BIGFOOT EYE SIGHTING ENCOUNTER IN THE KAIBAB NATIONAL FOREST (MOGOLLON RIM) THE RED GLOWING EYES!

<v Speaker 1>this episode, we have Adrian and he had a terrifying
<v Speaker 1>bigfoot encounter in the Kaibab National Forest in Arizona. Adrian
<v Speaker 1>was camping with his family and later on that night
<v Speaker 1>he noticed these glowing eyes in the forest and then
<v Speaker 1>that's when he saw the creature standing there. Later on
<v Speaker 1>after the encounter, he could hear the creatures vocalizing and
<v Speaker 1>I feel like they were communicating with one another, and
<v Speaker 1>there was a bigfoot clan in the area. I have
<v Speaker 1>received bigfoot reports from all over the world, and I
<v Speaker 1>have noticed that the same areas keep popping up over
<v Speaker 1>and over, which tells me that these creatures do live
<v Speaker 1>in certain areas. Maybe they do migrate, but they prefer
<v Speaker 1>to be in certain locations. But then again, if you
<v Speaker 1>go to these spots, that doesn't mean you're going to
<v Speaker 1>see bigfoot because a lot of the air were sasquatched
<v Speaker 1>are reported to be seen. They are just extremely huge.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, even here in Missouri, you could spend an
<v Speaker 1>entire lifetime looking through the ozarks and never really put
<v Speaker 1>a dent in it. But yeah, if you guys can

<v Speaker 1>that being said, let's dive straight into Adrian's Bigfoot encounter
<v Speaker 1>from the state of Arizona. Adrian, Welcome to Sasquatch Theory.
<v Speaker 1>How are you doing today.
<v Speaker 2>I'm doing good.
<v Speaker 1>Good to hear. It's a pleasure to have you on
<v Speaker 1>the show. Adrian. If you would tell me a little
<v Speaker 1>bit about yourself, and you're a bigfoot encounter from the
<v Speaker 1>very beginning.
<v Speaker 2>Sure, so. I was born in the Pacific Northwest in Washington,
<v Speaker 2>just south of Seattle. It wasn't huge outdoorsy, but living
<v Speaker 2>up there, everything's outdoorsy. We're surrounded by trees no matter what,
<v Speaker 2>and a few camping trips, hiking trips, things like that.
<v Speaker 2>I guess something notable. When you're living there, you're surrounded
<v Speaker 2>by bigfoot culture. And when you're a kid and it's
<v Speaker 2>all you've ever known, you don't notice it. You know,
<v Speaker 2>it's totem poles and carvings of bigfoot, and you know,
<v Speaker 2>we'd go up into the forest and nobody would talk
<v Speaker 2>about it. Yeah, nobody told me it was a real thing.
<v Speaker 2>Maybe they were trying not to scare me as a kid,
<v Speaker 2>but we'd go up there and we'd camp and we'd
<v Speaker 2>just have a really good time, really fond memories as
<v Speaker 2>a kid doing that in that part of the world.
<v Speaker 2>Then Mount Saint Helens blew up around nineteen eighty and
<v Speaker 2>it just covered everything in ash and that sort of
<v Speaker 2>stopped the trips to the forest for a long time.
<v Speaker 2>And shortly after that we moved to the southwest to Arizona.
<v Speaker 2>Forests are gone now it's all brown dirt. We went
<v Speaker 2>from black moist dirt to gray dust to brown clay.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know, as a kid you remember those kind
<v Speaker 2>of details. I guess. Anyway, grew up in the Phoenix
<v Speaker 2>area after that and just sort of longed for this,
<v Speaker 2>you know, nice green, lush forest again. And got through school,
<v Speaker 2>finished high school, and got the opportunity to go to
<v Speaker 2>college up in the mountains, and I jumped on that.
<v Speaker 2>So went up went to college back in the forest.
<v Speaker 2>To full advantage of that. Friends, girlfriends, we were hiking
<v Speaker 2>and camping every chance we got, even when it was
<v Speaker 2>snowing outside. And then I'd say, you know, we got
<v Speaker 2>I got married. I found somebody in college, and we
<v Speaker 2>were not quite on the same page on the outdoors stuff.
<v Speaker 2>So I was way more adventurous. Loved to go out
<v Speaker 2>and just pitch a tent and have a good time
<v Speaker 2>and you know, take everything in and hike and drive
<v Speaker 2>the quads around or whatever you know we were doing.
<v Speaker 2>I used to joke that, you know, I use my
<v Speaker 2>camera like a hunter would use a rifle, but I'm
<v Speaker 2>not a hunter. So anyway, so have a few kids,
<v Speaker 2>and we finally sort of find this happy ground where
<v Speaker 2>she wanted a hard wall. I presented a camp or
<v Speaker 2>trailer or pop up and it was game on. Now
<v Speaker 2>we're camping with the kids and we're sort of back
<v Speaker 2>in the forest again. We spent a lot of time
<v Speaker 2>in Arizona, the Muggy on Rim White Mountains around Flagstaff, Arizona,
<v Speaker 2>northern north rim of the Grand Canyon. We even went
<v Speaker 2>up into Utah a few times and just had a
<v Speaker 2>great time. And that was early two thousands and then
<v Speaker 2>this happened. So I had a sighting. I guess, is
<v Speaker 2>there anything else from the background that you'd be interested
<v Speaker 2>in leading up to this?
<v Speaker 1>No, that's sufficient enough for me, And I appreciate you
<v Speaker 1>for sharing that with me, what happened the day of
<v Speaker 1>the encounter, if you would put me in your shoes
<v Speaker 1>and describe everything in full detail from the beginning to
<v Speaker 1>the end.
