<v Speaker 1>It says we're live, welcome on in, everybody to the <v Speaker 1>nont the non when not affiliated with Nintendo on anyway, <v Speaker 1>which is why today I'm gonna hopefully not get dmcad <v Speaker 1>that's the plan. I'm also going to continue to rhyme <v Speaker 1>through the rest of this episode's runtime. <v Speaker 2>Oh that's that's a specialty of mine. <v Speaker 1>So far, everything I've said has rhymed with the previous thing. <v Speaker 1>I like bread. Sorry, I didn't know where I was going. <v Speaker 2>I don't know. Yah it's going. It's a bit difficult <v Speaker 2>for me even at this point. <v Speaker 1>Hey, I'm no KSI, you know what I mean. Oh, Bro, <v Speaker 1>For me, it was from the screen to the screen. <v Speaker 1>I'm still here at the screen. I'm in front of <v Speaker 1>the screen. Yeah, never quite got to the ring or <v Speaker 1>the pen or a king. <v Speaker 2>Well, the king parts debatable. <v Speaker 1>Thank you so much for saying that. That's so nice <v Speaker 1>of you to say, guys, welcome on in. It's a <v Speaker 1>kind of a cold day here in Pennsylvania. Yesterday was beautiful. <v Speaker 1>It's getting cold. It's getting chilly, it's getting wintry, and <v Speaker 1>I'm here for. <v Speaker 2>It's cozy, cozy. <v Speaker 1>It's getting cozy, it's getting cold. The full the leaves. <v Speaker 1>We shouldn't talk about whether right at the start of <v Speaker 1>a podcast, but the leaves. My guy, did you see <v Speaker 1>him driving in? <v Speaker 2>I've been peeping. I've been leaf peeping people. <v Speaker 1>Golden Brown's the reds. Oh god. We went for kem <v Speaker 1>and I went for a drive yesterday morning, just through <v Speaker 1>the farm toown, farmland. <v Speaker 2>Farmland beautiful. <v Speaker 1>Got a big old apple sider donut. Love to see it, <v Speaker 1>love to taste it. You can have you can have some. <v Speaker 1>It's upstairs. I didn't need only half of it. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>for sure, you get your fresh one too. <v Speaker 2>I'm interested. <v Speaker 1>Uh yeah, Today we're going to be doing something a <v Speaker 1>little a little risky, a little risky because the biggest <v Speaker 1>news right now that you cannot find anything online about <v Speaker 1>is Nintendo's new mml H debataball if it is actually <v Speaker 1>going to be anything more than what it currently is <v Speaker 1>to to some before we get into it, it's part <v Speaker 1>of that play test Nintendo had ten thousand people to <v Speaker 1>sign up for now. All of those people had to <v Speaker 1>sign NDAs and disclosures that they wouldn't talk about it <v Speaker 1>or showcase any of the footage. But as far as <v Speaker 1>I'm aware, I didn't sign pissed. <v Speaker 2>I didn't sign piss either, dog, I didn't sign Jack <v Speaker 2>or not a damn thing signed. <v Speaker 1>Not. Today, Nintendo has been pulling footage down left, right, <v Speaker 1>and center. There's a good chance that this episode might <v Speaker 1>get DMC eight or pulled down. But again, and I <v Speaker 1>want to stress this once again, piss piss or Jack <v Speaker 1>did I sign right? And uh, it took me a while, <v Speaker 1>but I found a mega thread of videos and clips <v Speaker 1>and gameplay from this thing. And it did when I <v Speaker 1>say it took me a while, and this might be <v Speaker 1>the only source of it on the internet, and I <v Speaker 1>found the mother load. <v Speaker 2>Hey, we're just we're just two dudes with access to <v Speaker 2>the internet, So. <v Speaker 1>Just me and a guy. Yeah, and I found. I found, <v Speaker 1>So I'm gonna I'm gonna show it. And if this <v Speaker 1>episode gets pulled down and then re uploaded, you'll know why. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>there's some other things to talk about too, and we're <v Speaker 1>also sponsored by Trade. Thank you so much, Trade, But <v Speaker 1>we'll talk about that later before I get into any <v Speaker 1>of that. And I don't know if I should talk <v Speaker 1>about the the the MMO stuff first or like save it. <v Speaker 1>So this episode actually doesn't get taken down immediately because <v Speaker 1>I part of me feels like the second I show it, <v Speaker 1>we're gonna get taken. <v Speaker 2>I don't know about I don't know about that, you know, <v Speaker 2>I mean like there's I also have been a couple <v Speaker 2>of other YouTuber guys out there. <v Speaker 1>You can't find, you can't YouTube by recently uploaded, and <v Speaker 1>there's nothing. <v Speaker 2>Oh so are we doing? Is this a supuku episode? <v Speaker 2>Right now? <v Speaker 1>I have a failing If we talk at the second <v Speaker 1>I show it, the episode might go down. So I <v Speaker 1>kind of feel like we should drag We should drag <v Speaker 1>on a little bit and talk about everything else first. <v Speaker 2>So what we're saying is which at least is the <v Speaker 2>title and the thumbnail were bait for at least a <v Speaker 2>certain amount of time. <v Speaker 1>When we get into it, we're gonna talk about it, <v Speaker 1>but I want to at least I want to at <v Speaker 1>least get through the sponsors. <v Speaker 2>Think true. All right, let's do it. <v Speaker 1>First up though, before anything, before we talk about anything. Hello, <v Speaker 1>nice to see how you're going. Hello, Apologies for a <v Speaker 1>couple of things some community drama. Not really, let's make <v Speaker 1>it sound bigger than it is. There was no episode <v Speaker 1>last week because that little sore throat I had the <v Speaker 1>week before turned into strap throat and an ulcer in <v Speaker 1>my throat. Right, I was in a lot of pain. <v Speaker 1>I couldn't I couldn't really even swallow my own saliva, <v Speaker 1>let alone eat or drink anything. And it got to <v Speaker 1>the point where I was a mute. <v Speaker 2>A mute. <v Speaker 1>I was mute for a couple of days. It was <v Speaker 1>weird because physically I felt fine. I wasn't really showing <v Speaker 1>any symptoms. You keep staring at things. <v Speaker 2>Like sometimes I'm just hey dog, I'm you know, it <v Speaker 2>looks it looks and sounds funny. Actually, just as you <v Speaker 2>said that it came, it went out. <v Speaker 1>It looks like you yanked to the cord. <v Speaker 2>I didn't. <v Speaker 1>It's bro is it still? I'm assuming we still have <v Speaker 1>no audio? <v Speaker 2>Well, literally, as soon as you said that, oh we're back, <v Speaker 2>it's back. What is going on? <v Speaker 1>You're pissing with me? Now? Genuinely, I was gonna piss <v Speaker 1>with you. I actually was gonna piss with you about <v Speaker 1>the audio. I was gonna be I was gonna be like, <v Speaker 1>over down, audio's gone, blah blah blah. But it genuinely <v Speaker 1>as soon as you said, why are you staring at <v Speaker 1>over there? As soon as you said that, the audio <v Speaker 1>just dipped. I want to stress that was not a bit. <v Speaker 2>It wasn't a bit. <v Speaker 1>As soon as I said that, yeah, oh god, it's <v Speaker 1>so crazy. <v Speaker 2>It's a good thing. By the way that you know, <v Speaker 2>last week you were in pain and you missed the episode. <v Speaker 2>This week you're one hundred percent I can see right, <v Speaker 2>and you're in no pain whatsoever. <v Speaker 1>I'm going to talk about that. Hold on, let me <v Speaker 1>get there. So I was physically fine, but like I <v Speaker 1>couldn't like I swallow or like talk. Talking hurt. So <v Speaker 1>there was a couple of days where I was just mute, <v Speaker 1>and like I remember Kim and I went to trade <v Speaker 1>to Joe's and she was like showing me things like <v Speaker 1>do you want this? And I was just going yeah, <v Speaker 1>Like like I I. <v Speaker 2>Didn't talk for Were you on FaceTime with her? Is <v Speaker 2>that what it was? <v Speaker 1>No, we were at the store together. <v Speaker 2>Oh okay, sorry, miss Because I fine. <v Speaker 1>I could go and do stuff. I just couldn't, like talk. <v Speaker 1>It was just hurt too much. I was downing lozenges <v Speaker 1>and throat sprays like no tomorrow. It was brutal for sure. <v Speaker 1>And then today right before as well, Ham was alluding to. <v Speaker 1>Right before Ham got here, I was working out and <v Speaker 1>I pulled something in my back and I can't. I can't, <v Speaker 1>I can't move. <v Speaker 2>I was worried for a second there that after that <v Speaker 2>two hour drive, you're going to send me on my hand. <v Speaker 1>No. No. When Ham got here, I was lying on <v Speaker 1>my bedroom floor with Kim and she was doing a <v Speaker 1>roller on my back and putting deep heat on my <v Speaker 1>back and Kim had to go let Ham in because <v Speaker 1>I actually couldn't get up. I was turtled on the floor. <v Speaker 1>It took me a long time to get up. So, yeah, <v Speaker 1>I'm in a lot of pain, but just sitting here <v Speaker 1>is fine. Enough about me, let's talk about me. So <v Speaker 1>two weeks ago we did an episode with with you <v Speaker 1>and Kim. We did and I was sick and I <v Speaker 1>was getting I was like my energy levels were really low, low, lower, lowered. <v Speaker 1>And then we had the audio issue and for whatever reason, <v Speaker 1>it like it just pissed me off, Like it wasn't. <v Speaker 1>I wasn't mad at you. I was mad at the <v Speaker 1>situation and the audio. <v Speaker 2>It's gonna it's a bit cursed. I mean, you saw <v Speaker 2>what just happened just now, right, and that was not a. <v Speaker 1>Bit letting that get I'm not even acknowledging that happen. <v Speaker 1>It was. It was seconds and I just wasn't I <v Speaker 1>couldn't bring myself back out of the out of the despair. <v Speaker 1>I don't know. I just we were live. There's no <v Speaker 1>breaks when you're alive. We couldn't take a second. We <v Speaker 1>probably should have taken a second, But in my brain, <v Speaker 1>I'm like, we're live. What am I going to do? <v Speaker 2>Just do we need you know, we need a little <v Speaker 2>technical difficulty screen. <v Speaker 1>We should get that. So I tried to soldier on through, <v Speaker 1>but I ended up being a little a little bit <v Speaker 1>of a baby that said. When I get like that, <v Speaker 1>in my brain, I'm like, well, how can I make <v Speaker 1>it entertaining that I don't feel good? So I lean <v Speaker 1>into being a dick, right, And then, especially during the <v Speaker 1>tear the ranking we were doing, I was I found <v Speaker 1>it hilarious that I was ruining it on purpose by <v Speaker 1>making it about the chicken shop, And in my mind, <v Speaker 1>I was like, this is comedy gold. But then watching <v Speaker 1>it back, it's also comedy gold at the expense of <v Speaker 1>me being a dick, right, So fair. I don't I <v Speaker 1>don't know why my brain works the certain ways that <v Speaker 1>it does sometimes, but I do apologize if I came <v Speaker 1>across stroppy to both you and Kim and everybody watching. <v Speaker 1>It wasn't my intention, and I don't like when I <v Speaker 1>get like that and I'm sorry. <v Speaker 2>No, you know, well, I mean you don't have to <v Speaker 2>apologize to me right at the end of the day, <v Speaker 2>Like I know, I don't take it personally ever, you know, <v Speaker 2>so I don't. I don't. I don't. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I mean it's it's it's difficult too because I'm <v Speaker 1>very comfortable around you now, I feel very close to you, <v Speaker 1>and obviously Kim's my wife. Yeah, so I've very sat <v Speaker 1>in my basement with my friend and my wife just <v Speaker 1>being a stroppy. But then I forget that like a <v Speaker 1>couple hundred people are watching and they don't know me <v Speaker 1>that well. So anyway, apologies, apologies for that. I'm in <v Speaker 1>a better mood today. I'm just in a lot of pain. <v Speaker 1>All right, what do you want to do? I don't <v Speaker 1>want to make people wait too long. I also did <v Speaker 1>put screenshots of it in the thumbnail, and I feel <v Speaker 1>like that alone could get us pulled down. So maybe <v Speaker 1>we get to it, maybe we just rip it. <v Speaker 2>I'm really I'm I'm curious to know like, maybe we <v Speaker 2>should do a poll in chat right now? Is this <v Speaker 2>pod gonna get taken down? That's good, I should do that. <v Speaker 2>I want me to set it up. I could set poll. <v Speaker 2>Let's do it. <v Speaker 1>Are we going to get d MCA live? Because people legit. <v Speaker 1>If you go to Twitter and you look up pictures <v Speaker 1>of this or like gameplay of this game, all you'll <v Speaker 1>find is literally my thumbnail is a meme based on <v Speaker 1>If you go and look at photos online, it'll say <v Speaker 1>this content has been removed and you can't see the photo. <v Speaker 1>It's just a picture that says this content's been removed. <v Speaker 1>And I was I was advised not to do this, <v Speaker 1>so by just like uh people, it's just by people. <v Speaker 1>I don't want to say, all. <v Speaker 2>Right, I've started a poll in chat. <v Speaker 1>Are we gonna get are we going to get d <v Speaker 1>m C eight? <v Speaker 2>I want to get a d m C AD. <v Speaker 1>You'll be okay, it's not getting pulled. Maybe I'm well <v Speaker 1>then maybe I'm making a mountain out of a mole hill. <v Speaker 1>But I swear to god. You look on YouTube right now, <v Speaker 1>you can't find footage. You look on Twitter, you can't <v Speaker 1>find you can't find footage anyway. It's all getting pulled, <v Speaker 1>it's all getting deleted. I actually I do think we're <v Speaker 1>going to get this. I think this is gonna get taken. <v Speaker 2>Uh huh, Except there is there's one there is one <v Speaker 2>location now where this information is available to in case, <v Speaker 2>in case, anybody, in case you are, in case this <v Speaker 2>disappears and we die and we're no longer here, right, <v Speaker 2>this is a message to me after my death. No <v Speaker 2>if there's a little platform that's emerging yet, Okay, so. <v Speaker 1>I don't want to in tended to find it before <v Speaker 1>I've had a chance to react to it. <v Speaker 2>Okay, fair enough. <v Speaker 1>Up in a second, yea, sure, Yeah, it's a plat <v Speaker 1>form that Nintendo probably isn't looking at right now. So <v Speaker 1>all right, let me explain. Let me set it up <v Speaker 1>while you're doing the poll. So, just for backstory, Nintendo <v Speaker 1>had ten thousand people sign up for this playtest. It <v Speaker 1>was ndaid apparently or some kind of like please don't <v Speaker 1>talk or show footage of this what it ended up being. <v Speaker 1>There was a ton of rumors out there, what are <v Speaker 1>you leaving. <v Speaker 2>Just because someone Chad just said it's still Let me <v Speaker 2>click the thumbnail though. This thumbnail, yeah, the one that <v Speaker 2>you made to look like that. <v Speaker 1>I wonder why what it ended up being was this <v Speaker 1>CTC Minecraft looking MMO game playtesting is still live. I <v Speaker 1>think you can still live it play it if you're <v Speaker 1>in that ten thousand. There is not a single stream <v Speaker 1>on Twitch that's up anymore. Some people did stream it <v Speaker 1>on Twitch. I haven't seen it. I couldn't find it <v Speaker 1>because Nintendo pulled it down. As far as I'm aware, <v Speaker 1>there's no other footage online other than what I found <v Speaker 1>by going through the depths of Reddit. I don't think <v Speaker 1>this is going to be an actual game from Nintendo. <v Speaker 1>I think this is them stress testing the possibility of <v Speaker 1>having thousands of people in a server for something else <v Speaker 1>they might want to make later. The any reason I <v Speaker 1>think that is because it just looks unfinished and very <v Speaker 1>low scale and not something that I think would necessarily <v Speaker 1>be a huge success. But I could be wrong. You <v Speaker 1>never know what, Nintendo, you do never know. Sixty six <v Speaker 1>percent of people say yes. <v Speaker 2>In YouTube it says not available. Wait what what what <v Speaker 2>is that? What does that mean? <v Speaker 1>What's not available? <v Speaker 2>I don't know. If somebody's just said that in chat, <v Speaker 2>I don't know. <v Speaker 1>I think that's a way of monitoring in real time <v Speaker 1>in the back end, any copyright strikes or claims. I <v Speaker 1>don't know where that is, though, it'd be interesting to <v Speaker 1>see if anything pops up while I'm a live. <v Speaker 2>Hey, here's the thing. YouTube. We haven't said shit yet, <v Speaker 2>so you know, we haven't said maybe maybe maybe trigger finger, <v Speaker 2>you know. <v Speaker 1>Get your finger off that trick. <v Speaker 2>True. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, there's an article here. We can read this quickly <v Speaker 1>before I open up the pictures. Nintendo Switch Online play <v Speaker 1>test goes alive and plays immediately, leak the gameplay and <v Speaker 1>even stream it. <v Speaker 2>So someone's saying it's yeah, it says not available. Is <v Speaker 2>this one of your mods or is it a subscriber? <v Speaker 2>In chat? <v Speaker 1>Uh, it's the thumb that thumbnail we're talking about the thumb. <v Speaker 2>No are they though, because they're saying it's not because <v Speaker 2>the thumbnail doesn't say not available. Right, they're in chat talking, okay, <v Speaker 2>all right, whatever, I'm am. I getting one guy so <v Speaker 2>bad right. <v Speaker 1>Now, you bring up the article I've read. <v Speaker 2>All right, all right, I got you. <v Speaker 1>Nintendo Switches Online play test goes live. Uh. Earlier this <v Speaker 1>month and ten I asked those who successully signed up <v Speaker 1>for the mysterious Switch online playtests and not reveal it. <v Speaker 1>Umm Nintendo has worked. Yeah, here we go to take <v Speaker 1>down various streams and videos are small on October twenty fourth, <v Speaker 1>which is today, but it faces an uphill battle with <v Speaker 1>footage doing the rounds across social media and discords. Remarkably, <v Speaker 1>it appears Nintendo's failed to disable screenshots and recording for <v Speaker 1>the playtest, further fueling the leaks. So as of this morning, <v Speaker 1>they're still taking down this footage. One Twitch channel that <v Speaker 1>streamed the playtest now contains the boiler plate. Content from <v Speaker 1>the channel has been removed at the request the copyright holder, <v Speaker 1>and the owner of the channel took to you about <v Speaker 1>to say that channel is now super dead. Yeah, I <v Speaker 1>got DMC eight, so channel super dead. Before threatening to <v Speaker 1>shed footage. Now I'm wondering if we should even do it. <v Speaker 1>Oh God, share the footage. I recorded everything locally, but <v Speaker 1>not sure if I want to take a risk to <v Speaker 1>share it through further means. Open to it if if <v Speaker 1>anyone has a safish way to do it, though. <v Speaker 2>What if we just described it? You know? <v Speaker 1>Well, here's the thing this guy got in the playtest. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>so he agreed not to show it. I didn't agree <v Speaker 1>not to show it. <v Speaker 2>That's true. <v Speaker 1>The worst they can do is take down this video. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>they can't take down the whole channel. I didn't agree <v Speaker 1>to anything, I've signed nothing. I did try it. I <v Speaker 1>tried to, but they wouldn't let me in. Maybe they <v Speaker 1>should have let me in. <v Speaker 2>Let me in. <v Speaker 1>So let's do one more pole before I bring this up. <v Speaker 1>Let me make sure it. Should we show it? Let's <v Speaker 1>do one more poll. Should we show it? Because I've <v Speaker 1>literally found the mother load of clips from this thing, <v Speaker 1>So one more poll? Should we show it? Should we <v Speaker 1>risk getting DMC aid? <v Speaker 2>I forgot to end the other poll firston. <v Speaker 1>In the meantime, while that pole is happening, I'll touch <v Speaker 1>on a couple of other things that I had in <v Speaker 1>the dock here, So you. Yakuza Kiwami released today on <v Speaker 1>the E Shop for twenty bucks on Switch. It's a <v Speaker 1>remake of the first game the Yakuza series is really awesome, <v Speaker 1>and just for twenty bucks for that game if you <v Speaker 1>haven't played it, it's the very sorry I. <v Speaker 2>Thought you showing something. My bad. I'm trying to go <v Speaker 2>off the audio cues of you saying things. You know <v Speaker 2>what I mean? <v Speaker 1>Well, everyone knows what's on my doc now I know <v Speaker 1>here you can show this. <v Speaker 2>It was brief. <v Speaker 1>It was brief, but we did that once. I'm not <v Speaker 1>going to talk about it, Okay, I'll talk about that. <v Speaker 1>So uh yeah, here it is. It's it's the first game. <v Speaker 1>So yeah, if you if you ever had interest in <v Speaker 1>the Yakuza series, this game's really good. It's completely remade, <v Speaker 1>it looks great, and it's the start of the the <v Speaker 1>Yakuza game So you can start at the start and <v Speaker 1>then if you like it, you'll have to go somewhere <v Speaker 1>else to play the rest because this is the only <v Speaker 1>one on Switch. These games are really fun that it's <v Speaker 1>kind of it's kind of a little bit persona y <v Speaker 1>in the Slice of Life of going around Japan and <v Speaker 1>you can play like claw games and do some stuff <v Speaker 1>around the city of Tokyo or wherever this game is set. <v Speaker 1>I don't remember, like what city it's set in. But <v Speaker 1>then of course there's like a whole beat them up aspect. <v Speaker 1>You you beat people up and you can use all <v Speaker 1>the environment around you and it's a ton of fun <v Speaker 1>and the story is great. So yeah, I highly recommend. <v Speaker 1>Here's some of the side things you can do, like baseball, <v Speaker 1>right and taking this small child to a. <v Speaker 2>Photo Photo's a bizarre series in general. <v Speaker 1>I like it. Yeah, all right, cutaway, let's see what <v Speaker 1>the poll is at. Yes, people want to watch. <v Speaker 2>My don that's really crazy. You guys understand the risks here, <v Speaker 2>right As some people in chatter are saying that the <v Speaker 2>stream is crashing for that, I mean, we're fully up <v Speaker 2>and everything is fine for us, at least from our end. <v Speaker 1>And I'm literally any technical issue at this part. <v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, we may as well, right because like, if <v Speaker 2>we're going to do channel subpuku. <v Speaker 1>Right, that does seem to be what we're doing. All right, ladies, gentlemen, <v Speaker 1>everything in between. If this is the last episode of <v Speaker 1>the podcast, you see, we had a fantastic run, and honestly, <v Speaker 1>I couldn't imagine a better place to go out here <v Speaker 1>in my basement with my friend and my wife. Two <v Speaker 1>flows up. <v Speaker 2>I'm still getting paid for this episode, right. <v Speaker 1>You're still getting paid for this episode. We're going to <v Speaker 1>show the footage that I did not agree not to show. <v Speaker 1>I am not a part of this play test. This <v Speaker 1>is just all public footage I found online. <v Speaker 2>Okay. Can I also say, by the way, if you're <v Speaker 2>in chat intentionally posting things to like, you know, to <v Speaker 2>to like misdirect me into thinking that there's actually something <v Speaker 2>wrong with the stream. You got to understand the level <v Speaker 2>of anxiety I have that I don't want things to <v Speaker 2>go down. So people in chatter are like saying, like, oh, <v Speaker 2>the stream crash, the stream crash, and apparently they're just <v Speaker 2>fucking lying. <v Speaker 1>So yeah, I mean, do you do do a better job? <v Speaker 2>What do you want? I don't know. <v Speaker 1>You want on my phone, I'm jacking. <v Speaker 2>We're eighteen minutes in right now. When do you want <v Speaker 2>to do the trade sponsor? Because again, like so we're <v Speaker 2>gonna start showing stuff. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, it'll be fine. Okay side of piss or a piss. <v Speaker 2>I didn't sign piss either. Okay, let's do it. Let's <v Speaker 2>do it. Here we go. <v Speaker 1>We're officially in no man's land. We're officially in uncharted waters. <v Speaker 1>Imagine I was lying the whole time. It's just a <v Speaker 1>big like a rick rick roll. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, also shouts out not elon musk platform. <v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, so this this is what Ham was alluding to, <v Speaker 1>and this is why we found the footage. It's a <v Speaker 1>big mega dump on Blue Sky. And I don't think <v Speaker 1>Nintendo I've got their eyes on Blue Sky. So here. <v Speaker 1>It is a lot of the footage is low res. <v Speaker 1>I don't know if that's Blue Sky or if that's <v Speaker 1>just Nintendo Switch thirty second record feature. So it's an <v Speaker 1>MMO that looks a lot like Minecraft from what I gather. <v Speaker 1>You build up, it's a lot of building up these <v Speaker 1>these these orb areas you saw, how you see this <v Speaker 1>like kind of dome. So each player gets their own <v Speaker 1>dome they can craft in. They can only craft within <v Speaker 1>their own dome. And then, and what are you saying <v Speaker 1>you're saying dome? Is that what you're saying dome? Don't <v Speaker 1>you know this dome of light over here. <v Speaker 2>That's not a dome. That's like a cylinder you know, <v Speaker 2>that's a roof to it. Okay, well, then that's it. <v Speaker 2>That's a cylindrical prism. <v Speaker 1>It's a dome. It's a dome. Don't don't question my knowledge. <v Speaker 2>Of geography, you know, I just say geography, geo. Yeah <v Speaker 2>you're done, go on, yeah, I'm cooked. You can so <v Speaker 2>let me explain this about it. In your dome only <v Speaker 2>you can craft. Other players can't come in and mess <v Speaker 2>with what you've built. Everybody is able to build in <v Speaker 2>the overworld. I'm pretty sure if it's not domed in, <v Speaker 2>you can do whatever you want. The movement in the <v Speaker 2>game is wacky. I obviously I haven't played it, so <v Speaker 2>I can't really review it review it. I can just <v Speaker 2>tell you what I've seen. There's a lot of players <v Speaker 2>in the game. I've seen clips of people emoting together <v Speaker 2>and shaking hands. Obviously a lot of these clips I'm <v Speaker 2>going to make a lot of sense to me. They're <v Speaker 2>actually cut away for one second because I actually have <v Speaker 2>the intro of the game too. I managed to find <v Speaker 2>that man and really getting into the thick of it right. <v Speaker 1>Now and what it says when you load up the game. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. Also, hey, remember what I just said before. Don't <v Speaker 2>mess with me in check because someone said audio is <v Speaker 2>gone and it wasn't. I was so mad. <v Speaker 1>Cut back, cut back to me, cut back to the gameplay. <v Speaker 1>Just keep messing with ham I love it, honestly. If <v Speaker 1>Hams can have much, if you could have one episode <v Speaker 1>where you're the pissy bitch, that would be great for me. <v Speaker 1>Just take they eat all right. You're never going to <v Speaker 1>get me to be that mad, not on a camera. <v Speaker 1>Here's the start of the game. Uh, I don't think <v Speaker 1>we have sound here. I thought we did, but it's not. <v Speaker 1>The page isn't muted. So all right, let's read what <v Speaker 1>it says here as it loads into the start of <v Speaker 1>the game. Develop a training area. This is where the <v Speaker 1>developers come to train themselves. Know this, that tale of <v Speaker 1>yours shall prove to be an even more versatile thing <v Speaker 1>than you think. Whatever that means. You're ass you know, <v Speaker 1>you unversed as you are. However, now is perhaps not <v Speaker 1>the ideal time to empower such knowledge. Do return here <v Speaker 1>in the future to pursue further growth. Now, then step <v Speaker 1>onto the telep to dev core. Yeah. The other thing is, <v Speaker 1>I think part of the law of this game is <v Speaker 1>your all devs. You're developing the world in the game. <v Speaker 2>You're making the game. <v Speaker 1>You're making the game. Yeah, so you can see here <v Speaker 1>how many players at least are in this starting little area. <v Speaker 2>Oh god, I mean, like like the server issues aside, right, <v Speaker 2>you know, like, what's the whole point. I mean, we <v Speaker 2>saw what happened when you put more than one person <v Speaker 2>in Super Monkey Ball. <v Speaker 1>That's that's the point. <v Speaker 2>I know. <v Speaker 1>But that's what they're trying to do that, I mean, <v Speaker 1>to their credit and what you're saying here, their online <v Speaker 1>service has never been great. So they're clearly night they're <v Speaker 1>clearly actively trying to test their their online service. They're <v Speaker 1>trying to stress test it, They're trying to see what <v Speaker 1>they capable of, and I'm sure they're trying to improve it, <v Speaker 1>which is great to see, honestly, I mean, I love it. <v Speaker 1>I want to see Nintendo improve their online service, and <v Speaker 1>it seems like with everything they're doing towards the switch <v Speaker 1>to improving their online infrastructure seems to be a key <v Speaker 1>point of their focus. Sure, then I love that. <v Speaker 2>My point is that the online infrastructure only takes you <v Speaker 2>so far, because at the end of the day, the <v Speaker 2>end user hardware is what's going to determine the frame <v Speaker 2>rate when you have one hundred characters on the screen. <v Speaker 2>It does seem to be holding up pretty well now. <v Speaker 1>Though, yeah, who knows. I don't know how all this <v Speaker 1>stuff works true, But yeah, so here's a little waiting lobby. <v Speaker 1>This is all we've got here. It's a thirty second clip. Again, <v Speaker 1>a lot of these clips are getting out because Nintendo <v Speaker 1>did not, for some reason deactivate the feature to record <v Speaker 1>your gameplay natively on the switch. You know, when you <v Speaker 1>press the little button to record thirty seconds. I don't <v Speaker 1>know why they wouldn't turn that off when they don't <v Speaker 1>want people showing footage of it, but a lot of <v Speaker 1>these that's how a lot of these clips are getting out, <v Speaker 1>because again, most of these people aren't streamers, they're not <v Speaker 1>content creators, they don't have capture cards. So if Nintendo <v Speaker 1>really didn't want this get out, disabling that feature would <v Speaker 1>have really done. It would have made sense because for <v Speaker 1>ten thousand people to go and buy a capture card <v Speaker 1>just to leak this stuff a lot less likely than <v Speaker 1>using the thirty second feature and then just directly sharing <v Speaker 1>it to Twitter. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, and at the risk of continuing to read chatter, <v Speaker 2>I am seeing chatter saying that the gameplay looks incredibly <v Speaker 2>mid but this is literally I don't think that this <v Speaker 2>has gotten close to what the gameplay would be of <v Speaker 2>whatever they're stress testing, because it is just a stress test. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, no, I want to stress test. I want to <v Speaker 1>stress What I said earlier, I do not think this <v Speaker 1>is a game that is coming out. I do not <v Speaker 1>think this is a game that's going to have support. <v Speaker 1>I don't think this is something that will live after <v Speaker 1>this stress test. My honest thoughts on this is. It <v Speaker 1>is bare bones basic, It's it's an a dev it's <v Speaker 1>using dev tools essentially. It's it's it's something that a <v Speaker 1>team of two school kids could whip up in an evening, right, Like, <v Speaker 1>it's not a very fleshed out game. It's not very Nintendo. <v Speaker 2>It is the back end. <v Speaker 1>It is quite literally Nintendo testing the back end by <v Speaker 1>throwing thousands of people into an MMO. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. I'll also say, by the way, you were totally <v Speaker 2>right about the dome thing, because those are domes. <v Speaker 1>That we just know that domes. <v Speaker 2>Right, You're right, you're right. I'm sorry, my bad. I <v Speaker 2>don't know. <v Speaker 1>Everybody questions me. I'm literally always right on this podcast. <v Speaker 1>I'm never wrong. I've never said anything wrong will so <v Speaker 1>I'm kind of expecting I'm sorry in advance to to <v Speaker 1>sky dot femboyfurry dot Net. <v Speaker 2>That's so funny. It's also kind of like I mean, <v Speaker 2>because I've been on Blue Sky for like, you know, <v Speaker 2>a few days now regularly. It's very refreshing. By the way, at. <v Speaker 1>Least I haven't made it. I should have made an account. <v Speaker 2>But it's very there's no there's none of the alt <v Speaker 2>right people on it, which is good, but at the <v Speaker 2>same time, like there is a lot of art because <v Speaker 2>like the whole thing is like, oh Twitter is using <v Speaker 2>people's art like to improve their AI, which is little ship. <v Speaker 2>But there's a lot of artists. And when the artists <v Speaker 2>are there, that means it's basically like Tumblr right now, <v Speaker 2>you know, So there's gonna be a lot of degenerate <v Speaker 2>people over there. <v Speaker 1>I I want to I want to get on Blue Sky. <v Speaker 1>It's funny because it's it's exactly Twitter looks like, but <v Speaker 1>not owned by Elon. So anyway, thanks to fem here. <v Speaker 1>And I apologize in advance because I'm pretty sure I'm <v Speaker 1>calling a lot of attention to your posts here and <v Speaker 1>that might not work out well for you. Not that <v Speaker 1>you're not that you're probably attached to your Blue Sky account. <v Speaker 1>I can't imagine. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, they might, they might be this. <v Speaker 1>It's been a week. They can make another one. <v Speaker 2>It hasn't been a week. What are you talking about. <v Speaker 2>I've had my blue Sky account for three months. I <v Speaker 2>just only started using it a week ago. Because it's <v Speaker 2>gotten traction. <v Speaker 1>Well, they shouldn't have they shouldn't have posted. I mean <v Speaker 1>they signed the n d A, you know what I mean. <v Speaker 2>They did. They signed we didn't. <v Speaker 1>You can see some I guess task lists here things. <v Speaker 1>It's funny that they have days left a so like this. <v Speaker 1>Obviously this test is going to be running for a <v Speaker 1>while here, but move planetary blocks. Obviously. I don't understand <v Speaker 1>really the rest because I haven't played the game, but <v Speaker 1>just tasks to do in the world, I suppose, and <v Speaker 1>then just some general screenshots of things. A lot of <v Speaker 1>it doesn't make a lot of sense to me because <v Speaker 1>I haven't played it. Here's one of flying around, flying <v Speaker 1>into other people's domes, you know, bare bones as it is. <v Speaker 1>I do kind of like the idea of having this <v Speaker 1>giant Minecraft world where you each get a little section <v Speaker 1>you can flash out, and then you can just easily <v Speaker 1>go visit and walk into people's sections and see what <v Speaker 1>they've got going on, but it won't be messed with. <v Speaker 1>I'm not sure if Minecraft has maybe. I mean, Minecraft <v Speaker 1>has everything, and there's a mod for everything. But I <v Speaker 1>remember when I played a massive Minecraft server mod with <v Speaker 1>a bunch of my friends. I spent weeks building a <v Speaker 1>farm and then I logged back in one day and <v Speaker 1>someone had blown it all up right, and I was heartbroken. <v Speaker 1>I left the server. I was like, I'm done. So <v Speaker 1>I don't know if Minecraft has dome, but I like <v Speaker 1>the idea. <v Speaker 2>The idea of having your own space. Yeah so you <v Speaker 2>think like everything outside of the domes is like PvP, <v Speaker 2>then pretty much. <v Speaker 1>Well I don't think that in the sense of what <v Speaker 1>I don't think there's any like battling. <v Speaker 2>Well yeah, okay, but you know, sure, the whole the <v Speaker 2>old point is that the dome is your domain, right. <v Speaker 1>The domes your domain domain, and then you can I <v Speaker 1>think I saw you can freely craft and do things <v Speaker 1>in the overworld, but of course somebody else would come <v Speaker 1>along and ruin it, right, And there's a molte. I <v Speaker 1>saw a clip of people I said trying to handshake. <v Speaker 1>Full game will have micro transaction. <v Speaker 2>Wait, oh oh that's interesting. <v Speaker 1>Oh that changes literally everything I was saying this. Okay, <v Speaker 1>I'm never rung on this podcast, never once again. Forgive me, <v Speaker 1>because we haven't been able to see or find out <v Speaker 1>any information about this game. And I'm looking through these <v Speaker 1>pictures now for the first time. I'm I guess I'm wrong. <v Speaker 1>This will be a full game. There's even micro transactions <v Speaker 1>on the e shot. Huh, so this is something that's <v Speaker 1>going to come out and that I guess we're all <v Speaker 1>going to get to play eventually. Well, I feel bad <v Speaker 1>now that Well, I don't know, I don't really feel bad. <v Speaker 2>I feel bad even if it is, like, even if <v Speaker 2>it is a game, it's still not even close to <v Speaker 2>fleshed out. <v Speaker 1>So it's true it could go so far. Yeah, what <v Speaker 1>I meant to say, well, I was going to say <v Speaker 1>by I feel bad is I don't want this video <v Speaker 1>to get taken down by Nintendo, and me crapping on <v Speaker 1>the game that is coming out makes it more likely. <v Speaker 1>That's why I feel bad. Yeah, it has a long <v Speaker 1>way to go, Nintendo. I think you have to flesh <v Speaker 1>this out a lot more. But that's interesting that this is, <v Speaker 1>that this is actually going to be a game. I suppose. <v Speaker 2>I think we did a pretty good job, you know, <v Speaker 2>with the caveat of the fact that this is one <v Speaker 2>hundred percent like in super early development, know what it <v Speaker 2>is yet. <v Speaker 1>So early if anything. Actually, now that I'm looking at <v Speaker 1>it more looks sick. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>The more I'm looking at it now, this is actually <v Speaker 1>kind of awesome. It's kind of maybe even like game <v Speaker 1>of the Year. Yeah, I'm really liking this Now. I <v Speaker 1>might spend a lot of money and everyone's just spend <v Speaker 1>a lot of money on micro transaction. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, we're honestly, Hey, Nintendo is fa We're. <v Speaker 1>Big fans Nintendo. If you if you happen to be watching, <v Speaker 1>big fan Yeah, Deco maker, Deco make or decor maker? Right, Okay, <v Speaker 1>interesting cute? You can make your little guy. There is <v Speaker 1>so much here ugc test people people die if they fail. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, do you think that this is like what does <v Speaker 2>that mean? Is this like Nintendo Roadblocks though? Like, because <v Speaker 2>it seems like it seems like there's a lot of <v Speaker 2>game modes that could just do what I. <v Speaker 1>Mean you know, yeah, you're onto something that it would <v Speaker 1>be interesting too, Like you know how Roadblocks recently had <v Speaker 1>that dress to impress mode that blew up, right, Yeah, <v Speaker 1>I mean yeah, I mean if people can make their <v Speaker 1>own modes, it looks like that's kind of what this <v Speaker 1>is here. Almost people are taking some kind of test. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, because people are just like I mean, we heard <v Speaker 2>like MMO right and like Roadbucks. Roadbucks I wouldn't call <v Speaker 2>an MMO, but it's like it's got MMO elements to <v Speaker 2>it in some way. Right. <v Speaker 1>Where are we at? Sorry? <v Speaker 2>What time is it we are at? Thirty one minutes. <v Speaker 1>Okay, we should do the sponsor and then we can <v Speaker 1>get back to this after because there's a lot more. <v Speaker 1>It keeps calling. We'll see if it's still here when <v Speaker 1>we get back from the sponsor. <v Speaker 2>Okay, I'm with it all right. <v Speaker 1>Cue the sponsor music. <v Speaker 2>Is it just the non tender music? I don't know. <v Speaker 1>We should get sponsor music though we've never actually had any. <v Speaker 1>I was just kidding. <v Speaker 2>I'll throw some Nontendo music on. Why not? There you go. <v Speaker 1>That's nice. Yeah, you can put the thing up. Oh <v Speaker 1>my god, look at us. Yeah, professionals over here. I <v Speaker 1>made it fade in and everything. All right, everybody. This <v Speaker 1>episode of the Nontendo Podcast is sponsored by Trade Trade Coffee. <v Speaker 1>So glad to be talking about trade again. I've had <v Speaker 1>my little Trade monk on the on the table this <v Speaker 1>whole time, and I've been dying to open this bag <v Speaker 1>with you guys. I couldn't do it last week because <v Speaker 1>I was sick, and this bag's been Actually no, this <v Speaker 1>bag's fresh bag was from yesterday. There was another bag <v Speaker 1>I was waiting for that I ended up opening. I think, yeah, <v Speaker 1>I think Kim said this one came yesterday. Oh oh, <v Speaker 1>it smells so good. There's nothing like fresh beans being <v Speaker 1>delivered straight to your door. I actually got a text <v Speaker 1>from friend of the show Bob yesterday because he got <v Speaker 1>beans in the mail yesterday from trade yea, and he said, <v Speaker 1>these beans are so good you should try them. Let <v Speaker 1>me see if I can actually pull that up real quick. <v Speaker 1>This one is Novo Espresso del Fuego. <v Speaker 2>I just love the way that you say things. <v Speaker 1>Sometimes Novo novo novo it says toasted caramel. There these <v Speaker 1>are the tasting notes. Oh yeah, toasted caramel, nutty and full. <v Speaker 2>Can you toss it over here so I can smell. <v Speaker 1>It, take a sniff. So the one that why did I. <v Speaker 2>Cut the camera to me so I could catch it poorly? <v Speaker 2>I don't know. <v Speaker 1>Go ahead, Bob sent me Cerberus Coffee. So so the <v Speaker 1>brand is Cerberus Coffee. And then the type was Wizard Cat, <v Speaker 1>which had an notes of chocolate, fruity and berry. And <v Speaker 1>he said it was he said this shiit slaps by <v Speaker 1>the way from trade was his exact words. <v Speaker 2>True. <v Speaker 1>We both love trade. We've always loved trade. It's all <v Speaker 1>local roasters. I actually found a company called Reanimated Coffee. <v Speaker 1>There's several coffee shops in Philadelphia. They're awesome. There's one <v Speaker 1>not too far from here. And I found them because <v Speaker 1>trade sources local independent roasters. And I got reanimated beans <v Speaker 1>in the mail. It came from right down the street, <v Speaker 1>like thirty minutes away. I got the beans the next day. <v Speaker 1>Can you throw that bag back to me? Actually for <v Speaker 1>the read I want to see when it was roasted. <v Speaker 1>I'm gonna try my best here, uddy, you did it. <v Speaker 1>You did great, did fantastic. <v Speaker 2>Throw. <v Speaker 1>This was roasted on October seventeen. So this might be <v Speaker 1>the bag I got in last week actually, but that <v Speaker 1>was last week. This was roasted. Usually they come within <v Speaker 1>a day or two, true, especially when they come from <v Speaker 1>down the street. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>So I'll let you know now not to settle for <v Speaker 1>just okay, coffee head to drink trade dot com, Forward <v Speaker 1>slash Nintendo to receive your first bag for free. I was just thinking about that the <v Speaker 2>other day. <v Speaker 1>I that's another thing that makes coffee such a great <v Speaker 1>gift for people. And if I had anyone in my <v Speaker 1>life that loved coffee as much as me other than <v Speaker 1>Bob who already has Trade, signing them up to Trade <v Speaker 1>would be a great gift. Or even just signing yourself <v Speaker 1>up getting the free bag then giving that to somebody <v Speaker 1>that you love, if you feel like your dad or <v Speaker 1>your mom absolutely loves coffee and you've had that relationship <v Speaker 1>with them, or even like coffee dates are like a <v Speaker 1>good first date thing. Sure, like you take a girl <v Speaker 1>or a boy to like get coffee, and you'll probably <v Speaker 1>always have that memory of, like, we want to get coffee. <v Speaker 2>Boom coffee, Boom coffee. <v Speaker 1>And you can get the beans and grind them yourself <v Speaker 1>like I do, or you can get ground already if <v Speaker 1>you want. It was like going to a diner <v Speaker 1>but fresh. All right, that's it. Thank you for sponsoring. <v Speaker 1>Remember again links down below. I'll go to drinksrede dot com, <v Speaker 1>forward slash nontender. Can you do a really <v Speaker 1>good job for me? <v Speaker 2>Now? I can try my. <v Speaker 1>Best while I ramble. You have access to the episode. <v Speaker 1>I need you to put the trade information in the <v Speaker 1>in the description, all right at the top. I'm going <v Speaker 1>to send it to you, and then I'm going to <v Speaker 1>put in the group chat. I'm gonna get back to <v Speaker 1>doing what I do. I'm gonna throw this in the <v Speaker 1>group chat. I always forget to do this and I <v Speaker 1>always get in trouble. <v Speaker 2>Actually, Max is watching. Couldn't Max do it? <v Speaker 1>Yeah? Max? <v Speaker 2>If you? <v Speaker 1>I mean, I don't know, Max, are you there? <v Speaker 2>But I could? I could tag it because he said <v Speaker 2>he was watching, because he told me Max. Max, by <v Speaker 2>the way, God bless him. He's just like, hey, h <v Speaker 2>all those people in chat are well. I don't want <v Speaker 2>to say he's saying that they're lying, but he's saying <v Speaker 2>the stream is fine from his end, so I'm gonna <v Speaker 2>have to take it on faith that that's the way <v Speaker 2>that it is. So. <v Speaker 1>But yeah, Max, if you could reply to me if <v Speaker 1>you're watching and let me know if you've got that message, <v Speaker 1>I really appreciate it because we need it in there now, <v Speaker 1>we do. We need it in the A S A P. <v Speaker 1>I'm even gonna I'm gonna put it in the in <v Speaker 1>the chat so I don't get in trouble. Sorry about this. <v Speaker 1>Everybody little unprepared on that one. <v Speaker 2>Hey, it'd be would it be Doug uh pin message? <v Speaker 1>We got it, we got it, we so got it. <v Speaker 1>He's not replying, he's probably watching. If you could do it, <v Speaker 1>do me a favor, cut back to my screen and <v Speaker 1>leave me there and then you do that for me. <v Speaker 1>I'd really appreciate it. <v Speaker 2>Oh godcha, you're the best, all right. <v Speaker 1>DPS? What's dps means something per second? Dots per second <v Speaker 1>damage usually, but damage per second. Oh, this is an <v Speaker 1>interesting Oh whoa, whoa, whoa now, oh whoa now, Okay, <v Speaker 1>is that the size of the world that you build on? <v Speaker 1>Because that's crazy big. I Actually I don't have any <v Speaker 1>reference for what's happening. So here we are in the <v Speaker 1>dome and then we cut to another screen. Wow, and <v Speaker 1>this is how big the world is. So here's a question. <v