last eight months since John
<v Speaker 2>Cena returned the Netflix debut and then off to the races.
<v Speaker 2>Right here we go, John Cena is now eight months
<v Speaker 2>in four to go ten dates, not much left brock
<v Speaker 2>Lesner's next opponent presumably, and then could it be Edge?
<v Speaker 2>Do I dare say Edge? Somehow? I keep pushing it.
<v Speaker 2>Edge would be the perfect final opponent for John Cena.
<v Speaker 2>I think, can somehow course Adam Copeland to come back
<v Speaker 2>for a just even a special here, regardless of his
<v Speaker 2>contract status. Do some kind of exemption. I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>Whatever it takes. Whatever it takes to get Adam Copeland
<v Speaker 2>to face John Cena in December, would to me be
<v Speaker 2>worth it. Of course, that's me money, that's not my own,
<v Speaker 2>which is incredibly easy to do. I have a problem
<v Speaker 2>spending my own money, much less people's money. I don't
<v Speaker 2>even know. So alrighty, that was just a quick little
<v Speaker 2>thought here in the open, and let's dive into SmackDown.
<v Speaker 2>And it opened with the MFT sorry and Solo Sokoa
<v Speaker 2>leading the group there, and he said they run smack Down.
<v Speaker 2>Solo boasted that they stomped out Sammy's Ain, Jimmy Usso
<v Speaker 2>and Jacob Fatu, and he started to make a challenge
<v Speaker 2>to anyone backstage, but he was interrupted by Sammy z
<v Speaker 2>Ain and Solo remained in the ring while the MFT
<v Speaker 2>headed a ringside. Zaye said everyone had heard him talk
<v Speaker 2>about becoming a world champion, and he said that he
<v Speaker 2>had beaten russevn Raw he may not have been in
<v Speaker 2>the World Heavyweight Championship match at Clash in Paris, and
<v Speaker 2>he said he actually felt liberated. He said that he
<v Speaker 2>felt he he's been spitting his wheels and now could
<v Speaker 2>go back to doing other things he set out to do.
<v Speaker 2>He thanked Solo and said the US Championship is another
<v Speaker 2>title that he hasn't held in WWE, and Solo said
<v Speaker 2>that Zayin wouldn't hold it soon and told him to
<v Speaker 2>get off his show and out of his ring.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Again, people just crossing brands for no reason. I will
<v Speaker 2>continue to point that out. Yes. Zaine then told Solo
<v Speaker 2>he's officially a SmackDown wrestler and again, how that now?
<v Speaker 2>I said that this is something I'll continue to point out. Yes,
<v Speaker 2>but also how did that even happen? Is there a trade?
<v Speaker 2>Why did that happen? How? You know? Stud to being
<v Speaker 2>like okay, fine, they're explaining as a SmackDown wrestler now,
<v Speaker 2>which I appreciate, but also how did that happen? Was
<v Speaker 2>there a trade? Is anyone going to explain this? However,
<v Speaker 2>Zain said he's coming for the So for Solo and
<v Speaker 2>the US title, and Solo threw a punch at Zaine
<v Speaker 2>and that's when the brawl broke out. Jimmy USSO comes
<v Speaker 2>out to help Talatanga knocked him down, set up for
<v Speaker 2>a choke slam. Jacob Vatu comes to the ring and
<v Speaker 2>helped clear the three Heels from the ring. And that's
<v Speaker 2>as I mean, there is no tried and true method.
<v Speaker 2>There is nothing more scientifically proven. Then if an even
<v Speaker 2>number of Heels and babyfaces are in the open of
<v Speaker 2>a show, or really in any segment of the show,
<v Speaker 2>and they clear each other out, that the general manager
<v Speaker 2>or commissioner, whoever is in charge that night, they are
<v Speaker 2>contractually obligated to come out and make a tag team
<v Speaker 2>match per Teddy Long's rules. It just without fail, and
<v Speaker 2>it happened here with Nick All this. He comes out
<v Speaker 2>and it makes a six man tag team match that
<v Speaker 2>would be the main event of SmackDown. Again. Now, I'm
<v Speaker 2>not angry with it's it's just something that is there's
<v Speaker 2>nothing more pro wrestling than that. That is quintessential pro
<v Speaker 2>wrestling logic. Alrighty, so zaying again, I guess he's a
<v Speaker 2>part of SmackDown now, and it is kind of lame
<v Speaker 2>that a guy like Sammy Zane that they are seemingly
<v Speaker 2>still laying the foundation to chase the world title probably
<v Speaker 2>later in the year or towards the beginning of next year,
<v Speaker 2>with the world rumble that the fact that he's traded
<v Speaker 2>to SmackDown apparently traded, Did he migrate, did he did
<v Speaker 2>he use osmosis? How did he become a SmackDown wrestler.
