<v Speaker 1>This is WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre and you're listening to <v Speaker 1>the WWE podcast. <v Speaker 2>The show, the one that everybody wants met for sixteenth <v Speaker 2>So just what your ass is my arm, you can <v Speaker 2>acknowledge me. <v Speaker 3>And welcome everybody to do the Week in Review on <v Speaker 3>this Saturday. Actually it is as I record this another <v Speaker 3>week where it's a little bit early than usual, but <v Speaker 3>I'm glad I'm able to be here as we roll <v Speaker 3>towards one week away from Clash in Paris, it's slighting <v Speaker 3>up to be a pretty big show. We got a <v Speaker 3>hint of brock Lesner at the end of SmackDown that <v Speaker 3>we don't know anything other than having Nick Aldos tell <v Speaker 3>John Cena I heard from brock Lesner and then wayam <v Speaker 3>the lights went out from Logan Paul. So we don't <v Speaker 3>know what that's going to mean. It could have meant <v Speaker 3>that he is going He's warned John Cena. He could <v Speaker 3>be a Clash in Paris. It could mean that he's <v Speaker 3>targeting John Cena for a I don't know, a September <v Speaker 3>twentieth event to the Wressel Palooza. Boy, that's such a <v Speaker 3>I don't like that name, but that's probably where it's headed, <v Speaker 3>as John Cena and Logan Paul are doing a one <v Speaker 3>off and then it's clearly brock Lesner that's going to <v Speaker 3>be in the sights of John Cena and vice versa <v Speaker 3>as they head to to Wressell Palooza. In my again <v Speaker 3>my estimate is that it could also mean that brock <v Speaker 3>Lesner appears at Clash in Paris. I wouldn't put too <v Speaker 3>much stock in it. Brock Lesner is notorious for despising <v Speaker 3>travel and people and all the rest, which is not <v Speaker 3>exactly the best attributes to have in his line of work. <v Speaker 3>But a he's making millions and still working in minimal schedule, <v Speaker 3>So what do I know? But brock Lesner could show <v Speaker 3>up at Clash in Paris. All of our preview and <v Speaker 3>predictions will be coming later this week as we go <v Speaker 3>towards the event on Saturday, and it should be a <v Speaker 3>pretty big event. Obviously going to be a hot crowd, <v Speaker 3>as was the Dublin Ireland crowd for the SmackDown that <v Speaker 3>just aired last night, or at least aired here in <v Speaker 3>the States last night if you were overseas, was much earlier, <v Speaker 3>in which case you loved it, and it probably could <v Speaker 3>do that every week. We got a great review from <v Speaker 3>Amanda if you haven't already checked it out. Amanda reviewed <v Speaker 3>SmackDown last night and did a great job and encourage <v Speaker 3>you to check it out. It should be in the <v Speaker 3>feed right before this show. But I'd also encourage you <v Speaker 3>while I'm on the platform of encouraging people to check <v Speaker 3>out the Patreon site because that offers an ad free <v Speaker 3>experience and offers a lot more as well. The Patreon <v Speaker 3>side of things is a good place to be on <v Speaker 3>a pl week because you connect with other patrons and <v Speaker 3>you can get everything ad free, which is really what <v Speaker 3>this is all about, right, that's the main benefit. You <v Speaker 3>don't have to hear any ads at patreon dot com. <v Speaker 3>Slash WWE podcast so check that out as we get <v Speaker 3>closer to Clash in Paris and consider giving us a trial. <v Speaker 3>Also on Apple, Apple Podcasts has the same deal. So well, <v Speaker 3>let's get into it. Let's get into SmackDown. As Amanda <v Speaker 3>already gave her review, but I'll give mine as well. <v Speaker 3>Double up on this and then touch on Raw and <v Speaker 3>some final thoughts as we get into a big week <v Speaker 3>here in WWE world. So we had, as I said, <v Speaker 3>SmackDown air from Dublin Ireland, Dublin not Dublin at three Arena, <v Speaker 3>and it streamed live internationally on Netflix and it aired <v Speaker 3>on delay on the USA Network. So yeah, again, if <v Speaker 3>you were in the non United States part of the world, <v Speaker 3>then you were able to to get a nice, nice, <v Speaker 3>beautiful time for the SmackDown to be aired. But it <v Speaker 3>starts off with the broadcast team of Joe Testator, who <v Speaker 3>I think is doing You know, I gotta commend the guy. <v Speaker 3>He's doing a great job. I appreciate it. He's all business, <v Speaker 3>he does the best to hype up everything. He's got <v Speaker 3>a just a solid announced voice to see the greatest <v Speaker 3>of all time. No, but he is certainly better than <v Speaker 3>the revolving door that WWE was going through over many <v Speaker 3>many years. So I am you know, I like the <v Speaker 3>pair of Wade Barrett and Joe Testator, who are no nonsense, <v Speaker 3>all business and Wade does add the quote color to <v Speaker 3>the commentary. But you know, Joe Testator is a very <v Speaker 3>solid lead on that whole deal, you know, piloting the <v Speaker 3>airplane or whatever analogy you want to use. So we <v Speaker 3>had Becky Lynch come out while being introduced by announcer <v Speaker 3>Mark Nash and the crowd prop pretty big for Becky Lynch, <v Speaker 3>and of course they did. She's from Ireland. Boy, they <v Speaker 3>would have loved her first gimmick. Remember her first gimmick. <v Speaker 3>Remember remember Becky Lynch's first gimmick. She would come out <v Speaker 3>doing an Irish jig. I'm not kidding. It will provide <v Speaker 3>a first class secondhand embarrassment. If you are brave enough <v Speaker 3>to watch it, go just google or YouTube Becky Lynch's <v Speaker 3>NXT debut. It's pretty horrific, pretty It's hard for me <v Speaker 3>to watch because it's so forced and it's like the <v Speaker 3>only thing she had going for it was like, Oh, <v Speaker 3>I'm from Ireland, Let's let's just play on the stereotype. <v Speaker 3>That's her whole deal. That was her whole deal. I mean, <v Speaker 3>it's amazing and she went from that horrific embarrassing again. <v Speaker 3>It will provide embarrassment to you, even though you had <v Speaker 3>nothing to do with it, just by watching, just by <v Speaker 3>your eyes on that, I'm telling you you will feel embarrassment. <v Speaker 3>You may even blush watching it. It's pretty bad, but <v Speaker 3>it's obviously a great story coming