And uh, speaking of Fernando Danny g it's his last game, probably not as a Raider, right, So are you gonna be locked in like watching or watching every little, every little strategy of his game?

00:01:24
Speaker 2: I almost Sam and I texted about both he and his coach just a couple of games into this college season. That's how long Raider fans have been licking their chops about Fernando Mendoza.

00:01:34
Speaker 3: So I think Fernana Mendoza, Kurt Signetti, the center, Pat Coogan, and then maybe like Charlie Becker or Elijah Surratt, they should all go to the Raiders. Just keep that go just the Indiana Hoosier to the Raiders train. I mean, how much of a likable coach and quarterback combo is that?

00:01:50
Speaker 4: Like? Yeah?

00:01:50
Speaker 1: It really is, Like if you could pick that up and place it somewhere else, I don't think.

00:01:54
Speaker 2: I don't think kurtz Signett's going anywhere. That's what I was gonna say. He loves it in Indiana.

00:01:59
Speaker 1: Change the culture. I love the pictures of what Indiana football looked like a couple of years ago. They show like empty stands and no one caring. And now it's one of the hottest football scenes in all of college sports. Well, speaking of coaches, we're going to talk Sean Payton in a minute. And speaking of Fernando Mandoza, we talked about him on over Promised our bonus podcast, so definitely check it out. It's free. It's right here on the YouTube page Covino and Rich FSR Episode one twenty three. We talk about him and social media and more on over Promised our bonus podcast. Check it out and we hope you enjoy. Send it to a friend. And we're streaming live. Can I give some Sharks some shout outs?

Speaker 5: Yeah?

00:02:37
Speaker 1: Please? Shane Paulson's hanging with us, Colin in Canada, Michelle Willhelm, Miller Criner. We got Shane Paulson. Did I say that we got West.

00:02:48
Speaker 5: Yeah.

00:02:48
Speaker 1: A lot of people chiming in live. We appreciate it, Scott for mayor everybody chiming in. Bill Jackson seventy eight. Thank you for being here with us on the YouTube page Covino and Rich FSSR. Now, before we get into just a Raiders field crew hit us up saying, Danny g Sam, I like that talk, yeah, I say. Before we get into Sean Payton and why he's awesome or a jerk. We'll figure it out. Yeah, we'll discuss Seri's daddy oil jerk. It's Wednesday, So not only do we have Midweek major the biggest stories in sports and pop culture, we got Mike's Wednesday words of Wisdom. Wait, he's not here today. He left words behind. Yes, he really loves the attention. Huh yeah, Big Mike in the broadcast.

00:03:36
Speaker 2: In the broadcasting biz, we call it put it in the can. He left one in the can. Yeah, he loves doing that. Oh, that's when he met when he's okay.

00:03:43
Speaker 1: Yeah, though a.

00:03:46
Speaker 6: Few of those over the years.

00:03:47
Speaker 5: Around here.

00:03:48
Speaker 1: It's our way of giving back to you Fox Sports Radio Nation your chance to win a CNR n FSR Nerve Football with the Turbo Grip. And if you could repeat Mike's words verbatim, that means word for word, that means you win a prize. So write the number down eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox and be dialing if you can repeat Mike's Wednesday words of Wisdom, it's time for the guy that runs this place.

00:04:17
Speaker 4: Just for clarification, guys, Big Mike does not run this place.

00:04:20
Speaker 1: He is not in charge of everything. He has no power over really anybody here. He does not run this place. It's Big Mike's words of wisdom on a Wednesday. I just want to point out something picture Mike pre recording, pre record, like meaning I need to need to do this. He's just trying to give back rich I know. I'm sorry I don't and spread his wisdom.

00:04:46
Speaker 5: Starting your day with an early morning run is the best way to make sure that the rest of your day can't get any worse than it started.

00:05:00
Speaker 1: Can't disagree. I would go past this Jim Danny. When I lived in Hobok in New Jersey, I would pass this gym when I was on my way to do morning radio. It's like five am, and I'd see people on the treadmill through the window, and I'm like, they are psychopaths motivated this. It's a treadmill, though, if you're jogging on concrete it's snowy. Those are people on a mission. They're trying to prove someone wrong. They're trying to show an X what they're really made.