<v Speaker 2>So we were living in the Phoenix area and we
<v Speaker 2>were gonna go camp in the North Rim. So we're
<v Speaker 2>in the Kaibab Forest and it's a long drive, that's
<v Speaker 2>about a good five and a half hour to six
<v Speaker 2>hour drive. And I'm pretty sure I got myself food poisoned.
<v Speaker 2>Something happened on the drive up there, because when we
<v Speaker 2>get to the forest, we get get everything set up.
<v Speaker 2>You know, we had the whole family there. There was
<v Speaker 2>a couple of different campers, full full camping set up.
<v Speaker 2>We were just there to enjoy the outdoors. And that night,
<v Speaker 2>after we got settled, midnight rolls around. I'm still awake
<v Speaker 2>and I just start feeling sick, and I mean really sick.
<v Speaker 2>And I couldn't attribute it to anything other than just
<v Speaker 2>being food poisoned. I guess I have some theory that
<v Speaker 2>you know, people have shared with me that maybe it
<v Speaker 2>wasn't that, you know, maybe there was something else to this.
<v Speaker 2>But I'll get into that in a little bit. But anyway,
<v Speaker 2>we're in this pop up camper trailer. It's the middle
<v Speaker 2>of June probably you know, June tenth or fifteenth, somewhere
<v Speaker 2>in there. And I get up head around to the
<v Speaker 2>front of our vehicle. I had a little trailblazer and
<v Speaker 2>it's pitch black, middle of the night, midnight. I'm about to,
<v Speaker 2>you know, get sick, and I reach into the driver's
<v Speaker 2>side of the trailblazer and turn on the headlights. It's
<v Speaker 2>a little switch. It's computer based. I guess. The headlights
<v Speaker 2>come on. I go and stand in front of the
<v Speaker 2>vehicle kind of between the headlights, and I'm just leaning
<v Speaker 2>over and taking care of business. As you know. I
<v Speaker 2>don't want to be gross, but that was terrible. About
<v Speaker 2>don't know minute into that, I stop and I look
<v Speaker 2>up and about I would say, twenty twenty five feet
<v Speaker 2>in front of me, I see these I guess, you know,
<v Speaker 2>silver dollar sized red eyeballs that are down about two
<v Speaker 2>feet off the ground. And you know, obviously it's something
<v Speaker 2>like that's going to get your attention. I was thinking, bear,
<v Speaker 2>you know, what could this possibly be? But these eyeballs
<v Speaker 2>were so huge, like bigger than any bear you can imagine,
<v Speaker 2>and they were almost they were reflecting back the headlights
<v Speaker 2>because there's directly in front of me, and it was
<v Speaker 2>kind of like if you shine the flashlight into your
<v Speaker 2>dog's eyes or something. I could see these metallic reflecting
<v Speaker 2>red eyes, so that that red reflection was like the
<v Speaker 2>size of a silver dollar. I guess. Anyway, one eye
<v Speaker 2>slowly and you can kind of see, you know, the
<v Speaker 2>eyelids close around the eye and then it opens back up,
<v Speaker 2>and then the other eyeblink, so it's like one eyeblink
<v Speaker 2>and then the other eyeblink, and and it just made
<v Speaker 2>me more curious. I'm leaning into this trying to see
<v Speaker 2>what this thing is, and I really couldn't see anything
<v Speaker 2>except the eyes. And then this thing just stood up
<v Speaker 2>and it just kept going up. The next day, we
<v Speaker 2>looked at the tree where I was, you know, seeing this,
<v Speaker 2>and I said, that branch, you know I was pointing up,
<v Speaker 2>was you know, right at its head level. And that
<v Speaker 2>thing is easily nine feet off the ground. So part
<v Speaker 2>of this once it stood up, you know, I could
<v Speaker 2>see more of it, and again the headlights are right
<v Speaker 2>on it. But even with that, it was like a hole,
<v Speaker 2>you know, it was just a black hole that the
<v Speaker 2>creature's hair was black as black, could be no reflection
<v Speaker 2>at all, no shimmer. It was just black. And I
<v Speaker 2>could see the tree that it was standing partially behind,
<v Speaker 2>so like its left shoulder was behind the tree, and
<v Speaker 2>its head and right shoulder were you know, easily visible.
<v Speaker 2>And I could see its right leg, so right arm,
<v Speaker 2>right shoulder, right leg and head. But anyway, this was
<v Speaker 2>just unbelievably black. I couldn't see any facial features. I
<v Speaker 2>could still see the eyeballs. And this after this thing
<v Speaker 2>stood up, it was just as still as could be,
<v Speaker 2>like a statue, just stood there, like like those statues
<v Speaker 2>I saw as a kid, and I was I don't,
<v Speaker 2>I don't, I can't even tell you what I was feeling.
<v Speaker 2>Is just like what in the heck is? That is
<v Speaker 2>the sense that I was having at that moment. And
<v Speaker 2>the thing, just the way it was so still, was
<v Speaker 2>so eerie. It just stood up and just stopped moving. Anyway.
<v Speaker 2>I could easily make out the size of its arm.
<v Speaker 2>And my kids joke, you know when I tell them
<v Speaker 2>this story, that its arm is as big as my
<v Speaker 2>whole body, just the arm. When I think about it,
<v Speaker 2>I mean, I didn't think this at the moment, but
<v Speaker 2>when I look straight ahead flat. My eyes were at
<v Speaker 2>its elbow. That's how tall this thing is. I imagine like
<v Speaker 2>if you're standing in a house a standard eight foot ceiling,
<v Speaker 2>you know, its shoulder would have been pushing through the ceiling.
<v Speaker 2>If you can just imagine that, like a creature standing
<v Speaker 2>in your room where its shoulder is pushing through the
<v Speaker 2>ceiling of the room. It's just that big. It's so amazing.
