WWE SmackDown Review: Fatu vs Solo Sikoa, New Women's US Champion, Cody Responds to TKO Executives

<v Speaker 1>Once again, I'm Amanda, your host of the SmackDown Review.
<v Speaker 1>Before we get to our review, there are a couple
<v Speaker 1>of major developing stories that we should talk about. Firstly,
<v Speaker 1>let's look back really quickly on Mania weekend. And I
<v Speaker 1>know you guys have probably liked me listened to so
<v Speaker 1>many different reviews since Mania. I don't want to go
<v Speaker 1>into it too deeply, but just a few very quick thoughts.
<v Speaker 1>A Mania itself, well, i'd say a controversial one to
<v Speaker 1>say the least, for so many reasons Night one and
<v Speaker 1>there was a lot of noise online. People really didn't
<v Speaker 1>like Night one. I didn't mind it at all. So
<v Speaker 1>we did get Cody defeating Randy Autumn, meaning that Cody retained,
<v Speaker 1>and we've got some postmatch chaos, i'd say, with an
<v Speaker 1>Autumn attack an orton attack on Cody. Also in the process,
<v Speaker 1>McAfee got himself an RKO, so hopefully he is now
<v Speaker 1>done with WWE and We've got a pretty brutal looking
<v Speaker 1>punt on Cody, leaving him with some quite significant looking injuries.
<v Speaker 1>Some other key moments from night one we had Live
<v Speaker 1>Morgan defeating Stephanie Vakur, which I think was expected, winning
<v Speaker 1>her the Women's World Championship, gunther defeating Seth which was
<v Speaker 1>obviously a massive win for Gunthera, but obviously there was
<v Speaker 1>massive interference and help from outside. Becky Lynch defeating aj Lee,
<v Speaker 1>which again I think was to be expected. Elle Knight
<v Speaker 1>and So defeating the Little Gang from Logan Paul's team,
<v Speaker 1>which was very celebrity heavy, very typical old school mainly
<v Speaker 1>a type of match. And then we got Jacob Fattu
<v Speaker 1>defeating Drew McIntyre in the unsanctioned match. We got our
<v Speaker 1>returns from Page and bron Breaker, which was brilliant. We
<v Speaker 1>had a return of sorts from Bianca bell Air, but
<v Speaker 1>not the kind we were expecting. She announced that she's
<v Speaker 1>pregnant and massive congratulations to her. Now I liked it,
<v Speaker 1>which I think I'm probably a lone voice for. I
<v Speaker 1>gave it a seven point five out of ten, and
<v Speaker 1>then Night two one. Night two was generally considered to
<v Speaker 1>be much better and it was better received. I think
<v Speaker 1>the flow was better. We had Roman Reigns defeating Seam Punk,
<v Speaker 1>which for me is gutting He's won the World Heavyweight Championship.
<v Speaker 1>It was a clean match, no interference to speak of.
<v Speaker 1>And then our other key results we had Rea thank
<v Speaker 1>God defeating Jake Cargill, Trick Williams defeating Sammy zay Over
<v Speaker 1>defeating brock Lesner, and what looked like it might be
<v Speaker 1>brock Lesnar's retirement, and we got Finnbala as the Demon
<v Speaker 1>defeating Dominic Mysterio. Penter retained the Intercontinental title in what
<v Speaker 1>was an absolutely chaotic and show stealing ladder match. As
<v Speaker 1>I said, it looks like we've got the end of
<v Speaker 1>brock Lesner's career. Trick Williams had a definite breakout moment,
<v Speaker 1>and as I said, this night definitely got stronger crowd reactions.
<v Speaker 1>There was a bigger attendance. I think it was fifty
<v Speaker 1>five thousand. The night before was fifty and the pacing
<v Speaker 1>felt very good. I'm gutted the Punk lost. You all
<v Speaker 1>know I do not want to see another Roman absence run.