00:05:25
Speaker 3: You do, get your workout in the morning, you feel amazing. The whole day were exhausted by seven pm, but you feel amazing.

00:05:31
Speaker 1: It is a good feeling of like got that out of the way, and hey, if you could repeat that word for word right now, you win a prize. You want to give it again one more time. One.

00:05:42
Speaker 5: Starting your day with an early morning run is the best way to make sure that the rest of your day can't get any worse than it started.

00:05:53
Speaker 1: Thank you, Mike, Thank you Mike. So we're taking your phone calls for the CNR and FSR Nerve Football, and you can always qualify for ner Football if you say something nice in our reviews on our podcast, Apple Podcast. If Danny g hits you up, you could win a football. But while we get the phone calls going eight seven seven ninety nine one Fox, let's talk about Sean Payton because I don't know. I feel like the press either they are easier targets than ever or people are just fed up with stupid questions. I don't know. I don't know what's going on, but I don't know if this is much of a stupid question as much as Sean Payton not having patients with someone I'm not I'm not insinuating he was a stupid question so I don't want to tell it that way. It's like from his perspective, like you want to. He doesn't want to be bothered with your stupidity.

00:06:40
Speaker 3: He got into it with a reporter, like he'll get a little testy with reporters. That happened earlier this season and kind of it's win semi viral.

00:06:46
Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I was. I was hard on the traditional reporter the other day when you and I were arguing, Sam. But they do have a job to do and they are trying to get the real story. Rob Parker and I we're chatting about the minute you start paying people like McAfee does with Aaron Rodgers, then you're not getting the true story because it's more than a fun celebrity guest opposed to reporting. I get what they're trying to do, But tem Payton, I don't know. Is this a good look or not? Take a listening green Law back of this games ability to attack Don Hill and in the run games, how is that the timing of it?

00:07:16
Speaker 4: Do you want him to attack Downhill? Is that you're like, what do you know about attacking Downhill in the run game? You don't know? All right, that's right. I have him attacking downhill. It's good to have a healthy Trey green Law back in the game.

00:07:28
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just very uh Kurt, very combative, very condescending. For sure, that reporter couldn't have gone home feeling cool about himself. No, what do you know about tacking down hill? Do you said? Not much? That's why I'm asking you about it, sir. You are the you know, you are the you are the coach of the Broncos. Sometimes as an interviewer, you're asking questions so that people could explain right their side of things. Maybe maybe you're giving them the opportunity. Maybe this is a storyline and he wants to give Sean Payton the opportunity to clear it up. You know, that's sometimes my method of questioning, like, Hey, I just I want to give you this opportunity to make it clear what is the strategy or what's going on? And man, he didn't seem to have patience for it. What do you know about it?

00:08:18
Speaker 4: Now?

00:08:19
Speaker 1: I'm asking you. Don't want to be combative and put your you know, your career or access in jeopardy. But you know, if I'm that reporter, I almost want to be like, yeah, you're the coach of the Broncos. I'm asking you a question, dope.

00:08:29
Speaker 4: What do you know about attacking downhill?

00:08:31
Speaker 1: And well, do you know about tacking downhill? I don't. I'm a reporter for the Denver Bumblebee. You know I've played seventh grade football. Please explain attacking down hill? Better reporter for the Colorado Springs Gazette.

00:08:44
Speaker 2: You don't.

00:08:44
Speaker 1: You know, well, not as much as you because you're the coach. Yeah, you make twenty million dollars to coach the Broncos. Yeah, I'm asking you a question on the same.

00:08:51
Speaker 3: On this flip side of that, though, I get why coaches get like frustrated with like these maybe these terms that are used in questions like these reporters think that they're like, really.