<v Speaker 2>And I could see the trees behind it, so it
<v Speaker 2>literally was like a silhouette, and I could see the
<v Speaker 2>tree was standing next to I could see the ground,
<v Speaker 2>I could see little bushes, I could see the trees
<v Speaker 2>behind it. And it stands out because you know, you
<v Speaker 2>could see through the underarm, you know, like the arm
<v Speaker 2>wasn't touching its side, it was sort of out and
<v Speaker 2>I could see what was behind it through through that space.
<v Speaker 2>And again, just so weird that it was like a
<v Speaker 2>black hole silhouette with the headlights shining right on it
<v Speaker 2>like that. So anyway, I'm standing there trying to take
<v Speaker 2>this in, trying to process this feeling. The way I
<v Speaker 2>was feeling. My stomach was just turning and turning, and
<v Speaker 2>my head was pounding, and I wasn't scared at that moment,
<v Speaker 2>and then I guess the way the trailblazers' headlights work,
<v Speaker 2>they're on a timer, you know, we don't want to
<v Speaker 2>let the battery die. So I'm standing there looking at
<v Speaker 2>this giant monster creature with red reflective eyes, and those
<v Speaker 2>damn headlights just shut off, and I'm in the pitch black.
<v Speaker 2>I mean it's black. I can't see my own hands
<v Speaker 2>in front of my face. And that's when I got
<v Speaker 2>really really scared. And so at that moment, all I
<v Speaker 2>could think to do is feel my way around the vehicle,
<v Speaker 2>get back to the side where the door of the
<v Speaker 2>trailer was, and get back in that trailer and just
<v Speaker 2>sit down inside the trailer. And I couldn't move, I
<v Speaker 2>couldn't talk. I thought about waking everybody up and unhooking
<v Speaker 2>the car and just bolting out of the forest. And
<v Speaker 2>I couldn't do that. Nobody else saw it, nobody else
<v Speaker 2>knew what was going on. And I was thinking, Hey,
<v Speaker 2>this is instant divorce. We had another trailer there with
<v Speaker 2>other people, and I thought, God, the only thing I
<v Speaker 2>can do is just sit here and listen as intensely
<v Speaker 2>as I could, just to just encse this thing. Did
<v Speaker 2>anything else I would. My plan was just wake everybody
<v Speaker 2>up and you know, have a little bit of a
<v Speaker 2>hissy fit. And that's what I did. I just went
<v Speaker 2>on watch, and before I knew it, it was two o'clock
<v Speaker 2>in the morning. That's how petrified I was. I didn't
<v Speaker 2>even notice the time passing because it just that scared.
<v Speaker 2>The headlights shutting off is what scared me so bad,
<v Speaker 2>you know, I really, in the moment of seeing it,
<v Speaker 2>I wasn't afraid. It was when those damn headlights shut off.
<v Speaker 2>And then two o'clock in the morning rolls around and
<v Speaker 2>I hear a scream off in the forest is probably
<v Speaker 2>two or three hundred yards away, I'm guessing, and this
<v Speaker 2>scream was it was like a howl roar, howling roar,
<v Speaker 2>and you could hear like a whistling high pitch to it,
<v Speaker 2>a hiss to it, and then also bass, just this
<v Speaker 2>unbelievable bass. You could tell this sound was coming out
<v Speaker 2>of something huge, and it kind of had sort of
<v Speaker 2>an ooh sound to it, like like it was a
<v Speaker 2>howling ooh vowel sound, almost like if you can imagine
<v Speaker 2>an ape throwing its head back and making its little
<v Speaker 2>ooh lip shape or something. Part of that roar had
<v Speaker 2>that ooh to it, and it did it twice and
<v Speaker 2>this is like ten second long roars, two of them,
<v Speaker 2>and man, I thought I was scared when those headlights
<v Speaker 2>went off. When I heard that, it was just even worse.
<v Speaker 2>So anyway, I ended up sitting on the floor of
<v Speaker 2>that tent trailer until the sun came up, just riveted,
<v Speaker 2>like not even noticing time passing, completely freaked adrenaline rush
<v Speaker 2>the whole time. And I heard nothing else. And that's
<v Speaker 2>the sighting. That's the gist of everything that happened. The
<v Speaker 2>next day, I started to try to bring it up
<v Speaker 2>my wife, my wife's dad, and they just looked at
<v Speaker 2>me like I was nuts. They didn't hear the scream,
<v Speaker 2>you know, And I got the point really quick, like
<v Speaker 2>they don't want to talk about this. I dropped it.
<v Speaker 2>I actually said it must have been an elk or something,
<v Speaker 2>you know. But anyway, that's the story. After that, that
<v Speaker 2>was around two thousand and five. It was two thousand
<v Speaker 2>and five in June, and after you know, falling back
<v Speaker 2>in love with the forest, I couldn't go back out
<v Speaker 2>there again. I was so petrified that camera trailer sat
<v Speaker 2>in the side of the house and just got old
<v Speaker 2>until we finally found somebody to buy it. And that's
<v Speaker 2>fifteen years of just not wanting anything to do with
<v Speaker 2>the outdoors. I just sort of immersed myself in technology
<v Speaker 2>and being in the city and just not even thinking
<v Speaker 2>about it. I was so scared for so long, and
<v Speaker 2>I finally decided to, you know, give it a shot
<v Speaker 2>again and started camping again. Now we have a trailer,
<v Speaker 2>we're getting back out there. There's been a lot of
<v Speaker 2>you know, stuff that's gone into me, you know, getting
<v Speaker 2>the courage back up to be out there in the
<v Speaker 2>dark again. But that's been the recovery. You know. The
<v Speaker 2>story is is is just time. And you know, even
<v Speaker 2>to this day, I still sit out there and worry
<v Speaker 2>when we're out there. But yeah, I don't know what
<v Speaker 2>else to really share if you have any questions.
<v Speaker 1>All right, I appreciate you for sharing that with me. Adrian.