<v Speaker 1>For me, I gave this the same score as Night one,
<v Speaker 1>seven point five. I think I'm basically alone with rating
<v Speaker 1>the two nights the same, but that's how I felt
<v Speaker 1>it all went down. And last word on Mania, let's
<v Speaker 1>hope that's the last we see or here from McAfee
<v Speaker 1>on WWE TV at all period. Now, one other thing
<v Speaker 1>which is breaking and developing and has been all night
<v Speaker 1>before SmackDown came on air tonight. We got what has
<v Speaker 1>become an unwanted and sad tradition, and that's the Postmute
<v Speaker 1>Mania release and some really really surprising ones here for me, definitely,
<v Speaker 1>so far this round of releases, we have lost the
<v Speaker 1>whole of the Whya at six. This is surprising for
<v Speaker 1>me at least. They had only just been in a
<v Speaker 1>feud with the MFTs, and although maybe they had lost
<v Speaker 1>direction a bit, they were, in my opinion, still a
<v Speaker 1>really great faction and seemed to be very over with
<v Speaker 1>the crowd. We've also lost Selena and Alistair Black. This
<v Speaker 1>one not surprised massively. Black has been floundering somewhat directionless
<v Speaker 1>since he came back, and attaching him with Selena didn't
<v Speaker 1>seem to help at all. Prize for me at least
<v Speaker 1>is the departure of Kyrie saying again recently on TV
<v Speaker 1>and featuring quite prominently with Aska the most machine guns
<v Speaker 1>have gone again not a massive surprise. They seem directionless
<v Speaker 1>with no good story recently for me a real shame
<v Speaker 1>as I thought these two had real talent, real athleticism,
<v Speaker 1>and bought something very different to the division. We've also
<v Speaker 1>lost Zoey Stark, who's been out for about a year
<v Speaker 1>with an injury, but allegedly had recently been cleared for action.
<v Speaker 1>We've lost at albat Fire, leaving Chelsea without her secret hervis.
<v Speaker 1>So wondering what they're going to do with Chelsea now.
<v Speaker 1>She's obviously been out for a month or so with
<v Speaker 1>an injury as well, so hopefully she can work her
<v Speaker 1>way back, perhaps a small character rejig and get her
<v Speaker 1>back into the picture. And then finally Santos Escobar, but
<v Speaker 1>at the moment, as far as I can see, los
<v Speaker 1>Garza still seemed to be on the roster. Always horrible
<v Speaker 1>for people to lose their jobs. Some have posted quite
<v Speaker 1>sweet goodbye, for example Nikki Krost's very humble thanking everyone involved,
<v Speaker 1>and then Zelena who took the opportunity to have a
<v Speaker 1>massive pop at SRS, which I think is you know,
<v Speaker 1>not at all fair if you were. If you've got
<v Speaker 1>the information, obviously, and that's your business, you're going to
<v Speaker 1>put it out there. So I think an unfair swipe
<v Speaker 1>from Zelena, but obviously she is quite salty at being
<v Speaker 1>let go. But for me to be honest, it's probably
<v Speaker 1>time for Zelina to move on. Anyway. Two big stories
<v Speaker 1>to talk of outside of SmackDown, and as always the
<v Speaker 1>particularly with the releases, they do seem to drip them
<v Speaker 1>throughout a couple of days, so there may be there
<v Speaker 1>may be more people being let go. Anyway, let's get
<v Speaker 1>to it and review the SmackDown the a twenty fourth
<v Speaker 1>of April from Fort Worth, Texas, and of course we
<v Speaker 1>start with a recap from Mania, and then we go
<v Speaker 1>to our arrivals. We've got Cody looking pretty beat up
<v Speaker 1>and Joe tells us the punk kick he received has
<v Speaker 1>left everyone questioning his future. There's been a bunch of
<v Speaker 1>speculation online and on podcast this week that Cody might
<v Speaker 1>be in a position of relinquishing the title because his
<v Speaker 1>injury is genuine. I really hope not, but let's see.