00:09:02
Speaker 1: Are we living in such a gotcha culture that every coach thinks that what are you trying to get me on something like what do you do? You know what I mean? Like you're trying to set me up like c you don't know anything about attacking down here. If you asked Jordan Love after that loss, hey, do you think Matt Lafleur should keep his job? That's it. That's a trap. A whole question if you ask some very necessary question. But but but I could see after the game, I could see where someone will be like, well you asking me? Or when should or Sanders? They would ask him like what do you think of the play calling? But do you know you're trying to get me? This was a hey, you got a big you got a big defensive piece. I'm a big Green laugh and Niners guy. Right before before he went there was a Niner asking about defensive strategy and Trump Payton jumping like that. I just think, I get it's a long season. But Isaac, you've been in these reporting room more than more than any of us.

00:09:57
Speaker 6: Lord, I have so many stories. A lot of times you can ask a perfectly good, legitimate question and basically have your face chewed off by the person you ask it to if they're in a bad mood at a bad moment. I will give you an interesting footnote that reporter tweeted about this in a reply quote, this was a funny moment. We joked about it after It's all good. But having heard what you just heard there, does it come across that way?

00:10:27
Speaker 1: No, not at all. But maybe they did joke about it. However, Yeah, I wouldn't want to be talked that way, especially publicly, like that, like, all right, geez.

00:10:36
Speaker 4: Like, what do you know about attacking downhill in the run game? You don't know.

00:10:39
Speaker 1: It's a great response, though, imagine if you use that in your real life though. Man Rich asked me a question on anything. Could you know? How do you feel about us doing our bonus podcast? Do you know about bonus podcasts?

00:10:53
Speaker 5: Shut up?

00:10:54
Speaker 7: Hey?

00:10:54
Speaker 3: Next question Coach's carus Sam from the Davenport Yes, Interbutney contribute kids.

00:11:01
Speaker 1: What do you know about Taylor Ham? What do you know about tailorm? Shut up? I mean, what do you know about sandwiches? Next question? This guy calls the tailor funk roll Taylor hand. What do you call? Shut out of my fax? That is like, really, it's rude, dude. This is straight up rudely and I'm glad that it wasn't more than that. According to By the way, I don't know how much I believe that reporter. He's just trying to Maybe he's just trying to say the thing of it and save face and not rub this guy the wrong way, trying to stay in good Yes, he's trying to stay in in the scene.

00:11:30
Speaker 6: There Actually, apparently this was his follow up question.

00:11:33
Speaker 1: You hold your head up all right?

00:11:37
Speaker 5: Man?

00:11:37
Speaker 1: Yeah, So your thoughts on that, and we'll take more phone calls. And we're still looking for a winner for Mike's Wednesday Words Wisdom? Who do we got, Danny J. Let's start with John and Montana? All right, John, John Montana, what's up, Bud? I think I was Sam pulled a muscle over here? What's up? What's up? Bud?

00:11:58
Speaker 4: Hey?

00:11:59
Speaker 1: You ready do Mike's Words of wisdom or what I'm gonna do my best? All right? Iowa, Sam? Sorry, I pulled like I put muscle in my rib cage? What do you know about muscard?

00:12:08
Speaker 4: No?

00:12:08
Speaker 3: I don't know, but I had a cramp in my rib cage is very hurt a lot. I was like having an attackle here, we need to bring in I don't know I need. I'm sorry, I'm up trying to distract.

00:12:23
Speaker 1: All Right, We're good now. Who's to Who's Sam's backup? I can't like these cramps in my ribcage when I laugh and I'm like, what's going on in my body? Who's our Fred Warner, Tommy davidos here to back up?

00:12:33
Speaker 5: Sam?

00:12:33
Speaker 1: Sam's he used to laughing, so the other shows he used to work for.

00:12:39
Speaker 5: Iowa.

00:12:39
Speaker 1: Sam's gonna produce, I Wow, Sam's gonna prove play that music. Let it marinate, John, let it breathe for a second. Go ahead, John, it's all you. Starting your day with an early morning run is the best way to make sure that the rest of your days can't get any worse than started and done.

00:13:16
Speaker 2: Here we go, and you're wiser for it. Yeah, congrats. We will be getting your address when the shipping comes in. You get a Turbo football there in Montana.