<v Speaker 1>So this encounter had a profound effect on you, and
<v Speaker 1>you haven't been back to the forest very much since then,
<v Speaker 1>or when you do go, you're terrified when.
<v Speaker 2>You're out there, that's the thing. Yeah, I'm not terrified anymore.
<v Speaker 2>And we have been back out there quite a bit
<v Speaker 2>so actually joined our our hunter safety group in our
<v Speaker 2>town and you know, started just getting to know people
<v Speaker 2>that spend a lot of time out there. And my
<v Speaker 2>thought process was it was kind of selfish and a
<v Speaker 2>little bit bad, probably, but I just I wanted to
<v Speaker 2>know if anybody else had seen anything like that. These
<v Speaker 2>are people that spend a lot of time out there
<v Speaker 2>and not one. I mean I'm talking hundreds of people
<v Speaker 2>that have gone through that, and I never ran into
<v Speaker 2>anybody that talked about it or brought it up. You know,
<v Speaker 2>when I would bring up my story, they'd be like, oh, wow,
<v Speaker 2>that's interesting and kind of give me that look like,
<v Speaker 2>you know, we don't we don't really talk about this
<v Speaker 2>kind of stuff. And that helped a lot though. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>just that motivated me to get out there. It motivated
<v Speaker 2>me to get into firearms and you know, safety and
<v Speaker 2>you know, preparedness, way way more appropriate approach to the outdoors.
<v Speaker 2>And I'd highly recommend that for anybody, not just somebody
<v Speaker 2>like me. But but that was the start of it
<v Speaker 2>and of getting back out there for me, and then
<v Speaker 2>you know, just doing it and everything is okay, and
<v Speaker 2>then doing it again and everything is okay, And that's been,
<v Speaker 2>you know, the process. I don't know what will happen
<v Speaker 2>if I see something like that again. I really don't
<v Speaker 2>want to. I don't I don't even want to acknowledge
<v Speaker 2>the thing is real. I would like to just let
<v Speaker 2>it be a bad dream. I can't imagine people that
<v Speaker 2>see something like this wanting to go see it again.
<v Speaker 2>It was just so terrifying and horrible experience, at least
<v Speaker 2>for me. And and I gotta tell you, this thing
<v Speaker 2>was not threatening. It just stood there. It was the
<v Speaker 2>imagine nation that was so horrifying. And but yeah, so
<v Speaker 2>I think I could have done a better job getting
<v Speaker 2>over it and dealing with it than I did. But
<v Speaker 2>I think i'm you know, i'd say pretty good. Now.
<v Speaker 2>We've got a pretty good routine going are as far
<v Speaker 2>as getting out there, and I just kind of view
<v Speaker 2>it positively. Again, we spend a lot of time up
<v Speaker 2>in Utah, and that forest is a lot like the
<v Speaker 2>Pacific Northwest to me, really brings it back. So I
<v Speaker 2>love that part. But man, it's it's flavored.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, absolutely. In both the areas that you mentioned, I've
<v Speaker 1>received reports from I'm not sure how to say it,
<v Speaker 1>but the Mogi on Rim and the Kaibab National Forest.
<v Speaker 1>I've had a few reports from that area and people
<v Speaker 1>that have contact to me saying that they found tracks
<v Speaker 1>or they've seen the creature there. So the fact that
<v Speaker 1>you brought both of those areas up really caught my attention.
<v Speaker 1>Is that where you saw the creature was the Kaibab Forest.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, we were on the north, the north end of
<v Speaker 2>the Grand Canyon. There's the Kaibab forest there. There's kind
<v Speaker 2>of like the North Kaibab Forest, which is more desert
<v Speaker 2>like small shrubberies, and then there's the stuff that's right
<v Speaker 2>around the north rim that's really lush, you know, green
<v Speaker 2>tall pine trees. And we were kind of in that area.
<v Speaker 2>We're at a place called Mile and a half Lake,
<v Speaker 2>just south of a little you know, uh I want,
<v Speaker 2>I don't want to call it a town, but it's
<v Speaker 2>more like a gas station place called Jacob Lake. But yeah,
<v Speaker 2>that's where it was about two or three weeks after
<v Speaker 2>this happened to me where I saw this, That whole
<v Speaker 2>part of the forest burned down. It was in two
<v Speaker 2>thousand and five. It was one of the largest four
<v Speaker 2>rist fires in the Kaibab ever, really and and I
<v Speaker 2>always thought, yeah, they probably burned that down to flush
<v Speaker 2>those guys out. Yeah, there's just a weird coincidence that
<v Speaker 2>that that fire happened, you know, a couple of weeks
<v Speaker 2>after I was there and saw this.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that is a coincidence. So you saw these red eyeballs.
<v Speaker 1>Were they self illuminated or were they lit up from
<v Speaker 1>the headlights headlights?
<v Speaker 2>When the headlights went out, they went out, it was
<v Speaker 2>just like a like a metallic red and they kind of,
<v Speaker 2>you know, they would shift colors a little bit, almost
<v Speaker 2>rainbow like, but mostly red. He's kind of red eye
<v Speaker 2>if you take a picture of somebody and get that
<v Speaker 2>red reflection.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's terrifying. And then what did the creature do
<v Speaker 1>after that? Like he got up and walked off behind
<v Speaker 1>a tree.
<v Speaker 2>No, he was perfectly still, you know, I could see
<v Speaker 2>that silhouette black hair stuff. And then the headlights went
<v Speaker 2>out and I didn't hear any footsteps, nothing except me,
<v Speaker 2>you know, trying to breathe and get myself around the
<v Speaker 2>side of that vehicle. And then the scream, like two
<v Speaker 2>hundred yards away, just this most horrifying sounding scream.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's really terrifying. I mean, I wonder what this
<v Speaker 1>creature was possibly up to and how long it was
<v Speaker 1>there watching you guys.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that gets me back to that stomach ache, because
<v Speaker 2>I've heard story. You know, you see something like this
<v Speaker 2>and you start researching, like what the heck did I see?