<v Speaker 1>We then get Rea arriving, who thankfully is our new
<v Speaker 1>champion after dethroning Jade. We then got little Yochti and Trick.
<v Speaker 1>Apparently these two are on official double at now they've
<v Speaker 1>got the gingerbread man with them still, and we get
<v Speaker 1>Dan Howsen. He comes up in his weird coffin shake
<v Speaker 1>car side notes though apparently his merch has exceeded all
<v Speaker 1>records over the Mania weekend. First out for the action tonight,
<v Speaker 1>we've got Fatu after beating Drew in the unsanctioned match,
<v Speaker 1>and let's see what he has to say, what's next
<v Speaker 1>for him? After he challenged on raw. He says that
<v Speaker 1>on Monday he told Roman that he wanted him. He
<v Speaker 1>said he didn't want the title, he needed it. He
<v Speaker 1>says he looked him in the eye and he told
<v Speaker 1>him that he wasn't ready. He says, that's the truth.
<v Speaker 1>He's right, He's never been ready and he has heard
<v Speaker 1>it his whole life. He goes up close to the
<v Speaker 1>camera and he tells Roman to step into the ring
<v Speaker 1>and prove to him he isn't ready. And with that
<v Speaker 1>we get the usos out and they seem to have
<v Speaker 1>now fully reprised their roles as Roman's sidekicks, which is
<v Speaker 1>a massive shame, but we can circle back to that
<v Speaker 1>at the end of this segment. There's no yeating, just
<v Speaker 1>moody looking usos, and I personally wonder how long they
<v Speaker 1>will stay over without the yeating, which is by far
<v Speaker 1>the most popular thing about either of the USO's. Jimmy
<v Speaker 1>says they heard what he says and how he wants
<v Speaker 1>to level up. Jimmy says that Cody is there for
<v Speaker 1>the taking and he should take it to him, but
<v Speaker 1>what he shouldn't do is come for the OTC. Jimmy
<v Speaker 1>tells him to join the family and run the play
<v Speaker 1>with them. The crowd are to in fatou They seem
<v Speaker 1>to want him to head straight towards Roman, and the
<v Speaker 1>USOS then firmly turn on the crowd, calling them idiots.
<v Speaker 1>Jay says it's too late. He says, you stepped up
<v Speaker 1>and opened your mouth. You're in the deep end. Ja says,
<v Speaker 1>you want respect from Roman, you have to walk right
<v Speaker 1>up to him, look him in the eye, and get
<v Speaker 1>ready for war. We now get the Solo out with
<v Speaker 1>his MFTs. Solo tells Jacob, are you hearing this? Don't
<v Speaker 1>listen to what those two are saying. They're lying. He says,
<v Speaker 1>where were they when no one wanted you. He says,
<v Speaker 1>it was me who brought you back to WWE. He
<v Speaker 1>asks what the USOS are going to teach Fatoo, which
<v Speaker 1>is a great point. He seems to have far exceeded
<v Speaker 1>their level already. Solo tells Fatoo not to listen to them,
<v Speaker 1>and if he wants to beat Roman and be champion,
<v Speaker 1>he can do that for him. He says he won't
<v Speaker 1>be alone. He says he needs an army, and he's
<v Speaker 1>got an army. Tama grabs the mic off Solo and
<v Speaker 1>asks why we're out here wasting our time with this.
<v Speaker 1>Tama tells Solo, you think Jacob will beat Roman when
<v Speaker 1>he can't even beat you. Fatuu then delivers Tamatonga a
<v Speaker 1>massive kick and the rest of the m fts are
<v Speaker 1>held back by Solo. Fatou says the only one who
<v Speaker 1>should be talking is Roman, but he says he can
<v Speaker 1>beat Solo tonight and the match gets set. So let's
<v Speaker 1>break down this opening segment. First of all, why and
<v Speaker 1>how do we have the USOS back to the blunderline
<v Speaker 1>days just like that? I mean, I know why. In
<v Speaker 1>practical terms, we have a part time Roman champion situation,
<v Speaker 1>so we need the supporting cast to step up again
<v Speaker 1>and do all the heavy lifting in terms of store line.