from that to where <v Speaker 3>she is now in all the accomplishment into between and <v Speaker 3>main eventing WrestleMania for the first time for the women <v Speaker 3>and all that, so big pop as expected from the <v Speaker 3>Ireland crowd. <v Speaker 2>And. <v Speaker 3>She said, look at us, lads, we're on the Telly. Yeah, <v Speaker 3>I'm so, you know, I know this is going painfully <v Speaker 3>slow for a review, but there's like certain things I <v Speaker 3>have to just just hammer as an American, Okay, And look, <v Speaker 3>I appreciate all the international fans. We have a lot <v Speaker 3>of them. Does anybody actually call it the Telly? Please <v Speaker 3>tell me you don't. Is that a real thing? Or <v Speaker 3>is she just also playing up more stereotypes of how <v Speaker 3>Irish people speak. I know they say lads, I know, <v Speaker 3>wanker is another one to me that sounds so soft. <v Speaker 3>I don't know. I guess just being an American, I'm <v Speaker 3>sure some of the things we say. If you know, <v Speaker 3>you had a conversation with somebody from overseas that just <v Speaker 3>never really speaks to people from America, he'd be like, oh, <v Speaker 3>you say, what, that's weird. It's all cultural differences. But Telly, <v Speaker 3>I don't know, sounds childish to me. But hey, again, <v Speaker 3>I'm sure the things I say to the people that <v Speaker 3>would listen to me are like is this is this <v Speaker 3>guy like he could be diagnosed? Is he what's his <v Speaker 3>IQ room temperature? Yeah, I'm sure, but hey, I'm look. <v Speaker 3>I am respectful of how other people live, but I <v Speaker 3>also am very happy with where I live, if that <v Speaker 3>makes sense, Okay. She boasted that this was Becky did <v Speaker 3>the first ever WWE live broadcast broadcast from Dublin, and <v Speaker 3>Lynch recalled attending a w W event in the same <v Speaker 3>venue and said it made her life that Randy Orton <v Speaker 3>made eye contact with her and Becky Lynch turned on <v Speaker 3>the crowd by telling them that they don't deserve it, <v Speaker 3>and she said she petitioned backstage to have the show canceled. <v Speaker 3>And we want Lyra champ broke, which is pretty incredible. <v Speaker 3>Nobody wants Lyra in that position except sorry guys Dublin. <v Speaker 3>Lynch said they weren't going to get her because she'll <v Speaker 3>never get another shot at at Lynch's title and thank <v Speaker 3>god for that, because hey, again, outside of that venue, <v Speaker 3>in that particular area of the world, nobody wants to <v Speaker 3>see anymore. Like we're dune with it. But Lynch said <v Speaker 3>she's a gas that the lack of media coverage she's <v Speaker 3>getting in Ireland she said I'm your hero. A shut <v Speaker 3>the f up. Champ broke out that was kind of censored, <v Speaker 3>and then Lynch ran through some of her credentials and <v Speaker 3>boasted about how she's a very hot she has a <v Speaker 3>very hot American husband. And that's when Tippety Stratton comes <v Speaker 3>out and said that Lynch could leave or would make <v Speaker 3>her leave on behalf of everyone in Dublin. Naya Jackson <v Speaker 3>comes out and question why Stratton was bothering with Lynch, <v Speaker 3>and Jack's entered the ring and said Stratton has bigger problems. <v Speaker 3>Jackson knocked down or distracted Stratton, and then Lynch joined <v Speaker 3>Jacks and put the boots to Stratton. Jade Cargo comes <v Speaker 3>out and cleared Jacks from the ring, and then Lynch <v Speaker 3>tried to sneak up on Jade, who turned around and <v Speaker 3>then squared off with Lynch, and then Naya climbed on <v Speaker 3>the apron behind Jade. Stratton returned to the ring and <v Speaker 3>dropped tick Jack's off of the apron. Nick All This <v Speaker 3>comes out and said he thought it would be fun <v Speaker 3>to have Lynch in Ireland. He said he spoke about <v Speaker 3>with spoke about it with Raw general manager Adam Pierce, <v Speaker 3>who signed off on making Stratton and Jade versus Lynch <v Speaker 3>and Jack's a tag team main event. So once again <v Speaker 3>we have a crossover with no logic. Okay, the logic <v Speaker 3>is Becky's from Ireland, But okay, fine, are we just <v Speaker 3>gonna go with everybody gets to get go to the <v Speaker 3>opposite brand if that opposite brand is in their home country. <v Speaker 3>I will continue to hammer this. Yes, the horses beyond dead, <v Speaker 3>it's just ash at this point. I know that's fine, <v Speaker 3>but it deserves to not go unnoticed. And WWE needs <v Speaker 3>to be held accountable if they're going to pretend that <v Speaker 3>these brand rules are going to mean anything. But I'm <v Speaker 3>fine with Lynch being there if they had any just <v Speaker 3>moniker of respect for the rules that they put into place. <v Speaker 3>So we did have this tag team match, and hey, <v Speaker 3>for Jade, she got a decent pop and I think <v Speaker 3>a lot of that is because number one, this is <v Speaker 3>a hot crowd for pretty much everybody, and Jade wasn't <v Speaker 3>speaking on the mic, which as much as she needs <v Speaker 3>to do who advance her career if she wants to <v Speaker 3>get off this plateau that she's been on for a <v Speaker 3>long time now, she does need to improve her MIC's skills, <v Speaker 3>but probably for the best in this particular situation. She <v Speaker 3>just came out and does what she does best, and <v Speaker 3>that's just, you know, toss people around. But boyd is Jade, <v Speaker 3>She's in a I know, the segment wasn't about Jade, really, <v Speaker 3>It's about Becky and the team main event and the <v Speaker 3>kind of tension between Jax and Stratton and that's still <v Speaker 3>there and all the rest and Jade and Stratton obviously <v Speaker 3>have had a match, so there's a lot of like <v Speaker 3>dynamics going on there. But Jade needs WW needs to <v Speaker 3>just figure out what to do with her because if <v Speaker 3>they're going to keep her here but then somehow try <v Speaker 3>to position her as a champion as a baby face, <v Speaker 3>it's not gonna happen. Well, it can happen, but the <v Speaker 3>fans are gonna outright reject it, as they have and <v Speaker 3>have shown you that they will with the Jacks and <v Speaker 3>the Tiffany Stratton and nine Jade Cargill matchup for the <v Speaker 3>Women's Championship that the fans