I mean, that's just kind of like the thing. But he was nine of twelve one twenty eight two touchdowns against it. It was his first multi touchdown game against the Blitz this entire season. I'm excited to watch the Bears too, of course, they're coming off the heartbreaker. They're in a completely different scenario and situation this season than the Lions are in. One team is completely dominating and has basically, i mean, every single facet of their game is firing right now. Even after losing their star defender and Aiden Hutchinson and then the Bears, they've lost five straight since their bye week seven.

Speaker 5: I mean this is they've allowed well, they did allow a season high thirty points to the Vikings last week. The Bears did, but the Bears they have the eighth best scoring defense. I don't think they show up this week. I think the Lions dominate.

Speaker 6: Michael Jordan me, no, yeah, no, that go so but you know, when the Bears sort of locked up justin Jefferson last week, Sam Darnold got the ball to a bunch of different receivers. Who has a bunch of different weapons in their offense Detroit. So I think the way that the Bears struggled to defend a variety of different players that bodes well for the Lions. Everything bodes well for the Lions these days, but that especially bodes well for the Lions in this matchup. Going back to the Bears offense, though, there is a lot to be thankful for, or a lot to be positive about heading into the future. You know, I even heard whispers coming out of that Minnesota market about how impressed Brian Flores was with the job that they did against his defense. And that's a young player in Caleb Willim and his receivers who are starting to connect. And I know I sound soft when I say this, but like there's something to be said for like enjoying your job this time of year and enjoying football and enjoying it is such a grind and he already you could you could see how tight and constricted and stressed this offense was just a few weeks ago. And like I mentioned and you've alluded to as well, as it's like energy, now it feels good. There's more answers for him. He's getting the ball out there, having fun, they're playing free.

That's not how professional coaches are built. But I would be like, oh, man, Dan cam Mel Kevin will kind of like, hey, how about I head over to the NFC South or something and beat up.

Speaker 6: One other thing about the Lions offense against the Bears defense that I think unless we see a major adjustment from the Bears, they're playing a super high frequency fifth highest in the league of single high coverage, while Jared Goff is first in the NFL and completion percentage and yards against single high safety coverage, which he continues to face because the Lions run the ball well and more defenders are devoted towards stopping that element of their game, but they just pick them apart through the air.

That is where I think the Bears would see some potential mismatches, assuming Carlton Davis isn't out there and the way Caleb Williams is playing.

Put Jayden Daniels andreke matin Because the team is such a downer, it's not getting as much attention. But some of the things he's doing, he's getting better. Getting to a second read faster. I wouldn't say it's fast, but it's definitely way faster where you see him reading the whole field already one of the best in the league at two minutes situations. They showed the stat on the fox padcast last week that they're in the top five in terms of points at the end of I think it was the first half. And then you saw the way they managed the situation at the end of that game, getting eleven points in the last two minutes, Like, he is so good there.

It just kind of lets you know that he's feeling it, and I think he'll know that the everyone in the country is watching him in this game. And this Cowboys pass rush has looked way better since Michael Parsons has returned. Funny mat right, funny how that works like a generational talent. But they looked pretty good honestly for three straight games on defense. So that is a mismatch I would worry about if I was Tommy DeVito.

And this is courtesy of Aaron Shatz, our friend on Blue Sky. Miami Dolphins pass offense DVOA in weeks one through seven was thirtieth. In weeks eight through twelve has been ninth, and it would be higher weeks eight through twelve if not for opponent adjustments as well through that DVOA process. And so this is a completely night and day team. Again, when when Tua is back in the lineup and they're they're feeling it a little bit.

But you know, good for the Panthers first of all, to show so much improvement and progress that they actually got themselves in a position to lose a heartbreaking game to Pat Mahomes in the final seconds. I mean, to me, that's quite a feather in your cap if you were where the Panthers previously were. But it also kind of showed more concern to me about the Chiefs and where they're at. And I'm almost like, you know, I always compare them to like the team that just understands how to get their bodies ready and like just push into the postseason, just sort of this like behemoth, like one of those giant freight ships that you see slowly coming in to the harbor and it just there's no stopping it, right, it just goes. But at the same time, like, I don't know, it's just it's almost like Eagles, except without the salty, bad.

I think comparing them to the Patriots is it makes more sense because the difference is Nick like Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid will never be Sirianni and hurts no offense to them, like they are two of the greatest of all time. So I think their floor is so much higher. But I don't think They're a great team. I've settled more in on some of those Patriots teams that had some pretty clear shortcomings but also had the greatest you know, one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time and one of the greatest coaches of all time, and that especially the twenty thirteen and twenty fifteen ones that lost to the Broncos and the conference championship. That's where I think this Chiefs team is going. I'm going to give you you're making a face as that look.

So I think all the concern about the Chiefs and people are like, how this is the worst ten to one team ever and blah blah blah blah blah, and they're so lucky. It's it's somewhere in between. Let's say their total efficiency DVOA puts them at seventh. That fit It feels exactly right, ye like that they actually are a really good team. They're really efficient on offense. We know how they can coach things up. But here are their issues, and I think they've been increasing, which makes them bigger, and you could let's let's rank them. Maybe these are the big ones. Number one, they're offensive tackles, yes, okay, okay. Number two their overall team speed on offense. Number three their lack of a pass rush. And I wanted to put that out there because I don't think that's getting a lot of pop.

And since he's out and he's probably not coming back this season, it appears it's been a big drop off.

But at the same time, we sort of just assume that in a Spagnolo system, any issues that come up will be fixed, right, but that might not necessarily be the case deep into December and also into the postseason that they're expected to play. The tackles are a problem, and they've been a problem for a lot of the year. They've been rotated, either due to performance or to injury issues they have. They just they show up every game against the Panthers, they were a huge issue. They were a real reason why the Panthers were able to gain some momentum deeper into that game because they were not only having some issues with their standard rush but also some of the blitz pickups that they needed to account for. And yeah, that's I would rank that number one for sure. Team speed also is a factor. It does lead into my spicy side. But if you're still going, or if we're still now, let's hear it. So the Raiders, for all their kind of getting left out of the building or out of the conversation.

He's an electric player. I know Pat's was a big factor last week in helping to account for him limit him. He had thirty eight yards, which I believe was his second low second lowest amount of yards in the season. But this rookie tight end, he's outstanding. He does everything, and I think he's gonna double Travis Kelcey's production in this game. I think the Raiders will lose. I think they will get trounced, But I think that I do think that brock Bauers because he who else, I mean, where else are you gonna put the ball?