<v Speaker 2>The fact though, that regardless of how it happened to
<v Speaker 2>trade or what otherwise, the fact that WWE is not
<v Speaker 2>making a big deal out of it is a big deal.
<v Speaker 2>The guy is supposed to be this underdog, he's one
<v Speaker 2>of your biggest babyfaces in the company, one of and
<v Speaker 2>again it seems like you're laying the foundation work for
<v Speaker 2>a potential world title run and you're making his move
<v Speaker 2>to SmackDown completely bland, tasteless. They should make a bigger
<v Speaker 2>deal of it. But all right, So Alexa Bliss comes
<v Speaker 2>out and she was accompanied by Charlotte Flair, so Alexa
<v Speaker 2>took on Piper Niven. This match went seven and a
<v Speaker 2>half minutes with Alexa beating Piper Niven as Bliss dropped
<v Speaker 2>down from the rope, Look took out Alba Fire and
<v Speaker 2>then Bliss avoided a charging Nibvin and rolled her up
<v Speaker 2>to get the three count. Afterwards, the referees raised Bliss's hand,
<v Speaker 2>Fire super kicked Bliss, and then Flair beat down Green
<v Speaker 2>with chops, but then Niven blindsided Flair and eventually the
<v Speaker 2>Heels got the better of Alexa and Charlotte to stand
<v Speaker 2>tall as Albafire hits her finish on Bliss and then
<v Speaker 2>Niven splashed her from the ropes. So this to me
<v Speaker 2>was was was fine. I mean, the chemistry continues with
<v Speaker 2>Alexa and Charlotte, certainly a better segment this week than
<v Speaker 2>last week's forced kind of at times cringe worthy birthday
<v Speaker 2>celebration for Alexi, and the fact that Piper Niven lost
<v Speaker 2>but got her heat back with Chelsea Green was how
<v Speaker 2>you do wrestling, right. The Babyfaces prevail, but they didn't.
<v Speaker 2>It's not a total satisfactory win because they got their
<v Speaker 2>heat back by getting beat down after and now you
<v Speaker 2>want to see Charlotte and Alexa get the revenge. Even
<v Speaker 2>though they won the match, or the Alexa won the match,
<v Speaker 2>you still want to see them get revenge because of
<v Speaker 2>the actions after the match. And so it's just against
<v Speaker 2>just typical psychology here. I think it's fine. And Chelsea
<v Speaker 2>Green and Piper and Niven have never been more relevant
<v Speaker 2>than they are now. They really haven't. They're a great
<v Speaker 2>duo as well. And you know what, the more that
<v Speaker 2>Alexa and Charlotte stay together, which who knows how long
<v Speaker 2>it's gonna last. It's not a long term gig. They
<v Speaker 2>are single stars that are temporarily together under the guise
<v Speaker 2>of a tag team. But I will say when things
<v Speaker 2>like this happen, when you have two single stars, big
<v Speaker 2>single stars come together for brief time to win the
<v Speaker 2>women's tag team titles. As cursed as those titles are,
<v Speaker 2>there is a benefit to having this type of scenario,
<v Speaker 2>and that is that it adds legitimacy to the tag
<v Speaker 2>team division. It adds star power to a desperately needed
<v Speaker 2>division in need of star power. So that is the
<v Speaker 2>upside here that you have a legitimate team I guess
<v Speaker 2>legitimate as legitimate as a tag team can be in
<v Speaker 2>twenty twenty five. Really they're just single stars slap together.
<v Speaker 2>But fine, they're a team, and they are two big
<v Speaker 2>stars that the company have in the women's side of
<v Speaker 2>things that are coming together to carry those women's tag
<v Speaker 2>team titles to add value to them and the division
<v Speaker 2>as a whole. So it's really a win win win
<v Speaker 2>for a win for Alexa, win for Charlotte, and a
<v Speaker 2>win for WWE's tag team division on the women's side.
<v Speaker 2>So okay, backstage, Nick Alta stood between Women's Champion Tiffany
<v Speaker 2>Stratton and Jade and eventually stopped them from bickering. I
<v Speaker 2>really don't like this is something I can do without.