were just nowhere near ready <v Speaker 3>to anoint Jade as their champion. So again I'm I'm <v Speaker 3>rooting for Jade to get there, but they need to <v Speaker 3>let her sink or swim, just just put her on <v Speaker 3>the MIC. I'm fine with no MIC in this case <v Speaker 3>because you're again you're minimizing her weaknesses maximizing her strength. <v Speaker 3>I'm just saying long term, over all, she needs to <v Speaker 3>get on the MIC more. She has to, but that's <v Speaker 3>not her strong point. Okay. MotorCity machine Guns take on Carmelo, <v Speaker 3>Hayes and the Miz. The match went seven and a <v Speaker 3>half minutes, with Carmelo and the Miz beating MotorCity Machine <v Speaker 3>Guns Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin the finish. It's kind <v Speaker 3>of what we've been seeing with the MIZZ and Carmelo Hayes, <v Speaker 3>which is the uh the other team gets some signature offense. <v Speaker 3>Hayes hit Sabin down and went to the ropes of <v Speaker 3>the finish, but Miz tagged himself in once again as <v Speaker 3>Hayes dropped down and then bigger with Miz, and then <v Speaker 3>Sabin sent Hayes into Miz, who fell up the apron. <v Speaker 3>Carmelo put Sabin down, and then Shelley closelined Hayes over <v Speaker 3>the top rope and dove on to him, and then <v Speaker 3>Miz came to the ring and pinned Saban again, it's <v Speaker 3>rinse and repeat here with Carmelo and the Miz. We <v Speaker 3>all know eventually what's gonna happen here, and that is <v Speaker 3>Carmelo Hayes turning on the Miss as he probably should, <v Speaker 3>and putting Carmelo into a position for a run. That's <v Speaker 3>been the Miss's role for about a decade now. Is <v Speaker 3>he is the guy that should you know, he works <v Speaker 3>with newer talent, works with guys that WWA is about <v Speaker 3>ready to push, and he puts them over in a <v Speaker 3>big way. And there's something to be said for that. <v Speaker 3>I give Miss all the credit in the world. But <v Speaker 3>I've heard so many people say wrestlers, ex wrestlers say, <v Speaker 3>you know that the Miz is one of the most <v Speaker 3>underrated talents in WWE don't. Fans don't realize how good <v Speaker 3>he is. No, we do. And guess what our opinion <v Speaker 3>means more because we're the ones that, in you know, <v Speaker 3>in practice, actually decide who gets cheered, who gets pushed, <v Speaker 3>who doesn't. Now, WWE will for you fight us on that, <v Speaker 3>and we WWE and fans have had a kind of <v Speaker 3>simmering rivalry over the last number of years, But in general, <v Speaker 3>what we're sold is the fans make the decisions, even <v Speaker 3>though it's not like quite true, it's you know, in principle, <v Speaker 3>it's true and and in the end usually we do <v Speaker 3>win here. So my point is that while people say <v Speaker 3>the Miss again top wrestlers, ex wrestlers have said this <v Speaker 3>that he's underrated, I don't think he is. We know <v Speaker 3>what the Mi is is. He's a guy that can <v Speaker 3>go well in the ring. He helps out new talent. <v Speaker 3>He hasn't aged in fifteen years. People still view him <v Speaker 3>as a you know, a YouTube or rather a real <v Speaker 3>world talent, and he occasionally will touch a mid card <v Speaker 3>title belt and then get dropped back, and he's decent <v Speaker 3>for a promo. But like I mean, I don't know, <v Speaker 3>if the Miss was so damn good, and we're told <v Speaker 3>that he's so damn good, wouldn't he have been, you know, <v Speaker 3>a world champion for a significant amount of time at <v Speaker 3>this point? <v Speaker 1>You know? <v Speaker 3>So I guess I don't know. I'm not crapping on <v Speaker 3>the Miz, but I think with how long he's been here, <v Speaker 3>we would know what we have. And I think the <v Speaker 3>fans have decided on what we have with the Miss, <v Speaker 3>and that's a solid talent that can you can use <v Speaker 3>kind of anywhere? Okay? So, Kathy Kelly congratulated Jimmy USO <v Speaker 3>on the pregnancy news and also wished him a happy birthday, <v Speaker 3>and Jimmy spoke about all the love that he and <v Speaker 3>Naomi had been getting from everyone. Sammy Zane entered the <v Speaker 3>picture and gave Jimmy a big hug, and Zaane said <v Speaker 3>he cried his eyes out when he heard the news <v Speaker 3>and said the baby would always have him as an uncle, <v Speaker 3>and that's the US champion. Solo so CoA showed up <v Speaker 3>with Talatanga, Jason Matteo and Tangaloa, and Solo said the <v Speaker 3>baby would have plenty of uncles in his family. Solo <v Speaker 3>also gave Jimmy the blessing of being able to name <v Speaker 3>the baby after his favorite uncle. Solo and Sammy told <v Speaker 3>Solo to worry about his title rather than naming other <v Speaker 3>people's babies. Solo mockingly asked if he should worry about <v Speaker 3>underdog Zaane and Zaye said he should worry about WrestleMania <v Speaker 3>main eventor Sammy z Ain. Okay, so are we really <v Speaker 3>going with this? I mean, they keep pushing this. I'm <v Speaker 3>telling you they are right now as the kids would <v Speaker 3>say low key, making Sammy's Ain the favorite to win <v Speaker 3>next year's Royal Rumble. It's not locked in stone. I'd <v Speaker 3>say he is right now one of the top favorites. <v Speaker 3>ID he should be in the conversation of the top three, <v Speaker 3>at least. They keep and have been pushing this narrative <v Speaker 3>of you can't win the big one, you won't win <v Speaker 3>the big one, you will, you won't, and then him <v Speaker 3>having to question his you know, his confidence and how <v Speaker 3>he used himself and all the rest. They're telling a <v Speaker 3>story here, and I would imagine it's leading to a <v Speaker 3>payoff at WrestleMania or at Royal Rumble, to lead to <v Speaker 3>WrestleMania for Sammy's Ain. That's how it looks right now. Now. <v Speaker 3>If you talk to me in December or January, this <v Speaker 3>may sound ridiculous, because who the hell knows what's going <v Speaker 3>to happen. There's certainly some cases to be made for <v Speaker 3>other talent on the roster, other than a veteran like <v Speaker 3>Sammy's Aim. But it's just been simmering in the background <v Speaker 3>for a long time now, and you'd think that there's <v Speaker 3>going to be a payoff here. Okay, Charlotte, then takes <v Speaker 3>on Piper Niven. The match went about the same length <v Speaker 3>here about seven minutes and forty five seconds. Piper beats Charlotte. <v Speaker 3>But here's how it happened. Flair put Nivin in the <v Speaker 3>figure four alba fire distracted the referee while Green raked <v Speaker 3>the eyes of Flair, and then Nivin followed up with <v Speaker 3>the Mitchinoku driver and got the three count. The Mitchinoku <v Speaker 3>driver is great. I'd say the Mitchinoku driver is. The <v Speaker 3>way she delivers it with such force is awesome. It's <v Speaker 3>not just like a scoop slam sit down. She drives <v Speaker 3>her opponent into the map map matt and does a <v Speaker 3>nice job. She's a big woman, obviously taller than most, <v Speaker 3>bigger than most in terms of just mass, and she <v Speaker 3>has a great finish. I love that finish, and it <v Speaker 3>was believable that she was able to beat Charlotte here <v Speaker 3>and get a little momentum. You know, if they ever <v Speaker 3>wanted to do with something with Piper, and even beyond <v Speaker 3>just having her be a side side character, they absolutely could. <v Speaker 3>She's got more to offer than what we're seeing. She <v Speaker 3>doesn't ever really get to speak, even when she does. <v Speaker 3>I mean, I've seen it's been decent, but they've got <v Speaker 3>something on their hands with Piper and right now again, <v Speaker 3>right now she's playing a side role. But to have <v Speaker 3>her get a victory over Charlotte Flair, is that a <v Speaker 3>sign of things to come? Who's to say? It could <v Speaker 3>simply be that it's not really about Piper getting the <v Speaker 3>victory so much as it is Chelsea costing Charlotte to match, <v Speaker 3>and that's probably what the narrative is, but certainly the <v Speaker 3>biggest win of Pipernibn's career. So backstage, US Champion Julia <v Speaker 3>is speaking with Keana James and Meechen shows up. Michen <v Speaker 3>told Julia that she wanted an appointment with the champion. <v Speaker 3>James recalled telling Mechen that she had to go through her, <v Speaker 3>and Miechen said she was tired of the miss calls <v Speaker 3>and appointments, so she opted to go straight to the champion, <v Speaker 3>and James repeated that Meechen had to go through her first, <v Speaker 3>and Meechen said she was happy about getting two matches. <v Speaker 3>She said she would go through James to get to Julia, <v Speaker 3>and she's who said she's not worried. We then have <v Speaker 3>an ad for Monday's Monday's Raw in Birmingham, England, and <v Speaker 3>noted that Roman Reigns will open the show. It's a <v Speaker 3>big deal, big deal, big deal. There ratings pop for sure. <v Speaker 3>There a video package. Then talked about W's ple deal <v Speaker 3>the ESPN and then John Cena big big reaction here, <v Speaker 3>a classic John Cena entrance. Thank god, the He'll run <v Speaker 3>is done and we have Logan Paul immediately interrupt without <v Speaker 3>even John Cena be able to being able to say <v Speaker 3>a word. Logan Paul interrupts an f you Logan chant <v Speaker 3>broke out and this was a fairly long promo here. <v Speaker 3>He talked about how the Irish people are all drunk, <v Speaker 3>washed up failures and said that if he spat in <v Speaker 3>their faces, they do nothing and call them little leprechauns, <v Speaker 3>which is funny, and told the fans to shut up <v Speaker 3>several times. Talked about how he's going to keep it <v Speaker 3>real with Sena and how he's a professional pretender and <v Speaker 3>an actor who knows how to wrestle, and the crowd <v Speaker 3>was chanting more profanities and people. Paul said people on <v Speaker 3>the internet would call him an outside He said he's <v Speaker 3>been doing it for four years. Every match he's had <v Speaker 3>has been great, and he's doing it for longer than <v Speaker 3>half the people on the roster and said he's exactly <v Speaker 3>who he says he is, where Sena is a corporate <v Speaker 3>punk who does whatever he's told. And Paul said he <v Speaker 3>does what he wants and doesn't have to go and <v Speaker 3>get naked at the Oscars to get attention if he <v Speaker 3>wants it. And Paul asked the fans whether he or <v Speaker 3>Cena where the impostor a wanker? Chant broke out What <v Speaker 3>does wanker even mean? <v Speaker 1>Like? <v Speaker 3>What's the American equivalent of the word wanker? Am I <v Speaker 3>cussing right now? I mean, is it just like a <v Speaker 3>d bag? I'm guessing d bag is the American equivalent <v Speaker 3>of wanker. I really don't want to have to google <v Speaker 3>this or chat gpt it. Somebody needs to tell me, <v Speaker 3>like what is the actual like if you I mean, <v Speaker 3>I know it's not a term of endearment. I know <v Speaker 3>it's supposed to be an insult. It's not something nice <v Speaker 3>to you call somebody. If I was over an island <v Speaker 3>and I was like, I was like, yeah, what's up, whanker? <v Speaker 3>Like that's it's not a good thing. I understand that. <v Speaker 3>So I'm trying to ask somebody who is over there <v Speaker 3>if you want to put it in an email to me. <v Speaker 3>This is a very strange email request. If you're from Ireland, <v Speaker 3>what is the American equivalent of calling somebody a wanker? <v Speaker 3>All right, this is getting weird, so let's continue. And <v Speaker 3>Paul said Sena has been doing the same five moves <v Speaker 3>for twenty three years. Yeah, referring to the five moves <v Speaker 3>of doom that people have hammered him for a while now, <v Speaker 3>So that's nothing revolutionary. He said, this is my house now, <v Speaker 3>and then Sena comes on the mic told fans that <v Speaker 3>Paul has an undeniable presence, He's a tremendous athlete. He <v Speaker 3>said he believes those things to be true, but that's <v Speaker 3>why it upsets him. And he said the fans kept <v Speaker 3>calling Paul an outsider, and they need to course correct <v Speaker 3>because we're stuck with him. And Sina said Paul isn't <v Speaker 3>an outsider, he's a disappointment and said he was so <v Speaker 3>excited when Paul started that he spent hours talking with <v Speaker 3>him on his podcast and said that you know, well, <v Speaker 3>he slid to ringside and stood behind the prime you <v Speaker 3>know stand and Sina said Paul used WWE as a <v Speaker 3>branding