<v Speaker 1>So inexplicably the usos go from over tag team to
<v Speaker 1>sidekicks in the course of a week. As I said,
<v Speaker 1>I question how long they will remain fan favorites if
<v Speaker 1>they drop the eating entrance, as that's what's really over
<v Speaker 1>here into solo. Well, I guess this is solid enough
<v Speaker 1>and was one good way to continue to make Fatuu
<v Speaker 1>look strong, although he didn't really need it. He beat
<v Speaker 1>Drew down in a very brutal match. But we are
<v Speaker 1>clearly taking the family angle again and all the gang
<v Speaker 1>is back together to carry Roman's latest title run annoying much. However,
<v Speaker 1>Roman did say on the WrestleMania Night to post show
<v Speaker 1>that he was back for the summer. I guess that
<v Speaker 1>means he'll be appearing sporadically between now and SummerSlam, and
<v Speaker 1>hopefully we'll see him drop the title at Summer Slam.
<v Speaker 1>I certainly have no interest in another super long Roman run.
<v Speaker 1>And do you know what, it just isn't the same
<v Speaker 1>without it all being led by Hayman. We go to
<v Speaker 1>Kathy backstage. He's got Kiana and Julia looking a bit
<v Speaker 1>salty with each other. She asked Julia if she feels
<v Speaker 1>the pressure. Julia and Keana say they both feel disrespected
<v Speaker 1>they weren't on Mania. Julia says she will beat Tiffy later.
<v Speaker 1>Keiana then turns on Kaffe says the only bicker when
<v Speaker 1>she's around Trouble in Paradise is being pushed very hard here.
<v Speaker 1>We now have that woman's US title match, so it's
<v Speaker 1>Tiffy versus Julia and how much would we like to
<v Speaker 1>see a Tiffy win here? Yes? Please? I'm not sure
<v Speaker 1>what kind of match we're going to see here. Clearly
<v Speaker 1>there's issues being pushed between Keiana and Julia, so maybe
<v Speaker 1>that will play into things. Let's see this one kicks
<v Speaker 1>off and Wade reminding us that the last time Keana
<v Speaker 1>got involved getting the win for Julia, and we've got
<v Speaker 1>Tiffy showing off her gymnastic ability in the early goings,
<v Speaker 1>and there are some quick fire pin attempts for both women.
<v Speaker 1>The match is quite a nice one that it finishes
<v Speaker 1>off as Julia landsay out of a dirty kick and
<v Speaker 1>the Northern Lights, which Tiffy counters and manages to hit
<v Speaker 1>the prettiest Moonsalt and wins the title, which is incredibly satisfying,
<v Speaker 1>and as Keana looks on from her failed Shenanigan's ring side,
<v Speaker 1>We've got a new champ and let's hope and pray
<v Speaker 1>they do a great job with this title run. For Tiffy,
<v Speaker 1>I am optimistic, very happy to see her as champ,
<v Speaker 1>and now we await the inevitable split and subsequent matches
<v Speaker 1>between Kean and Julia, which actually, you know, might be okay.
<v Speaker 1>We then get a bit between Dan haws And and Meeres.
<v Speaker 1>Dan Hausen is in his house and Paul I have
<v Speaker 1>to say Dan Howsen might be growing on me a bit.
<v Speaker 1>Next out, we have our new women to tag champs,
<v Speaker 1>Brie and Paige, and I can't tell you how happy
<v Speaker 1>I am to see Paige back home in WWE. Brie
<v Speaker 1>says it does feel incredible to be standing here as champion.
<v Speaker 1>She says that Mania was really special. She's happy she
<v Speaker 1>could count on Page as a friend and as a sister.
<v Speaker 1>She welcomes her back and gets a huge pop of
<v Speaker 1>the crowd also chanting welcome back. Paige asked if they
<v Speaker 1>missed her, says she's lost her voice, but what a week.