<v Speaker 2>This is something I could do without for the women's
<v Speaker 2>side of things. That there's the way that a lot
<v Speaker 2>of matches have happened over the last I don't know
<v Speaker 2>how many decades of women's wrestling, we've seen them bickering
<v Speaker 2>and just trying to talk over each other and then
<v Speaker 2>a dude has to step in and be like ladies, ladies, ladies,
<v Speaker 2>and it's almost just it's a stereotype that are these
<v Speaker 2>women really doing this? Backstage? You know, it's a bit
<v Speaker 2>childish of an approach, is my point, and it's an
<v Speaker 2>overused approach and it's not a good look for anybody
<v Speaker 2>talking over each other again, bickering like children. I not
<v Speaker 2>my style of introducing a segment with the women involved,
<v Speaker 2>and that has happened way too much. But Ni Jack
<v Speaker 2>shows up the adult in the room, I guess, and
<v Speaker 2>took issue with Jade wanting a rematch. Jack suggested that
<v Speaker 2>Jade fall back and let her take care of Stratton
<v Speaker 2>and said she wouldn't fall back for anyone. That's all.
<v Speaker 2>Jade said, Yeah, that's it. Jade, Stratton said the result
<v Speaker 2>of her facing Jack's would always be the same, said,
<v Speaker 2>if Jax had to prove it before she has to
<v Speaker 2>prove it to Jade, they both should bring it. And
<v Speaker 2>that was that. Okay, So Tiffany and Jade and Ni
<v Speaker 2>Jack's are entangled in a a threesome of sorts in
<v Speaker 2>wrestling land anyway. Okay, So Phraxium and let's see Carmalo
<v Speaker 2>Hayes and the that's it. That's what it was is
<v Speaker 2>the next match here. This went to twelve minutes and
<v Speaker 2>twenty seconds with Carmelo and the Miz beating Phraxium. Now
<v Speaker 2>the finish was Fraser had Hayes pinned after hitting him
<v Speaker 2>with a Phoenix splash. Mis jumped off Fraser's back to
<v Speaker 2>break up the pin and then hit Axiom with the DDT.
<v Speaker 2>On the way down, Hayes hit Fraser with a cutter
<v Speaker 2>after both men had been on the top rope. Hayes
<v Speaker 2>went to the rope, but Miz tagged himself in after
<v Speaker 2>he was going to go for nothing but Net and
<v Speaker 2>then Miz hit Fraser with the skull crushing finale and
<v Speaker 2>got the victory. So Carmelo in the mi is again
<v Speaker 2>beat Phraxium, Nathan Fraser in Axiom and again tag team match. Good.
<v Speaker 2>This is this is a very tag team heavy show,
<v Speaker 2>and that's okay, you can have that once in a while.
<v Speaker 2>I also like the fact that you have the Mis
<v Speaker 2>doing something relevant instead of just being kind of a
<v Speaker 2>default backstage agent for w W at this point in
<v Speaker 2>his career. And uh, does it put Carmelo and Miss
<v Speaker 2>in a tag team title scenario? Potentially? Baby, But the
<v Speaker 2>story here is tension between the Miss and Carmelo, which
<v Speaker 2>was yeah, I mean you had the Miss be an
<v Speaker 2>opportunitist here, spoil nothing but Net and then have him
<v Speaker 2>come in and get the victory. Very heelish, so all right. Backstage,
<v Speaker 2>Keana James approached Tiffany advised her to get some back up,
<v Speaker 2>and James said there was no one better for her
<v Speaker 2>than Julia, and Stratton said she's a champion already and
<v Speaker 2>doesn't need backup, and James said that if Stratton isn't
<v Speaker 2>with them, then she's against them and spoke about how
<v Speaker 2>Julia could take the women's championship meechin yes she still
<v Speaker 2>works there. Showed up after Stratton walked away and said
<v Speaker 2>that if James had taken her calls, she'd know that
<v Speaker 2>Julia's had she had Julia next, and Keana said that
<v Speaker 2>would be under advisement and walked away. McIntyre then comes
<v Speaker 2>out for his promo and he said people had been
<v Speaker 2>asking him all week why did he claim or kick
<v Speaker 2>Cody's head through the front of the broadcast table. He
<v Speaker 2>said it was so violent he felt everyone needed to
<v Speaker 2>see it again, which is funny. He then claimed that
<v Speaker 2>he did not attack Cody, and he he asked Testatur
<v Speaker 2>about a medical update. When Testator said there wasn't one,
<v Speaker 2>McIntyre questioned if someone from management was hiding it because
<v Speaker 2>he had taken out their Golden Boy, and McIntyre said
<v Speaker 2>he doesn't hate Cody, he feels sorry for him. He
<v Speaker 2>said Cody cares about what the fans and management think.