00:13:24
Speaker 1: Thanks buddy, easy, I would have got it. I wonder if these guys play like Patton Oswalt and Big Fan and just start writing it all down fair. That's cheating. Whatever your method is, that's fine. Appreciate it. Thanks for playing. We do this every Wednesday and coming up. Remember we still got midweek major the biggest stories in sports and pop culture. But any final thoughts on Sean Payton, Like we said about what was her name, Lisa Turtle, No, we said it about the other reporter earlier this week, Lynn Jones, Lynn Jones, you know who. Whether or not etiquette was vi in that moment, like kindness never goes out of style, like people being rude just for being rude, Like, what do you know about downhill? Well, what do you know about punching down? Because I think you're just bullying a goofy reporter right now, That's what it sounds like to me. So I don't think kindness ever goes out of style. He didn't have to be a jerk. Click dom well sound Look, whether he was being mean or not, it sounds jerky, doesn't it. Listen, we bust each other's chops all day here, but in day to day life, I very much judge people on how they treat staff at restaurants, how they treat workers at stores. That's the ultimate that's the ultimate test of how you are as a human. That in returning your grocery card. You know, there's a little test in life, like are you a good person taking up two spaces with you know, parking your car like you just don't care? Do you look at the waitress in the eyes when you order? Do you say thank you?

00:14:50
Speaker 4: Like?

00:14:50
Speaker 1: These are things you teach your kids, right, may I versus I want? And I know that sometimes a coach or player doesn't necessarily want to talk to the press or a reporter. Yeah, but I know, I notice when someone is there to do the they're they're in the moment, like I'll give you a great example. You know who I noticed that thank you, appreciate it and was sweet. Tamiko Ryan, Demiko Ryan's when he there's certain I mean coming off a win, but it was at halftime. There's there's coaches and players that you know go the extra mile to say thank you, gracious, courteous, respectful, There's there's you know, those are all good things. See listen, there's no need for him to be this way unless they have a previous relationship where you know, this reporter is a past or something. I don't know, you know how we love but in that moment, that's what we joke about. How back in the day we gave Manny the pass the front Manny being Manny, Manny ramires. One person gets the rude to press pass because it's funny. And that's one and one person only. Everyone else to me, step up your game. And this is a guy that it almost became a right of passage as a reporter to have this guy be mean to you. Do you know what I'm thinking of NBA? Uh? Is it? It's a Craig Sagar and Greg Povich, it's Popovich. Yeah, it's definitely probably when you're Papa. We were talking about boy George Sadano and you know he's a good Palavars and it's like being dissed by Eminem. Yeah, it would like you weren't a reporter in the Envy until Popovich like gave you a short answer and told you to beat it. But other than Popovich, because we all know what a great human Popovich is, so I think other than Greg Popovic, everyone else.

00:16:29
Speaker 2: I think if Bobby Knight was rude to you too when you report that was a badgeob if you threw a chair at you, if he hits you over the head with a chair, he was just like buddy.

00:16:38
Speaker 3: But Craig Sager, though, like dearly departed Craig Sager we all loved, had this amazing suits him and Papovich would go back like it was.

00:16:45
Speaker 1: Just it was like a bit and by the way, deel no and does everybody have a bad day? Absolutely mostly great bit with the it is what it is. So we got to point it out. Wasn't there a great bit with the late Craig Sager where was a Kevin Garnett. People went in on his suit. Yes, yeah, he calls out him never to wear it again. It's really fun moment. So hey, just be kind, as you said, Camo, there's no uh, there's nothing to it. Be kind. That's great right there, I was saying, coming up, We're gonna give him extra time because he really wants you know, he's really feeling the love today our video, guys, Spot is going to do Midweek Major, but we're going to give you eight minutes. Yeah, extra time stot for all the hot stories chocolate in the world of sports and entertainment. We do Midweek Major, and we'll talk about all your divisional games getting closer and closer to the best weekend of NFL football. We do that next right here, can we?

00:17:41
Speaker 7: No?

00:17:41
Speaker 4: Rich?