<v Speaker 1>She says. When she got the call to be at Mania,
<v Speaker 1>she says, what a time to be home and walk
<v Speaker 1>out of Mania as champs. She says it was a
<v Speaker 1>rough road to get here, but she's so happy to
<v Speaker 1>be home. She says they were in the ring at
<v Speaker 1>Mania with some of the best competitors in the locker room,
<v Speaker 1>but she wants to remind them all on SmackDown that
<v Speaker 1>this is her house and her and Brie aren't going anywhere.
<v Speaker 1>Q Scherlexa who come out to a great poppers always.
<v Speaker 1>Flair says, it's good to see you back, and Bliss agrees,
<v Speaker 1>but they have something they want. Blis says they've worked
<v Speaker 1>for months to get those titles. Flair says, if you
<v Speaker 1>want to prove this is your house, they should face
<v Speaker 1>Bliss and Flare, which the crowd seem very up for,
<v Speaker 1>and they agree to the match tonight and it's on,
<v Speaker 1>so it should be very interesting. As you come back
<v Speaker 1>from the break. We are randomly already underway with this match.
<v Speaker 1>We've got Brian with Bliss and everyone is preventing the
<v Speaker 1>tag to page. When she get tagged in, we are
<v Speaker 1>going to have a massive pop the crowd of cheering.
<v Speaker 1>They just want to see paid for Wressel. Just as
<v Speaker 1>Page is about to get tagged in, we have JC
<v Speaker 1>Jane attack Page and then Fate Influencer here and take
<v Speaker 1>out all of the women in this match, and wow,
<v Speaker 1>they look impressive as hell. They leave these four legends
<v Speaker 1>superstars laying in the ring and they are here. I'm
<v Speaker 1>guessing it's a call up. I don't hate that at all.
<v Speaker 1>In fact, I think it's awesome. So obviously adqu finished.
<v Speaker 1>We never got to see Page, which was frustrating for
<v Speaker 1>both the TV audience and I'm sure the crowd live
<v Speaker 1>in Texas. But what an interest in development. The season
<v Speaker 1>performers doing a great job getting these call ups from
<v Speaker 1>the next tea over, I guess watch this space. Next out,
<v Speaker 1>we have Cody and I am praying please do not
<v Speaker 1>relinquish that title. Cody, he gets a slightly mixed reaction,
<v Speaker 1>but I would say more cheering than heat. He says
<v Speaker 1>he wants to talk about how he left Mania battered,
<v Speaker 1>half conscious and bloody, but he still walked up the ramp.
<v Speaker 1>He says he feels that's the job of the champion,
<v Speaker 1>and he says his superpower is to always get back up.
<v Speaker 1>He says this run by which I think he means
<v Speaker 1>his run in WWE started four years ago at Mania,
<v Speaker 1>and he wanted to send a message. He knew that
<v Speaker 1>when he left Mania this year he wasn't going to
<v Speaker 1>be medically cleared, but he wanted to let Randy know,
<v Speaker 1>who incidentally is not here tonight, that even after Randy's
<v Speaker 1>best shot after the bell, he is still here. He
<v Speaker 1>also wanted to send a message, a message to Sammy,
<v Speaker 1>who was very condescending to him, calling a golden boy,
<v Speaker 1>and he wanted to let Sammy know that his outfit
<v Speaker 1>of Mania are being all gold. Was a snide nod
<v Speaker 1>to that, saying that everyone close to Cody will remain
<v Speaker 1>to be gold. And then the main message to the
<v Speaker 1>outside forces, So I'm getting TKO, the rock Zena, etc.