<v Speaker 2>He said he was like that five years ago, but
<v Speaker 2>he evolved and said he realized that the fans forget
<v Speaker 2>about them once they retire, and said he does it
<v Speaker 2>for his family in the big paycheck, but Cody needs
<v Speaker 2>the WWE championship. I mean, I think there's a lot
<v Speaker 2>of truth into what mcatire saying here. I mean, he
<v Speaker 2>absolutely does it for his family in the paycheck. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>who the hell is not there for the money. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>of course you are. But he asked who Cody is
<v Speaker 2>without his story. Mcatyre once again said he didn't attack Cody.
<v Speaker 2>He said Cody attacked him and recalled Cody slamming his
<v Speaker 2>face into the ring post and then clearing the broadcast
<v Speaker 2>table after the match, and said Cody was going to
<v Speaker 2>put him to the table and take him out, and
<v Speaker 2>he said he just defended himself and said he's not
<v Speaker 2>the bad guy, but he will do very violent things
<v Speaker 2>if he's provoked. And a great line he said here
<v Speaker 2>was if you provoked me I'm the real nightmare, and
<v Speaker 2>mctyre said that before tossing it down and told Cody
<v Speaker 2>to get better soon. So he again another really good,
<v Speaker 2>strong performance here from mctyre, As it is every time
<v Speaker 2>he touched the microphone. He is just the quintessential polished
<v Speaker 2>wrestler up and down from entering that never has a
<v Speaker 2>bad match to just his promos are so solid. Are
<v Speaker 2>they a plus plus? No, but they are. They're so
<v Speaker 2>far above a lot of the guys currently working that
<v Speaker 2>he is in the top tier. I believe he can
<v Speaker 2>hang with nearly everyone on the microphone. He still can
<v Speaker 2>hold the championship and you could still build the company
<v Speaker 2>temporarily around him for the next few years. He's not
<v Speaker 2>the youngest guy in the world, but he's proven that
<v Speaker 2>he's you know, he's fairly durable when it comes to injury.
<v Speaker 2>He's not out all the time. A guy you can
<v Speaker 2>rely on doesn't get the company in trouble and so on.
<v Speaker 2>And I love him calling out Cody and saying that
<v Speaker 2>who is he without his story and claiming that he's
<v Speaker 2>just he acted in self defense, which again is true.
<v Speaker 2>There's nothing he said he that's a lie. They are
<v Speaker 2>all inconvenient facts for people trying to support Cody. And
<v Speaker 2>again the way it's framed, of course, they're trying to
<v Speaker 2>make Mcatyre the heel here, and I'm fine with him
<v Speaker 2>remaining the heel. I'm not suggesting they should turn you
<v Speaker 2>Tormack to our baby face by any means. I think
<v Speaker 2>Drew is doing a fantastic job. It continues to to
<v Speaker 2>be a heel whatever. This is, this truth telling machine,
<v Speaker 2>and it's just so fun to watch, so Cody out
<v Speaker 2>there again. I think it's also why people are possibly complaining,
<v Speaker 2>is Cody wasn't there and John Cena and all the whores.
<v Speaker 2>Brock Lesner, Hey, you can't have all the big guys
<v Speaker 2>all the time. I know people just expect it because
<v Speaker 2>we're spoiled children as wrestling fans. But I'm more than
<v Speaker 2>willing to accept time off from big stars. I have
<v Speaker 2>accustomed myself to that. And I think, you know, perhaps
<v Speaker 2>today's younger generation just wants everything at this moment, all
<v Speaker 2>the time, at the and it's just, you know, unfortunately,
<v Speaker 2>you're setting yourself up for disappointment if you think like that.
<v Speaker 2>So okay. Byron Saxson interviewed the Street Profits, who were
<v Speaker 2>with b Fab backstage, and Saxon brought up their match
<v Speaker 2>with DIY and asked if they felt they'd be in
<v Speaker 2>line for ant of the tag team tuttle shot with
<v Speaker 2>a win. Solo Sokoa and his group showed up. He
<v Speaker 2>took issue with the Profits going after the titles and
<v Speaker 2>said that if the Profits want the tag team titles,
<v Speaker 2>they would have to run through him and his crew.
<v Speaker 2>The Profits blew him off, and apparently they still want
<v Speaker 2>the smoke. I mean, it's been so long, I mean,
<v Speaker 2>why don't they just get the smoke. They've been after
<v Speaker 2>this smoke for how long? Now? Go get it? Yeah, Okay,
<v Speaker 2>you know we've heard you. We know what you want.
<v Speaker 2>Go find it. Hunt this this mysterious smoke down, capture
<v Speaker 2>it right, put it in a cage. You've been after
<v Speaker 2>it for so long, you know. At this point itsive.