<v Speaker 2>You start listening to recordings, you know what did I hear?
<v Speaker 2>And I've listened to hundreds and never heard one exactly
<v Speaker 2>like what I heard. Close, but never exactly. But the
<v Speaker 2>weird thing is that stomach problem, you know, that that
<v Speaker 2>feeling sick, and something made me sick in the trailer.
<v Speaker 2>It was really bad when I was in front of
<v Speaker 2>the car. And when those headlights went off and I
<v Speaker 2>was sitting in the trailer is gone. I wasn't sick anymore.
<v Speaker 2>And I've wondered, you know, like they talk about infrasound
<v Speaker 2>and you know things like that, where something about these
<v Speaker 2>creatures where they can do things that you can't hear
<v Speaker 2>but can cause you to be nauseated. That's something I've
<v Speaker 2>always wondered about because just the way my symptoms went
<v Speaker 2>away when he left.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's a very good point. Possibly this creature used
<v Speaker 1>in for sound on you, and from what I've heard,
<v Speaker 1>it can make you sick, it can give you a headache,
<v Speaker 1>it can blur your vision. Did you experience anything like that.
<v Speaker 1>Did your vision seem like it was blurred or was
<v Speaker 1>it just you were sick too.
<v Speaker 2>It was a headache, so I was laying in bed
<v Speaker 2>feeling fine and then just whoosh, it's dizziness, headache and
<v Speaker 2>just the most excruciating nausea. I had to get up
<v Speaker 2>and get outside as fast as possible because I was
<v Speaker 2>going to lose it. And that's what brought me out.

<v Speaker 2>Not just stunned it like summoned it. So but it
<v Speaker 2>wasn't aggressive. It seemed like I surprised it almost. I
<v Speaker 2>mean when it when I first saw it, it was
<v Speaker 2>down on the ground, you know, like those those eyes
<v Speaker 2>were just two feet up off the ground. So maybe
<v Speaker 2>I turned those headlights on and it was out there
<v Speaker 2>and it just dropped you know that in my imagination.
<v Speaker 2>I imagine that's what it realized. Oh my gosh, I'm
<v Speaker 2>in the center of headlights now. But then the irony
<v Speaker 2>of that is, you know, it stood up, and I
<v Speaker 2>mean I couldn't tell you what its face looked like.
<v Speaker 2>The headlights were right on it. It was just black,
<v Speaker 2>so you know, talk about stealth. If it didn't have
<v Speaker 2>those eyeballs looking at me, I wouldn't have known it
<v Speaker 2>was there twenty feet away.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's terrifying. I can't imagine what it's like seeing
<v Speaker 1>the red eyes. And I kind of picture the Native
<v Speaker 1>Americans sitting around a fire and seeing these red eyes,
<v Speaker 1>and you know, they saw a lot of things back
<v Speaker 1>in the day because they're out there in the woods
<v Speaker 1>all the time.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, and I've heard a lot of stories. I've grown
<v Speaker 2>up completely my entire life surrounded by Native American people,
<v Speaker 2>several different tribes, and they all have the same stories.
<v Speaker 2>They all have the same stories.
<v Speaker 1>What did you hear did they talk about the Harry Man?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I've heard both sides of the story. You know,
<v Speaker 2>where some of them are, you know, telling you that
<v Speaker 2>they're a friend of the people, and the other side
<v Speaker 2>of the story is, you know, going down the road
<v Speaker 2>of skin walkers and evil spirits and stuff like that,
<v Speaker 2>and even even to the point of you know, just
<v Speaker 2>being a bad omen so. But they're always the same stories.
<v Speaker 2>It's kind of always along those lines and never ever
<v Speaker 2>questioning the reality of it, which I think is interesting.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it sounds just like the people. Yeah, it sounds
<v Speaker 1>just like the people of today. A lot of people
<v Speaker 1>are like, oh, these creatures are good. There are forest friends,
<v Speaker 1>there are neighbors, and then other people are like, they're evil,
<v Speaker 1>they're the nephelee, they'll eat you. And it was the
<v Speaker 1>same way with the Native Americans. They would say, oh,
<v Speaker 1>that's just our big brother out in the woods, and
<v Speaker 1>then others would say, they'll put you in your basket,
<v Speaker 1>take your children and your women, and they'll eat them,
<v Speaker 1>never to be seen again. So it's kind of the
<v Speaker 1>same confusion that was going on back then that's happening
<v Speaker 1>now in today's world.
<v Speaker 2>Well, if this thing wanted to eat me, it had me.
<v Speaker 2>I think my encounter was the peaceful kind, and honestly,
<v Speaker 2>my senses that I surprised it when those headlights turned on.
<v Speaker 2>You know, all the weird imagination stuff about you know,
<v Speaker 2>infra sound and all of that. I mean, yeah, all
<v Speaker 2>of those little elements were part of this. But at
<v Speaker 2>the end of the story, I sat on my you know,
<v Speaker 2>the floor of my camper trailer, perfectly safe. This thing,
<v Speaker 2>once it stood up, didn't move, didn't come towards me.
<v Speaker 2>No aggression, no growling, no sound, just just these big
<v Speaker 2>red eyes staring right at me. And they didn't blink again.
<v Speaker 2>They once the thing stood up, those eyes didn't blink
<v Speaker 2>when it was down low. They were a little bit
<v Speaker 2>of movement. Like I said, one eye blinked, then the
<v Speaker 2>other eye blinked very slowly. It wasn't like a human
<v Speaker 2>blink blink, you know. It was like a slow close
<v Speaker 2>on one eye and then a slow almost like he
<v Speaker 2>was trying to get a better look at me. And
<v Speaker 2>the headlights were blinding. But it was actually a peaceful encounter,
<v Speaker 2>you know, all things considered.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, do you think it was attracted to the campsite
<v Speaker 1>or were there like a bunch of deer there in
<v Speaker 1>the area or were there no deer? Like there was
<v Speaker 1>no signs of any wildlife. Did you notice anything like that?