opportunity to buy another Pokemon card and then Sena <v Speaker 3>tipped over the hydration station card and returned to the ring. <v Speaker 3>Got a big pop there, and he said Paul had <v Speaker 3>the audacity to brag that he put his life on <v Speaker 3>the line in twenty three matches. Sina said that's a <v Speaker 3>magic number because he put his heart and soul WWE <v Speaker 3>for twenty three years. And Sina said it wasn't just <v Speaker 3>pay per views or televised events. He said he made <v Speaker 3>non televised appearances in Dublin and recalled facing Seamus when <v Speaker 3>no cameras were present. Well, yeah, that's what you do man, <v Speaker 3>when you're That was in twenty ten. John Cena was <v Speaker 3>still running the territory so to speak at that point. Yeah, <v Speaker 3>non televised events, that happens quite frequently. But Sena said <v Speaker 3>the only question he asks is what can he give <v Speaker 3>to the business. And Sina said the fans can see <v Speaker 3>that Paul is slimy. He said, Paul has one question <v Speaker 3>is what can I take from the business. And he said, <v Speaker 3>no matter what you do, people see through it. And <v Speaker 3>he labeled Paul a parasite who sucks everything he can <v Speaker 3>away from the business. He listed the names of the <v Speaker 3>wrestlers he'd be facing rather be facing than Paul. He <v Speaker 3>said aj Styles. He said Paul got lucky to get <v Speaker 3>the match with him because he was the first one <v Speaker 3>to step in line. And Sina said, Paul knows a <v Speaker 3>lot about hustle, but he knows nothing about loyalty or respect. <v Speaker 3>And he told him that he better bring his a <v Speaker 3>game because he's going to be facing the greatest of <v Speaker 3>all time. And he dropped a mic and that was <v Speaker 3>pretty much it, except for Paul shoving. Sena eventually gets <v Speaker 3>an AA for his troubles. Really good promo from John. <v Speaker 3>I mean, as the kids would say, I'm trying to <v Speaker 3>act tip here. I'm like the old guy now trying <v Speaker 3>to tip. He uh he cooked Logan Paul, I mean <v Speaker 3>he just did and logan Paul is decent on the mic. <v Speaker 3>He's better than he should be at this point in <v Speaker 3>his career, for only twenty three televised matches. He is <v Speaker 3>damn good on the microphone. For how far along he is, <v Speaker 3>He's not better than Sena. Sena is still one of <v Speaker 3>the greatest of all time on the microphone, and he <v Speaker 3>just absolutely destroyed Logan Paul here and uh, just you <v Speaker 3>know these I'm actually gonna miss John Cena's promos more <v Speaker 3>than I'm going to miss his in ring. Yeah, because <v Speaker 3>it's in ring. No one would ever say he's got <v Speaker 3>a five star He's you know, he's known for five <v Speaker 3>star matches. What makes Sena so appealing and it was <v Speaker 3>made him so appealing is his connection to the audience, <v Speaker 3>his his ability to just roast people in promos, his <v Speaker 3>his uh, his ability to remember what he wants to say, <v Speaker 3>but yet not go off track in rabbit holes and <v Speaker 3>keep on on, you know, on on task, and he's <v Speaker 3>just so good on the mic. He's just he's incredible. <v Speaker 3>So all right, backstage, Tiffany Stratton told Jade that she <v Speaker 3>didn't need her help, and Jade said there would be <v Speaker 3>no excuses and she's coming for the w W Women's <v Speaker 3>Championship after they take care of Becky Lynch and Nia <v Speaker 3>Jacks in the main event. That's when the Street Profits <v Speaker 3>made their entrance with BFAB and Logan Paul was then <v Speaker 3>shown walking backstage. He crossed paths with Drew, who said <v Speaker 3>Paul is scared of the mystique of John Cena. McIntyre said, <v Speaker 3>it's not twenty ten and it's no longer super Sena. <v Speaker 3>Mcatyre said, Paul is in his prime and he needs <v Speaker 3>to make things right tonight, no matter what it takes. <v Speaker 3>And McIntyre or Paul was ready to walk away, but <v Speaker 3>Drew stopped him and said, whatever it takes. Just McIntyre's <v Speaker 3>just he's just I don't know. Everything about his character <v Speaker 3>is just so much fun, so much fun. All right. <v Speaker 3>The Street Profits montes Fortan, Angela Dawkins would be fab <v Speaker 3>Yes she's still there, takes on Jason Matteo and Tangalowi here. <v Speaker 3>The match went ten minutes, with the Street Profits getting <v Speaker 3>a victory and a really good match. You know, I've <v Speaker 3>hammered the Street Profits for not having any kind of <v Speaker 3>evolution in their characters, and they really haven't. I mean, <v Speaker 3>you look back eight years now and you're like, oh, yeah, <v Speaker 3>they're pretty much the same dudes that they've come full <v Speaker 3>circle and I've mentioned that, Yeah, they did the whole <v Speaker 3>thing with Bobby Lashley and they were heeled for like <v Speaker 3>a hot minute, and they've kind of come back to <v Speaker 3>where they started. But they're still so damn good in <v Speaker 3>the ring, so damn good. And that is one thing <v Speaker 3>that has really kept them afloat is the charisma of <v Speaker 3>the team, particularly Monts, for that We've all been waiting <v Speaker 3>for about a decade to break out much like Xavier <v Speaker 3>Woods and go off on his own and do his <v Speaker 3>own thing. But it's the connection they have with the <v Speaker 3>crowd that still somehow exists. How still exists, I don't <v Speaker 3>know how. I don't know how, given the fact that <v Speaker 3>they never get to talk. There's no movement in their characters, <v Speaker 3>no development of the characters, just status quo, and yet <v Speaker 3>they're still living off of their their their original gimmick <v Speaker 3>for the most part. But the match was good and <v Speaker 3>it finished here. The finish was samy' z ain coming <v Speaker 3>out and blasting solo of the Halluva kick. He ran <v Speaker 3>through the crowd when Matteo and Lowa went to ringside, <v Speaker 3>and then Montes hit Matteo and Loa with a flip dive. <v Speaker 3>Back in the ring, Dawkins hit sky high on j C. Matteo, <v Speaker 3>and Ford then hit the big frog splash, just a <v Speaker 3>beautiful looking frog splash for the victory, and the Street <v Speaker 3>Profits are victorious in ten