<v Speaker 1>Who keep trying to undermine him, send your best or
<v Speaker 1>count your money and mind your business, which was brilliant
<v Speaker 1>the crowd. I love that he says he's easy to
<v Speaker 1>find whoever you are, and wherever you are, I'm here
<v Speaker 1>as Champ, easy to find, hard to beat. This was
<v Speaker 1>a great promote from Cody, really good sending a message
<v Speaker 1>to whoever wants some now no immediate cups who the
<v Speaker 1>next few'd might be with. But it's okay, we don't
<v Speaker 1>need the answers on night one. Let's let's let it
<v Speaker 1>sit and build just a massive relief that at the moment,
<v Speaker 1>at least doesn't seem to be that Cody's medical condition
<v Speaker 1>is enough to make him relinquish the title, So keeping
<v Speaker 1>everything cross that he can recover and continue his title run.
<v Speaker 1>When are we going to see Randy again? Who knows?
<v Speaker 1>I guess maybe he might take a bit of time off,
<v Speaker 1>maybe come back with a slightly different character. I do
<v Speaker 1>wonder if we're going to get any further explanations from
<v Speaker 1>Randy why he chose to listen to McFee and also
<v Speaker 1>why then he chose to suddenly not listen to McAfee
<v Speaker 1>and RKO him at Mania. But let's see. We go
<v Speaker 1>backstage now to the MFTs and Solo is telling them
<v Speaker 1>that tonight is simple. He says he wants the tag
<v Speaker 1>titles back, and he warns him not to mess it up.
<v Speaker 1>He says, tonight he's going to show Fatis a lesson
<v Speaker 1>that he can't beat Roman without them. Next out, we've
<v Speaker 1>got Priest and Truth versus the MFTs. So the tag
<v Speaker 1>titles and the m FTS here represented by J. C.
<v Speaker 1>Matteya and the Wanta Way Tamatonga. We start off with
<v Speaker 1>Truth in with Tama and Truth is getting pretty beat up,
<v Speaker 1>but in Truth fashion, he makes a good comeback and
<v Speaker 1>this one doesn't last long as tamahead butts the ring.
<v Speaker 1>Post Truth and Priest hit rise up and retain the titles,
<v Speaker 1>which continues to be surprising, however pretty cool. The falling
<v Speaker 1>a part of the MFTs seems to continue. Solo is
<v Speaker 1>going to be mad as hell that they were unable
<v Speaker 1>to get the titles back off Priest and Truth. I've
<v Speaker 1>got to say I don't mind this partnership at all.
<v Speaker 1>It's fun and it's a good twist on the men's
<v Speaker 1>tag title scene. Next out, almost immediately, we've got the
<v Speaker 1>celebration of Trick Williams. He's still got little Yochty in
<v Speaker 1>toe along with the gingerbread Man. Trick says that people
<v Speaker 1>are excited to celebrate with him as a new champion.
<v Speaker 1>He says at Mania they were all there. They weren't
<v Speaker 1>there to gamble or drink. They were here to whip
<v Speaker 1>that trick little yacht. He says that he's here to
<v Speaker 1>stay post Mania and they say they run SmackDown Little Yacht.
<v Speaker 1>He says they're doing away with the open challenge. He
<v Speaker 1>says Trick is the opportunity and they aren't giving away
<v Speaker 1>three opportunities anymore. So I've expected that open Challenge is
<v Speaker 1>no more, but I think that's okay. It doesn't fit
<v Speaker 1>with a heel gimmick, really, And just as we're about
<v Speaker 1>to end the segment, the gingerbread Man turns on Trick
<v Speaker 1>and Little YACHTI walloping them with his candy cane. And
<v Speaker 1>here was me just thinking briefly that the gingerbread Man
<v Speaker 1>would be someone called like maybe Ko, but no, it's
<v Speaker 1>just Sammy and the crowd hate it. He is managed
<v Speaker 1>to get himself some mega heat, getting told in no
<v Speaker 1>uncertain terms that he sucks. So for me, I think
<v Speaker 1>the segment was a bit disappointing. I guess we're going
<v Speaker 1>to carry on with Sammy versus Trick, and Sammy looks
<v Speaker 1>really pleased with himself, but I don't like it. I
<v Speaker 1>would like to see Trick go on and face a
<v Speaker 1>new cohort of people. Kafi has Royce Keys backstage and
<v Speaker 1>asks him what he's win in the job. A battle
<v Speaker 1>Royal meant to him. He says the last few weeks
<v Speaker 1>has been emotional, but he says he's just getting started
<v Speaker 1>and that he takes everything he wants. Randomly, we get
<v Speaker 1>Solo arriving and tell him Royce that he can join
<v Speaker 1>the NFTs if he wants. I don't see that happening.