<v Speaker 2>There was no wildlife anywhere the whole trip we were there.
<v Speaker 2>We didn't see anything.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's interesting. Did you go and investigate the area
<v Speaker 1>where the creature was standing the next day to see
<v Speaker 1>if you can find any tracks anything unusual or did
<v Speaker 1>you kind of just stay away from there?
<v Speaker 2>No tracks, And unfortunately the ground was just really hard,
<v Speaker 2>so and we looked everywhere where could these tracks be,
<v Speaker 2>because how can you be, you know, a nine hundred
<v Speaker 2>pound creature and not leave tracks? But there was none.
<v Speaker 2>And the main thing the next day was recreating where
<v Speaker 2>I was standing and where it was standing, and really
<v Speaker 2>taking in how big it was. That was the thing.
<v Speaker 2>The tree that it was standing next to was, you know,
<v Speaker 2>it was probably four feet wide, and this creature was
<v Speaker 2>twice as white as that. So it was just just
<v Speaker 2>a real life giant.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Absolutely, the creature that vocalized. Do you think it
<v Speaker 1>was the same creature or another one off in the distance.
<v Speaker 2>No way to know, I mean, but what are the
<v Speaker 2>odds that were there were two? I guess probably pretty
<v Speaker 2>good if they don't travel alone. But yeah, I always
<v Speaker 2>imagined it was the same same one that it was
<v Speaker 2>just squealing out there, and it was sort of like
<v Speaker 2>a that that howling scream. It sort of started at
<v Speaker 2>a lower pitch and rose up to a plateau and
<v Speaker 2>just hung there for ten seconds. And you know, it
<v Speaker 2>kind of can goes in one ear and out the
<v Speaker 2>other when I say a ten second long roar, But
<v Speaker 2>that's a long time for anything to scream like that.
<v Speaker 2>And you know, it's one thing to hear that sound
<v Speaker 2>and to hear the base in it, and to hear
<v Speaker 2>all those everything else in between those the high hiss
<v Speaker 2>all the way down to the you know, whistling all
<v Speaker 2>the way down to this base. If it was if
<v Speaker 2>it was a one second scream, that's scary. But when
<v Speaker 2>it just keeps going for ten seconds, oh my gosh. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>it really got me. It really got me. And like
<v Speaker 2>I said, I have searched and searched and searched, and
<v Speaker 2>I've never heard anything that just unloaded a sound like
<v Speaker 2>that for that long, with that much dynamic, you know,
<v Speaker 2>element to it. And I'd love to run into a
<v Speaker 2>recording like that, if you if you know of anybody
<v Speaker 2>who has one of those, I'd love it if you'd
<v Speaker 2>share it with me. It's just so I could be like, yep,
<v Speaker 2>I'm not crazy. I didn't make this up. Because that's
<v Speaker 2>something that goes through my mind all the time, you know,
<v Speaker 2>it's just so out there, and especially when you think
<v Speaker 2>about it for years, was that really what it sounded like?
<v Speaker 2>Did it really last pretense that you start questioning yourself?
<v Speaker 2>And yeah, I just have to kind of own what
<v Speaker 2>I remember of it.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I'm not sure exactly what you heard that night,
<v Speaker 1>but I would recommend listening to the Saint Louis County,
<v Speaker 1>Minnesota Bigfoot vocalizations and there's a YouTube channel and he's
<v Speaker 1>got a bunch of different recordings, so you might be
<v Speaker 1>able to find kind of what sounded like the creature
<v Speaker 1>that you heard that night. But I can only imagine
<v Speaker 1>what it was like waking up that next day and
<v Speaker 1>telling your wife or your girlfriend and her dad and
<v Speaker 1>you know, them kind of just brushing you off. I'm
<v Speaker 1>sure you felt alone, and knowing that you saw that
<v Speaker 1>creature probably terrified you for a long time, and it'll
<v Speaker 1>definitely get the gears rolling in your brain and something
<v Speaker 1>that you can't stop thinking about.
<v Speaker 2>Well, I did tell my wife the whole story, but
<v Speaker 2>when we were sitting there making breakfast that next morning,
<v Speaker 2>all I said to everybody else is did you hear
<v Speaker 2>that animals screaming in the forest at two o'clock in
<v Speaker 2>the morning and they're like, no, we didn't hear anything.
<v Speaker 2>And then my father in law looks at me like,
<v Speaker 2>don't be an idiot. You know that That was sort
<v Speaker 2>of the sort of the look I got from it,
<v Speaker 2>so I dropped it right away. I was like, oh,
<v Speaker 2>I must have been an elk. And I look at
<v Speaker 2>my wife. She's looking at me like, shut up, you know,
<v Speaker 2>don't don't talk about this, And that's been that's been
<v Speaker 2>sort of the reaction I get from almost everybody for
<v Speaker 2>twenty years is you just don't talk about this. You know,
<v Speaker 2>you sound like a nut if you tell somebody that
<v Speaker 2>that this happened, and that I think is horrible because
<v Speaker 2>it makes it harder for me to even deal with
<v Speaker 2>the fact that you know that happened and it was
<v Speaker 2>so scary.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, for sure, when you see something like this,
<v Speaker 1>you just want want to tell everyone because you know
<v Speaker 1>it's something new. You want to talk about it, kind
<v Speaker 1>of get it off your chest and kind of seek
<v Speaker 1>validation from other people who have seen these things as well.
<v Speaker 1>But you you open up to like hunters and they're
<v Speaker 1>just like, I don't know what you're talking about.