minutes. So fun, fun match, <v Speaker 3>all right. Alisha Black was shown shadow boxing, and Our <v Speaker 3>Truth then appeared on screen. He said he had some <v Speaker 3>good news and bad news. Truth said he wouldn't be <v Speaker 3>able to appear tonight because he thought the show was <v Speaker 3>in Dublin, Georgia, and Truth said he made a call <v Speaker 3>to a friend. Damian Priest shows up and brawled with <v Speaker 3>Alistair Black and Priest cleared the ring and followed him <v Speaker 3>to the floor and dropped him with an uppercut. Priest <v Speaker 3>set up Black to go through the broadcast table, but <v Speaker 3>security ran out and stopped him. Black returned to the <v Speaker 3>ring and Priest followed, and they continued to fight as <v Speaker 3>security intervened and pulled the wrestlers apart. So fine. I mean, <v Speaker 3>I don't remember was there a reconciliation with Truth and Priest, <v Speaker 3>because I remember a time not too long ago when <v Speaker 3>Priest was beating up Our Truth because Our Truth was <v Speaker 3>just not getting it that he's not part of the group, <v Speaker 3>and we had Priest beating him up. So maybe I'm <v Speaker 3>missing and forgot completely this reconciliation between Priest and Truth. <v Speaker 3>I don't have a problem with it. I'm not going <v Speaker 3>to make a big deal of it because they did <v Speaker 3>have a former bond together up until it fell apart. <v Speaker 3>But still fine because not only did Truth, you know, <v Speaker 3>have priests come out if there was some kind of reconciliation, <v Speaker 3>but even if even if you know that didn't happen, <v Speaker 3>it made sense that Truth or rather a priest would <v Speaker 3>come out because he has had issues separately with Alistair Black. <v Speaker 3>So fun, I mean, at least it has also Alistair <v Speaker 3>Black doing something which is good. I mean, they bring <v Speaker 3>russe V back, they bring Alistair Black back, and they're <v Speaker 3>just kind of doing the same stuff that they did <v Speaker 3>when they left. I mean, I don't expect them to <v Speaker 3>be world champions, but you'd think if they brought him back, <v Speaker 3>there'd be some kind of solidified plan for them. Seems <v Speaker 3>like they're just kind of flowing at the seat of <v Speaker 3>their pants there, but we okay. Drew McIntyre showed up <v Speaker 3>at ringside and stood behind the broadcast table, and McIntyre <v Speaker 3>asked if they had a particular if they had a <v Speaker 3>medical update on Cody Rhodes, and mcatyre told the crowd <v Speaker 3>he would give them an update, and McIntyre said Cody <v Speaker 3>Rhodes is a little b and mctyre told Cody to <v Speaker 3>hold the title belt tight because he would eventually have <v Speaker 3>to fight him, and McIntyre said, he's one of the <v Speaker 3>only people in we who is pinned Cody, and he's <v Speaker 3>going to take the title. And he asked the crowd <v Speaker 3>to guess how many people backstage told him off, and <v Speaker 3>he said the number was zero because they all want <v Speaker 3>Cody's spot. Orton enters the ring. Yes, Randy Orton, I <v Speaker 3>didn't even see this coming, but that's what happens with <v Speaker 3>rkos or I don't know where, and he hit Drew <v Speaker 3>McIntyre with an RKO. Crowd loved it, and that was that, <v Speaker 3>so nice appearance from Whorton. I still really would love <v Speaker 3>Drew mctyre to beat Cody Rhodes. I have my serious <v Speaker 3>doubts on that, just based on timing and the time <v Speaker 3>of the year and Cody just won it back and <v Speaker 3>all the rest of that, so it doesn't seem like <v Speaker 3>mctyre's in position to win the belt. Crazier things have happened. <v Speaker 3>But also the fact you add to the argument against <v Speaker 3>Drew winning is that Triple h generally but not exclusively, <v Speaker 3>but generally has been one of a belief in booking <v Speaker 3>for longer title reigns. So okay, we then have the <v Speaker 3>main event here. Now I know, backstage we had Becky <v Speaker 3>Lynch talking to herself, Nijack shows up all the rest, <v Speaker 3>but let's get to it here. So we had actually <v Speaker 3>an announcement by Joe Tessa Tour for a next week <v Speaker 3>SmackDown in Leon, France for Solo so CoA versus Samy's <v Speaker 3>aim for the United States Championship, The Street Profits versus <v Speaker 3>Mizz and Carmelo for a shot at the tag titles. <v Speaker 3>That's gonna be fun actually, and Alexa and Charlotte versus <v Speaker 3>Piper Knave and Alba Fire for the women's tag titles. <v Speaker 3>So quite a massive SmackDown title matches all over the <v Speaker 3>place in Leon, France next week. I do remember a <v Speaker 3>time when title matches were very few and far between. <v Speaker 3>They never almost ever happened on W television unless you <v Speaker 3>paid for it, right, I'm pls pay per views as <v Speaker 3>they were then known. I remember a time when that <v Speaker 3>was actually a thing. And their boy, they just continue <v Speaker 3>to hammer out title match after title match after title match, <v Speaker 3>and it's not like they have fewer pls. In fact, <v Speaker 3>they have more pls but then still give out more <v Speaker 3>title matches on free television. I don't know that this <v Speaker 3>is something that I'm old school. I guess like that, <v Speaker 3>and I prefer, you know, the very rare occasion make <v Speaker 3>it feel special when title matches are on Raw or SmackDown, <v Speaker 3>and instead it just feels it's not even specially anymore. <v Speaker 3>It's an expectation. It's an expectation. That's how far we've <v Speaker 3>come from fans that you go there, you're like, wait, <v Speaker 3>no titles are on the line. <v Speaker 1>What. <v Speaker 3>That's how far we've been re educated and recalibrated to <v Speaker 3>believe that there should always be some kind of title match, <v Speaker 3>if not multiple title matches, on any given live televised event. <v Speaker 3>I am a big anti proponent of giving away free <v Speaker 3>title matches at least all the effing time. Okay, I <v Speaker 3>had to have one rant for the night, so we <v Speaker 3>did get the main event here, the fourth match of <v Speaker 3>the night, Jade Cargill and Tiffany Stratton versus Becky Lynch <v Speaker 3>and Naiajacks. The match was quick though, just under seven