<v Speaker 2>It's like Bigfoot. I'm being a facetious jerk, but you
<v Speaker 2>get my point. I mean, the Street Profits are a
<v Speaker 2>team that WWE doesn't know what the f to do
<v Speaker 2>with them. They're talented, they know, they have larger than

<v Speaker 2>do something. They are stuck in time, frozen in time.
<v Speaker 2>We need to pull them out, or WWE needs to
<v Speaker 2>pull them out. And again, I well, what's the solution.

<v Speaker 2>them separate. It's time maybe the draft, if that happens

<v Speaker 2>took on diy. This match went nine and a half minutes,
<v Speaker 2>with the Street Profits getting the victory after Dawkins hit

<v Speaker 2>the top rope frog splash and Dawkins covered Champa and
<v Speaker 2>got the victory again. The matchup quality is fine. It's fun,
<v Speaker 2>it's it's high flying, it's fast paced, and that's all
<v Speaker 2>that's what you're looking for in this type of tag
<v Speaker 2>team match. With these guys, it's just a matter of
<v Speaker 2>we're only entertained by the in ring. We have no
<v Speaker 2>actual connection with any emotional connection with any of the
<v Speaker 2>wrestlers in the ring. That's the bigger problem. Okay, So
<v Speaker 2>another backstage chegment again with Carmela Hayes interrupting a conversation
<v Speaker 2>that Nick All does haves with MotorCity machine guns. But
<v Speaker 2>let's continue Alisair. Black interrupted Byron Saxon's interview with Our Truth,
<v Speaker 2>who was happy that John Cena was back. Black asked
<v Speaker 2>about Damian Priest and said that with friends like Truth,
<v Speaker 2>who needs enemies. Truth asked him how he could tell

<v Speaker 2>the chants I don't understand. We're back in that season
<v Speaker 2>of sports chants and a homegrown chance that I have
<v Speaker 2>no idea what they're saying or why or again just
<v Speaker 2>this is coming from a boring US fan, admittedly, the

<v Speaker 2>cheer or boo, mainly because I'm forty years old and

<v Speaker 2>the Miz and Alisa Black, as I just mentioned, takes
<v Speaker 2>on our truth, not Ron killings, our truth, right, We
<v Speaker 2>got the tag team main event here. This match went
<v Speaker 2>eleven minutes with Jacob, Fatu, Jimmy Uso, and Sammy Zain
<v Speaker 2>taking on Solo, Jason, Matteo and Togoloa. Of course, Talatanga
<v Speaker 2>is on the outside and the finish of this saw
<v Speaker 2>Mateo breaking up the pin. Jacob cleared Loa from the
<v Speaker 2>ring and then hit a top rope splash. Solo went
<v Speaker 2>for the Samoan spike on Sammy, but he blocked it
<v Speaker 2>and hit it with an exploder suplex. Zaane followed up
<v Speaker 2>with a Halluba kick and got the victory. So the
<v Speaker 2>Heels lose this match in eleven minutes. After the match,
<v Speaker 2>Jimmy hugged Fatu ands Zay then mentioned for them to
<v Speaker 2>come together, and Fatu and Zane shook hands and hugged
<v Speaker 2>while the credits rolled. So there was some tension here
<v Speaker 2>with Fatunzane. Are they gonna get are they gonna you know?
<v Speaker 2>Are they gonna come to blows? Are they gonna be
<v Speaker 2>able to get along? And the crowd really popped for
<v Speaker 2>Fatu and Zane hugging it out here, and I think
<v Speaker 2>this is good. Some people are concerned that it softens
<v Speaker 2>the image of Jacob Fatu. I would argue that it
<v Speaker 2>humanizes him because Jacfa two forever, I mean, he's been
<v Speaker 2>known as the werewolf, right and small and werewolf. Well,
<v Speaker 2>instead of just being just kind of mindless, animalistic carnivore,
<v Speaker 2>it actually adds a little bit of human emotion to
<v Speaker 2>him that he can actually, you know, he feels, he
<v Speaker 2>can feel happiness, and he can bond with other wrestlers
<v Speaker 2>other than just acting like a wild rabbit, you know, dog,
<v Speaker 2>so to speak. And that's good. I think it's good
<v Speaker 2>for everybody. Do I need to see Jacob Fatu coming
<v Speaker 2>out next week and holding hands with Sammy's eight No? Right,
<v Speaker 2>But if for the moment you can it's a range
<v Speaker 2>of emotions, it adds just another layer, even if it's
<v Speaker 2>a small one to Jacobatu. And that's how you build stars,
<v Speaker 2>my friend, That's how you build stars. You just add
<v Speaker 2>layers appropriate show that they have range, that they can
<v Speaker 2>be relatable. They're telling a story here and it's not
<v Speaker 2>just about pure violence, and that that was just a
<v Speaker 2>good moment. So again I'm challenging. I'm challenging people that
<v Speaker 2>it's just come to me and I'm not being a
<v Speaker 2>combative or anything. I'm just being genuinely curious, why is

<v Speaker 2>A He's certainly he's not an in ring performer anymore.