<v Speaker 2>Exactly. Yeah, And try, you know, participating in years of
<v Speaker 2>a hunter safety programs. I was. I did that for
<v Speaker 2>several years, and never once did I get a good
<v Speaker 2>story from that. Can you imagine I saw hundreds of people.
<v Speaker 2>I never once got a good story.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, no, I understand for sure.
<v Speaker 2>Whenever nice nowadays to be able to hear you know,
<v Speaker 2>especially you know channels like yours where people are opening
<v Speaker 2>up and talking and and I've got this radar. You know,
<v Speaker 2>here's somebody telling telling a story and it's like, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I don't know about that one. And then I was
<v Speaker 2>listening to your channel and there was somebody telling a
<v Speaker 2>story and I was like, ding, ding, Yes, this is
<v Speaker 2>a real one. And I think maybe my experience was
<v Speaker 2>my own, and you know, all of these stories are real,
<v Speaker 2>who knows, but it's just it was so validating. It
<v Speaker 2>was really the first time I had ever heard somebody
<v Speaker 2>tell a story that resonated like that with me. That
<v Speaker 2>it's like, oh my gosh, finally something real. So I
<v Speaker 2>appreciate that a lot.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, and I'm glad you found the channel. When you
<v Speaker 1>were living in Washington and Mount Saint Helens blew up.
<v Speaker 1>Did you ever hear any reports or anyone talk about
<v Speaker 1>Sasquatch creatures being recovered by the government when the mountain
<v Speaker 1>blew up.
<v Speaker 2>Never. Yeah, I mean I was ten twelve years old,
<v Speaker 2>and it really, like I said, I don't know if
<v Speaker 2>if it was part of the culture and they were
<v Speaker 2>just trying to keep me from you know, getting scared
<v Speaker 2>or something. But I never once was told that these
<v Speaker 2>things are real or that you know, that anything ever
<v Speaker 2>was reported about them. They were artwork, you know. It
<v Speaker 2>was like part of the environment for me, and it
<v Speaker 2>was almost just legend not reality.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's how it is. In Alaska they got totem
<v Speaker 1>poles everywhere of these primate looking creatures, and I mean
<v Speaker 1>most people have never seen one and they don't think
<v Speaker 1>twice about it. Is it the same way in Washington
<v Speaker 1>they got like totem poles of like these encryptied creatures.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah it's eagles and whales and bigfoots and some other stuff.
<v Speaker 2>But yeah, they're everywhere, and like I said, it's part
<v Speaker 2>of the environment, and when you grow up there, you
<v Speaker 2>don't think that anywhere else is any different. And that's
<v Speaker 2>how it was for me up until the point. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>I never even was even interested in looking into this stuff.
<v Speaker 2>So two thousand and five rolls around and I see
<v Speaker 2>this thing looking at me, and that's when I got interested.
<v Speaker 2>That's when I did my first Google search and said,
<v Speaker 2>what could make that sound? And holy mackerel, what is
<v Speaker 2>this nine foot tall you know, thing that has an
<v Speaker 2>arm that's as big as me.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, and what's your conclusion as to what these creatures are?
<v Speaker 2>Well, you know, I have lots of thoughts on this,
<v Speaker 2>and I'm going to share one. It's a total weird thought,
<v Speaker 2>so try not to let me sound too crazy with this.
<v Speaker 2>But it's almost like they were here first. That's the
<v Speaker 2>sense I get, And for whatever that's worth, you know,
<v Speaker 2>that's that's kind of how I feel about them.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that makes sense. These things could have been around
<v Speaker 1>before human beings, or maybe there's some type of offspring
<v Speaker 1>from humans and primates. But I don't I don't really
<v Speaker 1>know either. I've seen them before. I mean, even when
<v Speaker 1>you see these things, it's like you don't know.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, well, they're perfectly adapted and that has a lot
<v Speaker 2>of implications to it. And that's that's been sort of
<v Speaker 2>the The gist of my conclusion is you know that
<v Speaker 2>on some level, uh, we are invading on their territory,
<v Speaker 2>not the other way around. So you know, you really
<v Speaker 2>take that to the conclusions that it that it gives
<v Speaker 2>and it's a it's a wild ride.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, absolutely. So what's in this area where you are
<v Speaker 1>camping at? Are there springs, caves, elk, mule, deer, what's
<v Speaker 1>all up there?
<v Speaker 2>So as far as wildlife.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, wildlife, there's turkey, there's deer, and elk, black bear.
<v Speaker 2>I probably said that twice. Uh. Let's see, there's not
<v Speaker 2>a lot of water. It's a pretty dry forest. And
<v Speaker 2>that's why I like going up into Utah because you
<v Speaker 2>know that forest is a lot more you know, more
<v Speaker 2>vibrant in terms of water resources. So you know, there
<v Speaker 2>there's some springs and I imagine, you know, if you
<v Speaker 2>wanted to try to find one of these things, which
<v Speaker 2>I can't imagine anybody wanting to find one, but there's
<v Speaker 2>a lot of people that seem to want to Finding
<v Speaker 2>a dry forest and then finding the water sources in
<v Speaker 2>that dry forest is how to go. You know, That's
<v Speaker 2>that's how you're going to run into one of these things.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I would agree. Around here there's waterways and lakes everywhere,
<v Speaker 1>but the area you're talking about, it sounds like if
<v Speaker 1>you can find the springs the fresh water, you can
<v Speaker 1>possibly find these creatures. And I'm sure the elk will
<v Speaker 1>be around there. And I don't know what kind of
<v Speaker 1>trees grow there, but like juniper trees things like that.
<v Speaker 2>And yeah, it's tall ponderosa pine and I don't know
<v Speaker 2>the names of all the pine trees, but there's about
<v Speaker 2>three different species of large pine tree there. It's a
<v Speaker 2>pretty thick forest.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. So there's plenty of food there.