minutes, <v Speaker 3>with Tiffany Stratton and Jade winning here, and the finish <v Speaker 3>was the fans serenading Lynch with the song that Barrett <v Speaker 3>said would not make her happy once she looked it <v Speaker 3>up online. And late in the match, Lynch walked out <v Speaker 3>after Jack's tagged in. Jack set up for her finish, <v Speaker 3>but Jade got to her feet and powerbomber. Not a <v Speaker 3>great power bomb, but yeah, Jacks is quite quite heavy. <v Speaker 3>Stratton tagged in hit the prettiest moon Sali ever on Jack's. <v Speaker 3>Jay tagged in before Stratton hit, and then Jack's and <v Speaker 3>hit Jacks with a top rope splash and we's got <v Speaker 3>to free counts. So Jade looking strong here. Jade is <v Speaker 3>the one getting the victory, and again, luckily for her, <v Speaker 3>they're in a pretty forgiving place where, you know, it's <v Speaker 3>more about the fans happy to be there. You know, <v Speaker 3>WW doesn't go all over there very often, and there's <v Speaker 3>kind of that that just kind of happy to be here. <v Speaker 3>We don't hate you, so we'll just default cheer you <v Speaker 3>kind of thing, And luckily for Jade that's the case. <v Speaker 3>But Jade did a decent job here, and I'm I'm <v Speaker 3>hard on Jade, you know, I do focus on her <v Speaker 3>because I want to see her succeed, because I see <v Speaker 3>what they see and we're not getting after two years now, <v Speaker 3>we're not getting much of a payoff from Jade. She's <v Speaker 3>rarely in one on one matches, she doesn't talk on <v Speaker 3>the mic as much as she probably should. She's clearly <v Speaker 3>resentful of the fans of her position because she I <v Speaker 3>bet you she feels and this is just my assumption <v Speaker 3>that she feels that we are responsible for and that <v Speaker 3>we should be cheering her based on just her appearance. <v Speaker 3>She should be championed, just based on her physique. Well, <v Speaker 3>I'm sorry to say for Jade, that's only one small <v Speaker 3>piece of the puzzle, because honestly, even your physique can <v Speaker 3>work against you because you're not that relatable. Your physique, <v Speaker 3>while as impressive as it is, and probably the most <v Speaker 3>impressive women's physique I've ever seen in pro wrestling bar none, <v Speaker 3>and that's a credit to her, does not in and <v Speaker 3>of itself make you a champion, does not anoint you <v Speaker 3>a champion, does not make you deserving of a championship. <v Speaker 3>It just gets people's attention, and it does. She's a <v Speaker 3>magnetic person or I didn't even say personality. She's a <v Speaker 3>magnetic presence. That's good, that's big. She's got obviously a <v Speaker 3>physique of a goddess. She does. She's an attractive woman, <v Speaker 3>at least in my mind she is. That's I think <v Speaker 3>that's good. There's nothing wrong with beautiful people, right, But <v Speaker 3>outside of that, she, like her in ring is is <v Speaker 3>kind of inconsistent. She's shown hints of greatness and then <v Speaker 3>kind of sloppy short matches. She's on the mic, and <v Speaker 3>then she's not, and then when she is, we don't <v Speaker 3>know anything about you. It's just kind of the one <v Speaker 3>liners that anyone listening to this podcast could deliver. So <v Speaker 3>there needs to be progress with her because she could <v Speaker 3>be a massive force in women's wrestling, and right now <v Speaker 3>she looks like she should be, but she's not. But <v Speaker 3>the problem is looking like you should be doesn't mean <v Speaker 3>you are or make you actually deserving of that. There <v Speaker 3>two rents. I don't think i'd get it in okay, <v Speaker 3>And then, as I said, Becky Lynch or rather Logan, <v Speaker 3>Paul knocks out John Cena. Something mentioned about Rock Lesner, <v Speaker 3>and then you know that was that. So we'll get <v Speaker 3>a little bit more. I'm sure about Brock maybe on <v Speaker 3>Raw maybe not all right, quick quick quick recap of <v Speaker 3>Monday Night Raw. We had let's see here the open. <v Speaker 3>Oh that's right. We had the open of the Vision <v Speaker 3>coming out and Hayman delivered and over the top introduction <v Speaker 3>for everybody. If you remember, Jay us So comes out. <v Speaker 3>We had Breaker, who's just the loose candidate of the group, <v Speaker 3>trying to be pulled back as Jay's talking about, you know, <v Speaker 3>talking a Breaker and riling them up, and that's when <v Speaker 3>Haymond essentially set up a an ECW style extreme rules <v Speaker 3>match between j Uso and Bron Breaker that ended up <v Speaker 3>being the main event, which is good. So let's see here. <v Speaker 3>We had EO Sky take on Roquel Rodriguez I'm my <v Speaker 3>a net raw that lasted eleven minutes with EO Sky winning. <v Speaker 3>We had Penta beat Xavier Woods in nine minutes and <v Speaker 3>fifty seconds. We had the World Tag Team champions Finn <v Speaker 3>Baler and j D McDonald beat Dragonly and Mister Iguana <v Speaker 3>in just under ten minutes as well in a non <v Speaker 3>title match. And then after the match, if you remember, <v Speaker 3>there was a beat down here of Vin Kingo and <v Speaker 3>the Judgment Day Trio standing tall with all their title belts. <v Speaker 3>And then we had let's go to the next sam <v Speaker 3>scrolling as fasts I can as a lot of backstage stuff. <v Speaker 3>But Becky Lynch versus Natalia for the women that are <v Speaker 3>Candival Championship match went eight minutes with Becky Lynch retaining. <v Speaker 3>And after the match we had Lynch come back and <v Speaker 3>attack Dupree which was really funny, and Nikki Bella made <v Speaker 3>the heroic save and hit the rack attack two point <v Speaker 3>zero and stood over her. And let's see what else here. <v Speaker 3>We then had Naomi Oh that's right, yeah, Naomi's big <v Speaker 3>announcement as we all know now her pregnancy announcement with <v Speaker 3>her and Jimmy, which is again, congrats to them. I'm <v Speaker 3>happy for them Selfishly, I want Naomi back as soon <v Speaker 3>as possible to pick up where she left off. We'll <v Speaker 3>see if motherhood changes her mind or if she's anxious <v Speaker 3>to get back and all the rest of it. But <v Speaker 3>I mean, again, being a mother, I'm not a mother, <v Speaker 3>but living with a mother and having two kids