<v Speaker 2>He is a he's a suit he's in charge of creative,
<v Speaker 2>he's got other priorities. He doesn't have to kill himself
<v Speaker 2>to be in top shape, because he doesn't. He's that's
<v Speaker 2>not who he is anymore. But if I was to
<v Speaker 2>put a number on it, I mean, I'd say he
<v Speaker 2>put on a good thirty forty pounds of just body fat.

<v Speaker 2>get a public picture taken of you. Those are my thoughts. Yeah,

<v Speaker 2>H certainly doesn't look like the game right now. Okay,
<v Speaker 2>let's make a quick trip over to Monday Night Raw
<v Speaker 2>and reminds you of some of the results there and
<v Speaker 2>some of what happened over on Raw this past week.
<v Speaker 2>We had CM punk open the show, if you remember,
<v Speaker 2>and he said that he has a Seth Rollins problem,
<v Speaker 2>and he recalled saying that, you know, don't hate the player,
<v Speaker 2>hate the game, but he does hate the player Seth Rollins.
<v Speaker 2>And he talked about how Seth won't have to pretend
<v Speaker 2>to be injured anymore because he's gonna break his leg.
<v Speaker 2>And La Knight comes out and there was some tension there.
<v Speaker 2>Ella Knight held his own I remember talking about that
<v Speaker 2>on Monday Night Raw review. He felt like he could
<v Speaker 2>hang a little bit with Stampunk. He didn't seem intimidated
<v Speaker 2>by Punk Ella and Night didn't fumble over his words
<v Speaker 2>as he sometimes does. He felt confident. And there was
<v Speaker 2>again some tension, some competitively healthy tension, nothing thing personal.
<v Speaker 2>They just have a common enemy. And there is just
<v Speaker 2>as I said on the Monday Night Raw review, but
<v Speaker 2>I'll reiterate here, there is just all there's no chance
<v Speaker 2>that they go into a l A. Knight CEM Punk
<v Speaker 2>program right now. There's there's there's just no chance. Why
<v Speaker 2>would they? Why would they? Saampunk's got his own path,
<v Speaker 2>Lae Knight seemingly has his own path. But all right,
<v Speaker 2>so we had uh Paul Hayman come out, if you remember,
<v Speaker 2>with bron Breaker and Bronson Reid shoes around the neck
<v Speaker 2>of Bronson Reid. Hayman mocked the French fans, which I
<v Speaker 2>remember laughing at and saying he called their language a
<v Speaker 2>guttural language, which really was great, and he told Knight
<v Speaker 2>he should avoid getting in the favor business with Punk.
<v Speaker 2>And it ended up with Breaker nearly snapping but Paul
<v Speaker 2>Hayman pulling him back, and we got a tag team
<v Speaker 2>main event for the end of the night being made.
<v Speaker 2>So let's continue here, AJ Styles and Dragon Lee versus
<v Speaker 2>Dom and El Grande. Wow, big week of tag team matches.
<v Speaker 2>It was just a tag team fest the last week here.
<v Speaker 2>So Dom and El Grande beat AJ and Dragonly in
<v Speaker 2>sixteen minutes and forty seconds, and let's see here. We
<v Speaker 2>had Seamus show up and he said to Pierce that
<v Speaker 2>Pierce wanted to see him, and he told Seamus that
<v Speaker 2>he couldn't have a repeat of what happened with him
<v Speaker 2>and Russo last week. And Zane told Seamus the match
<v Speaker 2>meant a lot to him and not to get involved,
<v Speaker 2>so he gave him his word, and we get Russa
<v Speaker 2>versus Sammy zay which went ten and a half minutes
<v Speaker 2>with Sammy Zayane fighting russe Up to an o contest,
<v Speaker 2>and that's because it was stopped by Solo Tala, Jason
<v Speaker 2>Matteo and Tongo Loa, and Matteo and Loa pulled Zaane
<v Speaker 2>to the floor roughed them up. Seamus comes on the
<v Speaker 2>other side of the ring and attacks Russev. Seamus got
<v Speaker 2>the better of Russev and ran him through a crowd
<v Speaker 2>out to the arena, and Zane was still down and
<v Speaker 2>being looked at by producers. So, yeah, this did not
<v Speaker 2>have a definitive conclusion. Kind of a lame finish with
<v Speaker 2>sammy' z ain fighting Russov here. This you know, this
<v Speaker 2>is a program that's not going to be continuing. Here
<v Speaker 2>is just a vehicle to get the the MFTs out.