<v Speaker 2>Oh for sure. Yeah. And and on top of like
<v Speaker 2>the actual wildlife, there's also cattle up there, and you
<v Speaker 2>know other livestock that they graze up in that area too,
<v Speaker 2>So there's lots of food for one of these things.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Absolutely. Have you ever seen a UFO or had
<v Speaker 1>a paranormal experience?
<v Speaker 2>Never? Yeah, never seen anything like that. Just this is
<v Speaker 2>the one weird thing in my life. Is my wife
<v Speaker 2>deciding to marry me and bigfoot, this this little bigfoot.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah you know when you when you when you told me, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>i'd like to hear your story. I was like, well,
<v Speaker 2>it's like ten seconds long. I've been talking for a
<v Speaker 2>while now, So yeah, that's that's the one thing I'd
<v Speaker 2>love to see something like that, it'd be pretty interesting,

<v Speaker 2>scared like this for any other reason, never ever, like
<v Speaker 2>right to my core, just so scared. When those headlights
<v Speaker 2>turned off, it was game over. You know, my brain flushed.

<v Speaker 1>Yeah, you were in shock. And I mean, you should
<v Speaker 1>be privileged to be able to see one of these
<v Speaker 1>creatures because it lets you know there's a lot more
<v Speaker 1>out there on this planet than what we know about.
<v Speaker 1>And yeah, I thought it was funny you said that
<v Speaker 1>the strangest thing that's ever happened to you is your
<v Speaker 1>wife wanting to marry you and seeing this creature. Yeah, okay,
<v Speaker 1>Well did you end up going back to that area
<v Speaker 1>and camping in that exact spot?
<v Speaker 2>Exact spot that was kind of one of the first
<v Speaker 2>trips back out as I went right back to that
<v Speaker 2>exact spot, and I just it was like peeling off
<v Speaker 2>a scab, you know. I fought through it. Everything was fine.
<v Speaker 2>We did it again, did it again, And now I
<v Speaker 2>really don't hesitate to head on out, but I tell
<v Speaker 2>you what, you know, if I'm awake in the middle
<v Speaker 2>of the night out there, you know what I'm thinking about.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, absolutely, you're on high alert. Do you have
<v Speaker 1>a dog that you take with you?
<v Speaker 2>Two Great danes. It's funny you ask that, because that's
<v Speaker 2>part of me getting back out there is having having
<v Speaker 2>the dogs.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, they'll be the guards of the camp and they'll
<v Speaker 1>alert you if these things are around. They'll be able
<v Speaker 1>to pick up on the activity well before you do,
<v Speaker 1>especially like how you said the creature didn't make a
<v Speaker 1>sound whenever it moved. The dogs they'll be able to
<v Speaker 1>hear that.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's that's the hope, you know, And that's part
<v Speaker 2>of me. You know. Now we have a r V.
<v Speaker 2>You know, it has hard walls, and we have the dogs,
<v Speaker 2>and and we go into areas where there's a lot
<v Speaker 2>of people for the most part, you know, we're not
<v Speaker 2>out in the deep forest. And that's part of being
<v Speaker 2>able to be back out there. And you know, just
<v Speaker 2>a lot of the training that I've had with all
<v Speaker 2>the years of hundred safety stuff has helped so much.
<v Speaker 2>And I can't recommend that enough to get out there
<v Speaker 2>and really you know, learn about the environment, learn about
<v Speaker 2>the wildlife, learn about you know what the laws are
<v Speaker 2>for the different things, and just that exposure really helped me.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Absolutely. When you were ten years old and Mount
<v Speaker 1>Saint Helens blew up, could you hear it where you
<v Speaker 1>were at?
<v Speaker 2>No. No, it was just a big gray, rolling cloud
<v Speaker 2>coming through the sky and I thought it was snowing,
<v Speaker 2>and it wasn't snow and it didn't melt, and all
<v Speaker 2>that lush black dirt turned into gray poofy powder and
<v Speaker 2>you know, they were using snowplows to pile it up
<v Speaker 2>on the side of the road and those piles are
<v Speaker 2>still there today. Wow.
<v Speaker 1>That's incredible. I mean the destruction, the magnitude of it.
<v Speaker 1>I can imagine what it would be like if Yellowstone
<v Speaker 1>blew up.
<v Speaker 2>Oh man, Yeah, it would make a mark on everything. Definitely. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>It changed that whole area, completely changed that whole area.
<v Speaker 2>I mean it's it's recovered almost completely now, but you
<v Speaker 2>dig down two inches and you're in the You're in
<v Speaker 2>the ash everywhere you go.

<v Speaker 1>you guys apart. But that's not what happened. And it
<v Speaker 1>sounds like it's not. Yeah, it just sounds like they
<v Speaker 1>were observing you guys. They were curious, and they kind
<v Speaker 1>of let you know that they were in the area.

<v Speaker 1>into your area. So it's the same way with the sasquatch.

<v Speaker 1>then again, you could camp out in the woods your

<v Speaker 1>could travel down south and be in the desert and
<v Speaker 1>it's a completely different world. But yeah, it sucks that
<v Speaker 1>Adrian was the only one that experienced this, and that
<v Speaker 1>does put him in a tough situation because he's out
<v Speaker 1>there camping with his wife and her father is there
<v Speaker 1>and he didn't hear it, So I can definitely understand
<v Speaker 1>why it was hard for you to even mention that,
<v Speaker 1>because you don't want your wife's father to think you're crazy,
<v Speaker 1>and at the same time, you don't want her to say, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>I'm done, you've lost your mind. So I completely understand
<v Speaker 1>the position that you were put in. And these creatures
<v Speaker 1>do cause a lot of grief because we aren't being
<v Speaker 1>told about them and they do exist. But yeah, I