00:17:42
Speaker 1: It all comes down to this rich one game, the best of the best playing for the Lombardi which you saw on Broadway, right Lombardi? Didn't you see it? You know who played Lombardi on Broadway? I remember the dad from Wonder Years and I went to the opening night Dan Laurie Chocolate, Lauria Lai Gloria. 00:21:16
Speaker 1: We definitely here to see it. Are scoring mid week major?

00:21:22
Speaker 5: Oh?

00:21:24
Speaker 7: Yeah?

00:21:24
Speaker 2: I almost feel like twelve minutes is too much time for spotting scroll minutes.

00:21:28
Speaker 1: We should go really slow here, So we rolled it to red Love Dice roll the dice. When you hear the horns, you know you've made it to the middle of the work week. We're actually go to half my story on everybody watching Cobino jump. Sorry see Danny G's giant sticky red love dice. You got what you roll?

00:21:45
Speaker 2: Ooh eleven, that's hard to be yellow ritual. Come on right, you got this hold on now this is for first take. By the way, that doesn't okay, that doesn't okay, Oh my god.

00:22:01
Speaker 1: Twelve vegas some down better. Hope your niners could come back like that against you know, you know what I was gonna ask you Bird Brady before you go spot since told minutes, come on when you ask later on as chech GPT do they predict the favorites? If you're gonna have robots? I know at iHeart and the Fox were considered, you know, guaranteed human. But if you're hanging with your stupid robot friends, would would would AI predict all the favorites? Not sure? Ask that what we're going to spot? We're now down to ten minutes.

00:22:34
Speaker 2: That's what rich is to go first and now, ladies and gentlemen, the most famous person besides Judy Bloom from Scotch Plains, New Jersey, Spotty boy, you guys, spots Hi guys, how.

00:22:44
Speaker 1: Are Sunday chocolate?

00:22:49
Speaker 5: All right?

00:22:50
Speaker 1: You guys are in a contract here, right? Yeah? Well have you considered uh celibacy for peak performance? Oh? Think about it?

00:22:58
Speaker 8: On today's newly Really I'm going Somewhere newly released New Heights podcast, Jameis Winston revealed that during his historic twenty nineteen season with the Bucks, he decided to abstain from sexual activity. He said that it was a contract year. It was one of the most up and down years on and off the field he had in his life. Was like a down year, right. He just you never just to ask his wife to marry him, and he was doing his celibacy thing. He said that his parents, once they got engaged, insisted that him and his fiance live apart, so he was he had bought his own place.

00:23:32
Speaker 1: He was living on his own. He was trying to focus on the game.

00:23:34
Speaker 8: But that being said that that season he did he actually he made NFL history, being the first to throw thirty touchdowns and thirty.

00:23:44
Speaker 1: Interceptions in one season. So he didn't Mickbusters cover the whole week in the Knees Burgess Meredith theory. I think they did good. Weaker major man, Yeah, Rich, I'm sorry weaken. I mean I think it's weak. We no abstaining from I don't know to marry guys like I do that automatically. But you know what, a guy in his youthful prime, like young Studeley Jameis Winston, was like, no, can do ladies like come on, give me a break? And he was and he was married at the time. You're saying engaged engaged. Oh man, Isaac, I'm gonna.

00:24:18
Speaker 5: Go to you what.

00:24:19
Speaker 6: I have a tidbit about this that's related to sports entertainment. So remember the movie Ali starring Will Smith. According to the guy who trained Will Smith for that picture, Will Smith vowed to abstain himself for the whole period he was training for and filming the movie Ali for similar reasons as it related to playing a boxer and playing Ali?

00:24:43
Speaker 1: Is why Jada decided to just get with everyone else? Is that why she had entanglementsments with nobody? I passed to you. I think it's some mid story. Is that about? There's any truth to it? So I think it's just sort of a waste the time. However, I also respect the I guess commitment and dedication to greatness. Like you're eliminating distractions. So I do understand that, but I mean, at what cost? Don't you want to be closer to fiance?

00:25:14
Speaker 5: Yeah?