<v Speaker 2>And yeah, I gotta say that is one group and
<v Speaker 2>I will concede that. And some of the heat has
<v Speaker 2>been on Solo in his group. That just they're a
<v Speaker 2>boring group. I have to admit they kind of are.
<v Speaker 2>They're a spin off of a spin off, you know,
<v Speaker 2>like they are a spin off of the bloodline, but
<v Speaker 2>then there was a in between bloodline when Solo was
<v Speaker 2>you know, when Roman left that Solo took over with
<v Speaker 2>the OG bloodline, but then as those members left, it
<v Speaker 2>became this bloodline. So this is a spin off of
<v Speaker 2>a spinoff, usually not good. When you apply that to
<v Speaker 2>any other entertainment platform or any other entertainment form of
<v Speaker 2>entertainment like a television show or a movie, spinoffs are
<v Speaker 2>often hard to be good. And then you take a
<v Speaker 2>spin off of a spin off. How many spin off
<v Speaker 2>of a spinoff movies or TV shows can you name
<v Speaker 2>that are better than the OG Very few, very few.
<v Speaker 2>So that being said, they are a boring group. I
<v Speaker 2>will concede that. And the reason is pretty simple. It's
<v Speaker 2>not hard to really break down into a fine powder.
<v Speaker 2>It's the fact that there they were introduced too quickly
<v Speaker 2>they also don't get a lot of time to talk.
<v Speaker 2>If ever, they all blend together. There just one big
<v Speaker 2>like mud mixing type of group, like they're all interchangeable,
<v Speaker 2>outside of Tala Tongo, who's just got the size to
<v Speaker 2>differentiate himself, so he automatically kind of gets your attention
<v Speaker 2>a little bit more because of that. But the other
<v Speaker 2>ones like Togoloa, Tamatan, like you're just they're all interchangeable
<v Speaker 2>in your mind, and if they're not, you're lying they are.
<v Speaker 2>No one's actually paying attention to either one of them.
<v Speaker 2>Uh for sure, Jason Matteo of course does look a
<v Speaker 2>little bit different. But even besides the size difference that
<v Speaker 2>gets your attention with Tala and with Jason Matteo, and
<v Speaker 2>you know, Tomatanga and Togolo are of course are the
<v Speaker 2>two ones that are just invisible in that group. But
<v Speaker 2>outside of that, they all of them don't have a personality.
<v Speaker 2>And now is Solo continues to lose here and he
<v Speaker 2>is not unbeatable. There was a time when Solo was
<v Speaker 2>unbeatable until Cody Roads gave him his first loss I
<v Speaker 2>believe was right before Russel Manya thirty nine. But Solo
<v Speaker 2>Sokla does not feel unbeatable anymore. Sure, he's the United
<v Speaker 2>States champion, but again, his backup don't have much to say.
<v Speaker 2>They don't have a good personality. There's not a lot
<v Speaker 2>of chemistry there. There's again the only thing bonding them
<v Speaker 2>is the fact that okay, well we're all Tongans. How
<v Speaker 2>about that, you know, you know, well we all come
<v Speaker 2>from the same uh same bloodline. Pretty cool, huh. At
<v Speaker 2>least with Jimmy and Jay and Sammy and Roman and Paul,
<v Speaker 2>there was some those like storylines going on within storylines
<v Speaker 2>and the infiltration of Sammy, and is Sammy gonna get
<v Speaker 2>kicked out, He's gonna get beat up? Is he gonna
<v Speaker 2>eventually soften up to Roman? Is Roman gonna turn and
<v Speaker 2>like there was some fun dynamics and Sammy trying to
<v Speaker 2>infiltrate from within and maybe trying to turn Jay on Roman.
<v Speaker 2>And remember all that that was fun. This is just
<v Speaker 2>one big vanilla version of the blood line. It is
<v Speaker 2>a To say it's a Walmart version would be doing
<v Speaker 2>too much giving it too much credit. What if people
<v Speaker 2>talk about the Wish version or the there's another cheap
<v Speaker 2>site that you can get like crappy knockoff products from
<v Speaker 2>I can't think of. But it's like that. And can
<v Speaker 2>they fix this? Can they can they mediate this? Yes
<v Speaker 2>they can, they can remediate it, but it's gonna take work,
<v Speaker 2>work that I don't know if they're willing to put in.