Speaker 1>I don't know if anyone chat knows are all ten <v Speaker 1>thousand people in the same world at the same time because. <v Speaker 2>The grid squares. I see Max is doing it. <v Speaker 1>By the way, Oh thank you Max, because this is <v Speaker 1>that's massive, and there's no way anyone would be able <v Speaker 1>to feel that unless there is like ten thousand people. <v Speaker 2>Right. What's up now? Someone a chat just said this <v Speaker 2>videos on itailable. I don't know. I'm still laughing about it. <v Speaker 1>Oh, here's the clip I saw of two people trying <v Speaker 1>to molte. It was just a funny little clip. They <v Speaker 1>were trying to do a handshake at the top here <v Speaker 1>and they just couldn't get it to work. I guess <v Speaker 1>they were just meeting each other for the first time. <v Speaker 2>Is it is it like? Is it like how they <v Speaker 2>I don't, I don't. I don't want to be too <v Speaker 2>raunchy while we're talking about unreleased Nintendo products, but it <v Speaker 2>kind of reminds me of how they have you know, <v Speaker 2>how they make babies an avatar. <v Speaker 1>You know, they're sharing a developer license here wait what sorry, <v Speaker 1>run that by me again. <v Speaker 2>You know how they make babies and avatar, Yeah, with <v Speaker 2>their ponytails. Yeah, it's kind of what it reminds me of. No, <v Speaker 2>it's not that. Okay, well, I know it's could be. <v Speaker 2>I'm just saying it reminds me of that. <v Speaker 1>H could not, could be, could be. Nintendo definitely could <v Speaker 1>have put sex in the game. I don't know if <v Speaker 1>we should say that right now. Maybe we're already walking <v Speaker 1>thine your developer license, their developer license. So it looks <v Speaker 1>like when they molded and they shook hands, they traded <v Speaker 1>their I guess their stats. I suppose that whatever it <v Speaker 1>is that it also I want to say for audio listeners, <v Speaker 1>I understand we're showing a lot of videos and photos, <v Speaker 1>and sometimes I forget that I'm not explaining myself well <v Speaker 1>and I'm just reacting to it with a guttural reaction. <v Speaker 1>So forgive me. You might need to come to the <v Speaker 1>episode to check that out later, but essentially what we're <v Speaker 1>seeing can still available if you're still available a good point. Essentially, <v Speaker 1>what we're seeing here for audio listeners is a very <v Speaker 1>minecrafty looking world with little chibi characters that are going <v Speaker 1>around and building with blocksting and yeah, I mean that's <v Speaker 1>really that's really it here. With that in mind, I <v Speaker 1>declare you this is a pop up on the screen. <v Speaker 1>With that in mind, I declare you a full fledged developer. <v Speaker 1>We have reached the conclusion of my teachings for the moment, <v Speaker 1>and the development of this world has only just begun. <v Speaker 1>And then we have more. This is like a this <v Speaker 1>is a shop. <v Speaker 2>This is a store here, it's an interesting concept. <v Speaker 1>Spend developer points. I guess for deco, what is deco? <v Speaker 1>I wonder license bonus decorations text? Yeah, I would assume, <v Speaker 1>but it's abbreviated here in the store. <v Speaker 2>Well, it's kind of a thing that they do there <v Speaker 2>for Hobbo, right, you know, for furniture from Dolly. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, this is but your first article of deco. Ordinarily <v Speaker 1>you would get a creation kit and make some yourself. <v Speaker 1>Give deco. You give deco you create to others and <v Speaker 1>receive the DECO they make in return. <v Speaker 2>Ah, so you can make your own stuff. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, well, the whole game is making your own I know. <v Speaker 1>But like you can make your own assets. Is the <v Speaker 1>text signboard? Use your words to convey your feelings, right, <v Speaker 1>and display some text. I feel like that would be <v Speaker 1>similar to uh and like Minecraft when you drop a <v Speaker 1>sign down and you write on it to describe what <v Speaker 1>it is, or in elden Ring when you put a <v Speaker 1>little think I. <v Speaker 2>Got it, Mese people, I got it. Would this is <v Speaker 2>what's going on in Nintendo's mind right now. Okay, they <v Speaker 2>said Twitter is bad these days, We're gonna make our <v Speaker 2>own social media and make it a video game. That's yeah. <v Speaker 1>I don't hate that. I mean that is me, that's <v Speaker 1>me verse true. So a lot of people were speculating <v Speaker 1>that this test was gonna end up being me verse. <v Speaker 1>Obviously it's not, but there are elements to it that <v Speaker 1>are similar. And yeah, to your point, they could me <v Speaker 1>verse this up and make it very social media coded. <v Speaker 1>Can you cut away for one second? There's more I <v Speaker 1>want to show. There's so much here, like I literally <v Speaker 1>found the mother load. But I want to see what <v Speaker 1>Chat's saying here about the game and if I've missed anything, <v Speaker 1>because sometimes I don't look at chat and I go <v Speaker 1>down rabbit holes and then I get carried away chat. <v Speaker 1>Is there anything I've said so far that you want <v Speaker 1>to correct or things you know about the game, or <v Speaker 1>because I only just found out that this is going <v Speaker 1>to be a game and it's not just a test, <v Speaker 1>So please let me know. Otherwise I'm just gonna hear <v Speaker 1>it in the comments and not be able to address it. <v Speaker 1>So let me know. Let me know. Now. I'm just <v Speaker 1>gonna give you guys a second to say something in <v Speaker 1>chat about that, and then we'll get right back to it. <v Speaker 1>But while you're putting things in there. <v Speaker 2>The Nintendo's answer to Concord, what are they talking about <v Speaker 2>the airplane? <v Speaker 1>No, the game. You didn't hear about Concord the video game. No, <v Speaker 1>you didn't hear about Concord the video game. <v Speaker 2>No? <v Speaker 1>Explain are you serious? <v Speaker 2>Yeah? So I'm serious. Wow, pretend I pretend I'm I'm <v Speaker 2>your I'm your your grandpa, right, And I don't know, <v Speaker 2>I don't know. <v Speaker 1>No, it's it's fine. It's just such big news. So <v Speaker 1>PlayStation uh and Sony just spent several years developing essentially <v Speaker 1>like an Overwatch game and reportedly spent anywhere between two <v Speaker 1>hundred to three hundred million dollars making. <v Speaker 2>It, and nobody's playing it now. <v Speaker 1>Worse, it released maybe like a month ago, and then <v Speaker 1>they refunded everybody and removed it to weeks later and <v Speaker 1>it's gone now. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, see I did know about all of that, <v Speaker 2>But I did. I did know about all that. I <v Speaker 2>was just creating a conversation topic for you to say <v Speaker 2>something in case people in chat didn't know. <v Speaker 1>So don't do that to me. I thought I was teaching. <v Speaker 2>I'm totally joking. I had no idea. <v Speaker 1>Really, I don't know what to think. <v Speaker 2>It's good. Hey, you know what, Chat's keeping me on <v Speaker 2>my toes today. I'm gonna keep you on. <v Speaker 1>I'm trying your back hurts? <v Speaker 2>No, I got it. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, that does hurt. Isn't there skateboards. I don't know <v Speaker 1>how I feel about Ninten, drowblocks, interesting, nintend I love <v Speaker 1>everyone here. Let's just watch and have a good time. Octo. <v Speaker 2>What are we? <v Speaker 1>What are we talking about? <v Speaker 2>Who's not having people? It doesn't matter. People are just <v Speaker 2>you know, some people are saying things in chat are <v Speaker 2>getting timed out about me. No, because they're doing they're <v Speaker 2>feigning technical issues or they're they do or they do <v Speaker 2>have technical issues. But that's fine, right. <v Speaker 1>Just the meme of the episode that I created is <v Speaker 1>that the episode got taken down. They're just playing into <v Speaker 1>the mem But there's a difference between like meming about <v Speaker 1>technical issues of like not being able to hear audio <v Speaker 1>and the episode being taken down. You know, I promise <v Speaker 1>you they probably actually think it's being taken Hey, we can, <v Speaker 1>so we don't. <v Speaker 2>We don't have to talk about this even at all. <v Speaker 2>It's okay. <v Speaker 1>I love everybody watching, but some people don't really think. <v Speaker 1>Some people think one directionally and they might have just <v Speaker 1>seen I know, not a good time to bring that up, <v Speaker 1>but some people might have just seen the thumbnail and <v Speaker 1>actually thought something's happening. <v Speaker 2>Bro, It's so hard to bite my tongue on this podcast. <v Speaker 2>Sometimes I want to make jokes and I know it's <v Speaker 2>not the place for it. <v Speaker 1>I'm there with you most of the time. Chat's fine, <v Speaker 1>let them let chat be chat. People are being mean time, <v Speaker 1>If they're being mean, time them out for sure. For sure, <v Speaker 1>I didn't. I got a little distracted there. I didn't <v Speaker 1>quite catch anything in chat that Did you see anything <v Speaker 1>that people saying I was missing or I was uninformed <v Speaker 1>ill informed on this topic, I don't know. <v Speaker 2>I just like the non Tendro blocks comment. <v Speaker 1>Nintendo Blocks is pretty good. All right, then I'm gonna <v Speaker 1>keep going then, because I don't think I missed anything, right, Yeah, <v Speaker 1>I don't think so. <v Speaker 2>All right, But to answer the question from before, from <v Speaker 2>that chatter, this is not a Nintendo's answer to concord. <v Speaker 2>It doesn't seem like it anyways. <v Speaker 1>I don't actually don't even understand what they mean by that. <v Speaker 2>It was a joke, so stepping chat. All right. <v Speaker 1>So here we have some kind of grapple hook. It <v Speaker 1>says Splatoon three zip Caster. Weird comparison, I guess because <v Speaker 1>it's I mean, yeah, I mean, I guess, but it <v Speaker 1>is just a grapple hook. Uh, okay, cute. Here's some <v Speaker 1>more screenshots of I guess, some kind of hub world. <v Speaker 1>I don't know if this was man user built. <v Speaker 2>Or part of it. Is this all from the one guy? Yeah, <v Speaker 2>that's crazy. <v Speaker 1>That's what I mean. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>I think this is the only like mega dump online <v Speaker 1>that's left. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Uh, this is the dev shop. You should do well <v Speaker 1>to check on this regularly. Dev mind. Congratulations, your development <v Speaker 1>level has risen to one. Yeah, just more shots of <v Speaker 1>like tasks. They're doing. Very good. Oh, here's some actual <v Speaker 1>crafting here. Oh I didn't think I oh, I should <v Speaker 1>have blown this up the whole time. Very good now, <v Speaker 1>aim to get five hundred dead points, no way to <v Speaker 1>get higher, create your own by fusing pieces. So here <v Speaker 1>we see a little bit of the actual crafting, and <v Speaker 1>again I think the whole aim is just to build up. <v Speaker 1>I'm not sure to what end or to what goal why. <v Speaker 1>Uh would would be easier to tell if I've played it, <v Speaker 1>of course. <v Speaker 2>I don't know, because you know what, there's there's a <v Speaker 2>thing that my friend recently shared with me, and like <v Speaker 2>Dolly and I both like looked at it. It was like <v Speaker 2>a little like online game thing as an in browser game, <v Speaker 2>where like it was similar to like a roadblocks type thing, <v Speaker 2>but you know, you could make your own assets and <v Speaker 2>like a small creator type thing, Like it would still <v Speaker 2>be like cube like assets and stuff, but then in <v Speaker 2>the actual real game they would shrink down. I think <v Speaker 2>maybe that is something kind of like what they're doing <v Speaker 2>when it comes to like making your own assets and <v Speaker 2>then giving them to other people. Yeah, right, I think <v Speaker 2>that could be cool. <v Speaker 1>I kind of like the idea of being able to <v Speaker 1>craft something and then give it as a gift. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, like imagine like you make you know, a giant <v Speaker 2>I don't know, statue, statue of liberty, right, and then <v Speaker 2>the game shrinks it down and then you can basically <v Speaker 2>pass it off to somebody as like an object for <v Speaker 2>them to use. <v Speaker 1>You know, it wouldn't be the first time that was <v Speaker 1>given as a gift. True, for some reason, that was smart. <v Speaker 1>That was that was smart. <v Speaker 2>You know. But here I was just going to invalidate <v Speaker 2>your smart you know what. Never mind, it's fine, you're smart. <v Speaker 1>Would I'm very smart, very smart from the French who <v Speaker 1>gave Oh, there you go. I took an American exam <v Speaker 1>relatively recently. I also live pretty near that statue, so <v Speaker 1>I think I by default have to know that. I'm <v Speaker 1>sure that's not true for most people that live near it, <v Speaker 1>but I feel like it is. <v Speaker 2>Enough should be all right. <v Speaker 1>I mean, what do you want from me? I think <v Speaker 1>we're getting. I think that was it actually okay. I <v Speaker 1>think that's everything that this this user has shared. <v Speaker 2>I mean that was a good amount of stuff. <v Speaker 1>So much. I mean, what else could you really ask for? <v Speaker 1>I mean there's some kind of even. <v Speaker 2>You could ask for access to the game. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, true, there's some kind of enemy here actually, and <v Speaker 1>they're attacking it. This is something we haven't seen interesting, <v Speaker 1>So there there is somewhat combat in the game, and yes, <v Speaker 1>somewhat of an enemy. And now why is the enemy <v Speaker 1>in this person's bubble? I don't know, you think that <v Speaker 1>would be Oh they get something for killing it, a horn. <v Speaker 2>It's all very confusing to me. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, no, it's not that. All the jargon on the <v Speaker 1>screen too, if that makes any sense to me. My <v Speaker 1>biggest question that I have. <v Speaker 2>Its confusion is probably exactly why Nintendo didn't want people <v Speaker 2>to see it. <v Speaker 1>Maybe my biggest question I have, and I don't know <v Speaker 1>if anyone in chat has actually played this game to <v Speaker 1>be able to tell us, is this one here is? <v Speaker 1>Are we all playing on the same world? That is <v Speaker 1>what it looks like, because look how big it looks like. <v Speaker 1>Looks pretty massive. This would need ten thousand people to <v Speaker 1>actually flesh it out. <v Speaker 2>I mean need more than ten thousand actually flesh it <v Speaker 2>out right. That size, I mean, that's nuts. Yeah, that <v Speaker 2>is that. It looks like it's basically an Earth size <v Speaker 2>you know. Yeah, very curious about that. That's actually really <v Speaker 2>interesting to me. Yeah, all right, that's everything. That's all <v Speaker 2>I found. But what if the game becomes pay to <v Speaker 2>win for in game real estate? Right, like, well, where were. <v Speaker 1>Those micro transactions we can I mean, I guess it's <v Speaker 1>just these ones here, but I say, oh, this is <v Speaker 1>just for money, This is just to buy money. <v Speaker 2>Okay, So because like if you could buy plots of land, <v Speaker 2>then it's kind of curtains, right. <v Speaker 1>And question, and it's like, yeah, has Nintendo got and <v Speaker 1>maybe I'm dumb, has Nintendo got any first party Nintendo <v Speaker 1>developed Slash published games currently on the Switch that have <v Speaker 1>micro transactions. <v Speaker 2>First party with micro transactions? <v Speaker 1>Chat help me out here, chat help us out, because <v Speaker 1>obviously they have mobile games and and and I've made <v Speaker 1>a video in the past about micro transactions in that <v Speaker 1>mobile games are pretty pretty predatory, especially in games like <v Speaker 1>I know game Pokemon's more Niantic and game Freak, but <v Speaker 1>it is owned by Nintendo. And don't get me started <v Speaker 1>on micro transactions and Pokemon Go, because I think they're <v Speaker 1>really gross. They recently added a new thing where you know, <v Speaker 1>when you go to your eggs to incubate eggs. Sure, <v Speaker 1>now you know when you would select your incubators. <v Speaker 2>You're talking about in Pokemon Go. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, now they've recently added when you go there, there <v Speaker 1>will be an option to buy one. <v Speaker 2>Know it's crazy actually, since you say that, like because <v Speaker 2>I I haven't I haven't touched Pokemon Go in weeks, <v Speaker 2>but I keep getting notifications that I have an egg <v Speaker 2>that's about to hatch, right, so that's probably there, But <v Speaker 2>that's probably either way of looping me into that. <v Speaker 1>Specific Do you have an egg to hatch? <v Speaker 2>But you have to have the game like running in <v Speaker 2>order for it to count for you to have like, no, <v Speaker 2>it does it offline. Yeah, but if you just if <v Speaker 2>you just don't open the game ever, why would it <v Speaker 2>give you credit for the distance that you walk? And no, <v Speaker 2>it does just I guess I'm just dumb. I guess <v Speaker 2>I just have eggs that need to. <v Speaker 1>Every every time I open my game, because I open <v Speaker 1>it every few, like weeks, there's always an egg to <v Speaker 1>that needs hatching because I've just been walking around in life. Okay, um, <v Speaker 1>there's there isn't Super Kirby Clash. <v Speaker 2>Okay, what are the what kind of transactions are there? <v Speaker 1>And super kind of and Super Kirby Clash is the <v Speaker 1>only one I can think of. But that's also not <v Speaker 1>directly Nintender DC is not micro transaction, said someone. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>that's stressed not not because people are saying Mario Cutt <v Speaker 1>Splatoon and Smash Bros. And all of those are incorrect. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>well no, well it depends how you want to think <v Speaker 1>about it. But Smash Bros. No not really. I was <v Speaker 1>gonna say the the but that's doc the characters of DC. <v Speaker 1>I don't think you can buy skins in Smash Bro. <v Speaker 1>You can't buy outfits. It's all unlockable. I'm pretty sure. <v Speaker 1>So yeah, I think Chat is right. I think the <v Speaker 1>only one would be Kirby Clash, and I would argue <v Speaker 1>that that's not necessarily Nintendo. I would say that this <v Speaker 1>does seem to be the first Nintendo published and developed <v Speaker 1>game that has micro transactions, right, And we're. <v Speaker 2>Going to say that confidently, even though we might be confident. <v Speaker 1>Well, I don't know if I sounded confident when I <v Speaker 1>said it. <v Speaker 2>No, it's okay, let's let's let's let's lean into it <v Speaker 2>one hundred percent, because anybody that wants to be out <v Speaker 2>here and be like, what's confidently wrong on this one? <v Speaker 1>You know, let's just lean I'm confident. I could be wrong, <v Speaker 1>but I'm confident. I don't know how I feel about <v Speaker 1>that one. I mean, I guess it's it is just <v Speaker 1>some new little weird MMO thing you can't really do <v Speaker 1>a free to play MMO without micro transactions. <v Speaker 2>Is well, is it going to be free to play? <v Speaker 2>That's the real question. <v Speaker 1>No, you saw, it has to be I did. <v Speaker 2>I did see, but I know, but I also you know, <v Speaker 2>I've seen what Nintendo puts out for seventy dollars, so <v Speaker 2>you know, I don't know. <v Speaker 1>Man Unite Unite has them. In my opinion, well, Unite again, <v Speaker 1>that would be buying characters. <v Speaker 2>No, also Unite is Unite technically first party. <v Speaker 1>Unite, but it would be it would be game Freak, <v Speaker 1>it would be game Freak and Pokemon adjacent, but Nintendo adjacent. <v Speaker 2>But I think we're gonna I think that if if <v Speaker 2>it's just if it's characters, or if it's levels or tracks, <v Speaker 2>I guess pokem or in Mario Kart, that's just DLC right. <v Speaker 1>I'm trying to remember the situation with Unite. I know <v Speaker 1>it was pay to win, and I don't think it <v Speaker 1>was characters. I think you could buy items for the <v Speaker 1>characters that that improved them, So I think that's good call. <v Speaker 1>I think again, I would just say that that is <v Speaker 1>not developed by Nintendo. I would it probably would have <v Speaker 1>been published by Nintendo, though, who published Pokemon Unite. It's <v Speaker 1>also a mobile game. Yeah, the Pokemon Company published by <v Speaker 1>the Pokemon Company. So yeah, it's not published by Nintendo. <v Speaker 1>It's close, It's definitely close. But I think even that, <v Speaker 1>I would say is not uh developed and published by Nintendo, right, <v Speaker 1>I think it could be. Again, I'm just I'm talking aloud. <v Speaker 1>I haven't. I'm having this thought now and I'm thinking <v Speaker 1>through it. I feel like I so often say things <v Speaker 1>on this podcast that I'm like thinking through in the moment, <v Speaker 1>and then everyone's like, how could would be wrong? I'm <v Speaker 1>just thinking, I'm just thinking through. Yeah, but I'm pretty <v Speaker 1>sure that Pokemon and Kirby would be separate than to <v Speaker 1>my whole point, is Nintendo published and developed? I think <v Speaker 1>this is going to be their first game that has <v Speaker 1>micro transactions on a console and not a mobile device. <v Speaker 2>How do you How do you feel about that? <v Speaker 1>I feel a little. I feel a little skeevy about it, <v Speaker 1>only because I just don't like the idea that Nintendo <v Speaker 1>is thinking about this stuff. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>That said again, this is a new thing. It's an <v Speaker 1>online free to play MMO. <v Speaker 2>These are kind of certain game models like this kind <v Speaker 2>of they need micro micro transactions. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, so you know, it's fine. I don't want to <v Speaker 1>get to a point where we're paying for skins and <v Speaker 1>Smash Brothers, like you know, used to get eight free ones, <v Speaker 1>but now you get eight free color swaps. But if <v Speaker 1>you want to put a hat on Captain Falcon, you <v Speaker 1>got to pay ten dollars. And I'm kind of like <v Speaker 1>how Halo added cat Is onto my spot and helmet <v Speaker 1>and I did happily pay ten dollars, but still dumb. <v Speaker 2>I will say, though, like, since we can confidently make <v Speaker 2>the assertion that Nintendo has never done first party games <v Speaker 2>with micro transactions, and therefore, I think it's safe to <v Speaker 2>give the benefit of the doubt that they're not going <v Speaker 2>to be paid to win hopefully right, which it doesn't <v Speaker 2>seem like that would be the case. <v Speaker 1>Even necessarily yea, in a game like Right, it. <v Speaker 2>Wouldn't be paid to win. And also it just kind <v Speaker 2>of feels like it's something that they just need to include, <v Speaker 2>right you know, like. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, I agree, yeah, yeah, I don't want it <v Speaker 1>to bleed into any other games. Yeah, And I don't <v Speaker 1>think Nintendo has that mentality. It's just you see, like <v Speaker 1>you know, growing up with games, I can't give you <v Speaker 1>specific examples, but you see companies like you'd be Soft <v Speaker 1>and EA when they started to just dabble in micro transactions. <v Speaker 1>You know, they would make like a free to play game, <v Speaker 1>or they would do something where it's like, well it <v Speaker 1>makes sense in this case, and then all of a <v Speaker 1>sudden you're having to buy AMMO and Dead Space three <v Speaker 1>or you know, I think even Assassin's Creed Valhola had <v Speaker 1>a ton of micro transactions, and it's like, why do <v Speaker 1>these games have it? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, Sergeant Noman Chad says, according to a screen rant, <v Speaker 2>Adam Across, Pocket Camp, Mario Kart Tour, and Super Kirby <v Speaker 2>Clash are the only Nintendo published games with micro transactions. <v Speaker 2>But I know that two of those are. <v Speaker 1>Mobile, right, Yeah, so Supercuby Clash is. <v Speaker 2>Super Kirby Clash. I've never even heard of that until <v Speaker 2>right now. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. No, that was a Yeah, that was a weird game. <v Speaker 1>That was a weird Kirby spinoff game. I don't think <v Speaker 1>it was developed by Nintendo, but obviously published by Nintendo. <v Speaker 1>So that's that's our closest comparison here for sure. Somebody said, <v Speaker 1>I mean, this isn't an actual game it's just a test. <v Speaker 1>It is worth saying we don't know what this is yet, <v Speaker 1>you are our one hundred percent right. I thought it <v Speaker 1>was just a test. But it does have micro transactions. <v Speaker 1>And I don't know why anybody would want to spend <v Speaker 1>money on this if it was going away in a week, right, <v Speaker 1>I don't know why Nintendo would add micro That seems <v Speaker 1>really predatory too, for Nintendo to be like, we're gonna <v Speaker 1>only select ten thousand of you lucky people, and this <v Speaker 1>game is going to be around for just one or <v Speaker 1>two weeks. Also, here a way to give us money. <v Speaker 1>That's kind of gross, that's kind of skivy. <v Speaker 2>Was it? Well? I didn't know. I feel like, look <v Speaker 2>at this. <v Speaker 1>To be a thing that's going to continue. <v Speaker 2>I thought that we were just looking at the screen <v Speaker 2>for it. That it wasn't like you were were was <v Speaker 2>the person that was playing on the test able to <v Speaker 2>buy shit? <v Speaker 1>Yeah? <v Speaker 2>Look like it? Or because I thought maybe it's just <v Speaker 2>it's not like a function, like a functional thing. I <v Speaker 2>thought it was maybe just they put the screen there <v Speaker 2>for it go back. <v Speaker 1>So what it's saying here, and I mean I want <v Speaker 1>to say too, the full game will have micro transactions, <v Speaker 1>it's is obviously according to Femboy Furry which take or <v Speaker 1>leave it. You know, it's a Harry situation. It is <v Speaker 1>a hairy situation, but obtainable for free once. So you <v Speaker 1>can get two hundred and six hundred eighteen forty fifty <v Speaker 1>one time. <v Speaker 2>Huh. <v Speaker 1>Then after that at the e Shop and that is <v Speaker 1>a micro transaction. There's no other way, you know the reason. <v Speaker 2>One hundred percent. I'm just saying that, like right now, <v Speaker 2>there's not going to be anything on the e Shop <v Speaker 2>for this though. <v Speaker 1>Right now, I don't know. No, they'd have to have <v Speaker 1>a screenshot of that. I don't so. I don't think <v Speaker 1>you can take a screenshot of the e Shop on <v Speaker 1>a switch. So assuming this user is just taking screenshots <v Speaker 1>using the capture feature, I don't know if they have <v Speaker 1>the ability. They just said, I hope it's only for cosmetics. <v Speaker 1>This is the comments I'm reading. Someone else just said, <v Speaker 1>ship Yeah, okay, so you're you're paying a sub to play. <v Speaker 1>You're paying a sub to play the game, but you <v Speaker 1>also have to pay for in game currency. <v Speaker 2>Why do you have to pay a sub to play? <v Speaker 1>There's a subscription to play. <v Speaker 2>Are they just talking about Nintendo Online? <v Speaker 1>Like yes, yes, that's what they're talking about. <v Speaker 2>You're right. <v Speaker 1>This uh, this is literally how most f TWP work <v Speaker 1>on consoles. <v Speaker 2>I know that. <v Speaker 1>But if Nintendo would charge sixty for it, if they're well, <v Speaker 1>they're not going this is just this is just random comments. No, yeah, <v Speaker 1>you go to the you go to the e shop <v Speaker 1>and you buy these after. <v Speaker 2>So you so, your your guess is that this is <v Speaker 2>going to be free. <v Speaker 1>To play for free to play, but as that person <v Speaker 1>pointed out, you'll have to have the Nintendo Online subscription <v Speaker 1>model for at least like five dollars a month or <v Speaker 1>whatever it is, five dollars a year. How much is <v Speaker 1>it now? I don't even know. <v Speaker 2>I have no idea. I thought it was five dollars. <v Speaker 2>I thought it was like six dollars for three months <v Speaker 2>or something like that. I'm not sure i'd pay. <v Speaker 1>Like fifty or something because I've got the big the <v Speaker 1>big boy one. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, the big boy. <v Speaker 1>Let me see what chat's saying cut away so I <v Speaker 1>can bring up chat. Yeah, I got better games to <v Speaker 1>play that don't have micro transactions. Well, yeah, of course <v Speaker 1>you don't have to play this. I don't even see <v Speaker 1>it as something that I'm going to invest time in <v Speaker 1>at all or want to put money into. If this <v Speaker 1>is the way the game is going to look when <v Speaker 1>it releases, I don't imagine too many people will be <v Speaker 1>investing time or money into it. Maybe it's more fun <v Speaker 1>than it looks. <v Speaker 2>I don't know, it's not. It's it's not gonna look <v Speaker 2>like this when it comes out. <v Speaker 1>So that's your that's your claim, that's your stake that <v Speaker 1>you're confidently wrong. <v Speaker 2>No, I mean I'm confidently right about it because it's <v Speaker 2>in like pre pre alpha, right, yeah, Like there's no <v Speaker 2>there's no way that that's the final look of the <v Speaker 2>game that they're going for, right you know. <v Speaker 1>Um yeah, yeah, yeah, I think we've talked about it. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>I don't really know where else to go. That's that's <v Speaker 1>where it is. Now. Let's see if this episode stays up. <v Speaker 1>If you're seeing it now for the for the first <v Speaker 1>time live, you might be the only one If if <v Speaker 1>whatever reason, this goes down, what I'll probably have to <v Speaker 1>do is get the raw blur everything out. I'll probably <v Speaker 1>have to literally blur out the whole episode and then <v Speaker 1>re upload it. Yeah, if this goes down, that's all <v Speaker 1>I can do. <v Speaker 2>It's a good thing that you took that moment there <v Speaker 2>to explain the situation to the audio only listeners. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, audio listeners, if you're listening to this and you <v Speaker 1>notice the blur, now you know why. <v Speaker 2>Hey, everyone in chat right now, just say I was <v Speaker 2>here so you could say that you saw. <v Speaker 1>All right, we got some more things to look at. <v Speaker 1>One of them is this, and how wanted to talk <v Speaker 1>about it? The Analog three D. The future is here. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>introducing Analog three D. So this, to cut to the chase, <v Speaker 1>is a four K. It's TENO sixty four. It's two <v Speaker 1>hundred and fifty dollars. I've had my finger on the <v Speaker 1>trigger for a while and I haven't committed yet. Are <v Speaker 1>you committed? <v Speaker 2>Absolutely not. I will not buy this because I don't <v Speaker 2>need it, and I could think of a lot of <v Speaker 2>things to spend my money on. But I think it <v Speaker 2>looks really cool. <v Speaker 1>Does looks really cool? <v Speaker 2>It looks really cool. <v Speaker 1>So here's why it's cool. It's a reimagining of the <v Speaker 1>N sixty four in four K resolution, ten times the <v Speaker 1>resolution of the original sixty four, the first and perhaps <v Speaker 1>greatest multiplayer system of all time. Analog three D is <v Speaker 1>one hundred percent compatible with every original N sixty four <v Speaker 1>game ever made. So I could be wrong you preface that, <v Speaker 1>but I'm pretty sure what analog does is it like <v Speaker 1>it's an emulator, So you put the game in and <v Speaker 1>they'll read the game. Then it will say it. <v Speaker 2>In the same way that the analog pocket works. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>game Boy Color game Boy. Now, some people have an <v Speaker 2>issue with that. I don't care, but some people think <v Speaker 2>it's not true. You're not truly playing the game on <v Speaker 2>the cart right. Would the same people have an issue <v Speaker 2>with you showing footage from a game that hasn't been <v Speaker 2>released yet. <v Speaker 1>The same people would have an issue with pretty much <v Speaker 1>everything I do online. Any Yah, It's kind of like <v Speaker 1>a lose lose for me. This is region free Bluetooth <v Speaker 1>l E dual band Wi Fi for original style controller port. <v Speaker 1>I love that it has the original control yes ports, <v Speaker 1>so you can literally just plug in an N sixty <v Speaker 1>four controller, which is awesome. Entirely new next generation analog <v Speaker 1>hardware featuring three d O s. I don't know. No <v Speaker 1>one care engineered entirely in FPGA. Don't understand. Oh no <v Speaker 1>emulation huh? Confidently me again, I didn't too. What do <v Speaker 1>you mean emulation? It says one hundred percent compatible with <v Speaker 1>every N sixty four game. Oh yeah, if it's not emulating, <v Speaker 1>of course, well. <v Speaker 2>Okay, yeah, but it's also region free right so wait, wait. <v Speaker 1>Wait, wait wait, they say it's not emulation. This was <v Speaker 1>a thing Bob taught me about this. That's a Bob question. <v Speaker 1>This is a Bob question. Should I call him? <v Speaker 2>Maybe you should, I'm not going to. <v Speaker 1>I'm not going to call him. So they say it's <v Speaker 1>not emulation, but the hardcore people say it is. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>that's what I remember, right, I don't. I don't know <v Speaker 1>why I'm not into this. I'm not. I don't know. <v Speaker 2>I'm sure Bob has a video about it. <v Speaker 1>I'm sure Bob talked about it on the Wolf Dawn <v Speaker 1>podcast this week. Go watch that for sure. Someone in <v Speaker 1>the comments will let us know as well. You know, <v Speaker 1>it's really cool. The controller. I don't know if I <v Speaker 1>guess this controller comes with it. It looks like a <v Speaker 1>pro controller from PGA. <v Speaker 2>Processors emulate other processors, allowing them to work like the <v Speaker 2>original hardware, is what all Bright says and chat. So <v Speaker 2>it's not emulating, it's not yeah, call me pedantic. It's <v Speaker 2>not emulating the game, but it's emulating the processor. So <v Speaker 2>I don't know. <v Speaker 1>Well, yeah, I don't know. It's weird. Then I guess, <v Speaker 1>because I guess you are you are playing the game. Then, yeah, <v Speaker 1>you are playing the game. Well you are playing the game? Yeah, <v Speaker 1>I never you're playing the cartridge. <v Speaker 2>I never had any doubt about that, right, what I mean, <v Speaker 2>what do you think that they're doing that? They're just <v Speaker 2>going to read the cart and be like, okay, we <v Speaker 2>this is this is Golden Eye. We're going to pull <v Speaker 2>it from our internet repo of. <v Speaker 1>The thought too far into it. But yeah, I assume. <v Speaker 2>They no, because they're not doing that on the analog pocket, <v Speaker 2>you know, like they're I don't know how it works. <v Speaker 2>I don't know. Okay, but your analog pocket doesn't connect <v Speaker 2>to the internet, does it. <v Speaker 1>So no, I thought they would just like build. Idn't know. <v Speaker 1>I never really thought about it too hot. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>When I when I bought my r G r G <v Speaker 1>thirty five, it came with every game on it. <v Speaker 2>That's that's the r G thirty five XCES. Yeah. <v Speaker 1>I know, Well I'm assuming that they just they. <v Speaker 2>Just have the it was totally separate company, and then <v Speaker 2>it reads it and it's like, oh, well, we'll load <v Speaker 2>that rom that we have here. Yeah, but Analog is <v Speaker 2>not putting out like they're not putting out hardware that <v Speaker 2>comes with like illegal ship. <v Speaker 1>You know, I understand. I'm learning that through you. Now, <v Speaker 1>don't be mad. I'm not being mad being so aggressive. <v Speaker 1>I just I just nicely Okay, all right, I'm sorry. <v Speaker 1>I don't know how. I don't have a single product. <v Speaker 2>All right from so so a cone or sorry, a <v Speaker 2>cylinder as a flat top A dome has a rounded. <v Speaker 1>Time, right, yeah, okay, I don't know how it works. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, okay. <v Speaker 1>I always thought it was emulation, which in my mind <v Speaker 1>meant it wasn't playing the cart so what was it playing? <v Speaker 1>It had to be a wrong. That's just where my <v Speaker 1>brain went, Well. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, but it's like emulation means it's emulating the But you. <v Speaker 1>Just found that out too. Why are you acting like <v Speaker 1>you knew. <v Speaker 2>I'm not. I didn't just find that out. <v Speaker 1>You just read a comment and we were like. <v Speaker 2>Okay, no, no, because I read a comment because I <v Speaker 2>didn't understand. <v Speaker 1>This episode gets taken down. I never want to watch <v Speaker 1>this back. <v Speaker 2>No, I understand the concept of emulation, do you, yes? Like, <v Speaker 2>but I'm saying like, like they're they're emulating a processor <v Speaker 2>rather than emulating the system, you know, like, so it <v Speaker 2>is pedantic, it's exactly what you said. <v Speaker 1>But they're still dating the cartry for admitting I was right. <v Speaker 2>Okay, it was. Yeah, it was very big of me. <v Speaker 2>All right. <v Speaker 1>You know, you know what's happening right now. I'm leaning <v Speaker 1>into that stupid thing again for comedy. Yeah, and I <v Speaker 1>feel like I know you are. But people are going <v Speaker 1>to watch it and they're going to be like, why was. <v Speaker 2>Such a dick to I feel like I was the <v Speaker 2>one being a dick this time. <v Speaker 1>It was funny. I thought it was funny. Yeah, I <v Speaker 1>feel like I don't. I don't. I think I think <v Speaker 1>there's a smaller section of people that watch me that <v Speaker 1>realize when I'm being the way I on purpose then <v Speaker 1>the people that don't. And I don't know why because <v Speaker 1>I've been this way for so long. I'm just a <v Speaker 1>goofy guy. I'm just a goofy, little silly guy. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>and you know what you are? Cute, A cute, little <v Speaker 1>silly goofy man. <v Speaker 2>I wouldn't say little, but okay, I have to go there. <v Speaker 1>The unmistakable signature and soul of the CRT on your <v Speaker 1>HDTV in four K, all right, we get it. I <v Speaker 1>want one, but two point fifty is pretty steep for <v Speaker 1>my blood. I got to be honest. Yeah, But the <v Speaker 1>idea of having an N sixty four that I could <v Speaker 1>put on that TV behind you and just stick in <v Speaker 1>any game and play a sixty four game that will <v Speaker 1>just actually work without me having a hopefully blow on <v Speaker 1>it a thousand times and play it in four K, <v Speaker 1>that's pretty cool. <v Speaker 2>I mean, you still might have to blow into it. <v Speaker 1>There is a N sixty four behind you right now. <v Speaker 1>That's blue and yellow my colors. Bob got me that <v Speaker 1>with the I forget the company that made the HD adapter, <v Speaker 1>and I could technically just do the same thing. It <v Speaker 1>won't be four K, but I never do it because <v Speaker 1>I'm like, it's also it's very fiddly. Yeah, Like I've <v Speaker 1>got to like put the the adapt to in and out. <v Speaker 1>I got to like keep it never works, it never works. <v Speaker 2>Yoh, here's a good idea million dollar idea right here, <v Speaker 2>Maybe a million dollars, but one hundred thousand dollars idea. Okay, <v Speaker 2>and maybe this is an idea for either you or <v Speaker 2>for Bob. <v Speaker 1>I'm listening. <v Speaker 2>Probably a bob thing because it's a hardware thing, right. <v Speaker 2>I'm here with you, Okay, But you take a Nintendo <v Speaker 2>sixty four, right, or you can take an Analog sixty <v Speaker 2>four whatever that's called, whatever it's called, and you modify <v Speaker 2>it so that it accepts a keyboard cleaner canister, right, <v Speaker 2>and then the slot itself will blow the game dust <v Speaker 2>or the game the dust inside the cartridge out of <v Speaker 2>it as you put the cartridge into the ND sixty four. <v Speaker 1>When you think about that, love, what your head's at. <v Speaker 1>I don't think you're supposed to blow. Well, it's for <v Speaker 1>the dust, right, yeah, but I think they tell you <v Speaker 1>that it doesn't actually help. And I don't know, come on, <v Speaker 1>are you serious? It's dust dust like blocks the leads? <v Speaker 2>I think what it is? <v Speaker 1>I agree, but I think what I think it's. I <v Speaker 1>think the more you take it in and out, eventually <v Speaker 1>it just works. <v Speaker 2>Sure. <v Speaker 1>But because you're blowing in it, you think that's what's <v Speaker 1>doing it. <v Speaker 2>Right, But you're blowing the dust out right, and keep <v Speaker 2>putting it if you believe me, I'm blowing is half <v Speaker 2>the fun, you know. <v Speaker 1>Blowing is all the fun. <v Speaker 2>Blowing is. It's a lot of fun to. <v Speaker 1>Blow, just not to suck. Yeah, you get it. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, you don't want to, don't want to in your <v Speaker 2>throat or anything like. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you don't want to. <v Speaker 2>You don't want to choke on that. You know. <v Speaker 1>Not good, not good, bad news all around. Anyways, Sonic <v Speaker 1>got good reviews. The only other thing and that's all <v Speaker 1>I'm going to say about Sonic. It got a nine <v Speaker 1>from I g N the New Sonic game. The only <v Speaker 1>other thing I had on my list is my party <v Speaker 1>Jamboree come came out. But honestly, I have a video <v Speaker 1>that will hopefully be up tomorrow about the game. So <v Speaker 1>I don't want to give away too much. I just <v Speaker 1>really like it. I might stream more of it tonight <v Speaker 1>on Twitch. That's the plan. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. So I'd love to play, but I'm going to <v Speaker 2>be driving. <v Speaker 1>Probably you can play when you get home. <v Speaker 2>I'm going to need it. <v Speaker 1>I'm going to need a couple hours to cool off <v Speaker 1>after all of this. <v Speaker 2>I'll let you know where I'm at, and then if <v Speaker 2>you do need a fourth, then maybe, But. <v Speaker 1>A fourth is wide open. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>I don't know anyone else that has the game other <v Speaker 1>than me. You screwtin Bingle that would actually want to <v Speaker 1>stream and play and that's the last. <v Speaker 2>Last night Webbie played with ms Kiff and uh Squeaks <v Speaker 2>and some other guy. So a lot of people do <v Speaker 2>have the game. A lot of people are like. <v Speaker 1>That, I know, okay, that would stream with me streaming. <v Speaker 1>I don't know who squeaked Squeaks. <v Speaker 2>Is really great. You got to check. I don't know <v Speaker 2>Squeaks great. Ludwig, Yeah, yeah, he played it too, didn't he. <v Speaker 2>I have no idea. <v Speaker 1>I just said a random name of a guy I <v Speaker 1>know and I don't know him. <v Speaker 2>I like Jambriy a lot. I've enjoyed it what little <v Speaker 2>I've played of it, but it's good. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. Again, I don't want to go on and on. <v Speaker 1>I I think it's my favorite Mario Party since like <v Speaker 1>the Wei era. Yeah, I really, I really do like it, dude. <v Speaker 2>You know what I did the other day, like yesterday <v Speaker 2>was yesterday or the day before, I was streaming, and <v Speaker 2>I just I was in such a bad mood from <v Speaker 2>like a lot of shit going on, and I just <v Speaker 2>like went live and just decided I'll just wing it. <v Speaker 2>And for some reason, like somebody was telling me that <v Speaker 2>they played Mario Party on their DS recently, and I <v Speaker 2>pulled out my DS to see if I had the game, <v Speaker 2>because I have so many games on my DS, like <v Speaker 2>I have. I own a lot of DS games, like <v Speaker 2>actually physically own them, not a meme at all, at <v Speaker 2>one hundred percent. I own Mario car or Mario Party DS. <v Speaker 2>I can't tell you. I'm not being serious, okay in <v Speaker 2>a video game. Yeah yeah, but I played Mario Party <v Speaker 2>DS on stream the other day on my DS, like <v Speaker 2>with the top down camera. It was actually a lot <v Speaker 2>of fun. It was a good time. Yeah. Yeah, I <v Speaker 2>enjoyed it. It's fun. Follow me on twitch, following on <v Speaker 2>twitch ham and cheddar. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, there it is. I'm out. I got nothing. <v Speaker 2>We're over an hour an hour thirteen right now. Yeah. <v Speaker 1>I was gonna try and go longer today because we <v Speaker 1>missed last week. But at the same time, I don't <v Speaker 1>want to. <v Speaker 2>I don't want to overdo it. <v Speaker 1>Oh, it's just like waffle no. <v Speaker 2>No, well, that's that's what the bonus is for. <v Speaker 1>We do have to do a bonus episode for Patreon. <v Speaker 2>We will be we will waffle in the bonus folks. <v Speaker 1>All right, let's waffle in. We continue the fun. It's like an <v Speaker 1>after party and we just kind of laugh and sometimes <v Speaker 1>cry about how bad I did in the in the <v Speaker 1>main episode, like last week. <v Speaker 2>No, we did good. We did good. We did good <v Speaker 2>last week still, and I think we did even better <v Speaker 2>this week. <v Speaker 1>Oh my god, so true. Yeah, I'd really appreciate it <v Speaker 1>if you guys wanted to come help out. Also, thank <v Speaker 1>you to all the VIP patreons names or just listen below. <v Speaker 1>There's a couple more that I need to add to <v Speaker 1>that for next week. Yeah, and uh, let <v Speaker 1>me know down below, how confidently right I was about <v Speaker 1>everything we talked about today. And again, if you're watching <v Speaker 1>this episode later and everything's blurred out, you know why. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>I think that's it. Thanks to Ham for coming and <v Speaker 1>helping me. <v Speaker 2>Thanks for having me. <v Speaker 1>I don't know if I mentioned, but Kim wasn't feeling <v Speaker 1>too good today, so she's been upstairs doing the laundry. <v Speaker 1>But I'll definitely try and get her on next week. <v Speaker 2>Yep. <v Speaker 1>And uh yeah, that's it. Fun time, fun times. So <v Speaker 1>you guys later seeing the bonus. I love you well, <v Speaker 1>thank you so much for everything. Sorry about two weeks ago. <v Speaker 1>Bye bye bye, goodbye,