00:25:14
Speaker 1: And truthfully, like if you don't have there's no proof. If you don't have kids, those are real distractions. Imagine being with your significant other without kids around. What would you even do? Who knows? I know all right? Home owners.

Speaker 8: Homeowners in New Jersey already starting to capitalize on the upcoming World Cup festivities this year, starting off in June, as soccer fans from all over the world head to Mexico, US and Canada. MetLife will host the final game, which will take place on July nineteenth, and airbnb prices are already skyrocketing, so some of the some of like the examples. They gave a seven bedroom property in Jersey City, which isn't far from the Meadowlands where MetLife Stadium is, going for twenty seven thousand dollars for three nights, a four bedroom home in midtown Manhattan if you wanted to stay in the city going for almost thirty k, and several two to three bedrooms that are within five minutes of MetLife Stadium going for at least twelve thousand dollars for the weekend. The World Cup takes place from June eleventh to July nineteen, sixteen venues across North America, So if you're near a hosting gun, you maybe consider letting one of your places doing it up on the AIRBNBA Midwica.

00:26:27
Speaker 1: Major, Dude, that was a long winded spot. Jesus, I got twelve minutes, major, every major. My wife and I have talked about this for real because the Olympics come out here in twenty twenty eight. They do, and I live in the valley. We have a five bedroom house with like a finished garage. You could also call that like a six bedroom. My wife and I have talked about like pay for the kids college, because they were saying, like out here in LA when the Olympics here, they're saying, you might be able to rent your house for fifty to one hundred thousand dollars for a.

00:26:52
Speaker 8: Month if you have five or more bedrooms. Events will be spread all over the LA County areas.

00:26:58
Speaker 1: Right know what else is going to be spread legs over Rich's bed? Who cares? I'll go buy a cheap bed for my Kiya. You want some other strangers dropping in your kids room? Yeah, I'll give us the first time for everything.

00:27:08
Speaker 6: It's your whole. An episode of Room Raiders after the Olympics.

00:27:11
Speaker 1: There, I'll bring the black line into this. Guys, I would really care. I told my wife, I'm like, I'll go do the show remote for a month. I think the boss would understand. I'll give them a cut. I'm gonna rent my couch show for eighty dollars a night. If anything, I was saying, I'll go, I'll live with I'm gonna live with you. Now, I'll live with you. Well, ret my apartment, I'll pay your rent for the month. I'm and double I'll live with you. My wife could go live with the kids. Because it's some serious money, and in a time where everyone claims to be broke, they got all this coin to be buying tickets tickets alone are expensive, and then renting out houses for thirty fifty thousand dollars off. These are teams in facility. That's crazy due that this kind of money could be made. So I guess if you have the opportunity, you definitely have to consider it. I also have to take some at profit and use it for a real deep cleaning afterwards. Of course, if you think they're going to respect your home, I think you're crazy. There's a matter of dude, a couple thousand dollars. If they've dent the wall chip of the sanctity of your your kids are raised, soccer hooligans are gonna be ramming their head through your wall. Sad Please, I've already been in touch with the Norwegian louge team. All right, next story is alright?

00:28:20
Speaker 8: Uh, Tom Brady to any Tom Brady news, I know you love, but turning into a bit of a grumpy old man screaming at the cloud. So while appearing on the Spit and Chickletz podcast, host Ryan Whitney was talking about players coaches quote players coaches being replaced by disciplinarians, and Brady did not hold back. Going on this rant about the quote younger generations. He said that the generation is so soft. He said, they're just unwilling to take criticism for lack of performance. Why do we allow this with parents? Why do we allow it in schools? Why do we allow it with coaching? Where it's okay to mess up and screw up in front of your teammates because you're not prepared or you didn't put the effort in. Why can't we call people out on that? Why do we have to apologize for trying to get the best out of somebody. That's what needs to change.

00:29:05
Speaker 1: Uh.

00:29:06
Speaker 8: He went on to say that this just fractures the teams for people involving people who aren't involved with the inner circle of a team.