<v Speaker 2>So I think and I can concede with that, that
<v Speaker 2>the the Solo so CoA m FT bloodline three point
<v Speaker 2>zero whatever this version of is the blood line of
<v Speaker 2>people are burned out of it, man, because not only
<v Speaker 2>is this a storyland that won't die, but also because
<v Speaker 2>people don't know them, they're not connected to it. They're
<v Speaker 2>just a bunch of tongans. That's the connection that we're
<v Speaker 2>supposed to be, you know, somehow interested in that. So
<v Speaker 2>then we have EO Sky versus Roxanne Perez with Roquel Rodriguez.
<v Speaker 2>This match went fifteen minutes and forty seconds with Roxanne
<v Speaker 2>beating EO. Again. This was a really good match from
<v Speaker 2>what I can recall. And some tension here with Osca
<v Speaker 2>and EO and Kyrie that people are speculating could lead
<v Speaker 2>to a turn of Osca whatever. I've said that from
<v Speaker 2>a week and a half now, like sure, turn turner whatever.
<v Speaker 2>You know, she can do both all right, we have
<v Speaker 2>Becky Lynch takes on taking on Maxine Duprix for the
<v Speaker 2>Women's Intercontinental Championship defending it. The match went five and
<v Speaker 2>a half minutes with Becky beating Maxine and to absolutely
<v Speaker 2>nobody's surprise, afterward, in Italian Tazala checked on Duprex and
<v Speaker 2>Lynch through a cheap shot at Natalia, which was funny
<v Speaker 2>as hell. All right, a Bailey promo video air that
<v Speaker 2>was just fantastic. They did this sent a way that
<v Speaker 2>was a documentary style, but it felt, I mean, there
<v Speaker 2>was some real, real stuff that Bailey was putting out there.
<v Speaker 2>And is this is it hinting at a darker Bailey? Yes?
<v Speaker 2>What kind of dark Bailey I don't know. Again, hopefully
<v Speaker 2>not one that mimics Alexa Bliss's footsteps of carrying around

<v Speaker 2>grounded in some kind of reality, one that's not like

<v Speaker 2>replications of them because they have their own fatal flaws

<v Speaker 2>very well done. The production of this segment was very
<v Speaker 2>well done for Bailey, how she doesn't feel like herself
<v Speaker 2>and she's never felt like she's wants more but feels
<v Speaker 2>less and she's in a very conflicting space head and
<v Speaker 2>it's fun to watch. Okay, see him Punk and La
<v Speaker 2>and I take on bron Breaker and Bronson. Reid cee him.
<v Speaker 2>Punk and l A Knight beat bron Breaker and Bronson
<v Speaker 2>read by d Q again another kind of wonky finish.
<v Speaker 2>Punk gets the hot tag, he got Breaker down, hit
<v Speaker 2>him with the top rope elbow, and then removed his
<v Speaker 2>shirt and signaled for the GTS. But Seth Rollins comes
<v Speaker 2>in and attacks Punk for the DQ finish and that's
<v Speaker 2>uh when Jay Usa comes out with a chair. Breaker
<v Speaker 2>met Jay in the entrance asle was put and was
<v Speaker 2>put down with some chair shots, and you know, it
<v Speaker 2>just became chaos. As Adam Pierce walked on the stage
<v Speaker 2>and said it would be very easy to be angry
<v Speaker 2>with Rollins because he's a liar and a master manipulator
<v Speaker 2>who interferes in matches and tries to injure wrestlers, and
<v Speaker 2>Pierce said it wouldn't he wouldn't be angry. He looked
<v Speaker 2>at it as an opportunity, and he makes a fatal
<v Speaker 2>four way match for the WWE World Title at Clash
<v Speaker 2>in Paris with La and Knight, Cmpunk, Seth Rollins and Juso.
<v Speaker 2>So fun match that again. You know, it's not gonna
<v Speaker 2>end with Seth Rollins dropping the belt, nor should it,
<v Speaker 2>but it's gonna be fun to watch how they get there.
<v Speaker 2>It's gonna be fun to watch how they get to
<v Speaker 2>the point of Seth retaining. Isn't just as simple as
<v Speaker 2>Brown Breaker and Bronson Red interfering because it's a no
<v Speaker 2>DQ match because there's four people involved, because every multiperson
<v Speaker 2>match has to be no DQ by default, which is stupid.
<v Speaker 2>No one can logically explain that to me. I'll continue
<v Speaker 2>to harp on that because this is an incredibly glaringly obvious,
<v Speaker 2>embarrassing loophole in the fact that this is a every
<v Speaker 2>multiperson match men or woman outside of tag team matches
<v Speaker 2>somehow or just no DQ. Yeah, you can use weapons
<v Speaker 2>because there's another person in the match. Explain that to me,