<v Speaker 1>Next up, we've got Dan Housen versus the Mis, but honestly,
<v Speaker 1>Dan Housen is so over it's crazy. Mis has kicked
<v Speaker 1>with him, starts off strong, but dan Housen pulls off
<v Speaker 1>an undertaker sit up, cursing Mis behind him back, getting
<v Speaker 1>a roll up victory for the quick win. I think
<v Speaker 1>that match lasted about two or three minutes. Okay, so
<v Speaker 1>on one over, I'll admit I am completely here for
<v Speaker 1>Dan Housen in a surprise in three sixty for myself. Postmatch,
<v Speaker 1>we get me as chasing Dan Housen as Wade says
<v Speaker 1>Benny Hill style round the ring. Dan Housen escapes underneath
<v Speaker 1>and takes his little wacky Races car out of the stadium.
<v Speaker 1>We get a promo for the glamor Blake Monroe. Apparently
<v Speaker 1>she's beauty, she's grace, she'll punch you in the face.
<v Speaker 1>Now that's a line I can very much get on
<v Speaker 1>board with. I absolutely love that. I don't know much,
<v Speaker 1>if anything about Blake Monroe. I've heard some of the hype.
<v Speaker 1>I do know that she's very highly thought of and

<v Speaker 1>take it. We then get fatal Influence out again. Jac says,

<v Speaker 1>absolutely nuclear on these three. You can barely hear her.
<v Speaker 1>She says she's waited long enough to get here. She
<v Speaker 1>tries to shut the crowd up. She says she'll be
<v Speaker 1>the first to give her credit for a big win
<v Speaker 1>at Mania, and the crowd are I mean, this is
<v Speaker 1>dom level. When he first turned heel. You can barely
<v Speaker 1>hear Fatal Attraction over the level of booing. She says
<v Speaker 1>that everyone wants to know who credit goes to for
<v Speaker 1>taking out the precious legends early on, and that's Fatal Influence.
<v Speaker 1>Ria says taking out that many legends is quite impressive,
<v Speaker 1>but she says her advice to stop while they're ahead.
<v Speaker 1>They say what we did to them is nothing compared
<v Speaker 1>to what we're about to do to you. Ria says, wow,
<v Speaker 1>she thought Jade was cocky. She's used in the numbers
<v Speaker 1>game and it doesn't matter. So if they want to fight,
<v Speaker 1>she's ready. JC says, Fatal Influence are always ready to
<v Speaker 1>throw hands. We then get Nick out and he tells
<v Speaker 1>JC her punishment for what they did earlier is facing
<v Speaker 1>me at one on one, and that much happens right now,
<v Speaker 1>and that's interesting. The heat these guys have got instantly
<v Speaker 1>is super impressive, and the crowd seem to legit hate them,
<v Speaker 1>which is great. I mean, you come up to the
<v Speaker 1>main roster, you take out four of some of the
<v Speaker 1>best loved legends on the women's roster. You then come
<v Speaker 1>out and ruin mummies celebration again, probably the most over
<v Speaker 1>over superstar on the roster man or woman at the moment.
