<v Speaker 1>Hello, and welcome to another episode of the Giant BombCast. <v Speaker 1>I am specifically avoiding the number because I've forgotten. Now <v Speaker 1>I'm looking it up. It is. <v Speaker 2>There. <v Speaker 1>You go, let's go. We did it. Welcome everyone to <v Speaker 1>the Giant BombCast. I'm your host again tomorrow, Sane. They <v Speaker 1>let me do it once, now they let me do <v Speaker 1>it again, which either is very good or very bad, <v Speaker 1>depending on whether you like the sound of my voice. <v Speaker 1>I am joined by. <v Speaker 3>Jeff grub ohy damn, I'm sorry. I just got really <v Speaker 3>thrown off by the new Mike Mustachi email at there. <v Speaker 1>Well, while while Mike wasn't here, I did Austin whether <v Speaker 1>he was and you whether he was doing a whole <v Speaker 1>Cogan thing, because. <v Speaker 3>We both we both said, yeah, it's a hero. It's <v Speaker 3>a hero, not as a wrestler, though as a political figure. <v Speaker 2>Was a man as as as a man a go tea. <v Speaker 2>This is just a mustache right wait wait, wait what now? <v Speaker 3>He had like an han thing. <v Speaker 2>I'm trying to like picture it. You're right, it wasn't, <v Speaker 2>but his one, his one further down than this. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, I said, you were trying. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, Hogan's trademark go te We also joined by rocket. <v Speaker 4>So Oslot used hypnotherapy on himself to shoot believe that <v Speaker 4>he was liquid snake, and so that's why he was <v Speaker 4>so effective. But he was really doing it just to <v Speaker 4>fool the patriots. Mike, you see what's before. <v Speaker 2>They just get that's cool. If a person was an elf, <v Speaker 2>I could never because elves aren't real. That'd be stupid. <v Speaker 4>We are agreeing, yeh, yeah, elves are. Elves aren't just <v Speaker 4>lame because they're not real. They're also just stupid, like <v Speaker 4>like a cool cowboy that can like juggle gun. <v Speaker 2>Question, elves, do. <v Speaker 1>I have a I have a like to put towards Mitch? <v Speaker 1>If else aren't real? Are you denying the existence of Tinkerbell? <v Speaker 2>That's a fairy that's different, that's there. <v Speaker 1>Help both counts as a form of elf. <v Speaker 2>Now I believe in Tikerbell. I'm gonna collapse to show <v Speaker 2>how much I believe. <v Speaker 1>You believe what you believe. Want to find himself but <v Speaker 1>not another guy. So what you're saying is you're an <v Speaker 1>elf superiority person, elf racist. To be clear, it's coming <v Speaker 1>all back around. <v Speaker 2>I love elves. I'm making fun of Dan. <v Speaker 4>For not liking elves. What's the most famous elves link <v Speaker 4>links an elf? Do you see his ears? <v Speaker 2>Hey? Years is the whole? <v Speaker 5>Well? <v Speaker 1>He is a pretty much. <v Speaker 4>I love Zelda. I've never like held link up to <v Speaker 4>be like cool Guy number one. He's just a fucking <v Speaker 4>he does great things for the world. <v Speaker 1>I would just like to remind everyone that Mitch has <v Speaker 1>denied the existence of Ian Lightfoot. Okay, Abby from the <v Speaker 1>Santa Claus a Judy from the Santa Claus Chocolate, Lanie <v Speaker 1>Curtis from Santa Claus. <v Speaker 3>Who's the Doncas? <v Speaker 2>Who's the guy who wants to be a dentist in Rudolph? <v Speaker 3>Yeah, I know who you mean. <v Speaker 2>What's his name, Ernie or something? I love that. I <v Speaker 2>love that guy. I hope he became a dentist. His <v Speaker 2>dreams came true. <v Speaker 1>By shut up. We're also joined by Mitch Manotti. <v Speaker 2>Oh it's me Finally I get to talk. That's a <v Speaker 2>guy you've been talking the whole time. <v Speaker 1>Now, the guy who's fucking certified yapper won't shut up? <v Speaker 2>Is like, oh, I get to talk now. Well, it's <v Speaker 2>nice to see all my friends. It's all he's seen <v Speaker 2>me in a while. Mitch. Yeah, it's been a bit, <v Speaker 2>it's a been a hot bulbit. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, we'll we'll get to that, but before we get <v Speaker 1>on with it, we also want to take the time <v Speaker 1>to acknowledge that we're in a very very interesting time <v Speaker 1>right now in the state of the world, and we <v Speaker 1>think it's important to technowledge that. <v Speaker 3>That's right. Detroit Lions are a good football team. <v Speaker 2>It's so weird. <v Speaker 3>It is very strange. <v Speaker 1>The Golden State Warriors are on a winning streak. They're <v Speaker 1>about to play the Boston cell takes the Leveland Cavaliers <v Speaker 1>and the Oklahoma City Thunder and then the Dallas Mavericks <v Speaker 1>one after the other. So it is a very very <v Speaker 1>scary time for people. <v Speaker 3>Yeh schedule. <v Speaker 2>Baron Corbyn got released. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, yeah, I'm lost. <v Speaker 1>I watched that wrestler who's got the Golden Hair yesterday, <v Speaker 1>the really cool one, the butcher one. He seems very nice. No, no, no, <v Speaker 1>the cool one. He's he's got an American tattoo on <v Speaker 1>American flag tattoo currently road. I watched him eat a <v Speaker 1>McRib and then a British bacon rap and he said <v Speaker 1>sorry to the Americans. The bacon rap is better roads <v Speaker 1>to be on the right side of history. I'm I <v Speaker 1>don't know why I'm defending bacon wraps up. No, I <v Speaker 1>had one in my life because they're almost Anyways, let's <v Speaker 1>talk about life. You know, you guys did a extra left. <v Speaker 1>You read what raised? What was it for? Fifty and <v Speaker 1>then my. <v Speaker 2>Five thousand dollars? <v Speaker 1>I heard it was fifty grand. And then Mitch said <v Speaker 1>I'm keeping five of this because for them kids, which <v Speaker 1>was upset. <v Speaker 3>You did a lot of work. He's saying a lot. <v Speaker 3>I think he earned it. You could have five grand, Mike. <v Speaker 2>I took no such money. <v Speaker 4>Come on, guys, that's Kayla's Mitch. <v Speaker 2>She was carrying a lot of that show. Yeah, anyone <v Speaker 2>deserves a payday from that. Yeah. Jeff took the most <v Speaker 2>abuse with the sauna then having to watch all of <v Speaker 2>Nubes and you forgot about the sauna. Jeez. I didn't either. <v Speaker 2>I was. <v Speaker 4>I was in my bathroom this morning and I looked <v Speaker 4>over at the sauna thing and I was like, oh, right, <v Speaker 4>grub beat most of Mario three. <v Speaker 2>In there, yep, only most cower. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, guys. I was like, shoot, worried about my health. <v Speaker 2>And I told Sean. <v Speaker 4>I was like, Sean, it's good to have you, because <v Speaker 4>like my instincts are always just to go as far <v Speaker 4>as possible. And perhaps I think more about the humor <v Speaker 4>than the reason of things sometimes, so it's always good <v Speaker 4>to have a sean to be like, oh wait, he <v Speaker 4>might shoot die. <v Speaker 2>We should watch out for this. <v Speaker 3>It was very funny to be in there, and you're right, Dan, <v Speaker 3>I did burn my foot on that puck multiple times. <v Speaker 3>I don't watch over, but it was funny to be <v Speaker 3>in there in my clothes dying playing Mario three and <v Speaker 3>having multiple people have to like come in and take <v Speaker 3>turns holding the camera because their hands were getting a <v Speaker 3>bit warm. They're like everyone was complaining about it. They're like, oh, <v Speaker 3>this is so hot, and they're like, knuckles are just <v Speaker 3>kind of barely hanging in the saw. And I was like, <v Speaker 3>you guys not see. <v Speaker 2>What I'm doing. <v Speaker 3>I could hear you. <v Speaker 2>I could hear. To be fair, you were the one <v Speaker 2>who's like, I'll stay in there as long as it <v Speaker 2>takes me to beat Mario three. That was your bad idea, <v Speaker 2>I said, World one, and you're like, I'm going to <v Speaker 2>beat this game. <v Speaker 3>Well, I like, because I'm like, I could do the <v Speaker 3>whistles and I forgot. You gotta go through at least <v Speaker 3>the way I've always done, and I always have to <v Speaker 3>go all the way through seven. I can't remember where <v Speaker 3>the third whistle is. I'm like, oh shit, this was. <v Speaker 2>A bad idea. <v Speaker 3>But listen, it was a bad idea. Oh I abandoned <v Speaker 3>it and went back and just beat World one. So <v Speaker 3>I did, like weighing, weigh moay more than I needed <v Speaker 3>to do. I like how you still went back and <v Speaker 3>beat World what you should have got out? Then she <v Speaker 3>just wanted to I. <v Speaker 2>Wanted to accomplish something. You say you wanted to beat it, <v Speaker 2>you're gonna say it. <v Speaker 3>I shoot, wasn't I shoot, wasn't. I just was kind <v Speaker 3>of said I wanted to accomplish something, and you're the <v Speaker 3>one thinking about beating it constantly. <v Speaker 1>I love the idea of flirting with the risk of <v Speaker 1>heat stroke, which is a very very severe. <v Speaker 3>Very real right, Like that's three where our bodies like <v Speaker 3>can only get so hot, and I'm like, yes, my <v Speaker 3>body's sweating as much as a positive about. <v Speaker 1>Sometimes you know when you're in you're about to have <v Speaker 1>one of these moments. You you feel it coming, and <v Speaker 1>you have enough time to like rectify what's happening and <v Speaker 1>respond heat stroke one thoughts you're cooked, like yeah, I <v Speaker 1>guess it was just like you can't move around, so <v Speaker 1>like you you're stuck in the so on on your own, <v Speaker 1>probably dying. <v Speaker 4>I also had that once and I tried to rectify it, <v Speaker 4>and like, I had never had that heat stroke feeling before. <v Speaker 4>But when I first moved here, it was ninety six <v Speaker 4>degrees and I hadn't worked out in a while, and <v Speaker 4>I decided to be a good day to go on <v Speaker 4>a four hour bike ride, and so I just rode <v Speaker 4>all around Minneapolis and then I like my brain started <v Speaker 4>shutting down and I just felt I was like, I'm <v Speaker 4>gonna lay on this bench next to this busy road <v Speaker 4>for a while. Laid on the bench for like thirty minutes. <v Speaker 4>My body and brain did not settle down. So I <v Speaker 4>walked over to a grocery store, and I was like, <v Speaker 4>I need to eat something. So I bought like a <v Speaker 4>vat of macaroni and cheese and just bought a bunch. <v Speaker 2>Of Camfit healthy runner views and stuff. <v Speaker 4>So I'm just mountain dew and macaroni cheese, and I <v Speaker 4>went to the freezer section. I just opened up the <v Speaker 4>freezer next to like the hot pocket stuff and just <v Speaker 4>stood there with like my head in the freezer, and <v Speaker 4>it took like two hours for me to feel safe <v Speaker 4>to go home. <v Speaker 1>You had your hat in a freezer for two hours. <v Speaker 4>No, I was doing a lot like why, Like I <v Speaker 4>was stopping and cool in my head a little bit. <v Speaker 1>I just love the idea of like the shop clerk <v Speaker 1>looking over and being like, yeah, I didn't want an <v Speaker 1>hour and a half. What's he doing? <v Speaker 2>I don't know. <v Speaker 4>I was hearing my dad voice my head being like <v Speaker 4>that's gonna cost money. Give him fridge open? <v Speaker 3>Like, oh god, Now when when I was like, when <v Speaker 3>you were dealing with this heat, did someone come and <v Speaker 3>turn off the lights while you were like hallucinating in <v Speaker 3>the heat. <v Speaker 4>Well, that's the thing, is like I thought it would <v Speaker 4>be funny if the lights were off while he was <v Speaker 4>in there, But I also didn't want him to die, <v Speaker 4>so I stayed in the bathroom in the dark. Wild <v Speaker 4>Grub was in the sauna, and I'm just silently in there, <v Speaker 4>just like I just want to make sure he's safe, Jeff. <v Speaker 2>What was worse though the sauna are having to watch <v Speaker 2>all of nubes in a cold room with no other stimuli. <v Speaker 3>I like, it is very hard to tell which one <v Speaker 3>is worse. They are both really really rough. You know. <v Speaker 3>Being able to get to the end and do something <v Speaker 3>about being in the sauna gave me a certain level <v Speaker 3>of hope. Nubes is hopeless. So so when I like <v Speaker 3>at the end of Mario Party, I think we were <v Speaker 3>I was like pretty close to winning. Mike was doing well, <v Speaker 3>Kayla was doing well, which. <v Speaker 4>To be clear, this was like an eighty plus turnament <v Speaker 4>game of Mario Party because we turned the clocks back <v Speaker 4>on Mario Party with the save state when the shoot <v Speaker 4>clocks went back an hour. <v Speaker 3>That's that's right. So yes, we did some bunch of bullshit. <v Speaker 3>Sean was doing well, and someone gave a bunch of <v Speaker 3>money to send me, Kayla and Sean into Nubes for <v Speaker 3>fifteen minutes so Dan would have a chance to come <v Speaker 3>back came back. I still won, But because I won, <v Speaker 3>someone gave three thousand dollars to send me to watch <v Speaker 3>the entirety of Neubes from beginning to end. <v Speaker 2>To put your phone in So yeah, no no phone, <v Speaker 2>no talking, just you and your thoughts in Nubes. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, after seeing it many times, like in fifteen minute <v Speaker 4>increments leading up. <v Speaker 3>To that, yep, So it was it was a lot <v Speaker 3>and I feel like like we're describing a lot of <v Speaker 3>stuff that's like scratching the surface. <v Speaker 4>So much happened hours. Yeah, it was an eighteen hour stream. <v Speaker 4>Turbo Sean has been uploading and getting ready a full <v Speaker 4>YouTube archive, which should go up as soon as the <v Speaker 4>end of this podcast. So if you want to scrub <v Speaker 4>around and see all the highlights, there was a lot <v Speaker 4>that happened over eighteen hours. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Has your opinion on nubes changed in any way? <v Speaker 3>I mean my appreciation for the depth of its horrors <v Speaker 3>has increased. Like there's just so much stuff where it's <v Speaker 3>like they it's so bad. First of all, I watching <v Speaker 3>over and over and seeing many of the scenes over <v Speaker 3>and over again, like what is happening? It's just just <v Speaker 3>a weird coincidence. It's like, no, there's like seven or <v Speaker 3>eight scenes in that movie. They're just all so long, <v Speaker 3>they're all they just go on and on and on <v Speaker 3>and then so like even when there's like a moment <v Speaker 3>of like we were to like Sabrina Carpenter's in it, and. <v Speaker 1>That is the most impressive thing about it. It's so <v Speaker 1>bad that somehow it didn't impact Sabrina copp in his career. <v Speaker 1>It came out. <v Speaker 2>It's fine, Adam, it's memory and so. <v Speaker 1>Impacting his own career. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, Sadam Sessler handled that himself. But I was so like, <v Speaker 3>we'll see the same scenes and it's like Sabrina Carpenter <v Speaker 3>shows up and it's like, this scene would be good <v Speaker 3>if it was like a fifth the length that it is. <v Speaker 3>But every time they have Seene in this movie, they're like, <v Speaker 3>let's just just let it go, let it run. <v Speaker 2>All this stuff is gold. <v Speaker 3>And so you like, it starts bad and then it <v Speaker 3>just keeps going and so you're again that hopelessness just <v Speaker 3>overtakes you and you feel like there's no escape. So yeah, <v Speaker 3>that was that was a really rough set that that <v Speaker 3>fuld that just get like getting sent in there, I <v Speaker 3>was like, there's no way this is whereund looking at it. <v Speaker 3>I'm seeing this person gave three thousand dollars and said <v Speaker 3>send Jeff in there. But I just couldn't accept it. <v Speaker 3>For a couple of minutes, you were. <v Speaker 2>So confident it wasn't gonna be you, Like we thought <v Speaker 2>maybe somebody would get sent in for the whole movie. <v Speaker 2>You was like, oh, it's gonna be Damn. I'm like, <v Speaker 2>it won't be me. I'm safe. <v Speaker 3>Yeah. I was like, it wouldn't be funny sending me, <v Speaker 3>and it was. It was actually kind of funny. <v Speaker 4>The thing is, it's like we've watched it a couple <v Speaker 4>of times. Mike watched it twice on two continents in <v Speaker 4>the same week, but like it's always been like, oh, <v Speaker 4>let's get some drinks or like a past we pulled <v Speaker 4>a bunch of people in the room. We're all kind <v Speaker 4>of like drinking and laughing and making fun of it <v Speaker 4>and stuff. But when you're in there with silence, we <v Speaker 4>weren't allowed to talk in there, even when there's multiple <v Speaker 4>people and none of us had phones or anything, you <v Speaker 4>do really notice all of these little jokes and stuff <v Speaker 4>that maybe we talked over or something before, and it <v Speaker 4>is legitimately worse than we thought it was. <v Speaker 3>Yes, it's uh, it really is one of the worst <v Speaker 3>movies I've ever seen, and it's like just the most <v Speaker 3>depressing watch. It really is. <v Speaker 4>Pasically as someone who we all play games, and it's <v Speaker 4>a whole depiction like this is a movie for gamers, <v Speaker 4>you know, gamers us, you know, and it's like so there. <v Speaker 2>Are multiple scenes about how like more people should be <v Speaker 2>attracted to and want to have sex with gamers. There's <v Speaker 2>a lot of like talking about gamers as if it's <v Speaker 2>like I don't know an ethnicity or something like, it's <v Speaker 2>real fucking weird. I hate it. <v Speaker 4>Wait wait, I seen the chat. Remember when Jack claimed <v Speaker 4>you were talking in the nubes booth? Uh, several of <v Speaker 4>you were in there with me. I I hand to god, <v Speaker 4>I didn't fucking say. <v Speaker 3>There was some screaming, There were there wellations of grunts <v Speaker 3>and groans, but the only person I remember talking was <v Speaker 3>Mike and the movie stopple. He did that and it <v Speaker 3>was like, really, he said thank you as the movie <v Speaker 3>skipped for a second and then it came right back. Yeah, <v Speaker 3>the whole movie froze for a bit and went to black, <v Speaker 3>and I just it was like, oh, thank god, But <v Speaker 3>then it came back and then I had to stay <v Speaker 3>that longer. <v Speaker 1>I think we need to do maybe on a revenge <v Speaker 1>and so or something like that. We need to do <v Speaker 1>like a list top ten movies for gamers, like. <v Speaker 2>Actual good movies for gamers or. <v Speaker 1>No, just like I know, we can decide how we <v Speaker 1>want to approach this. I don't think movies gamers deserve, <v Speaker 1>like movies that gamers would like so we can like, <v Speaker 1>I mean, I feel like you could then be like, oh, Jamunji, <v Speaker 1>you can go in there. <v Speaker 3>Yeah. <v Speaker 2>Game is a gamer with Gerard Butler or was it <v Speaker 2>Clive Owen? <v Speaker 4>I always mix those guys. That one's kind of Incredibles. <v Speaker 1>Originally called Citizen Game, which me and Danny were like, <v Speaker 1>do have to change the name of our website? <v Speaker 2>Changed? Free Guy or Extra Man? What was they? <v Speaker 1>Is Sore a movie for gamers? I would I would <v Speaker 1>say it is, yeah, because it's. <v Speaker 2>Like really into escape rooms. <v Speaker 1>I mean like, isn't what is an escape room? If <v Speaker 1>not an I R O L gamer. <v Speaker 2>It's like an adventure. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, yeah, we've got that. We've got like Final <v Speaker 1>Fantasy the Spirits within. <v Speaker 2>One because even people who specifically like that franchise would <v Speaker 2>get almost nothing out of that movie. It has nothing <v Speaker 2>to do with any. <v Speaker 3>Instead of Ready Player one, let's just have a I <v Speaker 3>create the film version of Ernest Klein's poetry about nerdy girls. <v Speaker 2>That would be really well for tomorrow. <v Speaker 1>That's gonna be like number one on the list of <v Speaker 1>good movies. Games. <v Speaker 3>Recket Ralph is definitely actually up there, very good. <v Speaker 1>Yes, how about how about Mila Joviovic's Monster Hunter. <v Speaker 2>Oh my god, the movie is so bad. Yes, Oh, <v Speaker 2>that movie is so It's so weird. It's like, well, <v Speaker 2>we're gonna make a bunster movie, but it's gonna be <v Speaker 2>a Kai about like a military force from the real world. <v Speaker 2>It gets throught. It's a monster hunter. <v Speaker 1>Lid what Speaking of Monster Hunter, we have a note <v Speaker 1>in the run a show from Jan which reads John <v Speaker 1>no hyphen monster Hunt wilds is sick a f Jan. <v Speaker 1>Would you like to elaborate? Thanks? Jan? Has anyone else <v Speaker 1>been playing monsa Hunter? <v Speaker 3>Real quick? We should say? Chand's doing all right, everybody. <v Speaker 3>He's okay. Yeah, he's bouncing back. He's just kind of <v Speaker 3>he's gonna take some some time off, I think, to <v Speaker 3>like just recover, not from like any like super serious <v Speaker 3>medical condition. I'll let him talk about when he wants to, <v Speaker 3>if he wants to, but just to say, don't worry <v Speaker 3>about Jane. He's doing all right. Let's just let him rest. <v Speaker 2>Yes, I'll send him love though, and maybe venmo him <v Speaker 2>money whatever. <v Speaker 1>If you can't find his last shop, just send him <v Speaker 1>loads of money. <v Speaker 2>There you go. Yeah, And when I'm playing I played <v Speaker 2>it on PS five and it was very fun, but <v Speaker 2>the performance was pretty rough on there, so that was <v Speaker 2>kind of my lum were there. <v Speaker 1>Was that in what way? <v Speaker 2>Well, here's performance mode and fidelity mode, and in performance <v Speaker 2>mode it's like running out a decent frame rate, but <v Speaker 2>everything is very blurry, right, Like the resolution is terrible <v Speaker 2>and normally I'm willing to make a lot of sacrifices <v Speaker 2>to get a pretty good frame rate, but it was <v Speaker 2>pretty rough. So even I tried fidelity mode and then <v Speaker 2>there the frame it was just real bad. So it <v Speaker 2>was kind of like, choose what when, what way you <v Speaker 2>want the game to look shitty? But that was back <v Speaker 2>when it was only on PS five. It has since <v Speaker 2>the bait has come to Xbox PC. I think people <v Speaker 2>are having better luck on PC with at least higher <v Speaker 2>end builds. I assume Jen was powered by NZXT when <v Speaker 2>he was playing beta. <v Speaker 3>Yeah he didn't. <v Speaker 2>He waited for the PC version. <v Speaker 1>I think I hope there's some like sort of device <v Speaker 1>that is potentially coming out soon that may remedy some <v Speaker 1>of this. Who knows, I. <v Speaker 2>Mean, just like I don't know. <v Speaker 3>I think you'd have to be a professional though to <v Speaker 3>even get something like that. <v Speaker 1>Someone should hit up Marksony and see if he knows <v Speaker 1>anything about this. <v Speaker 3>That dude is so knee deep in ears right now, <v Speaker 3>there's no way. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, I you know what, I've heard that reference so <v Speaker 4>many times now, but I don't think I saw the <v Speaker 4>state of player or whatever it was, So I have <v Speaker 4>no idea what that's about. <v Speaker 2>Why did he want. <v Speaker 3>Ears in the PS five reveal technical like stream that <v Speaker 3>they do that they tend to do with Mark Serni. <v Speaker 3>He explained that they would have a new three D <v Speaker 3>audio like object based audio technology that would work really <v Speaker 3>well with their headset. But to take it super advantage <v Speaker 3>of this, what they want you to do is take <v Speaker 3>pictures of your ear, send it to Sony, and then <v Speaker 3>they will build a profile based on that that will <v Speaker 3>be able to take advantage of the contours of your <v Speaker 3>own individual ears to be super great, excellent, double good <v Speaker 3>three D audio. And so mart Mark Sarney said, We're <v Speaker 3>gonna have you send us your ears, and uh, I <v Speaker 3>don't think they ever actually ended up doing anything with that, <v Speaker 3>or there was a specific. <v Speaker 4>Tool for it, like when you're trying to put your <v Speaker 4>face in Tony hawk Hunderground. <v Speaker 3>This is they're not the only yeah kind of They're <v Speaker 3>not the only company has done this. There's a I've <v Speaker 3>definitely taken pictures of my ears and send it to <v Speaker 3>tech companies before. So uh yeah, there was. <v Speaker 1>A Reddit plus a little while back where I'm not <v Speaker 1>sure if it was real or not, but like someone <v Speaker 1>just like looked at Mark Serny's likes and it was <v Speaker 1>just to really. <v Speaker 4>Is and people were like, I'm trying to I don't know. <v Speaker 3>It was difficult, right because I didn't want to, like <v Speaker 3>base to take pictures in my ears. <v Speaker 1>They go, you did it? <v Speaker 2>You know that was a good picture of your ear. Wow, <v Speaker 2>that's a great ear. Look at that. Yeah, that's real good. <v Speaker 3>Right now, many right now? <v Speaker 1>But what did you What did you think about it? Then, Mitch, <v Speaker 1>Rather than the performance was a bit scheduled, Oh it <v Speaker 1>was super fun. I mean I wat context and history <v Speaker 1>with it. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, ever played a little bit of it, then like World, <v Speaker 2>I played a bit more, and then Rise I played <v Speaker 2>a good amount of not a crazy amount, but a <v Speaker 2>good amount of. But I'm like really in the mood <v Speaker 2>for it, so I'm excited for a whiles. That's where <v Speaker 2>I really really want to dive in. But you know <v Speaker 2>that the more open world stuff is nice. It is <v Speaker 2>it is good to just be able to kind of <v Speaker 2>look at the map, find a monster there, and then <v Speaker 2>go get him and that starts a mission. And also <v Speaker 2>when you kill a monster, you know, just have the <v Speaker 2>countdown and think like, okay, you're gonna go back to town. <v Speaker 2>Now you can keep running around, you know, do more stuff, <v Speaker 2>have fun that way. The intro is very cut scene heavy, <v Speaker 2>and it's the intro I already played at games Calm, <v Speaker 2>so I was, you know, kind of a little bit. <v Speaker 1>I'm not just supposed to sing heavy. <v Speaker 2>It was a cut scene heavy, oh I heard. I <v Speaker 2>was like war a lot and Monster Hunter, right. <v Speaker 1>Imagine a Rathlos just turning to you and be like, <v Speaker 1>fuck you work it on. <v Speaker 2>I'm not like superposed to cut scenes or stories and games, <v Speaker 2>but Monster Hunter is one where I really little confused <v Speaker 2>why there's as much of it as there is, especially <v Speaker 2>in the beginning. And it's kind of a weird thing <v Speaker 2>to have me play a lot in a beta, and <v Speaker 2>I know it's more it's almost more of a demo <v Speaker 2>than a beta in a lot of ways, but I <v Speaker 2>really don't want to be sitting there for twenty minutes <v Speaker 2>learning about nothing. I don't know. I don't know something <v Speaker 2>about somebody's brother and I had to go help them. <v Speaker 2>Oh lame, I get. <v Speaker 3>I mean that was definitely the thing with Worlds right <v Speaker 3>where it's like, oh, I want to play that on <v Speaker 3>PC now that it's out on PC. After I played <v Speaker 3>a bunch on PS four and getting into it for <v Speaker 3>like five minutes and realizing all the bullshit I'd have <v Speaker 3>to go through again and say to myself, well, that <v Speaker 3>that's just not going to happen. <v Speaker 2>I'm not going to do that. <v Speaker 3>So that's they have a bad habit of that. I mean, clearly, <v Speaker 3>it doesn't get in the way of the success of <v Speaker 3>these games. But you know, I'm a little disappointed to <v Speaker 3>hear that. But whatever, we'll get. <v Speaker 2>That'suff. I think it is front loaded. I bet you <v Speaker 2>get further. I think you're way less of it. <v Speaker 1>Sure, yeah, anyone down that you have any interest in <v Speaker 1>checking out months What is your history with Mansa Hunta. <v Speaker 4>Honestly, my history is just I think I reviewed Freedom <v Speaker 4>for the Wii for Game Informer despite my pleas that <v Speaker 4>I was not the right guy for this because I <v Speaker 4>don't know about Monster Hunter, and sure enough I didn't <v Speaker 4>like it, and then Monster Hunter fans came after me, <v Speaker 4>and then I decided to play World because I heard <v Speaker 4>that was like, Okay, that's the one where, like, you know, <v Speaker 4>you don't really have to be a monster on a person. <v Speaker 4>This is kind of like a modernized almost like a <v Speaker 4>reboot type thing. And I did play a good amount <v Speaker 4>of World, like like dozens of hours I remember, and <v Speaker 4>enjoyed it, played it multiplayer, and then I tried to <v Speaker 4>play the Wii one for a second and got bored <v Speaker 4>or not we switched. Yeah, yeah, so I basically, long <v Speaker 4>story short, I'm interested in trying this one out. It <v Speaker 4>sounds like this is like the follow up to World, <v Speaker 4>which I did enjoy but we'll see, we'll see. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, I'm I'm there with you. Where I enjoyed World <v Speaker 3>quite a bit, didn't play as much as Monster Hunter <v Speaker 3>fans play of those games, but I got pretty deep <v Speaker 3>into it. This is the one where I'm like, oh, <v Speaker 3>I am looking forward to us like dedicating a couple <v Speaker 3>of weeks worth of streams to playing the multiplayer, doing <v Speaker 3>some missions together, hanging out like trying to get some <v Speaker 3>cool armor. Uh so, yeah, I'm really looking forward to <v Speaker 3>this one. And yeah, especially after most like I tried <v Speaker 3>a little bit of rise in the demo, but I <v Speaker 3>skipped that one overall. So I'm like, okay, I know <v Speaker 3>I'm ready for Monster Hunter again. So looking forward to it, <v Speaker 3>but I haven't touched this beta. <v Speaker 2>Is it still running? Is it still going? <v Speaker 1>So? <v Speaker 2>Probably done? <v Speaker 1>Done? <v Speaker 2>I don't know. <v Speaker 1>I don't not be wrong. <v Speaker 3>It took a play test ends today, so I was <v Speaker 3>paying more of that last night. Still can't talk about it. <v Speaker 2>It's done. Yeah, the game comes out in February, I think, right, okay, yep, <v Speaker 2>that's right. I'll be here before you. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, yep, done. You've been playing card blops. <v Speaker 2>Right, Yeah. <v Speaker 4>I just played the campaign and it's been a while. <v Speaker 4>Like I used to play every Call of Duty and really, <v Speaker 4>you know, loved it. And I was always a big <v Speaker 4>campaign guy. <v Speaker 2>You know. I like multiplayer too, but I just like <v Speaker 2>the action movie. <v Speaker 4>Style campaigns, and I kind of fell off after what <v Speaker 4>was the last one I really liked there was Infinite Warfare. <v Speaker 2>There was a oh the Modern Warfare reboot. I fell <v Speaker 2>off after that one, yea, yeah, yeah. <v Speaker 4>I didn't really care about like Vanguard or WW two <v Speaker 4>or any of those. Never played Cold War, but I <v Speaker 4>just saw some early buzz about this one. Being good, <v Speaker 4>pop back in and sure enough, the mission variety is <v Speaker 4>just incredible. Every mission feels very distinct. They do something <v Speaker 4>like that. There's a couple open missions, specifically the one <v Speaker 4>where I think you're in Kuwait and you're just going <v Speaker 4>around and have a bunch of different like sam sites <v Speaker 4>and things like that to disable and blow up, and god, <v Speaker 4>it was super duper fun. It's very mission impossible in <v Speaker 4>like twenty four more than it is like the Hoorah <v Speaker 4>stay frosty, you know, military sky kind of. <v Speaker 3>I was getting those vibes from the trailers. I'm glad <v Speaker 3>to hear that. That sounds like the right area for <v Speaker 3>call duty to be in. Instead of trying to constantly <v Speaker 3>do the same military stuff, I just get a little <v Speaker 3>bit more into the spy fiction, and it sounds like <v Speaker 3>that's what they. <v Speaker 4>Did, down to the level of like Bond type gadgets <v Speaker 4>for some of my favorite weapon and it was this <v Speaker 4>homing knife that you could throw in it like matrix <v Speaker 4>visions your fucking knife and then you can steer the <v Speaker 4>knife and you can remotely detonate it. So just seemed <v Speaker 4>like a due to the shield coming in and you're like, <v Speaker 4>fuck you, you throw a knife, you'd steer the knife <v Speaker 4>behind him and exploded. It felt awesome every time, Like <v Speaker 4>I just super duper fun, really really enjoyed the campaign. <v Speaker 1>Are you do you intend on checking out playing any <v Speaker 1>of the multiplayer all. <v Speaker 4>I've done a handful of you know that did Nuketown <v Speaker 4>this weekend. I played some of that Zombies. I want <v Speaker 4>to do with a group. You know, I never was <v Speaker 4>the biggest on the Zombies modes, but I think it <v Speaker 4>can be fun with a group. So yeah, I was <v Speaker 4>talking to Grab about maybe trying to get a squad <v Speaker 4>together for this week maybe. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, So yeah, I would like to do as well <v Speaker 1>at some point. I've always heard Zombies is really fun. <v Speaker 1>I think I only tried it once or twice and <v Speaker 1>it didn't really click with me. <v Speaker 4>I used to and you know, they, yeah, they would <v Speaker 4>take you to these review events and stuff, so it <v Speaker 4>would be like today is Zombie's Day and you're just <v Speaker 4>sitting down and just playing Zombies for a while. <v Speaker 2>So, like, I spent some time with it, and it's <v Speaker 2>always it just. <v Speaker 4>Felt like this weird Like you have to grab this <v Speaker 4>lamp and turn it upside down and put it into <v Speaker 4>a slot and you put three quarters in there and <v Speaker 4>that unlock your gun upgrade and it's like. <v Speaker 2>Very like, what why would I do this? <v Speaker 4>I got to make this train go into a like <v Speaker 4>it's just a bunch of weird shit you have to <v Speaker 4>do to progress. <v Speaker 2>And I didn't love that. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, and I couldn't. I could never tell if all <v Speaker 3>of the love for zombies was like this is a <v Speaker 3>good game mode or zombie people are happy that they <v Speaker 3>got zombies in another game, like, and it was always <v Speaker 3>felt like maybe it leaned more towards that, and so <v Speaker 3>I was like, Okay, well you listen. I'm not gonna <v Speaker 3>take anything away from you guys, but I'm happy with multiplayer. <v Speaker 3>I'm gonna stick with that. But it's it's been successful <v Speaker 3>for so long at this point, I'm sort of reassessing that. <v Speaker 3>I'm like, I'm ready to give it another shot. <v Speaker 2>And see maybe if it's something for me. I remember <v Speaker 2>I liked it in World at War. <v Speaker 4>I think that was the first time, and it was <v Speaker 4>a little novel and not super complicated at that point. <v Speaker 4>And then wasn't there wasn't there a black where you <v Speaker 4>like make JFK and Nixon scissor or something. <v Speaker 2>It's in all games. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, scissor. It's like Henry Kissinger and JFK could scissor, <v Speaker 4>you know, I mean like. <v Speaker 3>Not, I'm not the pornographic version, Mike. <v Speaker 4>Yes, yes, yeah, if they're down but not out and <v Speaker 4>then you know, just a very funny visual. <v Speaker 2>Not at. <v Speaker 1>He's taking a scissor. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, you can manipulated. Yeah. I've also been joined <v Speaker 2>the multiplayer though it has been a lot of fun. No, <v Speaker 2>so that's that's a point down. Yeah. I was playing <v Speaker 2>with with with with Jeff and Sean and Christian one <v Speaker 2>point I was playing with my brothers. And I'm somebody <v Speaker 2>who never I liked called any multiplayer here and there. <v Speaker 2>I've never really got super into it. I've never prestiged <v Speaker 2>or anything like that. I know. No, I'm a fake <v Speaker 2>prestige in titan Fall one. I think that's the only <v Speaker 2>game like that I ever prestiged. And but it's felt great. <v Speaker 2>I was really enjoying it, and I'd be super happy <v Speaker 2>to play more of it. Yeah, there's not a. <v Speaker 4>Bunch of like like I like the gimmick multiplayer modes, <v Speaker 4>a gun game and stuff like that, and I can <v Speaker 4>always add that. But so far I looked in the list, <v Speaker 4>it was a lot of you know, Headquarters TDM kill Confirmed, <v Speaker 4>like you know, they're fun. <v Speaker 2>I just kill Confirmed mostly and I thought that was <v Speaker 2>pretty fun. Yeah. Yeah. <v Speaker 3>We also did what was the high Value Target one? <v Speaker 2>That's that's that's when I was playing, sorry, Jeff, Yeah, <v Speaker 2>the one where somebody on each team is kind of <v Speaker 2>like the high value target and so you're defending yours. Yeah. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>that's just like enough of a spin on Team Deaf <v Speaker 2>match to feel a bit more still Order, thank you Order. <v Speaker 2>That's see. It had the word killing it. Yeah, weird <v Speaker 2>that we can't remember that very good. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, it's called counterstrick, that's right. Sorry, I was like <v Speaker 3>trying to remember, like who was the like, uh, secretary, <v Speaker 3>he's still of Defense. That was in one of the games. <v Speaker 3>Roberts Robert McNamara was in there. Uh Robert McNamara from <v Speaker 3>Game in Former. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 3>I was like, so like googled Robert McNamara called Duty <v Speaker 3>and like instead of like bringing up his like Wikipedia <v Speaker 3>or something, it brought up just his page from like <v Speaker 3>the fandom, and it's like, Robert McNamara is a character <v Speaker 3>from Call of Duty. I'm like, I think he might <v Speaker 3>be more than that, but fair. <v Speaker 2>Enough it's not. <v Speaker 4>It's really funny to play a game where it's just like, Okay, <v Speaker 4>I'm in this mission where it's like, oh, there's just <v Speaker 4>Bill Clinton on this model Call of Duty Bill Clinton, <v Speaker 4>and I tried to rush the stage in the game <v Speaker 4>and they take you down pretty quick. <v Speaker 2>Like I never won't make that joke. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, I do want to play more Call of Duty <v Speaker 3>multiplayer though, it has been really fun. I missed Nuketown <v Speaker 3>like it was Newtown twenty four to seven, right, is that? <v Speaker 3>But now it's the map like just in rotation? <v Speaker 2>Is that how it works? You guys? <v Speaker 4>Know you can just pick Nuketown, or at least this <v Speaker 4>weekend you could, and it's just like you're just gonna <v Speaker 4>play Nuke. <v Speaker 3>Down Okay, Yeah, well yes, I wanted to go in <v Speaker 3>there with my double XP points from Little Caesar's and <v Speaker 3>really just upgrade my characters. Yeah, you know, from my <v Speaker 3>double X points from Little Caesars. <v Speaker 1>Damn, I don't understand what. <v Speaker 4>Had double XP for Titan Fall, Like this is this <v Speaker 4>is the way this is because the way. <v Speaker 1>The shocking thing is someone's spend money at Little Caesars. <v Speaker 2>I don't get him on that. I'm not a Little <v Speaker 2>Caesars guy, sometimes you want to buy. <v Speaker 3>While I was at Dan's house, Sean Turbow turns to me, <v Speaker 3>He's like, I was skeptical. I ordered from Little Caesars. <v Speaker 3>He likes the hot ready to be fair, which is fine. <v Speaker 3>You're right, I like it too. But he ordered pizza <v Speaker 3>from Little Caesar, said it was very good. I will <v Speaker 3>not hear anything bad about Little Caesar. <v Speaker 4>Hey, but how about how about my special Dominoes order? <v Speaker 4>You had some of that pretty ad I like to <v Speaker 4>quite a bit. <v Speaker 1>Yes, what was that? Remind people? <v Speaker 2>Thin crust? All right? <v Speaker 4>Domino's thin crust. You replace the Marinera sauce with barbecue sauce, <v Speaker 4>and you put Italian sausage on it and you dip <v Speaker 4>it in ranch. <v Speaker 2>Okay, it was smoke it. Yeah, they couldn't roll up. <v Speaker 2>It's a very crackery crust. To be it was very good, Dan, <v Speaker 2>But to be clear, that thin crust is kind of strange, right, Yeah, <v Speaker 2>it was super super glossy texture on that thing, the <v Speaker 2>c that's the flavor. <v Speaker 1>Can you describe the flavor of glossy to me? <v Speaker 2>No, there's not. <v Speaker 4>But it's like they take a butter brush and lovingly <v Speaker 4>painted lovingly. <v Speaker 2>It's very glossy and uh yeah, I think the dough <v Speaker 2>wasn't seasoned at all too. I don't know. The thin <v Speaker 2>crust thing was a little weird to be. I think <v Speaker 2>I would just get that on a normal pizza dough. <v Speaker 2>I've done it. It's not evenly good. <v Speaker 3>The thin crust is not as good as like a Dinados, <v Speaker 3>for sure. <v Speaker 1>I've never been to Little Season. I just know that <v Speaker 1>it sets down off so on. <v Speaker 2>It's just no getting off. <v Speaker 4>I don't have strong feelings about Little Caesars. I don't <v Speaker 4>remember the last time. I like to defend the lower <v Speaker 4>tier garbage brand foods because I think some people, the people. <v Speaker 2>I know, some people get up on their high horse. <v Speaker 4>About this and like Taco bell is gonna make a <v Speaker 4>shit or what you like. No, I like to defend <v Speaker 4>the low tier fast food. <v Speaker 3>Somebody's doing it. <v Speaker 2>Yes, I don't want to throw the word hero around. <v Speaker 2>You can in this case. <v Speaker 1>I saw an advert I was watching basketball, and it's <v Speaker 1>for like a restaurant, one of these chain restaurants that <v Speaker 1>definitely has no business doing chicken wings. But they had <v Speaker 1>chicken wings in it, and it was the most disgusting <v Speaker 1>looking chicken wings I have ever seen in my life. <v Speaker 4>Trying to think I've seen that recently. I can't remember Dominoes. <v Speaker 4>Actually don't. <v Speaker 1>It's no dominos. It was something. It's something crazy like <v Speaker 1>it's dunkin Donuts or some crazy things like that, and <v Speaker 1>like why why do these people have chicken wings? And <v Speaker 1>why do you look so awful? <v Speaker 2>Can you imagine if Tucket has had glazed chicken wigs? <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I mean I'll find out, don't worry about I'll <v Speaker 1>find out. I played a little bit I started the <v Speaker 1>campaign on and yeah, and it was yeah, it's a <v Speaker 1>it is what I wanted out of what I have <v Speaker 1>wanted from a call of duty. Again, for a long time, <v Speaker 1>I felt like we got to the point where it <v Speaker 1>became maya down in trying to be like that military <v Speaker 1>ra thing that you were talking about in a way <v Speaker 1>that I didn't really appreciate, where it was kind of <v Speaker 1>like glorification of it and. <v Speaker 2>This one specifically or no, no, just generally. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, and even like the kind of like weirder ones <v Speaker 1>like Infinite Warfare had had elements of that where I <v Speaker 1>was like, are you is this I'm getting vague nationalist <v Speaker 1>vibes from this, which I'm not sure. <v Speaker 2>I like, and they're doing like Starship Trooper satire. <v Speaker 6>No, No, they're like it's like they're they're helping, like <v Speaker 6>the the teenager to military pipeline get a bit smoother <v Speaker 6>in a way that I just was like, I don't <v Speaker 6>even if you're not doing this, it feels that way. <v Speaker 1>It doesn't feel like you're being stupid with your Call <v Speaker 1>of Duty games, because I remember when it was just like, <v Speaker 1>oh shit, everything's exploding, got to run through this. But <v Speaker 1>now I turned this one on and it was just like, oh, <v Speaker 1>this is dumb as hell. Everyone is just shouting at <v Speaker 1>each other. There's some sort of interrogation happening where it's <v Speaker 1>very unclear what anyone is talking about, and then it <v Speaker 1>just cuts to like ten seconds letters like use this <v Speaker 1>RC car to blow up a lot bunch of people. <v Speaker 2>I was like, all right, yeah, I mean the way <v Speaker 2>the missions mix things up. <v Speaker 4>It'll be like, oh, here's super serious kureait mission, and <v Speaker 4>it'll be like, let's do an ocean's eleven heights in <v Speaker 4>a casino. <v Speaker 2>Okay, sure sounds great. <v Speaker 1>So I played a little bit of it. I'm definitely <v Speaker 1>trying to play. It's very interesting to me how I mean, <v Speaker 1>this is very obvious, but like I just think back <v Speaker 1>at like how it used to be, where it's crazy <v Speaker 1>that Treyarch is the best Call of Duty development now <v Speaker 1>because it was the Infinity Ward for a really long time, <v Speaker 1>and there was there was a time where people used <v Speaker 1>to be bummed out when the Infinity Ward would get <v Speaker 1>like I pushed the sideline for a tray off. <v Speaker 2>They got off on the like the wrong foot because <v Speaker 2>their first one is called Duty three, which people didn't like. <v Speaker 2>And then like the War was like immediately yeah better, <v Speaker 2>but like four was four, so it was a huge deal. <v Speaker 2>Yeah now uh, and it was kind of taken over. <v Speaker 4>Well, and World of War was also seen as like, oh, ship, <v Speaker 4>we moved past w W two. <v Speaker 2>We're doing you know, modern work. We're doing World War <v Speaker 2>two again. <v Speaker 3>The World War was good, but yes it wasn't four. <v Speaker 3>Yeah right right, it's a good game. But we're post <v Speaker 3>this ship. I wish we're games were set in it. <v Speaker 1>But War is the ship, Mitch. <v Speaker 2>He always says that, yeah, it was. <v Speaker 4>I mean it was post that Modern Warfare two exit <v Speaker 4>after that with the Zampella and West and then like <v Speaker 4>yeah three, I mean that's what Infinity the order scene <v Speaker 4>is like it's like Leonard Skinner after the plane crash. <v Speaker 4>It's got the same name, but it's like this says <v Speaker 4>in Leonard Skinner that exact situation. <v Speaker 2>It seemed like there was maybe a bit of time, <v Speaker 2>maybe like four years ago, like okay, Call Duties finally <v Speaker 2>like maybe winding down a little bit, reviews getting worse, <v Speaker 2>like you know, maybe it's losing something. Maybe we are <v Speaker 2>going to have a world where called Didy isn't the <v Speaker 2>end all be all? And then it just seems like, <v Speaker 2>oh no, if they were able to just bring that <v Speaker 2>right back by kind of depending on you know, modern <v Speaker 2>warfare and black ops again and just sort of maybe <v Speaker 2>they released a really high quality one this time, do <v Speaker 2>you think we're anywhere near this franchise diminishing. <v Speaker 1>I think what happened is it transitioned kind of the <v Speaker 1>place it has in people's lives. I think Call of <v Speaker 1>Duty was when it for a long time, during the <v Speaker 1>height of its success, it was still very much to <v Speaker 1>us a first person shoot experience that came out in <v Speaker 1>a regular cadence, but we treated it like one of <v Speaker 1>our things, right, Like the gaming industry, people who had <v Speaker 1>a close eye on games and played games like regularly. <v Speaker 1>I think it's since then it's graduated or it's moved <v Speaker 1>out of that territory for us, and it now occupies <v Speaker 1>a place in broader culture and mainstream culture. <v Speaker 3>Place too, like on a sale place. It is part <v Speaker 3>of the culture for it is it is. <v Speaker 1>I think of it as a yearly sports game with guns, <v Speaker 1>like it's never gonna I don't think it's gonna fade. <v Speaker 1>I think it will always have people coming in and <v Speaker 1>out of it, Like there's been some absolutely atrocious FIFA <v Speaker 1>games and Madden games and NBA games and NHL games, <v Speaker 1>but ultimately they still put they have a baseline of <v Speaker 1>popularity that people will They kind of accept it going <v Speaker 1>up and down in the same way they accept their <v Speaker 1>sports teams being shipped for a season or whatever it <v Speaker 1>may be. That's kind of part of the process now <v Speaker 1>and as part of the experience of playing these games. <v Speaker 1>So I feel like we've reached a point now where <v Speaker 1>it's it's perennially popular to a certain level. It's always <v Speaker 1>going to be relevant. The only chance it had of <v Speaker 1>being pushed into like a lower level of appeal would <v Speaker 1>have been if Battlefield stepped it up. And I feel <v Speaker 1>like Battlefield's fallen off pretty hard. It's certainly like still <v Speaker 1>the niche first person shoot a multiplayer game because you <v Speaker 1>can jump out of their plane and then kill someone <v Speaker 1>and jump back into a plane and the sweaty If <v Speaker 1>people like this place, yeah yeah, but in terms of <v Speaker 1>it doesn't compete on a global, multi billion dollar franchise <v Speaker 1>way that Call of Duty does, And if it did, <v Speaker 1>maybe Microsoft would have bought that instead. Or is you <v Speaker 1>know what I mean, Like there's a reason like Xbox went, <v Speaker 1>you know, or like we're buying this second thing because <v Speaker 1>it's going to be there forever. It's the world of <v Speaker 1>warcraft or first person shooters. It's never going away. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, and now they have like multiple places where they <v Speaker 3>can like return to ground. Right if the seventy dollars <v Speaker 3>game comes out and it's not high quality, they could <v Speaker 3>shift to be like, let's put a lot more resources <v Speaker 3>in the war zone this year and give those people <v Speaker 3>somewhere else that is still Call of Duty to go <v Speaker 3>spend their time. Here's here's a mobile game that is <v Speaker 3>actually surprisingly good, and now we're gonna do another Call <v Speaker 3>of Duty mobile game coming out in the next year <v Speaker 3>or so. So they got like all these different prongs <v Speaker 3>to sort of get the Call of Duty audience and <v Speaker 3>keep them engaged even if something isn't hitting at the <v Speaker 3>top of the top of its capabilities question for you both, <v Speaker 3>you guys, I always like it in the Call of <v Speaker 3>Duty games where it turns out that the bad guy <v Speaker 3>was some US military general all along. Do you guys <v Speaker 3>get the sense that it's going to be the case <v Speaker 3>in this game? <v Speaker 2>Pretty early on there they may they're like, it seems bad. <v Speaker 1>It's like, yeah, yeah, I mean like the Black Ops <v Speaker 1>kind of like through line has always been like don't <v Speaker 1>trust anyone, even your own government. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, that's yeah, without spoiling anything, it's it's there is <v Speaker 4>and things like that. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, that might be the most truthful thing a Quota <v Speaker 1>of Duty has ever said. <v Speaker 4>The Pantheon this like PMC basically is like a main <v Speaker 4>antagonist and then there's like some reveal stuff and there <v Speaker 4>is a clear main antagon in this and that is <v Speaker 4>a huge part of the end of the game. <v Speaker 2>But yeah, it's but that's spoiling it. It's pretty fun. <v Speaker 1>And do you feel like you've been Mandela affected by <v Speaker 1>Mela Solid four in that once you saw the the <v Speaker 1>phrase PMC you've non stop kept seeing p MC everywhere now, <v Speaker 1>because that's how it was for me. <v Speaker 4>The Metal Gear Solid four invented the concept of PMCs. <v Speaker 7>Okay, you go one step further, has invented private military corporation. <v Speaker 2>Connect game. Yeah, that's right. <v Speaker 1>And then he made a prequel for Metal again and <v Speaker 1>invented nuclear weapons, which was crazy. <v Speaker 2>He didn't really have to do. That was irresponsible. I <v Speaker 2>don't like getting political on here, but not going to <v Speaker 2>defend him. <v Speaker 1>I'd like to thank Cospot for correctly identifying the restaurant <v Speaker 1>that had the gross looking chicken strips chicken wings advert. <v Speaker 1>It was Dairy Queen. <v Speaker 3>I was gonna. <v Speaker 2>I just never want heart eats a Dairy Queen only. <v Speaker 1>There's just something fundamentally gross about going to Dairy Queen <v Speaker 1>and ordering chicken. <v Speaker 2>I'm gonna go try it, not doing it. <v Speaker 3>I'm going to defend Dairy Queen from this high minded, <v Speaker 3>high horse motherfucker Dan Ryker. <v Speaker 4>If you're on a road trip and it's the only <v Speaker 4>option and you got to take a ship and you're <v Speaker 4>in there anyways. <v Speaker 2>Going to dairy Queen, all right, Yeah, I'm fine with <v Speaker 2>Dairy Queen. <v Speaker 1>I feel like I feel like they're cannibalizing their own <v Speaker 1>business by killing the chickens who are responsible for the <v Speaker 1>dairy on they a degree. <v Speaker 4>Hang on, I have questions, where do you think milk <v Speaker 4>comes from? Damn chickennot wait no, wait, okay, milk doesn't <v Speaker 4>come from chickens. <v Speaker 2>Is that what you were implying? <v Speaker 1>I was joking. I was trying to. <v Speaker 2>You're so much weirder than him. <v Speaker 1>If you hadn't said anything, we could have convinced him. <v Speaker 2>I still get people. I'll be like I don't want <v Speaker 2>beans in my brito and like, wow, you're weird at <v Speaker 2>the dad, and like, where does milk come from? <v Speaker 4>It's like, oh, dad, he's a different kind. No, no, <v Speaker 4>I think I remember that this was damning for you, Mike. <v Speaker 4>I think initially over the weekend, Kayla, my sister, said <v Speaker 4>that I was weirder, and after getting spent some time <v Speaker 4>with you, she took it back. I was like, no, Okay, <v Speaker 4>Mike's weirder, and Kayla has known me my entire life, <v Speaker 4>not this public facing. <v Speaker 2>Kayla's great, also pretty weird. <v Speaker 1>I just went to a dairy queen website and it's <v Speaker 1>just full of things that are not dairy related. It's <v Speaker 1>like toast from him fries. <v Speaker 3>As the boy was sensitive teeth. I am glad that <v Speaker 3>when everyone decides we're going to Dairy Queen for like <v Speaker 3>treats or whatever, I could be like, I might just <v Speaker 3>get a cheese murger, so let me have my hot eats. <v Speaker 1>An there's a burger hit called the DQ Signature Stackburger, <v Speaker 1>which it looks it motherfucker. It looks like it's in <v Speaker 1>the wrong aspect ratio. I can't tell if. <v Speaker 2>That is the point or not. <v Speaker 3>Aspect Go to the website. <v Speaker 1>And just scroll down and you'll see it there. And <v Speaker 1>it's like, is this a badly stretched out picture or <v Speaker 1>is it meant to be like a stacked up thing? <v Speaker 1>Very confused. <v Speaker 3>Oh yeah, wow, that looks like the wrong aspect ratio. <v Speaker 1>But maybe this is like a scheme to like use <v Speaker 1>less of the each of the ingredients so you're saving money. <v Speaker 2>Need barbecue parmers and garlic sauce. <v Speaker 4>That just don't Queen's good. It's good. Chats reminded me. Yeah, <v Speaker 4>Kayla said, Mitch was weirder, but I'm dumber, and I said, <v Speaker 4>I'm willing to take that. <v Speaker 2>Yeah you can, Mike. <v Speaker 3>Why don't you like beans on your burrito. Do you <v Speaker 3>have some descriptions that that's really what set people off? <v Speaker 2>I just said, Now, I said, I said, the texture <v Speaker 2>of beans is a little grainy to me. Side there <v Speaker 2>that's it said, like sandy or something, And that's another <v Speaker 2>way of saying grainy or gritty. Yet you have the beans. <v Speaker 2>I don't. Yeah, I don't know a little bit. Well, <v Speaker 2>I don't think it was. I don't think it was <v Speaker 2>that much that I also said, I know I should. <v Speaker 2>I like beans now, I just haven't made the jump <v Speaker 2>to pulling them in my burritos yet, and I'm working <v Speaker 2>on it. That's like the best place for him. But <v Speaker 2>you think a number one, Yeah, I bet it makes sense. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>I should probably do it. <v Speaker 1>Is Derek Queen known for this thing blizzard? <v Speaker 2>Yeah? Does McDonald's have for eyes? Yes, of course. Listen <v Speaker 2>you I'm from the UK, the queen and it was delicious. <v Speaker 1>The mascot of every ship he restaurant is the mascot. <v Speaker 2>It's a signature. Whatever. Why why was Dennis the Menace <v Speaker 2>for a while? That weird? Remember? <v Speaker 1>Why why are the pictures of all these blizzards the <v Speaker 1>cup is upside down? <v Speaker 4>That's a gimmick they do We're just to show you <v Speaker 4>how like structurally the integrity of these things is so <v Speaker 4>solid that they will make you the Blizzard and then <v Speaker 4>to show you how cool it is, they will turn <v Speaker 4>it upside down and be like, hey, look at that. <v Speaker 2>It didn't come out. They do everything, even with the <v Speaker 2>ice cream cones. They do it. <v Speaker 1>It's final question. Did Bobby kotik ruin this Blizzard as well? <v Speaker 2>Or no? <v Speaker 4>Probably got them for the game damage. <v Speaker 1>For the people who love to watch uh Bang the Machine, <v Speaker 1>which is IMDb's number one UH movie on the list <v Speaker 1>of Gamers Movies for Gamers. Bang the Machine a documentary <v Speaker 1>of an exhibition tournament in Japan, showing a difference between <v Speaker 1>American and Japanese gaming cultures. <v Speaker 2>Differences. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's got it seems interesting. <v Speaker 2>What's Demolition Girl? I got a picture of Mike playing <v Speaker 2>Demolition Girl. No, no, you don't have it. The chat's <v Speaker 2>gonna have it here very soon. Don Oh my god, why. <v Speaker 1>Is this happening in public? You have to save this <v Speaker 1>for your private time. <v Speaker 2>Dan wanted me to play this game. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, you couldn't have a little bit of awareness and <v Speaker 1>raise your controller up a bit. <v Speaker 2>I didn't know what's being filmed. Ok, that's just my <v Speaker 2>comfy pus. <v Speaker 1>Have to for your controller at dick level. <v Speaker 2>Look how comfy I looved there? All right, listen, So <v Speaker 2>this is a game, an obscre budget p S two <v Speaker 2>game that I don't even think came out. Isn't us solved? <v Speaker 2>It wasn't it? And like there's a bunch of news <v Speaker 2>reports like in the game, and as always like tamn news, <v Speaker 2>it comes tam with the news. It's basically that like <v Speaker 2>you know, attack of the fifty foot woman thing, but <v Speaker 2>it's a Japanese pekin model. Yeah, And the game is <v Speaker 2>you're not her. <v Speaker 3>She's very big in a problem, and you're like a <v Speaker 3>helicopter and you have different about her and the very <v Speaker 3>big and a problem. He's one step away from starting <v Speaker 3>to complain about back chicks. <v Speaker 2>It's really bad over there. The first mission is that <v Speaker 2>you have to kind of you have to take her measurements, <v Speaker 2>so you you yeah, it'll be like, you know, target <v Speaker 2>her head, and then it'll ask you to target other <v Speaker 2>parts of her body, yeah, budgets. <v Speaker 1>On the screen, breast data acquisition. <v Speaker 2>And then like the next mission you had to like <v Speaker 2>put her to sleep, and it'll be like, you know, <v Speaker 2>you tell you what parts of her to target the <v Speaker 2>weapons you get, yeah, yeah, you get like special weapons. <v Speaker 2>You can throw a cake at her that'll make her <v Speaker 2>bend down to eat the cake. It looks like. <v Speaker 1>Your toes are slightly cold on this picture, which leads <v Speaker 1>me to believe you might be enjoying this as well, <v Speaker 1>which kind of worrying. <v Speaker 3>If I'm honest, you beat it. <v Speaker 2>Through the entire game. <v Speaker 1>Everyone, You just admitted to beating it while playing the <v Speaker 1>game of a naked half naked woman on that I'll <v Speaker 1>tell you what. <v Speaker 2>Not bad not a bad game, Like there's one mission <v Speaker 2>where you're in a take and you have to kind <v Speaker 2>of slow her down log enough for Tokyo to evacuate <v Speaker 2>before she gets there. And like the final biship, she's <v Speaker 2>climbing a tower like she's Kid Kong, and there's also <v Speaker 2>a giant alien, so you have to sort of get <v Speaker 2>to put her. You have to shrink her because you <v Speaker 2>have the antidote. Now you also have to fight the alien. <v Speaker 1>That's enough, Just a reminder. This is a podcast for children, <v Speaker 1>So let's switch over to Pokemon TCG Pocket. Mike tell <v Speaker 1>us about Pokemon TCG Pocket. <v Speaker 2>This is a mobile game, and I think I you know, <v Speaker 2>go on record a lot, say I don't like playing <v Speaker 2>games my phone, I don't like mobile games. I have <v Speaker 2>been playing the holy hell out of this Pokemon TCG. <v Speaker 1>When you say, what do you mean? Because I have <v Speaker 1>been experiencing this game and all I do is open <v Speaker 1>a pack once a day and then move on with <v Speaker 1>my life. <v Speaker 3>Now he was singing for that, like while we were <v Speaker 3>there hanging out, was checking this from multiple times? Can <v Speaker 3>I open it back? <v Speaker 2>And I open it back? But also is playing it right? <v Speaker 2>There is battles, and you can do a lot of <v Speaker 2>CPU battles. In fact, today or last night they added <v Speaker 2>a new campaign thing where you can get a special <v Speaker 2>Lapris card by playing a new set of CPU battles. <v Speaker 2>You make your decks even like the deck building stuff <v Speaker 2>is great because you can be like you can tell <v Speaker 2>the game like, look, I I want to make this <v Speaker 2>deck because I have a jolty on uh and I'm <v Speaker 2>excited about that. So you put the jolty on in there, <v Speaker 2>then you push auto build, then it just does the <v Speaker 2>rest of it for you. So that's great because I'm like, <v Speaker 2>you know, I don't I don't know what else to <v Speaker 2>put in there, and it does that and you'll have <v Speaker 2>a pretty good deck. The game's also very good. I <v Speaker 2>can't tell if I'm actually Oh, TAM's opening one right now. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>but we got we got some. We got fire snake. <v Speaker 1>Do you know what the problem in this game is. <v Speaker 1>It's got a bunch of Pokemon that I've never fucking <v Speaker 1>heard of, and they look oh so shit. <v Speaker 2>It's well past the one fifty one. <v Speaker 1>The hell is this sicily peede, another sly ped just <v Speaker 1>getting siicly seedy. <v Speaker 2>You gotta have a rare one the du. <v Speaker 3>So you get the sicily p don't worry, pin chow chin. <v Speaker 1>That's it. <v Speaker 2>That's it, nothing crazy. <v Speaker 1>I just want a gang. That's all I want. Once <v Speaker 1>I get a gang, I'm not playing this game again. <v Speaker 2>I can't tell them I'm actually lucky if the game's <v Speaker 2>just very good to make me feel lucky. Because I <v Speaker 2>got a couple of the cars. When you get them, <v Speaker 2>a whole animation plays out. And I got the Pikachu <v Speaker 2>animated one, and I got the charge Art animated one. <v Speaker 2>I got the gold Crowned Full Art mewtwo, which is <v Speaker 2>Sean says is one of the rarest ones. And uh, <v Speaker 2>this morning, I got another one of those somehow, I. <v Speaker 1>Wow, I would like to play this with more of <v Speaker 1>a community. So if you're out there and you're playing, <v Speaker 1>please adam me. My ad is one five six, six, <v Speaker 1>eight eight nine zero two three seven four seven three <v Speaker 1>four six. I hope that. <v Speaker 2>I hope that a number one. <v Speaker 1>Everyone as stupid as it sounded, and I felt fucking <v Speaker 1>grow up, all of. <v Speaker 2>You minus eight six five three o nine. Uh. I <v Speaker 2>want to add me, but I have not spent any <v Speaker 2>actual money. I haven't felt pressure to. I did do <v Speaker 2>that thing where you get the free trial of the <v Speaker 2>Premium Pass, which gives you an extra car to day, <v Speaker 2>then you immediately cancel it so you don't get bills. <v Speaker 2>You get two weeks of that. But you know, as <v Speaker 2>you kind of complete missions and dailies and battles, you <v Speaker 2>get a lot of these hour glasses that speed up <v Speaker 2>the timer where you can open another pack. See. I <v Speaker 2>feel like I'm opening plenty of packs, and I already <v Speaker 2>have enough cards to make a deck for every kind <v Speaker 2>of energy type so that I'm good against all these <v Speaker 2>CPU battles that I'm doing. I get the way the <v Speaker 2>game sort of distills normal Pokemon cards from a sixty <v Speaker 2>deck thing with a lot more rules to twenty cards <v Speaker 2>in a deck, much faster paced, maybe a bit simplified, <v Speaker 2>and the way that just feels very good. I really <v Speaker 2>like playing the game. It's I was killing a lot <v Speaker 2>of time at the airport, flying home things like that. <v Speaker 2>It's been fantastic. <v Speaker 1>I do like the one to pick system, which is cool. <v Speaker 2>Yes, that's like, that's a good reason to have friends <v Speaker 2>because the wonder One thing is. Yeah, the wonder Pick <v Speaker 2>thing is, it's another kind of recharge time or thing. <v Speaker 2>But you can look at a friend's pack that they opened. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>then you can sort of randomly pick one of those <v Speaker 2>cards and you could see if they got like a <v Speaker 2>really good card, and it might cost more of the <v Speaker 2>wonder pick currency to have a chance at one of those, <v Speaker 2>but you could get like rare cards just through that <v Speaker 2>system too. <v Speaker 1>I tried to get a Hornter out of a some <v Speaker 1>random wonder pick and got a Cocuona instead, which is <v Speaker 1>the worst outcome. <v Speaker 3>So good did you because you got the did you <v Speaker 3>not thank the person? Because you can thank people because <v Speaker 3>it gives me a I wouldn't agree. <v Speaker 1>I noticed that Mitch called it pokemon. Is that sort <v Speaker 1>of thing people? <v Speaker 2>Pokemon Pokemon, Pokemon. <v Speaker 1>Don't say Pokemon. <v Speaker 2>Don't say Pokemon's do. <v Speaker 1>People get still get upset if you say. <v Speaker 3>Pokemon, people get upset? Me what okay? Can we just <v Speaker 3>can you just say the right way. <v Speaker 2>To say it for me? Please? Pokemon Pokemon? Yeah, I <v Speaker 2>feel like that. <v Speaker 3>But in the song they go Pokemon got it's too. <v Speaker 1>I think I think that's because they needed to sound <v Speaker 1>good more than right Pokemon. That was correct? <v Speaker 2>Yes, thanks, that's all. <v Speaker 3>I maybe I Medela affected the song. They don't even <v Speaker 3>when I hear it when I sing it in my head, <v Speaker 3>it does that. To Mike, we could I could easily <v Speaker 3>be wrong to although he plays in my band. <v Speaker 1>I don't think they say Pokemon in the song. I <v Speaker 1>think they say. <v Speaker 2>We both had that double jediside thing too. So yeah, <v Speaker 2>I'm sorry. <v Speaker 3>I really wish you wouldn't say it like that. <v Speaker 2>That's miss heard song lyric everybody. <v Speaker 3>That's all we h We heard them metallic, give me fuel, <v Speaker 3>give me fire, give me Double jen aside is not <v Speaker 3>double JS. <v Speaker 2>We had this conversation. <v Speaker 3>This is the first I'm hearing it. <v Speaker 2>In the room. I don't know no way I would <v Speaker 2>remember that. <v Speaker 3>We're not We're not alone and hearing that. Frankly, he <v Speaker 3>barely is saying give me that which I desire, Like <v Speaker 3>it's like. <v Speaker 2>But listen, no defense, I got guy or of an <v Speaker 2>iron maiding guy. But yeah, good, really enjoying that. It's <v Speaker 2>definitely a fun thing to check in on multiple times <v Speaker 2>a day and play some battles when there's some downtime. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I've been dipping in and out of it. It <v Speaker 1>is fun to just open a pack and then move on, like, <v Speaker 1>I don't intend to battle or anything like that. And <v Speaker 1>it seems like they're going to add a trading options. <v Speaker 2>There is a trading option, which is good since I <v Speaker 2>have that extra gold crown mewtwo, so yeah, eventually I <v Speaker 2>can hopefully trade that for something else. <v Speaker 4>Cool. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, Fortune Street, tell me about it. <v Speaker 2>I like Fortune. <v Speaker 1>This is the knockoff Mario. <v Speaker 2>It's monopoly, is what it is. It's monotono. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, it looks like because you Luigi and Mario and <v Speaker 4>all them on the cover, and so you think it's <v Speaker 4>a Mario party. I had never played it. Somehow, it <v Speaker 4>is pretty monopoly. I think I liked it too. We <v Speaker 4>were hearing as a chat wasn't loving it, but at <v Speaker 4>that point we were too far in, and we. <v Speaker 2>Were all like, well, we got to see this through. <v Speaker 2>We got a bankrupt every ye. Look, we were doing <v Speaker 2>a lot of wacky stuff for a long time. So <v Speaker 2>we finally just sat down and played a video game. <v Speaker 2>And look, we needed to. I needed to just sit <v Speaker 2>there and relax for a moment. But I I like Monopoly, <v Speaker 2>so yeah, I thought it was fun. I also won, <v Speaker 2>so that was nice. I guess we didn't turn stocks on. <v Speaker 2>I guess that's why. <v Speaker 3>I'm like, because I was like getting very excited about <v Speaker 3>like playing this game I'd always heard of, and we <v Speaker 3>kind of didn't play the game I'd always heard of. <v Speaker 3>We played this much more simplified version that doesn't really <v Speaker 3>have there's no real strategy to it. You just if <v Speaker 3>you land on the good spots, buy them. Really just <v Speaker 3>buy anything you land on, and if you land on <v Speaker 3>more stuff that you could buy than anyone else, then <v Speaker 3>you should you're gonna win. And that's fine. That could <v Speaker 3>still be fun. I don't really hold that against it, <v Speaker 3>but I'm like hearing all about, hey, there's these stock <v Speaker 3>elements where sure some people might buy this thing, but <v Speaker 3>then you can buy stocks in these properties, and the <v Speaker 3>more stocks that get bought and sold. That will increase <v Speaker 3>and decrease the price the price of other stocks in <v Speaker 3>that area, in that district. So there's a lot of <v Speaker 3>like financial strategies you can implement for that stuff. We <v Speaker 3>had nothing like that, so I was like, oh, I <v Speaker 3>really would like to play that sometime. But apparently that's <v Speaker 3>a three hour game or something like that. <v Speaker 2>In terms of like because like you wanted to have <v Speaker 2>your properties next to each other, sometimes things will go <v Speaker 2>on auction you to be kind of more impressive at <v Speaker 2>a certain point. You're right, I mean I would say <v Speaker 2>there's a basbad strategy as in a Mario party, which <v Speaker 2>is also ultimately. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, very random. Definitely, Yes, that's very fair. <v Speaker 2>By the way, Crow thirteen and chet says, if Jeff <v Speaker 2>played a walking stimulator, you guys should call it rubstep. <v Speaker 3>Well as like dubstep. <v Speaker 2>Yes, I think it's okay, incredible punt. It really ripped <v Speaker 2>from the headlines. Didn't like that. <v Speaker 3>More like dubstep was like a big thing like in <v Speaker 3>twenty twelve. <v Speaker 1>Right, Yeah, it's like not very timely, which I guess <v Speaker 1>is fine. Actually stuck as a child. <v Speaker 2>I'm sorry, Crow, I thought that was a home run. <v Speaker 2>I thought it was a home run crow. <v Speaker 1>So Fortune Street is fun. This is the. <v Speaker 2>It's a week okay, yeah. <v Speaker 3>For it might be like based on like something that <v Speaker 3>like predates the Wei. <v Speaker 2>I don't know characters too. <v Speaker 1>I believe it's a follow up to its Ducky Street, <v Speaker 1>which was a DS game. <v Speaker 2>That sounds right, yes, okay, it's got a bunch of <v Speaker 2>Winner characters in it. Yeah, but it has Dragon Quest characters, <v Speaker 2>which is fun because yeah. <v Speaker 4>Like. <v Speaker 1>Yeah was a Square X thing, so right, yeah, I <v Speaker 1>would like to do the you know, standard rules. <v Speaker 2>Is what it's called. I'd like to do that sometimes. <v Speaker 3>So we'll see, uh yeah. <v Speaker 1>And then we've got listed head jack Box Survey Scramble, <v Speaker 1>which is a jack Box game. I'm not sure I've <v Speaker 1>heard of either. <v Speaker 2>It came out like a month ago and I was like, <v Speaker 2>how no. <v Speaker 1>I'm not gonna the people in charge of jack Box <v Speaker 1>send me a thousand emails a day. <v Speaker 3>So yeah, Rich Gallup is he harasses me? <v Speaker 1>Absolutely. I just I'm like, I cannot look at any <v Speaker 1>more jack Box emails right now. <v Speaker 3>I've it's family feud. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, it's really but it's like smart. And then it's <v Speaker 4>got like it'll have like five hundred fucking things. So <v Speaker 4>there's like high low. So it'll be like, uh, I <v Speaker 4>don't know what's the category that we did with high low. <v Speaker 1>It was like best items on the dairy Queen menu. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, irrational fears, Yeah, irrational fears. So then it'll start <v Speaker 4>with like pick the ones at the top, and so <v Speaker 4>you're like, okay, so there's like flying, there's dentists or whatever, <v Speaker 4>and so you'll get points based on how close you <v Speaker 4>get at the top. But then it'll be like, oh, <v Speaker 4>pick the least like we got five hundred responses, pick <v Speaker 4>the ones that's like all the way down here. And <v Speaker 4>it's so fun just the it's very simple. It's just <v Speaker 4>a huge list and it'll like scroll through like here, <v Speaker 4>here's where yours is, Here's where yours is, and you <v Speaker 4>get points based on that, Like we really enjoyed that. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, I think it's like for the least, like pick <v Speaker 3>the ones that are least popular out of five hundred. <v Speaker 3>At a certain point you have to get like so <v Speaker 3>abstract because it's like if you think of something that <v Speaker 3>shouldn't be in a round fear that most people won't have, <v Speaker 3>that's probably going to be at like number seventy on <v Speaker 3>the list. You need to think of something that's so <v Speaker 3>weird and off the wall that it's like not actually <v Speaker 3>a fear at all, like success or love or something <v Speaker 3>like that. And even those were in like the top <v Speaker 3>two fifty or something, So it's like I kind of <v Speaker 3>wish for that they would like maybe make the list <v Speaker 3>shorter or something like that. Maybe just do the top <v Speaker 3>two hundred instead of the top five hundred. <v Speaker 2>If it wasn't Batman the hottest character or something. <v Speaker 1>Oh, that's just correct. That's just like fine, objectively. <v Speaker 3>Correct hottest of a fictional character. I think he was <v Speaker 3>number two. <v Speaker 2>Actually who was number one? We don't know. We never <v Speaker 2>found out number one. <v Speaker 3>I didn't tell us. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I can't remember miss it. If they did, yes, <v Speaker 2>it was. <v Speaker 1>What kind of replayability does this game have? Is it <v Speaker 1>like actively changing the rank? <v Speaker 2>You get a different prompt every time for like those <v Speaker 2>top one hundred things. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, and every time you play the game, your audience, <v Speaker 3>I think, while they're waiting is getting a chance to <v Speaker 3>like join the room, and they are getting asked all <v Speaker 3>of these prompts, so they are constantly filling out the survey, <v Speaker 3>so the surveys are getting updated at all times. Is <v Speaker 3>this there should get better over time. <v Speaker 1>Is this the thing where just one person needs to <v Speaker 1>own the game and then you can just like give <v Speaker 1>it to Yeah? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, the phones are okay. We also checked out the <v Speaker 2>Jackbox Naughty Pack or whatever that's after Jeff left. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>the game was called Faker, So it would be it <v Speaker 2>would like give everybody prompts, right, and it would be <v Speaker 2>like raise your hand if I don't know if Mitch <v Speaker 2>can I can I post the picture of your thing? Yeah? Exactly, <v Speaker 2>e raise your hand if you traveled outside the country <v Speaker 2>in the last five years, right, But one person is <v Speaker 2>going to get you're the Faker, so you just kind <v Speaker 2>of have to erase your hand or not not knowing <v Speaker 2>what it is. And then once you do, you kind <v Speaker 2>of everyone has to explain themselves kind of a thing. <v Speaker 2>So it's something you can get fine, right, Well, And <v Speaker 2>then the one was okay can I post this Mitch post? <v Speaker 5>Yeah? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, absolutely post you could post it. It's like it's <v Speaker 2>set like prompts and it was going to send different <v Speaker 2>prompts to some people and you didn't know till later. <v Speaker 2>So it asked most people, what is something that you <v Speaker 2>would something suck on? And it asked me, what is <v Speaker 2>something that would be in a baby bag? So I <v Speaker 2>wrote diapers? And then like it shows up like everybody's <v Speaker 2>answers like what's something that you would suck on? And <v Speaker 2>you know some people like popsicle or like yeah yeah, <v Speaker 2>and then like Mike MANAUGHTI diapers and that I'm supposed <v Speaker 2>to try to explain myself, but I think I knew <v Speaker 2>I was pretty cooked at that point. It's like, please elaborate, Mike. <v Speaker 2>It was like, no, it's me. I do not want <v Speaker 2>to try to defend that. <v Speaker 1>Do you have to defend it? <v Speaker 2>Then if you want to, like the points right, because <v Speaker 2>you're trying to make it like, oh, somebody else is <v Speaker 2>the faker. It's not me, of course, but yeah sometimes <v Speaker 2>you sometimes. <v Speaker 3>You're says Mike, is weirder because you said you would <v Speaker 3>suck on diapers? <v Speaker 1>Yeah? <v Speaker 2>Ok, and. <v Speaker 4>What would you We got one where it's like, what <v Speaker 4>is a strong female lead movie? And then what was <v Speaker 4>the faker prompt? <v Speaker 2>Oh? Gosh, yeah, the faker prompt was oh yeah, and <v Speaker 2>that was the So I got through that one, okay, <v Speaker 2>because it was the first round and my prompt was <v Speaker 2>a movie was a lot of bazoongas. Actually, no, I <v Speaker 2>still lost with that one. I said, Austin Powers, but <v Speaker 2>I was like, okay, maybe it wasn't me. I don't know. <v Speaker 2>You put Titanic, I think that, yeah, which fair enough. <v Speaker 2>I got kill Bill. I think, okay, there you go. <v Speaker 3>Movie in that list. There you go, well done. <v Speaker 1>It sounds like something I would like to check out. <v Speaker 2>It was fun. Yeah, I mean that chatbox stuff is <v Speaker 2>always good. And yeah that was a that was a <v Speaker 2>good time. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. What else do we have on this list? We've got? <v Speaker 1>Oh it's my ten. Yeah. So I think I mentioned <v Speaker 1>this before, but I got sent the rog l i X, <v Speaker 1>which I've spent a little more time with. <v Speaker 2>Do we all have that? Now I've been asked for one. <v Speaker 2>I'm all right, Yeah, this has been my metaphor. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's what I was about to say. I am <v Speaker 1>so glad that I have one of those now because <v Speaker 1>the battery life it's so much better. But I've been <v Speaker 1>having a really good time playing metaphor on that. So <v Speaker 1>I think we've said enough about metaphor. But very very impressed. <v Speaker 1>The hardware is a bit pricey, but it's it's also <v Speaker 1>like it feels like if it's the only one you have, <v Speaker 1>it's a pretty good investment for that. I've been checking <v Speaker 1>out everything on there these days and it's a really <v Speaker 1>good time. However, the thing I want to talk about <v Speaker 1>is another thing I got sent by Evercade. So Evercaid <v Speaker 1>have put out are putting out this thing called the Alpha, <v Speaker 1>which is basically a arcade machine with the slots for <v Speaker 1>Evercaid cartridges as. <v Speaker 2>Well like full size three quarners. <v Speaker 1>This is the thing. It's table top so or I've <v Speaker 1>never had an arcade machine in my life. I've always <v Speaker 1>wanted an arcade masie because I'm a huge flying game <v Speaker 1>fan and it's always been a dream of mine, and <v Speaker 1>no matter where I've been, is just unrealistic expensive wise, <v Speaker 1>expense wise and also space wise. I couldn't find a <v Speaker 1>full size even the arcade one up ones. I could <v Speaker 1>probably make that fit in here, but again very expensive <v Speaker 1>and it'll be tricking. These ones are a little bar <v Speaker 1>top tabletop machine that is so easy to just find <v Speaker 1>a place for in your home and get the thrill <v Speaker 1>of playing an arcade machine, which is ultimately what I want. <v Speaker 1>So I got sent the street Fighter the capcom one naturally, <v Speaker 1>and it is so cool so that the actual device <v Speaker 1>is very simple you get the screen and then the <v Speaker 1>arcade buttons and stick on there, and it's made to <v Speaker 1>look like the top half of it may look like <v Speaker 1>a shrunken down arcade stick. So you get like the <v Speaker 1>light up marquee. You get like the artwork on the <v Speaker 1>side the Marquie they send you. They sent me some <v Speaker 1>extra like images for that I can swap out, which <v Speaker 1>is cool. And then you have like really nice buttons <v Speaker 1>and stick. They haven't confirmed who is the manufacturer of <v Speaker 1>that stick or the buttons. It feels like sonwhat to me, <v Speaker 1>which is good, But that might be incorrect. I might <v Speaker 1>be like misidentifying that. <v Speaker 3>It's it's not the hardest thing in the world if <v Speaker 3>it's not too yeah yeah. <v Speaker 1>But ultimately, if it feels good when I play, it <v Speaker 1>doesn't feel like sticky or weird or anything like that. <v Speaker 1>But the street Fighter one has street Fighter two Championship <v Speaker 1>Edition on it. It's got street Fighter Alpha one and three, <v Speaker 1>Alpha two, Alpha three, You've got Alpha one as well, <v Speaker 1>Puzzle Fighter two Turbo and street Fighter two Turbo. So <v Speaker 1>it's got a bunch of street Fighters in there. And <v Speaker 1>it obviously it only for I immediately booted up three <v Speaker 1>far Out for three I was hoping, Oh great, I <v Speaker 1>can just like put this on my table and play <v Speaker 1>through World Tour Mode. Forgetting that World Tour Mode isn't <v Speaker 1>something that was in the original Arcade version, so you <v Speaker 1>are limited to like generally the Arcade experience. So like <v Speaker 1>you put in your hit start and it just starts <v Speaker 1>the kind of like one v one Arcade system and <v Speaker 1>you can hit a button to get extra credits and <v Speaker 1>et cetera, et cetera. But it's still very very authentic <v Speaker 1>and it it's really well made, is the thing that <v Speaker 1>I really like about it. For the price, Kid, it's <v Speaker 1>done good stuff. Yeah, ever, Kid has been doing some <v Speaker 1>really cool stuff. I haven't been playing super class attention <v Speaker 1>to I check out the stuff every now and then, <v Speaker 1>but this is the world. This is the first thing <v Speaker 1>I've been like, Oh this, This makes it feasible for <v Speaker 1>me to have one of these things. And I think <v Speaker 1>they're on like special pre order price now, but I <v Speaker 1>think they range between like two hundred and thirty to <v Speaker 1>like two hundred and fifty when they're not on discount, <v Speaker 1>which I I personally think is more reasonable for me <v Speaker 1>as someone who's willing to pay a little extra one <v Speaker 1>and have a arcade like machine in my in my space. <v Speaker 2>Well, we'll go ahead, Mike. Sorry, I'm interested because so <v Speaker 2>you got the street for one. The other one is <v Speaker 2>a Mega Man one. Yeah, with the those two kind <v Speaker 2>of like Mega Man Boss Rush games and then. <v Speaker 3>The cartridge slot, right, so it's like so you can <v Speaker 3>like the arcade one up where it's like if you <v Speaker 3>want to like get in there and put in a <v Speaker 3>retro pie, you can do that, but this is just like, no, <v Speaker 3>there a cartridge slot, and they every kid's got a <v Speaker 3>lot of partners. The Data East, Namco Atari collections. You <v Speaker 3>can just pop those in there and play. <v Speaker 1>And I believe that you can just connect a Bluetooth <v Speaker 1>controller in it as well to it, so you can <v Speaker 1>actually just play normal games on there if you want, <v Speaker 1>which is ideal given the library that Evocade already has <v Speaker 1>built up. You don't want to be playing you know, <v Speaker 1>Data East or a platformer for example, with a standard <v Speaker 1>you know, six button. Okay, you might want to controller, <v Speaker 1>but I know that Stephen on our team got sent <v Speaker 1>the Mega Man one and he's been putting it through <v Speaker 1>his paces as well, and he's connected. I believe it's <v Speaker 1>the eight bit dou dongle to it, and it's worked fine. <v Speaker 1>It's also it also functions and works on if you <v Speaker 1>use a like a portable power bank, so you don't <v Speaker 1>necessarily have to have it plugged into a mains like, <v Speaker 1>which is crazy. It gives it a complete like standalone <v Speaker 1>feel to it, and you can move it around as well. <v Speaker 1>I was sitting on my couch and had it on <v Speaker 1>my lap and it wasn't like super heavy, it wasn't <v Speaker 1>like crushing my leg. I was just like, did that. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>I'm in the I'm in the midst of like moving <v Speaker 1>my room around and like I'm going to set up <v Speaker 1>a new desk so I don't have it set up anywhere. <v Speaker 1>But like I took it out of the box, put <v Speaker 1>on my lap, played a bunch of it, put it <v Speaker 1>back in the box, put the box in the closet, <v Speaker 1>and it was really really cool. Like I had a <v Speaker 1>moment where I step backround was like I believe I <v Speaker 1>just did that. Like I've got I've got like all <v Speaker 1>my favorite three fighter games on this thing, and it's <v Speaker 1>just can tucked away, can be tucked away in a corner, <v Speaker 1>and I'm definitely gonna have it on display. But yeah, <v Speaker 1>it's really really impressive. And like I said, like you know, <v Speaker 1>Grub said as well, you can just plug in the cartridges, <v Speaker 1>and I think generally they work as well. I wouldn't <v Speaker 1>be surprised if people figure out how to like open <v Speaker 1>up the filmware and jail break them, because I know <v Speaker 1>that there is a community, having spoken Stephen, that has <v Speaker 1>been working on other Avocade products to give them a <v Speaker 1>little more freedom, and they have successfully done that, so <v Speaker 1>I think it's just a matter of time before they <v Speaker 1>do it. But yeah, there's there's a you. <v Speaker 3>Don't want to mess with that stuff. This is like <v Speaker 3>maybe the solution you have the more expandability. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, from what I can tell, there's a bunch of <v Speaker 1>other games available on one of these, Like it said, <v Speaker 1>there's it seems to be largely capcom but there's like <v Speaker 1>a Carrier air Wing, one Nights of the Round, Strider <v Speaker 1>Final Fight, that kind of stuff, and. <v Speaker 3>It comes with the three marquees like yours dated but <v Speaker 3>like one for Strider and yeah, like. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, great, I've got I have the The really smart <v Speaker 1>thing that they've done is have the cartridge slots available <v Speaker 1>in there, because I've gone from someone who has like <v Speaker 1>a passing curiosity and interest in evocaid stuff to now <v Speaker 1>looking I've been on their website to be like what <v Speaker 1>other cartridges can I get for this thing? And I <v Speaker 1>always like collection. <v Speaker 2>I'm looking at it right now. <v Speaker 1>I already they were kind enough to send me that. <v Speaker 1>But yeah, there's there's like a bunch of like this, <v Speaker 1>the Namco Museum collections on there. So like just getting <v Speaker 1>the Namco Museum collection, which has you know, pac Man <v Speaker 1>Dig Doug, It's got Galaxian, it's got you know, Mappy <v Speaker 1>Metal Marine, starluster zs and just plugging that in and <v Speaker 1>you've basically turned this thing into a broader arcade machine, <v Speaker 1>right And I feel like it could be a real, real, <v Speaker 1>like accessible and lower bar of entry point for people <v Speaker 1>who've always wanted one of these things but always felt <v Speaker 1>like the space or the price has been prohibitive to them. <v Speaker 2>I just I'm a Mega Man fan, really like the <v Speaker 2>idea of having that Mega Man one because it looks <v Speaker 2>nicely just having it kind of you know, sometimes running <v Speaker 2>the background on the Power Battle demo mode, just looking <v Speaker 2>really nice. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, matter for like a dedicated puzzle fighter machine. I <v Speaker 4>think I would love that. <v Speaker 3>Yep, it is one player, right, Like, there's only controls <v Speaker 3>for one person. I believe you connected the controller. <v Speaker 1>I think you can connect the control. I need to <v Speaker 1>double I bet that sounds right. <v Speaker 2>But it's like there's only one controller pards for two <v Speaker 2>player local. <v Speaker 3>Modill right right, Okay, it's one on the arcade machine <v Speaker 3>with the arcade the sandwell buttons and stuff like that. <v Speaker 1>Yes, yes, so I need to do I need to <v Speaker 1>check that kind of stuff as well. But for the <v Speaker 1>most part, like like I said, I went on their <v Speaker 1>website and I was like, oh, I'd buy if I <v Speaker 1>just bought the the Namco and the Atari collections. That's <v Speaker 1>a decent chunk of the arcade experience that you probably <v Speaker 1>want to have or have like dreamed of having in <v Speaker 1>your in your home for a really long time. So yeah, <v Speaker 1>and it's like I said, it's really well made. It <v Speaker 1>doesn't feel flimsy at all. It feels like it's got <v Speaker 1>some weight to it. It doesn't feel like it's going <v Speaker 1>to break. The only issue I had with it is <v Speaker 1>it comes the screen comes with a plastic film on it, <v Speaker 1>and it's like screwed in. So I ripped the plastic <v Speaker 1>film off and it. <v Speaker 2>This summer stuck under the screw. <v Speaker 7>The corners are stuck in the screens, which is really <v Speaker 7>but it's really really easier to just like put a <v Speaker 7>screw drive in there, turn it once to loosen it, <v Speaker 7>pull out the thing, and then turn it back and <v Speaker 7>you will Yeah it's fine. <v Speaker 1>But yeah, like there's there's a bunch of Now I'm <v Speaker 1>on the website constantly being like, I wonder if I <v Speaker 1>should buy the Cold Master's collection, if I should buy <v Speaker 1>the x y Z collection, And they're not like super <v Speaker 1>expensive as well, those those kind of cartridges, and if <v Speaker 1>if they are, they usually come you know, with a <v Speaker 1>bunch of games in there, so you know, spending a <v Speaker 1>crazy amount of money and money on it. It's like <v Speaker 1>thirty dollars or. <v Speaker 2>So like that. One of the marquis is Puzzle Fighter. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, looking at this good. Yeah, I just look at <v Speaker 1>Amazon and the advocate like cautures ranged between like twenty <v Speaker 1>and twenty five dollars pretext. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's relatively reasonable. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, but I yeah, I highly recommend it. If <v Speaker 1>if we if you want to vap, I could probably <v Speaker 1>go pull it out and like wave it around in <v Speaker 1>front of the camera if that's something that you want <v Speaker 1>me to do. You know what I'm saying. <v Speaker 2>You know that's what we do. <v Speaker 1>Know what I'm saying. <v Speaker 3>No, no, he said, he said we wanted to. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, there it is, alright. <v Speaker 4>I would say I played a bunch of Puzzle Fighter <v Speaker 4>this weekend against Turbo Sean noted fighting game expert. Well, <v Speaker 4>I'm just gonna say it's it's it's dark soccers, it's <v Speaker 4>three fighter, and I've never played fighting games against Sean, <v Speaker 4>and I went six and zer against him and puzzle <v Speaker 4>I will say I'm undefeated against Turbo Sean and all <v Speaker 4>things fighting games. <v Speaker 3>Now, didn't like there was a time where you were <v Speaker 3>playing puzzle Fighter every single day with your wife, like NonStop, <v Speaker 3>and you guys were getting very competitive, right. <v Speaker 2>Oh yes, yeah I'm not. <v Speaker 4>I'm not surprised now several different seasons of first to <v Speaker 4>one hundred wins and yeah, once we move though, now <v Speaker 4>it's not in the kitchen, it's not accessible, so it's <v Speaker 4>it's fallen off a little bit, but it's still a <v Speaker 4>perfect video game. <v Speaker 3>But you see, I just hear about my Now, you <v Speaker 3>guys got very serious into that, so I was afraid <v Speaker 3>to even challenge you with that. <v Speaker 1>I mean, as a fire is not fighting game if <v Speaker 1>I but I respect it, respect your skill level at this. <v Speaker 4>As someone who hasn't played fighting games against Turboshon, this <v Speaker 4>is the closest, so I will say that fighting adjacent, <v Speaker 4>I am undefeated against Turboshon. <v Speaker 7>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>So yeah. Final thoughts on that thing. I am very <v Speaker 1>surprised at how good it is and how much of <v Speaker 1>that arcade envy that I've had for a really long <v Speaker 1>time has been satisfied by having this thing. So I <v Speaker 1>highly recommend it. I think, as always do your research, <v Speaker 1>you might be the kind of person who wants to <v Speaker 1>see if there's more versatility that can be added to <v Speaker 1>a thing. I don't know, like with the you know, <v Speaker 1>Arcade one up stuff, you can do wild and wacky <v Speaker 1>things to it. This might be a little more locked <v Speaker 1>down for now, But as it is right now, the <v Speaker 1>only thing I w do if I had one of <v Speaker 1>those things is like try and put a street fire <v Speaker 1>on it, And I've got that right now, so I'm good. <v Speaker 1>But like if people can figure out like how to <v Speaker 1>chuck a raspberry pine they or something else and you're <v Speaker 1>like mal versus Capcom or whatever it may be, I'm <v Speaker 1>very very eager, but I recommend it it's great. It's <v Speaker 1>highly Yeah. Yeah, it's out there if you want it. Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Beyond that, I've been playing Dragon Age, decent game. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>that's it. That's it for me. So we're gonna take <v Speaker 1>a quick brickie break and then come back with the news. <v Speaker 1>If that's okay with everyone. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's good to me. <v Speaker 1>Welcome back. We have been rejuvenated, moisturized, steading on lanes, thriving. <v Speaker 1>Dan's got is that an empty Voodoo zero? <v Speaker 4>I normally can't have fun gimmick mountain dew flavors, but <v Speaker 4>we went to the gas station that's inside them all <v Speaker 4>of America and they have the Voodoo zero. <v Speaker 2>So I bought a shit a ton of it. <v Speaker 1>Nice. I have been dabbling in mountain do a little more. <v Speaker 1>I found the sugar Free Mountain Due and Coanza is <v Speaker 1>pretty good manzero. Yeah, great, Yeah, we're gonna begain. <v Speaker 2>With the news. <v Speaker 1>Over to one Jeffy Grub Grub for this. <v Speaker 2>Thank you very much. <v Speaker 3>Tam got the news and it's it's what you expected. <v Speaker 3>The Parole Ventura presidential ticket has come in. They are <v Speaker 3>the new leaders of the free world. Congratulations them. <v Speaker 2>Yep. <v Speaker 3>Beyond that, though, let's get into this what I have <v Speaker 3>written down here. Actually, Nintendo has lowered its Switch forecast <v Speaker 3>after sales declined thirty one percent overnight Nintendo reported its <v Speaker 3>financial earnings. We'll talk about switch to or the lack <v Speaker 3>thereof here in a second, but yeah, Switch is slowing <v Speaker 3>down and so they lowered their forecast. Nintendo has lowered <v Speaker 3>its Switched sales forecast by one million units down to <v Speaker 3>twelve point five million for the fiscal year due to <v Speaker 3>a thirty one percent year on your client in sales. <v Speaker 3>I think that was already reduced previously. I think at <v Speaker 3>one point they said fifteen million, then they said thirteen <v Speaker 3>point five million, and now twelve point five million. So, uh, <v Speaker 3>they're not expecting to sell as many switches and kind <v Speaker 3>of not a huge surprise, right, It was always going <v Speaker 3>to be hard to hit those numbers. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. The one thing it was almost where is why <v Speaker 2>were their numbers so high originally if they kind of <v Speaker 2>knew what the forecast was, unless there was some big <v Speaker 2>game delay, because you know, they've been releasing games this year, <v Speaker 2>but it's been a bunch of games that sell two <v Speaker 2>to three million copies, right, you know, as Echoes of <v Speaker 2>wis one thousand year door remake Luigi's Minchin to HD <v Speaker 2>or whatever. So it's been a lot of those you <v Speaker 2>don't have a Mario Wonder this year or Smash Brothers <v Speaker 2>or Tiers of the Kingdom or anything that's going to <v Speaker 2>be you know, like a ten million plus. The kind <v Speaker 2>of takeaway here though, is that, yeah, like things have <v Speaker 2>slowed down, like the argument like, oh, they don't even <v Speaker 2>really need a switch to. That's that's done. <v Speaker 3>That's done. <v Speaker 2>They clearly do need the switch to and it's we <v Speaker 2>all know it's coming anyway, so it's fine. But yeah, <v Speaker 2>it does continue to get like a little bit weirder, <v Speaker 2>the kind of further and further out that actually seems. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, it doesn't things like they seem like things are <v Speaker 3>going to turn around in the current quarter that we're <v Speaker 3>in right now. Mario Luigi Brothership is out this week. <v Speaker 2>Reviews came out. <v Speaker 3>I think they knew what that game was, which is <v Speaker 3>why it's sort of kind of sputtering out at the <v Speaker 3>end of the generation. Most reviews seem to think it's fine, <v Speaker 3>too good. There's some that really dislike it. So it's <v Speaker 3>kind of all up and down, and. <v Speaker 2>It's one of those things where it's like you know, <v Speaker 2>you see a game get like an eighty two, it's like, okay, <v Speaker 2>that's good. But that's when you sort of need to <v Speaker 2>read the reviews and see what some people's reservations are. <v Speaker 2>The thing that people say kind of negatively about the game, <v Speaker 2>where the things that sort of worried about so kind <v Speaker 2>of has like put me on guard a little bit <v Speaker 2>with Brothership. <v Speaker 3>Yep, exactly, So you know that game is not going <v Speaker 3>to be out there like fixing this for Nintendo, and <v Speaker 3>they don't have a lot of things that were even <v Speaker 3>like even if Metroit Prime for was coming out this holiday, <v Speaker 3>that was not going to fix it either, like that <v Speaker 3>Metroid Prime as a you know, metrotis a more limited <v Speaker 3>audience than zeld In Marios. So yeah, it was always <v Speaker 3>weird that they were expecting to sell fifteen million switch systems. Now, <v Speaker 3>they did mention that they were able to see some <v Speaker 3>improvement quarter compared to last quarter because they did bundle <v Speaker 3>in more games at a slightly cheaper price. So instead <v Speaker 3>of selling like the Mario Kart bundle for three hundred <v Speaker 3>and sixty dollars with the original switch, they are now <v Speaker 3>bundling in and selling it at three hundred dollars, so <v Speaker 3>you get the game technically for free or something like that. <v Speaker 3>They also released the Echoes of Wisdom Zelda switch Light <v Speaker 3>that helped as well, but clearly Switcheddelles coming to an end. <v Speaker 3>They are going to move on, So what about the <v Speaker 3>switch to And Nintendo's president says they have no change <v Speaker 3>to switch to announce plan, which, as we've mentioned a <v Speaker 3>bunch of times, they said that they would announce it <v Speaker 3>before the end of the fiscal year, which is March <v Speaker 3>thirty first of twenty twenty five, So that continues to <v Speaker 3>be the case. They're not changing that. And you know, <v Speaker 3>for a while there there were a lot of people <v Speaker 3>that were hot and heavy sand that would happened in October, <v Speaker 3>and some people were saying when it happened in September. <v Speaker 3>Before that, neither of those happened. We are now in November, <v Speaker 3>and I suppose we'll be after Mario and Luigi here <v Speaker 3>pretty soon, and then maybe that gives them a little <v Speaker 3>leeway to announce it before the end of this year <v Speaker 3>this calendar year. But at this point, why wouldn't they <v Speaker 3>just wait till next year? <v Speaker 2>Maybe unless they kind of throw it in at some <v Speaker 2>point in earlier December November, maybe a little bit weird, <v Speaker 2>especially since there's going to be a we presume on <v Speaker 2>like election news headlines for a matter of weeks for <v Speaker 2>a while, and we know Nintendo does care about that stuff. <v Speaker 2>It's why they thought. That's why Kid and Christa thought <v Speaker 2>that announced it was not ever going to happen. In <v Speaker 2>late October, a lot of people were saying that was <v Speaker 2>going to be the case. Yeah, you know, way back when, <v Speaker 2>I would have thought it would be insane that we <v Speaker 2>didn't get switched to a nestment before the end of <v Speaker 2>the year. And now, you know, I don't know if <v Speaker 2>I'm one hundred percent sure that's the case, but it's <v Speaker 2>a very distinct possibility at this point. <v Speaker 3>Nintendo also launched the music app, the Nintendo Music App. <v Speaker 3>It is out now, featuring decades of Nintendo soundtracks. Nintendo <v Speaker 3>launched it for iOS and Android. You need to be <v Speaker 3>a Nintendo Switch Online subscriber to access it. But it's <v Speaker 3>like this ad, you know, value add feature where you <v Speaker 3>can listen to like I think they have now like <v Speaker 3>twenty five twenty six soundtracks or something like that. <v Speaker 2>Added Donkey Kunk Country too, so. <v Speaker 3>Right, and before that they added Super Mario Brothers wonder, <v Speaker 3>so they are adding like an album a day on <v Speaker 3>average or something like that, or maybe. <v Speaker 2>Every other day. Slower than that, I think, but yeah, <v Speaker 2>a couple of week maybe I don't know, a couple <v Speaker 2>of week exactly. <v Speaker 3>So I think this app is well made, and it's <v Speaker 3>got cool features like being able to just click a <v Speaker 3>button and you can extend a song from its normal <v Speaker 3>playing time to fifteen thirty minutes or sixty minutes, so <v Speaker 3>you can just listen to some of these things on <v Speaker 3>a loop, and that's neat. There's a spoiler prevention features <v Speaker 3>so you don't see the screenshots that might spoil games. <v Speaker 2>For these songs. <v Speaker 3>A bit silly, but I mean again, kind of cool <v Speaker 3>technology whatever, And yet I don't know, I really don't <v Speaker 3>know who This app is super. <v Speaker 2>Fun, right, It's like the app is well made all <v Speaker 2>that stuff, but man, Nintendo can't just put their music <v Speaker 2>on Spotify like everybody else, right, Like even Disney does, right, <v Speaker 2>like everybody even all the other people freaking out about <v Speaker 2>their IP just puts music on Spotify. So yeah, it's <v Speaker 2>it's a little annoying. Again, the app is nice and <v Speaker 2>I like it, and it is fun to listen to <v Speaker 2>these songs. I can't get drip feed right now is <v Speaker 2>probably a bit severe, But if it's this Kaden seems <v Speaker 2>a little slow and there they have a lot more music. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, they have a lot of soundtracks that could add. <v Speaker 3>So I just fact that they started with like twenty two. <v Speaker 1>I just don't know what I'm I am like you guys, <v Speaker 1>like I love listening to Hindo music. It's in a <v Speaker 1>different app I'm not opening it, like it does not <v Speaker 1>exist exactly, Like I just don't even think about it. <v Speaker 1>I keep forgetting it's there because I've like caught a <v Speaker 1>such a habit of when I need to listen to music, <v Speaker 1>I hit one of two things. It's either Spotify or YouTube, <v Speaker 1>and adding a third one this late in the game <v Speaker 1>is like easy, Like what are you doing? Just put <v Speaker 1>it on. It doesn't feel like the intent is to <v Speaker 1>allow people to have access to music because it's a <v Speaker 1>joyous thing. The intent is to shut these kids up <v Speaker 1>while maintaining complete control over everything that they own, which <v Speaker 1>is like definitely, you might as well not have done it, <v Speaker 1>because like I'm gonna it's easier for me to go <v Speaker 1>to YouTube and type in metro Prime soundtrack than it <v Speaker 1>is for me to go to that app and find it. <v Speaker 1>And even though it's a good app on my my <v Speaker 1>muscle memory is tied to you know those two apps. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, and it's you know, Sambo Nice and Chat the <v Speaker 3>same background listening is a big selling point for me. <v Speaker 3>And like some like you need YouTube Premium, like if <v Speaker 3>that's how you will listen to a lot of these <v Speaker 3>songs to be able to listen to some songs in <v Speaker 3>the background, And a lot of people already have an <v Speaker 3>intend to switch online, So getting the app and listening <v Speaker 3>to these songs in the background while you're. <v Speaker 2>Doing other stuff. <v Speaker 3>I could see some reasons why some people are getting <v Speaker 3>some value out of this thing, but I tend to <v Speaker 3>agree with you that for me personally, in a week's time, <v Speaker 3>like right now it's a novel thing, I'm like kind <v Speaker 3>of engaging with it. I'm like occasionally remembering it's there, <v Speaker 3>But in a week's time, I will probably stop opening <v Speaker 3>it and then I will be shocked if I open <v Speaker 3>it again within the next year. <v Speaker 2>Weird year for Nintendo, Like my my favorite thing they <v Speaker 2>put out this year is maybe their alarm clock. <v Speaker 1>But I was just about to say why didn't they <v Speaker 1>put this up on the alarm clock. <v Speaker 2>Wake up to just music on shuffle? <v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, that is a way better, like that would <v Speaker 1>be like, oh that makes sense now as a bonus, <v Speaker 1>it's also on iOS ho whatever. But I don't think <v Speaker 1>that thing is capable enough to I mean, it does <v Speaker 1>play a little bit of music. <v Speaker 2>So I woke up to pickman nella. Yeah, it's fine. <v Speaker 2>Hell yeah, here's a question for you all. When's the <v Speaker 2>last time Sega had a better year than Nintendo? <v Speaker 3>Twenty four? <v Speaker 2>Oh kind of wild, is it? <v Speaker 3>Yep, that's that is wild. That's a good point. And now, <v Speaker 3>I mean I don't think Nintendo's having like some dire year, <v Speaker 3>but it's just ya, yeah, I mean. <v Speaker 2>In terms of who's making more money, they tend to of <v Speaker 2>course still making more money in Sega, but just in <v Speaker 2>terms of, like I don't know, kind of quality and <v Speaker 2>interesting releases, I think Sega has actually done better than <v Speaker 2>Nintendo this year what they had. Sega has done Persona <v Speaker 2>three Reload, Dragon Infinite Well Tasio like a Dragon Infinite Wealth, <v Speaker 2>the fun Monkey Ball Games. It's actually very good, sonlad. <v Speaker 2>I think there was Unicorn, Overlord, s M T five, <v Speaker 2>s T five whatever with the subt. <v Speaker 3>Vengeance. <v Speaker 1>Yes, and then some people like Sonic Shadow. <v Speaker 2>I guess yeah, so was good. I like it a lot, <v Speaker 2>so yeah, great year for Sega. <v Speaker 3>Supposed to be my alarm clock. Yeah yeah, and then <v Speaker 3>they can really take over the world. Pokemon TCG Pocket <v Speaker 3>is currently earning three times more per day than Pokemon Go. <v Speaker 3>According to some estimates. Pokemon TCG Pocket newly released. It's <v Speaker 3>it's out now, It's had a strong launch. In its <v Speaker 3>first four day, it apparently earned an estimated twelve point <v Speaker 3>one million dollars, which puts it on pace to be <v Speaker 3>one of these billion dollars per year games that you know, <v Speaker 3>that's the there's very few games that are in that <v Speaker 3>tier on mobile. <v Speaker 2>Pokemon Go was once one of those. <v Speaker 3>Games, still massively successful, is like a top ten game <v Speaker 3>on mobile Pokemon Go. So this doing three times the <v Speaker 3>amount of money that that game's doing right now shows <v Speaker 3>how strong this is. And I mean like over the <v Speaker 3>weekend you were playing it, and multiple times I think <v Speaker 3>you were just kind of even muttering to yourself like <v Speaker 3>this game is gonna make a million, like just millions <v Speaker 3>and millions of dollars. <v Speaker 2>Because I mean, it's so pok The great thing about <v Speaker 2>Pokemon for this kind of stuff is that so easy <v Speaker 2>to just add new content to it. I mean, it's <v Speaker 2>already easy to do that with Pokemon as a concept, <v Speaker 2>and then it's easy to do it with card games <v Speaker 2>as a concept because you just have you know, expansions <v Speaker 2>as the business model. It always works. And doing expansions <v Speaker 2>with Pokemon stuff is easy because there's just so many Pokemon. <v Speaker 2>It's so many variants of the Pokemon you can do <v Speaker 2>an They already did their first event, right, you know, <v Speaker 2>do some CPU battles and unlocked on lapris Ex, and <v Speaker 2>I'm like, I gotta get that lapros ex for some reasons, <v Speaker 2>the only way my brain will be happy. Yeah, it's <v Speaker 2>Claire is gonna do well. It's doing very well. Finally <v Speaker 2>a windfall for Pokemon, right, Mitch, So it's going their way. <v Speaker 1>Mitch, you said Pokemon wrong five times. <v Speaker 2>Sorry, it's just look clock everybody, I'm here, I have <v Speaker 2>this mustache. I'm gonna say Pokemon classic behavior. <v Speaker 3>The official PlayStation five Pro specifications have been released. The <v Speaker 3>specs include a single chip custom processor with an X <v Speaker 3>eighty four sixty four, a md rizin Zen two CPU, <v Speaker 3>and a GPU is sixteen point seven Tara flops. You know, <v Speaker 3>a lot of bullshitting here, like a lot of numbers, <v Speaker 3>you know, sixteen gigabytes of g d DDR six memory, <v Speaker 3>things like that. <v Speaker 2>I'll do the quick version of this. <v Speaker 3>These specifications are are okay, but it's like surprising how <v Speaker 3>good these games are looking as you like check out <v Speaker 3>like some stuff from Digital Foundry in other places that <v Speaker 3>have like done early looks at some of these games <v Speaker 3>based on the fact that this is not like some <v Speaker 3>super huge jump over the base PS five and it <v Speaker 3>makes it sound like, yeah, that pisser Tech the PSSR <v Speaker 3>really is doing a lot of the heavy lifting and <v Speaker 3>it's making a huge difference. It kind of seems like <v Speaker 3>the magic, you know, the secret sauce to the whole thing. <v Speaker 2>So yeah, it also. <v Speaker 3>Makes it sound like maybe they were able to get <v Speaker 3>away with not putting a lot of investment into new <v Speaker 3>hardware for this thing, so they're probably gonna make a <v Speaker 3>pretty penny on this PS five Pro hardware. PlayStation CEO <v Speaker 3>said that the PS five Pro was a five year project. <v Speaker 3>Development started before the PS five launch basically goes like this. <v Speaker 3>Ps F five launched in November twenty twenty In the <v Speaker 3>year leading up to that, the hardware had been finalized, <v Speaker 3>so they already begun work research and developing a new <v Speaker 3>PS five PS five that would turn into the PS <v Speaker 3>five Pro. Another four years past after the release of <v Speaker 3>the PS five, where they are now here and they're <v Speaker 3>launching the PS five Pro and the like that, this <v Speaker 3>is normal for us. We're gonna keep doing this this <v Speaker 3>cadence basically, or something near this cadence, which to me <v Speaker 3>suggests that we get like a PS six maybe in <v Speaker 3>about four years from now. That would put it at <v Speaker 3>twenty twenty eight. That sounds right to me. Does that <v Speaker 3>sound right to you guys? <v Speaker 2>Maybe a little maybe little late, like maybe it's three <v Speaker 2>years instead between this and that instead of the four, <v Speaker 2>but yeah, generally right. Yeah. <v Speaker 1>I think they like the overlap time nowadays, so I <v Speaker 1>think there will be a period where three years sounds <v Speaker 1>right because then they can like make that transition seem <v Speaker 1>a little more noticeable, if you know what I mean. <v Speaker 3>Read robust. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, and then having that PlayStation five PlayStation six kind <v Speaker 1>of overlap helps them in a lot messaging as well. <v Speaker 3>You guys, feel like we are at a point now <v Speaker 3>where the PS five and Xbox Series X in US <v Speaker 3>generation feels like it's really found its footing there. You <v Speaker 3>guys still feel a little shaky about it, like, whoa, <v Speaker 3>where are the games? <v Speaker 1>I don't know. <v Speaker 2>I I me too. <v Speaker 1>I don't think it has yet. It feels very like <v Speaker 1>stop and start for both. I mean like Xbox has <v Speaker 1>been on stop for a really long time, and if <v Speaker 1>you really like remove the remakes and re releases from <v Speaker 1>the PlayStation catalog, it's not that much like there's not <v Speaker 1>much going on, and and that that feels makes it <v Speaker 1>feel like this it hasn't really reached that potential. What's <v Speaker 1>the stuff? Like, I still I think that Demon Souls <v Speaker 1>is still the best looking game on that console for. <v Speaker 4>Me, Like Horizon as much as an Horizon guy, that Horizon. <v Speaker 1>Looks good, and like, I guess there's a Ratchet looks <v Speaker 1>nice in certain ways, but like, I don't know, there's <v Speaker 1>nothing has blown me away since Demon Souls. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's like you usually do get like after four <v Speaker 2>years in it's like, yeah, we're really firing on all <v Speaker 2>cylinders now, and yeah, somehow it feels slower than ever <v Speaker 2>in a lot of ways these consoles. Maybe that's going <v Speaker 2>to pick up next year, and you know Xbox does <v Speaker 2>have Indiana Jones and then avowed pretty shortly after that. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>coming up soon here, and they could you know, keep <v Speaker 2>the momentum going perhaps with Perfect Dark and Fable next year, <v Speaker 2>although Perfect Dark just kind of creative director changed, so <v Speaker 2>I'm not sure how far that game is out. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>it's been. It's been a weird generation for first party <v Speaker 2>stuff anyways. <v Speaker 3>Speaking of that, PlayStation's Wolverine director has taken over Xboxes <v Speaker 3>Perfect Dark. Brian Horton, former creative director of PlayStation's Wolverine game, <v Speaker 3>has joined Xboxes the initiative to lead the Perfect Dark reboot. <v Speaker 3>Wolverine's leadership has shifted, with creator creative director Marcus Smith <v Speaker 3>and game director Mike Daly now at the helm. Horton's <v Speaker 3>departure from Insomniac is attributed to creative decisions regarding Wolverine's game, <v Speaker 3>The Wolverine Game Excuse Me. Horton's experience includes working on <v Speaker 3>Marvel Spider Man, Miles Morales, and Rise of the Tomb Raider. <v Speaker 2>That's the really good one, right right of the tomb Raider, <v Speaker 2>the good one, yes, the second one, and that Trope one. <v Speaker 3>That one's really good Perfect Dark development has faced challenges, <v Speaker 3>including senior departures at the Xbox Studio, but last we <v Speaker 3>heard development was going pretty well on that game. Well, <v Speaker 3>what's your guys expectations for both Perfect Dark and Wolverine. <v Speaker 2>Uh? <v Speaker 1>For Wolverine, I think is pretty high. I mean like <v Speaker 1>Insomniac has been hitting out of the park lately. <v Speaker 2>Oh my god again go sharp. <v Speaker 1>Also, I think my game has buked. It does not. <v Speaker 1>Every time I use one of those things that lets <v Speaker 1>me open up pack early, it's not taking it away <v Speaker 1>from me. <v Speaker 3>Well, you better do do what you can right now. <v Speaker 1>I'm I am, I am NonStop. I've had twelve six <v Speaker 1>get it open. <v Speaker 2>Because that's so on the bottom. It shows you how <v Speaker 2>many you need to do it. You're a total amount <v Speaker 2>of those is on the top. Okay, then that's why, <v Speaker 2>that's why, that's why. Yeah, don't worry. Don't worry the title. <v Speaker 2>You don't have to go after him. It's fine, it's <v Speaker 2>working as normal. <v Speaker 1>It's working fine, don't worry about it. I mean, I'm <v Speaker 1>not going to play again now because I've got gang <v Speaker 1>Goo cares. But yeah, I think Wolverine, No, it's still <v Speaker 1>at twelve in the top right, as well. <v Speaker 2>I don't know. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I think the Wolverine I think there's a lot <v Speaker 1>riding on it now. I feel like there's probably in <v Speaker 1>some next very talented developer. But I also kind of <v Speaker 1>feel like they're in a space now where they need <v Speaker 1>to start diversifying the type of games they make, Otherwise <v Speaker 1>they could end up in the same position that they <v Speaker 1>were when they were making you know, Ratchet or whatever <v Speaker 1>it may be, where you don't want them just being <v Speaker 1>stuck on Spider Man forever. I hope that. I hope <v Speaker 1>that Wolverine is a different enough game from Spider Man. <v Speaker 1>Isn't that same style of like combat, if you know <v Speaker 1>what I mean? And doesn't it doesn't feel like reskinned <v Speaker 1>Spider Man in many ways. I hope it's an opportunity. <v Speaker 1>I hope they use it as an opportunity to be like, <v Speaker 1>we can make a completely different type of game and <v Speaker 1>it still rocks. And it seems like that's what they're doing. <v Speaker 1>But I have high expectations. I have no reason not <v Speaker 1>to doubt. I have no reason to doubt that they would, <v Speaker 1>you know, screw it up. I think I think it <v Speaker 1>will be good, yep, right, perfect dark for me. <v Speaker 4>I kind of feel like, as much as I love <v Speaker 4>that sixty four to one, it's not like this is <v Speaker 4>some long running series that's got a bunch of great entries. <v Speaker 4>It's like, oh, we got to go back to form <v Speaker 4>or no, they had one good game. I guess there <v Speaker 4>was a Game Boy one. I don't know if that <v Speaker 4>was good, and then zero was not that good. So like, <v Speaker 4>I don't know, I would love for it to be good. <v Speaker 4>That trailer they showed recently was like, Okay, that actually <v Speaker 4>looks pretty cool, but I will just sit back until <v Speaker 4>I get to play it because I don't have expectations <v Speaker 4>for it. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. Yeah, I kind of higher hopes for Perfect Dark. Honestly, <v Speaker 2>I don't know. It's because it's just speaking me to <v Speaker 2>a bit more Wouverine. I'm sure that will be fun. <v Speaker 2>For some reason, I'm still just like, what isn't the <v Speaker 2>loop there? Exactly? Because because with Spider Man specifically, what's <v Speaker 2>so much fun about the game is traversal, and I <v Speaker 2>don't so easy to understand what Spider Man is is <v Speaker 2>a game. Yeah right, there's so many directions you can <v Speaker 2>take a Wolverine game and it's worse. You can just <v Speaker 2>kind of make it boring Hack and Slash and I'm <v Speaker 2>sure they're gonna have more juice in it though. <v Speaker 1>And the other Wolverine game Origins was awesome. <v Speaker 2>Pretty good pounds. I want to I want to play that. <v Speaker 2>And the Deadpool game. Oh, I forgot that happened. I <v Speaker 2>liked the Deadpool game was one of the better. There's <v Speaker 2>like a million Arkham Asylum knockoffs, right, Yeah, the Deuple <v Speaker 2>game was pretty good at that and it was, you know, funny. <v Speaker 2>It was very crass, of course, but. <v Speaker 3>It was wolverridg's combat was kind of Kham. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, that was the same thing that pushed the Y <v Speaker 2>button to counter things. That was good. Yeah. I enjoyed <v Speaker 2>both those. <v Speaker 3>Uh, all right, you guys remember NFT games, Well, ubisofts <v Speaker 3>got one a new one actually, uh and here's a <v Speaker 3>fun story. Ubisofs n F t RPG has reportedly been <v Speaker 3>plagued by a single player auto winning every game Ubi <v Speaker 3>safs NFT based RPG, Champions Tactics Grimoria Chronicles has encountered a. <v Speaker 2>Way say that name again, Say that name again. <v Speaker 3>Champions Tactics Colon Grimoria Chronicles incredible. <v Speaker 2>Oh Ki, you can continue now. It sounds like it was. <v Speaker 3>Made by AI already has encountered a game breaking exploit. <v Speaker 3>A user named Shaliary eleven or Paul Star one point <v Speaker 3>one has been automatically winning every online battle, causing frustration <v Speaker 3>among players. The player has reportedly played over fifty six <v Speaker 3>thousand matches yeah and always wins without the match even <v Speaker 3>taking place. The issues game unplayable for days, and players <v Speaker 3>have expressed their disappointment and frustration. While the team has <v Speaker 3>acknowledged the air, banned the player, and promised to fix <v Speaker 3>some players continue to report being matched with the exploitative account. <v Speaker 3>They're still listen to. <v Speaker 1>Him the hero NFTs deserve, right? <v Speaker 3>Is this all this is? I'm like, this is what <v Speaker 3>you get for going to play an NFT game. <v Speaker 1>I love this. I hope he becomes unstoppable, like I <v Speaker 1>hope a community forms around him where they like figure <v Speaker 1>out new ways to make sure he's always like the <v Speaker 1>guardian against n f t s, like wrecking them up. <v Speaker 3>But then he's so. <v Speaker 1>Community and then he's got enough money that he just <v Speaker 1>purchases Ubisoft and it is like, look at me, I'm <v Speaker 1>the captain now. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's just InCred of course, of course is doing <v Speaker 2>so well right now? Is the one having a weird <v Speaker 2>thing with NFT games, right, I. <v Speaker 1>Give that thing six months before they kick it off into. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, at this point, it is weird to still encounter <v Speaker 3>people who are like bag holders for this stuff, like <v Speaker 3>still like ride or die for n f T s, <v Speaker 3>Like I. <v Speaker 2>I saw some invested so much that they kind of <v Speaker 2>have no choice, Right. <v Speaker 3>That's definitely the same. Like there was like some like <v Speaker 3>Phase Clan guy talking about this, like they're gonna put <v Speaker 3>n f T marketplaces in GTA six and I'm like, oh, <v Speaker 3>you are dumb, and this is embarrassing. <v Speaker 1>Walks needs to do some stupid ship to make money. <v Speaker 1>They just put that game out and then call it. <v Speaker 2>The way they talked about NFT is like wouldn't Pokemon <v Speaker 2>like TCG pocket have been like, oh, such a great <v Speaker 2>applicase for that, and no, fuck that, of course you <v Speaker 2>don't do it and make a zillion dollars anyway, right, And. <v Speaker 3>It's like there could be a marketplace in GTA six <v Speaker 3>and they'll control it from top to bottom. Why would <v Speaker 3>they give up control rock Star to some decentralized platform? <v Speaker 3>Are you stupid? And the answer is, of course they are. <v Speaker 1>That's my favorite thing about NFT bros. They are literally <v Speaker 1>the most stupid people on this planet. They will say <v Speaker 1>the most They will say the most insane shit to <v Speaker 1>your face and then not realize what they're saying. <v Speaker 2>Stuff with no idea that they just did. It's it's <v Speaker 2>you remember that guy who like bought an nft of <v Speaker 2>a book and thought it gave him the film rights <v Speaker 2>to it. Yeah, that was the best. <v Speaker 3>There was a Google photo It's like jor Rowski's Dune <v Speaker 3>or something like that. There was like some some version <v Speaker 3>of Dune and there was a Google Photos like shared <v Speaker 3>thing of like all the stuff they thought they owned, <v Speaker 3>and I got in there. So occasionally I still get <v Speaker 3>updates from some of the guys that are like, like, <v Speaker 3>what are we going to do with this now? Like <v Speaker 3>they still don't know They're like still fighting World War <v Speaker 3>two on some islands somewhere. <v Speaker 2>It's it's awesome. <v Speaker 3>It rules striking New York Times tech workers ask players <v Speaker 3>to stop playing Wordle insolidarity. New York Times workers are <v Speaker 3>on strike, urging World Wordle and Connections players to stop <v Speaker 3>playing until the strike is resolved. Tech workers at the <v Speaker 3>media Company are in dispute regarding remote work just cause <v Speaker 3>protections and pay equity. The union claims management is more <v Speaker 3>concerned about election coverage than a fair deal. Excuse me, <v Speaker 3>be a fair deal for workers. New York Times spokesperson <v Speaker 3>states the tech field is among the highest paid individual <v Speaker 3>contributors in the company, and journalism is their top priority. <v Speaker 3>The hashtag break my streak emerged on social media in <v Speaker 3>support of the striking workers. So basically, you know, the <v Speaker 3>workers are just asking you to break your streak, stop <v Speaker 3>playing the games for a few days while they get <v Speaker 3>this sorted out with management. So I did did that myself. <v Speaker 3>You can make their own choices, but I would uh, <v Speaker 3>I would recommend towards that direction. Uh, all right, that <v Speaker 3>does it for the headlines. Uh, I think might hand <v Speaker 3>the show back over to you, Tam. <v Speaker 1>I think let me just have a quick look through <v Speaker 1>the news section of Select to see what's going on. Ye, <v Speaker 1>I think dropped and doesn't seem. <v Speaker 2>Imagine not a lot of people are gonna want to <v Speaker 2>release a lot of big news today. <v Speaker 1>Smash Ultimate has sold over thirty five million copies. Apparently <v Speaker 1>that's a lot. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean there's always updated sales numbers with Nintendo stuff. <v Speaker 3>Uh yeah, we'll kind of we'll talk like I'll get <v Speaker 3>in some more of those details on the game this morning, <v Speaker 3>so the next couple of days. That's that's that probably <v Speaker 3>puts that at number three, after Animal Crossing and Mario Kart. <v Speaker 3>Probably on the switch Smash Brothers. <v Speaker 2>I think so. Yeah, it's like that Odyssey and the Zeldas. <v Speaker 3>That are the wild Yeah out there, Pokemons, Yeah you <v Speaker 3>probably changed things. <v Speaker 1>The bloto account tweeted a picture of a silhouetted character <v Speaker 1>which looks like a clown, with the phrase who's that Pokemon? <v Speaker 1>So ah, yeah, let's take another quick bricky break and <v Speaker 1>then return to do emails. Sorry, we're gone for long there. <v Speaker 1>Apparently Mitch has diarrhea. But you know, let's see it. <v Speaker 1>We're gonna happen with very queen. <v Speaker 2>That'll do it for you. <v Speaker 1>That's it. If you want to email the show, you <v Speaker 1>can send the old letter over via the internet to <v Speaker 1>BombCast at giant bomb dot com. That is BombCast at <v Speaker 1>giant bomb dot com. Our first email comes from a <v Speaker 1>video game president. What a time for that person right now? <v Speaker 1>Must be tricky, yeah, it reads. In a surprising turn <v Speaker 1>of events, the electoral College has forgone the popular vote <v Speaker 1>and elected a video game character as president, Which character <v Speaker 1>would do the best job? Best? What she's from tonight? <v Speaker 1>Jeff from Quebec. <v Speaker 2>Safety Solids Solidus, Yeah, Solidus was president. He was president? <v Speaker 4>Is a doctor sued with two swords and an eyepatch. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I gotta go as SOLIDUS hates the Patriots, not <v Speaker 2>Stephen Armstrong. No, I'm a SOLIDUS guy. <v Speaker 1>Hmm. <v Speaker 2>That's a bad person though, right, Like they have evil intentions. <v Speaker 2>I know that they don't like the Patriots are also bad. <v Speaker 2>I don't think SOLIDUS saw this was pro child soldiers. <v Speaker 1>I don't pro I guess yeah. <v Speaker 2>And as a child soldier, I think, yeah, which recommend? <v Speaker 3>What about the president of nukes? <v Speaker 4>Oh yeah, that's right, the president of I don't know <v Speaker 4>if you saw Calo run down the entire history of <v Speaker 4>metal gear from memory on the stream, but yeah, she <v Speaker 4>told us all about the importance of the vice president <v Speaker 4>of nukes, and a lot of it just had to <v Speaker 4>do with Alaska. <v Speaker 2>Apparently. I think a Kayla has had metal here is <v Speaker 2>about control of Alaska. <v Speaker 1>I'm very glad that Kayla has become Giant Bum's number <v Speaker 1>one metal get understand that. <v Speaker 2>Absolutely, But yeah, but for Solids, I. <v Speaker 3>Don't know a joke answer. I'm gonna go with the <v Speaker 3>I think like Professor Layton, if he was president. <v Speaker 2>God, yeah, he wouldn't be like, man. <v Speaker 3>Okay, we're good. That's responsible, Like I feel good about <v Speaker 3>I could like just not think about who's president for <v Speaker 3>four years and that would be great. <v Speaker 2>That's such a good Okay, I just. <v Speaker 1>Want that It would be weird because you'd have like <v Speaker 1>a little boy hanging around with him constantly, and it would. <v Speaker 2>A little boy. So with Batman, Yeah, I guess. <v Speaker 5>So. <v Speaker 1>I'm just looking at a list of like video game <v Speaker 1>presidents to see who's on there, and number one is <v Speaker 1>President Michael Wilson from Metal Chaos, which I'm that's a <v Speaker 1>good call. Yeah yeah, what. <v Speaker 2>About from software game? What about Nino Kune two where <v Speaker 2>the president of the US gets kid to a fancy <v Speaker 2>world after a. <v Speaker 3>New turned into a gun. <v Speaker 2>I've never played this game. He doesn't turn into a gun. <v Speaker 2>He just he turned into a hot anime guy. I think, <v Speaker 2>Okay about the good answer, King of All Cosmos. <v Speaker 1>That's pretty good. Yeah, but now is Bill Clinton. <v Speaker 2>Must saxophone player? <v Speaker 3>Come on, Arsenio Hall's friend, come on. But I want <v Speaker 3>to think about the ramifications of King of All the cosmos? <v Speaker 3>Being president, what does that really look like? <v Speaker 1>Does he have time to focus on a shitty little <v Speaker 1>you know, America when he's the king of all cosmos? <v Speaker 4>Well, his his cabinet could be all of his little <v Speaker 4>like cousins and nephews, all the little guys that you rescue. <v Speaker 2>They all have different skills, they do. Yeah, some have mustaches. <v Speaker 2>It's great. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I think Professor is a great pick. <v Speaker 2>Honestly, that's the right answer. Yeah, what about Chop Chop <v Speaker 2>Man her onion? <v Speaker 1>That would be I think the White House would stink <v Speaker 1>a bit. <v Speaker 2>But sure, sure. <v Speaker 4>I did watch Kayla play a bunch of per Rappa <v Speaker 4>two the other day, and I forgot that Perappa two existed. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's right. That is a thing. <v Speaker 4>It's about a place called beard Noodles. I forgot that <v Speaker 4>was the main story thing going on there, Beard Noodles. Yeah, <v Speaker 4>it's like a guy. It's like a ghosts like a <v Speaker 4>forest ghost with a big beard that runs a fast <v Speaker 4>food restaurant called beard Noodles. All right, this sounds bad, Yeah, <v Speaker 4>not as good as the first one. <v Speaker 1>So we're gonna go with Professor Layton. <v Speaker 3>Four more years. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. Next email is called email infidelity. I'm glad to report. <v Speaker 1>This comes from Jared, who says I'm glad to report <v Speaker 1>I've not multiplexed my emails. These are written. You spoke <v Speaker 1>for the giant bomb cost. <v Speaker 2>We appreciate, Jared. <v Speaker 1>Have you ever worked a job just adjacent to your <v Speaker 1>dream job? I work with Matt the gathering cards, and <v Speaker 1>I don't hate my work by any means, but my <v Speaker 1>preferred TCG is actually y gie Oh. I can't help <v Speaker 1>but think how much I'd love my work if I <v Speaker 1>was handling Yu gi oh all day instead. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I'm actually a kind of funny fan. <v Speaker 4>So I worked at McDonald's when my favorite was Taco Bell. <v Speaker 4>But like, I also deeply loved McDonald's, So it's not <v Speaker 4>like that was a step down. <v Speaker 2>You know. It's a one A, one B situation. <v Speaker 3>Nope, got it weird, it's weird. I just got the <v Speaker 3>job I wanted. <v Speaker 1>So yeah, I worked at the UK equivalent of GameStop, <v Speaker 1>which was game when I just wanted to be anywhere <v Speaker 1>near the industry. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>I was just like, I actually want to feel like <v Speaker 1>my life is like more game focused, and let me <v Speaker 1>tell you that was a mistake. Next question, Jared has <v Speaker 1>done three questions. <v Speaker 2>Here, this Jared's movie here. <v Speaker 1>Well, i'll of respect an appreciation for not multiplexing the emails. <v Speaker 1>I'm going to read all three of them. Great, what's <v Speaker 1>your ideal pants material? I love Jam's passion for denim. <v Speaker 1>I personally find it too scratchy and tend to prefer <v Speaker 1>elastic synthetic fabrics. So, team, what is your favorite material <v Speaker 1>for pants? <v Speaker 2>Joggers? Yeah? What is? <v Speaker 3>Are those the joggers dan that you're wearing are like <v Speaker 3>the ones that's not. <v Speaker 2>The Gi bomb ones, but they're just are think the. <v Speaker 3>Ones that we got from like Amazon or whatever when <v Speaker 3>we were first talking about joggers way back like a <v Speaker 3>couple of years ago. <v Speaker 2>Nah, I think got leveled up and got some better thing. <v Speaker 3>I don't know any jogger material is is like ideal <v Speaker 3>for me? Like that like super thin, uh sweatpants material, <v Speaker 3>but that has like somehow more structure to it. <v Speaker 1>So uh, I don't know. If you've been to Uniclo anytime. <v Speaker 2>They have a Disney World I have been the large. <v Speaker 1>They have pants that you will see them on the <v Speaker 1>shelf and you go, those are genes and then you'll <v Speaker 1>pick them up and be like, these are joggers what's happening. <v Speaker 6>Hell. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, but they have a line of Yeah, they have <v Speaker 1>a line of material that is basically jogging bottoms. Stretchy, <v Speaker 1>have that same kind of like breathe ability and like comfortableness, <v Speaker 1>comfortability level. But you can wear them into an office <v Speaker 1>and no one would be able to tell you any different. <v Speaker 2>Yes, those are incredible. <v Speaker 4>I looked that up years ago because I Dean Ambrose <v Speaker 4>was wrestling in jeans and I was like, there's got <v Speaker 4>to be like stretchy jeans, and so I looked it <v Speaker 4>up and it's lee extreme motion jeans are like all <v Speaker 4>I want to wear jeans. Wise, they are stretchy as hell, <v Speaker 4>but they look just straight up like jeans. Yeah, I <v Speaker 4>think I am most comfortable when I'm wearing gym shorts. <v Speaker 1>Sure's funnily enough, since since moving to America, I have <v Speaker 1>become primarily a shorts person, But I think that's because <v Speaker 1>I've tried to become a little more active as well, <v Speaker 1>So like it's easier for me to like be more <v Speaker 1>active wearing jeans, whereas if I was wearing like jogging bombs, <v Speaker 1>which I do wear, I'd have to take those off, <v Speaker 1>and it's just easier for me to squar shoulders. So yeah, uh, <v Speaker 1>did you say what your one is? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I'm with Daniel. That's fine. <v Speaker 1>Finally, final question from Jared. Nobody asked you for a <v Speaker 1>second time. What are some foods you enjoy more for <v Speaker 1>their texture than anything else. It doesn't have to be <v Speaker 1>a favorite for me, it's gotta be candy corn. I <v Speaker 1>love the unique, waxy, chalky feeling potato pop rocks. Everyone said, <v Speaker 1>what potato poppers. I don't know what that means. <v Speaker 3>I heard potato poppers. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, little cages of potato chip things. I think they're <v Speaker 4>the potatoes for their crimes. <v Speaker 2>Joe's. It's just like, yeah, it's just like. <v Speaker 1>It's it's potato. <v Speaker 2>Uh No, there's nothing inside. It's just air. <v Speaker 4>So you can just put it down and you just <v Speaker 4>press it between your tongue and the rip of your <v Speaker 4>mouth and it just like all collapses and it feels. Uh. <v Speaker 2>Can I call the thing that pop rocks do a texture? No, <v Speaker 2>that's a reaction. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's a reaction. <v Speaker 3>I mean it's a it's a feeling in my mouth. <v Speaker 3>Clip that. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, we get plenty of room there, listen. <v Speaker 3>I think I think it's fair and a fair answer <v Speaker 3>for this for me, I'm like, I don't know if <v Speaker 3>I like the texture. <v Speaker 2>I think I just like it as a food. <v Speaker 3>I'm not sure. <v Speaker 2>I don't know those little sheets of seaweed. <v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, we both hate you know, what's an opposite direction. <v Speaker 1>I think that I really disliked that. It's just unfathomably <v Speaker 1>popular for me. Anything macha. <v Speaker 2>I just don't understand. <v Speaker 1>I feel like you. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I got a Macha ice cream cone in little <v Speaker 2>Tokyo when I was in l A, and I was <v Speaker 2>a really excited about and they put all the macha <v Speaker 2>dust on it. Yeah, it was kind of actually. <v Speaker 1>Disgusting into it flavor it kind of. <v Speaker 2>Did it tastes like dirt. You're right, they had the <v Speaker 2>texture of dirt too. I didn't get it. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I think is the one like it's a variety <v Speaker 1>of textures, right, because it's. <v Speaker 4>Well, I take out the jalapenos, but so I just <v Speaker 4>had the breading. But that's good texture too. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, we're too weird. He doesn't like beads and burutos. <v Speaker 1>Who said that? <v Speaker 2>I mean that. <v Speaker 1>Yourself? Why did you do that? <v Speaker 2>Because Dad's weirder? Damn it. <v Speaker 1>He didn't say anything, so he just said he takes. <v Speaker 2>Hallopenno paupers without the halopenios. What why man? <v Speaker 1>I took what you said. <v Speaker 2>I don't eat a lot of vegetables and so but <v Speaker 2>I like the breading and I like. <v Speaker 3>It's about vegetables or I don't know, barely count as <v Speaker 3>a vegetable. <v Speaker 4>I don't want to get the essence of valipenio's. I <v Speaker 4>don't like eat shoot hilapenos that often, but yeah, I <v Speaker 4>hit them up my dad's place, and I like, open <v Speaker 4>everyone up. And I took the valapino out and threw <v Speaker 4>it in the trash and just ate the breading and <v Speaker 4>dipped it in the ranch. <v Speaker 2>And he thought I was crazy because they're vegetables. I <v Speaker 2>think I look healthy. <v Speaker 1>What you're saying. But I need clarification on how you <v Speaker 1>consume the essence of jalapenos. <v Speaker 4>Because like every time I went to Subway, you get <v Speaker 4>like a hold cut combo and if you want jilipenios, <v Speaker 4>and I always say yes, and then I would take <v Speaker 4>the top bun off, swipe all the jalapenos up, but <v Speaker 4>the essence remain I do. And I actually like if <v Speaker 4>I eat, like, if there's still what I bite into, <v Speaker 4>it's fine, is it? <v Speaker 1>The crunchiness or is it. <v Speaker 2>Because I like them? I don't know why I take <v Speaker 2>them off at the favor, but get them out of that, <v Speaker 2>out of this way. <v Speaker 4>I've only had jalapenos on subway stuff where they're cut up. <v Speaker 4>I think the popper breaks me out because they're a whole, <v Speaker 4>and I've never been into a noble klopeno. <v Speaker 3>I don't think, what are you talking about? <v Speaker 2>Oh? Really, there the long voice. <v Speaker 1>It's breading cheese and then a small amount of. <v Speaker 4>Oh see, I assume because like I do the same <v Speaker 4>thing with onion rings as I always take the onion <v Speaker 4>out and I just eat the ring breading. <v Speaker 2>So I guess I just do it out of habit. <v Speaker 3>What you do it out of habit? <v Speaker 2>Ring? <v Speaker 3>That's this is what makes you weirder than mic is <v Speaker 3>you don't think about the things bread. <v Speaker 2>He's a bread and guy, and I always have been. <v Speaker 4>We know that, but you just like, look, every time <v Speaker 4>there's a new Popeye sandwich, I get the golden barbecue one, <v Speaker 4>I get the spicy one, I get all that. If <v Speaker 4>they made a breading only Popeye sandwich, I'd be the <v Speaker 4>first in line. <v Speaker 1>This I again, Dan, I respect it, but like the <v Speaker 1>process feels so stressful and like, I imagine one day <v Speaker 1>you're gonna comement ont be like I like fries. I <v Speaker 1>just take the potato out of it and then eat <v Speaker 1>the outside of it. <v Speaker 2>Well, I think breading is like. <v Speaker 4>The outer I think it's the skin puffs up when <v Speaker 4>you bake it and then now, m it's not skin, <v Speaker 4>that's not It can't because I made I made uh <v Speaker 4>toko cha Bania style chicken curry maybe like ten years <v Speaker 4>ago when I got back from Japan, and it's like. <v Speaker 2>She's like flour ponco and eggs, lots of eggs, usually <v Speaker 2>not the ones I have. Weirder pole. <v Speaker 3>There's a pole between Dan and Mike. Seven for Mike, <v Speaker 3>said Mike is weird. Eight said Mike is weird. Sixty four, <v Speaker 3>sixty seven, sixty nine. I'm sorry, keeps going up, seventy two, <v Speaker 3>seventy three, seventy account they did. <v Speaker 2>It just now. I think it's like, okay, look we <v Speaker 2>have skins. Dan is weird. <v Speaker 4>It took a lighter to our skin, it would blister <v Speaker 4>up and pop up. I think that's what's happening with <v Speaker 4>the chins for the breading. Yes, skin can't do that, <v Speaker 4>but the kind of breading you're talking about. That's not <v Speaker 4>that's not what. <v Speaker 2>You wait, what is happening? You know? Have you worked <v Speaker 2>at pop Eyes? Have you worked at Popeyes? What is happening? No, <v Speaker 2>but I've I've cooked chicken. I fried chicken. <v Speaker 4>Okay, maybe your homemade chicken is different than Popeye's way. <v Speaker 2>Why are we read I made it? <v Speaker 3>Why are we talking about human skin? Because the chemical. <v Speaker 2>Process is nothing but skin, Dan, The skin's only on <v Speaker 2>the top part. You have the breading on all sides <v Speaker 2>of it. <v Speaker 1>Stop roastop, got it bad. Let's just explain it. Breading <v Speaker 1>is a it's a coat ink that has created a <v Speaker 1>series of other ingredients. So you add crypts, punker crumbs exactly. <v Speaker 2>You know that. <v Speaker 1>You know that, and then you carried on saying things <v Speaker 1>and it went weird. So let's just clear up. Dan understands. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>effectively you had punk or crumbs. But you can also <v Speaker 1>make an equivalent of punco crumbs by doing like flour <v Speaker 1>and eggs, and it creates that same kind. <v Speaker 2>I'm okay with the flower part. I just wouldn't make <v Speaker 2>it all the eggs. Yeah, yeah, yeah, all right, forgot <v Speaker 2>almost everything. <v Speaker 1>Oh great, it's another food one fuck. <v Speaker 3>You're in charge of the show. <v Speaker 2>You picked the ems. So you want to read this. <v Speaker 1>One's called made some chili. It doesn't seem to be <v Speaker 1>attributed to anyone. I'm going to read this because you'll <v Speaker 1>see why I made some chili. I used beans trio, <v Speaker 1>like a can of three kinds, eighty twenty ground beef, <v Speaker 1>some Marizano tomatoes, cut up, crushed tomatoes, half a can <v Speaker 1>of servesa. I forgot the bell peppers. Everyone pick a <v Speaker 1>gredient to add to this. Exist stay chili. <v Speaker 4>I'm gonna take out like six of them, taking out <v Speaker 4>all the tomato stuff it chew and the green bell peppers. Yeah, <v Speaker 4>I don't want tomatoes in it. <v Speaker 3>And chili. <v Speaker 2>If you like chili is great. <v Speaker 3>You like the tomatoes. <v Speaker 4>Now, if it's like a sauce thing, if it goes <v Speaker 4>into the sauce, and I'm fine with that, like barbecue sauce. <v Speaker 4>I know all that tomato based, but I don't want <v Speaker 4>like shoot tomatoes anything. <v Speaker 1>That's it's sauce. It's sauce. <v Speaker 2>It's not like it's going to be cooked down and <v Speaker 2>turned to the sauce. IM fine with that. <v Speaker 4>But no, but he says, you're crushed and cut up tomatoes. <v Speaker 4>I don't want to cut up ones. I just want <v Speaker 4>during the cooking process. Will John Carson says he's the <v Speaker 4>same way. Yeah, get junk. Carson was stressed as mister <v Speaker 4>mind doesn't opinions. <v Speaker 1>I would add punko crumbs. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, cheese, like eight pounds of cheese, hard boiled eggs. <v Speaker 2>I would add some like dark chocolate, maybe even little <v Speaker 2>cocoa powder. And chili is really nice. <v Speaker 1>The real answer is if you can find it bombay mix, <v Speaker 1>add some of that teo chili. It gives it a <v Speaker 1>little crunch, little spice. It's really good. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, that's I would Actually I would just put alliapenos <v Speaker 3>in some some stuff like that. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, that'd be good. <v Speaker 4>Next, like klopenio bitters in there. Can you get like <v Speaker 4>like the essence of ali. <v Speaker 1>Literally, yeah you can. You could just buy put a <v Speaker 1>jar of kilipinos and then just pour out the juice <v Speaker 1>into it. <v Speaker 3>Alipio nachos are already that, like the little like sliced <v Speaker 3>up nacho style jalapeno. <v Speaker 2>That's already that. <v Speaker 1>I think. I think. I think there's two kinds of hilopenos. <v Speaker 1>You can get lapinos, which are like quite crunchy because <v Speaker 1>a lot of the spices in the actual like seeds <v Speaker 1>of it and the actual thing. Or you can get <v Speaker 1>ones that are like brined and pickled, which are very soft. <v Speaker 1>I think that you would like the soft ones because <v Speaker 1>you basically cannot taste it. You cannot like. <v Speaker 2>Buy with that. <v Speaker 4>If it's like crystal, like tiny little flavor curstals, I'm <v Speaker 4>fine with that. <v Speaker 2>Pepper's like that thing. I don't want the pepper texture. <v Speaker 4>But like John Carson brought some Carolina Reaper cheese from <v Speaker 4>Weston when he came over, and that ship was good <v Speaker 4>as hell. <v Speaker 2>I had some of that today. N Carson's in the chat. <v Speaker 3>He's one of the Nasty Boys. <v Speaker 2>Mime. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, he's mister mime bro. <v Speaker 1>I've got multiple jobs, man, you know what, I can't <v Speaker 1>keep up keep. <v Speaker 2>Hosting this show. <v Speaker 3>I got mister mind stuff here somewhere else. <v Speaker 1>Next comes from Tom pe from Florida, who's got email <v Speaker 1>called Turbo Shawan origins. Hey, dude, is we hear often <v Speaker 1>about the origin of Mike's Tolkoto too often? If you <v Speaker 1>ask me, why is Sean known as Turbo Sean? Is <v Speaker 1>he a big fan of the Turbographic sixteen, a fast <v Speaker 1>runner or did he just need a Twitter handle. Much <v Speaker 1>love Tom P from Florida. Uh, Turbo Sean, Turbo Sean, <v Speaker 1>Turbo Shan. He say his name three times and he <v Speaker 1>show a pit. <v Speaker 2>Oh shit. <v Speaker 3>The best part is he has to edit this so <v Speaker 3>he's he knows what he's doing here. <v Speaker 5>Yep, I'm recording my audio high Sean Clap clap. I've <v Speaker 5>told the story multiple times, so I'm curious here who <v Speaker 5>was paying attention? <v Speaker 3>You do multiple run Your favorite games have turbo meters <v Speaker 3>and them like Street Fighter. <v Speaker 2>Bullshit, Blitz and Jam and stuff like that, Blitz and <v Speaker 2>Jam and stuff like that. <v Speaker 5>Yeah, I do not know. Yeah, you know, at least <v Speaker 5>he's honest. You're missing You're missing one. Yes, it's because <v Speaker 5>I play love of arcade games that have turbo things <v Speaker 5>in them, like racing and you're midway. <v Speaker 3>They're fought in the Turbo Wars. <v Speaker 5>Clearly everyone knows that the Great Turbo Wars of nineteen <v Speaker 5>sixty nine. Yeah, a lot of midway arcade games have <v Speaker 5>turbo meters. I grew up playing l Love NBA, Jam <v Speaker 5>hel Blitz. The last one is super Stree Fire two. <v Speaker 5>Turbo was my first traditional fighting game. <v Speaker 1>What was what was the game that that kind of <v Speaker 1>locked that idea into place. What was the game that <v Speaker 1>you played it and went I'm gonna use Turbo. <v Speaker 5>It's a fairly recent username. <v Speaker 2>Actually. <v Speaker 5>I've been using a variety of variations of Sean and <v Speaker 5>Makewell and stuff for like a very long time, and <v Speaker 5>then well, like five years ago maybe so pretty recently, <v Speaker 5>I was just like, a, I need something better than this, <v Speaker 5>and that's why I went. <v Speaker 1>With I have a follow up question for everyone here. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>everyone has a username that they currently use online, right, <v Speaker 1>Can you tell us some of your previous USERNAMESO Job, <v Speaker 1>neo job was you grub that's name. <v Speaker 3>Still it's like job one up from when I was <v Speaker 3>on one up dot com with neo job. It was <v Speaker 3>actually job sixty four and then that name got banned <v Speaker 3>from AOL because I said the fuck word and then uh, <v Speaker 3>and then so I went in with neo job. The <v Speaker 3>new job. <v Speaker 2>I was before Tolkoto, I was the Doc d A <v Speaker 2>d O C because I played the medic in T <v Speaker 2>Fortress Classic all the time. <v Speaker 1>D A d OC. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, the ds were capitalized, so yeah, if you'll get <v Speaker 2>shut oll wright it up. <v Speaker 1>But it was the Doc Dan. <v Speaker 4>My call of duty activision name is Hasbender. Huh it's <v Speaker 4>a mcgruber thing. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, right, Uh, just a variety of things. <v Speaker 5>I would put it in front of Sean, you know, <v Speaker 5>like player one Sean or whatever, and uh, some other ones. <v Speaker 5>Maybe I won't say because it's tied to some stuff <v Speaker 5>that you know, personal, But yeah, I don't know, nothing <v Speaker 5>terribly interesting. Sometimes my initials because my initials are S <v Speaker 5>a M, so it was very easy to just like, <v Speaker 5>you know, put Sam on things, especially arcade games. <v Speaker 2>You know. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I played count Strike for the longest time under <v Speaker 1>the name Robot Devil as a reference to the Futurama <v Speaker 1>character of the Robot Devil. <v Speaker 2>That was it. <v Speaker 1>That's pretty good. <v Speaker 2>What was it? <v Speaker 1>Thank you, Sean, Thank you. Shame going back the guys, Okay, cool. <v Speaker 2>All right bye Sean. <v Speaker 1>Final question comes from John from Greece. The title of <v Speaker 1>this email is aging gamer. Hi, bon crue, and thanks <v Speaker 1>for all the entertainment. Turning forty in seven months and <v Speaker 1>I find myself having less and less time to play games. <v Speaker 1>I used to finish a couple of games a month, <v Speaker 1>and now I'm lucky if I finish a couple of <v Speaker 1>them per year. I used to play them all on <v Speaker 1>normal or sometimes hard. As I was playing Salent Hill <v Speaker 1>to remake and being a total worse, I turned the <v Speaker 1>difficulty to easy when I was at the hospital section <v Speaker 1>of the game. Wo boy, did that take a load <v Speaker 1>off my shoulders. I was planning to do the DLC <v Speaker 1>for Anoik two next and I'm now considering starting on easy. <v Speaker 1>I think I'm an easy old game now and I <v Speaker 1>think I'll be able to finish more games. Thanks, Jon <v Speaker 1>fan Grees. Not really a question there. I think John <v Speaker 1>fan Gre looking for a validation. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I wish I could do. I was playing Diablo <v Speaker 2>for Vessel of Hatred, the new expansion last night, and <v Speaker 2>I was like, you know, it's on hard mode, but <v Speaker 2>like that's not really supposed to be that hard. It's <v Speaker 2>it's Diablo. Difficulty is weird than that. I was playing <v Speaker 2>through it and it was basically all cakewalk and I <v Speaker 2>just got to some boss that seemed impossible, and I <v Speaker 2>know I should have just loaded difficulty. I just can't <v Speaker 2>actually do it. I have weird mental blocks about that. <v Speaker 2>It just drives me crazy. I feel really bad about myself. <v Speaker 2>I need to get over a little bit. <v Speaker 3>You know, And like you're at a point where it's <v Speaker 3>like maybe you're not in the same position that John is. <v Speaker 3>Sure we're still about aging and we're yeah, we're all <v Speaker 3>getting older, but he's probably like losing time to other things, <v Speaker 3>other hobbies and responsibilities, and like we're all playing a <v Speaker 3>lot of games still for our main jobs. So I <v Speaker 3>still feel that as well, Mike, for sure. But I <v Speaker 3>can see myself at some point in the future being <v Speaker 3>very frequently. But like, if I want to experience a game, <v Speaker 3>maybe I'll just go down to easy and and you know, <v Speaker 3>especially because I'm like, you know, I'm forty two. I'm <v Speaker 3>going to be in my fifties here pretty soon. At <v Speaker 3>that point, I will not care a lick. I think <v Speaker 3>if I were to like start games easier story mode, <v Speaker 3>I won't care anymore. <v Speaker 2>The sun is hitting me directly right now. God Raised, <v Speaker 2>God is like peering down on your mustache and I'm <v Speaker 2>going to be the next King of Lion King or something. <v Speaker 1>What the hell the King of Lion Kings? <v Speaker 4>God? <v Speaker 2>Okay, on, there it goes. That was weird. <v Speaker 3>It really did just go away. <v Speaker 1>Thank God, going down. Oh. <v Speaker 4>I tend to always do normal or whatever the default is, <v Speaker 4>because like I I kind of in my head think <v Speaker 4>like oh, this is the way it was like intended <v Speaker 4>to be played or whatever. But there are certain exceptions <v Speaker 4>where like I remember like those Wolfenstein Machine Games ones, <v Speaker 4>the couple recent ones, there was like stealth stuff and everything, <v Speaker 4>and like, I know I'm not good at stealth. I <v Speaker 4>don't like playing stealth. And like when I play like <v Speaker 4>a very violent first person shooter like Wolfenstein, I just <v Speaker 4>want to like run and gun, and I turned those <v Speaker 4>too easy and it was just a blast sprinting through <v Speaker 4>those levels like dual wielding and just annihilating people. So <v Speaker 4>if it seems right for the game, I will certainly <v Speaker 4>do it. And like I'm not going to feel like, oh, <v Speaker 4>I didn't really play it. I played it uneasy. <v Speaker 1>You know, we play. You play your video games to <v Speaker 1>have fun. You play video games for yourself. Yes, when <v Speaker 1>you decide not to change the circumstances of whatever video <v Speaker 1>game you're playing so that it gives you the best <v Speaker 1>chance of having fun, you're no longer playing video games <v Speaker 1>for yourself. You're then playing it for someone else, some <v Speaker 1>amorphous idea of what video games or how video games <v Speaker 1>should be played. Do whatever you have to to make <v Speaker 1>sure every moment you're playing a video game is fun <v Speaker 1>because otherwise you're wasting time and you could be doing <v Speaker 1>many other things. Yeah, I mean like it doesn't matter. <v Speaker 1>I don't have like you do cheating games online. <v Speaker 3>Right yeah, multiplayer yeah definitely. But like I mean, in <v Speaker 3>from games, when like they give you the thing to <v Speaker 3>bring in a friend to help you the boss. <v Speaker 2>Just do it. <v Speaker 1>Do it still coming if you need to. It's fun. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>it's a good time. That brings us to the end <v Speaker 1>of another episode of the Giant Bomb Cast. Thank you <v Speaker 1>to Dan for being here. <v Speaker 2>Ah was that that wasn't a soundboard thing? <v Speaker 5>That was? <v Speaker 1>I mean, I live in the Bay area. Something around <v Speaker 1>here just honked really loudly. Thank you to Dan, Thank <v Speaker 1>you to Mitch, thank you to Grub, and thank you <v Speaker 1>to John Carson. I appreciate everything you've done for this website. Sure, <v Speaker 1>we've got another few days left in the week and <v Speaker 1>we'll have Gameless Mornings. <v Speaker 3>Of course, games Morts be back all week. Yes, yes, <v Speaker 3>that's great. <v Speaker 1>We should have a black club coming tomorrow. We should <v Speaker 1>have a voicemail dump truck happening, and a UPF. That <v Speaker 1>is the plan. Please give us some grace if stuff <v Speaker 1>happens and we decide to change what we want to do. <v Speaker 1>As you know, there are various things happening in the <v Speaker 1>world that could very drastically change our moods. <v Speaker 3>If you find sad tonight, yeah, if. <v Speaker 1>You find that we decide we don't want to do <v Speaker 1>this for whatever reason, know that it's not because we're <v Speaker 1>being lazy. It's just we need to take care of ourselves. <v Speaker 3>We love you guys, but we got to love ourselves <v Speaker 3>here a little bit for sure. <v Speaker 1>But send your best wishes to Jan. Thank you to <v Speaker 1>Turbo Sean for coming in and helping us out with <v Speaker 1>his origin story and then going on to edit the show. <v Speaker 1>And we will be back for the bomb cast next <v Speaker 1>week and maybe the rest of the features this week. Goodbye, <v Speaker 1>everyone hating ba