00:29:13
Speaker 1: Soaker major, I say it's mid Tom Brady has plenty of other fun story surrounding him from a sorry sorry Alex wasn't involved, sitting clons weren't involved. I mean, I think it's a major because this great advice, so who is coming from It's a guy who's who's proven to know a little something about great But he was telling you if that's what it takes, then that's what it takes. Should follow that blueprints not being a WEENI about it. Did you win the role of the dice? But you were done? You said you spoke your mind. Don't you mean you actually? I cut you rich Hotlans not involved. You were very whole home and you passed it off to me. Listen, I'm I'm the number one coach here on Fox Sports Radio. Oh no, and I'm gonna tell you this now you are facts. I always was. Hey, so you defending Doug. He's doing really well? He is. I'm proud he's succeeding. Go Doug. Yeah, I'm now friends with Stu Gott. Sorry. So here's my thought. My thought is there comes an age where this matters. Right, Like I coach kids are five six, My daughter's eight, he plays eight U softball. It's still I go by this the words of my pal coach ball game. Hey kid, I love watching you play. Are you having fun? Yes? You get to an age twelve thirteen, eleven, twelve thirteen, that's when it's like, all right, are you in this to win it? Do you want to learn competitiveness and you want to learn how to be a winner? Things change? But when kids are ten years old or younger, accountability are kidding me? They're you know, half the kids run to third base first. You could now answer, I already stoke my mind. The guy created the he knows the way to do it. So why wouldn't you take his advice? You know better than Tom Brady? In my face, what do you know about winning? What do you know about attacking down hill, you know about attack of that hook, get ahead of Here's Tom Brady, dude. Listen to what he says, does your does your sons ate you?

00:31:06
Speaker 5: Or what is it?

00:31:07
Speaker 1: What does he play? Does he have more rings than Tom Brady? No? But I think that that comes a distinct agent. I think we have to ask eleven can I can I make one final point though? Yeah? You know, in situations like this when it comes to coaching or bosses, tough bosses, tough instructors, are they just being jerks or are they trying to bring out the greatness in you? It's sort of like the Devil Wears Praduct? Was the boss a jerk or trying to bring out the greatness? In the movie Whiplash? Was JK. Simmons a jerk? Or was he trying to bring out the greatness in Miles Teller? Both? You know, it takes a lot to be great. It takes a lot of dedication, a lot of commitment, a lot of sacrifice. And if Tom Brady's saying, hey, sometimes this tough love is needed, I think it probably should take his advice.

00:31:52
Speaker 8: All right, Hi, gonn squeeze one more and my Miami Hurricanes running back Mark Fletcher Junior been dominating in his team's run to the national championship. This Monday right and reveals that his mother has been his biggest supporter, so much so that she drives to every game, no matter the location. He said that she really does not not only love to support her son, but loves the travel involved. So this season Miami had four road games, racking up about seventy five hundred miles in her travels. But in the postseason, in the three games in the post scenes and there were two games in Texas and one game in Arizona, racking up a total travel of seventeen thousand miles.

00:32:30
Speaker 1: Just to go out and support her son.

00:32:32
Speaker 8: Fletcher said he did offer his mom plane tickets to go see him play, but she is not a fan of flying, so she decided to drive. Luckily, the final is only about a half hour away, so not many more miles there.

00:32:45
Speaker 1: Made mature this a week as story week, I thought this was a very swing fluffy way story. No, get on a plane, dufus wich, it's his mother. I'm let me horrible human. Let me let me rephrase. I deal with this sometimes with my mother in law I'm in caliph you here. My mother loves in Texas, and I will volunteer, like Cindy, you're such a great grandmother to our children. I will plane tickets on me and she'll choose to drive. She's like John Manning, she doesn't trust to play. What I'm saying is you can't then feel bad for someone that's like, been on the road for two days when you offered to buy them a plane ticket, Like you know what I'm saying, Like if I if Kavino's like I'm hungry, and I'm like, dude, I offered to stop and get you a sandwich, Like you can't complain when someone offered you something, right, I mean, if he offered his mother plane tickets, God bless her. I love that she's there for her son. So I don't want to spend anything negative on a beautiful story. But I can't feel bad for someone that drove thousands of miles when someone offered them a plane ticket for free, seventy five hundred miles for hurricane away games. And I think this is a mid story, not because yeah, not because it's not beautiful, but because in the story, the mom says that she truly loves driving.