myself, yeah, <v Speaker 3>I can tell you that it changes your life in <v Speaker 3>ways that you just people try to tell you and <v Speaker 3>you're just like, yeah, yeah, I've heard that. I've heard that. <v Speaker 3>I've heard that, blah blah blah. But nothing truly prepares you. Nothing, <v Speaker 3>nothing will you think you do you think you know <v Speaker 3>what tired is, you think you know what zombie mode is, <v Speaker 3>you know all the rest, and you think you know <v Speaker 3>what joy is. And then sometimes you see your kids <v Speaker 3>and it's you know, it's very much a wide range <v Speaker 3>of emotion. And so my point all this being is <v Speaker 3>not that I'm in the end all be all knowledge <v Speaker 3>database of being a parent, just the fact that I <v Speaker 3>know being a parent can change how you view things <v Speaker 3>and what your your your admissions are, your priorities change. <v Speaker 3>So I hope Naomi comes back in short order. But <v Speaker 3>that's the selfish fan in me that doesn't care about <v Speaker 3>the other part of that. But the parent in me, <v Speaker 3>the human part of me, outside of being a wrestling fan, understands, Hey, <v Speaker 3>we may never see her back again. That's a long shot, <v Speaker 3>but it's possible. They could go anywhere from hey, I'll <v Speaker 3>be back two months, three months, or rather probably six <v Speaker 3>months after she has a kid at the earliest too. Hey, <v Speaker 3>we see her in a couple of years or never. <v Speaker 3>So only Trinity knows that, and we'll figure that out <v Speaker 3>along the way. But it is a big blow from <v Speaker 3>a professional standpoint to the women's division, because Naomi was <v Speaker 3>killing it. There was a reason why she was champion. <v Speaker 3>I think she would have held that for a long <v Speaker 3>time to come. We could have even got to next <v Speaker 3>her WrestleMania with Naomia's champion. She was on fire, she <v Speaker 3>found her identity and then bam she gets pregnant. So <v Speaker 3>you know, just things have changed. Things have changed in <v Speaker 3>a big way. It opens up another opportunity for somebody, <v Speaker 3>and that's how you have to kind of look at it. <v Speaker 3>So eventful week. But as I said, and as you know, <v Speaker 3>Clash in Paris comes to us next Saturday night a <v Speaker 3>week from now. As I record this and my official <v Speaker 3>preview and prediction show will be combined with the Mailbag show. <v Speaker 3>I'll get that out early early as I can on Friday, <v Speaker 3>and so send your questions or your predictions into me. <v Speaker 3>On Friday. I'll try to get to the mall. Usually <v Speaker 3>on pl e weeks there's an overload of emails, so <v Speaker 3>it's hard for me to get everything. If I don't <v Speaker 3>get everyone's email on Friday or voicemail, I will try <v Speaker 3>to put that on my Sunday's weekend review show that <v Speaker 3>will also be the Clash in Paris review show. It's <v Speaker 3>kind of a dual show. There big week obviously. The <v Speaker 3>short of it is, Yeah, there's a lot of wrestling <v Speaker 3>audio coming your way. I hope everybody enjoys it. I'll <v Speaker 3>be back on Tuesday with your week, or rather your <v Speaker 3>Monday night raw review. That will be I think a <v Speaker 3>big deal here coming to us from England and Birmingham, <v Speaker 3>England and yeah, so be ready for some hot crowds <v Speaker 3>and then when they return to the States, we'll come <v Speaker 3>back to kind of a subdued as I'm sure the <v Speaker 3>European crowds are saying, very boring, lazy United States crowds. <v Speaker 3>We are very much compared to you guys. We are <v Speaker 3>not as a high energy, sustained high energy that you <v Speaker 3>guys bring for hours on end. I don't know how <v Speaker 3>you do it. You know what I've been wondering is, <v Speaker 3>if you guys are this crazy for dough to b <v Speaker 3>what are your soccer when you guys call it football, <v Speaker 3>but I'll call it soccer your soccer games? I mean, <v Speaker 3>is it like this at actual sporting events? Are you <v Speaker 3>guys sustained in this noise level for that long? If so, <v Speaker 3>I have a question, are you are you guys actually <v Speaker 3>human beings or you from some distant planet with some <v Speaker 3>magical powers. You've been appointed, these powers that you just <v Speaker 3>you your energy levels just don't decline. You've you've you've <v Speaker 3>been endowed with some kind of elixir that allows you <v Speaker 3>to just maintain a level of energy that is inhuman. <v Speaker 3>I mean, honestly, I don't know. Maybe maybe there's something <v Speaker 3>in the water over there across the pond. Maybe there is, <v Speaker 3>because when I go to events, even when I was, <v Speaker 3>you know, younger, and I was in my late teens <v Speaker 3>early twenties, attending during the late Attitude era in the <v Speaker 3>into the Ruthless Aggression era and big big stars alst <v Speaker 3>their stone called rock brock Lesnar in his prime. I mean, <v Speaker 3>I remember screaming and yellow, but like it was never <v Speaker 3>even at the height of wrestling, it would never be <v Speaker 3>that sustained for that long. And you could say, oh, well, <v Speaker 3>Monday Night Raw after wrestlemindis, yeah, we had some like that. <v Speaker 3>But guess where most of the people in the audience <v Speaker 3>came from overseas, right, So I don't know, there's something <v Speaker 3>about you guys. I don't know what it is. I <v Speaker 3>don't know how you sustain that energy for that long, <v Speaker 3>But God bless you so alrighty, well, everybody enjoyed the <v Speaker 3>rest of their weekend as we go into next week, <v Speaker 3>and we'll be back with of course, as I said, <v Speaker 3>the Monday night Raw review, that'll be coming to you <v Speaker 3>on Tuesday evening, maybe even a live show. I can <v Speaker 3>do a live show. I've messed around with my Patreon <v Speaker 3>feed and there's a live button. I can go live <v Speaker 3>directly in Patreon. I don't have to go to some <v Speaker 3>other third party YouTube all that, So stay tuned for <v Speaker 3>that and I'll be going live for patrons later this week. <v Speaker 3>So all Rightyboddy, thanks so much, take care, talk next time. <v Speaker 4>Thanks for listening to the WWE podcast.