<v Speaker 1>Look at the reaction to them, and look at the
<v Speaker 1>reaction to Nira and Lash. It's like chalk and cheese
<v Speaker 1>and it happened in a flash. Tonight, Faith restored in
<v Speaker 1>WWE storyline and we kick off. We have the other
<v Speaker 1>two members of Fatal Influenc Ringside and Rear making her
<v Speaker 1>power show right off the bat. Ria are about to
<v Speaker 1>go up top, which we don't often see. She's not
<v Speaker 1>down by j C. J. We get Ria hitting the
<v Speaker 1>razor's edge and almost gets the win, but Jason kicks
<v Speaker 1>out and this is actually a great match with JC
<v Speaker 1>being made to look absolutely epic. Here. Ria is about
<v Speaker 1>to hit Riptide and we think we know the rest
<v Speaker 1>of the story, but before she can hit it, the
<v Speaker 1>other two members of Fatal Influence get involved, taking out
<v Speaker 1>we as knee ending in the DQ finish and a
<v Speaker 1>massive beatdown for Rea. Wow, what a debut from these girls.
<v Speaker 1>They are made to look super strong, clearing house all
<v Speaker 1>night against the top talent that SmackDown has to offer.
<v Speaker 1>We then get Rea backstage in a medical room with
<v Speaker 1>Flair and Bliss. She says to Flair, do we have
<v Speaker 1>a problem, but says yeah, fatal influence and Flair tells
<v Speaker 1>she'll get our hands on JCJ next week. This is
<v Speaker 1>really fun. I am absolutely loving this. What a score.
<v Speaker 1>Next up our main event, Fatoo versus Solo, and again
<v Speaker 1>this could be great. I am fully expecting Fatu to
<v Speaker 1>half kill Solo, especially after Mania, and given how over
<v Speaker 1>Fatu actually is, I can't see any other result. And
<v Speaker 1>we start off very much in that way with Fatuu
<v Speaker 1>showing Solo what's what. We get plenty of against from
<v Speaker 1>the MF two's ring slowed, who play at distracting the
<v Speaker 1>ref and causing chaos. We also have the USOS lingering
<v Speaker 1>on the ramp, which is like some very weird battle
<v Speaker 1>for the soul of Jacob Fatu. Fatuu, though, does pick
<v Speaker 1>up the win here with his Mighty Moon Salt, which
<v Speaker 1>is awesome, and he continues to look great. Inevitably, at
<v Speaker 1>the end we get a full on attack from the
<v Speaker 1>remaining m fts. This brings the USOS down to the
<v Speaker 1>ring finally, but Fatu does not need them. He beats
<v Speaker 1>down the m fts no help needed with some running
<v Speaker 1>hip attacks in each corner, with the MFTs with chairs
<v Speaker 1>around their necks which looked absolutely brutal, and he basically
<v Speaker 1>takes them all out, absolutely no trouble at all. We
<v Speaker 1>go off air with Fatu looking so strong, taking out
<v Speaker 1>all the m fts and the wind versus Solo. It
<v Speaker 1>looks like Roman can't hide from Fatu and that this
<v Speaker 1>is certainly going to happen, and I am very much
<v Speaker 1>here for it. I would love to see Fatu take
<v Speaker 1>that belt off Roman. I mean, if it could happen
<v Speaker 1>at Backlash, that would be awesome, but obviously it's not
<v Speaker 1>going to. Romans said, He's here all summer, which means
<v Speaker 1>I'm guessing he's going to drop the belt at Summer Slam.
<v Speaker 1>So let's see how this how this all plays out? Listen.
<v Speaker 1>I thought this was actually a great show, a good
<v Speaker 1>follow up to Mania, and some good new storylines, call ups,
<v Speaker 1>call ups to calm and progression. I thought we have left. Honestly,
<v Speaker 1>the only thing I'm not crazy about in the whole
<v Speaker 1>picture is Trick and Sammy carrying on. Everything else is
<v Speaker 1>a win. I'd love to know what you guys thought,
<v Speaker 1>but personally I thought SmackDown after Mania beat the pants
<v Speaker 1>off of Raw after Mania this year, and I don't
<v Speaker 1>think either have been particularly strong over past years, so
<v Speaker 1>let's hope that we are onwards and upwards as we
<v Speaker 1>go into Guess I Guess what is quote unquote the
<v Speaker 1>new season of WWE. So for me, all looking pretty good.