00:33:55
Speaker 5: She loves.

00:33:58
Speaker 1: Traveling for the game. So that's what she loves to do it. She loves to do it. Let's do it. How about it? And you know, good luck to hurt her Son National Championship. Thank you so much, Spotting, Thank you spot Hots up guys, Hot Sunday chocolate chocolate all right, Isaac lohecron, what's up.

00:34:13
Speaker 5: Man hi lo?

00:34:15
Speaker 6: Alright, Let's get started with a busy day in the world of sports. All sorts of things to tell you guys about. Starting with the news out of college football, Oregon quarterback Dante Moore announced that he will return to the Ducks next season. In Major League Baseball, Big signing the Boston Red Sox inking left handed pitcher Ranger Suarez to a five year, one hundred and thirty million dollar deal in the NFL. Former Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh has been meeting with the New York Giants today at their facility. At last report, he is still there. I will double check just to make sure the deal is Steve Tish, he's one of the co owners of the Giants. A plane that he owned went from New Jersey to Baltimore this morning, was on the ground in Baltimore for forty five minutes, flew back to New Jersey. It landed there nine hours ago and as of now, that plane is still there in New Jersey. Speaking of the Ravens, they interviewed Brown's defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz and Chargers defensive coordinator Jesse Minter for their head coaching job. Pittsburgh Steelers requested interviews with Mintor Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores, Rams passing game coordinator Nate Schielhouse, and Rams defensive coordinator Chris Shula. Meanwhile, former Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel will interview Friday for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator job. Finally, we have a National Championship game. Parking update. I'm looking at the secondary market, not for tickets for Indiana against Miami, but rather parking spaces in the parking lot of Hard Rocks Stadium. Cavino and Rich would you like to take a guess as to what they're going for right now in the stadium parking lot on the secondary market? One parking pass.

00:35:57
Speaker 1: My favorite show in the eighties two to two seven, two hundred and twenty seven dollars rich two hundred and twenty eight.

00:36:03
Speaker 6: Dollars lowest price right now, seven hundred and forty seven.

00:36:07
Speaker 1: Dollars lowest price. That's good, but don't worry.

00:36:10
Speaker 6: If you are right across the street, that price goes down to a much more manageable three hundred and ninety four dollars.

00:36:18
Speaker 1: Back to you, man, where's the running backs? Mom gonna park?

00:36:21
Speaker 6: He ever Glades?

00:36:22
Speaker 1: Perhaps? My goodness, thank you, Isaac. And by the way, pitching people are so desperate for starting pitching. Ranger Suarez is good, don't get me wrong, but the guy's never won more than twelve games. We'll talk about a guy that goes like twelve and eight, twelve and dollars like with Eer in the threes, which is great, but to make that type of money, like, honestly, people take big chances on good starting pitchers. Yep, really as well, there's very few Garrett Coles, very few. Garrett Cole's not even playing for another month or two after the season starts. Seeing what rodn But I'm saying, like Scoop Bowl and Skins, there's very few guys of that caliber. So hey, anyway, we got more CNR we got a little NBA news. We'll get to next. That's to do with Giannis. So hang tight more CNR neck. Have you ever wiped with a piece of dry single ply toilet paper and wondered is this as good as a cat's? Uh? Well it's not. But I know people, we work with bros. People they chew on the arm rest, they chew on the pens. So people are just spitting everywhere, shouting all that. If you know when I are both pen chowers, I'm I'm a pen I do put the pen in my mouth. Yeah, but you know what I'm like when you guys all have these terrible germs. I'm the guy that would I lived in New York City most of my life, going to work back and forth. You put your hands on a subway handle and then bite your nail and look in your finger. I have the immunity of Like, if this is zombie virus, I'm surviving, is what I'm saying. You're not You're not that guy anymore. You're in LA. It's not like that soft out here. You're soft.
